So I bought a 2014 Nissan Sentra with 40k miles. I learned how to drive a stick in a 04 Sentra so I really wanted a new version after I sold my 04. Anyways. After about 4 months of having the vehicle my take off and accelerating was slow, if not completely gone. It took forever just to hit 50mph and I better not be on the highway because the minute I hit a hill whatever speed Im going will decrease even with my foot completely on the gas. It was over the time for a oil change so I took it in to get done. Problem went away so I thought I was in the clear but then it came back the next day. I forgot to mention that the engine light and traction light would come on every other day.I went to the Nissan dealership in Florence, SC where my mother was just incase I needed to steal her car. They ended up having to keep my car for 2 days because the engine lights werent on and they couldnt get a error code. Eventually they figured out it was a electrical problem and my backup communication system was failing and because of the 2 issues my battery was being drained so I needed a new battery too. The price ended up being $533. I called Nissan, started a claim, and within 24 hours I received a call back stated my claim had been approved and Nissan was going to pay 90%. Whoop whoop. The only issue was it took 10 days for the dealership to receive their check. Now those 10 days do include weekends and the 4th of July. My claim was approved Wednesday but I couldnt get my car back until the following Saturday. Even though the dealership talked to consumer affairs they wouldnt give me my car back until they got their 90%. Anyways since it was 10 days when I finally came to get my car my tech just gave it to me and forgave my 10%. I ended up paying nothing at all.

I came across the mission of your company on your website. Since months I have serious and justified doubts on this mission. Let me explain: My Nissan Trail (1 year old - warranty) that I bought last year in January 2016 in Windhoek, Namibia has been under repair since 27 August 2016 until today (!) after an engine jamming. A long story of promises by the local Nissan dealer has been culminating in a statement by the dealer last Monday, 6 March 2017: We are sorry the engine has no compression and we have to bring it back to repair to the engine workshop. So I am waiting now for more than 7 months for my car with now not any prediction when it is going to be ready. And if it is could Nissan warrant that it is functioning? Engine repair is not standard anymore in Europe, but is overtaxed to customers in Africa. All this questions and more in detail I addressed in a written complaint to Nissan South Africa with not any answer so far. I hope you can address this mismatch between your mission and my experience as soon as possible. A frustrated customer.

This vehicle has been the best model that we have ever purchased. It is a 2003 model, but we have never had to have any major work done. The dealership had a reputation of honesty. The vehicle had a good look and when we test drove it, it drove so smoothly. We took it on back roads to try how it handled on curves and small potholes. The only thing I dislike is that the passenger side seatbelt locks as soon as the vehicle starts, with much discomfort until I release it and put it back on.

I sent my payment in 10/12/2011. I got a call from Nissan saying, I was late with my payment. I have never been late in my life, and it upset me to the point I could not function the rest of the day. I tried to make a payment over the phone, and was hung up on by Jorge. I was put on hold by another, for 45 minutes. On top of a late charge, which was not my fault, I was charged a processing fee. I am on social security only, and every penny counts. I also told them I never got a statement for November. It took over 1 1/2 hours to resolve this. Needless to say, I am really upset. Also I hate your automated system. It gets things wrong all the time. I just want to speak to a real person.

I have tried to open an online account to make lease payment 3 times. Every time, there is some issue. This time they wanted my account number. I dont walk around with my account number, and the letter they sent, has a lease number, which I guess, is not the same. When I called the cust. service number, I was put on hold so long, I finally hung up. In any event, you can bet your life that they would not of given me acct. number over the phone anyway. I like my new car, but being in cust. service myself, I find it laughable that I cannot find good cust. service anywhere. Based on these three call, which took up 3 lunch hours to try and complete, I WOULD NOT BUY ANOTHER NISSAN, NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND THEM EITHER... LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE SALE... Typical!!!

Bought a new truck in June of 2020. Within the first few months it had 2 radiator leaks, showed signs of a/c leaking and possible injector leak at the 1 and 3 cylinders due to dirt build up around them. After passing by police radar on the side of the road at 40 mph on speedometer it showed 37, 36, so 4 mph off. When I took it in to the dealership with the radiator leaking fixed one leak completely a loose screw on the radiator switched radiator cap from radiator to overflow slowed the leak ordered new radiator cap. While their computer was reset to attempt to fix speedometer. After reset at low speed 40 mph radar showed 39 mph. After getting past left and right at highway speeds used GPS speedometer which showed me only doing 72 sometimes 73.To reach 75 mph on GPS speedometer must get to 78 or 79mph on my dash. This greatly increases the mileage on the vehicle and runs the warranty out sooner also greatly reduces resale value of the vehicle. The first time I towed a trailer weighing 2200 pounds and a 24 hp compact tractor weighing less than 2200lbs the receiver hitch cracked and Nissan has done nothing to replace it! The last two things that was in the initial list of issues the battery terminals were never coated with corrosion inhibitor and the bed wasnt mounted properly leaving roughly a 1 inch gap of alignment from the side of the bed from the cab. So if you are looking down the truck from the tailgate instead of the bed blending into the can you see it bend inwards from the outside of the bed towards the drivers side of the truck. Well I had also complained about squeaking noises from the front end and was blown off.I have been trying to get the truck repaired for over a year now to no avail. In May 2021 went to check fluids under then noticed that the headlight was cracked roughly 1 to 2 inches from mounting bolt under the hood, went to other side it was cracked as well. Shut hood got to looking center of hood aligns perfectly with grill but both the driver and passenger sides are off. Gaps between hood and fenders arent even. Its about the opposite of the gaps in the tailgate due to it being misaligned. This vehicle was never wrecked unless something happened to it before my purchase at 48 miles. Nissan doesnt want anything to do with me or the repairs that are warranty repairs. If you are thinking about buying a new Nissan save yourself the headache. Buy something better. Service after the sale is horrible. Nissan consumer affairs has promised to fix these issues since my first call. It now has been in the shop for over a month in total this visit 3 weeks and going and as of 4 days ago hadnt even been looked at. Beware of what you buy.

My 2004 Infinity G35 had a recall on air bags. Had the work done but the light keep coming on. Went back to dealer and was told it was my job to get it fixed. Never had this problem before they work on the air bags. I feel the dealer should fix the problem. I sent a letter 06-5-11 on this. Have not heard from anyone. I would like to fix it or go to small claims court.

Back on April 25th 2020 I traded in my Nissan Rogue sport at rt 46 nissan in Totowa nj. I leased an Altima. I find out at the end of October that the paperwork was not done and they say I am delinquent on my rogue. I have been going back and forth with the dealership and nissan corp for 2 months. They have destroyed mine and my wifes credit and it is December 29th and the problem is still going on. I will never buy a nissan again and I wish I could get rid of the one that I have now. If anybody needs a new vehicle I would not suggest 46 nissan or nissan corp at all.

Nissanconnect services is a joke. Its so difficult to understand what level and what options your vehicle has that the dealership doesnt even know. Nissan navigation is nothing short of pathetic. Its a very painful process to navigate to anywhere!! You cant even enter your home address unless its already in whatever ancient database Nissan is using. Nissan should completely abandon this system and work toward making Android Auto/Apple Carplay work wirelessly. For that matter all vehicle manufacturers should do the same.

