I came for oil change and tire rotation on 9/23. After the services were performed, as soon as I went out, the check tire symbol came on my dashboard. This morning, I came to the dealer again and they took the van. After an hour, they said they fixed it. After riding 2-3 miles again, the check tires symbol came up. I again drove back to the dealer and they said the tire has to be replaced now. There was absolutely no problem with my van when I came yesterday for oil change and tire rotation. If there was a problem, they should have caught the problem on my 2 visits (within 7 hours). If I have to come 3 times in a span of 18 hours to a Honda dealer, what quality of service the dealer is providing?

Last week, I gave my Honda Stunner in one of the service center (Vahini motors, Kollam, Kerala) to correct certain complaints in the engine. I bought my bike just 8 months back, but I got an engine complaint. As they said, I changed an engine part (gasket) but still there is an unwanted noise while accelerating. Also, they had not corrected the RPM meter. All the services, that is the first four services, were done correctly. Looking forward for your reply.

I purchased a brand new Honda CRV from the United States in 2008. Right from the beginning, I thought it was a bit noisy underneath and the problem still persists. The dealer in the U.S is not prepared to help. The dealership in Ghana says I need to change the suspension and shocks and I dont believe that this is the case, especially when the road which I use to drive to work and back is tarred. Please advice on what to do since its still under warranty.

I purchased a brand new 2010 Honda Accord from Elk Grove Honda last year. Recently I heard a grinding noise just before I started the engine. I took my car to Elk Grove Honda for repair and was told they already knew a lot of Honda Accords have this problem. They will not repair it as this is how the Honda engineers design it and I should turn my ignition key very fast in order to ignore this noise. I did some research and found out this problem is caused by the bad VTC actuator in many of the Honda Accord model. The Elk Grove Honda still refused to repair my defective car even it is still under warranty.

I really like Honda. I am very happy with the purchase. I had other cars but I feel this one is less expensive in maintaining. I like the comfort and easy maintenance. Also has some automatic feature which are great. The chairs are nice and enough space for legs. However, there can be some improvements by adding more power to the car. For the price the car is good but still I will like the speed to be able to increase faster when I press the pedal. Other than that, I like everything about it and I want to buy another one.

2014 Honda Crosstour - After 3 months the driver door trim started peeling. I took it to dealership, they replaced it. After 1 1/2 months it has started again. As a goodwill gesture they will replace it one more time. I talked to customer service at Honda and they say its not a defect even though they see it happening on other Hondas.

Hondas PHEV Clarity cannot properly charge at public charging stations, specifically ChargePoint with dual ports. It handles fine at home with a dedicated 30A charger. We bought the car to take advantage of an employee benefit of free charging (up to 3 hours), but the vehicle cannot sustain uninterrupted charging. Numerous attempts to restart charging will cause the vehicle to malfunction including inability to start the car. This will result in waiting for at least 3 hours to allow the system to auto-recover from the multiple plug-in/plug-out attempts. Issue has been diagnosed by a local dealer, but Honda is too slow to address the problem.

I have a 2010 Honda Accord 4cl and have over 99,000 miles on it. I have brought my car in and also called the Dover, NH location. My car is using more than the 5qt. oil amount when I get my oil changed. Your employees response, I could pay for an oil change and maybe be reimbursed; However, if it is more than a quart over a 1,000 miles they wont pay for it. So, basically Honda is aware of the problem and is bullying customers! There is a recall and an extended warranty. I showed them the paper I received from Honda about the pistons sticking etc. My car is starting to make a noise also when it starts as well. I need it fixed. No one should have to go back several times to have an issue fixed. Just like the airbags! People are dying and your company should be fixing these issues. I have been very nice and patient. Your employees, NOT!!!

Bronx Honda refused to perform services due to a poor evaluation - Two years ago, I had some service work done and I was not happy so I gave Bronx Honda a poor evaluation. Yesterday, I went in for services and the service manager refused to service my vehicle because of my evaluation. I dont understand why we are asked for a survey of the dealers performance and then if the dealer is not happy with our suggestion, they can refuse services. Why own a Honda if the local dealer is not going to service your vehicle? I was also told that recall work cannot be refused, but they did refuse to perform my recall work. They also made me order and pay for the part, then refused services.

Hello, I visited Metro Honda service center on 4/8/2019 for regular service
Hello, I visited Metro Honda service center on 4/8/2019 for regular services. They change oil in my car on 28,503 miles and my current miles is 30,245 so just after I drive 1742 miles my cars oil life is 60% left. Actually when my car was on 30,000 miles that time I found that my cars oil life is now just 60% left. I clearly feels that this service center done something wrong with my car because as per my research I know that Honda Civic 2016 Ex-T model have synthetic oil and that have normally life of 7500 miles. In my car already 40% oil life is finished so I will get oil change soon around at 31,500-32,000 miles (from now after 1500 to 2000 miles). Every time I go to this service center and they are only the people changing oil in my car when this time I went there that customer service representative asked me that, Why are you just coming here for oil change and and why tire rotation and other services you are not giving us to do it here. I told them because they are charging too much money and not doing proper services so then customer service representative told me that, then why do you came here for oil change, go to the another service center who ever is giving you cheaper service, and that time I didnt give him any answer but I feel that this is not the right way to talk with the Honda customer. I am using Honda car because I have trust on the company. I strongly feels they did something wrong with my cars oil that why 40% of oil life finished too much early and previously I never seen that my oil life reduce this much faster. I am using my car daily. I have another same model car that is also 2016 Honda civic Ex turbo model and same silver color but that car I bought from another dealer and in that car also I drive same mileage and still in that car I change my cars oil around at 6000+ miles every time. I have trust on Honda that why I am using two same model of cars because I am driving it everyday. So I want refund for this oil change and also I want proper service for my car. I clearly feels that Metro Honda from where I bought my car and there I am going every time for oil change they did something wrong. Also, one more thing I would like to describe here that is before around 10 months ago at this service center they found that in one of my cars back side tire due to manufacturing fault there was something wrong with the brake and that they found after 2 years and 3 months after I drive my car for 24000 miles around. This is the thing which is risky for someones life. So you can imagine how much great services they are providing to the Honda customers.I want you to know that this is not a good business practice where they didnt behave good with the Honda customer and not giving them proper service. Please take some strict action on this and I want a clear justice for my car. Please fix my cars oil life problem. I hope I will get back very soon from the Honda Company and please solve the issue in my car with the oil life. -Harsh

Today I called and talked to American Honda. Ill start off with saying the worst customer service ever. They dont even offer to help you. They just apologize 10,000 times and then want to go about their way. My car isnt covered under the warranty for paint. For reasons I dont even understand. I have an 09 Civic. The paint is starting to deteriorate. It looks like someone literally took a scrub brush to my car and is in the beginning stages of my paint chalking. This is a 7-year-old car. Ive seen cars that are 15 years old that have better paint jobs than mine and they have been untouched. The only okay thing about my Honda is that it hasnt broken down on the side of the road yet. American Honda is the biggest joke of a company and so unwilling to help people. The issue needs to be pushed. My car is Crystal Black Pearl. I know its one of the color codes accepted for the repaint but my VIN isnt under the warranty nor did I get a letter. (I am not the original owner of this car.) Im more than displeased. They look cheaper and cheaper every year.

