I have sunk nearly 8,000 dollars into a 2002 Buick Rendezvous because I was locked into a car note and could not afford another car. Sad day when you want to buy American but the product is subpar to competitors. Not only that most of the owners of these cars dont even know that they will never be able to go more than 3 months without an expensive repair of some type, be it transmission, hub bearings, differential, cooling and heating, relays, window motors, power steering, etc., it goes on and on. I will never buy another Buick and hope others will take the time to research the product before they purchase this money pit. I love American products, I wish that the producers loved us enough to produce something that wont bankrupt you, or at least pretend you are listening. I have no transportation after paying 12,000 car note plus 8000 dollars + in repairs.

At 45K miles, she gave the car to me. 45-year-old male, perfect driving record, & preventative maintenance freak. At 48K miles, the transmission began slipping at various times & in various gears. Took it straight to dealer, the warranty was expired 6 months ago due to time, not mileage. The dealer charged me $212 to tell me the tranny was slipping (knew that). Said it would cost me $1,200 just to drop it & diagnose. Suggested I go with a GM rebuilt for $4,800. They said Buick would not help me with repairs or discount the parts, even with only 48K miles. I took it a couple blocks down the road for a $3,000 rebuilt tranny with a 1-year warranty. The bottom line is this was my last try with an American car. I have owned 10 vehicles: 4 Toyotas, 1 Nissan, 3 GM, and 2 Dodge. I still have 1 of the Toyotas with 94K miles & never a problem. I have never gotten to 75K on any of the American cars without major tranny or engine trouble. The opposite with the foreign brands, never any major trouble. Call it luck, I call it obvious & have finally learned my lesson. I will stay with Toyota for life.

At the time the car was purchased, my mother needed a car that was easy to get in and out of with limited mobility. It has been reliable, comfortable transportation for 9 years. The bench front seat has been especially welcome when driving with two small dogs. Ive never owned an American car that has lasted so long. However, there is a switch for the heater and air conditioner that corrodes from condensation. The entire dashboard needed to be removed to replace it. They should make something like that easier to access for repairs.

I was told that a camshaft was broken and that it would be easier to have the engine replaced instead of trying to fix the camshaft. I kept the vehicle maintained on a regular basis. I replaced at least 3 water pumps, 3 intake manifold gaskets, 2 EGR Valves, as well as other repairs. I didnt find out about the Dex-Cool recall until 2009 when the car stopped running. This explains why I had to replace water pumps, intake gaskets, and EGR valves so frequently. Is there any help for people like myself who cant afford to keep sinking money into cars in which the Dex-Cool product caused other problems?I am without an automobile. I had the vehicle towed to a repair shop to have an engine installed but finding an engine with low mileage is next to impossible. The cost for a used engine with over 200,000 miles was $1,700. A rebuilt engine will cost $2,800. The blue book value of the vehicle is around $1,900 if its in excellent condition.The junk yard will probably give me about $100. The body of the car is in excellent condition. I have looked for used vehicles in the $1,500 to 3,000 price range and the mileage is considerably higher than the mileage on my vehicle or the vehicles history in general is in question or both.

The car would not change gears and if I put my foot on the gas it had power but no acceleration. When I took/towed it to the dealer, after their check, I was told they could not find anything wrong with the transmission, sensors, nothing...except the brakes!I was told I do not drive my car very much, 7000 miles in 13 months, and my brakes pads were sticking causing the sensors to be confused, and the car did not know what gear it was to be in so it stopped. This does not seem possible to me...however, I am not the expert. I do not want to spend $650.00 on an overall brake job and still have the same problem. I definitely do not want to be on the highway and lose control like this, no acceleration and no gears.

