I purchased a 2015 SRX with $13,000 miles on it. Within the last six months, the CUE screen wont work on the bottom, the wiper fluid motor stopped working, had to replace a fuel injector and just yesterday the motor on my right passenger side window went out. I drove to work in the pouring rain with my window partially down. I have had several vehicles in my lifetime, but this is by far THE WORST! These cars are not cheap but they sure have all kinds of things go wrong with them. I will NEVER buy another Cadillac!

The CTS is mid sized sedan. Only had 12,000 miles on it at the time of purchase. The lease came with bumper to bumper warranty for 100,000 miles. Everything from the paint job to the interior was beautiful. It has Italian leather seats with full sunroof. While stylish, it lacks the leg room we all keep hoping for year after year. Hopefully engineers will figure this one out. Its been long overdue for such a beautiful car. Dealership assisted in the entire process making the buying experience their top priority. They were easy to talk to and understand. Personalized options are available upon request. Full detail car wash and oil change at dealership.

Cadillac had an assortment of cars to choose from. I grew up on Cadillac. A father told to when I was a child. So I thought I will keep up the tradition. I love the interior design of the Cadillac. I like the customization to the chassis that we ordered from the showroom. It has a unique design that is noticeable worldwide no matter where you go. I definitely look forward to buying another one. Although we have very few customizations the dealer offered various promotion packages that allowed us to customize the ceiling, the color of the car, the interior even a sunroof. I was more than satisfied with my purchase experience. It was the sedan so there was plenty of seating for me and my family. Were not a very large family in terms of physical size so it offered more than enough seating space leg room all that we needed.

Its a BMW with nice big wheels, a good engine, runs 15 miles, has nice beautiful windows. Gas is good. It runs really fast with a high speed limit. It is the color red with some white in it. Red cars are the best. Has a nice big stereo. However, it will need a lot of work like nicer, better, big wheels, more windows, and a different color would be nice and a better stereo, long distance and more miles. The miles could be better with more room for a bigger family. But the capacity of this car is good. It was really good experience.

I purchased a 2006 Cadillac CTS in May 2010. Since the purchase, I have had several car repairs resulting in thousands of dollars. I make sure that I receive regular oil changes and follow recommendations for Mobil 1 oil only. I have to purchase approximately 6 to 8 quarts of the oil to add to my engine between oil changes. I had my mechanic assess the vehicle and there are no leaks. The car simply drinks oil. This is quite an expense since an oil change is approximately $100 and a quart of Mobil 1 oil is $10 a quart. This is simply unacceptable. I have read many complaints where people have lost their engines over oil consumption. Its simply not fair to the consumer to have to bear this expense for a product that is supposed to be trusted. In addition to this, I am putting brakes on my vehicle (front and back) twice a year. This is unheard of. There needs to be some accountability and responsibility for the makers of this vehicle.

Earnhardt Cadillac, Scottsdale LIES AND COVERS UP, WHAT A CUSTOMER SERVICE
Earnhardt Cadillac, Scottsdale LIES AND COVERS UP, WHAT A CUSTOMER SERVICE NIGHTMARE! In January of 2011, I purchased a 2008 Cadillac STS in excellent condition, with less than 20,000 miles 20,000 ARIZONA MILES! That means no snow exposure and little, if any at all, rain exposure. With such low mileage and the excellent condition of the car, I was looking forward to several years of enjoying it.Cadillac vehicles have been a constant in my family for as long as I can remember. My grandfather bought a new one every 12-18 months and my father has ALWAYS had a Cadillac - a new one every 2 years. I was excited to continue this family tradition. I took extra special care of the cars I do all my cars. I purchased the extended warranty and serviced the car, oil changes and ALL other service, ONLY at Legends Cadillac, which became Earnhardt. In the early part of 2014, my car began making an unusual noise only upon the first cold start in the morning. Of course, I took the car to Earnhardt for a diagnosis. I was told that the service department was unable to replicate the noise and thus could not provide a diagnosis, but that the car seemed to check out and be running just fine. There were no concerns. The power train warranty expired at the end of June, while the car was still well below 70,000 miles. In August of this year, while driving with my 2 young children, I received a message stating OIL LOW, TURN OFF CAR. I was able to drive to the dealership for service. This appointment revealed only, according to JD our service manager, that an oil pressure sensor wire had come loose causing the alert message. I asked if this could be related to the noise that they had been unable to diagnose, which had significantly worsened over time. JD told me no, stated that the car was running fine and sent me on my way.A couple of weeks ago, with the noise now EXTREMELY loud and a noticeable hesitation on acceleration, my wife contacted JD and told him that there was definitely a problem and demanded to drop the car off at service. Two days later, I received a call from JD stating that there was a major problem, oil pressure related, that had caused extensive damage to the engine and would cost $4,800.00 to repair! Oil pump issue. I ended the conversation knowing that I did not have $4,800.00 laying around and available, to fix the car. I also stated that a Cadillac that has been babied, with less than 70,000 miles, should absolutely not have repair issue of this magnitude.I then received a call from JD, much later the same day, stating that he had taken it upon himself and spent several hours on the phone with Cadillac, going to bat for me, to have the repair costs reduced. He then revealed a reduced repair cost of $1,800.00, and acted as though I should be forever grateful for this good deed on behalf of himself and Cadillac?? This good deed, if anything, indicates to me a sense of guilt or responsibility. I responded stating that this was still an enormous amount of money and a problem that should not exist at less than 70,000 miles. Additionally, I reminded him that I had brought the car in to service, prior to the expiration of the Power Train warranty, for this issue AND that the car had been in service for an OIL PRESSURE ISSUE in August. Again, he mentioned the good deed offer that Cadillac was willing to extend. My wife went to the dealership to pick up the car. She requested full service records and was told by JD, that he was unable to print them, and that he could only see them on his computer screen. He blamed this issue on the Legends/Earnhardt transition. My wife insisted on obtaining the service records, even if it meant that she would need to take pictures of his computer screen showing the records. JD replied saying that he would try. He then returned 10 minutes later with printed service records. My wife noticed that the most recent records were missing and asked JD about them. He acted surprised and said that he would check again. He returned with the service record from August 2014. My wife proceeded to ask about the record for when the car was brought to service for the unidentifiable noise, PRIOR TO THE POWER TRAIN WARRANTY EXPIRATION. She was told, by JD, that because there was no service completed, there was no official record of the visit?!?!?In summation, neither Earnhardt nor GM/Cadillac, has made any attempt to follow up with me regarding the situation, even though I have pursued an answer on a management level. They have clearly demonstrated that the loyalty in this relationship was one sided, on my part, and that they clearly do not value my business. Do yourself a favor, STEER CLEAR OF EARNHARDT CADILLAC IN SCOTTSDALE, AND CADILLAC IN GENERAL!

