We purchased a luxury vehicle through NMAC for the past year and they are terrible. I have been paying the same price for 2 years with no drop in payment. When I asked about it they fixed it. The next month I was late with a payment and it went back to the previous price with no explanation. I spoke with a so called supervisor, to which I was told it went back to that price because I miss a payment. That makes no sense. They have held my payment and also lost my payments and also applied my payment to someone elses account. We recently moved and needed them to send the title to the new state so we could register our car. Problem this was after calling her every few days to see where it was. This left us with an unregistered vehicle for 10 days. I called back and then I was told that they will not send the copy of the title until the payment is made. They should have said this from the start when I contacted them, 10 days ago. Was told that all the fax machine in the company were down after I wanted to speak to a manager about the rep lying about the fax. But I had my friend at the dealer send a fax and they received it. In summary--THEY HAVE LOST EVERYTHING I HAVE SENT THEM, and it is apparently not their problem. After changing my address with them 4 times over the phone it was never updated, until 2 months later. Now Im still waiting after another 6 weeks and speaking with 13 different people for the title to be sent. Will never ever deal with this company again!!

It was Friday July 3rd 2015 we and just arrived back home and it was storming and rain and my father had put the vehicle in park and then had said he was going to fix the gutter and I had went to go hold the ladder so my father wouldnt fall and he had asked me to go get the drill and returned back outside and my father and I had heard someone screaming and went to go see who it was and it was my mother. She was on the ground and couldnt get up. She said she had reached to go turn the truck off and was in the truck. Went to get out and the door had knocked her down and all of a sudden the vehicle ran over me. Now Im in a wheelchair And I have severe bruising and 8 inch cut behind my left leg and will be like this for at least two months. And then maybe have to have surgery on leg and foot. My truck is under a recall, a 2005 Armada Nissan... Please call me ASAP **.

I leased a new car from Advantage Nissan, located on Old Country Road in Westbury, NY, which I later found out was in an accident and was repaired poorly. I asked the manager of the dealership to replace the fender which he agreed to do and gave me the number of his collision shop. When I called the shop they were rude and unhelpful. I sent a certified letter to the manager and told him I wanted to have the repair done at my collision shop, however, that was 3 weeks ago and I received no response.

I have two problems with this vehicle (2013 Nissan Rogue). It is only three years old and the transmission is failed twice. I replaced the transmission at 80,000 miles and with a little over 150,000 miles. It is failing again. Second, the car has pearl white paint on it, and it is peeling off across the car. Every area of the car has paint peeling off. I submitting a claim and took the car to the dealer several times. Nissan Consumer Affairs refuses to help defray the cost of these repairs, $4800 for a new transmission and $1500 for the paint job. I have filed complaints with the BBB, Nissan USA and the NHTSA. No one is helping.

We bought a Qashqai late last year with 68 registration and for the second time in short space of time, my car refuses to start this morning. I was told by RAC man the last time that there was a fault in the car - something was draining the battery. I took the car to Nissan garage afterward for diagnostics and fixture, after which I was assured that the problem had been fixed. To my amazement, my car refuses to start this morning and We had the same problem with our previous Nissan Juke. I will never buy a Nissan car again!

I bought a 1989 Nissan Hard body pickup (D21) from a friend. The DMV (Riverside, California) allowed me to register it but said I must send a certified letter to Nissan Corporation to obtain the Title. So I sent Nissan a certified letter requesting a title and they sent it back to me without even opening the letter. Then the DMV said that I needed to buy a bond and they (the DMV) would make me a new Title. So I bought a bond and gave it to the DMV. Then I received a letter from the DMV from Sacramento, California stating that I would still need to contact Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation to obtain a Title. My friend paid this truck off back in 1994. There is no reason that I know of for Nissan to withhold the Title. I cannot get in touch with anyone from the company. My registration expires in October of 2014. Please Nissan call me and lets get this problem solved.

I worked for a Nissan Dealer for 3 weeks, so I could find out why the cars had lost the great reputation of the 280ZX, and why most people hated the dealers. I sold my shop and moved to Florida to find out what was the problem. They only paid 30% of the labor fee to a mechanic if it is warranty. If it was warranty work and good mechanics did it, they would have quit if it was warranty. Mostly new bad mechanics, with no customers, got the warranty work and oil changes. They would change the oil with recycled oil on hot motors, thus spilling it all over the trans, causing warranty work for leaks all over. They paid me $75.00 to replace a rear main engine seal that was dry as a bone, oil was all over the trans, because of boys changing oil. I only use Fully Synthetic German 20w 60w LIQUI MOLY oil. Back in 2000 a cheap $20.00 oil change at Nissan was recycled oils, garbage. They did not care about customers. I still hear from my customers back home in Louisville and they miss me. I took good care of them from a wreck to a clutch, and when the Dealer told them they could not fix it, I had like new used parts and would have it going in one date with a year or more warranty for 1/5th the cost. I drive a Lincoln Towncar now and a BMW Z4, cause BMW charges much more, not a better vehicle, 240Z easiest car to work on.

My problem with NMAC began in December of 2011. I was behind two payments and I was making agreements with NMAC to satisfy those payments. In the past, I have tried to obtain a copy of my title so that I could register the vehicle where I am currently living. Mrs. ** of collections lied to me and told me that the document was requested and it is on its way but it never arrived. I have called NMAC several times to address this matter and they never assist me. They have threatened me about repossessing the vehicle although I have been making payments and keeping the agreements that I have with them. Currently, my vehicle has been sent out for repossession and an account representative by the name of Mrs. ** has been calling my job although she has been speaking with me daily regarding my car loan as the result of a complaint that I have filed against her. Today, she called and threatened the office manager at my job. She has asked personal information about the office manager and I. Mrs. ** has a personal vendetta against me and she is using her position at Nissan to harass me. My job does not want any more calls from NMAC because of this incident and has advised to me to seek legal action against NMAC and Mrs. ** personally. She has informed my employer that her calls are regarding an unpaid bill which is against the law. Mrs. ** is harassing me and I want it to stop immediately. I would like for my account to be assigned to a different department due to the fact that her and John ** and a few other individuals badger me on the phone and treat me as if I am not a person. I would like to file a complaint against Mrs. ** and her supervisors for allowing this to occur.

I bought a Nissan 370Z convertible 15 months ago with very low mileage. Just beyond the 36,000 mile mark, my convertible top experienced issues which needed to be addressed right away. I brought the car into the shop, they diagnosed the problem, and ordered the part which took 30 days to arrive and install. It was discovered that a second part was also faulty and needed fixing. Five weeks later, I am out $1,750 and still have no working part as we are waiting for the second part to arrive and be installed. The mechanic who was put in numerous hours trying to navigate through the issues flat out told me on three separate occasions to get rid of my Nissan vehicle as the craftsmanship is very poor and the electrical system is backwards (he was referring to Nissan in general). He also says working with Nissan Japan when ordering parts is a pretty painful experience as well - parts take forever. I can attest to this. So in short, I paid $12,000 more for a vehicle with a convertible top that barely made it past its warranty. This is the second Nissan convertible I have owned, and both had expensive electrical and convertible top issues. I can comfortably say that Nissan is the Walmart of the automotive industry. I look forward to turning away as many potential Nissan customers as possible in the future since so many ask me about my car.

On May 1st 2015, my car would not start. I had to have it towed to a Nissan dealer. I found out it was a faulty steering column mechanism. This faulty part was recognized by Nissan and they extended the warranty. I filed a claim for reimbursement online and later received a call stating my claim would not be covered because it was out of the warranty time.....by 1 week!! This is Nissans problem because they knew the part was faulty. Online, I found a lot of unhappy people about this issue. That doesnt even include the people who wouldnt complain online.. I was hoping they would stand by their product, especially when they knew it was faulty.