Frustrated and disappointed owner of a 2010 Buick Enclave CXL with 86,000.00 miles. I cannot begin to describe how awful my experience with Buick and this Enclave has been. Ive owned this vehicle for 3 years bought it used at 30,000 miles with full maintenance records including tune ups and oil changes. Since Ive had the vehicle I have experienced the following: I have been left stranded on the freeway 4 times with 3 small children ranging from ages 3 months of age to 5 years of age with the same recurring issue Reduced engine power. I kid you not, the vehicle begins to fail locks up and then shuts off. I cant begin to describe how incredibly dangerous and frightful that experience is of having your vehicle shut off on you while traveling at 50-70 miles an hour with small children in the vehicle. And to make matters worse its out of warranty so I have paid over 13,000.00 in repairs alone. At least once a year our beloved family car shuts off and leaves us stranded in an incredibly dangerous situation and all Buick can say is we are sorry, you have had such a negative experience with this vehicle. Maybe its just a bad batch, lets offer you a newer model. As delightful as that sounds its not something I cant afford to do when I have paid you in full for a vehicle that doesnt work. And these vehicles are not cheap. Yes its a beautiful vehicle and has great features such as on star, blue tooth, heated leather seats, full 3rd row, towing capabilities, wood trim and all the other bells and whistles but Ive spent more money than any consumer needs to pay for a newer vehicle with low mileage. Since May of 2013 Ive had the following issues, power steering failure, reduced engine power (yearly occurrence), replacing a water pump twice, fuel injectors twice and transmission issues and those AC failing on one side of the vehicle. My biggest concerns are Safety and Reliability, your vehicles are not safe. I am proof of that and I have all the towing documents and dealership repair receipts to prove it. When you hear Oh my goodness, you are all lucky to be alive from your own Buick service technicians and other customers when explaining to them why your car is not working and why you were walking in from a ride on a small and uncomfortable tow truck with 3, yes 3 small children in car seats... you might just want to reach out to your customer and offer them a replacement or reimbursement. This is not how I would handle my business, this is not the type of poor service or experience any customer should endure, especially a client who has been loyal and understanding and paid their vehicle on full. I hope this helps other very frustrated consumers like myself who do not plan on remaining silent while companies like Buick continue to make money and make mistakes that might one day cost us our lives.

My wife took it in to Highland Dealership in Aurora, ON and she was told after a thorough check up that there was nothing to worry about and she could drive it safely. Four days later, I took the car back to the dealership complaining about the same noise. Later on that day, they called me to let me know that the transmission broke down while they were test driving it.Again, the car was maintained regularly as per the maintenance manual at the GM dealership and they had flushed the transmission at 65K. The transmission broke down at 124K. I have never pulled or towed anything with the car. I was surprised, called in to GM Canada customer service to complain and was told by a manager that regular car maintenance at the dealership means nothing and will not elongate the life of the car. What had happened was an expected mechanical failure and is due to bad luck! Sorry, you are on your own and the dealership that repaired my car gave me an excellent deal and I should be happy. I just could not believe my ears and after all the expensive maintenance as recommended by GM at a GM dealership, it does not elongate the life of a car and GM Buick transmission is made to last only 120K?!

Plenty of room for 5 plus passengers in basically every one of their vehicles. And plenty of room in the trunk and still more than enough room in the inside of the vehicles. I had researched and found where other people had the issue and it went away a few thousand miles. Then in November at 3500 miles, it happened going down the highway at 50 mph and threw me forward in the car. Then once coming to a stop, I was unable to move in reverse, it made an awful sound and would not move. It would still go in drive but again cut out heavily. The car was towed to the dealer for repair.I am now told that the tool needed to repair my transmission was just ordered last week, over two weeks of having my car, that the tool would not be received until the end of December or first part of January. I am disappointed that GM would not approve for a complete transmission replacement as opposed to repair. I purchased the car loaded with every feature and I am most upset how long I am being deprived from the car.

The dealership ended up repainting the hood. I’m really concerned about the topcoat on this vehicle. My paint is actually stained from a maple trees droppings. This was in a small but high traffic road where street parking is the parking of choice. I have never had anything like this happen. Oct. 27, 2014 - agreed to buy a 2014 Buick LaCrosse, model Leather using a trade-in low mileage 2004 Buick LaSabre Limited. The sales person provided the normal sales pitch, but neglected to tell us the car he was selling to us have been used as a loaner to folks who brought their car into the dealership for service (it had 5,654 miles on it). By the time we found this out, we had already made up our minds, the car we just took out for a test drive was the one we wanted. This was just before the dealership was to lock up for the Labor Day weekend, and we were supposed to come back the day after Labor Day and complete the transaction, which we did.Day after Labor Day - after completing the paper work to buy the car, we left with the new car. After about a week or two of use, we felt the car rode very rough, and more like a truck than a car. Unfortunately, we had to leave town until after the Christmas Holiday season, so we let the situation go until after the first of the year. Sometime in January 2015, I started writing emails directly to GM. GM responded first by having me take the car in for a check-up to be sure it didnt have a problem, which it did not in their eyes. It then instructed the dealer to contact me to see what could be done.Feb. 25, 2015 - the dealership did ask us to come in, and I met with the sales manager who turned us over to the sales person who sold us the initial car. Since I had been told they would not change the tires, I asked what it would cost to give them the car back in turn for buying the same car, but move up one year and one model (i.e. buy a 2015 Buick LaCrosse model Premium) with a better suspension system. The sales person took what seemed to be an hour, and came back with a figure of $14,141.31 in addition to the $37,050 we had already paid (including my trade-in). To that we said no way and left the dealership. Feeling there was no way we could receive any kind of justification from the dealership, we left. This was 2/25/2015, and we stopped trying to get them to do something ever since. The car is a nice car, but it still rides rough! Even with a tire reduction in air pressure! We just flat-out gave up! Hereafter, after owning a Buick over 20 years and thinking very highly of it, I doubt seriously if I will ever buy another or even a GM car in the future!