Exhaust noise: I bought a new 2012 CTS. When I get on it a little bit just before it shifts gears, it makes a sound that sounds like all the baffles in the muffler or cat is going to fall out. I took it my dealer, and they hear it also. They took another 2012 CTS, and it does the same thing. I got a case number from GM. They told me there was nothing they could do. I have had 5-6 people tell me that the car sounds like it is falling apart when I step on it. The dealer hears, and GM knows about it and will not do anything. What do I need to do to get some results? I did not buy a new $45,000.00 car to have something that sounds like it is falling apart. I am not bad-mouthing the dealer, they have done everything they can at this time. Have you heard of this? According to GM, all CTSs might do this? Im trying to find anyone who can tell GM how to fix this. Thank you.

My son graduated from college last month and was lucky enough to find a job
My son graduated from college last month and was lucky enough to find a job prior to graduating. He bought his first nice car, a beautiful 2005 STS Cadillac. We noticed that the car was burning oil. In 4,000 miles, the car went through 7 quarts of oil which is unbelievable for a car with 62,000 miles and had been serviced 36 times by Cadillac dealerships according to the faux report. The dealership tells us that the car needs new pistons and rings. The cost is $3,500 to fix the vehicle. When we bought the car, it had a $1,500 guarantee if there were any problems with the car. They do this on different brands of used cars. I emailed GM Cadillac division and received an email that they were happy to help and would contact us the next day which they did. I explained to them that there has been multiple complaints about that model and that this was a defect and I would hope they could help my son with the cost of the overhaul. The second person I talked to told me that the most they could help was the $1,500 from the dealership like they were involved which this was already offered from the lot where we bought the car. I then asked for the supervisor whose name is Roy. I told him that I have never heard of a car with 66,000 miles going through 7 quarts of oil in 4,000 miles and especially a high-end car. The bottom line is he said there’s nothing he could do about it. I realized that there is probably nothing that can be done but I am in customer service for a large company and cant believe that they offered no help especially with social media nowadays.

MY CUE screen suffer from a known problem in some of the SRX and other models. Brought the car under warranty still to the dealer who recognize that the screen is freeze (not working) in the lower center part of the screen and they said it might take 3 weeks to get the part... its 2 month later without any answers and specific date for the part to show up?! I contact GM customer service and end up with nothing but same words and promises like the dealer. Im driving without navigation for 2 month already and who knows how long until this part will show up. My car is 2013 SRX with 50k mileage (been at the dealer before the warranty expire for that issue). Im in the point where Im looking for a new car as I usually does every 3 years and if for a minute I was considering Cadillac then after that hell NO. There is no way I buy Cadillac or GM to find out that they have NO PARTS for something they knew for awhile now. Very disappointment and even considering to sue.

We purchased our Cadillac XT5 in Feb. 2017 for almost $64,000. We have been subscribers to SiriusXM since 2009. Shortly after purchasing the XT, we noticed that the radio dropped SXM channel 69. Returned car to dealer and they ran codes but could not find a problem. Returned the car a second time for the same problem with no luck. Radio also loses signal in supermarket and Lowes parking lots. I have a 2011 GMC Terrain, has never dropped a signal Suspect XT radio or the antenna.Returned the car a third time and was given a loaner with the same radio. That radio also dropped SXM 69, 7 and 71. I returned the loaner. Sent letter to Cadillac customer assistance explaining the problem. Requested a written response, nope. I never got. Several days get phone call and was told to call SXM. Another refresh sent. Next day my wife goes to the market, drives in the parking lot, no signal. Florida does have lemon law. I would prefer Cadillac solve their problem. My patience is wearing thin.