It all started on July 6th when we took our 2014 Rogue (which was purchased in 2015) in due to damage to the clear coat. If you are not familiar with clear coat it is the top protective layer applied to the paint job. The damage was caused by bird droppings. We had a car detailer look at it and he informed us that if the dealer attempted to buff it out that it would scratch the paint because the clear coat was so thin. When the car was taken in to the Nissan service department in Duarte, Louisa the body shop manager and Paul ** the sales manager were informed of the situation. When the car was ready for us to pick up (7/10) we found more damage done than when we left it. Over spray on the tail lights, roof rails, side, rear, and spoiler.Since then we have talked to GM Matt, Consumer Affairs and will be calling the BBB. It has been over a month now and we are still in a rental car because every time the vehicle is supposedly ready they seem to find new ways to damage the vehicle. The car is now at the 3rd party body shop which last time we checked (8/10) left spots on the interior seating and shifting counsel. Before going to the body shop the dealer in Duarte scratched the paint trying to do a quick buff job like we warned them not to do. Then when they finally broke down and decided to clear coat the entire vehicle like we requested from the start, they ended up scratching the window frames and still left over spray on side mirrors and tail lights. The car is no longer new thanks to their lack of understanding and attention to detail. We have totally lost enthusiasm in owning our Nissan and feel like our joy of buying a new car and the hard work that went into it has been robbed from us. Then another sales manager called us in and offered us a newer model with a higher monthly rate to help resolve the issue, which just enraged us even more for wasting our time and again being misleading. Never again will we be fooled by Nissan, and the word will spread.

I purchased a 2013 Nissan Sentra SR only 8 months ago with 80,000 miles! After leaving the dealership (hrs after) I had contacted the manager to inform her that I felt as if there was a problem with the transmission because of the problems I was experiencing, the car was revving very high while in park or stopped and jerking. It almost felt as if I was driving a standard and taking off from a stop sign in 2nd gear! This is what my car feels like taking off after every stop I make! I have a ton of text messages between the manager and I about this problem. She somehow made a way to make ME feel like I had been driving the car a certain way or that I just hadnt had any experience driving new cars. This was the response I got for about 90 days until my warranty was up!I have now only had my car for 8 months and with only 93,000 miles and 3 years old, I am being told my transmission is GONE and this is going to cost me $3,200! PLEASE TELL ME HOW THIS IS POSSIBLE FOR A 3 YEAR OLD CAR!? I still owe $11,000 on this vehicle! And while paying family and friends and taxis to get myself and my 2 infant children to and from work, school and daycare, I am now struggling to make my monthly payments because at this point, I cannot afford to mess up my credit! I dont know what to do!! And after reading all of these complaints I feel absolutely taken advantage of, and absolutely no hope for nissan! If you cant stand behind your vehicles then you should not be selling them! I am literally crying reading all of these complaints! It has definitely hit me that I am totally screwed!!!

I have had my Leaf for just under 2 years and 10 months. It has a key-FOB for keyless starting system (push button start) and to lock/unlock the doors. My car did not recognize either of my keys yesterday while I was about 5 miles from home. I walked home and called service, and I was told that either the battery was dead or that the car needed to be reprogrammed to recognize the FOB. I could unlock the door with a real key, but there was no way to start the car without the FOB. Not only was there no back-up method to start the vehicle, I was told I had to bring the key-FOB to the dealer to have the battery replaced; I could not just change it myself. I found this hard to believe. After getting the car to Nissan service, it was determined that the key-and-car needed to be reprogrammed to recognize each other and that this was not something that was covered under warranty. I called Nissan Consumer Affairs and I was told that warranties cover something wrong with the car not the key. If the car doesnt recognize the key, and needs to be reprogrammed, how is this not a problem with the car? Also, certainly there should be a back up to start a keyless car. Also, customers should be able to replace batteries in their FOBs.

Bought 4 years ago. Always maintained. Engines light comes on at 115k and it turns out that the CVT is to blame. Now Im discovering that its very common for these transmissions to only last 100k miles. Its super expensive to replace. After more research it seems to be more of a ($4k) consumable part instead of something you could trust to last for the life of the car. This would be okay, only if the repair cost wasnt going to effectively total the car. And totaled because no one wants to buy a car that is unreliable. The resale value is so low because of these problems? When called, Nissan offered no assistance and was very tight-lipped about this being anything but a rare occurrence. This is definitely a steep drop from the reliability standard I thought Nissan had. Never again?

Dont take it! Bad customer service, broken web, incompetent employees, managers that are quitting and credit department with its own world. LIARS AND RUDE TO CUSTOMERS. I had a car loan with Nissan going directly from the bank. (Draft) 2012-2017. In the year 2015 Nissan changed the rules that the last payment must be paid hard check not directly from the bank as draft. Nissan never informed existing customers about it (me being one of them) and this is common knowledge when you call Nissan customer service - they know they did not tell existing customers. Nissan did not contact me until the payment was already 30 days late. Manager at the time swore up and down this will not be sent to creditors as it was not my mistake and because they did not contact me - they had issues with new web that was put in place in 2015 (also known to all of them). That manager left a note in my account, as that I did not know my last payment must be done by physical check. However, Nissan still reported me to creditors as they dont read managers notes and dont care that this is their mistake. I was never late in my life. My credit score dropped from 850 to 698. There is nothing else bad on my credit, I paid for the report. Nissan credit services refuse to send a note to creditors, but when managers answer the phone, they tell me it will be ok and they stand by their mistakes. Because of their disconnect with credit department my life is ruined. I have never made a mistake in my life. I lived by the rules for 22 years building my credit score and perfect history. None of the higher ups offered to fix this mistake for me. It takes one letter to creditors to get my life back.

I purchased a vehicle because I thought it was a sound economical choice and a practical car comparable in functionality to a Toyota or Honda. I was absolutely wrong. Not only do things begin to break and fall apart pre-maturely, but basic maintenance is almost impossible due to the poor construction and parts used on the vehicle. No one, including dealerships carry the parts for this 2012 Nissan Versa. Theres no such thing as being able to buy a new battery from AAA because they wont have it, I cant get the transmission fluid changed because Jiffy Lube cant get to it, I cant get my brakes changed at Firestone because they dont have the random, cheap parts the Versa requires. I didnt buy a car in this price point to be forced to take it to a Nissan dealership for maintenance and have them take a full day or longer to fiddle around with no better information or resources than the next auto mechanics shop.Of course Nissan Corporate heard from me and took no interest in my problems with their product. I just wished they cared more. I put my toddler in that car knowing its not the safest but forced to continue using it until Im presented with an opportunity to be rid of it. I feel like I got duped by Nissans misleading marketing and branding campaign that they are reliable vehicles. It would be nice if Nissan had more integrity. Will never purchase another Nissan or refer them to someone shopping for a car.

I bought a Nissan about 5 months ago. They were ready and willing to help me in a car. They went out and brought the Nissan to show me. About 3 or 4 months ago the car had places on the hood and trunk of the car. I took the car to the Nissan place in Greer S.C. They looked at it said rocks from the road did this. Well dont you think I would have felt and seen when the rocks would have hit my car? As big as the places are, they would not help me! But if I was going to buy a car they would have been all over me! I took it to a man that paints cars. They said take it to Nissan where I bought it that it was in the paint! They tried to say it was rocks that did it. The man that looked at it picked at it and made it worst.I told him I wish he would stop doing that he was making it worst! Thats when he said he couldnt help me! That paint guy could have charged me to paint the car, but he was honest to tell me that! Somebody told me I could make that man pay for the damage he done to my car picking at it the way he did! I love the way the car rides now but Im afraid it might fall apart any time. Wish I had never bought the car from Nissan. Im very very unhappy with those people and the car the way it looks! I cant afford to trade the car or I would, but not with them! Can not appeal to the clerk. I really hate this company. They are such a stealers not dealers, stealers... I will never recommend it to no one.

I purchased a 2009 Nissan Rogue, new. I have owned this car for 10 years, and have paid through the nose for control arms and wheel bearings. August 4th 2015 my transmission overheated on the 400, kicked into safe mode from Cruise control and almost got us run over by a transport. It was repaired with an accessory oil cooler by Nissan two weeks later. Same thing happened 2 days ago on a trip back from Lemington. I have under the 200,000 km, but am 1 month over my warranty. So, I have been in talks with Nissans customer care department. My warranty was up July 30th. The band aid fix for my transmission on August 5th 2016 has failed 1 month after the warranty was up...imagine that. It was a pretty car. Its pretty worthless now. Seriously think over your purchases....I now have no trade value.

I bought a 2005 Armada Nissan new. Among many other problems the latest was a crack in both exhaust manifolds that the dealership told me it would be about $3000 to fix. I got it done at my mechanic and saved. I got a hold of Nissan and told them that the manifolds were defective according to my mechanic and they knew it because the new ones were beefed up right where the old ones cracked. Nissan called me back and kept saying over and over again that my warranty ran out. I told them that wasnt issue, it was defective, they said they wouldnt do anything. This is the last one I buy.

