Bluetooth in A5 Cabriolet 2013 unusable - I have 3,800 miles on this 2013 car and am ready to sell it. I make a lot of calls while driving. People cant hear me over the noise and tell me Im screaming at them. This is with the top up. I have been to Audi twice and been told that nothing can be done. A car over 50k deserves service and functioning equipment. When I bought the car, I was clear to the salesman that voice control was important to me. It is disabled in the Cabriolet. My husband says buy a headset. I want them to fix it.

I would like to bring your attention this issue, hopefully I can gain support to have this issue resolved. Hopefully someone that actually cares about the Audi brand and their promise of excellent after sales services contacts me. My details are on the Audi system. I bought the car brand new from Audi in November 2011. On the 3rd day I had a serious clutch shudder and was informed Audi where I have always taken my car, that it was due to my driving style. I took the car in 40 times to the dealership (as per my tracker records 0) in total to have the clutch issue address, gearbox issue and oil consumption issue, and kept getting told there was no issue. Eventually after almost having numerous accidents due to the inability to put off from robots and standing starts, I went to Audi and offered to pay to have them remove my gearbox and clutch to find the issue at my own expense and only then did they drop the gearbox and clutch, only then did they pick-up. I quote that my clutch was worn. This statement does not make sense as I have been experiencing this since day 3 after receiving my brand new car and I believe the statement made that it was my drive style was a lie. This process took almost 4 years. They informed me that my model does not actually have any sensors to pick up this issue, it is a manual. So I dont know how they could tell me that no issue was found. At 8000 km they change a major gear part in my gearbox and I was not informed of this nor was I allow to request a fix, replacement or repair. Most recently, my cars ecu unit on the steering wheel was showing errors on my dashboard. Audi Burma stated that they could find no evidence of this, even after a I showed them a video of the issue. Nor did they inform me to be careful as this affects my abs, which put my life in danger. On the evening that I collected my car from Audi which they had for a week, I notice a loud knocking noise on my front suspension. I took the car to Audi as no longer trusted that Audi branch they found my steering arms were damaged, required replacement. I was informed by that they were so warm I could have had a serious accident had I continued to drive. So this car was release by the dealership and no any quality check done is beyond me so this is the third time Audi has put my life as risk.I have proof that my car was at the dealership 40 times in four years yet there are only 8 job cards created, no explain has been offered for this nor after at least 30 requests to have the original job cards, nothing has been forth coming. During this period I had informed the dealership of excessive high oil usage starting in early 2014. They ran test (so they told me) but refused to show me the results and said there was no issue. I took my car to a different dealership, they ran the same tests and found that indeed my car was using an excess amount of oil and recommend that my engine be rebuilt as per Audi technical papers. This test was done 4 weeks prior to my maintenance plan running out. Now the dealership refuses to rebuild my car and has delayed the whole process till after my maintenance has expired. When I query this, they say Sorry your car is out of maintenance plan and I must pay for the repair.Audi customer care in south Africa has been informed of all these issue and have all the recordings of the conversations, yet they will not do anything to assist me. I was promised a meeting with the regional after sales manager. He contacted the branch and then refused to meet with me. So clearly if a customer complains they simply ban you from the premises and then hope you will go away. I have this in an office letter from Audi customer services. I have never in my life ever heard of this happening to anyone. Currently I still have a broken gearbox which was first reported to Audi in 2013 and excessive oil usage problems. Therefore, I ask that someone with authority get involved as the customer service department refuses to supply me with management contact details and messages left for customer service manager go unreturned.

Long term Audi owner, six different models over 20 years and now having issues with burning oil and flat tires and bent rims (2013 A5). Dealer trying to deal with issue but Audi Canada, or whatever third party company represent them in Canada, are incredibly difficult to deal with. Stonewalling and reading from the same old manual of trying to get the customer off the phone with no opportunity to escalate call. No contact info provided for Audi Canada management including the office of the president, as if they were in a bunker somewhere in Germany. Appalling attitude and no resolution. This will be the last Audi I buy or lease because of the arrogant attitude.

These vehicles tend to be extremely visually pleasing, stylish and sleek. These are usually futuristic looking and quite stunning to see. And these vehicles tend to be quite accommodating to multiple passengers with the exception of the spot models. They usually have great leg and head room. Great size for families or large people. And there is a fair amount of variety and selection. I do feel they are highly overpriced when it comes to maintaining the vehicle. They can be reliable but when they break parts can cost more than the vehicle itself. Custom wheels, custom sound systems, custom paint and custom interior options. Also custom accessory packages. These custom features tend to increase the price dramatically.

Ive been purchasing Audi vehicles for the last fifteen years; primarily A6 Supercharged vehicles. Last March, I traded-in my 2016 A6 Prestige Supercharged for the 2021 A6 Prestige 55. From day one there have been issues. There has been nonstop rattling from the dash. The trunk opens without touching the button on the remote or truck latch door. Other times, when pressing the button on the trunk handle, the trunk wont open at all. I would have to take the key fob out of my pocket and press the button in order for the trunk door to open. That defeats the purpose of having the trunk door button on the trunk. This is another flaw of all 2019 and newer models. Numerous times when closing the trunk, we walk away and the trunk opens again without us touching anything!Same with the doors. Numerous times, we are unable to open the doors by placing our hand behind the door handle when the key fob is in our pocket. We have to take the key fob out of our pocket for the door handle to work. The dash rattle has been addressed numerous times, but never fixed. Its a horrible design flaw. No matter what the dealership attempts, it wont fix the poor design flaw. The bottom screen went out three times since purchasing the vehicle. The first time within two weeks of the purchase. Stay away from Audi vehicles from 2019 to current. Too many design flaws.

There is a decent amount of variety available if you are looking for something that fits with the Audi image. Most people are familiar with the models Audi has put out. The car I ended up getting in the end was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Its a pretty standard car size with a pretty standard passenger capacity. Carries four people comfortably, five if you stick someone in the middle in the back. Most of the extras I wanted came standard, and there were a few more things I hadnt thought about that were really appealing and I couldnt pass them up. I was able to personalize my choice in all the ways I had hoped to. Cars have gotten so fancy these days that its almost impossible to find a new car that doesnt come with a bunch of stuff standard that some people might not even want!

Audi ULTRA S-TRNC Gearbox FAILS weeks out of warranty on 38 month old A6. B
Audi ULTRA S-TRNC Gearbox FAILS weeks out of warranty on 38 month old A6. Bought an AUDI A6 Ultra S-TRNC July 2016. Have full service history with Audi. Approved garages spending over £35k, out of the blue Friday 2/09/19 heard a strange whining noise from the engine. Took it into Audi Stirling who advised Gearbox pump had failed and resulted in gearbox damage, it will cost £9117.60 to fix, neither the dealership I bought it from Audi Stirling or Audi UK all the way up to the Managing Director were interested and refused to help me. Just kept saying out of warranty. Their aftercare is appalling and when you investigate the Gearbox online the internet is littered with Ultra S-TRNC fails with no help from AUDI. Not even a warning light on the dashboard lights up no warning at all. Today I have written to WATCHDOG and to 2 national papers. Not what you expect from a leading car manufacturer!!!!

I leased a brand new car from Audi Queensway in Ontario in February 2015 because I thought Audis were awesome cars and naturally assumed the service levels would be too. After I purchased the car I found it to be noisy as if it was not sealed properly and took it back to Queensway. They looked at it several times and advised me that what Audis sounded like. I had a 20k Dodge that sounded much better. After a few more months, I was still unhappy and then took my Audi to Oakville on 03 September. I booked it in a week in advance and explained the problem. After a service person drove the car, he told me he suspected that the tire was causing this. After waiting the entire day, I called Audi to find out whats happening and was told that the tire needs replacing at my cost as its wear and tear. I explained to them ad nauseam that this was a new car and I reported this problem from the time I got this car. They werent interested nor helpful. They suggested I take it back to Queensway as its preowned. I then had to convince them that the car was bought brand new as they assumed its pre-owned. I also mentioned to them that I had purchased every possible warranty and insurance so that I do not have to have any issues.Audi Oakville was adamant that Queensway should sort out the issue. I explained that I bought an Audi and warranty and any dealer should be able to sort out the issue. After speaking ad nauseam to the service manager and admin person, no help was offered other than this is my fault and if I wanted the problem resolved, I should pay for a new tire. I was asked to pick up my vehicle (with the fault not rectified and bring it back another time). I explained that I needed my car for work and that I had taken the day off to get this service done. My wife took time off work and drove me to Audi to drop the car off. Now I also needed to get life to fetch my car. I was also given a lecture by the service manager about how my driving may have caused this issue. After explaining to him again its a new car, I discontinued my call due to his condescending nature. No loan car or hired vehicle was offered to me.I then called Audi head office to explain my dilemma. The first service person after listening to my issue then told me it will be sorted out the next business day. I told her I do not have a vehicle. She told me it was the end of her shift and could not help further. Apparently because she took the call, she could not get anyone else to assist. At 4 pm, she advised that she will arrange with Oakville to provide a hired car. We called back many times and this was not done. After many more calls to her, she had the audacity to hang up on my wife. She also advised no supervisors were available. After many more calls, another assistant directed us to a supervisor who was available named Sunny. Sunny was helpful and we then explained the entire story to him. HE advised that his boss is aware of the problem and at 6 pm last night advised that she will call me this morning.I called 4-5 times this morning and she did not answer. At 12:50 when I called again Audi head office was closed. Yes, now head office is closed and Audi Oakville who I called said my car is ready to pick up with the problem unresolved. I must pay 1500 Cad to have my wheel alignment checked and done and also pay for a new tire which they cannot do anytime soon. So here I am. Audi will not arrange for me to be fetched. I will take a taxi to fetch my car as my son starts school next week and I was asked to drive my car away from the dealership without a fault being repaired.I will advise my insurance company as I assume Audi will assume liability if anything happens due to the related problem. The service manager at Audi Queensway was helpful and has offered to look into the matter sometime next week. I was also advised that certain tires provided by Audi wears differently and this may be the issue. This was communicated by Audi Queensway and Audi Oakville. Imagine that a brand new car with less than 18000 km and I may have tires that wear easily.I spoke to my salesman who sold me the car and apparently I dont have much recourse in terms of returning my car. Ive owned Fords, BMWs, Volvos, VW etc. in the past and Ive never encountered such pathetic service. Never was I constantly given excuses of what cannot be done but rather how can they help me. I regret this purchase and wish I could cancel this transaction without financial consequence but assume now that my monies have been paid and my warranties are paid I am stuck with this vehicle. I will get rid of this car as soon as I can and will certainly go with another brand.