On October 10, 2017 I had my vehicle in for service with what seemed to be a miss-firing engine. My Service Advisor was Eric **. Mr. ** told me that sediment had accumulated in the bottom of the fuel tank and that they had cleaned it out. After this I began having trouble filling the tank with gas because the pump handle kept disengaging. The car was also running poorly and finally about two weeks later I could not accelerate above 25 miles per hour. At this point I took the car to another car repair shop close to my place of employment (A & M Auto Shop in Jersey City). The owner called and asked me to come down to the shop to see what he had discovered. He had begun to flush out the fuel line and found part of a rag lodged in the pipe. He dropped the fuel tank in order to remove the rest of the fabric and then also found the fingers of a plastic glove sitting inside the small enclosure to the fuel pump. Inside of the gas tank was a wipe rag which had shed particles throughout the inside of the tank. After A & M removed the rag and glove, the car ran well for a while but the mechanic told me that he couldnt tell how much damage had been done to the fuel pump as a result of all the particles (from the rag) that had been sucked into the pump. We do not use this car extensively but planned to take it on a trip to Williamsburg, Virginia in April, 2018. While driving through Washington DC, we noticed a burning smell and the car would not accelerate above 20 miles per hour. We pulled into a Firestone Auto Care Center in Springfield, VA on Saturday afternoon around 4:40 pm. Since the store was closed on Sunday, they could not service the car until Monday morning and we had to pay for two nights in a hotel. On Monday, the Firestone mechanic suggested replacing the catalytic converter. He did so but the problem remained the same. Firestone did not charge for the service since the problem was not fixed. They suggested that we take the car to a nearby Honda dealer. We had the car towed to the Honda dealer who could not service the car until the next day. At this point we had to pay for another nights stay in a hotel. The next day, the dealer informed us that the fuel pump had failed and must be replaced. On our way home from Virginia, the car again began running rough. I have not driven the car since then. I believe that these problems can all be traced to the particles from the rag which corrupted the fuel system. At this point, the car still does not run properly. Since the rag and glove originated in your shop, I am asking that you restore my car to good working order at no additional charge and reimburse me for my expenses thus far -- $2158 (A&M - $475, three nights in the Wingate Hotel - $719, and Virginia Honda - $964). I have the rag and glove that was found in the fuel pump tank as well as video of these items being removed by the A & M mechanic who is willing to attest to what he found. Please contact me on ** so we can resolve this matter. I look forward to hearing from you.

Do you think you’re getting a good deal when you buy a Honda. It turns out that the way they make their money off he was by nickel and dime and you throughout the ownership experience. The dealers will make money off you with the ridiculous service intervals from the car. The financial services part of Honda will make money off of you from hitting you with all sorts of fees. The cost of ownership of a Honda is much higher than people realize, because the company‘s business model is to sell good cars are reasonable prices, and then screw you for the remainder of your ownership experience. This was my first Honda, and it will be my last. I have since moved on and bought an Audi, and while the upfront cost is higher, the ownership experience is night and day different. I don’t feel like I’m getting screwed over every single interaction I have with the dealer or the company.

I recently took my 2012 Fit into the Honda dealership as the air conditioning wasnt working and it was making a hissing noise. It turns out that there is corrosion between the compressor and the hose that connects to it. It will cost me over $1,000 to repair. How does a 4 year old car that is kept in a garage at home and in covered parking in the day get corrosion under the hood? One of the reasons I bought a new car at the time of purchase was so I would not have costly repairs anytime soon. Now I am looking at a $1,000 repair for something that in my opinion shouldnt happen in a car of this age.

Ive enjoyed my 2003 Honda Odyssey as a family car and also to haul garden materials. The seats are comfy and the overall driving experience is good. My main complaint is twofold. First, it gets only about 16 miles to the gallon around town/18 on the freeway. This is pretty poor by any standards. And second, the clear coat on the dark green paint job has failed; this began within 8 years of purchase. Large portions of the horizontal surfaces have peeled off, leaving a white residue, while the vertical surfaces still look very nice. I see other Odysseys around town of the same vintage and they all have the same problem. And a quick look on the web shows that this is a massive problem. I am looking forward to buying a new car soon but will not be buying a Honda due to the paint problem. Its a shame really as the car has performed well.

I purchased a 2019 NEW Honda HRV Touring in January 2019. I returned it the same day because the backup camera screen and voice commands were not working properly. The main touchscreen unit was replaced. Since January, the screen has been replaced again (total of 3 units), the microphone, and the Hands Free Link module have all been replaced within 10 months. After 30 days total at the dealership for repairs and four attempts I opened a claim with Honda for the Buy Back Program. Now after an additional two trips to the dealership to diagnose my vehicles problem including a diagnosis by the Field Service engineer, my claim has been denied. My vehicle still has the exact same problems that it had on the day I bought it.I was told by Honda that there was a well known software problem with my car. Honda was aware and working on a fix. My claim rep could not give me a estimated date for the fix (told me to check every month at the dealership to see if the fix was available) and she could not guarantee the fix would fix my car. She could not give me a reason why the dealership didnt know about the known problem and her answer for why parts were being replaced was that it was simply done as a courtesy to me. Yet, as a courtesy Honda would not buy back my car. The claim rep would not give me a written denial. She stated, It is Hondas policy to not provide any information in writing about your claim, only to give you the claim number. On the SAME day I was being told all of the information from the Honda claim rep the FSE told the dealership that the problem was a frayed USB cord he saw laying in my car. Not plugged in, not in use, just laying in the car. His suggestion was to not use the cord and see how things go. I have never had an issue with Apple Carplay not working. What I have repeated had problems with is not even an option when the cord is in use. The dealership duplicated the problem without any cords being plugged in. Now I have a 10 month old car that has options I am paying for, but do not work. The options may never work. I guarantee this. I will NEVER buy another Honda vehicle. I will never recommend Honda vehicles. I hope this review helps someone decide NOT to purchase a Honda.

Honda had a recall on their power steering hose because these leaked. Mine actually developed a leak so bad that the fluid leaked onto the exhaust and created so much smoke that my wife thought the car was on fire (she was driving it alone). She did make it home and I let it cool down and checked the situation. All of the fluid had leaked out and after refilling it, the power steering pump made a terrible noise. We got Honda to replace the hose under the recall but they refused to replace the pump because they said that after the 36,000-mile warranty... too bad basically. They seemed to agree that the faulty hose caused the fluid to all leak out which in turn ruined the pump but refused to cover it. We were thinking of buying a new Accord until this. If they admit to making a crappy part, they should cover everything that is damaged by that part.

