2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain Wagon

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain Wagon blends luxury, practicality, and light off-road capability into one refined package. Based on the new-generation E-Class, the All-Terrain version adds SUV-inspired versatility while retaining the comfort and elegance expected from a Mercedes-Benz. It’s designed for buyers who want more space than a sedan, a more stylish alternative to a traditional SUV, and the ability to handle varied road conditions.

The exterior design sets it apart from the standard E-Class Wagon. Rugged styling elements such as black wheel arch cladding, a unique grille treatment, and front and rear skid-plate accents give it a tougher look. Standard 18- or 19-inch wheels are available, with larger options offered on higher trims. A raised ride height enhances ground clearance, making the All-Terrain more capable on dirt roads, snowy terrain, or uneven surfaces. The wagon’s long roofline and roof rails add both practicality and a sporty, elongated profile.

Under the hood, the 2025 E-Class All-Terrain is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with mild-hybrid technology. This setup delivers around 375 horsepower and smooth, effortless performance, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Mercedes’ 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system comes standard, ensuring traction in poor weather or light off-road situations. The mild-hybrid system improves efficiency and responsiveness, adding brief boosts of torque during acceleration while supporting fuel economy in everyday driving.

Inside, the All-Terrain mirrors the advanced digital interior of the standard E-Class. The cabin is centered around the MBUX infotainment system, presented on a large central touchscreen with voice command capability and customizable displays. A digital instrument cluster is standard, and buyers can add an optional passenger-side display for an expanded “Superscreen” effect. Wireless smartphone integration, over-the-air updates, and AI-powered personalization features are all included.

Luxury appointments are plentiful. The All-Terrain offers high-quality materials like leather, wood, and metal trim, while ambient lighting adds a modern, customizable atmosphere. The seating is spacious and supportive, with available heating, ventilation, and massage functions in the front. Rear passengers benefit from generous legroom, while the wagon layout provides a large and flexible cargo area. A split-folding rear seatback expands storage for bulky items, making the All-Terrain one of the most practical vehicles in Mercedes’ lineup.

On the road, the 2025 All-Terrain balances comfort and capability. Standard adaptive air suspension automatically adjusts to different driving conditions, raising the vehicle for off-road or rough terrain and lowering it at highway speeds for better aerodynamics. This system ensures a smooth ride whether cruising on pavement or tackling unpaved roads. Multiple driving modes let the driver fine-tune performance, with settings for comfort, sport, off-road, and more.

Safety and driver assistance systems are extensive. Standard features include automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keeping assist, while available packages add adaptive cruise control, active lane changing, and advanced parking assistance. These tools make the All-Terrain as advanced in safety as it is in comfort.

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain Wagon stands out as a premium alternative to SUVs, offering similar utility and light off-road ability while retaining the driving refinement of a luxury car. It’s ideal for buyers who need space, versatility, and all-weather confidence but prefer the elegance and handling of a wagon over the bulk of a crossover. With its mix of power, luxury, and practicality, the All-Terrain continues to be a unique offering in the Mercedes lineup.

After purchasing brand new 2016 c300, I had two major problems to my car. After a year, on highway speeds after applying breaks the car started shaking really bad. I took the car to my local dealer from where I bought the car. They said the brake pads need to be replaced. Second time, fuel smell started coming inside the vehicle while driving or when it’s parked in my garage. This time, the fuel pipe was leaking. Both the repairs were done properly by my dealer and I was charged $0 since the vehicle is still under warranty. I also got loaner car for the time my car was at the dealer. Very happy with the service provided by dealer and Mercedes!!

Our 2005 ML350 spontaneously caught fire recently and was completely destroyed. It was recently serviced and our insurance has opened a cause and effect investigation to rule out any service related fire. Thankfully no one was hurt, and no other cars or structures were damaged by the fire. We are stunned and angered. Hopefully they will find out the cause.

A few days ago my 5 year old daughter spilled a 1/3 full kids water bottle on the floorboard of the right rear seat. The water bottle holds 12 ounces so I estimate this was 4 ounces of water. 30 minutes later the car started smoking inside then the dashboard display went blank. We took the car to Fletcher Jones Mercedes Benz and today received the news from their service department that the Control Unit had shorted out from what appeared to be a clear liquid, leaving us to assume it was caused by the 4 ounces of water. The Control Unit is located directly under the front passenger seat. It is only separated by the carpet. Of course, they said this is not covered under warranty and the cost to replace this unit is almost $8,000.Why would Mercedes place a computer for the car under the passenger seat without at least making it a little water resistant? In rainy days people are constantly getting in the car with wet feet. When you have kids its not uncommon for things to get spilled on the floor. For such a thing to cause the brains of the car to malfunction is simply poor design. It makes me question other design components from this manufacturer. Not well thought out!

I would not drive or buy a new Mercedes ever again. There isnt enough time in the day to be in and out of the Mercedes repair shop. We just bought another Lexus and at this time selling our disappointing Gl350. After our 6 Mercedes the GL350 was the worst new suv ever. I have been in and out of the dealership 3 times this month, from oil leaks to the air suspension breaking and not being fixed properly. Mercedes would have to pay me to drive these cars. We just bought a Lexus RX last year, and LX to replace the GL. I figured out how good the Lexus was when I was in my Toyota Tundra towing 8000 lbs with 190k on the odometer, I beat it up all day long and it keeps taking any abuse I give it.This past summer at my farm it was 102 outside. I would leave the Tundra running because I don’t care. 40 min later I come back to a cool Tundra after doing some work on the farm. Getting in the cool Tundra with a duel axel trailer loaded to a max, I hit the road again. The Toyota/Lexus do everything the Mercedes cant! They keep me on the road. Toyota is Lexus and if the RX and LX are half as good as the tundra I will be satisfied and go back again. On the front end you may think you have a great car, but once you are out of the warranty Mercedes has you where they want you. The 80k I spent on my Gl is not a waste if I can help 10 people a year to not make the mistake I made. The Mercedes is a good car if you have more money than common sense and you have time to break down and spend your afternoon in the repair shop. Email me and Ill show you a stack of tow and breakdown paperwork on a car that should have never been able to be put on the road.

I leased a Mercedes ML350 in 2012. We loved it, so we purchased the 2012 (husband drives it) and ordered a 2014 ML for me. From day one we have had so many electrical weird glitches on the 2014. It has an automatic lift gate that worked when it felt like it for almost two years. I took the car into the dealership constantly and of course they said all was fine and they could not find the problem. Particularly helpful is for the lift gate to not go up when you have your arms full of groceries. Finally, one day (2 years later), the lift gate got stuck halfway open. Went to the dealership and this time they said that the motor was defective. Really??? The lift gate door still doesnt always release and open but at least it works 90% of the time. The automatic unlock on the 4 doors also worked intermittently since the day I picked the car up. I brought the car in countless times for all these issues. Finally they did something to the doors and it is better now. I would say it works 80 to 85% of the time. And, I am pretty excited about that! I still have to dig my keys out of my purse which again is generally when I have packages in my arms or late at night in a parking lot. As I write this I realize that these are first world problems but when you pay upwards of $65,000 for a car, you expect the quality to be there and your features that you have excessively paid for, to work. My favorite thing about the car is... it has a forward collision warning system that senses a car in front of you has slowed down or stopped and if you do not slow down it gives a very loud beep, beep, and a flashing warning on the instrument panel. The first time this engaged was on a country road where I was the only person on the road going about 50 MPH. No one in front of me for miles and then the load beep, beep and flashing red triangle appeared. It scared me to death!Mostly it engages when no one is around. Randomly, loudly and making me jump out of my seat. One time that feature actually engaged when it was appropriate. Today I was driving home and the traffic came to a complete stop and I was slow to notice it. But of course, neither did my car. I slammed on my brakes and all was well. I have taken the car in to see if they could fix this problem and of course they NEVER find the problem. I have cup cooling and heating (yes, first world problems) but that doesnt work either because the fuse that runs that and the cigarette lighter blow constantly whether I use the items or not. Well, I dont smoke but it would be nice to use my phone charger. In the two and 1/2 years I have owned the car I managed to coordinate once having a hot beverage that I wanted to stay hot whilst driving and the heating cup holder actually working. Finally at the dealership they gave me a bag of fuses so I could change them myself. NICE!!! How about we fix the the problem!!! My complaints have fallen on deaf ears. There is a lot of talk at the dealership about taking care of the problems but they never do. I am now convinced that when I service my car they take it back to the bay and park it and dont really try to do anything to it. Mostly I am so extremely disappointed in the Mercedes product. Shortly after we purchased our leased 2 year old 2012 ML with 38,000 miles on it, the drivers seat MB-Tex wore out and started tearing. We had a ten year old Mercedes with the MB TEX that had over 120000 miles on it and the interior was pristine! We had another ML AMG that had 168000 on it and that leather interior was perfect. I think the product has seriously deteriorated. I dont think my leather in my 2014 will make it to lease end date. The service department at our local MB dealership is deplorable. Our family has owned 5 Mercedes but this is my very last one. I fear that our 2012 wont make the 50000 mile mark. I CANT WAIT TO GET RID OF THIS CAR! I strongly suggest you buy ANY brand but MB.