Since day 1 of having my Nissan Rogue 2016 SL FWD, have had constant issues. Front auto braking sensor malfunctioned the day I drove it off the lot in July 2016. Didnt have my car for 2 weeks, dealership was clueless on when the parts would be coming in. Dealership said they would paid for all the gas consumed in their loaner car for those two weeks and they paid 75% of it. At that point, didnt care to deal with them. Factory tires on the Rogue are junk, so loud on the highway. Acceleration is awful and the gas pedal vibrates. Had issues with something being loose in the driver side door, made a chirping sound when I closed it. Passenger door does the same thing now. Back door hatch makes a noise when turning or backing out of the driveway. Took the dealership and they took it all apart, broke a couple clips for the back trim and put it back on anyways thinking I wouldnt notice. Took it to the dealership I bought it at, the Midwest Regional tech and Service manager messed with my back door to get it to stop making noise and said they would order all new parts for it. They never called me back when the parts came in so I just now have them doing the work. Now my steering wheel shakes a ton when braking on the highway with speed over 50mph, its back in the shop for a second time to figure out the problem after a quick resurface of the rotors. I will never suggest a Nissan to anyone ever again, these cars are junk. Overheard so many complaints about their new Nissans from other customers while I was in the dealership the other day.

In October of 2012 I bought a brand new 2013 Nissan Versa. Great little car with excellent gas mileage. Within a month I heard a very loud rattling noise coming from underneath. I called the Nissan Service Dept and was told Oh yeah, thats the heat shield. There is a defect in it, just bring it in and we will fix it. I took it in and Nissan replaced it - no problem. 3 months later the same thing happened so I took it in again. About 8 months later it happened again. Now I purchased a new car because I drive 82 miles a day to work and back. And now, it happened again. 4 times within a 2 year period. Now because of the mileage, if I want it fixed, I have to pay for it. So how much is it?? Well they dont know because in order to give me a price, they have to look at the vehicle. They are unable to determine the price of the part needed and add it to their labor charges to give me a ball park idea of it will cost. So I send an email to the management team who calls me to let me know they cant replace the part for me for free, even though they know it is defective, but they are willing to let me trade it in and put me in a newer model Nissan that doesnt have any defects. Now if this is how they treat their loyal customers when something goes wrong, why on earth would I buy another car from them???

Having owned Lexuses for years, I recently purchased a New 2013 Nissan Altima S, with 18 miles on it for my daughter to take to college. She drove the car home when the MIL light went on. I notified Carriage Nissan in Gainesville Georgia and was told it must be a loose gas cap. I was told to continue to drive the car. After 1 week and 700 miles, I took the car in for service and was told I need a new transmission.I contacted Nissan Consumer affairs and stated my displeasure and asked specifically that the car be replaced. After about 15 days, I was notified by Nissan that they would extend the car warranty to 8 years/120k miles with a gold preferred package and Oil/ Gas/Tire rotation service package for 2 years. It was more or less a take it or leave it proposition. I took the package and will pay $50 to transfer it to a new owner since I will be putting the car up for sale.I will never recommend or purchase another Nissan product again

Nissan quietly extended the warranty for the CVT (transmission) from 5 year
Nissan quietly extended the warranty for the CVT (transmission) from 5 years/60,000 miles to 10 years/120,000 because of all the problems people are having, everything from shaking to accelerating at stop signs. Its a genuine safety concern. My wifes 2008 Nissan Rogue has the same problem. We took it in for service and they replaced the transmission. However, theyre charging us $2,700 for a new transfer case, a transfer case thats included in the original powertrain warranty that connects to the transmission. The mechanic at Nissan of Bourne in Massachusetts tried to tell me the problem started with the transfer case and not the transmission. I find this hard to believe since Nissan is obviously having issues with the transmission, or else they wouldnt have had to extend the original warranty. There is no reason why Nissan should be charging customers for their own substandard parts. To replace the transmission but not the transfer case which is part of the transmission, is flat-out dishonest. Now well have to spend money we dont have because Nissan wont live up to its own warranty on parts they know are bad. There shouldve been a recall in the first place for safety reasons, but Nissan is trying to mitigate their losses at the expense of their customers. This is not right and it should be addressed.

I took my vehicle to Nissan Montclair for inspection because the airbag light was flashing on the dashboard. Upon inspection, they informed me that the 2 front passenger sensors underneath the seat were broken. They stated that they would not fix the issue unless I pay for repairs since they insist that I caused the damage which is absolutely absurd. The comments on the report state Right front seat damaged due to objects underneath the seat. Attached is an image of the broken sensors and my toddlers plastic snack container which they claimed caused the damage.

When I get into my vehicle it may take me up to 30 minutes to get it into gear to even go anywhere. I purchased a new car because I wanted reliable transportation. Well, Nissan isnt a reliable transportation. I wouldnt recommend this vehicle to my worst enemy. The customer service is awful, everyone lies to your face. I am appalled at the whole situation. Number one, we purchased a new 2013 Nissan Juke from Peltier Nissan in Tyle
Number one, we purchased a new 2013 Nissan Juke from Peltier Nissan in Tyler Texas. The salesman really tried to sell us on the Gold extended warranty program, representing that it would take over when the manufacturers warranty ended, and would cover such things as the motor. They have not been making us aware of all recalls, and in fact, it was my Google research that turned up the timing chain recall, when my wife complained it was making an odd sound. I didnt know there had already been a class action lawsuit filed about this very issue, and presumably, the recall was activated AFTER they were sued. While our vehicle was in for that repair, the drivers seat was ripped by someone there, and they refused to take the responsibility, and were demanding WE pay for the torn seat. I contacted people higher up and we were able to get the seat tear repaired and even though they told us they had to order a new seat cover, after we received the car back, I could see where a repair was made in the seat cover, so it would appear, they were not being completely truthful. Around 70,000 miles or so, my wife, who drives a lot as part of her work, told me that the vehicle was going 70 mph, and suddenly started losing power and depressing the accelerator would not increase the decreasing speed. At the same time, she got a Service Engine light and she called the Peltier NISSAN dealer where she purchased the car. They told her over the phone it would most probably be covered under warranty and they would give her a loaner car. In the next day or so, she was told that the loaner car was now a rental car and she would have to pay for the Turbo, as the extended warranty department was saying the oil was not viscous enough (first tech) and then the second tech said the oil was too viscous (and burned). We had to rent a car from a national chain for a week. Were very much inconvenienced, and had to pay thousands of dollars to get the vehicle back from the dealership. From checking online, there are many other Nissan products that have had the bearings / Turbo to go bad prematurely, and it looks like the techs fall back on the viscosity of the oil problem. An interesting fact was that during repair at Peltier Nissan, when the techs received the new turbo, from the OEM supply place, that turbo was defective right out of the box. We made the representative at Nissan in Tennessee aware of this on the phone with the tech standing right by us, and she didnt seem to care. They were holding the line that somehow, it was OUR fault that THEIR product failed prematurely. It is not known if the bearings they are using are failing prematurely due to metal fatigue or some problem with the metals they are made from, or if there are design flaws in the turbo / engine that are causing these failures. My wife kept proper levels of oil in the car, changed the oil, and they should reimburse us for repairs and the one week rental car expense. Personally, I will make it known to everyone I meet that Nissan and their extended warranty company, are screwing customers, and advise no one to purchase either a Nissan or their GOLD EXTENDED WARRANTY.

I purchased a pre-owned certified 2013 Nissan Pathfinder about 1.5 years ago and it was a terrible purchase. I have spent a few thousands of dollars on this car on top of having purchased an extended warranty. There were at least two recalls on this car that were addressed after I purchased the car, two window motor failures within the first year, the compressor from the AC is in the process of being replaced. I will say that these repairs were covered; however, I have had to pay a few thousands for items that were considered normal wear and tear which some items I didnt expect to have to cover so soon after purchasing the car and considering it was a certified car. Overall, I am so disappointed in my purchase and I do not plan on owning another Nissan car again.

