The electric 2024 Porsche Macan was spotted in prototype form testing on public roads. In next-generation form, the Macan is set to be the automaker's second EV when it's revealed next year. The electric Macan will sport a number of new design elements when it arrives in the U.S. in 2024. The Cadillac Celestiq was teased with new images revealing the car's front and rear profile, along with parts of the dashboard and rear seats. Set to debut on July 22, the Celestiq will serve as the halo vehicle for both Cadillac and General Motors with each unit being hand-built in Warren, Michigan, starting in 2023. The V-8 is finally set to return to the Ford Raptor lineup. On July 18 the Ford F-150 Raptor R will debut with a supercharged V-8 engine, which is likely out of the Mustang Shelby GT500. Expect over 700 horsepower to take on the Ram 1500 TRX. The radio is modern and I can use all of my wireless or Bluetooth devices with no problem. You can upgrade your truck to include many features like a better radio, side ramps and twenty four inch rims. You can also get an alarm package. I would also like to someday purchase the new Coup de Ville.

Cadillac offer many models to choose from, which are Seville, Deville, Allante. The Deville has been my choice because of its traditional styling and clean lines. It also performs amazingly well. The appearance of my Cadillac is just breathtaking, I get looks of approval from people everywhere. It has a beautiful finish that has held up well even under the worst weather conditions. The upgrade options are electric windows and individual front electric seats where both riders can adjust their desired seat positions. My Cadillac also has the deepest plush carpet which is very comfortable. Also, my Cadillac Deville has a large passenger capacity where 6 people can be very comfortable riding in it. The all leather seats are so soft. A babys butt couldnt be any softer than they. Overall, my car is a joy to own.

Their cars have lots of room for passengers with a roomy inside and large areas for seating and passenger economy with ashtrays and individual controls for each seat for each passenger.

Purchased with under 40K miles ... problems started immediately Within a month, CD player started not functioning properly (has Nav). Brought to the dealer. Repair: R + R head unit... cost $2500 + labor $2500...? You can buy a hell of a home stereo for a lot less!! All it needed was to have the laser aligned and it was replaced with some other unit from Cadillac (remember R & R no actual fixing here) so someone else has my used $2500 player that probably took about 2 minutes to realign the laser... What was I expecting for $2500?Very quickly found that the car uses a quart of oil about every 1000... Do you want to hear what the Cadillac tech told me when I asked him what should I do? He said, I recommend keeping a case of oil in the back - nice. The cars original sticker was $55K. The steering rack at 40K started to leak... R & R 1000 bucks later... brought home. Next morning, the AC Delco unit they put in leaked worse. They replaced it... Does that mean it was free?At 60K, the right front wheel bearings at $450. I cant tell you how many times Ive had to replace the right front directional at $125. Now I use my fist with a good glove and bash the directional and at least for a while it comes back on (Cadillac glove) - saves a few $100 every year. About 80K, the left front wheel bearing replaced... another $450 repair. Did you know some places on the road get almost $10 for a quart of synthetic Mobil One? Is that synthetic or pathetic? I lost track of how many quarts Ive added in 4 years...I actually had a pretty good stretch for awhile until last week... just turned 100k... Seems the timing chain loosened up, slipped a couple of teeth, valve spring broke, bent a valve and put a hole in the valve cover. $55K and the motor cant go 100K without detonating... As I write, the motor is apart waiting for GM parts (Please...cant we use some aftermarket parts instead?) This bill ought to be a whopper! Ive spent more money on this car for maintenance than the last 10 cars I have owned. Buy American? Buy GM? NEVER AGAIN.

They will let you upgrade the heck out of the car just as long as you have the money for them. You can do it all if you want to spend. I knew the car was upgraded but the features were great and I could not believe it had so many different bells and whistles. You can also fit a lot of things and people in this car. It is quite roomy.

I bought my 2013 SRX in 2014 and it had 12000 miles on it. The transmission shifts so hard, GM says this is normal. I dont think so. They had a recall on it, but I cant tell a difference. My cue screen quit working at 61k miles. Just over factory warranty. Dealership told me it would be at least 1200.00 to fix it, I opted to go without. Fast forward 6 months. My front left tire will not hold air, its a brand new tire. Come to find out, my rim has corroded and will not seal to the tire. Eventually, this happened with all 4 tires. Meanwhile, my cue screen has started cracking on the inside. I dont even use the cue module because it doesnt work. Dealership said it cracked because of the heat. I end up with a flat tire at end of my driveway, I go to change it, no spare, no donut. Just a can of fix a flat type stuff. I call dealership, they tell me to call roadside assistance. Seriously? I find out from the internet that I can order the cue replacement screen on Amazon for 80 bucks. I did. Then I took it to a local mechanic and had them install it for me. Cost me 130 bucks to have it installed. Beats the hell out of the minimum of 1200 for Cadillac. They try telling you the whole unit needs replaced. They take it, slap a new screen on it and sell it as refurbished. Crooks! So after buying new rims and an aftermarket screen and dealing with a hard shifting car, Im at 91k miles at this point, I get in my car to leave work and the ac stopped working. Took it to my fave local mechanic. He tries to fix it but apparently it is a sensor that has to be fixed by a gm dealer so it can be reprogrammed. Of course it does! To sum it all up, the Cadillac looks nice, the electronics quality is definitely lacking, and Cadillac does not stand behind their product. I will never buy another gm product again. My money will go back to Nissan.

It also has ornaments and tattoos. It has auto-pilot and TVs inside of it. Its personalization options are unlimited as are all the other cars Ive purchased. Ive upgraded the engine and the tires for a more rounded car. I recommend Cadillacs to all of my family and friends. Its price however is a bit unreasonable. Furthermore, the passenger capacity is not very good. You can only fit 2 people in the car including the driver. Id much rather have a 4 seater car than a 2 seater car. But it was an enjoyable experience.

The entertainment system is the best Ive ever had. The dvd play has great picture quality. The interior is excellent / and the heated seats come in handy during the winter months. Passenger capacity is good too. I dont have but one child and she loves the fact that she has all the backseat room to herself. The driver side is very comfortable and roomy as well. There are many differents upgrades and personal options which is the package I brought. The body model is great but I dont like the newer models body style.

