I’ve purchased a used 2005 Acura TL with 69K miles on it. At 96K miles the transmission blew out, it was a $4000 bill to rebuild the transmission. My AC compressor had to be changed. The tension pulley had to be changed. The battery dies if the car is not turned on daily or in cold winter months (I live in Houston, we don’t have severe weather). It has a new battery and the alternator is just fine, we never could establish what the battery issues were. The car will lock you out since it automatically locks, the mirrors shift while driving. The dashboard has cracks. I happily sold the car to a junkyard for $500, I just couldn’t wait to get rid of it. I maintain my cars regularly and only put less than 20 miles a day on it. I didn’t expect all these issues with less than 100k miles on it. Never getting an Acura again.

As an owner of an Acura MDX I must express my sincere disappointment with the companys customer service (or lack thereof). The dealer from whom I bought my car lost its contract with Acura. (This can happen.) Acura has never contacted me to advise as to where I should take the vehicle for warranty work. The nearest Acura dealer is a 2 hour (one way) drive for me, but an certified Honda dealer is only 10 minutes away.Acura now sends me a recall notice informing me a bolt needs to be replaced. The Honda dealer tells me they can do the work, but it will be covered by Acura only with prior authorization. Acura denies authorization and will require me to undertake a 4 hour trip to effect this recall. Oh and it took Acura 4 weeks and multiple calls on my part to decide my request to deal with the Honda dealer would be denied. Never once did Acura return my call. Oh. Acura did send me a letter to wish me a Happy Anniversary in recognition of my Acura Ownership. Based upon their lack of caring, and lack of responsiveness, I would never purchase another Acura!

I have the Acura TL model, which is a sedan. Theres an Acura MDX which is the sport utility vehicle and also the Acura LX which is the full sedan. This car is so sporty and cute! Its definitely an eye catcher! It is mid size but has plenty of room! Its interior is cozy yet roomy! It has a navigation system if recommended and the style is superb! On the Acura TL you can add a rear spoiler which gives it more of a sporty look. Also you can add a navigation system with satellite radio available along with roadside help availability! The passenger capacity is suffice! There is plenty of leg room whether your short or tall, small or big! Your seats are also adjustable so however your comfortable, this car makes it easy!

I own a 03 TL. I purchased it used back in 2006 with less than 42,000 miles on it. About 7 months later, I had issues with car skipping gears. Took it to the dealership and was told I needed to get my PCM, 2 engine mounts, and transmission replaced. At this time, I had only 53,800+ miles. Had I not bought the extended warranty, I would have had to pay for the PCM and engine mounts to be replaced. Now fast forward the 2014, check engine light is on as well as TCS. Had various places check it out and they told me it appears to be a transmission problem/torque converter clutch solenoid issue and to have the dealer check it out. I was hoping that it wasnt that. They tell me my transmission is pretty much shot. Im like, seriously? Im just now getting over 173,300 miles and my 2nd tranny has failed? Very disappointed. Acura knew about these problems and they should be held responsible for this. People cant afford to replace things like that every 100k miles or so. That should not happen. Needless to say, I will not be owning another Acura.

Leather seats, heated seats, GPS, moon roof, 6 disc player, power windows, power locks, automatic and manual 6 cylinder, rides smooth, radio sounds really good and loud. Acura is generally a good looking car and it gets a lot of compliments and its not that bad in the snow. The passenger capacity holds about the driver which is 1 and then the passenger up front is 1 then the back holds at least three people so the car holds about five people.

My wife and I bought a Certified Pre-Owned Acura from Acura of Ocean. We should have bought a Certified Piece of ** thats what we got. We have the same issue that so many other Acura Users have with the mysteriously battery. It’s amazing the common thread and no laws have been broken or a recall issued. What does this need to be insured and licensed like mortgages through the government? Is that the only way to keep organizations honest? Acura you have a common theme here you pushing luxury pieces of junk. Dont buy Acura. You want a luxury car? Buy a Mercedes. Buy Toyota. You will enjoy more luxury.

Please be accurate with my statement? Absolutely. I purchased a 2005 Acura Rl, 4 recalls, the FAKE leather after 3 years had peeled and separated on the seats, arm rests on a $45,000 vehicle! The plastic door handles have broken causing for the whole door rest to be required to be replaced just to fix the handles. The cd radio hasnt worked since 2006. I also have a 2009 Acura rdx which also the radio doesnt work, just laughable $35,000 vehicle. You hear everything going on inside and outside of it, from screws to air. You hear it all. Im so done with Acura. My feelings were already hurt when they took the Legend name plate away in the USA. I am so, so disappointed and Lexus will be my new friend.

I bought a 2008 MDX new and have had battery problems since the first year. It has died on us so many times that Ive bought a charger that we keep in the back to jump it since it happens so often at any place such as the airport, work, or at home. Ive taken it to Acura twice. They say it checks out fine and wouldnt replace the battery for me so I bought a new one. It did slightly better for a short time - two weeks. Then it started dying again. We always leave the dome lights off but if you dont drive it for a few days, or listen to the radio for an hour with the car not running the battery will die. Something is draining the system but the Acura service department while nice seems to be in denial of a problem that is rather common with their vehicles. The nearest dealer to us is 45 minutes away so dropping it off all the time is an inconvenience.Weve had problems with the stereo. We are on our third new head unit, and several different memory setting problems that were covered under the warranty. I was ready to get rid of it after the second year. It is my wifes first new vehicle and she wanted to keep it for at least 10 but I’m hoping to talk her into getting rid of it this next week. The MDX has a nice quiet smooth ride but everything else weve dealt with leaves me to advise you to buy a Lexus, Audi, Volvo, etc. We were going to give this MDX to my father-in-law when we got a new vehicle but I wouldnt want him to be stranded with a dead battery or deal with more issues Ive been reading about in the forums. Our MDX only has 59,000 miles.

My Acura MDX drives very smooth and has excellent gas mileage. It has wonderful features which assists in driving. The seats are super comfortable and have warmers or coolers in them. It has a great entertainment package which is great for my backseat passengers. It has great sound and I was worried I would have to replace the factory speakers, but it works and sounds great. But I wish there were more functions on the steering wheel to control everything, including volume, bluetooth functions, etc. The power windows could be a little faster when going down or up too.

Do not try to purchase a vehicle from this Dealership…. Very shady, unethical business practices!!!! I came in to purchase a vehicle for my daughter. Found her dream vehicle, took it for a test drive, made an offer on it, they accepted the offer, gave them a down payment of $1000, as per their request, received a fully executed purchase agreement signed off by David ** (Finance Mgr). My daughter wanted to finance it on her own in which they tried to get for her. After a few days I said forget it. I will just pay cash for the vehicle. I asked if I could come pick on Friday. They pushed me off until Monday. When I called on Monday they said, Let’s try for Tuesday. On Tuesday I received a call from the salesperson, who stated, oops they sold the vehicle to somebody else. How can they sell the vehicle to somebody else when I had a purchase agreement, money down on it…I immediately called the general manager, John ** and left several voicemail and written messages for him, three days in a row… Not even a courtesy call back. They still have my $1000 downpayment… Also they tried to sell me a car with 15,000 more miles on it in horrible condition, different color... Saying it would be an even trade. Not even close. Stay as far away from this place as you can. There are other reputable Acura dealers that are so much more professional and ethical and do the right things for their customers. I will be putting in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as also writing a letter to the corporate office of Acura/Honda to express my opinion and our Attorney may be getting involved to seek legal recourse… I do not understand how in this day and age something like this could have happened… Nobody had an excuse for it. They just said the vehicle was sold…. Stay away!!!

