If I could rate Nissan a 0 I would. All around terrible service from the advisors up to management. Brought my vehicle into Pine Belt Nissan of Tomsriver NJ. I had what I believed to be a stress crack across my windshield. The advisor along with the service manager both looked at it, and clearly said they could NOT find any point of impact, obviously with that being said it would be a factory defect. They sent all my info along with photos to Nissan corporate. Who I went back and forth with to have it covered since the glass had NOT been hit. Anyway it had been denied all across the board. Not a single person could provide an explanation on why the glass broke, of course they only work there but know NOTHING. I even asked them if they could Pay half the cost. Again was told NO. I would of happily taken aftermarket glass didnt have to come from the factory. Im guessing Nissan knows nothing of “goodwill”. Customer service is TERRIBLE! They cant even do the right thing for their customers, they would much rather lose them instead. Nissan is pathetic. I would never ever lease or purchase anything from this awful awful company again! Everyone else tell your friends and family! All they could come up with was, Sorry car is not in warranty, spare me Nissan. I will never serve my car in any Nissan service center again. Nissan does not do the right thing and thats the bottom line! Poor product and terrible employees.

A couple of years after purchasing my 2008 Nissan Rogue I began hearing a whining sound coming from the transmission while driving on long road trips. Eventually while on a road trip I was suddenly unable to accelerate. The pedal was down to the floor but rather than pick up speed, the vehicle would decelerate and was unable to even reach the speed limit on the highway. After bringing it to Nissan they said they would replace the transmission. A couple of years later I now have the same exact problem again. So it seems Nissan decided to replace the transmission with yet another faulty one or perhaps didnt even actually replace it the first time and did a temporary fix of some kind just so that the warranty would expire before it happened again. When I brought it back to Nissan again telling them the same problem has occurred they said they couldnt find anything wrong and refused to fix it. Nissan is fully aware of the problem as they now provide a fix for the faulty transmission but if course at the owners expense. That is ridiculous as Nissan should be held accountable for this faulty transmission and should eat the cost of replacing it or installing the fix since they were incapable of making a quality transmission in the first place. I am outraged that they have gotten away with this and cant believe a company should be able to take advantage of customers in this way. Shame on Nissan and I hope that everyone who wants a quality car from a company that cares about its customers stays far away from Nissan as you will be sorely disappointed!

Dealer: Leckner Nissan of Springfield, VA. Date and Time: 4th September, 2018. (1)KeyTag#**, Invoice#**, I took car in for oil change, when I was about to pick up the car, I was informed and also saw my car was damaged because the person pulling the car in the garage hit the left side of the drywall. It sounds like a horror movie! That will cost me time to come back to repair the left side door. (2) Also one of recommendations on the above mentioned invoice stated: Battery soon $194.00. So I went to Auto Advance to test its battery installed in my Nissan, Auto Advance ran two different tests: one is battery good: 583/600 and 595/600, and another result of running the car: good 583/600. So what did it mean on invoice?

I have 2007 Altima and at 75k miles the transmission went out. Nissan gave a courtesy warranty extensions for Nissan Altima due to the fact they knew their CVT transmission were crap. I took my car to Torre Nissan in La Quinta Ca where they replaced the transmission because of the warranty. 56k miles later the transmission went out again. This time I called consumer affairs Nissan and dealt with an extremely rude Bernice. Basically when I called them out on faulty products she turned it on me. That I should have gotten my oil changes with Nissan to prevent this. Well, I got my oil changes done at a licensed mechanic shop and oil changes have nothing to do with my transmission. Ok so I took my car to a different dealership. I explained to them this will be the 3rd transmission. The guy told me they will inspect the car and look into finding out why the transmission keeps going out. I received a call 3 hours later letting me know it was indeed the transmission (ouch $3300) but they were able to locate the recurring problem. The transmission was overheating as the cooling system wasnt suffice, basically faulty design. This was something they have been seeing for sometime now. They suggested adding an additional cooling component as they have seen nothing but success by doing this. No more overheating from what they have experienced. Ok so an additional $387 to extend the life of this transmission. So naturally I contact Nissan consumer affairs to report the new findings as had the lasts dealership looked into it. We could have fixed it then to prevent this costly repair. Well once again I got a big screw you from Nissan and the same repeated answer, Unfortunately Nissan will not be able to provide financial assistance on out of warranty repairs. No matter what I said Erick repeated that same statement. So I am screwed because one of their dealerships didnt do their job and look into what caused the transmission failure because it was under warranty. So as a consumer I get screwed. But at first their excuse was I didnt get services at Nissan and now once I provide them with the information that I got the transmission through their dealership it is cause I am 16k over the extended warranty. All I was asking for was a little help. Screw Nissan and I will NEVER buy Nissan again.