I love the color, interior, leather and heated seats and all the safety features like air bags and warning lights and symbols. I also like the moon roof and navigation system and love the fact that it shows the air in my tires. However, I wish my car has a bigger screen for navigation and a better camera. I would also like better instructions on how to use the electronics. I also resent that I have to pay to update my navigation system. This should be included. I dont like the fact that Nissan is monitoring my car as well. But still, I have had great service from Nissan.

My payment is way too high for what I can afford since DAY 1. NMAC will NOT work with me regarding possibly modifying the terms of my loan. They dont care. Representatives there are very nasty. No notes was ever noted when I call. I seem to explain my story over and over again. Now nearly sinking clearly into a state of bankruptcy - JUST FOR THIS LOAN/CAR - Im sick to my stomach. In this day and age, you would think auto creditors would WANT to work with you - have a little bit of understanding and compassion to try and make it work. Nissan does NOT. I will NEVER recommend or purchase another Nissan product as long as I breathe and walk this earth. Ive made mistakes in my life - but this one was by far, the worst Ive ever done. Nissan complaint: Where do I begin, well let me start by saying the car buy
Nissan complaint: Where do I begin, well let me start by saying the car buying experience was amazing and the sales representative was amazing. Fast forward 71 days and the nightmare begins. So I bought a brand new 2021 Nissan Rogue in January and of course it was still cold. However as it warmed up and I needed to use the AC I realized the drivers vents would blow warm or room temperature air while the passenger side would be freezing cold even when set to the exact same temperature. I called Jack Ingram Nissan in Montgomery Alabama where I purchased my car and advised them of the issue. They set an appointment for the following week for me to bring the car in to be fixed, or so I thought. When I dropped my car off I was told even though I brought in an SUV they would only be able to put me in an Altima, though I was disappointed I went with it. To my surprise when I reached the vehicle I was to use it was filthy! Being that we are still in the midst of a pandemic I went back in and refused to take that vehicle. They then Provided me with another Altima. The next day I called 3 or 4 times to see what had been done to fix my car. Finally around 3 pm I received a call saying they could not detect any issue and that I could come and pick my car up. I was told that the temperature shown was not per vent, but the temperature in the entire car. This didnt seem accurate because one of the selling points was the dual climate control, but it was a Friday and due to the size of my family I couldnt afford to be in the loaner car any longer. So I went and picked up my car... I tried to chalk it up to maybe the car didnt do for them what it had been doing with me. When I pulled out of the dealership to head home, the drivers side was blowing heat to the point that I began to sweat. I made a U-turn and went back to the dealership and demanded to speak with someone to show them what was happening and see another vehicle like mine do the same. After waiting 15 minutes, the representative came out and witnessed exactly what I was referring to and to my surprise he seemed surprised which makes me feel like my car hadnt even been looked at in the 2 days it had been there. We then sat in another Rogue to see if this is indeed normal and what do you know the other car did NOT have the same issue proving that this is not normal for this make and model. They sent another representative out who appeared to be a manager and he proceeded to insult my intelligence by insisting it was operating as it should. I told them both that I was not satisfied and I would like it fixed. His solution was for me to turn my driver temp down and passenger temp up which made both sides blow the same temperature. I advised them that that was only a bandage not a solution. I bought a new car and I expected it to operate as it should. The representative then offered to reopen the ticket and assured me that he would be reaching out to me with a solution by Wednesday. WELL TODAY IS THURSDAY! No word from Jack Ingram. I called Nissan yesterday evening and filed a consumer complaint, the rep called today and said that Jack Ingram would be calling me within the hour to set up a time for my car to be reevaluated. That was 4 hours ago. At this point I dont know what to do, but I do know that I will never do business with Nissan and definitely not with Jack Ingram if they do not resolve this matter! On a lighter note the sales team there is amazing and after speaking with the sales manager. I will hopefully be able to have a SUV as a loaner whenever the service team can get it together and FIX MY CAR!

There is no doubt in my mind that Nissans consumer affairs department has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. The lack of concern regarding the safety issues that I am having with my 2013 Nissan Altima (i.e., blind spot warning system, voice activation to use phone, updates and use of navigation system) and the disrespectful and belligerent way that I have felt that Nissans consumer affairs department has acted toward me will cause me to never want to purchase another Nissan.I upgraded from a 2001 Maxima to a new 2013 Altima for its safety features. Many of those safety features have not worked properly since the day I took delivery of the car. I have told my local dealership about issues that I am having when I have brought the car to them for regular oil changes. It appears that they have failed to document my issues. I am waiting for the dealership where I purchased the car/have it regularly serviced, to do something about my issues. Hopefully, the dealership can restore my trust in Nissan and resolve the safety issues with my car.I write this review so hopefully Nissan consumer affairs department learns from my experience. I also want to advise others to be certain to tell your Nissan service department about EVERY issue you are having with your car no matter how insignificant it may seem. Plus, be certain that the service department has documented every issue and that YOU SEE IT IN WRITING. I conclude by saying, I am not certain that Nissans consumer affairs department is there to help you as a consumer.

I purchased a second Nissan vehicle from National Motors on 12/17/2013. I had to trade in my previous 2009 Nissan Altima Coupe because the car would not start. I changed the battery and received three jump starts and the vehicle would not turn on. I found out later that the Nissan Manufacturer was aware of a steering lock issue and did not recall the vehicle or notify customers of the vehicle that this issue would occur. The same date I purchased the second vehicle from National Motors, I noticed my locks did not work. The driver side door unlocked from the outside using the key, but the other three doors would not respond to the key, only making the locking noise. I contacted Dwight, a car sales man and was told my locks would be fixed once the locks were ordered. They would fix my tail light and the locks because the tail light also had an issue. In January, Dwight advised that the locks were on back order but should arrive within another two weeks after the call. I called the dealership every week for a status update on the locks and continued to get the run around. Dwight stated someone from the dealership would call me in regards to the locks on 2/13/14 after stating he was no longer dealing with this anymore. No one called. Last week, 2/18-2/20 I was advised by Dwight that the owner of the dealership, Brian, decided to no longer fix my locks. Dwight stated that the locks were ordered and Brian returned the locks to the warehouse stating that he was no longer going to repair the doors. My father contacted the dealership on 2/21/14 and John advised that I go to my local Best Buy to get a remote sensor. On 2/22/14 I was told by a Best Buy Installer that the sensor would not fix the locks because there is something wrong with the car. Since the key opens one of the doors, the installer stated that the remote sensor is not the issue. There is something wrong with the doors. John ** then stated to me and the installer of Best Buy that the dealership was made aware of the issues with the door prior to my purchase and still decided to sell the car to me. There is no information on the website stating the door is defective nor is it reflected in the contract or discounted from the price of the car. This same day, the Best Buy installer contacted John and told him that the locks would not be fixed by Best Buy. John told me to come to the dealership to trade the car because they would not fix the locks. Unfortunately, throughout this ordeal and the back and forth between me and the dealership, my finance company has not received the first payment which was due on 2/11/14. I was afraid of making the payment because I was not sure if I would be able to keep the car or not. The locks not working is a safety issue and deceptive for the dealer to even think to allow a consumer to purchase the vehicle at full price without advising of the issues with the car. The date of 2/22/14, the owner Brian would not allow me to test drive a vehicle until a sales man had his appointment. I waited two hours for the sales rep even though his appointment didnt come in until two hours after I had already waited. The owner Brian continued to laugh and eat his food in the back as if I was not waiting to test drive a car. During this instance, I was still not offered any accommodations for my situation. This situation has caused me a lot of time, energy, and credit. I have contacted Nissan through the Better Business Bureau and they refuse to help me, even though this issue has occurred with thousands of Nissan customers. I will continue to voice my experience until someone fixes my locks, refunds my deposit, or trades this vehicle. This experience is a reason I will NEVER buy from Nissan again nor will I ever buy a car from this dealership. Nissan should offer extended warranty for situations that are beyond the customers control. Based on their response that I do not qualify for the issue to be resolved through them because the car is a 2009 is absolutely ridiculous. I will NEVER deal with Nissan again!