Returned car to dealer and they ran codes but could not find a problem. Returned the car a second time for the same problem with no luck. Radio also loses signal in supermarket and Lowes parking lots. I have a 2011 GMC Terrain, has never dropped a signal Suspect XT radio or the antenna.Returned the car a third time and was given a loaner with the same radio. That radio also dropped SXM 69, 7 and 71. I returned the loaner. Sent letter to Cadillac customer assistance explaining the problem. Requested a written response, nope. I never got. Several days get phone call and was told to call SXM. Another refresh sent. Next day my wife goes to the market, drives in the parking lot, no signal. Florida does have lemon law. I would prefer Cadillac solve their problem. My patience is wearing thin.

Adding a follow up to my previous post regarding my CTS, the radiator blew the main hose right out of it and took out the transmission lines. The car has less than 60,000 miles, but because the warranty is up, Cadillac refused to accept responsibility for poor quality and a defect in the radiator. I paid $1,225.00 to fix the problem and put only 300 miles on the car before it was leaking transmission fluid. The GM garage sent a wrecker after the car (all the new parts were under warranty) and the problem they found was a defective new radiator. Everything needed to be replaced again! Interesting that this genuine GM part was defective, but Cadillac refuses to accept responsibility for the first one. I have read other consumer reports of the same thing happening to other CTSs. How many does it take for a recall to be issued and for Cadillac to acknowledge the problem?

I had to take my Cadillac in because the fuel gauge would not work properly. I simply washed my xt5 and somehow it caused the door locks to not work. It cost me $575 to get it fixed. I called the corporate office seeking a refund and give Cadillac a chance to stand by their product but they refused. So, if you want to take a chance and buy a Cadillac....good luck.

It was my mother’s day gift from my love. To top that in 2 months I lost my only grand daughter and her 3 year old girl in a horrific wreck roll over auto accident where they drowned in the bayou of Louisiana. It was so devastating to where all I wanted to do was die. Then 2 weeks later lost 3 very long time best friends in weird tragic ways.Rented a car for 3 months then found this incredible awesome 2013 Cadillac XTS 4. Only 6,000 miles from previous owner. I was happy to say the sales rep got me through to the purchase and it was my Miracle Car. I have loved it with all my heart and had more compliments than ever on an auto from young kids to people so old they could hardly walk with their canes or walkers. It is an absolute beauty.BUT now... along with so, so many I found online with exact same problem, most threatening, suggesting or planning to file a class action suit, I too am so distraught because the CUE SYSTEM is OUT! It began (like most others) at the bottom level, then in short time, maybe 2 weeks, the entire system went out. NO navigation, no radio, no Sirius XM, which Ive paid a year in advance for. No car phone, no emergency contact info. The car was purchased as a luxury with all of this in it, but now it is NOT working! I suggested to the big online group to let’s ask Cadillac to do a RECALL since so many have or will have this same problem, trying to talk them out of a class action suit.I do NOT want to make a bad name for Cadillac as I LOVE the dealership, the SERVICE representatives and mechanics and the dept. Their services are the BEST ever! The salesman who sold it to me was the BEST ever. Im 77 so Ive purchased a lot of cars and dealt with a lot of salesmen! Will you PLEASE, PLEASE help me to get this CUE Infotainment Center replaced? I was told by dealership it would be a minimum of $1,200 and others were told up to $1,900.We are appalled that our warranties and extended warranties do not cover replacement and there is no fix for it. Warranties state that the only classification is RADIO and radio is not covered. Thanks for your help. Hopefully to assist me in pulling out of this deep depression and downhill slide with this all now happening on top of everything else. This system is really the only companionship I had when traveling alone.

Great family car! The only downsides... gas mileage could be better and cost/difficulty of repairs. In January of 2011, I purchased a 2008 Cadillac STS in excellent condition, with less than 20,000 miles 20,000 ARIZONA MILES! That means no snow exposure and little, if any at all, rain exposure. With such low mileage and the excellent condition of the car, I was looking forward to several years of enjoying it.Cadillac vehicles have been a constant in my family for as long as I can remember. My grandfather bought a new one every 12-18 months and my father has ALWAYS had a Cadillac - a new one every 2 years. I was excited to continue this family tradition. I took extra special care of the cars I do all my cars. I purchased the extended warranty and serviced the car, oil changes and ALL other service, ONLY at Legends Cadillac, which became Earnhardt.In the early part of 2014, my car began making an unusual noise only upon the first cold start in the morning. Of course, I took the car to Earnhardt for a diagnosis. I was told that the service department was unable to replicate the noise and thus could not provide a diagnosis, but that the car seemed to check out and be running just fine. There were no concerns.The power train warranty expired at the end of June, while the car was still well below 70,000 miles. In August of this year, while driving with my 2 young children, I received a message stating OIL LOW, TURN OFF CAR. I was able to drive to the dealership for service. This appointment revealed only, according to JD our service manager, that an oil pressure sensor wire had come loose causing the alert message. I asked if this could be related to the noise that they had been unable to diagnose, which had significantly worsened over time. JD told me no, stated that the car was running fine and sent me on my way.A couple of weeks ago, with the noise now EXTREMELY loud and a noticeable hesitation on acceleration, my wife contacted JD and told him that there was definitely a problem and demanded to drop the car off at service. Two days later, I received a call from JD stating that there was a major problem, oil pressure related, that had caused extensive damage to the engine and would cost $4,800.00 to repair! Oil pump issue. I ended the conversation knowing that I did not have $4,800.00 laying around and available, to fix the car. I also stated that a Cadillac that has been babied, with less than 70,000 miles, should absolutely not have repair issue of this magnitude.I then received a call from JD, much later the same day, stating that he had taken it upon himself and spent several hours on the phone with Cadillac, going to bat for me, to have the repair costs reduced. He then revealed a reduced repair cost of $1,800.00, and acted as though I should be forever grateful for this good deed on behalf of himself and Cadillac?? This good deed, if anything, indicates to me a sense of guilt or responsibility. I responded stating that this was still an enormous amount of money and a problem that should not exist at less than 70,000 miles. Additionally, I reminded him that I had brought the car in to service, prior to the expiration of the Power Train warranty, for this issue AND that the car had been in service for an OIL PRESSURE ISSUE in August. Again, he mentioned the good deed offer that Cadillac was willing to extend.My wife went to the dealership to pick up the car. She requested full service records and was told by JD, that he was unable to print them, and that he could only see them on his computer screen. He blamed this issue on the Legends/Earnhardt transition. My wife insisted on obtaining the service records, even if it meant that she would need to take pictures of his computer screen showing the records. JD replied saying that he would try. He then returned 10 minutes later with printed service records. My wife noticed that the most recent records were missing and asked JD about them. He acted surprised and said that he would check again. He returned with the service record from August 2014. My wife proceeded to ask about the record for when the car was brought to service for the unidentifiable noise, PRIOR TO THE POWER TRAIN WARRANTY EXPIRATION. She was told, by JD, that because there was no service completed, there was no official record of the visit?!?!?In summation, neither Earnhardt nor GM/Cadillac, has made any attempt to follow up with me regarding the situation, even though I have pursued an answer on a management level. They have clearly demonstrated that the loyalty in this relationship was one sided, on my part, and that they clearly do not value my business. Do yourself a favor, STEER CLEAR OF EARNHARDT CADILLAC IN SCOTTSDALE, AND CADILLAC IN GENERAL!

