2025 Audi S7

The 2025 Audi S7 continues to redefine the executive sportback class, offering an ideal combination of dynamic performance, sleek design, and technological refinement. This latest iteration of Audi’s performance fastback blends its sporty lineage with a host of upgrades that elevate both driving excitement and interior sophistication, all while maintaining the practical hatchback layout that has become a signature of the S7 line.

Powertrain and Performance.

Under the hood, the 2025 Audi S7 is powered by a refined 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, enhanced with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. This advanced configuration delivers 444 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, ensuring instant throttle response and impressive low-end power. The mild-hybrid system aids in both efficiency and smoothness, allowing for energy recuperation during braking and brief electric boosts during acceleration.

Power is routed through an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission that offers seamless gear changes and manual shifting capability through steering wheel-mounted paddles. The quattro all-wheel-drive system is standard, ensuring superior traction and stability in all driving conditions, whether launching from a stop or carving through winding roads.

The S7 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, with a limited top speed of 250 km/h. The optional sport differential adds an extra layer of agility by actively distributing torque between the rear wheels during cornering, helping the car rotate more naturally through tight bends.

Design and Exterior.

Visually, the 2025 S7 retains its signature sportback silhouette—an elegant blend of sedan and coupe elements with a gracefully sloped roofline and integrated liftback. The latest design update features a sharper, more aggressive front fascia with a wider Singleframe grille, flanked by matrix LED headlights with a new lighting signature. Larger air intakes and sculpted lines reinforce the car’s performance character, while subtle badging and quad exhaust outlets hint at its underlying power.

The rear of the vehicle continues to emphasize athleticism, with a full-width light bar that connects the LED taillights and an electronically controlled spoiler that deploys at speed. Available wheel sizes range up to 21 inches, with performance tires wrapped around multi-spoke alloys, completing the visual impact.

Interior and Technology.

Inside, the 2025 S7 offers an environment that blends high-tech functionality with first-class comfort. The cabin is trimmed in premium materials such as Valcona leather, brushed aluminum, and open-pore wood, depending on the trim. Standard heated and ventilated front sport seats provide exceptional support, while massage functionality and climate-controlled surfaces are available for an added level of luxury.

At the center of the dash is a dual touchscreen MMI system, consisting of a 10.1-inch upper screen for infotainment and navigation, and an 8.6-inch lower screen for climate and vehicle settings. The Audi Virtual Cockpit, a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster, provides customizable layouts with crisp graphics and real-time driving data.

Ambient interior lighting, a head-up display, and a Bang & Olufsen 3D premium sound system contribute to the cabin’s refined and immersive experience. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, multiple USB-C ports, and available rear-seat touch controls ensure the S7 is as tech-savvy as it is luxurious.

Driving Dynamics.

The adaptive air suspension system comes standard and allows drivers to choose between a comfortable cruising setup or a firmer, more dynamic stance for spirited driving. Drive Select modes—Comfort, Auto, Dynamic, and Individual—let drivers tailor throttle response, shift mapping, steering feel, and suspension stiffness to suit their mood and road conditions.

Optional dynamic all-wheel steering enhances maneuverability at low speeds and stability at higher ones by turning the rear wheels in opposite or the same direction as the front, depending on speed. Combined with the sport differential and torque vectoring, the S7 handles like a much smaller vehicle while maintaining its grand touring comfort.

Safety and Driver Assistance.

The 2025 S7 includes a comprehensive suite of standard driver assistance features, such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking. Audi’s advanced safety tech also includes traffic sign recognition, rear cross-traffic alert, and a surround-view camera system.

An optional driver assistance package includes adaptive lane guidance, intersection assist, and predictive efficiency assist, which uses GPS data to help optimize energy usage and adjust the car’s speed based on upcoming traffic signs and curves.

Practicality and Versatility.

While the S7 is undoubtedly a performance vehicle, it retains its practical edge. The sportback design allows for a wide rear hatch and a low load floor, providing access to a spacious cargo area. With the rear seats up, it offers generous trunk space suitable for luggage or weekend gear. Fold the rear seats down, and the cargo capacity rivals that of many SUVs.

Final Thoughts.

The 2025 Audi S7 remains a compelling option for those who desire performance without sacrificing comfort or everyday usability. It’s a car that feels just as at home on a twisting back road as it does cruising quietly down the highway or pulling up to a black-tie event. With cutting-edge tech, a refined driving experience, and unmistakable styling, the latest S7 continues to set the standard for the luxury sportback segment.

My wifes 2004 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8T suffered major engine damage when her oil pickup became clogged with sludge. The car had been dealer serviced its entire life. Audi lost a class action lawsuit over this issue which requires them to fix any damages at 100%. We filed a claim with Audi, but they denied it - saying my wifes car falls outside the range of VIN numbers they supplied in the lawsuit. This is despite Audi admits the damage was caused by the exact same problem. I feel Audi intentionally left out the VIN numbers of a vast number of 2004 A4s in the course of the settlement.

Do not ever ever ever purchase or lease an Audi! Heres my nightmare: back in 2010 my then husband leased an Audi in my name (the joys of marriage). About one year into the lease, we separated, both of us moving to opposite ends of California. The vehicle sat at our primary NY residence for almost two years as I would have been penalized for an early turn in. The car was only used for the limited times that I would return to the east coast, probably 5000 miles in total during that time. At just over 30,000 miles the clutch died without warning. This happened on a busy two-lane highway in a dangerous spot. Audi financial blamed it on driver mishandling. I have been driving manual transmission for 30 years and this has never happened. I am clearly capable of driving a stick shift. Happily my insurance covered it but for the deductible as Audi wanted to charge $6000 to repair. Finally, several months later the anticipated turn-in date arrives. I do everything I am supposed to: have the car inspected by Audi (which of course jacked up the damages); and turn it into an Audi authorized dealer (Audi Mohegan Lake, NY). The next day I turn in the plates and take this nightmare off of my insurance policy. I thought this was the end of my Audi dealing. Wishful thinking.Five months later I get a call from Audi Credit stating that I never paid the final bill. I advised that I never received the bill. This is because, as they explained, they never sent the bill! I told them to send the bill, which was received a month later. They are now asking for $497.35 in late return fees! Conveniently the odometer statement, prepared by Mohegan Lake Audi does not have the turn in date on it. Audi decided to wait a month to pick up the car after I turned it in. I have been back and forth with Audi Financial and Mohegan Lake and have yet to be able to get proof of the date on which I turned the car into Audi. My insurance (in deadbeat exs name) shows that I turned in the plates to the DMV and took the car off the policy on 7/2 (days after I turned the car in). I cannot find my DMV receipt, cannot get an answer when I call NY DMV, and cannot get the paperwork from Geico showing that the car was removed from the policy because the policy is now in my exs name. I am beyond frustrated! F AUDI!!!!!

I bought a brand new 2014 diesel Q7. I loved it, loved how it drove, the gas mileage, its acceleration and handling. I loved the sound system and how roomy it was, and how comfortable it was to drive and ride in from almost any seat. 3rd row kind of sucked, but usually their kids anyway. So what happened? The government. Freakin California says they lied about emissions. Diesels anywhere else in the world (literally - Ive been there) are mainstream BECAUSE of their fuel efficiency. So they pay me 8K to keep my car and fix it so that it meets ridiculous standards of emissions. I got it fixed May? of 2018. Its now been in the shop 2x for 7-10 days per time because of the ad blue light indicator/system being faulty. This last time they thought there was air in the lines so they had to have the mechanic drive it for 50 miles (with my permission - I live 2 hours from the dealer) to verify purging of the system. They also found out I had it chipped at some point - way before their fix and of course now they want to say their warranty for the fix is no longer viable. My performance chip that is no longer even connected due to their re-construction of my exhaust system has nothing to do with their ad-blue fiasco. Of course, in Audis best interest they no longer offer diesel vehicles in the US but will still offer them overseas. Along with VW who has a smashing replica in 2019 of what this car used to be. I used to love my Audi, now its an anchor and potential money pit.

I did 45000 miles service at Audi Denver. I pre-paid next service that comes at 55000. Everything was nice until then because they were getting money. Nobody told me that there is validity for Audi care and now when I went there to get the service done they told me that it is expired, nothing can be done and the money that I paid is gone. I contacted Audi America and no one is helpful. They are least bothered about their customers issue (especially when the money is paid to them). There is no escalation process. Nobody cares. Highly unsatisfied. Dont know how much this forum will be useful but want to make other aware of this bad experience that I had with them.

