I purchased a 2015 Nissan Rogue in January. This summer when I traveled a period of time (about 45 mins.) the a/c would stop cooling. After having it checked by my dealer/service I was told thats normal since it is how the car gets better mpg. The only way I can keep cool on long drives is to turn off the a/c when it stops cooling, wait a period of time and let the a/c reset then turn the a/c back on. This in my opinion is a very poor design and should be redesigned.

Had key made a remote to open doors. Cost approx $250, including $60 labor. With appointment, took over 2 hours. After going home, realized remote would not open drivers door. Went back to resolve and was told there was an issue with the lock of the drivers door and would cost in excess of $500 to repair. Should have been advised this before leaving with the remote. I was advised they would refund the remote, but not the labor fee. UNHAPPY with the customer service with no satisfaction. I had to go back and spend more of my time to try to rectify a problem that should have been addressed when I left with the remote. Stefan ** told me they are currently going through lots of changes, new computers, new phones, etc. Not my problem. Take care of my situation and refund labor or meet me halfway. Sorry was his response. True, they are SORRY.

We regret dealing with and purchasing from this particular dealership. Our sales guy (AM) was fantastic. Knowledgeable, genuine, got us a deal. 5 stars for him. We do also like the Nissan brand. But the second you hand over the money, customer service stops abruptly and completely. Total breakdown. Something is always wrong or forgotten, every single time. Received a vehicle with no spare tire, broken windshield and peeled off window tint (and some other minor stuff). Now you may think ok, nbd, theyll fix it. Thats what we thought when we accepted the vehicle with deficiencies. And we thought that because thats what they said they would do. But they wont. We have been trying since May 10th....yes, almost 3 months. 3 months of ignored phone calls, not returning messages, having to go in numerous times to see them in person and we are no closer to having any of our concerns addressed.Id advise caution against Mark **, the finance manager. He is dishonest, disorganized and has given us false assurities many times. Him we regret dealing with the most. Id avoid dealing with Austin **, one of the managers. Same thing. Speaking with him can best be described as a complete waste of time. We have decided that we will no longer chase after them. Cant keep wasting time calling and driving over constantly. Weve lodged a complaint with Nissan Canada and BBB so hopefully something comes of that. We will fix the deficiencies elsewhere and pay for it, even though it was threatened that doing that will void our warranty. They love to hold you hostage. Long read, but hopefully it will save somebody from making the same mistakes we did. *If you refer to them, they dont actually pay a referral fee as advertised. That is a false advertisement.

Purchased a 2013 used Nissan in August 2019. By May 2021 paint started chipping and can now easily peeled off. While driving on the highway, multiple chips of paint hit the windshield - also above windshield and on door and trunk. AWFUL paint job! DAddario Nissan or corporate will not take care of it. I wish I could attach photos to really do it justice.

Im so mad. I bought a used Nissan 2005. Never got told the transmission was rebuilt just a few years ago. The car is giving me nothing but problems. Its one thing after another. I have only had my car since January. Took me till April to get it running. Now its broken down in my yard and I cant use it. Nissan needs to do recalls because my electrical is screwed, oil is everywhere and the car stalls and dies or wont start so much I want to scream... Anyone need a parts car in NH. Put 1500 into the car but cant continue to do it. Its an awesome car when it runs and just when you think it wont stall it does in the middle of a rotary on a main strip.

Im in the process of purchasing a used 2004 Nissan Maxima. I have not had the vehicle for thirty days. It needed a wheel alignment in which the dealer said he did. The car jerks when changing gears from reverse to drive. It slips backward a little. The check engine soon light came on for three (3) days, then went off. Right now, the only money, I spent at this time is the down payment. What is my legal recourse regarding State lemon laws and/or the Uniform Commercial Code? I have not registered the vehicle in my name as of yet. However, it is due by October 26, 2013. I thought Nissan was a reliable and dependable vehicle, with my experiences and the numerous complaints, I see it is not. Consumer Affairs: This is a dangerous situation and why are you asking us to file a complaint if you are not going to force Nissan to do a recall or fix these consumers vehicles? The complaints are so similar in nature and what are you doing! Does someone have to be killed or badly injured before you force Nissan to do what is legally the right thing to do? Right now, my confidence level is not high at all for Nissan or Consumer Affairs. We are hard working individuals and cannot afford these repairs and car payments. The consumers are counting on you to force Nissan to be liable for these defects.

First time purchase of a loan/lease. Signed a lease with loan prices ($337 month). Total purchase price 2015 Rogue $34,000. Error was noticed by purchaser same day at dealership. When brought to attention of dealer, more or less too bad. All they had to do was tear up the lease form and attach correct monthly price to a lease $134 month. $14,000 to purchase at end of lease or the proper monthly payment, $337 month with the last payment, vehicle is mine... maybe 10 mins of their time on paperwork. Instead of 23 months trying (by me) to get the thing correct. Notified every agency of the error including THE WHITE HOUSE with no luck. Money hungry (Nissan) outfit. Matter went to court March 2017. It is still undecided.

Amazing when you trust in a brand new car and a reputable name. 3 months ago, we purchased a brand new Nissan Rogue loaded with all the goodies. Then what we thought was a minor Bluetooth/phone problem began. When the person on the other end of the phone talks to the driver (or synced passenger) a nice high pitched whine comes across the phone. This is not heard by the driver connected to the Rogue, this is heard by everyone talking to the driver. A very annoying problem that you would think the dealer and manufacturer would repair or replace. Not, not, not. The normal answers by the dealer - manufacturers problem so start a case. Started a case and Nissan denies the case.Everyone says this has happened before and the engineers are hard at work. WOW So my advice to consumers is to be careful with purchasing a NISSAN vehicle and if you do, check out the hands free phone from both ends. If you hear a high pitched whine - run away. Very sad that this company does not stand behind their products. +$30,000 NEW CAR WITH NO SUPPORT!!!

Bought Rogue in April of 2011. It is a 2011 model. Car was BRAND NEW! Approx. 8-12 months later, noticed transmission making high-pitched whining sound. Call Nissan, Norwich, CT where I had purchased vehicle. Was told that the noise was normal for the CVT transmission. So I didnt worry about it after that. Finally in May of 2014, I really thought the transmission wasnt right. I brought it in and paid Norwich Nissan 116.00 diagnostic fee. Was given invoice/statement saying that the transmission had been checked and that no problems were found and that no service needed. Then in November, my transmission suddenly stopped working, and I barely made it home. I was furious! I took it to a local trusted mechanic and he told me the transmission was shot and had been going for a long time! I contacted Nissan Corporate Consumer Affairs and it took over a month of phone calls back and forth for them to finally tell me that that would claim no responsibility because the car was too far out of warranty (82,000 miles). When I first asked Nissan about the car, it probably only had about 24,000 on it. Then in May when they checked the transmission, it had 70,000 miles. I did some research and found several other customers whose transmission had died around 70 - 72,000 miles just like mine. DON’T TRUST NISSAN......VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IF THEY KNOW YOURE RIGHT! I will continue to seek legal action against this company. In the meantime, Ive bought a Mazda, so far very happy with. Am in the process of trying to sell my 30,000 dollar Rogue (now worth about $6,000 without a transmission!).

I bought a used Nissan Rogue in May 2015. I had it for 2 months when, leaving my subdivision, it began to roll backward for no reason, and I had no control over it. It nearly went into a watery ditch. I tried to dismiss it when I was able to get it started again, but I was very concerned. It had just barely not missed that ditch! Then, last night I was returning from Charleston, SC and in Columbia, SC and as there was work being done on I-26, a major highway, cars were being led in every lane VERY SLOWLY by highway patrolmen, one per lane. This meant that all cars were continuously putting on brakes every few seconds. After a few attempts to put on my brakes, I began to feel that the brakes were no longer under my control, as they werent holding properly. The car then began to go backwards again, this in the middle of hundreds of cars and 18-wheeler trucks crawling at a snails pace. I was terrified as I could not control the car, and I still dont know how I avoided hitting those behind me. I suppose they were just fortunate somehow to get around me. I put my foot on the brake, but that did nothing. I then pushed the emergency brake down and had to hold down that as well. I was in the center lane in all that traffic. I had lost my cell phone, so I didnt have that. I was beginning to get hysterical. I opened the drivers door (the window wouldnt roll down at that point), flailing my hands and blowing the horn. Id already put on the emergency lights. No one helped until about 15 minutes of this, with people screaming at me. Finally a young man (God bless him!) stopped in front of me and told me he would get a highway patrolman to help. The patrolman soon arrived and told me I had to get the car removed from all the bottled traffic I was in! He then told me to put the car in neutral and then turn on the switch. In tears I told him I was afraid to take my feet off the two brakes. However, I did as he said, and the car then started forward. He told me he would hold back the mass of cars so that I could get into the slow lane. He said I would have to get back to Greenville, about 90 miles away, the best way I could. This caused me to get off onto a road in downtown Columbia, with which I wasnt at all familiar. After driving around, I stopped at a McDonalds where a worker told me how to get back on I-26. I had to drive slowly and carefully back home. This happened last night, January 13, 2016. I had previously made an appointment for January 21 to have Greer Nissan check out the car after the previous problem in my subdivision as someone there told me it may be the drive train. I had to get it to a dealership before 60, 000 miles as my extended warranty declared. When I got back home, this morning I called AAA to tow the car to the dealership as I was just 20 miles short of 60,000 miles. Well, the dealership has had it today and can find nothing wrong with it. Theyve driven it several times, and checked it out but have come up with nothing. (REALLY?) I told them SOMETHING is terribly wrong, so they agreed to keep it until tomorrow. After reading all the previous complaints about Nissan automobiles, I know I have a lemon, and I now call it the Death Car. I am afraid to drive it. I am a widow on a very limited income, so theres no extra money to put into that car. God, please help me!

