With the amount of cars they have, its easy to find a capacity you need for your family or any other situation. Their cars have the best quality for tech that’s why they dont go cheap in my opinion. Upgrading is hard and complicated plus there are too many personalization options to choose from if you dont know what youre looking for.

Back in 2017, car had EPC light illuminated, would lose power while driving, would idle roughly and then not turn on. Had it towed to Audi Honolulu. Found electrical wiring burning through to the gas tank (couldve blown up) and so they replaced the gas tank and the wiring at their goodwill more like to save a lawsuit. Anyways April 2019 now, same issues with EPC light, idling and losing power then it not turning it on. Got it towed to Audi El Paso. Apparently, cylinder 1 and 2 in the engine are at 0 psi compression and we need a new engine.Mind you every service has been done at an Audi dealership and its only got 60,000 miles on it. Told they wont be covering any costs and told by Henry at Audi El Paso he wont even provide a loaner vehicle unless we agree to pay $10-13k for a new engine. What a joke. My thing is why wasnt this issue found in 2017 when the car had the exact same issues? Its their job to fix the car right. I am going to be taking my claim further until I get results. Googling the same car and I see so many people with the same issues. When will Audi take customers seriously? Makes you wonder how many Audis are a safety hazard driving around and could blow up any second. My families safety comes first and it should come first for Audi too.

I have a new 2017 Q7 Premium, 3500 miles. When pulling away from a stop sign or stop light, the engine pauses from time to time. So much so, that once in a while, it can be a safety hazard with oncoming traffic. Also, the GPS system works sometimes, and most of the time the routes are completely crazy, taking me 100s of miles out of the way of my destination. My car has been at the dealership for 5 days now, and they called yesterday to inform me that the pause is inherent to the vehicle, just get used to it! As for the GPS, corporate office knows it doesnt work, and they may or may not try and fix it?? So, this vehicle costs a pretty penny, but aint worth it. Im offering to leave it on their lot and walk away if I can have my money back??

Me and my wife own a 2014 Audi A6. Just pass 61000 miles. Last week I was driving the car and trying to make a left turn, the steering wheel get locked. Doesnt move the steering wheel left or right. Finally AAA took the car to the Audi dealership. Next day service advisor call me and tell me the steering wheel rock and pinion need to replace. The cost is $ 3500. I call Audi customer service, file a complaint, the lady told me she is going to review with the service dept. and let me know the updates. I wait for 6 days she never call me, I trying to reach her almost 6 times. Finally after 12 days she call me and tell me they cant help me this time. I dont know why she took that much time to say to me this answer. I never ever buy or lease another Audi, that for sure.

Quattro is the wagon 4.2 liter inline six cylinder all wheel drive dream car I own. I wanted a sportscar with room for all the kids and cargo. This is a wagon thats an Audi! Two thumbs... only Porsche has anything close to its class (in my eyes). I find my car incredibly beautiful with a sporty look and room for everyone. Lots of horse power to the wheels and luxury everything inside. I did get upgraded rim size and style and performance in the stock rims. They actually got me a set of official 19 inch Audi touring race car rims, so I didnt mind the great but overpriced touring sport tires they sold me when they got in.

My 2014 Audi Q5 was 1 year old in May 2015. I purchased it from Cavender in San Antonio, TX. My drive out price $60k. Every time I do a road trip more than 1.5 hrs I get excruciating pain in right leg. Last two cars were Lexus and BMW Z4 simultaneously. Never had this issue. Have talked with service dept and salesman multiple times even an email that included the owner. Have elevated issue to Audi cust support and talked/emailed with 2 ladies. The first just wanted to close the case. The second genuinely seemed concerned for the lack of cust svc and follow through by Cavender. I didnt want spectacular deals but didnt want them making a big profit on 1 year trade in or new car but we never even got close to those details. I am now looking at Volvo and Mercedes. Very disappointing. And everyone I know is accustomed to me keeping cars for a long time are asking why and getting all the details. Too bad Audi and Cavender.

I purchased a 2003 A4 Audi in 2007. On its first year, the engine and the radiator leaked, the engine bolts broke, the front axle cracked and the computer never works correctly. Also, the interior items were busted and the alarm died. I spent more on repairs than the car’s worth. When I contacted Audi of America, they did not respond to me.Sonnen is just as bad. They have very poor customer service and they lie about parts they say they fixed, with which I have proof. The whole experience with this car has been a nightmare as there is always something wrong with it. I have barely driven it.

I leased a q5. Great car, and a fine enough experience during my lease. However post lease the actions of Audi have me considering talking to a lawyer. Prepaid overage miles, was not credited. Called in to give them my transaction number and their office is not taking calls at this time due to high volume. No call back option, no hold option, and I get this message for a week straight of attempts. 2 weeks later I finally get through to the team, give them my prepaid transaction number and they said I should receive a zero account balance shortly. One month later I get a bill again without my prepayment applied. Again their phone number for Audi USA is not accepting calls. If this touches my credit which it has threatened to do I will have to seek a legal remedy. Ridiculous that I have to spend this much of my time and effort to fix their issues. Its a beautiful car but WALK AWAY!

There are lots of cars to select from. For example, cars range from SUVs to Sports Vehicles, like the Audi R8. Another very good vehicle to purchase would be the Q7. That SUV has everything a family needs to travel and not only is it good for traveling, it is very elegant too. All Audis offer all the newest and best technology up to date. They all have navigation, Bluetooth, etc. Most of the SUVs have sun roofs too. They are very beautiful from the inside and out. You can choose from no features, to all features. It gives you a wide option to personalize and and upgrade your vehicle. Another thing is that to upgrade it is very reasonable prices. The passenger capacity is also amazing. It has a very roomy passenger seat and backseat in the Audi Q7 and it still has lots of room in the trunk.

In 2014 I had purchased a 2006 Audi A3 with 30,000 miles, with a clean title. It was great for the first year or so and once it hit 60,000 miles, I had absolutely nothing but problems. Around 60,000 miles, I was on the expressway, and my car started to jolt back and forth, that ended up being because the fuel rail sensor went bad. A couple thousand miles later, my alternator goes bad, without any warning, leaving me stranded. Shortly thereafter, I was on my way to class and I had a severe cylinder misfire. Mind you, this is all within less than a years time. After all of those issues were fixed, I thought everything that could have possibly broken was fixed. Next thing you know, my A/C is now only blowing cold air when Im going 80 MPH down the expressway and blowing hot air when its idling or going slower than 80. I also got my car scanned to see why the check engine light turned on again, and it turns out that I have another two cylinder misfires and my fuel pump is going bad. This car only has 70,000 miles on it and has had more problems than I ever imagined. I am beyond disappointed in Audi and the quality of their vehicles and how unreliable they are. I will most definitely not be purchasing another Audi or any German car for that matter.

Ive purchased a brand new 2013 Audi S5 Cabriolet and took delivery from dealership in middle of 2012 with 4 years/50k warranty. 22 months into the ownership (at 9,500 driven miles) car started to pull to the side and required a wheel alignment at a cost of over $550. I was told that although the mileage was low, this wheel alignment is considered normal wear and tear. Although I strongly disagreed, I ended-up paying for it. Last week while driving, my front left tire completely deflated. After removing the tire in order to replace it with a spare I noticed that the inner part of rubber is showing steal metal belts. Next day I took the car to dealership and was told that:a) Car needs another wheel alignment (it currently has 19,300 miles on it). b) All 4 tires are under 3/32 (as measured by Audi Service Consultant) and need replacement even though they are rated for 50k. Since the car is still under warranty and since this is very odd that another alignments is needed and that I also now need to replace 50k rated tires on a car with 19,300 miles on it I called Audi Corporate office and opened a Case # ** with request for FULL reimbursement of expenses.Unfortunately Audi decided to decline my request, citing wear and tear. Im beyond of being disappointed and strongly disagree that this is normal wear and tear. After consulting with my legal counselor who has advised me that I have over 90% chance of successfully getting Audi to reimburse me for wheel alignment and tires and therefore, in addition to filing this complaint with bbb.org I will also be taking Audi to Small Claims court and will publish verdict with details of the case on as many blog sites as I can find. After all Im certain that Im not the only customer with similar problem and will make other consumers aware of possible issues/pitfalls they may be facing if they buy an Audi! Lack of responsibility by Audi after selling a luxury and expensive automobile in unacceptable and will not go unchallenged.

I financed a 2006 A4 Used from Douglas Motors in Summit. In less than two weeks, the headlights keep flickering off. They change one and didnt change the other. While it was still under warranty, I decide to buy the second headlight and have it changed by my personal mechanic ( I also took pictures). I went back to the dealership because the engine light came on. To my surprise, they took a diagnostic from a Volvo and try to pass if off as my Audi, telling me to pay $700 and something dollars for a repair that doesnt belong to my car. I went to my personal mechanic plus Audi to verify. Audi told me they only deal with P codes, whatever that meant. So I ask for a copy of my original diagnostic, they said its wrong and not company policy to disclose the paper work. Right now, my oil pump failed at 64000 miles, and I bought the car 53000 miles. The dealership never change batteries, Ive changed it since I got it. I changed tires. Please, I need help on what to do with this lemon car that Im financing.

I have a new 2019 Audi Q5, Prestige trim level, that comes with Active Lane Assist that will steer the car to the center of the road if you accidentally go over the line. There is an accompanying control that issues a loud DING and dash warning if the car thinks you are driving without hands on the wheel. The problem is that on straight roads, with hands on the wheel, I get frequent false alerts. Audi has implemented this by detecting if no input is sensed on the wheel for 15 seconds, it assumes no hands on the wheel and issues the alert. Driving me crazy! Dont buy this trim level. Waste of money and Audi just says the car is working to specifications, though other of their cars do not do this.

It varies from sport car models, to mid size suvs, to full size suv, and amazing cars. If youre looking for a car for the family then the Q7 is amazing, I love how smooth it drives. The appearance of Audi gives you that sleek, business, sophisticated look. Not only are Audis head turners, they also are remarkable on the inside with some of its features for the higher models. I personally like the backup cameras, the automatic mirrors, and the signal to let you know there is a car on the side of you. You can experience any upgrade such as the seats. Most cars come with the standard black leather seats, but you can replace it with the tan or red. For the Q7s I know they can fit 5 people comfortably and as far as the sport cars you have to be a short person to fit in it. The full size cars are extremely roomy.