It has been a blessing to me and my family. It has the sporty look that I love. Came in my favorite color which is black. I enjoyed the sun roof as a commodity on days when I didnt wanna run my air conditioner. The back camera on the license plate and the Aux cord was a plus too. The lights on the rear bumper view let you really see behind you. Although, I had a small car so you fit just the people I needed. The trunk has more than enough space on it. The passenger seat was heat and air conditioning in that side.

After retrieving the error codes which show that cylinders 1, 3 & 5 are misfiring she contacts the dealer who asks if this was the 1st time this has happened, to which she answers yes. The dealer then states that this is a common occurrence & that this GM 3.6 liter V6 engine misfires but not to the point of creating a mechanical issue. After doing some research I come to find out what appears to be plenty of reports/complaints of the exact issues (& plenty more) that shes having.The check engine light eventually goes off the following day just to come back on about a week later but this time causing the vehicle to completely shut off & losing the power steering while navigating a left turn onto a busy freeway on ramp. Once again its the same error codes so after advising her she contacts Buicks Customer Care 800 number to assist her getting this issue resolved. After being reassured by a supervisor she makes an appt to drop her car off & be placed in a loaner. On the day the car was dropped off no loaner was available until almost end of business day at which time shes told shell be charged another hour of diagnostic fees ($119) because after having the vehicle from 8am they were not able to diagnose the problem but do state that theyve discovered what appears to be rodent damage, yes rodent damage to a wire harness. What they dont realize is that I removed the top cover that protects the cylinders to inspect & take a few pictures prior to the vehicle being arranged for drop off. As a foot note the vehicle is parked in a garage in Goodyear, AZ every night where there is no rodent problem.She is now waiting to hear back from Yates Buick. The vehicle is also experiencing transmission issues (delay in shifting/jolting) as well as an odor from the AC unit, the driver seat doesnt always recognize one of the programmed memory settings & although the heated side mirrors function is turned off, when the vehicle is started through the remote start feature they turn on. This vehicle has 54,000 miles & is in great exterior condition. Hoping that GM (Buick) stands behind their name & brings the vehicle back to a reliable working condition that one would expect for the price one shells out. Stay tuned for the outcome.

I have driven 2 other 2012 Lacrosses and no jerk, a 2013, a 2014 and just today a 2015 and no jerk. It is the car and this is just the start of problems. I just had a mechanic from a totally independent shop to ride in my car tonight and he felt the jerking. He feels that there are transmission problems and I was told by several mechanics that a jerk that can be felt so strongly is not normal. I will never own another GM vehicle in all my days. This will be the last one.

I had my fuel pump replaced, had to have my fuel drained, lines cleaned and because of the E85 gas I used Im still having issues. The dealership advised me not to use E85 again. GM has a bulletin out since Jan. 30, 2017 saying E85 is damaging these vehicles but REFUSED to help me when I filed a complaint. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM GM. They will not back up their product ESPECIALLY since this is a mistake on their part! I will be contacting legal help concerning this matter.