The vehicle has never missed a service and yet it has had issues since the very first week it was purchased new from Audi Centre Perth in May 2010 for just over $100,000.00. See the History of excess oil consumption which is ongoing, gearbox malfunction at 62,000km, and now the catastrophic engine failure at 102,000km, due to the faulty timing chain tensioner. The most disappointing thing of all is that once you actually begin to investigate these issues it is very clear to see that Audi were well aware of these issues all along. In fact, only after legal action in the USA, they agreed to rectify these issues at no cost to owners. The oil issue is covered for an extended 8 years or 88,000 miles for 3 options of rectification, and the engine failure due to the faulty timing chain tensioner is covered for 10 years or 100,000 miles with a replacement of the engine. However by far the worst part that I find completely outrageous is the fact that there was a recall in the USA of all vehicles with this engine type to replace the faulty Timing Chain tensioner due to the significant number of engines having to be replaced, yet Audi Australia failed to even advise owners of the high probability of a catastrophic engine failure. The lack of disclosure to Australian owners denied them and me the option of even paying for a replacement tensioner, at a much smaller cost, and prevent what appears to be the inevitable engine failure and the significant cost to rectify that. The exact situation that I find myself in now.The failure of Audi Australia and the Audi Service Centre to inform me at any stage that there was a known defect in the timing chain tensioner, and advise me that it would be wise to replace it at a small cost now, rather than be left with an enormous unexpected cost down the track. The cost is one thing however the absolute inconvenience of the vehicle being off the road for 3 weeks now, combined with having to hire a car and not being offered a loan car after 3 weeks, is also unacceptable.

I got my Q3 brand spankin new and for the first 2 years it was excellent. Now in my 3rd year, Ive had my vehicle serviced twice for rear-view camera malfunctions. Now, my vehicle wont turn on. Im stranded. I have what I suspect to be some sort of major computer malfunction because despite my turning the vehicle off, the radio turns on by itself and is what I suspect to be the reason why my battery has drained (and no, I never got the battery service light prior to this incident, in fact, I didnt get any service indicator lights). Once I miraculously got it started, the speedometer and computer mph reading defer by 25 mph - at a red light the computer reads Im going 25 mph. I also get the occasional TPMS on my dash and my tires are fine. This wouldve cost me a fortune if my vehicle werent still under warranty. Its only 3 years and 8 months old and has less than 42000 miles.

Audi Q7 3.0 TDI S-line - First my radio went off. A week later my MMI went down. Took it into an auto electric place that said there was an amp that they need to order but I could take my car back, but I wouldnt have any MMI. While driving the car and just leaving the motor way I thought the brakes had failed, then realized the engine had cut out. After 6 hours with my wife and my daughter a recovery truck turn up. We eventually got it back to a local Garage to be told the engine had seized. After phoning around different Audi approved dealers and told Q7 engines are bullet proof. I paid to have my car collected and taken to an Audi garage, to be told after 2 weeks and a new battery that my engine was in deed knackered!!! Insurance won’t cover this… Audi do not want to Know, so I am left paying for a crap pos that now worthless and will cost thousands to repair. Seem I’m not the only one to suffer the fate of the Q7. It’s a 2007 with 82k of mileage. Is this what Audi call Vorsprung Technik… What a load of crap!!!!

My car is black, super shiny and is an all wheel drive. Its fast and has a great stereo system. Leather seats are awesome. My favorite part is that the seats are heated. I also love the look of the cars logo. My car draws the attention of people quite often. The wheels look nice and sharp. I can always personalize my car. Id love to add turbo to make my car go super fast. I love racing others in my Audi. I can paint it if I wanted or add a better sunroof. I can fit all my friends inside. We all go on long rides. It never looks like a clown car. Theres plenty of space in the back and the front of the car. It has electronic seats to move forward and back if more room is needed. I love Audis!

I was sold an S4 Avant (V8) by Finchley Road Audi, UK, 31/8/2011. I paid 27,000 cash, it had a cracked grill, back window washer wiper did not work properly and 6 weeks later, I had put 4 new tires on it, had to pay for the grill to be fitted, parking sensors didnt work, got no history of the car for 3 months, I took it to Portsmouth Audi. They had to replace the back brakes as they were very dangerously low. Then on 9/3/2012, I get a letter telling me that Lombardi Finance owns my car. Ive never paid so much for a car in my life and have turned into a nightmare, worry and upset. All I want is a car without this bad salesmanship. Can you help me get my car replaced please?

I have a new 2017 Q7 Premium, 3500 miles. When pulling away from a stop sign or stop light, the engine pauses from time to time. So much so, that once in a while, it can be a safety hazard with oncoming traffic. Also, the GPS system works sometimes, and most of the time the routes are completely crazy, taking me 100s of miles out of the way of my destination. My car has been at the dealership for 5 days now, and they called yesterday to inform me that the pause is inherent to the vehicle, just get used to it! As for the GPS, corporate office knows it doesnt work, and they may or may not try and fix it?? So, this vehicle costs a pretty penny, but aint worth it. Im offering to leave it on their lot and walk away if I can have my money back??

I took my 2016 Red Audi A4 to Audi of South Atlanta in Union City Georgia on 12/12/2018 in the afternoon hours. I took it for the after coolant pump recall and to get a diagnostic as to why my reverse camera would intermittently work. I got there, dropped off the car, signed for my loaner car & acknowledged the 149$ diagnostic fee. Upon taking the trunk apart they came upon my wiring harness underneath the deck lid had been cut and taped back together possibly by a previous body shop that repaired the car after an accident back in 2016 when I got the car new. They were saying that over the course of two years and the wires being held back together by tape that they became loose. We then got State Farm involved and did a 3 way call with the dealership and they agreed to do another tear down at the cost of State Farm, as I had requested them not do any repair work as I would take it up with the previous body shop. But State Farm wanted to send an adjuster out to get an estimate of the damage. Hear nothing until 12-26-2018 When I got an email about the findings and if I wanted to do the repairs or not, and I did NOT respond to the email I instead asked Tim ** the service adviser why I was receiving the email and if it was just automated because the last communication I had during the 3 way call was that State Farm was paying for the repairs not me that I never wanted the work done if I was going to be responsible for the bill. He text me and said “Let me verify with State Farm that they are bringing a check by today or tomorrow”. 12-27-2018 I hear from Tim ** that State Farm is denying the repair and that the repair has already been completed because they sent him over the document containing the estimate he took that as approval for repairs is what he told me. I asked to see said document because I was not in any communication about the repair being done until after the fact. He texts on the same date how pissed he is because the State Farm claims adjuster would not allow him to speak to his supervisor and ask if I would call them the next day and allow a 3 way call with the supervisor of said claims agent “Carter”. Over the next business day when Tim ** realized that State Farm was not going to pay for repairs as they did not and have no right to do approve repairs to my car only I can approve said repairs and I NEVER approved ANY repairs!! So they start looking at me for the money, first telling me the cost of the repair telling me & the advisor at Audi of America that I need to pay it and go after my insurance company for reimbursement. Then when they realize I am not about to pay almost 2k for this repair they then tell me they could charge me the 725$ for the rental car which my agreement was for a “Loaner” car… A few days going back and forth with my local agent, this dealer, and the sheriffs department they then agree to release the car for a lowered amount of $500 and they put my broken part back in and keep their new part. I declined once again as the only thing I approved was a $149 diagnostic fee. I then call Audi Financial who I have the vehicle financed with and told them the story and they really weren’t much help. So after being threatened with the cost of the loaner Audi I decided to return it and get a few things out of my car since it was clear they were going to have it for quite some time. When they finally bring my car around for me to retrieve property out of they had in my front seat my LICENSE PLATE to take with me… talk about taking possession of something I have paid 27k for to this day… WOW! Then I start looking into legal options and possibly even just letting Audi reposes the vehicle as it was going on 3 weeks and no one wanted to help me when this dealer was Clearly STEALING MY CAR!!! I let it go for a week or two this new year as I was stressing way too much. Today on 01-21-2019 I call and speak with service manager Allen, I was being nice considering this dealer has done nothing but rob me for 4 weeks as I’m paying a car payment and insurance on a car they have. I ask if they would consider $350 instead of $500 like they had offered a few weeks back to just put this all behind us since they were in the wrong for doing repairs I never approved and he said no that is not what he and the service advisor offered me and that to take the car off the lot it would be the full $500. I said, Okay if you all want to continue being crooks I will find a way to get my car and he interrupts me and says that they are not crooks and if that is how I felt that I can pay the full invoice price and to not come up there to get the vehicle until I have all the money including the loaner car and hangs up!!! Here I am going out of my way to be the bigger person and Pay them money of any amount other than $149 and I get that type of attitude and yelling from a member or management?? I guess this is what to expect when owned by Buttler Automotive Group out of Macon Ga… Update to come when I retrieve my car.

My new car has 10,000 km. On a very cold morning this past January, my power steering malfunctioned while I was driving home. No steering is a very scary experience. Thank God I was not far from my home and could walk to my house. The steering column was changed. Two days later it happened again. This time I was told to let it warm up for 20 minutes and the power steering came back. Last Friday, it happened again but this time after idling for one and a half hours, I still had no steering. I am female and do not have the strength in my arms to steer without power steering. Apparently, this problem is common with S4 & SQ5, since 2014, when it is very cold. The steering column is being changed again. I called Audi Canada and was told that this problem is caused by extreme cold weather. The dealer told me to let it warm up for 30 minutes before driving it which makes no sense to me just to go to the corner store. I love my car but now feel very insecure when driving it. There is no recall for this part that keeps malfunctioning. If Audi sells cars in Quebec, then they should be reliable in cold weather. So much for their TV ad that boasts winter is Audi land!?!