I leased a 2014 Pathfinder May of 2014. My gas mileage was very poor. At 2500 miles, I was averaging 8 to 9 miles to the gallon. The car is rated at 19 city and 25 highway. I mentioned it to the service department and he said I need to get more miles on the engine and that it would improve. Well I dont expect to get 19 mpg but at least 15 to 16 mpg. I now have 11,000 miles on the car and am averaging a big 10.1 to 10.3 city and 12.6 highway. I am not a lead foot driver. I took it to my dealership and they said they would check it out correct any problems they find. After having the car all day, they claim there is nothing wrong with my car. Is 12.6 highway send up a red flag or what. My friend has the exact same car as myself, same model, year, and engine. He averages 15.9 city and 18.2 highway with his a/C on. I mentioned this to my dealer, they said to call Nissan consumer affairs rudely. Well I did, they tried to tell me maybe its the way I drive and look at my book from Nissan to get some tips on how to drive to get better gas mileage. What kind of tips can I get for highway driving? Your foot basically stays in one position driving on the turnpike at 65 to 70 mph. The woman at consumer affairs said to take it to another Nissan dealer for a second opinion and if they find nothing wrong then Im basically stuck with what I have. She also said the gas estimates are just that an estimated mpg. Does 12.6 mpg come even close to the 25 mpg rating of Nissan. If I dont get any solution from Nissan then I will put big lemons on the car with gas mileage I am getting and park it in front of the dealership. Maybe it will get someones attention. Well, thats where I stand at this point.

And their customer service people will overtalk you on the phone and shut you down. Very RUDE! Do not get a Nissan lease, its a scam!

In August of 2014 I purchased a year end Model Altima, my trade was a 2011 Nissan rogue for which I still owed 13000 on. I was given more than I owed on the trade. The sale from this point upon hindsight was extremely sketchy. There was no negotiation on the price of the new car. They simply presented you with 3 payment plans and dollar amounts for repayment so as the price of the vehicle was never mentioned. (There was zero negotiation.) We were just simply taken advantage of because of the excitement we had of owning the new vehicle... Forward to today, we are looking to turn the 2 vehicles we own into 1 vehicle but upon looking up the value of the Altima we would be 7000 under water with its current value. Almost impossible. I can see a thousand or 2 but 7 is just wrong and this dealership is just extremely bad and sketchy. If I were you, I would look elsewhere or consider yourself married til your final payment with what you buy from them. They will prey on you and take advantage of you through their sales tactics. Its sad. They should look to make good on bad deals that people like me call them out on!!!

I took my 2013 rogue for brake shoes, check and told the service advisor that when the car is stopped at a stop sign or signal lights, the car makes a noise like the motor is falling apart. He stated he would check it. Next day he told me brake shoes are OK and that noise is normal. He said the brake shoes needed cleaning but would continue to make that noise. The strange noise that I also was concerned about, he stated it was from having the air on and the gas needs to idle more to keep it running. He said both noises are normal and it will always do that. I am disgusted and so I am trying to trade the car in. First Nissan car that I am not happy with!

I needed a part for my Nissan Versa that was on national back order. For almost 3 weeks West Hills Nissan in Moon Township, PA and Nissan North America treated my problem with no care and refused to give me a used car or a rental car. After talking to about a half dozen people and complaining they got some guy named Angelo from Nissan Corporate to help me. He told me Nissan parts often go on national back order and this was a common thing. He said it was too bad I didnt rent a car because he would have reimbursed me - although I was told they wouldnt when this nightmare started. Emails sent to the president of customer quality - Brad Thacker went unanswered. Ill never walk into another Nissan dealership again.

My 2009 Nissan Altima just died on me one evening. I was stranded so I had it towed across the street to a Shell station. I did tried calling the closest Nissan dealership which was several miles away but they were closed. I have been paying for an extended warranty mind you thousand of dollars and they told me even if the part was covered they wouldnt reimburse me because I took it to a garage other than Nissan. This is absolute bull. Theyd rather I do that vs go right across the street late at night stranded. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER NISSAN AGAIN. Weve purchased our Nissan Primera 1.9 dci on June 29, 2007 in Hungary as a new car. Dealers Address: Nissan Balogh, H-4431, Nyregyhza, Lujza utca 19, Tel: +36 42 595 115, Fax: +36 42 595 114,). Our former car was a Nissan Primera, too .Last week we were going home by car with my two little sons when suddenly thick smoke came from every vent of the car. We could hardly breathe and my children were shocked. It was really frightening and the air bag alarm went on. Thanks to my composure I switched everything off and we left the car. I called a trailer as I didnt dare to restart the car. They took it to the Nissan service. It turned out that due to an electric circuit, all the wires got fire and they burnt down. I simply dont understand why the circuit breaker (fuse) did not work? The Hungarian Nissan service says that they cant give a proper explanation for this failure. My sons and my life were at risk. What if the fuel gets fire and the car explodes? We bought this car as a family car as we believed that a Nissan is a reliable and safe car for a family with kids. Now my cost would be about 300.000-400.000 HUF (1.000,-1.400, ). Im not able and not willing to pay that amount for the repair as I believe that it is a faulty construction. I want an explanation for the accident and a refund for my loss!

Truck keeps dying intermittently, replaced the battery, still happens, left me out in the cold numerous times, been flat-bedded to dealership numerous times, also gives me problems detecting the key-fobs saying no key detected. I asked Nissan to get me out of the lease since the truck is unreliable and unsafe, and they have been giving me excuse after excuse. While driving down the highway, a tire started to deflate. I called the dealership and let them know it was deflating for unknown reasons and they said even though I hadnt purchased the tire warranty that they would patch it and I would have no issues. So I brought it in and with one look they said they wouldnt patch it and I had to buy a replacement because it showed wear on the sidewall. Which it didnt have wear, the dirt was just not as noticeable after being almost flat for an eighth of a mile until I could pull off the highway to put the donut on. It cost me $290, as the rest of the vehicle is under warranty I didnt want to risk any interference of that by having 3rd party work done on it. But even under manufacturers standards it is covered since the tread wear is 1/32 off of brand new and there was only 8000 miles on the car. Their consumer affairs dept. called me back and basically said since I didnt pay extra for a warranty on the tires of the brand new vehicle that there was nothing they would do. But yet the tire they put on to replace automatically had a warranty. Am I the only one baffled by this logic? I will never buy another Nissan ever. They are rude and condescending and awful at listening and helping the people paying for their salary.

If I could rate Nissan a 0 I would. All around terrible service from the advisors up to management. Brought my vehicle into Pine Belt Nissan of Tomsriver NJ. I had what I believed to be a stress crack across my windshield. The advisor along with the service manager both looked at it, and clearly said they could NOT find any point of impact, obviously with that being said it would be a factory defect. They sent all my info along with photos to Nissan corporate. Who I went back and forth with to have it covered since the glass had NOT been hit. Anyway it had been denied all across the board. Not a single person could provide an explanation on why the glass broke, of course they only work there but know NOTHING. I even asked them if they could Pay half the cost. Again was told NO. I would of happily taken aftermarket glass didnt have to come from the factory. Im guessing Nissan knows nothing of “goodwill”. Customer service is TERRIBLE! They cant even do the right thing for their customers, they would much rather lose them instead. Nissan is pathetic. I would never ever lease or purchase anything from this awful awful company again! Everyone else tell your friends and family! All they could come up with was, Sorry car is not in warranty, spare me Nissan. I will never serve my car in any Nissan service center again. Nissan does not do the right thing and thats the bottom line! Poor product and terrible employees.

