The DeLorean Alpha5 made its virtual debut with massive gullwing doors, an electrric powertrain, and design nods to the DMC-12. While not entirely retro, the longer you stare at the photos the more cues from the past you uncover, like the shape of the steering wheel. Polestar 5 patent drawings The Polestar 5 might have debuted early thanks to patent drawings published by the European Union Intellectual Property Office. The design looks nearly identical to that of the Precept concept, though the proportions are slightly different and the concept's coach-style rear doors are gone. 2023 Land Rover Defender 130 Land Rover revealed the Defender 130. The largest version of the Defender has three rows of seats and turbocharged inline-6 powertrains. No V-8 was announced. The longer Defender is nearly the size of a Cadillac Escalade, and its off-road capabilities will be slightly hindered due to a longer rear overhang and a compromised breakover angle. Mercedes-Benz AMG One The Mercedes-Benz AMG One hypercar finally debuted in production form. Deliveries are set to take place later this year, and customers will be pleased to see the production car looks nearly identical to the concept from five years ago. Unfortunately, due to regulations, the AMG One will not officially be sold in the U.S. Teaser for 2023 Cadillac LMDh race car debuting on June 9, 2022 Cadillac tesased its LMDh (Le Mans Daytona hybrid) race car while confirming the will be revealed on June 9. The next-generation of the best-selling Lexus features downsized powertrains based around a 2.4-liter turbo-4, with three of the four models featuring electrification. One will be a plug-in hybrid. I have 66,000 on my 2008 Lexus GS 350. I have really only had one problem with my car, and that being the rear calipers froze. I have a certified pre-owned warranty that would cover this problem had I not taken my car to a personal mechanic for brake pads. He is the one who realized the calipers froze. It was towed to Lexus and it took me 3 weeks of fighting and speaking with the owner of the Lexus dealership to get it covered. Now 6 months later the headlight went out, When I looked and noticed there was condensation in the housing of the light. Again I still have a bumper to bumper warranty but again, this is not covered. The seal is broke and they state this is normal wear and tear. $1791.00 to replace, ARE YOU KIDDING ME. WHAT does the certified pre-owned warranty cover because at this point I have had two issues and neither of them are covered under this warranty. So with that said, and the fact that it took me 1 year and 2 months to get mats for my vehicle that were promised as part of the purchase deal from my salesman, and then they were not LEXUS mats. They were WALMART cheap mats... I AM ALL SET WITH BUYING ANOTHER LEXUS. SO NOT WHAT THEY PORTRAY THEMSELVES TO BE...

My complaint is with Lexus, not so much with the dealer. I started having resetting of the navigation system in my 2006 RX330 about six weeks ago with the issue occurring about every 1.5 hours. Now, it happens every 1.5 minutes. The issue does not interfere with the operation of the vehicle, but it is most annoying. Each time the system resets, the audio system is momentarily interrupted but the hands-free (Bluetooth) connection is killed, rendering it useless.I went to the Lexus dealer for a fix, assuming the problem would be minor--perhaps just a loose connection somewhere behind the dashboard. Surprise! They concluded that the five-year-old factory-installed navigation system needs complete replacement at a cost of $1740. Unbelievable. Will I look to Lexus when time comes to buy something new? Unlikely.

Purchased the pre-certified SUV (2013 Lexus GX 460) with 22k miles. The following week I noticed the front left bumper was detaching from the body. Brought it back to the dealer who sent it to auto body shop to have it repaired. He installed new pins. The following month noticed the same bumper plus the rear right bumper panel was falling off. Brought it back again, this time they placed a bracket into the panel. Approximately 6 months later, the same issue occurred so I kept pushing the panel back in. In June 2018 I noticed the rear and front bumper panels were worse than ever. Just returned from the dealer and was told at this point there is nothing they can do since this a manufacturing defect that is common with Lexus as well as Toyota vehicles. The only way it may solve the problem permanently is to replace both bumpers!! Owned a couple of Lexus SUVs in the past and never had this issue until I purchased this model. NEVER BUYING A LEXUS/TOYOTA AGAIN!!!!

In Honolulu Hawaii - Driving one weekend, my Lexus RC350 just dies on the street. Nothing works and finally I give up and tow my car to Lexus. On Monday I call Lexus and talk to the service manager Bryan. He informs me that when the car got towed they couldnt start but as of this morning, car starts fine and they cant identify what the problem was. He informs me that the technician will run tests to find out what happened and get back to me. I wait a week and nobody calls me. I call Lexus back and was told Bryan was out for lunch and that he will call me back. No call back that day. Meanwhile, I am not even offered a loaner and taking Taxi to and from work on my own expense. I call back Lexus and ask for loaner and told theres none available. I end up complaining and miraculously they get a test model that I can use. Basic IS model which is not the same level as what Im paying for but I didnt complain as I thought it was for a short time. However, if theres a test model car they can offer as a loaner, shouldnt I have been offered this from Day 1 instead of after few calls? Anyway, I get my loaner and feel better that at least now I have a way of transportation. Another Week goes by while I wait patiently and dont hear back so AGAIN call Lexus. At this point Im told that they still cant identify the problem and running more tests. I told the manager that I understand the situation but would appreciate some type of communication back as they make progress. Of course on phone Im given the yes absolutely. I had a business trip so end up not being bothered for 10 days and get back to Hawaii. Meanwhile I had my phone but never did get a call back. Another several days go by without a call which now my car has been in the shop for a month. Cant get in touch with Bryan and the receptionist tells me she will take message so I explain to her the situation and tell her that I just need someone to keep me updated. Nobody calls me back. By now, its nearly 6 weeks and I am just astonished at the bad customer service. I end up calling Lexus and explaining the entire situation to the receptionist and asking for the GM. I didnt get a call back from GM but the Asst GM calls me and finally some light at the end of the tunnel. He tells me that he wants to help and was apologetic. He tells me that technician needs to run more tests. I end up telling him that I want to get out of the lease so I can be done with and move on. Once I mention terminating my lease, GM ends up calling me few days later and tells me that I only have several months left so he wont release me from my lease. He offers me one month lease waiver as compensation. Finally after 2 months, I get a callback and told my car is fixed. I go to Lexus excited to finally put this long 2 month battle to an end and the cashier tells me I owe almost $900. I tell him that its covered in the lease/warranty and theres no way Im paying for it. With attitude, he tells me well you can talk to the service manager. Bryan who never returned my calls comes and tells me that its their mistake. At this point, I am just disgusted with their communication process and tell him to ask the GM to call me back. No return call for several days so I call back and speak to another manager and he tells me that the GM had family emergency and is not in the office. Finally after another several days, GM calls me back. I explain the situation again with being told to pay and the cashier attitude and now demanded that I dont pay for 2 months which he tells me he cant do because I was given a loaner. Im only asking for 2 months to be waived as I didnt get the car Im paying for and to be compensated for all the time I wasted plus the frustration I had to put up with. I have 2 Lexus at the moment and there will be no more Lexus for me the way its going.