Our family purchased a 2011 Audi A5 with 2.0 T engine. The Timing Chain (Tensioner) failed at 70,000 m. The engine head and pistons (predictably) are wrecked. The car was maintained according to the Audi schedule with the Dealer from whom we purchased the car. All the records are verified by the dealer. The standard warranty is 50,000 m. This engine/car has the Oil Consumption problem that precipitated the Class Action Suit. So, the car was used as designed, maintained as designed, - and it FAILED as designed! The failure is due to lack of lubrication of the Timing tensioner/chain. Something absolutely beyond the consumers control (beyond filling the engine as specified).4/5/15: The car is at the Dealership in Austin Texas - the Dealership says they have talked to Audi and both are trying to escape the manufacturers responsibility to fix the problem. It seems that the only (implied warranty) service to the customer that Audi will deliver is when threatened by a lawsuit (class action suit as prev). In summary: The engine was maintained as required; the car was used as designed; the consumer fulfilled all their responsibilities; the engine (built by a prior-respected engineering company) failed - beyond all control of the consumer within a small portion of the design life of the engine. How is it not Audis responsibility? Get decent Audi! Before another Class action suit gets kicked off.

Purchased a new 2018 Audi Q7 in Newton New Jersey. During an inspection at another Audi dealer discovered that the car had a previous issue and it had been repaired. This is a new car! The car had a short that melted the wiring and harness as well as hose and covers leading back to the alternator. The repair was not done to Audi Specifications nor was it noted in any service documents. This is a new car? What happened? Who fixed it? It looked like some backyard mechanic did the work. Why was it not noted in a service record and why was it not disclosed to me. We would never have purchased this car. The second Audi dealer was so concerned they took photos of the damage and forwarded them to Audi USA.In addition it has been 60 plus days and we have no license plates or registration for the vehicle. The temporary permit expired 3 days ago and the dealer has not sent the plates. The dealer sent us a letter to offer to the Police asking for them to be patient as our plates are delayed. Can you believe this? All this has been reported to Audi USA. We were told this would be taken care of and we would get a new vehicle. We were told not to drive the car as is. How could we as we have no plates? Forward 5 business days and still nothing. I have rented a car and have taken legal action and filed a complaint with the New Jersey Attorney General’s office. Audi Newton defrauded us and worse has not provided the required license or registration. Audi USA has done nothing to remedy this unbelievable experience and now we are forced to take legal action. A 60 thousand dollar car purchase that cannot be driven. Stay away from Audi and Audi Newton NJ USA.

After reading these stories, I had to write about my experience with a new 2014 leased Audi A5. About a month after I leased the car, it began to make a loud rattling noise every time I accelerated. I brought the car in 4 times over the last 3 months to try and resolve this issue. I have had a loaner vehicle for 21 days. I have been in constant contact with Audi USA customer service (800-822-2834) regarding this so that my file stays updated. After bringing it in for the third time, I requested that they replace the vehicle. They looked into it for me, told me to test drive cars that I would be willing to take in its place only to tell me a week later that my request was denied. At that time I had just picked up the car from its 4th trip to the dealership for service. Now I am going after them through an attorney that specializes in CA lemon law. Audi customer service is DISGUSTING. I get that a man made car can have issues but its how they handle it that is the problem. Do yourself a favor and give your money to BMW.

A very nice variety of models was represented with plenty of available information about each on the occasion of my purchase. The Audi has luxury features, gorgeous body styles. I was taken aback by the amount of quality variety I was exposed to. There is a decent amount of passenger capacity in these cars, but I wouldnt recommend it for families as it would be a bit cramped. For a couple or even a couple with a child, it would be perfect. While I didnt choose to apply any of these upgrade and personalization options, a great many of these were readily available at the time of my purchase. The only problem I encountered was being able to pick my favorite!

My purchase day was overshadowed by joy of buying a car, failing to see that Audi was not about the purchaser nor providing all 10s service. What has really maddened me today is I get a call I am thinking is a survey of my recent servicing, only to get hung up on, unable to express my concerns due to lack of professional communication. I thought I was saying yes to the rep saying all my information correctly. But after being hung up on, it left me wondering what was the call about. Not even a goodbye, thank you. Audi wants buyers to think they are for satisfaction but they only do things that is necessary just to say they have done it because they dont care if they have met the goal or provided customer satisfaction. I have been battling with them ever since my purchase but my concerns are not what they care to hear. I had to have a second delivery in which even direct, specified, unsatisfactory issues were not even addressed that I had pointed out in a written response. I wish I would have took my business elsewhere. Sometimes I wonder the true value of the whole deal.I wish there was another rep I could make a formal complaint to but I am going to keep long for that. It almost seems as if a $60,000 price means nothing to the dealer about committing to satisfaction. I have had a repair done and the console piece pop right off the next day, which clearly was not attached properly, only to have the same issue serviced again in less than 2 months. I see why people buy BMW and Mercedes. The service is better, the agreement is firm, and you are not judged. They make it known to please give us all 10s on the survey at Greensboro Audi but they are less than 6. I like my car but the way I feel about how they treat me, sometimes I just want to sell it back just to rid myself of the association with Audi.

I leased a car with Audi in Dec of 2015 and prepaid my taxes. In May of 2017, the car was stolen. There were injuries to the driver. Audi came back to me in 2019 trying to collect property taxes again. At no time did Audi attempt to make the situation better nor did they even discount the second lease. They also failed to turn in the car as stolen in 2017 with the assessment. And then they turned me over to a collection agency after coming forward two years later.

I have a 2015 Audi A3. I am the only owner of the car. It has 42k. Last week while driving to work, I felt a weird shake, at first I thought I had a flat tire. But I quickly realized that I wasnt that lucky. (insert sad face emoji here). The check engine and EPC (I may have those letters wrong) lights were on. Long story short the car was flatbed towed to the dealership. They gave me a loaner (Q3) and I was on my way. Later that day, they called and said my car had a bad fuel injector. They ordered the part and said my car would be repaired the next day. The next day, I was called and told that while replacing the fuel injector, they discovered that a piston had exploded! They called it a catastrophic engine failure. That is still a little hard to digest. Fortunately, my car is still under warranty. Audi is replacing my whole engine. I own another Audi and I am a fan of the brand. I will comment again when I get my car back, sometime this week. Hopefully, I will be happy.

Me and my wife own a 2014 Audi A6. Just pass 61000 miles. Last week I was driving the car and trying to make a left turn, the steering wheel get locked. Doesnt move the steering wheel left or right. Finally AAA took the car to the Audi dealership. Next day service advisor call me and tell me the steering wheel rock and pinion need to replace. The cost is $ 3500. I call Audi customer service, file a complaint, the lady told me she is going to review with the service dept. and let me know the updates. I wait for 6 days she never call me, I trying to reach her almost 6 times. Finally after 12 days she call me and tell me they cant help me this time. I dont know why she took that much time to say to me this answer. I never ever buy or lease another Audi, that for sure.

I have recently learned that the terms and conditions that I agreed to are in fact not what the contract that I signed represents. I am also very upset to learn that the market value that I was guaranteed was in fact false and was grossly overstated by at least $13,000. Even more so, I am upset by the fact that after consistently being assured and led to believe that a lease contract was far better to do instead of purchasing because I was getting a much better deal, this also has now been found to be false, and that the actual purchase price of the vehicle is an estimated $7,000 to $8,000 more than what I agreed, not to mention the fees that I paid upfront that were added back into the remaining amount due.I am bothered by the fact that Ashley with Audi Financial Services stated that she would have never agreed to sign a contract like the one that I was led to sign by the misrepresentation of facts. She also stated that the amount that was calculated for my 2010 A5 was more than what the normal payment should be. In referring to my contract and the terms, she stated that she had never seen one like this before. Jim, the manager at Audi Financial Services, stated that my true intent to purchase the car instead of leasing was evident by the fact that I made a down payment of $26,124.00. He also stated that he wished that there was something that he could do, but that his hands were tied. He advised me to contact Audi USA and/or the dealership to address modifying the contract terms and purchase price based on the information that had surfaced. Since the dealership has shown that deceptive and misleading actions were conducted in order to have me agree, I contacted Audi USA.Since then, I have been working with a representative named Rob. While he is nice and very apologetic, I feel that my efforts to work in good faith are potentially one-sided. This conclusion is based on my last conversation with Rob, in which I welcomed him to please pull the recorded conversations between Ashley, Jim, and myself to verify that Audi Financial Services agreed that my contract was written to be unfair to me. He stated that he did not think that it was possible for him to. He also stated that he would try to see what, if anything, could be done to modify my contract. I advised him that since my decision to enter into a contract with Audi of Columbia was based on misleading, false, and/or undisclosed information, if I would have been made aware of the true nature, costs, and terms of the contract, I would have never agreed to sign.Based on todays fair market value, Audi USA has been paid in full, but instead, I am being informed that I, in fact, owe an estimated $23,000 more, not including interest and finance charges. I am now being placed in a situation with Audi where I am being forced up against the wall to either agree to the grossly-inflated price, or watch Audi take possession of a car that is technically paid for due to the fact that my contract ends on 06/13/13.