3 years ago I bought a used Honda Civic from Honda of Seattle. I am the 2nd owner of the car, it had a clean Carfax, and low miles, 36100 when I bought it. So, for a car like this, I paid a high price, about $12000 after finishing paying my car loan. I recently noticed a coolant leak under my car and a couple of days later I brought it in to Honda of Bellevue for an inspection. A day later they told me that my engine block is cracked and forgot to mention that this is in fact a manufacturer defect, that HONDA admitted and for several times increased the warranty up to 10 years. They insulted me, offering me a $300 cash for the car, or to repair it for about $10000 just for labor - engine not included!I contacted Honda corporation and both dealerships here in Seattle area, they are all trying to wash their hands and not admitting to the fact that this is a MANUFACTURING DEFECT! They said, that they dont have maintenance history since I bought it. I bought this car in good faith, from a reputable dealership, thinking that it will serve me for many years if I treat it well, change oil and filters in time, which I DID! But I dont think its my fault they tried to cut corners to make the car cheaper and then realized that they messed up.All 2006 to 2009 Civics are in the position to have this issues at one point. For me it happened at 65k miles for others at 19k. Whatever the mileage, it will ALWAYS BE a MANUFACTURER DEFECT and HONDA should have the decency to warranty every person that bought this car, regardless of mileage and not just for 10 years. So, next time youre thinking to go to a Honda Dealership, to buy a car, thinking they are there for their clients...think twice. They are there to sell you a car, not to support you when you have a problem with it. Im very disappointed in HONDAs dealership dismissing attitude and lack of care in giving their clients the support they need when needed!

I have purchased several Honda cars over the years only to find, in 2019, how far Honda has fallen from its benchmark. I will never buy another Honda automobile. I had the great misfortune of choosing a dealership in Racine, Wisconsin (Racine Honda) to buy a 2019 Honda CRV. When I arrived to take delivery, I noticed that several of the options I had ordered were either not installed or not installed properly. When I pointed this out to the salesman and expressed my displeasure (sincerely but in a business-like manner), the salesman simply walked away from me and did not return. Neither did anyone else and, after ten minutes, I left the dealership. On my way home from this unbelievable experience, I called the dealership manager and expressed my displeasure with the salesman. Incredibly, the manager hung the phone up on me. The message was obvious: Mr. Customer, we got your money, now get out of here. With the dealership showing no regard for my problem, I called Honda corporate. Amazingly, Honda corporate would take no action to address my concerns. In short, Honda corporate told me that they created a file in regard to my problem, but that no action would be taken to resolve my concerns. When you make your important decision on how to spend your hard-earned money, I suggest you remember this experience. Honda will be only too happy to take your money, but as my experience relates, do not expect this company to come to your aid should you have an experience of the kind described here. Upon arrival that evening, I parked my car in the driveway and left it sit as usual overnight. Next morning, I unlocked the door and opened the drivers side to a smell of burnt plastic and smoke. Immediately, I noticed the dash info screen and GPS area was melted and realized my passenger side floor was burnt. The glove compartment was melted shut and all wiring was exposed. The windshield was completely smoked up and the ceiling too. I was immediately in touch with my local agent at the Herb Chambers Seekonk, Mass location and they were all pretty worried at the moment and requested that I buy a flight back to Mass, which I did with their approval and reimbursement authorization from Honda. My agent requested that I drop the car off at the local Honda dealership in New Brunswick and I returned back to Massachusetts the day after. My local Honda Herb Chambers has informed me that they will not help me and have requested that I return their loaner car which I also had to do.Remember that only 14 months ago I bought a brand new 2012 Honda Crosstour from them full warranty but they still have told me that I am on my own and that I have to deal with American Honda which has been a total nightmare. The car was shipped back on US ground and brought to Maine where the dept manager took a few pictures and looked over the damage but did not go in to the dash or look internally. I did contact this gentleman and asked him what he thought happened and he said that based on what he saw, it was clearly a faulty wire or condensation started fire due to the change in cold weather.I have since then tried to connect with several people at American Honda in Torrance, CA to try and help me and at least identify what really happened here but Honda has refused to help or further investigate or even acknowledge some sort of defect or internal issue with their brand new 2012 Honda Crosstour. This totally boggles my mind how a corporation like Honda could do this.Wouldnt Honda want to know what happened and how to fix this issue moving forward? They have no respect, no sympathy and they try to consider themselves as a reputable company? Honda America needs to do something so that all parties can be notified properly and if any further issues with the Crosstour can be rectified before further damage or even death occurs. If anyone knows what I should do here, please let me know.

Honda is a great car, but it lags behind many other SUVs in the area of safety. My 2019 has some safety features but they are unpredictable and touchy. I am reluctant to use them, for example, the speed control does not pickup the car in front of you until very late, scary! It also does not have pedestrians detection in front.

I purchased a Certified Pre-owned 2013 CRV. When I was setting up the electronics, my battery died, after about 15 minutes of not running. Honda told me it was natural because there are so many electronic devices it cant keep a charge. So I took it in, they tested the battery, and it read good. I took the car to a battery shop, they tested it and it showed it had 6% of its life left. The tech said Honda service is supposed to try and not replace anything at Hondas expense, so they tweak their testing machines. I dont know if that is true or not, but Hondas tester said my battery was good, and this tech said it had 6% life remaining. The testing machines were the same brand. So I took my Honda to be outfitted for towing behind my RV. I followed the book directions, which says if you are towing more than 8 hours, pull fuse 17. I was towing 20 minutes, just to get home, so I didnt pull fuse 17. Lo and behold, my battery was dead when I got home. I thought Certified Pre-Owned meant that all parts of the car would last per their warranty, not a battery that would die the same day you drive it off the lot. So I am headed back to Honda. If they replace my battery, Ill write a nice report. If they dont and I have to go to an aftermarket battery, at my own expense, Ill get my moneys worth writing bad things about Honda.

I love this bike for being excellent in terms of providing balance while you aim at long rides. In fact I ride bikes almost regularly. Thus, this bike ensures you enjoy a joyous and fun filled ride every time. Another best feature of this bike is irrespective of the fact what your height is you will get an extremely comfortable ride out of this. Another notable aspect is the 4.4 gallon tank that is quite slim and falls between your legs. In fact whenever you think of a fun and kinda care free ride, this will be one of the most ideal options that you can avail of.

I have a 2010 Honda Accord EX-L 4 Cyl (45,000 miles and bought new) and it burns oil between changes. I have spoken to mechanics, friends and family and everyone is in agreement that cars do not burn oil unless they are old or have a mechanical issue. The first time I brought it to my dealers attention, the service rep. agreed that was normal. This was in Aug. of this year. They set me up on an oil consumption test. Also, I should mention that when it begins to burn the oil, my oil lamp light indicator flickers and my engine makes a tapping noise when I accelerate every so often. I went back in 2,000 miles later for a check and was told that the oil was fine and that the software update they preformed in August should take care of my issue. (Ive seen no advertised recalls on this yet they have the software update out there) At 6,000 miles, the lamp light came on again and my engine began making the tapping noise. I was ready for my normal change anyhow. Took it in to my dealer, explained I was still having the same issue. They found it to be 3/4 a quart low and their mechanic said this was normal for 6,000 miles of driving. My concern though is that my power train warranty will be up in another year or so and I am worried my engine has already suffered damage since it makes that tapping noise. Service rep said at the latest oil change that he has seen 5-10 of these cases come through and that the software update should remedy it. I am going to formally write Honda so they will at least have my concern on file. Service rep said Id be highly considered if I needed my engine replaced after my warranty is up since I have been documenting everything. But overall, I am disgusted that I pay what I pay a month for a brand that is supposed to be excellent yet I am having issues. If this continues and nothing is done, I can promise I wont be buying another Honda and Ill make sure all around me know my experiences.