It seems like every time we fix one thing, something else happens. We first had the transmission rebuilt, brake hose replaced because it sat for a long time. Now the key gets stuck in the ignition. We have to stick something in the steering wheel column to get it out and we cant tell where the gas needle is on the odometer. Can someone offer some help or is it time for a new car?

Further, its always garaged and in immaculate condition and religiously maintained at dealership. But three window regulators required replacing, including both rear doors. Now, the drivers side rear door needs a regulator and/or a control module. That door has to be manually locked or unlocked now. I have no kids, and I live alone. No one uses that door but me to carry groceries. Estimate again is $500 or so. I planned to replace this car at 200,000 miles. I have not decided that Im willing to spend another $500 on the windows and door locks. Mechanical problems at this mileage would be acceptable to a degree. However, the same failures of electrical components that secure the vehicle and passenger safety are unacceptable for a vehicle of this promoted quality. My replacement car will not be a GM vehicle.

Drive shaft part alone is between $680 to $800 depending upon VIN. This part is a Carrier Bearing, for the rest of the world, and they have been available from every manufacturer I can think of $60-$70. And the Cadillac dealer sends me their new car literature?

It was pricier than other cars Ive owned but Ive never once regretted this purchase. This car has taken me amazing places and has been completely dependable and reliable. I love the sleek, modern look of my Cadillac CTS. This car’s interior features are what had me sold. This car contains a beautiful leather interior with heated seats and is extremely spacious inside. The only thing that I dislike about it is the poor gas mileage my Cadillac gets. There have been times Ive been on long commutes and have watched the gas gauge go down in front of my eyes.

Also in January 2017, 2 emissions related sensors had to be replaced. Later in 2017, another sensor had to be replaced. In October 2018, both front end wheel bearings and windshield washer sprayer had to be replaced at about 58,000 miles. In January 2019, the purge solenoid thingie had to be replaced at about 65,000 miles -- a recall that wasnt officially classified as a recall. In May 2019, my car wouldnt start as if the fairly new battery was dead. Dealer ran a diagnostic check. No problems were detected. Now at almost 72,000 miles, the CUE system is malfunctioning again. I plan for this to be my last Cadillac. I am now shopping for a Hyundai, Toyota, Nissan, Honda or any other dependable brand to replace this Cadillac lemon.

While using the CTS I assured it received the required maintenance such as oil changes, etc. February 2015 I noticed one night the vehicle began driving a little sluggish. I decided once I got home I would call in the morning to schedule an appointment. The next day I started the car and it would not turn over. It was below zero degrees that day so I accounted the issue to the weather. A few days later when the temperatures improved, I started the vehicle again with negative results.I had the vehicle towed to the local Cadillac dealership. They conducted a diagnostic exam of the engine (taking it apart) which costs $500 just for the techs to examine it. They called advising me the timing chain jumped 5 teeth on primary gear at crankshaft and there was low pressure in cylinder #6. In other words, they told me I would require a new engine at $9000! That is the new engine price and labor costs. I said no thank you, so they put the parts back in and I had the car towed to my residence.After further investigation, I realized this issue is more common than I thought. Several Cadillacs that are a CTS and other models have experienced similar issues. When I spoke with auto technicians about the issue for a second and third opinion, they gave similar responses. One auto tech that teaches automotive at the local high school and a technical school stated there are a lot of problems with Cadillac engines, especially North Star engines. He didnt even want to get a used engine for me afraid that it would also have engine trouble eventually and waste my money. He said my year and model are commonly known to have this issue. If this is indeed a common issue, why is there not a recall or lemon law case introduced?The dealer and Cadillac Corp is refusing to fix it because they state the power train warranty is up. Of course its up around the timeframe the engines begin to fail. A guy once told me when he saw me with the car be careful because after 100,000 miles they go downhill. They dont make them and build them to last like the old schools. I chalked it up to him being bitter. His Cadillac DTS transmission had to be replaced. He sold the vehicle quickly after and now I see why. I should have listened to him and sold it then.

I owned it for 20 months. $735 for the oil sending unit and valve cover gaskets, $180 crank sensor 6 days after I bought it, $700 for the third brake light, $600 for a thermostat, $1200 oil cooling unit which put oil in the cooling system and $115 for a radiator flush. Down the road, that car will need a new water pump and all new water hoses within a year after the oil incident. That may run another $1000. The car also has under 70K miles. Never again will I buy a Cadillac. Even if they address the quality issues, I will not own something that has $700 brake lights. If I fixed everything on it before I got rid of it, I would have spent a total of $4530 or $226.50/month in repairs. This is not counting everything I spent running premium fuel in it. I cannot believe the poor quality from Cadillac, the second oldest American car brand.

Thank God we stopped and no one crashed us from back. The street was full of oil from the damaged engine. We called the street help and then we took the car to the service at Garhood branch in Dubai. And after a day they called us and said, “Sorry, the engine is damaged. We will send an approval to GM mother company to change the engine. But we don’t want to repair it because it wasn’t our mistake.” The car must be changed and they ignored me. Kindly support me in this.