Please be aware that Audi subcontracts out their Roadside Assistance. I was stranded for 2 hours with a flat tire. The Jack Rabbit company Audi uses accepted a call to assist me. I waited 2 hours. They did not show up. When I called to ask where they were they stated they do not change tires. No one called to let me know. Audi then called a different subcontracted company who sent a teenager who was unable to change my tire because he could not locate the wheel locks. He was never inserviced on its location.I had to call Audi back and after 3 hours they sent a flat bed to tow my car to Audi. I paid for this poor service for 3 years. They do not notify their customers that Roadside assistance is subcontracted out to multiple incompetent poorly inserviced vendors. In addition a Audi subcontracted company inspected my car at lease end. It received a score with no issues that I was responsible for. Within 48 hours I had 2 tires with nails in them. One had blown out while driving. Did they truly inspect the car thoroughly? I hope this helps all who read this and please do your own due diligence to verify their Roadside Assistance Protocols.

I purchased new Bridgestone tires which were put on my car, and the next few days I went to Audi to get their computerized alignment services. I waited there for 5-6 hours after I had a 9AM appointment. Alignments only take within 1 hour. The mechanic did the alignment then took the car for a test drive and the alignment was way out of alignment. HOW. Since this was a computerized alignment. And that was after 4 hours??? So it was pulled back into the shop and worked on for 1.5 more hours. Well they produced a computer sheet off the system showing the alignment completed. Totally suspect. Well that was April 2019 and then Covid hit and the car was barely used. In all, there was only about 7200 miles put on the car in 1+ years. Local distance only. SO, after a year I made an appointment to bring in the car for a front steering issue and told them to inspect the whole car. The mechanic doing the inspection made note that the rear tires were much lower treadwear than the fronts, and should be replaced. I said, Really? That is not good as this Audi dealership did the alignment for all 4 tires. The dealers service manager made a snide comment that who is driving the car? I said my wife who is 66 years old and drives locally only. He shut up. I then took the car to another mechanic who confirmed that the tires were unevenly wearing on the rear and did so in making them uneven as a pair. Thus the mechanic at Audi did not recognize the uneven wear. (Is he a mechanic??) Idiot as I see it. So I asked Audi to replace the rear tires and fix the alignment. They balked and said the amount of time made it not their problem. But the car only had 7200 miles on it since the alignment was done, and anyone knows that the malalignment takes time to show and the 7200 miles is about correct. I have other mechanics responses to this to show just that. So I bought new tires and had Firestone do the work with the guaranteed for life alignment, which they service at any time. They also gave me their details on the probably cause of the Audi service department. The Audi service totally screwed up. They are incompetent.

I leased an Audi A6 and turned it in one month early pull ahead lease for S5. Don’t get me wrong I love the actual car but the service has been a nightmare. Charging me so much money 5 months after I turned the car in. Trying to charge for excise tax that I paid but they applied to the actual car payments. In doing so when I did pull ahead deal instead of it looking like I had a car payment left it looked like I owed excise tax. After many calls and hours of my life I’ll never get back they acted like they figured it out. I made a pay off turn in settlement for the extra miles and thought it was over. Then I get a bill for excise tax in the mail. When I try to explain to the specific department they tell me they just received this bill from my city. I called the clerks office and they told me the excise tax for the A6 was sent in April 2018 and they are trying to make me pay it in April 2019. They lied over and over and after making the previous settlement and really still trying to collect excise tax I already paid them. Now I have to spend all kinds of time trying to get this dealt with, and no one will just make good on it. I was told BMW service is phenomenal... And I honestly wish I leased with someone else. Lesson learned... Never again.

My story is very similar to the one from Denise, Chatham, NJ. I therefore will not repeat all the problems I had with my Audi A4 2009. This is the short form. I owned 5 Audis. I have always been an avid fan. I purchased my latest A4 new in 2009. The car turned out to have one problem after another. In 2013, at 55,000 miles I brought the A4 to the Audi dealer gain. Flow Motor in Greensboro, NC. I told them that the oil consumption is way too high. (I have done so at all previous service visits.)Well in front of other customers I was told in a lengthy lecture that I was wrong. Topping of oil is quite normal, I was told. In fact I was treated like and idiot and so embarrassed that I dropped the subject. Instead of addressing my concern about the oil consumption the technician told me that I need a new manifold, new water pump and other items which were not covered by the warranty. Later I found out about the class action lawsuit and the fact that a lot of Audi owners had the same problem with excessive oil consumption. Brought the A4 back to have this oil leak fixed according to the class action lawsuit. Guess what? Now the technician thinks the oil is consumed by the turbo and this has to be fixed first, for about $ 2500 before he can work on the other oil leak. This just does not sound right. Again, I reported high oil consumption already in 2013, but was told this is normal. Now it is not normal anymore and a $ 2500 cost to me. My oil consumption was always the same from the first year to now about a quart per 400 miles. I do not trust the dealer nor the car anymore. My only desire is to get rid of it as fast as I can.

My 2010 Audis soft top started to leak this summer. It had just gone out of warranty. A top should not fail so soon for an expensive car like this. The best Audi will do is sell me the top at half off (only $2,000 plus labor). They are unwilling to stand behind their product and replace the top that obviously was poorly made. This will be my last Audi.

Evidently this problem is well known now and we are looking at an engine replacement as a result of a failed timing chain tensioner and the jumping of the chain. The class action lawsuit and settlement only entitled claims if made prior to Jan 25, 2019, which makes no sense given the issue continues to plaque owners of these vehicles. The treatment of this issue represents gross negligence by Audi. Why, in the case of the excessive oil consumption issue, will they pay $4k to execute a stage 2 overhaul of the engine and at the same time, with regard to catastrophic engine failure, not to the same next right thing?? This is really funny - we had the issue with the oil consumption fixed in the present failed engine. I wonder if well have the same issue with a new (used) engine with an updated tensioner and new chain?

My Audi A4 was well designed/attractive. It has a nice handling, smooth ride and black on black with black tinted windows. It also had a great black leather interior to match the slickness Of the black exterior. It is definitely a nice car and one of my absolute faves because it was very stylish, fresh, sleek and cool. It almost reminded me of a Batmobile because it was so nicely designed and had a lovely exterior. It was in the luxury world but not as expensive as a Benz or BMW. I loved the Audi A4 but wish it had more tech features. Also, it needed lots of repairs and had recalled items which was very annoying. So when it started to break down I was ready to get rid of it instead of pouring money into repairs.

2012 Audi S4 with NGY transmission (TSB issued by Audi). Vehicle has 69,000 miles. Driving in morning traffic and vehicle stops accelerating and all electronics go dead. Sitting in the middle of the freeway trying to get vehicle functioning. Restart it and vehicle flashes gearbox malfunction and stops accelerating about every mile. Not a fun experience on an LA freeway. Audi dealer says it needs a new transmission for $12,000. After the third call to Audi USA and being read the same canned speech the person tells me that it’s my problem and Audi will do nothing to help fix the car. I ask to speak to a manager and I’m told they do not participate in customer direct communications and they will not change the final decision. My conclusion is that Audi could care less about their customers and their cars are just plain junk. They look and drive nice but are complete electronic and mechanical disasters. This car and my 2012 A6 will be traded in and Audi can plan on me. Doing everything I can to spread the word about their poor customer service and poor quality.

We purchased an Audi Q7 with 92,000 km on it from Sydney. We looked at it on the 21st March 2012 and bought it for the price advertised on the 22nd March 2012 with no questions asked. We were offered 3 year new car warranty for $3,500, which we paid up with also no questions asked. On the 21st, we were asked to pick up the car at 10 am on the 22nd. We came at 10am and the car was not ready. We waited for 2 hours. There was a problem with the Audi but they didn’t tell us exactly what, they just said it’s not a big deal. The day before, we explained to them that the car must be ready at 10am as we were driving to Melbourne. We were then approached by a group manager who said that we can’t have the 3 year warranty, it was a mistake and that we can have a 2 year warranty for $2,600. We did not want to accept this. Finally, they agreed to give us as promised 3 year new car warranty for $3,500 but the lady that does that was away so they promised the next day I would get the paperwork for the warranty from Anna Marie. Of course, I never did. I called 3 times and finally got the paperwork but it was for the 2 years, which is not what was promised. Therefore, there was a lot of emailing back and forth. After 2 weeks of having the car, the seat broke and the buckle broke cup holders jammed. We did a diagnostic scan of the Audi computer which showed engine faults and other faults. Vince ** from Audi Alto NSW confirmed there is nothing wrong with the car. Since the car was under the 3 month warranty Audi Brighton (Melbourne) had to get approval from Audi NSW, which has taken 3 days and I still don’t have my car. A week ago when I went into Audi Brighton, someone looked at the car and noted all the problems and made me an appointment for a week’s time. At this point, that dealer knew that the car was from NSW and that it was under the 3 month warranty but they didn’t bother to contact anyone in the meantime. So on when I took my car in, they said it will take approx 5 hours and will call me when done but they realized that they need Audi NSW approval. 3 days has gone past and my car is sitting in Audi Brighton and they still haven’t touched it. Both the dealers are lying and making up excuses. I am fed up with this. I just want my car fixed as it hasn’t even been a full month. I don’t think that it was appropriate that Audi NSW sold me a faulty car or at least didn’t tell me about it. I have not yet experienced something as horrible as this. What can I do? What are my rights? This is just shocking.