The car is constantly in for service. 25 trips to dealer in 4 years. Towed 6 times. Purchased a new 2018 Audi Q7 in Newton New Jersey. During an inspection at another Audi dealer discovered that the car had a previous issue and it had been repaired. This is a new car! The car had a short that melted the wiring and harness as well as hose and covers leading back to the alternator. The repair was not done to Audi Specifications nor was it noted in any service documents. This is a new car? What happened? Who fixed it? It looked like some backyard mechanic did the work. Why was it not noted in a service record and why was it not disclosed to me. We would never have purchased this car. The second Audi dealer was so concerned they took photos of the damage and forwarded them to Audi USA.In addition it has been 60 plus days and we have no license plates or registration for the vehicle. The temporary permit expired 3 days ago and the dealer has not sent the plates. The dealer sent us a letter to offer to the Police asking for them to be patient as our plates are delayed. Can you believe this? All this has been reported to Audi USA. We were told this would be taken care of and we would get a new vehicle. We were told not to drive the car as is. How could we as we have no plates? Forward 5 business days and still nothing. I have rented a car and have taken legal action and filed a complaint with the New Jersey Attorney General’s office. Audi Newton defrauded us and worse has not provided the required license or registration. Audi USA has done nothing to remedy this unbelievable experience and now we are forced to take legal action. A 60 thousand dollar car purchase that cannot be driven. Stay away from Audi and Audi Newton NJ USA.

I bought an A4 a year and a half ago used but in incredible condition. Now for my confusing part. The car starts to idle rough, push the turn off button and keeps running for a few seconds. The engine light appears the next day. Ran code and came up timing. I then read it been quite the problem it seems. People having catastrophic engine failure at worst. I then see Audi has been sued.I contact the lawyer firm representing the plaintiffs (on the tensioner failure) and was sent a form because my Audi was one of the models affected. Was told as long as I bring it to an authorized Audi dealership it would be covered 100% and if brought to an independent repair shop $1500 would be covered. Well I called the only dealer near me 50 miles away and was told, Yes we are aware of the extended warranty and yes Audi will cover it. Okay great!!! Had the car flat bedded there. Got a call they received my car. Great then a service advisor called and said it would be a few days to a week to repair. I was told it a 10 hour job. I said okay. Then a few days later I called back because I had a question. The service advisor told me, I was just about to write you an email. I have some bad news. Audi will only cover 25% of the repair and need maintenance records. What!!!! What happened to you know all about the extended warranty and look forward to seeing your car. I said as far as the maintenance records they are all listed on Carfax. Was told they cant use that. (Why? Extended warranty companies use them along with Edmunds.) I dont know. Like I said Im confused completely. Its been over a week and havent heard a word back from anyone. I will say for the record the employees I did talk to were very polite but polite doesnt answer why I havent heard back about the status.

I leased my Audi Q5 on February 2021. For the last month and a half my car has been at the dealership 3 times due to it not starting consistently. Several alarm lights also showed upon the dash along with the engine light. Due to all of this I did not feel confident driving, so I notified the person who took care of my lease. This has been the worst customer service I have received in a dealership. Both Audi headquarters and the dealership neglected to do anything to remedy the situation. The only thing they offered was to attempt to sell me another car which of course, entails paying more money. On top of that in order to end the lease early I was being asked to pay more money as if I had caused the problem in the first place. Audi did not attempt to compensate me for all of the issues that popped up nor did they help me to lend a car as I awarded results. Absolute worst dealership and worst customer service (Audi South Orlando). Completely washed their hands and tried to shift the burden onto me. Very careless and neglectful. I am writing to express my severe disappointment with Audi USA. I purchased a 2006 Audi A6 4.2 taking delivery on March 17, 2008. I had the car certified and purchased an extended warranty. The car has been continually serviced and maintained by the dealership. On 5 July, the car wouldnt start and the check engine light came on. I had it towed to your dealership for service. Imagine my surprise when I was informed that the engine was destroyed due to a failed timing chain tensioner and the repair would cost me $11,073.001; the motor needed to be replaced. It is my experience that chain tensioners in motors with a timing chain are not a part expected to fail. My car only has 92,000 miles and I had been told the 4.2 is a rock solid motor. Apparently not. I thought that Audi would work to resolve the issue as a warranty issue, they did not. Research specific to the 4.2 seems to confirm that there is an issue with the timing chains and tensioners for that engine, though nothing official from Audi. Audi would cover only 50% of the parts to replace the motor. When I called Audi customer service, I was told that there was nothing they could do. I have owned Porsches, Mercedes Benz, Toyotas, Fords and Chevys. Up until July 5, 2013, my A6 is the only car I would buy again, until today. Not standing behind a product is not what I had expected from Audi. It seems that when Audi says truth in engineering, its just marketing. Audi has graciously offered $3,500 toward a new vehicle.

Ive been the owner of several Audi motor cars. I idealize the style and implied quality. I purchased my current car new. 2006 A4 2.0T S-Line. Ive been the only driver. The vehicle has 72K miles and now 10 years old. Its always parked in a garage at home, work and the airport. The point is the car is pristine. I was made aware of a problem that the Audi 2.0T engine was having with certain series of VINs. The years ranges 2005 to 2008. The supplier of the forged metal cam shafts identified a quality defect in the hardening process. There are blogs and details with VIN on the web and some vague messages from Audi confirming the problem and series numbers and warranty extension 10 years or 120k miles. As you might have surmised by now my 2006 A4 2.0T S-Line, broke down on the highway on a Sunday and needed to be towed to my local German Autowerkes shop. Audi was not going to pay for the tow 30 miles away and offered no assurance that the car falls under the extended warranty. I had to get the car repaired and which totaled $5,200. I thought AudiCare would be reasonable and offer some form of assistance. After 2 weeks back and forth with Kimberly a well trained bad news breaker of sorry sucker and thanks for being an Audi customer, she did indicate in guilt that I might have gotten help if I took it to the Audi dealer and pay $2K more. So long story short if you plan on keeping an Audi more than 3 years, dont.

I ended up removing my car from the Audi in Orland Park, IL and taking it to another Audi location. The new robot technology was used to diagnose the cause of engine failure. I provided Audi with receipts where all the maintenance was completed in accordance to their recommendations. They forwarded all document to Audi headquarters. After a few day Audi accepted responsibility for my engine failure and they will be repairing it. Thanks Audi for your honesty.

These vehicles tend to be extremely visually pleasing, stylish and sleek. These are usually futuristic looking and quite stunning to see. And these vehicles tend to be quite accommodating to multiple passengers with the exception of the spot models. They usually have great leg and head room. Great size for families or large people. And there is a fair amount of variety and selection. I do feel they are highly overpriced when it comes to maintaining the vehicle. They can be reliable but when they break parts can cost more than the vehicle itself. Custom wheels, custom sound systems, custom paint and custom interior options. Also custom accessory packages. These custom features tend to increase the price dramatically.

Ive had my 2013 Audi allroad for 8 years, it currently has 112000 miles. Its always been serviced and repaired by Audi. 25k miles ago I started to need to top up oil between services. Audi then stated that this was normal. I didnt really believe that and started to do some research on my own and found that the early TFSI engines 2008-2012 have an inherent design fault which leads to high consumption of oil. **Gradually the problem got worse and during a service when I yet again made them aware of the issue and my research findings, they said the turbo was burning oil and needed to be replaced before they could do anything. This was done and $4k later my car was still burning oil. Problem got worse and worse. At 1 qrt every 600 miles Audi said that the abnormal use was due to a leaking top cover gasket and they could not do anything until this issue was corrected. I made them aware that the engine bay would have been full of oil if the top cover gasket was to blame but went ahead to fix the gasket at the same time as the timing chain was replaced. The problem still remained. I have now spent yet another $1k to perform a oil consumption test which concluded that the car is now using 1 qrt each 200 miles! Which is everything else but normal. Audi finally says that the piston rings need to be replaced and because the car is now out of warranty I have to pay for everything out of pocket!!!The fact that Audi from day one blamed everything else and asked me to spend premium $ to fix whatever they said was the issue instead of taking responsibility for their faulty engines is ridiculous and everything else but premium. Its so savage and ruthless to bleed your customers of money knowingly that there is an issue with the engines. This is not what I expect of a premium car company. Whoever is considering of ever buying or owning a new or used Audi please think twice!

I love Audi the car, but Audi financial services is an absolute nightmare.
I love Audi the car, but Audi financial services is an absolute nightmare. I lease an Audi A4 in 2011. I leased a car from Audi in 2011 and promptly returned the car in outstanding condition a few days before the end of the lease. About a week before returning the car, some vandalism was done on a fender. I put a claim in with my insurance company and the car was completely detailed not on for the fender but bumper etc. It looked almost in showroom condition. BTW I live in Manhattan. The lease also allowed me to have 30,000 miles on the car. When I returned the car, it only had a little over 14,000 miles on it. If I still needed a car, I would have bought it. I even asked friends if they may be interested in buying it from me if I bought it. It was that much of a deal. Audi employs a vendor named SGS to do car inspections. The inspector spent over an hour inspecting every inch of the car. At times he actually pulled out a magnifying glass! I have leased many cars and have never had an inspector like this. I was outraged when he listed tiny scratches, a tiny ding on the side door and a hairline crack in the rear tail light. He gave me an estimate of what I need to pay for Excess wear and tear. I kept asking him do define excess wear and tear. He showed me a tiny scratch on the hood that exceeded 2/3 of an inch or something like that. I kept saying that the tiny scratch is far from excess wear and tear. Finally I just grabbed his write and decided to call Audi myself. About two months later, Audi called me asking for proof that I turned in my car. I asked her why they dont just get the information from Audi Manhattan where I returned the car. She said that Audi Manhattan is difficult to communicate with and it was easier to just get the information from me. I run a small business and do not have time to do someone elses job. I explained that Audi Financials internal problems are not my problem, but if I find the document I will send it to them. About a month later, sure enough, I found the document, made a copy and sent it to Audi Financial. I then get a bill 5 months later from Audi Financial for over $1,000. There were excess wear and tear charges AND they claimed I turned in the car 20 days late. (I turned the car in early.) So the fighting with Audi financial will continue. There are a lot of hot cars out there. You dont need Audi. I have leased from Lexus and Toyota. I had no wear and tear charges with them and never had the car put through the body shop a week before returning it! DONT LEASE FROM AUDI!!

I am Disha and I bought an Audi Q7 for Rs. 94 lakhs from Bengaluru, two years and four months back. The reason was its speed as I had to travel to different cities and it was a business requirement too. I bought two more Audis for my business officials and purpose. But my experience with Audi is very bad. The first Audi car of mine is Q7 and it is a little over two years old. I have spent Rs. 45 lakhs on my Q7 already for it to run efficiently. Currently, I gave the Audi for service purposes a month ago and I have still not got it back in spite of me paying the full amount. The excuse is that they are not able to get the automobile parts and its still to reach India from overseas. I now curse myself for my fleet of Audi. I have a Q3 and an A4 too which are also the same and I had spent huge amount of money on them just to keep them running. Along with the performance of the car, high maintenance cost and bad after sales and dealership services I still thought of keeping my cars but I am not able to get my car back after giving it for servicing. So I regret my decision of buying the Audi cars and would not recommend anyone to buy such cars or any of Audi cars at all. My name is Disha and I am an established businesswoman of Bengaluru.

I took my car in to Audi for service because it was overheating so Audi changed my water pump and never told me there was a recall on it. I drove off their lot 3 different time but the last time I drove off my car turned off at the fork of the 118 and the 5 Frwy and cars were trying not to hit me from behind and when I called Audi scared out of my mind, they acted like no big thing. The next call about my car was that I need a new engine. I gave them a running car and theyre giving me a car that doesnt run.