However I did have several manufacturer issues. In the first 2 years I had to 1. Force dealership to replace windshield because there was literally a full hand print within the windshield (during manufacturing someone touched either the glass or the safety plastic thats inside before glass was finished or fused together. It was right in my line of sight. Dealership went round and round finally they admitted they could see the issue and agreed to replace under warranty. 2. Rear window replaced. A strip in the heating element stopped working. Dealership had nerve to ask me if I could live with it... REALLY?? Its unset warranty of course I want it replaced. The factory paint job was sub par. I didnt realize it at first but it became obvious quickly. The bottom part of rear wheel wells behind where you catch ask the runoff and splash from tires started fading right away. Hood, bumper, roof all chipped way too easily... Regardless of these things I loved the Verano. It was totaled in an accident in 2015. I immediately bought a 2015 Verano. This one was way better, loved the build in wifi/ 4G LTE. It also came with advanced safety features and improved touchscreen infotainment.Only had 1 flaw that I didnt even realize. When I had it at a different dealership for oil change, I was going to buy touch up paint. The service manager was looking at my car and noticed few spots not quite right. Turned out after they flew someone from their GM headquarters out to Portland Oregon. He confirmed that my car was one of a select batch that had defective paint jobs. So they put me in a loaner for almost 3 weeks and my Verano had to be completely repainted. Since they contract that out, I was lucky enough to get a way better paint job than manufacturer. So as of just 2 months ago I finally got the car I always wanted but its usually way too expensive for my taste lol. I saw a 2014 Buick LaCrosse fully loaded and a premium pearl diamond paint job heads up display. This car was $47, 000 brand new. It was a one owner lease and had incredibly low miles on it. It still looked and smelled new. They were selling it for $21.000. I didnt hesitate I knew it wouldnt last long.. So far Im in heaven with my LaCrosse. I really cant find anything wrong with it. Its powerful, very quiet, feels sporty as well as elegant and comfortable... FINGERS CROSSED! So, obviously Ive had opportunity to change brands but I really do like Buick. I had never driven or owned one before 2012. Unless Buick introduces another great model I really want. I may most likely change to a different look and feel. I hope this helps anyone with questions or doubts.

But when we could not get them to work from two month, we had someone check it out. It was found that the fuse was not working. When they pulled out the fuse, it was a 20-amp fuse and not a 15-amp fuse. We tired a new fuse, and it blew it out as soon as we hit the button. Then we took the car to Beaverhead Motors in Dillon, MT and they check it out more and found the wiring was all melted together. When we asked Billion auto group they help with it, they said no and that they would not help. We had a lot of Buicks in the past and have liked them, but with the way Billion was with us, we will not have anymore Buicks or GMC cars or trucks.

Id press down from a stop light and the car would barely move (1000 miles on it then). Then coming home from work my wife was getting on the freeway, she pushed down, hardly did anything, had to punch it. When she did it moved, but the AC turned off altogether. We contacted Buick about this problem (acceleration) and they said put higher octane gas in it, it might solve the problem. REALLY!!! Come to find out after many phone calls that the Turbo in the Buick Encore cant take the higher temps and will hesitate badly when pushing down on the gas. Theyre working on it so they say.Ive even spoken with people in Detroit who say the Engineers are working to find a solution. Yet, they are still selling these cars without telling anyone of the consequences. I believe the Engineers and top Exec knew of this problem and just told the dealers to sell them anyway. We will never buy a Buick again. In closing let me say that many dont realize how many days over 100 degrees we have in AZ, NV, CA, TX and a few other states. Last year we had 99 days over 100 degrees. This year is expected to be more and yet even at 100 or 105 this car acts up. The other thing many dont realize is that here in AZ like many other western states our humidity is only about 5-15% most of the time. Thats extremely Dry and means that Sun is hotter. We dont have any moisture in the air to speak of. This is very telling on the cars and people. This is why Buick needs to DO SOMETHING NOW!!!

