Fisker manufactures cars that owners have come to trust. Even a trustworthy auto requires occasional maintenance or repair, however. If you’re in need of Fisker auto repair from experienced professionals, your local Auto Helper can help.

Dashboard warning lights
On your dashboard are a set of lights that immediately inform you in case of any engine trouble. If your engine is overheating, low on fuel, experiencing battery problems, a red light will illuminate on the dashboard.  Most modern engines now come with an Engine control unit (ECU) with sensors attached to various engine components.  When there is an issue with the car, you will get an error code, which will light up a warning light.

The vehicle is not starting
If your vehicle either takes a long effort to start, or the vehicle just won't start by any means then the most predictable issue can be a dead battery. You need to be very observant in order to correctly identify and troubleshoot such an issue with your vehicle. If In response of turning your ignition key the vehicle is totally silent than the issue is with the battery or connecting terminals for sure. If there is a cranking sound while ignition than the issue might be with the fuel intake or the spark plug. In any case, you can arrange a tow truck or if possible can jump start your vehicle using a jump starter kit to safely reach a nearby workshop for further investigation of the issue.

Oil pressure problems
Oil plays a vital role in lubricating all the moving parts in the car. When your oil is old, it will form a sludge that makes it hard to operate efficiently. This will cause unnecessary friction amongst the movable parts leading to overheating and wear. Oil pressure problems are something you never want because they can result in expensive repair costs like engine replacements. Also, identify the right type of oil that has offers good viscosity. Nowadays, many motorists prefer using synthetic oils.

Transmission Problems
Outside of your engine, the transmission is the most important component that you'll find under the hood of any vehicle. In fact, in some vehicle drivetrains, replacing the transmission costs even more than replacing an engine. Some of the most common transmission problems are noticeable lapses in gear changes, grinding during gear changes, a burning smell, and gears slipping. One key thing you need to do to take care of your transmission is regularly changing the fluid at the manufacturer's suggested intervals. The fluid helps keep the transmission cool and helps serve as a lubricant between its various components to keep it running smoothly.

The Starter Motor is Failing
The starter motor is the component that turns the engine over when you start the car. If it fails it is either a result of electrical solenoid damage, the motor itself has broken or there are other faults in the electrical system. It is difficult to assess when a starter motor is likely to break and to avoid replacing it unnecessarily it is best to get the car inspected by a professional to determine the cause of the starting issues before doing so.

The Radiator is Leaking
Radiator leaks are almost always caused by corrosion. Corrosion itself can have a lot of causes but once you get one leak you are likely to get more so it makes sense to replace the whole radiator. If you don’t keep the radiator in good condition you can get problems with overheating and, ultimately, could end up with an engine fire.

Car looks great and is not finished. Consider it unfixable due to multiple problems. Manufacturer not interested in taking responsibility or quality control. Multiple recalls and rushing deliveries before all the problems are even identified. Read Fisker buzz or search problems with fisker. Rebooted multiple times in motion the first 24 hours. No one calls you back with any certaintly or help. Company refuses to take them back, so do not take delivery unless you want the buyer beware speech. You will be plagued by constant and chronic failures, unless you like waiting 5 minutes to reboot or waiting weeks for any response. Bottom line is there is no fix. Expect a car that works.

Although other have commented that the rear seats are small. They will comfortably fit an 6'3" tall adult. I love that it has 50 miles to a charge, with 250 miles of gasoline backup, making it a great daily driver. I love how quiet it is in Stealth mode. This is a beautiful, eye catching vehicle. Do not buy if you don't want people coming up to you daily asking what it is and telling you how gorgeous it is! Trunk space is enough for a carry on and laptop+, or groceries, or a golf bag. This is not an suv. It is a luxury sedan.

This is a great car. I have had several days with my new Karma, and I love it. I Have driven 300 miles and used only two gallons of gas! The design catches more eyes than I thought, as people are constantly pulling out their cell phones and taking pictures of it. Charging at night is simple. Plug it in and forget it. Interior is comparable to any of the many European luxury cars I have owned, only more plush. Drives like a big car, it does weigh 5300 lbs, but it handles much better than I thought it would.

Ferrari, Aston Martin looks for half the price, at the same time averaging 112 miles per gallon over the last year. Talk about a sexy poster child for green vehicles. First couple months had some little software bugs with the touchscreen and check engine lights however nothing that impacted driving. Software patches have put that behind us and now just enjoy driving around a technological and artistic masterpiece.
