The Buick LaCrosse Comes Back To Life For Chinese Market

Big sedans may be all but gone in the United States, but the Chinese market still loves them. Though the Buick LaCrosse has already been discontinued in the US for several years, General Motors continued selling it in China and even gave it a facelift. Now, leaked information from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shows that Buick plans to release an all-new LaCrosse.
rnThe updated sedan features vastly different styling than the US model that went out of production in 2019. Both the front and rear bumpers don't even look like they belong to the Buick family, looking more like a Toyota Camry or Avalon. The front end especially looks like it was inspired by the Buick Wildcat Concept. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the LaCrosse will wear the new Buick logo. Though the looks are fresh, this LaCrosse rides on the same GM Epsilon 2 platform as the outgoing model. This is evident when looking at structural points like the hood and trunk lid. In addition to the photos, the MIIT site also shared the LaCrosse's dimensions.
It measures 196.7 inches long (a 0.8-inch decrease), 73.5 inches wide (no change), and 57.9 inches tall (a 0.4-inch increase). As for the wheelbase, it remains unchanged at 114.4 inches, which is expected since it shares a platform. This full-size sedan tips the scales at 4,630 pounds. The MIIT even revealed what's under the hood. Chinese customers will have a choice between a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 169 horsepower or a larger 2.0-liter making 227 hp, a slight decrease over the outgoing model's 237 hp rating. Both pale in comparison to the 3.6-liter V6 offered in the North American market, which produced 310 hp.
More information about the 2024 Buick LaCrosse, including interior photos, should be revealed closer to April 2023. Buick plans to fully reveal the car for China at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show. And now, there are no plans to bring it stateside.

My car ran fine from 2016-2019 - I barely drove it. It had 40,000 miles on it after 3 years and since I take the train to work and the car was inexpensive and seemed to run well, I figured why not take over the lease. As soon as I did, the turbo boost failed. So I brought it to the dealership and they fixed it. When I got it back, the ENGINE EXPLODED. After having it towed to the dealership, they told me that it was irreparable. When I asked Buick for help, they said that there was sludge in the engine which must mean I never changed the oil, which is patent nonsense – how would I pass inspection three years in a row with an unmaintained vehicle? Not to mention I had my service station pull receipts from as many oil changes they could find (7) and sent those as proof but they replied those were written in pencil and so are not valid. That is nonsense. But even still, I dug deeper and found another receipt, an original carbon copy on the yellow paper, typed out. They just ignored that, as they also ignored the OnStar system report showing a robust maintenance history with oil changes at about every 5000 miles. No matter. They closed the case. I still owe $15,000 to GM Financing. Why do they think Im going to pay it? I will get justice and have my credit repaired despite their evil tampering. And I will sue for damages too. And Ive started a Facebook Group for other people who have had problems with (what Ive come to learn) their notoriously awful, neglectful, careless, thoughtless, ignorant, unjust, and bullying customer service. This company should be gutted and replaced with a newer generation of younger executives who understand todays customer as well as the power of social media.**
I recently purchased a 2012 Buick LaCrosse AWD. I traded in a 2008 Chevrolet Impala LTZ. After driving the Buick for several months now, I wish I had the Impala back. The Buick is a beautiful car with a huge defect. GM has designed and programmed the 6-speed automatic transmission to shift at over 5,000 RPM. At the high RPM, the engine noise is very noticeable. Perhaps the worst effect is that the high RPM sucks gas and the car gets nowhere near the advertised mileage. The Buicks engine has as much, if not more power, than the Impala so the high shift points are completely unnecessary. They will result in higher engine and transmission wear, and they are killing the gas mileage. I am seeing growing complaints from other Buick LaCrosse owners, but when I contacted Buicks Customer Service about the problem, they blew me off saying the car is performing normal. They wouldnt admit the other complaints, and refuse to discuss any remedy. When entering the highway and accelerating to highway speed, the transmission only uses three of the six speeds before reaching the speed limit. I choked when I heard the new Chevrolet Cruze TV commercial say, With the 6-speed transmission, it allows for lower shift points. If this is the way GM is going to treat loyal customers, then its time for me to check out Toyota and Honda. I dont know how Buick avoided the Gas Guzzler Tax with this vehicle. Someone must have lied to EPA.
There are so many models to choose from. Whether you have a family, are a couple or single, you are sure to find one that fits your lifestyle. My Buick Regal has four door with keyless entry, power windows, super great air conditioning and heat. Extremely quiet ride. The factory radio even sounded wonderful and I upgraded it which was excellent. I also had special rims and chrome put on the car. I also was able to custom order the color of upholstery I wanted. You had choices of that as well. Leather or cloth. And had I wanted, I could have had the console different. I also added Bluetooth so I could talk hands free. My Regal was very spacious. I sat the oldest upfront and had a car seat and my 2 daughters in the back. They were able to sit comfortably, with plenty of room, which is very important to keep fights from occurring.
2011 Buick Enclave - I purchased this car new in August of 2010. Beginning December 2012, I have had it in the shop 10 times. The following items have broken down: water pump, passenger A/C temp actuator, memory seat motor, steering gear replaced, shift control and actuator, both front lower control arm bushings, brake vacuum booster, crank shaft seal, bad engine mount and the rear temperature control head which burned my daughter. The rear temperature control head that was replaced still gets so hot it could burn you. I was told there is nothing more that can be done. They suggested I turn down my interior lighting. Thats not going to happen. I am so disappointed in Buick.
I purchased a Buick LaCrosse. The vehicle is very good on fuel and is extremely comfortable to drive and ride. The heating and air conditioning adjust the comfort in the car very quickly when left outside. The aerodynamics make the car look very sleek. Powered moonroof has a net to protect from pests when open. I have never seen that on any other vehicle. Then I adjusted the grill cover for online that was custom made. Very comfortable seating for 4 adults. On a few occasions I attempted 5, but there was limited leg room in the back.
Buick makes luxury sedans, suvs, and other vehicles. They are top of the line and I was very satisfied with my purchase. The car I own is an suv that has performed very well over the few years I have owned it. They offer automatic transmission, keyless entry, and push to start. I enjoyed their other features as well, such as power reclining seats and leather seats. You can purchase leather seating, and much more. I bought the 4G LTE Wifi which I use for business. It is very reliable and worth the extra money. They offer plenty of room and many ways to make extra space for added passengers. My sedan is very roomy and has no issues as far as space goes.
My 2005 Buick Rainier is an older car, but has not given us any problems. It has been very reliable and the only things we have had to do are just considered regular maintenance. I like the leather seats and the wood details such as the steering wheel. I love the amount of space in the back as well as the dual climate control. The only features I would add are a sun/moon roof and maybe a DVD player for the back for long trips. Other than that, I just love the entire look of the car and it is also a very smooth ride.
Buick has a lot of different colors, sizes and engine performance. The appearance is important because you have to enjoy what you’re driving. This vehicle has a very attractive look that people compliment all the time as well as features that accommodates my driving experience. Having the ability to upgrade certain features and parts helps me to customize my vehicle so it really gives me a great peace of mind that I made the right choice and I know it fits my personality. You have the ability to test drive different types of vehicles to make sure you find the right fit and feel. Knowing that you can give friends and family a fun ride or go on trips and knowing there is enough room for everyone to fit is a luxury and a great thing that this vehicle has and much more.
In the 3 years I have owned my Encore I have not had one problem. Great size, easy to handle, stable on the highway and easy to park. It is also practical because you can lower the back seats to carry large items. The back door allows for easy access to the cargo area.
Why would you build cars where you have to pay to get a light bulb changed (head lamps)? Advanced Auto cant help. Got an oil change. They couldnt help. Sick of Buick.
2013 Buick Encore - August 22, 37K miles maintenance. Sept. 22, engine light. 24th, told loose hose. Oct. 22, 2K miles later, engine light. They rebuilt engine (piston, rings replacement), picked up on 11/5/14. 11/7/14 engine light on, returned to dealer.
I really love the car. The gas mileage is the absolute best. The absolute great dynamics of the whole car is my overall experience with the car model. It is the best car I have ever purchased and I plan on purchasing the same type of car next time.