I purchased a Nissan Xterra from Team Nissan of Marietta, Ga on 11/10/2011. The sales officer gave me prices of the available models. He misled me in prices several times on phone that resulted in early sales of my Xterra in possession and prompted me to buy on emergency basis. Apart from this, he gave me misleading information and avoid disclosure responsibility as he mentioned that only shortcoming in the vehicle. I was buying Nissan Xterra S model against X model, that one has alloy wheel, automatic outside mirrors and hard wood in trunk. And the one I was buying had missing these 3 features. Plus I would save $2000.I purchased the vehicle and I found out the next day while I was driving to the church with my wife that it did not have the main necessity like inside lights on drivers side, and the mirror on the passengers side. We are senior citizens, I dropped my hearing aid one time and denture on another time, and tried to turn on the light to find and there was no light. I had to pull on side to find them. I complained the next day and they did not entertain me and said the sale has already been reported to Nissans main office.I complained but Nissan North America did not respond. I also participated several times in surveys and as of this date they have not responded yet. I am experiencing hardship which will continue till I own this vehicle. Now finally I am trying to complain to watch dog agencies, BBB and good governance and fair trade, and still if Nissan would not address this, I would report through media.

I purchased my car about 6 months ago, a Nissan Versa 4-door sedan. My car ran fine up until I went in for scheduled maintenance and the dealer did a CVT reprogram. Now it is vibrating most of the time when idle. It was shaking so bad at one point that I can feel the vibration in my leg when my foot is on the break. Also on my hand when it is on the steering wheel. I only have around 38 k miles on this car. Prior to this update, I was really impressed at how my car performed almost like it was new. Now I am scared and very disappointed to say the least.

2013 Nissan Rogue CVT transmission, The vehicle loses power due to transmission overheating. Going at a rate of speed over 60 MPH on the interstate in heavy traffic and completely losing power is very dangerous. I have contacted Nissan consumer affairs with this complaint and after a review they are willing to cover 50% of the cost to place a cooler in the transmission. I did purchase the extended warranty for this vehicle but because this is not an original part the warranty will not cover the cooler. Nissan has had many many complaints with this same issue but still only willing to cover half the cost to repair. If Nissan requires this additional part on the vehicle in order for the valve cover to be replaced because of the overheating, then they should cover 100% of the cost!!! I am very dissatisfied with this vehicle and Nissan. This is a very dangerous problem with the vehicle. Its a problem Nissan should fix especially with all the complaints they are getting with this particular CVT transmission. I am very shocked and disappointed with Nissan for not fixing this problem.

Buyers beware! I am so extremely disappointed and frustrated with this company who refuses to help their customers in order to make some extra money in their pocket. They have unethical billing practices. I not only leased two vehicles from them but have only been a customer for less than 2 months and regret ever going into business with them. I have been on the phone with so many of their reps and supervisors, people feeding me different ** and after more time, stress and headache, never getting to an actual solution, but rather the way they would have it, money for them and an unhappy customer. This company is known for their terrible billing practices. Even the Mass Turnpike knew I had a Nissan without me giving any personal account information because this is what Nissan does. Thats a good reputation you’ve built for yourself Nissan. I hope I can help the next potential buyer so that when they read this, they go get a Honda instead. Trust me, you will regret getting into business with this company. I am seriously looking into getting a lawyer about this because this is just wrong. I made it so easy for them to resolve the issue, but they keep coming back with ridiculous reasons for why they cannot do that. If I was with another dealer, this would not even be an issue I would have to be resolving.

I had to go through the Philippines Call Center for about 3 weeks - back and forth - over 15 calls. This was only to find out that it had to be handled through the United States. At that point getting in contact with my Nissan representative was extremely difficult. I still have an open issue and will keep posting on social media until this is resolved. Such a poor system. I really believe we are doomed as a society after this experience. It started when the dealership in CT (Crowley Nissan) failed to provide me with a rental car after communicating to me twice that I could receive a rental car.I am a small business owner that works with the disabled and it nearly knocked my business out. I am very dissatisfied (obviously). They have already wasted my time that I wont get back - but I am still trying to get them to compensate for the rental car. I could take this into litigation - which I have made them aware of - but I am trying to mediate and be fair here. If anyone has any email addresses for upper to senior management for Nissan North America - or even beyond - please let me know.

I highly discourage anyone from purchasing the maintenance plan with Nissan. You are better off setting aside a few dollars in savings toward maintenance. I wanted peace of mind but have found it difficult to get anything covered. I have had two tire issues with a 1-year-old car. First time I had to jump through hoops to get a new tire. The second time I had a complete blowout that shredded my tire and damaged my wheel. I have never experienced this and they refused to cover it by saying I hit a curb when there was a large nail clearly embedded in the sidewall. I acknowledge I probably did hit the curb... after the fact. A complete blowout of a tire is very scary. Bottom line... not worth it!!!

This vehicle has been the best model that we have ever purchased. It is a 2003 model, but we have never had to have any major work done. The dealership had a reputation of honesty. The vehicle had a good look and when we test drove it, it drove so smoothly. We took it on back roads to try how it handled on curves and small potholes. While driving down the highway, a tire started to deflate. I called the dealership and let them know it was deflating for unknown reasons and they said even though I hadnt purchased the tire warranty that they would patch it and I would have no issues. So I brought it in and with one look they said they wouldnt patch it and I had to buy a replacement because it showed wear on the sidewall. Which it didnt have wear, the dirt was just not as noticeable after being almost flat for an eighth of a mile until I could pull off the highway to put the donut on. It cost me $290, as the rest of the vehicle is under warranty I didnt want to risk any interference of that by having 3rd party work done on it. But even under manufacturers standards it is covered since the tread wear is 1/32 off of brand new and there was only 8000 miles on the car. Their consumer affairs dept. called me back and basically said since I didnt pay extra for a warranty on the tires of the brand new vehicle that there was nothing they would do. But yet the tire they put on to replace automatically had a warranty. Am I the only one baffled by this logic? I will never buy another Nissan ever. They are rude and condescending and awful at listening and helping the people paying for their salary.

2012 Nissan Versa with just over 81,000 miles. Took it to a local shop and they said the transmission is toast. Local dealer charged 0 dollars to analyze and realize the transmission is no good. Since the repair of $4.0K will cost more than the value of the car, Im going to junk it and try to get as much money back on the $16K that I paid. I cant believe that a car that is not even 5 years old has a transmission failure! Now that I have done some online research, I am seeing that this is a rather common event for the 2012 Nissan Versa. I purchased a New 2016 Nissan Rogue with 3 miles on it on December 13, 2017 from Clay Cooley Nissan in Irving Tx, 3-4 months into the purchase I start having an issue. While driving the O/D light comes on by itself, the RPMs rise, the car revs high and drives rough. I have read it is a possible transmission or computer problem. I have taken the car to the original dealership of purchase and another one to get checked out. They both claim they have driven the car, hooked it up to their machines and dont see the error. But as soon as I get the car back the issue repeats itself. They told me I need to bring the car to them when it happens which is hard because it happens at random on my way to work, school, and other daily activities. The dealerships are either too far to make it or outside of normal business hours.I complained and reached the sales manager J **. He prompted me to come down and they would trade me out of the vehicle into a new one and keep my payments the same! A complete LIE, I get there and they pump me up, “This is going to be painless. We will get you in & out,” and start asking me for a money for a down payment and try and put me in an Altima which is not what I purchased originally. After getting upset, I leave in the same messed up car. NO HELP. Just a full tank of gas and one of the managers says, “Well the car still drives so just keep driving it and when the error happens switch the gear. Itll go off.” So he wants me to pay for a car that is clearly giving me trouble and just drive it and jerk it around and keep rolling! Then says drop it off at service when I just picked the car up. How many times do I have to leave the car and be without a car to drive? I am disgusted and disappointed by the service I have received. This was my first time treating myself to a NEW car and it was a complete mistake. I hate Nissan. The car still has the issue, nothing resolved.

First of all, thank you for your time in reading my complaint. I am contacting you for help with my 2010 Nissan Sentra. I have been denied coverage on my car with my Nissan Extended Gold Preferred Plus Warranty, and I tried to appeal it through Nissan Consumer Affairs as well. I have exhausted all measures in getting my car repaired through Empire Nissan Lakewood. My Piston Rod went through the Block of my Engine on 6th Avenue. I had the oil changed on 1/17/2017, but that was not the cause to my Engine to blow. Shell Rapid Lube Oil keeps records of all service by Camera and has reviewed the complete service by tape on my car. They are willing to provide that information to legal counsel. My car was purchased on March of 2010. At that time, we purchased a Nissan Extended Gold Preferred Plus Warranty which is good until March 2017 of this year. My maintenance records for 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 were completed at Go Nissan Southwest which is now Larry Miller Nissan in Littleton, Colorado. 12/21/2014 I have records from Firestone that I had an oil change, new tires, and a battery purchase. Mileage on the car at that time was 27,089. 2/20/2015 I have records of all the service I had done at Empire Lakewood Nissan. I would like to point out at that time on page 3 it states I had a possible oil leak, and they resealed the oil pan under my Security Plus Warranty. On page 4 they stated I needed another oil change which is a requirement when repairing an oil pan, but failed to list they did the oil change and stated I declined it. They are stating it is an error they did not list it on my paperwork, and can’t tell me if the used my old oil since it was just changed 12/21/2014, or if they put in new oil. Clearly, a problem they will not address. Mileage on the car at that time was 27,949. Why would I decline an oil change? It should be procedure to change the oil be changes when you repair a leak in an oil pan. What oil did they use? How did they make this repair without completing an oil change? 1/17/2017 My record of oil change at Shell Rapid Lube. Mileage at that time 31,740. As you can see I have kept up with the maintenance on this car since purchase. I am self-employed, and work from and this is why the mileage is slow low on this car. Example: From 12/21/2014-2/20/2015 I put 860 miles on my car. From 2/20/2015-1/17/2017 I put 3,790 miles on my car. I have 2 tow bills which Nissan will not pay for, and I have been declined a rental car which both are included in my Extended Nissan Extended Plus Warranty. Since the purchase of my car in March of 2010 to date, and put an average of $4,535 miles on my car per year. Again, I have all records of maintenance, and oil changes for this car. I have filed complaints with the BBB of TN, BBB of Colorado, Nissan Consumer Affairs, and the Federal Trade Commission. My response from Nissan Extended Warranty Gold preferred is that they will not cover the rebuild of my Engine due to an after market oil change. Nissan is irresponsible, and dishonest. They do not back their cars, and sell warranties at the time of purchase that do not back their vehicles, and repairs. I have had a major mechanical problem with this car, and NISSAN SIMPLY PUT DOES NOT CARE.