GM Cadillac start to disintegrate at 55,000 miles. Not worth the money. No customer service. GM makes the worst cars and GM executive customer service is even worse than their cars. I will never buy a GM and my family and their families will know my disgusting experience with your GM vehicle and horrible staff especially the CEO of GM. NEVER PURCHASE A GM. Horribly manufactured with horrible customer service, if you can ever get a one the phone. My customer service on my Caddy was just horrible and the repair warranty was the worse. Plus, all inferior plastic parts in the Cadillac are disintegrating before my very eyes. And this a low mileage car that was very expensive but built with inferior materials. All glam and hype but no quality. NO MORE GM FOR ME, FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND FRIENDS OF FRIENDS.And one more thing, there has been a knocking in my engine from the day I drove it off the lot but somehow every time I took it in to have GM their mechanics always told me thats normal for this type of vehicle to have knocking in the engine. When I took my vehicle outside of GM to be looked at by Cadillac mechanics, I have been told that this was not normal for this Cadillac to be knocking all the time. I rest my case with GM and whoever is running GM. Plus the windshield was never put in properly. It is just a badly made vehicle with the brand name Cadillac. What a shame for such a classic. Horrible experience with GM dealership, GM customer service and tried to reach the CEO Mary.

We leased a Cadillac ATS turbo 2013. Thank God that we leased this vehicle and not purchased it. The car exterior is very appealing. The interior is not bad, the CUE system is horrible to operate while driving. Handling is very good, acceleration is excellent. But we have been having problems with this vehicle ever since we got it. It had front end problems twice, the radio is basically obsolete since its always acquiring the HD signal and is not pleasant to hear, already had about 7 recalls on it. Every couple of months the car goes back to the shop for different problems. As a matter of fact its in the shop now. There was noise coming from the engine and they found loose screws. The car had a terrible vibration on rear window area so they notified me that all 4 rims are bent due to potholes. Now how can that be possible? I have owned about 15 different vehicles and not one of them ever had a problem with a bent rim nevermind all 4 of them. My opinion is that these rims were made with cheap materials and have a design fault. This has to be the worst vehicle we have ever had and theres no pleasure in driving it. Maybe I got a lemon but I have received no help from the dealership.

In Oct. 2009 I took my 2007 SRX in for engine light check/repair. In Nov 2009 I brought it in for 5 times, twice for December 2009, once on Jan. 2010, once in Feb. 2010, Mar. 2010, April 2010, Sept. 2010, Oct. 2010, twice in Nov. 2010, once in Dec 2010, and once in Jan. 2011. There are many more that I dont have a repair order detail for. The SRX was in the Miller (now Baker) service shop, most of 2011. At times, when the light would appear, I would stop in, and the service adviser would clear it, if it was the same codes. No repair order appeared. At present, the check engine light is on, and has been on since early Dec. 2011. I was told to drive it.During 2011, Leo from Cadillac customer service would frequently contact me. I gave him an update, but I saw no action to help resolve this repetitive problem. The district rep, Tom **, is not willing to work with me, and is thwarting any resolution. He is certainly staining the Cadillac reputation. Who is his boss? I want resolution! Is this the quality automobile that Cadillac advertises?

Poorest customer service I have ever received. Totally not helpful and not there to meet customers needs or satisfaction. After waiting for my Escalade for 4 months with a issue with the transmission, on the third time around picking my vehicle up the engine blew at 60000 miles 10 miles from the dealership and transmission still not fixed. Four months later vehicle was returned, after a new engine and still has transmission issues, touch screen is bad, cruise control not working and drivers assist warning on. I had to fight for a loaner for warranty work! Which was given a equinox, nowhere in comparison for 3.5 months. Was told by Cadillac was basically my problem to deal w the dealership and I could go rent a vehicle to meet my familys need of a 7 passenger vehicle but would only reimburse 42 dollars a day for a week only.I also was told by one of their customer car advisors that it was basically my problem and if they were to have the same issues she would be in the same shape. Total lie. Payment reimbursement was discussed then denied after I had to do all the grunt work to get the warranty work order and submit for which they had multiple contacts with the dealership and were well aware what was going on. Worst experience ever and will not own another Cadillac in my lifetime. Would highly not recommend buying a Cadillac. They are junk and way overpriced. Encountered multiple people with the same transmission issues along with GM has a class action lawsuit against them for the transmission problem my vehicle has/had. I got rid of it ASAP!

Then I slowly realized my headlights werent working properly over the following months. They seemed too dim but they were on. The guy at the service department really didnt care. GM never recalled or made it public even after they knew. Then the horrible Pirelli tires started losing air pressure. Had 2 of them replaced, fast forward 1 1/2 years, I just replaced 3 of them replaced. The cherry on top is now the AC doesnt function properly.I have taken the car in several times and after several attempts they only replaced the compressor. The issue is still there and they are telling me theres nothing they can do. I am in Florida and cant afford a car without AC which cost well over 50k. Bottom line it has been issue after issue. I have gotten to the point where I want to trade it in and get a different brand. To GM: you really dropped the ball on the quality of parts you assemble Cadillac with.

I leased a brand new 2013 Cadillac ATS, four cylinder 2.0 turbo. According to Cadillac the fuel consumption is 21/31. That is a lie! I have 10,000 miles on the car after a year and I am getting about 18 miles per gallon. Best I ever got was 22 going from Fort Lauderdale to Orlando, all highway. They simply lied to the consumers. The government needs to step in and fine them. If there is a class action lawsuit on this, I would like to join!

I have had my 2014 Cadillac SRX for 15 months. It has been in the shop for major repairs 3 times in that time and the car only has 24,000 miles. I have been communicating with the Cadillac Corp 800 # and have been treated in a way that shows I am not valued as a customer, even after owning 5 Cadillacs over the years! I was not even allowed to speak with a supervisor and was told a supervisor would call me when it was convenient for them! I became so frustrated, I finally called an attorney. Do not think that buying a luxury car will provide you with luxury customer service.

