In the past, I have owned two Nissan cars, a 1992 Sentra and a 2004 Murano, both paid in full. Well, in 2012, the transfer case/transmission went out on my Murano and the cost to get it repaired was going to be over $3,500 plus labor. Because of lack of income and I just started to work as a caretaker, I could not afford to get it repaired at that time (I loved my Murano). I had to check online and found there are so many people that had problems with the transfer case on their Murano (I do not know why Nissan has never done a recall). Since October 2012, I have been renting a car at Enterprise, which I was paying over $1,081.00 a month. So if you do the math, I have been giving Enterprise, over $8,600 for the last 8 months. So, I had been praying about what to do and since I was paying this money every month, I thought I would try to go to Nissan dealership in Victorville, California to see if they would help me get a used car. I was looking around and a salesperson asked me if I needed any help, I told him that I was looking for a used car. I explained to him my financial situation and what was going on with credit. He went and got another salesperson; they went and got a sales manager and they did the numbers. I told them that I could afford to pay $400.00 a month. Next thing I was told go and test drive a 2013 Nissan Sentra. I told them that I did not want to have very high payments. Well, I was told that my payments would be around $400 plus a month. When we got back from test driving, the salesperson told me the black Sentra which was on the show floor would be the car that I would drive off with. I told them that my credit was not good, but they told me that I did not have to worry about anything. So, on May 10, 2013, I drove off in a brand new car from Valley Hi Nissan in Victorville. Well, to my nightmare; on June 14, 2013 I received a call from Mr. George ** one of the finance managers. Nissan had denied my loan because I could not show even funds in my bank account. I told him that if Nissan would have looked at my statements carefully, they would have seen that all my funds were going to Enterprise every week to cover for the car I was renting from them. I told them that if they did the numbers, they would see how much I was spending every week. Mr. ** told me that Nissan did not care about me renting a car; they wanted to see the funds in the account. I told him, How can I keep the funds in the account, if I am renting every week? He told me to bring the car back to the dealership in Victorville. I am very upset with this whole situation because Nissan never gave me an opportunity to even make one payment. I understand that I have had some credit issues, which is not Nissan and the banks problem, but how many people in America are having problems with their credit? I am very upset with the people at the dealership, because now they are saying, Well, we did all we could do. You know, if we mess up how credit scores, the bank and finance companies will hold our past over our heads until we die, and sometimes they hold the past still against who have died. All I wanted them to do is to at least give me a chance to make the payments. So now, here I am back to renting a car so I can get to work, and the dealership has their car which now is a used car. So who wins? I just thank GOD that he does hold our past against us for life.

Where do I start. Went to buy a car and the one sales person told different prices. The service department wanted to charge $10,000 for repairs. Went and got a second opinion and it cost $272 to repair the issue. Then presented the information to the dealership service dept and they still held true that the engine needed to be replaced. So this is a buyer beware and service beware. I also witnessed them not wanting to replace a recalled piece on another persons car. Location is Classic Nissan of Newport News in VA.

I have had a Nissan Leaf for about 18 months. From the beginning, I thought that the brakes were not right (they are computer-controlled brakes). They would slip for about 1/2 second when I pressed them or sometimes during use. About 12 days ago, the car would not start and the computer told me that my foot was not on the brake, but it was! The computer could not sense that my foot was trying to press the brake (remember that the brakes are computer assisted). I took the car into the dealership and they have had it for 12 days, and still they and Nissan USA have no idea what the problem is. They have tried rebooting the computer but it still does not work. This is an obvious safety issue (brakes not working) and inconvenience (not being able to start or use the car), and it seems like the local Nissan dealership and Nissan USA cannot work together to get this resolved!

I found the recall and the campaign on the highway safety commissions website for the 2005 Nissan Armada fuel sending units. On 11/7/2014 my husband was driving my 2005 Nissan Armada at 3 AM on the busy 5 Lane Highway in Washington state at 65 mph. My SUV came to a abrupt stop in the middle of the highway. It would not turn over to start. The hazard lights would not come on. The state police put out 15 road flares and still they were both almost hit by three trucks and two cars. My Armada showed I had a quarter of a tank of gas. I had to have my sub towed to Campbell Nelson Nissan dealership in Edmonds Washington. Robert, the service manager called and advised me that the fuel sending unit was bad. It shows I have a quarter of a tank but I was really out of gas. John, the manager told me thats what he suspected was wrong with my SUV. John also advised me that there was a warranty on the fuel sending unit but it was only for 72,000 miles but at the least I feel that I should not get stuck with the bill because I bought the car used and had no clue that they had this issue or that it would almost cause the life of my husband or an innocent state trooper. I feel Nissan should open the recall and extend the warranty for the 2005 Nissan Armada fuel sending units. I know only certain 2005 models were in the campaign and recalled but this is what was wrong with my Armada the same thing Nissan campaign for. I want Nissan to cover the bill. Its an unsafe issue and if you guys do not reopen this recall Nissan is going to get somebody killed. If I have to take it to my Lawyer then so be it.

On Sept. 24 2014 I bought a NISSAN ROUGE SV color metallic blue. Around 2015-2016 I noticed small paint chipping off on the hood, front bumpers and I thought it was normal so I bought a touch-up kit paint now just about every day I have paint chipping off and to me looks like a cheap one coat paint by NISSAN CORPORATION. I filed a complaint with the Broward General Attorney under the protection of LEMON LAW in Florida. I paid $29300.00 brand new and is being kept in my home garage.

First, I couldnt get my refund for almost one month. I called several times, and each time I have been told that it will take just 4-5 days to get the refill. On October 24th , I called and asked them to send me a statement that I can pay my bill in November. Guess what? Today is November the 21st, and I still have not gotten the statement. I spoke to three people and all of them are saying, that they sent the statement. I get my mail from my credit card company, and from other departments , but not from Nissan? My payment due is today! If I pay by phone, I have to pay for this, they told me. Anyway, it seems like people at Nissan do not know how to manage their business. Even managers!

Leased a 2015 Nissan Altima that broke down with 4k miles on a day after it was at Legacy Nissan Service Department. I came to learn that the Gasket leaked, which made no sense at all. Then the manager informed me that basically the technician screwed up during the oil change and didnt do something right, which led all the engine oil to drop back out of the car. I am trying to have them replace the vehicle as it is fairly new but they are refusing to offer any solution or step up to the fault.

Called Nissan customer affairs talked to a Trey. No help... Asked to talked to his supervisor then talked to a Alica (not sure on name). Voiced my disconcern with my customer service at a dealership. Asked for Alica for a email with her name and my case number. Said she would. Well she had Trey call me back then he said he would. Keep in mind they dont have employee ID numbers and cant use last names. They work in your Tennessee office. Neither one of Nissan customer affair case workers could send me a simple email. All they wanted to do was close the case which I had to call and have re-opened 1st time. Basically its waste of time to complain to them. Almost sure nothing was done or will be done. Best they could with all their experience suggest a I get a second opinion... I felt like the dealership was being shady.

Id rather let my credit go to the toilet and file bankruptcy than to EVER dip business with Nissan again. They let dealerships lie and just say whatever simply to get you into a car, then they offer no resolution about fixing the lie. When you call customer service they treat you like a scolded kid, and offer no respect or empathy whatsoever. Its ridiculous and absurd that we are treated such a way when you spend so money on something that is so vital. The air circulation is a joke. It only reaches the front seats and the people in the back get no air flow whatsoever. This was an issue in the first vehicle, and I was promised the new vehicle was so much better and redesigned, but honestly this car is bigger so its worse. They did not have a manual transmission which I wanted but they tried to convince me that the automatic is again redesigned and so much more efficient and yet not only have I lost about 6mpg, the car is constantly revving over 4rpm even when Im barely on the gas. They will say anything just to get you in the car and all they care about is the initial sale. After that they could care less about you or your business.