Bought this truck about a year ago. Nissan charged me $31000 plus financing and extended warranty up to $45000! Tires were crap. Had to buy new ones @ 40,000K which should have been covered under extended warranty... No tire sensor in the spare tire so if you rotate with the spare your low tire light stays on. Thing rides very uncomfortable... Is it the wheel base or the suspension? Dont know but it feels like there are no shocks at all! Took it in for service lately @ around 60,000 just bought new tires and that service had the wheel alignment package. Anyway there was a problem. My low tire, traction control & 4 X 4 was disabled and the warning lights were on prior to the service about 2 weeks, so I stated the problem on the service order and let them know I was hearing grinding in one of the front wheels and I figured that was the source of the disabled safety features. The service tech said that one of the sensors in the back wheel was damaged and had to be replaced and he somehow determined that we had hit something and damaged it and it was not covered under warranty and wanted $500 for the part, even though it should have been covered under extended warranty! We refused to pay for the part and insisted that we would take it up with the warranty dept. so the tech did not address the original stated problem. He said until we repair the sensor the error code would prevent them from detecting other errors. By this statement I assumed that he obviously did not check out the original stated problem visually either! So he discontinued all other service work till we agreed to pay for the part... so we left... all safety systems disabled. Steaming mad cause the warranty dept was not getting back to us. 2 days later just after Christmas 2013 I rolled the truck into the ditch on an icy back road, injuring myself and my girlfriend and writing-off the truck due to the disabled safety features!

Bought Rogue in April of 2011. It is a 2011 model. Car was BRAND NEW! Approx. 8-12 months later, noticed transmission making high-pitched whining sound. Call Nissan, Norwich, CT where I had purchased vehicle. Was told that the noise was normal for the CVT transmission. So I didnt worry about it after that. Finally in May of 2014, I really thought the transmission wasnt right. I brought it in and paid Norwich Nissan 116.00 diagnostic fee. Was given invoice/statement saying that the transmission had been checked and that no problems were found and that no service needed. Then in November, my transmission suddenly stopped working, and I barely made it home. I was furious! I took it to a local trusted mechanic and he told me the transmission was shot and had been going for a long time! I contacted Nissan Corporate Consumer Affairs and it took over a month of phone calls back and forth for them to finally tell me that that would claim no responsibility because the car was too far out of warranty (82,000 miles). When I first asked Nissan about the car, it probably only had about 24,000 on it. Then in May when they checked the transmission, it had 70,000 miles. I did some research and found several other customers whose transmission had died around 70 - 72,000 miles just like mine. DON’T TRUST NISSAN......VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IF THEY KNOW YOURE RIGHT! I will continue to seek legal action against this company. In the meantime, Ive bought a Mazda, so far very happy with. Am in the process of trying to sell my 30,000 dollar Rogue (now worth about $6,000 without a transmission!).

I bought a 2012 Nissan Murano 7 month ago and the last 5 month its been sitting in the driveway. The cvt transmission has went bye bye at 120 thousands km so I call Nissan Canada. Gave my vin number only to find out that there was an extended warranty bought and paid for already for that Vin/. My 2012 Nissan Murano. But heres the thing. They got the money already for the warranty but was up to them to let the dealership who I bought it from that there was an extended warranty on this vin and was to be transferred to the new owner within 30 days of purchase which they had failed to do so you went on to have camvac do an arbitration and Nissan sent a legal representation and at the end of it all Nissan could care less about their consumers at all and come good and honor the warranty that they already made the money on and fix my vehicle for me. So now Im stuck with a truck that dont run and a loan that I have to pay for 18 thousand and have nowhere to turn. Im a single father thats been raising my 2 girls for the past 7 years alone. I work my butt off to afford to drive and pay for the car and raised my girls and Nissan has all the money in the world and cant do anything or dont even care. So what Im saying is if anyone reads this think twice before you buy any Nissan car or truck. They really dont care about the consumer at all and the transmission on these vehicle are garbage and if you research them you will see all the problems on them cvt transmission. I just dont want anyone else to have to suffer the way I have and for through this. Thank you.

