LEAKED: Buicks New Logo Spied On A Car For The First Time
Posted On: March 29, 2022
Once a symbol of American luxury, the Buick brand has taken a backseat in recent years and, as a result, has fallen from grace. That's not to say its latest offerings are poor, but they're nothing like they once were. In recent years, the brand has been relegated to selling poorly disguised Opel/Vauxhall products here in the US. Simply put, the brand doesn't enjoy the popularity it once used to, with models such as the Encore set to be discontinued very shortly. As the electric era beckons, there's no better time to rebrand. We previously reported on the brand's reinvention when CarBuzz discovered a trademark for a redesigned Buick logo. At the time, the carmaker chose not to comment. "Buick has no announcements to make in relation to speculative reports regarding a logo change."rnHowever, an image of the new badge has surfaced on Instagram, confirming our suspicions. Seen below, the new, modernized badging is affixed to what appears to be a new steering wheel design. The new logo is thoroughly modern, appearing more minimalistic than before. It eschews the roundel and now sees all three shields standing in unison, as opposed to the current cascading design. The overall effect is classier and does away with the stuffy badging that's been around for the better part of thirty years. It will almost certainly debut on a new model, as evidenced by the aforementioned steering wheel design. The rounded wheel hub looks more sporting than before and is adorned with metallic switchgear. While the rest of the tiller remains disguised, we can also see the lack of a physical gauge cluster. A dormant digital display is sited just behind and will bring a much-needed bout of contemporary flair to the driver's interface. Additionally, a column-mounted shifter will come in handy, doing away with the oft-criticized push-button controls seen in certain models. It's currently unknown when the carmaker will debut the new badge but, based on the production-ready finish of the steering wheel, it can't be too long now. Perhaps the brand is working on an extensive update for its range of SUVs, which would bring a much-needed refresh and introduce the new corporate image. Then again, it's also possible that it may arrive on the Regal replacement, expected in 2023. With the race to electrify model ranges, Buick will need to introduce an electric vehicle very soon if it wants any chance of survival. The badge could be announced in conjunction with an EV newcomer, such as the Electra concept seen above. It would herald a fresh start for the brand in a battery-powered future and, as such, be deserving of a new logo.

Buick is very reliable. I have been very happy with the cars Ive owned, looking into buying a new vehicle very soon like a Volkswagen Jetta or any Sedan or a SUV. I love the Volkswagen Jetta appearance throughout the years. Its always been a very adorable car and its features have been getting better with the years. They offer a lot of features with the new vehicle. It does get pricey but honestly its cheaper than most brand new vehicles out there and they are very reliable cars. They are very comfortable and spacious. They are differentially the type of luxury Im looking for. Besides, a SUV would be more room for everyone in my house.

There are a number of different cars to choose from such as luxury and nonluxury, small and midsize with prices ranging from as low as 12,000 to as high as 30,000. The Buick was dark blue and is a midsize car with front and rear row seats. I went with some of the most basic options. It has cruise control and OnStar. It has power locks and keyless entry. It also has a USB port and satellite radio. There is also enough room to seat 5 people to be seated comfortably in the car. There is also plenty of leg room for everyone.

There are so many models to choose from. Whether you have a family, are a couple or single, you are sure to find one that fits your lifestyle. My Buick Regal has four door with keyless entry, power windows, super great air conditioning and heat. Extremely quiet ride. The factory radio even sounded wonderful and I upgraded it which was excellent. I also had special rims and chrome put on the car. I also was able to custom order the color of upholstery I wanted. You had choices of that as well. Leather or cloth. And had I wanted, I could have had the console different. I also added Bluetooth so I could talk hands free. My Regal was very spacious. I sat the oldest upfront and had a car seat and my 2 daughters in the back. They were able to sit comfortably, with plenty of room, which is very important to keep fights from occurring.

Buick offers a wide variety of sedans and suv like vehicles. They are all very luxurious and they ride very smooth. My Regal has a turbocharger that keeps the engine rpm really low. I love that my car can climb my hill ridden terrain and still get phenomenal gas mileage. The car has a wonderful sound system and Bluetooth connectivity, too. Also, the car is extremely roomy. I can fit four adults rather comfortably in back seat of the car and I love the dual climate control up front because my wife is always cold and I cant stand having the heat blow on my face. They are a very high quality vehicle manufacturer. I would recommend them to anyone.

What a waste of cash paid out of pocket!!! LEMON LEMON LEMON!!! Future I will buy foreign! Just after purchase wheel bearing out - dealership replaced the part and new tires. Engine out before 60,000 miles-necessary towing from interstate. Trunk release had to be replaced... fixed with key chain. Transmission out before 80,000 miles- towing necessary broke down in parking garage. 3 windows would not work up or down- replaced. 4th window out- someone suggested replace door panel unit to operate windows which Buick knew was a problem rather than previously spent $400 per window. AC problem - have constantly had to add Freon every season and now for second time since 2 months ago needs it again... LEMON!!! Bag of trouble! Now 104,000 miles from since I bought it and seals need to be replaced. I have to rent a car to drive any distance since afraid I will break down again! Not dependable at all!!! Women DO NOT BUY BUICK BECAUSE IT IS NOT RELIABLE!!! Contacted Buick 7 years ago but no response! Horrible experience and expensive to replace all these parts and towing!!! Attorney may contact me if you take it out of the winnings! Think still have original receipt... in SUV.