I have always believed in the Audi brand - the prestige of a German engineered vehicle was something I aspired to drive. Two years ago, my mother bought a new 2012 Q5. This was when I set my mind to buying my own Audi. A little over a year ago, I bought my first vehicle, a used 2010 A4. I could not have been more thrilled, and always offered to drive friends and family around, just to show off my new ride. From the moment I purchased my A4, all I could think about was buying the next Gen version or even the new A3 that I ogled over at the Detroit Auto Show. Unfortunately my perspective on the quality of an Audi built vehicle has changed entirely. My complaint is with Audi, not the dealership. My car has less than 100,000 miles on it and has a MAJOR engine failure outside of recall/warranty. For a car to need a camshaft and 2 cylinders replaced at 4 years old (amounting to $5,500-$9,000 in repairs) signals a defective engine, not bad luck. The car has never missed a service appointment. The entire situation is completely ridiculous.I will never purchase or do business with Audi again. The level of interest shown in my personal well-being and overall desire to do the right thing is mind-boggling, and I have never in my life seen such apathy from a company towards a customer with a major mechanical failure outside of their control. I had planned for this to be my first Audi. After this debacle it is definitely my last.

I leased an A3 clean diesel from Audi Coral Springs in April of 2013 with the intention to buy if the car performed as well as the salesperson assured me it would. I was looking for a high performing car with significantly reduced emissions. I considered the Audi diesel, hybrids and electric cars. I chose a model that would no longer be available in the US (A3 clean diesel hatchback). There were only a handful available in the country and one of them was at Audi Coral Springs. Because I was set on this car and there were so few, I had no bargaining power and paid an enormous premium for the car. The leasing process itself was torture. The dealership had one printer and it wasnt working so the entire transaction took more than 4 hours. When the diesel emission fraud became public, I contacted the dealership and Audi USA. I was told over and over that the emission fraud was no big deal and that Audi owed me nothing. Basically I was told that Audi is handling this and that no one in the company could deal with my complaint. Audi has decided kill its brand and ensure that its customers go elsewhere. As for Audi Coral Springs... the personnel at the dealership were down right rude. I returned the car at the end of the lease only to be told that I had to sign a document that if anything happened to the car while in the hands of the dealer (the only place I could return it), I would be legally responsible for the damage. The document stated that I was required to maintain auto insurance on the vehicle until it was in the hands of the manufacturer which would take weeks to months. Ripped off a third time by Audi Coral Springs. I asked how I would know when to release the insurance and I was told not to worry about it. Needless to say, given Audis horrible, horrible customer service and casual attitude about defrauding the public, I will never drive an Audi again. I now have a Lexus hybrid and the experiences could not have been more different. One star for this dealership is really one too many.

It has been my greatest misfortune to have bought an Audi A4. Early on we recognized that we had two problems: one was the ever changing and replacing of the fuel pump and the second was the sludge problem. The first recognition of the sludge problem was on March 18, 2008. This receipt I have. It said Rich found possible oil sludge problem. We then visited Life Quality automobiles of Bay Ridge again on September of 2008 and November of 2008. On one of these dates we paid close to $6000 to fix the sludge problem. The receipt that I do have for 3/18/2008. We also have a service and change of oil at the Audi service center Life Quality. All service and oil changes have been made at Zumbach when were living in NYC. Then Life Quality and Audi of Brooklyn when we moved to Brooklyn.I dont have the receipt for September or November of 2008. I never thought that I would need it for a future claim. I went to the offices of Audi of Brooklyn in May of 2011 to try and get copies of the work but since they bought out Life Quality of Bay Ridge, they only kept the receipts for 2 years and they destroyed any receipts that would have been in my file. Their computer system shows I was in on those two months but they cannot see the details of those days.Once we did pay for the sludge problem, we were under a new 8-year warranty. In June 23, 2009, I was at Audi of Brooklyn and the sludge problem occurred again. I do have this receipt and they fixed the problem again; but since we were covered under the warranty, we did not pay this time.It has been painful monetarily to own an Audi. This sludge problem is ongoing and recurring. To ask me for copies of receipts after three years is unfair. In September of 2008 I had just moved into my new house in Brooklyn and I had just given birth to my son. It is understandable that some papers would have been misplaced.I would like to be reimbursed for my hardship with this car and the funds I paid to fix the initial sludge problem. The car right now has a sludge problem. I can’t keep fixing this problem; it is annoying. I really feel that I received a damaged engine and I would like Audi to replace it with a new or used undamaged engine. It is more costly for them to have to keep fixing an ongoing recurring problem.I am enclosing all and any of the receipts I do have. Replace my engine and reimburse for sludge costs.

I love the Audi A3. It has superb handling and has unbelievable acceleration for its price. It also has 4-wheel drive since we got the Quattro and it is reassuring. Its cabin is attractive and we both adore our driving position. We like its safety features, and has a quiet but extremely responsive engine. It is completely fun to drive.I would have preferred even more safety features such as automated braking in emergencies. Nevertheless, we would buy another Audi in a heartbeat because we have been won over with this experience.

I love Audi the car, but Audi financial services is an absolute nightmare. I lease an Audi A4 in 2011. I leased a car from Audi in 2011 and promptly returned the car in outstanding condition a few days before the end of the lease. About a week before returning the car, some vandalism was done on a fender. I put a claim in with my insurance company and the car was completely detailed not on for the fender but bumper etc. It looked almost in showroom condition. BTW I live in Manhattan. The lease also allowed me to have 30,000 miles on the car. When I returned the car, it only had a little over 14,000 miles on it. If I still needed a car, I would have bought it. I even asked friends if they may be interested in buying it from me if I bought it. It was that much of a deal. Audi employs a vendor named SGS to do car inspections. The inspector spent over an hour inspecting every inch of the car. At times he actually pulled out a magnifying glass! I have leased many cars and have never had an inspector like this. I was outraged when he listed tiny scratches, a tiny ding on the side door and a hairline crack in the rear tail light. He gave me an estimate of what I need to pay for Excess wear and tear. I kept asking him do define excess wear and tear. He showed me a tiny scratch on the hood that exceeded 2/3 of an inch or something like that. I kept saying that the tiny scratch is far from excess wear and tear. Finally I just grabbed his write and decided to call Audi myself. About two months later, Audi called me asking for proof that I turned in my car. I asked her why they dont just get the information from Audi Manhattan where I returned the car. She said that Audi Manhattan is difficult to communicate with and it was easier to just get the information from me. I run a small business and do not have time to do someone elses job. I explained that Audi Financials internal problems are not my problem, but if I find the document I will send it to them. About a month later, sure enough, I found the document, made a copy and sent it to Audi Financial. I then get a bill 5 months later from Audi Financial for over $1,000. There were excess wear and tear charges AND they claimed I turned in the car 20 days late. (I turned the car in early.) So the fighting with Audi financial will continue. There are a lot of hot cars out there. You dont need Audi. I have leased from Lexus and Toyota. I had no wear and tear charges with them and never had the car put through the body shop a week before returning it! DONT LEASE FROM AUDI!!

I would like to know how to lodge a formal complaint about my Audi S3 and the dissatisfaction I have received from Audi roadside assistance and Audi Service Centre in Parramatta. When I first walked into the Audi Parramatta dealership when purchasing my S3, the level of service and communication was outstanding! I was so pleased with how I was informed every step of the way and the progress on when my car was being built. It all went downhill from there as soon as I left the dealership.About 8 months of owning the car the centre console panel started to flack up and peel exposing the aluminium underlay of the part of the car. Shortly after that my car overheated and the warning light came on for me to turn off my engine and put coolant in the car. I was stranded with my 1 year old and my 3 year old. I called the Audi roadside assistance and was told that someone would be there within an hour. 4 hours later no one turned up so I was forced to drive the car myself with my 3 year old and 1 year to the Parramatta service centre for them to add coolant to the car. Then I was emailed a survey about the roadside and because I gave them a 0 mark they called me the next day asking why I had marked them so low. I explained that I was left stranded for hours on end with my 2 kids under the age of 3 and had to drive my overheated car to the service centre myself. I was told by the person on the phone that the job was not logged and that is why no one came or called. Then when I booked in my car for the service I was told I had to wait close to 2 weeks for the new part to arrive. I waited weeks and no one from the Parramatta service centre got in touch with me so I had to call them to follow up with them to confirm my appointment and confirm the part had arrived. I dropped it off and had arranged a loan car. I inquired about the terms and conditions of the loan car agreement. I was told by MASON that I would have to pay $2500 excess regardless if I got into an accident and it was not my fault. So I couldnt even utilise the loan car which is why I asked for the loan car so I could use it for work. I missed an entire days work because of this information that was wrong! I was mislead and deceived into signing this legally binding agreement. Then to top it off after missing an entire day of work to have a part in my car changed, I was called at 3:30 PM to tell me the part had been damaged, mind you the car was dropped off at 8:00 AM that morning. There is no way it was damaged when leaving the factory in Germany, clearly it was damaged when the staff opened it. I know this because the Assistant Manager Chris told me that the part comes wrapped in bubble wrap and layers of other material to protect and it gets delivered in a box. I was then told I have to wait another week and a half for another part to come in.2 weeks later I am yet to hear anything from Audi Parramatta service centre. The website clearly states that first class service to Audi consumers when clearly that is not the case. What is the point of having an Audi if the staff cannot even communicate with its consumers, when they cant even advise its consumers of correct information on an agreement, when my car over heats and parts are damaged and when roadside leaves its consumers stranded? It is a joke that I have spent all this money on this car and to be so dissatisfied. No one at the service centre offered any sort of compensation or help with anything. Not even a sorry.Today after waiting 2 weeks for the new part to arrive I dropped my car off again to Audi Service Centre to have the part changed. I wasnt even called to pick it up even though I left my mobile number with Jeffery, instead my husband was called and when I got to Audi to pick my car up I had to wait 20 minutes as Jeffery was too busy to see me. He told me that he had delayed his lunch and that he had been waiting for me, what kind of employee at a service centre even says that to its customer? On top of that my car not only got damaged whilst they changed the part, the part they fitted doesnt even fit correctly and the installer has now damaged two parts of the console of my car. The worst experience Audi has delivered, worst service and lack of due diligence is unbelievable. I now have to wait even longer to have new parts brought in and I am told Chris or Jeffery will be in touch but it will be a while. The worst Service Centre ever!!!

When I took it to the Audi service shop, they blatantly lied to me after doing a service and check, and said nothing was wrong and perhaps I should buy a new sensor. I kept going back and kept getting the same spiel. Anyways the car engine has died and they are quoting me 10k to rebuild the motor. I told Audi Australia that I have done my research and am aware of the recalls, and class action lawsuit against them for the flawed motor but they are still refusing to do anything about it. Im left with a useless car, back on the bus and frustrated! Does anyone else have any ideas or helpful suggestions where to go from here??

Audi offered all kinds of models, although not the specific color I wanted but it was still okay. I was hoping to have a dark red car but they did not have it. I was still very pleased. The interior design was absolutely gorgeous and made the purchase worthwhile. I was very satisfied with the upgrade options and decided to do all the personal options that were available. However, I wish there could be somewhat more room in the car. But other than that its fine.

