Lotus Automobile Model 2025 Lotus Evija
2025 Lotus Evija
The 2025 Lotus Evija remains the brand’s ultimate halo car, a fully electric hypercar designed to showcase the absolute peak of Lotus engineering and performance capability. It represents not only the most powerful production vehicle in Lotus’s history but also one of the most powerful road cars in the world. The Evija continues to serve as a statement of intent, proving that Lotus can translate its lightweight racing heritage into the era of electrification without sacrificing excitement.
On the outside, the Evija is instantly recognizable as a futuristic hypercar. Its design is heavily influenced by aerodynamics, with sculpted airflow tunnels that channel air directly through the bodywork, creating the appearance of a car carved by the wind itself. This “porosity” concept reduces drag while maximizing downforce. A low stance, wide track, and massive diffuser dominate the rear, complemented by ultra-slim LED lighting that emphasizes its exotic nature. Active aerodynamic elements, including an adaptive rear wing and deployable drag-reduction system, ensure the Evija delivers both stability and efficiency at extreme speeds.
The interior is driver-focused but also forward-looking in its use of materials and layout. A floating center console with capacitive touch controls, a minimalist steering wheel inspired by motorsport, and a digital driver display create a cockpit that feels futuristic yet purposeful. Lightweight materials such as carbon fiber dominate the cabin, while fine leather and Alcantara trims remind occupants that this is also a luxury hypercar. Despite its extreme performance credentials, the interior remains surprisingly functional for short drives on the road.
The true highlight of the Evija is its powertrain. The car uses four electric motors, one at each wheel, delivering a combined output of nearly 2,000 horsepower. This allows the Evija to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 3 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 200 mph. Power delivery is instant and seamless thanks to the torque-vectoring system, which actively distributes power to individual wheels for maximum grip and agility. The car’s lightweight carbon-fiber monocoque chassis ensures it maintains Lotus’s tradition of low weight, especially impressive for an EV hypercar.
A mid-mounted battery pack, developed with motorsport expertise, provides both optimal weight distribution and a driving range of around 250 miles under typical conditions. The Evija supports ultra-fast charging thanks to its advanced electrical architecture, capable of replenishing the battery in as little as 20 minutes under the right conditions. This makes it as practical as any hypercar can be when considering its performance envelope.
Handling is tuned to live up to Lotus’s reputation. The Evija combines active suspension, precision steering, and its torque-vectoring system to provide sharp cornering dynamics. Even though it delivers immense power, the car is engineered to inspire confidence rather than intimidation, making it accessible to skilled drivers who want to push its limits on track.
In terms of exclusivity, production remains extremely limited, with only 130 units planned worldwide. This ensures the Evija is not only one of the most advanced hypercars but also one of the rarest. Each model can be highly customized with unique finishes, interior materials, and personal details, allowing owners to create a truly bespoke machine.
The 2025 Lotus Evija is more than just a car—it is a rolling showcase of what Lotus envisions for the future of performance in an electrified world. It blends breathtaking design, extreme engineering, and cutting-edge technology into a package that redefines what a hypercar can be.

Excellent company . Produces outstanding products. Only down point is the team of people they have on the shop floor deserve much more for the work they do and create ,not just the people at the top . Other than that with the new owners in place they sure are developing more and investing so I will personally be looking forward to what comes next at group lotus .Harley gilding
The most fun cars i have ever owned, amazing value, great finish. Just wish they didnt rattle lol, overall very happy with my exige!!!!!
Simply the best cars on the market, apart from the 340r maybe.
Great cars ever!
the new lotus gt is even better than the Evora 400. The car is more planted due to aero, it has an increase in power also. Dependable due to the 3.5 v6 Toyota engine. I also own a Porsche 911 and the lotus out performs the Porsche all day long especially on twisty mountain roads. This car is a pure enthusiast drivers car .Performance and superb handling, out performs anything on the country roads or track. this is probably the best balanced car that you will ever drive. Very reliable due to Toyota motor and transmission. It's amazing the more you drive it the more smiles per miles