And theyve all been great cars. They are built safe back then and that is what else I like. Its been a real durable car. Deer have ran in it a few times and been fixed and still keeps going. I have a 2010 Buick Enclave. It recently started having steering issues at low speeds. I took it to my local repair shop and recommended a rack assembly replacement. It did not fix the issue. I did some research and found that Buick has been problems with this issue. I took my car back to the repair shop and they looked and found that there was a special coverage adjustment for this. It extended the coverage for 10 years or 150,000 miles. They say they will pay for the expenses if they have already been done. I was told I was mailed a recall in 2014, which I did not. This was about the time I purchased the car used. The representative had my mailing address as MA not MS. Then said it was MS.Bottomline, they refuse to pay for it, saying my deadline was 2015 and I should have taken it to a dealer. I had no knowledge there was a recall (even though it had been in dealer earlier in year) and did not have issues until late 7/2016. If I did, why would I take it to a local repair shop. Guess the 10 year extension really does not mean the paper it is printed on. The local dealer would not even attempt to help with getting a refund, even though on page 14 it says they should help. Not please with the Buick family with my first Buick. Likely to be last due to this.

Buick LeSabre was a four door sedan with roomy seating both in the front as well as the rear passengers area. The trunk was a nice size to fit a wheelchair and walker in without any concerns. It had a body style that was both practical and pleasing to look at. The color was silver and came with air bags. It had a nice sound system with cassette and CD features. There was a cruise control, ABS breaking system and power windows and door locks. It was bought used and was a standard model, but it road quite smoothly on the roadways.

Buick does not have too many models, which might be a good thing, since you dont get confused. And the models cover most of what you really need. It was white and actually the biggest car I have ever driven. The interior is pretty roomy with three sets of safe belt in front seat, so I guess it can take three people. Never seen this in other cars. It is a sedan holding six people. This is the only car I have seen with such high capacity. Although maybe you need some pretty slim passengers.

I have owned my Rainier for 4 1/12 years and have recently had issues with the air suspension system. As I drive or when it’s parked, the vehicles rear end drops, which causes headaches and stomach pain from the bouncing around as I drive. I have researched this issue and found numerous complaints with the same issue. I have taken very good care of the vehicle, and feel that Buick/GM should cover the costs of the repair, since this is a default/defect in the manufacturing of the vehicle and no fault of my own. I am paying a 450.00 monthly car payment that I feel is a LEMON, and I am very frustrated, embarrassed, and dismayed.

Buick is the only vehicle we trust. I like my Buick Century custom. Its a great family vehicle and very perfect for my family. It has big trunk space great for a stroller or wheelchair. Its very spacious. It has a lot of foot space and arm space. The kids have a decent amount of arm space so you dont have to worry about them hitting each other. It also has child locks on both back doors and it rides smooth. Buick has amazing looks to it with its pearly white paint. Its a comfy ride and my kids love it and so does my husband. The car was given to us for a baby shower gift and we love it. Buick can do anything to this vehicle. They can personalize anything you want from paint jobs to new speakers and radio. From rims, tires, steering wheels and led lights to basically anything. If you ask they will do it.

For the past 8 months, I have only been able to drive my Buick for 2 weeks at a time without having serious issues. The engine light will come on and I get the following error messages: reduced engine power, max speed 32 mph, traction control off, service StabiliTrak. The first time this happened, I was on the interstate driving 75 mph! Since the end of July, I have had my car in for service multiple times at several different service centers. It has now been at Todd Wenzel Dealership in Davison, MI since January 6th (today is March 22nd), with no diagnosis. Today I was told they cannot diagnose it until the vehicle gets worse and that I should drive it until another symptom develops! They said since they cannot replicate the problem, they dont deem the car unsafe to drive.I have kept records that detail the issues I have been having and the attempts that have been made to fix it. If I did not still owe $12,000 I would have gotten rid of this car by now. I have been told: Total customer satisfaction is important at Buick. If this is truly the case, then Buick/GM should step up and make this right: either figure out the problem and fix it, or give me a replacement vehicle worth what I still owe. This is just not ok and I am at my wits end.