I have been giving business to Acura since 2010 and I bought one TL, leased TL/RLX. You could say that I was a loyal Acura customer. Least as I had expected, Acura stole my money and screws me up. When I was leasing the 2014 RXL I signed out auto-payment via my checking account; for fear of continuing charges from my checking account. I asked my bank (Citibank) to stop the auto payment in November, 2015 and I had been sending checks every month since until I traded the 2014 RXL to 2016 RLX in May, 2016 in Acura of Westchester and as usual, the dealer pays off the remain value and I signed a new lease with Westchester Acura. So I thought, and you will think as well, that the 2014 RLX car is left behind me. Lo and behold, in July 2018, I received a letter both from Acura Financial services and collection agency charging me $1651.98. When I first called Acura Financial service, a man with British accent told me that I did not pay the last month payment (which is strange, even it were true that I did not pay the last payment, it would only be $825.99, not $1651.98). When I called them back again from my vocation on 07/31/18, Acura financial told me a totally different story -- Because Acura overcharged me 3 months (twice of $825.99), I called my bank and the bank reversed the overcharge. Now Acura wants me to pay extra money, when in fact that the dealer had already bought off the older car and I am under new lease over 2 years! Acura had overcharged me more than 3 months and only month even charged me 3 TIMES! That is stealing because by contract, I only authorized Acura to charge me once a month! Not only that Acura lying to me by saying that they had been trying to contact me during the past 2 years, which is the biggest lie in the world -- because I have never received any mail/call regarding the 2014 RLX until July, 2018 and I have been paying the monthly payment of the 2016 RLX every month. I called Westchester Acura and spoke with the General Manager who was angry as well and states that he will contact Acura Financial Services in the morning. Regardless what outcome it will be, I have lost trust and confidence towards Acura and would like to share this experience with you guys, especially the potential buyers -- stay away from Acura unless you want to be screwed up and potentially have your credit scores affected negatively and being bullied and discriminated like this! I plan to go to court if this matter is not resolved. Watch out giving business to Acura! Watch your wallet because Acura may steal from you like what they did to me!

I purchased my MDX slightly used off dealer lot, it had about 6,000 miles. I have loved many things about the vehicle, however recently (once I had paid it off and warranty expired) my battery has died 4 times. Had alternator replaced around $700 min. Had new battery installed, but still died again. Now my navigation system says it is reconfiguring and if it isnt working in 10 minutes to take to dealer. Well, I cant afford to just run down to Acura every time there is an issue! The last time I brought it in, when I went to p/u my car wouldnt start! The side board was hanging off and remote key wouldnt work! They never offer loaner vehicles and overcharge everything. Now I have no navi. My check oil light is constantly coming on (oil is fine) and my key gets stuck in ignition!

The vehicle was state of the art without being pretentious. We are not status symbol types and just wanted a quality car at a good price. It had sporty appearance which fit our personalities. Dealership totaled my car while in for repair and tried to hide it, they tried to pay me off not to leave reviews. 9/5/17 I received a call from the service department saying my car was involved in an incident at the shop that they had found that morning. I was told that they were unsure the extent of the damage at that time. I sent my mom down to get important papers out of my glove box as I was unable to get there. When she arrived, she found someone still working on the car and she opened the glove box to it full of water rushing out like a fish tank being dumped over. The next day I went down to the dealership to see my car myself and speak to management. We met with George who promised to bend over backwards to help me.I was continually pushed aside and treated like I was a nuisance. Once their insurance finally claimed it a total loss (over a week later) I then was left to do all the work, I had to fight for 104 days to get my car paid off. This was daily calls and emails and hundreds of hours of work. When it came time to get me into a new vehicle I was shuttled back and forth between salesmen (who were all friendly but couldnt help) and the 2012 that was comparable to my MDX was sold before I could get there to see it the next morning. I was hopeful theyd cut me a great deal on a replacement vehicle for all Id been through but alas all I got was a lousy $1000 off the price (something anyone could haggle down) and still paid over blue book, and 15% off floor mats and I had to pay for moldings to be put on to cover all the scratches on the passenger side. To get the $1000 off I had to fight for $250 of it and was told by Gene **, Fine if its a fight over $250 Ill do it just to get you done and out of here. He was incredibly rude to me and honestly I shouldnt have proceeded with the purchase of the new car especially since the only viable option was a 2015 MDX that now costs me an extra $150 per month and I had to start payments all over again.Once my car was paid I reached out to the dealership to try to work out some compensation for my time and losses like new tags, paying double insurance while I fought to get my car paid off, and interest accrued during that time. I sent a certified letter to George, and Gene called me in return, I asked to hear from George who refused to contact me and I never heard from again. I then put a complaint in with the BBB because I was receiving no response. George blank told the BBB they bent over backwards to help me and there was nothing more they could do.I then contacted Acura corporate directly (who were wonderful by the way) and they couldnt believe how I had been treated and they tried to help me. They arranged a call with the dealership which was between me, Acura and Gene. Gene again was not very friendly in his tone and took no responsibility for what had happened. His apology is, We are sorry this happened, and that WEVE had to deal with this. He finally offered me some compensation for my loses. $1000 with the stipulation that I leave no negative reviews and do not discuss the dealership negatively. And 3 years free oil changes (no way would I bring my car back to them).I refused his offer because I believe people need to know that while I was fighting the insurance I found out from their own tech and from their incident report I had to collect, MY CAR WAS ACTUALLY TOTALED 4 DAYS PRIOR TO THEM CONTACTING ME AND THEY TRIED TO HIDE IT!! Ive collected thorough documentation on all the events that occurred, and it is now my mission to warn people about this dealerships poor business practices. There are good people that work there that if they could have would have helped me more; these people are Bob **, Chris ** and Matt in sales.

I had purchased my $55,000 Acura RL from King just a couple of years before the high-end GPS unit went belly-up. It just quit working! I took it to Kings service department and was told: You must have bumped the unit when you were putting something in the trunk. (Say Whaaat?!?) Thats customer damage and not covered by the warranty. Its going to cost you NINE HUNDRED BUCKS and take about six weeks to get a replacement from California. Please know, the unit showed NO SIGN of being bumped while I was ...putting something in the trunk but King Acura would not budge. Need I say, my RL will be remembered as my first and last foray into the sordid world of Acura.