I am very disappointed to come on here and do this. I bought a 2012 Nissan Versa in 2014. I loved that car. At the time the dealership seemed nice. It was all handshakes and how can we help you. Fast forward till today and they are the single worst entity I have ever had to deal with. Background: I unfortunately was in a car accident (no one was hurt) but my car was totaled. I wasnt an idiot, I had all the insurance I needed including GAP. I put in all my paperwork, work with the loan company and my insurance and the GAP company. Everything was going fine. Then, the woman from the GAP company emailed me saying that Nissan was insisting that I received the Security Plus extended service contract for free (which it clearly states on my Finance contact I was charged $935 for). I think to myself, not a big deal, I have my copy of the finance contract. I had already sent it to her, so I didnt see a problem. But there was a huge problem. The Gap company gets a cancellation quote for these services. But since Nissan was insisting I got it for free she couldnt get a quote. So, she calls Nissan, Nissan tells her I have to call. I call them. They say I have to speak to the dealership (which I am not at all in close proximity to at this point), but they are more than happy to contact the dealership and have them reach out to me. They said it would take probably a day before I heard back. Well, I never heard back from Edison Nissan. I called the woman back, but she stopped answering her phone weeks ago. She also will not return any of my messages. Her name is Janeesha, run the other way if you have to talk to her. This is a unique thing I have run into with this. I called the dealership myself trying to speak to someone in Finance a few times. Well, what they always do is transfer me to someone with a full mailbox. I cant leave message (not that I think they would call me back if they did get my message), the phone doesnt even ring. I call back and when the sales person answers (there is not published number for Finance because why would anyone need that), I ask for a direct line. They cant give it to me.So, I have upped the game on them, so now its their turn to up the game (I guess, that is what it feels like, like they are playing games with me and my finances). They say, well, I can transfer you to reception and they should have numbers they can give you. Great I say, Put me through. I thank the guy on the other end of phone, he transfers me to a voicemail, that says for me to leave a message, then promptly hangs up the phone so I cant leave a message. Its a shame. Their cars are awesome in my opinion. But I would never ever buy another car from Nissan because I would have to deal with a horrible dealership or a terrible phone support team. These people are only interested in you when you are ready to give them money. I get that, I do. Im not trying to vilify them, I know theyre profit driven like any company. But I find the fact that I cant get 5 minutes of a single persons time when I actually need them to do something for me! I knew what I wanted to buy when I went in, I made the sale very easy on them. I test drove, I was satisfied, I bought. Now I need something from them and they dont give a damn. Never again, Nissan, never again. I love how at the bottom of my Finance Contract it reads: Customer/Lending in Truth Contract. Except for when its provided as proof and no one cares what it says.

I would like to thank you for the most demeaning experience of my life. After approximately (3) weeks of being told to come pick up my car (3) different times, paying for insurance on a car I was unable to drive off the lot, producing every piece of information/documentation requested via e-mail and/or in person, never receiving one correspondence to e-mails sent to Ms. ** in the finance department; sitting in the lobby waiting to meet with the finance department for over (2) hours on (3) separate occasions, only to be told by the car salesmen I needed one more thing and come back tomorrow since it was now after 8:00pm; on one occasion I told the salesman I didnt have much time because I had to pick up my kids from practice by 8:30 I walked out at 9 because he was taking too long. I still sat there for over two hours when he assured me it would only take (15) minutes. On a different occasion I left to get something to eat and brought back dinner for the salesmen since we both had a long day; then being accused of falsifying documents by Ms. ** in the finance department because I misunderstood when she asked me for my PG&E bill I thought she needed Proof of Residency. I had no idea she needed to see the balance owed. When the salesmen explained this to me I apologized for the confusion and asked if they had a computer/printer and I replaced the document within two minutes; next, the salesmen informed me that I needed to lower the balance owed on my PG&E, which I did by making a $200.00 payment and making arrangements for the balance thing next morning; the manager called me and apologized since he had no idea I was still going through this he assured me this would be taken care of once he spoke to the owner tomorrow! All I could do at that point was cry after having to explain what I had been through and was STILL going through; 3 weeks later, I finally met with Keith in Finance 2/14/16 to sign the documents (they removed Ms. ** from the deal since she was so rude and cold to me the ONE time I actually did speak to her and the accusation/lie she told when they had to speak to her about how I was treated. I guess that was her justification; I left with the car. Happy, not so much humiliated and stressed, most definitely! I asked Keith if they could repair damage (a small crack) on the car, he replied yes. Justin (my salesmen) scheduled an appointment for me.When I showed up at the service department to drop off the car during my lunch hour, I was told I had no appointment and they dont make these types of repairs there so Id would have to wait until the salesmen came in at 2. I called the office to inform them that I would be late coming back to work. As I waited an hour for Justin, I was once again embarrassed when approached by a different salesmen. I said I was waiting to find out about having a crack on the car repaired, he asked, Why? Its not like you bought a $30,000 car. Then! After having the car for just over (2) weeks I was contacted by Keith in the finance department on a Sunday afternoon, letting me know the financing had fallen through and they needed the car back by Monday (the next day). I was in Los Angeles for my daughter. I stepped out of our hotel room so my kids wouldnt see me crying again. I contacted the finance company directly. SHE INFORMED ME THAT I NEEDED TO BRING DOWN THE BALANCE ON PG&E BILL BY $600.00, which I did just to keep my car for me and my children.Mind you when I first arrived after being convinced by a DJ who promotes events held on the lot to come there because everyone is so wonderful. The very first thing I said to the salesmen is, I have been through so much financially. I have horrible credit, a $1,500.00 down payment, and a job that I have been at for almost 16 years. If you cant help me I totally understand. He assured me that he would do the best he could. He ran my credit, laid out different terms so I said, Thank you, I cant meet those terms and left. They called me back saying THEY COULD HELP ME. Had I known I would go through so much humiliation, stress, tears and two migraines I would NEVER have gone back! I am a single mother. Paid once a month. I had to give all I had at that moment to keep the car (which included the first months payment I had set aside and money to get us through the month. I will be late on my first payment.

2014 Altima SL V6 - New transmission at 11k still has issues. They will tell you they dont have a problem with transmissions but mine shutters at 20-30 and 57-70, very disappointed in Nissan! Now 8k miles and will be trading it in on another brand. 2012 Nissan Altima, purchased new, runs like a new one! 100k miles. 1999 Nissan Altima 96k miles runs great! So if you can see, they have a transmission problem and are only replacing if it sets off a code! So the shudder is a normal feature they should advertise in their commercials. DONT BUY NISSAN SENTRA - I say sentra because thats what I own. Purchased a 2013 sentra and the car haven been back to the dealer more than I have been to the doctor during the same period. Too many problems. As of Aug 16th 2016 less than 34,000K miles: Oil leak steering rack, CVT slips and poor acceleration, Brake noise, Shock replaced below 20k miles, Air bag light - countless, Dead battery - replaced 3 times in 3 years - I tired of telling dealer its not the battery. Stupid! Smelly AC - Like dead animal, Rear bumper color changed... parked in garage all the time... sun isnt a factor. Work from home. DONT BUY.On the issue of dead battery... well I went to two funerals out of the country in July and Sept 2014. Gone for 3-4 days each time. Arrive well guess what? Car didnt start.. In October of the same year went on a cruise Friday got back Monday... wont start. August 12th 2016 went to get an oil change. Got out of the car at the dealer, give the key to the guy at the desk. Ten minutes later he walks inside... Sir do you have a set of keys on you? NO...I just give it to you I repiled. Rep. replied.. The car wont start.Okay... they jumped it... which it started. Did battery test etc... said all is good. Saturday morning it started... just wanted to check. Wife and I decided to go for dinner selected a place... one hour drive away from home. Not just for the food okay - for the drive and spend time together. Well after we got dressed around 6pm ready to go... car wont start. Ok I got a jump and off we go. After 11pm we decide to head home, got to the parking lot car wont start. Finally close to midnight someone give us a jump.. it started and we left for home. Got home without any issues.Next morning 9am sunday... well not even a jump could help it... it was DEAD but I must say it was trying to turn over but it couldnt get there. Lights started flashing, beeping etc... like Christmas. Finally after trying well there wasnt any juice left. I GIVE UP... THERE GOES MY SUNDAY. Called Nissan Monday morning. Customer service said they wont get it towed. I had to pay out of my pocket... that did it. I let loose on the rep. but after apologized to her not her fault... but I was pissed. I told her let a manger called me. They said 24hrs. So 2 days wait... now I used my AAA and towed the vehicle. Battery changed again. Car is running for now. Today I missed the mgr call. I returned the call and left a message....

Dropped off my 2013 Nissan Versa for the CVT recall. After I left and got onto the 101 freeway my car went from 60 MPH to about 10 right in front of a Big Rig truck. We crawled toward the nearest exit and went back to the dealer. They said it needed a new transmission and would be 4000 dollars. At 51,000 my warranty was up since it had been a few months over 5 years. They said it was still driveable since I didnt have the cash to fork over so we left and almost got hit as the car stopped on La Brea and Fountain. As I was in extreme distress and by the grace of God we were able to pull into an urgent care lot and the ladies said we could park the car there until we got a tow truck. This was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me and now I am unable to go anywhere as I have no car. Nissan... SHAME ON YOU!!!