I have a 2015 Cadillac CTS and it’s been nothing but problems once I passed 65,000. The rear differential began to go out around this time. Also the CUE in dash screen began to crack internally around 74,000 miles. Both are very expensive items to replace. Cadillac only offered to pay for 40% of my differential repairs even though the differential began to go out under warranty. Also the CUE screen is no longer under warranty. This is my first car where I need to have 2 major repairs and the car is under 100,000 miles. SMH.

Cadillac offers about 8 models, 2 crossovers and sedans. The car is easily recognized and you wont get it confused with other models. It has plenty of standard features and offers a lot of options such as all wheel drive and front wheel drive, special wheels, GPS, heated and cooled seats, accident avoidance and lane alert. Radio is very good and OnStar is great. Front seats have plenty of room but back seat is limited. Cargo space is good but rear seats fold and that you definitely have plenty of room. However, clearance for snow is poor and has a bad transmission. Would not recommend and Cadillac customer hotline is awful. They never respond and dont care.

I own a 2011 SRX and at 77,000 Km. I noticed a humming noise coming from the rear of the car. It sounded like an exhaust leak as it varied with acceleration. I took it to my dealer and it was found to be a worn left wheel bearing. It was replaced at no cost to me. The same noise started to appear again at 88,000 km. I returned to the dealer with the same complaint and this time it was deemed to be the right rear wheel bearing. But this time since the vehicle was past the 80,000 km warranty it was going to cost me about $500 to repair. I argued that it should have been replaced with the original complaint and ended up paying for labor only $200. Is this normal for both wheel bearings to wear out with this mileage?

I spoke with a number of do nothings and unfortunates there. They assigned THREE (3) different case/file numbers (** then **, then again today: **). They keep putting this off. I want them to pick up the bill, pay for the repairs, etc. I should NOT have to be put through the inconvenience of being without my car for another two weeks for the exact SAME problem I already paid for three years ago. Weve owned 3 CTSs in the last 10 years. Why so many? Well, we like to change for the sake of change. And in between noir Cads weve had Lexus, M-B, and BMW. THEY ALL HAVE THEIR PLUSES AND MINUSES. Its personal choice, but our used CTS was affordable to buy and is affordable to own (have you ever replaced brakes or suspension in a Beemer?). It seats 5, although rear seating can be cramped for long legs. Features are nicely appointed, and the body is good, with good trunk space. Our 13 has sunroof with electric retracting shade; good enough for even hot Arizona days. Never had even a pickup with our 3.0 V-6, which provides more power than needed for everything except burnouts!

I have a 2011 Cadillac SRX. My check engine light started coming on back in Jan of 2016 and going out on and off for three months. I had auto zone check codes. They was po171 & po174. I looked them up on the computer technical description system too lean (bank2) po171 & po174. Very similar auto zone description, said too much oxygen in exhaust so I change two O2 upstream sensor light, still on then po174 mean mass air sensor light still coming on & off. I had the dealer here in Merrillville in. They had my car all day and told me I needed to replace all 6 injector $2500. I told them to close my hood and I was picking my car up. I do all my work myself so everyone having check engine light I started to check myself. The problem was replace. The evaporative emissions purge control valve price $ 41.47 when I installed the light went out. That valve will make your car run bad, make your trans shift funny on my car. The purge valve is right behind the throttle body. I hope this will help someone having check engine. If someone need help email me. PS I purchase my SRX new in Aug 2011. I only got 65000 miles and I service my car regular and the dealer said I needed new injector. I knew that was a lie. The dealer are out to rip you off.

My wife and I recently rented a 2017 Cadillac XTS. We wanted to try it out before we bought one. Immediately after starting out we tried to use the CUE system and discovered that it is dangerous to use as it is totally distracting and takes your eyes off the road. It is very difficult to use the controls and activate them. I tried to plug my iPod in and it immediately froze up the system. It was extremely difficult to activate the A/C, heating and radio, stereo controls. This system is a complete failure and a deathtrap as it is dangerous to use. I hear as well that they are very prone to failure and not covered under the radio type warranty. What a failure for a car like a Cadillac where a person lays out high multi thousands of dollars. Cadillac needs to dump this system and replace it with one that this car should have. How disappointing. The car itself had adequate power but rode no better, braked no better or did it handle on curves and straight a ways any better than my 2010 Terrain. The seats were hard and uncomfortable on a long trip. As well the transmission did not do anything better than my 2010 Terrain. I expected a lot lot more from a Cadillac especially for the asking price but the car and the company did not deliver. Cadillac is asking way to much for this car and it does not deliver In conclusion we will not be buying any Cadillac of any kind and have decided to go with an Audi. We DO NOT recommend a Cadillac of any kind to any one.