We bought our 2013 Buick Regal brand new from Castle Buick in North Riverside IL. We purchased the car thinking the 4 cyl. engine would be more economical than our Chevy V6 cyl. Impala. The Buick 4 cyl. has yet to come even close to the E.P.A. mileage ratings and after 60000 miles still cant touch the overall mileage of the Impala V6. At 32000 miles we had to replace right rear wheel bearings and a engine pulley that turns the pumps. Which the dealer Castle Buick replaced under warranty. Then a few thousand miles later the wheel bearing went out again. The dealer replaced the bearing for real this time under warranty. Now 69000 miles the engine pulley went out again and the dealer claims its out of Warranty even for the one they replaced at 36000 miles 20 months later and charged us $443.00. Very disappointed in the Buick Regal and Castle Buick. Ill think twice about another Buick. Honda here I come.

No one contacted me even though they signed for the letter. I made numerous calls to them with continuous run around on their part. I have already had to have part of the seat belt replaced once and it is still something wrong with it. You would think they would care about safety issue but it is apparent they dont care. They just tell me to take the car back to the dealership and wait. I like my car overall but after the lack of care from the Customer Assistance Center, have second thoughts. The car capacitys all right even though it doesnt hold a lot, on a scale of 1-10 (10 being satisfying) I would rate the capacity 8 out of 10. I love the upgrade and the options they offer. I was in search of a good sized SUV and decided on the Buick Encore. Perfect size for what I wanted and needed. Good on gas and a comfortable ride. I live in a cold weather state and the option of heated seat and steering wheel made this choice simple for me. It offered ample leg room as well as comfortable seat belt fitting. Since this was my first time actually purchasing a car I went with various updates. I picked forward collision alert, Bose surround system, lane departure warning, rear vision camera, memory seat, and remote vehicle starter. I am single but I have more than enough room to fit my nieces, nephews, and younger cousins. It does not seem like it from the outside but the interior is very roomy which adds to a comfortable fit for all.

I contacted Nimnicht Buick-GMC about a pre-owned vehicle. After a week of email correspondence, phone calls, and online credit applications, I went into the dealership. I only traveled this far away from home because I was advised via email and telephone that I was approved for a car loan with no money down. Once I arrived at the dealership, I was asked for a $500 down payment. I refused to do this as this was not what we had previously agreed upon. As with many auto dealerships, they told me what they thought I wanted to hear to get me to come in. I refuse to make the down payment because I felt I was totally misled for an entire week. Jason ** and Elizabeth ** were the individuals I dealt with. I went to a dealership less than a mile from my home and purchased the vehicle I desired. They will never receive any of my business and as many people as I can spread this to will be turned against them. They should not make a practice of lying to their customers as this is NOT good business.

I bought a Buick Century from my parents a couple of years ago. It was in tremendous condition, spotless. But in that period of time, the following has happened: The plastic gaskets GM uses in their vehicles deteriorated causing a major repair, the power windows failed, the catalytic converter went twice, I am told the anti-freeze used in these vehicles is faulty and is slowly eating away at the interior of the rubber hoses causing a horrible sludge problem in the radiator. And if all that isnt costly enough, the paint is literally falling off my beautiful car. Buick of course will do nothing, everything is out of warranty. I miss my Toyota vehicles that I easily got 200,000+ miles on with none of these horrible issues. I would never recommend or purchase a GM vehicle again. What a piece of **.

At 87,600 miles the wave plate for the transmission in my 2008 Enclave is gone; $3800 to rebuild, $5400 to replace. Apparently the wave plate is a consistent issue with many of the GM products. GM should take responsibility for this faulty part and issue a recall. After the local dealership quoted me the price, I call GM corporate to complain. There are thousands of complaints on the 2008/2009 Enclave on several blogs & forums. GM took my complaint and contacted the local dealership and came back with - 30% off the rebuild with 12 month/12,000 mile warranty. Please note the rebuild will ONLY replace the broken parts. Update 11/21/2019:
Update 11/21/2019: I did reach out again to GM and again they denied any help. I firmly believe that if word gets out , they did mine, that there will be others banging on their doors with legal representationI was very professional and nice ,I stated ,and not even a percentage ,their response ,we are not changing our decision. Whats upsetting is that this is a known issue. Original review:I ordered a 2011 Buick LaCrosse CXL AWD, it is a loaded vehicle, almost every option, it has and always will be garaged, maintained by buick, it is always clean and washed, waxed, and maintained, looks like brand new. In and out, in early June of 2019, I noticed paint coming off my vehicle in flakes, I luckily have a close friend who has a auto body shop near me, he saw it and was totally surprised to see paint flaking off the vehicle on the left side rear roof area and on the right side rear defroster glass body channel area, the rear glass had to be removed for repaint, headlines dropped, and repaired as necessary, its like new, since the auto body shop my friend owns is very professional.I reached out to General Motors with pictures and a estimate, they denied any repairs due its age, and not even a percentage, buick offered and gave me $100.00 as a service voucher. The vehicle has received many compliments on how it looks and drives, this is my vehicle, my last vehicle, and I maintain it like new. The repairs actually came to $2400.00Funny thing is that it is white, and GM had a problem then on white and silver cars due to the paint flaking off due to improper application of primer, and Mary T Barra had buick executive office reach out to me, which they never did, I reached out to her, and she appeared to read a pre scripted letter on paint, little does she know, I have been around cars for a long time, from Chevrolet, Ford and I recently retired from a BMW dealership after 19.5 years and she is telling me how it is, the problem is, general motors offered nothing, not even a percentage on something that they knew and know was a problem.