I purchased the car used in Late August/Early Sept 2012 in New Jersey. The car had around 42k miles on it when purchased. Within month the oil light came on and I had it in. They topped it off (no receipt) and told me to watch it. Came in again Oct 19 and at that time they updated ECM software and replaced pressure regulating valve and front crank seal and started oil consumption test. They told me that the problem should be fine now. January 2013 EPS light came on and this time it was faulty steering column control module. Oil light back on March, April and every month since. They told me to just come in every time and they would top it off with no paperwork. Over the summer of 2013 the light started coming on every 2 weeks and I started topping it off myself because I couldnt keep running back there and getting into work late. I have had the oil changes done at the recommended intervals, always at the dealer. In Sept 2013 when the light came on again, I took it in and told them it had been coming on every two weeks for a couple of months. They said they would watch it again, and when it came on every two weeks, they did the oil consumption test for the second time. I had to pay for phase 1 and wait for the light to come back on which I did. I had it in two weeks ago for phase 2 and at that time the engine light had also come on. The car failed the oil consumption test and the catalytic converter needed replaced. I have an extended warranty which covers the catalytic converter, but they said the oil consumption issue was not and now I am over the original warranty. They were going to try to get Audi to do something but that was over two weeks ago and the oil light came on again. I had to wait for the catalytic converter to come in and they dont want me to bring it in until they talk to Audi. How long does it take to make a phone call? In the meantime, I am afraid of my engine seizing, which I have heard has happened, and I am tired of having to run to the dealer every other week. I have been in that place more than any other service department combined with all the cars I have owned. I am a 50 year old professional woman who takes meticulous care of my cars and this is absolutely absurd! My son is soon to get his license, and I certainly do not feel safe having him drive around in this vehicle. I have done research on this issue and I know there are a lot of unhappy Audi owners out there. I have been waiting for a class action suit to come about. Hopefully I qualify...Just a footnote...my daughter had a VW Passat when she first started driving and we had so many problems, the dealer took it back, and sold it at auction (He was a friend of the family though)! Sorry for the tirade, but I have reached my wits end! Today, February 22, 2014, I received notice that Audi was not going to assist in any way and the dealer may pay half of the cost to replace pistons and rings? Half? First of all half of what? I have no idea what the cost is going to be... I can only imagine its very expensive. Second, this problem has existed since the day I bought it and it was still under manufacturers warranty at that time. I don think I should have to pay anything for what is obviously a defective engine. I cant even sell the car in good conscience, but I am truly at a loss here and infuriated. Where is the consumer protection here? What are our options? Help...anyone!

I have been attempting to use the Audi US website (as well as Audis global website) for over 3 hours as of 3:55 PM US Eastern Time on 28 April 2019. Audi - whether at their US or audi.com (global) website provides no way to contact Audi - whether by phone, by chat or by email and whether at their global or US websites to deal with this issue. I was trying to start the purchase of an Audi. So as to German competitors to Audi - both the BMW and Mercedes websites work perfectly and responsively. Given this experience, I will not be purchasing an Audi/Volkswagen/Porches for my new care, which I will buy in 2019. What a sad state of affairs for a global company, which has violated pollution control laws in the very recent past in the EU, USA and possibly elsewhere.

If you ever consider buying a used Audi make sure it has an extended warranty for as long as you plan on owning it!!! They break down often and when they do it will cost you a fortune to fix!! You will get sucked in thinking, Ok Ill fix this problem then I should be ok, then next month another issue and it happens every month, and it is major money every time!!! Last one I owned was an A6 with 70,000 miles, car book value is around $10,000 they want $6500 to repair a mechatronic, car will not shift out of park when its cold, no way to bypass it, and they dont even have the part!!! I now own a $10,000 piece of **!!!

They had an absolute huge selection of family friendly vehicles for me to choose from, which made it a really hard choice to pick a specific vehicle. Each of the vehicles were spectacularly invincible looking. They had a really nice glow to them and caught the eye right away - of myself, my spouse, and my child. Seeing all the upgrades made me want personalization, and there were a lot of choices to personalize a vehicle of my choice - color, seating, doors, etc. Having a young child, safety is my number one feature to look for. Since I have a one year old and a newborn on the way, seating is a huge factor in my buying a car. So having at least a five-seater is mandatory and that was available which was nice.

I own a 2015 AUDI A4. I have enjoyed the car and like the ride very much. However, after a little more than 4 years since I bought the car new, there is a severe problem with the air conditioning system. Since I live in South Florida, its essential that this works. The AC evaporator failed and needs replacement. The cost quoted me by AUDI in Naples to repair this was $4740 plus tax. Most of this cost is due to labor since it is extremely difficult to replace. The service tech explained to me that the part itself is a little over $1000, the rest is labor cost. This charge to me is due to poor quality on the part of AUDI. This part should not have failed after only 4 years. In addition, the car is poorly designed if it takes a skilled AUDI mechanic so many hours to repair. The tech said that the entire dash needs to be removed. Im very dissatisfied. Im not about to pay this much. What will fail next and and what price to repair it? I will have to get rid of this car since it is useless after less than 5 years. Needless to say I will not be buying an AUDI to replace it.

Bought a certified pre-owned 2009 Audi A4 Quattro 2.0 in December 2010 and within two weeks the oil light came on. Brought it back for service, thought it was a simple oversight and that it had been fixed. Little did we know then how that yellow check oil light would come to dominate our lives, limit our use and enjoyment of the car, and empty our wallets. Within the first three years we had the car serviced so many times for excessive oil consumption that we finally took to the internet and found we werent the only ones with this issue. After 43,000 miles and countless service visits, we demanded that Audi rectify the problem and (because the car was still under warranty), they replaced the pistons and rings at no cost.Fast forward two years to December 2015, and, at 91,000 miles (just outside of warranty, of course) an ominous turn off engine immediately and check oil warning appeared on the dashboard. Brought the car in for service right away and found that the engine had a leaking intake manifold. Dealer replaced manifold at cost of $1K. One week later, check engine light went on. Brought the car back to Audi and this time, the water pump needed replacing (another $1K). A few days later, that ominous turn off engine immediately and check oil warning appeared again. Brought the car back YET AGAIN. Service department informed us that they had found metal shavings in the engine pan, indicating that engine parts were grating and the engine was compromised. They told us that we needed an entirely new engine, at a cost of almost $11,000!! We were livid. Dealer went to Audi North America and they offered to pay for half. Now we are stuck with a dead car and the prospect of having to pay another $5300 (for a total of $7300 since December) to make what is now a lemon drivable. We believe that Audi should take full ownership of this, as they replaced the pistons and rings on an engine that they knew was faulty. And, we are left wondering if the replacement of the intake manifold parts somehow compromised the engine, resulting in the engine failure (the timing of the engine failure was just a bit too coincidental). We bought this car for what we thought was exceptional Audi performance, reliability and service. Its unbelievable to see here how many others have suffered the same substandard customer service for what is clearly an inferior, shoddily manufactured car. Perhaps theres another class action suit against Audi- this time for engine failure- waiting to be brought to light. My hope is that by writing this, others will steer clear of all Audi cars, both new and used. Maybe once Audis bottom line is affected, theyll start paying more attention to quality control and the real people who drive their cars.

It was horrible. This was my first time buying a used car and it turned out to be the worst experience of my life so far, with all the headaches, confusion, lies and scummy dealers and dealerships. On June 1, 2010, I purchased (financed) a 2005 Audi A6 with 58,000 miles. The car was treated and maintained, as told. By the end of January, I experienced almost a near death accident while on my way home driving the car. It began to shake out of control. The steering wheel locked up and the brakes locked up. I was scared for my life so I pulled the emergency brake. And before I hit the car parked to the right of me, the whole car shut off completely and wouldnt start. I thought I needed a jumper but that wasnt the answer so I had the car towed to the nearest parking space until Audi of Manhattan opened for business the next morning.I paid for the car to be towed there where they diagnosed that my 6-month old investment’s engine failed and seized up. I got the estimate of repairs from the dealership. They told me it would cost a whopping $6,000 for a new motor and about $3,000 for the repair work from Audi. I was sad to hear the news but was confused, alongside with the service team, at why a motor with 64,000 miles would seize if there was nothing wrong and the car was treated like a charm.I finally got enough money, after a few months of parking garages and receiving tickets for my car being unable to move, to pay for the repair. I spent $3,999 on a motor and about $1,000 on repair work.Im writing as an innocent consumer who faced an evil and crooked dealership without the knowledge of what they were capable of doing. And thats ruining innocent consumers like me life and pockets as we know it. I was stuck with a car that was unable to move, let alone start, so I can drive. Paul ** offered no assistance. Audi of America was no help either. Thats why Im turning to this consumer help and small claims court to seek the justice I deserve and stop the crooked dealers out there from destroying another consumer’s hard work and earned money.

Car was purchased in Toronto in mid Oct, 2018, driven to Naples, Florida in early November and parked in a condo garage 100 yards from the Gulf of Mexico with the passenger side exposed to winds from the Gulf. In mid January a braking issue was noticed when braking at highway speeds. Audi service determined that the issue was caused by rust on the passenger side brake rotors and advised that because this was a result of outside influences the repair cost would not be covered by the warranty. Does this seem reasonable when other equivalent cars parked in the same condo location over 8 years had not encountered the same problem?

My Audi A4 was well designed/attractive. It has a nice handling, smooth ride and black on black with black tinted windows. It also had a great black leather interior to match the slickness Of the black exterior. It is definitely a nice car and one of my absolute faves because it was very stylish, fresh, sleek and cool. It almost reminded me of a Batmobile because it was so nicely designed and had a lovely exterior. It was in the luxury world but not as expensive as a Benz or BMW. I loved the Audi A4 but wish it had more tech features. Also, it needed lots of repairs and had recalled items which was very annoying. So when it started to break down I was ready to get rid of it instead of pouring money into repairs.

I have been driving the car long distances between Pittsburgh and Chicago on a bi-weekly basis and other than having to watch the oil and add every 1500 miles the car has operated flawlessly. We own an Audi A4, and loving it. The car was serviced regularly at Pacific Audi. The only problem we experienced was with the oil consumption, it took up oil like we have never seen in any car before. We complained a few times before warranty was up, but nothing was done. When we elevate our complaint (after warranty period), this is what Pacific Audi Svc folks told us because we waited too long, i.e. post warranty period, it will cost $500+ to do the oil consumption test, and if our car needs to have the piston replaced it will cost about $10K - $15K. We were livid. We took the car to Long Beach AUDI for 2nd option again. Our Audi A4 is a great car, handling is great. We are actually considering another Audi. We will NEVER return to PACIFIC AUDI again to buy or to have our car serviced. They always tried to gauge us. There was always a problem, if not one thing its another. We had to bring it to our mechanic for a 2nd opinion because we dont trust them, this time we took it to Long Beach AUDI. Ive been told Audi is transitioning its service but still it has been a frustrating 3 weeks and counting to not only solve the issue but find whom to talk to and receive the support I need to resolve the issue. My advice for anyone buying a new model is to get all tech matters set up before leaving the dealer and have them agree the car will be delivered working. It is extremely difficult to get support after the purchase. It is very disappointing considering the cost of the car which lacks many features that can be found in non luxury brands.

