Aston Martin House In Tokyo Comes With An Automotive Gallery
Aston Martin has dipped its toe back into real estate, this time in Japan, after unveiling its Miami condos at the beginning of this year.
Rather than a building with hundreds of units, Aston Martin has poured its creative energy into a single house built for a wealthy owner in Tokyo's Minami Aoyama suburb. The house is, predictably, already sold.
The expansive four-story luxury home is so luxurious Aston Martin doesn't call the garage a garage. Instead, the spot, which looks like it could barely fit an Aston Martin DBX, is referred to as an "automotive gallery." Aston's designers worked with a local architect on 001 Minami Aoyama, in addition to Japanese concierge company VIBROA. The home itself is enormous, though the square footage isn't specified. Aston Martin says the house features many luxury amenities you'd typically find in a resort, not a house. That includes a rooftop terrace with Tokyo views abound, a wine cellar, a home theater, a gym, and a spa.
The house is Aston Martin's first real estate collaboration in Asia, but the trend is something we've seen grow for some time now. An Aston Martin House was already built here in the States, and Bentley has joined in on the Miami apartment game.
Marek Reichman, Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of Aston Martin, provided some insights on the house's design. "The influence of Tokyo culture, with its amazing history and style, holds an important creative space within our design studio," said Reichman.
"Outside, we've created a striking architectural form with clean lines and seamless boundaries so the residents can connect with and experience this unique location. Inside, we've catered to the senses, using a holistic combination of elements and materials to create a calm and relaxing space for them to retreat," Reichman concluded.
Construction on the already-sold home is set to finish by this time next year.

Terrible terrible vehicle, experience and customer service. Having bought a brand new Vantage I have endured no enjoyment whatsoever. Fault after fault have become only too familiar. Aston Martin have refused to assist with rectifying any of my issues. If you buy an Aston Martin beware you will not receive assistance from the manufacturer. Passenger door has drooped and now chipped. Clicking noises coming from gearbox. Red airbag warning light. EDF warning light. Whistling noises through windows at speed. Steering wheel pointing at 11 oclock. All of the above within 1 month of owning the vehicle. Quality control clearly were not focused on the day my vehicles build was complete. If you notice faults within the first 14 days then return the vehicle immediately to dealer. BEWARE!!!
Just ordered a new vanquish from Mayfair dealership. Incredibly excited and look forward to its delivery. Kid in a candy store stuff ..
Dream car but straight out of the factory the door shuts and bonnet are out of alignment and the car rear quarters and boot has obviously had paint rectification as evidence of overspray, rough masking edges and silicon inclusion with paint thicknesses on car ranging from 120-290 microns (all evidenced and reported by an independant engineer).Dealer (Jardine Motors / Lancasters) has been worse than useless and made the matter worse by burning through the paint in three places. They also confirmed in writing and verbally they go through a check process at the factory however a large number of new cars coming through to us will still need some form of paint rectification or polishing/buffing before handover .Whatever you do make sure you go over the car with a fine tooth comb and DO NOT just assume it is a brand new car everything will be perfect, because ours is now going to court.
Aston Martin is the go-to brand if youre looking for a robust and manly car.
Its a shame the Valkyrie was the subject of limited production, would have loved to get my hands on one. The look, the feel, the 3D scanning fitted seats...what a beauty to behold.
This product is everything i was looking for and more. its so well=made, so durable, really takes care of my skin. A true gem.