On the 18th September 2011, I attended their showroom at Audi Centre Sydney and inspected the above vehicle. The following date on the 19th September 2011, I purchased the vehicle from them at a price of $28,000. I was never at any stage offered by the salesperson (George **) to test-drive the vehicle and was only told that Audi Centre Sydney had thoroughly checked the vehicle. After having taken delivery of the vehicle, I immediately noticed the Gearbox of the car had problems. Also, the brake was scratchy when I applied it.Two weeks later, I called Audi to have the vehicle looked at. One of their technicians drove the vehicle and agreed that there was a problem with the gearbox and the brake that would need couple days to rectify the problems. Upon consultations with **, Head of Service Department, my vehicle was booked in for the 14th November 2011 as a loan car became available then.On the 14th November 2011, I was given a loan car but returned it the very next day because the loan car carries a hefty $3,300 accident excess, which I found uncomfortable but on the same day, I was informed to pick up my vehicle as it required a new modified clutch to rectify the problem. However, the new modified clutch would not be available until the New Year 2012 and I was advised to contact him in January 2012.As requested, I made contact with ** in the first week of January 2012 only to be told that the new modified clutch had to be ordered from Germany first. Why wasnt the new modified clutch ordered sometime after the 14th November 2011? **, Head of Service Department informed me that the new modified clutch would be available in Australia by the middle of February 2012. Accordingly, the vehicle was booked in for the 28th of February 2012 to have the works completed to rectify the problem. However, on the 27th of February 2012, I received call from Ryan in the Service Department informing me that the new modified clutch had not yet arrived due to the new modified clutch has not been released yet and so the scheduled time of the 28th February 2012 was cancelled. In addition, they were not certain when the new modified clutch would arrive.I immediately called **, Head of Service Department, and was told that the new modified clutch may not be available until the end of March or early April with no certainty of the delivery date. In addition to this whole saga, I have been offered by **, Head of Sales Department to pay $5,000 for a replacement vehicle which I find totally unacceptable as I would not spend any more money on a product I do not have any confidence in or else wait for the new modified clutch seemingly indefinitely. As we are now in April 2012, nearly seven (7) months after having purchased this vehicle from Audi Centre Sydney at a price of $28,000, the present position is totally unacceptable. Having regarded to the fact it would seem that the vehicle was defective from the time of sale, the only satisfactory outcome to this drawn out frustrating period is that I return the vehicle to them and receive full refund of $28,000 that I paid for this faulty vehicle. If I have not received their immediate response within seven (7) days from this email to my satisfaction, I will lodge the matter with the Consumer, Trader and Tenancy Tribunal under the Motor Vehicle Division for their determination.

The Audi FSI engines are subject to heavy carbon build up so beware before buying one. My issue that I have beside the carbon build up is the timing chain. My 2007 4.2 Q7 jumps out of timing, causing the SUV to shake at idle speeds, misfire, and turns on the CEL light that makes you fail smog tests. At this time, Audi service center has had the SUV for about 4 -5 weeks and still cant fix the problem. The entire engine has to be dropped to service the 4 chains and chain tensioners, etc. The dealership avoided dropping the engine and we recently found out were trying troubleshooting by moving can adjuster to the another side of engine. They gave us a loaner to use but just want our SUV back and fixed to smog for DMV, then get rid off. The Audi dealership stated that they had to recently service 4 engines that had timing problems and think they will see more as the Q7s age with miles. I just want to know if anyone else has had the same problem with the timing on their Q7 3.0 or 4.2. If so, please contact me. Want to hear your problem and how it was resolved. My miles is about 74,000 miles. I think Audi will need recall or repair or class action suit is needed. 2014 is coming and the 2007-2009 will hit higher mileage and should all have problems with these thin timing chains.

My 2010 Audi Q5 3.2L has a carbon buildup problem that was covered under a 10 year, 120K mile extended warranty due to an Audi created defect. I was NEVER notified by Audi of this problem or the extended warranty. I started to get a CEL over a year ago and my local mechanic tried to resolve the problem multiple times, even replacing air flow parts but it never resolved. I paid the $180 at the Audi dealer to get a full diagnosis and they confirmed the carbon buildup problem. But they wont fix it because I confirmed this issue 2 MONTHS after the 10 year mark (and only 75K mileage) even though the problems started well before. The company has NO GOOD WILL and DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY. It will cost me over $2000 to clean the carbon out -- a known defect that Audi created and now WILL NOT MAKE GOOD ON. It is obvious that they created the problem but they even tried to blame my mechanic for the problem since they dont know what the mechanic might have done to my vehicle. GOOD JOB AUDI -- PASSING THE BLAME ONTO YOUR CUSTOMERS. BUYER BEWARE. I am disgusted at their lack of consideration.

The variety of its models and colors are elegant, contemporary, visually beautiful and versatile. It also has many advances in technology, ergonomic and safer. It stays at the forefront and allows me to update my equipment and accessories whenever I can with different options to meet my needs. Also, the passenger capacity is excellent. There is no discomfort and space is enough for both passengers and luggage. Everyone has their space to move and be comfortable.

As of 2020 this car is now 8 years old with 120K kms on it. In the last four years this car has had a number of issues that I have never experienced with much cheaper vehicles I previously owned. Lets see what went wrong... Ball bearings had to be replaced last year, both rear view mirrors -drivers and passengers sides have come unglued, now the coolant is leaking and the water pump needs to be replaced. The worst of all is that the car has been eating oil like crazy - needs to be topped off every 1000kms now - apparently it is due to the issue with the pistons on multiple vehicles but Audi is doing nothing about it. German engineering hasnt proven to be all that great. Sure the car feels nice to drive and handles well but considering the upper class it is not made well. Not buying another Audi again - the amount of issues and the cost of repairs are not worth the nicer interior and nicer handling than your average Mazda or Chevy.

I bought a ex demonstrator Audi A6. To be fair its a beautiful car in every way. Its the third Audi I have had after switching from BMW. My car broke down over three weeks ago and had to be recovered to an Audi dealer for diagnosis of fault. They told me a few days later that the battery had failed and that batteries for Audi Cars were on back order... We are into week 4 now and No sign of battery! The dealer eventually put me into a new Q5 but it simply is not the same car or of the standard that my car is but it has kept me on the road. Now you only find out how good a company is when they have to resolve a problem and Audi UK customer service is hit and miss, my first contact was excellent, but the second when I complained why my car was still not rectified could not give a hoot! In fact the belligerent attitude of the lady dealing with update was very dismissive. Someone employed by a top brand to help was totally unhelpful. Anyway the issue here is my car has been with Audi for over 4 weeks now and there is no end in sight, I feel sorry for the dealer as this is a AUDI UK problem and I hear that a bad batch of batteries might be the reason. So think on when you walk into the showroom and they are wow-ing you they are only as good as the time when they have to sort out a problem. I suppose the other side of this issue is that its made me look at another brand and I will test driving their car tomorrow and Audi will probably lose me and those I come into contact with...what a shame.

On March 17, 2012, I purchased a new 2012 Audi A7 from Fletcher Jones Audi in Chicago, Illinois. I live in Saint Louis Missouri. I had not seen the actual vehicle that I was purchasing because the dealership was going to ship the vehicle to me. While I was waiting on them to bring the vehicle from the garage, we completed all of the paperwork. When I finally saw the car, my husband, myself and two other people that were with us noticed all of the white spots/blotches all over the car. The car is black. The salesman assured me that by the time they shipped the car to me, they would have all of these paint issues corrected/removed. The sales contacted me on March 22 to inform me that the car was being delivered on Saturday, March 24. I asked him if all of the white spots had been removed from the car and he stated yes, that the car is in perfect condition. The truck driver delivered the vehicle to me on the morning of March 24th. Once the car was removed from the bed, both my husband and I immediately noticed that the same white spots where still all over the vehicle. We informed the driver and contacted the salesman on the spot while the truck driver was still there. The salesman, as well as his boss and the manager of the dealership all assured us that the issue would be handled and corrected and not to worry, that they would do whatever it took to get the paint problem corrected. The salesman stated that he looked the car completely over before putting it on the bed of the truck and that there were absolutely no spots on the vehicle. He said the transporter must have done something to the vehicle because it was in perfect condition when it left their dealership. For the next two weeks, my husband and I spent time calling and emailing the dealership to find out what they wanted us to do and how they were going to fix the problem. Finally, they instructed us to take the vehicle to a local Audi dealership here in Saint Louis. We made an appointment and took the vehicle to Plaza Audi. They looked at the vehicle and tried to do some minor corrections and that did not work, so they told us to bring it back another day so that they could keep it and do a completed detail and buff and try to buff the spots out. They kept my car for three days and when I picked it up, they informed me that they were not able to correct the issue and that we they would recommend we take the car to their auto body/collision center to see what they recommend. We made an appointment and took the car to Plaza Collision Center. They then completed an estimate of what the car would need to have done in order to get rid of the spots. They said that the spots were in the paint so the hood would need to be re-painted and the other areas of the car they could buff the spots out. They gave us everything in writing and told us to get with Fletcher Jones to see how they wanted to proceed. For the next month, we tried to contact Fletcher Jones and the service center guy at Plaza Audi told us that he had been trying to contact Fletcher Jones to see how they wanted to proceed. In the meantime, I went ahead and made Audi America (the parent company/owner of Audi) aware of the issue and got them involved. After Christine at Audi America made several phone calls to both dealerships and collision center, she instructed me to contact the collision center to set up a date for repair. When I contacted Ben at the collision center, he informed me that he was waiting to see how Fletcher Jones wanted to handle the payment of the repair. I waited about a week and still did not have a date for repair. Christine then contacted me back and told me that everything had been squared away and that I should take my vehicle to the Plaza Collision center on June 11, 2012. I took my vehicle in and the collision center told me that they would be done in 3-4 days. They gave me a Chrysler Caravan as a loaner vehicle. On June 14th, I contacted Plaza Collision to see if my vehicle was ready and they told me that it was not ready. Ben ** promised me that once I returned from vacation on June 23rd, my vehicle would be ready. On June 25, I contacted Ben and he told me that he did not know the status of my vehicle and that he would call me back. He never called me back. Finally on June 27th, he informed me that they had not even started on my vehicle. He told me that they had not done anything to my vehicle. I told him that I was coming to get my vehicle that same day. When I got my vehicle, my husband and I noticed that in addition to the white spots, I now have brown swirl burn marks on my hood from them using the machine and trying to buff the spots from my hood so much instead of just re-painting it. Christine contacted me to ask if my vehicle had been repaired to my satisfaction and I informed her of everything that had happened. She told me that she was going to escalate my issue to her boss because it had gotten to the point where I had been more than patient. A week later on July 5th, I was told that the collision center would not be able to repair my car until August 9th. I was told by Nick, who is the service manager at Plaza Audi, and Christine that I would bring my vehicle in and that I would be given an Audi loaner vehicle not a minivan. Audi also agreed to compensate me one notes car payment for all the time, headache, frustration, mental anguish, etc. that I had suffered during the last five months. I took my car in to the dealership this morning and was informed that they did not have any Audi loaner vehicles but they would deliver me an Audi loaner vehicle by the end of the day. At the end of the day on August 9, I am being told that they do not know when they will get an Audi loaner vehicle and that they will call me when they get one. I now have my car returned back to me and the repairs have still not been made.