We currently have a lease that we have been trying to buyout for a week. I originally got a payoff figure online which was good through 11/7/2011, had even called Nissan Finance and got the same figure with the same good through date. Unfortunately, you can not pay them off directly and they require you to go through the dealership. We have been trying to deal with Napoli Nissan of Milford. Originally, my husband called over a week ago asking for a payoff figure and they told him to come in, but dont come in on Saturday because its busy. Who says that. The Saturday they are referring to was last week 10/29. So, my husband calls in the beginning of the week, basically playing phone tag, leaving messages and not getting returned phone calls. I finally went there on Tuesday to try to get the information. So of course, they wanted to try to get me into a new lease and I told them I would entertain the idea but I need both figures. A final buyout figure and what the monthly payment would be for a new lease. By the time I left there, I left without either of the figures and got, I am going to have to deal with Nissan, its going to take me some time to get the numbers for you. Really, because Im sure if I said yes, they would have had the numbers right then and there. So when I left there, I thought about it and called literally within 5 minutes after leaving and asked for the payoff figure again. No return call. The next day, Wednesday, my husband called and we were given the run around, the woman that crunches the numbers is not here today. The next day, I email and call, get a return phone call with another run around, The manager is not in and needs to do the numbers. Well, if I wanted to buy a new car that day I guess I couldnt. Highly unlikely. Now, today, Friday I called again and got a return phone call. However, the new base payout figure is completely different than what I originally got from Nissan Finance. The reason being is the automated line that the dealership calls has already rolled over to a good through date of December 7. The payout figure I was supplied with was good through November 7. I told the salesperson this and they gave me the automated number to call and sure enough it rolled over to December. So, I called back, spoke with a representative and asked that they fax over to the dealership the payoff figure that is good through November 7. They indicated that they could do that but they needed my husband to call because he is on the account and I am not. Okay, so we do that and when my husband calls, they told him that they cant put it back to 11/7. Thats just odd to me, since that date hasnt even come and gone yet. Arent they a financial institution?

I bought a Nissan 370Z convertible 15 months ago with very low mileage. Just beyond the 36,000 mile mark, my convertible top experienced issues which needed to be addressed right away. I brought the car into the shop, they diagnosed the problem, and ordered the part which took 30 days to arrive and install. It was discovered that a second part was also faulty and needed fixing. Five weeks later, I am out $1,750 and still have no working part as we are waiting for the second part to arrive and be installed. The mechanic who was put in numerous hours trying to navigate through the issues flat out told me on three separate occasions to get rid of my Nissan vehicle as the craftsmanship is very poor and the electrical system is backwards (he was referring to Nissan in general). He also says working with Nissan Japan when ordering parts is a pretty painful experience as well - parts take forever. I can attest to this. So in short, I paid $12,000 more for a vehicle with a convertible top that barely made it past its warranty. This is the second Nissan convertible I have owned, and both had expensive electrical and convertible top issues. I can comfortably say that Nissan is the Walmart of the automotive industry. I look forward to turning away as many potential Nissan customers as possible in the future since so many ask me about my car.

I have owned my 2014 Nissan Rogue brand new. I have had nothing but problems with it. Transmission, breaks, electrical, navigation, tail hitch, seat belt covers, brake booster x3, mounts, struts the list goes on. I tried to claim lemon law several times and get denied. My vehicle has been falling apart since I got it and get zero support from Nissan! It is back in the shop for a failed brake booster and now they want me to pay for it! Dont buy a Nissan ROGUE ever!!!

We purchased a new NV200 within took weeks to have the shelves installed. Then the wrong shelves were installed. There was no roof racks, no sticker. Had to go back to have sticker put on. When I purchased it had 5 miles, picked up it had 137. It has been back in the shop 2 times for multiple days, even weeks for a repair that we are told they have no idea how to fix. I have been trying to contact Nissan Consumer Affairs. Left over 7 messages, only one return call while I was at a DR. so could not answer. This has been a nightmare and would really just appreciate Nissan standing behind their product and helping us out. Check engine light is back on and does not always start but they tell us they cant fix it.

Long post... So I purchased a car brand new this past June (less than 3 months ago) from Gunn Nissan in San Antonio’s. Regret #1, buying from Gunn Nissan - bad delivery of a new vehicle. Regret #2, buying a Nissan - I have a lemon and want Nissan to buy it back. This has been an awful few months as a Nissan owners. Two major issues... Delivery of my new vehicle and major mechanical issue.First of all - when I purchased the 2019 Nissan Armada platinum reserved brand new...there were deep scratches in the paint of the bumper and the bumper guard. I noticed this before driving off - shame on me for taking it then. A couple attempts at repairing it - photo attached of first repair when they had it for 24hrs and literally dabbed on some touch up paint (not very well) and left the bumper guard as is. It was finally painted in the body shop (yes, my brand new car) and it appeared that they sprayed bed liner on the bumper guard to cover those scratches. I was not happy with the repair but then again...there was nobody even there to ask how I felt or sign paperwork. I’m a busy person (single mom, 3 kids, multiple jobs and activities and it was not high on my priority list as it had already taken so much of my time. Shame on me again for not making a bigger fuss then).Oh - and it only came with one key and they had to locate floor mats and take from a different vehicle since they couldn’t find the ones that came with mine. I had to go back on a Friday when the person who could program a new car keys was in since they couldn’t locate the second key. I did ask by the way during this time to please just trade it in for a similarly equipped vehicle and the manager was happy to tell me that he’d give me blue book value... It was less than two weeks old at this point and already they had attempted the first cosmetic repair.Fast forward a couple months. Last week I got a message - BCI malfunction and it wouldn’t start. Eventually got it started while waiting for the tow truck and just a few minutes later I couldn’t get it out of park. Took it to dealership next morning. REPAIR #1 Thursday - dropped it off at 8am and picked it up around 2:30 pm that afternoon. They replaced the brake switch - didn’t make it a mile down the road when the same BCI malfunction light came on, turned around and took it right backREPAIR #2 - dropped it off Thursday afternoon around 2:30 pm picked it up Friday around noon. They replaced the brake sensor. Made it about 3 miles this time and the same message came on again... BCI malfunction. Called this time furious and they offered to pick up the car from my work. They pick up my car around 3pm and had it Friday, Saturday (their service dept is open all day Saturday), and Monday - I got a call on Monday around 3:45 which they left a voicemail because I was on the phone with Nissan USA regarding my case and replied to an email I had sent earlier that day checking on the status of repair. In the email and on the voicemail they clearly stated they had replaced the front end collision sensor and did the alignment for it, test drove the Armada and no lights came on. So it was ready but they said they would keep it until the next day (Tues) to drive it again just to be safe. I consider this to have been REPAIR #3 since it was the third part and attempt at repairing it.I emailed Tuesday afternoon thinking I would have had my car by now since the Monday test drive went well. The service advisor replied saying that it looks good and they were out test driving it and if it worked they’d bring it to me shortly. Got an email about an hour later saying they were going to order another part. So to me... REPAIR #4 attempt. I replied... So the light went off again huh and they said yes. Got an email Wed afternoon that part was in and replaced but they wanted to again keep it overnight to be safe. Thursday everything was still good and they delivered my Armada to me Thursday late morning. When they delivered the car the paperwork did not include repair #3 so I didn’t want to sign paperwork. I called the service advisor who told me they never replaced the front sensor even though I have an email and a voicemail stating that they did and it had been completed. He tells me it’s a miscommunication and I didn’t understand but nothing had been replaced. I reluctantly signed the paperwork but figured since I knew I had the voicemail & email as back up I would be good.Lemon law states that you must attempt the same repair 4 times to be considered a lemon. Am I crazy to think it’s a lemon or should I be happy that I don’t have the BCI malfunction message??? The fact that I have them caught in an outright lie is very concerning and shady. This is such an abbreviated version - if you’d like a longer version I have it typed up and ready to share with you - just message me.I could go on and on about how nobody returns calls as well but that’s all just petty I guess at this point and my main concern is a vehicle that is less than three months old with this many issues and the lack of response and deceitfulness of the dealership repairing it. Can’t get through to a manager or get a call returned on many occasions. Once you buy the car they could CARE LESS as soon as that paperwork is signed. I will say that I feel both my salesperson and service advisor were both very nice and just had their hands tied by Gunn management.

I find out at the end of October that the paperwork was not done and they say I am delinquent on my rogue. I have been going back and forth with the dealership and nissan corp for 2 months. They have destroyed mine and my wifes credit and it is December 29th and the problem is still going on. I will never buy a nissan again and I wish I could get rid of the one that I have now. If anybody needs a new vehicle I would not suggest 46 nissan or nissan corp at all.