Ive been on Hondas since the late 60s, dirt, trail & blacktop versions. Ive had other brands (primarily cruisers), but have been disappointed and have returned home to Honda. After playing in the dirt during my youth I graduated finally to the Wings. Got my first Wing in 1984 right out of the crate. Put over 250K on her and traded her in on a shiny new SEI in 1986. Kept the SEI in pristine condition until a moving company broke her during a military move & purchased a 95 anniversary edition, which I still have today. Ive had hog riders tell me she isnt a real bike and Ive told them that they are correct - shes a Cadillac convertible on 2 wheels. Unlike an ultra glide I can be on her with my wife, all day long and at the end of a long day of 400+ miles I can still walk. Three cruisers, all with over 200K miles doing nothing more than typical scheduled maintenance or replacing small parts e.g., tires, brake pads etc. Ive known several people that have well over a half-million miles on Wings and are still going strong - figure out how many V-twins youd go through in that many miles. Ive been thinking of trading in the 95 for another new bike, but really do Not like the most recent version of the Wing. Ive been on the BMW cruiser and Ive got to admit, it really has me thinking of changing. Thirty-five years of loyalty with Wings is hard to shake, but they (Honda) seem intent on taking one of their best lines (Goldwing) and making it into another sports bike. Buy a good used one if you can find one, youll be very happy you did.

I received a recall notice for my 2015, which I leased at Millennium Honda in Hempstead NY. I scheduled my appointment to have to recall service done, 2 weeks in advance. On the day of my appointment (12/31/15) I took the day off from work a drove to the dealership. The service agent wrote up my job, took my car and asked me to wait in the waiting room as this service can take up to 90 minutes. After 100 minutes of waiting, I was summoned by my service agent who informed me that no work had been done on my car, as they did not have the parts to do the job.Its been 2 weeks since that first failed attempt at Millennium Honda, so I decided to schedule with another dealership. This time it was Advantage Honda in Manhasset NY. I was reassured by Stephanie who made my appointment for 1/16/16, that parts were available and that I would be afforded a free rental car due to the length of time this job would take. The day before the scheduled appointment, I double checked with Stephanie, that parts were available as well as the rental car, as I was driving a longer distance from my home. I was reassured by Stephanie that all was in place for my job today. When I arrived at Advantage Honda today, not only was I informed that they did not have the parts to do the recall service, but I was also not entitled to the free rental car. This is now 2 different dealerships with the same outcome. Ive got a brand new leased car in need of a potentially dangerous airbag related recall repair needed, and cannot find a Honda dealership that can perform the service. Shame on Honda!!

I have a 2004 Honda Accord that I bought brand-new. I have always had all routine maintenance completed at a Honda dealership. I had the timing belt replaced ($1,000) within the 7-year time period, hoping to avoid any serious damage if it ever broke. Right after that, I had to replace the power steering pump ($500), because it went bad at 70,000 miles. Now at 83,000 miles, my transmission has gone out; and I am having to spend $4,000 to have that replaced. I have always taken very good care of this car. I bought it, because of Hondas reputation and hoped it would last me a long time before any major repairs were needed. I have read about numerous complaints and recalls for the transmission, so this leads me to believe Honda isnt what I once thought it was. I will not buy another one, even though I love my car. Its not worth what I have had to spend.

Honda allowed car rentals for the driver side airbag recall due to exploding metal fragments injuring and killing individuals. It states in the recall that it can do that to the driver and others in the cab. Honda will not allow car rentals for the passenger side airbags and tell you just to not seat in the passenger seat. It has been asked of Honda if there was a chance that it might deploy if hit in front of car. No answer. I then ask American Honda Customer Service to send me something in writing that it will not deploy and I am not gambling with hurting myself or others in the back seat. They will not.I called Russell Honda in North Little Rock, AR and I am told that they could not sign anything either because he was not sure or that it could be possible that the sensor could be signaled. Then you start the customer service case manager and they put you to the fast track and never hear from them again and no answers. So I am to gamble and drive my vehicle until that part comes in and cross my fingers. I am not a good gambler. So Honda I believe needs to stand up and be responsible and allow for loaner cars until they fix this problem.

The car is fantastic, but has a lot of nickel and dime expenses. It gets incredibly costly, but is a good family vehicle overall. It does what we need it to do. I like that it has a lot of room and three row seating. When you have a lot of kids that have a lot of stuff, you need a lot of room for car seats and leg room. But I dislike that it gets so expensive to keep it maintained. A low maintenance car would be much easier on our growing family. We could spend more on family activities if we were spending less on the car.

I bought this car because I wanted Quality, reliability and pride of ownership. Honda has lost the word Quality, Reliability and pride of ownership. They are living in the past! Cheap Brake pads (rotors being turned at 18,000 miles, 4 brake jobs before 60,000 miles). Excess consumption of oil in engine. Spark plugs needed to be replaced every 5,000 miles. Short Block was replaced, Then the Heads were replaced, then all the parts in the short block were replaced. Comes to find out I had a cracked head seal. When they removed the heads they dented the fender walls on the two front fenders which had to be repaired. One morning I went to work and the transmission would not get out of second and then it would not get out of park in the middle of an intersection.I loved this car and took a long time and money to make sure I got what I want. I finally got rid of the car because no one in my family trusted it and did not want to drive it. The GM of the dealership called me one day and said that they had over $12,500 worth of repairs in the car. He asked me if I wanted to trade it in. I was at that dealership twice a week getting rentals so they could try and get this fixed. HONDA stood silent.Really- would you buy another Honda, I did trade it in and bought a Camry. I drive 75 miles a day to work on the Highway and Honda could not handle that. Do not always believe what you read. MY son owns a 1997 Camry with 230,000 and runs better than the 2008 Honda Accord. Jason of Brooklyn, NY your Crosstour is not the only one with water leaking under the trunk flooding out the NAV control unit. The first time my 2012 flooded the car was at the dealer for a month. Honda also has a policy to rent you a loaner after so many hours it is in the shop. My NAV unit was emitting fumes inside the car with a horrible odour like the perfume used in portable outhouses. The 3rd time it happened I ended up spending the night in ER because my oxygen level was depleted. An owner from Massachusetts drove his 2012 to New Brunswick, a 9-hour drive. When he went out the next day the NAV Unit was melted, glove box and passenger floor carpeting were burnt. Honda refused to remedy the situation for him. Sudden Deceleration is also another serious issue with the V-6. TSB 13-031 is to fix it reactively. Problem is you could be a piece of charcoal from a rear-end collision because your brake lights do not come on to warn traffic behind you when your car slows down to 15 km per hour.My shop manager blamed us that we were misapplying the brake pedal. This is outright negligence and should be a recall issue. Then we have the VCM, Valve Cylinder Management system fouling the spark plugs when it goes from 6 - 4 - 3 cylinders to save fuel. It must also carbon the piston rings because the motors start burning oil. Mine had motor oil leaking unto the front bank exhaust manifold and my favoured Honda Shop Manager denied it was leaking. The Acura Dealer confirmed it was. At 17 thousand km there was a puddle of oil on the driveway when the Bailiff took the car. Honda refused to remedy the situation after 5 letters so I stopped payments. I asked for a low mileage Ridgeline truck because they do not have VCM on the V-6 and a lesser model without the NAV unit. In Ontario we have OMVIC whom I will file a complaint with.