The XT4 is a great car. I bought my 2019 just recently and took a shake down trip to Dallas from Houston to see if there were any kinks in the car. It performed splendidly on the trip. I drove it 80 to 85 mph and it felt smooth and powerful. The only thing that happened and the reason for the low review score was that the car tried to kill me. I got some open road and floored the accelerator and to my surprise the pedal stuck to the floor. The turbo had kicked in and I was flying down the road. I shifted into neutral but the engine was revved all the way. Luckily I was able to take the side of my foot and manipulated the pedal back up to where its starting position. I said it must be a fluke so I did it again and I had the same outcome and same fix. I road on back into Houston with no other issues but I also wasnt going to floor the car again till I could look at the problem in day light. The next morning I found that the mud mats that came with the car was not installed in the two plastic holders and I initially thought the car was I had taken the car to had not popped them in properly but I discovered that Cadillac had left the carpeted floor mat in place under the mud mat. I didnt even know there was a mat under there. There is no way to get 2 mats to pop onto the two plastic holders so it was really Cadillac (the dealers) fault. This is a warning to anyone who has those hard mud mats to make sure they cant slide forward and interfere with the accelerator it could be disastrous.

On April 1st Easter Sunday I was driving to my familys home in Rosedale MD about 50 miles from my home. About 23 miles into the trip I looked in the rearview mirror and saw nothing but white smoke so I pulled over to the shoulder of a busy highway. Once I stopped the car, turned it off and popped the hood I saw fluid pouring out of the bottom of the car. Started the car back up to move it further in from the line of traffic but when I put it in gear it wouldnt move, turns out the fluid was Transmission fluid. Waited 3 1/2 hours for a tow and never made it to Easter Dinner. The next day I was contacted by the service station to tell me the transmission line going to the cooling radiator unit had blown and both the radiator and line needed replaced and that was gonna cost $850. So within 2 months car has been out of service twice. Not happy with Cadillac at this point as they will not stand behind any of their flaws in their cars. You would think a high quality name like Cadillac would want to keep their reputation good. I guess my next high quality vehicle will be either Lexus or BMW. Sad Cadillac doesnt have better management who cares about their reputation instead of them just getting a fat paycheck. Cadillac its time to rethink your corporate structure!!!

I spoke with a number of do nothings and unfortunates there. They assigned THREE (3) different case/file numbers (** then **, then again today: **). They keep putting this off. I want them to pick up the bill, pay for the repairs, etc. I should NOT have to be put through the inconvenience of being without my car for another two weeks for the exact SAME problem I already paid for three years ago. None of this solved the problem.On Monday 9/28/15 I took my car back into the dealership one more time for an oil change and diagnostic. This time they finally tell me that the timing chain needs to be replaced and that its going to cost me $2500. Disappointed and angry for being lied to for so long, I took it to another mechanic for a second opinion. This is when I learned that a recall was issued for the timing chain in 2014 and I was not notified. This is also when I learn that the recall is void when the car reaches 120000 miles. My car is now at 123000 and the dealership refuses to honor the recall.I was also told that I was not contacted about the warranty because since it isnt a safety recall, consumers were only made aware of the recall if their call showed signs of timing chain problems. In other words, Cadillac and Rancho Motors dont respect their customers. They knew in 2014 what was wrong with my car. There is no way they couldnt. Now my car is unsafe to drive and the timing chain and snap at any moment.

There were transmission issues: the car would hesitate when giving it the gas from a stopped or slowed position to the point it jerked you back in your seat. The battery completely died at 30,000 miles. The lift gate motor died at 32,000 miles because water from the sunroof drainage tubes literally soaked the motor, ($1800 fix). So, take my advice and just run as far away from this car as you can.

I’ve been reading these complaint issues, and as much as feel for the people writing them, my car has been running perfectly. I’ve replaced the HUD light as soon as I bought knowing it needed. Later, I replaced the AC Fan motor with an OEM unit and a new battery again OEM just recently as the vehicle had remained in a car storage unit for a year here in Ft. Lauderdale.The car does have a vibration between 64 and 72 MPH and seems to perform best at 80 MPH including best MPG. I love my Cadillac and maintain it to like new showroom condition. I need to replace the turn signal flasher at the moment, but just consumable items. I also noticed the relay for the starter is somewhat discolored due to heat and will replace it before anything happens.

I heard a little ticking sound coming from the driver side part of the engine and had it looked at. The maintenance tech said it might have just needed an oil change so I had him do it. Which of course did not stop the problem. So I had spoke to a couple of friends and family members to ask them what they thought and of course no one really knew. I kept up on the oil changes and always checked my fluids since I drove this car a lot back and forth between my home and Columbus and the car never gave me a problem just had a light ticking sound. Well needless to say August 20th 2013 I was heading back to Columbus and my engine gave up and was done. It blew up at my half way point to Columbus so I had my car towed to Germain Cadillac and paid $260.00 in a tow fee and asked them to look at it while I called GM. I waited a month just to find out my car was not going to be covered even though my warranty ran out of time not mileage and now they are wanting $200.00 for the inspection they did. GM is saying that there was burnt oil and that my car threw a rod and a bearing through the block. I still owe on the car and have not had it long enough to have these kind of problems with it. This is crazy. I showed them where the car had maintenance done on it every time I traveled and that the oil was changed every 6,000 to 7,000 miles. I am now looking to go forward with a class action Lawsuit.

Purchasing a car close to 100k is a bad idea. You just might as well buy a newer car. The repairs went into the thousands easily. Everything was breaking down and needed to be replaced. I was afraid to even drive the car after while, because the car can just shut down if there is a problem (youre unaware of)/I wouldve like some type of warning sign. Long story short - I ended up parking the car for a while until I was able to buy a new car (foreign). I still love they way they look but I would never buy one again. These cars are all over Craigslist now for pretty cheap which should tell you a lot.