Audi A4 2003 original owner - After replacing our timing belt and water pump, a problem with heating begins. Then three years ago, the dealership asked us to replace the heater core to resolve the problem with blowing only cold air instead of hot through the heating system during the winter. The cooling system works fine. I was against that because there wasnt any reason the heater core to stop working at once. I changed the dealership, but they obviously had the same policy everywhere not to diagnose, only replace part in order to make money. I gave up and replaced the heater core. As I expected, it didnt resolve the problem at all. After three years of flushing the system at the same dealership, they diagnosed again that the heater core shall be replaced at my expense. It is very disappointing that a relatively good car has so bad service and looks like a not professional service at all.

We all know the Takata airbag recall is huge. But some manufacturers are getting it right, and some are not. AUDI IS NOT. They have limited cars affected by the recall compared to other manufacturers, but my car (2012 Q5) is affected. I called Audi several times and they are not offering any option to pay for a rental car or loaner call. I called the dealer too, but they wont do anything unless Audi pays. Audi told me to call the dealer and then the dealer told me to call Audi. I was just bounced around and around with no answers. My husband owns an Acura and the local dealer paid for his rental car for 2 months while he waited for the replacement part (which came this week). Audi is doing nothing, which I find unacceptable. They want the consumer to be stuck with the risk, which I also find unacceptable. All Audi car owners in this situation should put pressure on Audi to take the approach Acura/Honda is taking (and maybe other manufacturers, I am not sure who else). Based on the experience Ive had, I would never buy another Audi.

After reading these stories, I had to write about my experience with a new 2014 leased Audi A5. About a month after I leased the car, it began to make a loud rattling noise every time I accelerated. I brought the car in 4 times over the last 3 months to try and resolve this issue. I have had a loaner vehicle for 21 days. I have been in constant contact with Audi USA customer service (800-822-2834) regarding this so that my file stays updated. After bringing it in for the third time, I requested that they replace the vehicle. They looked into it for me, told me to test drive cars that I would be willing to take in its place only to tell me a week later that my request was denied. At that time I had just picked up the car from its 4th trip to the dealership for service. Now I am going after them through an attorney that specializes in CA lemon law. Audi customer service is DISGUSTING. I get that a man made car can have issues but its how they handle it that is the problem. Do yourself a favor and give your money to BMW.

Purchased a brand new 2013 Audi Q7 last April. Waited close to a month for the vehicle. Problems started since day one. The same day, the vehicle was picked up. Within 15 minute driving, the check engine light came on. Brought it back to the dealer and diagnosed to be a bad intake manifold. The vehicle was in the shop for a week. A month down the line, one day the sunshade for the panoramic roof fell off the rail completely. Brought the vehicle back to the dealer and get it fix. In June of this year, the Sunshade fell off the rail again, brought it back to the dealer, waited a week for the repair. Literately a week after the vehicle was picked up, the rail came back again, the car was in the dealer for another week. Now the problem come back again. The car is a little over 1 year old, barely driven with only 6000 miles. Went to the dealer to complaint about the issue and see how they and AUDI will address the issue. The response I got was: this does not affect the drivability or the safety operation of the vehicle. I could always bring it back to the dealer and get it fix. I am extremely disappointed in the brand and its customer service focus philosophy. Especially as a luxury car dealer and manufacture, this is definitely not the way to address the issue. 60K investment and what I get in return is constantly going back to the dealer for the same issue. Even with me addressing the issue, their response is tell me to keep going back. I dont have the time for all this, definitely not a good ownership experience. Audi provides cars that meet the requirements for most people. They offer smaller vehicles such as the A3 and A4 that would be suitable for people looking for a luxury vehicle but who are budget conscious or live in a busy city with limited parking. They have the A5 and A6 for the midrange. If you are looking for a fully loaded full size sedan there is the A8 and S8 (more sporty). If you are into sports cars there is the R8. Audi also offers attractive vehicles. Their vehicles have classy styling and clean lines. They offer sporty options and their new vehicles feature full led headlights which is a great improvement over the old halogen lights. Also, Audi offers several color options and multiple trim options. Most people can find something that would suit their style; however, individuals looking for a clearly unique style or appearance might be a little disappointed. They have options in the different car size classes. Generally the vehicles are spacious and accommodating. The smaller vehicles will easily accommodate 4 adults with maybe a child in the middle in the back. Larger vehicles such as the A8 will easily and comfortably accommodate 5 adults.

My story is very similar to the one from Denise, Chatham, NJ. I therefore will not repeat all the problems I had with my Audi A4 2009. This is the short form. I owned 5 Audis. I have always been an avid fan. I purchased my latest A4 new in 2009. The car turned out to have one problem after another. In 2013, at 55,000 miles I brought the A4 to the Audi dealer gain. Flow Motor in Greensboro, NC. I told them that the oil consumption is way too high. (I have done so at all previous service visits.)Well in front of other customers I was told in a lengthy lecture that I was wrong. Topping of oil is quite normal, I was told. In fact I was treated like and idiot and so embarrassed that I dropped the subject. Instead of addressing my concern about the oil consumption the technician told me that I need a new manifold, new water pump and other items which were not covered by the warranty. Later I found out about the class action lawsuit and the fact that a lot of Audi owners had the same problem with excessive oil consumption. Brought the A4 back to have this oil leak fixed according to the class action lawsuit. Guess what? Now the technician thinks the oil is consumed by the turbo and this has to be fixed first, for about $ 2500 before he can work on the other oil leak. This just does not sound right. Again, I reported high oil consumption already in 2013, but was told this is normal. Now it is not normal anymore and a $ 2500 cost to me. My oil consumption was always the same from the first year to now about a quart per 400 miles. I do not trust the dealer nor the car anymore. My only desire is to get rid of it as fast as I can.

There was a recall on oil consumption on my 2011 Audi Q5. I took it to the dealership to have them check and repair, as soon as I got the information. I did this every time the oil light went on. They put in oil, reported back that all was well. Then, at time before this last one, ran a test, said to come back in 1,000 miles. This last time, the oil light went on and I went to service. They ran tests, now Audi says that I need a complete piston job at 77,804 miles. This is a modern car, how is it I should need a engine rebuilt at these miles. If there were really problems with this model, it should be Audi that fixes the car. Why would anyone want to buy an Audi with this kind of engine and the inability to fix their cars.

The best Audi will do is sell me the top at half off (only $2,000 plus labor). They are unwilling to stand behind their product and replace the top that obviously was poorly made. This will be my last Audi.

Some upgrades available on the website but were somewhat limited because of the many included features as standard equipment. A truly upscale car for the price. Seating for five passengers is the standard for this sedan. Although back seat seats five adults are more comfortable with two adults and perhaps one child.

I leased a q5. Great car, and a fine enough experience during my lease. However post lease the actions of Audi have me considering talking to a lawyer. Prepaid overage miles, was not credited. Called in to give them my transaction number and their office is not taking calls at this time due to high volume. No call back option, no hold option, and I get this message for a week straight of attempts. 2 weeks later I finally get through to the team, give them my prepaid transaction number and they said I should receive a zero account balance shortly. One month later I get a bill again without my prepayment applied. Again their phone number for Audi USA is not accepting calls. If this touches my credit which it has threatened to do I will have to seek a legal remedy. Ridiculous that I have to spend this much of my time and effort to fix their issues. Its a beautiful car but WALK AWAY!

In March of 2017, I walked into the Audi Mission Viejo, California dealership to have a minor repair on my leased 2014, A8. They said it would take 15-20 minutes so I took the time to look at the new A8 cars that were available. Jon, the salesman came up to me and asked if he could help – I said I was just looking because my lease doesn’t come due for another 2 months. He said, “How would you like to save a couple hundred dollars per month and get a new one today”. My first question was what happens to the old lease where there are 2 more payments due. He said that those payments would be wrapped into the new lease and even then, I would save a couple hundred dollars per month.I explained that this would be the only way I would be interested in getting a new car that day because I was actually thinking of other less expensive cars and wasn’t particularly happy with the service I had received from Audi during the current lease. Enticed by the offer, I ended up picking out a new 2017 A8, and before I left, I realized that I wasn’t even coming close to a couple hundred-dollar savings, in fact the payment was about $60 less. I just accepted this considering that they took back the other car with still two months of payments. He also told me that even if there was some minor wear and tear Audi waives that when you are leasing a new car and “staying part of the family”.Fast forward 2 years and my wife and I are moving to a new home. We are getting a mortgage and something shows up on my credit which is 820 on the FICO scale. I’m told by the bank that I need to do a conference call with Audi and an outside credit company that deals with these situations. During the call, I am told by Edgar at Audi that I still owe $3,236.74 from the 2015 lease. He explained that the amount due was because Audi took a loss when they sold the car, excess wear and tear, and lease payments that were still due. I pointed out to him that I have never seen one single bill via mail or any other form in two years. Also, while I was speaking to him, I checked my online account with Audi which showed all past and current leases and nothing showed there either. He agreed that this is a problem and I should contact my dealer and Audi of America. He also said that this does not show on my credit as something that is outstanding but then, when I pointed out that is why we are having this call, he said that should never had/have an effect on my credit. What am I supposed to do, call Audi every time I need a loan and have my credit checked? I will NEVER have anything to do with Audi or any company affiliated with Audi, they are as crooked as they come.Oh, and by the way, on another subject that you as a consumer should be aware of, several months ago I asked for a copy of the lease for my wife’s 2015 Q7, they ended up sending someone else’s credit application which had a lot of personal information like social security number, DOB, where they work, how much they make, etc. When I called back to let them know, they made the same mistake and sent me yet again someone else’s information. Third try, I finally got a copy of my lease. Bad business is the best I can say for Audi!