Went to a local Nissan to buy a car. The salesman went out of his way to help me. I told them upfront that I had a bankruptcy on my credit report. Was told no problem. They wanted to put me in a 2016 Sentra. We finally agreed on the price, and I had a co-signer with a very high credit score that was going to sign for me. On the phone was told there would be no problem that payments would be where I wanted them. Left work early again for the second time thinking I was going to walk away with a car. When salesman came out I could tell something was wrong. He told me that they could not get Nissan Financial to move one bit. If that is way the financial dept is going to be they need to remove bankruptcy ok from the Nissan ad. Walked away devastated with the financial dept of Nissan, so now Im taking my business somewhere else. They lost a sale on this one.

I purchased a 2015 Nissan Rogue in January. This summer when I traveled a period of time (about 45 mins.) the a/c would stop cooling. After having it checked by my dealer/service I was told thats normal since it is how the car gets better mpg. The only way I can keep cool on long drives is to turn off the a/c when it stops cooling, wait a period of time and let the a/c reset then turn the a/c back on. This in my opinion is a very poor design and should be redesigned.

This is Surya. Experienced Nissan Versa for the first time and it was an horrible situation to drive on the interstate which is very uncomfortable. The pick up is not good and the transmission is BAD that you can feel like jumping when gears changes even though its a automatic transmission. If you are driving in a hot sunny day forget about air conditioning, because it doesnt work even if you switch to high mode. Finally I had a real bad experience in Nissan Versa because of Hertz (Car Rental).

I needed a part for my Nissan Versa that was on national back order. For almost 3 weeks West Hills Nissan in Moon Township, PA and Nissan North America treated my problem with no care and refused to give me a used car or a rental car. After talking to about a half dozen people and complaining they got some guy named Angelo from Nissan Corporate to help me. He told me Nissan parts often go on national back order and this was a common thing. He said it was too bad I didnt rent a car because he would have reimbursed me - although I was told they wouldnt when this nightmare started. I have a 2012 Rogue which I got brand new from a Nissan dealership in Virginia. I now live in California. Have 80K miles on it. 4 years and 2 months later, one minor part, and TWO major parts had to be replaced: the Mass Air Flow Sensor, the Torque converter, and the air-conditioning compressor, the last two breaking down at the same time. NISSAN wouldnt refund the repairs because they say the job was not done by their certified NISSAN dealer mechanic, who, by the way, couldnt figure out the first time that all they needed replaced was the Mass Air Flow Sensor, and some other part, which their expert they flew in to California from somewhere had to figure out for them. Its out of the Lemon Law period, by the way. I will not recommend ANY Nissan to my worst enemy.

I have been a customer with Nissan Finance since May 2015. I never had an issue with them. I decided to trade my 2015 for a 2018 this past April. I paid $2500 down (which I did have to do in 2015) and my payments went up. However back in July, I ran into some financial difficulties and communicated that with them in able to get a payment extension which they declined. I made payments which weren’t the full amount and kept communicating with them for an extension.I owed them about 2 months and made a payment on 9/1/2018. They reposted my car on 10/12/2018 and are not allowing me to pay the past due. They want me to pay the full balance of the loan which is unheard off. If I’ve been requesting an extension for 2 months, how would I be able to pay off the entire loan in one day on a 72 months loan. They are not in the business of keeping customers in their vehicle. I will be filing a lawsuit against them and American Repossession. I reside in a gated community with Security at a guard gate. No towing truck is allowed in our complex with Security Knowledge or Resident Approval. They illegally gained access to our community.

I purchased a pre-owned certified 2013 Nissan Pathfinder about 1.5 years ago and it was a terrible purchase. I have spent a few thousands of dollars on this car on top of having purchased an extended warranty. There were at least two recalls on this car that were addressed after I purchased the car, two window motor failures within the first year, the compressor from the AC is in the process of being replaced. I will say that these repairs were covered; however, I have had to pay a few thousands for items that were considered normal wear and tear which some items I didnt expect to have to cover so soon after purchasing the car and considering it was a certified car. Overall, I am so disappointed in my purchase and I do not plan on owning another Nissan car again.

We ended our lease with Nissan through NMAC and had a balance due on our mileage. When we turned it in we bought TWO NEW ROGUES. Since we send monthly payments toward the balance on the lease instead of paying it all at once, they notified the credit bureau saying we did not pay the balance! We are paying them for three cars! Also, when we bought the cars they did not clean them meaning there is residue on the windows where the stickers were. Not even one follow up call, no notices for check ups. I worked for a Nissan Dealer for 3 weeks, so I could find out why the cars had lost the great reputation of the 280ZX, and why most people hated the dealers. I sold my shop and moved to Florida to find out what was the problem. They only paid 30% of the labor fee to a mechanic if it is warranty. If it was warranty work and good mechanics did it, they would have quit if it was warranty. Mostly new bad mechanics, with no customers, got the warranty work and oil changes. They would change the oil with recycled oil on hot motors, thus spilling it all over the trans, causing warranty work for leaks all over. They paid me $75.00 to replace a rear main engine seal that was dry as a bone, oil was all over the trans, because of boys changing oil. I only use Fully Synthetic German 20w 60w LIQUI MOLY oil. Back in 2000 a cheap $20.00 oil change at Nissan was recycled oils, garbage. They did not care about customers. I still hear from my customers back home in Louisville and they miss me. I took good care of them from a wreck to a clutch, and when the Dealer told them they could not fix it, I had like new used parts and would have it going in one date with a year or more warranty for 1/5th the cost. I drive a Lincoln Towncar now and a BMW Z4, cause BMW charges much more, not a better vehicle, 240Z easiest car to work on.

I leased a 2016 Nissan Maxima the day after I came back from my deployment training. I had great experience with Nissan of Omaha and had Altima before. Had some issues but they were taken care of before. Based on that, I leased a Maxima. Soon after driving the car, I had issue with the front collision sensor that keeps on showing up on dash. The error read as sensor blocked. Took it to the dealer and was told to take vehicle on side of street and clean the sensor and keep driving. One month later, on a road trip to Kansas had the same issue. Pulled on side of road and front bumper scraped a rock. So took it to dealer and was told that sensor is damaged will be replaced however, I need to take car to body shop and replace the bumper myself before I can ever proceed. Brand new car, 2 months old and has a broken sensor. Since I am on a lease, I cant get out but I will not recommend Nissan to anyone.

I purchased Nissan Murano from West Hills Nissan 2 years ago. Had no problem with them, treated me fairly, and I liked the car. Few weeks ago received a brochure from West Hills, offering me new car with lower monthly payment, so I went there, showed me Nissan Maxima and asking me $525 a month to lease. Told them it is expensive and they said ok. Few days later received a call from Kenny ** Nissan in Cranberry, PA and offering me a good deal. Told them the story about West Hills that I could not afford it, was told not to worry and they have many cars in their lot and I could get a deal. Called me few more times, so I agreed to go and see what kind of deal they got. I went with my son and we got there before noon. That was my biggest mistake to go there. 1st said $509 but I told them it is too high for me. I swear I tried to leave many times but they were keep asking me to wait to see what they can do for me. I was tired, my son was tired, but they didnt let us leave. It was late evening and we were still asked to stay. They had my Murano and because Murano was in excellent condition, they wanted to trade. By late evening the manager took me to Maxima in the showroom and reach out his hand to shake my hand and said he made mistake that $509 was for different color not for black one and asked me to shake his hand for $528 and he started shaking my hand. It is hard to believe but that is exactly what happened. They knew what type people we are, obviously not a smart one, who would pay $528 for Maxima for 3 years lease. They treated us like an idiot, took us to a room and said you have won something and asked us to pick a card from the board hanging on the wall to get our prize. He was one of the managers and congratulated us for winning the prize. He said you have to pay $35 or something similar to get an AAA insurance for road assistance. Told him I have road assistance included in my own Insurance. He got mad and for 10 minutes was pushing for me to sign up. Asked him about the car, said he does not know much about that car, that he was new, but still was asking for AAA to be added to my monthly lease payment. I had to force myself to leave that room. I asked almost everybody in there about some future in the car, they just wanted me to leave. They got their deal and I was not worth any more. I told them I had worth of $150 of dash cam accessories in the car that either let me take the car to outside shop to remove it or they have to do it for me. Was told to not worry they will remove it and I can come back to pick it up. The next day went back gave them the other key for Murano, but was told Murano was not there and they will call me. Waited 2 weeks and called the dealer was told they sold the Murano. I told the salesman that I am not happy and I am going to make a complaint, said he will call me back. 2 days later I called him myself said he talked to General Manager and they dont want unhappy customer so they offered 2 free oil changes. I just hung up on him. I dont know how many people were ripped off by these people, but its time to investigate their unhealthy business. I also contacted Nissan USA before make my case to public. I got a call from a very angry lady from NISSAN USA that kept telling I have to deal with the dealer.