It hit 75 degrees today in California and I’m again reminded why I will never buy another Nissan. My AC doesn’t work in my 2014 Nissan Rogue bought new in March 2014 at Dublin Nissan. It hasn’t fully worked since July 2015 when it inexplicably went out in the middle of a road trip in 101 degree weather. My two passengers and I tried to bear it for an hour, but ended up having to pull over for 3 hours to wait til dark to drive home the remaining 2.5 hours. I took the car to Nissan Capitol Expressway two days later where they spent an entire day (and tank of gas) trying to figure out the issue only to come away with no solution. It only seemed to be replicable in 80 degree or above weather and after driving for more than 30 minutes on highways.I knuckled down and made it through the summer, the car had about 18,000 miles at that point and was still in warranty. December 2015 I took the car back to Capitol Nissan for 25k maintenance and had them examine the AC unit again. Another full day of “work” and no solution. The AC continued to work intermittently, I kept up with routine maintenance and always mentioned the AC issues when I was in for service and still under warranty, always at Capitol Nissan. By late spring 2017 the AC had stopped working altogether, no cool air came out at all and the weather was only heating up. In June 2017 I took it to Nissan with 37k miles on it (Nissan warranty stops at 36,000 miles) and had Capitol Nissan spend another whole day working on it.They immediately agreed it wasn’t a functioning unit and spent the whole day with it, by end of day finding a “solution.” This solution was to drain the freon from the system and re-fill, this seemed to solve the problem. I asked the associate why that hadn’t been done before to solve the issue and he said he didn’t know. I then asked how he knew it was fixed and he said he couldn’t guarantee it and re-read me the description of work done like I was a kindergartener who just didn’t understand. He then only charged me for the new AC fluids and “helped” me with the labor cost by charging me $200. I drove away angry and rightfully so as the AC unit stopped working two days later. I called the associate at Capitol Nissan to let them know and never heard back.I then opened a case with Nissan Corporate to have the car declared a lemon as the AC unit will clearly never work. In that call I told them I truly thought this was a one-off case and that until then I had actually liked everything else about my Rogue. I told the representative that if Nissan awarded me the new car I was actually planning on upgrading to the Nissan Murano and would finance that upgrade through them.Nissan Corporate kept my case open for approximately 18 hours only to dismiss it because the car was out of warranty, they offered me one monthly payment ($350) for my troubles. I did not accept this money as it didn’t even begin to cover the amount of time I had spent away from work and the money I had spent fixing this issue. The way Nissan has treated me has made it abundantly clear I will never buy another Nissan and as soon as I am financially able I will be getting rid of this junk Rogue and buying a Toyota.

It had a good review online with websites I had checked. It was also in our price range, it was nice looking, there was no damage, it was a good size, had a large trunk and a roomy back seat. But the glove box has a weird design and you have to make sure you dont have anything near the sides or it wont close. Also the back seat doesnt have good back support. Nevertheless, Ive had a good experience with this car. I havent needed to take it in to be fixed for anything in the year and a half we have had it. We couldnt have asked for a better car for the money it cost.

I purchased my Altima in 2011 from Newburgh Nissan, Harte Auto Group. Boy was I ripped off! I felt that I was bait & switched when it came to the deal and paperwork. Clearly, after I realized that I paid WAY too much for this vehicle, nobody wanted to hear about it. Not the dealership and not Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. My payment is way too high for what I can afford since DAY 1. NMAC will NOT work with me regarding possibly modifying the terms of my loan. They dont care. Representatives there are very nasty. No notes was ever noted when I call. I seem to explain my story over and over again. Now nearly sinking clearly into a state of bankruptcy - JUST FOR THIS LOAN/CAR - Im sick to my stomach. In this day and age, you would think auto creditors would WANT to work with you - have a little bit of understanding and compassion to try and make it work. Nissan does NOT. I will NEVER recommend or purchase another Nissan product as long as I breathe and walk this earth. Ive made mistakes in my life - but this one was by far, the worst Ive ever done. Once again, not the dealer or NMAC will even try to listen to me or work with me to make my situation a little easier. DONT BUY A NISSAN!!!

Truck keeps dying intermittently, replaced the battery, still happens, left me out in the cold numerous times, been flat-bedded to dealership numerous times, also gives me problems detecting the key-fobs saying no key detected. I asked Nissan to get me out of the lease since the truck is unreliable and unsafe, and they have been giving me excuse after excuse. Ive lost a lot of time, money, and patience with this truck and will tell everyone I know to STAY AWAY FROM NISSAN!!

There is a manufacturers defect with certain 2009 Nissan models. Nissan is aware of the issue, but we are being forced to pay for the repair. The cost of the repair will be 1100 dollars, not including what we paid to have the car towed to the dealership. Again, this is not due to normal wear and tear. Our car was in perfectly good condition until the moment it simply stopped working. When I contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs to report the problem, I was also made aware that the reason we never heard of the problem was that they had the previous owner, Michael something, listed rather than us. So the mailing may have gone to him, not us. We purchased the car from Nissan of Woburn as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. How is that possible?By the time I spoke with the second individual from Nissan, our information was updated and she claimed Nissan cannot guarantee that recall information is mailed to the correct owner. What?? Hopefully someone who might have a life threatening recall issue doesnt miss that mailing, huh, Nissan? I certainly receive plenty of junk mail from Nissan that seems to arrive without delay.Nissan is aware of this MANUFACTURERS DEFECT and the woman I spoke with, in a condescending and apathetic manner, said they will not pay for the repair despite it not being due to normal wear and tear and that there is nothing they can do at this time. Consumer beware. This demonstrates a lack of integrity in their car making as well as their responsibility to the consumer.

Purchased a Nissan Sentra new in 2011. The CVT Transmission has went out at 79000 miles. Nissan extended the warranty on these same transmissions through 2010. Because they were having major issues. Called Nissan and they informed me today that they would not help with the repair of the transmission because so far no one has had issues other than myself. So now I will have to spend $3800.00 to be repaired. But there is an issue concerning the CVT Transmission that has not been fixed for several years. I have 2 warranties on my car (2012 Nissan Juke) and Nissan will not honor the repairs to my car engine and/or transmission. I am under the required mileage and I bought the car used with under 30k miles. The car begin to cut off and idle down without any warning so I took it to the dealership where I live and they said I needed to replace the engine and/or transmission and that this was a ongoing problem with Nissan. I have read all the forums and Nissan is aware of the issues but will not issue a recall.I would like for them to take ownership and repair my car, I am a retired disabled veteran and I need my car to go back and forth to my doctors appointments. If I dont get any satisfaction, I am prepared to go to the local news to let them do a story on how Nissan mistreats its customers and disabled vets. I am a member of National Organization of Veterans Advocates (NOVA) and they are waiting to see the outcome of this before they intervene. Nissan knows that this is an ongoing problem and they should do the right thing by allowing me to use my car warranty to fix the issue. I am on a fixed income and I cant afford to pay absorbent amounts of money for car repairs, that is why I purchased the car warranty.

Purchased my first new vehicle, Nissan Frontier SV 4x4 Crew Cab. So far I have had 3 problems, Nissan has only covered one. I feel like instead of driving around in a new truck, I am driving a big, junk box now. Thanks so much for that feeling! No hole drilled for air conditioner drain. Water leaked all over the interior and blew out of every vent. Nissan fixed this. The paint on the rear wheel wells is literally falling off after 5,000 miles. After several frustrating attempts Nissan refuses to fix this, claiming it is environmental. The dealer even told me this is a design flaw that Nissan is not owning up to. The rear sonar now no longer works @ 8,000 miles. Nissan has basically told me No several times to the paint, claiming its environmental. I live on a normal street, happened at 5000 miles, none of the other cars on my street have this issue! I am at the end of my wits. I feel like not only do I not have a new car, but that Nissan stole $28,000.00 for me. If money were not an issue, Id dump this vehicle for a Chevy ASAP.

2008 Nissan Versa CVT Problem. I am crying right now. I do not know what I am going to do. The other day I was driving and took my girlfriend home and the gas light came on. It was late and me being a woman decided to get gas the next day. So I did but when I was half way out of my apts the gas pedal quit working. I thought I had run out of gas so I had to go about 5 miles an hour over across the street to the gas station. Put gas in it and it drove fine and to the grocery store right up the street. On my way home it ran fine and when I turned into my apts the gas pedal quit working again. I have it in a shop for about two weeks and they tell me they cannot figure out what is wrong. They believe it is the CVT. They said it was just a fluke that about me being low of gas that this doesnt have anything to do with it. That it is getting plenty of gas but the transmission isnt receiving the information or something like that.I just got online and have seen over 800 different complaints about the CVT on these Nissans. My life is over if it is the transmission. I am on disability and 65 years old. I barely make it as it is. If I do not have a vehicle I cannot go to my doctor or to the grocery store. I have no family. God what am I gonna do. Does anyone know where I can file a complaint at least. So maybe in the future people will see it and not buy a Nissan and be stuck walking like me. Why doesnt Nissan make good on these. Why??