My prepaid lease on my 2017 Audi A8L was expiring. I did not receive any communication from Audi Financial that I was welcome to lease another Audi. All that I received were emails and phone calls from Audis contractor wanting to inspect my vehicle before the lease expired. When I called my otherwise good local dealer for help/advice, I was told to call Audi Financial. There is no communication between Audi Financial and the dealer. I called Audi Financial about purchasing the A8L, and was promised a mailed package that I could complete. I never received the package. It became obvious that Audi did not want to take the effort to keep me as a customer. I sold the car to Carmax for a small profit, and bought a BMW 7 series. I will not buy another Audi.

But after weeks it came back again. We took it back and its been 3 weeks at Audi service. Hoping that they fixed the problem. My wife is not comfortable to turn the AC on because of the moldy smell. Anyone experienced with the same problem? U.S car products had corrected this problem with R134 by adding enhancement to dry out moisture build in to the condenser/air conditioning.

Purchased my car in 2012 with 45,000 miles on it. Immediately it started burning through a quart of oil every 5 weeks or so. I complained to the dealership. They said it was normal. I complained again. They said it was normal. I complained again. They said it was normal. I had to burrow myself so far up their ** for them to take a look at the car. They performed an oil consumption test which it failed. They said I had to replace the engine. Thankfully, I was 475 miles under the warranty expiration. From that point forward the car never worked properly. An ignition coil change, 3 issues regarding misfiring, repair work for several diagnostic codes. All in, on top of my $450 month payment & $6k deposit, I spent about an additional $10k repairing the car.Additionally Audi USA covered another $10k worth of work. Thats $20,000 worth of repair work over 4 years. A $1,000 bill every 10 weeks. At 130,000 miles I pulled into a parking lot, car was running fine (after a $1,300 repair bill the week before). I got out of the car and realized I forgot to grab something at another store. I immediately got back into the car and pushed the key in the ignition. It didnt start. Needed to have the car towed. The dealer tells me they have to rebuild the entire engine again.Audi USA called and left a message yesterday (Ive been without a car for 3 weeks now and had a loaner for all of 4 days) that the case has gone to the highest level and there is nothing they will do about it. They said if I have any questions I can call the case handlers direct number. Seems that direct number goes directly to a voicemail void that never gets checked because my phone calls have yet to be returned. Looking at the number of issues and similar complaints all over the web I am baffled that Audi refuses to take responsibility for their poor design and the numerous faults that continue to occur on this engine model.

We all know the Takata airbag recall is huge. But some manufacturers are getting it right, and some are not. AUDI IS NOT. They have limited cars affected by the recall compared to other manufacturers, but my car (2012 Q5) is affected. I called Audi several times and they are not offering any option to pay for a rental car or loaner call. I called the dealer too, but they wont do anything unless Audi pays. Audi told me to call the dealer and then the dealer told me to call Audi. I was just bounced around and around with no answers. My husband owns an Acura and the local dealer paid for his rental car for 2 months while he waited for the replacement part (which came this week). Audi is doing nothing, which I find unacceptable. They want the consumer to be stuck with the risk, which I also find unacceptable. All Audi car owners in this situation should put pressure on Audi to take the approach Acura/Honda is taking (and maybe other manufacturers, I am not sure who else). Based on the experience Ive had, I would never buy another Audi.

I took my car to the Audi dealership to get my window fixed and they actually caused 3 more things to break on the car and now I have to pay for it when the car is under warranty?? They put a faulty motor for my window which caused a short and now my xenon headlight is not working and they want me to pay for the headlight which they caused to break. Horrible experience with Audi service. Dealerships have incompetent and badly trained mechanics and customers need to pay for that. I will make sure I will disclose on every page I can to warn customers not to buy an Audi.

I drive a 2012 Audi TT RS. Life got in the way and the vehicle sat on my driveway (not running) for 540 days. During this time not a drop of water entered the vehicle cabin. BONE DRY!!! I finally got around to bringing the vehicle in for service. They replaced the battery, flushed the A/C, brakes and performed an oil change. They also performed an exterior and engine bay detail. Within 10 days the vehicle had 3 inches of water in the passenger side floor.I immediately called my dealership, Audi Sewell North Houston, and their response was, Oh, yeah I know what is going on. This is common on the Q5. Apparently there are two drain holes in the engine bay just below the windshield to allow water to drain out of the engine bay. These drains WERE NOW CLOGGED. The dealerships response was that they must have been clogged before. I find this assertion ludicrous as it SAT ON MY DRIVEWAY FOR 540 DAYS WITHOUT A DROP OF WATER IN IT!!!I took the issue to their GM, Jackson **, and he basically told me the exact same story I got from service. Which means he did no actual work and just regurgitated what he was told from service. I then took the issue to Jacquiline **, managing director, who did not get involved. I then took the issue to Audi of America who again repeated what the GM and service tech told me. So, I am stuck filing a claim with my insurance and having a vehicle with diminished value to flooding and both Sewell and Audi refuse to accept any responsibility. If you value your money I would stay as far away from both Sewell and Audi as possible.

I had the Audi A8 and was great but the differential is a little stiff. Handling could be better, especially on corners. Engines new power is perfect and the style of car is great. Vision wise is perfect, really no blind spot. Its a great looking sedan (shape wise) and interior is awesome and colorful. Seating is also great. It holds 5 people comfortable (3-back 2- front). Its very roomy if a taller person is in it. Roof of car or height of it is perfect too. Arm rest is very helpful and the ac vent in front and back are on par. The different upgrades in interior is a must and comes in handy on the color car you want. Safety is tip top. Fast stopping with disc brakes is on a dime and the power of the engine is always there if needed. The sport one is even more beautiful and more power, if youre looking for that go getter, but the A8 will not disappoint you. Audi came a long way from what it was before. It could be better but it is on the uprise and will keep rising. Just an all around perfect car.

I am not an Audi customer, but rather a former employee of one of their stores. The store I was working at engaged in shameful practices towards customers and had such a weak employee staff it was laughable. Half the sales staff were not properly trained while the other half were vicious sharks wanting to have any and all customers landed in their hands to ensue an aggressive close. In other words, while looking at the car a customer may be with a person who has almost no knowledge of the product, but when the time comes to discuss numbers an expert at digging in your budget is presented. If any type of issue would arise that was questionable, they were experts at rearranging the conversation to avoid answering questions or resolving the matter. Most of the barely trained sales team were not even able to pretend that they had any decent level of manners or education. Multiple customers would complain about this but it was never addressed properly or effectively. The cars themselves? Lets just say that more than 30% had issues immediately after the sale. It is really hard to sell a car that a customer brings back the next day for service.

The first years servicing was included in the price but we were still charged for it and only after 4 attempts was this resolved. I purchased a brand new 2010 A6 2.0 T in Oct. 2009. I have had the car since then and encountered some odd problems in the past 3 to 6 months. Initially, the car used to burn the engine oil faster than usual since I would have to top up the oil level almost every month, which I found really weird. A few months ago, the car started to basically shake when I would barely be driving at 80 km per hour. Upon taking the car to the service, I was informed that the solution would be to change the engine! After the engine was changed, the car was running OK until last week when I was driving. The steering wheel locked up and then the alternator fault light came on and it said battery not charged on the dashboard. I could have gotten into a terrible car accident and my life was put at risk but I was barely able to maneuver the car just in time to get it off the road. I am a very dissatisfied customer from Audi.