When I scheduled a routine oil change, the service writer recommended changing transmission fluid at 50000 miles. Three days after this was done, my transmission completely stopped. They persistently denied that the procedure caused the transmission failure or even that they should have seen the problem when doing the fluid work. They charged over 3600 for the new transmission on top of what I had already paid for the fluid. After I complained to GM about this, they contacted the dealers customer relations department. The decision was to refund half of the cost of the new transmission. The dealers representative said the refund was coming because I had been a good customer, still not admitting the obvious cause. The check was to be sent in about a week. Nearly three weeks have passed and no refund has been received. Please note this review concerns the above incident, not my overall satisfaction with my Buick. As far as I know, installation of the new transmission was successful.
Buick is the best out there. Its luxurious, beautiful and has many colors to choose from. The seats, especially the Captains chair is so comfortable I would have no problem sleeping in it. And I have kids so it must be dependable. Ive owned 2 now and when I bought my last one I wanted the security package.
Been fighting Buick for 4 months to get them to reimburse me for known fuel system issues just because I didn’t take to Buick dealer (I don’t trust the Buick dealership in the town where the car wouldn’t start). Ridiculous how bad the communication has been! Family has been loyal Buick family for over 60 years but we will never own another Buick and we will discourage any family members or friends from ever purchasing a Buick!
I purchased a brand new 2021 Buick Encore GX AWD just back in February 27th, 2021 with 12 miles on it at signing. As of May 14th, 2021 it has been at the Belleville, IL Cardinal Buick dealership shop due to a check engine light that occurred that day. After 5 days theyve yet to call me to tell me whats going on nor how long it will take to fix or replace. I only drove 960 miles and filled the tank twice since I got it. The car upon starting made a rumbly sound shaking the left side of the car violently and the check engine light went on immediately after. Not to mention the car was sounding like a 20 year old car a few weeks prior to that but no light ever went on for that reason. I never even had that car running above 3,000rpm so its not like I was abusing it.I figure it was just because its a 3 cylinder. It sounds like a rattling can after starting it. Way too loud for a new car. I noticed there was a bolt missing on the turbo block which when I checked to see if anything liquid was leaking under the hood from the rumble. The shocks and struts are terrible, too. You go over a slight asphalt repair in the road at 10 miles per hour and youre glad you got a seat belt on. Imagine what its like on the highway. They also sold me one with a flawed paint job with poorly done spot touch ups. Theres a huge scratch that looks like some moron scratched it with a key or snow scrapper by the driver-side rear window and a huge notch by the hood like a mechanic dropped a tool on it. Why a mechanic would be under the hood of an unpurchased car with 12 miles on it is something to wonder. Makes me think some previous test driver messed it up and they tried to fix it.I didnt see any of this when I test drove it due to the dealership holding us hostage there for 8 hours with our credit credentials. By the time we actually got to test drive, it was already getting dark. This is a common theme for this dealership I later found out. I asked if they could give me a replacement when I took it in to have it looked at and they said they cant because its already financed. Translation: We know we sold you trash, that we tried to mask a previously damaged car as new that we failed to report to carfax or authorities, and were not taking it back because that admits guilt and we can be legally liable and subject to possible civil or criminal charges punishable by fines or imprisonment. They didnt even give me a loaner car while its being in their shop.Im stuck paying $25,000 on this overpriced garbage thanks to the useless Lemon Law of Illinois because it has to break a certain number of times in a 12 month period. New cars shouldnt be failing at all...period. If it breaks early on that means somebody at the factory didnt do something right and theres obviously more problems lying in wait soon due to lack of quality control. I dont want it back. I only made two payments on it and it failed. I dont trust any of their products or dealerships now. Maybe I can sell it to an art museum if Im stuck with it. Experience Buick...The Trash of the Future...Today now showing at the St. Louis Art Museum.
The Buick LeSabre was an affordable means of transportation and a comfortable riding car. It was a four door sedan, nothing more or less. It also has average looks and good gas mileage. I could not have asked for more at that time of purchase.
I purchased a 2011 Buick Regal CXL literally 73 days ago. It only had 56,000 miles and came with power train warranty. After acceleration issues on the highway I have been informed that I should also have a manufacturers warranty on the vehicle. It spent about a week in the service department at the dealership. I purchased it at for a cosmetic piece, they agreed to fix when I purchased it. During that time they were supposed to inspect my current problem which was that the check engine light came on while on the highway and I could not fully accelerate. Their conclusion was that they could find nothing wrong. So about 24 hours later on my trip back on the highway, the check engine light went back on again. Not only could I not fully accelerate, I could not get the vehicle to go into gear at all. The gear shift would blink when I put it into drive but would not go. I had to get towed to the dealership which I had to pay $100.00 for. And now after getting my vehicle back yesterday afternoon (after two weeks) and being told it was a system update that needed to be done and all was well, I found myself once again on the highway with a check engine light and not able to fully accelerate. I was able to coast home obviously under the speed limit but I have called the dealership where I bought the vehicle and tried two different 800 numbers that I have and cannot find anyone jumping out of their seats to try and fix my car. Needless to say I am displeased and concerned. I just want my vehicle running correctly and safely and want to feel good about this purchase. And I would love some assistance in making this happen!!!
They mostly have big cars. I like big cars but a few smaller vehicles would be really good to choose from. Other than that I like the car. I really do like the overall big professional look. It looks nice and I feel it runs well too, includes a ton of features as well. High passenger capacity and good storage for groceries, and I think its really good for traveling far and Im really satisfied. Its awesome that I can hold so much.
The 2007 Buick Lucerne is not much of a car but it rides nice. Has given me very few problems but gets good gas mileage and is great for long trips.
Although 2016 Buick Encore is a small 4 cylinder, it has plenty of power. Enough to get in and out of traffic, fantastic gas mileage. It has a great back up camera, blind spot alert, all wheel drive, Bluetooth, Pandora, etc. Can sign up for OnStar services too. Im pleased with mine.
I purchased a 2011 Buick Enclave with 35,000 miles on it a year and a half ago. First 3 months I had it the transmission went and needed new brakes. Its been in dealership 2 more times with a squeaking noise that steering wheel makes. Both times I was told it was fine. Now its back at the dealership because it suddenly wouldnt start. When I finally got it started a message appeared stating that engine only has half power. Not to mention that as you are slowing down from a speed of about 50 mph the front end feels like it is skipping. Guess I will be told that is nothing either. Each time I am without my vehicle for days. Guess I should have kept my Honda Pilot.
I own a 1998 Buick Skylark. The vehicle had 24,000 miles on it when I purchased it. It now has 117,000 miles on it. Two years ago, while I was driving the car, it just stopped on me. I was told that a camshaft was broken and that it would be easier to have the engine replaced instead of trying to fix the camshaft. I kept the vehicle maintained on a regular basis. I replaced at least 3 water pumps, 3 intake manifold gaskets, 2 EGR Valves, as well as other repairs. I didnt find out about the Dex-Cool recall until 2009 when the car stopped running. This explains why I had to replace water pumps, intake gaskets, and EGR valves so frequently. Is there any help for people like myself who cant afford to keep sinking money into cars in which the Dex-Cool product caused other problems?I am without an automobile. I had the vehicle towed to a repair shop to have an engine installed but finding an engine with low mileage is next to impossible. The cost for a used engine with over 200,000 miles was $1,700. A rebuilt engine will cost $2,800. The blue book value of the vehicle is around $1,900 if its in excellent condition. The junk yard will probably give me about $100. The body of the car is in excellent condition. I have looked for used vehicles in the $1,500 to 3,000 price range and the mileage is considerably higher than the mileage on my vehicle or the vehicles history in general is in question or both.
It offers several models. It has the Buick Lacrosse and the Buick Regal. The exteriors of both cars are roomy and comfortable. Both are an easy drive over many types of terrain. The Lacrosse comes with heated leather seats with lumbar adjustment, free 4G wifi, and exterior has clean and bold chrome. It has a V6 engine and includes OnStar technology. It also has voice-activated technology. It has air conditioning, power steering and Bose sound surround. It has remote keyless entry and vehicle starter system plus a moon roof. It has a seating capacity for 5 people with plenty of leg and head room. It comes with a lock system for rear view baby seats. It also have headrests for passengers.