I was three months away from returning my Nissan lease and wanted to go into another lease without any interruption. The Hyundai Sonata caught my eye and decided to go to my local dealer. There I spoke with Kevin ** and informed him that I was interested in a Sonata and that I also had three months left on my Nissan lease. After going back and forth with the numbers and his manager and agreeing that the dealership would pick up my last three months, we shook hands and the deal was complete. I gave Kevin my account number with Nissan so he could call and take care of the particulars. I left my deposit and was told to come back the following week to pick up my new lease. After two months, I received notification from Nissan that the monthly note was not paid. I called to speak with the finance person who pawned me off to Kenton **. After telling Kenton what happened, he informed me that it wasnt in my file. I told him that Kevin ** wrote it in his notes and he should talk to him. After chasing Kenton numerous times as he would never return my phone calls, I finally spoke to him and he told me that the check went out on May 12 and Nissan would get it by that Monday. I called Nissan three days after and they never received such payment. Two days later, I get a phone call from a collection agency stating that Im in collection for three months past due payments ($1,050). Kenton flat out lied to me and he nor his manager had no intentions on honoring what salesman Kevin ** promised. My husband actually went to speak to Kenton and he said that the best he could do was pay for half and I agreed to that. He didnt even honor that. He kept saying his manager was out and he hasnt gotten a chance to finalize; it was a lie.I sent a certified registered letter to the owner of the dealership Jim ** on July 16th asking him to follow up and get in touch with me. It is now Aug. 18th and I never received the receipt from the post office with his signature. This lets me know that he, along with his employees, practice unethical ways. As the owner of this dealership, he should have at least called me but he never did. I have been a loyal Nissan customer for over 12 years and decided to venture out and try something different. Premium Nissan of New Rochelle staff honor what they say they would do and I never had any problems whatsoever. Why did I give my business to a dealership that couldnt care less about customer satisfaction as long as they get the sale?

About a month ago I noticed the A/C on my Nissan Livina was having issues cooling the cabin and that the temp was not as cold as it used to. I know this because I rarely use the number 3 setting and never use the number 4 fan level of the blower. I had to Despite how high the setting was the air was not as cold as its supposed to be. My wife even noticed that the air was somewhat humid instead of crisp and cool. I figured it just needed cleaning. I was planning to have that done on its next scheduled check up which was only a couple of more weeks.About a week later, I noticed a dark stain on the front passenger carpet. I thought someone must have stepped on an oil stain and accidentally smeared it on the carpet. When I tried to check and see what it was, it was cold to the touch. I immediately removed the carpeting and noticed there was a small pool of water collecting on the floor. I tried to crank up the air conditioner and noticed that water was dripping from under the passenger side dashboard. I tried to look for the leak and had difficulty finding it. Thats when I decided to bring my car to a local A/C shop to have it checked. When I got to shop, I explained what was going on and the repairman assured me that the drainage just needed some cleaning. He said that the procedure was required pumping compressed air through the drainage to clear the blockage. As the repairman was going about the process, he had a difficult time locating the drainage as he was not really familiar with the make of my car. When he finally found where it was, he said that he cant clean it without taking the dash apart. At that point, I became iffy and decided not to push through with the repair, instead, take it to the dealership to get a better assessment of the problem. The following day, I went to Nissan to have it checked. By noon time, I realized my worst fear and they said that the evaporator is leaking and needed to be replaced. They estimated that the repair would entail replacing the evaporator and some other valves. The total damage was about $1,000. The service attendant was kind enough to get me a discount for the parts and labor and got about $100 off. I got my car back the following day and the air conditioner was good as new - it even had a new car smell to it. I love Nissans service and I will not consider looking at any third party repair outfit again. Im going with the professionals, even if the price point is a little bit higher than the rest. Thanks Nissan.

First, Nissan Finance has no email address to send improvement suggestions to so they really dont care what type of service a customer gets on their website. Im an IT person and have designed customer service websites. The Nissan site is the WORST one I have ever dealt with. One would think changing your bank information would be simple. I am a MAC user and Safari is not supported. There a certain time frames related to payment due dates to contend with meaning you can change information when you want and the help desk cant explain the complicated process you need to go through. After 2 weeks of trying website and help desk I was finally able to accomplish this change.

Five Star Nissan Albany, Georgia - I cancelled my Gap ($700) and Service Agreement ($4300), purchased a Nissan Murano for $37000 and ended up paying $53000. I was hit with all kinds of hidden charges and got a $3000 rebate. I got a check for $2300 after all of this. My finance person told me the money would probably be deducted from my finance, but it never was. I would like to know where the rest of the money is. I could have purchased a 750 BMW for this price. I am very disappointed and I dont think I will do business with Nissan again.

Stay away from Nissan. We purchased our certified pre-owned vehicle 8 months ago with 6,000 miles on it, and have had the check engine light come on 6 times. Each time, the Mass Air Flow Sensor being the error code. The dealership fixes it, but yet it keeps becoming a problem. The last time the check engine light came on, it stalled on the highway, nearly having us smashed by a tractor trailer. Yet, the dealership and Nissan continue to give us the run-around and refuse to cancel our loan, or provide us with a reasonable remedy, even after a formal complaint was filed. Do not buy any vehicle from Nissan.

Four years ago, I was told a recall had to be done on my 2011 Cross Cabriolet. After the recall work was done, the roof would not close correctly. I have taken the car back to the dealer several times over 4 years. Each time the problem gets worse, not better. Nissan USA is no help. The dealer is no help. Nissan no longer employs mechanics; just employs inept part changers. No wonder Nissan is tanking.

Nissan will not replace or refinance. No explanation given - just no. I requested for them to extend warranty no response. Will never purchase another Nissan again... Our 2013 Nissan Altima (3 years old), only 89, 000 miles and we have owned for 2 years, the transmission went completely out. We have maintain, like clockwork, all maintenance on this car. If tire pressure light appeared we took it to the DEALER ONLY. This car has only been serviced by the Nissan/Infiniti dealer. We logged a complaint with Nissan consumer affairs and they declined repair and/or assistance with repairs for a major component of the car. Her response because we were 28,000 miles past the 60,000-mile warranty or 5 years, which we are under the 5-year mark, they could not do anything and we are responsible for the repairs. $4500 dollar repair and they refuse to even assist with the repair. We were told by a Nissan mechanic that Nissan is fully aware of the issues with the transmissions in the 2013-2015 Nissan Altima and yet they won’t do a recall or provide assistance to owners. This is heartless and senseless of such a major company. Lost and dont know what to do as this is major, while we are in the middle of planning our wedding, daughter car went out and its the holidays. Real nice Nissan.

Nissan Rouge with severe problem and poor customer service. I have bought Nissan Rouge #VIN NO: **. I went for the first servicing on 04/20/16. They have done servicing and report states the car doesnt have any issues. I was facing problem with the car while driving around 70-75 miles/hour suddenly brake light was coming on the dashboard. I thought this is a safety issue and reported to Local Nissan Dealer Airport Nissan Cleveland on 5/16/16. They said they couldnt replicate the problem. And after that I have faced the same problem again and reached to the Airport Nissan on 07/06/16. This time with evidence. They have done the servicing and returned my car on 07/09/16, unfortunately one day only I have faced the same issue with that car. I am afraid Nissan has not taken this case seriously enough. Is this normal to happen with every Nissan car? Why this problem is keep on coming after 3 times of servicing. I am totally disappointed with Nissan Customer Service. Now whenever I am trying to press the brake the car is vibrating.

Our car is in the dealership for a transmission replacement. Not the first
Our car is in the dealership for a transmission replacement. Not the first one, but the third in 2010 Nissan Cube (the first replacement occurring a little over a year ago in 01/2015). Unfortunately, my boyfriend drove from San Diego to our local dealership in Orange County, putting him 100 miles past the 12,000 mile transmission warranty. Well Nissan would surely see rationale and honor a good will repair... We received a phone call letting us know that the claim had been rejected. Being the fairness seeking person I am, I decided to call and follow up. Thankfully, the case was escalated and re-reviewed. We received the phone call the next day from Nissan Consumer Affairs expressing their apologies and informing us that the costs of the repair would be covered. I thought it was peculiar that we didnt hear anything from Nissan or the dealership for the rest of the day. After several phone calls and several messages to consumer affairs, I finally reached out to the dealership the following day and they informed me that Nissan wasnt covering the charges. No one from Nissan decided to call and let us know. So, the manic phone calls began. No one returned my calls or even confirmed that they received my messages until after 5:00 pm. Basically, they chalked it up to miscommunication... and told me to send my information to legal. I asked the supervisor to review the recordings and he proceeded to inform me that they were used for training purposes, and that I was welcome to send him my recording if I have to prove my statement (I obviously did not record the conversation). Therefore, we are without a car and it has been in the shop since before December 25th, 2015.