I took my Mercedes Benz two weeks ago for service. The vehicle while idling accelerates on it own. Another issue when I press on the brake, squeaky sounds manifest. The button that ascends the rear shades doesnt work. As of today, Mercedes in White Plains has not called me to let me know whats wrong with my car. It appears Mercedes Benz reputation for good customer service is truly in decline. The staff has been nothing but unresponsive and inattentive to customers needs. Jeremy was the intake service person.

First experience with Mercedes Roadside this week for a simple dead battery
First experience with Mercedes Roadside this week for a simple dead battery switch out was a cluster Got me hooked up with a 3rd party in Texas (Im in Florida). Took 4 MB customer care agents to finally arrange for the local dealer to bring one 4 hours later. Unrelated, just called customer service for recommended tire options for my S550 as the Pirellis they put on lasted 10,000 miles. Took 10 minutes to get a connection to a ringing phone that nobody ever picked up. Should have stuck with Audi. Not impressed at all!!

Ive had my 2011 e550 (bought brand new) at the dealer service four times in the last 3 months for squeaking breaks. He informed me that it was due to my driving style and that no other e550s have had this problem and Id just have to live with it. Then in the next breath he told me that the brake assembly was too big for the car (manufacturing problem). They had it in the shop, put something on the breaks and then we went for a test drive later that day while he was in town. No squeak. Amazing, but not at all surprising. Later that day and seven miles of driving the whining started; then the shrill squeaking was right back. I love this car but Im going to have to get rid of it because they will not work with me at all. Im very disappointed by the quality and by the service after the fact. They made an offer to put new brake pads and rotors on it, again. Three sets of brakes within 15,000 miles - no thanks.

I am so incredibly happy that I have chosen to purchase a Mercedes. I was on the fence a long time about it. My overall experience was pleasant. Im so thankful to have a car that I can trust to get me from point A to B. Its so reliable. I love all of its features. It has leather heated seats, great sound system, fancy sunroof for stargazing without being exposed to mosquitoes. I also trust the safety features it has. The rear wheel drive is the only thing I dont like about it, it is very difficult to drive on snowy conditions with rear wheel drive. If you are expecting to get up a snowy, icy hill, you better get a running start and hope its good enough.

I have owned Mercedes Benz vehicles for over the past 10 years getting a new vehicle every 2-3 years. I have never had a need for warranty repair until now. What a complete failure! My 2013 S-Class left my wife and kids roadside nearly 2 weeks ago. Towed to the local dealer, 24hrs later I told that my 1 year old under warranty S-Class will not be covered and the repair will be $31,000+ due to lack of oil change. That is simply not true other than I did not have the oil changed by MB! I contacted corporate MB to dispute the dealer’s statement that the repair will not be covered under warranty. I was told someone would call me back within 24 hours. The following day I heard from someone who captured the information and told me she would handle it and I would hear from her soon. That was 10 days ago. No return phone calls! I called this corporate contact 4 days ago for an update and she informed me she has no update for me and would call me back. No return phone call! It has been 12 days, we are without our S-Class, and I have been renting a car myself while waiting on MB. I am disgusted by the poor service provided by Mercedes Benz! This is supposed to be a luxury brand that you pay a premium price and have an expectation of better than average service. That could not be any further than what my experience is. This is the first time I have ever needed warranty of a Mercedes Benz and this is a complete and utter failure! It has come to an attempt using social media to reach someone at MB that cares to service the issue since the normal channels have yielded me no results, not even a return phone call.

I have been very impressed by its brand name because it has many features that make it unique and have unique features that make it a leader. And the most beautiful is that it is a famous brand and loved by many people. What makes me choose his/her brand among others is its many advantages including speed, internal features, ease of use, and abundance of refrigeration, making it easy, and available. What I do not like about the Taraz and often bothers me is the lack of the characteristics of the symmetry of the flash and the frequency of the circulation of many people and more than the same quantity of its price in the market.

2012 SLK 350. MBUSA, I do not agree with your companys position. To date, we had the roof trim replaced, the roof trim brackets broken (in shop for repairs), the door panels replaced, the roof cover replaced, and we are waiting for the glove box door (the material on existing one is delaminating). In addition, there are paint flaws caused by poor handling (according to MBUSA). And, after all this, I do not hear any embarrassment or indication of compensations for my troubles from MBUSA or Daimler. I am starting to believe this is standard quality for Mercedes Benz.I agree, having an MB approved body shop do anything to the paint could reduce the cars value (if the value is not already compromised due the number and type repairs already accomplished). At this point, I feel I have the following options: 1) We can file a Lemon Law Claim or other legal claim. This option is not optimum for anyone and my wife will not let me. 2) We keep the car; but given the current position of MBUSA, it is very unlikely I will ever have anything good to say about Mercedes Benz. And my family will never buy another MB product and I will do my best to dissuade my friends, co-workers, people I meet, from buying a Mercedes Benz car. 3) We can trade/sell it and buy some other companys car. I have two very good vehicles from Toyota and BMW. Unfortunately, I fear the trade-in value of this car may be very inconsistent with the possibly overstated quality of MB. 4) We can come to an agreement about compensation/price adjustment. My wife likes the car and we would consider buying another Mercedes Benz in a few years.Honestly, I prefer option 4. You have my money and you can maintain your position, but ask yourselves what if? What if, given all the defects we forced on this consumer, we agreed to compensation of a few thousand dollars for the actual depreciated value to save ourselves more than $30K, $40K, $50K (times friends and family) in future sales. I appreciate your further consideration.

Ive owned 5 Mercedes over my car buying experience and I can tell you I will never buy another one. I have a ML 350 BlueTEC (diesel) that has known problems with the vehicle. I just found out on the oil leaking near the rear main seal. I called Mercedes to ask why in the world would a car with 57k miles have a problem like this when Mercedes brags about how great an engineered car they make. I have spent over a week on the problem the dealer fixed the supposed problem to break another problem. Now they want me to pay for what they broke. CROOKS WOULD BE THE WORD I WOULD USE. Ive had several Lexus and no problems. Mercedes does not stand by their name and overcharges for everything. The customer service people just lie to you, point blank. DONT BUY A MERCEDES, BUY A LEXUS. CROOK, CROOKS, AND CROOKS.

We purchased this beautiful black SUV in December of 2011, over a year ago as of today. I debated between an Acura vs. a Mercedes. I have owned an Acura in the past and was pleasantly surprised by Acuras outstanding customer service. However, I chose Mercedes, assuming they too would have impeccable service. This assumption was far from the truth. The Mercedes did not come with running boards and since I am short and we live in rainy Oregon, its essential to have running boards and mud flaps. We didnt want to have mud flaps put on until we received the running boards as the two really need to be installed at the same time. We have now been waiting over one year for the running boards. I have called Mercedes directly and been told we have been put on the preferred list but they did not have an ETA of when I would actually get them.To make matters worse, I purchased rubber floor mats and received a recall notice for the drivers side, took the mat in and was told they had to actually take the current mat, mail it to Mercedes and wait for Mercedes to mail the new one back. Again I am told, no ETA, and off the cuff, good luck with that...

The turbo of my B Class has failed for the second time in just more than a year. The clock is on 62,000 km. Both times, Mercedes has towed the car in but didnt even ask if I need a courtesy car. I have to travel 40 km to work and back. I had to collect my car myself in Pretoria, 100 km from where I stay. Mercedes gave me a reason why the turbo failed each time and each time their comment was that it never happened before with a B class. If that is the true, it means my car is a defected car and actually should be replaced. They only give the reasons and stopped at that. Im not satisfied with just an answer from a company that is supposed to be one of the finest in the motor business. My husband bought me a Mercedes because its one of the best, but my trust in my vehicle on the road is ruined and I am scared for the next time the turbo fails, the car lost power and had a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust. Fortunately, I was near the school where Im teaching and could reach my destination. What if my car lets me down on a deserted road and Im alone? I really want somebody to give me more than an excuse and with a practical solution to my problem.