I have 2012 Sentra that just failed transmission. The cost of repair - $4K. When buying this car I had no idea 8 years is its lifespan. They KNOW about this problem and extended warranty for 2003-2010 models but not later models. Nissan said they fixed the problem. THEY LIED. Now the only way to me to do it is a lawsuit. There was a lawsuit filed and settled. PLEASE READ about it before buying Nissan. I wish I had. You can find a lot of good reviews online - dont believe it, it is from people who just bought it or from dealers. Mine is a real story how reliable Nissans are after 8 years. You need to spend not $500 or $600 on minor repair of older car, youll need $4K. We have 2 Nissans. Guess where I am going for my new car? Anywhere but Nissan.

I leased a 2013 Altima in June 2013. Car shuddered, had torque converter replaced still shuddered. New transmission still shuddered, another transmission still car shudders. Nissan says they will take car back if I pay usage fee or they will give me money and I keep the lease. I fail to see the benefit to me if youre considering a Nissan. The cvc transmission is to be worried about. Own 2 Nissans at this time and a total of 5 since 2006 but will find a way to unload them. Stand behind your products.

I have dealt with this company for 4 years from not receiving my payment statements, to payments sent on time, to them posting them several day after receiving them at their post office box, to filing written complaints with a response justifying their negligent actions. If you ever purchase a vehicle from Nissan try to go to another financial institution. This one is horrible, they hang up on you if they dont want to hear your complaint, misrepresent themselves. 1 car 2 lemon, never received statements, pay on time, post payments close to grace period ending date, no reason why? I contacted them several times over first few months, could not pay online, because someone opened account and put a password on it that I could not access, they could not delete - bottom line I could not use. 2nd car total brand new lemon send payments on time, they post close to end grace period, same problem, now I pay through bill pay. Will be filing a complaint with the BBB and attorney general, other complaints too long to list. I was referred to my bank to refinance through them so I no longer have to deal with Nissan. I am considering this.

I want to know if anyone else is having a problem with their Rogue not accelerating in the expressway. I was driving back from Alabama to Atlanta yesterday evening and took my foot off the gas pedal briefly and as I tried to give my car gas, the car wouldnt go pass 40 miles per hour per speedometer. I almost had an accident with my child in my car trying to pull over from the left lane to get to the emergency lane. After waiting two hours for the road side assistance to locate me, my car was towed to the nearest dealership. I finally was able to get it back to Atlanta that same night. No check engine light came on at all. The car seems to be running fine. Took it to the dealership to be check and was informed that I need a new transmission.

2013 Nissan Sentra SV with transmission issues. Took it to the Premier Nissan of San Jose and was told they could not find the issue. Test drove with the mechanic. Next day they say they cant reproduce the issue. Went back again and went on a test drive. Next day again they say they cant find the issue.I went back and this time another mechanic went on a drive with me and brought the computer to record data. He said that the car will need to stay there. This was already a week in the shop and they did not provide a loaner.Extremely poor customer service. The service advisors are a bunch of liars. They dont even call me back with a status update. I had to call them multiple times to find out. They changed their statement 3 times about me getting a loaner. 2 weeks in now and I am still without a car. Stay away from this dealership and stay away from Nissan. ABSOLUTELY MY LAST NISSAN EVER EVEN IF THEY GIVE ME A 50% discount.

No responsibility for a defected paint job because it was contracted out according to the Nissan North America rep that just called me back. This is sad and I will make sure I put this in as many places possible to be visible to your other consumers. In short, I bought a Black 2015 Nissan Altima less than 5 months ago. I have THOUSANDS of light scratches all over the car. It seems just looking at it scratches it. Its clearly a defect in the clear coat and or paint. The service manager at Nissan agreed it does not seem normal and the rep from Nissan North America would not clearly admit the same but did say I was an advocate for you to help but the decision was made not to do anything because its not a warranty coverage and its contracted out. So what. Nissan needs to take some responsibility. I owned a 2010 Black Chevy Cobalt for over 4 years and had way less paint damage when I traded it in 5 months ago. Obviously something is wrong with the paint or clear coat. I have tried taking better care of the Altima than I did my Cobalt. Rightfully so because its about twice the price. Nissan you made a great car and I love it.

Ive also had the chance to drive other car brands, but I just dont get the same feeling as when I drive a Nissan. Ive been driving for 12 years and I hope that when I can finally afford to buy my own car, therell be an awesome Nissan car waiting for me to buy it. BTW - that Nissan Juke advertisement with the typo was genius. Kudos to Nissan for thinking of something brilliant to promote their SUV. Cant wait to see what they have to offer next!

I bought a 2016 Nissan Maxima on May 10, 2016. Three weeks later I hit a deer with the car. Three months later I am still waiting to have the car fixed. Apparently the problem has been a wire harness that affected the airbags and seatbelts. Nissan is taking their sweet time getting the wire harnesses to Valley Nissan to start with. Now my insurance adjuster told me that Valley Nissan had gotten the wire harnesses for the car two weeks ago and they have not bothered to put them in yet. I am still waiting on Valley Nissan to fix it. I am still three months later waiting for this car to be fixed and daily I get the normal response that Ill be getting the car the next day but never do. I will never ever buy a Nissan product from Valley Nissan nor will I ever buy a Nissan product.

Nissan is one of the best vehicles I have ever owned and just recently bought another one like it because I loved the first one so much. It is a Nissan king cab with lots of room. I got it for a fairly decent price and I was lucky to find it. It was just sitting on the lot and it took some haggling to get the dealer to come down where I could afford it. It has everything I need. It could use more technology but that would be distracting. It is a great little truck and will be for a while.

While the very own Consumer Protection Lawyer in that particular district eats lunch with the local Lawyer who represents Nissan Dealerships and NMAC! I have a 2010 Nissan Versa sedan. I have had the service engine light on almost the entire time Ive had the car, or at least since the warranty ran out. The diagnostic code indicates a fuel system leak, which has already been recalled on other models but not mine. I am also experiencing fuel pressure regulator problems, which was also a technical service bulletin for other Nissan Versas just not my VIN number. Im furious that known problems arent being evaluated properly for all years and/or models. Ive had my car in the shop several times because it wont start, FPR issues. Im spending my money on rental cars and inspections of my vehicle while Im still paying off my Nissan Versa and Nissan isnt doing anything about a problem that is known because they are limiting which VIN numbers to provide service to. However, the dealer who has provided service for other recalls on my vehicle keeps calling me trying to get me to buy another Nissan. I feel they are aware of the problem and instead of offering service they want me to buy another Nissan. Im disgusted with the lack of service for known problems. I feel these issues need to be expanded to other year makes outside of the bulletin as it is tight now.