Ive been a Volkswagen/Audi customer for more than 12 years. My very last Audi was a 2005 Audi A6 3.2 Quattro sedan. I have leased it brand new for three years then purchased at lease-end. I ended up selling it to CarMax last Friday, 5/25/12. For almost seven years of A6 ownership, with 5 year/50K warranty included and purchased an additional 5 year/75K extended warranty with expensive repairs in mind, it was one hell of a ride. It was pampered like a baby and well-maintained. Its body is built like a jet and runs like a bullet train until 71K came. On 7/5/11, I took it to my local Audi dealership due to ABS warning light. They advised to have the 75K service done at the time and I said okay and they went ahead and performed the 75K service. After an hour or so, my advisor came back and informed me that while running some software update, the Parking Brake Control Module crashed. Guess what? It had to be replaced. Wow! They added another problem to the existing problem and that has always been the case every time I set foot to any Audi dealership and I would always pay for it! So, the Parking Brake Control Module was replaced for $794 excluding the 75K service which was $775 for a total of $1569 in one visit. After almost a year, on 5/8/12, I took it to the same Audi dealership with 77K on it due to the intermittent PRNDS all highlighted in red plus the ABS light came back. The car stayed in the dealership for 3 days. My advisor said it needs a new transmission and a new ABS pump and module for a grand total of $16K. Cha-ching! Wow! Keep in mind that I still owe around $10K on the car. I was totally overwhelmed! I called Audi of America and asked for some assistance and offered 50% off the total repair cost. I still need to pay $8k for it. I felt that it wasnt enough due to the fact that Im still making monthly payments plus the car has been well-maintained and had low mileage for the year model which lead me to the question of How can it suddenly break just like that?On May 25, 2012, I went to another dealership to trade it in. They checked and appraised the cars worth. To my surprise, they said the cars transmission is in good condition and theyre willing to buy it for $10K. I was so surprised to know that the transmission was not even an issue and I would still get $10K for it. That very same day, 5/25/12, I took my A6 to CarMax for appraisal just to have a comparison. Guess what? They found nothing wrong with the transmission. The appraisal report said, Transmission good condition, etc. and they were willing to pay me $10K. Well, well, well, the truth came out. Right that very moment, I realized Ive been cheated on, lied to by Audi for so many years. That was the very reason why I sold my A6 to CarMax that very same day. I dont mind paying for expensive maintenance for I knew it was bound to happen since its a luxury car but the fact that Audi was a greedy and a dishonest brand, it wasnt worth keeping at all. Maybe I didnt even need to have that Parking Brake Module replaced after all. I wanted to share this grim experience I had with Audi to the consumers out there who are stuck in the four rings of hell or are planning to purchase it. Let this serve as a warning or lesson to you and to those who are still okay with Audi, good luck. Im glad I got out of it but it took me thousands of dollars to realize that I dont want anything to do with Audi anymore.

Audi TT transmission failure after only 7500 miles. Eighteen days in the shop to repair. While there, the dealer scratched my pristine car and drove it through paint, which covered the wheels, wheel wells and much of the car and then denied they did so to escape liability. The service manager lacks tact and credence and was quite combative. Stay away from this dealership! Audi customer care is a contradiction in terms.

Audi is a luxury car manufacturer that offers a huge selection of vehicles such as sedans, coupes, convertibles, SUVs, crossovers, and wagons at a affordable price. The appearance of Audi vehicles are really unique and very luxurious. Some features include sport mode, push to start technology, leather interior and even off road mode. You can choose between various colors and you have a large options for upgrades. You can upgrade your car with tinted windows, change wheels, change the interior. Passenger capacity depends on what model of car you purchase. My Audi doesnt really have much room so maybe 3 people can fit in it since the back of the car is really small.

As of 2020 this car is now 8 years old with 120K kms on it. In the last four years this car has had a number of issues that I have never experienced with much cheaper vehicles I previously owned. Lets see what went wrong... Ball bearings had to be replaced last year, both rear view mirrors -drivers and passengers sides have come unglued, now the coolant is leaking and the water pump needs to be replaced. The worst of all is that the car has been eating oil like crazy - needs to be topped off every 1000kms now - apparently it is due to the issue with the pistons on multiple vehicles but Audi is doing nothing about it. German engineering hasnt proven to be all that great. Sure the car feels nice to drive and handles well but considering the upper class it is not made well. Not buying another Audi again - the amount of issues and the cost of repairs are not worth the nicer interior and nicer handling than your average Mazda or Chevy.

I have owned several German autos... BMW, Mercedes and Audi. Of the three brands, the Audi Q5 Premium Plus (2010) has been the best by far! The only problem has been with the emissions system fouling due to the direct fuel injection; a problem common to many current brands. Audis service has been excellent in correcting any and all problems! My biggest complaint is the cost of replacement parts... extremely high ($53.00 for a plastic visor clip)!

I leased my Audi Q5 on February 2021. For the last month and a half my car has been at the dealership 3 times due to it not starting consistently. Several alarm lights also showed upon the dash along with the engine light. Due to all of this I did not feel confident driving, so I notified the person who took care of my lease. This has been the worst customer service I have received in a dealership. Both Audi headquarters and the dealership neglected to do anything to remedy the situation. The only thing they offered was to attempt to sell me another car which of course, entails paying more money. On top of that in order to end the lease early I was being asked to pay more money as if I had caused the problem in the first place. Audi did not attempt to compensate me for all of the issues that popped up nor did they help me to lend a car as I awarded results. Absolute worst dealership and worst customer service (Audi South Orlando). Completely washed their hands and tried to shift the burden onto me. Very careless and neglectful. Don’t waste your time and your money with Audi.

Im one very disappointed customer in Audi brand and this will haunt me for the rest of my life and I doubt the credibility and integrity of Audi. Customers mean nothing to Audi in my view. My car has been lying in the Audi Polokwane branch for the past 5 months, I gave the dealership authorization to fix the vehicle on the 8th of February and they have never contacted me to give me any update on the progress since then no loan vehicle in the 6 months. Im still paying for the vehicle on a monthly basis and have to make alternative travel arrangements and also save money towards the hefty bill of approximately R67 000 initially R103 000. In all this Audi doesnt care how their loyal client to survive. My service history shows you that I depended on the vehicle because I used to service it on average every 3 months (15 000km). Its my only vehicle. Im struggling to carry on with my daily duties and AUDI JUST DOESNT CARE. To them it seems it was just GOOD RIDDANCE to rubbish when they sold me the vehicle. This A6 is my second Audi but honestly after this treatment I doubt I can ever buy this brand again. Now I doubt everything about the brand from Customer Service/Quality/Integrity/Reliability/the ability of mechanics (I meant why would an overhaul take 4 months, when its new parts) to Durability. A 2.5-year-old vehicle requiring an engine overhaul whilst my family has a 24 yr old Toyota Corolla still going strong, maybe Im comparing apples with bananas, a good strong well-built quality affordable Japanese vehicle with an expensive poor quality German vehicle I dont know.Below is a statement from the Audi South Africa website and honestly to me none of it, is true looking at my situation. e.g. Vehicle has no quality, I mean it essentially requires a new engine at 130 000 km, I get no support, I dont feel respected either. Our relationship is just based on me losing out in many ways. Also I dont think the cars are revolutionary but quick fix to last 2 yrs or less.Audi After Sales - Quality and Prestige - The day you purchase your Audi, you dont just buy a car. You become part of a legacy that is characterised by innovation and beauty, prestige and quality. You begin a relationship founded on mutual respect and admiration that progresses into the bonds we form with you through our valuable services and aftercare support. That is why we dont stop at designing revolutionary cars, we also go on to design outstanding support products specifically created to meet the exacting needs of the discerning Audi customer.Im a very dissatisfied customer and I strongly believe this vehicle had a factory problem though I may not be able to prove it. How can an injector which is part of the fuel system fail without warning? I believe its taking forever to fix (4 months) because it was never assembled properly and I was used to get rid of it, its an engine rebuild at my costs nogal. As I mentioned above, it was just a case of GOOD RIDDANCE. I believe this problem on the vehicle is probably unheard of on this models but Audi just wont admit. Otherwise it could have been sorted in 2 weeks at most. Its a factory fault. This is poor customer service of the highest order. This whole experience has left me traumatized badly. It has also changed how I perceive Audi considering I was such a loyal customer having bought my 1st Audi in 2011 (A4 1.8T).

Audi of North America gets an F for customer service. I had the worst experience ever dealing with their representative over a new Q5 I purchased. Two phone calls (ended nowhere), I escalated the issue to a supervisor who not surprising was same useless when it comes to settling disputes between the customer and the dealer. The car came with a license plate cover on the front grill, but my state does not mandate/issue a front license plate and the grill. There are two big holes that cannot be covered by a license plate. Our family purchased a 2011 Audi A5 with 2.0 T engine. The Timing Chain (Tensioner) failed at 70,000 m. The engine head and pistons (predictably) are wrecked. The car was maintained according to the Audi schedule with the Dealer from whom we purchased the car. All the records are verified by the dealer. The standard warranty is 50,000 m. This engine/car has the Oil Consumption problem that precipitated the Class Action Suit. So, the car was used as designed, maintained as designed, - and it FAILED as designed! The failure is due to lack of lubrication of the Timing tensioner/chain. Something absolutely beyond the consumers control (beyond filling the engine as specified).4/5/15: The car is at the Dealership in Austin Texas - the Dealership says they have talked to Audi and both are trying to escape the manufacturers responsibility to fix the problem. It seems that the only (implied warranty) service to the customer that Audi will deliver is when threatened by a lawsuit (class action suit as prev). In summary: The engine was maintained as required; the car was used as designed; the consumer fulfilled all their responsibilities; the engine (built by a prior-respected engineering company) failed - beyond all control of the consumer within a small portion of the design life of the engine. How is it not Audis responsibility? Get decent Audi! Before another Class action suit gets kicked off.

I bought a used car, a 2003 Audi A4 1.8T, from this dealer on 7-27-2012. The next day, the engine check light was on and I took it to a repair shop to examine it. Also, the coolant alarm keeps popping up. The technician told me the catalytic converter needs to be changed along with other issues. Fixing the engine check light problem will cost me $1,000, not to mention the two complete junk tires that need to be replaced. Furthermore, the system was recoded several months ago by the dealer. They tried to hide this information by storing code to the system so that the engine check light wont be back on unless you drive it for several miles. I only have this car a week. The engine was too hot for me to keep driving when I was on my way back home after I brought the issue to the dealer. He told me the car is fine. However, I have to stop and turn off the engine after driving two minutes because the engine was too hot. It took me five hours to drive 20 miles on the express way which was really dangerous. The dealer intentionally hid the major issue of the car from me - the buyer - and refused to fix the issue. Neither did he agree to get this car back and give my portion of money back. This is really a nightmare. It is really dangerous to drive a car at 20 miles/hour speed on an expressway and to stop it abruptly just to let the engine gets cooler. That is crazy.

This is our 4th Audi including 5000s A6, and now A4 FWD 2013. For the first 20,000 miles the car was great. Suddenly, without warning the car acted like it was turned off when you pressed on the gas pedal and then as you depressed further it was like the lights went on and the tires would spin and accelerate excessively. It happens when either my wife or I drive it and it is sporadic but puts us in extreme danger when it occurs. One time I almost hit another car and my wife was almost hit 3 times when pulling out at intersections and onto the highway. It has been to the dealer several times and they explained that it is functioning as expected. The mechanics said that almost all FWD A4s with CVT have this issue to different levels of severity and that we were lucky to have gone 20,000 miles without an issue. The dealer has been very accommodating but unless it fails or throws a code there is nothing they can do. Audi acknowledges privately there are problems with the CVT but I am guessing they dont want another recall on them. We are trying one more time before we get rid of the car and buy something other than an Audi.