I bought my car E350 4matic 2012 last year around April and a few weeks ago
I bought my car E350 4matic 2012 last year around April and a few weeks ago, my car started making a tapping noise. I took my car to the closest MB dealer and after a day or two, they finally found that the car had a wrong size wrist pin in the piston. They offered to change the 6 pistons and the connecting rods all together. I have friends who build engines and flip cars from scratch, so I ran the issue by them. I even had one of my friends to talk to the technician adviser and pinpointing the real issue. At first the dealer was telling me that there is an oil lash in the pistons. After my friends talked to them and corrected them that there is no oil lash in the pistons and the tapping noise can only come if the wrist pins are not the correct size. Since the car came with defective parts and they changed almost the engine, I believe the value of my car has diminished and the MBUSA should compensate me at least by extending the warranty. After several phone calls and emails, someone in the name of Joe called me from the MBUSA and told me that he will talk to the dealer and the service adviser; and he will get back to me. So I got a call yesterday and result was/is disappointing. He told me that MBUSA did not grant any extended warranty and that is why the original warranty is there for. My next step is to file a complaint to Virginia Department of Consumer Affairs and Better Business Bureau Virginia. Did anyone else have any issue similar to mine on their E350? I am certain my next car is not going to be a Mercedes Benz. What would you guys do if you were me? Thanks for your inputs in advance.

They would not warranty the engine even though records were provided. Left me without a car and expected me to pay for it out of pockets over $8000. This experience is from Finland. Last year, we purchased a new MB180B and the next day we got the car, I had to get it back to the dealer. I had problems starting the car, and when I finally got it going, it was twitching forcefully. When the engine became warmer, the problem was gone. At the workshop, they started to study the car, but nothing was wrong according to the car computer. But the guy from the workshop said that he thinks there are problems with a component called crankshaft sensor. So, he ordered a replacement component, but then things started to be really strange. The factory said that they will not deliver that component, and I asked why. They told me that this particular component is on the do not deliver list. Finally, they told us that there will be a new different component as a replacement.Well at this point, I made a claim against this and the reason is that a manufacturer is not allowed to deliver cars or any constructions if they know that there is a failed component in it. Or at least they are supposed to inform the customer of this possible problem and then he can decide what to do with it. Anyway, after a few days, I got the car back and now everything is okay, and so on. It wasnt. The same problem came back. The car was back in the work shop, and this has gone now several times. At the moment the car is at the work shop. I already told them earlier that they should get me a new car to replace this one or give me my money back. They told me that is totally an unreasonable claim. A new car which doesnt work, is it so unreasonable to expect that new cars should be okay? Also, during this experience, it has been really hard to get in contact with anyone. The dealer is totally worthless. The car importer is really hard to deal with and the manufacturer in Germany doesnt answer in any messages. The first one I sent half a year ago. Now, I have a lawyer to take care this, and I also took contact with LRQA (Lloyds) who have certified their ISO9001 based management system.Of course, I am angry about the car itself, but also because of this habit of delivering cars included with components that they have themselves declared on not-to-deliver. I was told by them that it is totally normal to replace these kinds of components during a normal service. Actually it is not. It is a hidden/silent recall, and that is against the law and against the ethics as well. We will see what happens. But I would like to give a warning for all possible car buyers of this kind of actions from Mercedes-Benz.

My car was towed to Mercedes Benz of Fort Lauderdale Collision center for inspection on 10/24/15 and was quoted approximately 3 weeks to repair the damage. 3 weeks seemed a little lengthy but reasonable to repair the damage, especially for the hefty price tag I am paying Mercedes for their ELITE service.I figured there wasnt anything I can do but to wait the 3 weeks. I called them BACK AFTER ALMOST 4 WEEKS PAST to follow up and the person I spoke with chuckled and told me it would take another 2 weeks because he said it was a lot of work and take time. He made it seem like it was such a daunting task that was going to be almost impossible to get done. Honestly, isnt their job to repair cars all day, specifically Mercedes Benz? A full month had past already and it appeared that it was JUST SITTING THERE waiting for parts to come in, insurance BS, etc. (I cant remember all the excuses they gave me). I am beyond frustrated at this point because I am paying $1800/mo for my car to sit there at Mercedes while everyone seems to just drag their feet as well as pay for a rental car for almost 3 months. Every 2 weeks I get a call with the same BS, it is going to be another 2 weeks. It has now been 2.5 months and my car is still not done. The 2nd to last time they called they even insulted me with hopefully by next year. Of course I wasnt too happy and had no choice but to wait for their lazy employees to take their precious time. A couple weeks went by and the same guy called with the same story, they needed another 2 weeks to complete my car! Where is the luxury service that I was promised by Mercedes? Am I missing something here?Fast forward - It is now Jan 8, 2016 and my car has yet to be completed. I have now paid Mercedes Benz 3 hefty payments without being able to drive my car. What aggravates me the most about this whole experience is I would assume when you buy a $110K+ luxury vehicle that you would receive the ELITE service that is promised to you when you are buying it. Since it is already sold the service received has been nothing but a joke. I feel it is my duty as a member of my community to issue this public service announcement to let everyone know that Mercedes Benz does not stand by their quality of service as they advertise. The hefty price tag you pay for their vehicles is definitely not worth the price and level of service youre given. Save yourself headache and time and opt for better luxury cars out there.

This is my first time owning a Mercedes and I must say, it has been thoroughly disappointing!! Heres my issues with the Manufacturer and the Car: This is a plug-in hybrid so I expect it to charge at any Charge Point locations available. My C350e DOES NOT charge at my work location - I have 8 Charge Point stations here, none of them work for my car!! The charging stations work for 15+ different models though with no issues - Nissan Leaf, Chevy Bolt, Volt, Prius, Ford, BMW i3, i8... The list goes on. But my Mercedes WOULD NOT charge here. And when I call Mercedes Customer Service they told me as long as it charges at home thats all they care about. The Charge Point stations is not their concern. I used to own a VW eGolf and I charged it at work for last 3 years without any issues. My primary reason for choosing the Mercedes C350e model was to receive the HOV lane sticker for it, Mercedes Pleasanton dealer told me they take care of DMV forms for it - this was great to hear. Exactly 2 months after the purchase of my car, I heard back from DMV that Mercedes has sent outdated form for the HOV lane sticker. Now I have lost 2 months time due to inefficient people working at the dealership!! The clock starts again now! Mercedes has an App for iPhone which can help with many functionalities of the car - called Mbrace. I wasnt able to link my car to my account for several days. Mercedes and Mbrace customer service kept blaming each other for the issues with the App - finally it got resolved when I had to take them on a conference call.In general I have noticed that Mercedes has silos within their customer service department - instead of providing solutions to customers they provide the GO-TO info and their phone numbers to me. This is very frustrating and I did not experience it with my other cars - VW, BMW, Toyota, Honda etc. Overall its my first time owning a Mercedes and so far I am yet to receive 1 satisfying answer from their customer service department. I wish there was a way to return this car!! Do I have any options?

40,840 Mile service on 2012 E-350. We had our 7 year (70,000 Mi.) service but only 40,840 miles on vehicle completed at Mercedes of Hilton Head which cost $785.46. All prior services, from our purchase in 2012 with 12,000 miles, completed at Mercedes of Hilton Head. They discounted this to $657.37 after I raised heck for billing me $6 for washer fluid I had just filled. The year before the annual service was $902.90. Then I got the breakdown on additional recommendations as follows 1) Replace Transmission mount found collapsed $254.09, 2) Repack and adjust front wheel bearings $518.97, 3) Reseal Left Front Cylinder Head Cover $278.27, 4) Reseal Both Left Side Cam Magnets $291.28, 5) Reseal Right Front Cylinder Head Cover $293.18, 6) Reseal Both Cam Magnets on Right Cylinder Head $395.58 For a total of $2031.37.The last year we put on 4,000 miles with no mention of any of these issues in prior years. While I understand somewhat (again usually 100,000 miles) the repacking needs, the other two items were completely a failure of the vehicle to perform properly and unusual failure (I would hope) of things that I have had cars with over 150,000 miles without issues. I called Corporate, after the dealer gave no assistance, as I thought those repairs should be covered with such low mileage and care given to the car throughout its life. They offered $600 off if all service was completed at the dealership. Ive had a Buick that was 2 years out of warranty with 42,000 miles engine replacement all the way to the torque converter because of the engine failure and cost me $100.00. I always thought Mercedes was a quality vehicle, and I was sadly mistaken. Do NOT Buy Mercedes.

I bought a 2003 Mercedes E500 in early 2015. Thought I was getting a good deal on a used luxury car with less than a 100k miles. In less than a year I have spent a little over 3 thousand dollars in repairs. And that is going somewhere other than the actual dealership which would of cost me 3X as much! One of the main reasons I bought a Mercedes was because I thought they were supposed to be reliable cars. The only thing I have been able to rely on is that I will be in the shop every other month. On a positive note I took it in to the dealership for a fuel system problem that Mercedes were covering under an extended warranty and the service was great. They treated me very well, fed me and made me comfortable. And the car is a dream to drive when its working but I have a problem with the esp and some brake sensor now that is gonna cost me 2 grand bringing up the cost of repairs to near what I paid for the car in the first place in less than a year. There is no reason for anyone to buy a used Mercedes. The only people who can afford the repair costs of a Mercedes are the people who can afford a new Mercedes and if you can afford the repairs on a used Mercedes you should just buy a new Mercedes. Used Mercedes should just go straight to the junkyard so poor people like me dont get tricked into buying these money pits.