I have had rust problems with my last two RX350 in the tailgate before the first year was finished. The first one occurred in the first 6 months. I replaced the first vehicle after 2.5 years into a 4 year lease at my expense. I contacted Toyota Canada President and CEO, who is also responsible for Lexus Canada. His representative took my information and contacted me back within a couple of days to tell me that Lexus was not prepared to do anything beyond the standard requirements under their warranty. As it stands today, I am stuck with this rust bug for another 33 months. I will not be replacing this vehicle before its lease expires at my expense again. They tell me it is not a problem with the RX350. Two rust bugs in a row and not even an apology from Lexus Canada. Give me a break.

In March 2016 I had a blowout on my way to Florida with my 2010 Lexus. A near tragedy since I had to pull off onto a very narrow shoulder of the road with semis passing at 70 miles per hours. Two months later my tire dealer told me two my tires Bridgestone Turanza with less than 20,000 were in need of replacement. When I purchased this certified pre-owned Lexus from Lexus of Englewood NJ, I was informed that all 5 tires were new. In 35 years I have not had tires that have worn out in less than 35-40,000 miles. As a result I contacted the manager of pre-owned sales at Lexus of Englewood and told him I did not believe the tires had been replaced at the time of my purchase of the vehicle. He promised to look into the matter and get back to me. That was in May 2016. I have heard nothing. I next wrote to Lexus Customer Service with the same complaint in June 2016 but have heard nothing from them. Finally, I wrote to Jeff Bracken, Group Vice President and General Manager of the Lexus Division, with the same complaint and requested the courtesy of a reply. That was in late June and I have received no response.

This is my 2nd Lexus: my first one, ES 330 was a great car from mechanical to cosmetics! This 2nd, ES 350 is the poorest quality you can get! I was told by a service manager in N Miami, that the reason the interior materials (dash board, seats cover, cosmetically wood design, that all are falling apart), are made to disintegrate after a while! No kidding!!!? They actually do, I cannot even clean the interior because the board is jelly like, the seats covers are all broken after 2-3 years and the color will come off when you clean them, the wood design is flying up peeling as well everywhere, at 72 000 miles I had to replace the front direction and before, the steering wheel fell! And you would believe that for over $42000, you will buy a nice quality car! No, not anymore! I was back in forth with Lexus via emails, I went to the dealer to show what is happening to the car, they said that I have to pay if I don’t like the way it looks! I called to have at least the dash board replace since is melting, but two customer service from Lexus Corporate said that the offer expired on March 31 this year and they won’t extend it, although they never told me about it when I went to the dealer or on our exchanged emails! Think twice if you planning to get a Lexus at this time: it is not the same quality or customer service as they started! A shame!

I like to pull up on my family and friends especially after I wash my car by hand so its nice & shiny. Plus the cars are very powerful and stylish. You can go for long drives and be very comfortable. They have lots of space inside the car and in the trunk. You can fit at least 8 people. You can also buy the SUV style if you are going on a long journey. I would recommend this car to everyone I know.

Lexus has sedans, SUVs and also little sportsters. I bought a sedan specifically the Lexus ES. Its the perfect size sedan and its the cheapest of their sedans, but it was not cheap at all. Tax tags and out the door at $45,000. I love it though. Everything in the dash is touch or talk controlled. There were a lot of expensive packages I could have added to my car such as rims, speakers, stereo, leather, etc. but I kept it modest because I wanted to get out under $50,000. The back can fit 3 people, the front can fit 2, so five people total. Even 3 adults can fit comfortably across the back seat and probably can fit 2 car seats.

Lexus has a broad range of varieties to choose from. Personally I like the 430. Its very roomy, gets around to notice and stop it and its a beautiful vehicle. The interior is leather, has Bluetooth that Parks itself and the maintenance minimum XM Satellite Radio, heated seats, adjustable steering column and also GPS. And it also has a wonderful moon roof. The upgrades has hands-free parking, heated seats which are very important in the wintertime and cooled seats are very important in the summertime. Remote mirrors which are heated is very important in the winter time to keep the snow off. Passenger capacity is very good. It seats 5 comfortably, two in the front and 3 in the back with another leg room in the front to compensate. A 6-foot person can probably sit back there pretty much constantly in the back of the car.

Lexus has models from small fuel efficient vehicles to roomy SUVs all at great price points especially for what you get. Many of the smaller cars and small SUVs are hybrid which is great option. My car already included top of the line features except chrome wheels. But I love that even their baseline models have nice features. The back passenger space can be tight on some of the vehicles but definitely comfortable. The leg room in the front seats to be excellent. My husband is 6ft tall and has lots of leg room. I also like the third row seat option which makes it able to accommodate more passengers.

I am an owner of Lexus RX 400h. The manufacturing year of my Lexus is to be seen in the attached figure: September 2007. It is extremely interesting that the curtain and side did not open airbags when my car crashed over. However, the commercial materials and specifications issued after September 2007 wrote about a protection system of 360, according to which curtain and side airbags open automatically in case of car crash over. After years of research it was confirmed and the representative of the manufacturer recognized, as well that no RX 350, 400h manufactured and approved in Europe contains such a system. This way Lexus Europe misled its customers in the issued commercial materials. Lexus Europe is silent disposing, no recall as it is hard to find a remedy for this problem. As a lonely fighter I brought an action against Lexus Europe for its default. If you have such a car, or you are interested in this issue, you are free to join me here.

2014 ES300H - Will NEVER buy another Lexus nor recommend one to family/friends. They DONT stand by their product. Car was only 3 years old & the front passenger door lock malfunctioned. It needed a new door lock actuator. Because I was out of warranty (over 50K miles), they said it wouldnt be covered & the cost was significant. The dealership convinced them since the car was still new, they should cover the cost. Eventually they did. Approximately 9 mos after that lock malfunctioned, the driver side one did the SAME thing. Obviously theres some defective parts in this car given it just turned 4 years old. This time Lexus said theyre not paying for it - they already gave me a courtesy service last year. Can you believe this? Didnt want to hear anything about it even when I tried to call. Wow - so much for customer service! Car wasnt even 4 years old and BOTH door locks stopped working. Think there may be a serious problem here? This is not only an inconvenience but also a SAFETY issue! The dealership was even shocked Lexus wouldnt pick up the tab. Given the car sticker was $48K and bought brand new in 2014, you would think they would backup their product, especially a Lexus. Dont count on it... reconsider before you buy a Lexus!! Truly not the same car it used to be.

I took my 2011 RX 350 in because I noticed a small bubble in the side of my rear driver’s side tire. The dealer told me it was not covered under the warranty because it was a road hazard. This is nothing but an excuse not to cover it. If it were a road hazard then there would be some kind of mark on the rim and/or the side of the tire, but there is none on either. I feel that this is a defect in the tire and should be covered under the warranty. It probably started out very small and is now about an inch and a half long, from the tread inward. This car only has 7,400 miles on it. This is my second lease of a Lexus. I feel I should be treated better than this and the tire should be replaced.I would like someone to contact me regarding this ASAP. Regards,Steve **

About 3 weeks later Lexus called and said fix was in, we carried vehicle to Lexus for a 15 minute fix. There was no improvement. When I complained, Lexus said I needed to talk to Lexus customer care. I will never buy another Lexus or Toyota product again. The last Lexus ES350 I owned, is the last. I do not know how in the world Lexus could call a Lexus ES 350 “Bulletproof” when the heads blew on the one I had at 145,000 miles, not mention the failing computer, the alternator, the Vehicle Stability Control, and let’s not forget their melting dash, the allegedly lethal Takata airbag system, and years earlier that accelerator problem. I do not understand how anyone who had problems I had could possibly call it reliable. The whole experience was shameful. Given my experience with a Lexus, I now question Consumer Reports rating system for rating that company number one in reliability. I had American cars I got three to four times the life out of than this supposed “Bulletproof” reliable car. I am sticking Mercedes, Genesis, Honda, Mazda, Kia, or Hyundai. In my opinion there are better cars for the same or less money than the Lexus ES350 I owned.