I bought my Nissan Titan in 2017 with 100,000 bumper to warranty. Took it to Universal Nissan for my regular service 35,000 miles, and let them know we have moisture inside the headlight. They said they contact Nissan and the headlight was on order on 1/13/22. Called the Dealer and they said the headlight came in early March. Vehicle check in 3/16/22, called 4hrs later to check on the status, service advisor stated it should be ready in an one hour. In 30 minutes he called back stated that the headlight replacement was denied Nissan. They could not provide any paperwork why it is declined. They gave a case number that did not exist when I called Nissan Consumer Affairs. They finally called back 4/1/2022 stating the dealer denied the coverage not Nissan. The rep from Consumer Affairs stated that they will send a letter stating why it was denied. I bought 3 Nissans, never again.

I initially took in my 2008 Nissan 350Z roadster convertible to Tony Nissan to have them repair the convertible roof because it is not fully closing into its compartment. They looked at it and eight hours later, said that they couldnt find anything wrong with it. They even showed me that it was working before leaving.Later that day, I wanted to test it out for myself. And much to my dismay, the same problem occurred. Being busy with work, etc., I wasn’t able to take it back in immediately. I was under warranty and thought I had time (my mileage at the time was under 36K). When I took it again (about a month and a half later) stating that it was not fixed, they tried to charge me for $350.00 just to look at it because now, my warranty had expired. I was under the impression that my warranty was going to expire at 60K or five years. Of course, I refused to pay that outrageous fee and left.I then returned at Tony Nissan with my husband and he demanded to speak to a manager. They looked at my vehicle at no cost but said they needed to contact Nissan corporate to get an approval to cover the cost of the repair. Three weeks thereafter, Nissan denied my claim stating that 1) I didnt have enough history with maintaining my vehicle and 2) my warranty is expired. This is such an incredible injustice for Nissan should have fixed the problem initially while my vehicle was under warranty. My vehicle is maintained immaculately with regular oil changes, etc. I intend to sue Nissan corporate and Tony Nissan to recoup the costs to repair my vehicle. Furthermore, I will not trust any brand with the Nissan name.

I leased a car in July of 2006. I received a property tax bill to pay in January. I got a signed and notarized affidavit stating that this vehicle was used for personal use only and that I did not live in the county where the property tax was being applied. In addition, the county where I purchased the vehicle and also reside does not charge property taxes. The first year was fine. I received another bill the second year and I submitted the same paperwork. NMAC claimed they never received it and that I owed them for taxes. I did not pay for it. The following year, I received another bill. When I submitted the forms again, I was told they could not accept them because I had not paid the previous years taxes. I just recently tried to refinance my home and my credit report is damaged because of this. I have tried calling to clear this mess up and was told rudely that this will not go away until it is paid. I submitted everything the company told me to do exactly and yet, this is still on my credit report. They have been extremely rude and have even hung up on me. I purchased a used 2012 Nissan Rogue from Major World of LIC. It currently has under 94000 miles. While driving home after work one night, on a very busy parkway, the truck decided it was going to stop accelerating. No previous warning lights, no weird sounds, just wouldnt accelerate when I pressed on the gas. I dont know much about cars, but Ive been around enough old and ruggeds to know a transmission problem when I hear it. First mechanic hooked it up to computer and it said it was an air flow sensor, $400, acceleration no better. Mechanic and I go to Nissan dealer, transmission gone, $3700. School teacher and single parent, $3700 not just lying around. Everyone says this shouldnt happen when mileage not at 100K. Contact Nissan Manufacturer, they wont help. Warranty expired at 36000 mi, way before I bought truck. I did purchase extended, that expired too, 72000 miles. No other warranties offered. Manufacturer not willing to go half, even though theyve fixed for other people, same vehicle, same year, same problem. Suck it up, agree to have transmission fixed, only warrantied for 1yr or 12000 mile... WTH!!!! You cant even guarantee for 100,000 on a new transmission?!?! Need car, have to get work, no choice. Fix Transmission, 2 wks later, horrible knocking sound from back of truck. Thought tire, maybe axle. NOPE, REAR DIFFERENTIAL. $1400 to $1600 to replace. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! Car parked now. Cant trust anyone, mechanics, manufacturers, dealer, none of them. $400 bucks a month for a car I cant use. Will never purchase another Nissan Product!

I purchased the new 2016 Titan XD Platinum... 62k. Within 30 days they offered the 2017 with a standard 5 year 100k warranty and a rebate of $4500 on the 2016s. After contacting Nissan, I was given 1000 Nissan points which doesnt even cover the cost of a warranty extension to match what is standard on the 2017. As for the rebate, I was given an analogy using Walmart as their example about things going on sale. Nissan offered no help for the loyal customer, but big discounts for potential customers. Seems a bit backward to me. Nissan wants to be respected like Honda and Toyota but lacks the substance and customer understanding to be a tier 1 player. I am a current leaser of a Nissan Murano since November of last year. On June 2011, my automatic payment was withdrawn ahead of time, giving me difficulties with my budget. I spoke with a representative and canceled the automatic payments. On July 3, 2011, I sent a check of $831.93 to cover two months payments. However, for unknown reason check was delayed and I was receiving calls from different representatives everyday. On July 13, I got tired of the calls so I paid by phone and told them if they receive a check, do not cash it. On July 14, they cashed they check with the same amount, making my account go overdraft. On Friday, I spoke to Elvira, she told me I was going get the money back the next day, nothing happened. The next week I called with my complaint but people put me on hold and never came back to the line.I spoke with supervisor Darling and she told me I was gonna have my check the next day. Two days passed-by, nothing happened. I was hungry, with no transportation no money for food or gas and my account was overdraft. I called and spoke with Tamy, Megan, Steven, Carla, Karen, Rick and nobody did anything. I have struggled with no money. For almost two weeks everyday they said tomorrow you will receive a check. I reported to Consumer Affairs, it was useless. After almost 2 weeks I received my refund check, but no check for the overdrafts. The supervisors Rick and Darling, promised me that they will refund me the overdrafts. I checked my bank statement but nothing until now. I keep on calling them, they are never at the office. Representatives told me they gonna contact them and return my phone call and nothing. I am so disappointed at Nissan, this situation has put me on 2 weeks struggle of food, gas and transportation. Representatives of Nissan have ignored my complaints and lied to me, made fun of me with false statement, and put my economy in jeopardy. I will submit my complaint of this horrible action to any Nissan web site and complaints site as well if I do not receive a result.

Nissan vehicles have extensive issues that require multiple services and repairs. Im still within the ten year/100,000 miles engine warranty and yet providing more excuses to cover cost. Im trying to get Nissan to actually repair something in the engine that prevents the vehicle from being driven, but they are getting behind to complete any repairs with a thousand dollars or more. Consider this. I have a 2011 Rogue and found out the CVT needs replacing. Since Nissan has created a monopoly around their CVT you cannot find parts to rebuild as you cannot buy them. The only way is to replace the entire CVT which you must purchase from Nissan. Ever wonder how they extended the warranty for 2008-2010 only but did the extension in 2014? They knew that the 2011, 2012, 2013 would all have the same problems. Maybe not enough complaints at that time for those years. So I checked the warranty on the brand new replacement CVT direct from Nissan and installed by Nissan... 12 months/20000kms. Although the exact same CVT on a brand new 2017 comes with 5years/60000km warranty. Read between the lines... Nissan cannot even back their own monopoly on CVT with a decent warranty. What a crock of **. Bye bye Nissan FOREVER. The GM of the dealership wont even return my call, probably because he has no excuses for the crap product the CVT is. Someone start a class action and take Nissan and their CRAP CVT down.