I have a 2013 e350 convertible with approximately 8000 miles. I have had a problem with the windows on both sides. When I close the windows, they do not stay closed. They drop down about 2 inches and cannot be closed. This causes rain to seep into the car and cause damage. I have brought the car to Mercedes dealers on 5 separate occasions and they were unable to solve the problem. They have now told me that they are working on a fix in Germany and can give me no timetable as to when it will be ready. They have refused to replace the car. They told me I should use a manual override to keep the windows closed. I feel taken advantage of and am pursuing recourse through the Florida lemon law. I would like to hear from others who have had this problem. Thank you.

I own a Mercedes B150 that has many problems. It run 77000 kilometers. When it reached 60,000 kilometers, we changed the left coupling and now we have to change the right one. The fatal problem now is the vitesse which requires the electro hydraulic control unit to be replaced after the car made 75,000 kilometers. From what I know this is an electronic piece in the vitesse, so its incomprehensible that it requires to be changed after 75,000 kilometers only. From what we knew, this is a general defect in the car that must be changed despite its high cost (14000egp). As a result of all the above, we demand that you change the spare part on the companys account because in other cars like the Renault the vitesse has a guarantee until 100,000 kilometers. I dont understand how in Mercedes, which is a high class category, it doesnt cover an equivalent guarantee. Please, consider all this in our complaint. I will wait for your reply, and my best regards to you all.

I bought a 2007 Mercedes CLK on 1/12/2012, a Saturday. I was told by the dealer that I could not take it home because the check engine light was on and they had to fix it before I received the car, a smog issue with California. You cannot sell a car in California without it going through a smog check. Seeing the light was on, it would not pass smog during a visual inspection. I was to receive the car the following Wednesday, 100 miles away, and they were going to deliver the car to me after they had fixed the problem. More than likely, they were waiting for my cashiers check to clear. I have receipts on all of this, stating they will deliver it to me at a later date and when they would deliver it. The day I received the car, the check engine light was still on and they, the dealer, instructed me to go to Mercedes and get the code cleared because they had put an O2 sensor on it. That was the reason why I did not get the car the day of the signing of the papers. Well, I took the car in to remove the code, but there were 5 codes on it, none of which were related to the O2 sensor! Here are just a couple of codes showing: random misfire po300, and po303, misfire no. 3 cyl and there is more relating to the cam. Now Im looking at thousands of dollars to fix this but they, the dealer, covered their butt by having me sign everything from as is to no attorney if I were to sue them. I want to see all receipts made on this car and see if anything was fixed on it as promised, and the name of the smog company that smogged this car. Im going to file a complaint with the Air Resources Board (ARB). I just want everything fixed with the check engine light off.

I visited the Dealership in Tampa Bay, Florida Mercedes Benz of Tampa Bay to get a diagnostic service since the car was signaling a malfunctioning alternator. I had to pay the diagnostics fee even though I still left without them telling if the alternator was the matter or not because the sales agents asked for me to buy a set of batteries for them to be able to check if the alternator was malfunctioning. The dealer fee was 149 dollars and they gave me a discount so I had to pay for approximately 120 dollars anyways. I find it very hard to believe that a dealership cannot check on the alternator by using one of their batteries if mine were not good enough for the job, which actually I have not had any issues with. I was very displeased with this treatment. I will not recommend this dealer to anyone.

The bumper of my new 2017 E Class fell off after barely touching a parking bumper like you find in many parking lots. The bumper does not even have a scratch on it. The dealer says that this is common and they fall off all the time!!? Mercedes Corporate will only definitely understand how I feel. How can a force small enough to not even scratch the paint on a bumper make the bumper fall off?! To add insult to injury, the bumper is not in stock, and I will have to wait a few weeks to get the car repaired. Definitely my last Mercedes. $2600 to repair, and no end in sight.

I purchased an E class in 2008, and got the hard sell about the extended limited warranty from the salesman, so I purchased it for more than $3,500, believing what the finance manager told me that it would be refundable, if the vehicle was sold or traded in before the extended limited warranty went into effect. In December 2010, my husband decided to trade in the vehicle, because an illness prevented me from driving it, and I requested a refund of the warranty as the vehicles factory warranty would not expire until April 2012. The dealer referred me to Mercedes Benz USA and they told me that the warranty was not refundable, as the warranty only allowed me to cancel 60 days after I bought the brand new car with a 4 year factory warranty. I kept telling them that this did not make sense and the 60 day rule for the refund would logically begin 60 days after the extended warranty went into effect. Mercedes corporate absolutely refused to budge from their position, and have pocketed my $3,500, without doing anything for my money. I have been a loyal MB customer for 20 years, and have purchased 5 vehicles in that time frame, and I find it unacceptable that the big international Mercedes corporation found it necessary to keep my money.

I bought my SLK 250 from an Acura dealership with 16k miles on it. I put less than 10k miles on the car before the retractable roof began to leak, out of the blue. Water was pouring into the car. Long story short, Mercedes told me the entire roof has to be replace and it will not look like my current hardtop. It will be all glass. The entire look of the car will be different. They have had my car for three weeks and the total bill is nearing 7k. To make matters worse, they reported my mileage as 36,XX* when it was truly 26,XX*. They promised a correction but a month later, it isnt corrected. So I cannot even sell the car because now the odometer does not match the Carfax. I have a 2004 E320. It has what appears to be a cracked left side fuel sender. Or so it seems!? This is a common problem on E class models - as Im more than sure you know. Campaign 2008-020001 covers this exact problem on 211 models 2003-2006, which my car is. However, when my VIN was run at the dealer, it is supposedly not covered!? The service manager tells me it’s ridiculous, that it’s again more than obvious it’s the same problem or defect. Yet not covered. He suggested I call Mercedes and after an “investigation”, I was told nothing would be covered!? An investigation that included or predominately was decided over, the fact that I have stopped regularly servicing my car at the dealer! My car looks and runs like new other than this problem. In fact I researched it and found the recall because I wanted it perfect as to trade in or sell and replace it! So Mercedes wont cover a problem that has 1,000s of complaints pending with the NHTSA. I cannot fill my gas tank because if I do, the backseat (driver’s side) fills with fumes and my children complain. I pulled the backseat in the service area parking lot, and we opened the hatch and saw the gas sitting in the sender (see attached pic). It was like we were looking at the pictures attached to the campaign!!! Yet not covered!?I have owned 3 Mercedes Benz in my lifetime. I can honestly say that I firmly believe they are the best constructed, most reliable, and sharpest looking cars on the road. I have spent years telling everyone I know, anyone that would listen, that once you own a Mercedes Benz, you cant own any other car. And I routinely argue with my BMW loving best friend (a luxury car dealer) over which is the better vehicle. My car has reached 125k. Its time for a new Mercedes. If any part of you believes I will ever buy another Mercedes when the company will not in good faith fix my vehicle that is so obviously having a problem that is manufacturing defect, then you are out of your mind!Im no idiot. I realize if you have even bothered to read this far into the letter, the company could probably care less about one consumer. But you will have lost a truly faithful customer who wouldve never bought another brand. And whom will exhaust my fingers and wear out my iPad on every blog, website, complaint site, NHTSA hotline, and anywhere else I can to be sure that I will deter as many people as I can from ever buying a Mercedes because a multibillion dollar company didnt stand by their product, and fix a maybe $1,500 problem. If you took the time to read this and take the time to compare my symptoms and pics to that of the campaign (and Im sure millions of complaints), then anyone with any power and want to do the right thing will help me and keep me on team Mercedes!

It has been a very reliable auto. I have always like this model. Its a sedan and I love sedans. I bought it used at a good price. It drives very smooth and has good gas mileage. It is roomy too. The controls are easy to use as well. I like the color and the low maintenance needed for the car. Very dependable, great for road trips. A friend hit a deer. The damage was severe and it kept on running. The only downfall to this car is the cost of parts and maintenance. The repair always recommend only using Mercedes parts from the manufacturer and there is a great difference in cost compared to some of other vehicles. Finding used parts is hard and cost more. I made an appointment for 7:30 to have my 300C Mercedez Benz serviced on 9/20/11. I arrived at 6:30 that morning, being the first car to arrive. They took my car in between 7:15 to 7:30. I spoke with sales representative Mari **, and once we were done, I asked if there was a loner available. She said there wasnt any until two weeks. That was an inconvenience because I needed to get to work. She then arranged for me to be dropped off. While in the waiting area (first one), other customers began to arrive, dropped their cars, and left with loners. When I was finally called to be driven to work, I walked outside and there was a loner. It doesnt end there. I was told that I would be picked up. At no time during the day, Mari gave me a courtesy call in regards to the status of my car. At the end of my work day, which ends at three oclock, I wasnt picked up or contacted. At which time, I had to take a taxi to the dealer in Larchmont, NY that cost me 50$. Upon my arrival at 4 p.m., Mari says to me, Oh, your back. I stated, Yes, you told me I was going to be picked up. Why wasnt I contacted? After that being said, she stated that the car was not serviced as yet and that they were backed up. The waiting area was completely empty .No Customers. At this time, Ii was livid and none could give me any answers. Mari kept apologizing, then she said to me, Let me check at the back to see whats going on. She returned a few minutes later and said that they are getting started right now. I immediately told her to have my car brought around and that I will take it to White Plains Dealership. I was totally displeased with the service and disappointed with the way I was treated. I feel that Larchmont Mercedes Benz dealers are racist. I have purchased about less than a year ago an E350 MB car, brand new from the local dealer in Windsor ON. I started to have water condensation in the right side head lamp. I took the car for its yearly service and advised the dealership of this problem. I showed them the water inside the lamp. There is no damage to the cover, which indicates clearly a break in the seal. Initially I received a response that this problem is not covered by the warranty as it is considered a wear and tear (after less than a year in a part that is not involved in any mechanical movement), then I was told that the problem is so small, it doesnt warrant repair!! Then I was asked to take photos and send them to the dealership and they will send them to MB Canada to convince them that the problem exist!! I found all these excuses outrageous. I am very dissatisfied. After all I am supposedly buying a luxury car, to have such a problem is not acceptable let alone being denied the repair and given lousy excuses.