They have a wide variety of all sizes of cars and SUVs which is nice to have a selection to choose from. And they all ride really nice as well even the bigger models. I really liked the appearance of their SUVs. They did not look big and bulky like some of the SUVs that offer a lot of room. I also like how easily accessible all the features were, and they were all easily reachable for the driver. I got my Buick used so it was mostly standard features and not upgraded or personalized. But there is a wide variety of options to choose from if you want to upgrade and personalize the vehicles. I loved how roomy the Rendezvous was. Each passenger had more than enough space and mine sat 5 very comfortably, because I didnt have the third row seating. If I was to buy new I would definitely upgrade too!

Been fighting Buick for 4 months to get them to reimburse me for known fuel system issues just because I didn’t take to Buick dealer (I don’t trust the Buick dealership in the town where the car wouldn’t start). Ridiculous how bad the communication has been! Family has been loyal Buick family for over 60 years but we will never own another Buick and we will discourage any family members or friends from ever purchasing a Buick!

Who makes Vehicles between cars and two full size SUVs. Buick seemed to contain a sleek, stylish yet realistic look. They stay up on Trends and tend to know what the consumer is looking for. They always try to provide the best looking and the most up-to-date features that come with their vehicles. And the quality is amazing. Also, I am satisfied that my vehicle is all the features that it does have to offer. Vehicle that I bought is very roomy, and has enough room for at least up to six passengers. Its a perfect family vehicle if thats what you were looking for.

I purchased my 2011 Buick Regal CXL Turbo October 2013. There has been multiple issues with this car, ALL electrical. The signals and headlights continues to blow and I had to change my battery twice in 2 years. I really like the idea of purchasing an American made car but this car is going to bankrupt me. I am now dealing with a blown fuse. GM had really failed with this vehicle. I ran into a lady with this make/model vehicle and she is experiencing the same issues. GM really needs to be held responsible for this. I have all of my receipts for service and with this vehicle, something has to be done!

I purchased a 2015 Encore in 2016. I took it in for regular service at the dealer from which I purchased the car. Didnt have any problems with it until this year. We were taking a cross country trip to Albuquerque. On 6/23, we were about an hour out of Albuquerque when there was suddenly a loud noise coming from the engine. I immediately took it off cruise control and the noise stopped. I reengaged cruise control and the noise started again. So I disengaged cruise and every time I tried to accelerate, that noise started again. I took the car to the dealer the next day, and was told that the turbocharger was gone. Then the bad news got worse. They told me there were no spare turbochargers in the country. They put it on national backorder and couldnt tell me when one would be available. After nearly a week, the dealer told me that they had made arrangements for a one-way rental which I would have to turn in when I got back home. They also told me that I could then rent another car until mine got fixed, and then they would ship it to me here in Maryland. They also told me I could submit the rental car bill to GM and MAYBE they would pay it. I decided to buy a new car instead, primarily because I had no idea how long I would be driving a rental car and there was no guarantee that GM would pay the bill. Now my brand new 2019 Encore is in the shop with a broken charge air plate. No idea how long it will take to get the part. Meanwhile Im in another rental. What happened to quality control??

The variety of models is very selective and the colors and the new designs are simply the best out there. The new safety features are one of the many reasons why I purchased Buick. The wide selection of new colors and new styles made my decisions so much easier. The dealership sales people were extremely helpful and this made my shopping experience a great joy. Over the years Buick was really stepped up the overall look and design of their vehicles, and the new looks are extremely stylish and great looking. We can sit 6 people comfortable in my car. There is plenty of leg room and head room and no one is crammed up. The trunk space is wider and deeper and gives me the ability to put more in there.