I just paid my van off when I started having engine issues. At 120,000 codes read p1701 tcm wiring, p0746 pressure control solenoid, p1778 step motor, p0868 pressure control module. Is it the transmission? The mechanic doesnt want to touch it. Just wants to change the tranny. I can not afford this. I am single mom. Is there not someone that can rebuild them properly??? I bought a Nissan (2011 Quest) because I thought it would last longer. I have not driven the van in 6 months. Its a total loss if I spend the money and it happens again then I am putting good money after bad. Its not worth anything as a down payment if I have to tow it in. Has anyone got to the bottom of this???

I believe references shouldnt be contacted unless a payments missed, emergency, or to locate the whereabouts of the customer. Nissan Motor Acceptance is actually the billing department. My first payment isnt due for another 34 days! Nissan already sent a letter informing me of the billing department and online options to manage my account. My reference shouldnt have been contacted. A message shouldve been left on my phone allowing me time to contact them back. Im posting this cause people need to know what theyre getting into with Nissan. I have been a heavily vested customer of the Nissan Product since 2005, being a Army veteran I have learned that many decisions are made quickly without complete information. My first Nissan that I purchased was a New NISSAN 2005 Pathfinder, my second new purchase was a New 2008 Nissan Xterra, my third New vehicle was a 2009 Nissan Sentra (this purchase was co signed with my mother Terry ** - I still drive this Nissan today with over 100K miles ) and my fourth New Vehicle is a 2014 Nissan Sentra. I provided this information so that you can confirm that I have been a committed customer of your product and the reason I have stood by the Nissan product is due to not only the reliability, dependability and low maintenance of the Vehicles but more importantly we are a family on a fixed budget like many families and having a low maintenance cost vehicle is that more important to us. We live in the great hot state of Florida the city of Orlando and having an AC unit that works properly in our vehicle is a crucial component. Our 2014 Nissan only has 34,216 miles on it - yes it is outside of the warranty for the years but the mileage average is less than 10K a year and no one would expect the AC compressor to go bad with such low mileage in a Nissan Product, my 2009 Sentra still blows cold air with over 100K mileage. Up until now I have had no issues with any of the Four Nissan Vehicle that we have purchased and its shocking to me to have a major component go bad with only 34,000 miles driven. Yesterday I paid $160.39 to have the vehicle diagnosed and confirmed to have a bad compressor by my local Nissan dealership. I believe Nissan should really stand by their product and Recommend Goodwill and replace the bad unit free of charge to me for such an unusual circumstance.

Nissan lied to us about the extended service plan. Parts that were listed on the pamphlet they used to sell on the extended service plan were not actually covered under the plan. We have called Nissan Consumer Affairs, they dont care. Some of their representatives tell us the parts are covered, others tell us they arent. One of their representatives told me he would accept that listed parts arent covered, pay for them, and move on. That is what I suggest every Nissan owner should do. Move on to another car maker. Until you can get rid of your Nissan be honest when people ask if you would buy another, tell them no. Tell people you are not happy with Nissan. Explain and give examples to people of what Nissan does wrong. If Nissan wont listen, we must get everyone else to listen to us. Dont buy a Nissan.

Nissan quietly extended the warranty for the CVT (transmission) from 5 year
Nissan quietly extended the warranty for the CVT (transmission) from 5 years/60,000 miles to 10 years/120,000 because of all the problems people are having, everything from shaking to accelerating at stop signs. Its a genuine safety concern. My wifes 2008 Nissan Rogue has the same problem. We took it in for service and they replaced the transmission. However, theyre charging us $2,700 for a new transfer case, a transfer case thats included in the original powertrain warranty that connects to the transmission. The mechanic at Nissan of Bourne in Massachusetts tried to tell me the problem started with the transfer case and not the transmission. I find this hard to believe since Nissan is obviously having issues with the transmission, or else they wouldnt have had to extend the original warranty. There is no reason why Nissan should be charging customers for their own substandard parts. To replace the transmission but not the transfer case which is part of the transmission, is flat-out dishonest. Now well have to spend money we dont have because Nissan wont live up to its own warranty on parts they know are bad. There shouldve been a recall in the first place for safety reasons, but Nissan is trying to mitigate their losses at the expense of their customers. This is not right and it should be addressed.

After taking very good care of my 2008 Nissan Altima, I reached the end date of my lease and returned the car to the dealership from whom I took out the original lease agreement, Bridgewater Nissan in Bridgewater New Jersey. The dealer accepted my car and I moved on. Then, I received a letter from NMAC telling me that I owed Nissan $2,167.61! The letter stated that due to Excess Wear And Use, they were assessing me this fee. Now, so as to avoid the appearance of editorializing, heres a few facts on what really happened: 1) I was not present when the actual inspection was done; 2) I took great care of the car during the time I leased (e.g. always garaged) and I put 4 brand new tires on before I turned it in and 3) there is no way of knowing how NMAC arrived at the charges listed on the letter. The only conclusion one can draw is that (as others on this site have asserted), this is simply a way for Nissan to create new revenue streams during a time when American cars are in the ascendancy. So, lesson learned - from now on, I will only be buying/leasing vehicles from reputable sources such as Ford and GM and not from duplistic makers such as Nissan!

2 weeks ago I had a problem with my Nissan Sentra which I bought in 2015 brand new. The problem was about the transmission system. Whenever I drive my car I felt some noise at low speed and increase with speed increase. I reported the case to Nissan service centre in Sultanate of Oman Azaiba branch. After their diagnosis, they confirmed the transmission issue and informed me that they will send the report to insurance company as I had 5 years extended warranty. 2 days later I received a call from Nissan service saying to me that warranty didnt approve the repair and no realistic reason was provided to me. I was very upset how such company is playing with our trust. I now understand the meaning of cheap treatment and products offering. The people from the service centre looks to be trained more for sales than customer support. I am still waiting for Nissan to check what other option is available to fix my issue. But it looks that I will have to pay from my pocket. The next option I have is to file a case against them in court. My company policy is to buy a car every 160k or 4 years. I bought already 2 cars from Nissan and this one will be the last one for sure.

Ive had a 2016 Nissan Titan XD for the almost a year now and have enjoyed the truck, however, I was recently in an accident and was in need for parts. I have been waiting on parts for over 2 months now with no promise of getting my part any time soon. Upon talking to Nissan I got some rehearsed spiel about the backorder and was given no information on where the part is, why its been backordered over 2 months or when I would get it. I have been paying rental car fees for the last month out of pocket because the insurance coverage of a rental expired so everyday Im out more money because they cant produce the part I need. Ive driven a Nissan for the last 20 years and have been satisfied until this problem arose. Not being able to get the necessary parts makes me not that interested in driving Nissans if Im going to have to deal with this kind of issue anytime, God forbid, I would be in a wreck or some other problem comes up. So if youre thinking of buying a Nissan just beware that this issue could also become your issue.

I leased a brand new 2017.5 Nissan Rogue SV AWD Premium Package in July 201
I leased a brand new 2017.5 Nissan Rogue SV AWD Premium Package in July 2017. My vehicle traded was a 2015 Rogue (same model) I had hit my mileage on a year early. Not only was I pleased with my 15, but I spent 2 years as a Nissan employee, and I retain the Nissan Visa card. I would say Im a pretty good customer and supporter. In 6 months and 7k (now 8k) miles, my Rogue has had the radio/navigation system fully replaced! My Rogue has also been TOWED into the dealerships service department! I work nights. It was Christmas Eve. The car never made it to work. Of course, 3 days later after the holiday, the Rogue worked fine and the mechanics could not duplicate the issue. A diagnostic test showed a possible air flow problem... which I read about in another review... but they really have no idea. I am a single mom, on a check-check basis, and one reason I lease is to avoid maintenance! I cry all the time in my car. I am frustrated. Every time I start the Rogue I wonder what will happen next. I have lost confidence in this vehicle. I filed a claim with Consumer Affairs. I have received 2 emails from the gal stating she has tried to reach me multiple times by phone but I have no missed calls, voicemails, nothing, and the number(s) is saved in my phone. I have responded to these emails but then have not heard back from her. In the last week, I have called her DIRECT line 5x leaving my contact phone number 2x every message. I have gotten voicemail each time. Since December 26, 2017 I have called Nissan Consumer Affairs 8x. I should not have to be dealing with this regarding a vehicle purchased brand new not 7 months ago. Certain staff members at the dealership have been as helpful as they possibly can be but they have limitations which I understand. At least theyre on my side. Nissan seems to think this entire issue is a game. Its not. I live in Columbus, Ohio. We do not have major public transport opportunities. I cannot afford a chauffeur, I cannot afford taxi cabs or Uber. Nissan needs to step up.

I recently bought a Nissan Juke. My Cube had died at 260000 miles after it carried me through 7 of my 14 Caravan To Catch a killer tours for my daughter. It seemed I got a pretty good interest rate with Nissan finance. 3 days before the first payment was due March 13th I attempted to go online and was able to access the website. March 13th was my first payment since I bought the card January 28th but on March 12th it was telling me I was already past due one payment than that old 800 dollars. I still decided to try to play them and I knew was due. but when I tried to access the Bill Matrix every time I click on it it would not open. The next morning the 13th, I went on Nissan finances website and every time I click make a payment it kicked me off the website. Id sign back in, it kicked me out. Then I tried calling twice. First it said it couldnt find my account by my social security numbe. At first, it wouldnt take my account number then when it finally did, instead of giving payment options, it sent me to talk to somebody but people dont man phones on weekend and hung me up - ten-to-one it was sending me somewhere for being overdue which I wasnt. This was on the 12th and I didnt owe 2 payments. Finally last night I went on and got on the website and actually opened bill matrix. I needed an option putting it on the credit card and it listed discover as an option. I put in my account number and all the other information and click on choose payment, it only gave me the option of debit card or check... again possibly because it was saying I was past due which I wasnt.Today Monday, it is a day late. I have called 4 times and each time I was on hold for 33 minutes before I hung up. The last time I started at 515 Central Standard Time and was still on hold until 6 w. They closed their real life people at 7. Im right in the process of trying to push for a law here in Oklahoma and at times must use my credit to help support it through publications etc as well as travel on my CARAVAN tours to seek tips for daughters killer. And there is no email or direct way to get through.