We currently have a lease that we have been trying to buyout for a week. I originally got a payoff figure online which was good through 11/7/2011, had even called Nissan Finance and got the same figure with the same good through date. Unfortunately, you can not pay them off directly and they require you to go through the dealership. We have been trying to deal with Napoli Nissan of Milford. Originally, my husband called over a week ago asking for a payoff figure and they told him to come in, but dont come in on Saturday because its busy. Who says that. The Saturday they are referring to was last week 10/29. So, my husband calls in the beginning of the week, basically playing phone tag, leaving messages and not getting returned phone calls. I finally went there on Tuesday to try to get the information. So of course, they wanted to try to get me into a new lease and I told them I would entertain the idea but I need both figures. A final buyout figure and what the monthly payment would be for a new lease. By the time I left there, I left without either of the figures and got, I am going to have to deal with Nissan, its going to take me some time to get the numbers for you. Really, because Im sure if I said yes, they would have had the numbers right then and there. So when I left there, I thought about it and called literally within 5 minutes after leaving and asked for the payoff figure again. No return call. The next day, Wednesday, my husband called and we were given the run around, the woman that crunches the numbers is not here today. The next day, I email and call, get a return phone call with another run around, The manager is not in and needs to do the numbers. Well, if I wanted to buy a new car that day I guess I couldnt. Highly unlikely. Now, today, Friday I called again and got a return phone call. However, the new base payout figure is completely different than what I originally got from Nissan Finance. The reason being is the automated line that the dealership calls has already rolled over to a good through date of December 7. The payout figure I was supplied with was good through November 7. I told the salesperson this and they gave me the automated number to call and sure enough it rolled over to December. So, I called back, spoke with a representative and asked that they fax over to the dealership the payoff figure that is good through November 7. They indicated that they could do that but they needed my husband to call because he is on the account and I am not. Okay, so we do that and when my husband calls, they told him that they cant put it back to 11/7. Thats just odd to me, since that date hasnt even come and gone yet. Arent they a financial institution?

Amazing when you trust in a brand new car and a reputable name. 3 months ago, we purchased a brand new Nissan Rogue loaded with all the goodies. Then what we thought was a minor Bluetooth/phone problem began. When the person on the other end of the phone talks to the driver (or synced passenger) a nice high pitched whine comes across the phone. This is not heard by the driver connected to the Rogue, this is heard by everyone talking to the driver. A very annoying problem that you would think the dealer and manufacturer would repair or replace. Not, not, not. The normal answers by the dealer - manufacturers problem so start a case. Started a case and Nissan denies the case.Everyone says this has happened before and the engineers are hard at work. WOW So my advice to consumers is to be careful with purchasing a NISSAN vehicle and if you do, check out the hands free phone from both ends. If you hear a high pitched whine - run away. Very sad that this company does not stand behind their products. +$30,000 NEW CAR WITH NO SUPPORT!!!

Way too long to explain it all. Took car in for oil change, was told there was a recall on CVT trans, they reprogrammed it. They made the trans skip. Brought it back, they said trans failed, then called 30 minutes later and said, “Pick it up. We do not know whats wrong with it and have no answers.” Was told to call in MONTH. Talked to EVERYBODY... no answers. No one knows. Then on my own took it to another Nissan. Was told NUMEROUS stories. Right now I am at 38 days. I am writing a book about my horrible experience. Not only THEY wrecked the trans but the treatment was horrible. I cannot include the details as there are too many. Anyone would be a fool to deal with these guys. My book will be out soon.

I have a leaking sending unit on my 2015 Nissan Sentra. I opened a case report with Nissan Corporation 2 weeks ago, Sept 1, but have not received a call back from Nissan during normal business hours despite 6 calls Ive made to the Nissan Customer Representative over the past 2 weeks. Nissan has a recall for the same problem -- on the 2015 Altima and 2015 Maxima -- an improperly installed ring on the sending unit, resulting in leaking fuel. I cannot get any assistance from Nissan as of today, August 12.Additionally Nissan sent me a letter earlier this year (the letter of course is not dated but I received it this past spring 2019) advising that I might have a complete blockage..in the EVAP tube located between the fuel tank and the evaporative emission canister. While this is different from the problem of the leaking sending unit, it illustrates that Nissan clearly has multiple problems with defective fuel pump assembly parts and/or improperly installed fuel pump assembly parts.

Updated on 04/05/2019: I bought my Nissan Juke Shoro in the UK 2012 brand new. I live in Spain and had it shipped out to me. it never was a fast car but that was ok with me as I cruel around town anyway. A friend drove my car in 2016, it was the first time I had allowed anyone to drive her. He said it didnt seem to have any power and as there was a slight noise from the engine, took it to Nissan Dealers. I was told the gearbox had broken and it needed to be replaced, €10,000!!! I was out of warranty by age but was within milage. I had to fight with Nissan Spain for 5 weeks. They agreed to replace the CVT and I was to pay €1,000 to have it fitted, I was pretty annoyed but paid. Less than 2 years later the same thing, CVT gearbox had gone again. That was in Oct 2018, Nissan refuse to admitted that the car as a fault and now want me to pay €4,000 for a recondition CVT. Its now April 2019 and I have heard nothing. I ended up buying a little Opel for €5,000 with very little mileage. Nissan can keep the car, I wouldnt want it back now anyway. The service I had with Nissan every year was a waste of money. I am very very disappointed with Nissan and would never buy a car from then again.Original Review: I bought my new Nissan Juke Shiro Limited in 2012 and had it shipped to Spain. In 2016 after a friend had driven it, they brought to my attention that it had no power! Nada! To be honest I had always felt a bit un-at-ease when driving my Juke and felt I didn’t have much control on the speed but never through much if it. Especially as I had always serviced my car at a Nissan dealership approved garage and always got conned into paying premium instead of a standard service. So took my Juke to Nissan dealership and I am told the gearbox had broken, a new one would cost €10,000 including fitting! I was just 3 months out of my 3 year warranty but luckily within the mileage. So after 5 weeks of talk and waiting for decisions, Nissan Europe decided to replace the gearbox and I agreed to the €1,000 cost to fit it. It only had 1 year warranty but surely I wouldn’t need another new gearbox. 2 years later, 3 months after the premium service at Nissan... A friend drove my car and said the same as my last friend who had driven it in 2016!! No power! I took it back to Nissan garage, only to be told the gearbox was broken, again. Metal getting into the oil because 2 disks are grinding together in the gearbox... 2 months later, several phone calls, emails and messages. Nissan will only offer a 35% discount on a recondition gearbox €3,998! I can’t see how a faulty car manufactured and badly made by Nissan can be my fault. It cost me over £18,000 new.I am now out of pocket by €1,500 on rental cars and Nissan just don’t give a damn. I was never offered a courtesy car this time or back in 2016. This whole situation has had me sick with worry and not even having €3,998 to pay for the reconditioned gearbox that Nissan have offered! So I can having to pay another month of car hire cost, I am totally lost as to what to do. The head office in Barcelona that have also dealt with my case have been totally unprofessional and unresponsive to my phone calls and my emails. Needless to say, I would never buy another Nissan again???