Volume on radio out of control. My husband waited outside hoping someone would stop and help us jump start our car. Waited long time. Finally got help and successful recharge the car. After we drove 10 mins it broke down again. We had to ask someone to jump start our car again and pulled it off the street. The car shutdown itself after 5 mins.We called Nissan road service and they said they will come within a hour but we waited 5 hours for them. We were so anger because we cant leave the car there, its blocking someone elses car. 5 hours we waited, whole day was ruined. They kept lying to us saying they would come soon. We paid $1600 more on Nissan car dealership for the additional car service. I am still so angry. We couldnt go to work. So regret that we chose Nissan. The car is bad quality and the service is terrible.

I am the owner of a 2013 Nissan Rogue S AWD Special Edition. Prior to this vehicle I have bought Two and Leased Two, and believe me there is No Loyalty from this company. My complaint with Nissan is - on Sept. 2014 I brought my car to the Dealer MLG #34,387 Newburgh Nissan NY for CVT transmission problems. Whining and over heating causing loss of power while driving on the highway, very dangerous. They found an ABS code C1106. Had no problem until April 2015 and it happened again, whining and over heating causing loss of power while driving on the highway. So I brought it back to the Dealer MLG #45,452 Newburgh Nissan NY and they could not duplicate the problem and NO codes. OK so now I called Consumer Affairs of Nissan and I received a return call from ** (615) 725-7592 who gave my a REF. # **. Told her what was going on and she insisted that I take to a different Dealer for a Second Opinion. So thats what I did, I brought the car over to another Dealer MLG #45,963 April 2015 Middletown Nissan NY and they couldnt duplicate the problem as well and NO codes. And now to top it off, this problem its costing me money to a Rent A Car. OK So I picked up the car and on May 2, 2015 it happened again. On May 4, 2015 I had my friend hook up the scanner to check the system and found a stored code. Transmission Fault code P0744 Torque Converter ECU part # 31036-JM62A. So I brought the car back to the first Dealer Newburgh Nissan NY and thats where car is now, and they wouldnt give me a rent a car so I am stuck home. I left several messages with ** and have not received a call back. Shows you how concerned she is about this problem. I also filed 3 Vehicle Safety Complaints with Safercar, gov...

I bought my 2015 Versa - not happy. They screw me with warranties and the car is just the basic. When I fought them to cancel them I still owed a lot for this car. Not worth it... so dont buy this car... Then I got hit from the back and front within 4 month of getting my car so I decided to take in the dealer collision shop here in Katy TX Mossy Nissan. I had a bad experience. They did not do a good job. Never take your car in this shop. Everything was bad. For them to be a dealer they should have better bodyman and painters. How we found out? I got hit again so they had to take the bumper off and found the bumper had glue to hold it on. What kind of ** was that so people please check the work. I will never take it in the dealer or buy another Nissan cars. And the people there are so rude. When they did the problem they dont want to talk to you, so dont go to Mossy Nissan Collision in Katy TX. They do poor quality work. They need to fire all who do ** work. I highly discourage anyone from purchasing the maintenance plan with Nissan. You are better off setting aside a few dollars in savings toward maintenance. I wanted peace of mind but have found it difficult to get anything covered. I have had two tire issues with a 1-year-old car. First time I had to jump through hoops to get a new tire. The second time I had a complete blowout that shredded my tire and damaged my wheel. I have never experienced this and they refused to cover it by saying I hit a curb when there was a large nail clearly embedded in the sidewall. I acknowledge I probably did hit the curb... after the fact. A complete blowout of a tire is very scary. Bottom line... not worth it!!!

I purchased a new 2011 Altima in August 2011 on a lease, placing $3,000 down and monthly payments around $260.00. In September, I received a statement showing a credit. Again in October, the statement reflected a credit. I called NMAC to verify these credits were indeed correct, I was assured the account was correct and that my first actual payment would be due in December. At the end of October, I received a collection call stating I was 30 some days overdue with a balance of $368.00 owing. Coincidentally, that day I received a letter from NMAC stating that during an internal audit, they mistakenly applied an amount to my account as a credit and that this amount would be added to my next statement. I called NMAC and told them I have not received a statement showing their mistake and a corrected amount to pay. I would pay when I received the statement. The hounding calls persisted, they even called my place of employment. I called the manager of the dealership, he explained that the dealership and NMAC are two entirely different companies but he offered to help. I received my November statement which has an overage amount due for over $200.00.I paid my arranged payment plus the overage, check cleared. Again in December, the invoice was paid, cleared bank. On December 2, 2011, my dealership manager even intervened and was told that they had cleared up the mess, they informed him that my account and another lease holders account - 1 number apart- was the reason for the confusion. He was told everything is fine, my account is current. I, myself confirmed this information with Nissan. Today, Friday December 23, 2011, at 9:15am at the place of employment, I received a call from NMAC credit attempting to collect a debt 32 days overdue for $368.00, stating insufficient funds. Unbelievable! This company is impossible to deal with - speaking to India without the ability to sit down face to face and hammer out the problems is so frustrating. Local dealerships can only help so much. I have been advised by a family attorney that these companies cannot contact you repeatedly at your place of employment - so I advised them today to cease calling me at work - they are now on notice. This is becoming the worst experience of my life and I will not continue with this idiocy for the next 4 years. We consumers are at the mercy of this NMAC plus they can potentially ruin our credit rating. I may need legal help soon!

I find out at the end of October that the paperwork was not done and they say I am delinquent on my rogue. I have been going back and forth with the dealership and nissan corp for 2 months. They have destroyed mine and my wifes credit and it is December 29th and the problem is still going on. I will never buy a nissan again and I wish I could get rid of the one that I have now. If anybody needs a new vehicle I would not suggest 46 nissan or nissan corp at all.

I purchased a Nissan Rogue in 2014. I absolutely loved my Rogue. Until one day I was driving and the rpms revved up and then started slowing down. My husband had to come follow me home so I didnt get slammed. My Rogue only had 90,000 miles. I called Nissan and was told, Oh you are out of warranty, sorry cant help you. I lost my job and then the bank took my vehicle. It has destroyed me financially. I was told that until people die because of these bad transmissions Nissan will never do anything about it. I will never be able to buy a car again because of this. I am 58 and always had good credit until now.

Usually I service on time at toronto dealer where I bought the car at same location. @ 32200+ KM got the engine oil replaces at sainte foy, QC (I was away with family) as advised by my dealer and 2 recalls performed. @33000+ KM came back to dealer (after my tour), asked about brake fluid flush, which is recommended by Nissan but its not done by dealer (dont know why). I gave my consent to replace if required. And for wheel rotation (which is also recommended by Nissan.)When I picked up my car, I feel there is gas pedal delay in the initial acceleration (between 800 and 1800 RPM). On minutely trying to identify, why there is an uneasiness for me to drive, the usual resistance in the gas pedal that is altered, and the pressure I usually put on the pedal has changed, and which started to get annoying. Usually I use 87 octane fuel. This time I filled 91 octane fuel, still the acceleration is identifiable. Usually I drive in ECO mode, which is sluggish. Normal is better and Sports mode is usually quite peppy. After trying all the combination, I realized this the feedback/resistance, may have been altered. Dont know how and why (forgot to mention I had also asked for bronze cleaning on the car). Dealer has failed to understand the point and they keep on telling me about sensors and error codes. What I realized after studying the matter that the sensor and codes will work nice, when the pedal recognizes the press.Concern of mine is the pressure is gas pedal stars identifying the press after a small delay (maybe we are talking about 5~7 millimeters). Why I am concerned: I have to press more gas pedal now to get to my normal driving habit for years/decades; I am quite concerned now if this pedal will have more issues to offer; Since the pedal feedback/resistance spring may have altered, it may happen, that say when in highway, it will get stuck to a position and send incorrectly send sensors of pedal being pressed even after removing feel from pedal. Now I feel little unsafe in this car. More details can be shared on request.