Altima 2009 was returned, inspection (wear and tear) - no charges. 5 1/2 months later, a letter from NMAC says they found engine sludge and they are charging me of improper maintenance. I did the proper maintenance. The cars engine light was not on, no sluggish acceleration, and no smoke when lease was returned. Now, NMAC is charging me for a new engine if I did not produce evidence of oil changes. I no longer have records of a lease returned 5 1/2 months ago. I called many times and explained their answer for me to find the records. Second letter, 3 months later, and now its over 8 months since the lease was returned. New engine charge is $3,737.06. Nissan needs to do more in-depth inspections, not just the wear and tear. It is illegal, unfair, and unreasonable to charge $3,737 for a new engine 8 months after a lease has been returned. Nissan needs to inform the consumer of any costly repair so that proper economic decisions can be made by the consumer before a lease return. I am at NMAC’s mercy now. They can charge anything they want and spoil my credit. I am held hostage by NMAC.

I bought a 2012 Nissan Rouge new in 2012. Last week while driving on a busy street 285 in Atlanta the car lost power and I almost had a few accidents. I took the car to a Nissan dealer in Buford GA and they said the transmission was gone. I have 82,000 miles on the car. I asked how much to fix, they said around $5000.00. I explained that other places said $3500, they told me the reason its this high is Nissan will not put in a transmission without a blower to cool the transmission fluid thats what is causing the breakdowns. I asked why was this not on my car when I bought it, he just looked at me. I said is this a defect, he did not answer. The blower is an additional $1200 for just the blower. I talked to Nissan and asked them to cover the whole replacement. They offered $1,000 which does not even cover the blower. This should and I am sure will be a recall someday. I guess I will park the car till then. Lastly in talking to the lady in warranty she had no clue about the blower and said she does not know cars but thats her decision. Can someone help me with this.

Nissan extended their CVT transmission warranty from 60,000 miles to 120,000 miles on the Nissan Versa because they knew about the transmission failures. My Nissan Versa transmission died at 132,000 and Nissan said they wouldnt do anything about it. When they thought I was going to hire a lawyer they seemed very responsive. I didnt hire a lawyer unfortunately and Nissan didnt provide any support for the problem. I had to pay over $4,000 to put in a refurbished transmission. The cruise control and the tire light stopped working a long time ago also. They should have covered at least some of the cost of the transmission because they knew about the failures. My previous car which was a Nissan Quest didnt have any transmission problems so I expected similar results and was disappointed with the Versa.

My 2005 Honda Accord rock solid. 200k miles. Bought several Nissans but had repairs. My older son 2011 Nissan Altima coupe cat converter failed at 50k miles. $800! My younger sons 2009 Altima steering ignition failed. $750! A/C failed. $850! (@90k miles). I wrote to their customer service. They gave me a reference number. Thats it! No action, nothing! It is a miracle wifes 2010 Rogue is still working ok (95k). Maybe it was built on a Wednesday! Never Nissan again! I would advise people to buy Honda or Toyota even though a little more expensive!

It hit 75 degrees today in California and I’m again reminded why I will never buy another Nissan. My AC doesn’t work in my 2014 Nissan Rogue bought new in March 2014 at Dublin Nissan. It hasn’t fully worked since July 2015 when it inexplicably went out in the middle of a road trip in 101 degree weather. My two passengers and I tried to bear it for an hour, but ended up having to pull over for 3 hours to wait til dark to drive home the remaining 2.5 hours. I took the car to Nissan Capitol Expressway two days later where they spent an entire day (and tank of gas) trying to figure out the issue only to come away with no solution. It only seemed to be replicable in 80 degree or above weather and after driving for more than 30 minutes on highways.I knuckled down and made it through the summer, the car had about 18,000 miles at that point and was still in warranty. December 2015 I took the car back to Capitol Nissan for 25k maintenance and had them examine the AC unit again. Another full day of “work” and no solution. The AC continued to work intermittently, I kept up with routine maintenance and always mentioned the AC issues when I was in for service and still under warranty, always at Capitol Nissan. By late spring 2017 the AC had stopped working altogether, no cool air came out at all and the weather was only heating up. In June 2017 I took it to Nissan with 37k miles on it (Nissan warranty stops at 36,000 miles) and had Capitol Nissan spend another whole day working on it.They immediately agreed it wasn’t a functioning unit and spent the whole day with it, by end of day finding a “solution.” This solution was to drain the freon from the system and re-fill, this seemed to solve the problem. I asked the associate why that hadn’t been done before to solve the issue and he said he didn’t know. I then asked how he knew it was fixed and he said he couldn’t guarantee it and re-read me the description of work done like I was a kindergartener who just didn’t understand. He then only charged me for the new AC fluids and “helped” me with the labor cost by charging me $200. I drove away angry and rightfully so as the AC unit stopped working two days later. I called the associate at Capitol Nissan to let them know and never heard back.I then opened a case with Nissan Corporate to have the car declared a lemon as the AC unit will clearly never work. In that call I told them I truly thought this was a one-off case and that until then I had actually liked everything else about my Rogue. I told the representative that if Nissan awarded me the new car I was actually planning on upgrading to the Nissan Murano and would finance that upgrade through them.Nissan Corporate kept my case open for approximately 18 hours only to dismiss it because the car was out of warranty, they offered me one monthly payment ($350) for my troubles. I did not accept this money as it didn’t even begin to cover the amount of time I had spent away from work and the money I had spent fixing this issue. The way Nissan has treated me has made it abundantly clear I will never buy another Nissan and as soon as I am financially able I will be getting rid of this junk Rogue and buying a Toyota.

I purchased a pre-owned certified 2013 Nissan Pathfinder about 1.5 years ago and it was a terrible purchase. I have spent a few thousands of dollars on this car on top of having purchased an extended warranty. There were at least two recalls on this car that were addressed after I purchased the car, two window motor failures within the first year, the compressor from the AC is in the process of being replaced. I will say that these repairs were covered; however, I have had to pay a few thousands for items that were considered normal wear and tear which some items I didnt expect to have to cover so soon after purchasing the car and considering it was a certified car. Overall, I am so disappointed in my purchase and I do not plan on owning another Nissan car again.

I purchased a lemon vehicle. The Nissan dealer is not admitting they are at fault. The vehicle purchased is a 2008 Nissan Versa 4dr Hatchback. Since the odometer read 11000k miles, the vehicle started acting up with the fuel system. There are records to back this information regarding reoccurring service with the same problems in the system. A few times they have replaced the fuel pressure regulator along with the pressure pump, sometimes stalling out in the middle of the intersections causing a hazard on the road. I have asked the dealership to exchange the vehicle due to its fleet defects. Again, no response or solution.

I just replaced a transmission on a 2008 Nissan Rogue with only 133,608 miles on it. This car had a grinding noise in the transmission initially. It was a widely known problem (Check the NICO Club Rogue Forum). Nissan released a software patch in 2009 which resolved the issue. I got the update shortly after it was released on 11/30/09.On 10/20/14 my transmission failed, without warning, in four lanes of highway traffic. The car lost forward momentum and it was a miracle my wife and I were not killed getting the car off the freeway. We were towed to a dealership nearby and they informed me the transmission was dead and would have to be replaced. I paid $1000.00 out of pocket for replacement. The dealership said they got me help from Nissan who covered $3000.00. I requested reimbursement from Nissan of my $1000.00 and was denied. They basically said they had done enough. When I asked if they had actually paid the dealership $3000.00 the rep said that was proprietary information. Sound shady? Yep! I will never - EVER - buy a Nissan product again and I will never own a CVT again. Buyer beware!!