I have a 2010 RDX that I bought certified pre-owned. Just had my first oil change. Price shocker... What oil change costs $200??? In looking at the bill, $147 is for labor. The service also included a tire rotation which still should not cost that much. In addition, I waited an 1 1/2 for the car. What oil change takes that long?? Performance: not the best off the mark but it handles well. Put some snow tires on and your good all winter. It drives not as smoothly as some higher end makes but certainly delivers a quality comfortable ride. I am current/original first owner of 2005 Acura TL. My car has dashboard cracked and airbag sign showed on screen. And Ive researched on web and found this is common issue/problem that many TL owners are experiencing. I recently went to Acura dealership for trade in my 05 TL for 2017 MDX and my vehicle appraised was $0.00. They said they couldnt buy it from me with dashboard cracked and sell it in their dealer. FYI my TL has about 148,000 miles and has good condition.I cannot believe Acura knows theres a problem with dashboard cracked on almost every TL they manufactured and not taking any action. What if theres airbag issue and not function it properly because of cracked dashboard? Is airbag going to function well? This is safety issue and Acura should make recall to check who has dashboard cracked. I dont think I am never going back to Acura again after experiencing this kind of bad service.

I purchased my first Acura TL in 2002 as a leased car and then I purchased it since I was such a satisfied customer. To my dismay, my car is slowly showing signs of oxidation on the hood, rear trunk and front hood. To my surprise, I have noticed other Acuras on the road that are about the same age as my car and they too are showing signs of erosion in the same areas. This appears to be a manufacture defect. I plan to create a blog or use my Twitter account just to get a mass response from the over-public who have Acuras if they too are experiencing this problem. Before I did the internet probe I wanted to first check with you to see if you have received complaints about erosion occurring on your cars. Im told that Honda has a growing problem with cars that rust/erode based on poor construction. My car trunk leaks into the area where my donut is stored since day one. Thanks you for your attention to this. The cost for a paint job is in the several thousands.

Got the car in July 4. To start it is a beautiful car but first day of having the car had to call because the rear cargo door every time it opened sound like a whale and the cooling on the seat was making noise. When I came back they tell me they have to leave the car because they need to order parts and the head liner has to come down in order to change the hinge. I talk to someone about getting a new car that was less than a week and they were like, You put miles on it, in which I replied, Of course I have to use it to go to work, otherwise I can’t pay the car, but they refused. Resolution on that was replacing the hinge and the seat. It was a plastic that was never removed and was making the noise. Now around September I start hearing noise from the brakes and took the car on October for oil change and ask them about it and they said there was a service bulletin to replaced the rotors because it is a known issue. Got rotors replaced and they still make noise. Call them about it and they tell me I have to deal with it until they come up with a fix because the service bulletin did not fix that issue and they are working on it. Now today is December 5 and the screen does not turn on then I try again and again and it finally came on but is stuck on the Acura disclaimer turn on and off the car and the screen now remains turn on on the disclaimer screen killing my battery. Called SPRINGFIELD ACURA again about it and they tell me again that they know about the issue and to disconnect the battery terminals for 15 minutes. First off I don’t have personal tools to do that. Second I am in warranty. If I touch it they will blame it on me. Apparently the engineers they have are not doing a good quality check on their work and for a luxury top brand of Honda like Acura very terrible service.

I asked what Acura was doing to correct the problem and was told nothing. I asked to talk to a supervisor and the lady I talked to would not connect me. My other car has the same type of system and works perfect in bad snow storms. This TLX 2015 with 3000 miles on it is not as good as our old 2001 or 2006. If I knew that this safety system had a problem I would of bought a different car. Who reads the owners manual before they buy a new car?

Similar to the other post on the Naperville dealership, Ive been a long time Honda/Acura owner with an 89 Prelude, 96 Prelude, 02 TL, 03 Pilot and 08 TL. This latest TL has been by far the worst. Right at the start, the passenger side A/C was not working and that is basically the only thing that was covered by warranty. The rear breaks wore out after 20k miles and when I took it in, I was told that it is a wearable item and they would charge me just to look at it. I have never had front brakes wear out after that short of a time period, much less, rear brakes. I have very little city driving. Find out why the back brakes are apparently locking up? No way, my problem. The latest problem deals with water leaking into the car. I took it into the dealership where they took a quick look and said I needed to schedule an appointment so they can spend more time on it. I scheduled the appointment and took it in. They spent half a day and could not find the problem. I just now took it in again to show them the problem as it was happening. They took a quick look and said they would have to run a diagnostic and charge me for it. Ridiculous. To show that it is not just the dealership, I called Acura (client relations, I believe) and their only comment was too bad, your fault for not spending your time going to other dealers, etc. because it is now out of warranty by a month (everyone delayed long enough I guess). After going round and round, I gave up and told her that this is ridiculous that Acura does not stand by their vehicles and this is the last Acura/Honda I will buy. Her only comment was that that is certainly my choice and I am welcome to do that. So anyone considering an Acura (owned by Honda), there you go. Buy their car and you are on your own.

Acura has pretty attractive and sporty models that run pretty well and not too costly. They have sleek bodies and good performance. Overall I am happy with the look and appearance of the vehicle. Upgrades are standard like other brands. The car can be nice to drive with no upgrades but if fully stocked it is a sweet ride. It has a roomy interior and overall comfy compared to other cars and other car brands, not the largest space but definitely enough for a person. Have not had any bad experiences with them. Definitely may recommend for friends shopping for a car.

The car parts are not too expensive if needs to buy for it. Plus the gas is not expensive, and only $35 will fill up the tank.

The power in the 2020 MDX Hybrid Advance is amazing, especially the torque at a start or moving onto a freeway. The Comfort Mode makes the ride smooth, but putting it into Sport mode and this car can move! The Expresso interior is beautiful and the interior is quiet. In fact, trying out other luxury SUVs, this MDX Hybrid is the most quiet. Great gas mileage. Only $1600 more for the Hybrid over the regular MDX Advance. Would recommend to anyone thinking of purchasing this car.

Just leased a 2019 Acura MDX Sport hybrid Technology. I am in love with it. The Active Damper suspension works amazing. Had a 2018 RDX Advance and the ride was not smooth at all. This MDX Hybrid just rides wonderful. I am getting 26MPG regularly, and I am not a light footed driver. While the infotainment is outdated - it sounds like it works better than the new system in the RDX. There needs to be LESS road noise Acura, and the interior dash and other surfaces need to be more luxurious, but overall this SUV is GREAT.