Our company has a 2018 NV 200, a commercial vehicle with 100,000 mile bumper-to-bumper commercial Nissan warranty. There are about 58,000 miles on the truck. On January, 26, 2021 while driving on a small residential road at 5 miles an hour, the passenger side curtain deployed. The truck did not hit anything at all. Our technician said it sounded like a gun went off. He couldn’t see anything. Had this happened on the highway, he certainly would’ve been in an accident, possibly fatal. I have been trying to work with Nissan to have them simply give us a loaner truck for the eight weeks that will be required in order to do a thorough investigation. Im not trying to cause them trouble but They told me I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF ANY LOANER TRUCK!!!.This is the worst handling of a highly explosive situation (no pun intended) that I can imagine. They also said it’s up to THEIR discretion to decide if I would get reimbursed. Furthermore, they said I may be subject to STORAGE CHARGES AT THE LOCAL DEALER UNTIL THIS IS SETTLED. Is this incredible? Dakota from their arbitration group has been assigned to me. No person could have less skills given the severity of this incident. I asked for just two things: a loaner truck and commitment to make sure that any defects be not hidden from the public. DISGRACEFUL. WHO IS SAFE IN THEIR VEHICLES????Heres the worst part. When I told them I demanded a loaner vehicle, they said the case was closed!!!! Mr/Mrs Dakota called the dealer and told them the case was closed and settled. Here is the warranty. Very clear. 5 years/100,000 miles (whichever occurs first). The Nissan Powertrain Limited Warranty covers the engine, transmission and transaxle, plus the drivetrain, as well as air bags, and related electronic control system. [*]

I bought a Nissan about 5 months ago. They were ready and willing to help me in a car. They went out and brought the Nissan to show me. About 3 or 4 months ago the car had places on the hood and trunk of the car. I took the car to the Nissan place in Greer S.C. They looked at it said rocks from the road did this. Well dont you think I would have felt and seen when the rocks would have hit my car? As big as the places are, they would not help me! But if I was going to buy a car they would have been all over me! I took it to a man that paints cars. They said take it to Nissan where I bought it that it was in the paint! They tried to say it was rocks that did it. The man that looked at it picked at it and made it worst.I told him I wish he would stop doing that he was making it worst! Thats when he said he couldnt help me! That paint guy could have charged me to paint the car, but he was honest to tell me that! Somebody told me I could make that man pay for the damage he done to my car picking at it the way he did! I love the way the car rides now but Im afraid it might fall apart any time. Wish I had never bought the car from Nissan. Im very very unhappy with those people and the car the way it looks! I cant afford to trade the car or I would, but not with them! I initially took in my 2008 Nissan 350Z roadster convertible to Tony Nissan to have them repair the convertible roof because it is not fully closing into its compartment. They looked at it and eight hours later, said that they couldnt find anything wrong with it. They even showed me that it was working before leaving.Later that day, I wanted to test it out for myself. And much to my dismay, the same problem occurred. Being busy with work, etc., I wasn’t able to take it back in immediately. I was under warranty and thought I had time (my mileage at the time was under 36K). When I took it again (about a month and a half later) stating that it was not fixed, they tried to charge me for $350.00 just to look at it because now, my warranty had expired. I was under the impression that my warranty was going to expire at 60K or five years. Of course, I refused to pay that outrageous fee and left.I then returned at Tony Nissan with my husband and he demanded to speak to a manager. They looked at my vehicle at no cost but said they needed to contact Nissan corporate to get an approval to cover the cost of the repair. Three weeks thereafter, Nissan denied my claim stating that 1) I didnt have enough history with maintaining my vehicle and 2) my warranty is expired. This is such an incredible injustice for Nissan should have fixed the problem initially while my vehicle was under warranty. My vehicle is maintained immaculately with regular oil changes, etc. I intend to sue Nissan corporate and Tony Nissan to recoup the costs to repair my vehicle. Furthermore, I will not trust any brand with the Nissan name.

Nissan is one of the most crooked companies in the world. Many people do not know that they have been committing criminal business practices for ten years now by fooling consumers with their fancy CVT transmissions that have prematurely failed on tens of thousands of Versas, Sentras, Rogues and other models and it is a disgrace that they have been allowed to get away with this kind of egregious behavior for so long. A class action lawsuit was filed against Nissan, but many car owners never received the details of the lawsuit until it was almost in settlement which settled in March 2020. Sadly this court in Tennessee and all the crooked lawyers attached to this class action lawsuit really received all the benefits of the settlement but tens of thousands of Nissan owners were left out in the cold because they sneakingly increased the warranty to a random 84,000 miles when many many transmissions have failed after that mileage but still very prematurely. I am one of those victims and had I known about the crookedness of this disgusting company I would have never purchased my 2015 Sentra from Hertz. My transmission started showing failure issues at approximately 70,000 miles, but it finally totally failed at 99,000 miles. I only found out about the class action lawsuit because of the research I was doing online and taking the car to a repair service to find out it had failed. I petitioned the court and objected to the settlement, but because there were only a few of us who objected, the judge denied the objection. I am not done with this, but because of the pandemic, I am not able to reach the news media investigative teams to report this crookery. It is an unconscionable act that Nissan has duped 100s of thousands of customers the last ten years. I intend on writing to the newspapers to further expose these crooks. They do not deserve being in business, and if people knew how the company was run and their ex CEO is an international fugitive, people maybe would stop buying their cars. Adding insult to injury I just received a disgusting piece of mail that Nissan has been forced to send to Nissan owners extending this disgusting warranty only because they were mandated to do so. What about the other 100s of thousands of customers who already got screwed? And furthermore, they have made it so repair services cant rebuild them, they have to purchase an already rebuilt transmission probably from a company that is connected to them. The cost is prohibitive for most of us, a whopping $4,000. My poor car has been sitting outside unable to be driven for seven months now and furthermore these cars will have no resale value due to the criminal business practices of Nissan. Couldnt get any worse than this!

Apparently, many are having the same problem and there should be a recall from you. If you want us to buy again, you had better make this right.

Not Happy at all that I paid so much money for this 2013 Altima V6 3.5 SL piece of crap. Nissan knowingly sold these defective transmissions and wont even acknowledge the problem let alone fix it. The whole car shudders badly when the lockup torque converter locks up to make a solid connection between tranny and engine. Make for about the worst driving experience you can Imagine. Will NEVER consider another Nissan if they dont come up with a fix.

We have a 2008 versus with a CVT-transmission that went bad at 120956 mileage. Faulkner Nissan diagnostics stated trans needed to be replaced for 3300.00. The extended warranty was for 12000 miles. We contacted Nissan to ask for partial assistance and waive the 956 miles. Our request was denied by Rachael from consumer affairs who states she makes the decisions to grant customers request or not. She stated that our vin-number was not included in the extension which is not true according to Nissans website. Ms. Rachael wanted us to have car re-diagnosed for 100.00 knowing she had already decided to decline assistance based on the false information about the vin - number not being included.

I have a 2009 Nissan Altima. The car will not go. I almost got hit twice. I took the car to Nissan and had a diagnostic test done for 120.00 dollars for them to tell me there is nothing wrong with my car but when I took it to Kia they did one... They came up with the step motor (778) code. I took it back to Nissan and they said they never heard of that code. They reset my car and drove it, and they said it was fine, but when I drove my car home, check engine light came back on and once again got stuck on a hill. The car would not go and almost got hit again.Nissan does not want to fix this problem or recall this vehicle that they said cant fix if they cant find the problem. Im writing this review to inform others of this problem and to put on record Im getting an attorney to file a class action lawsuit, and to let Nissan know when I end up in a accident and hurt or dead they will have a big lawsuit on their hands. Its going to take for someone to die for Nissan to recall these vehicles and that is sad. I will never buy another Nissan vehicle. I will keep everyone informed on what an attorney has to say so you can get in on this lawsuit. Nissan dont want to take care of this problem. I will.