I have a 2008 Buick Enclave. Has run well for the years I have had it. The engine failed a week ago. 149KM $9K in repairs and GM will do nothing about this. Dont buy any GM product. A joke to say the least.
The Buick Enclave is a new SUV, and we love it. Weve never had an SUV before, and this new car rides so well. It has Bose audio, great visibility and wi-fi for my tablet, which is truly great when on a long trip. It averages 20 mpg in town and more than 26 mpg on the highway. However, it doesnt have on windshield graphics that tell you how fast you are going. We have that on our LeSabre, and its a real safety feature. Nevertheless, weve had several Buicks and highly recommend them. They are also American made!
Buick has basically only cars and CUVs, not a variety of either. But what they do have they are good at. However, they are missing several models of cars that seem comparable to others. Cadillac had the ultra luxury space, so it makes it unclear exactly what Buick is going for. We purchased the LaCrosse and were very happy with the appeal overall. The color options were excellent and the curves were attractive. Overall the car had a modern, sleek, expensive look. Several personalization options were excellent, specifically some of the technology options. However, I feel that the Buick is lacking some of the more innovative safety features that other vehicles offer as options. While it doesnt have any huge passenger vehicles, it carries the popular and necessary options that carry between 5 and 8 people, which fits most families.
I really enjoyed all of the variety of cars that were available to me. Not only are there different companies of cars but Buick always seemed right. They have many kinds of cars that will fit any different lifestyle. Im always amazed how many compliments I get on my Buick. It looks so snappy and elegant. I like all of the features like the sunroof and the seat warming because it makes me feel superior. It was really great that I was able to choose what I wanted from the car. I am planning on having a bigish family. I wanted to have enough room in my new car to be able to grow into. And I think that Buicks passenger capacity is just right for me.
Buick offers padded seats, tinted windows, lock box and more. Its red with the red dark windows and ashy grey seats. It has safety belts and locks on compartments. It has nice floor carpeted flooring, too. The different shift gears are also amazing. I like that I upgraded it with new LED lights on the floor and the roof. I also changed the paint job and put new tires on. The old tires werent going to make it to winter. And its very spacious. Its room for my family and a extra person to fit. We always can go on family outings and all because of the room we have in the car.
Buick had the LaCrosse, Lucerne, Regal. A pretty good variety to choose from but I went with the Lucerne cause I liked that model the most out of them all. It has leather seats which also come with the heated feature, it has steering wheel controls and 8 way adjustable seats and there is just too much to go through. There is no upgrade or personalization features except the memory seats but it really is a nice car. It can fit up to 4 passengers in my medium sized car and they dont have to worry about feeling crowded and it is really comfortable and all passengers enjoy it. I love the car a lot.
I purchased a Buick LaCrosse Flex Fuel vehicle and have been having issues with my fuel system since using E85 gas. I was told that I could use regular gas or E85 because its Flex Fuel. I had my fuel pump replaced, had to have my fuel drained, lines cleaned and because of the E85 gas I used Im still having issues. The dealership advised me not to use E85 again. GM has a bulletin out since Jan. 30, 2017 saying E85 is damaging these vehicles but REFUSED to help me when I filed a complaint. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM GM. They will not back up their product ESPECIALLY since this is a mistake on their part! I will be contacting legal help concerning this matter.
I love this car! Its safe, a clean/solid ride with low maintenance. Takes a synthetic oil and doesnt need to be changed but every 7500 miles. Its a little slow picking up speed, but its pretty good on gas. Nice starter car or one for the pre-retirement stage of ones life.
This complaint is not about customer service at any Buick dealer, but a complaint against the design and production engineers who designed a 2008 Buick Lucerne that requires the fender well to be removed at a labor cost of $250.00 to replace a low beam bulb that costs less than $20.00. How stupid can GM get and what a ripoff to a long-time Buick owner? If I have to pay $250.00, I will never buy a GM product again.
2012 Buick enclave lift gate housing lifted - Customer service told us that it must be from ice. However it just started last week. Now the lift gate will not open. Gets stuck on the plastic trim on top of car. Does anyone have this trouble? They are saying its our cost and responsibility.
Bought a used 2012 Buick Enclave with just 60k miles on it. I was told it was a great safe family vehicle (by sales associate). 3 days after purchase the #2 injector failed and stranded us. We brought it back to dealership and they took it to Buick hall and had it repaired. A week later we were stranded again for the same issue (reduced power, smoking, fumes in car, stabilitrak alert all the same symptoms). This time we took it back to Buick hall and they said it was just an injector misfire, refused to replace it. We asked about recalls and they said there were none. A few weeks later all the same things happened and we called them. They wanted 200 to test fuel system, knowing we knew what the issue was, then said if it was in fact the injectors again its eight hundred per faulty injector. I have NEVER had so many issues with a vehicle in my life. We are a single income household with four young boys, we cant afford to shell out all this money and now we are stuck in an unsafe lemon that has stranded my family on the side up the road for this same issue several times since. Total of 6 months weve had this LEMON!!!
We bought the 2006 Buick Lucerne CXL 2.5 Years ago @ Taylor Automotive in Martin, TN. We drove it down the road for a test drive. I drove, didnt drive very far, possible 3 miles. The Car drove sorta good. We bought it. That Sunday night drove it to work, we worked 3rd shift. The Monday morning got in the car, it would not go into reverse. So, I put it back into park and got the rpms up. Then put the car into reverse. It went in gear. The next day Tuesday got the tires rotated. The car had new tires on it. The guy at Melvins Tire in Murray, KY said, Bobby these wheels are bent. So, I called Jermany @ Taylor Automotive. And told them. They replaced 2 wheels. Then later on I found out the car had the wrong battery on it. I emailed Jermany and told him. I Also took pictures and got on GMs website and called GM to confirm if it had the wrong battery on it. Jermany told me that it was the right battery but later on he retracted his words and told me the battery would be there Tuesday. Then the car kept on not going into gear, so I called GM and they told me to take it to the dealer. So, I did.Taylor Automotive said there was nothing wrong with the transmission. Which 2.5 years now it still doesnt go into gear right away. The dealer told me that the new Buicks did the same. I have a 1977 Chevy Nova, it will go into gear in any position. I bought one other wheel because Taylors would not replace it. There is still one more wheel which is bent. They are 17 wheels. I have it documented @ GM that all this is true. I will never buy a GM product. I am going to send one of the bent wheels to GM CEO so he knows what kind of the cars that Taylor Automotive is selling, being a GM dealership. I have more for later.
My Buick has issues with my coolant. I had to install a water pump and a new thermostat was installed. Now they tell me my motor mount is broken. Also one day my 2006 Buick Lucerne would not shift out of park. I take it to the dealer and they tell me I need a shifter assembly. This is starting to be very costly. I did some research and a lot of people have these same problems. How would I file a complaint directly to GM.
I purchased my 2014 Buick Verano in November 2014 and now have almost 7,500 miles on the car. I just love it, I have noticed like a previous comment about the transmission shifting. I asked the dealership and their response was, this is normal and if I was not comfortable or felt unsafe, they would take a look at it for me. I just love my new car and I had many GM vehicles in the past and will continue to purchase GM products in the future. I love the design inside and out. GM has a best-seller here with the Buick Verano. I just cant get over that they should have thought of this car earlier. Keep up the great work GM.
I owned a 2010 Buick Lacrosse Touring with less than 55,000 miles that was diagnosed as having a serious lower engine problem and malfunctioning transmission by a GMC/Buick dealership here in St Louis, MO. All but $1000 of the $4000 repair bill was covered by the 5 year drivetrain warranty. So I sold it at a big loss and found a 2012 Lacrosse Touring with low miles because my wife insisted on buying an American car. Guess what people, same problem. Bad engine and transmission. My engine sounds like its ready to quit any minute and my transmission revs up to 1500 RPMs to shift gears. Its my experience and opinion that the Buick company officers should be held accountable for blatant fraud.
Buick has SUVs and pretty large cars. The newer ones are really lovely. Mine is a 2003 and its given me no trouble. I love the color of my Century- hunter green. I also like the design. Mine isnt very fancy but its comfortable. The seats make it feel like Im driving around a comfy couch. :) I like the leather interior too. Its big enough for me and my big dog and the trunk has space for everything! Its very roomy and theres a lot of space for everyone to move around. Leg room galore! I love it and would definitely buy another one.