Im stranded. I have what I suspect to be some sort of major computer malfunction because despite my turning the vehicle off, the radio turns on by itself and is what I suspect to be the reason why my battery has drained (and no, I never got the battery service light prior to this incident, in fact, I didnt get any service indicator lights). Once I miraculously got it started, the speedometer and computer mph reading defer by 25 mph - at a red light the computer reads Im going 25 mph. I also get the occasional TPMS on my dash and my tires are fine. This wouldve cost me a fortune if my vehicle werent still under warranty. Drive 30 minutes and dropped off at RVA Audi dealership. Got new battery but was told not covered by warranty because power left on. Pray tell how that is possible when radio AND lights are automatic???? And, even if this lie were true, the battery, if properly functioning, would be jump started, and would then be good to go. I purchased an Audi A4 2.0 in March 2000 (**). The car had engine oil leakage and engine oil has to be topped up every 5,000 km initially and then the situation worsened to having to top up more and more regularly until now, top up engine oil every few hundred km! It was reported that my car was not the only one having this problem. Finally in November 2011, Audi Company, Euromobil Sdn Bhd (located in Kawasan Perindustrian Temasya, Shah Alam, Selangor DE, Malaysia) contacted me and informed me that my new car would be given an overhaul service and an Audi staff would contact me on when to send in my car. When I did not hear from them after a couple of months, I called and was informed that the person-in-charge had resigned and therefore did not respond to my calls. This indicates a lack of management coordination, no customer follow-up and the inconvenience of topping up the engine oil continued.Audi Salesman, Mr. Danny, managed to arrange with customer service executive, Mr. ** to have my car sent in on 20th February 2012 to Audi for the overhaul service. I was informed that it would require two weeks to have the car overhauled. I had made arrangements to rent a car for use while my Audi was in the service center. When I arrived, unfortunately, I was informed that the overhaul could not be carried out as there were too many cars being serviced and therefore could not attend to my car but I was informed it could be done the following week. Since I was there, I sent in my car anyway to have a minor body repair work and repainting and I was told that the overhaul would be carried out after that. When I went to collect two weeks later, I was informed that the overhaul was not done! Customer Service Manager, Mr. ** apologized and rescheduled the overhaul service for 26, March 2012. This time I requested Mr. ** to please arrange to provide me a car for my use when I next send my car for the scheduled overhaul. Mr. ** assured that he would try his best.On March 16, I contacted Mr. ** to check if he had managed to arrange a car for my use when my car was being overhauled and he confirmed he had made the arrangement. Therefore, it was confirmed that I could send in my car on 26, March 2012 and I expected to drive away in the car arranged by Mr. **. When I arrived, Mr. ** informed that the arranged car was not available. I was really upset as I have a business meeting at 10 am! Therefore, I had no choice but to drive away in my own car to attend the business meeting. Again, through no fault of mine, my car was not given the overhaul as arranged and assured by Audi!People buy Audi because it is reliable, stylish and comfortable. It is a pride to own an Audi and lots of pleasure to drive it. Customers have been assured of the dependable and good service, including after sales service. From what I have written, you can imagine how very upset, disappointed and frustrated I am with your distributor and their service. It has caused me lots of inconvenience, precious time and expenses in hiring a replacement car for use. I am officially lodging a complaint with your company.

I was sent a letter stating that I owe about $3400. I made a payment of $2400 and common sense dictates that the remaining balance would be $1000. But when I followed up in May 2017 (one month later), Audi said the remaining balance was actually $1300 after the $2400 posted. They raised the balance by $300 and nobody can explain why. Every time I call to inquire, Im placed on long holds and then hung up on. A supervisor finally reached out to me and said that he has no idea why there is this discrepancy but I owe $1300. No explanation or attempt to come to a solution. After I pushed, he hung up the phone as well.Obviously theyve made a mistake somewhere but nobody wants to figure it out. Now I dont know how much I owe and if the balance will continue rising with each payment instead of dropping. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Stick to BMW. Brand new 2024 Audi A6 TDI - I have 6000 km and there are a few things that I dont like about the car but will not mention them as I should have been more detail-oriented when I tested the car. You should never rush into buying an car unless it meets ALL your safety requirements. What I am complaining about has to do with the brakes. They grab when you have almost stopped. They seem to stick when they are wet. They make a sound as though the pads and caliper are stuck. If you slowly pull out with your foot still on the brake, they make a God-awful sound. And that is when they are dry. When wet, you talk rep your life into your hands with these brakes. They really stick and the sounds are horrible. If I am wearing a soft sporty shoe, I still cannot bring the car to a smooth stop. Forget about it with firmer dress shoes. Its a horrible experience. Guess what? They just gave me a loaner, after I complained about the brakes. It had 400 KM on the odometer and the brakes did the very same thing? They told me that it had to do with some brake technology. I say nonsense. This appears to be an endemic problem. Its unpleasant and dangerous.

I traded my Mercedes for a gorgeous brand new 2012 Audi A8 L. My nightmares
I traded my Mercedes for a gorgeous brand new 2012 Audi A8 L. My nightmares with Mercedes pushed me away from ever buying another Mercedes product. But the nightmares have returned. 3,700 miles EGV failure. Audi came and towed it to the dealer. Parts had to be ordered from Germany. 5 days, 10 days, 14 days of waiting. Wrong parts arrived. After pushing them to pull one out from another A8 in inventory they finally agreed. In the meantime, I was offered to drive a new Infiniti M series from another dealer because all of the 15 Audi loaners were out. I didnt miss my A8 much because the Infiniti was amazing (note to self...).4,500 miles and the navigation screen wouldnt rise from dash because of a motor failure. 3 days of downtime. 7,000 miles - My dash lit up like Christmas lights due to a mysterious computer glitch. Towed again. 2 days of downtime. Mechanics couldnt find cause. 10,500 miles - Trunk doesnt open due to a motor issue. 1 day of downtime. 14,000 miles - Right side Hella made headlamp housing needed replacement due to moisture build-up. This happened on my Mercedes too at 22,000 miles. I have never experienced any problems with Koito or Ichikoh headlamps. 1 day of downtime. 16,000 miles and its Christmas lights again. All lit up and no engine. Towed again. A sensor was replaced after 2 days. 18,200 miles - HVAC failure. Aluminum die cast compressor clutch cracked and needed replacement. Since then a slightly noticeable noise when operating. It used to be dead quiet. Dealer disagrees... 19,000 miles - Super annoying rattling and humming coming from passenger side door. Loose component found in window regulator. Simple fix.I guess this is a common situation with Audi quality and reliability. For a price inching near $105K, I expected a high quality product. I was wrong. My decision to ignore all the consumer review agencies was indeed a stupid thing to do. All of the repairs were done under warranty. The time without my A8 due to quality issues is ridiculous. The headaches of going back and forth to the dealer is unacceptable. Its the very last Audi I will ever own. Colleagues and friends never have issues with their Lexus/Toyota, Infiniti/Nissan, and other Japanese makes. My 2007 4Runner with 77,000 miles had absolutely ZERO problems. My 2010 997 had a few issues but nothing near my Audi. My brothers Acura TL has had zero issues. Ive decided to get rid of my A8 this month. Im going for the Lexus LS F Sport. It may be a bit boring compared to the Audi, but Im tired of wondering whats going to breakdown today! I am convinced the Germans should rely on Japanese suppliers for electronics! The Germans have the greatest ideas but theyre poorly executed...

I like the Audi R8 for the sleek design and makes me feel young again. The power behind the wheel is awesome. Life itself seems to stop existing when you jump on the highway. Very clean high-class interior. Comfortable heated and cooled seats for both summer and winter months. Purrs like a baby whilst idle. Good things for this brand. Always recommend upgrades. Better stereo system and bass boost. Get the heated seats and tinted windows. Really only meant for a two seater person vehicle but has a back seat.

I bought a brand new 2018 Audi Q5 thinking it as my dream car. It brought such a dismay & disappointment within a few days of buying with lots of problems popping up every day. Problems seen and fixed: 1. There was this squeaking noise from the back: Fixed after two visits and I had show them where the problem was happening. 2. The backlights not working. SUV in the garage currently to address this problem as on 12/06/2017. 3. Window regulator gone bad. Replaced and FIXED it. 4. Auto sense start & stop feature not working if the AC is ON. - Still not fixed as on 12/06/2017. SUV is with the dealers regarding this issue. 5. Numerous minute scratches all over the car the day it was bought. I was so disheartened seeing the scratches. All these complaint were taken to the dealer & The Audi North America too. After explaining the problems the service providers were not able to even figure out the problems. I had to go twice to explain them over & over. The dealers are still trying to figure out the solutions for some issues. I have already visited the dealer at least 6-7 times & right now my car is still in the garage since 2 weeks. The Audi USA are of no help. They took 2 months to respond to my case & said that the dealer would take care of it.And the car is still in the garage as I write this review. My Only question after buying brand new car are: 1. Why should I undergo this mess and waste of time/energy after buying a BRAND NEW CAR. 2. How come AUDI has not done any quality control before delivering the car. 3. How can they deliver a car like this to the customers and then have the customer go over this pain, distress and frustration. 4. Why should I visit dealers again and again to leave the BRAND NEW SUV for repairs after paying full price to buy the vehicle.

I own a 2014 Audi Q7 TDI and was forced to bring my car in for the diesel gate emissions fix. My car is ruined and unsafe to drive! I was promised a slight reduction in power and possible loss of 1-2mpg. I am down 4-5 mpg and over 10 mpg while towing a trailer. Car no longer has any mid-range power so I can no longer tow my trailer safely. Audi/VW deliberately understated the changes resulting from the emissions modifications from the diesel gate scandal. Anyone who owns a diesel VW/Audi resist from enrolling in the fix. It will ruin your car! The fix is a bigger lie than the original diesel scandal! VW/Audi point the finger at the judge and refuse to even diagnose the car.