I called Honda because I bought a new 2016 HR-V EX AWD which has the keyless system. The owners guide states I can unlock all doors with the trunk release. It does not and I learned that the owners manual states something different. I also complained to the phone contact because the only door that opens all doors is the passenger door, unlike past vehicles I have had where pushing the button twice opens all doors. I was told this was a security feature of the vehicle. However, it would be just as secure if it required two pushes for all doors and only the current handle grab for the drivers door. When I asked how to get both issues repaired I was told the drivers door was engineered that way and could not be fixed because it was not broken. They will be calling back about the trunk to clarify which is correct, the owners guide or owners manual.I was pleased the company is willing to respond quickly but am entirely dissatisfied with their denial that the doors could be altered given that this version of the car is quite a bit more money than the version with remote entry instead of keyless entry. As the driver, I either have to fish the key fob out of my purse or make my kids wait until I am inside the car to let them in. Im having to train them to stop yanking on the door handles until I am inside. Worse is that I cannot open the back doors myself without the same maneuvering, difficult if I am hauling items I have stored in the back seat.

Wife purchased a 2019 Ridgeline. At 89 miles vehicle would not start and was towed to Honda. Since then the vehicle has 1200 miles and has broken down 4 times. 3 times it was towed for not starting and the only reason it wasnt towed a fourth time was that it literally broke down at the dealership after they had it for two days diagnosing why it would not start. Literally did not drive 100 feet and the transmission stopped working. Talked with customer service a few times so far. INFURIATING!! On my first call I was informed rather quickly I would NOT be getting my money back or a new truck. When asked what they were going to do for me... wait for it... they said They would call them and tell them to fix it right!!! AWESOME!!! In subsequent conversations all customer service regurgitates is warranty and repair talking points. At NO time will they discuss the consistent breakdowns as a problem nor will they let me speak to anyone above them. They disconnected me yesterday as I refuse to sit and listen to someone rattle off the business talking points. I would think any reasonable person would expect their new vehicle to not break down 4 times in the first 1200 miles. Seems Honda doesnt mind how many times it happens. I have called several dealers and gotten estimates ranging from $2,700 to $5,700 (for parts only). When I purchased this car, I was told the battery would cost $2,000 or less. Now Im stuck with a car that will not pass a state safety inspection without paying several thousand dollars for a replacement battery. I took it to Donelson Cycles in St. Ann, MO to be repaired since it was still under warranty. I was told by the service manager that their Honda representative denied any warranty assistance. I then called Honda Customer Support and was told they would investigate further and get back with me within a couple days.On 7/27/2011, I received a call from Honda Customer Support and was told Honda Warranty assistance was denied because I used an aftermarket oil filter.Being a loyal Honda consumer for many years, I was very disappointed and surprised at their decision to deny any repair assistance. I consulted with an attorney and he suggested I try and resolve this issue prior to retaining his service to move forward with legal action.I would be satisfied if Honda honored their warranty or at least offered reasonable assistance.

Transmission of 2002 Accord fails April 2011 (at 23,000 miles). Cost is $1867 to fix plus towing. Another part of the transmission (TCC Solenoid) fails January 2012 (at 27,252 miles), costing $864 to replace. Responding for the second time to the summer 2011 Honda recall for an airbag repair—response number 1 in September 2011 and response number 2 in December 2011—I was asked to come on a specific day in January 2012 to have it repaired. I went but Superior Honda of N.O. did not have the part. When they got the part and fixed it they told me that the OPDS sensor needed repair and I had no airbag coverage at all. I learned later that this problem was under warranty until one day before the repair was made. This was only $300, not the $3,000 transmission fiasco (including a guess at towing cost). I think Superior should extend the warranty one day since if they responded properly to the September request or had the part for the recall work, the OPDS sensor would have been under extended warranty (Spring 2006 letter from Honda).

VSA warning light came on in my 2009 Honda Accord. Dealership said perfectly fine to drive, just a warning light. Next day I had to have my car towed to the dealer. They are telling me 4 timing teeth stripped off $980 and 4 bent valves which they can give me NO cost for except if they cant fix/replace the valves I am looking at $4000 for a new head. Mind you I have owned and perfectly maintained this car at the same dealer since brand new and the timing belt has 84000 miles now and its not recommended to change until 105000 miles. The dealer doesnt care and I started a case with American Honda and they care EVEN LESS... HONDA IS SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

I am so disgusted with Honda. I filed a complaint with Cal OSHA and the Better Business Bureau. 2008 CRV Locks are messed up. They recalled just the drivers side door lock (only 1 that worked). 1 stays unlocked 27/7 and 1 stays locked passenger side. They refuse to help me in any way shape or form. I am disabled, live off 900 a month and was quoted 450.00 per door for a 50.00 part. I am raising an 8 year old and have a special needs granddaughter THESE FLIPPIN DOORS ARE UNSAFE. I called an attorney friend and is going to send them a letter seeking legal action. NOT HELPFUL. I WILL NOT OWN ANOTHER HONDA. Which I have owned since I was 16. NO MORE SCAMMERS.

The first problem of my Honda Civic is the brakes. They are anti-locking brakes but they should be called anti-stopping brakes. When you try to brake going over even the smallest bump, ice on the road, or pot hole, you go another 20 to 60 feet no matter how slow you are going. I mentioned this to the local dealer in New Rochelle (NY) and they said it was the way the cars and brakes are made. The biggest problem is actually the CV joints. After about 5,000 miles, there is a sound when you turn the wheel. No matter how small a turn, it will sound like an old wooden ship; making crickety, crakety sounds. Once again, the dealer said this was not a problem. But now my auto-repair guy says the rubber around the CV joints is perfect; no wear-and-tear. Nothing torn. Nothing worn out. But the CV joint is worn out behind the rubber surrounding it making this a classic case of defective CV joints in a car.I have tried to contact Honda about 3-4 times now and am now about to send a certified letter to the top people at Honda in America and Japan. If this is not resolved, this will be Hondas turn just like when Toyota had their brake problems with the Prius. And why do I say this? Because I have heard many, many people who have had the same problem with their Honda cars having a CV joint problem and I will write and write, make a video to put on YouTube, and build a website if I have to so that Honda either does something or maybe we just all wake up and never buy anything from Japan again.