I leased a 2014 Nissan Rogue and paid off the lease several months ago. I requested the title from the leasing department on October 23, 2019. When I called a month later to check on the status, I was informed that they had no record of my request. I sent in a new request on December 19, 2019 and they still have not even acknowledged that my title will be released. They keep promising to call me with updates and have never received a return call. All I am being told is that the title is being processed. I have a buyer for my Rogue and each day that they delay is costing me money because I have to keep the car insured.I will never do business with Nissan leasing again and I suggest that if you are considering leasing a Nissan to use another leasing company. This company is completely non-responsive and incredibly difficult to deal with. As I stated before, their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with in my life. My 2002 Nissan Frontier automatic transmission RWD VSS sensor failure cause
My 2002 Nissan Frontier automatic transmission RWD VSS sensor failure caused sudden acceleration and deceleration. I found out the hard way how deceitful lying BS run around crap NORTH AMERICA CHARITY THE BIG BOSS. SUCKS!!!! When my truck rolled off assembly line and off to the dealers the first sensor was changed as was the tranny. Then a second sensor and tranny the same year and third time’s a charm at last the final sensor and tranny for the 2002 Frontier XE. Amazing. I loved my truck. Have all documents. It has only 58000 miles on it and lucky me there are aftermarket parts or a part you can buy to replace my sensor. Why I wonder? Why would Nissan change the sensor and tranny three times on their 2 RWD automatic Nissan Frontiers? And why do they still have parts for second tranny and third but not mine??? The Nissan Xterra same tranny and sensor issue. Truck suddenly lost all speed on highway. Crawled. Not sure of speed. Speedometer wasnt working. Then coming off the nearest exit take off so fast. Had I not had two new rotary and brake pads installed I could have been killed as well as the persons unlucky enough to run into me. Once off the exit on back roads truck was running like ** but I made it to AutoZone which by the way is free unlike Nissan expensive BS. Put your car on their computer - Code came up. VSS. Vehicle speed sensor. After three unsuccessful attempts to attain my sensor I was finally told by Nissan they no longer made my sensor? Just mine. The other two for my truck with different tranny and sensors in stock? WTF AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE FOLKS? From July 30th 2015 to September 11th and Charity said truck was too old and that Nissan wasnt doing anything for me. I implored Charity that it was unfair that only my sensor was discontinued but same year truck were available??? She said she was sorry and I said “When this goes viral Internet TV etc. etc.” and my lawyer she had a chance to do the right thing and make it right 6500.00 and I was out of her hair and they could have my ticking time bomb. Anyone interested in contacting Charity instead of the months of BS and run around she can be reached at this number **. I also have a Facebook page set up using Nissan corporate pic with sucks across the name. Please like, share your problems there. We can knock these rotten sob on their **!!! Purchased new Nissan Juke 2016 with CVT transmission. The transmission was bad from day one and family and passengers would notice, but I loved how the car looks. Come February 2020 and the vehicle literally stopped in the middle of the highway, very dangerous but I turned the engine off, restarted and moved to the shoulder. Took it to a dealership and was quoted $4890 for repairs. The vehicle has been sitting at Sterling McCall Nissan waiting to be repaired. I follow up every day with the service department and they claim Nissan North America has not shipped the part. I drive for Uber and for a month now I havent worked a day losing income, time and causing psychological damage. Given theres a class action on defective CVT transmission in the Nissan Juke, Nissan should do the right thing and foot the bill for my repairs. I believe Nissan sold lemon cars to consumers and are not prepared to fix the mistake.

I leased a 2012 Altima SL and made all the payments on time. I turned the car in at a Nissan dealership and paid all balances due. Several months after that apparently NMAC decide there was a balance due of $127 and never contacted me (email, phone, postal mail). Since I was unaware of the situation the amount went past due and I got a 30 day late notice on my otherwise perfect (770+) credit rating. Thats how I found out they felt I owed them some stupidly small amount. Absolutely horrendous customer service and I will never deal with them again. Two weeks prior to my lease maturity date, I called Nissan to set up my end-of-lease inspection. After 4 phone calls, I was told they use a third party to inspect the vehicles (easy way to avoid blame). Upon calling the third party to set up the inspection, I was told they could not have a representative in my area (suburban Phoenix) for 17 days, which was 3 days after my lease was up. I continued to call Nissan and was assured I would suffer no penalty payments and there was a 10-day grace period. I turned in my car the day my inspection was completed and it was in great shape aside from one dent the size of a nickel.10 weeks later, I received a bill in the mail for $1,200. $400 in damage from a dent in the front, which I agreed to pay, and also the $395 disposition fee, which I agreed to pay. However, I was also charged $398 for an additional months lease payment and $20 in penalty fees. When I called the Nissan Finance representative, they told me the dealership did not report my car being turned in for another 21 days after I had dropped it off. I strongly suggest not doing any business with this company or any of their affiliates, unless you enjoy scams and lies.

When we fell behind 2 months, I found that the account never saved, although it said it did. My mom even went in and set up an account, which again, never saved. So we called customer service and a lady there set it up for us, so we thought we were fine. WRONG. Our car got repossessed last night because we were behind on payments. How? I dont know. The only to get it back now is if we pay the off the car in full. The card that was supposedly supposed to be on that account is still active, so whatever happened, is beyond me. I bought the car on January 20, 2013 from Woodland Hill Nissan. I asked the sales person and said I wanted one color and black interior. He said, “Ok, we have.” Then I said ok. After all the paper work was done, he then said, “Actually, we have silver.” At that time, we have been waiting more than 6 hours so I was tired and my kids were hungry. I just needed to get out of there so I don’t’ want to say anything .One week after I got the car, the car started giving me problems while Im driving the car shaking so I called them. They told me to bring the car in - I did that. Three weeks later, the same thing happened so I called 1-800 Nissan1. They asked me what happened, and I told them everything. Then the lady spoke to the service manager, and he told her to tell me to take the car in, and I did that. Two days after I picked up my car, the same problem occurred so I called 1-800Nissan1 again and they said there is nothing they can do because they cant find what’s wrong with the car. I was so mad. How can they just say that? Then 2 or 3 weeks later, I got an email from the service manager and he told me that they found out whats wrong with the car. I made an appointment to take the car for a fix again (3 times already). Then after that, the car got worse and I emailed the manager, but until today, no answer. You know, this not my first time at buying a car, but it’s my first time buying a Nissan and I dont think I would not go back to Nissan for a second mistake. I purchased a pre-owned certified 2013 Nissan Pathfinder about 1.5 years ago and it was a terrible purchase. I have spent a few thousands of dollars on this car on top of having purchased an extended warranty. There were at least two recalls on this car that were addressed after I purchased the car, two window motor failures within the first year, the compressor from the AC is in the process of being replaced. I will say that these repairs were covered; however, I have had to pay a few thousands for items that were considered normal wear and tear which some items I didnt expect to have to cover so soon after purchasing the car and considering it was a certified car. Overall, I am so disappointed in my purchase and I do not plan on owning another Nissan car again.

I purchased my 2017 Nissan Murano on 2/27/17 from Frank Fletcher Nissan, Joplin MO. Prior to 5/8/18 (I do not have this date or who I spoke with at Fletchers) but I stated to them when my husband drove the car and placed his arm leaning on the center console the drivers seat would rub against the console causing this annoying squeaking that was continuous until he changed positions. I was asked if my husband was a bigger man and I said yes 63 230 lbs but what does that have to do with it? He stated they have had several complaints about this and all the men were larger. I said that is no reason for the seat to squeak! We had other vehicles & not ever had this issue. So on 5/8/18 I took my car in and the service dept said they could and I agreed to let them install washers to tilt seat slightly and prevent rubbing. This seemed to work briefly but then it started again. Nothing like before but still it should not be happening. So I went back again to report it. This is my 1st brand new car and this should not be the way it is & I have never had a car that had this issue and I am sure I could have bought any other car & not had this issue. So I said if you cant fix it who should I speak with that might be able to assist me and at that time he gave me the 1-800-nissan-1 #. On 6/6/18 I contacted the 800 Nissan consumer affairs and the person I spoke with said they will send case to regional consumer affairs specialist to get in contact with dealer and investigate giving me a case # ** from agent #**. on 6/8/18 I spoke with regional affairs rep and he had authorized technical resource to talk with Fletchers and that my car was under warranty so call and make an appointment to take my car in. 6/8/18 I called Fletcher for an appt. They said they will need my car 1/2 day but he will get ahold of Regional consumer affairs and find out how to get set up with tech. 6/11/18 Fletchers called. Will get tech line assistance with them to get help on resolving problem. Appt set for Wed, 6/20/18, 10 a.m. 6/20/18 took car to Fletcher Nissan Joplin, MO. Service manager said will contact tech line and see what they can do. He came back to get me in just a short amount of time and said I could take car and he would call me to bring it back in once tech line calls them back to let him know how to resolve. On 6/29/18 I receive a call from Fletchers customer service dept asking if my problem was resolved to my satisfaction and I said no and explained I was still waiting to hear back from service dept at which time she transferred me over to the head of the service dept. The man said he had spoke with tech line and they were not to modify seat or replace it. He was told it is a characteristic of this vehicle. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! At which time I told him I would NEVER purchase another Nissan again and it is a shame because my sister bought one just like mine because I liked mine so much until this and now they will never buy another Nissan either. I called 800 Nissan back and spoke with agent #** and asked for a supervisor. He said he will have a supervisor call me back no later than tomorrow. He did have me explain to him my issue so it could be noted prior to supervisor calling me back. 7/12/18 a supervisor called, left a message on my phone and said the dealership provided me with correct information. The vehicle is operating as designed and it is a normal characteristic. They will follow up with me tomorrow to make sure I received this message.7/16/18 Sammie called and I was not where I could talk so told her I would call her back Tuesday at 10 a.m. She gave me her direct #. 7/17/18 Sammie called me back at 9:40 a.m. Said all she could do was restate what I had been told which was it is a characteristic of this vehicle. I said I knew of other people per Fletcher dealership in Joplin that are having this same problem but I also know it is not every car since my sister bought the same vehicle due to my recommendation and hers does not do this so how can you consider this a characteristic. She once again said it is a characteristic of this vehicle. Call was ended! Case # ** 7/17/18 I called Sammie back. Left message to call me back - no return call. 7/18/18 called her again leaving another message with my # to please return my call and to this day still have not received a return call.