Our first Sprinter 2500 full size was a 2012 from Ray Catena in Union that was back for repairs 4-6 times prior to having 20,000 miles for problems with the DEF fuel additive shutting down the engine and leaving me stranded and towed at one time. Please lets not talk about the service department, unbelievable! Terrible! They offered to change my oil and do a Mandatory transmission flush otherwise it would void my warranty totaling out to $500.00 for both and then tried to hand me a bill for almost $900.00 and told me that the oil filter is a lambswool oil filter. When I went to my local oil change business in Eatontown, I requested the lambswool oil filter and they wanted to know why I would want that when a Mobil 1 filter came out from the last oil change at Mercedes Benz in Union, NJ. We made the mistake of buying another one a 2016 2500 Sprinter full size from Contemporary Mercedes Benz. This one had the alignment knocked out at 15000 miles and chipped up the tires to where there was patches of rubber missing and I was told that they could do a complimentary alignment but I was stuck with the tires that still shake the steering wheel. The air conditioner has not worked since we bought the truck and we have been being told that there is a fix coming any month now, since October of 2017. We are now coming into a second summer with the air not working when its over 75 degrees out and it is now May of 2018 and were told that they would offer us an extended warranty at no cost. MY QUESTION IS WHAT GOOD WOULD THAT WARRANTY DO IF THE CURRENT WARRANTY CANT FIX IT EITHER!!!! By the way we only have 23k on this new truck. I would have been better off buying a used vehicle off of a used car lot on the highway than a brand new vehicle from Mercedes Benz! What a joke.

In November of 2018 I purchased a 2016 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 from Mercedes Music City in Nashville, Tenn. It had 20,000 miles and several months left on the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty. I live in Gainesville, Ga so flew there and drove it home. After driving it for 700 miles the check engine light came on and took it to RBM Mercedes of Roswell, GA. They found a few particles of something that was never identified residue in the fuel tank. I also found out the prior owner had check engine light issues also. RBM and Mercedes corporate determined it must be something I put in there and it contaminated the whole fuel system and now it needed $15,000 worth of repairs (whole fuel system needed replacement). I had driven it 700 miles and put 2 tanks of fuel in it. They refused to fix it. I did a lot of research on the internet. They charged me over $1,000 for cleaning out the tank and fuel lines and I left. I took it to an independent Diesel mechanic who tested the injector pump and said it wasnt putting out enough pressure. He replace it and the lift pump in the tank. Cost for repair was $2700. Pump was a warranty item. There was nothing in the old pump. It was just defective. Dealer and Mercedes misdiagnosed the problem and will not pay the repair. They insist they were right. The woman I spoke to at Mercedes was arrogant and didnt give a crap what I had to say or what I could prove. If you’re thinking of buying a Mercedes- dont. Buy a different Vehicle. This will be my last Mercedes.

E500 2005 40k miles. Routine check up as MB suggested! Problem: oil/fluid leaked on garage floor with a big spot (a lot of fluid). 4/19/2016 drop off the car for MB dealer service. 4/22/2016 they sent me a report about the leaking oil/fluid. Reason: The fluid leak appears to be coming from the transmission pan/13 electrical connector. The repair would be similar to a transmission service. Open transmission pan, replace filter, gasket, electrical connector and torque and clean area of leak. $758 VIP discount = $658 + tax.I called and emailed MB customer service to help about this situation. I believe they stand behind their products. They called me back to let me know that it is out of warranty even the car is 40k and take a good care. They can not do anything. I found out she never talked to the service dealer to find the issues of the car. Bad customer service, irresponsible! She needs to understand the issues before she talked to me but Nope! This really bad customer service and bad products too. I hope MB get this message and talk to her about how to solve the problem!!! My car is still at Fletcher Jones of Fremont 5760 Cushing Parkway, Fremont Ca 94538.

I just purchase a 2015 C63 AMG S. The moldings are falling off the car under the door. The car was taken to their body shop and the molding were replaced. A week later they started to come off again. Today I took the time to go to the dealer and talk to the shop foreman about this issue. We both agreed that the molding and lower panels are made defective and there may be no fix for this problem. I hope that Mercedes comes up with a fix soon or I will have to replace this car asap. It seems that the quality of their product has gone down the tube.

I have Mercedes C 200 model 2008, I do all my services in the official dealer in Egypt. After 3 days of my last visit to the service center, I was in the oil station, left the cassette and the lights working then. When I returned, I found the battery was very low to start the car. I did a battery connection one time according to the owners manual but it didnt work. Then I asked the dealer to send a truck, after 2 days they told me that that they charged the battery and everything is okay but when I went there and after paying the bill, the car didnt work, then they told me to leave the car again. After 5 days, they told me that the control unit is dysfunctional and it needs 2 months to bring it from Germany. So how come this situation occurs in a Mercedes-Benz car with 50,000 km? How could I stay 2 months without my car? How come the dealer didnt notice that the battery needs to be changed in my last visit to the service center? Ive trusted this brand for more than 30 years and after this situation my confidence was affected.

After I visited the car dealer to trade in my car to buy another, I chose a 2006 R 350 Mercedes Benz. After I test drive it I decided to go ahead and buy it, did the paper works, I was inform that I couldnt drive the car home that night, the report was they having a problem starting the vehicle, something to do with the battery. I try to resolve it but it kept doing the same thing, I think that when they realized it was not the battery but something more internal. Long story short, after I receive the car couple day after it was deliver, it would not start. Took it back to Spanos, they looked at it and said they didnt find anything wrong with the it. Thought maybe its just a one time thing, but after about a couple of days, the car kept doing the same thing until about three month of having the car, it stop working completely.Took it to my mechanic and thats when I found out that they actually rig up the gas pump with industrial glue, they reroute a wire in the fuse box because they didnt want to spend money to fix it before they put on their lot for sale. I actually took it to the Mercedes Benz shop and they were baffled that someone could rig up a repair and sell it to unsuspecting customer. Now Im stuck with a car I cant drive for months, it still in the shop and that to and injury they actually sold me the car way over Kelley Blue Book value, stole my cadillac for little or nothing, now Im stuck with a car with a bad repair. My only thing is I would like Spanos to make sure they repair these car properly before they put it for sale. They do have a bad reputation for doing stuff like that and I also like for them to fix my car or pay for the repairs they should have done before it was sold to me.

Thanks to diminishing quality and outrageous dealer charges, depreciation on these cars is huge. If you avoid the hand grenades like air suspension, brake issues (2003-2006), exploding early 350 motors, and are prepared to never go near a dealer, you get an outstanding low mileage used car. I have a 1999 E320, purchased in 2009 with 45K miles, well under $10k. I now have 82k on it, and apart from a little A/C work, it has been trouble free and a pleasure to drive. Yes, oil changes are expensive at about $100, but are only required every 12k miles. I also have a 2007 CLK350 Cabrio, purchased last year with only 24k miles for under $20K. I have put about 10K miles on it so far, and it is as reliable and pleasant as the E320.