Lexus has any number of cars for you and at a widespread range of pricing as well for whatever you want to spend. I purchased my car basically stock from the dealership. Love the look of my Lexus. Very sleek and modern looking. It definitely gets noticed by other drivers on the road. Its distinctive appearance makes for a nice overall look. It has very much leg room even in my smaller sedan. From what I gather, Lexus makes great quality luxury vehicles and you cant go wrong with a single model made by the brand. Its very comfortable, which makes long trips so much easier on my back! It comes with lots of unique features & models to choose from when adjusting temperature, seating position & even a variety of lighting within the car. But the most used extra feature would be the seat warmers for sure. The care and maintenance bought in advance when purchasing your vehicle is the smartest way to handle yearly cost. Their seats are extremely roomy and comfortable. The backseat comes with a fold down armrest & cup holder for additional backseat passengers. Driver isnt the only one with a seat warmer. The front passenger also has warming setting. Both seats have their own dial so temperatures can vary per seat.

When I checked Toyota I found the company uses a fiber gasket on their timing cover. This is a definite design flaw in the RX 350. No doubt the melting of the liquid gasket contaminates the oil. Because of the risk of the leak to happen again, as soon as I can afford it, the RX 350 will be traded for a Toyota. It proves that Lexus vehicles are high maintenance and too expensive to own.

My Lexus car is small black and gray and red from the inside which I think is amazing because of the colors because I dont see a lot of people with the same colors. I feel like it is one of the most beautiful cars in the world just from its appearance. I would not buy any other car that looked different. I think I am the richest person on earth just looking at my car. It works amazing and I think that it is the best car ever and that everyone should buy one someday or you might not be lucky because of its upgrades and personalization options. However, I dont like how there is only 2 seats but I wish there were 4 to 5 to make more people sit in the car of amazingness. I also like how there is two seats because it drives faster and it is more customized.

I have a 2007 RX350 with 50,000 Km on it. I noticed oil drops on the garage floor. Dealership cleaned underneath the car and when I took it back for them to check where the leak was coming from, they said it was the timing chain cover; the whole engine must come down and the cost would be around CDN$2,500. If I do not have it fixed, can I just top up the engine oil or would there be other consequences?

I had a Lexus ES300, drives awesome, good on gas. Handles with extreme precision on freeways at high speeds and gas is reasonable. Looks beautiful and classy. Unfortunately had an auto accident. Hit by a truck. Would you believe after that the truck needed roadside assistance flatbed to tow the truck. My Lexus started right up and drove away with minor dents. The car was built durable and reliable. I highly recommend Lexus to any who want excellence as also quality. Loved owning this vehicle. Wood grain is an option as well as extra modified stereo system high end quality, leather heated seats, extended warranties depends on how much youre willing to spend. Has a big part to do with all you want in a fancy luxury automobile. Also, I have had up to seven passengers at one time. I also had a speaker system in the trunk and back seat. So room is of no concern when speaking about the LEXUS ES300. Again a vehicle that is suitable for all dynamics of all types of encounters it may come across. Simply amazing and classy. Find yourself driving away in your new Lexus to understand how ones perspective will have you convinced as I have been. I see it as you only live once so what I can tell you if youre a hard worker and help other people then you most certainly deserve it. Put it like this, treat yourself dont cheat yourself.

On July 5, 2015 my husband took my car to the Lexus Orland Park, IL dealership to have an oil change. On arriving, the serviceman told him that my car needed other work. My husband already knew that he could not authorize any service on my car without my approval. So my husband called me on his phone and let me speak to the serviceman on his phone. I explained to the salesman that I was headed out of town the following day and did not want to do any other work until I returned. I told him to only do the oil change. He was adamant about my windshield wipers and said that I really need new ones. So I told him only do the oil change and wipers. Minutes later I received an email with a price of $417. I called the serviceman and ask how much was the wipers and why was the bill so high. He told me I needed a 90,000 service and that he went ahead and did it. I told him I did not authorize him to do the 90,000 mile service. He told me that my husband told him to do the 90,000 miles service. He told my husband, after he got off the phone with me that I said to do the oil change and wipers and 90,000 service. So my husband signed for the work. When I called him to asked him why did he do what I did not authorized him to do, he said, my husband told him to do it. After he got off my husbands phone he lied and told my husband that I had authorized the 90,000 miles service and then lied to me saying my husband had authorized the work. I told him I would not pay for it and I wanted to speak to his manager, but his manager said that there was nothing he could do but give me 10% off because the work had been done. These people are frauds. So do not take your cars to them. They will do work you did not authorize and will keep your car if you cant pay. I will be writing to the States Attorney office, they need to be investigated.

I have 2 Lexus cars, one 2007 ES 350 and one 2005 RX 330. As several Lexus customers are experiencing, I too have a leaking rack and pinion on my RX 330. With just 60,000 miles plus. I found this problem when the service adviser inform me about this problem. I was surprised that this so-called quality luxury car will give us some problems at a low mileage. I just have my oil change last month and quoted me about $1,800 to repair. What a quality car we have to just spend this much for a low mileage and my wife drives this one from home to work and vice versa. Lexus should do this repairs at no cost to the customers if they want to claim that their vehicles are built with a seal good quality and workmanship and recall this vehicles because there are so many Lexus owner out there who are having the same problem. This issue should be taken seriously before anything else and serious things happens. I will never recommend Lexus to my friends so they will not experience this kind of dilemma I am experiencing and maybe patronize so other vehicles.

I leased a new 2014 Lexus IS 250 in July of this year. On December 2, I was driving in a Walgreens parking lot at less than 5 mph, when I turned the wheel to enter a parking space. The car accelerated, the brake didnt work and the car jumped into a planted median full of bushes, trees, and narrowly missed a phone pole by less than 1/2 foot. Only the mud in the median stopped the car. Naturally, I called Lexus and a tow truck was sent. Since that time, the Lexus dealership, JM Lexus, has had that car, inspecting it until December 10, when they called stating that there is nothing wrong with the car and that I should come and pick it up. Absolutely no information was given to me about test results, incorrect information was given to me about anticipated contact dates by Lexus corporate, and even management at the dealership appears to want to avoid any further discussions. In my conversations with Lexus corporate, they have provided minimal information and said the issue has been turned over to legal. In the meantime, I am driving a car that I am petrified to drive. It appears that it will take a product liability lawyer to intervene on my behalf.