Originally I had purchased my vehicle at Biener Audi. I purchased an S3 2017 Model. Brand New this vehicle came with approx. 70 miles on it. I found out that they transported it from Audi of Smithtown. I, then proceeded to take it to this location. One of my issues was the hood & the windshield. The hood is cracked (from a pebble most likely states a professional who I had examine it; they touched it up & didnt allow it to dry long enough so it came off.) Audi of Smithtown has no reglect of this happening. Another issue is inside of my vehicle, the main console buttons are sticky-like. After going back and forth with Audi of Smithtown, they agreed to take it off and look if its warranty or not. They will take it off as a courtesy. They state sticky substance is inside. They wont do anything for me. They ordered the part for me but are claiming I have to come out of MY pocket for $970 because they dont deem this as a warranty issue. Are you kidding me? This vehicle came in such horrible condition! My first Audi. To be exact my issues consisted of: Scratched up interior panels. Damaged hood/windshield from transportation. Abnormal creased seats from getting in and out from test drives. My fiancé & I clearly knew that this vehicle had been sitting on a lot for a LONG time. It was so dirty after they finished detailing it. Back bumper deep scratches. Console buttons sticking, rough. Scratched up alternator (cosmetic). Front bumper full of dings (black spots). Dings on headlights/scratched up.Im VERY unhappy and UNSATISFIED with BOTH Audi of Smithtown and Biener Audi. This was the WORST experience Ive ever had. Ive opened up a case with Audi of America (corporate) and theyve stated case has been escalated as high as possible. They wont do anything for me its up to the dealership to make it right. Please save yourself a headache. Dishonest dealerships terrible customer satisfaction. Bieners part: Some people involved were: Patrick ** (sales person). Service Manager (Stephen **). I really dont know where to start. I can fill pages and pages showing what bad company I trusted when I bought an Audi Q5. The car is extremely bad, no quality at all. Many problems with the gearbox, the breaks squeaking, steering wheel making bad jerking movements, and the list goes on. But what is really the worst is not the extremely bad quality of the car but the unbelievably bad service. I never took my car to the Audi dealer and they actually knew what was the problem. It stayed one time a full month at the dealer and they were not able to know what was the problem. Now I am facing a problem with the ignition, they told me we need to update the software and we need to get the software from Dubai and I have been waiting for that for a month now and still nothing. Very bad car, extremely bad service and dealing with the Audi people is like dealing with crooked con experts. My car is by the way only at 40000 Km and I hate it already so much. My advice to all: DO NOT EVEN THINK OF BUYING AN AUDI.

For many months I’ve had issues with the Audi website. Trying to pay my car payment online is a hassle and becomes a giant waste of time each month. The online financial services portal on their website always has issues and makes it impossible to make your payment online without calling customer service. When you try to get a hold of anyone through the phone whether it’s Audi or Audi Financial there’s an extremely long hold time, and if you take advantage of the “call back” option they have you may be able to get a call back days or even weeks later in some of my personal experiences. As I’m writing this review this issue still has not been resolved. If you are looking to finance your vehicle through Audi Financial, or care about having a good customer service experience I would highly suggest you rethink choosing Audi. So far I have enjoyed my vehicle and haven’t had any issues as a first time Audi owner, but this customer service experience will definitely be a huge part of any future decision I may make about purchasing a vehicle through Audi. Customer service and online ease of use go hand in hand with a quality vehicle, especially when it’s a luxury brand.

My daughter had a massive failure of her 2012 Audi Q5. Audi of America and Audi of Beaverton provided a level of service which was nowhere near Audi professions of excellence. Past positive experiences were outweighed by Audis overwhelming unwillingness to acknowledge its problem. Audi Beaverton tried to address the problem, but, without consensus of Audi USA, was limited in what it could offer. Furthermore, Audi Beaverton gave conflicting information to us and Audi USA. In effect, Audi USA claimed that Audi Beaverton blamed my daughter, and Audi Beaverton said that Audi USA wouldnt address the problem.

The models that Audi sells are good for driving and make everyone happy especially me. Anyone who needs a car should buy it. I love my car and it is the best ever. It is so fun to drive. I think I would never ever want to give it up for anything at all. The appearance of this car is very good. It has just enough roundness that anyone would like but has enough electronics inside the car that anyone who is technological will love it. You can have any kind of upgrades you want. If you want wifi in your car you can have it. If you want fancy tires you can have it. Heated seats yep thats featured too. Its really the Shangri-La of car dealers. The capacity is good. You can put as many people in your car that you can safely fit. The back seats fold down so you can put bigger items in your car. There is plenty of leg room and room for all your items.

2012 Audi S4 with NGY transmission (TSB issued by Audi). Vehicle has 69,000 miles. Driving in morning traffic and vehicle stops accelerating and all electronics go dead. Sitting in the middle of the freeway trying to get vehicle functioning. Restart it and vehicle flashes gearbox malfunction and stops accelerating about every mile. Not a fun experience on an LA freeway. Audi dealer says it needs a new transmission for $12,000. After the third call to Audi USA and being read the same canned speech the person tells me that it’s my problem and Audi will do nothing to help fix the car. I ask to speak to a manager and I’m told they do not participate in customer direct communications and they will not change the final decision. My conclusion is that Audi could care less about their customers and their cars are just plain junk. They look and drive nice but are complete electronic and mechanical disasters. This car and my 2012 A6 will be traded in and Audi can plan on me. Doing everything I can to spread the word about their poor customer service and poor quality.

I have a 2004 Audi A8 with 98,000 miles and the transmission died. Other much cheaper cars go for much more than this mileage before they encounter a transmission failure. Audi wants $10,000 to replace the transmission, effectively forcing me to junk the car at this point. The attitude at customer service at Audi USA is essentially tough luck. I think a premium vehicle such as this one, should have more accountability from the manufacturer and it cannot be normal for the transmission to go at 98,000 miles especially when the maintenance has been done by the book all along.

I have a 2014 Audi Q5 and recently for no reason whatsoever, the power steering failed and nearly caused an accident. I mentioned it to my local Audi service department and had them look at it while it was in for 3 other recalls. They agreed that the power steering was not responding and it would have to be replaced. I explained to them that the car is barely driven and has never been in an accident. And I find it unacceptable that a car company that has built a reputation on handling and drivability would have a complete steering failure at 40k miles which they informed me is just out of warranty. I was told at my local Audi dealership that It would have to be paid for out of pocket so I called Audi customer support. This was over 2 weeks ago and since then I have gotten no clear information on the issue. I have been through 3 customer service reps and they have changed stories multiple times. The second to last time they informed me that there was a program that the local Audi dealership has to help in situations like this. So I went back to Audi only to find out that they have no such program and they werent even told about this from the customer service rep. I was supposed to receive an answer almost a week ago and it keeps getting pushed off. At this point I still can not drive the car or else risk getting into a serious accident. I also want to point out that I did research and found out that the SQ5 version of this Audi has a recall on the same issue. I further researched it thinking that the steering system was different only to find out it is the same part number. This is clearly a defect and Audi should be responsible for fixing it. I cant even get a clear answer as to what it would cost since the dealership has changed the price on me multiple times. At this point the car cant be driven and I dont see why I would need to spend up to $3,500 to replace the entire power steering rack on a car with low miles that has been well taken care of. I also dont trust the service department at my local Audi since they informed me that my brakes and rotors need to be changed yet I just had them done about 1,500 miles ago. I am at a loss with Audi and just want the steering replaced so I can safely trade this in on a different brand vehicle or sell it out right. I dont feel safe driving it and I wouldnt want to sell it to someone else as is. If this car is driven it will cause a severe accident.

A few weeks after I was sold a car from TNT Auto Sales in Lugoff, I started having issues with the car. The car was not holding water and would overheat numerous times throughout the day. I took it back to the dealer to have it checked and I was told to wait and they couldnt do anything. I was told not to leave the car on the lot as well so I had to keep driving it. I called, texted, and went to the dealer almost everyday or every other day about the car. Nothing was done and finally the car broke down on me and will not crank or anything anymore. I told the dealer what happened. Nothing was still done. I didnt even get to make my second car payment before the car broke down on me. Now, I am stuck with a car that I just purchased that is not drivable and a car payment still. I have been financed 3 Audi A3s and previously have upgraded and re-financed but when my renewal came up on my 3rd I decided to pay it off & keep the car - I had no confidence in the staff & was not comfortable using them again. This is a shame as in the past theyve always been great - I dont know what theyve changed but now they are atrocious! Sales staff either have no knowledge or are not allowed to work out figures. My appointment to discuss refinance/upgrade options was booked by Audi with a sales rep. but every time we needed a figure he had to go to the manager for 10-15 mins and then come back to us to repeat what the manager had said!! I asked for a monthly figure on a particular car if I didnt pay a deposit & when I said I couldnt afford the figure his response was Its only 20 a month more than you told me you could afford, cant you find that?!!What a disgraceful thing to say to a customer, if he thinks an individual can find it, then surely an international company can work a deal so THEY find it! A few days later I called & asked if they could re-quote if I were able to pay a small deposit (if I sold mine privately and used the sale money to pay deposit), and was given EXACTLY THE SAME MONTHLY PAYMENT FIGURE as when I wasnt paying a deposit!! When I questioned this the salesman blamed me as he said I took the print out of his original quote so he no longer knew what that was!! Overall he showed no interest in looking after an existing customer & getting them to continue doing business with Audi, he had no idea what information he had previously given and left me feeling that I couldnt trust him or Audi as a company. Ive always loved Audis but Im very sad to say that based on this experience I will not use them again.

In winter 2016 I have bought brand new 2017 Audi A4 Premium Plus for 47k. It was this new version with cool digital gauges and new technology. It was rather exciting. I was thinking at the time that this small luxury sedan was worth the money. Then in December 2020, I got the message that my car doesnt support any more Google maps and from December 31 will stop working. Really after 3 years my car is obsolete and exciting feature that I have chose this car for is no longer available. I have contacted dealerships right away to see if I can upgrade my car, but answer was no, and I should probably get a new or newer Audi in order to have that ability. So 4 years after I cough up 47k for this Audi and planning to keep it in the family for longer, this car lost one of features that was their top selling point. I had a numbers of Audi cars so far in my life A4, A6, Q5 and Q7. I can tell you one thing. I will never ever again buy a Audi. It is like throwing away you money for something that will be obsolete in 3-4 years. Really sad from company that I had a the time on top for my vehicle needs.

Appearance is the one thing Audi has absolutely perfected. The features regarding interior and driving additions were extremely luxurious. Even more so than any other German car Ive ever driven. My car was very pimped. Also, it held four passengers just fine. However five was a bit too cramped and the back seat did not seem to have much leg room. Back in 2017, car had EPC light illuminated, would lose power while driving, would idle roughly and then not turn on. Had it towed to Audi Honolulu. Found electrical wiring burning through to the gas tank (couldve blown up) and so they replaced the gas tank and the wiring at their goodwill more like to save a lawsuit. Anyways April 2019 now, same issues with EPC light, idling and losing power then it not turning it on. Got it towed to Audi El Paso. Apparently, cylinder 1 and 2 in the engine are at 0 psi compression and we need a new engine.Mind you every service has been done at an Audi dealership and its only got 60,000 miles on it. Told they wont be covering any costs and told by Henry at Audi El Paso he wont even provide a loaner vehicle unless we agree to pay $10-13k for a new engine. What a joke. My thing is why wasnt this issue found in 2017 when the car had the exact same issues? Its their job to fix the car right. I am going to be taking my claim further until I get results. Googling the same car and I see so many people with the same issues. When will Audi take customers seriously? Makes you wonder how many Audis are a safety hazard driving around and could blow up any second. My families safety comes first and it should come first for Audi too.