Audi is a great car. Reliable, affordable and gets good mileage. Plenty of models to choose from. I wanted a LX model and they had it. They also had a great sports model. Good variety. The car looked amazing and had so many things to do on the inside. The automatic computerized features were the most interesting to me such as the lane keep assist. Each model had several upscale options. It could be more spacious and have more leg room in the back. I realize this is the best designed car ever.

I lease an Audi A3, 2018. Within 11 months the car starts to lose power, while driving the car would be going 65 miles then randomly drops to 5 miles then starts back up, in 20-30 seconds. Went to Audi with the problem. They can’t find the problem or mimic the problem so they have the car back. It did it again while driving on the highway??? The car lost power and the driver behind me, switch lane to avoid me and ran into another car. I brought the car to Audi for over 5 months, and nothing can’t be resolved. Spoke to Audi of America, spoke to Terice and she was trying to help me, then she told me the same thing Audi tells their customer, The problem can’t be mimic, so they can’t do anything about it. This is one of my worst experience with a Auto Company and I will get my lawyers involve.

In March of 2017, I walked into the Audi Mission Viejo, California dealership to have a minor repair on my leased 2014, A8. They said it would take 15-20 minutes so I took the time to look at the new A8 cars that were available. Jon, the salesman came up to me and asked if he could help – I said I was just looking because my lease doesn’t come due for another 2 months. He said, “How would you like to save a couple hundred dollars per month and get a new one today”. My first question was what happens to the old lease where there are 2 more payments due. He said that those payments would be wrapped into the new lease and even then, I would save a couple hundred dollars per month.I explained that this would be the only way I would be interested in getting a new car that day because I was actually thinking of other less expensive cars and wasn’t particularly happy with the service I had received from Audi during the current lease. Enticed by the offer, I ended up picking out a new 2017 A8, and before I left, I realized that I wasn’t even coming close to a couple hundred-dollar savings, in fact the payment was about $60 less. I just accepted this considering that they took back the other car with still two months of payments. He also told me that even if there was some minor wear and tear Audi waives that when you are leasing a new car and “staying part of the family”.Fast forward 2 years and my wife and I are moving to a new home. We are getting a mortgage and something shows up on my credit which is 820 on the FICO scale. I’m told by the bank that I need to do a conference call with Audi and an outside credit company that deals with these situations. During the call, I am told by Edgar at Audi that I still owe $3,236.74 from the 2015 lease. He explained that the amount due was because Audi took a loss when they sold the car, excess wear and tear, and lease payments that were still due. I pointed out to him that I have never seen one single bill via mail or any other form in two years. Also, while I was speaking to him, I checked my online account with Audi which showed all past and current leases and nothing showed there either. He agreed that this is a problem and I should contact my dealer and Audi of America. He also said that this does not show on my credit as something that is outstanding but then, when I pointed out that is why we are having this call, he said that should never had/have an effect on my credit. What am I supposed to do, call Audi every time I need a loan and have my credit checked? I will NEVER have anything to do with Audi or any company affiliated with Audi, they are as crooked as they come.Oh, and by the way, on another subject that you as a consumer should be aware of, several months ago I asked for a copy of the lease for my wife’s 2015 Q7, they ended up sending someone else’s credit application which had a lot of personal information like social security number, DOB, where they work, how much they make, etc. When I called back to let them know, they made the same mistake and sent me yet again someone else’s information. Third try, I finally got a copy of my lease. Bad business is the best I can say for Audi!

Audi a5 from 2008 - 2 days before holiday on 26.04.14 the window cable mechanism breakdown, cost 225 for the part only+ labor cost 3h. On the 4th of May 2014 on our way to Venice, it was raining, a skylight take place, our central console dead (navigation, radio, media, no oil check, completely dead). Went to audi dealer in Venice, paid 80 euros to check the BUS Interface. The part need to be replace, 330 euro for the part + 120 euro labor cost, as is a UK car they need to order the part from UK. After 3 days in Venice we decide to buy a GPS for 150 euros and continue our holiday (Italian audi dealer check and top up our oil Castrol edge 5-30W ONLY SINCE the car was new 1500 km). Later on the 10th of May 2014 we arrive in a nice city call Brasov in Romania and the engine stop with no engine sign on. We call a service. They come to investigate our case and surprise they check the (ENGINE 135000 miles) timing chain and the top (plastic) tensioner. It was broken into pieces damage @ few 3000 TBC. We left the car in Romania and return to Jersey Channel islands UK by plane. The conclusion is the audi company diminish our entire holiday + 4500 into parts and labor cost. We plan to pay a visit to our insurer as we have full comprehensive insurance on the car + travel insurance, hoping they will do something for us as the car is not in the warranty anymore..... So the conclusion is what can get any WORSE than buy and drive an AUDI on a peaceful holiday .... WHERE IS THE GERMAN QUALITY????? It never been probably.

I bought my 2016 Audi Q5 in air day weekend of 2016 and Ive had 3 separate issues and now 3 recalls in the car within a matter of 9 months. 30 days in my sunroof started to rattle so bad it sounded like the glass was going to fall out. Take it to have it fixed and issues with getting a courtesy vehicle. I got a small A3 which is not comparable to a Q5... Just pointing out the obvious! Also they werent very thrilled about giving me a car even though that was used a sales tactic because that was one of the things I liked about their service and having a luxury SUV! They had to take out the sunroof and put something around the whole thing so it doesnt rattle. Issue was fixed and hasnt come back.Came back in probably 2 months after that when other random rattle sounds started to pop up. One in the back trunk area and one by the dash. Again did not want to give me a courtesy vehicle and again I had to insist. Im a mother of a small child, that time is precious to me and Im not sitting in a dealership with a small kid, no thanks! Trunk issues resolved, front they couldnt figure out and I hear from time to time. Now the final one is my window makes a high pitch screeching sound when I roll it down. Seems to happen in hotter weather. This is getting looked at this week and the 2 out of 3 recalls! This car has been plagued with problems and not the safe luxury SUV I spent $50,000 on to keep me and my daughter safe! Im so disappointed and disgusted with Audi and how Ive been treated. This is not the service or car I expected from them at all!! I called Audi America today and was told they couldnt buy my car back because it had recalls! Really? Why do you think I want to see it back to you, Audi??? Im not safe in this malfunctioning car you sold me!!! And now you dont want it back? SHOCKER! As for the dealership, they can care less and are so rude it blows my mind! Huge mistake buying an Audi! Shouldve stuck with Infiniti!