I love the Encore and the convertible Cascada which is an awesome car but Im sure its insurance will be really high. It has great handling thats both quiet and smooth. I love the color which is a beautiful chocolate brown and they have very sleek designs and styles, leather seating and are now more stylish instead of the older style bodies. I choose leather interior with heated seats, rear view camera, Sirius XM radio and as always, I absolutely had to have my OnStar. No exceptions!! The seats are extremely comfortable. Being that the ride is quiet, my passengers never have a complaint. Roomy, spacious and plenty of seating for me and the kids.
Buicks variety is very good. They have a lot of models and colors you can choose from. Every time they make a new one they become more advanced. The appearance and the standard features of the cars are great. The inside of the car is very detailed and have an overall great appearance. It is equipped with a quality air bag. The passenger capacity is great. The leg room is amazing, my passengers never complain about little leg room. And the seats are really comfortable. However, I am only satisfied because they could have made it better but its still good. I would like if I could personalize the inside of my car before I bought it or had a better variety of colors like rose gold because thats my favorite color. But overall I would definitely recommend.
You can usually go find you a decent vehicle at a reasonable price. The cars are very safe and they keep you updated on any recalls. My favorite car is the Buick LeSabre. It has been a blessing to me and my family. It has the sporty look that I love. Came in my favorite color which is black. I enjoyed the sun roof as a commodity on days when I didnt wanna run my air conditioner. The back camera on the license plate and the Aux cord was a plus too. The lights on the rear bumper view let you really see behind you. Although, I had a small car so you fit just the people I needed. The trunk has more than enough space on it. The passenger seat was heat and air conditioning in that side.
We purchased an 09 enclave a little over 2 yrs ago. When we bought it they had to replace the motor mount. Then they replaced the fuel pump. Then coil packs. Later on the transmission had to be fixed. We have continued to replace coil packs one after the other. NOW the motor is bad! Oh and my ac compressor just fell to pieces and fell to the ground. I love my car but Im making $628 payments still having to correct MAJOR problems. They need to reimburse us!
I purchase my 2017 Buick Verano April 29, 2017 from Hanlee Hilltop Buick in Richmond, CA. The vehicle had under 40 miles on it when I purchase, so I felt that it was a brand new vehicle and with the deal it was great. My problems with the vehicle started in August 2017. I went out to start my vehicle one morning and it would not turn over. All my lights and radio came on when I turned the key. I called roadside service to give me a jump start and the vehicle turned over. I took the vehicle back to the dealership to get looked at and the mechanic stated that nothing wrong with the vehicle. The vehicle started up and I drove off. After that incident my vehicle start acting up again on November 23, 2017.This time the vehicle wouldnt arm and I had to lock it from the inside. November 24, 2017 the vehicle wouldnt start again. So my vehicle was towed to Lehmers Concord Buick since theyre closer to me. Concord stated that they checked my vehicle thoroughly and they couldnt find anything wrong with the vehicle. December 13, 2017 my vehicle would not start, Buick roadside came out and jumpstart my vehicle. So as of right now Im fed up, Im having more problems with this brand new vehicle. The mechanic specialist at the dealership cannot find the issue. Buick roadside service had to come out multiple times to jumpstart my vehicle or tow. Also my neighbors or family members would jump my vehicle. The service department ask me all the time, are you leaving anything on in the vehicle? No, Im not. If I was, its a new vehicle why is it shutting down. I had problem in Feb. 2018, end up getting an jump from a neighbor. My vehicle is still under warranty and Im afraid that they going find whatever is wrong with the vehicle after my warranty has expire. The wouldnt start on June 10, 2018 at a family event after the vehicle sat for five hours. I had to get a jump from a family member. Again, on June 16, 2018 went out to the vehicle after shopping with my daughter for a couple hours and the vehicle wouldnt start. I took the vehicle to Buick on June 18, 2018. They again look at my vehicle thoroughly and reset some things. Vehicle was running good for almost a month.July 13, 2018 about 1140 pm I was leaving an event went to start my vehicle and it wouldnt start. I sat on OnStar for three in half hours to try to get someone to tow the vehicle to Buick in Richmond or Concord. I end in Richmond around 430 am on Saturday and had to catch Uber from Richmond to Antioch. My vehicle was left on the streets cause Buick didnt have no open drop off location with a situation like this nor a drop box for keys. I went back to the dealership Saturday morning about 9 am. I was told that its nothing they can do to my car until Thursday or Friday of the following week. My vehicle would have to stay on the street until Monday morning. As of today Im trying to use the Buick roadside assist to tow my vehicle from the Buick in Richmond to Concord. Thats hassle, I spoke with a young man at Buick roadside and he stated that someone will give me a call within four hours due to my situation. No callback! I called this morning and received a little help, still waiting for the call back about my tow from Richmond to Concord. Im going have to take further action, cause I know Buick most likely not going to let me out of the contract. THIS VEHICLE IS A LEMON!!!
We have a 2007 Buick with 25,000 miles on it and the GM engineers cannot figure out what is wrong. First we took the car to Richard Kay Superstore in Anderson, SC. They had it for 3 weeks, told me they called the GM engineers but never documented it. Gave us the car back, said it was fixed but the engine light came on within one hour driving the car home. Called the dealer back, they offered no solution, left us very disappointed. We decided to try the local Chevrolet dealer, Sonic Chevrolet in Walhalla, SC. They had the car for two months, replaced a number of sensors. Contacted the GM engineers, started a issue ticket with them. Sonic Chevrolet took the time with us and said if the light comes on again there are only two things left, one that will cost $700.00 and the other that costs $1,000.00. They said the engineers told them they have never seen this happen before.Well after two days the light is back on. Since we have already spent $1,000 on parts and another $650 on new tires. I should say we originally purchased the car new and always had it serviced by GM dealers and mechanics on a regular basis. We will be bringing the car back to Sonic Chevrolet in Walhalla SC. With this issue, one needs to ask, why would anyone want to buy a GM vehicle when the computer or engineers cannot find out why the engine light is on? Seems to me that if there was no computer you wouldnt need all of the sensors and there wouldnt be a issue with a engine light, and I wouldnt have had the car tied up for three months or had to spend the money on top of the regular service we had done.
2017 Buick Enclave - 2nd Enclave we have owned. Has dangerous problems with blind spots. Almost 0 visibility on both sides. We had to add spot mirrors on side mirrors. The worst problem is with the Navigation system that Buick is aware of, but is not making any effort to correct. Nav sys will tell you to make a U-turn where there is no place to make a U-turn within 10 miles in the middle of the freeway. Used Nav Sys to get to an appointment, set it for our home address on the way home, told us to take a freeway going south instead of East--would have been in the middle of downtown Los Angeles had we followed the directions. We have contacted Buick - about 3 weeks ago and requested that they buy the automobile back from us and let us get on with our lives. However, we have heard nothing from either GM or the dealer we bought the car from. WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER GM CAR AS LONG AS I LIVE! Will encourage everyone I know not to buy GM. It is unconscionable that they refuse to even talk with us!!! Dealers service person advised us that the Nav Sys is a problem with this model and there is no indication as to when or if they will have it resolved.
Buick drives well, good expansion, great CD Bluetooth stereo and speakers. I enjoy The ride. Gets great gas mileage. It has great color, plenty of room but not too big, it can fit 6 people comfortably. It has a small motor V6. I like the silver, red is beautiful. When backing up you have a beep if you get near anything. You will enjoy driving, you can talk and text without holding a phone theres a Bluetooth in this deer yet theres a place to hold your phone. The whole family can ride and enjoy comfortable and lush seating.