The newer models on the floor looked updated with more variety. For a used car the Lucerne has a lot of great features; leather heated seats, rain sense wipers, smart seats. Great options and features for the price paid. My car is very roomy and spacious. 5 people total including driver with lots of leg room. Large trunk space for storage. I purchased my 2012 Buick Verano when Buick introduced the new series in 2012. It was fairly loaded with many options and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed that car. However I did have several manufacturer issues. In the first 2 years I had to 1. Force dealership to replace windshield because there was literally a full hand print within the windshield (during manufacturing someone touched either the glass or the safety plastic thats inside before glass was finished or fused together. It was right in my line of sight. Dealership went round and round finally they admitted they could see the issue and agreed to replace under warranty. 2. Rear window replaced. A strip in the heating element stopped working. Dealership had nerve to ask me if I could live with it... REALLY?? Its unset warranty of course I want it replaced. The factory paint job was sub par. I didnt realize it at first but it became obvious quickly. The bottom part of rear wheel wells behind where you catch ask the runoff and splash from tires started fading right away. Hood, bumper, roof all chipped way too easily... Regardless of these things I loved the Verano. It was totaled in an accident in 2015. I immediately bought a 2015 Verano. This one was way better, loved the build in wifi/ 4G LTE. It also came with advanced safety features and improved touchscreen infotainment.Only had 1 flaw that I didnt even realize. When I had it at a different dealership for oil change, I was going to buy touch up paint. The service manager was looking at my car and noticed few spots not quite right. Turned out after they flew someone from their GM headquarters out to Portland Oregon. He confirmed that my car was one of a select batch that had defective paint jobs. So they put me in a loaner for almost 3 weeks and my Verano had to be completely repainted. Since they contract that out, I was lucky enough to get a way better paint job than manufacturer. So as of just 2 months ago I finally got the car I always wanted but its usually way too expensive for my taste lol. I saw a 2014 Buick LaCrosse fully loaded and a premium pearl diamond paint job heads up display. This car was $47, 000 brand new. It was a one owner lease and had incredibly low miles on it. It still looked and smelled new. They were selling it for $21.000. I didnt hesitate I knew it wouldnt last long.. So far Im in heaven with my LaCrosse. I really cant find anything wrong with it. Its powerful, very quiet, feels sporty as well as elegant and comfortable... FINGERS CROSSED! So, obviously Ive had opportunity to change brands but I really do like Buick. I had never driven or owned one before 2012. Unless Buick introduces another great model I really want. I may most likely change to a different look and feel. I hope this helps anyone with questions or doubts.

I dont know how well those guys have road tested the 2011 Lacrosse v6 with the 18 wheels before they put it into production, but I can tell you they did not do a good job. I am one of the unlucky owners of the 2011 Lacrosse and I am completely disappointed with this supposed luxury vehicle. The main culprit is the terrible road noise coming from the wheels. On any surface that is slightly rougher than completely smooth asphalt, the noise is very excessive. We compared the road noise with a 2002 very used Nissan Altima and found noise in the Lacrosse to be much worse. Especially on any metal junctions, such as the bridges and overpasses, and on rough cement or asphalt surfaces, the tires sound as though someone was hitting the vehicle with a hammer on the metal joints and there is that overwhelming low frequency noise like a plane flying in close proximity on gravel and other rough surfaces. The tire noise is the same on all the 2011 Lacrosses with the 18 rims. The other problem is the exhaust. The two mufflers sound like a boom box at very low rpms. We plugged one up to test where the noise comes from and found the car 50% quieter. Apparently the other muffler is just for the looks and does not serve the purpose that it was designed for; that is, muffling the noise. I did not have a chance to see if you did anything about the tire noise on the 2012 models, but I did see that they did something with the exhaust system. I am a dissatisfied owner and will most likely never buy any GM product again. I have contacted their customer service on multiple occasions, but to no avail. I only wanted them to put the17 wheels on, which are much better suited for this type of vehicle. I hope no one else gets fooled like me. I have read many reports by the owners on the web, I guess they must be deaf.

We have a 2007 Buick with 25,000 miles on it and the GM engineers cannot figure out what is wrong. First we took the car to Richard Kay Superstore in Anderson, SC. They had it for 3 weeks, told me they called the GM engineers but never documented it. Gave us the car back, said it was fixed but the engine light came on within one hour driving the car home. Called the dealer back, they offered no solution, left us very disappointed. We decided to try the local Chevrolet dealer, Sonic Chevrolet in Walhalla, SC. They had the car for two months, replaced a number of sensors. Contacted the GM engineers, started a issue ticket with them. Sonic Chevrolet took the time with us and said if the light comes on again there are only two things left, one that will cost $700.00 and the other that costs $1,000.00. They said the engineers told them they have never seen this happen before.Well after two days the light is back on. Since we have already spent $1,000 on parts and another $650 on new tires. I should say we originally purchased the car new and always had it serviced by GM dealers and mechanics on a regular basis. We will be bringing the car back to Sonic Chevrolet in Walhalla SC. With this issue, one needs to ask, why would anyone want to buy a GM vehicle when the computer or engineers cannot find out why the engine light is on? Seems to me that if there was no computer you wouldnt need all of the sensors and there wouldnt be a issue with a engine light, and I wouldnt have had the car tied up for three months or had to spend the money on top of the regular service we had done.