My car has been held at Nissan repair shop for 30 days, for a faulty transmission, that a lot of the public has an issue with. I spoke with Nissan customer service (Katey **) on 4/25/2018 case **. I was promised a 2 month credit to my account, for the time lost, and money by not being able to drive my car. I was suppose to receive an email on 4/26/2018 with documents, for this action to proceed with the credit to my account. I NEVER received them yet and its now May 10, 2018. I called customer service today at 6:45 pm, and Jazmine the representative answered with a nasty attitude, consistently asking me for a payment, when Nissan owes me a credit. She began speaking over me, and would not allow me to answer any of her questions. I then requested to speak with a Manager, she put me on hold, then I heard her mumble a under her breath, then she disconnected the call on me. I called back, and I immediately requested a Manager, his name was Chuck, he also answered with a nasty tone, and was basically flipping me, Yeah yeah maam whats your issue. I then asked if they were happy with their jobs, because I am an innocent customer, who does not deserve the DISRESPECT, I have spent nearly 20,000 with this company. Came in to look at vehicles on 5/23/2015 to this dealership. Liked the 2015 Nissan Murano. Traded in our car and purchased the vehicle. Since the purchase (at the time of vehicle delivery) there was a defect with the center console. After 2 service visits and a vehicle in service for a whole day it is clear that Service Department does not know how to fix... No Parts available. Plus why would I buy a car that needs service from the delivery time? After complaints with ** (Dealership General Manager) I was given a $400 service department credit and a replacement Murano (unwind from one and into another.)The 2nd Murano did not have the console issue, but had a drivers door issue... The door would not properly close, would not align to other doors and seemed like the car has either been in a repair or an accident or simply was not assembled correctly. Same thing. Brought the vehicle in for service. 2 days in the body shop the vehicle is returned back with some door adjustments, broken door molding, need new parts, will need car into service again and a 2nd conversation with ** (general manager) is now on a different tone. Essentially he has said that we have helped you out... Cant help you again other than repair, repair and more repair... And thats why there is warranty. Not to mention that both times I have brought in the vehicle for service I did not receive any paperwork as to the vehicle taken to service or what was done to it, or who worked on it. As it stands now I am extremely disappointed with the purchase, with the vehicle, with the dealership and its management. However I do appreciate the sales person ** for his time and assistance with the process. And I doubt anyone should buy a Nissan from this or any other Mossy Nissan dealership so that you will need to take it to service for immediate warranty repairs... Buyers beware. Today is June 25th, 2015. Still waiting for door molding parts (Which are clearly not going to fix the problem anyways, but someone at Nissan or Mossy Nissan decided that the molding is an issue after door adjustment and they want to replace this first) 3 weeks and on just waiting on parts.Should have left the vehicle at the dealership, but they gave me a Nissan Versa with all stickers for sale as a loaner to drive. Contacted Nissan Consumer affairs... Pretty useless experience as well. They are telling me that they are in communication with the dealership and thats it. Still no paperwork provided for any service performed on the vehicle to date. DO NOT BUY VEHICLES FROM MOSSY... This can happen to you. A reputable dealership would not sell a 40k vehicle with defects and let customers repair vehicles. Imagine if you bought a Brand new vehicle and immediately had to take to service. For weeks. This is obviously last time I bought a Nissan and the last time I bought a vehicle from any Mossy Dealerships. This is how a company lost a customer. And none of my friends and family will even consider Nissan or Mossy Nissan.

I have been reading the problems with the Nissans... WOW... When I bought mine it had 46,000 on it, that was 18 months ago. I dropped my car Nissan Altima 2012 off Monday and since they didnt have it done by Tuesday they offered me a rental for free. It is Wednesday and I just picked up my car. I have had problems with this car from the get go... I am now on transmission #3 in 18 months. They have never charged me a penny and our dealership out here is amazing! I have called Nissan North America yesterday and they said they would call me today by 5:00. I had leukemia and had a bone marrow transplant, the hospital I see my doctor at is 120 miles away. With the first transmission I would be doing approx 75 mph in the fast lane and all of a sudden nothing. It completely shut down. I have been nearly (could have been fatal) car crashes 3 times. You know how hard it is going from the fast lane to the slow lane with no power. Anyway, I feel terrible for you all paying so much money out. I have been lucky, on my first transmission I was 300 miles from the warranty expiring. I wish you all the best. I am afraid to drive my car now. Fingers crossed for Nissan North America.

I own a 2009 Nissan Rogue and my transmission just went out. I understand completely that a vehicle is a vehicle and all vehicles will have problems every now and then. What I dont understand is why the heck is Nissan still marketing their vehicles with the CVT transmissions? I know a lot of people who owned a Altima, Maxima, Murano and I asked the question of why did you guys get rid of your vehicles? Their responses were they started to hear grinding noises coming from the transmission and the transmission would idle past 2k rpms at a complete stop and once they take off the transmission would change gears so hard that it felt like they were being rear ended and so they didnt trust the CVT transmission and got rid of their vehicle before any major mechanical issues occurred. Three weeks ago I began experiencing the same problem and Sunday June 14th I went to turn into the grocery store parking lot and tried to give it a little more gas and all it did was idle and then immediately my service engine light kept flashing. I had the vehicle towed to a Nissan dealership and it was confirmed my transmission went out and to top it off they are non repairable. So not only do I not have a vehicle but I am also making a very decent payment on the vehicle and my warranty has expired. To everyone out there looking to purchase a Nissan. I highly recommend that you do not buy their products until they discontinue the CVT transmissions. If youre interested in how Nissan vehicles look rather than the quality of the vehicle then have at it. Trust me when I say you will be glad you didnt purchase any of their vehicles with the CVT transmission. I only wish I wouldve done my homework before purchasing my vehicle.

My dad bought me my first car back in 2016. It was a pre-owned 2012 Versa straight from the dealership with about 60K miles. For the first two years it was great. In fact the best thing this car can offer is the fuel economy. But would I recommend it? NO. The car is extremely light, the doors sound like cheap hollow metal, doesnt even come with sun visor mirrors for Petes sake. You WILL feel unsafe in this car. Fast forward to 90K miles and the car started showing problems accelerating, the air conditioning would blow hot air EVERY 3-4 months (have gotten it fixed about 5 times now). Now that Im on about 103K miles the front dash starts violently rattling when parked, and the worst part, I cannot go faster than 60MPH without the car wobbling side to side and feeling as if the wheels are going to pop off. Since as long as I can remember getting the car it has always has the check engine light on AND the tire pressure light (despite inspecting, rotating and replacing tires, it just comes back on) and the check engine does go away after a service and then lights up immediately after. So, Nissan, IS THERE A RECALL OR WHAT! There have been lawsuits and a class action settlement open for CVT transmission problems, yet when I went TODAY to the dealership they said they dont have an open recall and I would have to pay it all out of pocket then handle it with the company for reimbursement or possibly an offer to get the car back. How about no? I will not be paying $5,000 to then SEE if Nissan will deal with the issue. The car isnt even worth 5 grand!!!

After a month taking it into the dealership, I contacted the dealer and found out they failed ordering the part. ******************************************************************************************************** Published on other sites: https://www.yelp.com/biz/nissan-of-queens-service-ozone-park ********************************************************************************************************I have been taking my 2014 Platinum pathfinder since August 2017 for issues with the vehicle jerking and giving trouble to start. I was told the pulley kit needed to be changed. The following week the suv would not turn on,once it was on the engine light came on. I took the truck to Nissan of Queens , left the truck there for 2 weeks till the transmission came in. When i got my vehicle back i saw my push bar was dented on the passenger side. I took the vehicle back on Monday because it was picked it up while they were closing up so rushing it was not noticed until i got home. The manager Ravi said they were not responsible for the dent. ( My vehicle is always parked in a private driveway and did not have any dents on it) . I called another manager there Sando about 6 times left messages till now i never got a call back. I took my truck back the following week Sept 6th for jerking issues and i saw now they take pictures of each vehicle that goes in for service. They told me they cannot find anything wrong so i contacted consumer affairs. After calling them 3 times i finally got an appt for 10/4/17 . I met with the consumer affairs and as i sat down with him he told me he was only there to discuss the truck. I then realized that the manager Ravi had briefed him on the dent on my truck which occurred on Nissan premises. He told me he would take the truck for a test drive and will let me know what the issues are once he returned. He came back and said he did not experience any issues and he couldnt do anything. I explained to him i spent over $50 K(paid off in 14 mths) on this truck which i only have 3 years now and i was having all the same issues as before. He then told me he would check the fluids after 45 mins he came back and said he found debris in the pan and he would need to order a new transmission. They gave me back my truck 10/4/17 with all the same issues. I left numerous messages for consumer affairs but have not gotten a call back as to when my transmission will be replaced. Now 10/17/17 my daughter got into a accident because when coming to a stop the truck started jerking and hit the vehicle in front of her. I left another message for consumer affairs and awaiting a call back. I am still driving a faulty vehicle and a accident occurred because the the cvt transmission jerking. This will be the 3 rd transmission in 3 mths. Nissan should not be selling vehicles with faulty transmission.