I have a 2010 Buick Enclave. It recently started having steering issues at low speeds. I took it to my local repair shop and recommended a rack assembly replacement. It did not fix the issue. I did some research and found that Buick has been problems with this issue. I took my car back to the repair shop and they looked and found that there was a special coverage adjustment for this. It extended the coverage for 10 years or 150,000 miles. They say they will pay for the expenses if they have already been done. I was told I was mailed a recall in 2014, which I did not. This was about the time I purchased the car used. The representative had my mailing address as MA not MS. Then said it was MS.Bottomline, they refuse to pay for it, saying my deadline was 2015 and I should have taken it to a dealer. I had no knowledge there was a recall (even though it had been in dealer earlier in year) and did not have issues until late 7/2016. If I did, why would I take it to a local repair shop. Guess the 10 year extension really does not mean the paper it is printed on. The local dealer would not even attempt to help with getting a refund, even though on page 14 it says they should help. Not please with the Buick family with my first Buick. Likely to be last due to this.
Im absolutely in love with my vehicle’s quality & performance. Ive only had one problem due to my ignorance. I live in Northern Manitoba Canada. We experience extreme temperatures and I didnt allow the vehicle to run long enough to warm up. Thus resulting in the power steering hose to fail. I searched around for a garage that would fix it at a fraction of what the dealer would cost. Turns out the dealer had a better price and warranty. Despite new ownership, I received my customer loyalty price. Ive replaced my tires and its like driving a brand new Enclave. Ive fell in love all over again. My first ever experience with Buick in all my years and I have nothing but good to say. I highly recommend 2013 Buick Enclave.
While Toyotas are excellent vehicles, my family has always been pretty loyal to the General Motors line of vehicles. This is the second Buick I have had, and if this one is as good as the first I had, Ill be driving it for a long time. Its a good looking car, and is extremely comfortable to ride in as a driver or passenger. The Lucerne has interior features that are what I use a lot, other than Bluetooth. I could do without that. The interior is leather, with wood accents. It also has the standard AM/FM radio with a CD player. Moreover I really enjoy the air conditioning, as I had no air conditioning in my 84 Camaro, other than windows and t-tops wide open. The body lines are nicely curved, and give a bit of a different flair to it than most others have. Overall, it drives beautifully, its really comfortable.
Its a great car and I felt its safe, too. I LOVE to show it off as well and all my friends and family like to look at it and they say they want that car too. There are lot of features like the cool seats and the doors. Maybe if I can, I might add some new ones, too, like a talking phone but I might as install a car gps. Its really cool and fun neat car to have. You can fit more than five people in it and thats really cool because sometimes I have more than three people who want to ride with me.
The Buick Enclave for my family of six has given me nothing but problems. My check engine light would stay on majority of the time. It use to sound like something up under the vehicle was loose because it would rattle really badly. Whenever you started the truck up, it would make a loud roaring sound and grinding when making a left hand turn. My heat/air went out. All of the warning signals began lighting up. My front driver tire would always go low; but I was told by the dealership that the passenger back tire sensor needed to be replaced. The list goes on and on, but now it has been inoperable and parked in front of my garage since May 4, 2017. I had just got the vehicle used from a car lot; that had just purchased it from the dealership next door to them that morning. The downside was that it was purchased AS IS and with no extended warranty. The worst part is that it was purchased to replace a car that I had just lost, due to a total loss of being in an accident where I was not the at fault driver. I went months without a vehicle after being forced to turn in the rental. Now, my family has to endure being without a running vehicle now for almost a year. It is extremely unethical on GMs part because they were already aware of many of their plethora of models/years before they even started. Now, my family has been going in debt to pay for a vehicle that we cannot drive. I have been forced to turn down temp jobs because the strain of lack of multiple public transit routes not coinciding with job schedules. Most people in social media groups have been bragging about at last getting rid of their money pit vehicles. I wish that was even an option for me. However, if I was even able to afford to get it fixed, I would still be taking a major loss with the $4000 that I put down plus the loan payments that we are currently still making in addition to when I was still making full coverage insurance payments. That could have been going towards the loan payments, repairs, or even another vehicle.
2013 buick regal t - The light on the radio info center goes dim and goes out. Had it back to Buick but they cant find anything wrong with it. Take it home, does the same thing. Is anyone having the same problem?
My 2014 Buick Regal exploded at 5000 miles on the highway. And I got injured and had to stay at the hospital for 1 week for burns and MRSA caused by the explosion in the Buick Regal. I am never buying a car made by GM ever again. Thanks a lot. I will never drive your cars ever again, not even if you give it for free.
2017 Buick Regal looks kind of like a luxury car. Theres two door and four door sedan. 2017 Buick Enclave is a SUV four door. 2017 Buick Cascada is a two door sedan drop top very luxury looking vehicle. My car is a sedan two door. Looks like jail bars in the front. Diamond shaped front lights indent in the hood. The paint job is a nice one. Ive got a chrome finish that looks fantastic. Its very roomy enough room to fit five people.
Buick Envision Essence - The perfect size SUV, 4 cylinder so not so peppy. Great gas mileage 28.7 both city and highway combined for my first 15k. Roomy particularly the back seat. Have taken long trips with adult backseat passengers. Also love the blind spot warnings and the complete sunroof. Pricey though. My sticker was 40,543 but bot 15% off. Made in China. Not that many on the road.
Just leased a 2016 Buick Encore, base with interlink radio, non-touchscreen display. Cant see out back due to glare, fog or general distortion. This could be dangerous! I went to my Buick dealer, he took out another 2016 Encore to compare the camera. Same effect, blurry on second Encore. Appears problem is in camera lens. I tried adjusting the contrast, dark, light on the dash display switch. No effect except darker, blurry. Dealer had no remedy. I just traded in a 2013 GMC Terrain, and received a recall notice from GMC concerning the backup camera with interlink radio. There is a new software patch for the terrain. Perhaps there is a new software for the Buick Encore??? Any advice, fix??
Buick has a great variety of vehicles. It was a wonderful color, kinda looked black but in the sunlight it was a deep purple. It had an on dash Gps that was placed very nicely, I didnt have to take my eyes off the road to look at it. It also had heated seats, for Michigan that is wonderful. My son is over six foot tall, and he did in the passenger side with comfort. The back seat was quite roomy as well. It had a hatchback making it easy to load and unload groceries. But I would love to buy the smaller Suv they have out now. It seems very stylish and so Good be excellent on gas mileage.
The appearance of the Buick looks like a luxury car but some models are very affordable. The standard features meet my needs, but there are many upgrade and personalization options. There is dual climate control, leather seats, different audio options and gps and there is also a Sirius radio option. Buick has always been a brand with ample passenger capacity. That is one of the features I most love about the Buick. Sometimes we go out with friends and there is never a problem with room.
This car has almost 300,000 miles and is still a decent car. My Buick Lesabre has almost 300,000 miles and is still going. I purchased this vehicle due to great reviews on the engine Buick used for this vehicle. I have kept my oil changed and regular tune ups. And I believe that makes a difference in the life of your car. I recommend this vehicle. I see a lot of older Buick Lesabres on the road daily. So they must be doing something right.
I have been very happy with my Buick Regal, however, it costs quite a bit to have repairs done at the dealership.
The Buick Envision is a joy to drive. It fits the bill for the car being not to small but not too big. Its peppy and very maneuverable. Styling is great, comfortable inside and great interior finishes. Pricing is right in-line with this type of vehicle. Long trips are a joy when driving this car on the highway. Its a great vehicle for young and old alike. You will not go wrong if you are lucky enough to purchase this vehicle.
Ive had nothing but problems with my 2015 Buick Encore. Radio crackles, paint is flaking, seats are impossible to get clean, and now the turbo charger needs replaced. I will never buy another Buick again.
I purchased a 2011 Buick Regal November 2011. Since that time I have been working with Sapaughs Service department to clear away problems that are causing my dissatisfaction, namely the performance of said vehicle. My greatest complaint is the near stall affect or the delayed response to acceleration and when it decides to respond it will jerk so bad that I am repositioned in my seat. I want a smooth operation. The experience of driving the said vehicle is not pleasant. I am convinced the service department at Sapaugh Motors does not know the cause of the said problem. I pay 631.00 dollars each month for a vehicle I am unhappy with. Please, can you help me?