Please make sure you like the customers service from the Corporate Office.
Please make sure you like the customers service from the Corporate Office. Let me give you the real tea on Honda Corporate. This place dont give a hoot nanny about customer service nor your car. I want everyone know that Ive had some great cars and however when I purchased my Acura 2014 RLX used still under Honda warranty at 47,000 and 27,000 miles. Nothing but trouble, and bigger trouble. Ive been working with the NCDS after I called the Honda Corp 3 times and couldnt get anywhere. I mean I was told I was assign a case manager by the name of Bryan and this guy call me 1 time when I called him 10 times. I also ask to speak with a manager and never got a call from, so I ask who was the district manager and I was told that was Michael and he would call me on a Monday from my call to them on Thursday and I never received his call. What a joke and at this point I give Honda customers service a Big F and the rating of the car a D-... I think they just show up to get a check and not to help people. So NCDS is helping me thank GOD only to now get a letter from Honda Corp stating that the noise is a normal sound from the car and after a Massive email went out that states they are aware that the RLX has a compressor issue that brings loud noises and its not normal. And today I received a letter from Leticia saying thats its a normal sound. What a great lie. And put the blame on Automax of ATLANTA where I purchased the car. Whatever its still under warranty. Please do your research and leave Honda alone. Some of the Honda cars may look great and some may get you to point A to point B however it a poor choice of a car... Real talk... When I purchase my car I had to go out of NC to find the RLX with the Advance package and the Kell Sound system and the nearest one what I was looking for was in Georgia outside of Atlanta. And it was called Automax of Atlanta...I purchased the car and had it delivered to my home in Charlotte and was so happy. Thats until 1 week after having the car it wouldnt start for several days. I TOOK IT TO THE ONLY ACURA DEALERSHIP WE HAVE AND THATS HENDRICK ACURA. They replace the battery under warranty and got it back and had it for 3 days and still wouldnt start some days. Took it back, they put a new starter in it under warranty and explained to them I still had some concerns and it was My AC AND HEAT noise along with loud noises from the rear end of the car. I took my car into service at least 6 times in 2 months. And the 1st time they didnt hear anything and the 3rd time they heard the noise in the ac compressor and replace the ac coolant line and told me that coolant was leaking and flowing out... Still dont hear the rear end car noise though.Got the car back and the noise was still there but not as loud. Took the car back and finally was told they can not fix it and Honda is working on it. I even have it on paper saying theres no fix and I received this letter. I hope that NCDS makes them repurchase all RLX and all Honda with compressor issue or whoever can authorize it. This just shows you arent nothing to these Honda makers.

I bought a 2018 Honda Accord Touring trim (nearly $40K car). Have had 7 different failures so far (defective paint, electronics failures, parts falling off car door seals, wheel well lining, etc). Hondas answer is to keep taking the vehicle in for service. Its only 3 months old with 6500 miles, and its constantly breaking. In spite of the obvious fact that I have a lemon/dud, Honda will NOT replace the vehicle. My dealers answer outside of keep bringing it in for service was for me to sell my car back to them at a loss, and theyd work me a deal on a new car.GARBAGE quality from Honda. Even worse they dont want to stand behind their product. Ive been working with Leo at Hondas customer care, and he said theres nobody I can escalate to, but hed discuss this internally with the distributor (?) who generally does not talk to the customer. At this point I am in the process of yet more repairs, but a new car experience should NEVER be like this.Ive owned Honda cars my whole life, and have had an 83, 87, 2000, 2005 Accord, as well as a 2005 and a 2006 Odyssey. My 2005 Accord was a nightmare, but that was due to a 3rd party, aftermarket hack job from the dealer, so I cannot state that was a Honda issue. Now I have a 2018 Accord, and outside of some miracle response from Honda to make this right, it will be my last Honda EVER!! To be specific, heres a list of my issues so far in my first 3 months/6500 miles on the car: 1. Paint defect on side of car in front of passenger door 2. Paint defect on roof of car3. Failed backup camera/console unit 4. Weather stripping literally falling off passengers back door 5. Wheel well came loose and is resting on the tire while driving (part is in back order) 6. Bottom weather stripping loose, and sticking outside of rear passengers door7. Intermittent charging working/not working on wireless cell phone charging pad (iPhone X)NOTE: When the dealer looked into the paint on the roof, they first wanted me to file a claim with Cameron (additional paint protection/warranty product I bought), and there was a small elbow sized dent in the corner of the roof after they looked at it which I had to speak with the service manager about to get fixed. They did fix it, but didnt initially want to take ownership of it. Seriously, Honda? Ive Never spent so much money to only live to regret the purchase and get such a careless response from the manufacture of such a clear quality issue with YOUR product. If you are thinking of buying a Honda, buyer beware, and know that Honda will do nothing more than keep sending you in for repairs time and time again. I fear Im reaching the point that the lawyers will have to battle this one out.

We have a 2010 Honda Odyssey with less than 60,000 miles on it. For the first few years, we had our servicing on the vehicle done at the local Honda dealer. After a few years spending several hours at each visit, we were told by multiple people in our small town about a local mechanic in town who is honest and fair. We switched to this mechanic to support local businesses and it is much more convenient and way less expensive. At our last check up for the car, the mechanic found a leak in the steering rack. It is quite a pricey item to fix and the mechanic stated that a car with our age/mileage should not be experiencing this issue and suggested we call Honda to see if they would do right by us. We promptly called Honda and were instructed to contact our local Honda dealer, have the car inspected and call them back. Apparently, there is a warranty extension on the steering pump (not the steering rack). When we called the dealer, we were informed that they would charge $134 to inspect the vehicle and if it was the steering pump, we would get our money back. Otherwise, it is $134 out of our pocket. As we attempted to make an appointment, the gentleman we spoke with took no information, didnt give us a time and actually laughed (this was from Joyce Honda in Denville, NJ). We called Honda customer service back and asked to have the $134 waived as we were certain that the problem was with the rack, not the pump, and since we are looking at a costly repair, we arent willing to waste an additional $134. We were told that all dealers are independently owned and the fee cant be waived. We were also told that they cant help us without having one of their independently owned dealers see the car. They also instructed us that after paying the $134, our case would go to a group who would look at our loyalty to Honda; how often we used their dealers to service our cars and how often we have bought a Honda. Our issue is this; clearly there is a faulty part here and yet Honda is not willing to fix the issue easily. We arent willing to front any cost here especially since we arent confident we are loyal customers since we have our servicing done elsewhere. This is our second and we have to say LAST Honda that we will ever own. Our local mechanic will get our business and we are confident he will fix the problem and all will be well, however, we should not have to cover the cost of a faulty part. Very wrong.

I have a 2001 Honda Accord with 65,000 miles. The first transmission was replaced at 27,500 miles, and was under warranty. Now, my second transmission needs to be replaced at 37,500 miles, and is not covered by the warranty. I have contacted the regional representative, who only saw it was a 2001, and refused to assist in any way. I then contacted their customer service department who filed a claim for me, but a day later called, and gave me the same response. There will be no goodwill gesture on the part of Honda. I have since written a letter to the president of North American Honda, but have not received a response back. I have since had the transmission replaced on the 2001 Honda by a transmission company, for approximately $1,600 plus tax. I still feel that as a goodwill gesture, Honda should be more flexible in a situation, where both transmissions did not have very much miles.