I looked online for an answer to this issue and was very disappointed to see that the issue is an ongoing problem with MY 2010-2015 SRXs. I also discovered this issue is far more serious. Apparently there are drain tubes along the top on both sides inside the car. These tubes clog and cause water to instead run off back into the car soaking the front carpets, rear carpets and more importantly the control module for the rear power hatch which is located in the spare tire compartment. It was easy enough to open the rear hatch manually and also get to the module I understand, I can replace this, however the most disappointing issue overall is that Cadillac is aware of this issue from numerous complaints previously but refuses to step up and both recall and repair this issue. No wonder Cadillac has an overall satisfaction rating of 2 Stars. I would be very interested in joining a class action lawsuit with other SRX owners to force GM to fix this and cover all costs. It could be like the strut issue they are being sued for and someone may have to die before they decide to spend the money to do so! A month ago the tailgate started coming down on my girlfriend who was reaching in the back for something. Had she not noticed and got out of the path of the door this could have turned out a much worse story. I now realize this was the beginning of the circuit board deterioration as it quit just a month or so later. This issue obviously also hurts any resale value we had which was also an important part of our decision in purchasing the SRX. Anyone reading this that may have any info on a possible lawsuit please feel free to advise us so we may jump in. I am beginning to understand why American products are losing to our foreign competition. GM, the right thing to do is to step up for the Americans that you are supposed to represent and that put you on the map to start with, so admit this default, recall and repair this issue for us all at your expense and let us get on with our lives. Otherwise, I will never purchase another GM product again!

It had major issues with door actuators and ignition key jamming. Cadillac of Troy charged my dad big money to fix. It never got fixed. I remember the ignition key jamming a week before we sold that car after dad passed away. Our mom had a 1998 Cadillac Eldorado STS 2 door coupe. She hated that car and sold it. Said it was a piece of junk. So after both our parents pass away, what do I do??? I buy me a 2010 Cadillac SRX Performance Edition AWD. A week after I bought it, it rained real hard. I had swimming pools in the driver’s side and passengers side. I bought it used BTW. Researched roof leaks to find out 300,000 of these had the same issuer and there was an ongoing class action suit by people vs the state of California. Didnt help me, I am in Michigan.After I hollered lemon law, the used car dealer finally goes ahead and fixes the roof leak. Took them two months. I get the vehicle back and check engine light goes on. I have a P0017 code, possible bad timing chain. Finally after crying for 4 months, I get the warranty people (GWC Warranty) to finally fix my timing chain. WoooHhhooo!!! Dont get your hopes up too soon, for a week later, I have a P2135 code. Cadillac forums tells me I have a bad TPS sensor, but its better to replace the throttle body for its all built in. I do that.Three days after new throttle body I get a P0442 code. Possible bad purge valve solenoid sensor. Replaced that too. Did it myself. Got the parts online from BOSCH. Didnt feel like renting another car for a week while the warranty people Fixed my Cadillac. A week later I have a P0455 code, EVAP large leak detected. Now I have an appointment with Suburban Cadillac of Ann Arbor tomorrow 11/15/18 for them to run a smoke test to pinpoint what exactly is wrong with my Cadillac. Not fixing it. Mind you just the test, hopefully I go from there. Praying the good Lord shines luck my wait and the darn thing runs trouble and worry free for 1 year. For paying $13,999 USD with a service warranty putting it at $16,000 I was hoping for better reliability than this.

NO MORE GM FOR ME, FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND FRIENDS OF FRIENDS.And one more thing, there has been a knocking in my engine from the day I drove it off the lot but somehow every time I took it in to have GM their mechanics always told me thats normal for this type of vehicle to have knocking in the engine. When I took my vehicle outside of GM to be looked at by Cadillac mechanics, I have been told that this was not normal for this Cadillac to be knocking all the time. I rest my case with GM and whoever is running GM. Plus the windshield was never put in properly. It is just a badly made vehicle with the brand name Cadillac. What a shame for such a classic. Horrible experience with GM dealership, GM customer service and tried to reach the CEO Mary.

I walked away with just a scratch on my finger. Caddy saved me! So I found another one, had to do some maintenance to it (Battery, radiator & transmission flushed, alignments and tires balanced! Wanted that done whether it was needed or not), it runs great! Comfortable ride, quite and the V6 performs close to a V8. Its a luxury model! The AWD is great in snow/ice or rain. Just a solid gripping ride! Not happy with local Cadillac dealer so I go to Chevy/Buick dealer in Mendota! Very happy with them..