I have called your finance department Nissan Canada Finance on multiple occasions including today regarding an outstanding payment on my third lease with Nissan (2011 Maxima.) Payment overlooked due to family health issues. The outstanding balance was paid for earlier this year (2016) through your collection agency and payment confirmed by Nissan Finance. I am still getting letters and calls from Credit Risk Management Canada Ltd. asking for payment. I was told by your finance department to resolve it myself with CRM. (How rude and arrogant.) I have been wasting my valuable time dealing with various people regarding this issue. I find it very disturbing that your finance department would not contact the credit agency to confirm the payment. If the calls and letters continue from Credit Risk Management, I will be contacting my lawyer, as I feel this is a form of harassment. I am now on my fourth lease with Nissan and do not expect to renew or purchase with Nissan or Infinity in the future. Your finance department staff are uncaring, rude and condescending and have left me very dissatisfied and angry. UPDATE - Its now Feb 2017 and not one follow-up call or apologies. 2013 Nissan Rogue CVT transmission, The vehicle loses power due to transmission overheating. Going at a rate of speed over 60 MPH on the interstate in heavy traffic and completely losing power is very dangerous. I have contacted Nissan consumer affairs with this complaint and after a review they are willing to cover 50% of the cost to place a cooler in the transmission. I did purchase the extended warranty for this vehicle but because this is not an original part the warranty will not cover the cooler. Nissan has had many many complaints with this same issue but still only willing to cover half the cost to repair. If Nissan requires this additional part on the vehicle in order for the valve cover to be replaced because of the overheating, then they should cover 100% of the cost!!! I am very dissatisfied with this vehicle and Nissan. This is a very dangerous problem with the vehicle. Its a problem Nissan should fix especially with all the complaints they are getting with this particular CVT transmission. I am very shocked and disappointed with Nissan for not fixing this problem.

I had a horrible experience in every aspect of my purchase. I had a truck moved from my dealerships lot a few miles away. I asked to wait to view the truck in person BEFORE signing any documents. I was assured that the documents I was signing were related to the loan and extended warranty and I would be able to see the vehicle before signing. I was offered $2000 off by another dealer but it was too late, unknown to me I already signed. I had to purchase bed extender and was supposed to receive 15% off for my VIP package, negative, paid full price. I took my truck in for service and spent over 2 hours watching soap operas for an OIL CHANGE!!! Last straw was my drivers door. The door is not aligned properly. When opening the door falls and causes and overlap with the rear door. It closes with some force. I took to the dealership for repair under warranty. I was leaving town for a few days and had to take a cab to the airport to get a rental. I was called and told my truck was ready. I returned and took another cab ride to pick up my truck. SAME PROBLEM. The dealer did offer me a loaner which was nice BUT upon returning to get my truck a second time... SAME PROBLEM!!! I will likely never buy another Nissan EVER!!! The only reason I purchased this one is that there were limited options. I was driving a 2014 RAM 1500 Crew cab which I loved but I live in the city/suburbs and needed something smaller for daily driving. The only options were Tacoma, Frontier or Colorado. The Frontier won based on size and price. Im now wishing I had paid extra for a better product and service. Ive had nothing but problems from the purchase to service.

I took my 2008 Nissan Rogue to get new tires. When the tire shop took the old tires off, they discovered that the tire pressure sensors were corroded and loose and couldnt be tightened. Their policy is that they cant replace the tires without replacing the sensors because that would be disabling a safety feature. So, I had them replace the two worst sensors at a cost of $300.00, more than the cost of two tires, and put the new tires on. The other two sensors were corroded also, but they could still be tightened. Upon leaving the store, I went to the Nissan dealer to see if I could get some compensation for this because the car was only 4 years old with 59,000 miles. I was told that I couldnt because the work was done somewhere besides the dealer. I had no choice but to get the work done by the tire shop because they couldnt send the car out the door with the safety feature disabled. Next I went to a Consumer Affairs website and found out that there was a recall on 2008 Nissan Rogues for said tire pressure sensors. The service manager at the Nissan dealer never mentioned this recall. I then called Ken **, the GM at the Nissan dealer, explained the situation and mentioned that I knew about the recall. At this point, he said the recall was VIN specific and that my vehicle was not covered. Obviously, if my vehicle isnt covered, it should be because the problem is the same as the one covered by the recall. Shouldnt I be compensated for the cost of the sensors and have the other two replaced at no cost?

I have a Service Contract with Nissan and is a joke. At 15,000 miles I was told that Regular routine issues like replacing an air filter was not covered. I was at Nissan for an oil change and after they were finished the Service Department presented me with a $300 bill. Air Filter, Brake Fluid; minor items. Then the Tires which is really the reason why I am writing. NISSAN ROTATED MY TIRES AND NEVER PERFORMED AN ALIGNMENT!!! I have spoken to at least 3 experts that informed me the tires were worn from the inside out. How CRAZY is this!!! I had to replace my tires for $700 just recently and have the bill now to submit the highest person that runs NISSAN. I want to be compensated for a pro-rate on my tires. I will pursue this matter with Nissan until I cant talk anymore. Literally! The sad part is that I am disabled and putting 2 sons through College so they get a decent chance in life to chase their dreams. I cannot afford these tires. Another sad issue is my Parents always owned American made Cars and I talked them into buying a Nissan Rogue and then a Sentra. How Sad! I want help with compensation on my tires. I have all the documentation.

I sign for my daughter to have a new car for college. My daughter had a flat. I told her to take it to Kia, we bought the Gap Ins. The service dept told her that it was not covered so I told them just to put the spare on. Come to find out there was no spare or kit in the new vehicle. Well I was very upset about that. I should have been told that. Anyway, I call Consumer Affairs to report it, I talk to Bruce and he told me to email him my receipt and he would refund me for a new tire or kit. I emailed Bruce on July 29, 2014 and I have been getting the runaround ever since. Well they just lost a customer for a $106.00 dollars and now Bruce, I will be too busy telling everyone about how Great your customer Service Skills are.

We regret dealing with and purchasing from this particular dealership. Our sales guy (AM) was fantastic. Knowledgeable, genuine, got us a deal. 5 stars for him. We do also like the Nissan brand. But the second you hand over the money, customer service stops abruptly and completely. Total breakdown. Something is always wrong or forgotten, every single time. Received a vehicle with no spare tire, broken windshield and peeled off window tint (and some other minor stuff). Now you may think ok, nbd, theyll fix it. Thats what we thought when we accepted the vehicle with deficiencies. And we thought that because thats what they said they would do. But they wont. We have been trying since May 10th....yes, almost 3 months. 3 months of ignored phone calls, not returning messages, having to go in numerous times to see them in person and we are no closer to having any of our concerns addressed.Id advise caution against Mark **, the finance manager. He is dishonest, disorganized and has given us false assurities many times. Him we regret dealing with the most. Id avoid dealing with Austin **, one of the managers. Same thing. Speaking with him can best be described as a complete waste of time. We have decided that we will no longer chase after them. Cant keep wasting time calling and driving over constantly. Weve lodged a complaint with Nissan Canada and BBB so hopefully something comes of that. We will fix the deficiencies elsewhere and pay for it, even though it was threatened that doing that will void our warranty. They love to hold you hostage. Long read, but hopefully it will save somebody from making the same mistakes we did. *If you refer to them, they dont actually pay a referral fee as advertised. That is a false advertisement.