I submitted an earlier complaint and the complaint was closed after three messages left when my phone number provided was not working (because my home phone works off the internet). My internet was down for a couple of days and towers were not working properly in my area to allow signal to my home. After this was explained, left on numerous and countless messages, emails and voicemails with Mrs. ** with Nissan Consumer Affairs who was handling the case at the time. I received absolutely no response from Mrs. ** and her reply was she no longer handles Nissan consumer vehicle complaints. I spoke with them very respectfully and explained; I will be resubmitting a complaint due to lack of multiple communication issues in not receiving a call back or response from said date 5/7/2015 up to 5/18/2015 regarding the various issues and in the handling of previous Case # **, and how quickly it was closed. The vehicle safety concerns and issues are my number one priority and should be Nissans as well. Mrs. ** responded that will be fine and maybe we can handle it appropriately, readdress issues and concerns, with proper documentation. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO RE-SUBMIT COMPLAINT DUE TO ERROR MESSAGE FROM NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIR REPLYING MY NAME IS WRONG AND REJECT MY EMAIL NOW which reads Access Denied. You dont have permission to access http://www.nissanusa.com/apps/contactus on this server. Reference **I have tried to resubmit the complaint numerous times once again and it is unaccepted. I felt Nissan was not able to make an appropriate assessment and determination based on lack of information theyd received and lack of communication in handling of this matter by the person Nissan assigned to this complaint. New issues have since arise. I am trying to resubmit another complaint too and maybe this time with my personal office number being provided will avoid lack of communication and we can fully address the safety issues I am presently having and been having with this vehicle, 2012 Nissan Versa since purchase date at CarMax in White Marsh. The brake pedal is now fluttering and the seat belt just locks for no reason while driving. My vehicle has been parked and I am driving another family vehicle. In addition to this complaint, I am contacting you because I have been experiencing and have been experiencing serious safety problems with 2012 Nissan Versa Sedan make and model. Although, I realize Nissan makes some of the greatest vehicles. The 2012 Nissan Versa I purchased I noticed has very serious safety issues that began the day I purchased this vehicle at Carmax, White Marsh, MD lot. After pleading with Carmax to take this vehicle back for a year and 1/2 they would not allow me to give the vehicle back to them the day I purchased it. The problems with the vehicle upon purchase of the vehicle were brakes did not work properly at all. Carmax attempted to fix brakes 3-4 times, pedal would not work and often get stuck, defrost does work and takes a very long time and during rainy conditions it doesnt work at all forcing me to roll down windows to clear them, noise coming from around side view mirrors, freezing of both side view rear mirrors during winter and freezes during driving in cold conditions, vehicle is unable to sustain any type of wind or rain conditions and Ive literally shifted into another lane numerous times while driving on the highway, over a bridge, and even on the street, if a truck or someone passes me at high speed 65-75 I easily shift out of lane-position.Paint job was very poor-scratched terribly, body is very weak and fragile, no matter what hits my vehicle a pebble cracked the glass, a slight hit will hugely dent the vehicle and has, rear window in the passenger rear side will not go up and down properly at all. I have submitted endless complaints regarding my vehicle and I am very dissatisfied with this make and model; believe I may own a defective model because there are too many issues with my vehicle. I dont know what happen with this vehicle but the safety issues I experience regularly really concern me and the family I have ride with me. Please let me know what you can do to address these serious concerns. After two years of battling with Carmax Corporate Office for a year 1/2 to take this vehicle back; I am now contacting the manufacturers of this vehicle. The vehicle I purchased is not safe and has not been since the day I purchased it. I have been in 3 different accidents. The first week after complaints were made and I purchased it I was unable to properly brake and ran into the back of the vehicle a week into owning it after reporting the brakes were not properly working. I pulled into a parked car and could not maneuver appropriately into a parking lot and hit a parked car as the pedal locked on me and brake would not work properly. There are multiple dings, hits, scratches, dents because vehicle was not properly painted. A two year vehicle looks like I owned it 20 years. My concerns and safety issues are not being taken seriously and believe if Carmax would have notified you of this something would have been done a lot sooner to address these issues instead of being taken advantage of during purchase of this vehicle. My younger children nor my husband wish to get into my vehicle because the serious safety concerns they have and also experienced with me while riding with me in 2012 Nissan Versa. I think Nissan makes excellent cars. Just this one has multiple defects. Please contact me with ideas or a solution you may have to fully address these issues. I look forward to trying to resolve these issues. Thank you for your time and attention to this complex and serious matter. In kind I have been patience, respectful only to be met with NO RESPONSE and NOW UNABLE TO RESUBMIT COMPLAINT FOR PROPER HANDLING!

At least they asked us to sit. The second thing is about pricing. Over the phone, they told us that price for leasing the Nissan Leaf S model with Quick charge about $260 per month without VPP. After talking to them, they told us that price gone up to $363 per month. They wasted our complete Saturday with precious time for us since schools are opening on Monday. Also, when we bought the cars they did not clean them meaning there is residue on the windows where the stickers were. Not even one follow up call, no notices for check ups. I purchased a 2011 Sentra with 72,000 miles on it for my daughter on May 2014. About 3 months of owning it, she calls me and tells me that the vehicle is losing power at about 55mph on the highway. I figured its probably a dirty fuel filter, so I called Autozone and they told me this vehicles fuel filter is in the tank with the fuel pump and doesnt get replaced. I took the vehicle to my mechanic and his scanner gave us code PO 745 pressure control solenoid malfunction. He told me to take it to the dealer because the vehicle was so new. The Nissan dealer told me that Nissan doesnt authorize them to repair transmissions, only exchange them for remanufactured ones. Then he runs my vin# and tells me that my car is not covered under the extended warranty from Nissan. They cover 2003 till 2010 and my car is 2011 and that I would have to pay to replace the transmission. Weve had the car one year and bought it with 72,000 miles and it currently has 80,500. Now Im stuck with this problem and the vehicle is not paid off yet. At this point I am running out of options. Please help.

I know these complaints are mostly about Nissan Muranos. I presently own a 08 Nissan Rogue in which my transmission went out on me while on road trip from North Carolina. I purchased it from Nissan dealership in 2011 with approximately 50k. I presently have 121k miles. When I found it was the transmission I did some research because as long I have been driving I know transmission dont go out on cars at 121k. I called Nissan consumer care and found out that an extended warranty is on Rogue transmissions. Being that I had 121k I ask about the mileage on warranty at 120k. I was told mileage didnt matter and take to Nissan dealership. The dealership diagnosed as needing a new transmission. I found a letter on Nissan website stating that the warranty on CVT transmission had been extended to 120k /10 yrs from 60k 5 yrs. The letter also states that even past warranty mileage that decrease in repair cost would occur by Nissan. After speaking with Nissan Ive been told that no previous problem with transmission and being out of warranty they couldnt assist me with my transmission. Doing further research there are many people having/had issues with the CVT transmissions in Rogue/Muranos. I spoke with a few mechanics who said that transmissions dont fail @121k and Nissan had issues with CVT transmission. Right now I feel Im caught in rock and hard place. I have to spend $3500-$4000 for a major repair for a car that Im still paying for. I have purchased 3 prior Nissans and always thought highly for their cars. I believe that Nissan is trying to deflect responsibility for having a defective part. I just want Nissan to own up and replace it in good faith. I like the car, but after this Ill seriously consider and likely purchasing other brands and models of auto other than Nissans

I purchased a 2009 Nissan Rogue, new. I have owned this car for 10 years, and have paid through the nose for control arms and wheel bearings. August 4th 2015 my transmission overheated on the 400, kicked into safe mode from Cruise control and almost got us run over by a transport. It was repaired with an accessory oil cooler by Nissan two weeks later. Same thing happened 2 days ago on a trip back from Lemington. I have under the 200,000 km, but am 1 month over my warranty. So, I have been in talks with Nissans customer care department. My warranty was up July 30th. The band aid fix for my transmission on August 5th 2016 has failed 1 month after the warranty was up...imagine that. It was a pretty car. Its pretty worthless now. My credit is good so I financed my new 2016 Nissan Rogue at my credit union with no trouble. A couple of weeks later, I mistakenly pumped diesel fuel in my new car. It happened at Sheetz. They say it cant be done and the nozzle wouldnt fit. They finally said it is Nissans fault. Nissan passed me around from one customer service person to another. It appears to be a game with them. They seem to have a lot of customer service people who will call you and ask you a few questions just to have someone else call you. It definitely is a way of looking like they are paying attention to you but the result is they wont do anything to help you. Besides that problem that same day, I tried to use Nissan roadside assistance which I had been told I should have, when it happened. My tow charges were more because they said I didnt have it when I tried to use it and I was forced to call 911. I understand I made a mistake but that nozzle fit right into my car and the only way I saw what had happened was when my car stalled and I read my receipt. Anyway, both Nissan and Sheetz first said they would help but then wouldnt. Dont buy a Nissan. There is no customer service. They will just waste your time. Reference telephone for Nissan **. I think it is time to run these foreign vendors out of the US since they wont take any responsibility for the faulty design of their cars.

I was told the pulley kit needed to be changed. The following week the suv would not turn on,once it was on the engine light came on. I took the truck to Nissan of Queens , left the truck there for 2 weeks till the transmission came in. When i got my vehicle back i saw my push bar was dented on the passenger side. I took the vehicle back on Monday because it was picked it up while they were closing up so rushing it was not noticed until i got home. The manager Ravi said they were not responsible for the dent. ( My vehicle is always parked in a private driveway and did not have any dents on it) . I called another manager there Sando about 6 times left messages till now i never got a call back. I took my truck back the following week Sept 6th for jerking issues and i saw now they take pictures of each vehicle that goes in for service. They told me they cannot find anything wrong so i contacted consumer affairs. After calling them 3 times i finally got an appt for 10/4/17 . I met with the consumer affairs and as i sat down with him he told me he was only there to discuss the truck. I then realized that the manager Ravi had briefed him on the dent on my truck which occurred on Nissan premises. He told me he would take the truck for a test drive and will let me know what the issues are once he returned. He came back and said he did not experience any issues and he couldnt do anything. I explained to him i spent over $50 K(paid off in 14 mths) on this truck which i only have 3 years now and i was having all the same issues as before. He then told me he would check the fluids after 45 mins he came back and said he found debris in the pan and he would need to order a new transmission. They gave me back my truck 10/4/17 with all the same issues. I left numerous messages for consumer affairs but have not gotten a call back as to when my transmission will be replaced. Now 10/17/17 my daughter got into a accident because when coming to a stop the truck started jerking and hit the vehicle in front of her. I left another message for consumer affairs and awaiting a call back. I am still driving a faulty vehicle and a accident occurred because the the cvt transmission jerking. This will be the 3 rd transmission in 3 mths. Nissan should not be selling vehicles with faulty transmission.

After exchanging my leased 2005 Nissan Altima for a new leased 2009 Nissan Altima, I was billed over $2,000 for excess damage. After reviewing the inspection report (inspection done by a third party company, without my review or given the chance to correct damages before turning the vehicle), I wrote a letter of dispute to NMAC and sent it registered mail and submitted payment in full for the items I agreed to. NMAC did not respond in writing or by phone to my letter of dispute. After a few months, I began to receive collection letters from an outside collection firm. Again I sent a letter of dispute to NMAC and sent a copy of the dispute for the file to Experian, Equifax and TransUnion credit bureaus. After a few more months I began to notice the adverse credit notations regarding this transaction with each credit bureau report.Once again I requested in a letter to NMAC that they respond to my original dispute and remove the adverse credit information from each credit bureau. After two years, I finally received a response. A demand for payment of the disputed amount and a comment that they viewed my original dispute as frivolous and without merit. After over three years, this adverse credit mark is still showing up and impacting my credit score negatively. I bought out my lease on my current Altima and will never again buy a Nissan product. I also go to great lengths to tell all of my friends and acquaintances to beware of doing business with Nissan and especially NMAC. Nissan may feel that they have won a battle with me for approximately $1,700.00, but I will try to hurt their sales as much as possible through my negative comments to friends and acquaintances. While in graduate business school, I learned that on average, consumers who have good experience with a company share it with one other person. Those who have a bad experience share it with an average of eleven other people. Im beating the average.