I bought my 2018 RDX and its just less than 2 years. The battery died and I replaced it with Autozone which is less than 300 yards from my stop. Now Acura manager at Torrance told me they do not reimburse me. The manager named Steve at Torrance location (he denied to provide me further info about him) said I should have taken my car to an Acura dealer for a battery replacement. I asked him how and he told me to tow the car there (15 miles away). And I have 2 important customers to meet in about 45 minutes.I explained to him about my situation that I can not cancel my customers. I can not use Uber to leave my car at that neighborhood. The manager named Steve is very impolite. He sounded like I dont care, whatever you say, I am not gonna pay you. At some point, hes kind of sound like he just won over some battle. This is just a battery and I had to go to this rough road. What if some other important part fail? What kind of drama will I (possibly you) have to go thru? I am glad that I was able to make meet my customers. But this Acura client service really irritates me. Acura Manager: Steve (not sure its real or fake, doesnt care much about my situation). Bought the Acura RL used with @30K miles. Had some factory warranty remaining plus I bought an extended warranty from Acura dealer and had car serviced regularly at that dealership. At @50K miles, the car developed a malodorous odor of burning oil, especially strong when parked in enclosed garage after having been driven. I suspected an oil leak dripping onto hot exhaust component and complained to dealership on each of three or four service visits while warranty was in effect. Dealership claimed they could not smell the odor or find any leak. On the next service visit AFTER the warranty expired, I complained again and dealership said the engines rear main oil seal was dripping onto exhaust causing odor and wanted @$1000 to fix it. Appealed all the way to Honda headquarters but was not able to get Honda to fix the problem which had been present and had been reported during warranty period. Leak has now reached the point to where it puddles on garage floor. In addition, on the same visit, dealership said front shocks were bad. Additionally, had five repeat problems with SRS system, and the fuel pump relay failed and stranded me at the grocery store with a car load of groceries. The car looks good and drives good, but it is unreliable, prone to breakdown and definitely not worth its cost.

I believe that a class action lawsuit against acura will have to be taken for them to fix this problem.

On June 8, 2012, I took my car into Acura of Milford, CT for an oil change and check the AC which was not working properly. All was done or so I thought to thetune of $304.52. I brought the car home and after a few days, my grandson, who is going to school for mechanics, said my car was leaking oil. He checked it out in my garage and found that the oil drain plug was stripped and that it did not tighten properly and needed replacing. This should have been caught by the mechanics at the Acura dealership. This cars previous owner always used the dealership when anything had to be done and I have followed in her footsteps taking the car to be serviced there also. I am indeed dissatisfied and will think about taking my car for an oil change next time I need it. On top of this, I was never told the oil drain plug was stripped. If I had been told, it could have been replaced.

Hoping someone might have some insight on this... I bought a TLX October 2015 and babied it. A few weeks ago my husband asked me what I hit, because he noticed spidering of the paint to the front bumper. I know that I didnt hit anything, but I figured sure, theres a chance someone hit my car. But the more I looked at it, it appears that theres a bubble in the paint, and then the spidering is stemming from that. The bizarre part is that the clear coat is flawless; not an imperfection or scratch. Wouldnt one think if something hit it enough to cause a bubble and spidering, then the clear coat (which took the impact) would be affected? I took it to the Bedford Acura where I purchased it. The mechanic looked at it and said it was probably from impact, its $275 to repaint that half of the bumper. The manager then looked at it and said I agree with you (myself), thats odd, if there was impact there should be damage to the clear coat. He took a picture and sent it to the regional sales rep and today I received a phone call back that they believe its from stress impact and its not covered in warranty. I know Im not paint or car specialist, but Im truly having a hard time accepting this, so hoped others might have insight... but Im very unhappy with the mixed opinions Ive had, and the instant rejection by the company. I will certainly be pursuing this further! Not sure if this factors in (I mentioned it at my most recent visit but they said it was totally unrelated), but December 2016 I came out to my car and noticed a silver plastic accent piece on that same side had just popped out from the bumper; the clips holding it in place were broken. Again, there was no surrounding damage, and no damage to the piece itself other than the inner clips having broken off. I took it in and they replaced that piece. Im now starting to wonder if theres something wrong with the whole bumper itself and thats whats causing all of these non-impact problems! And Im rather address it before it is out of warranty. Ugh.

Before I purchased my Acura, I had a VW Passat and although the VW ran good
Before I purchased my Acura, I had a VW Passat and although the VW ran good, the upkeep was ridiculous. I had to get breaks and it cost me 1200! The final straw was that the rear privacy screen was broke and would not retract. I hardly ever use it so I was mind blown as to how it would break on its own, even more mind blown when VW said that they couldn’t fix it, only replace for $600. After that, I traded that VW in and purchased my 2008 Acura TL. I have made that car for 11 Years and have never had any major issue, just the normal wear and tear stuff but as far as reliability, they can’t be beat! I was rear-ended a couple years back and ran into the car in front so I had both rear and front damage. Insurance totaled the car cause it cost more to fix than what it was worth. They paid me $8000 for it and I kid you not, it still runs. I got a new hood and had someone paint and it STILL runs without any issues, even after being totaled and now having over 150,000 miles! Since then, I have purchased at 2017 ACURA MDX and it’s awesome. Fully loaded with all the amenities for thousands less than what you’d get from BMW or Mercedes. You just can’t go wrong with Acura or Honda!

Our 2007 MDX was taken in for A/C evaluation. The A/C was repaired but then we were given a list of other items that needed attention: Drive Belt (glazing and cracking), Engine Coolant Dirty, Power Steering Leaking and required new pump, right front stabilizer Links needed replacing. Plus all fluids low and dirty including the transmission and brake fluid. After picking up the vehicle with just A/C service, I immediately drove it over to a reputable repair service that is AAA approved. The only item that would need to be replaced within the next 10K miles or so was the right front stabilizer Links. The mechanic showed us the power steering = no leak, the fluids = clean and full, and the drive belt was perfect. How do dealers get away with this?

I feel proud to drive it. Sometimes I just get in it and drive just for the pleasure it provides. It is leather on the inside and has a stylish sunroof. Also there are a lot of ways it can be personalized from top to bottom. It can come in several colors and personal choices. The tires can be upgraded along with the stereo system. There are lots of room with a total of five people. The belts and the seats are comfortable. It sits well and has lots of room upfront as well as in the rear.

I bought my Acura 1 year this past November. My front tires look like this!! I have been through 2 oil changes (One this past November) and tire rotation, only for Acura of Memphis not to mention anything about an alignment. I asked to speak with a service manager and the rep sent me to Doris ** (I knew she wasnt a manager), who made me feel really bad. She said its my fault that I didnt get an alignment. Im suppose to get it twice a year (who does that? Who knows that?) She also asked if I read the manual for the service codes??? NO! When service due comes up, I go to Acura of Memphis. I thought this was a one stop shop, but it looks like I have to turn into a mechanic! When I bought the car, I was told oh yeah, oil changes and tire rotations 2x a year. Well according to Doris, its suppose to be 2 oil changes, 2 alignments, air filters, etc. Sounds like $1000 for maintenance 2x a year. Im stuck after 1 year, 30k miles, buying two tires ($244 ea and alignment $99).After writing the post above on Facebook, the General Manager, Clifton **, called me very upset. He stated that I post incorrect information. He also stated that Doris was indeed a manager, in which the website stated that she was a service advisor. Per Mr. **, she was promoted 2 weeks or 2 months ago. Mr. ** clearly wasnt trying to resolve my problem, but was very argumentative. I told him multiple times that my problem clearly isnt a tire problem, but an alignment problem. He totally ignored me and started reading some script talking about what Acura does for their customers. His tone was very negative and I dont ever care to speak with him again. I am not sure why a General Manager would call a customer irate. I have replaced the two tires and got an alignment. No help to Acura of Memphis or the General Manager.