What are they trying to hide. If you are communicating with a customer, what difference does it make if you write instead of talk. Is it because they cannot be held against what they say since no one will have any records of it. Absolute joke. Good luck to those who own a Nissan and need help from the Consumer Affairs. I own a 2009 Nissan Rogue and my transmission just went out. I understand completely that a vehicle is a vehicle and all vehicles will have problems every now and then. What I dont understand is why the heck is Nissan still marketing their vehicles with the CVT transmissions? I know a lot of people who owned a Altima, Maxima, Murano and I asked the question of why did you guys get rid of your vehicles? Their responses were they started to hear grinding noises coming from the transmission and the transmission would idle past 2k rpms at a complete stop and once they take off the transmission would change gears so hard that it felt like they were being rear ended and so they didnt trust the CVT transmission and got rid of their vehicle before any major mechanical issues occurred. Three weeks ago I began experiencing the same problem and Sunday June 14th I went to turn into the grocery store parking lot and tried to give it a little more gas and all it did was idle and then immediately my service engine light kept flashing. I had the vehicle towed to a Nissan dealership and it was confirmed my transmission went out and to top it off they are non repairable. So not only do I not have a vehicle but I am also making a very decent payment on the vehicle and my warranty has expired. To everyone out there looking to purchase a Nissan. I highly recommend that you do not buy their products until they discontinue the CVT transmissions. If youre interested in how Nissan vehicles look rather than the quality of the vehicle then have at it. Trust me when I say you will be glad you didnt purchase any of their vehicles with the CVT transmission. I only wish I wouldve done my homework before purchasing my vehicle.

I have been a loyal Nissan owner/leaser for almost 20 years - I have literally had 9 Nissans, and have always been happy with their performance. I was 2 years into my current Pathfinder lease, and my financial situation changed dramatically due to a divorce and job loss. My income went down to a third of what it was, and the monthly payment was just too much. I understand that many people have financial hardships, but as an extremely loyal Nissan customer who NEVER missed a payment and has excellent credit, I thought that Nissan would work with me on an early termination fee reduction. Three weeks and numerous phone calls later, I was literally told by a Customer Service supervisor that while she had the power to make an adjustment, she simply couldnt break their policy. Losing my business after 20 years was apparently worth the $1800 early termination fee, or actually less than that, as I was willing to pay something on a credit card to leave this lease, and then lease a less expensive Nissan that fit my budget. I worked with Hyundai, and they gave me more than $1000 more than my Nissan dealership was willing to give me for my Pathfinder. I unfortunately have the same payment on my new vehicle, but I own instead of leasing, and I will save $100 a month on gas. At least its something... but Nissan has lost me as a customer forever.

I leased a brand new 2017.5 Nissan Rogue SV AWD Premium Package in July 201
I leased a brand new 2017.5 Nissan Rogue SV AWD Premium Package in July 2017. My vehicle traded was a 2015 Rogue (same model) I had hit my mileage on a year early. Not only was I pleased with my 15, but I spent 2 years as a Nissan employee, and I retain the Nissan Visa card. I would say Im a pretty good customer and supporter. In 6 months and 7k (now 8k) miles, my Rogue has had the radio/navigation system fully replaced! My Rogue has also been TOWED into the dealerships service department! I work nights. It was Christmas Eve. The car never made it to work. Of course, 3 days later after the holiday, the Rogue worked fine and the mechanics could not duplicate the issue. A diagnostic test showed a possible air flow problem... which I read about in another review... but they really have no idea. I am a single mom, on a check-check basis, and one reason I lease is to avoid maintenance! I cry all the time in my car. I am frustrated. Every time I start the Rogue I wonder what will happen next. I have lost confidence in this vehicle. I filed a claim with Consumer Affairs. I have received 2 emails from the gal stating she has tried to reach me multiple times by phone but I have no missed calls, voicemails, nothing, and the number(s) is saved in my phone. I have responded to these emails but then have not heard back from her. In the last week, I have called her DIRECT line 5x leaving my contact phone number 2x every message. I have gotten voicemail each time. Since December 26, 2017 I have called Nissan Consumer Affairs 8x. I should not have to be dealing with this regarding a vehicle purchased brand new not 7 months ago. Certain staff members at the dealership have been as helpful as they possibly can be but they have limitations which I understand. At least theyre on my side. Nissan seems to think this entire issue is a game. Its not. I live in Columbus, Ohio. We do not have major public transport opportunities. I cannot afford a chauffeur, I cannot afford taxi cabs or Uber. Nissan needs to step up.

Leased new Infiniti QX70 in 2017. Never missed a payment, or late. Never knew the rate changed! I am paperless, and make automatic payments. Why would I imagine that my payment would change when I entered into a contract for a specified amount for 36 months? I bought a Nissan as my first vehicle because my mother always had a Nissan. Her mother and father always had a Nissan. When it came time for me to buy a vehicle, I wanted to go with someone I could trust, who always provided quality cars and service. Is that a thing of the past? My 2011 Nissan Cube with a CVT transmission is a piece of junk! After just 5 years and 72000 miles the CVT needs to be replaced. The dealership is asking $5000 for the repair. More than Ive been able to save since buying my first car.Since this happened Ive found out about their 2015 lawsuit, and the warranty extension for 2010 cubes. The CVT is still a safety hazard, but after talking to them I found out that denying theres a problem, and me help, is more important than maintaining a generational chain of Nissan customers and loyalty. An auto manufacturer I can trust with my life is worth generational loyalty. When they know their CVTs have a problem, I know they have a problem, the entire internet knows they have a problem, then the only thing I want to do is pay my car off and find a new manufacturer I can trust, and be loyal to... Our company has a 2018 NV 200, a commercial vehicle with 100,000 mile bumper-to-bumper commercial Nissan warranty. There are about 58,000 miles on the truck. On January, 26, 2021 while driving on a small residential road at 5 miles an hour, the passenger side curtain deployed. The truck did not hit anything at all. Our technician said it sounded like a gun went off. He couldn’t see anything. Had this happened on the highway, he certainly would’ve been in an accident, possibly fatal. I have been trying to work with Nissan to have them simply give us a loaner truck for the eight weeks that will be required in order to do a thorough investigation. Im not trying to cause them trouble but They told me I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF ANY LOANER TRUCK!!!.This is the worst handling of a highly explosive situation (no pun intended) that I can imagine. They also said it’s up to THEIR discretion to decide if I would get reimbursed. Furthermore, they said I may be subject to STORAGE CHARGES AT THE LOCAL DEALER UNTIL THIS IS SETTLED. Is this incredible? Dakota from their arbitration group has been assigned to me. No person could have less skills given the severity of this incident. I asked for just two things: a loaner truck and commitment to make sure that any defects be not hidden from the public. DISGRACEFUL. WHO IS SAFE IN THEIR VEHICLES????Heres the worst part. When I told them I demanded a loaner vehicle, they said the case was closed!!!! Mr/Mrs Dakota called the dealer and told them the case was closed and settled. Here is the warranty. Very clear. 5 years/100,000 miles (whichever occurs first). The Nissan Powertrain Limited Warranty covers the engine, transmission and transaxle, plus the drivetrain, as well as air bags, and related electronic control system. [*]

Last month (September) I was driving and my car would not accelerate. I took my car to Auto Zone so they could run a test on it to see what was wrong. The code they could not read. He told me to try getting my oil changed (I just got my oil changed July but I did it anyway). My car worked fine for a while. I got to a stoplight and again the car started not to accelerate again. So the next day I had it towed to my friends auto shop. He told me that my transmission had went out. The main issue is that I just had my transmission replaced by Nissan last July. I have a 2015 Nissan Versa.Nissan states they will not replace my transmission because Im out of the warranty. I think this is ridiculous. They can obviously see that there are issues with their transmissions because they have several other complaints about it. I am very upset because I have taken care of my car like I should but it still messed up on me and now I am without a car. I am currently appealing Nissan about not covering my transmission replacement. I should not have to go through this at all.