My one owner 97 was purchased from a Buick dealership 3 yrs ago with only approx.117,000 miles. I figured was going to last until I quit driving as Im 66. In the first 5 miles I drove, the check engine light came on. My sister who got the car for me was adamant it was fine when she drove home and dew places trying it out. She had to have them replace the battery before she got it. We took to a garage where the gas cap was replaced and the man said that was probably all it was. Light went off till filled up next day to return back to me home...right back on, was running fine so ignored it, drove 225 miles home. About 2 months later after having auto parts house check codes went off. Stayed about 1 month. The next time came on, different code showed up. Had towed in to shop after wouldnt start and they kept 2 days, said couldnt find anything wrong. Week later stranded me a second time ..so after waiting about 20 min it started up. Got home...son looked, checked all wires etc...said didnt see a problem. I drove back 225 miles. Back in July, got there - had to have water pump replaced and the air quit working on. Hi fan only works on med. Now for 3 yrs I have had nothing but problems. Replaced starter because after having to bump start to try get going, it went out. Wires plugs all small stud trying to fix, nothing has worked. The car cut completely off while going down highway at 55, 6 months after got it. Now happens about once every few weeks, nothing works at all. Cant steer and so afraid someone will hit me trying to get off road. This car is only transportation I have and on fixed income. Cant afford another one, still owe my sister about 1000 dollars on it. She pd $3500.00 at Buick dealership in Statesville N.C for it. She just recently had to replace thermostat and needs serpentine belt which I have but not on yet. The other thing is the not starting when you drive. Make a stop or 2 then wont crank....have to wait at least 12 - 15 min. Sometimes you get lucky and it started. Most of time you have a cycle 1st try 12 min....2nd, wait 15 - 20 more min, then wait full 20 min again. Usually 3rd time after waiting up to as much as an hour she cranks...but has had to be let sit in yard at home for several hours before will start.This is serious and needs to be addressed, this car is dangerous and needs to be on the switch problem recall. Im at my wits end with nothing to fix it with. Yes it was a used car but supposedly according to your dealership was a heck of a car. Nothing but worry and problems, since Ive had it Im stuck. Please help me before I become one of your GM statistics.

Not being told that this car was in an accident totaling $5600.00 on 10/09/2009 on the right side of the car, 2 doors and front fender was replaced. I have located the body shop manager that was there at the time and he remembers the car and what happened to it. The owner of Ewing Buick loaned this car to his housekeeper to clean his house and his mother’s house at the time. She was in an alleyway and a homeowner came out of his driveway not seeing her and hit the LaCrosse on the passenger side. The car was repaired at Ewing Buick and then back out on showroom floor to sell. When I walked into Ewing Buick on 12/29/10 to buy a car, Rosemary was my sales representative, a very nice person. She did tell us, my husband and me, that the car had a dent on the front bumper, but it was fixed so they would take off a $1000.00 for that. Also, she had Randy, the finance officer, to come in and tell me about the dent on the bumper also. I guess to make sure I was aware of it. My husband and I both said that Rosemary told us about it. I asked how it happened and the excuse given to us was that the car was being cleaned up and the porter did not realize he had hit the post. My husband and I did not think anything about it because they fixed the bumper. But this is a far cry from the wreck that really happened on 10/09/2009 that we were not told about. We found all this out because I was in an accident on 10/20/2011 this year. I was pinned inside this car for 45 minutes because the doors would not unlock. I had the car taken to Ewing Buick for repairs because that is where I bought it from. About 3 weeks into fixing the car, we got a call from our insurance company telling us this car was in another wreck on 10/ 2009 we told them no because we had bought this car off the show room floor on 12/29/2009. Allstate pulled the VIN and said that it was in another wreck totaling $5600.00. My accident cost about $ 7700.00, replacing 2 doors and back fender on the left side of the car. I went to Ewing Buick on 12/28/2011 to talk to them about the wreck on 10/09/2009 and the General Manager was rude and said that they did tell me and my husband about the wreck. So I am now asking for General Motors to look into this dealership and how it is being run. They did not tell us about the wreck in 2009. I have now contacted Rosemary and she is willing to help us and tell that we were not told about this wreck at anytime. Also, I have Michael, the ex body shop manager, to tell everything about this car also. All I want is for Ewing Buick to make this right. I will get a lawyer if I need to and I will also have Channel 8 and 5 to do a little more on looking into this also if I need to. We are coming to them because we have always bought their cars and would want to continue.

My full review of this 2018 Buick Enclave Avenir is yet to be made as Ive only had it for a few weeks. However, to say Im completely satisfied out of the box that answer is a big NO. All the technology on this car can be quite confusing and to make that point try and call the OnStar service to find out about those things that are not clear in the manual and theyll put you on hold to go look in the manual. Really, their support people are poorly trained and somewhat useless when you call. No auto rain sensing windshield wipers which even the salesperson didnt know as he tried to convince me that we had them after Id called and had to turn them on and off in a rainstorm wed driven through. Connect 10 Bluetooth devices including your phone yet if youre using another device other than your phone, then your phone wont answer through the car. Hands free on the phone is one of the most important features a car can have for obvious safety reasons. Im still working out what I like and dislike about the car but with a car that costs you over $60,000 youd expect the simple things to be there and to work. On one last thing with Onstar, not sure whether they outsource it or not as have talked to a few who I cant even understand other than not being able to answer simple questions. Its a comfortable ride, quiet and great space when third row seats down but many other cars have that and the above problems not there. Just a bit disappointed.