After doing a lot of research and test-driving Lexus, Mercedes, Subaru, Nissan and others, I finally bought an Acura-RDX and realized immediately after buying the car that the famous Honda Company/Acura suppressed the fact that this RDX didnt have trunk/hatch release key inside the car. Unless I go near the car with key in-hand and open the trunk door. I called Acura customer service and a guy told that Dont worry. We know that. Next year models will have the trunk release key inside the car. We cant do anything for you and he hung up. I was totally disappointed with this elusive answer. Why Honda deliberately suppressed this fact? Deceiving the customer is not good at all. I never buy any Honda car or Acura car. On March 22, 2014, I purchased a certified used 2012 Acura TL. I drove the vehicle on a long distance trip and I developed a headache and didnt associate it with the car at the time. When I arrived to my destination, I had a migraine headache. I continued to drive the car and more symptoms developed. I realized that it was something in the car which was causing the reaction (headaches, tingling/sensation on my lips which caused soreness and cracking/chapping, tightness in my chest and throat, irritation/tingling of my eyes and sensitivity of my gums and teeth and queasiness). I returned the car numerous times in order to clean the seat belts, remove the leather protector and deodorize the car. Unfortunately, the reactions persisted.I visited over 12 dealerships and all the cars that I drove caused a reaction. Some reactions were mild and others were severe. 2,500 miles were added to the odometer since I took possession of the car. The car was parked because I didnt want to continue to take Benadryl to prevent a physical allergic reaction every time I drove the car. I visited an allergist in order to find out why I was having a reaction to cars and was advised that the cause is formaldehyde. At this point, I was very concerned about my health. On 09/23/2014, I purchased a new 2013 Volvo S80. The Acura dealership agreed to buy the TL back for $25,000.00; which $5,301.30 was added to the purchase of the Volvo. Unfortunately, Im still having a reaction but it’s not as severe as the 2012 Acura TL. I took allergy and sinus medicine for two weeks after I purchased the Volvo which I thought would eliminate the reaction. From my understanding, that legally the dealership didnt have to buy the car back and the lemon law doesn’t apply to used vehicles. I tried to return the 2012 Acura TL a few weeks after I purchased the vehicle. What rights does a person have when a certified used car is purchased? I’m not sure if it will be feasible to seek legal advice since I dont have the vehicle any longer. If not, I would like consumers to know that it’s a proven fact that a person can have an allergic reaction to a car. This is a unique situation and Im not sure if there are other related cases, but I would like to be that person who takes this issue to the highest resources. I will provide all documents if needed.

In March 2014 my 2009 Acura TSX battery died after work while running errands. I have the Acura Care extended warranty and contacted roadside assistance to come give me a jump start. Acura Care was great. They made sure I was safe, and got someone to me in 20 minutes. The guy told me my battery terminals were corroded and my car may not start in the morning. Knowing I might need a jump again in the morning, I woke up early to see if my car would start. No such luck. I called Acura Care again to see if they could come jump me so I could drive it to a dealership. Apparently they have a 7 day rule where only one type of service can be utilized. I asked them to tow my car then. Tow truck guy refused to tow it and jumped it.Now gets to the meat and potatoes of my issue. I get to the dealer around 7:45 and tell the service guy Im having battery problems. He pops my hood, tests my battery and says Yep you will need to buy a new battery. I point to my battery and say It says right on it, in two spots, 100 month warranty. My car is obviously not 100 months old. He begins to tell me that the warranty only applies to batteries I purchased. Now Im getting angry. I tell him, I did purchase the battery, I purchased the battery when I purchased the car. He then tells me, The battery CAME with the car. I respond with, Listen, I bought the battery when I bought the car. I own the car. I bought the car, the rims, the seat, the engine, the fluids. I bought it, I bought ALL of it!!!!! Im now extremely angry and waving my hands. The service guy tells me to calm down so he can get his manager.Mike the service manager at Rick Case Acura of Fort Lauderdale tells me the same story as the service guy. That the two stickers on the battery mean if you replace your battery you get a 100-month warranty, but the warranty does not apply to batteries that came with the vehicle. They are under the 3 year/ 50,000 mile warranty. I tell him what Acura is doing is extremely deceiving. They are putting multiple stickers all over a battery claiming a 100k warranty, when it doesnt apply to me since I didnt buy a replacement battery. Acura should provide different batteries when the car is sold, than when it is replaced. He agrees, says it is the root of a lot of problems with customers and offers to comp the labor of replacing the battery (Thanks for the $25 comp for 2 minutes of service).I then mention my battery terminals are extremely corroded and I will need a new cable. You can get this cable and terminals at the auto store for $4. He agrees and says its cracked and will need to be replaced. I was now running late for work, and asked if someone could drop me off 15 minutes away. I head to work where a couple hours later I get even crazier news from Acura. I will also need to replace my battery harness, which is $400 and has to be special ordered. I am baffled. I knew I would need to replace a cable, but a harness? And a harness is $400???? The service guy tells me it is connected to the terminal cable and corroded all the way through. There is absolutely no work around, and I will need to purchase the battery and new harness to get my car up and running again. I remind him that I have Acura Care Extended 100,000 mile Warranty and to see if the harness is list. He calls back a few minutes later to tell me the harness is NOT part of the warranty. I tell him A harness sounds like it SHOULD be a sturdy item, that supports another item, and shouldnt break. Whats the problem here? He tells me the battery was leaking acid all down the harness and it is no longer usable. This all stems back to Acura and their ** DECEIVING, lack of customer service and living up to their promises. I had to shell out over $600 for a bad battery. A battery that lead me to believe it had a 10- month warranty. I will NEVER buy another Acura again. I loved my car until this incident and their lies, fraud and failure to live up to their advertisements came to light.

I have had a great experience with my Acura. I got it for a good deal and it has been reliable for over 5 years. I did have to get a new transmission, but if you take care of this car, it will run forever. I love my car and am so thankful I had such a great first car experience. I also like the heated seats and wonderful heat and AC. The car accelerates quickly and well, too. The transmission problems are really the only problem I have really had with this vehicle. But the car is otherwise very reliable and safe to drive. I have never felt in danger or like I did not get my moneys worth.