I have a huge issue with MB. I own a 2006 CLS 500. This was my dream car. I wanted this car so bad but when I bought it, it gave me nothing but problems. More than twice my brakes went completely out. I could not stop or slow my vehicle down, red light flashed on my dashboard saying stop reduce braking power. Do you know how scary that is to be driving on the freeway 65-70MPH & have a car cut you off & you cant stop or slow down because your breaks completely shut down, shut off. There was another couple times I was driving at 45-55mph on the street and Im coming up on a red light and I cant STOP my car at all, the breaks lock up. I feel so lucky me or my family riding in my car were not injured. Twice MB had to fix the recall SBC (Sensotronic Brake Control) on my car. Certain vehicles, the sensotronic brake control (SBC) system may prematurely shift to the hydraulic back-up function mode, due to deterioration of the wiring harness connection, or due to premature failure of the hydraulic pump.Twice they had to fix this problem. I dont feel safe in this car at all. But the icing on this cake is once I got my car out of the shop, I go to Costco & fill up my gas tank, come out from shopping and underneath the drivers side back, tire gas is leaking. Me & my family get in the car & it smells so bad of gas which isnt good for a toddler to breathe nor anyone to breathe in for that matter. So I take it right back to the dealership & they diagnosed the problem -- crack in my gas tank. So since Im catching on to all these car reviews online I do my research and come to find out that Im not the only one with this or these problems on my 2006 CLS 500. Mind you MB said the gas tank leak & replacement would cost me 3,000$ to fix. So Im doing my research and there is no recall, just complaint after complaint about this gas tank leak. MB insists if I dont fill up my gas tank all the way it wont leak. I couldnt afford 3,000$ for a problem I knew MB was responsible for. So Ive been driving around for 1yr & a half with a cracked gas tank.Dec 2015 Ive exhausted all my options. Now I cant register my car, the check engine light is on because of the crack in the gas tank. So I was recently doing more research and finally MB extended the warranty & is going to cover the gas tank problem after letting me drive around with a cracked gas tank for 1yr and a half -- doesnt sound very safe and reliable. Mercedes-Benz slogan is The Best or Nothing. I havent gotten the best customer service. Roadside is picking my car up today 12-8-15 & MB of Scottsdale AZ informed me since the gas tank is on back order 1-6 weeks and they can NOT give me a loaner car. But they are going to keep my car for 1-6 weeks till the part comes in & the service rep. informed me there is 13 people ahead of me waiting on gas tanks so really who knows how long this will take. I called customer service, they were of NO help. I called them a few more times explaining to them I will NOT have a car. How will I get to work?! They said borrow a friend or family members car (I live in AZ with no family here unfortunately). But how could this be my problem? MB service rep also suggested I can still drive my car till the gas tank comes in. But I explained Ive already used my extended registration from the MVD and I cant register my car without getting a smog and I wont pass smog because check engine light is on because of the Gas Tank Leak... MB customer service wont do anything to help. I asked them what would they suggest and they stay quiet!!! I NEED ANSWERS!! I cant afford to rent a car till when?! 1-6weeks?! They cant even give me a date it will be down, everything is just up in the air & Im ** out of luck.. I am NOT ok with the way Ive been treated dealing with MB. I thought it was The Best or Nothing. My problem still isnt solved. MB roadside is on their way to pick up my car & I still have no transportation. But my car needs to be at the shop so they can order the part. This is so ridiculous and absurd!!

I bought a certified Mercedes E350 at a Mercedes dealership in NJ in 2016.
I bought a certified Mercedes E350 at a Mercedes dealership in NJ in 2016. This vehicle was bought at night. I was given the vehicle to take home and since it was certified with a full warranty, I felt confident that the vehicle was in great condition with no issues. After all, the certified warranty has requirements the vehicle must meet before it can be certified. My vehicle must have been the exception. There was a long list of issues which made it apparent that this vehicle shouldnt have been certified. I was lied to about the vehicle being in an accident, bad brakes, squeaky steering, broken remote, deep 18 inch long gouges in the windshield and rear glass, many other things and, the focus of this story, the TeleAid was intermittently inoperable. Some of these issues were fixed by me having to get them to pick up the car and take it the car back to the dealership for repair. Some issues were created by them driving it. Once I received my car back with bent wheels which were the result of potholes near the dealership. The dealer brought it back anyway, I had to get them to come get it so they could fix the wheels. They fixed the wheels, but 6 months later, the finish of the wheels was faulty. They blamed it on me saying the other side of the car were the wheels they had fixed and the other wheels had to be something I did. My car but they know more than me about it. Even now, 5 years after purchase, it still has issues that the dealer never fixed. One issue is the TeleAid system is inoperable much of the time as I mentioned above. This is the system that costs $600 per year for the subscription and does basically the same thing as OnStar but for twice the cost. I brought this in to the Mercedes dealer where I purchased it numerous times while still under the certified warranty for the TeleAid to be repaired. Every time I was told they couldnt find the issue. This left me without the option to use the system for safety and convenience due to its unreliability. Now 5 years later, I had to bring my car to the Mercedes dealer, a different Mercedes dealer, for the airbag recall among other things. The mechanic runs a short scan and finds the TeleAid issue on the first day its there. The antenna has been the issue all this time since it was first purchased. Will Mercedes own the issue since it shouldnt have been there when I bought the Certified vehicle in the first place? NO. Will Mercedes honor the original warranty since the issue was brought to their attention while the car was covered by the certified warranty? NO. Even though it was brought to the Mercedes dealer for this issue at least 4 times within the first year I owned the vehicle? NO. Even though I have documentation from the dealership showing I told them about the problem and they didnt fix it, documentation from the time it was covered? NO. Even though the corporate customer service representative told me at the time to document the TeleAid issue so that if its figured out when the warranty is expired, they will know it was an issue under the warranty and they will fix it for free? NO. What does Mercedes wonderful customer service department say? Not the dealership but the Mercedes main customer service, the ones who are supposed to help when the dealer doesnt? They said, Well, the representative who said that doesnt work here anymore. They said they would give me a sales incentive to buy another Mercedes, but they will not take financial responsibility for the issue because its not under warranty. They said this repeatedly like they were reading a script. They are actually under the impression that a customer could be treated this poorly and then, because of a nondescript sales incentive, the customer will forget their entire frustrating experience and buy another Mercedes. I was under the belief that Mercedes was a company known for excellence in customer service. I found they would rather lose a customer than pay to fix a vehicle issue that should have never been there when the car was sold. The best part of Mercedes being willing to lose a customer is that the issue would only cost $240.00 to fix. In my opinion, what the dealer does is puts a certified warranty on the car, which they pay for. Then they leave to problems for the customer to find, bring the car back in, and then charge the warranty company for the repairs they perform. That is exactly what happened with me. So, in closing, I have lost almost all respect for Mercedes as a company. With the exception of a few dealership employees, the company is horrible to deal with. They refuse to do the right thing by their customers. The only reason for the 2 star rating instead of a 1 star rating is my experience with one service manager. He deserves 5 stars and a raise, the rest of this company was a waste of my money and many hours of my time in trying to resolve issues that should have never existed. If this saves one person from blindly buying a certified Mercedes, Ill be happy. Dont trust the image, its not accurate.

I purchased a 2018 MB GLE 350 4 months ago with the expectation that the vehicle would have certain functioning amenities. WRONG!! I now own a $70,000 car that cannot even be started remotely because the Mercedes Me app NEVER works! I have to physically walk outside every morning and start the thing to warm up. I’ve called numerous times and am always told the app is down and being worked on. I’m sorry, but if this is true, they need better IT personal because millions of apps work perfectly well all the time. You will not receive any customer service and your level of frustration will increase exponentially with every call. The vehicle also lacks other ‘basic’ options such as a touchscreen radio/GPS, horrible voice recognition without your iPhone attached. (Thank God for Apple Play or the entire enter system would be basically useless!) The seat warmer and defroster does not come on automatically. On the rare occasion the remote start does work so after 10 minutes your windshield is still covered with ice, and I could go on with more issues but will stop there. I’ve always owned Jeep Grand Cherokees and wish more than anything I still did!!! Seriously, do not waste your money on a MB, read all the reviews carefully and save yourself the disappointment!

Buyers beware! You may run into the same problems that I have with a 2013 E-Class Sedan. The car (VIN=**) was delivered on 31 Dec 2012 and shortly thereafter developed a problem with the SmartKey. Take my word for it smart this key aint. It works best when at the dealer, when I first reported that problem with the unreliability the reaction was. This guy is a nut. Always very politely but the message was clear. Fortunately the system fail during a non-related service visit at the dealer. That did initiate some more investigation, after several visits to replace door handles, antennas, etc. the key not detected message, failure to lock or unlock still exists. The final straw was when it was determined that the problem was the clothes I wear. The recommended fix was to use a leather cover over the SmartKey. That failed to make any difference so I have given up and decided to live with the issue until the warranty expires. At that time I decided that the only reason buying a Mercedes could be justified is to impress your neighbors. Because I could care less what my neighbors think. Once this car is traded it will be replaced with ANYTHING but a Mercedes. The other issue is the GPS that must have been designed by a high school student. To update to the latest maps you have to wait until the maps for your car are released. It is astoundingly idiotic that the maps for every year, body style and class are different. Not only that for less than half of the update cost you can buy a Garmin that includes the GPS unit and lifetime maps that have markedly superior performance. So much for German engineering. Having said that, the car is a pleasure to drive on the highway, the roadability and comfort can not be criticized.