I purchased a brand new 2016 Buick Encore end of August. I had issues with the car when driving under 40 mph where it would appear to cut out or shift hard. I had researched and found where other people had the issue and it went away a few thousand miles. Then in November at 3500 miles, it happened going down the highway at 50 mph and threw me forward in the car. Then once coming to a stop, I was unable to move in reverse, it made an awful sound and would not move. It would still go in drive but again cut out heavily. The car was towed to the dealer for repair.I am now told that the tool needed to repair my transmission was just ordered last week, over two weeks of having my car, that the tool would not be received until the end of December or first part of January. I am disappointed that GM would not approve for a complete transmission replacement as opposed to repair. I purchased the car loaded with every feature and I am most upset how long I am being deprived from the car.
I have a 2013 Buick Verano. The paint on the hood and roof is fading. Its Ebony Twilight Metallic. I love my Verano and plan keeping this car for a long time. Was wondering if anyone else is having this trouble or what can be done about it.
Buick offers every car you can think of. This is my first car and I love it. It has awesome qualities, it gets me to where I need to go. I can fill my car up with about 40 dollars and it lasts me through the week, and thats with going back and forth to work. I can be in the middle of nowhere and the radio picks up great. They have a Bluetooth option to connect your phone, so its hands-free. The ac and heat does me wonders. It heats up and cools down in an instant. Also, the seats are easy to manage. Overall this car has the very best qualities. Over the years, Buicks have changed in its performance and its technology. It makes everything easy to handle and I feel safer having this vehicle while my kids are in the car. Every car has its own unique style that can be suited for anyone. As each year passes by the better they get. It is a trusting brand that you can count on. I have never came across a better quality of car. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a dependable car and looking to save in gas.
We have a 2001 Buick LeSabre with less than 70,000 miles. The dash has separated and could cause the airbags to deploy. All of the window regulators have had to be replaced. The O2 sensor has gone out three times. The plating on the hub caps is peeling. And the most stupid thing is that the battery is under the backseat. I dont know who designed these cars but they are idiots. I will NEVER buy another GM car.
Buick comes pretty much standard with all that comes on ANY new car in this day and age. Electronic locks and windows, sleek, almost space time looking, nice four tires and rims, four-door sedan model with boot assist trunk for when your hands are full, looks incredible and we love it. There was plenty of room for 3 adults in back or 2 full-size car seats or boosters plus room in the middle for a third passenger.
My mother bought this 2008 Buick Enclave CXL with every possible option for $44,000. 75-year-old female driver only, always maintained, never abused. At 45K miles, she gave the car to me. 45-year-old male, perfect driving record, & preventative maintenance freak. At 48K miles, the transmission began slipping at various times & in various gears. Took it straight to dealer, the warranty was expired 6 months ago due to time, not mileage. The dealer charged me $212 to tell me the tranny was slipping (knew that). Said it would cost me $1,200 just to drop it & diagnose. Suggested I go with a GM rebuilt for $4,800. They said Buick would not help me with repairs or discount the parts, even with only 48K miles. I took it a couple blocks down the road for a $3,000 rebuilt tranny with a 1-year warranty. The bottom line is this was my last try with an American car. I have owned 10 vehicles: 4 Toyotas, 1 Nissan, 3 GM, and 2 Dodge. I still have 1 of the Toyotas with 94K miles & never a problem. I have never gotten to 75K on any of the American cars without major tranny or engine trouble. The opposite with the foreign brands, never any major trouble. Call it luck, I call it obvious & have finally learned my lesson. I will stay with Toyota for life.
No battery. Called Buick roadside service. Help came shortly. Took to Buick garage. No problem found. Must be a Poor quality battery. No replacement. Shame on Buick for inadequate battery on my LaCrosse.
I liked my car and I recommend this style. It holds six people very comfortably. It has two door with nice car seats, seatbelt, nice stereo, compact, gas saver and great motor. Buick also has very modern cars in variety of colors. They are always coming out with new styles.
I bought a 2014 Buick Enclave. One of the most best rides, safest, great looking, affordable and best vehicle I have ever bought. I have had no problems with this vehicle, great service at dealership and overall satisfied with my choice.
My car needed some serious work, and has for several months. There is an issue with the GM model of engine in my Buick that was brought to my attention about a year ago, that resulted a class action suit against GM. It was described to me as a slow deterioration of something within the engine (I am not a mechanic and do not claim to be. However, I am in a technical field). I have been saving up the money to get the (1000 dollars plus) repair done. About 3 months ago, my car started overheating. I was told that it would take about $1000 to $1500 to fix. But they said that they could not tell me exactly without taking the engine apart, which would cost several hundred dollars. They showed me how to put coolant directly into the radiator to avoid damaging the engine, until I could afford to get it fixed. I did it daily. The car kept running until eventually it overheated enough to cause several leaks, so I took it to them to fix. Originally, I was told it would be $1000 to $1500 to fix. They tentatively gave me a ballpark figure. I would not hold them to an estimate when they had not looked at the engine. And that is not what this complaint is about.By the time they called me the first time with an actual quote, it was around $2000 (I did not get it in writing). I asked them how much it would cost to fix the fan while they were in there (fan only worked on high, and was a preexisting issue). They told me it would add a couple hundred. I asked them to do that while they were in the engine. Once they called me back, they had found a bunch of other stuff that was wrong with my engine they had not quoted me for, and that it was now going to cost over 3000 dollars. When I told them to stop working on it, they informed me that they had already done 700 plus dollars worth of work. So, if they stopped, I would still have to pay that and my car would still not work. I could not afford this. But they assured me that the good news is that it passed the block test and the head gasket was fine. It had been tested several times. Since that was okay, my car would work for years after this repair.Having already been out of work for days without my car, I arranged to borrow money from my mother to cover the repairs, so I could get back to work. When I spoke with the mechanic to authorize the repairs, they listed a long list of everything that is needed to be done. It was a very long list. When they were done, I told them, I understand it needs quite a bit of work, but my only concern is the end result. I then asked them, If my car is only worth 4000 dollars, and I put 3020 dollars into it, when it is done, will it no longer overheat, will it be drivable, and will the heater work? The mechanic I spoke to (KJ **) said yes and continued to sell me on the repairs and what a good idea it was to do. I then asked the exact same question, just to be sure (I was planning for the worst) and got the same yes answer. The car was in the shop for a few days. The turn around was quite quick for the huge list of things that needed to be done (according to them). I called to check on it daily. I was never warned about any other problems. They told me on Saturday when I called that it was done, although I never received a call. And it was the end of the day when I tried calling. Im not even sure if they were open on a Saturday. And they told me that I had to come get it immediately. Well, it started out as him being pushy and encouraging me to come get it right then. But he eventually turned in to being flat out. He told me I had to pick it up because they did not have room on the lot for it.Regardless of if it was a rush job, a mistake on their part, or flat out fraud, I was sold an end result I did not get. When my girlfriend went to pick up the car to go to work (her work is approximately 1.5 miles from the auto mechanics shop), she was told that it was all fixed (just as I was on the phone). But she was told to keep an eye on it just in case and if it overheats to bring it back. She did not make it to work before it started overheating, not a mile and a half. Our house is only about a half mile away from her work (basically in between the two). So luckily, she was able to make it home after work. She told me it had gotten over half way to the red overheating in that short of a distance. So, the first thing I did the next day was to take it for a test drive (starting out fresh while it was still cold). It overheated off the charts within 10 blocks, red-line overheating. I immediately called the mechanic while letting the car cool down. It was the same guy who had sold me on the repairs (KJ **) and also the same guy that rushed it out the door. When I told him it was overheating, he sounded like he was trying to sound surprised. He was not sincere at all, very forced. He said, Oh really, thats weird. Then, he told me to let it cool down, take it back, and they would take care of it, and that they must have missed something. He said, You know, sometime things get overlooked. Being in a technical trade, I told him I understood (which I did, things happen). I asked him specifically: I have no money left. I just gave you guys 3000 dollars. I do not have. This will not cost me anything correct? He said yes. Once again, I repeated myself and made him repeat the same affirmative answer. I always cover my bases when there is a large amount of money on the line. The car was with them for several days, and I did not hear a word. They did not call me once. I kept calling. All KJ ** would tell me was that they were running a block test to see if it passed. He told me it passed one day, then it failed the next, and back and forth on 4 separate occasions. He said: It failed hot, so were going to let it cool down over night and test it again in the morning. It failed cold so were letting it run. Its been running