I have just recently purchased a new 2016 MDX and currently have 3100 miles on the vehicle. I have some major concerns in which I am very worried about. I just went to the local supermarket for a few minutes went back to my car and tried to start it up. The transmission seemed to be locked into place the brake was very hard and the car would not start. I tried to start the vehicle up three times and it would not move. Eventually I called my husband and he came down, got into the vehicle and it started. Yet when I reached my home the event started again. Also the transmission seems to be jolting as if it is going in and out of gear. Another concern is that when it is cold sometimes when I turn the wheel to the left, it is as if there is not enough fluid where it is very rough. I had a CRV before this vehicle with 90 000 miles and I never had an ounce of a problem. Yet I have owned Mercedes vehicles and Audis and I thought they were problems. I hope this MDX does not top the German cars.

Acura of Memphis service department. I took my brand new car in for an oil change. My Acura RDX had no problems when it went in. When I got the car back from the service department, I left the service department and once I got on the road and hit the brakes the car’s brakes something underneath makes a hard click. I recognize this tactic from the days when dealerships service departments would service your car and when you drove away something else would happen and you would need service for the problem. I plan to take it to my honest mechanic and ask him to evaluate the problem.

I drive an Acura MDX 2016, great car, and we are a family of Acura obsession. I met with an accident the first week of August 2021 and today it is December 9th, 2021. My car is at the body shop to date since Acura failed to supply the parts for repair (every time the date gets pushed for another month). I have called Acura customer support asking to speak to a supervisor for the past four months. Every time, I was told they were too busy or unavailable (are they unavailable or cowardly behavior by refusing the answer escalated concerns?). Requested for a follow-up phone call NOT an email. However, all I received was scripted generic mail for every call I made. Finally, today spoke to the supervisor, explained all the detail and all I hear is sorry. Now, I have paid over $9000 on rental. The only solution I have received is sorry from Acura. I would refer to Acuras supervisor’s customer service as a meaning of worst customer experience in the dictionary.

We purchased a new Bellanova White 2015 Acura TLX in June. We noticed that there were runs and pits or dimples in the paint in several areas of the car. After contacting the dealer, they took the car in to repair the paint run. The service manager took pictures and sent them to the Regional Rep who approved repainting the runs, but since a camera could not pick up the pits, the Rep said that he would have to personally inspect the vehicle. The service manager told us that his staff would inspect the entire vehicle and he sent it out to have the runs and pits repainted. After having our car for about 2 months, the pits in the paint are still not fixed by the dealer. The regional rep, who was scheduled to personally inspect our car on Oct 20, 2015 cancelled the viewing and to our knowledge has never seen the vehicle. We have contacted the Acura corporate office and they notified us that Acura will not take any responsibility for the pitting/dimples in the paint and they dont consider it a defect. BUYER BEWARE!!! Our only option at this time is to report this matter to the State Attorney General and apply for a solution through the states Lemon Law. My wife and I have owned 8 Hondas/Acuras since the 80s including 1 new RSX and 3 new TLs/TLX. This is the most disappointing new car, or used car purchase either of us have ever experienced. As I said earlier, BUYER BEWARE!

I have a six month old 2016 RDX with Tech Package. Overall I am happy with my RDX. The key fob is another story. I keep the key fob in my pants pocket. When I got into the RDX the key fob must have rubbed against my pants leg. This set the lift gate off raising it in the garage. The liftgate hit the top of our garage putting a $438.00 dent in the lift gate. The owner of the body shop I use also has a RDX. This also happened to his wife. The key fob is poorly designed. It should also be height adjustable. The less expensive CRV has this feature. Acura should step up and fix this issue.

I have a 2018 Acura RDX and its gas range display sucks. On an instance, I start from my office and it shows, I have gas range of 100 miles and after driving for less than 2 miles it shows gas left for 70 miles left. How come in driving for 2 miles I consumed gas worth of 30 miles? After driving on highway for few miles it moves up to 80 miles. How come after driving extra 5 miles I added more gas in my car? I understand it varies based on driving but how would I actually know how much gas I have in my car. It is extremely confusing and I think erroneous. Not sure how such system is considered as a better user experience by the Acura engineers. I think Acura should do a recall and fix this system for all Acura RDX owners.

I purchased a new 2021 Acura TLX on Dec 6th, 2020. Around 7500 miles the car steering rack started to make a noise. I recorded the video and sent it to my local Acura dealership (Vandergriff Acura). They said other Acura had the same issues and I need to get the steering rack assembly changed. The part was back ordered and it couldnt be fixed right away. After 4-5 months of wait the part was back in stock and Vandergriff installed the whole new steering rack assembly. The car at that point only had 14,000 miles. I took the car back to Vandergriff 3 times because the car wasnt going straight. The first time it was pulling to the left and the next two times pulling to the right. Ithen took it to another dealer in my area, Goodson Acura. They performed an alignment for free and said the issue is fixed. I drove the car right after and again the issue was there. The car keeps going to the left. The sensors in the car has be reset and still the car doesnt go straight. I contacted Acura Client Relations and Sue from CA called me back. She called me 3 weeks ago. She mentioned she will call me back and let me know if I can bring the car into the dealership. Three weeks in and reaching out to her three times already, she hasnt called me back. I am getting frustrated I have a new car and it drives worst than my 2021Mazda 3. Not many different models, but there are great colors and have different engine sizes. The car itself was great looking and I loved the easy going body. It didnt look like some weird spaceship like other cars look. The car had a nice sleek looking dash and is easy to clean too. My immediate space, and front seat passenger space was nice and did not feel confined. However the backseat was small and not very comfortable. Also, whenever I had issues with my car, the parts were very expensive and that was the downside for myself.

Sons Acura then told me that they saw where I had requested the airbags to be ordered in back in July, but they were not in. Ive had some engine issues, I love the smooth ride though. The standard amount of people can fit in the vehicles. My car is roomy, no one has ever complained. There is good leg room as well. We have owned many vehicles and we decided to give Acura a try mainly because we liked the body style and Hondas reliability. Worst mistake we have made in a long time let alone a very costly one! The car performs alright but the $5000.00 upgrade for the technology package is a sad story. The dealership along with tech experts there can barely explain its functions. Been there several times after reading the limited information in the manual and each time it takes three of these geniuses to solve one issue. They say to play with it but if trained personnel from HONDA CANT do it how is the consumer supposed to? Very unfriendly compared to other makers. Dont make our same mistake.

I had 2 issues with my 2010 CPO Acura ZDX Advance. The first was the fogging of the headlights within the warranty and the second was a gapping of the front fender liner from the cars body, resulting in a noticeable and unsightly gap. Both matters were first reported to my local dealer who advised that both matters were caused by environmental conditions, and therefore not covered under warranty. An Acura service bulletin acknowledges the fender well issue as being caused by heat, and the fix is replacement of the liner at over $350. I quickly advised Acura that I operate my vehicle IN THE ENVIRONMENT! While I purchased this vehicle used, it was a dealer car that spent its previous life on the lot in sunny California, the very climate it was designed in. After a trip to the dealership and a couple weeks back and forth with Corporate Acura, during which I advised them of each of the of the 5 Honda/Acura vehicles I had owned, they simply refused to offer any assistance, hiding behind their ridiculous environment position. CPO vehicles are sought precisely for the warranty, which has proven to be of less value than the paper on which it was written.I have been a huge Acura/Honda fan over the past 27 years, but I clearly have higher expectations than Acura has in their own products. The ZDX was originally touted as their flagship vehicle, which clearly should be able to stand up to usual weather, at least within the warranty period! To fail in that regard is simply a failure of materials and a failure that is unrelated to the customers use of the product. In the end, the local dealership (from where I did not buy the car) offered to provide the labor for buffing the headlights when I paid for the $30 kit, which I did. Bottom line: CORPORATE ACURA DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED WARRANTY....BUYER BEWARE!