Following this chain of events, the car is still in my driveway with the engine in parts in the trunk and the dealer, Barrier Audi, refuses to even pay for the items stolen out of the car:March 29, 2013 - The car died while driving and would not restart. Pete, my son who does not own this car but was driving the car at the time, had the car towed to Barrier Audi. They confirmed that the engine would not start and told him that the engine would have to be torn down in order to determine the cause and extent of potential damage. April 16, 2013 - My son received the following email from Dave (service writer) at Barrier: I spoke with Gary this morning and he informed me that you had emailed him asking for Audi to assist with this repair. Gary has asked me to get authorization from you to do some tear-down so we can determine exactly what needs to be replaced. Essentially you would be agreeing to cover the labor costs ($900) to tear down the engine. Once we know exactly what needs to be done, we can approach Audi and ask for assistance. They may help with some financial assistance but please understand that they may choose not to participate as well and in that case, if you chose not to proceed any further, you would be responsible for the costs of the tear down. Please let me know if you would like to proceed.April 17, 2013 - My son replied to Daves email: Lets go ahead with the tear-down. Sorry for the delay in response. Between work, kids, and wedding planning, things have been a little crazy. June 2013 - My son told me that he had been trying to work with Barrier and Audi Customer Experience to determine what options may be available to repair the car other than the $7,000 estimate that was provided to him by Barrier Audi for a new engine. There have been ongoing problems with the engine in this car from the time it was new, and all we were told was to put oil in it whenever the light came on. Apparently Audi refused to even have a conversation about options for assistance in this repair until he produced every receipt for every quart of oil he added to the car approximately every 500 to 1,000 miles over the 107,000 miles it was driven. He had requested service records from both Larson Audi and Jobs Audi, but received no response from either. He had no work order from Barrier Audi and no invoice. June 27, 2013 - My husband and I met with Dave, the Assistant Service Manager at Barrier Audi. We told him that Pete was not the registered owner of the car; that I was the registered owner. Dave clearly had no interest in a conversation other than Bring all of your receipts for every quart of oil ever put in the car. What we told him was that we were longstanding Barrier customers and understood that they got pulled into this when the car died. We told him that all we are asking is for Barrier to help sort it out with Audi since they and we all know that there is a well-documented problem with this engine. We also told him that we first leased it from Audi Financial and then purchased it from Audi Financial so Audi has already made a lot of money on this car. He turned red in the face a lot but would absolutely not engage in conversation. We asked him why anyone that we know would ever buy another Audi and he said he didnt know. He did not provide the Service Order or provide me with an invoice to pay for the engine tear down. He did not ask me to take the car home. We left with no further resolution.July 26, 2013 - We were told by the service writer that that there is a tech at Barrier Audi that is interested in buying the car as is. We did not respond. We are continuing to try to get service records from the other two Audi dealers. August 21, 2013 - I realized that I did not receive a monthly statement from VW Credit for the Audi. I made an online payment on August 21, 2013. September 4, 2013 - I received a certified letter from VW Credit stating that they had my vehicle and were going to sell it because I broke promises in our agreement. Since no one had tried to contact me from Barrier Audi, I was stunned. I called VW Credit and spoke with Brandon. I asked him what promise in our agreement was broken and why they had the car and planned to sell it. He did not know. He transferred me to Audi Customer Experience when I requested that I speak with someone at Audi.I was transferred to Audi Customer Experience. Andrew, the representative who took the call, did some research and told me that Careful Asset Recovery had the car. He also told me that he would have a release processed so that I could pick up the car and bring it home. He said that they would waive the Voluntary Surrender fee of $250 and that there would be no storage charges. He said that he would look into the circumstances that caused the car to be picked up and call me back. He also said that he would get the service records from the other dealers.September 9, 2013 - We had the car towed home to my house. All of my sons belongings were missing from the car. September 23, 2013 - After not hearing back from Audi Customer Experience, I received an email from Audi Customer Relations Center asking if I was pleased with the resolution of my case. I responded extremely negatively and told them that the case was not resolved. September 23, 2013 - After not hearing back from Audi Customer Experience, I found that Andrew had left a message on the wrong phone. I contacted Andrew and asked about the status with VW credit. He told me that when he contacted Barrier Audi, they told him unbelievably that they had no knowledge of the car. He had not received any of the requested documentation from the other dealers. He transferred me to VW Credit so that I could determine the status on the account there as he had no organizational responsibilities for them. VW Credit was closed for the day.September 24, 2013 - I called VW Credit to get status on the account. I found that over $1,000 had been added to my credit account. Dana did not know why and did not know why I had been charged $250 as a voluntary surrender fee when I had not surrendered the car, and in fact, had no idea that the car was being towed. Dana said that she would call me back after she researched the charges and that it might take up to 72 hours. I was told that I had abandoned the car at the dealership and that the amount of the engine teardown, which was not authorized by me had been added to my car purchase account. I have never seen the work order nor bill for the teardown. VW Credit seemed startled that I had no information nor requests for payment from the dealer, but they also clearly could not find any such communication in the records.September 25, 2013 - Dana from VW Credit called back and I asked what the charges were for and was told that they were: Collection charges (I told Dana that they could not be collection charges since the account was current. Dana agreed); Storage charges (I told Dana that they could not be storage charges since Audi Customer Experience had them waived. Dana agreed); Service charges from Barrier Audi who had said that they had no knowledge of the car (I told Dana that I had not authorized any work, nor had I seen any invoice. Dana agreed that these should not be service charges but that Barrier Audi had the amount placed on the account.)I was also told that their records stated that Barrier Audi had contacted them (VW Credit) to have the car towed. I was then told that I had abandoned the car at the dealership and that the amount of the engine teardown, which was not authorized by me had been added to my car purchase account. I told her that I had never seen the work order nor bill for the teardown. I had also not been asked to pick up the car. Dana seemed startled that I had no information nor requests for payment from the dealer, but she could not find any such communication in their records either. I asked what reason Barrier Audi gave for their actions and Dana said that they could not locate a reason in the file. I asked if they made a habit of towing cars with no reason and was told that they typically simply do as the dealer requests. I asked if VW Credit was aware that in Washington state, no one can be charged for car repairs without a signed work order. I was told that they do not know about laws in the state of Washington or any other state and that I would have to take it up with Barrier Audi. VW Credit waived the $250 voluntary surrender fee and tried to conference Gary **, the Service manager at Barrier Audi. He was not available. Dana left a message for him to call her back. He did not call her back. I did not receive a statement because VW Credit thought that they still had possession of the car. They were surprised to hear that I had the car at home. They said that they would put a rush on sorting out the account. I filed a complaint with the Washington State Attorney Generals office.October 7, 2013 - I received an email from the Attorney Generals Office with a letter attached from Audi of America. They stated that since I had not provided the service records (which had been requested from the two dealers weeks before and not received) that they could not do anything. They also stated that the VW Credit issue was completely separate and not their problem. Mr. ** also stated that he had no response from VW Credit. October 9, 2013 I received an email from Andrew with two attached service orders from Larson Audi and Jobs Audi as requested by him September 4th and by me in June.October 21,2013 - I sent an email at Andrews suggestion to request a time to speak with Mr. **, the Barrier Audi Service manager. October 23, 2013 - My husband and I met with Mr. ** in his office on October 23. He acknowledged that there are three known issues with the engine that is in my A4. He detailed the issues. He stated that there were fixes for two of them and he did not know if they had been applied to my car. He also told us that Audi had told the dealers that the extreme oil usage in the car was normal and that oil should just be added every time the light came on. Audi later told them that it was not normal and that there were things that needed to be done to correct the problem. Given these problems, we were told that the engine warranty had been extended to 120,000 miles. This was the first time that anyone had told us about an extended engine warranty.Mr. ** told us that he was not aware that the car was being towed until the two truck driver showed up and asked for the keys. He said that they had no responsibility to notify the registered owner and in fact, we were told that it was not their responsibility to determine the registered owner of the car. This is notwithstanding the fact that we told his Assistant Manager back in June that I was the registered owner of the car. He maintained that Barrier did not have the car picked up. He also told us that Barrier never charges storage fees, nor do they file mechanics liens because they are onerous in the state of Washington. He also maintained that he had no idea about how any additional charges wound up on my credit account. He said that VW Credit must have initiated the car pick up. This is unlikely since VW Credit had no idea that the car was at Barrier Audi until contacted by Barrier Audi and the account was current.I asked him if he would assist us in getting the funds, presumably for the unauthorized work, separated on the credit account. He said that he would try but that he really had no influence with VW credit. I told him that I had still never received a copy of the work order nor an invoice. He said that he would take care of that right away and print it while we were there. He brought it up on his screen, looked at it for a minute and told us that he could not print it because his PC hung. We asked if he would email it and he agreed. He told us that he would contact the local Audi representative to see what could be done and that we would need to supply the work orders. We told him that we would email them which we subsequently did. I also asked if he would provide the detail of how the car came to be towed. We did not receive the work order or invoice.October 29, 2013 - I received a response email from Mr. **. He listed the additional service information that is required by Audi and told us that from now on we were to deal directly with Audi. The work order was not provided, nor was an invoice. October 30, 2013 I responded to his email and asked him again to provide the work order and invoice. I also asked him to provide the detail regarding how the car came to be towed. I received a response from him. It had the work order attached as well as the email that my son sent back in April to ask them to tear down the engine. The only detail provided regarding the vehicle pickup is:While we would have liked to contact you, we did not have any personal information of yours, Peter was our only contact. Because the car had been sitting on our lot for 4 months we found Audi Financial was the legal owner of the vehicle and contacted them. Due to privacy issues, they do not provide us with your personal information. 1 month later Audi Financial paid for and picked up the vehicle. As far as personal possessions that is something you will need to talk with Audi Financial about as they took possession of the vehicle.I contacted VW Credit following this email. According to them, Barrier contacted VW Credit in July about having the car picked up. This was shortly after the offer to buy the car by a service tech was received and ignored. They knew who the registered owner of the car was and made no attempt whatsoever to contact me about the situation. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and asked for the charges to be reversed from the account, reimbursed for the towing charges to bring my car home and the cost of my sons stolen possessions. They continue to say that it is not their problem.

Audi5000 runs smooth, the dealership sealed and were all very professional and never bothered you while looking. The salesman was very helpful and the finance manager was extremely pleasant to deal with as well and he as well did not hound the customers. The car has touchscreen navigation system, wifi connection and also the convertible top makes for an amazing driving event experience. Audi offers its buyers a variety of options for personalizing and upgrading their vehicle, such as headrest DVD players with remote, lift package, new touch screen radio navigation system, window tinting and new wheel upgrade that can handle the worst storms. The vehicle has plenty of space in the front of car and the rear passenger section is good for three people. Nice leg room and individual vents for each person in the car. I would definitely recommend to anyone whos considering the car purchase.

Do not ever ever ever purchase or lease an Audi! Heres my nightmare: back i
Do not ever ever ever purchase or lease an Audi! Heres my nightmare: back in 2010 my then husband leased an Audi in my name (the joys of marriage). About one year into the lease, we separated, both of us moving to opposite ends of California. The vehicle sat at our primary NY residence for almost two years as I would have been penalized for an early turn in. The car was only used for the limited times that I would return to the east coast, probably 5000 miles in total during that time. At just over 30,000 miles the clutch died without warning. This happened on a busy two-lane highway in a dangerous spot. Audi financial blamed it on driver mishandling. I have been driving manual transmission for 30 years and this has never happened. I am clearly capable of driving a stick shift. Happily my insurance covered it but for the deductible as Audi wanted to charge $6000 to repair. Finally, several months later the anticipated turn-in date arrives. I do everything I am supposed to: have the car inspected by Audi (which of course jacked up the damages); and turn it into an Audi authorized dealer (Audi Mohegan Lake, NY). The next day I turn in the plates and take this nightmare off of my insurance policy. I thought this was the end of my Audi dealing. Wishful thinking.Five months later I get a call from Audi Credit stating that I never paid the final bill. I advised that I never received the bill. This is because, as they explained, they never sent the bill! I told them to send the bill, which was received a month later. They are now asking for $497.35 in late return fees! Conveniently the odometer statement, prepared by Mohegan Lake Audi does not have the turn in date on it. Audi decided to wait a month to pick up the car after I turned it in. I have been back and forth with Audi Financial and Mohegan Lake and have yet to be able to get proof of the date on which I turned the car into Audi. My insurance (in deadbeat exs name) shows that I turned in the plates to the DMV and took the car off the policy on 7/2 (days after I turned the car in). I cannot find my DMV receipt, cannot get an answer when I call NY DMV, and cannot get the paperwork from Geico showing that the car was removed from the policy because the policy is now in my exs name. I am beyond frustrated! F AUDI!!!!!

We purchased a very clean, well maintained, used Audi A4 3.0 CVT with only 26,000 miles on it from a Range Rover/Audi dealer for our daughter as she went off to college in 2010. We had planned this car, being German built with Innovation through Technology to last her until she graduated and was able to get her first job. The Audi was serviced on a regular basis, then at 42,000 miles the transmission started acting up. After numerous trips to dealer and mechanics, the news was the transmission was shot and it would take $8,500 to repair/replace. The Audi at 48,000 miles is now a parked. A worthless hulk of nuts & bolts. After countless calls with Audi America, polite lip service with no results. We were extremely disappointed to find that Audi America simply does not stand behind their brand.Upon further research, discovered there was a class action suit to a poor design on the CVT Automatic Transmission, which accused Audi of concealing problems from consumers. Audi denied allegations but agreed to reimburse some customers...mmm. An indirect admission? We unfortunately discovered this settlement too late in the process as a result of no communication or proactive involvement by Audi. We have no recourse on our initial investment which equaled to 1/2 years of college tuition. Although my daughter did enjoy her 3 1/2 years driving an Audi at college, the reliability and disappointment by Audi America not supporting their Audi brand will forever taint all of us. Audi will be viewed as the inferior German car that cant be trusted.Closing note: Daughter is about to graduate college and she is considering her purchase on a new car when she starts her job. Her final will not include Audi, but a more respective brand this time around; BMW, Mercedes Benz, Mini, Lexus? We, our friends and anyone else we come across who may be interested in an Audi, will certainly hear the story of our college student deceived by Audis Truth in Engineering. No such thing!

Repeated issues with carbon build-up which turns the engine indicator light on. Audi has cleaned the valves previously, at no charge to us acknowledging this problem and that it will likely recur. It has recurred, but now they want $1300 to remove the engine for a thorough cleaning. 2009 was the first year for the Q5 and a fair solution would be to recall this car or take care of the cost for this recurring problem. Audi has declined any further assistance. We will never purchase an Audi again.