Ogden Ave, Suite #300 (Highway 34) in Naperville, IL, 60540-3998, phone number 847-329-0021, Dealer # 2698. On Monday August 6, 2012, my wife and I were told by the salesman that the 2001 Cadillac was one of their Certified Cars. He said that not all of their cars were certified. ** told us that meant that their mechanics had gone over the car and determined that it was in excellent mechanical condition. While test-driving the car, an indicator on the instrument panel displayed that the oil was at 87%. When brought to his attention, ** promised to have the oil changed and told my wife and I that they used only synthetic oil in the Cadillac (it was later proven not to be synthetic oil); and that if we had any more problems with the car, to let him know and he would take care of it. ** (the salesman) also told us that the car had Bluetooth, which I later discovered it does not have. ** also told us that the car had an active OnStar system. I later discovered that cars made before 2005 have an analog system, which means that I would have to purchase a $1,700.00 digital upgrade in order for the OnStar system to function.On our trip back to Fayetteville, TN, after stopping at the 3rd Toll station in IL, the indicator on the instrument panel came on again displaying 87% oil. This time the indicator went off as soon as we started moving and did not come back on again during the rest of the trip home. A few days later, I flew out to Phoenix, AZ to volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America for 8 days. I had only driven the car a few days after that 13-hour drive back home from Naperville, IL. I returned home August 27, 2012. My wife told me that the oil light was illuminated again, as well as the check coolant light has displayed in the instrument panel, and that she had noticed a puddle under the Car.I immediately took the car to the Express Oil Change, where I have all my oil change. The cars oil indicator was at 87% oil and the check coolant indicator had come up on the instrument panel - after only 1,200 miles of driving the car, most of which was from the drive home from Naperville, IL to Fayetteville, TN. I asked the Express Oil Change mechanic to check the oil and coolant. They told me that the oil stick was dry and that the car had only 3 quarts of oil in it (the car takes 7 quarts). The mechanic told me that the engine was burning up. He then recommended that I park the car and not drive it. He told me that the car was dangerous and that I was lucky that it had not blown up. They captured the 3 quarts of oil and told me it was regular oil and not synthetic oil as I was told by the salesman, ** at the NAC Outlet. I then called the dealership and spoke to **. He told me to take the car to a mechanic and have their mechanic talk to his mechanic, so they could talk technical terms because it was all Greek to him because he was not a mechanic. I took the car that day to the local GM dealer, Carriage Chevrolet. They put the car on the rack and saw that there was an extreme amount of oil leaking from both head gasket covers, the oil pan and the oil sensor, as well as coolant leaking. A puddle of coolant had leaked onto the ground after only 4 to 5 minutes on the rack. After an exterior check of the engine, the GM mechanic stated that this was an ongoing problem because the coolant as well as the oil had turned to a thick grease type material. I was also informed of a 10-page bulletin that GM had put out on the 2001 Cadillac SLS, with the Northstar engines on August 27, 2004, where the motor was required to be pulled and numerous gaskets, seals, bolts, cylinders, bushing, plates, alignment pins, spark plug tube seals, main seal, flywheel bolts, both head gaskets, rod bolts, and many more items needed to be replaced.I called ** at NAC Outlet and let him talk to the GM mechanic, as requested. The mechanic explained the problems they saw externally and informed ** of the 10-page bulletin that GM had put out on the 2001 Cadillac SLS, with the Northstar engines. ** got very angry with the mechanic and me, and hung up the phone on us. I called ** back on August 28, 2012. ** said this was out of his hands and I would have to talk to the sales manager. He said he would have ** call me. I called to talk with ** on August 30, 2012 at 3:00 pm (the time ** told me ** would be in) and was told ** was not there.I called back on August 31, 2012, and again was told ** was not there. I finally talked to ** at about 5:00 pm that afternoon. ** told me to call him back on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. When I did, I was told again that ** was not there. At that point (September 4, 2012), I called the Illinois State Attorney General’s office. They told me they would send me a form to file a complaint against the NAC Outlet, which I later received. I called NAC Outlet again on September 6, 2012, at 5:45 pm and was told that ** was at the regional headquarters of GM and having a meeting with his buddy about my problems with the 2001 Cadillac SLS that I had purchased from NAC Outlet.On September 7, 2012, ** told me to call Jennie in GM’s Customer Service at (678) 240-9885 on Friday (September 8, 2012). When I did, I spoke to Araba in Public Relations, who told me that Jennie had never worked in Customer Service, but that she was her assistant and would give the information to the Customer Care Department and I would hear from them by Monday, September 10, 2012. I received an email on September 10, 2012 from Wes, GM Southeast Customer Activities Manager, stating that unfortunately, they could not help me with this issues since the vehicle was purchased from a non-GM dealer and that GM would review my service concerns if I would provide them with the Cadillac vehicle number and a list of issues. I responded that same day and have yet to hear anything back from the GM regional headquarters in Naperville, IL.I again called ** at NAC Outlet on September 11. He said he was scheduled to have a meeting with the NAC Outlet owners at 3:00 pm on September 13, 2012, and for me to call him back at 4:45-5:00 pm that afternoon, and he would have a resolution for me, and that he did not lie! I phoned back at 5:15 pm per **’s request. ** told me that he had completely forgotten to talk to them, but that one of the NAC Outlet owners would be in at 10:00 am the next morning (September 14, 2012), and he would get him in his office as soon as he came in, and to call him at 10:15 am. I called back per **’s request at 10:15 am on September 14, 2012 and was told ** was outside and to call back in 5 minutes. I called back at 10:30 am and was told ** was in the bathroom and to give him a few minutes. I called back at 10:45 and talked with **. He said that it was a total surprise to the one owner, about my problems with the car. I asked to speak with the owner who was there. ** said he would turn the baton over to the owner and have him call me right back. After not hearing from either of them 2 hours later, I called back at 12:45 pm. **, the salesman, told me that ** and both of the NAC Outlet owners were in a meeting with both doors closed, a barrier up, the shades drawn, and had asked not to be disturbed. I called back at 2:50 pm. ** told me that ** had gone to a nearby town, an hour away, and would be back by 5:00 or 5:30 pm. I called back at 5:52 pm giving ** plenty of time to get back and was told by ** that ** had stopped for a glass of ice tea and had called him to say he would be about 25-30 minutes late. ** also told me that ** had put a note on his desk to call me as soon as he returned to the dealership. I called back at 6:46 pm and was told by the evening guy that ** had gone home for the day. He told me that there was a note on **’s desk to call me when he returned to the dealership (September 14, 2012), but ** was gone for the day, and that he had no way to get hold of **. I explained to him what had happened that day, and he told me that ** was scheduled to be in from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm the next day. I called back the next day (September 15, 2012) at 10:49 am and spoke to ** who told me that ** had not come in yet. I called back at 1:22 pm and was told by ** that **’s car was there, so he checked and said ** would call me back in 10 minutes. I called back at 1:45 pm and ** told me that ** was in his office. ** went to tell ** I was on the phone and came back and said that ** was mad and that ** said that he was trying to work the problem out with the owners. ** told me that ** had cursed him out and told him to tell me that he did not know he was on a stopwatch, and if I pushed him about this, he wasn’t going to do nothing about the car. ** then assured me that ** would call me back and ** did not call.

The leather interior has already started delaminating from the doors, the heater won’t work, the cue system has gone haywire and a multitude of other serious problems for a new car to be having. I’m disappointed that Cadillac’s quality turned out to be so shoddy. However, dealing with Cadillac as a company has been absolutely infuriating. I have been trying to get them to do the warranty repairs for over six months and they have been absolutely impossible to deal with. They do not stand behind their product. I’ve wanted a Cadillac for a long time and I was really happy the day I bought it but now that I’ve owned one and had to deal with their poor quality control and abysmal customer service I would absolutely warn anyone considering buying a Cadillac not to. Cadillac is a sexy car with some prestige associated with its brand but in reality it’s a poorly made car with one of the worst companies I’ve ever had to deal with.

Took back said something with injectors. Was not sure. I think they replaced one. Car hesitates, the RPMs rev up to 4K when Im going downhill or even going around 45 MPH. While sitting still, rpm goes from 1 to 0 constantly and the air stops cooling at same time. I have taken back so many times I have lost count. I ask before 50K warranty went out to put on diagnostic. They said nothing was wrong with it, no reason to. Still doing same thing. I have been called a liar and made fun of. When I pull up, I am treated like I am there for nothing. My car is a LEMON and I am not going to stop till something is done about it. This is the first new car I have ever bought. I thought it would be the last due to the reputation and supposed quality of a Cadillac. If I ever get out of this car, I will NEVER buy another Cadillac. I have contacted a lawyer and I do want something done. I was told that if the car computer doesnt say it happened, it didnt happen (Wow, a manmade computer). I need someone to contact me so that I can get info on who to speak with about car asap.