I have several complaints about Acura and to be more specific, both Acura of Bay Shore and Acura Company. I leased a RDX in 2015. They deceived me in every possible way. Before I went to Acura I had a lease through Nissan and I had 5 months left on that lease. Allison, the sales rep, repeatedly told me that they would pay the 5 months I had on my previous lease as part of the deal. Needless to say, they added the amount of those 5 months to the new lease. The day I sign the contract I was in a hurry and I did not want to go through the whole process and I took responsibility and I am paying for what they told me they would do.One of the selling points was, or is, that Every time you bring your vehicle for service we will wash it for you. Well give you a free car wash every time. When I brought the truck for the first service, I dropped it in the morning around 8am. I did not hear from them until I called around 3:00pm. They said it would be ready in 45 min. When I received the truck it had noticeably some drops of water and all the dirt that it came with when I drop it. So I called the service person. When I showed to him the quality of the job done, he offered to take it back to wash it. Once again, they did not deliver on their promise and deceive me again. And the most recent complaint, which is no fault of Acura of Bay Shore but Acura as a Company, is that due to the recall on the Takata airbag used on my Acura RDX, I have been trying to reach Acura to work with me. My RDX has been parked for a month now and will be until the dealership receives the parts to replace which could be 3 month or a year, according to service manager. In the meantime, they provided me with a rental, a Kia Sedona. I have tried to get a different car, something comparable to what I am paying for. It hurts to pay $475.00 a month and drive a $200.00 dollar a month truck. After one month the car rental place contracted by Acura claims that, they dont have any SUVs available. I have called the Acura Relations Department to negotiate my monthly payments, to lower or stop for the time I am not using the car. They told me they cannot do anything for me and I am to fulfill the contract by paying my monthly lease of $475.00 for something I cant use. I have not been late with any payments since I entered into this contract with Acura. I have fulfill my obligation but ACURA HAS FAIL TO PROVIDE ME WITH A SAFE CAR. I dont expect to resolve this issues in my favor at this point. I just hope that whoever is reading this THINKS TWICE before dealing with Acura Company.

I was driving on the freeway at about 60 MPH, keeping up with morning traffic on US101N, when my ACURA MDX 2011 suddenly stalled. I was pressing my foot on the accelerator but it would not go faster; in fact, it started slowing down. I was able to coast off to an exit, luckily, and then the car completely stalled, and would not start back up again. The dealership, Acura of Marin happened to be right there, and I had bought the car from them, Certified used, just 5 months prior. Although the service department was really great, and my car was under warranty, I sold the car back to them at a loss. Turned out it was a faulty/defective fuel pump. They called it bad; I call it defective. I was lucky that neither my children and I who were in the car, nor anyone else got hurt at the time of incident. No warning lights ever came on. 2008 Acura MDX rear cupholder - We had an issue with the rear cup holder not opening properly. It was getting stuck. We dealt with it for several months. Finally, I decided to bring it in. They said, It looks like liquid was spilled on it, and could not be fixed, needed to be replaced. I paid for replacement parts and labor. Within a few months, it was doing the same thing. I questioned if my original one was defective and, in fact, not my fault at all. I asked if they could please fix and have the part ready so I would not have to make the trip out there again since it takes at least 2 hours for oil change. When I got there, they said, It looks like someone spilled liquid in it; we will order another one. It will be a day or two. I was frustrated because NO ONE spilled on the new one. Now I had to come back again when I specifically asked so we could avoid this. Then I find online an Acura Service Bulletin stating there are issues with this. Several people have the same problem and bring it in to have it fixed under warranty. Now I am really frustrated. When I confronted the service rep, Charlotte, she said, Well, that could be a new bulletin. No, it is 5 years old. Why did I have to find this on my own? Why did they just keep telling me, You spilled liquid? I expressed my aggravation and stated that I wanted my money back for the first one that I should not have had to pay for. She told me to call Acura. I said, Im in Acura dealership; who do I call? She said, Call California. Seriously! Then the service manager came out and said, I am not replacing this one as it is sticky, as he proceeds to show me the outside of the housing unit, which clearly has no effect on the internal mechanism. Then he began to ask me to read the bulletin. After 2 new cars from there and 8 years of loyal service to them? I spent thousands on new tires, service appointments, new parts, etc. And I am left with, Call California. I am very disappointed and I will no longer service my car there. I will no longer consider Acura for any future purchases.

I own a 2015 Acura MDX that is the months old and it has less than 4000 miles. I was driving down the highway early morning when suddenly I heard a loud boom (sounded like a shotgun). I even suffered some scratches on my hand and on my head. Thats when I realized that my sunroof had exploded. There were no other vehicles in sight that could have caused the damage plus the moonroof had exploded upwards. I have contacted several dealers, also called Acura customer relations but no luck. I currently own my third Honda/Acura vehicle. It is a 2002 Acura MDX. In Aug 2012, I brought it to Kingston Honda because the transmission was acting odd. They informed me that there was a recall on the transmission. This recall requires the technician to send photos of the transmission gears to Honda Canada where they are reviewed. If there is any sign of damage the transmission is replaced. If there is no sign of damage an oil injector kit will be installed (which takes 0.1 hours or 6 minutes to install). I was disheartened to be informed that my transmission was in perfect shape and therefore would not be replaced as I knew that it was acting up. I returned to them four more times in the next ten months with concerns about the transmission not working properly only to have them tell me each time that it was fine. On the last visit (July 2013) I was told that the transmission is gone and I was recommended I go to a local transmission shop to get it rebuilt for $5500. I asked the service manager why it had not been replaced earlier when the recall was performed and he told me that he did not know. I also asked for a copy of the reply from Honda Canada stating that the photos had indicated that the transmission showed no sign of wear but he had no record of it. In my opinion, Hondas recall appears to be lip service.

I bought a 2016 MDX at Apr 2015. The car has usual new car smell. At the beginning, I thought I will disappear soon. I am wrong. I cant stay in the car without the window open for about two years. But unfortunately after two years, the smell of new car just reduced a little bit and the leather seat still gives off strong chemical odor. I can confirm because if I smell closely to the leather its just too strong. I have owned multiple cars with leather seats before. This is the first time I hit the issue. Its not typical genuine leather smell. Its unpleasant chemical smell.