My 2015 Buick Encores engine blew at 40,000 miles on Christmas eve. It is all under warranty. Theyre replacing the engine and that took a few weeks for the Buick dealer to get because there were problems getting the correct engine from GM. Then, when they installed it, it had a wrong part. The dealer had been trying to get that part from GM for weeks but no idea when they will get it. The dealer asked me to help by calling Buick Customer Service to escalate the problem of getting parts to the dealer. I have left messages every other day for over a week now and twice requesting a Supervisor but I still havent received a response from Buick. My car has been at the dealer a month and a half now, I have no car, no loaner, and still no response from Buick customer care. I recommend choosing a car made by a different company because what good is a warranty when they cant get parts to fix your car and nobody cares enough to return a phone call. Not a good company.

Now that I know that the Buick Rendezvous is a money pit, I am certain that the dealer does not care about the quality and reliability of the cars it produces. I have sunk nearly 8,000 dollars into a 2002 Buick Rendezvous because I was locked into a car note and could not afford another car. Sad day when you want to buy American but the product is subpar to competitors. Not only that most of the owners of these cars dont even know that they will never be able to go more than 3 months without an expensive repair of some type, be it transmission, hub bearings, differential, cooling and heating, relays, window motors, power steering, etc., it goes on and on. I will never buy another Buick and hope others will take the time to research the product before they purchase this money pit. I love American products, I wish that the producers loved us enough to produce something that wont bankrupt you, or at least pretend you are listening. Check engine light came on with major loss of power and hesitation. After three times turning off ignition, computer reset. Took the auto to a Buick dealership in Buford, GA and was told to bring back when light on. When back in Mass went on internet and found accelerator control light and traction control caused by moisture in connector junction. Mechanic found moisture in junction box and applied fix recommended by Buick tech order - moisture remover and covering tape. Under drizzle and fog condition, problem reoccurred. Suspect this is a manufacturing engineering problem - junction box in wrong location (over strut) allows road spray to be kicked up from wheels causing condition to reoccur during wet road conditions. Why hasnt Buick corrected this problem?

My Buick was so beautiful inside and out and if I ever have the chance to buy me another one I will. We all were so blessed to be alive after the hard impact from the other car. Looking at my car after the accident one would wonder if the driver or passenger survived. My husband purchased the Buick LaCrosse 2011, and most every time, I get out of the passenger side of the car, I hit my knee on the part of the dashboard that points out. I have so many injuries to my left knee, I cant tell you. Soon, as it heals up a little, I go in my husbands car, and hit it again. I tried adjusting the height and distance of the seat, but I dont want the seat to be way back, or someone adjusts it, and I forget to push it far back. I have never had anything like this with any car I was in, ever. I have a real dislike for this car, and I want him to give it back. I would like to know if anyone else has this problem with this car design.

While driving, my 2011 Buick Regal CXL suddenly lost acceleration and when I tried to change gears from drive to reverse...nothing! The car would not change gears and if I put my foot on the gas it had power but no acceleration. When I took/towed it to the dealer, after their check, I was told they could not find anything wrong with the transmission, sensors, nothing...except the brakes!I was told I do not drive my car very much, 7000 miles in 13 months, and my brakes pads were sticking causing the sensors to be confused, and the car did not know what gear it was to be in so it stopped. This does not seem possible to me...however, I am not the expert. I do not want to spend $650.00 on an overall brake job and still have the same problem. I definitely do not want to be on the highway and lose control like this, no acceleration and no gears.

While Toyotas are excellent vehicles, my family has always been pretty loyal to the General Motors line of vehicles. This is the second Buick I have had, and if this one is as good as the first I had, Ill be driving it for a long time. Its a good looking car, and is extremely comfortable to ride in as a driver or passenger. The Lucerne has interior features that are what I use a lot, other than Bluetooth. I could do without that. The interior is leather, with wood accents. It also has the standard AM/FM radio with a CD player. Moreover I really enjoy the air conditioning, as I had no air conditioning in my 84 Camaro, other than windows and t-tops wide open. The body lines are nicely curved, and give a bit of a different flair to it than most others have. Overall, it drives beautifully, its really comfortable.

It has nice floor carpeted flooring, too. The different shift gears are also amazing. I like that I upgraded it with new LED lights on the floor and the roof. I also changed the paint job and put new tires on. The old tires werent going to make it to winter. And its very spacious. Its room for my family and a extra person to fit. We always can go on family outings and all because of the room we have in the car.

How stupid can GM get and what a ripoff to a long-time Buick owner? If I have to pay $250.00, I will never buy a GM product again.

I have a 1998 Buick Regal GS. Ive owned it for 10 years. There was a recall to address a valve cover gasket that allowed oil to leak on to hot exhaust causing fires. The gasket was fixed. The car continues to leak oil onto the exhaust and the catalytic converter. Also the car cuts out when the turn signal is used. It restarts. But when it cuts out, power steering and brakes are inoperative. Many Buicks and GM vehicles do the same according to the NHTSA complaints. Why is there no recall? This is why people buy Japanese. We were told not to park the car in the garage or close to the house.