I would give ZERO stars but the system wouldnt let me!!!! We WERE a loyal Honda customer until recently. We have had 5 Honda vehicles over the last 20+years and now will no longer buy them again because of a customer service rep. We were having issues with our Minivan (died on the side of the road) and brought it in for a $900 repair. Two weeks later, the same issue happened again. At that time we were told there was a recall issued for Piston rings on cylinders 1-4, which we were unaware of, so we brought it to the dealer. The dealer told us the recall expired 13mths ago so they cant do the work. The svc mgr told us to contact Honda and they may be able to work with us.My husband called and spoke to a rep there who was the worst customer service person we have ever dealt with. She basically told us that Honda sent out 1 warranty letter and because it expired wont do anything for us. My husband explained we never received this letter but she didnt care. He explained we were told Honda would work with us and she said Honda wont work with us, its not their problem anymore. She would not listen to what we had to say, what happened to us due to a defective product in their vehicle or at least try to work with us in any way. She just stated the recall expired. My husband told her that our experience in dealing with her in Customer Service was the worst experience and he would NEVER buy a Honda again. She didnt care and just got off the phone. My husband called back later that afternoon and spoke with a dif rep to complain about our horrible interaction with the previous rep and she apologized and stated she will have the case looked over again for a second review. The next day my husband was called by the very person he complained about and interrogated about the previous makes and models of Hondas we have had in the past. He said he was told he wouldnt have to talk to her again and there was another case manager handling our case and she said no, this is my territory and Im the rep. He then asked for her supervisor 5 times and was told NO, you cant speak to them. He told her we spoke to a dif rep and she said someone will review our case with a different set of eyes and she said we shouldnt have been told that because Honda doesnt do that. She gathered the rest of the info that she needed and left it at that. She said we MAY hear from someone up to 48hrs but she doubts it. Once again, we were not looking to get anything for free. Honda put a defective product out there and we drove it around without knowing of the lingering hazard. They washed their hands of the problem because they did their due diligence and sent out 1 letter. We never saw it and I know thats not their problem, it is ours. We did get stranded because of that issue, we spent $900 because of their issue. We have to spend $3500 because of their issue. The car is not even worth that. So we are out a vehicle. My husband is a retired Police Officer who was injured on the job which ultimately ended his career-he was hit by a drunk driver going 91 miles per hour. We have a limited income and now are out a vehicle because we didnt see a letter. When we told the original rep all this information, she could care less and all she stated was that the recall expired. We told her we would never buy Honda again-she couldnt have cared less. So...sorry Honda. You are losing a loyal customer because of your customer svc rep and their lack of compassion and understanding. You are losing a loyal customer because of your lack of standing by your product and having a family drive around in a defective vehicle that put us at harms way.

The car cut off while I was in the store for five minutes. I was told that if you leave keys in the ignition while off, it drains the battery. No car in my life has that ever happened after leaving the radio in the car on and drained the battery. I had a problem within 3 months of buying a 2008 Honda. The car cut off and wouldnt start, and it did it again last night. I took it in before and the first time I took it in, the battery was fine. They checked the battery today and they said it was no good but it happened a total of 4 times and there was a recall on the car. It happened to other people and which shouldnt have happened. It cut off last night and no key was in the ignition and the battery died. I spoke to Ron, store manager, and the service manager and they refuse to change the battery. All they did was to charge up the battery because they wanted me to purchase a battery for $159 which is a problem. Because there was a problem a few months after I bought the car and I brought in for the same thing now, in less than a year. Honda told me that if you leave the key in the car, the car still is drawing power even though the key is off. I kid you not. My mom was in the car for five min. and the battery died. Honda of Roanoke Rapids doesnt care about customer service and doing what is right to satisfy the customer. The battery was going bad before I bought it in March. I will never buy a car again from them. And I have the powertrain warranty and American Honda forced me to get it and wont cover squat. I was forced to take it by American Honda or else they would not approve my loan. This was Honda of Roanoke Rapids. How many did they force to take warranty out so they can get more money from them?

There has been a recall on the Honda Insight. I had my car repaired before the recall happened. They have offered to reimburse after the recall happened. I sent in all the forms needed to make this happen. I have spoken to Luis at customer service many times. They are now asking for the receipts of the actual parts bought by the garage that fixed my car. That garage is asking for a $75 fee to do this. Honda does not want to pay it. I do not want to spend any more money on this. The repairs are a good $500 less than what Honda quoted to fix it. I feel they are doing this to drag it out. In hopes that I will not pursue the refund. I am disappointed that I have been given the runaround. This is a defect on the car which I had fixed for less than what they would have paid. I bought my 02 Accord brand new, and now have 174K on the clock. Ive replaced the transmission 3 times, and finally found a shop here in San Francisco that built it correctly. They told me that Honda transmissions are unlike any other standard transmission design and they fail often. Theres too much pressure kept in the torque converter, and not enough return fluid for the unit to function correctly. There are several aftermarket fixes, of course, that you have to pay for. When I picked my car up at the shop, there were 3 Accords, 3 Odysseys and 2 MDXs. I called American Honda to ask for some sort of help seeing as this is my 3rd time around the pony show - nothing. Shame on Honda for being so stupid in their design. Im not going back for more.

I leased a 21 passport with my husband last month from Honda. The sales team was great, price was good and team was friendly -unfortunately this car has some issues! I don’t blame the dealer. I blame the maker (Honda). Since we bought the car I have been driving it back and forth to work and with my son. After a car wash one day I had noticed rust behind the wheels. I told my husband about it he said it wasn’t like this when we bought it. About week later I started to notice a weird feeling when driving so I gave my husband the car to drive. After him driving it he feels it has some transmission issues. Between that and the rust he was super pissed. He contacted Honda hq and brought it for service. The manager was super helpful and nice my husband said but unfortunately after the visit the rep that came from hq told us the car is normal! I’m sorry rusty/not proper functioning transmission is not normal. I am very unhappy that I do not feel safe to drive this car and now every month I have to pay for something I can’t even get behind the wheel. My husbands friend has the 20 passport. No issues. No rust. No transmission problems. Why is this the issue with the 2021? Issues after a little over a month of ownership not a good look. Awful job Honda!!

When I bought my Honda CRV I leased for the first time and after 3 months I paid the car off early. I sent in what I needed for the title and I have called 5 times regarding where it is. I was told it was mailed out a few weeks ago and if I dont receive it I will have to pay $60.00 to get another shipped out. First of all I didnt know about all the sale tax I had to pay, plus I just paid my car off after three months! I think I had 12 Hondas since 1999. I feel I shouldnt have to deal with all the stress to get a title plus I am a good customer. I am so upset and I dont have the time to deal with all this. Once again I do what Im suppose to do and now Im stuck!

My family and I have owned several Hondas. I have only had minor issues with my Honda. I have never had to put a lot of money in it to fix it. These cars just seem to last a lot of years and miles. Ive had other vehicles that didnt last as long as my Hondas. In all they are very good vehicles.

I own a 2009 Honda Civic. I have had multiple issues with the drivers side lock and the trunk lock. I have had it replaced once under warranty. But the drivers side lock broke again after the warranty was expired. I have had to replace my brake pads before even reaching 30,000 miles. And recently received a letter in the mail saying I can make a claim for a class action suit due faulty brake pads that were applied on the Honda Civics from 2006 to 2009. The local Honda dealership, Spreen Honda, was offering free oil changes to people for a good review on Yelp, desperate times for Honda. Such cheap accessories and parts applied by such a major corporation, thanks for exploiting the middle class.

Having owned seven Camrys, I chose the HR-V for its size and parking ability. With one glaring exception, the HR-V is everything and more than I expected. It rides well, is comfortable (I added good sheep-skin seat covers) and gets good mileage. Everything is accessible and well thought-out EXCEPT the horns. The horns are weak and sound like a childs toy with its tinny Beep, Beep. To replace them you must remove the front bumper/grill and bolt on new ones. Not cheap.