December 13, 2017 my vehicle would not start, Buick roadside came out and jumpstart my vehicle. So as of right now Im fed up, Im having more problems with this brand new vehicle. The mechanic specialist at the dealership cannot find the issue. Buick roadside service had to come out multiple times to jumpstart my vehicle or tow. I sat on OnStar for three in half hours to try to get someone to tow the vehicle to Buick in Richmond or Concord. I end in Richmond around 430 am on Saturday and had to catch Uber from Richmond to Antioch. My vehicle was left on the streets cause Buick didnt have no open drop off location with a situation like this nor a drop box for keys. I went back to the dealership Saturday morning about 9 am. I was told that its nothing they can do to my car until Thursday or Friday of the following week. My vehicle would have to stay on the street until Monday morning. As of today Im trying to use the Buick roadside assist to tow my vehicle from the Buick in Richmond to Concord. Thats hassle, I spoke with a young man at Buick roadside and he stated that someone will give me a call within four hours due to my situation. No callback! I called this morning and received a little help, still waiting for the call back about my tow from Richmond to Concord. Im going have to take further action, cause I know Buick most likely not going to let me out of the contract. THIS VEHICLE IS A LEMON!!!

It has leather seats which also come with the heated feature, it has steering wheel controls and 8 way adjustable seats and there is just too much to go through. There is no upgrade or personalization features except the memory seats but it really is a nice car. It can fit up to 4 passengers in my medium sized car and they dont have to worry about feeling crowded and it is really comfortable and all passengers enjoy it. I love the car a lot.

Guess what, I locked the drivers side door manually, my husband locked his door the front passenger door manually and I locked the back doors manually. When we made it back home we could not get out of the car. We manually unlocked our front doors but they were not unlocked. I had to take my door key, put it in the lock on the outside of door and unlock it while I was still sitting in the drivers seat.After I got out of the car I had to unlock the passenger door. The back doors unlock from the inside but not the front doors. I had called Buick. A Foreigner told me since I bought the car used and for how old it is, she could not help me. That it was not under warranty. I told her if I ever get stuck in this vehicle from a wreck, fire, etc. There will be a big lawsuit. I have never in my life had a car that would lock me out of it or in it. I never lock the doors while I am in it. But when I park it at home or out shopping I lock the doors. I did some research and found that Buick has been problems with this issue. I took my car back to the repair shop and they looked and found that there was a special coverage adjustment for this. It extended the coverage for 10 years or 150,000 miles. They say they will pay for the expenses if they have already been done. I was told I was mailed a recall in 2014, which I did not. This was about the time I purchased the car used. The representative had my mailing address as MA not MS. Then said it was MS.Bottomline, they refuse to pay for it, saying my deadline was 2015 and I should have taken it to a dealer. I had no knowledge there was a recall (even though it had been in dealer earlier in year) and did not have issues until late 7/2016. If I did, why would I take it to a local repair shop. Guess the 10 year extension really does not mean the paper it is printed on. The local dealer would not even attempt to help with getting a refund, even though on page 14 it says they should help. Not please with the Buick family with my first Buick. Likely to be last due to this.

Every model of GMC auto that has this motor has the same problem. After several conversations with the executive customer service department I came to the conclusion that they will not acknowledge this problem unless we force them to. If everyone that has experienced this problem begin by writing unto their state consumer protection dept we can begin to put pressure on the company to acknowledge the problem. If this does not work then there are other steps we can take.

The vehicle had to be towed via flatbed truck. Windshield and airbag a huge safety concern. I have had two GM vehicles, one an 07 Malibu and this 06 Buick Rendezvous. The Malibu was part of a massive recall and I feel like GM needs to take a further look into the quality of vehicles they are selling, while placing thousands of people in harms way.