I bought a Certified 2004 RX330 from Lexus Clearwater. I bought the car in 06, the SUV had 22k miles, was soon told I needed new tires. Did research as why would I need new tires now, especially on a Certified car, with so little mileage and only two years old. The tires were switched out, they were Cooper tires which arent the tires from the Lexus manufacturer. When I asked Clearwater Lexus about this and told them someone from Tampa Lexus had talked with me about the issue, they said, Why would you listed to Tampa Lexus? They are worse than we are!! I spoke with the corporate office and best they would do is offer new tires at retail - still bogus. Now my dash is cracking and Lexus Tampa said $1900 to replace, and 10% off as I dont service my car there enough for a larger discount. Now the headlights are cloudy and there is a recall, but there are no parts for their own recall just an acknowledgement that there is an issue. I was duped by Lexus, they are horrible. Very sorry I ever bought a car from them. Dealerships should provide an actual printout on how they certify a car, if they had, the tires wouldnt have passed a certification test. Like a home inspection, I want to see levels and percentages of wear and tear and how they could ever pass worn tires as certified. Lexus shmexus. Poor quality, certified means nothing, horrible customer service.

I bought a new 2013 Lexus ES350 last year, and was very excited. It was my first luxury car indulgence. Im 63 years old, and recently retired. Mechanically, the car ran and drove great. But, the lack of common sense creature comforts in the front cabin became such an irritation that I ended up trading it in - even though I took a depreciation hit of over $15K. Here are the specifics:1) It is very difficult to exit the car. The low ground clearance was difficult for me, especially since I have some hip issues. The other factor is that the door does not have an intermediate stop position. So, when you open it, it will tend to start closing on you. Many times I had to kick the door to keep it open, just so I could get out. You learn to do this after it shuts on your leg, which is quite painful. This was an issue for the passengers as well. In addition to just being annoying, the bottom door panel became filthy from all of the foot prints.2) There is ZERO convenient storage in the front cabin. I do a lot of detail work in the car, and just need a flat surface to put stuff down. If you look at the console closely, you will see that there is no flat area at all to put anything. The main console storage area crowns in the middle, and is back too far to be useful as a surface. The navigation joystick occupies the right hand side of the console. The shift lever occupies the left hand side. The beverage holder at the front has a sloped cover. The drivers side beverage holder is typically open, because thats the only place you can put your fob/phone/etc. There are no pockets or storage holes in the side of the center console. The end result is that a lot of stuff ends up dropping down between the console and the seat.3) If something does drop down between the console and the seat, there is no convenient way to retrieve it. The only way is to get out of the car, move the seat all the way forward (very slowly because it is a power seat), then open the rear door, get on your knees and reach under the seat from behind. Because of the power seat mechanism, you cant reach under from the front. Try this outside in 100+ degree heat, and it gets very old very fast. Especially when what you dropped is your key fob.4) This leads to my main complaint: The railings under the seats have not been machined, and have very sharp edges. After suffering my third very serious gash on my hand trying to retrieve what fell between the seat and the console, I just lost it. I traded it in not three days later.5) There is no place to put your phone - or even a sunglasses compartment above the rear view mirror. The only place to put stuff is in the drivers beverage compartment. Its like they went out of their way to remove any convenient storage and/or work area.I know to many, these complaints will seem petty. I guess if you drive a luxury car you shouldnt be concerned with these types of issues. But, after a year of putting up with kicking the door open, dropping stuff between the seat and the console, and getting blood all over my shirt and pants, I just couldnt take it anymore.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I lease a Lexus IS300Fsport, I have had it for about 1 1/2 years now and I have had several issues with my car and Lexus does not care about trying to fix my problems. Ill start with when taking it in for oil change and regular service I advised them that my rear passenger tire had a problem because it was losing air and I was having to fill the tire every two weeks. I was told on 3 separate occasions there was nothing wrong with the tire. In December on my way to a meeting 2 hours away from home on the Turnpike I had a blow out on that tire. As of today I am still waiting for the service manager of the Fort Pierce location to call me back. When taking the car to a tire place I was informed that all 4 tires needed to be replaced as they were all cracked/dry rotted. This car is only 1 1/2 years old and has 25,000 miles. I was then shown that I needed brakes in the front. I spent $1,700.00 for tires and brakes on a new car. I have had many cars in my time and have never had to replace tires and brakes that soon and that low mileage. When I called the corporate office their response was that it was not uncommon. How is that even possible. They had no interest in helping me. On December 25, 2019 I got in the car to find a very nasty wet odor, I proceeded to feel the carpets and found that the passenger back carpet and under the seat was very wet, I dropped it off to the Kendal dealership as I was down there and going out of town. They had my car for 17 days. Never called to update me about the car nor called at any time to tell me what they were trying to do. I called every two days and got no information. After 17 days they called to tell me that they could not find anything and that I needed to pay them because they took the passenger seat out (without calling me to let me know this). By the way the car is under warranty. After 17 days I picked up my car with the same wet smell and wet carpet with them telling me I must have left a window open which I did not! They would not even dry it out for me which I asked them to do so that I could see if it happened again. I left the dealership and noticed that the cover plate underneath the car was not attached and was dragging, I went right back for them to tell me that it was not a big deal. It just needed to be clipped on, well why would the service person not do that before taking the car down off the lift. I then get home and it was dark at this point, but the next morning I woke to see that my driver side rim is destroyed!! I called the dealer immediately to advise them of this for them to tell me the manager was on a business trip and would return Saturday 1/18. I am at this point still waiting for him/her to call me back to discuss this matter. This is a lease and I can not turn the car in with a destroyed rim nor do I want to drive a $50,000 car that is only 1 1/2 years old with a destroyed rim. I am so disappointed in Lexus product but even more so with their staff/managers at more than one location. I would advise anyone thinking of getting a Lexus to spend your money elsewhere. I have been the owner of very expensive sports cars and have never had problems like this. The worst part is that Lexus does not even care! I guess that is what you can do when you are such a big cooperation. My daughter in law was either buying my lease out when it came time or getting a Lexus. I have advised her not to do either.... Very unhappy customer!

I have driven Lexus autos for years and have loved every one of them. This year I purchased a 2016 RX 350. I like everything about the car except: It wasnt until I owned the vehicle that I noticed what feels like a vibration under foot when accelerating from a standing start. There is also a strange noise, which I identify as a groan, when accelerating after slowing down due to traffic or turning a corner. All of this occurs when driving normal not under hard acceleration. Sport mode helps but I dont want to drive around in sport mode. Also, driving the new eight (8) speed transmission is not a pleasant experience. At city speeds it always feels that the transmission is in a higher gear than it should be, causing the engine to lug. I would have thought Lexus would have caught this in testing but, now that the car is released, I cannot believe they are not addressing the issue. This is VERY un-Lexus-like!