I have had numerous problems in my 4 year old ML 500 with the Airmatic suspension which I think is an untested, failed technology. As a result I have spent several thousand dollars replacing the suspension despite the fact that I never go off-roading with this car and also drive carefully to avoid the delicate suspension breaking down. My previous complaints to Daimler as well as their Middle East dealer have had NO RESPONSE! That suggests that not only is the car bad but also the support offered by the vendor is non-existent. Bought my first car (this being the 2020 plate 70 reg A-Class PHEV premium plus 1.3L hatchback), and unfortunately the navigation system and customer aftercare was ATROCIOUS. I was back in the Merc showroom a week after I purchased the car due to the speedometer showing 70mph on the side streets and 20mph on a motorway! There was also NO sight of the mandatory accessories that were in the car. The ENGINEERS said that a full download WASNT completed on this BRAND NEW fully fitted, TOP OF THE RANGE vehicle and even after them taking my car in for the day, its still NOT WORKING. When requesting an initial check up of the car (due to the navigation system failing and taking the longer routes around town) he told me to press the SOS system in the car which directs you to air ambulance, then a roadside engineer (both who said the whole situation has heightened due to the fault of the salesman). The inadequacy of the sales team is awful especially with their customer aftercare and ’support. When the car arrived, the salesman who I dealt with didnt bother showing me any of the cars gadgets, the car wasn’t even full charged on the electric - there was no effort made when presenting the car which was very disappointing. The car is a premium plus (top of the range) meaning that all the extra features such as the cable are meant to come with the car. When questioning the salesman I dealt with, he refused to acknowledge that the accessories came with the car and stopped replying to my messages giving no response! It was only after dealing with the engineer, we pushed for the already paid for accessories. Being a loyal customer, we had foresight of purchasing another vehicle however, due to the REPETITION OF TERRIBLE experiences with the car, customer services, problematic navigation…. I’m appalled! The whole experience was very troublesome, lack of support was given from the Mercedes Leicester team, there was absolutely no aftercare provided. The car’s navigation and speedometer is STILL NOT WORKING. I don’t recommend anyone to purchase this new vehicle, especially from the Leicester branch. Very disappointed.

I have very bad experience with Mercedes Benz. I have two recalls. I have battery problem. It cost me $2,300. My car is 200K but the quality is rubbish. After recall, I have to walk to the North service centre from train station because they dont answer to my telephone call for pick up. When I check the rate of Mercedes Benz, it is 27th which is bottom. The past glorious time is gone. It is absolutely rubbish. Anyone buy Mercedes Bend I call he or she is HOKU, which means foolish people.

I have a C350 2009 that has a transmission double shifting problem from 11K miles. When car is cold, once you pass from park to drive with the brakes applied, you get two hits to get in driving mode. The first one is the common sensation of getting in drive; the second one is like somebody is hitting your rear bumper. After two years driving the car to Mercedes Benz of Pembroke Pines where they tried all possible solutions directed by MB USA, which include repairing transmission, changing computer programs, replacing a transmission, placing a new parts from Germany and more that can be seen in my car maintenance history, all of this represents two years of stress and loss of my time. Today, I was surprised that MB USA got the conclusion based on one of their specialists that the issue in my car is common for all other cars same model parked at the dealer. Is this not amazing? All the money and time spent to fix my complaint got the great and funny conclusion that this is part of the car design? It is offensive. It is frustrating that we, the customers, look for a good and guaranteed car that make our driving and lives easy without problems and results that now I cannot believe in Mercedes Benz as my dream car because MB is designing and building cars that have issues hidden, not described in their owner manual or at least notified to customers. What is happening with one of the best car brands in the world? For sure Ill not purchase any other Mercedes Benz in my life and will not recommend anybody believing on brands. All are the same! If somebody has a suggestion on how I may elevate my frustration and solve this situation is more than welcome to contact me.

I bought a Mercedes ML350 2012 in mid October of this year. The check engine light came up after one month and a half (1,500 miles). I took it to the dealer of Massapequa three times and it seems like they cant fix it. Now, Im driving their loaner car for a week and they promised to have it done, asap. I dont know yet the New Yorks > law. I think after 3 or 4 times, I should get a replacement. I was so proud to have another Mercedes (I own a 300SD 1985) when I bought it and now I feel like I was wrong. Isnt this a serious issue? The dealership didnt even call me today as they promised me, to let me know what the story is and how long I have to wait for my truck. I am so frustrated with this serious issue and I am asking you if you could be able to do something about this. Thanks.

I drive a 2011 Mercedes Benz E350. The extended warranty is expired but it only has 89,000 kms on it. First issue, the air conditioning gives me heat instead of cold air. I had sensors to replace after checking warning light codes. The main issue Im having with Mercedes is there is a tear in the leatherette seats in the drivers side. The car has only 89,000 km. I can understand the other issues and how I would be out of pocket, but I would expect a much higher quality standard for an $80,000 dollar car. I had assumed the seats were made out of real leather and would be stitched properly. This issue I expected Mercedes to resolve. However, after many attempts the best they offered was to pay for half the material (about 25% of the total cost). Mercedes is not the quality of vehicle that their image portrays. I would not buy another one in the future, back to BMW for my next vehicle.

I purchased a new E-320, brand new, fully loaded. Hand washed from day one to this day. Driven only 14 miles/day! It has only 40k miles. I babied this vehicle and it is in mint condition. Looks like a museum piece! At around 30k miles the leather sit seams came apart! (???) Note that I have the massage package so you would expect a top quality leather. Dealer did me a favor and replaced it. Later I found out that MB *knew* about the upholsterys low quality they used. Now, at 40k miles the left side of the driver seat is peeling off!! Went to the dealer - horrible dealer btw - (MB of Nanuet RT 304 Nanuet, NY) and the service manager, without even looking at it said, Oh! Wear and tear not covered, sorry. Are you kidding me??? 40k miles? I weight 180 pounds, tall and slim. My neighbor has a BMW with over 80k miles, he weights probably 350 pounds and the seat look like new! Do yourself a favor. MB has the reputation but the quality parts they use - at least the leather - is horrible. Never ever again!! And also stay away form that horrible dealer. I plan to put a sign in my vehicle and drive around with a picture of the peeling leather and the name of the dealer who refuses to take care of it. That, based on the mint condition of the vehicle most likely will raise eyebrows. Shame on you Mercedes Benz!

Mr. Mercedes: Shake your head or roll over in your grave. Our new 2018 C43 AMG my wifes car needed new all season tires. I went to the Queensway Toronto Canada location and bought the rims and new winter tires about $4000.00, Free storage of our original tires and the new all season installed. Early April rolled by and the weather was warmer time to change the tires, this is when it started like a ** show, my first appointment was today May 29th 2018, requested a pickup and leave a loaner vehicle. We live 2 km away. Abruptly was told NO DON’T OFFER THAT SERVICE”. Went there for my 7.30 AM appointment, the staff opened the door at exactly 7.30am, No greeting other than running in circles getting the staff papers ready to do the staff job, then a HALLLLO no face to face contact. Impolite then I was reprimanded that I was early YOUR APPOINTMENT IS 7.45”. Is there a charge $70.00. You’re kidding. Im not paying to have my tires put back on, WELL YOU BETTER TALK TO ANOTHER STAFF. In the meanwhile other staff are coming to work and exercising their legs getting limbered up for their job but nobody, says hello or BOO. Then Mr STAFF, came by 30 minutes later MR SHUTERMANN, non polite no effort to even come close to pronouncing my name. Then it even got stupider, Mr Staff WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO WITH YOUR TIRES. Now Im asking, “Is this a joke”, for 15 minutes’ worth of work Im there an hour now. My other issues about the car fuse cover keeps falling off and the front hood had permanent paint discoloring, when this was shown, Mr Staff YOU DONT KEEP YOUR CAR VERY CLEAN DO YOU. Now we really get bazaar. MR STAFF says YOU’RE CRITICIZING ME PERSONALLY. Wow now we’re going down a really dangerous ** path unbelievable, the ** show continues. Then Mr Staff asked me WHAT DO I DO FOR A LIVING. I expect an apology from senior Mercedes management. Completely unbelievable.

Purchased my 2014 C300 a week ago. Has 10,000 miles. Traded in my 2011 C300 with 75k miles. Had 2 other previous Mercedes also, 2002, 2009. All had approx 75k miles when traded and NEVER an issue with previous 3 cars. 2014 has the ECO start/stop feature which if you research is not a FEATURE but a problem. Roadside Assistance tech who came out yesterday to try to assist me was floored when he could not even jump start it as he believed the starter was gone. He called Tow company, who also could not jump and gave same opinion, crazy that the starter could be gone! The ECO start/stop is believed to be the cause and if you read other problems it does a number on the wear of a battery and starter due to the excessive starting and stopping compared to vehicles without this!!! VERY IRATE AND DISAPPOINTED out of my new car for 2 days and everyone is sorry for my inconvenience.