Ownership of a Nissan is synonymous with dissatisfaction. On March 25, 2019, I purchased a new Nissan Frontier from Jenkins Nissan, Leesburg, FL. After 30 months of ownership and only 14,058 miles, it had an obvious manufacturing defect. Namely, the paint started peeling off at nearly every weld spots on the fenders and the bed rail of the vehicle. They did determine that this is a “warranty issue.” On August 11, 2021, Jenkins Nissan Leesburg, Florida service personnel told me the peeling was indeed caused by the weld spots, but they did nothing except tell me to take the Nissan Frontier to Reed Nissan Clermont, Florida because they (Jenkins Nissan) didnt have a body shop. I contacted Nissan Customer Services on August 15, 2021 to determine where I should take the vehicle to fix the manufacturing defect. On August 24, 2021, I was finally contacted by *** from Nissan Customer Services and she told me to take it to any Nissan Dealer to file the report to the Warranty Department for this region. On August 31, 2021, I had an appointment with Reed Nissan Clermont, Florida. Reed Nissan Clermont sent me to Reed Nissan Orlando because they didnt have a body shop either. On September 7, 2021, I had an appointment with Reed Nissan Orlando, Florida. They inspected my car, took pictures and told me that they were filing a report and that I would hear something that day, fact is their words were, you should hear something within an hour. That hear something within an hour comment has now turned into several weeks. Finally on their advice on October 7, 2021, I took my Nissan Frontier to Reed Nissan Orlando to get it repaired. Only, that didn’t happen because Reed Nissan failed to file the claim. After much pressure from me, Reed Nissan filed the report. Finally, on October 29, 2021 the Nissan Frontier was repaired. It took 79 (seventy nine) days from the time of my complaint to get the vehicle fixed., I believe the Nissan Frontier is a very competitive vehicle but the three Nissan dealer’s LACK knowledge of filing a warranty issue claim is unacceptable. Had this been an engine failure or a transmission failure, I would have been without the vehicle for 79 days or 11 days shy of three months.

My brand new car (Nissan Sunny XL petrol), right after the second free service, the car started having problem like heating up of the engine and frequent shutdowns. On the way, it broke down again while passing a dangerous valley. It stopped more than 20 times during the travel of 200km. When I contacted the service station in charge, he said that he cannot do anything. When asked what should be done next, his answer was, HE DOESNT KNOW ANYTHING.I then called Nissan Call Center. With much effort and persuasion, they connected me to the local technician who, after inspection, declared that the problem occurred because of the FAULTY FUEL PUMP and DUPLICATE COOLANT, which the service center used. I brought a New Leaf on 2nd May 2014. This car is supposed to go 170 Km on a full Battery Charge. My new car will only do 90 to 100 Kms. on a full charge. It has been back to the dealer 3 times for repair. The Head Office of Nissan will not honor the Warranty, as they say there is nothing wrong with the batteries. Their Sales Booklet and internet says should get 170 kms on a full charge. I paid $39,000 cash and would like my money refunded. Head Office in Melbourne WILL NOT CHANGE THE BATTERIES.This car does not perform to what is printed in the Booklet. This car was made in April 2012. Held in storage at Brisbane until sold. The Batteries are 2 Years old when it was delivered to me 4th June 2014. Compliance Plate was Dated May 2014, but the car was over 2 years old then. I expected to buy a 2014 produced Car not a 2 year old one. If then it is sold next year it will say it is 3 year old. I consider that it is false sales to me [not a 2014 model car]. I think Nissan Australia should take the back and Refund me my money.

At first I loved my Nissan Rogue. Bought it brand new. Once winter hit and I attempted to use the AWD but my car was all over the road. My Altima and Cavalier I had prior were much better.

ATTENTION NISSAN ROGUE OWNERS PLEASE READ: I am extremely disappointed in the results of my visit. My 2008 Nissan Rogue of South Brunswick Acme Nissan went in because of a problem the Rogues had with their passenger airbag lights and problem with the sensor in the seat. Ive never had an accident nor problem with the seat. Now Nissan tells me, Sorry, the seat needs to be replaced to the tune of OVER $1400.00. They claim it was covered for 5 years or 50,000 miles. Oh yes and by the way, it was a recalled item at one time! Well gentlemen, I will not have this seat replaced and I will rely on the primary safety seat belt. I have 4 cars in my family, 2 of which are Nissans, and just for your info, I will NEVER and I mean NEVER buy another Nissan as long as I live or take it for service to Nissan. One last thing if I may. Why was I charged over $50.00 just to find out whose problem it was? Oh wait if it was Nissans problem you would absorb the cost but because it was not your problem you passed it on to me. Thank you for making my choice of vehicles in the future easier the next time because it WONT be a Nissan. A letter will follow up to Corporate of Nissan, BBB of NJ, and the Home News Tribune and their sister paper, the Asbury Park Press, Star Ledger, YouTube and anyone else I can inform via electronic media.

2013 Nissan Altima, 3.5S VIN#**. Issue: The readout for the heat and AC located on the center dash console constantly will go blank. Everything is still operational but, blindly, due to the screen being blank. Ive had the car in to Grubbs Nissan for this issue several times. On one occasion I drove in as it was going off and on and had a service tech drive around with me. She videoed it on her phone. I was told the part was ordered and almost two months later called in to have it replaced. Within the same week of having it replaced the same issue began again. I drove in and told my service guy who was there but off duty. He went and scheduled an apt for the following Monday but neglected to put down what the issue was so, when I took it in on Monday I also told a different service guy about another issue I was having with the radio. The radio is the only issue they touched. The excuse I get is, Our service department could not get the issue to reproduce. For the full month of December 2014 I recorded date, time, weather when this issue was repeated. I also have a video of it. This is NOT acceptable and I want it fixed!!Date, Time, Weather. 12/3/2014 2:30 PM, humid. 12/5/2014 7:55 AM, humid. 12/10/2014 7:56 AM, rainy/humid. Goes off after the 4th wipe of the wipers. Turn off the wipers and it pops back on. 12/14/2014 1:02 PM, rainy. Goes off after the 4th wipe of the wipers. Turn off the wipers and it pops back on. 12/17/2014 8:49 AM, rainy. I recently traded in my leased Nissan Altima for a used Juke at Vaden Nissa
I recently traded in my leased Nissan Altima for a used Juke at Vaden Nissan in Bluffton SC. I gave them the payoff on my Altima (through Nissan Motor Acceptance), which they confirmed. The dealership also performed an inspection on my Altima. We discussed a new deal for a used Nissan Juke. They agreed to pay off my Nissan balance, and I financed the price that we agreed to. Four months later I get a bill saying that I owe Nissan Motor Acceptance $1273. I called Nissan Motor Acceptance, and they claimed there was excessive wear and tear on the vehicle, along with an early termination fee. This Altima was in very good shape when Vaden looked at it. It was my understanding when I drove my Juke out their dealership, that we agreed to a deal which had a commitment from both sides. Now they are telling me the charges are non-negotiable. I told both Nissan Motor Acceptance and Vaden Nissan that if I would have known that I owed another $1273, there is no way I would have completed this deal. Who does business like that??? I have NEVER had a problem with Subaru or Toyota coming back to me for charges after a lease. As far as I am concerned, when we agreed to certain numbers, then I shook hands with the salesman, and then drove off the lot, the deal should be over!!! Thanks for reading!

They approved a one month extension, then pushed us one day over the 30-day mark by their own incompetence and now refused to remove this one and only credit glitch even though we were longtime, paying on time customers. Nissan is mean-spirited and inconsiderate to their customers and should be blackballed by all of us. In fact, dont even buy Nissan. I was going to buy another Titan, but this pushed me over into the Chevy column for all time no matter what they come up with. They might as well not even exist anymore. Theyre dead to me.