for hours so it must be fixed (which is obviously a flat out lie, since it could not make it 10 blocks). It passed hot, and so on, going back and forth. He gave me no real answers and becoming less and less honest. This is the test they guaranteed me my car had passed initially before all of these repairs. And this was the whole reason it would be worth it to put $3020 into my 2000 Buick that is only worth $4000 or so.After four or five days total, KJ ** put me on hold for the first time. Then, someone named Nick (who refused to give me his last name when I called) got on the phone. He started listing off the things that needed to be repaired. I said, Thats great, but this is obviously not going to cost me anything extra right? He told me that since it failed the block test, it needed x done (head gasket I believe, along with some other things). And he told me that since that was not what they did initially, it would not be under warranty. Then, he started listing off things that were $400 to $500 a piece, which is where I cut him off. My response was (expletive deleted): Are you ** kidding me? You sell me on a 3000 dollar repair, guarantee me that the thing that is now broken is not broken and that’s the good news. You guarantee me an end result of a working car. But as soon as it drives off the lot, it cannot drive a mile. In addition to that, it broke in your possession due to being rushed or bad repair work, misdiagnosed, or whatever. Now you want more money?!I was obviously quite upset. He kept telling me the same not our problem type responses (that is not an actual quote, however everything else in this report is almost word for word). I told him I was going to call my lawyer. And I told them that I expect them to provide the service they charged me 3000 dollars for, and that was a working car. I told him I would call him back the next day. I immediately looked up everything I would need should they not honor the service they charged me for: this website (the BBB), the State Attorney General, King 5 news Scam Watch series, etc. I also found around 50 reviews online from other unhappy customers that claimed they had done the same thing to them (overcharged etc). Most of them were oil changes that ended up being hundreds. But a few of them were 2000 to 3000 dollar charges that were in the same or similar situations I was, except most of them at least had a working car to show for it!When I called the next day, the uncooperative Nick picked up the phone. I told him he had a day to think about the situation, and asked him if he had decided to do right by his customer. He continued the same not our problem responses. At that point is when I informed him I had legal counsel and that I would be filing with the BBB, State Attorney General, the credit card company, and have them featured on the news. I also told him that I would be taking him to court if they refused to provide the service that they had charged me for. He said, Lets go to court. One thing I find interesting is that when I was referring to my and KJ **s earlier conversation, he said yea that was me when I was quoting KJ **. He told me that I had talked to him. I never talked to him until they decided to try to get more money out of me. I pay very close attention to that type of thing in these situations. There are only 3 different employees I have ever spoken with there (Nick, Ken and KJ). KJ ** was new to me with this repair job. They dont even sound the same on the phone. KJ ** has a pretty noticeable accent, so this immediately jumped out at me as a complete lie. He was obviously trying to add credibility to his argument. Because if it was him I had been talking to, then he could argue about what had been said, and attempt to twist the end result. So, I am now filing this with you along with every other place I mentioned above. Thank you for your help. I just wanted my car fixed for the $3020 (less would have been better, but I was willing to pay it to have my car back and working). And I gave them countless opportunities to finish the job for the agreed upon price, all of which they refused. So now I am asking for my money back. I have been unable to work 2 weeks now due to being lied to, defrauded, sold a scam, and ripped off. I am an on-site computer technician and have to be able to get to a job site within 30 minutes, which is almost impossible in Seattle on public transit. Thank you for your assistance.
My 2015 Buick Encores engine blew at 40,000 miles on Christmas eve. It is all under warranty. Theyre replacing the engine and that took a few weeks for the Buick dealer to get because there were problems getting the correct engine from GM. Then, when they installed it, it had a wrong part. The dealer had been trying to get that part from GM for weeks but no idea when they will get it. The dealer asked me to help by calling Buick Customer Service to escalate the problem of getting parts to the dealer. I have left messages every other day for over a week now and twice requesting a Supervisor but I still havent received a response from Buick. My car has been at the dealer a month and a half now, I have no car, no loaner, and still no response from Buick customer care. I recommend choosing a car made by a different company because what good is a warranty when they cant get parts to fix your car and nobody cares enough to return a phone call. Not a good company.
I just noticed the dash coming loose from the window in front of the drivers seat. I went online and found there have many complaints of the same problem. There is a concern of the air bags deploying. Besides it is very unsightly. I love my Buick and would buy another one if I needed another vehicle. Apparently Gm is not interested in keeping their customers. Other Buick owners feel the same as myself. Would really like situation rectified.
I purchased a 2019 Buick Enclave $32,000 in March 2020. My vehicle has now been in the shop for 5 months with airbag problems and Buick can not give me a date of when the part will be shipped and my car repaired. Every week the advisor said she can not give a date and no updates. I have only driven my new car for four months, Im still making the high payments, paying the insurance etc. I ask them to buy the car back and they refused. I would never recommend Buick and they do not care about their customers.
Buick offers a wide variety of sedans and suv like vehicles. They are all very luxurious and they ride very smooth. My Regal has a turbocharger that keeps the engine rpm really low. I love that my car can climb my hill ridden terrain and still get phenomenal gas mileage. The car has a wonderful sound system and Bluetooth connectivity, too. Also, the car is extremely roomy. I can fit four adults rather comfortably in back seat of the car and I love the dual climate control up front because my wife is always cold and I cant stand having the heat blow on my face. They are a very high quality vehicle manufacturer. I would recommend them to anyone.
I have owned my Rainier for 4 1/12 years and have recently had issues with the air suspension system. As I drive or when it’s parked, the vehicles rear end drops, which causes headaches and stomach pain from the bouncing around as I drive. I have researched this issue and found numerous complaints with the same issue. I have taken very good care of the vehicle, and feel that Buick/GM should cover the costs of the repair, since this is a default/defect in the manufacturing of the vehicle and no fault of my own. I am paying a 450.00 monthly car payment that I feel is a LEMON, and I am very frustrated, embarrassed, and dismayed.
2010 buick enclave - After just 4 and a half years, the paint on the heater knobs are chipping off. I take extra care of my car, and for this to happen after the warranty expires is disappointing. The peeling paint on the dashboard buttons makes my $48,000 car look cheap. Oh wait, it is cheap. Buick Dealership cant fix this and have basically told me too bad. I will not buy another Buick product.
The cars come in so many different material types, big, small and different colors, its just amazing. The different models in this brand of car come in different years which means that one car may have this one thing in it but a newer model may have something better than the other ones. The car brand is very nice and up to date, too. They have the feel of a luxury car with a price you can afford. The insides are very easy to keep up with and to keep the Car clean as well. This is a family car. It can hold up to five people which is perfect for the average family nowadays. It also has great trunk space for those big shopping trips that you take.
I have a 2012 Verano. Paint started coming off hood. It has never been parked under trees. Now paint on roof and top of truck is all faded. The sides are starting to look the same. Out of my bumper to bumper warranty 3000 miles ago. It has to be defective paint. GM is going to look at it they said.
There were so much variety to pick from it took me a little to go through. Love the selection of vehicles. The appearance is just awesome and very sporty looking. There are so many upgrade features and you have so many options to personal features. Love every feature offering. The passenger capacity is very spacious with lots of leg room, plenty of armrest, and no feeling cooped up in a vehicle to where it is uncomfortable. Its comfortable all around. Its just an awesome company all around and Id recommend to anyone.
Have had lots of trouble with the Lacrosse. It only has 55,000 miles and Im the second owner. Already replaced a catalytic converter (thankfully under emissions warranty) and also another module. Car now sounds loud when accelerating. Also seems sluggish at times. The check engine light does not come on now though. Very disappointed with this vehicle. It looks very nice but all that doesnt matter if it acts up a lot. Never had a vehicle give me so much trouble at such low mileage. How can you make car payment and pay for repairs?
I purchased my 2021 Buick Encore on 7/29/21 with only a few miles on it. In less than 2 months, I have paint chipping off the hood of the vehicle. I went to the dealership who said that it must be rocks or maybe I hit something. I drove the same route to and from work for the last 3 years in my previous vehicle, a BMW 328i and never had problems like this. Also the last area that has begun chipping off started after the Encore was washed and while I was wiping the water off with a soft towel. The paint just began chipping off. The dealership stated to me on 9/22/21 that they werent sure if it would be covered under the warranty. Unbelievable! I chose to purchase a GM product due to my dad being a retired GM employee and my sister a 36-year employee of GM. If they do not do something about this issue, I will never purchase another GM product.