I got Honda Jazz on April last year. I had trouble within two months, no rear brakes. The dealership kept lying and saying nothing was wrong. Four times I went back with no help. Every time I put the handbrake on incline, nothing happens. I told them about this. I took the car to another garage for MOT, it failed on rear brakes. I went to the dealer and showed them the report. They refused to do anything. I paid for repairs myself, returned to the dealer with the bill and asked to see the owner. The staff member refused to get him and was rather intimidating and aggressive. The repairs showed the rear calipers were not working, only one pad was contacting with the disc, so I was driving a dangerous car. I would like something done before I take matters further. I think it is disgusting the way I have been treated. Trading standards said I would have had case if I had gone to them sooner.

Love the Honda engine and ergonomics of the rider position. Replacement parts are very costly, but the quality of the build is outstanding. Overall a very reliable bike. Honda offers many models, but they will only sell them if the volume is sufficient. For example, the Honda ST 1300 is no longer sold in the United States but it is in Europe.

Beyond dissatisfied with horrible paint quality and worse customer service
Beyond dissatisfied with horrible paint quality and worse customer service from Honda USA. I am awaiting a reply from consumer affairs with regards to my wifes 2014 Honda Accord, purchased new from Jim Coleman Honda in Clarksville, Maryland. My wife purchased the vehicle, along with an extended paint protection warranty (to protect the paint finish against premature wear, rust, staining, etc.), which covers the vehicle for 7 years from the date of purchase. In the past 6 months, we have taken note that the factory paint finish has begun to shrink and peel back from the rear window glass along the surrounding body panels. We notified the dealership, and they advised that there is a known factory defect with vehicles finished in Pearl White (my wifes paint color) and dark metallic blue, where this pattern has been observed. There are countless accounts of this paint defect online. Some representative web posts are linked below; There are many more... https://www.carcomplaints.com/Honda/Accord/2014/body_paint/inferior_paint_and_clear_coat.shtml https://www.carcomplaints.com/Honda/Accord/2014/body_paint/paint_peeling.shtml https://www.autobody-review.com/blog/what-is-happening-to-my-honda-paint-problems https://www.driveaccord.net/threads/paint-peeling-away-pics-included.544831/?fbclid=IwAR0rabgCs3mFj6yijicnLY4m2v_v00HGgNbyD2Fu898TA-kGuy_QDaT3qo0https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SE3HLhHYh0wThere is even an entire Facebook group dedicated to raising awareness and seeking remediation to this obvious manufacturers defect: https://www.facebook.com/groups/389497225179056/. The dealer advised that they believed this to be a factory defect, and not a warranty issue and reached out to Honda, USA on our behalf. We were advised that resolution was reached with Honda, USA and they agreed to pay on a 90/10 basis (90% of the repair costs would be paid by Honda; we would be responsible for 10%) and we were asked to bring the vehicle in to a Honda Certified Repair Facility (Chandlers Collision Center in Columbia, MD).We brought the vehicle in to the recommended shop, and while we were able to obtain a repair estimate, the shop adjuster began scraping at the paint (causing further damage) which left an extremely unpleasant feeling about the shop. When we asked to see samples of paint work they had completed, the adjuster showed me 2 vehicles on the lot -- each one worse than the previous in terms of color match, paint texture and body work quality. Further, we were advised that Honda would not stand behind this shops work, despite telling us that this was their shop of preference, deferring any quality issues with the repair to the repair facility policies. We advised Jim Coleman Honda of our desire to have the repair performed at another facility that we had located (also Honda Certified): Subway Auto Body in Gambrills, MD. We had the opportunity to meet with this shop manager/owner who was very understanding of the nature of the repairs needed, the process needed to repair correctly and warrantied workmanship integrity. We asked about having the repair performed at this facility instead, and were advised that Jim Coleman would look into this with Honda and get back to us.Weeks went by without any feedback despite numerous calls to both Honda and Jim Coleman, and finally I escalated the issue with Honda, USA. I received a call-back from Honda advising that we took too long to schedule the repair, and therefore they were no longer accepting responsibility. The Honda representative would not allow me to get a word in edgewise, despite pleading with them that the reason the repair was not scheduled was due to a lack of response in how to proceed on their end. They refused to listen, vulgarities were exchanged, and they refuse to address this matter. Subsequent calls into Honda, and we are seemingly black-listed from speaking with a representative.Bottom line, we have email traffic assuring us that the repair would be covered at a 90/10 split, numerous inquiries on how to proceed that went unanswered, and now we are left with a nearly $2,500 repair bill for a factory defect. The shop owner at Subway has also attempted to reach out to Honda on our behalf and they wont even return a phone call -- mind you this shop pays annual fees to remain an accredited Honda Repair facility, so this says a great deal for Honda, USA in general. Since the time when we first notified Honda of the issue, the damage has spread to the full surround of the rear glass and is continually growing larger. It is despicable that Honda refuses to accept responsibility and worse that their lack of customer service follow through has only delayed remediation.

I bought 2018 Honda Accord about a month ago and it already had fuel injector problem! After I took it to a Honda dealership in Burnsville to fit it it stated to smell like gas in my vehicle after they fixed it. I took it back to them and they said, Keep driving it because we don’t see any leaks. That’s where I went to back to the Brookdale Luther dealership to try and change the car out but they said it past the 5 day grace period. So they connected me with the service people to try and fix the problem but they told me to go back to Burnsville dealership because theyre the ones who started the job and they have to finish it otherwise we going to have to charge just to look at it. I also got a extended warranty with Honda.

I experienced the worst customer skills ever. I thought one of the sales representative was going to hit me. Honestly, how do you have people like that work for you? It doesnt stop here. I want to speak to someone besides writing a review. I asked for clarity about a promo but instead, the cops were almost called. I am disgusted with Honda (2541 E. Tremont Ave.) right now. The worst experience ever!

I am Raj ** and I am working in a private company. I purchased a new Honda bike to sell our house which is in Delhi. I purchased a Honda Shine from Race Honda Patpargani, New Delhi. Date of sale was August 14,2011. But it is not running straight on the road, there is a problem bubbling in my bike. I checked the bike the next day, August 15, 2011.In the showroom, they loose the screw of the handle and told me that my bike was okay. But the problem is the same. When I went back there the next day, August 17, 2011, I asked why is it having the same problem. The showroom manager told me that I should go to their workshop. So I went to the workshop on August 24, 2011 and met the workshop manager, Mr Ashwani **. He told me that the rear rim found the band because of the speed breaker and digs, he said they cannot do anything for me and I have to pay around Rs 3,700 for it. I was shocked when I heard it. Then I decided to complain to the Honda Bike Company. The telephone numbers are 2290911, 2290912, 2290913. I do not feel good about them, compared to other companys customer care. But after all that, one Honda engineer Mr. Umesh came, I was hoping he could help me. But he was so busy with his cellphone and he didnt listen to a single word I said, he just told me that my bike is not under warranty so I need to pay for the repair. The parking charge was Rs50 extra, so I was so unhappy that I asked him why do I have to pay for parking and a rim. Then he told me that I have purchased a Honda bike, and that he will not give me a favor. After all that, I think I took the wrong decision to purchase a Honda Shine. My bike is still in the workshop. What can I do now. Can I fire myself?