Six months ago, I bought my 2007 Lexus ES350 from the Lexus of Naperville. This is a Certified Lexus Car. When I bought the car, I was told that nothing goes wrong on a Lexus. But everything has been going wrong in this car. I have had to take it to the dealership three times with various problems. One of the times, the transmission on the car had failed and had to be replaced. This is the most ridiculous thing to happen on a Lexus at 35000 miles. I have always been a Nissan customer and have 3 Nissan vehicles, at home with one of them at 185000 miles; nothing has ever gone wrong in them. This time, I thought I would give Lexus/Toyota a chance and it has failed from all my expectations. Being afraid, if when this car would break down next, is a very stressful at this time. Please let me know how you guys can help with this purchase of mine, so I can have more stress free nights. If you need more info on the vehicle, please email me and I will be happy to send it out. I will also be writing to the consumer board, on how I have been cheated to buy a certified vehicle that breaks down every few months.Below is some of Art ** from Lexuss responses to my complaint: Thank you for contacting Lexus Customer Satisfaction. Since then I must have spent 3-4 hours on the phone with Lexus support. Still no resolution. I received no call backs nor a response of any kind. While on call I felt I was simply being placated by Lexus reps. Apparently I am not the only one who experience this issue. This is a systematic problem which impacts many new owners of Lexus who are trying to use their Enform services. Exploding glass moonroofs. If you are investigating the purchase of a Lexus with a glass moonroof...beware. They have a tendency to explode for no reason. I was on a desert highway with no vehicles in front of me and all of a sudden my sunroof/moonroof exploded. It sounded like a gun going off over my head and it nearly caused me to wreck it had shocked me so much. I did a little research and apparently this issue is an ongoing one with many other drivers reporting the exact circumstance. The Lexus corporate folks are very, very rude about this and will not help you or offer to pay for what is obviously a manufacturer defect.Very sad to see they will not stand by their product. I will be seeking legal remedy but in the meanwhile, if you must buy a Lexus, stay away from the cars with the glass moonroofs. You could be driving and not only have a sudden shock that can scare the life out of you but if your interior moonroof shade is also open at the same time, you could get badly injured by the falling broken glass shards. Very dangerous.

For two generations, our family has been very loyal by purchasing Toyota cars to drive. For the last 40 years, our family has purchased and driven at least 25 Toyota cars. But we were disappointed with our brand new 2007 Lexus ES350. On December 27th, 2012, I read the article on Yahoo news about the Toyota Motors agreement for settlement of Unintended Acceleration. Well, I owned this 2007 Lexus ES350 and experienced that sudden acceleration problem when the car was set on cruise control driving on the freeway. Therefore, I submitted a written letter by email to Toyota Motors explaining my findings. The reasons for selling this car are because (1) I never heard any reply back from Toyota Motors after submitting a letter to customer service. (2) my wife and family members in Asia was afraid of us driving it in the United States with an accident. Furthermore, they live very far away to come to our immediate attention if we were involved in an accident. (3) Lastly, there were sad news happening here and there because of this sudden acceleration issue. Finally, I sold the car to CarMax dealership in Monrovia, California in March of 2011 with less than 7,000 miles on the odometer. At first, I even went to Longo Lexus/ Toyota (which is the largest Toyota dealership in the United States) to sell the car back, but they explained that there is no recall on my car. The Longo Lexus service foreman even went on a test drive with me in my car and on the street. Also, Longo Lexus/ Toyota refused to give me a reasonable offer to buy my car back. I paid $40,000 brand new and sold the car at a big loss for only $24,000 to CarMax with less than 7,000 miles on the odometer because we were afraid to drive the car.Continuously, our friends and family comfort me that life is more valuable than losing money on a known trouble car. How come Toyota never bothered to help when we have an issue? What happened to good old Toyota reputation? Kindly help me in this matter!

When I took the car on 21st November 2019, I was informed by Service Advisor as follows: • The car will be serviced and ready within one hour.• Car wash is not working but he agreed that he will personally vacuum car inside.7. Within one-hour car was ready. The girl announced my name and I went to see her. I was only informed by her that they installed Cabin Filter Free and she took me to Cashier. 8. Cashier told me to pay $300.00 and I was surprised but she never gave me opportunity to ask the question and put my Visa and asked me to insert my pin number in front of all employees.

Im very disappointed on how Lexus is handling the recall on my NX 300 2019. I felt that no one in either dealership or Customer Service are willing to assist us. Currently they only providing a $35 a day rental car to replace my NX 300 until Lexus figure out the problem and find the resolutions. First Lexus should have not sold any cars that are not quality controlled and tested. Currently I have to settle to drive a Ford while paying for a Lexus car; this does not make any sense at all. The least Lexus can do is to provide us with another Lexus car that are safe to drive.

Before I begin my complaint I would like to say the car drives very well and is very sporty. I get a lot of compliments on the vehicle, then they say why is that peeling like that? My Email correspondence with Lexus about my issue: I have a 2006 GS300. I recently noticed my molding along the front windshield that runs along the top to the windshield beginning to PEEL. Really unbelievable for a luxury car. It is embarrassing and damaging to the Lexus brand to have something like this occur AT NO FAULT of my own to this vehicle. I was at the local dealership on a separate issue and was told the roof drip molding was $763.67, absolutely unbelievable. Total repair cost $1200. Why would this peel like this? This is my second Lexus. I had a LS430 before this. I have by far had more issues out of this vehicle than any others I have owned. I am just blown away and I need Lexus to stand behind their brand. I would like the roof molding repaired. This is just ridiculous to have an issue like this on this type of car.The response from Lexus: Thank you for contacting the Lexus Customer Satisfaction Department regarding your 2006 GS 300, Vehicle Identification Number **. We appreciate the time you have taken to share your thoughts. As an automotive manufacturer, Lexus feels its warranty is one of the most comprehensive in the industry, and demonstrates faith in the performance and reliability of its product line. Lexus also realizes that product failures can occur on any vehicle at any time, and regrets any inconvenience this may cause. In an effort to be sensitive to the expectations of Lexus customers, we review matters on a case by case basis when a product failure occurs outside the warranty period. We have examined all information pertinent to your request for assistance, including the nature of the repair, mileage on the vehicle, and the warranty expiration date. We conclude it is not appropriate for Lexus to provide assistance on the repair of the front windshield moldings. We apologize that this may not be the response you hoped for. If you require further assistance, please contact the Lexus Customer Satisfaction Department at 1-800-255-3987, Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Pacific Time.My final response: First off thank you for your time and attention to my concern, however I am not pleased with the decision. I see now purchasing a second Lexus was a mistake on my part. I understand Lexus has the right to not stand behind their product and I have the right to not purchase their product. I understand CLEARLY from the discussion from my service advisor that I purchased a USED vehicle not a new one. However as I stated I purchased a used Lexus with a verifiable service history. In fact it was a Lexus certified vehicle. I purchased a used Lexus, not a used Hyundai, Mazda, Chevy, Honda or Ford. Which by the way has a more comprehensive warranty than a Lexus. 5 years, 7 years, and lifetime on certain parts. And cost far less on the initial purchase. Now a Lexus as stated in consumer reports has a better resale and loan value. So I suppose there is the trade off.But as I stated on the outset I will not be purchasing another USED Lexus product certified or not. I will however let the message board know about my experience. I will also let anyone know about Lexus products/customer service and if the paint begins to peel for no reason, out of the blue it’s your issue. Lexus customer service will stand behind the small issues but when it comes to anything costly you’re on your own. I wonder if the door falls off next or the spoiler blows off while driving, the bumper just comes unhooked for no reason, my seat brakes apart… I mean really whats next. Even though it’s a luxury car, it’s not quality built - these are things that should not happen to this type of car. This email may not mean much in the grand picture. I am just one consumer, but I will exercise my right as a consumer. My wife and I have owned Mercedes, BMW, Acura, Audi, and Infiniti. We never had any issues like this to occur. Lexus wants nearly $1200 for a piece of plastic molding!!! Ironically I have never heard of these things happening with a Toyota, only with a Lexus. A Lexus may look good but the quality is another subject.