I drive a 2012 Audi A6 SuperCharged. A few days ago I received a recall for fuel pump change, in that I called the nearest Audi dealership to make an appointment for the change on 01/26/2017. In the process of the change I decided to have an oil change. At the dealership everyone was very nice and took care of me within the process of the service and assured me that the fuel pump and the oil change has been taken care of and paid 140.27 dollars for the oil change. The biggest part me going to the dealership was because of the recall for the fuel pump because of the letter I received a few days ago. This morning 01/27/2017, after my daily routine coming home the car engine suddenly turned off. The worst part of this was that I was traveling on a highway, Palisades Parkway to be exact. On the dashboard of the car there were no indication of something wrong. The fuel gauge was indicated as that the car had fuel in the car. Not thinking about the amount of fuel that is in the car, I thought that there was something wrong with the engine itself. Thinking back from yesterdays service, the service was for the fuel pump recall. Thinking that it couldnt be fuel because I just came out of the service for this problem, but to be sure I called a friend to bring some gas to put in the car. Sure enough after adding fuel into the car the car started and I was able to drive to the nearest gas station to fill up.In all, this complaint is for the service at the Audi Town Motors of Englewood NJ where they specialize in Audi. Having trusted that an Audi dealership would know how to service an Audi car, was the worst mistake of my life. Driving a car in the highway, all of the sudden losing an engine and feeling a life or death situation was something that I wanted to share. Cars flying by me trying desperately to move the car to a safe place to park was something that no one should experience. I would like to formally put a complaint to the Audi Town Motors of Englwood NJ at 400 South Dean St Englewood NJ 07631. For the life or death situation I was in and amount of time I had to suffer for the mistakes that the Audi made, in a recall that Audi of America formally gave out to all of the Audi owners.

I suggest you dont buy an Audi vehicle. My wife and I were both Audi people. She drives a 2015 Audi Q5 and I have a fully loaded 2014 A6. Both vehicles have had their maintenance done at the dealership. We just had to pay to have her pistons replaced on her Q5 due to the oil consumption issue (Google it). They have known about this defect and have settled a class action suit on earlier models. Rather than fix the problem, they are taking the position that oil consumption is normal and they have noted as such in their owners manual. My wife was at the point where we had to add oil every other week. The repair was over 4K. I am at the point where I am adding oil to my A6 although much less frequently but I am concerned about what is going on in the engine.I feel Audi is not standing behind their product. For the amount of money we paid for these vehicles, these engines should last longer. The maintenance on these vehicles is not cheap. To have an engine need that kind of repair after 5 years is ridiculous in this day and age. For it to be a common problem where they have a specific oil consumption test protocol at the dealership just shows you how common this is. I am sure it would be a huge expense for them to admit fault and resolve these issues. They have been fined for lying about issues with their diesel engines and they simply cant be trusted. So as much as we loved our vehicles, we are done with Audi. We will never own Audis again and our next cars will be something more reliable from a more reputable manufacturer. Not only are we sharing our story on multiple forums, we are telling all of our friends and co-workers about our experience with Audi. I am certain they have lost way more than the 4K it would have cost to cover the repair on my wifes Q5.

I feel that the locking system on my Audi is extremely dangerous and want to warn others. I was traveling away for the weekend with my 13 year old daughter and stopped to get something out of the boot/trunk - then closed the boot lid on my keys (absolutely my own fault). I was horrified to discover that my daughter was then locked inside the car, with no way to get out. There were tears and panic (from my daughter stuck inside - and me trying to look under control). We phoned a mechanic who came to assist, and it took a hammer to smash the window and get my daughter out - and an angle-grinder to get through to the boot to retrieve the keys. I was just happy that my daughter was now safe outside the car. I was really shocked that a driver could actually lock the car and the passenger would have no way to escape. I contacted Audi to let them know what happened and they were just dismissive. They said I could take the car into them for them to have a look at it and that they would charge me for the privilege. I now have a hammer in the glove compartment, just in case, yet I wont feel safe until I actually get a new car. Ill definitely be checking that it doesnt have the same locking system as my Audi. So dangerous!

Audi A4 2.0T - 69k miles and Im in the hole almost $8k!! Bought the car certified pre-owned with 32k miles. Keeping up with all recommended maintenance and caring for the car inside and out, this vehicle has been nothing but a lemon. Its been on a tow truck 4 times in 3 years. In the shop 6 times outside of regular maintenance. Cylinders replaced. Pistons replaced. A/c gone twice! I can go on... I dreamed of having this car, and now I cant get it sold quick enough. Going all American! Shame on Audi for poor design putting Turbo on a 4 cylinder car and straining the ** out of the engine causing parts to weaken faster for replacement. Overpriced car doesnt even hold value. Never again! That just explains why there is so much inventory of Audis for sale everywhere. People cant get rid of them quick enough.

Got my 2017 Q7 in February of 2016 from Audi South Austin and took my car for issues to North Austin Audi. This was in December of 2016 and since then nothing has been done to the car to remedy the issues. Driver side seat squeaks, when reversing I hear a loud sound (which I am told from the dealership is its normal with Audi - really!! It sound like old truck.) and ash tray on the passenger doors dont close.Every time I call its hard to get an appointment which always is a minimum of 3 weeks out to 3 months. Even if I am lucky to take my car in nothing gets done except the excuses. They dont provide statuses. I have to call them to find out whether I am getting my car. I owned Acura before and I regret making this choice. I am very close to giving up this car as I am dreading the fact that it breaks down I have to deal with service nightmare. Audi sends me emails as follow up every 10 days which is not helping at all rather than stalling the inevitable.

Having decided on the new Audi A3, the experience was marred by a sales professional who repeatedly did not return calls and told me make sure I rated him as extremely satisfied when he only had to take down my order details. The first years servicing was included in the price but we were still charged for it and only after 4 attempts was this resolved. The services manager never called back the first time and the 2nd and 3rd times promised to do refund the charge but didnt. It was only when we escalated the issue that we were refunded. Totally inconsistent with Audis brand. Not buying an Audi again.

I leased an A3 clean diesel from Audi Coral Springs in April of 2013 with the intention to buy if the car performed as well as the salesperson assured me it would. I was looking for a high performing car with significantly reduced emissions. I considered the Audi diesel, hybrids and electric cars. I chose a model that would no longer be available in the US (A3 clean diesel hatchback). There were only a handful available in the country and one of them was at Audi Coral Springs. Because I was set on this car and there were so few, I had no bargaining power and paid an enormous premium for the car. The leasing process itself was torture. The dealership had one printer and it wasnt working so the entire transaction took more than 4 hours. When the diesel emission fraud became public, I contacted the dealership and Audi USA. I was told over and over that the emission fraud was no big deal and that Audi owed me nothing. Basically I was told that Audi is handling this and that no one in the company could deal with my complaint. Audi has decided kill its brand and ensure that its customers go elsewhere. As for Audi Coral Springs... the personnel at the dealership were down right rude. I returned the car at the end of the lease only to be told that I had to sign a document that if anything happened to the car while in the hands of the dealer (the only place I could return it), I would be legally responsible for the damage. The document stated that I was required to maintain auto insurance on the vehicle until it was in the hands of the manufacturer which would take weeks to months. Ripped off a third time by Audi Coral Springs. I asked how I would know when to release the insurance and I was told not to worry about it. Needless to say, given Audis horrible, horrible customer service and casual attitude about defrauding the public, I will never drive an Audi again. I now have a Lexus hybrid and the experiences could not have been more different. One star for this dealership is really one too many.

It was off and on for a while then it went out. I had my Audi in for service. I asked the dealer and I was told there was a recall on that problem. As I search, there are many people having the same problem. My problem is that the recall is over. I didnt get a recall notice. Is there anything I can do to get the instrument cluster repaired? So far, this is the second Audi I owned and the A6 seems to be fine. Please help me.

I purchased the car used in Late August/Early Sept 2012 in New Jersey. The car had around 42k miles on it when purchased. Within month the oil light came on and I had it in. They topped it off (no receipt) and told me to watch it. Came in again Oct 19 and at that time they updated ECM software and replaced pressure regulating valve and front crank seal and started oil consumption test. They told me that the problem should be fine now. January 2013 EPS light came on and this time it was faulty steering column control module. Oil light back on March, April and every month since. They told me to just come in every time and they would top it off with no paperwork. Over the summer of 2013 the light started coming on every 2 weeks and I started topping it off myself because I couldnt keep running back there and getting into work late. I have had the oil changes done at the recommended intervals, always at the dealer. In Sept 2013 when the light came on again, I took it in and told them it had been coming on every two weeks for a couple of months. They said they would watch it again, and when it came on every two weeks, they did the oil consumption test for the second time. I had to pay for phase 1 and wait for the light to come back on which I did. I had it in two weeks ago for phase 2 and at that time the engine light had also come on. The car failed the oil consumption test and the catalytic converter needed replaced. I have an extended warranty which covers the catalytic converter, but they said the oil consumption issue was not and now I am over the original warranty. They were going to try to get Audi to do something but that was over two weeks ago and the oil light came on again. I had to wait for the catalytic converter to come in and they dont want me to bring it in until they talk to Audi. How long does it take to make a phone call? In the meantime, I am afraid of my engine seizing, which I have heard has happened, and I am tired of having to run to the dealer every other week. I have been in that place more than any other service department combined with all the cars I have owned. I am a 50 year old professional woman who takes meticulous care of my cars and this is absolutely absurd! My son is soon to get his license, and I certainly do not feel safe having him drive around in this vehicle. I have done research on this issue and I know there are a lot of unhappy Audi owners out there. I have been waiting for a class action suit to come about. Hopefully I qualify...Just a footnote...my daughter had a VW Passat when she first started driving and we had so many problems, the dealer took it back, and sold it at auction (He was a friend of the family though)! Sorry for the tirade, but I have reached my wits end! Today, February 22, 2014, I received notice that Audi was not going to assist in any way and the dealer may pay half of the cost to replace pistons and rings? Half? First of all half of what? I have no idea what the cost is going to be... I can only imagine its very expensive. Second, this problem has existed since the day I bought it and it was still under manufacturers warranty at that time. I don think I should have to pay anything for what is obviously a defective engine. I cant even sell the car in good conscience, but I am truly at a loss here and infuriated. Where is the consumer protection here? What are our options? Help...anyone!

I bought a used car, a 2003 Audi A4 1.8T, from this dealer on 7-27-2012. The next day, the engine check light was on and I took it to a repair shop to examine it. Also, the coolant alarm keeps popping up. The technician told me the catalytic converter needs to be changed along with other issues. Fixing the engine check light problem will cost me $1,000, not to mention the two complete junk tires that need to be replaced. Furthermore, the system was recoded several months ago by the dealer. They tried to hide this information by storing code to the system so that the engine check light wont be back on unless you drive it for several miles. I only have this car a week. The engine was too hot for me to keep driving when I was on my way back home after I brought the issue to the dealer. He told me the car is fine. However, I have to stop and turn off the engine after driving two minutes because the engine was too hot. It took me five hours to drive 20 miles on the express way which was really dangerous. The dealer intentionally hid the major issue of the car from me - the buyer - and refused to fix the issue. Neither did he agree to get this car back and give my portion of money back. This is really a nightmare. It is really dangerous to drive a car at 20 miles/hour speed on an expressway and to stop it abruptly just to let the engine gets cooler. That is crazy.