My mechanic said its a wiring problem because the rear defroster, rear wipers, license plate light and lift-gate light are not working. He would of fixed this but he doesnt work on very many Cadillacs. I even called Cadillac and they said it would be under powertrain warranty if it happened in 2016 or under 50,000 miles. I told them Im under 50,000 miles and I bought 9/2016. They said I would have to bite the bullet and get the electrical looked at. Customer service is below expectations even after finding out that the lift gates have been a problem for this year. Its hard to believe that so many customers have problems and nothing is resolved. The customer doesnt have a open checkbook to fix these problems that should of been a recall in the first place to correct any and all factory issues. Anyways thanks for reading.

Around 42,000 miles the CUE system stopped working on the bottom (radio) buttons. I called the local dealership and brought it in to have it looked at and they said they could not detect a problem. Around 51,000 miles the entire CUE screen stopped responding. I called the dealership again and they told me to bring the car in. I did and they told me that the whole CUE system will need to be replaced. The cost would be $1,400+ for parts and labor. Since my warranty expired at 50,000 miles they said it would not be covered under the warranty. I asked about a warranty if I were to replace the part and they told me it was 12,000 miles/12 months.I contacted Cadillac directly after speaking to the dealership to see if there was anything they could do since the problem initially started before my warranty expired, they said there was nothing else they could do and that I would have to pay to replace the CUE. I am not willing to spend $1,400+ to replace an item that Cadillac will not take responsibility for and fix. I will just have to replace the CUE system again in another 40-50,000. This is very upsetting that Cadillac was not willing to make this situation right or fix the ongoing issues with the CUE system. I am extremely disappointed in the money I spent on this car and the lack of customer service.

We were told that the damage even got to the gas line since gas was leaking and the brakes also stopped working. If the fire wouldn’t have been put out in 2-3 minutes we would’ve all exploded and many tourists (innocent bystanders) would have died. Mechanics are saying that the cause was because of FAULTY manufacturing inside of the hood.The Cadillac dealership washed their hands and don’t want to accept responsibility. NOBODY WANTS TO TOUCH THE CAR and I don’t have comprehensive insurance so they are useless. My car is considered total loss even though it wasn’t my fault, I was sold a faulty car. Cadillac of Greenwich promised to honor my warranty till 100,000 miles and it was “luxury” which was a lie, I have it all on text messages. The guy RAJ pressured me into trading my old ATS and telling me the New car was luxury and it wasn’t. I confronted him after I found out (a week of having the car) and all he said “oh sorry I thought it was luxury.” Since first day of driving off the lot, I’ve been having issues with the car, I went MORE than 5 times back to the dealership to fix many issues especially something with engine and transmission because the car was jerking. They “tried” to fix it but said that there’s nothing they could do.They were pressuring me so much to buy the car because it seems like they wanted to get rid of it. I called Cadillac customer service and they are just delaying everything. I’m hiring a lawyer and to sue them. I suffered loss and I almost died!!!! I have proof please contact me for more info. I should have taken the legacy deal being offered for my QX45 Nissan Infinity from the dealer across the street But my hubby convinced me to BUY American. One week later the hydraulic for my tailgate almost knock me unconscious. That was $150 out of pocket for it was a supposedly As is sale. Dealership had forgotten about the 10 point pre-inspection he had bragged about. They promised replacement for the scuffed wheel wells was also almost a no go. The salesman had developed an amnesia issue. That should have been an indication of future and my still on-going issues with my car. Alexander of Oxnard and GMC refusal to recognize my issues with this very expensive LEMON. Two years later my woes had begun. First, dealer’s insurance company was unable to locate my extended warranty to cover the issue. How convenient. After purchasing another 2- year of coverage, my warranty was found so now I had an overlap of 3 months, but with another contractor. Two different companies. I have lost count of the number of hours Ive spent taking in my car because of dropped phone calls, radio not working, incorrect direction by navigation system, or my car cutting off and refusing to restart. The constant failure of the navigation system which is link to the radio is usually an indication my car will fail to start in the next weeks. Now I am skittish about plugging my iPod into the car’s system. Navigation/phone systems refuse to save local addresses and phone #s. Alexander recommended replacing the navigation/radio system for a hefty $800. After much discussion it was reduced to $350. Im still refusing to pay out of pocket. Neither GM nor the dealership can explain why I should pay out of pocket for this much noted design flaw. Oh let me not forget to mention I cannot take my car through a car wash. It would be necessary to get a jump in order to leave the parking lot. I read where another SRX owner has the same issues. Now I am in the process of submitting documents to be reimbursed for towing fees, a new battery, and the initial labor cost for troubleshooting cars problem; problems stemming from design defect that GM was already aware of. I am still hoping GM will do the right thing and replace my radio and navigation system free of charge. This citizen will not ever buy GM again. Going back to Nissan.

When placed in Drive, it is not a smooth transmission but when I disengage the stop-engine feature it is a little better but not much. Ironically you have to DISENGAGE the stop engine feature on the car since the default is always ON! Ive driven GM cars, including Cadillac for 50 years and this is the most disconcerting ride of any car Ive owned. Curious if others are experiencing this same difficulty?

Leased a 2014 Cadillac in November of 2014. Had no issues with the car up until March of 2016, when use of the air conditioner resulted in a strong musty odor being blown in my face. Took the vehicle to the local Cadillac dealership, Holman Cadillac, in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, where I was told the musty odor was a result of mold development on the air conditioning evaporator. After treatment at HOLMAN Cadillac with some type of chemical they used, the vehicle was left reeking of a strong chemical odor. Holman service personnel told me the odor was not harmful, and would dissipate in a few days, but it did not. Six days later with the first use of the air conditioner I ended up at the emergency room after coughing and spitting up blood with use of the vehicle. Holman has denied that there is any chemical odor in the vehicle whatsoever, in spite of a GM inspector, an industrial hygienist, and another Cadillac service manager confirming the chemical odor. GM has refused to allow any Cadillac dealership to do warranty work on the 11,000 mile vehicle, as one can only presume they are concerned about possible litigation due to their defective vehicle.At this point, I have a vehicle with no HVAC system, and I am forced to drive in hundred plus degree weather with NO A/C, and in downpours with the windows open due to NO DEFROSTER. Nobody at HOLMAN Cadillac or at GM could care less if I live or die, as I have now been HOSPITALIZED a second time after an attempt to use the AC with the windows down as temperatures reached 95 degrees. I am now forced to go buy another vehicle just to go to work, as it is unsafe to drive the Cadillac. I hope that someone can benefit from what Im typing here as I had to type it four times.