2016 Acura tlx transmission jerking. I got this car on May 2019. Certified 2016 Acura tlx. Since 2 trip to dealer. First they say they did a software update and still not good. Still jerk. Now second trip to dealer well got foreman from Acura on a test drive with me. He feel it and in one jerk after one stop sign it was violent so left it in the dealer. After a week they call me and say we went for a drive with case manager and computer plug and everything fine and not able to duplicate plus no code this transmission in. This cars are crap piece of **. Stay away from Acura up to this is resolve. Buy a Lexus.Anyway now I send a email and tell them I will contact a lawyer because I only have this car for 4 months and this hesitation is awful. Acura relation call me saying the case manager is out of office and he will be calling in a day or so. This is a week later no call so lawyer up as soon I can set with my attorney then will see if is a problem with the transmission or not. I’m done. I will let my lawyer to deal with them. Car is not safe with jerking and hesitation no matter what the ** they say. Honda of America need to fix this problem. Big mistake buying this car.

My family has been a loyal Honda customer for 30+ years and 6+ Honda cars. Weve loved their reliability and dependability. That being said, it is unfortunate that I have had a negative experience with most my recent vehicle. I drive a certified pre-owned 2012 Acura TL Tech Package, which I purchased in 2014. Since the purchase, the car has driven very well, showing no indication of any issues. Though I purchased this vehicle in a metroplex, I live in a rural area. I drive 60 miles round-trip to and from work. Last Wednesday, while driving on a rural highway between offices, the car lost all power without any warning traveling at 75mph. The RPM dial went crazy, and then the check engine lights flickered (check charge system, check ABS, check VSA). Luckily, I was able to pull over to the shoulder. I let it run, hoping it would stay on until I could get assistance. After about 5 minutes, it shut down completely. I was stranded in between 2 small towns on a rural highway with spotty cell phone coverage plus the inconvenience of missing work. I could not restart the car—absolutely no lights came on. Thankfully, I was able to contact a tow service to tow the car back to my house (28 miles away). I assumed the battery was the issue and replaced it, which worked for 5 minutes before it was completely drained. I live 350 miles from the nearest Acura dealer, so I had to tow it there. When I got it to Acura on Saturday, they ran diagnostics on the car and determined it was a faulty alternator, covered by my extended warranty and fixed the problem. My main concern with this situation is that there was no warning whatsoever to alert me of a problem. Had I been alerted, I would have acted proactively to prevent this from occurring, especially since I live so far from a dealer. I can only imagine how much worse this could have been had it happened in the middle of the night in this rural area, or if this happened on a 5-lane highway in a big city during the morning or evening commute. When I mentioned the lack of warning to the Acura service guy, he said, “Sometimes there is no warning on these things.” That is a problem. There should always be some form of warning before a relatively new vehicle is malfunctioning. Acura needs to determine why their vehicles are not warning the drivers of potential repairs for the safety of its drivers and all other drivers.

Acura RLX - DO NOT BUY THIS CAR!!!!!!!! I bought the car because it says it gets 20/24/30. I get 15/19/25. Acura Relations - LOSERS - says sorry there are many factors in what your car gets. I put premium in it; drive the speed limit, have an empty car yet it gets 5 mpg less. I will NEVER buy an Acura again. Unfortunately I am in a three-year lease or I would get rid of it. ACURA HAS LOUSY CUSTOMER RELATIONS - dont buy this car or any Acura for that matter.

The car is the best that I have driven. It rides smooth... its good on gas... and I have not had any problems with the car since I got it. I can fit everyone I need in the car comfortably.. everyone has legroom. I love that I dont have to hear anyone complain about being too close to the other. When you see the car you know its an Acura. Its unlike any other car I have ever seen or ever driven. I would recommend it to everyone.

The dealership had multiple cars available in their inventory ranging from the different models, colors, years, and new and used vehicles available. I really enjoy the upgrades that come standard in all Acura Vehicles which led me to the purchase of my new vehicle as well. Each model comes basic with navigation, leather seats, and sunroof. Overall I feel like there could be more leg room added to the back seats of the vehicles. However they are comfortable and provide a sense of security and luxury.

Acura offers quite a very big variety of cars and is my trusted brand so I would highly recommend them when youre looking for a car/truck. I would go to them day/day for cars/trucks. My car is quite the piece from them and theyre amazing. Theyre also very trustworthy. They have their own style and it is beautiful just the way the cars/trucks are.

Do not think about getting this car. The new Acura redesign has a major problem with the infotainment system causing the Battery to die. There is no fix at this time. The dealer put his hands up and said I wish I could help but we do not know what to do. Acura corporate admits to the problem, has no solution, wont take the car back and wont waive lease payments until the car is fixed. (Mercedes Benz did that for me.)

2011 Acura tsx. Worst riding car Ive ever had. First and last Honda Ive ever/will ever own. Interior rattles everywhere from the time it was new. Cheap thin paint on front of car - looks like its been sandblasted. Im easy on my cars. This was a daily driver with mostly Highway miles. Transmission went out at only 75k. Never had trans problems with any car Ive ever owned. From what I hear, this is typical. Honda transmissions are some of the worst made. GM and Toyota are best. Oh well, you live and learn. Hope this review helps someone NOT buy an Acura or Honda.

My car is a 2016. I bought it used. It was in excellent condition. The acceleration is lacking somewhat. It has a hesitation problem. But its a nice looking SUV. Its smaller than the car I sold when I bought this. That was a Hyundai Santa Fe. The Acura has some convenient things. It has a moon roof. It doesnt use a key to start the car. Its a push button. Mine has fully adjustable front heated seats. They are leather. Id like to have cooled seat because I live in southern Arizona. Overall its a good car thats a little hard on gas, however.

My Acura TL 2014 model was purchased new and I never had a black vehicle but always seen black cars and they looked great. The vehicle has a V6 engine and plenty of power and the style is sleek, aerodynamic curves and it a great vehicle. The only issue I have are the tire sensors fail consistently and these are a nuisance as I have my own pressure gauge to measure the tire pressure. The vehicle rides so smoothly on various roads while steering is very comfortable and ease to control the vehicle. Overall I recommend this vehicle but my taste has changed in terms of car type. I would like to pursue a mid sized SUV in the future.

Love the Acura deluxe. The car is beautiful and also has a perfect shine to it. I love the black color interior. Its perfect to go to the beach and does not get wet very easily. Its very big and has a perfect warm seat. It is perfect if you have kids, and the kids and love ones love it. Also the deal I have made for this car is perfect. Did not pay that much. The best machine and engine. The best car for me.

2012 Acura TL Power steering fails. From the airbag recall to the transmission recall I can handle. Now the fact that my power steering suddenly seizes and leaves me in the middle of an intersection with a non functional vehicle I cannot handle. The answer? Pay to have the EPS replaced. Now, going on blogs this is a COMMON issue and should be a recall warranty issue! Not self pay. Someone is going to die until Acura/Honda notices. Its not right. I have been a Honda or Acura owner for years. I will tell you, this will be my last. It is dangerous and someone will die then they might listen.