(Dealer said it was may because of bad shipment). And there was no compensation given to me. DAY 180: Safety Recalls. FIXED at Dealership at Ken GARFF, LEHI, UTAH. (Here was no compensation again). DAY 200: Tire Flats and Tire Expert (Not from AUDI) points out that Tire has torn out Heavily. Looks like Tire was not a quality one. Day 250: Windshield Breaks due to Temperature Pressure. (Wow what a quality again). DAY 260: Another Tire Burst in middle of road which should have almost lead to a major accident. (THIS HAPPENED SUNDAY 02/05/2017). (Total Miles 11500).Currently it is running on SPARE tire. I am just scared to touch the vehicle again. I have driven so many Cars and been driving for more than 5 years. But never had such a GREAT experience. That too with a NEW car which is still under warranty. DID AUDI has provided me very low quality tires and other accessories. These are costing me a ton to get it repairs... Does AUDI has nothing to do with it. This is ridiculous that after paying thousands, AUDI gives you such a quality car. WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW. Variety is great. The vehicle has hands on compatibility and an amazing stereo system stock inside with bass functions of a custom audio input system. Music is great for me and I loved that about the Vehicle. You cant go wrong with a classy, luxurious look. The vehicle has these looks plus the modernization of newer vehicles. The capabilities within its representation actually complements the vehicles abilities very well. I literally never see small cars with a lot of room but the Audi is made for small vehicle, great gas but holds more passengers than most cars and is about equal to an SUV passenger. Upgrading is Automatic. It also works very well for the car. I personally believe that if you want your dream car and get it drive until it Falls completely apart with this vehicle you would be driving for Eternity. I was taken aback by the amount of quality variety I was exposed to. There is a decent amount of passenger capacity in these cars, but I wouldnt recommend it for families as it would be a bit cramped. For a couple or even a couple with a child, it would be perfect. While I didnt choose to apply any of these upgrade and personalization options, a great many of these were readily available at the time of my purchase. New A6 Prestige purchased Dec 2019. On February 11th 2020 the new car just dies while spouse driving on Post Road in center lane with daughter in car. Car just stops and is immobile. Audi Emergency Roadside Assistance does not show up for 3 hours despite confirms two truck being sent and numerous calls for help. Car and spouse stranded in middle of dangerous road at rush hour. Fairfield Service Center engaged yet waiting on Audi Assistance service vs actually intervening to help a loyal local customer. Explanation is they are not responsible for roadside assistance? Car towed 3 plus hours after and no explanation why brand new car died. Safety was why we were loyal Audi clients for 12 years and 6 vehicles. Lack of safety is why that’s over. Questions linger on potential dangers of new A6 (reminder of sudden acceleration issues from past). The car suddenly dying if my spouse had been driving on I95 could have been much more dangerous. Post Road was dangerous enough. Disappointed and shocked after 12 years of loyalty to Audi cars and Fairfield Audi.

I bought my 1996 Audi A4 in 2009. At the start of 2010, I took my car to (Audi Artarmon, NSW) because I was experiencing erratic revving quite seriously. Audi Artarmon cleaned my fuel system and assured me that the problem was now fixed. However, as soon as I drove my vehicle from the servicing center, the problem still existed so that was ($1,500) down the drain. It took some complaining but I eventually got a full refund. I then moved to the Gold Coast where I decided to take it to (Audi Gold Coast Center). They advised me of a few reasons for the problem and told me that they could fix the problem. After picking my car up and driving it down the Gold Coast highway for 5 minutes, my car completely broke down and whilst I was on the phone to the servicing manager, he was shouting at me trying to say that it was not their problem and that these things just happen. So I sorted out a tow truck myself and paid for a taxi to get myself home. The car got towed back to Audi. The next day, they advised me that I needed a new throttle body at a cost of $1,000, but was advised that the cost would be taken care of due to what had happened. I went to pick my car up after the work had been done and the servicing manager started to demand that I pay for the work done to my car or else I would not be allowed to drive it away.I then had to rush to the bank before it closed and made a withdrawal in order to pay the prick of a manager. After all of this, it was no wonder that nothing had even remotely changed with the performance of my car! I had to move to Mackay (1000kms north) so I drove my car up, however, my fuel gauge stopped operating and the car was being very erratic with its revs. I did make it to Mackay though by guessing my fuel consumption. After more complaints, I eventually got a refund from Gold Coast Audi, as if they were trying to pay me to keep quiet. The last straw came when I moved to Newcastle (NSW). I drove my car down from Mackay, which was a long trip but my vehicle seemed to take it very well. My car did not start the next day so I decided to take it to Newcastle Audi Center where they told me I needed a new fuel pump, which would cost $900. I decided to get an independent mechanic to replace my fuel pump for half the price. However, somehow that mechanic did something to my cars immobilizer and I was forced to have it towed back to (Newcastle Audi), which was quite embarrassing. I was advised by Newcastle Audi that I needed a new engine control unit which would cost $3,000. I agreed to have this done as I needed my car. After a few months of trying to come up with the money, I finally had enough to pay for my vehicle. Upon picking my car up, I noticed that the whole dashboard insert was not working at all (speedometer, tacho, fuel gauge) and I asked them why. However, the servicing manager refused to take any responsibility and angrily denied any wrongdoing. The service I received from Newcastle Audi was absolutely appalling. For anyone who has any intention on buying an Audi of any sort, get ready for ignorant fat cats who think that they are above you and can talk down to you. Even the Audi Australia head office doesnt seem to care at all.My car has been undriveable for almost a year now, yet those ** are probably living it up with their fat checks. I am giving my 1996 Audi to a wrecker now. I paid $7,000 for it 3 years ago but I simply have no more energy, money or time to put up with the thieves that Audi are.

This brand offers a whole assortment of different models. Absolutely everyone needs to purchase one. These cars have very distinct and beautiful features, new models include touch screens and awesome radio, beautiful leather seats, and the engine is wonderful. The car is beautiful on the outside too. There are lots of different upgrades and personalization. Some of the upgrades would include a touch screen, an awesome radio system, upgrade to leather seats and touch screen radio system, upgrades the engine. Also the passenger capacity is awesome, for a sporty car, this thing is just so great. You can fit you and your neighbors family in this thing. You would think that there would not be too much room because of the sportiness but there sure is.

PSA: BUYERS BEWARE - My 2013 Audi Q5 began having issues at 82,000 miles. It has an oil consumption problem (sound familiar) that makes it a hazard to drive. I stopped using Audi North Austin a while back when they treated me poorly (scheduling, follow up, getting my vehicles service done on time). I used South Austin for a while until the same issues began (although I have never fought them on their overpriced non-sense). I did start taking it somewhere else however, when Audi wanted 4x more for my breaks. My vehicle has been at Audi South Austin for over 3 week now, because they want $6000 to fix it. I tried working with Audi USA when the issue began in August due to recommendation by my current garage. The representative that helped, seemed great, but my case got closed until the oil consumption part 2 test. When I went to reopen it Audi USA was a whole different thing. Since then, I have emailed, called, and initiated everything. Customer service has been exceptionally poor, and some even flat out rude. My vehicle is not under warranty, I purchased it from a private party, and I serviced it elsewhere. All things I understand are not ideal in Audis eyes, however the exceptionally poor customer service and that I could provide ALL of those records, and that this has been an issue in the past with Audi USA vehicles (although theyre stance is this is just a coincidence because its not the same one from the class action suit) is why Im putting this out there. This isnt really me, but I feel cheated and taken advantage of and I think Audi USA should hear about how theyre putting people out, and I think people should know how Audi USA is doing people. Again, buyers beware, especially 3rd party. They dont care. Even if its your safety.

Im leasing an A4 and paid for a portion of the 36 month lease up front. In April 2017, I asked for a letter stating the current balance of the lease payments. I was sent a letter stating that I owe about $3400. I made a payment of $2400 and common sense dictates that the remaining balance would be $1000. But when I followed up in May 2017 (one month later), Audi said the remaining balance was actually $1300 after the $2400 posted. They raised the balance by $300 and nobody can explain why. Every time I call to inquire, Im placed on long holds and then hung up on. A supervisor finally reached out to me and said that he has no idea why there is this discrepancy but I owe $1300. No explanation or attempt to come to a solution. After I pushed, he hung up the phone as well.Obviously theyve made a mistake somewhere but nobody wants to figure it out. Now I dont know how much I owe and if the balance will continue rising with each payment instead of dropping. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Stick to BMW. Audi tries to be upscale but cant compete because their reps are incompetent.

Yes. Hello! I purchased an Audi 5 Quattro in August. Recently, I was ready to turn my vehicle on when I was terrified by a loud banging on the glass. I screamed, thinking someone was trying to break into the car. I called Audis national line, and was told that they knew of no such incidents. I called my dealer, who said it had had a couple of like reports, but no breakage. The dealer just called back to say it would need the car through the weekend to loosen and lower the moon roof, as that was Audis international fix, and, indeed, breakage has occurred on some vehicles. I love my car, but I am very concerned, as I bought the car, specifically, to safely transport my granddaughter. Should I be assured by the fix? Will it compromise my vehicle? Where is Audis recall? I am seeking a proactive v. reactive response. Thank you!

The technology in the Audi A4 sedan is complicated and not user friendly. The manual is not helpful either. It is a great ride but it uses premium gas which is a pain. I bought it because it is highly rated in crash tests. I have only owned it 8 months so I dont know how its long term durability will be but it is rated highly in this area.

Purchased a brand new 2013 Audi Q7 last April. Waited close to a month for the vehicle. Problems started since day one. The same day, the vehicle was picked up. Within 15 minute driving, the check engine light came on. Brought it back to the dealer and diagnosed to be a bad intake manifold. The vehicle was in the shop for a week. A month down the line, one day the sunshade for the panoramic roof fell off the rail completely. Brought the vehicle back to the dealer and get it fix. In June of this year, the Sunshade fell off the rail again, brought it back to the dealer, waited a week for the repair. Literately a week after the vehicle was picked up, the rail came back again, the car was in the dealer for another week. Now the problem come back again. The car is a little over 1 year old, barely driven with only 6000 miles. Went to the dealer to complaint about the issue and see how they and AUDI will address the issue. The response I got was: this does not affect the drivability or the safety operation of the vehicle. I could always bring it back to the dealer and get it fix. I am extremely disappointed in the brand and its customer service focus philosophy. Especially as a luxury car dealer and manufacture, this is definitely not the way to address the issue. 60K investment and what I get in return is constantly going back to the dealer for the same issue. Even with me addressing the issue, their response is tell me to keep going back. I dont have the time for all this, definitely not a good ownership experience. I am very disappoint in the brand and the experience. Stay away from AUDI!!!

