So back in 2017 I had an auto accident where I was found not at fault and I was given a large sum of cash from my insurance to help pay for a new vehicle. During the time of obtaining the funds I decided to try to head back to Toyota and get another Toyota Camry Hybrid as this was my all time favorite vehicle and to this date and time still is.Well needless to say me and my wife head down here and I was approached immediately which I told one rep I was here to buy a new Toyota Camry Hybrid. He attempted to ask me sales pitch questions like what's my number or figure I am looking at with cash down and what kind of payment. I immediately told him to give me time to go over the features in the vehicle, colors available, and pricing.The sales guy agreed and showed me the lot and long story short he once more once near the vehicles asked me again about price, down payment, cash or financing and I cut him off and said, "Look I won't say that right now, because I need to see the vehicles and colors." Once I located the one I wanted I simply asked what is the overall price of the vehicle I found. He then tried to gain more information on what I wanted and again cash flow.I told my wife we were leaving. I am not going to waste my time with this guy. I simply never dealt with this before as this must have been a new tactic by this particular person, but the last sales guy I dealt with was not even close to being this ignorant or pushy. I went to another dealer which was not the same model I wanted, but nonetheless I did not deal with any of the aggravation I dealt with here.The reason I kept this information from the sales guy was simple. They use that information against customers. Colors, features, cash down, and financing is easy to push a higher valued vehicle with more features than I wanted or needed. I know this, because my Uncle was a Salesman and taught me what they do. All I simply wanted to do was point out the vehicle I wanted to explain all the details afterwards.

Toyota Safety Sense saved my life. I was driving my 2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid, Only 2 months old, on a freeway when I had a seizure. (I know this because I have a dash cam.) I first pulled over to the side of the road just prior to the event. I then had the seizure and when it stopped I was VERY oblivious to my surroundings. I pulled forward on the shoulder and was passing cars in the lanes and finally got onto the roadway. You could hear my 'lane assist' and 'Break assist' alarming several times while driving the 20+ miles down the freeway. When I came to I had ZERO relocation of how I got there. Toyota - Very good on gas mileage, long lasting motor life and really a great investment for work or travel vehicle. Awesome value while driving low fuel expenses. Comfortable and great for long or short rides. You get more than the money's worth, through and through. However, I don't like the thin fiberglass. I'm worried about the safety and with the size. The compact design is also quite scary when on highways and interstates. Comparing to semis, trucks, vans, it is quite overwhelming where there are large vehicles. Just feels like one wrong move by me or another vehicle, would never end well. Should be more in between passengers and other vehicles.

I purchased my car here at the Toyota dealership on Thornton Road in April 2018 and ever since I purchased this particular car the check engine light has been on. I have taken the car to the Volkswagen dealership at the Toyota dealership where I purchased the car here over five times to get serviced and after weeks of them keeping the car nothing has worked or been rectified. The check engine light is still on and I have not been treated fairly as a consumer. I have been sold a lemon and their cars here are not reliable. It scares me to know that I invested money hard earned cash money to this company and they disrespected me by selling me a car that is not reliable.

Went to my local dealer in San Luis Obispo after multiple hazard lights came on. The diagnosis: a failed inverter. The estimated cost: $5,000. The car has 96,000 miles, so it falls well within the warranty mileage. My problem: It is three months past the warranty expiration date. Looking on multiple chat boards, it seems that most inverter problems have to do with the coolant system. A friend who thoroughly knows cars, including Priuses, said it is very rare for inverters to fail altogether. Plus, the mileage isn't high enough. Don't know whether to trust the dealer's diagnosis and plan to take it to a repair shop not affiliated with Toyota. Also, hope to get a reconditioned inverter if that is, in fact, the issue. Don't think I'll be buying any more Priuses, or Toyotas in general.

I recently purchased a new Toyota which the salesman failed on his part to get a correct 10 day payoff on my trade. Now that the deal is done, signed and a payment is being withdrawn from my new account they are harassing me for the balance of my payoff. We don’t carry our payoff of our vehicle in our pocket so I gave an estimate which he should have followed up with a 10 day payoff. Now I am receiving harassing phone calls and texts messages at my job on this. Legacy Toyota is very unprofessional and they don’t think of the buyer. All they want is numbers and don’t care at whose cost. This is going to end up with an attorney. I’m waiting to hear from Toyota on this matter. It was the worse purchase I have ever made and not speaking of the truck.

Brought my Toyota Prius plug in premium in for 6 mo. ToyotaCare. Told it would be ready at noon, it's now after 3 and still not ready. I'm 90 and disabled. Need to go to CVS for RX, Called 3 times. Just told they would call when car is ready. ALWAYS POOR SERVICE FROM HANLEES SERVICE DEPT. Don't even answer their phone at times.