I bought a new 2011 Escalade ESV. The rims are rusting and flaking, and the chrome trim package is rusting. Cadillac and the dealership’s response is that its from chemicals put on the road and its not their problem. My Escalade never is dirty. When I drive on snowy roads, its washed immediately. In 45 years of owning vehicles, Ive never had a vehicle with rust problems. I bought an $82,000 Escalade. I have rust issues and I have lived in snow country all my life so I know all about chemicals on the roads. This is my last Cadillac. Dont make the same mistake I did. Stay away from Cadillac. I have a 2005 Cadillac CTS 3.6L engine with less than 87,000 miles on it. About 2 weeks ago, a screw had somehow backed itself out of one of the gears and caused major damage to my vehicle. The valve cover is shredded, cracked cylinder head and a piece broke off the cast iron timing chain cover. I reported it to Cadillac in hope of them standing by their product and customer loyalty and in turn they have said its not covered under the powertrain warranty. At Cadillacs request, I had the car towed to Don Massey Cadillac because they were supposed to have a reputation for good customer service. That is very wrong. They took almost 5 days to look at my car and give a diagnosis. Now the mechanic that is going to fix the car is on vacation and has three weeks of work before he could get to my car. If the dealership would have looked at the car in a timely manner the mechanic could have looked at it sooner and at least got the parts ordered. I am now going to be at least another month without my car because Cadillac wasted my time. I will NEVER buy another Cadillac or GM product. This car has never been abused or had modifications done to it. Every oil change has had synthetic oil put into it. I am very dissatisfied with the Cadillac brand of luxury. There is nothing luxury about how they treat their customers.

Bought my XT5 in December of 2020. It has been the worst thing I could have done. I traded my Lexus and I am so disappointed in Cadillac. I took it in 3 times for them to try and fix, Parking Brake, All wheel drive system, StabiliTrak, steering assist. My dash was lit up like a Christmas tree only to find out after 3 times there was a corroded wiring harness and then a bad camera. After all of that, I had a flood under my gas pedal that soaked over to the passenger side too, so I took it in a fourth time. This vehicle stalled on me driving south bound Interstate 75. I have called Cadillac customer service 3 times to report this safety issue and they have not bothered to call me back. Shame on Cadillac on the lack of response to a serious safety concern! Really regret trading my Lexus. Dont buy Cadillac!!!! They clearly do not care about safety concerns.

I bought a 2005 Cadillac CTS. I was having to constantly put oil in it. I changed it every 3000 miles. I went to visit my dad in Iowa. During the first four hours, we had to add 4 quarts of oil to the car. Then 20 minutes from our destination, we hear a pop. The car engine dies. No brakes while driving 70 miles an hour. Thank God no one got hurt or died. We had it towed to the car repair shop. They said the engine is shot and I needed a new one. Upon researching we find out through numerous blogs that this is a constant problem with the CTS for this year, happened to numerous people and yet Cadillac does nothing to warn people or to repair the issues. What are they waiting for, people to die? Someone needs to do something about this. They should not be allowed to charge you a ton of money for their elite cars that have issues, get complaints, but yet do nothing about it.

I purchased a 2004 Cadillac SRX last week from a dealership that did not offer a warranty. That was not the issue, considering the car seemed to be in great condition. A few days later I noticed that my Stability Control sensor repeatedly appeared on my dash, warning me of an issue. After doing my research online in regard to the issue, I noticed that this is a constant pattern for the 2004 SRX and many thousands of owners have complained with no resolution. This is a driving hazard because the car veers out of control and the breaks lock up at speeds over 50 mph.The forum discussion also mentioned a family that was killed as a result of this issue. They also mentioned numerous accidents and near accidents as well. I also know that GM is aware of this issue because they monitor the forum site and have responded with canny and inconsiderate responses to some of the comments made. The sad thing is that this vehicle has never been recalled for this issue.Essentially, I am not blaming the car dealership in regard to this issue. However, I am holding GM responsible for not correcting this highly dangerous defect years ago. I am surprised that this car is still on the road after reading all the horror stories. Thank you for your time and I hope this can be resolved before another innocent person is killed behind a companys irresponsible behavior.

I dropped the car off on 1/25/18 for my 10am appointment, it took all day for the dealer to look at the car and in the end they told me that it needed to be replaced at a cost of 1479.00 and gave me a bill for 143.81.1/29/18 Spoke to Ashley at Cadillac and told her what transpired and told her I was not happy. Ashley said that she would look into it and get back to me within 72 hours. On 2/6/18 I finally received a call from Ashley at 10:31am at the time I could not talk and that I would call her back in an hour or two. I called back at 12:26pm left message to call me. Instead, they would send the car to Dubai to get the audio system repaired there and it would take 3-4 weeks to get it back. We asked if the agent will give us a car for our usage during the period of repair, but they refused. The car was returned to us. My wife and I traded our Yukon Denali in on a new Cadillac XT5 on 2/21/2018. Four months after our trade, we got a correspondence from a Seattle detective indicating that our former Denali had just been involved in a criminal activity and wanted to question us about it since it was our vehicle. Turns out Larson Cadillac had not removed our license plates from the Denali and the detective thought we were the criminals. Last month we started receiving toll charges by mail related to our former Denali. Larson did take the proper, common actions to remove us from the Denali when we traded it in, and now say that its up to use to clean up the mess. Very disappointed in their lack of professionalism as we havent had that same experience with any other dealer we have ever done business with?