Purchased my car in 2012 with 45,000 miles on it. Immediately it started burning through a quart of oil every 5 weeks or so. I complained to the dealership. They said it was normal. I complained again. They said it was normal. I complained again. They said it was normal. I had to burrow myself so far up their ** for them to take a look at the car. They performed an oil consumption test which it failed. They said I had to replace the engine. Thankfully, I was 475 miles under the warranty expiration. From that point forward the car never worked properly. An ignition coil change, 3 issues regarding misfiring, repair work for several diagnostic codes. All in, on top of my $450 month payment & $6k deposit, I spent about an additional $10k repairing the car.Additionally Audi USA covered another $10k worth of work. Thats $20,000 worth of repair work over 4 years. A $1,000 bill every 10 weeks. At 130,000 miles I pulled into a parking lot, car was running fine (after a $1,300 repair bill the week before). I got out of the car and realized I forgot to grab something at another store. I immediately got back into the car and pushed the key in the ignition. It didnt start. Needed to have the car towed. The dealer tells me they have to rebuild the entire engine again.Audi USA called and left a message yesterday (Ive been without a car for 3 weeks now and had a loaner for all of 4 days) that the case has gone to the highest level and there is nothing they will do about it. They said if I have any questions I can call the case handlers direct number. Seems that direct number goes directly to a voicemail void that never gets checked because my phone calls have yet to be returned. Looking at the number of issues and similar complaints all over the web I am baffled that Audi refuses to take responsibility for their poor design and the numerous faults that continue to occur on this engine model.

Five hours at the dealership to get the paperwork completed, 15 minutes of negotiations, and we were the only customers buying. The car (2016 Audi A4 quatro) is finished nicely, drives well at turnpike speeds, but in town it is AWFUL! Acceleration when needed is absolutely unreliable. Sometimes accelerates as needed, other times the engine does not increase above idle speed when power is really needed. The dealer had the car for a couple of days and could not duplicate my complaint. They then stated if this problem occurred it was my driving technique (my wife has the same problem of non-acceleration randomly). I tired of arguing with the dealer, and just accepted the fact we are stuck with this car for another 19 months when the lease expires. We are reluctant to drive the car, and after 17 months it has accumulated less than 9,000 miles. We had two Mercedes prior to this piece of garbage, had never leased a car before, and never owned an Audi. We will go back to Benz, will never lease again, and never again have dealings with Audi.

Then they need me to drive up to Ft Worth to pick up the car. I do get them to deliver it. One week later the transmission is slipping and ** service manager assures me it is in my head and the car is meant to slip. They would work me in in 2-3 weeks if I insisted on coming in. I drive 6 hours to Houston Audi who got me right in and found that the bolts were not tight on the new engine and was causing the slippage. Ft Worth Audit won’t answer their phone and take appointments only weeks in advance. ** is useless.

We eventually got it back to a local Garage to be told the engine had seized. After phoning around different Audi approved dealers and told Q7 engines are bullet proof. I paid to have my car collected and taken to an Audi garage, to be told after 2 weeks and a new battery that my engine was in deed knackered!!! Insurance won’t cover this… Audi do not want to Know, so I am left paying for a crap pos that now worthless and will cost thousands to repair. Seem I’m not the only one to suffer the fate of the Q7. I would like to know how to lodge a formal complaint about my Audi S3 and the dissatisfaction I have received from Audi roadside assistance and Audi Service Centre in Parramatta. When I first walked into the Audi Parramatta dealership when purchasing my S3, the level of service and communication was outstanding! I was so pleased with how I was informed every step of the way and the progress on when my car was being built. It all went downhill from there as soon as I left the dealership.About 8 months of owning the car the centre console panel started to flack up and peel exposing the aluminium underlay of the part of the car. Shortly after that my car overheated and the warning light came on for me to turn off my engine and put coolant in the car. I was stranded with my 1 year old and my 3 year old. I called the Audi roadside assistance and was told that someone would be there within an hour. 4 hours later no one turned up so I was forced to drive the car myself with my 3 year old and 1 year to the Parramatta service centre for them to add coolant to the car. Then I was emailed a survey about the roadside and because I gave them a 0 mark they called me the next day asking why I had marked them so low. I explained that I was left stranded for hours on end with my 2 kids under the age of 3 and had to drive my overheated car to the service centre myself. I was told by the person on the phone that the job was not logged and that is why no one came or called. Then when I booked in my car for the service I was told I had to wait close to 2 weeks for the new part to arrive. I waited weeks and no one from the Parramatta service centre got in touch with me so I had to call them to follow up with them to confirm my appointment and confirm the part had arrived. I dropped it off and had arranged a loan car. I inquired about the terms and conditions of the loan car agreement. I was told by MASON that I would have to pay $2500 excess regardless if I got into an accident and it was not my fault. So I couldnt even utilise the loan car which is why I asked for the loan car so I could use it for work. I missed an entire days work because of this information that was wrong! I was mislead and deceived into signing this legally binding agreement. Then to top it off after missing an entire day of work to have a part in my car changed, I was called at 3:30 PM to tell me the part had been damaged, mind you the car was dropped off at 8:00 AM that morning. There is no way it was damaged when leaving the factory in Germany, clearly it was damaged when the staff opened it. I know this because the Assistant Manager Chris told me that the part comes wrapped in bubble wrap and layers of other material to protect and it gets delivered in a box. I was then told I have to wait another week and a half for another part to come in.2 weeks later I am yet to hear anything from Audi Parramatta service centre. The website clearly states that first class service to Audi consumers when clearly that is not the case. What is the point of having an Audi if the staff cannot even communicate with its consumers, when they cant even advise its consumers of correct information on an agreement, when my car over heats and parts are damaged and when roadside leaves its consumers stranded? It is a joke that I have spent all this money on this car and to be so dissatisfied. No one at the service centre offered any sort of compensation or help with anything. Not even a sorry.Today after waiting 2 weeks for the new part to arrive I dropped my car off again to Audi Service Centre to have the part changed. I wasnt even called to pick it up even though I left my mobile number with Jeffery, instead my husband was called and when I got to Audi to pick my car up I had to wait 20 minutes as Jeffery was too busy to see me. He told me that he had delayed his lunch and that he had been waiting for me, what kind of employee at a service centre even says that to its customer? On top of that my car not only got damaged whilst they changed the part, the part they fitted doesnt even fit correctly and the installer has now damaged two parts of the console of my car. The worst experience Audi has delivered, worst service and lack of due diligence is unbelievable. I now have to wait even longer to have new parts brought in and I am told Chris or Jeffery will be in touch but it will be a while. The worst Service Centre ever!!!

My new car has 10,000 km. On a very cold morning this past January, my power steering malfunctioned while I was driving home. No steering is a very scary experience. Thank God I was not far from my home and could walk to my house. The steering column was changed. Two days later it happened again. This time I was told to let it warm up for 20 minutes and the power steering came back. Last Friday, it happened again but this time after idling for one and a half hours, I still had no steering. I am female and do not have the strength in my arms to steer without power steering. Apparently, this problem is common with S4 & SQ5, since 2014, when it is very cold. The steering column is being changed again. I called Audi Canada and was told that this problem is caused by extreme cold weather. The dealer told me to let it warm up for 30 minutes before driving it which makes no sense to me just to go to the corner store. I love my car but now feel very insecure when driving it. There is no recall for this part that keeps malfunctioning. If Audi sells cars in Quebec, then they should be reliable in cold weather. So much for their TV ad that boasts winter is Audi land!?!

It is safe and others should have it to not be in danger when this is a great car for almost everywhere to drive through such as off roads, some highways, streets in neighborhoods, the roads off at the stores, also the drive thrus. I would say it has a nice appearance and should be recommended for others so they can appreciate the looks of the car and how well it is for people to drive with barely any problems having to be on the car at all.The various upgrade helps it get lighter and to be more safer they add protection inside the car also which is very great for kids, children so they wont have any technical difficulties as the other fast supercars that dont really have any protection inside, within or without it. An Audi helps gets people to places like an average car. The capacity and the weight the car takes on is incredible because it still holds against heavy people such as myself and my other family members who are always entering my car to go to places wherever. For others it would helpful so there would still be a engine functioning.

I purchased an Audi used with 21,000 kms. Since owning it, I had some major stuttering during acceleration. The technicians had it in the shop no less than 5 times replacing parts or cleaning injectors. Just before warranty ran out, I asked if I had their commitment to repair this known problem before the warranty ran out - I had this in writing. Sure enough, even though I was promised a fifth time that it was repaired, the same issue occurred. Since this was after warranty the dealer had to use good will, but after a few attempts gave up and pretty much left me to deal with Audi Canada directly. Audi Canada suggest it was the wiring harness or computer that could have been making the issue and offered to pay 50% of the total cost. Even though this should have been covered under warranty in the first place, they would not budge and gave me an ultimatum that if I didnt accept the offer, they would retract it. Even worse, after agreeing, I asked if this would be a guaranteed fix. They said, No guarantee and no refund if this did not fix the issue. So, less for me. I will NEVER buy an Audi again. I love the look and feeling of the drive, but the customer service was absolutely brutal. Never have I been treated so poorly for such a top price item. I was basically speaking to a brick wall when dealing with Audi Canada. The dealer was great but had to abide by Audi Canada. Seriously, think twice before you buy an Audi!

I would like to bring your attention this issue, hopefully I can gain support to have this issue resolved. Hopefully someone that actually cares about the Audi brand and their promise of excellent after sales services contacts me. My details are on the Audi system. I bought the car brand new from Audi in November 2011. On the 3rd day I had a serious clutch shudder and was informed Audi where I have always taken my car, that it was due to my driving style. I took the car in 40 times to the dealership (as per my tracker records 0) in total to have the clutch issue address, gearbox issue and oil consumption issue, and kept getting told there was no issue. Eventually after almost having numerous accidents due to the inability to put off from robots and standing starts, I went to Audi and offered to pay to have them remove my gearbox and clutch to find the issue at my own expense and only then did they drop the gearbox and clutch, only then did they pick-up. I quote that my clutch was worn. This statement does not make sense as I have been experiencing this since day 3 after receiving my brand new car and I believe the statement made that it was my drive style was a lie. This process took almost 4 years. They informed me that my model does not actually have any sensors to pick up this issue, it is a manual. So I dont know how they could tell me that no issue was found. At 8000 km they change a major gear part in my gearbox and I was not informed of this nor was I allow to request a fix, replacement or repair. Most recently, my cars ecu unit on the steering wheel was showing errors on my dashboard. Audi Burma stated that they could find no evidence of this, even after a I showed them a video of the issue. Nor did they inform me to be careful as this affects my abs, which put my life in danger. On the evening that I collected my car from Audi which they had for a week, I notice a loud knocking noise on my front suspension. I took the car to Audi as no longer trusted that Audi branch they found my steering arms were damaged, required replacement. I was informed by that they were so warm I could have had a serious accident had I continued to drive. So this car was release by the dealership and no any quality check done is beyond me so this is the third time Audi has put my life as risk.I have proof that my car was at the dealership 40 times in four years yet there are only 8 job cards created, no explain has been offered for this nor after at least 30 requests to have the original job cards, nothing has been forth coming. During this period I had informed the dealership of excessive high oil usage starting in early 2014. They ran test (so they told me) but refused to show me the results and said there was no issue. I took my car to a different dealership, they ran the same tests and found that indeed my car was using an excess amount of oil and recommend that my engine be rebuilt as per Audi technical papers. This test was done 4 weeks prior to my maintenance plan running out. Now the dealership refuses to rebuild my car and has delayed the whole process till after my maintenance has expired. When I query this, they say Sorry your car is out of maintenance plan and I must pay for the repair.Audi customer care in south Africa has been informed of all these issue and have all the recordings of the conversations, yet they will not do anything to assist me. I was promised a meeting with the regional after sales manager. He contacted the branch and then refused to meet with me. So clearly if a customer complains they simply ban you from the premises and then hope you will go away. I have this in an office letter from Audi customer services. I have never in my life ever heard of this happening to anyone. Currently I still have a broken gearbox which was first reported to Audi in 2013 and excessive oil usage problems. Therefore, I ask that someone with authority get involved as the customer service department refuses to supply me with management contact details and messages left for customer service manager go unreturned.