Airbag recall - I called recall center for 2 months. Explained to them that I havent driven in 10 years. Live in Alaska and have mental health issues that make me afraid to drive to Anchorage, I live in Wasilla. I was told several times, Dont worry. We dont want you to drive if it makes you uncomfortable. Then was told, SORRY YOUR PROBLEM. First they build a car that can and will kill you. Then you think they will do the decent thing that they promised to do, I have it recorded so I thank nissanusa.com for making my problems worsen.

Please tell them to stop the harassing phone calls. The Nissan Versa I bought was paid in cash. I dont have a note with Nissan. My 85-year old mother has one and has paid in advance and pays more monthly than is due. I will never buy another Nissan if these harassing phone calls continue. I have told them that twice, yet they persist in calling my cell number and leaving recorded messages. Stop it!

I have tried to open an online account to make lease payment 3 times. Every time, there is some issue. This time they wanted my account number. I dont walk around with my account number, and the letter they sent, has a lease number, which I guess, is not the same. When I called the cust. service number, I was put on hold so long, I finally hung up. In any event, you can bet your life that they would not of given me acct. number over the phone anyway. I like my new car, but being in cust. service myself, I find it laughable that I cannot find good cust. service anywhere. Based on these three call, which took up 3 lunch hours to try and complete, I WOULD NOT BUY ANOTHER NISSAN, NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND THEM EITHER... LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE SALE... Typical!!!

I leased a 2012 Altima SL and made all the payments on time. I turned the car in at a Nissan dealership and paid all balances due. Several months after that apparently NMAC decide there was a balance due of $127 and never contacted me (email, phone, postal mail). Since I was unaware of the situation the amount went past due and I got a 30 day late notice on my otherwise perfect (770+) credit rating. Thats how I found out they felt I owed them some stupidly small amount. Absolutely horrendous customer service and I will never deal with them again. Its a shame because I enjoyed the car but their financing arm is absolutely horrible to deal with every time I have had to call them or otherwise.

2008 Nissan Versa CVT Problem. I am crying right now. I do not know what I am going to do. The other day I was driving and took my girlfriend home and the gas light came on. It was late and me being a woman decided to get gas the next day. So I did but when I was half way out of my apts the gas pedal quit working. I thought I had run out of gas so I had to go about 5 miles an hour over across the street to the gas station. Put gas in it and it drove fine and to the grocery store right up the street. On my way home it ran fine and when I turned into my apts the gas pedal quit working again. I have it in a shop for about two weeks and they tell me they cannot figure out what is wrong. They believe it is the CVT. They said it was just a fluke that about me being low of gas that this doesnt have anything to do with it. That it is getting plenty of gas but the transmission isnt receiving the information or something like that.I just got online and have seen over 800 different complaints about the CVT on these Nissans. My life is over if it is the transmission. I am on disability and 65 years old. I barely make it as it is. If I do not have a vehicle I cannot go to my doctor or to the grocery store. I have no family. God what am I gonna do. Does anyone know where I can file a complaint at least. So maybe in the future people will see it and not buy a Nissan and be stuck walking like me. Why doesnt Nissan make good on these. Why??

I purchased my 2017 Nissan Murano on 2/27/17 from Frank Fletcher Nissan, Joplin MO. Prior to 5/8/18 (I do not have this date or who I spoke with at Fletchers) but I stated to them when my husband drove the car and placed his arm leaning on the center console the drivers seat would rub against the console causing this annoying squeaking that was continuous until he changed positions. I was asked if my husband was a bigger man and I said yes 63 230 lbs but what does that have to do with it? He stated they have had several complaints about this and all the men were larger. I said that is no reason for the seat to squeak! We had other vehicles & not ever had this issue. So on 5/8/18 I took my car in and the service dept said they could and I agreed to let them install washers to tilt seat slightly and prevent rubbing. This seemed to work briefly but then it started again. Nothing like before but still it should not be happening. So I went back again to report it. This is my 1st brand new car and this should not be the way it is & I have never had a car that had this issue and I am sure I could have bought any other car & not had this issue. So I said if you cant fix it who should I speak with that might be able to assist me and at that time he gave me the 1-800-nissan-1 #. On 6/6/18 I contacted the 800 Nissan consumer affairs and the person I spoke with said they will send case to regional consumer affairs specialist to get in contact with dealer and investigate giving me a case # ** from agent #**. on 6/8/18 I spoke with regional affairs rep and he had authorized technical resource to talk with Fletchers and that my car was under warranty so call and make an appointment to take my car in. 6/8/18 I called Fletcher for an appt. They said they will need my car 1/2 day but he will get ahold of Regional consumer affairs and find out how to get set up with tech. 6/11/18 Fletchers called. Will get tech line assistance with them to get help on resolving problem. Appt set for Wed, 6/20/18, 10 a.m. 6/20/18 took car to Fletcher Nissan Joplin, MO. Service manager said will contact tech line and see what they can do. He came back to get me in just a short amount of time and said I could take car and he would call me to bring it back in once tech line calls them back to let him know how to resolve. On 6/29/18 I receive a call from Fletchers customer service dept asking if my problem was resolved to my satisfaction and I said no and explained I was still waiting to hear back from service dept at which time she transferred me over to the head of the service dept. The man said he had spoke with tech line and they were not to modify seat or replace it. He was told it is a characteristic of this vehicle. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! At which time I told him I would NEVER purchase another Nissan again and it is a shame because my sister bought one just like mine because I liked mine so much until this and now they will never buy another Nissan either. I called 800 Nissan back and spoke with agent #** and asked for a supervisor. He said he will have a supervisor call me back no later than tomorrow. He did have me explain to him my issue so it could be noted prior to supervisor calling me back. 7/12/18 a supervisor called, left a message on my phone and said the dealership provided me with correct information. The vehicle is operating as designed and it is a normal characteristic. They will follow up with me tomorrow to make sure I received this message.7/16/18 Sammie called and I was not where I could talk so told her I would call her back Tuesday at 10 a.m. She gave me her direct #. 7/17/18 Sammie called me back at 9:40 a.m. Said all she could do was restate what I had been told which was it is a characteristic of this vehicle. I said I knew of other people per Fletcher dealership in Joplin that are having this same problem but I also know it is not every car since my sister bought the same vehicle due to my recommendation and hers does not do this so how can you consider this a characteristic. She once again said it is a characteristic of this vehicle. Call was ended! Case # ** 7/17/18 I called Sammie back. Left message to call me back - no return call. 7/18/18 called her again leaving another message with my # to please return my call and to this day still have not received a return call.

I purchased the Versa from a Toyota dealer; May 5, 2015. After having it for a little over six months the battery went dead. I had to purchase a new battery. On August 7, was heading home from Las Vegas. It was bumper to bumper traffic then there was a brake. I tried to accelerate there was a resistant. It picked up speed and just cut off. I had no brakes. It was if the interlock system shut off everything. At that time traffic slowed down. I turned on my hazard lights and barely get over to shoulder without an accident. It was coasting with no brakes then there was this downhill slope. The speed picked up. I was praying that no other car got in front of me. A car did get in front of me but it quickly got back over. I thought I was going to have to drive the car into the dessert in order to stop it if the shoulder ran out. I came upon an exit and got off. It was an overpass with a steep hill, that stopped it. Then at that time I was able to pull up the emergency brake. I was stopped in the middle of two lane traffic; one lane coming and one going. I was still in danger of being hit by another vehicle. I was terrified as well as my family. Stuck in the desert in an unsafe spot. Others stopped after an hour and moved the car to a safer spot. I called the tow truck, to be towed 194 miles home. It took the tow truck over two and a half hours. I was afraid it was getting dark. We had no water. My mother is 81 years old. I saw three other Nissan Versas stranded besides my. Once the tow truck got there and hooked my car up, got in, and had a conversation with him. He said last week he picked up three Versas. They said the same thing I said. Their car just shut off. Took my car to Nissan car dealer in Alhambra, California on Main St. to find out it shut down because of the CVT. There was a recall on August 2015. On 2013 thru 2015 Versas, I also had another recall on some part that went under the brake. I didnt get a letter informing me of the recall. When asked why not, they told me I was not in their system as owning a Nissan. I said I am a registered owner with the DMV. Dont the two share database? I dont believe it. There has to be a law. So just wait until I have a close encounter or die to find out about the recall. Nissan has no remorse. They told me my transmission need service. After all that Ive been through, you would think they would take care of that? Nissan has this slogan, Ride in a Nissan with confidence. My first car at seventeen was a Datsun 510 brand new off the lot. Come to think of it, I had it long enough to just pay for it. No wonder they dont make them anymore. Nissan need to be put out of business. They are putting out bad cars that are going to cost many people their lives. They have poor customer service. After all that Nissan called me to upgrade a purchase on a new car, I said, Are you serious? I dont even like Nissan anymore. I will accelerate this complaint to social media. Im going to sue. I will try everything. Even a class action, because I know this is happening to thousands. We cant just sit still and allow any and everything to happen to us. If we dont stand for something, we will fall for anything. I will never buy another Nissan.