I bought a 2006 Buick LaCrosse several years ago. Two weeks after purchase, the check engine light came on. It would take at least two pages here to list ALL the problems Ive had with this car EVER SINCE!!! I have now spent over $5,000 on repairs, and as I write this, it is powering down, and the reservoir coolant keeps leaking... somewhere not visible!!! I dont have any more money to bring it to a Mechanic AGAIN!!! The last time I brought the car in for repairs was at Auto Select at 2128 Main St., Green Bay, WI. 54302 (phone: 920-465-3790.) I had to take out yet ANOTHER loan to pay them!!! ($1,600) If A & B Auto or GM doesnt make this right, I feel personally obligated to let every one of my Family and friends know how they do not stand behind vehicles!!

My car needed some serious work, and has for several months. There is an issue with the GM model of engine in my Buick that was brought to my attention about a year ago, that resulted a class action suit against GM. It was described to me as a slow deterioration of something within the engine (I am not a mechanic and do not claim to be. However, I am in a technical field). I have been saving up the money to get the (1000 dollars plus) repair done. About 3 months ago, my car started overheating. I was told that it would take about $1000 to $1500 to fix. But they said that they could not tell me exactly without taking the engine apart, which would cost several hundred dollars. They showed me how to put coolant directly into the radiator to avoid damaging the engine, until I could afford to get it fixed. I did it daily. The car kept running until eventually it overheated enough to cause several leaks, so I took it to them to fix. Originally, I was told it would be $1000 to $1500 to fix. They tentatively gave me a ballpark figure. I would not hold them to an estimate when they had not looked at the engine. And that is not what this complaint is about.By the time they called me the first time with an actual quote, it was around $2000 (I did not get it in writing). I asked them how much it would cost to fix the fan while they were in there (fan only worked on high, and was a preexisting issue). They told me it would add a couple hundred. I asked them to do that while they were in the engine. Once they called me back, they had found a bunch of other stuff that was wrong with my engine they had not quoted me for, and that it was now going to cost over 3000 dollars. When I told them to stop working on it, they informed me that they had already done 700 plus dollars worth of work. So, if they stopped, I would still have to pay that and my car would still not work. I could not afford this. But they assured me that the good news is that it passed the block test and the head gasket was fine. It had been tested several times. Since that was okay, my car would work for years after this repair.Having already been out of work for days without my car, I arranged to borrow money from my mother to cover the repairs, so I could get back to work. When I spoke with the mechanic to authorize the repairs, they listed a long list of everything that is needed to be done. It was a very long list. When they were done, I told them, I understand it needs quite a bit of work, but my only concern is the end result. I then asked them, If my car is only worth 4000 dollars, and I put 3020 dollars into it, when it is done, will it no longer overheat, will it be drivable, and will the heater work? The mechanic I spoke to (KJ **) said yes and continued to sell me on the repairs and what a good idea it was to do. I then asked the exact same question, just to be sure (I was planning for the worst) and got the same yes answer. The car was in the shop for a few days. The turn around was quite quick for the huge list of things that needed to be done (according to them). I called to check on it daily. I was never warned about any other problems. They told me on Saturday when I called that it was done, although I never received a call. And it was the end of the day when I tried calling. Im not even sure if they were open on a Saturday. And they told me that I had to come get it immediately. Well, it started out as him being pushy and encouraging me to come get it right then. But he eventually turned in to being flat out. He told me I had to pick it up because they did not have room on the lot for it.Regardless of if it was a rush job, a mistake on their part, or flat out fraud, I was sold an end result I did not get. When my girlfriend went to pick up the car to go to work (her work is approximately 1.5 miles from the auto mechanics shop), she was told that it was all fixed (just as I was on the phone). But she was told to keep an eye on it just in case and if it overheats to bring it back. She did not make it to work before it started overheating, not a mile and a half. Our house is only about a half mile away from her work (basically in between the two). So luckily, she was able to make it home after work. She told me it had gotten over half way to the red overheating in that short of a distance. So, the first thing I did the next day was to take it for a test drive (starting out fresh while it was still cold). It overheated off the charts within 10 blocks, red-line overheating. I immediately called the mechanic while letting the car cool down. It was the same guy who had sold me on the repairs (KJ **) and also the same guy that rushed it out the door. When I told him it was overheating, he sounded like he was trying to sound surprised. He was not sincere at all, very forced. He said, Oh really, thats weird. Then, he told me to let it cool down, take it back, and they would take care of it, and that they must have missed something. He said, You know, sometime things get overlooked. Being in a technical trade, I told him I understood (which I did, things happen). I asked him specifically: I have no money left. I just gave you guys 3000 dollars. I do not have. This will not cost me anything correct? He said yes. Once again, I repeated myself and made him repeat the same affirmative answer. I always cover my bases when there is a large amount of money on the line. The car was with them for several days, and I did not hear a word. They did not call me once. I kept calling. All KJ ** would tell me was that they were running a block test to see if it passed. He told me it passed one day, then it failed the next, and back and forth on 4 separate occasions. He said: It failed hot, so were going to let it cool down over night and test it again in the morning. It failed cold so were letting it run. Its been running for hours so it must be fixed (which is obviously a flat out lie, since it could not make it 10 blocks). It passed hot, and so on, going back and forth. He gave me no real answers and becoming less and less honest. This is the test they guaranteed me my car had passed initially before all of these repairs. And this was the whole reason it would be worth it to put $3020 into my 2000 Buick that is only worth $4000 or so.After four or five days total, KJ ** put me on hold for the first time. Then, someone named Nick (who refused to give me his last name when I called) got on the phone. He started listing off the things that needed to be repaired. I said, Thats great, but this is obviously not going to cost me anything extra right? He told me that since it failed the block test, it needed x done (head gasket I believe, along with some other things). And he told me that since that was not what they did initially, it would not be under warranty. Then, he started listing off things that were $400 to $500 a piece, which is where I cut him off. My response was (expletive deleted): Are you ** kidding me? You sell me on a 3000 dollar repair, guarantee me that the thing that is now broken is not broken and that’s the good news. You guarantee me an end result of a working car. But as soon as it drives off the lot, it cannot drive a mile. In addition to that, it broke in your possession due to being rushed or bad repair work, misdiagnosed, or whatever. Now you want more money?!I was obviously quite upset. He kept telling me the same not our problem type responses (that is not an actual quote, however everything else in this report is almost word for word). I told him I was going to call my lawyer. And I told them that I expect them to provide the service they charged me 3000 dollars for, and that was a working car. I told him I would call him back the next day. I immediately looked up everything I would need should they not honor the service they charged me for: this website (the BBB), the State Attorney General, King 5 news Scam Watch series, etc. I also found around 50 reviews online from other unhappy customers that claimed they had done the same thing to them (overcharged etc). Most of them were oil changes that ended up being hundreds. But a few of them were 2000 to 3000 dollar charges that were in the same or similar situations I was, except most of them at least had a working car to show for it!When I called the next day, the uncooperative Nick picked up the phone. I told him he had a day to think about the situation, and asked him if he had decided to do right by his customer. He continued the same not our problem responses. At that point is when I informed him I had legal counsel and that I would be filing with the BBB, State Attorney General, the credit card company, and have them featured on the news. I also told him that I would be taking him to court if they refused to provide the service that they had charged me for. He said, Lets go to court. One thing I find interesting is that when I was referring to my and KJ **s earlier conversation, he said yea that was me when I was quoting KJ **. He told me that I had talked to him. I never talked to him until they decided to try to get more money out of me. I pay very close attention to that type of thing in these situations. There are only 3 different employees I have ever spoken with there (Nick, Ken and KJ). KJ ** was new to me with this repair job. They dont even sound the same on the phone. KJ ** has a pretty noticeable accent, so this immediately jumped out at me as a complete lie. He was obviously trying to add credibility to his argument. Because if it was him I had been talking to, then he could argue about what had been said, and attempt to twist the end result. So, I am now filing this with you along with every other place I mentioned above. Thank you for your help. I just wanted my car fixed for the $3020 (less would have been better, but I was willing to pay it to have my car back and working). And I gave them countless opportunities to finish the job for the agreed upon price, all of which they refused. So now I am asking for my money back. I have been unable to work 2 weeks now due to being lied to, defrauded, sold a scam, and ripped off. I am an on-site computer technician and have to be able to get to a job site within 30 minutes, which is almost impossible in Seattle on public transit. Thank you for your assistance.