Audi offer sports cars, they are very nice and comfortable. Has a clean and very nice look. Audi probably makes the best look for a car thats why it makes me so happy. Basically on all Audis, they have real nice spoilers. Usually they are low level ones and they make the car in general look very good, the engine as well. Most Audis carry 2 passengers, but the Audi I drive thankfully has 4 seats, so Im not affected by this. Most people are though. Sadly, I have close friends that have a 2 seat Audi. In 2007, I purchased a 2003 Audi convertible A4 - 3.0. A few months after purchasing the car with 40,000 miles on the car and 1 month after the warranty expired, the CVT transmission went out. I contacted the local Audi dealer after a lot of wrangling the dealer reluctantly advised Audi would help me with 50% of the repair cost. My portion of this bill was $2,800. 40,500 miles after the transmission was replaced, I need yet another transmission. I called the local Audi dealer and was told that they warrant these transmissions for only 1 year. I asked if Audi would cover a portion of the cost of another transmission and he said no. I called the Audi headquarters and again was told that they only guaranteed the transmissions for 1 year. The lady I spoke with told me that they covered my first transmission replacement at 75% of the cost (I was told 50% by the dealership) and by my calculations, if they covered 75%, then the replacement transmission cost was in the range of $11,200! Bottom line: Audi has a faulty CVT transmission and they should back their product. I realize nothing last forever, but three transmissions within 80,500 miles is ridiculous!

My family has owned 6 VWs and Audis. The A4s were flawless, and the Tiguans worked well. The 2010 Q5 had mechanical and component issues and the new 2014 Q5 is getting gas mileage 10-20% below EPA sticker. Our overall mileage average is 10% below the city EPA value even though we live in the suburbs of Boston, and rarely drive into the city. I believe it is costing me $300-400 more per year in fuel. Audi says the car is operating within specification but I know what my mileage reading are. The Audi customer service people were professional when they delivered a finding I did not agree with. Otherwise the car works as promised. Have other readers had poor gas mileage???

I wish I could rate my service at ZERO stars. In brief, returned to my car at end of work day and battery was dead. Called AAA and quickly started it with a jump. Drive for 30 minutes and picked up my dog. Got back in car and battery dead again. Friendly stranger provided a jump. Started up quickly. Drove home and parked. Lights and radio automatically turned off as usual. Locked. Scheduled Audi roadside assistance for a.m. and appt at dealership. Car was again quickly jumped and started. Drive 30 minutes and dropped off at RVA Audi dealership. Got new battery but was told not covered by warranty because power left on. Pray tell how that is possible when radio AND lights are automatic???? And, even if this lie were true, the battery, if properly functioning, would be jump started, and would then be good to go. This is yet another attempt by Audi to evade responsibility for warranty coverage. 2nd time in the short 8 months I have had this car! So disappointed in how unethical this company has become. #lastaudiforthisgal

There was a recall on oil consumption on my 2011 Audi Q5. I took it to the dealership to have them check and repair, as soon as I got the information. I did this every time the oil light went on. They put in oil, reported back that all was well. Then, at time before this last one, ran a test, said to come back in 1,000 miles. This last time, the oil light went on and I went to service. They ran tests, now Audi says that I need a complete piston job at 77,804 miles. This is a modern car, how is it I should need a engine rebuilt at these miles. If there were really problems with this model, it should be Audi that fixes the car. Why would anyone want to buy an Audi with this kind of engine and the inability to fix their cars.

Bought a new 2012 A6 18 months ago. About 3 weeks ago started getting a strong mold smell coming from the AC. Took it to the dealer who said they had repaired it, but the smell persists. Scheduled to go back tomorrow for more work-- they mentioned installing charcoal filter and ensuring that the water drains are clear. Worried that we are inhaling large amounts of mold by following their instructions to keep running the AC. Anyone have similar problems? Cant stand the smell much longer.

My purchase day was overshadowed by joy of buying a car, failing to see that Audi was not about the purchaser nor providing all 10s service. What has really maddened me today is I get a call I am thinking is a survey of my recent servicing, only to get hung up on, unable to express my concerns due to lack of professional communication. I thought I was saying yes to the rep saying all my information correctly. But after being hung up on, it left me wondering what was the call about. Not even a goodbye, thank you. Audi wants buyers to think they are for satisfaction but they only do things that is necessary just to say they have done it because they dont care if they have met the goal or provided customer satisfaction. I have been battling with them ever since my purchase but my concerns are not what they care to hear. I had to have a second delivery in which even direct, specified, unsatisfactory issues were not even addressed that I had pointed out in a written response. I wish I would have took my business elsewhere. Sometimes I wonder the true value of the whole deal.I wish there was another rep I could make a formal complaint to but I am going to keep long for that. It almost seems as if a $60,000 price means nothing to the dealer about committing to satisfaction. I have had a repair done and the console piece pop right off the next day, which clearly was not attached properly, only to have the same issue serviced again in less than 2 months. I see why people buy BMW and Mercedes. The service is better, the agreement is firm, and you are not judged. They make it known to please give us all 10s on the survey at Greensboro Audi but they are less than 6. I like my car but the way I feel about how they treat me, sometimes I just want to sell it back just to rid myself of the association with Audi.

Ours is the second Audi convertible weve had, and the engineering is top notch. And service has been excellent also, so I can see it could be bewildering for some people like me to come across these horror stories. However, Ive always been concerned about the what if something breaks? aspect. Especially with a cloth roof! Well, I hated to let the last Audi convertible go (it was a gorgeous amulet red). But I was afraid of the cost of repair, if something did go wrong, so Im somewhat consoled by these stories (sorry, folks).Anyhow, we had the first convertible, an A4, for 6 years and there were no problems after they fixed a squeaky speaker soon after we took ownership. Otherwise, I remember the only issue was one side of the glove box, where the plastic hinge ripped a little, so it was hard to close properly. As for the A5 weve had now almost 4 years, the battery failed and they replaced it under the warranty (phew, beat the expiration date... that things around $300!). Also, the transmission seemed to jerk through gears, and they did spend 3 days (!) repairing that under warranty. The only other oddity is a silly thing... the black button that resets the trip meter... its lost or peeled its paint and looks an ugly white. Ill definitely get that fixed soon before its done 50,000 miles! So, to sum up, these cars have been excellent to drive (note that were spoiled after having had a Sebring convertible previously). I am concerned about the transmission not being as smooth as that in a new Honda Ridgeline we bought last year. So I predict well keep the Audi up to two years more but next time, I think well LEASE the next Audi or maybe even a BMW.

For many months I’ve had issues with the Audi website. Trying to pay my car payment online is a hassle and becomes a giant waste of time each month. The online financial services portal on their website always has issues and makes it impossible to make your payment online without calling customer service. When you try to get a hold of anyone through the phone whether it’s Audi or Audi Financial there’s an extremely long hold time, and if you take advantage of the “call back” option they have you may be able to get a call back days or even weeks later in some of my personal experiences. As I’m writing this review this issue still has not been resolved. If you are looking to finance your vehicle through Audi Financial, or care about having a good customer service experience I would highly suggest you rethink choosing Audi. So far I have enjoyed my vehicle and haven’t had any issues as a first time Audi owner, but this customer service experience will definitely be a huge part of any future decision I may make about purchasing a vehicle through Audi. Customer service and online ease of use go hand in hand with a quality vehicle, especially when it’s a luxury brand.

After bringing my 2012 Audi S5 with 30,000 miles to Audi NYC several times, and without them being able to resolve my issues - I contacted Audi corporate offices hoping they can assist in resolving my issues with extremely squeaky brakes. I was referred to a supervisor, named Christine ** who also did not help me at all. After explaining several times to Audi corporate employees and this supervisor, my issues were brushed off and I was presented with their proposed resolution which was to lubricate my brake pads, a procedure that had already been performed on my vehicle previously without resolving the issues. This is the most unprofessional customer service I have dealt with and thanks to their horrible customer care and retention department I will be trading in my vehicle for a BMW, where the customer service actually listens to and cares for their consumers.

I bought an Audi Q3 and the dealer offered me a 3 years leasing with full prepayment, conditioned to monthly account each payment prepaid. This is not happening and after talk 3 times to dealer, talk to Audi Customer Finance and AUDI USA, they send me one to another one and no solution. I need them to change the way they did the accounting, considering my debt fully paid. Instead, they should account as prepayment and deduct monthly from my debt.

The vehicle has never missed a service and yet it has had issues since the very first week it was purchased new from Audi Centre Perth in May 2010 for just over $100,000.00. See the History of excess oil consumption which is ongoing, gearbox malfunction at 62,000km, and now the catastrophic engine failure at 102,000km, due to the faulty timing chain tensioner. The most disappointing thing of all is that once you actually begin to investigate these issues it is very clear to see that Audi were well aware of these issues all along. In fact, only after legal action in the USA, they agreed to rectify these issues at no cost to owners. The oil issue is covered for an extended 8 years or 88,000 miles for 3 options of rectification, and the engine failure due to the faulty timing chain tensioner is covered for 10 years or 100,000 miles with a replacement of the engine. However by far the worst part that I find completely outrageous is the fact that there was a recall in the USA of all vehicles with this engine type to replace the faulty Timing Chain tensioner due to the significant number of engines having to be replaced, yet Audi Australia failed to even advise owners of the high probability of a catastrophic engine failure. The lack of disclosure to Australian owners denied them and me the option of even paying for a replacement tensioner, at a much smaller cost, and prevent what appears to be the inevitable engine failure and the significant cost to rectify that. The exact situation that I find myself in now.The failure of Audi Australia and the Audi Service Centre to inform me at any stage that there was a known defect in the timing chain tensioner, and advise me that it would be wise to replace it at a small cost now, rather than be left with an enormous unexpected cost down the track. The cost is one thing however the absolute inconvenience of the vehicle being off the road for 3 weeks now, combined with having to hire a car and not being offered a loan car after 3 weeks, is also unacceptable.

I bought this car new in 2007 - A6. Today 80,000 miles basically 10,000 miles year, always took care of it like diamond service in time never speed, during this last 8 years I tried always find the best in the car and ignore the worst like when you love something you look only qualities. But the true is this car sucks. Today was raining. I went for lunch and for my surprise when I open the door a lake inside my car. Thats it - taking this to a Mercedes dealership. Get any money I can for it and moving to a Mercedes or something else. Audi is full of marketing but far from perfection. A car that can hold the rain is not a car.