I am the not so proud owner of a 2009 Lexus IS250. My question is why can NO ONE work on this Navigation System but Lexus? Monopoly much? My dash board and all of the material on the doors and everywhere isnt cracking, I can rub it off with one finger. Its melting. You cant clean it because anything you use just sticks to it and it looks horrible. To go along with this my water pump cracked overheated my car and destroyed my electrical system to include the alternator, battery, navigation system, and all of this has been replaced but my navigation system because Im now flat broke and no one seems to be able to figure out how to fix it other than with another $1500 Computer from Lexus because that is the only place you can buy them. And if you do find one aftermarket, no one will touch it. My heat is stuck on and has been since winter. Its so stupid Im ready to drive this car off a cliff! Recall the water heater!

I own a 2012 Lexus CT 200h. Absolutely love my car. 2 1/2 weeks I was in a car accident that was not my fault. My car went to Lexus of the quad cities to get an estimate. While in for getting the door fixed rust was noticed on both of the front door seams. We questioned it and had to get in contact with Lexus. My husband talked to Shawn directly at Lexus. They sent someone out to look at my car. Since my car has rust on the seams they will not cover it, as it is not rusted through. Lexus warranty says corrosion or perforation for 6 years unlimited miles. Since the door was already being painted it would not cost anymore to fix the seam under the door. Shawn told my husband nothing he could do about it and no one else he could speak to. I dont know about you but who wants to spend $40,000 on car that is only 4 years old and its rusted. I guess I thought buying a Lexus was not buying a Ford Focus, even though I owned a Ford Focus 10 years ago and it never rusted. Customer service not good, neither is warranty.

I have a 2008 Lexus is250, Im original owner - 36,000 miles on car & Navigation System stopped working? I have not been to the dealership yet because I wanted to do my research before talking with them. This has been talked about & an issue since 2010! Why has there been no recall? I found out that all dealerships can do a certain amount of free repairs at their discretion! With the low miles, the fact that its a known problem & I cant control my heater or air conditioner without it, making it hazardous if I need immediate window defrosting & that I will take all my info in front of a judge, hopefully they do us both a favor & just fix it for free! Has anyone else taken Lexus to small claims court? I guess I may be the first??? I can print out at least 500 complaints about issues with the Navigation System failing!!! Why hasnt Lexus done anything about this??? Theres a FB page dedicated to Why hasnt Lexus recalled their Nav System yet!!! Ill update as I move along in this process.

I spoke to Appointment agent to set up appt for my car to be seen both for brakes repair and review of rusting on all 4 door handles. Firstly, the agent suggested that he had never heard of such an issue (odd since he has so many 2009 Lexus models on his lot!). Not only was my rusting concern misdirected to an alternative department, my request for vehicle repair suggested I would have to wait in the dealership for hours rather than shuttled home to work and return to pick my car up (because I was out of shuttle territory)! This dealership is the closest one to me in Whitby. This experience and the lack of genuine service from the Lexus Dealership confirms, I love the car but will never buy or promote the brand based on my poor experience. Thank you, Don Valley Lexus - Customer Service is definitely lacking. The vehicle was not purchased from you - but you cost the brand a very valuable client for servicing and future vehicle purchases!

Tinted windows, stereo sound system and special interior coverings are available. Leather, cloth and wood trim are just some of the available options. I own a Lexus 2006 and a year ago I started noticing hairline cracks on the dashboard. I spoke with a Lexus representative and he said that Lexus is aware that it is a manufacture defect and I should take it to the dealer and they should replace it. I took it in to North Miami Lexus dealer. The guy took pictures and said that he submitted the claim. I followed up with him since he never called me back to follow up. After 5 weeks he said that Lexus will replace it but I will have to pay $1000. He also said that I can call Lexus customer service if I am not happy. I did call them and followed up with Customer Service manager, Michael, was told that since the car is outside of warranty (however, very low mileage and they recognize that, could have been covered under that) they can only extend the dealers offer and that is very fair. They never looked at the pictures since the dealer didnt upload them and apparently someone in the other department declined for Lexus to take full responsibility for the defect. After searching the issue online, I realize that I am not the only one with the same issue and that different Lexus owners were offered different deals. My belief is that they never even looked into the issue and I was given the generic answer by the customer service management. This is very disappointing and would love to join a class action suit. Lexus is aware of this defect and just getting away with it. The luxury car dealer is washing their hands off. I am not angry but very dissatisfied to look at the car everyday and see the cracks while it is suppose to be a luxury car.

I have never had any problems with my Lexus. Aside from changing the tires, it has been a very reliable car. I have ALWAYS kept my car in my garage. About 2 years ago, the dash starting showing strange signs of razor-like slashes running throughout the dashboard. I had been going through many changes at that time, and did not bring it to the dealership when it first started occurring. Now, I have moved and the razor-like slashes have turned into the dash literally crumbling off!!!!! I brought my car to the dealership in Metairie, Louisiana and was told there that this was not considered a defect and it would cost me $2000 to repair. I called Lexus Corporate and spoke to a man named Ed on extension ** and he basically told me the same thing. Out of warranty, car too old, not a defect, sorry cant help you. I am so upset about this because I have always bragged about the fact that Lexus was the best car I have ever owned. I know people who have cars older than mine and dont have this problem. Has this happened to anyone out there? Were you able to get it fixed by Lexus? Help!!

Moreover, its reliable with lots of comfort and at affordable prices. I really like this brand. The comfort features are really nice and makes you truly enjoy all the comforts of sitting in your favorite chair in your home, which also comes in any of your favorite colors to fit even the most variety imaginable. The upgrade from the previous models are truly noteworthy. The GPS, along with rearview cameras and signaling when theres on coming traffic on either of your blind spots. The warning features are really good news. Theres also a lot of room available in both the front and back sits. You can comfortably fit five people in the sedan, and 11 individual the SUV model vehicle. The sports car however can only fit two passengers in that model.

About 2 mo ago, May 2014, I noticed the maps would reset into a configuration I had not programmed. Then about 10 times when I hit the start button, the screen went black blank and the map screen said, do not shut off power… rebooting. Took it to Putnam Lexus, they said would order part and call me in 10 days… in Redwood City, CA - big dealership. They said they did not have a replacement computer (must have 100,000 cars in this area) but no parts??? Five times in last three days the computer had to reboot, changes all the preset parameters. Now it is affecting the driving gauges, as they are reporting erroneous things ie 50 mi/gallon. If computer stops while driving will be a large accident, extremely unsafe. ** at Putnam says funny, the 50 mi/gallon… blew off the extreme safety hazard of a computer going out while driving. Cannot get me in and a loaner car until tomorrow, even if unsafe. Lexus you are the premier - get your act together, this is serious.

I purchase a new 2018 Lexus 350RX three weeks ago. I am extremely disappointed in the Navigation System. First, it seems to take several minutes before the car connects to the service. I asked for direction to a well known business, and was told they could not find it. Please hang up and try again. I tried again, this time they could not find the business, but worse they could not locate my car. Asked if I was near the airport! No it was not. What if this was an emergency and they can’t find me!Yesterday, asked for directions to a Civic Arts Theater, they had the correct address but the nav. system took me to a residential, dead end street. I could see the theater but could not get to it. It wasn’t even the correct street. Again, asked for a restaurant by name - it took me to a location on a freeway. I could see the restaurant from the freeway, and eventually found it. Now, I use Waze. This system doesn’t come close to OnStar.