Ive been a customer of Audi for 5 yrs and I have to admit I do change them quite often (6 in the 5 yrs). I cash purchase. (I now know its a big no-no to buy cash!... but Id never had a problem before.)Heres just a little of whats been going on with my Audi A4...November 2012...We traveled to Audi in Carlisle and purchased an Audi A4 (61 plate ex demo) for $18,990.18th December, 2012... We had an egg smell coming from the vehicle, we called a local Audi and we were told that the car is new and the smell will disperse as the car is new and the parts sometimes burn off excess oil?23rd December, 2012... During a family day out with the children, we traveled down the A1 to see family and do some last minute Christmas shopping. The smell and heat coming from the vehicle was very apparent, but after a call to Audi, we were told to ignore it, so we did. On the return journey, the car started billowing black smoke, and the heat and smell were strong enough for us to have to pull over and require assistance from RAC/Audi Assistance... We were told that the car had a clutch failure and it had to go into Audi Teesside for repairs.**I required a courtesy car during this period and Audi Assist, who knew I had 3 children, issued me with a 2-seater Audi TT!? This scuppered nearly all of our family Christmas plans, but as my gran was over from Germany and I knew this may be the last Christmas I have with her, I was determined to get to were she was from Teesside. This was a mammoth task with a family of 5 and a 2-seater car. Two of the children nor myself got to see gran before she left, unfortunately (she passed 2 weeks later).**9th January, 2013... I received a call from Gemma ** in Audi customer services to say that my car was being delivered back to me today as it has been fixed. It had apparently needed a new clutch, which had now been done, and we were able to take it back. She had just been informed from the dealers (Teesside Audi) that the work was complete.9th January, 2013... My car was delivered back at lunchtime with an invoice stating that my car had been fitted with a new clutch, and oil had been topped up (under warranty work). So I decided to drive to my local Tesco with my little daughter. Within half a mile, I noticed the smell initially, and the heat followed. I spotted some light smoke coming from the bonnet so I pulled over. I decided to call Teesside and spoke to Mark, who had apparently carried out the work, and I told him what was happening to my car. He said the car is going through what is called a regeneration and I was to ignore it and keep driving. I also rung Gemma and she said he knows what hes talking about, and with a new part, sometimes they give off a smell and I was to do what he said...I drove another mile up the road when my car once again was smoking and other road users and bystanders where signalling for me to pull over... Completely frightened and not knowing what to do, I quickly pulled over, and as I left my vehicle, a fellow driver approached and said that looks dangerous and I was to stand back with the little one... I did so, and he and another man cautiously opened my bonnet. With that, a ball of black smoke and fire shot from the front of my car... I called RAC/Audi Assist who came to me at the roadside. It took him 90 minutes to arrive at the vehicle and he stated that he could smell my car more than 100 yards away. He wouldnt move it whilst the car was still so hot, so he left it to be later recovered by Ron Perry (a tow company)... I called Gemma to let her know and she told me it turned out that Mark in Teesside had not even repaired the car, and she felt awful that shed allowed me to take this vehicle back when they hadnt done anything to it by way of repair... Marks excuse was that he thought I was imagining it!? But he had provided us with an invoice to say these works had been carried out? Gemma said she wasnt happy with what had happened and she felt somewhat responsible, so she advised that I put a formal complaint in writing to the branch about this technician and she was doing the same on her end as she felt partly responsible, and that she was referring my case to the executive office. My car was taken to the Audi Tyneside garage where they discovered that the clutch was completely burnt out and desperately needed replacing. Richard from Tyneside said that if the car had been driven any further, it could of been much worse. (I have to add that Richard and Mark in Tyneside gave me a fantastic level of care and commitment I felt looked after whilst in there capable hands...)2nd February, 2013... I receive a call to say my car is repaired and it can be brought back to me. 8th February, 2013... The car breaks down, clutch slipped. 14th Feb, 2013... I get my car back, but during a road test, it fails and the clutch fails again.21st Feb, 2013... The clutch was replaced again, and once again, I am given my car back. We were away 25th Feb to 11th March, and upon returning, the car wouldnt start. Once again, the car is towed, and were told that the 2nd base plate on the clutch has corroded and it needs another new part (a base plate?) 26th March, 2013... We get our car back, and for the first week or so, it seems to be driving o.k.4th April, 2013... The car has started pulling to the left and the egg smell and smoke has returned, we call RAC and have it towed to a different garage (Harrogate). Maybe some fresh eyes will help and finally give us a car we can use. We receive a call to say that the vehicle may be pulling due to the tyres, so by replacing them, this may help the problem. We paid 500+VAT to have the tyres replaced, only to be told two days later that during further investigation its been found that the clutch has slipped again. We were also told that the new model of Audi has a larger gap for the clutch, but as Audis are using an older model of clutch, the clutch is able to move around and this is why it keeps slipping. A new part is ordered again to replace the small one.22nd April... My car is brought back. Im informed that they couldnt fit the new part as it didnt work. All they could do is tighten the clutch and hope for the best, but during towing it back to me, my car was damaged during transportation. The low load driver couldnt apologise enough for the damage, and after letting me see what had happened, he took it back away again to have the damage repaired... I was utterly devastated and slowly losing faith and patience.29th April 2013... The car is brought back with no damage and the drive of it seems ok.6th May... The car stalls and the smell is back. The car goes in to Harrogate which is were it is now... Ive told them Im fed up now. I spent nearly twenty thousand pounds (which I paid for in cash) for a car which is wholly unreliable. And as Ive been told on at least 5 occasions it is Not fit for purpose, I called Audi and asked what my next step is as I believe Ive given Audi more than ample opportunity to repair my vehicle, which still hasnt happened. I have done everything Audi has asked of me and some and now I cant take anymore. I cant continue to put my children into something that I dont trust and is so unreliable. On the 9th of May, I wrote a letter of rejection for the vehicle to Audi UK and a copy went to the garage I purchased it from. I dont feel Im getting any further forward so Trading Standards Tanvir has requested that he take over this whole case. Hes advising I go to the press and sue for negligence, but this is not really my thing. I just want what I paid for - a prestige car from a prestige company, and as a loyal Audi customer for over 5 years, I dont want to go down this route.Last month, I contacted Martin Winterkorns P.A., who gave me Verena ** (VWG M.D- P.A) contact details name and number, and she said they will be able to help, which wasnt the case. They are now basically saying that if I remove my complaint against the technician, they will help; otherwise, pay for further work myself... The whole thing got passed over to Lee **, an Audi exec, and he is a complete plank who doesnt care about customers... service... duty of care, so Ive sent everything over to Motor Codes and theyre investigating.Sorry, its so long-winded, but I wanted to get all the details in. Does anyone know if theres anything else I can do? Thanks, guys.

I purchased Q7 4.2 2007 in 2006. It was one of the first 1000 made worldwide and I received complimentary maintenance service up to 50K miles. Zoltan ** at Seattle University Audi was very good. So good, we bought another car from him later. :-) I have now (2014) 86K miles on it. I have had some small issues like broken window screen on the left side and stuck screen on the right (so far I have not fixed any). Cracked and eventually separated air filter housing intake (I have used Gorilla tape for that). I have changed brake pads, spark plugs, battery, some light bulbs. All by myself. No major issues. This car is very well made and I am very happy with it. Its heavy on gas, but I already knew that when I bought it. All fluids are done on time, most of the time at Audi dealer. It burns oil, but thats nothing new. Considering mileage, I have not had any serious problems. I am going to keep driving it and see how much longer it will last. Hoping for 300K.

2011 Audi Q5 - Really disappointed with this car. The oil consumption is crazy and because I started to have issues with the consumption after 2015 but even though the class action lawsuit was settled, I am now not qualified to get my oil issue fixed because I am past the date and the mileage is over 80,000. Really disappointed that Audi is handling these cases so poorly even though it is clearly their manufacturing error! Horrible customer service.

Audi a5 from 2008 - 2 days before holiday on 26.04.14 the window cable mechanism breakdown, cost 225 for the part only+ labor cost 3h. On the 4th of May 2014 on our way to Venice, it was raining, a skylight take place, our central console dead (navigation, radio, media, no oil check, completely dead). Went to audi dealer in Venice, paid 80 euros to check the BUS Interface. The part need to be replace, 330 euro for the part + 120 euro labor cost, as is a UK car they need to order the part from UK. After 3 days in Venice we decide to buy a GPS for 150 euros and continue our holiday (Italian audi dealer check and top up our oil Castrol edge 5-30W ONLY SINCE the car was new 1500 km). Later on the 10th of May 2014 we arrive in a nice city call Brasov in Romania and the engine stop with no engine sign on. We call a service. They come to investigate our case and surprise they check the (ENGINE 135000 miles) timing chain and the top (plastic) tensioner. It was broken into pieces damage @ few 3000 TBC. We left the car in Romania and return to Jersey Channel islands UK by plane. The conclusion is the audi company diminish our entire holiday + 4500 into parts and labor cost. We plan to pay a visit to our insurer as we have full comprehensive insurance on the car + travel insurance, hoping they will do something for us as the car is not in the warranty anymore..... So the conclusion is what can get any WORSE than buy and drive an AUDI on a peaceful holiday .... WHERE IS THE GERMAN QUALITY????? It never been probably.