I have had nothing but trouble with my 2009 Buick Enclave. The water pump went out and the power steering pump went out. The fuel pump is now going out. Everyone I get gas it wont start. The front struts went out. The air bags in the front has only worked part time. The timing is off. Its like it has been one problem after another. I have paid so much out in repairs and still have more repairs to do on it. It keeps throwing more and more codes every time I drive it. I cant seem to get rid of it because of all the repairs still needed and I cant get it paid down because Im spending too much for repairs. At this time I owe twice what the car is worth due to the condition it is in. I Will Never Ever Buy Another Buick.
While driving to work in a 2013 Buick Lacrosse, check engine light popped on then all lights went off, car went off. There was absolutely no power anywhere. No Radio, no light, no cell, no anything. These cars has to have a factory recall. When this car stopped, a serious accident could have happened. Gm needs to fix this problem. A class action suit is on its way!!!
This car has a very distinct style. It has a sleek design, more air resistant and aerodynamic. The vehicle has custom rims and wheels. Has a navigation built into it. It has factory tint on all the window. The rearview mirror is also tinted so in the night time you do not get the glare from other vehicles. This vehicle is very roomy. There is a lot of leg room in the front and the rear fits two adults and one child giving plenty of leg room even in the back. Best vehicle I ever bought.
Paint is worn off in 4 spots on my 2017 Buick Enclave. Not stone chips, but 2 sections of paint missing. I have pictures of another Enclave in for service at the dealership that has paint missing in the same exact spots. Buick wont cover this, saying that its because we drive it on a dirt road. So, buyer beware... If you live on or drive on a dirt road - BUICKS ARE NOT TO BE DRIVEN ON DIRT... DO NOT BUY ONE. (Our Chevy Cruze and 2 different GMC Acadias that had 75,000 miles on it never had any paint missing.)
I love the Enclave! It’s classy and spacious. I am not a huge fan of the navigation I find it outdated and dinosaur like. But overall I love it. The three row seating is ideal. The sun roof is perfect and has a screen. Heating and cooling could not be any better especially the seats.
I own a 2013 Buick Verano. It is garaged and it only has 22.000 miles on it. The clear coat on the hood and roof is dingy and almost not shiny at all. I was in a parking lot the other day and took a pic of a Buick Verano with the same problem! Has anyone else complained about this?
My Buick has great passenger room and trunk space. I had ample room to get laid and you could easily fit 4 bodies in the trunk and plenty of leg room also. Wasnt a fan on the bench seat. It had the premium stereo, the acoustics were great. I was surprised at how good it sounded and liked it. It was great. I ended up with the Buick as the result of necessity. I didnt seek it out thinking it would help me score some tale. I didnt personalize anything. I suppose I couldve gone to a dealership and seen if there was any way we could help make the car not look like it was owned by someone named Gladys. They only make a few and I would like for Buick to make a real comeback. They are a high end automaker who has watched their sales dwindle for years. Its time for a rebirth.
I have a 2012 Lacrosse that has just over 29K Miles on it. Transmission jerks hard as I am at normal speed cruising. I have duplicated for a Dealer and told that it is Normal for my transmission to jerk. These problems started around 2000 miles on the car, I bought it brand new with only 41 miles on it. I have driven 2 other 2012 Lacrosses and no jerk, a 2013, a 2014 and just today a 2015 and no jerk. It is the car and this is just the start of problems. I just had a mechanic from a totally independent shop to ride in my car tonight and he felt the jerking. He feels that there are transmission problems and I was told by several mechanics that a jerk that can be felt so strongly is not normal. I will never own another GM vehicle in all my days. This will be the last one.
I purchased a 2010 Buick Enclave CXL. This car is the most unreliable car I have ever owned by FAR. The steering column has been replaced twice, the car has leaked water into the passengers side cabin, and then the car leaked water again due to the sunroof rails and caused my Bose amplifier ($1000 to replace) to burn up. Today the wave plate for the transmission is gone ($3500) replacement. Apparently the wave plate is a consistent issue with any of the GM products but they have refused a recall. Also, the air conditioner will now blow in all vents except for the front blowers. Apparently an evaporator issue. I will never purchase a GM product again. It doesnt matter how beautiful a car is if you cant drive it because it is always in for repair. The scary and irresponsible fact is that the steering column and wave plate issues are very dangerous for the families driving the car. GM should take responsibility for their faulty parts and recall both. I contacted three different people at GM to discuss the steering column issue and they stated that because I didnt purchase the vehicle brand new that they wouldnt assist me. The car had 68000 miles on it when I bought it. I contacted them with 69,000 miles.
There are many different varieties that Buick offers. The features that this brand brings is absolutely outstanding. The blind spot is a very good help to me. I could not believe how well the features are still working as if I had just bought the car from the dealership this day. This brands passenger capacity is tremendous. I truly recommend it towards anyone who loves a nice comfortable, smooth car and for parents who have kids because it is very well with space. There is also enough space for fitting a lot of things in the car.
I bought a 1995 Buick Regal Custom with a 145000 on it from my neighbor. It was his granddaughters. A few people owned it before her. I guess they never used the locks. I used the remote to lock and unlock the doors. After a few weeks I was locked out of my car. It kept making a clicking sound. The key would not even unlock it then. This went on for an hour before I could finally open the door. Then after that on another day my husband, my 5 yr old grandson and myself pulled into our driveway I hit the lock button in the car to unlock the doors so we could exit the vehicle. No such luck. The clicking noise started again. We sat in the car for an hour, still could not get out of the vehicle. I called my son who lives 20 minutes away, we drove to his house listening to the clicking in the doors all the way to his house. After we arrived we still could not exit the car until he disconnected the auto lock. After that, I figured everything was good to go. Guess what, I locked the drivers side door manually, my husband locked his door the front passenger door manually and I locked the back doors manually. When we made it back home we could not get out of the car. We manually unlocked our front doors but they were not unlocked. I had to take my door key, put it in the lock on the outside of door and unlock it while I was still sitting in the drivers seat. After I got out of the car I had to unlock the passenger door. The back doors unlock from the inside but not the front doors. I had called Buick. A Foreigner told me since I bought the car used and for how old it is, she could not help me. That it was not under warranty. I told her if I ever get stuck in this vehicle from a wreck, fire, etc. There will be a big lawsuit. I have never in my life had a car that would lock me out of it or in it. I never lock the doors while I am in it. But when I park it at home or out shopping I lock the doors. This car should of been recalled years ago. Is there someone that can help me with this problem.
After driving a Mustang convertible for several years, it was time to change to a car better fitted for the winters in the Pacific Northwest. The Encore AWD was the perfect fit for me and made my family feel better about my safety. I love it all year round. Also very stylish for a small SUV. Also love the color.
At 76k miles, the radiator is faulty. The transmission fluid mixed with engine coolant. The radiator, all hoses, and lower intake manifold gaskets had to be replaced. The cost was $1500 and that was with discount. Also, the oxygen sensor had to be replaced (separate issue). The car is rusting and the paint is peeling off. Whats really scary is that I had minimal indication of the radiator problem, no warning lights/check engine light went on. I just discovered fluid leaking on my driveway. The engine wasnt running bad. But had I not acted quickly, within another hundred miles my engine would have blown up had the fluid got in it. This is ridiculous for a car with only 76k miles on it. I paid almost $20k for this car. I used it in December 2005 and have only put 50k miles on it! I will never buy another GM car again, ever! Its sad too because my dad retired from GM. Next time, I am buying Japanese.
I was very happy with my purchase of my Buick. It has a variety features that were pleasing to me. Great mileage, interior, tires and great on gas. The Buick was a blue color, four door car, great rims, black interior leather with great stereo and speaker system, not loud, or clanky, no rust. Overall a great lasting car. Its upgrade included the very best of technology, everything is computerized and functions at its best at all given times. At least six passengers can ride in my vehicle. We all fit nice and comfortable and have enough seat room and seat belts for every passenger.