I purchased a Cadillac SRX and was very excited at the time. Little did I know I was fixing to have regrets. Cadillac used to have a great reputation but not anymore. I have a car that only has 49000 miles. Bought it brand new and its been in service dept 3 times each time for a week for their poor craftsmanship. They could care less how long you go without a vehicle. Will not provide a loaner. I know friends with a Lexus, BMW get loaners and treated like they care. The problem is Cadillacs faulty design in the sunroof water cant drain properly so it runs into the car shorting out electrical. This happened not once but twice. Now I cant see at night unless my lights are on bright because of anther faulty design. Headlight covers retain moisture and become faded and cloudy. A class action lawsuit is ongoing but they are telling me I have to pay $1000 out of my pocket. I dont Think so. When I wreck because of this a lawsuit will be placed on Cadillac. They cant pick and choose who they will take care of. As Im typing this my car sits in the service dept while they dont care. Johnson motor co wont even call back. Cadillac has base models but they also offer the coolest upgrades in the automotive industry. They have more upgrades coming as well. All of the Cadillac cars are beautiful so it was easy to choose. I love the way all the models look and how all the features really stand out. Several of the models are roomy for passengers. They did their homework when it comes to being roomy.

Bought a 2015 Escalade in August 2014. Ever since then I have had nothing but problems. Had taken my car in for a vibration when I reached 70mph. Each time I had to pay out of pocket because they thought my tires needed to be balanced. The problem was still not fixed. The third time I complained and mentioned I do not feel comfortable driving the vehicle while we go out of state and demanded that they figure it out because its not the tires needing to be balanced. They fixed the problem but less than a week later, my vehicle is not blowing any cold air. I live in South Texas and it gets hot here and needless to say I also have a 2 year old who I will not put in that hot vehicle even with the windows rolled down. I brought my vehicle the day I notice the ac was out and they couldnt even look at it. Much less they didnt have any loaners to provide.I have had the worst experience with Cadillac and I will never buy another one. Also, not even having a vehicle to provide for the meantime is disappointing. I paid cash for this vehicle and they could care less if you dont have ac. I left a message to my service tech and havent received a callback. I will be trading my vehicle in for a more liable one, because not only is this an inconvenience, but I didnt pay 80k for my vehicle to give me these problems. Forgot to mention, I never even heard from the service manager or GM. If I knew a customer is having all these problems, I would make sure their needs were met. Thank you Cadillac. The only helpful person is my sales representative who doesnt have much say when it comes to service.

They have a lot of different quality cars to choose from and different looks and quality. I would be more than happy to choose from them again. They have sedans that range from mid class to upper class and they have SUVs that range the same. Their passenger capacity is great. Most their vehicles have at least room for 3-4 in the back, 1 in the front with lots of room so they can be comfortable. Most if not all their cars have upgrade options to choose from and different engine to choose from. Their interior options are very good too.

They are one of a kind cars that no one else could match in craftsmanship. They are strong and reliable cars with a sleek design and heritage that is very well beyond any other brands. I bought my 2013 SRX in 2014 and it had 12000 miles on it. The transmission shifts so hard, GM says this is normal. I dont think so. They had a recall on it, but I cant tell a difference. My cue screen quit working at 61k miles. Just over factory warranty. Dealership told me it would be at least 1200.00 to fix it, I opted to go without. Fast forward 6 months. My front left tire will not hold air, its a brand new tire. Come to find out, my rim has corroded and will not seal to the tire. Eventually, this happened with all 4 tires. Meanwhile, my cue screen has started cracking on the inside. I dont even use the cue module because it doesnt work. Dealership said it cracked because of the heat. I end up with a flat tire at end of my driveway, I go to change it, no spare, no donut. Just a can of fix a flat type stuff. I call dealership, they tell me to call roadside assistance. Seriously? I find out from the internet that I can order the cue replacement screen on Amazon for 80 bucks. I did. Then I took it to a local mechanic and had them install it for me. Cost me 130 bucks to have it installed. Beats the hell out of the minimum of 1200 for Cadillac. They try telling you the whole unit needs replaced. They take it, slap a new screen on it and sell it as refurbished. Crooks! So after buying new rims and an aftermarket screen and dealing with a hard shifting car, Im at 91k miles at this point, I get in my car to leave work and the ac stopped working. Took it to my fave local mechanic. He tries to fix it but apparently it is a sensor that has to be fixed by a gm dealer so it can be reprogrammed. Of course it does! To sum it all up, the Cadillac looks nice, the electronics quality is definitely lacking, and Cadillac does not stand behind their product. I will never buy another gm product again. My money will go back to Nissan.