After acceleration issues on the highway I have been informed that I should also have a manufacturers warranty on the vehicle. It spent about a week in the service department at the dealership. I purchased it at for a cosmetic piece, they agreed to fix when I purchased it. During that time they were supposed to inspect my current problem which was that the check engine light came on while on the highway and I could not fully accelerate. Their conclusion was that they could find nothing wrong. So about 24 hours later on my trip back on the highway, the check engine light went back on again. Not only could I not fully accelerate, I could not get the vehicle to go into gear at all. The gear shift would blink when I put it into drive but would not go. I had to get towed to the dealership which I had to pay $100.00 for. And now after getting my vehicle back yesterday afternoon (after two weeks) and being told it was a system update that needed to be done and all was well, I found myself once again on the highway with a check engine light and not able to fully accelerate. I was able to coast home obviously under the speed limit but I have called the dealership where I bought the vehicle and tried two different 800 numbers that I have and cannot find anyone jumping out of their seats to try and fix my car. Needless to say I am displeased and concerned. I just want my vehicle running correctly and safely and want to feel good about this purchase. And I would love some assistance in making this happen!!!

I later think that he did not use it because it is not worth it! Within a month of purchasing the car, the drivers side window went out. I had that replaced, no biggie, I understand there are costs with cars. Then a year later, the air conditioner went out. I live in California and with temps over 100 degrees in the summer, my small children and I need air. The repair was just under $1,000. That repair lasted a year and a half. The air went out again. However, shortly after the air went out, so did the engine! To have the heads replaced, it was $3,500. I contacted Buick directly at that time and got the Oh, well, sorry you are having problems, but thats not our problem response. In paying for the engine work, I could not afford the work on the air again. So, I have been without air and just try to drive as little as possible when it gets hot outside.I get my regular oil changes and took it in for that last week and was told I have an oil leak now. There goes another $500 dollars. Well, that is what they quoted me. I need a few weeks to come up with the extra cash. But once they get under the hood, we will see how much more they find. If I could stop paying for repairs long enough to save a little money, I would definitely be using it for a down payment on a non GM vehicle! But GM has made it practically impossible. I have since read about recalls that Buick has had over the years on this car. However, I have never been contacted over a single one of them! The car is now 10 years old and only has 112,000 miles on it. The reason, because it spends more time broken than it does running. Highly unhappy with Buick, I will never buy one again and will make sure my children do not either!

Theyre replacing the engine and that took a few weeks for the Buick dealer to get because there were problems getting the correct engine from GM. Then, when they installed it, it had a wrong part. The dealer had been trying to get that part from GM for weeks but no idea when they will get it. The dealer asked me to help by calling Buick Customer Service to escalate the problem of getting parts to the dealer. I have left messages every other day for over a week now and twice requesting a Supervisor but I still havent received a response from Buick. My car has been at the dealer a month and a half now, I have no car, no loaner, and still no response from Buick customer care. I recommend choosing a car made by a different company because what good is a warranty when they cant get parts to fix your car and nobody cares enough to return a phone call. Not a good company.

Buick offers a wide variety of sedans and suv like vehicles. They are all very luxurious and they ride very smooth. My Regal has a turbocharger that keeps the engine rpm really low. I love that my car can climb my hill ridden terrain and still get phenomenal gas mileage. The car has a wonderful sound system and Bluetooth connectivity, too. Also, the car is extremely roomy. I can fit four adults rather comfortably in back seat of the car and I love the dual climate control up front because my wife is always cold and I cant stand having the heat blow on my face. They are a very high quality vehicle manufacturer. I would recommend them to anyone.

I am told that this could affect the operation of the front airbags. Its as if the problem was caused by the sun. but his car has always been garage kept. The car was pruchased brand new from Perrine Buic / GMC of Cranbury, NJ.I dont feel that we should have to pay for this repair. It is a manufacturers defect and there should be a recall. Bought my 2017 Buick Cascada new and had no problems until June 29, 2019. Since then nothing but problems. Four attempts to repair at one dealership between June 30 and the middle of July. The dealership claimed they fixed/replaced crank shaft and can shaft three times and the issues were unrelated. Returned car to me leaking oil. Second dealership has had car since first week of August with turbo part 30 to 60 days out. GMC representative informed me that’s a parts issue not theirs and since they plan to repair it they are upholding their end of the deal. I thought the deal was a quality car?!?? Apparently the deal is provide bare minimum and expect consumer to be happy. I expected more from Buick. Should have stuck with Nissan. Less flash but a lot more reliable!
