Aston Martin Will Unveil Two New Cars At Pebble Beach
Posted On: August 2, 2022
It's been a rather tumultuous few months for 007's automaker of choice. Aston Martin has had to contend with financial woes and was recently rescued by a substantial investment. Amidst this, the carmaker has redesigned its iconic winged logo and introduced the V12 Vantage. But at the upcoming Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, the Gaydon-based brand is planning to reveal two all-new products, in an attempt to woo more customers and drum up business. rnThe company hasn't said much but has hinted at what we can expect. The first of the two newcomers will be an "ultra-exclusive model" that will be shown for the first time. Created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Q by Aston Martin - the marque's bespoke service - the company says the secret new vehicle "encapsulates the brand's winning track bloodline" and also pays tribute to the racing team's success at Le Mans. The vehicle in question could very well be the Valhalla Pro, a hardcore variant of the already mesmerizing Valhalla. We speculated that the racier derivative may be in the works when Aston Martin posted a cryptic teaser on its various social media channels. This would be a rather fitting place for the brand to reveal the Pro, as the original vehicle made its North American debut at Pebble Beach just last year. Described as a "truly thrilling performance-focused model," the second of the to-be-revealed pair is most likely the V12 Vantage Volante. We've known for some time that a drop-top variant is on the cards; we expect it to retain the same twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 with 690 horsepower and 555 lb-ft of torque. The company notes the latest member of the Aston Martin family will be unveiled at a private VIP event on August 19 and made available to view by special invitation. Elsewhere, the automaker is hoping to stir excitement around the brand by offering test drives of the high-performance DBX 707 SUV and by providing development updates on the aforementioned Valhalla, which itself has received a revised interior concept. As a reminder, the Valhalla boasts a V8 engine which calls on electrical assistance for a total output of 937 hp. The company's Renato Bisignani said that Pebble Beach is the ideal opportunity for Aston Martin to connect with customers and preview its latest products. "We look forward to celebrating Aston Martin's new era of performance at Pebble Beach and displaying our iconic ultra-luxury models, including a world-first reveal of an exciting new model, and the public debut of another thrilling addition to our breathtaking portfolio."

Dream car but straight out of the factory the door shuts and bonnet are out of alignment and the car rear quarters and boot has obviously had paint rectification as evidence of overspray, rough masking edges and silicon inclusion with paint thicknesses on car ranging from 120-290 microns (all evidenced and reported by an independant engineer).Dealer (Jardine Motors / Lancasters) has been worse than useless and made the matter worse by burning through the paint in three places. They also confirmed in writing and verbally they go through a check process at the factory however a large number of new cars coming through to us will still need some form of paint rectification or polishing/buffing before handover .Whatever you do make sure you go over the car with a fine tooth comb and DO NOT just assume it is a brand new car everything will be perfect, because ours is now going to court.

Terrible terrible vehicle, experience and customer service. Having bought a brand new Vantage I have endured no enjoyment whatsoever. Fault after fault have become only too familiar. Aston Martin have refused to assist with rectifying any of my issues. If you buy an Aston Martin beware you will not receive assistance from the manufacturer. Passenger door has drooped and now chipped. Clicking noises coming from gearbox. Red airbag warning light. EDF warning light. Whistling noises through windows at speed. Steering wheel pointing at 11 oclock. All of the above within 1 month of owning the vehicle. Quality control clearly were not focused on the day my vehicles build was complete. If you notice faults within the first 14 days then return the vehicle immediately to dealer. BEWARE!!!