I am a victim of bad work performed on my vehicle by the service department
I am a victim of bad work performed on my vehicle by the service department, unethical car service practices and unheard-of customer resolution at Suburban Cadillac Plymouth, 40475 Ann Arbor Rd., Plymouth MI. I took my car in for service on 6/2/17 and the dealership had my car for over 2 months which caused me great concern. I researched the Timing Change job that was being done and learned it was a very tedious job. When I finally received my vehicle, cost $3111.01 which my warranty covered 100% but $750.00 was rolled over to me due to dealership not accepting $70 per hour labor cost and I had to make up difference. The next day while heading to work I noticed my XM Satellite radio wasn’t working. I called my Cadillac representative, ** to report the issue. He stated, “I’m sorry to hear that but that has nothing to do with the work that was done on your car and there are no loaner cars available at the time, you can schedule a loaner car but know this will be a separate issue/charge.” I explained these things were working prior to car repair and please have techs go over their work. It could have been the way they re-assembled things back together that obviously effected something else. My rep ** states to bring it in but understand no dealership responsibility and expect new charges.Upon arrival I ask to speak with the service director, **. He appeared friendly and sympathetic to what had happened to my car but agreed with his rep, **. When I ask ** to speak with someone higher up he declined and stated he is the only one that can assist. I insisted and he left the office briefly and returned with a business card of a manager under him. I was insulted and felt disrespected with the treatment of the team working together against me, the customer. He had me sign papers agreeing to check the vehicle for 130.00 fee. He gave me a loaner car and said, “Have a nice day. We will call you.”I received the call maybe a week and half later with ** asking for permission for a tech to drive my car home to ensure engine light doesn’t come back on. It is determined pass 50 miles, I gave consent. The next week ** called to say they have an estimate for my car. “The radio needs replacing cost $1600.00 because Sirius Radio stated the issue is not on their end, and by the way, while your car was being test driven something pertaining to the brakes collapsed and that will cost you $700, your total bill $2500.00 warranty doesn’t cover nor the dealership. The remainder covers the engine light and lockout issue. Let us know how you would like to proceed.”At this point I felt raped by these unheard-of business practices and called in later in an effort to reach a higher up. I left several messages on ** phone but received no call back. I was passed around the dealership and sent to voicemails with no return calls after leaving a couple messages. Much happened in between that revealed their dishonesty and how they worked together to ensure I didn’t speak with someone in authority to attend to this matter.I picked my car up today 10/3/17 paying 751.00 for the brake collapsed incident that happened while at dealership. Of course, my satellite radio still not functioning due to me declining to pay 1600.00 for a problem that occurred with them working on my car. And my computer system is now out of whack; voice commands no longer working, cd player not working, sound system poor sounding. I could have taken my car to a non-Cadillac qualified mechanic but felt Cadillac was top of line service. I am sick about the condition my car is now in. A couple of similar unethical instances happened to me within the past 2 years but were resolved satisfactorily via escalation so I continued to do business with this location but with this last instance and seeing this is a trend and now their normal practices, it’s clear I need to get the attention of someone who cares about the bottom line of the company. What Im asking for is the dealership take ownership for their work which is the right thing to do -- refund my money for the incident that occurred while they had my car (mechanic took my car home) and put my car back in the condition it arrived in, working satellite radio (which I’m paying monthly services for) and reset or adjust my computer system. Voice commands no longer work. All inside controls and functions were working perfectly prior to the major repair done on my vehicle. The work they performed had nothing to do with these issues but obviously the way they reassembled my vehicle affected these things. They tore my engine down; kept my car 2 1/2 months, something obviously went wrong.Suburban Cadillac is using dealership mechanical lingo and rhetoric to mask what really happened and it is extremely frustrating that they have charged me 3111.00 plus 750.00 within 30-days to return my car to me out of whack and satellite radio not working. The radio is fine but the XM Satellite whom I’m paying monthly subscription is no longer working after car pickup. I filed a complaint with GM website, mailed a letter to corporate and spoke with someone finally at GM Customer Care on 10/17/17. They stated they spoke with Suburban Cadillac and must believe the experts and it’s nothing they can do. She was young and appeared insincere and indifferent to what had happened to me. She spoke very fast as if reading from a script and closed the matter. So now I’m reaching out to Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney General because the dealership has taken my money and left my vehicle with problems and no repair shop wants to go behind their work. Respectfully, Ripped-Off Customer.

There are lots of Cadillac models. However I was only shown large models and SUVs. There was a nice large car, a few Coupes and the Escalade, which is an SUV and what I choose. There were some models with wi-fi and rear mounted cameras so that a person can see whats behind them as they back up. There were some with GPS and SiriusXM satellite radio, leather interior and natural wood grain panels. Then I was able upgrade to get a more durable stitching so that the seats would last longer, a rear facing camera, wi-fi and an extra row of seats in the back that is removable. The original model was capable of seating 6 comfortably. I opted for the removable back row because I shop at Sams and usually need the extra room.

This brand has a good selection of models to choose from whether it be 4 door, one, 2 door, or sports type car. I like to have a fun car and I like to buy something that gets my friends and family attention so having a Cadillac is a eye catcher within itself and I like that. The car is totally loaded and has everything a car seeker with prestige could ask for. Its style and easy to maneuver. The color is shiny and holds its coloring so when it is dirty it does not even look that bad. The system in the car sounds good for an manufacture system. I trust the brand and I like the way it flows when I drive it and the attention I get from driving the car. I love the cd player and I like being able to take along my phone and use it in my car to hear different tracks. I like that the model every year is adding different options for their customers to select from. Now this kind of car is not really for the whole family if you have a lot of children and even though I have the grandkids it is enough room for everyone to safely fit into without being squash.

2004 Cadillac SRX - I purchased a 2004 Cadillac SRX a few years ago 85,000 miles. Ive never heard of the car and was excited to own such a great looking car. Everywhere I went people gave me compliments (I had to swag it out a bit :) ). I loved the way this car looked - it definitely stands out from the rest. However, this car was a love hate relationship - starting from the 1st week. The car spent more time in repair shop than I actually drove it. Im a bit smarter now. Purchasing a car close to 100k is a bad idea. You just might as well buy a newer car. The repairs went into the thousands easily. Everything was breaking down and needed to be replaced. I was afraid to even drive the car after while, because the car can just shut down if there is a problem (youre unaware of)/I wouldve like some type of warning sign. Long story short - I ended up parking the car for a while until I was able to buy a new car (foreign). I still love they way they look but I would never buy one again. These cars are all over Craigslist now for pretty cheap which should tell you a lot.