The service dept stated that they would put my car on a machine to see what was wrong with it. They called me back and said the machine didnt indicate any problems. But they changed a few filters and said that should correct the problem. Needless to say, that did not correct the problem and the car is still doing the same thing. When I took the car in, they charged me $75 to run the test plus the cost of the filters. Now, I called them back and told them that I am having the same problem and I need to bring it back and wanted to know if I would be charged again. The gentlemen on the phone said I would be charged again and there was nothing they could do about it at all. Lexus is aware of frequent occurrences with RX 330 back door 1/4 window molding falling off. It happens for no other reason other than poor design. When this happened to my Lexus RX 330, I vent to my Lexus dealership (where I purchased new this vehicle) and learned that Lexus will cover the window but not the labor for replacement as the vehicle is not under warranty. The tiny shiny molding which was not attached in proper way is not made as a spare part- the whole window has to be replaced???I did call the Lexus satisfaction line and a Case manager called me the next day to tell me the same thing - my vehicles body part falling off is not covered under warranty. I asked her what is the next that I will loose while driving. And I thought the LEXUS makes high quality vehicles and will be doing right thing to maintain its reputation. I am an owner of 2006 GX 470 with a dashboard full of cracks. I received notice in July of 2015 that the dashboard replacement will be covered under an extended warranty Lexus must have created because of the volume of complaints received by other owners. My directions were to contact the local dealer, Wilde Lexus of Sarasota, Florida and register my VIN number and name and the dashboard would be replaced sometime in the first quarter of 2016. Today, Sept. 26, 2016 I called Wilde Lexus to get another update and Im told I am 9th on the list. Funny, because my last inquiry, I was 6th on the list. The service rep. had no excuse for this. So I asked what I could expect and she had no idea. She said the last shipment of dashboards was in July 2016 and nothing since.I then called Lexus Corp and spoke with a customer rep who knew even less. In fact she said dealers are getting a couple of dashboards weekly and the manufacturer is not keeping up with demand. She has NOOOO estimate or timeline to share with me. I told her Wilde Lexus has not received a shipment for over 2 months and they have no idea when to expect another. This is very poor customer service on behalf of the Corporate Lexus. I dont have an issue with Wilde, in fact they are great with service and maintain a high customer satisfaction level, in this case its corporate whos letting down their customers. Im not sure I would buy another Lexus because of this... however Wilde has a Jaguar, Honda, Rover, and a few other brands that I would consider over Lexus.

I have been leasing a 2015 Lexus CT200h. Within 6 months into my lease radio started turning off and resetting back to factory settings. Meaning all my channels, bass, treble settings all of that got deleted. Bluetooth would have to be reconnected each time. I reached out to Lexus of Seattle immediately to resolve the issue. The dealer told me theres nothing they can do about it.. Shocker.. I then reached out to customer satisfaction who then arranged for the car to be looked at, at Lexus of Bellevue. They began telling me its my phone, or my bluetooth connection. After going through 3 different phones and the issue persisting they finally had a technician who was able to have the same issue happen to him while he was connected on HIS personal cell phone. So finally they agreed to replace the radio with a NEW radio. Well after installment of the new radio turns out it wasnt so new, and more than like refurbished because someone else was already listed on the bluetooth connectivity. I had pointed this out to the dealer who simply told me to deal with it and there is nothing else they can do. Fast forward 2.5 years later I am driving a LEXUS with a radio that goes out every other time I drive it. I AGAIN reached out to customer satisfaction which at this point, mind you, this is 3 brand new phones later, 2 stereos later, customer satisfaction is telling me I need to go to the dealer AGAIN, have them mimic the problem AGAIN, (mimicking the problem could take several tries and several trips) and go through the whole procedure which I already had gone through, AGAIN! I kept on explaining to them that there is not justifying this kind of nonsense. If this vehicle clearly has a flaw, either take the vehicle back and call it a lemon or stop wasting my time! This vehicle is a lemon! I have told them this so many times and all they say is that because it is not a safety issue they will not consider it as a lemon. Well, it is a safety issue! When I am driving on the freeway and the radio goes out on a 2015 Lexus am I to pull over every time and quickly try to reset all my channels just so I can have the luxury of listening to music?? Or perhaps I should drive in silence and just reminisce on the good old days when a 1999 Ford would have a working stereo with no issues? This is a safety issue. It distracts me from my drive. It interrupts my drive! I will never consider buying a Lexus again! There has been ZERO customer satisfaction in my whole experience since driving off the lot on this godawful car and the run around that I have been put on to resolve an issue on THEIR car! Its a lease. Its not even my car and Lexus has done nothing to ensure that I am satisfied. Lexus should be embarrassed that a 2015 Lexus doesnt have an operable stereo. So much for Pursuit of perfection. What a joke. I am sure there are by far better manufacturers that appreciate their consumers and go above and beyond to ensure that the consumer is happy. At this point Lexus Customer Satisfaction is telling me to either keep wasting my time, gas, money to go to a dealer to diagnose the faulty stereo (which as stated above has ALREADY BEEN DONE) or there is nothing else they can do... Boy Lexus you really have screwed your reputation. Never did I think I would be saying this about Lexus. Thanks to the lovely Lexus dealers that were least bit helpful, and thank you to Customer satisfaction, the irony in that, I will never been buying, looking, considering or recommending a Lexus to anyone.

Had to replace my windshield for the 2017 RX350. It has been two weeks today. Giving various reasons for the delay and informed that it will be another 6 days, since the windshield is on back order. Shocked to find out that a Company like Lexus manufactures cars with various computerized options that are in the windshield and not produce extra windshield. Building about 1000 cars a day, can we not produce a few extra windshields. After all windshields crack often. Feeling frustrated. Looked at a Caddy. Maybe American made is better. But that is hindsight.

I purchase new cars about every 3 yrs, This Lexus is the best value I have ever gotten for my money, I find no need to ever go back to any other manufacture, the quality, features, handling is by far better than any of my other experiences... I do not usually spend money on upgrades, but I like this car so much I just had ceramic coating applied last week. The technician had told me the Lexus has the thickest and best paint of most cars...It turned out amazing!

Airbag light is on in the dash - error code b1111 & b1611. In history bad passenger airbag. Lexus knows this but I will have to replace myself - 800 dollar airbag. That is not right. Lexus knows the sensors are bad in these bags. Why dont they fix their error? Lexus should stand by their product. If airbag deploys, looks like I will have a lawsuit to deal with.

I purchased a 2008 IS 250 Lexus in San Diego, California. Since purchasing it, I have had all my service done at the Kearny Mesa, San Diego location. This car has been riddled with problems and recalls including engine, brakes, seat belt, navigation and more. The problems just are never ending, and it does not seem Lexus is interested in taking any responsibility. When my touch screen system stopped responding to touch (350 miles outside of warranty), they quoted nearly $2,800 for replacement. They built a cheap car, charged a premium for the car and are collected from each of us to have their poor workmanship items repaired. I will never buy another Lexus and would never refer anyone to them either.

Lexus has many models. Mid-size to luxury to SUV. They also have fuel-efficient & eco-friendly cars. I have a ES 250 2009. I use it for work and travel daily. Standard features - a/c, electronic windows and seat warmers. I have a mid-size that is very room and fits 5 adults. You can get a full size SUV for more room. There are also many options to upgrade. For example: satellite, eco-friendly, customized leather seats.