I would love to share my THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Of buying the car! I bought a new AUDI Q3 2018 from Audi North Miami Beach! A month ago! I always wanted Audi and was focused on that model for a long time before. So finally I collected my last funds and went to the Dealership! First and foremost from the minute I came to the dealership my experience was completely disappointed! First of all the personnel are non-educated and absolutely lost in knowing their product at all! But the most horrible was that in 3 weeks after buying the car I went to pick up my registration sticker to the Dealer. I parked my brand new car Q3 in the parking spot of the Dealer. In 15 minutes after when I came picked it up and got back to the car I was sooo negative surprised that my amazing brand new car was crashed! Right on the Audi parking spot! Of course I was claimed that fact... They tried to cover that fact! I was remembering that and the next day after I called Dealership and let them know that my car was crushed on their territory! Manager was completely indifferent of helping me to solve that issue! He was aggressive and try to defend himself. Now that car will be in the Carfax! And not by my fault at all! I hope I can prevent many people. Do not have any BUSINESS with awful!!! Dealership in the world ever! I would NEVER EVER!!! RECOMMEND NO ONE TO BUY THE CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! BE AWARE PEOPLE!

I own a 2004, Audi S4, which I purchased used from my brother, who bought it new. I bought this car from him with 45,000 miles on it. At 55,000 miles, the car had catastrophic engine failure, 5,000 miles over the warranty period! The mechanic that is repairing the damage said if one more component would have broke, it could have caused me to lose control of the vehicle and crash. The engine and transmission had to be removed from the vehicle to be repaired. The engine blew a valve and it went through the engine like a bullet. I contacted Audi of USA to: 1.) alert them of this problem and possible safety issue; 2.) Because the car is only 5,000 miles over the warranty and it had such massive failure, I believe its only reasonable to ask for some help in the cost of repairs. The repair cost are going to be between $25,000; 3.) I work in quality assurance for a company and I really wanted to speak with their quality assurance and alert them to this big problem. It is crucial they (Audi) understand the problem. The reps at Audi of USA that I spoke with would not help (except to listen, they are good at that), and were not cooperating with me in the process of trying desperately to alert their quality people of this failure that occurred to my car. I believe I was completely ignored and I need to find out how I can effectively report this, not only to Audi but also other people who own the same vehicle. This is a major issue that needs to be made public. Thank you.

I have had the 2002 A4 Audi since 2007. I bought a certified pre-owned Audi. I have had issues from the beginning. I have had several repairs related to the engine, spark plugs, fuel lines, alternator, etc. In 2009, basically, I had a new engine. I had moved to NJ and did much less driving than before, but that did not stop the issues. Recently, (10/31/2011) I brought the car in for service where the service people charged me over $1000.00 and they said that the car was in good shape and did not need to come back in for another year. Basically, my car sits in one spot, M-F, I drive on the weekends to run errands, no more than a 20 mile radius from where I live. In January, I have been driving to different places for interviews and looking at houses, stuff like that. All within a 200 mile radius. On 1/19/2012, I was driving on I-80 to an interview, I was 23.8 miles from my destination, when I heard a pop, the check engine light came on, and smoke was coming from my hood. When I got to the dealership, they brought out pieces of my transmission. It will now cost approximately $8000-10,000 to fix the transmission.

I have a 2005 Audi A6 3.2. It has 102,000 mi. I jumped in the car to go to work and it would not start. Turned the key, steering was locked, gear shifter was locked, only the MMI was working. Had it towed to the Audi dealer and they told me the ignition switch was bad. $881 later and $375 for the tow, I was back running. 3 weeks to the day after, the same thing happened. Same symptoms. Towed back to the dealer and now its the Access Control Module. This means the whole steering column needs to be replaced. Quoted $1700 plus another $375 tow.Heres the good stuff now: prior to sending the car the first time to Audi, I did my research. There is thousands of Audi owner complaints about the same problem with the same symptoms. I told the service guy this and he told me they would check it out. They assured me it was the key switch which was not letting the key communicate with the steering column module. Now this time it is diagnosed with what thousands other have felt with. Audi USA is just telling me to suck it up. They know there was a problem when back in 2009 when they released TSB related to the exact problem. The fix was to replace with a newer updated Steering Column Module.Audi will not help me at all. $50,000 car and they dont stand behind it. Toyota stepped up a few times and did the right thing. It cost them some money but they gained many more new customers. Everybody do yourself a favor and dont buy an Audi. They dont care about the customer, only themselves. Its evident, they knew about a problem and are doing nothing about it. Like back in 2011, they knew about CVT transmission problems. But a federal judge ruled that Audi tried to conceal it from customers. Please dont make the same mistake I did.

A4, A5, A6 models. This is a luxury sedan wth lots of great features and an upscale interior to match the beautiful exterior. It drives smoothly, and is very low maintenance... There is no need for frequent repairs and no major issues to worry about. The Audi A4 is an upscale sedan with a beautiful, sleek exterior, and a well-designed interior that makes the cabin surprisingly spacious for a car its size. Theres no lack of attention to detail given to the interior cabin, with its wood and leather finishes. This sedan, though it appears to be a smaller sedan, is surprisingly spacious. The interior cabin comfortably seats five passengers, and even those who are taller still have enough leg room to move around in. Even though the car comes loaded with many features that would be upgrades on other brands, the Audi A4 offers its buyers a variety of options for personalizing and upgrading their vehicle, such as engine power, sunroof, and interior finishes.

Is Audi building a few or more lemons and attempting to outrun their flawed
Is Audi building a few or more lemons and attempting to outrun their flawed automobiles with marketing dollars and by sweeping the (hopefully few) flawed machines under the rug? A search of these Audi forums disclose a number of late model A8L vehicles with similar problems and a lack of any candid acknowledgement by Audi that they intend to stand behind their product and make good on their promises and warranties.Apparently, Audi America is instead intimidating dealers, directing them to not touch the car or refusing to pay them for warranty repairs unless they buy into the deceit that is part of the game of concealing rather than admitting and resolving these recurring problems. I suspect that these problems may result from there being two classes of vehicles coming of the A8 assembly lines in Neckarsulm, Germany. The vehicles sold to Diplomats and dignitaries, limousine services, top Audi executives and engineers may receive vehicles built when the assembly line may move at one (slower) speed or the more awake shift employees, and the rest of us, well, we get a mixed collection of manufacturing oversights and defects, hopefully not too many in any one vehicle.I suspect there is also a schism between the engineers, mechanics and the bean counters as the integrity of the engineers and mechanics would almost certainly be willing to admit and resolve these nagging problems. What appears to have happened unfortunately is that the manipulator/managers have decided they can disguise the flaws, claiming as designed and suppress any information which would cause buyers to think twice before buying into a flawed brand.A specific issue here is a new vehicle purchased from Audi of Fairfield, in Connecticut last summer under the Audi European Delivery Program, delivered at the Ingolstadt, Germany factory in June, 2012 and subsequently driven around Europe and shipped to the USA and Connecticut. The vehicle was delivered in the USA in November 2012 at Fairfield, Connecticut.Repair requests have been made in Berlin, Amsterdam, Fairfield and in Vermont. As of the beginning of February 2013, Audi of America has now directed that two different Audi dealers not service or touch the car to implement any of the needed repairs. Audi of America appears to be gaming the Lemon Law system of requirements where a car has to be documented for three or four visits to the dealer to attempt repairs prior to invoking a state Lemon Law. This might also explain why several dealers in Europe had serviced the car and were requested in writing to address some of these issues, yet nothing was documented which would satisfy the lemon law requirements. Dirty pool!In summary: Seat sensor - airbag deactivation, outside mirror heat not working, tranny hard downshift when slowing, radio station refresh, cell phone loss of pairing - persistent, console rattle, door close/locks malfunction when cold, clunk (repeatable) on acceleration from stop, MMI system fails to play .wav and .flac files, interior headliner lights flicker, front suspension rattles on rough road, and intermittent seat belt warnings failure.Issues identified in detail:The front passenger seat disables airbag protection intermittently when 115-pound person is seated. It is a recurring issue since June. A mysterious knock/clunk behind the dash is evident on every acceleration from a complete stop. Probably caused by the motor mount or strut tower yet, buried deep behind the engine. It is a recurring issue since June.Since the transmission program changed in September, prior to US delivery, there is a hard downshift when slowing and when engaging reverse on a hill. It is worse than the original programming yet CT dealer and Audi America refuse to document what software version was installed at European delivery and what change was made in Connecticut after arrival in USA. It is a recurring issue since November. The central touch locking fails when weather is cold repeatedly during December and January. It is a recurring issue since November. Radio stations on MMI do not refresh when traveling from city to city, requiring changing to frequency mode selection and then dialing across the entire band to locate a station. It is a recurring issue since November.Bluetooth pairing with cell phone fails intermittently approximately 50% of the time, despite having replaced phone with an older model, for one on the Audi approved list. One cannot re-attempt pairing while driving due to safety interlock. It is a recurring issue since November despite software upgrade, which seems to be the catchall phrase without actually documenting what issues are designed to be fixed by each upgrade as is common practice in the computer, photo and network hardware industry. The MMI system fails to play .wav and .flac files despite assurances by the salesman that this functionality was part of the MMI as it was in a prior documented software versions. It makes no sense whatsoever to pay for a premium B&O sound system only to discover that the system only plays MP3 and other compressed files. Audi America staff went to the extreme to ask the salesman to search his email history for a paper trail of the (verbal) assurances and then had the salesman mysteriously forget and now denies having ever made such assurances. Dirty pool indeed.Other issues identified are: outside mirrors heating fails to melt ice or clear fog, persistent vibration / rattle in center console dashboard, interior headliner side lights flicker when set to dimmest level, front (left?) control arm(s) or strut rattles on rough road surfaces, car whoops when driving over any bump or speed bump after start - diminished after warm-up, and seat belt reminder warning sounds only work intermittently. All in all, the vehicle incorporates very impressive and even amazing design and engineering. The sad and inexcusable disappointment is the stance taken by Audi of America in their efforts to hide, disguise, deny and then frustrate repair attempts. Brad **, to be specific, is preventing this lemon from coming to the attention of CEO Keogh. This is so contrary to the fine tradition and integrity of the AUDI brand that some heads should certainly roll.[more about the numerous European Delivery Program fiasco to follow]

My experience with my 2013 Audi A6 Quattro has been a nightmare. I have had to replace the turbo, water pump and thermostat at 61000 miles, my cooling fans keep coming on I take it to the mechanic and they are turned off then a month or two later the fans are back on again, the mechanic said he can find out why the fans keep coming on, I replaced the cooling fans two weeks ago. Now today I pull up in my driveway and the fans are back on again, I have spent over $5000 trying to keep this car running and it only has 78000 miles on this car, I will never purchase another Audi car, they are horrible cars.