I made 32 phone calls (documented), 2 faxes to car dealer, certified letter – NO RESPONSES. All I wanted was to make my first payment before it was late! I HAD a credit score of over 750 and in 2 months NMAC (Nissan finance) RUINED my credit – now its 620! I spent over 5 weeks just trying to get the mailing address to make my payment. I called 3 different published phone numbers for NMAC and they didnt have my account registered! I didnt exist – no account number to put my $$$ towards! Next thing I know – REPO! Even before repo I had my atty involved and they even ignored her calls! Finally, after the Repo, the repo company was obligated by law to give me the phone number to contact. I had a 3-way phone call with Nissan and my lawyer on the line. I explained everything and said I would be willing to pay the entire amount, even plus 1 month in exchange for them faxing my attorney, admitting that NMAC made an error and I was never late on my payments. Thats all I asked for! I was willing to let them get away with doing this to me, but they refused to admit fault. I told them Id see them in court then. My atty was even surprised at how they treated me and said she never had a company REFUSE $$$.

My wife and I have a 2011 Nissan Altima on lease. Mid-2012 my wife was sexually assaulted IN the car. Think about this. Do you want to drive the car that the love of your life has been raped in? NO! After numerous phone calls to NMAC, we received no assistance. We were even in contact with Nissan North America. They tried to help us out by offering us a car at factory price. The issue was the early termination cost of the car. NMAC refuses to help in any way (they even said as much to the guy at Nissan North America). I understand that NMAC had no legal obligation to assist us in any way, but I feel that they could have done something from a humanitarian standpoint. I never expected them to say, Oh sorry, here is a brand new car for free. What I expected was some relief from the early termination fee. I cannot wait for my lease to end as I will NEVER conduct business with Nissan or their affiliates ever again. I will strongly discourage others from doing so.

First Instance: I booked vehicle at Nissan Alissa Showroom at Prince Sultan
First Instance: I booked vehicle at Nissan Alissa Showroom at Prince Sultan Road, Jeddah on 24-6-2016. While booking vehicle, I had been told by sales supervisor that I will get vehicle before Eid (festival) but after follow-up for vehicle, sales supervisor said that he didnt promised but just he said he will try. My Experience: My question is when you are aware that it is not possible then why give false commitment and false hope to customers.Second Instance: When I got sms of registration of my car number plate on 20-07-2016, I went to showroom expecting to get car. Sales supervisor checked his computer and said, my car is at Falisteen Road branch. I have to go there tomorrow before 11:30 AM or else I will not get car. As per his instruction I went. It was 21-7-2016. Delivery staff said my car not yet reached from warehouse and I have to wait. I waited for 5 hours and finally at 3.55 PM my car reached. I got it at 6.00 PM. My Experience: Making customer wait for complete day and waste their time. Their attitude is a customer has to wait, no issue, it is norm. There is no coordination at all between teams/department and no one follows SOP (I doubt, if there is any). Just chaos. No one take a lead to solve customer issue. Just blame other co-workers.Third Instance: I had been handed dirty vehicle. From inside floor was wet, dirty dusty hands prints on car door panel, exterior crevices is full of sand. When asked why its not cleaned, answer is cleaners are lazy. My Experience: No one bother about customer experience and staffs are not trained about their job, which leads to casual attitude towards work. I decided I will never buy Nissan againFourth Instance: Very next day when I try to start the car it was not getting start only clicking sound (as Friday and Saturday service department is closed, I have to wait till Sunday). I went to the dealer. He said I have to go to Auto Star showroom on Tahliya road that is the workshop. I went there. They said battery has to be replaced. My Experience: Speechless!!!Fifth Instance: I had been told that they dont have battery in stock so I have to come next day. I express my disregard then workshop manager told me to wait, he will buy on cash and I can my take vehicle today. I have been waiting. When there was only one hour left for closing, I inquired when will he receive battery. He dial some numbers and spoke to someone and said he cant help me because he dont have petty cash. My Experience: Wasted my time by giving me false information and finally give lame excuse. Battery is out of stock!!! A joke.Sixth Instance: Next day I was expecting call from workshop. I didnt get any call till afternoon. I call them to check. I spoke to manager. He said till now its not ready and he will call me back once it is ready. Alas! Not any call, not even to apologize for not getting vehicle ready. When I didnt get any call for four days, I went and blasted manager he put some local battery and gave me car. My Experience: Nissan has to be one of the worst companies known to man.Overall Experience: Please check picture attached and decide yourself. I even complaint to Nissan Middle East head office, only reply I got is: Greetings from Nissan Middle East FZE. Please note that, we are reviewing your case with our local dealer in KSA and you may expect to receive an update soon. At the meantime, should you require further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us. Not even I got a single call from anybody. I just say if you want to stay happy keep yourself away from Nissan.

I have three case numbers for the same issue with Nissan USA (**). All of my correspondence should be included with each case number. The attached comment below was my last comment back to Nissan USA. I have offered to take part of the responsibility of the repair and pay the labor. I paid to have parts replaced that were in good working order. (Both catalyst) due to a known defect in the manifold upper tubing 2004/2007. The vehicle was passing DEQ every time I had tags renewed, which, I had done in November of 2014. I have no way of knowing when the manifolds cracked. If a notice had been sent out I would have taken my Armada in to be checked. The cracks were very small and in the same place on both of the old manifolds. The dealer was obviously aware of the issue. The service manager told me when he showed me the old manifolds, Nissan corrected the issue by adding a weld to the manifold to prevent it from cracking. I hope this can be taken to another level of review. This is my 4th Nissan and will probably be my last. If Nissan was truly interested in keeping customers for life they would at least cover the parts due to the nature of the issue. Had a notification been sent out in regard to the issue I would have taken the vehicle in to be repaired. Nissan basically covered their butt by extending the warranty and not notifying their customers of the issue --- WRONG --- this issue needs to go to a level above whoever is reviewing my case. I will pursue my case with the Consumer Protection Agency.

Bought my 2012 Rogue in April 2012. Its been a great car to me, love how it handles in the snow. Now in April 2017 and 72,000 miles later, I need a new transmission. Despite the fact that I did not buy the extended warranty, I should not have to replace a transmission this soon. Apparently there have been recalls regarding the CVT transmissions (Nissan is well aware of their problems) but my VIN was not included... Hmmm... I wonder why. Since it is out of warranty, I am not bringing it to a Nissan dealership for repair as they will only charge me more than my hometown garage. I am going to have the transmission replaced and then trade it in. Time to go back to buying American. Since I bought my Rogue I have recommended the car to so many people. Now I am sorry I did that. $4000 down the drain.

The rudest people. Don’t get even a little behind. They hound you daily starting at 8 am, and continue several times a day. I literally just made a payment to get caught up, but because it didn’t cover 100% (not even 30 days past yet), I get an ignorant, barely understandable rep berating me at 8 in the morning. A daily occurrence. Greedy, condescending and arrogant people.

Long story short, CVT recall, had judder issues since 50,000 miles. Took car in several times, Dealership states nothing wrong. Check engine light came on around 99,000 miles. Diagnostic test came back with CVT problem. Code wasnt enough evidence so hundreds of dollars later, needed an extensive diagnostic test. Still wasnt enough for Nissan. I had to record my dashboard of the tachometer jumping with the judder. Sent it in and dealership said more proof was needed because I could have been doing it with the gas pedal. While driving I had to now record both my tachometer and speedometer at the same time. Sent it in and woman at dealership never called me for the status so when I called her a week and a half later (of course one of the Reps relays her message as usual because I can never reach her. She never takes my phone calls or calls me back, she tells her reps that shes busy and gives them a message for me). She stated I needed to call Consumer Affairs to open a case so she could send the video in which I already had a case opened which was how she was able to submit the first set of videos in the first place. Apparently many people have this issue and Nissan should not be in business if this is how they treat their customers. I plan to contact NY State Attorney General and the FTC. I paid a lot of money for this used car and had nothing but problems.