Lexus offers a wide range of cars. These include sedans, SUVs, and sports cars. There are sub categories within each type of vehicle that generally relate to the size of the car - for example in the SUV category the smallest is the NX, the middle is RX and the largest is GX. Each of these categories also may have sub categories that usually relate to trim level. The Lexus car brand has always stood for a high quality luxury vehicle. Typically each model will include almost all of the features that one would think are associated with a luxury car within the standard price. There are additional packages of specialized features that are grouped logically at more cost - for example a cold weather package would include heated seats, 4 wheel drive, etc. The Lexus RX is a 5 passenger vehicle - two bucket seats in the front and a bench seat with seating for three in the back. There is no third row in this car. Each model has upgrade options that are presented as packages so that you can personalize the options to your needs to a degree. You are forced to go with a package even if you do not want or need everything in that package. That is a drawback to me.

My RX 350 has bad radio static. It is on both AM/FM, although the AM is MUCH worse. I have had service on this numerous times. They said they have replaced the radio and the antenna and still the static continues. The service department contacted the national technical department and they had no further fixes and said it works as designed. I have escalated my complaint to the Customer Service center in Torrance, CA. They are now saying they are unable to help me any further. It seems completely unacceptable that a luxury car company would not only make such an inferior product, but that they refuse to acknowledge the problem even though there are numerous complaints found on the internet. I will continue to fight this problem.

I call Lexus and they told me bring it in and they take pictures and turn out my extended warranty not cover. WTH and they had the nerve to charge me around $1200 and they ask can I afford to paid $500+. I told them I cant afford to paid anything. It suppose to be cover and they even said that they have customer with same problem. They will contact me 3-4 weeks and let me know how much it cost. Makes me dont want to buy any kind of Lexus car ever. Im disgusted.

I am a current owner and driver of a 2007 Lexus is250. This car was purchased brand new in October 2006 from the Westminster Lexus dealership. Since the very beginning this car has had many problems which include numerous manufacturer recalls. In 2011, shortly before the warranty expired, the navigation unit went out. By the time the car was taken in, it was 60 miles over the warranty miles (Warranty was void because of mileage not years). The dealership said that we would have to pay for the repairs and quoted the repair to be $2,300+. Also around this time, the dashboard began to get sticky. Another repair that would have to be fixed out of pocket. This car has been very well taken care of. We made sure that we followed all the manufacturers recommendations on how to properly care for this car. We have never used any solvent or spray on the dashboard and followed the recommendations to use warm water. A sunshade has been used since the first day to shield the sun away from the dark interior. I have tried countless times to see if any Lexus dealership could help me out because this has to be a manufacturers defect but no dealership has offered to help. I have met several Lexus owners that have experienced the same problems. I have read on online forums even more people from all parts of the United States and in the U.K. who have the same problems. I am not as concerned with the little problems with the car as much as I am with the navigation unit and the dashboard. I finally decided to contact Consumer Affairs after a friend suggested I do. She has a separate problem with her Lexus and said that bringing this to your attention may finally get results. I feel as though buyers of Lexus are getting the short end of the stick. We spend so much money purchasing a luxury car but end up with a defective vehicle that requires more money to fix. Im not even going to go into details about the cars paint.

Lexus needs a few more models as to distinguish itself from other luxury brands. Right now, Lexus has a staple of sedans and coupes for a sporty type of brand. I am not impressed with their SUV and perhaps they need a different type of crossover. I found too that Lexus did not offer as many upgrades as I had hoped to find from a luxury car company. I felt limited by the options available. Otherwise, Lexus has a very Alex and modern look which is supported by modern in-car features. Lexus does a good job of incorporate a more modern feel into a luxury car. The car also fits about 4 comfortably which is more than enough for me. I think it very average in that respect.

Im the original owner of a 2005 Lexus RX 330 and its garaged daily and serviced only at the dealer. A few weeks back, the dash started showing little hairline cracks in areas above the glove compartment/airbag location and they are getting bigger by the week. I contacted Lexus’ headquarters and they will not do anything about it. The dealers tell me it was due to a faulty material used in the dash that separates and corporate is aware. But since they dont get enough complaints, they will not replace because its very costly! Thanks, Lexus, for your piece of crap car that you wont take any responsibility for. Trust me, I wont be buying your product ever again. I remained loyal to you and your dealerships for years and now you cant even stand behind your product!

I bought LEXUS LS 460 L 2011 in may 2011 new from Lexus dealer with trade my old RX hybrid 2008. My car break down within one year, Lexus took 18 days to fix it without charging any money from me and said it is under warranty. The same problem came last month including some issue in front end. I still have warranty, they keep my car for 2 weeks, then service advisor call me and told me that Lexus is not fixing the car because they said car has bed GAS, you speak Lexus and give me telephone number. I call Lexus, the lady who has my case said to me that because you using this car as a limousine that is why we decline your warranty. I told the lady that this car and also previous car I was using was limousine and dealer knows because they get me the limousine plate number. Then she said call your insurance. They will cover your car. I call insurance company, they said we only cover body damage, not mechanical problem, then I call Lexus lady again now she said we decline your warranty because you got bed gas, now you go to gas station and sue them, we are not fixing your car.You know why she said that, because they fixed my front end and change one of front air shock and Actuators absorb that is why she cannot denied anymore about warranty. Now I am in problem calling Lexus but not getting any response from them. Please, I request consumer affairs and Lexus head office to take some action, this is very expensive car I bought over $90,000.00 including tax and finance. Thanks.

Earlier this year I noticed that my dashboard was sticky to the touch (melting) and the control buttons on my steering wheel were peeling off. After a quick Google search I found a recall on the 2007-2008 Lexus 350 dash and thousands experiencing the issue with peeling controls. When I brought my car in, the dealer said the dashboard recall had just expired and Id need to get approval to fix it along with the peeling controls. Lexus corporate REFUSED to fix their known manufacture errors. Funny, I was planning on buying another Lexus, but Ill spend my hard earned $ with a brand who truly values customers and fixes issues when they are at fault. Lexus claim to quality is bogus!

I have a Lexus 350 bought in 2013. I love it!!! However, I think there is a potential danger in one of the features of placement of knobs!!! The ignition round button to the right of the steering wheel and the knob for the radio are too close together and I have twice now pushed the radio button thinking I had turned the ignition off!!!!!!! There was extraneous noises from a lawn mower and I just went inside and left the car running. I was shocked when I came out an hour later and found the car running. I believe the two buttons, probably the ignition button should be placed in another area higher, lower or someplace away from the radio button. Now I realize if I had locked the car it might have sounded an alarm, but not sure. Sometimes it is not necessary for me to lock my car and I just push the button and go inside. I am now very nervous and feel stressed about pushing the wrong button and always going out to re check. Would appreciate your feedback on this for what I think is a design problem and could cause a dangerous situation. Thank you so much. This note.

I own my 4th Lexus car which is a 2020 new 250h UX Lexus model. Ever since the car was delivered to me I am complaining about a strange noise coming from the Runflex tires the car has. The dealer would not accept the complaints nor change the tires and my general very good experience with the previous Lexus cars I owned is now completely different and the ride is just not enjoyable to say the least!!