With documentation: Purchased a 2010 ML350 Mercedes with 55,000 miles from a local/reputable dealer. Engine light was on when I test drove. Return visit the engine light was off and I was told it was a minor situation and after through check the car was in excellent condition. (Body, interior, like new.) Purchased the vehicle. Engine light continued to come on then go off. Weeks later the engine light came on and stayed on for several local miles. Immediately took for service. Had 60,000 maintenance done, oil change, other. Engine light stayed off. Drove to S Florida. Engine light came on again. Took to reputable foreign car specialist. Needed # 4 engine coil. Engine light off. Few (short) weeks later - engine light on. Immediately returned to shop. Needed # 4 coil replacement. Few (short) week(s) later - engine light on. Then engine light off & stayed off. Shipped to VA. Engine light off. Drove short miles - engine light on again - this time I returned to the VA foreign car specialist to determine why the light keeps coming on. Same symptoms over and over since before 55,000 miles on a well serviced car. Summary: This car needs a # 4 cylinder (head?) replacement, plus there is a TSB from Mercedes on this engine for known problems. Mercedes Corporate (told me I was not loyal to the brand) refuses to stand behind the vehicle. Corporate passed to a dealer whom I did not purchase the car from. They of course are unwilling to help. I have not gotten help anywhere. NOW I ASK YOU - Will you purchase a Mercedes knowing it could need a new engine @ 55,000 (+/- ) miles? No car with 55,000 miles should have these kinds of issues let alone what used to be the top luxury car. It is not the customer who is not loyal to the brand - it is the company who is not loyal to the customer and dropping the makers ranking from number one to number three (or below). I need a sound engine in my car. BUYER BEWARE when buying Mercedes Benz. [Note: If this saga ends on a reputable note - I will update this posting.]

Loved the comfort, the handling, the speed and of course the luxury of a Mercedes Benz SL500. The convertible was spacious even with a retractable top. The seats were very comfortable and the interior actually suited passengers and drivers of all shapes and sizes comfortably. I loved the safety features but I also loved that many were intrigued enough to learn more about the car and the comfort of the ride. However, I dislike the sticker price. But I enjoyed the driving experience. I was confident at every moment that I would have a safe ride, yet sporty and fast. It was a bucket list dream come true item to check off!

My 2006 Mercedes Benz ML350 was diagnosed with a balance shaft problem at another shop. I brought it back to Mercedes Benz of Baton Rouge to check and make sure the diagnosis was correct. The service manager Dan notified me that I did have the problem and that it would cost approximately $6,000.00.I had been talking to MB USA about some type of assistance. MB USA notified MB of BR and promised to pay 50% of the bill. I only had $2,000.00 which I told Dan. I went and borrowed $1,000.00 to repair my truck. MB of BR kept my vehicle about three weeks. I was called by Dan on Wednesday, August 10, to tell me that my vehicle was fixed and ready for pickup. I arrived at the dealership at approximately 5:45 p.m. I paid for the vehicle and drove it to Prairieville, LA, approximately 30 minutes away from the dealership. I went shopping at Walmart. I cranked my vehicle at 7:05 p.m. I heard a loud noise and the car cut off. I restarted and I had plenty of codes on the screen. I immediately called MB of BR at 7:09 p.m. and left a voice message about my vehicle. I returned the vehicle to MB of BR the next day. I was notified yesterday, August 16, 2010, that several sensors had gone out and it had nothing to do with the repair work that they completed on my balance shaft. I was quoted $1,700.00 to fix this problem. I only drove the car for 30 minutes, approximately 20 miles, and my car broke down. I was never notified about any other issues with the engine; however, I was made aware about some routine maintenance such as new tires, brake pads, and a shock. I have tried to talk to the owner, Joe, the service manager, Dan and Bryan, who is over at the repair area. I also talked to Gwen and Margie. Bryan told me that I told Dan to only fix the balance shaft problem. Dan and I disclaimed that statement. I never told anyone at MB of BR to only work on the balance shaft problem. I never knew anything about other problems and was not given that information. When I left MB of BR, my vehicle was clear of any errors. Bryan claims that he even drove my vehicle approximately 70 miles and he did not get any codes; however, within 20 miles of me driving it, it broke down. They disconnected the electrical system and removed the motor, and MB of BR is telling me that the new problem did not stem from them working on the vehicle for three weeks.

This is my 2nd ML320, Yr. 2000, 63,000 miles. The first was a 98--a LEMON. Last week a man was checking the oil, and the hood suddenly dropped. Luckily, I was standing there and stopped it from decapitating him or causing a brain injury. However, it did cause a serious blow to the head. The Mercedes dealer in Tucson, AZ said this was a known danger. The springs/shocks wear out. Repair would cost $200. Mercedes Benz is negligent in failing to warn owners of this known danger, and knowing the danger exists, in not installing a security rod (as I have in my 87 Honda Prelude) in case the springs/shocks fail. Someone could be killed or decapitated if this heavy hood dropped on them. The Tucson Mercedes dealer was unwilling to lower the repair price from $200, so I took it to the mechanic who has kept my 87 Honda running for 28 years. He replaced the springs/shocks in the hood for $25 each, total $50. At the same time, to prevent a fatal accident or head injury, if the rear tailgate springs/shocks should fail, he replaced them for $30 each, total $60. So brand new shocks for both the hood and tailgate cost a total of $110, rather than $200 for only the hood as quoted by MB.In addition to this life-threatening problem, the sunroof does not work, the locks dont work, the rear windows get gummy if theyre rolled down, the plastic cover over the inside light on the tailgate falls off whenever we open the door, the automatic seat adjustment doesnt work, the air conditioner compressor died, etc. We are terribly disappointed in this car and in Mercedes for not standing behind their product, but rather charging exorbitant prices for repair. This is the second lemon weve had from Mercedes. Both were purchased NEW from the Tucson Mercedes dealer.

I have a Mercedes E350 and purchased MBrace for roadside assistance. I have unfortunately had to use it about 6 times diue to the low profile tires and NJ roads! One time I waited 4 hours on the side of a busy highway. Apparently they canceled my roadside assistance because when I called they asked if I was in a safe area and I said no so they said they would send police to put out flares or park behind me. The police never showed and why would they cancel my tire change to begin with??? The next time they said due to my location, they couldnt help me, after being cut off 4, yes, 4 times waiting on hold and having to call back!Another time I waited an hour and a half and when the guy finally came, he broke off the piece that is supposed to be removed to allow the jack to sit against the underside of my car. I called roadside assistance another time and it rang, said it was connected and no one came on to help me. I had to hang up each time. I called the info button to speak with someone and she just connected me and I was cut off again! The service is worthless and expensive!

Our 2015 S63 Coupe has leather that is peeling back and shrinking on the dash. Granted this is partially my fault because we leave our black car in the South Florida sun for long periods of time, but a car that cost us $194k plus taxes should hold up a little better in the heat. Day one I proceeded to get the car I’ve always wanted, C300. I purchased a package to take care of the car in case anything happens. I found out 1. The package did not include all I was told, and 2 - I was paying for a feature my car never had. The GPS (send to Benz) was removed and three service places could not figure out what happened to it. “It’s somewhere in cyberspace” is what I was told. I then tried to renew my registration in another state; I needed the title and power of attorney, and Mercedes sent a copy.. the DMV needed to original paperwork. Twice copies were sent. I RS now almost May 2020, been waiting to register my car since March. I’ve been paying for a rental for well over a month. Now with the Covid-19 epidemic DMV is closed. If Mercedes would have sent the documents in the first place I would be registered already. Then I was told I would have to pay over five hundred dollars for them to take back my lease car.. because I refuse to lease or purchase another Mercedes. My dream has been shattered and I’m extremely disappointed with Mercedes. When I ask to speak to a manager it never happened and the customer complaints department just stood quiet as I explained My problems and disappointment.

I had wonderful service whilst deciding whether to purchase an ML 250 BLUETEC AMG with premium pack model or replace my BMW with another BMW X5. I was contacted almost daily and looked after well with a good offer. I asked if the car had DAB radio (never expecting to be told that NO Mercedes cars come with DAB radio)! All cars have DAB radio, even basic starter cars!!! This was my main complaint all through my purchase, but was told I could connect my iPhone and listen to DAB. I was not overly happy but having liked the car and fancying a change from BMW purchased the car.My disappointment came when first using the car and finding that the equipment provided in the car was not compatible with my iPhone 6! I had to buy a converter!!!! Then, because of this the connection was not good and of course the connectivity keeps failing due to signal fall out!! I have never been so frustrated and nearly crashed the car fiddling with the equipment! I was unaware DAB was an optional extra AT 2,000!!!! Which I have since been told it will cost me. Customer service were not helpful, just telling me it was an option at purchase? I would happily exchange my Mercedes for a BMW given the chance. It has been a 6 weeks since I took delivery of the car and it looks like I will have to pay to have a conversation? Its a joke!!