The car had approximately 30,000 miles on it when I took it in to Myrtle Beach Chevrolet-Cadillac, in Myrtle Beach, SC, for repair. After they began the repair, they observed that I had drilled a hole in the rear of the storage compartment which is below the CUE screen & informed me that warranty would not cover the repair because I had altered the unit. They were very nice, and I am aware they have rules to go by, but this hole touched no wire or circuit board. The malfunction was not due to the hole I drilled in no way, but it was a defect in the CUE unit. There are forums all over the internet discussing the problems that Cadillac is having with the CUE system. On October 22, 2018, I contacted Cadillac Customer Service and talked to Shenevia, who set up case **. She told me she would be back in touch with me in seven days with a decision. She called back approximately ever seven days, telling me a decision had not been made, and on November 15, 2018, she called and told me that Cadillac had denied the claim. I do not agree with their decision & I do not think it was a fair & honest, because the hole I drilled had nothing to do with the malfunction of the CUE system. It is common knowledge that the CUE system has been a problem since day one! If I had drilled into a wire or circuit board, I would not be writing this letter. I could understand if Cadillac had paid for the repair, but billed me Core Charge, but I feel it is not an HONEST decision for the claim to be denied. Cadillac is using a small technicality to avoid paying for their mistakes!I have been a GM person all my life and always respected their reputation, but this case makes me wonder. I owned a Chevrolet Dealership in North Myrtle Beach, SC from 1981 until 1991 & presently own a 2017 Corvette, 2014 Cadillac CTS, and a 2016 Cadillac SRX, and I am aware that my business is like a Pea in the ocean! Sometimes COMMON SENSE should be an exception to rule! I would really appreciate you reviewing my case again.

I promptly informed Marissa that my speedometer was not working and she said to return, which I did. She left me with the impression there was no extra charge since it was not correctly repaired originally. How was this missed since it was placed on diagnostics? Nevertheless, I was charged an extra $100 in labor, inconvenienced and dissatisfied with the outcome and decided to meet with service manager, Mr. **, for a better result in regards to the labor. The only thing he could provide me was a provision for the future but nothing for now. He even informed me that the speedometer was a recall issue that I never received and he could not or would not rectify this either. I am a long time customer of this dealership and am insulted by the way I was treated.

General Motors has extremely horrible cars. Now that I am reading their reviews, I am appalled and disgusted. I have a 2006 Cadillac CTS, my car has just reached 70,000 miles and now the timing chain needs to be replaced. I admit my car has been in an accident but I spoken to many professional mechanics, even ASE certified mechanics. And they stated even with the kind of accident the car had, it would not affect the timing chain. If the timing chain is worn, it is because the manufacturer. They stated to try to see if the manufacturer will try to give you a goodwill warranty because they are noticing a big trend of Cadillac CTS coming in with timing chain issues with low mileage. I called General Motors to see if they could do anything to help, and they said they will call the Cadillac dealership in my area. After basically harassing the dealership, calling them a million times, I finally went up there. The service advisor stated that GM will not do anything because my car has a salvaged title because it has been in a car accident. Thats a dumb ** reason and a pretty bad cover up if you ask me. So they told me to repair my car would be close to $3,000... Why on earth should I or would I pay that. General Motors is getting over on their customers and stealing their money and personally, I am not going to take this from them. I will be contacting a lawyer for them to conduct an investigation with General Motors because I know there are others with this same issue. They want to get people out of thousands of dollars. If I have to continually fight with General Motors for them to get a recall, I will spend several hours a day calling, emailing, and contacting whoever it is I need to contact. If they are going to continue to put out garbage cars, then they should go bankrupt. I believe if enough people come forward with their garbage GM made cars we can file a CIVIL case, and I wont stop until something is done. Either GM make a recall for timing chains in all Cadillac CTSs ... or they can face a lawsuit and end up in bankruptcy. Either way I will not stop until something is done. I would not recommend anyone buy a Cadillac or for that matter any GM car... let them go bankrupt and out of business. Save people their money. I will be consulting a lawyer no matter what the cost. General Motors is a get rich scheme and they will be stopped. Everyone involved and that has invested in General Motors will take a loss since their customers have to.

During the last 18 months, I have had to replace all four (4) of the window regulators on my 2004 DeVille. The one on the driver’s rear was replaced on 6/17/10; that on the passenger front on 9/30/2010; the driver front window regulator was replaced on 12/31/10; and the passenger rear’s regulator was also replaced on 1/22/12. This would almost be funny if it wasnt so sad. This is fundamentally a quality issue with a supplier or a product specification issue with Cadillac. Either way, to have something like this happen to a Cadillac and 3 of the 4 within 6 months, makes me question Cadillacs commitment to overall product quality. To make matters worse, when I called Cadillac and opened a case requesting some recompense, they simply offered the canned response: “off warranty, too old and too many miles for us to be concerned with.” Well, they may have gotten the benefit of the parts sales thru the dealer (this was almost $600/regulator), but I will not buy another Cadillac. Too bad, this was my 3rd.

I told them, no you cover it, this has nothing to do with wear and tear. Not only that but 6 forums have said this is a problem around 80,000-85,000 miles, guess who has 81,000 me! The dealer is telling me to fight and not stop because they feel the same way I do! Corporate will not budge. I spoke to a lawyer who informed me since they are aware of the problem and refuse to warranty the sensor if I get into an accident I can sue the hell out them! Im 3 steps away from calling channel 7 news and channel 11... Its time Cadillac corporate gets put on blast! I have no problems showing receipts to show what kind of car I got stuck with! One more thing Cadi converter and power train and alternator was replaced also under warranty... This is by far the worst car anyone could own!!!!!!