I am driving an Audi in Hong Kong. I had some paperwork problems with my car and had to contact Audi to get the needed document. The staff is genuinely uninterested and referred me to a automobile association alleging that only the association can get the document for me. So I called the association who explained patiently that the certificate should be issued by Audi the manufacturer, which makes sense. So I called the dealer in Hong Kong again and that staff gave me the same answer, utterly uninterested, and offered no solution to me at all. I dont expect that the dealer can solve my problem quickly and once and for all but at least they can appear to be more helpful. For Audi which aspires to be a top brand in the world, they should be more careful in engaging local dealers. Some are totally unprofessional and may just ruin their reputation. In my case, I will NEVER buy another Audi (because I am terribly pissed off).

I purchased my 2012 Audi TT used with approximately 7,000 miles on it. I drive the car regularly without any issue and am currently at 38,000 miles. One day the car stopped operating properly and was towed to the Sewickley Audi Dealership, a certified Audi Dealership. After various diagnosis, the service department contacted me to inform me that the car will need an entirely new engine! I was shocked. Although the car was a 2012, the mileage was relatively low for needing an entire new engine. A car should not age because an owner did not drive it year round (which is likely what the original owner did).Audi USA and the dealership offered to covered 75% of the cost of the new engine and the repair because the warranty had expired 1.5 months ago. I was very disappointed in this. I still cannot believe that a car with 38,000 miles could possibly need a new engine. With no other option, I paid for 25% of the repair at $2,500. I will never buy another Audi.

We had a horrible experience with the Q7 TDI Diesel Buyback program (2012 Audi). The process was long, hard to figure out and not very customer service friendly. I felt I was treated like I did something wrong. All I did was buy a Turbo Diesel Audi. My family of 4 were left without a car for 3 days, before we had our buyback money to buy a new car as we only have 1 for all of us. Everyone was rude to deal with. When you spend this amount of money on a car you expect a certain level of customer service, we did not get treated well. I would not recommend Audi to anyone I know. And I will not buy another Audi.

I have a 2015 Audi A5, with 26400 miles on it. I purchased the car with 11,000 miles on it in April. I began experiencing a LOUD brake squeaking 2 weeks ago. It squeaks when I lightly apply the brakes. The service department at Audi told me that the brake pads only had 10% wear so its Not the Pads. They then told me that I would need to drive about 60 mph or FASTER, then apply the brakes... I am NOT going to try this dangerous and potentially deadly act.I think that there is a design issue that must be addressed. I have owned probably 12 cars in my life and NEVER has this happened with no answer. The lemon law in Illinois is quite clear and I actually received a new car because of this law. I am sure there are other owners that has the same issues... We must start writing to Audi and people who can help... This must get resolved. Im ready to drive the car to the dealer and leave it there until its resolved. I know that this is a non warranty issue but there is an obvious defect.

This brand offers a whole assortment of different models. Absolutely everyone needs to purchase one. These cars have very distinct and beautiful features, new models include touch screens and awesome radio, beautiful leather seats, and the engine is wonderful. The car is beautiful on the outside too. There are lots of different upgrades and personalization. Some of the upgrades would include a touch screen, an awesome radio system, upgrade to leather seats and touch screen radio system, upgrades the engine. Also the passenger capacity is awesome, for a sporty car, this thing is just so great. You can fit you and your neighbors family in this thing. You would think that there would not be too much room because of the sportiness but there sure is.

We own an Audi A4, and loving it. The car was serviced regularly at Pacific Audi. The only problem we experienced was with the oil consumption, it took up oil like we have never seen in any car before. We complained a few times before warranty was up, but nothing was done. When we elevate our complaint (after warranty period), this is what Pacific Audi Svc folks told us because we waited too long, i.e. post warranty period, it will cost $500+ to do the oil consumption test, and if our car needs to have the piston replaced it will cost about $10K - $15K. We were livid. We took the car to Long Beach AUDI for 2nd option again. Our Audi A4 is a great car, handling is great. We are actually considering another Audi. We will NEVER return to PACIFIC AUDI again to buy or to have our car serviced. They always tried to gauge us. There was always a problem, if not one thing its another. We had to bring it to our mechanic for a 2nd opinion because we dont trust them, this time we took it to Long Beach AUDI. Read more if you want to know how much Long Beach AUDI charged us to fix the oil problem.

Im leasing an A4 and paid for a portion of the 36 month lease up front. In April 2017, I asked for a letter stating the current balance of the lease payments. I was sent a letter stating that I owe about $3400. I made a payment of $2400 and common sense dictates that the remaining balance would be $1000. But when I followed up in May 2017 (one month later), Audi said the remaining balance was actually $1300 after the $2400 posted. They raised the balance by $300 and nobody can explain why. Every time I call to inquire, Im placed on long holds and then hung up on. A supervisor finally reached out to me and said that he has no idea why there is this discrepancy but I owe $1300. No explanation or attempt to come to a solution. After I pushed, he hung up the phone as well.Obviously theyve made a mistake somewhere but nobody wants to figure it out. Now I dont know how much I owe and if the balance will continue rising with each payment instead of dropping. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Stick to BMW. I purchased a 2016 CPO Audi from Audi of Naples. There was no mention of a “DEDUCTIBLE” every time you need to use the CPO warranty. I was given no paperwork as to the fact there is a deductible on the CPO warranty. I just took my vehicle in as the air conditioner was not cooling. Since it was 2,000 miles past factory warranty the CPO warranty was applied. I asked if there would be any charge and was told that there would not be a charge as it was all covered under CPO. I was even called the next day and told that the good news was everything was covered by the CPO and I would owe nothing. When I went to pick up the car I was presented a bill for $85.00. I was told there was no charge for the warranty work but they were required to collect an $85 deductible for Audi. I argued with them and finally had to pay it to get my car released. I filed a complaint with Audi and after a week and a half they just called and said there was nothing they could do and I would be responsible for the $85 deductible every time it needed warranty work. I would never even consider buying another Audi and will be glad to warn others. I have owned many Mercedes Benz and have never had an issue with their CPO. Ive purchased a brand new 2013 Audi S5 Cabriolet and took delivery from dealership in middle of 2012 with 4 years/50k warranty. 22 months into the ownership (at 9,500 driven miles) car started to pull to the side and required a wheel alignment at a cost of over $550. I was told that although the mileage was low, this wheel alignment is considered normal wear and tear. Although I strongly disagreed, I ended-up paying for it. Last week while driving, my front left tire completely deflated. After removing the tire in order to replace it with a spare I noticed that the inner part of rubber is showing steal metal belts. Next day I took the car to dealership and was told that:a) Car needs another wheel alignment (it currently has 19,300 miles on it). b) All 4 tires are under 3/32 (as measured by Audi Service Consultant) and need replacement even though they are rated for 50k. Since the car is still under warranty and since this is very odd that another alignments is needed and that I also now need to replace 50k rated tires on a car with 19,300 miles on it I called Audi Corporate office and opened a Case # ** with request for FULL reimbursement of expenses.Unfortunately Audi decided to decline my request, citing wear and tear. Im beyond of being disappointed and strongly disagree that this is normal wear and tear. After consulting with my legal counselor who has advised me that I have over 90% chance of successfully getting Audi to reimburse me for wheel alignment and tires and therefore, in addition to filing this complaint with bbb.org I will also be taking Audi to Small Claims court and will publish verdict with details of the case on as many blog sites as I can find. After all Im certain that Im not the only customer with similar problem and will make other consumers aware of possible issues/pitfalls they may be facing if they buy an Audi! Lack of responsibility by Audi after selling a luxury and expensive automobile in unacceptable and will not go unchallenged.

I really liked this car until something bad happened. One of the nice features of the Q7, or most any other high end SUV is the ground radar which helps you park and warns you of objects in the road. This is especially important in a large SUV where you have limited visibility. But this feature did not work on my new 2017 Audi Q7. While parking, I ran over an object that sliced open the oil pan. It looked like someone had taken a knife to a cheap aluminum beer can. I thought how could an SUV have such a cheaply made oil pan? I know one doesnt take a Q7 off-roading every day, but youd think you could do it every once in a while, no?Then more bad news when the Audi shop told me that I had to also replace the oil pump. I was stunned by this as the oil pump is up high and wasnt touched at all in this incident. I have asked and still do not have an adequate response from anyone at Audi. Does one have to replace the oil pump anytime the pan is removed?Next problem was that as I had no idea the oil pan was sliced open, I drove less than a mile back home without any oil in the engine. At first there was the typical light on the dashboard indicating that I should replace the oil. I thought that was strange with a new car but I was almost home so I continued. Then just when I was turning the last corner a larger warning came on to say that I should shut the car off as it was out of oil. Which I did seconds later. But now I am concerned that the motor is damaged and the warranty violated.Anyhow, now I have to pay a couple thousand bucks to get my new Q7 back on the road, not to mention my concern over the health of the engine in the future. I think I should junk the car, but I paid an awful lot of money for it. This whole thing is partially my fault for running over the object, but I really think that Audi oversold the intelligence and robustness of their new Q7.