Went to the local dealership twice for assistance in obtaining a nav update for my 2013 Pathfinder. Got bounced between the Head of Service and Parts multiple times and was finally told I guess you have to go online. Well after searching for about two hours I came across a Nissan page with a map update promising to be the latest and guaranteed to work on my vehicle. I placed that order. This was on a Friday morning. As I checked out and finalized the order I was redirected to none other than the main site for Nissan Nav updates that I had been searching for on the web for hours. Unfortunately, running my nav and vin showed that the order just placed was a three year old update. Finally found the correct update, ordered it and placed a call to customer service to cancel the first order. Sat on hold for an hour and got cut off. So I sent an email to customer service explaining the problem. No luck speaking to anyone Saturday when they stated they were open just another hour on hold, Monday evening sat on hold for an hour till someone picked up. Was helpful and said hed put me on hold for a few minutes and text instructions to return the first order on their dime when it arrived, and oh, by the way he said that one would NOT work in my vehicle. After about 3 minutes I got a fast busy, then a long squeal and then sat on hold in silence for another 45 minutes till I gave up. Now another email to customer service - their response was when it arrives call customer service - thanks but no thanks - Ive filed a complaint with Paypal which I used to pay the first order. Will try again tomorrow. I know for a FACT Toyota, Chevy, Ford, even Hyundai and Kia have customer service that is FAR superior to Nissan, this was the last thing I expected, God help me if I ever have a real problem. This will be my last Nissan. It is back to Toyota, Chevy or Ford for this man, Ive had them all, plus Hyundai and Kia all have better service and run just as good and have just as few, likely less problems and the body integrity on all of them is much better.

I am so shocked as suddenly at the end of my term of financing with Nissan financing when I called them as a payment of 375.00 had not been taken from my account at christmas. I have had the lease/financing with them for over four years now. Then they suddenly mentioned in passing that I had maybe 7 or 8 NSF FEES on a past due account!! I said that I had never heard of this before and if so why had someone not/never contacted me by phone, email or letter to inform me of this. I have had no knowledge of this. Why did they not contact me prior. This is not reflected in my bank statements or monthly online statements. If it is a bank error I still require some proof or a letter or statement from them they will not give it. I have always received my mail from them before!! Now all I get is calls and threats form them BUT as I have asked repeatedly for a statement of bill or something on paper regards this. They say they sent it. I have received nothing and how can I pay fees. I have never been informed of fees, not missed payments. I have no missed payment except for the one they did not take out at christmas. I have written them and sent an express mail to them requesting the letter and Proof. I mean they could make up anything they want. I am really feeling pressured to pay as they mentioned they can come after my vehicle but I am not sure how to proceed. Can you please please advise me on this matter.

If I could rate Nissan a 0 I would. All around terrible service from the advisors up to management. Brought my vehicle into Pine Belt Nissan of Tomsriver NJ. I had what I believed to be a stress crack across my windshield. The advisor along with the service manager both looked at it, and clearly said they could NOT find any point of impact, obviously with that being said it would be a factory defect. They sent all my info along with photos to Nissan corporate. Who I went back and forth with to have it covered since the glass had NOT been hit. Anyway it had been denied all across the board. Not a single person could provide an explanation on why the glass broke, of course they only work there but know NOTHING. I even asked them if they could Pay half the cost. Again was told NO. I would of happily taken aftermarket glass didnt have to come from the factory. Im guessing Nissan knows nothing of “goodwill”. Customer service is TERRIBLE! They cant even do the right thing for their customers, they would much rather lose them instead. Nissan is pathetic. I would never ever lease or purchase anything from this awful awful company again! Everyone else tell your friends and family! All they could come up with was, Sorry car is not in warranty, spare me Nissan. I will never serve my car in any Nissan service center again. Nissan does not do the right thing and thats the bottom line! Poor product and terrible employees.

Purchased a used 2011 Nissan Versa with low mileage (66k) thinking that, like previously owned Nissans, this will last until 300k without any major issues. At 79k miles the car feels like it is loose and swaying back and forth while driving and the service light comes on. Take to Nissan dealer and find a recall and after looking at the transmission, they say we need to replace the transmission because it is giving a fail code. They only want $4000+ for the replacement, more than we owe on the car. Of course I did my research and see the thousands of complaints on the CVT engine that is supposedly the most efficient transmission on the market and they had upped the warranty coverage up until 2010 model to 120k miles. Great, that doesnt help my 2011 but I checked and it was manufactured in 2010, so I call 1800Nissan1 and complain and ask for help. To their benefit they come back and say they will pay half the transmission cost. Half, for a transmission with obvious issues that they know about but will not recognize officially. My wife and I bought the Nissan because it was a go-to car brand, it would be reliable, it would not let us down. In the midst of this the neighbors 2012 Nissan Altimas CVT transmission failed. I hate to say this, having had the 1996 Nissan Sentra for almost 14 years, but never will we buy another Nissan. My plan was to pay the car off this year anyhow so now it will sit as a monument until some reasonable lawsuit is filed on behalf of the people CVT transmissions has left stranded.

Nissan has to be one of the worst companies known to man. If youre having issues dont even bother to contact consumer affairs because all youre going to get is an Im sorry. Honestly sorry does nothing for the problem I am having. A little over 30 days ago I purchased a certified 2014 Nissan Sentra. All to find out I was infested with German roaches. The dealership refused to fix this issue until I personally went in there and threatened to tell all of their customers they sell cars with roaches in them. What makes it worst is I also need my brakes done and my ac filter changed. But to make things worse the mechanic wont touch my vehicle in the condition that it is in because it is infested with cockroaches. I called Nissan USA and only thing that they could say is Im sorry to hear that. My car has been bombed over 10 times and over a week later I still have only gotten a sorry from Nissan. Quite frankly I dont even want my car back after it had to be bombed 10 times.

Purchased a used Nissan GTR from Atlanta, classic cars within two months the radio and transmission failed. Took the car to Nissan to see if they could repair the transmission they said no but went on to say they would replace it at a cost of $18000. Said it wasnt covered under warranty. Had to have the car trucked across town to have it fixed since Nissan didnt know how to repair it. The car was driven into the Nissan repair shop but when they took the transmission oil pan off the car to check it the car was no longer able to be driven and I had to have it trucked to my home and then to the repair shop across town for the repair. The shop across town had the transmission repaired in under a week. The car drove better than when I first purchased it. Cost me over 5000 dollars for the repair for which Nissan didnt pay a dime. Nissan also charged me $1034.00 to check the transmission that they could not repair which rendered the car undrivable. Lesson learned - dont ever buy a Nissan. Never again in my lifetime. Big rip off. Nissan left parts out of the tranny that they knew would cause it to fail and then didnt want to foot the bill to repair it. Nissan sucks.

I have a 39month lease on a Rogue - 4 months before lease end, I had to replace all 4 tires. So I did, at a cost of over $600 from the dealer. And whoever drove the car in/out of the service area put a big scratch on the back corner bumper. I had the lease inspection a few weeks prior to turn-in date and it was noted that the tires were mismatched (they put on H speed rated tires instead of S speed rated) and that I would be charged $628 for new ones plus another $100 to fix the scratch. I called the dealer since they were the ones who put the new tires on (and the scratch). They replaced the four tires with the right speed rating and fixed the scratch. I was assured that everything was taken care of and all I would owe was the disposition fee at that time. And when I turned it in, I was assured again that everything was taken care of. I always serviced the vehicle on time, kept it super clean and even turned it in 7,000 miles under the allotted amount. I got a bill today from NMAC for $1,198.80 for new tires and the scratch, plus the disposition fee. Of course, there is no contact phone number or email on the bill (I did find a number to call via searching the internet). I have contacted my dealer first and can only hope they will help resolve this for me. I am physically sick to my stomach and will never, never, ever lease again (especially from Nissan)!

Worst company to deal with. I just bought a 2012 Juke. Less than 50 thousand miles on it the turbo burns out. I had not even made my 4th payment. We took it to 2 different mechanics and were told the same thing. The oil line that feeds the turbo lays up against the manifold causing it to boil and become sludge. I called Nissan and they asked me how can Nissan help you with this? What they were really saying is you can answer our question BUT we have NO intention of helping you. I am out 14 hundred dollars for a new turbo and due to the way it is designed I now need to have the oil changed every 2000 miles so the oil line does not clog again. Do yourself a favor. DO NOT BUY FROM NISSAN. THEY DO NOT BACK THEIR PRODUCT.