I leased a car in July of 2006. I received a property tax bill to pay in January. I got a signed and notarized affidavit stating that this vehicle was used for personal use only and that I did not live in the county where the property tax was being applied. In addition, the county where I purchased the vehicle and also reside does not charge property taxes. The first year was fine. I received another bill the second year and I submitted the same paperwork. NMAC claimed they never received it and that I owed them for taxes. I did not pay for it. The following year, I received another bill. When I submitted the forms again, I was told they could not accept them because I had not paid the previous years taxes. I just recently tried to refinance my home and my credit report is damaged because of this. I have tried calling to clear this mess up and was told rudely that this will not go away until it is paid. I submitted everything the company told me to do exactly and yet, this is still on my credit report. They have been extremely rude and have even hung up on me. I will never lease a vehicle again and I will never deal with Nissan again.

I have a 2010 Nissan Armada that began running poorly 2 months. I took it to the dealership and a secondary mechanic. Both said the engine needed to be replaced costing over $10,000. Likely cause is flex fuel. Warranty was for 5 years. Nissan will not offset the cost. No vehicle should need a new engine after 5 years unless its garbage.Upon contacting the Nissan corporate office regarding my 2010 Nissan Armada that needs its engine replaced - I was shuttled around to various representatives. None could answer my questions competently. Worse off - they would never give their true names. I purchased a pre-owned 2013 Nissan rouge 8 months ago. Very recently after driving for an hour when I get to a sign stop or an intersection, the car does not accelerate no matter how hard I hit the gas pedal. Cars behind me start honking, cussing, and I know that one of these days Im getting into an accident. Im waiting for the Consumer Affairs specialist to call me. I already took the car to an authorized Nissan service center and the mechanic confirmed its the CVT transmission. The car has 79k miles, no warranty and the extended warranty that Nissan offers does not include my VIN. I hope to get positive news from the specialist and Nissan will be paying for the repair cost or else I will have to file a lawsuit. Ive read so many complaints about this car and for Nissan to not take action, it is a shame, perhaps an accident, a lawsuit will make Nissan to take proper action to protect its customers.

I recently purchased a car from a Nissan Dealer and there was no mention about returning the car if you were not satisfied. I emailed the salesman who practically forced me to sign the deal and he has yet to respond. I was satisfied with the car until night time came and realized how important the extra features would have been. There are no power windows, no power locks, no light on the ignition keyhole, not even a mirror on the sun visor. Im basically paying for a 2015 glorified golf cart for the next 6 years. Im not saying I want to walk away completely from the deal because I know how much these clowns value their commission, but Id like to purchase a better car for the money.

I purchased a 2014 Nissan Versa Note at Gladstone Nissan. Navigation system
I purchased a 2014 Nissan Versa Note at Gladstone Nissan. Navigation system has never worked right & I spent 5 weeks taking it back & contacting dealership. They never had service handle my complaints but rather had the salesman troubleshoot to no avail. I no longer had the time to drive there & sit & especially since I did not give good survey results on Nissan survey - have been confronted by dealership employees including GM (Why would Nissan share that information that I was promised was anonymous only to be confronted personally & by phone? Nissan failed to honor their word & placed me in harms way. What was the purpose of the surveys - to punish the consumer who answers honesty?). No interest in resolving multitude of problems Ive had with the dealership, including getting my address correct, providing me with promised paperwork, deceptive practices in including other warranties with contract & being uncooperative in cancelling the contracts (see Edmunds.com consumer reviews - this is their standard). Worse yet, there are 2 recalls already - not even a month old. Nissan Consumer Affairs is a big waste of time & patronizing - they claimed they could not consider more actions because I do not have documented return visits for the car (once again, the dealership at fault) & did not return the car for recall campaigns (I did some 3 weeks prior to CA claim) at a different dealership. They have no course of action intended apparently except to not help the customer - who buys a new car which does not work as promised & identifies problem immediately. The other dealership ordered a replacement navigation system, except that they cant get them in because it is too new a car. So how am I to resolve a problem with a new car which Im stuck with when there is no one in the hierarchy of Nissan NA taking responsibility for their cars, dealerships and customer satisfaction promise? Now the ceiling in the car needs repaired. I would not recommend Nissan because they fail to support their guarantee and do nothing to resolve problems with their dealerships & car defects. I have logged some dozen hours in calls to no avail. I have new car payments on a limited income, poor health & a navigation system I purchased to navigate in a new area to get to many medical appointments/tests. Consequences of buying a Nissan: I have a new car that has a navigation screen that has pop-ups that block all visibility of the map & have expended hours lost, on the side of the road trying to clear it, and deteriorating health as a result. I have spent hours trying to contact third party vendors to cancel non-negotiated contracts & updating my mailing address because of incompetence & unethical designs of dealership. It is helpful to share my plight in social media to warn future buyers to steer away from the Nissan Versa Note, Nissan N.A., Gladstone Nissan, so that my experiences are not repeated.

I purchased a new Nissan pathfinder in 2005 and I did just had issues with it at 87k miles transmission broke and Nissan didnt want to take responsibilities for the repairs so I had to fix it myself. Exactly one year later the radiator broke and leaked coolant to the transmission and transmission broke again. This time Nissan said OK we are going to give you a free transmission, but we have to install it. I paid Nissan 4k dollars to install the transmission and 6 months later I had problems with the thermostat and I decide to exchange it and I promise to myself that I will never buy a Nissan vehicle in my life again. In the past I had purchased Nissan Sentra, Pathfinder 97, Armada, Nissan pickup hard-body and I just have Toyota and Chevrolet, and I am very happy with my vehicles.

The driver seat broke not shortly after I purchased the truck and has been replaced 3 times and is process of getting repaired for the fourth time. The rear end has popping sound when the brakes are applied and the list of issues continue to grow. I have gotten to the point that I scared to drive the truck let alone have family ride with me in it. I have been in constant contact with the dealership and consumer affairs. I have been very disappointed with Nissan and Bob Richards Nissan. My airbag light came on (not flashing). I was told that I had a sensor in the seat of the passenger that had gone bad. I was told that you could not replace the sensor only, but that you had to replace the whole seat to the tune of $4,300. My car doesnt even have electronic adjustments on the seat. After much discussion with Bob Richards Nissan and North Augusta, South Carolina and with consumer affairs for Nissan, I was told that I was out of warranty and that my extended warranty did not cover this. I am shocked that Nissan would not stand behind a safety feature on my car.I was told that my car had 90,000 miles on it, actually it has 99,090 miles on it and it was out of manufacture warranty. When I pick the car up I brought to their attention that my airbag light was not on anymore. I asked them did they disconnect something to cause the lights to go off and they said no that they could not do that. I told them that my light was not on anymore. One of the service guys said to the other one cant we just turn it back on. The other service guy said no we cannot do that. The technician who has been working on the car had reset the light and now it is off. I have driven about 60 miles and so far the light has not came back on. So, do I have a problem or not? What if I had given them $4,300 and did not even need to be fixed. The service guy wrote on my paperwork that he knew that the light has gone off and that the repairs still needed to be done. Well does it? I am very disappointed that Nissan or Bob Richards Nissan would not stand behind the safety feature on my car. I asked the service guy how many times something had to go bad on cars in order to have a recall on a feature, especially a safety feature. He said he did not know. I will never buy a Nissan again. I drove a Toyota Camry prior to this car and it had two hundred and eighty nine thousand miles on it in order to have a recall on a feature, especially a safety feature. He said he did not know. I will never buy Nissan again. I drove a Toyota Camry prior to this car and it had 289000 miles on it when I gave it to someone else and it is still on the road today. Next time I will buy Toyota, but not from Bob Richards Toyota. Again, I am disappointed and disgusted that a seat would cost $4,300.