I bought this 2015 Nissan Altima Feb. 27th, 2015. It had defects on exterior, signal lamp loose, dashboard bad. 2 weeks later the sway bar fell from underneath. I duct taped it up. Called Reidsville Nissan. Corrected. Now after 1700 miles and 3 months later the radiator went out. New one installed by Nissan store. They drove it and called me. Said it needed a new motor. Really, after 1700 miles. Called consumer affairs and after 2 weeks they said Nissan would not buy back or substitute for collateral. Very unhappy with this decision and have had an account with Nissan 4 years. I feel as if a substitute for collateral would have been good. Now I will be trying to trade for a car. I do feel safe in today. Today I go pick up my new motor Nissan and not happy at all.

I bought a used Nissan Note automatic just over a year ago. The mileage was 8100. My daughter uses the car to go to and from work. The car now has 12,500 miles on it. I had a gearbox problem and took the car to Nissan authorized dealer. The dealer said that the automatic gearbox needs replacing and it will cost £8545.00. I believe that there must be factory defect since the gearbox should not give problems at 12,500 miles. Nissan is not accepting responsibility. The car is 4 years old. The warranty expired 6 months ago. What can I do? How do I take Nissan to court on the grounds that this is a manufacturing fault?

Faulty issues with new Kicks. I have been purchasing Nissan since 1985. This was to be my very first lease ever. I wanted 2018 model. Universal City was the closest and had several cars. I got my Kicks SR. The model I test drove had 80 mls on it and was filthy. I asked the rep if this was a floor model. He avoided the question and said it will be cleaned up. Enamored I went ahead with the purchase. The salesman let me inspect the car in the garage. It seemed to have been cleaned, but when I came home I noticed not only it was dirty but had scuff marks on it, the back light was scratched and missing a flashlight in the tool kit.I cleaned the car myself in my garage. Since it was a lease I became leery and wrote a letter to the manager Steve ** and was completely ignored, zero reply. 3 days later I got a warning flashing on the car UNAVAILABLE FRONT RADAR OBSTRUCTION. Same happened again next day. So I took it to dealer. While the car was being inspected, I went to see Steve the manager, who did not appear, was busy. Sia, an assistant manager came to see me. I told him of my dirty car, he said he will detail it and look into missing tool. The next day my car was returned. The explanation on warning was the front sensor was dirty. Scuffs and scratches were gone.. No answer on missing tool. Again, the only reason I am wary because this is a lease, has to be returned and I dont want to be responsible for missing tool. Still I was happy, satisfied. However the warning sign came back. I work, so had to bring the car a couple of days later. This time they kept the car for 5 days to replace the sensor. I asked to be compensated, like a tank of gas, they declined. The service manager finally told me that the car doesnt come with a flashlight. The spot is made for other models that do? Although it doesnt make sense, this is the highest model of Kicks, I am leaving that alone. Once more I said perhaps this is the end. To no avail. Now my dashboard is buzzing, as if I am driving a clunker. Cannot hear music. So today, back to service. I am completely disappointed and have zero confidence in Nissan. I will have no choice but to consult an attorney if anything else happens. Unfortunately only now I begun reading reviews on Nissans and see that there are many complaints on sensors, transmissions and audio systems. Yet I love my car. I am heartbroken.

I recently brought my vehicle in to be serviced due to some noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. After looking at the vehicle I am told that the rear end pinion bearings have gone bad, and that the pinion seal is also leaking and is described as a nonreplaceable part - as such, the rear end assembly needs to be replaced for a cost of close to $4000. Note, I do not have a trailer hitch, and do not tow anything. This seems like a very extreme repair for a truck with mileage in the 80k range - and would seem to be a reflection of the poor quality and craftsmanship when it was built. Ive regularly taken this vehicle to the same dealer service department for previous repairs, oil changes, etc.- there were no previous signs or indications that this would be an issue.

Well here goes. Nissan car/van owners beware. Their customer service and warranty is horrendous. And without a doubt they have an issue with the engines, same recall as Toyota but instead of calling it a recall they are simply finding an excuse to revoke your warranty and make you pay for the new engine. We’ve owned nothing but Nissans since 1996. Our 2 year old passenger van with 56k Miles started burning oil. No engine warning light came on, no low oil warning light, nothing. We brought it to the dealership three times for oil level tests, then they took the van last Monday to do more tests. They don’t pay for a rental, don’t give you a comparable rental so I’m in a 5 passenger car. They then tell us it needs a $12,000 new engine and warranty was revoked because we are missing one receipt. I’ve spoken to at least 9 people at Nissan Corporate. No one can do anything because Nissan Warranty is not “customer facing.” Their decision is final. So, our van will get its new engine. We’ll suck up the cost then trade it in for something new. NOT NISSAN.

Been taking my Nissan 07 Pathfinder with 47,000 miles to the dealership for maintenance since I leased then bought it. Over two to three years Ive been reporting a sound coming from the car as I accelerated up to 25 then again at 40 mph. This problem was never resolved because it came and went and it almost never surfaced when I would bring the car in for maintenance. They would tell me its the heat shields and tighten them but the noise would return. I had scheduled a 45,000 mile maintenance and on the way to the dealership my engine began to rumble then the service engine light came on where. I was told by the adviser that a coil and a platinum spark plug needed to be replaced to fix the engine misfire. I was given a loaner and they worked on my car for two days. I got my car back and everything seemed fine, the engine light was off, car was smooth. A little more than a week later after I dropped off my wife at work, the engine started to act up and rumble and engine light came on again. I was not far from the dealership so I decided take it in. All of a sudden, halfway to the dealership, I cannot drive past 25 mph and the car starts to make the noise its been making when I accelerated to 25 and 40 mph, the same noise Ive been complaining about for about 3 yrs and now its amplified. I told the service adviser about the incident and told it could possibly be the catalytic converter which is covered under warranty until 2015 by federal emissions law so it would be no cost to me to be replaced. I needed to go to work so again I was given a loaner and the job took two days. I received a call from Nissan and was told that the catalytic was very clogged and parts broke off damaging the engine and it was going to cost $6,600 or more to rebuild or replace the engine. My warranty inconveniently expired three months ago. How can this happen to a car with low miles and with an excellent maintenance record? Shouldnt Nissan be responsible?

We had no way of knowing it was a legitimate call because sometimes wed answer and it would automatically disconnect. Wed call back. Sometimes it would answer and automatically disconnect, sometimes an automated system would ask for our FULL social security number (not just the last four of our SSN) before agreeing to connect us to a representative. Considering we thought we were set up on auto draft, therefore thought our payments were being made, and were getting calls from an automated system claiming to be Nissan, at times disconnecting when we answered, at times disconnecting when we called back, and asking us to enter our full social security number when we got through, it all seemed sketchy. It would not be difficult for anyone attempting identity theft to figure out we are making payments to Nissan, call us under the guise of Nissan, and ask for our personal information. Considering the circumstances, we legitimately thought these were spam calls. Furthermore, we received no written communication from Nissan letting us know payments werent being made, and no phone calls from a live representative. Just sketchy automated phone calls, like the numerous ones we get each day that are spam.My husband finally decided to figure out what was going on and called the dealership where we purchased the car. We had an incredible experience with them when we bought the car, which is the reason we bought a Nissan in the first place. The finance manager called the number with my husband to verify whether or not it was spam. Thats when we realized these calls were legitimate, our payments werent set up on auto draft, like we thought, and we had a payment over 30 days late. We explained our situation, brought our payments up to date immediately, even paying extra, and they submitted our account to the legal and credit department for review, to hopefully reverse the negative mark on our credit. Not only did they not reverse it, the customer service supervisor I spoke with when I called to find out the status of the account was incredibly rude and disrespectful. In all my years of talking to customer service representatives, some are fantastic, but she was among the worst. Degrading words, degrading tone of voice. It still astounds me that she spoke to me the way she did.I wish I would have read all of the negative reviews regarding Nissan Finance before we financed our vehicle. Like I stated before, we could have paid cash for it, but decided to finance it for the sole purpose increasing our credit score. At the very least we would have financed it through our own bank, it was just easier the day we purchased the car to go ahead and finance through Nissan. BIG MISTAKE! We aren’t done fighting this. If there is a resolution other than our current situation I will update this review. I’m not looking forward to the hours we are going to have to put in to correct a situation that wouldn’t exist if Nissan Finance operated like a company that legitimately cared about its customers, like Honda, Toyota, etc. etc. Again, BUYER BEWARE! If you finance through Nissan, get ready for a rough ride. Keep track of your auto drafts – DO NOT trust that the system will do what it’s supposed to do. And if you happen to have an issue to work out be prepared to be talked to very disrespectfully.

I purchased a 2013 Nissan Sentra SR only 8 months ago with 80,000 miles! After leaving the dealership (hrs after) I had contacted the manager to inform her that I felt as if there was a problem with the transmission because of the problems I was experiencing, the car was revving very high while in park or stopped and jerking. It almost felt as if I was driving a standard and taking off from a stop sign in 2nd gear! This is what my car feels like taking off after every stop I make! I have a ton of text messages between the manager and I about this problem. She somehow made a way to make ME feel like I had been driving the car a certain way or that I just hadnt had any experience driving new cars. This was the response I got for about 90 days until my warranty was up!I have now only had my car for 8 months and with only 93,000 miles and 3 years old, I am being told my transmission is GONE and this is going to cost me $3,200! PLEASE TELL ME HOW THIS IS POSSIBLE FOR A 3 YEAR OLD CAR!? I still owe $11,000 on this vehicle! And while paying family and friends and taxis to get myself and my 2 infant children to and from work, school and daycare, I am now struggling to make my monthly payments because at this point, I cannot afford to mess up my credit! I dont know what to do!! And after reading all of these complaints I feel absolutely taken advantage of, and absolutely no hope for nissan! If you cant stand behind your vehicles then you should not be selling them! I am literally crying reading all of these complaints! It has definitely hit me that I am totally screwed!!!