I purchased a 2010 Buick Lacrosse in July of 2010 and since I have bought it I have spent over $5000.00 in repairs in addition to warranty repairs that were covered. My check engine light came on and I was given a list of codes that were causing the problem. I fixed all recommended issues, only to have the light come on again a day later. I was given the run around about how that one light controls hundreds of components and that the dealership would fix it. The next day I was given the bogus excuse that because the area where my tank was located had been dented that I needed to replace the fuel tank reservoir because that was causing the problem. I took my car to a non GM dealer and was told it was something going on with my engine. I took my car back only to be told that it was my timing chain after I raised all kinds of hell about the erroneous diagnostics. After that repair, maybe a month later my car starts overheating and I was told that it was my water pump and that was going to be an additional $1200! I am so sick of this car that it is pathetic! I thought about trading the car in towards the purchase of another but with all the invested money on repairs, I feel like Im losing! I would never buy another Buick. I own a Lexus and BMW and have never had these kinds of problems. I love the body style and luxury of the car but the mechanical issues are too much for me. It seems that the quality of these parts are sub-par and below industry standards, just listen out for all the recalls that GM lists every month seems like! Imagine the other numerous issues that get swept under the rug only to be footed by the consumers. GM will lose a lot of its potential customer base with these mechanical concerns because anyone that asks about the performance of my car gets an earful thats surely able to deter them from buying one!