I purchased a new 2013 Cadillac CTS Coupe in July 2013. A week after purchasing the car, I noticed a popping sound when I put the car in reverse and turned the wheels. The dealership determined that the rear differential must be replaced. They replaced rear differential and 2 month later, the right rear differential seals were leaking fluid. Car returned to dealer for this repair. I have since contacted an attorney to pursue a buyback from Cadillac under the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act. The right side weather stripping/molding had to be replaced as it would not seal completely and water would enter my vehicle when it rains or when at the car wash. Cadillac says this does not qualify as a defect therefore they are only willing to grant a minimal goodwill cash offer. Cadillac/General Motors is pathetic.

With barely 60,000 miles on my 2014 SRX, the CUE system began to fail. It started with the bottom middle not being able to be accessed. After a few weeks, the entire touchscreen is inoperable. I took it in for service and was told by my service advisor that it needed replaced. I asked him why - I wanted detailed information as to what was wrong with the screen. He said, I dont know, I only know it needs replaced. Of course, the Gold $3000 Extended Warranty that I purchased from my dealership doesnt cover the CUE system. I was told it would cost $1500 to replace it. He went on to tell me that it is a very common problem with Cadillacs... So much, that the part is out of stock and would be indefinitely. I have owned both BMW and Lexus in past years, and I have never had a problem this costly. I went to Cadillacs website and contacted customer service through email with the details of my complaint and was told that they couldnt do anything. Yes, it is a problem that they are aware of, but since it wasnt a safety issue, they didnt feel they had to remedy the situation. All I can say is, Thanks, Cadillac... I am glad to see others testimony; however, Im disturbed because its like deja vu.People need to stop lying down on these issues. People (GM) need to be held accountable. The government needs to listen to the people about GM. Our economy is going to collapse if people believe they are being betrayed simply for buying into the American dream. This is not the way to instill buying confidence in the American consumer. Toyota, Acura, Honda, Mitsubishi, okay. But in the immortal words of Woody Harrelsons character in Zombieland, You dont ** with another mans Cadillac.Protest to your local dealership, throw hundreds of business cards/flyers across their lots with statements of your experience. If everyone has the same stories, it will pick up attention. Post Facebook articles or comment on fan pages (there are a few). We are not complaining about our government or other free services and I know none of us expect a handout. We are complaining about being lied to for being hardworking, taxpaying, American car owners. However, in the end, we are suckers. Buddhists, Communists, etc., have warned us about the trappings of consumerism and that we were being sold a bill of goods. As much as it kills me to say it as an American military veteran, maybe they were right.

Shortly after buying a new 2013 ATS the CUE went blank and stopped working. Because it was under warranty the dealer replaced it. Not long after the warranty expired, the screen cracked looking like a spider web. It will not work to touch, it changes functions automatically and the Bluetooth wont stay connected! I loved my car and would have bought another Cadillac in a minute if this hadnt happened or if Cadillac would replace the using. Their lack of commitment to making it good has lost me as a loyal Cadillac owner. Im looking elsewhere for my next new car.

I purchased a 2012 Cadillac SRX with navigation package in February 2012. Upon first use, the navigation system placed me about 1/3 mile away from destination. I contacted the Cadillac dealer and they verified the problem. The dealer ordered a new navigation disk but the same errors occurred. The dealer tested the navigation system on other SRXs on the lot and all had the same problem. The dealer contacted the Cadillac representative who said that nothing would be done until the 2014 model year. I noted that the navigation system instructs the driver to make wrong turns which could result in a fatality if the driver was to enter the wrong way on a one-way street. Cadillac would not correct the problem! The Cadillac rep said that Cadillac plans no correction. If I learn of a fatality, I can document everything stated above.

We have enjoyed our Cadillac SRX, but have the headlight fogging issue. We were out of the country when they issued the recall but missed it when we came back. They stated basically that we were out of luck. Earlier this year they offered $200 towards a $1200 repair bill to replace both headlight assemblies. We cant see with the headlights on low beam and have to place them on high beam. In checking with Cadillac today they are standing by their offer. We will not buy another Cadillac and will be telling anyone we encounter that is looking to purchase a luxury car to stay away from Cadillac because of their lack of support. I have had much better success from Lexus and Ford with issues like this. I will stay with these brands.

What they had then and what they have now are different. A Cadillac no matter what model is a prime car at that time and very dependable. You cant go wrong with one. This was my 1st car in 1962. It had a sleek body style with sort of mud flaps called wings which clipped on the back tires. It had everything the cadillac had to offer. Radio, heat, air which was about it back then. The car had both a front and a back full bench seat that would ride 6 to 8, very comfortable and has plenty of leg room.

It is very stylish and has great value. It is noticed by everyone and makes your status go higher because it runs smooth and looks awesome and is also reliable. They offer various upgrade and you can get radio system, internet or new tires that can be custom. Also can get leather and in different colors and different styles. It has very good room and actually can fit 3 people in front if needed. It also has automatic seats that can recline and easily put on how you would be comfortable in seating.

New run flat tires installed on 2016 Cadillac. If they get a flat you must buy and install a new tire at a cost of $300.00 plus they cannot be repaired and this is not considered a road hazard defect under warranty description. This is not made known to the buyer as a fact until you get a flat that should cost about $30.00 to repair on all older type tires. The sad part is if you get another flat tire by a nail or anything else you would have to buy another new tire. The car does not come with a spare or tools to change your tire.