******************************************************************************************************** Published on other sites: https://www.yelp.com/biz/nissan-of-queens-service-ozone-park ********************************************************************************************************I have been taking my 2014 Platinum pathfinder since August 2017 for issues with the vehicle jerking and giving trouble to start. I was told the pulley kit needed to be changed. The following week the suv would not turn on,once it was on the engine light came on. I took the truck to Nissan of Queens , left the truck there for 2 weeks till the transmission came in. When i got my vehicle back i saw my push bar was dented on the passenger side. I took the vehicle back on Monday because it was picked it up while they were closing up so rushing it was not noticed until i got home. The manager Ravi said they were not responsible for the dent. ( My vehicle is always parked in a private driveway and did not have any dents on it) . I called another manager there Sando about 6 times left messages till now i never got a call back. I took my truck back the following week Sept 6th for jerking issues and i saw now they take pictures of each vehicle that goes in for service. They told me they cannot find anything wrong so i contacted consumer affairs. After calling them 3 times i finally got an appt for 10/4/17 . I met with the consumer affairs and as i sat down with him he told me he was only there to discuss the truck. I then realized that the manager Ravi had briefed him on the dent on my truck which occurred on Nissan premises. He told me he would take the truck for a test drive and will let me know what the issues are once he returned. He came back and said he did not experience any issues and he couldnt do anything. I explained to him i spent over $50 K(paid off in 14 mths) on this truck which i only have 3 years now and i was having all the same issues as before. He then told me he would check the fluids after 45 mins he came back and said he found debris in the pan and he would need to order a new transmission. They gave me back my truck 10/4/17 with all the same issues. I left numerous messages for consumer affairs but have not gotten a call back as to when my transmission will be replaced. Now 10/17/17 my daughter got into a accident because when coming to a stop the truck started jerking and hit the vehicle in front of her. I left another message for consumer affairs and awaiting a call back. I am still driving a faulty vehicle and a accident occurred because the the cvt transmission jerking. This will be the 3 rd transmission in 3 mths. Nissan should not be selling vehicles with faulty transmission.

The salesman troy said my credit wasnt good, only qualified for the Nissan Rogue, I could get refinanced in 3 months to lower my payment. The finance guy ran my credit 15 times without my permission and he wont remove the it by calling the credit bureaus. He had me sign the papers for a lender only to call me a week later and say the deal fell thru. Come back in and resign. When I refused and said I wanted to cancel the deal, he became loud and disgruntled. He said, You cant change your mind and we already sold your vehicle. I tried to refinance 3 months later and was told by the lender they dont do refinance on their loans. Now I am stuck with a high payment.

Bought my 2013 Nissan Sentra Sr used with over 60k car in Dec 2015, long story short my car is suffering from transmission failure, the rpms will shoot up high and drop down low, my car will then start to stall and not want to go any fast than 10 mph!!! No matter how hard you hit the accelerator it will not speed up! I had to pull over before a car could have hit me and once I stopped it would not move at all, not in reverse not in drive nothing! I had to get a tow truck to tow my car back to my house and even then the driver told me that I’m better off buying a new car. I’m so upset, as to I owe 10k on it still and am looking at a 5k bill fixing it! I tried trading in the car to find out my cars value is only 3k!!! I contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs office and was told there was nothing that could be done about my transmission problem, they did let me know there was a recall about the seatbelts yet I can’t even use my seatbelt due to my car being a death trap! BEWARE OF NISSAN AND THEIR TRASH CARS!!!

I leased a brand new 2013 Nissan Altima SV a year ago (March 2013), 36 month lease, vehicle had 15 miles as a brand new lease. Gorgeous redesigned vehicle with all the bells and whistles that a consumer would really enjoy. In Feb. 2014 after an oil change at the dealer leased from, and with only 3,700 miles driven in less than a year, parked the car at a Parking Stall, in my development, car stopped, foot on the brake, while switching gears while parked and foot on the brake, while trying to shift gears from Drive to Park, car took off on its own, with an unintended acceleration and landed in the building in front of the parking spot (jumped the curb), causing an $8,000 damage to the vehicle that had no mechanical problems when purchased.Nissan Dealer when oil change, ran their inspection report and gave me a clean bill of health on this brand new car. I asked them about any recalls Nissan might have and all they said was, yes, the air bags are under recall, but you should BE FINE???? They did not have time to check they said, and when they ran their inspection report they said everything was fine...not sure how everything is fine when you only spend 15 minutes changing the oil and running inspection reports.I reported this accident to the dealer leased from and the dealer ignored me and said, we do not manufacture the vehicle. They were willing to RENT me another vehicle at $50 per day, or lease me a brand new one while I am still responsible for the lease in the malfunctioned vehicle, so they can profit from. No loaner offered. Reported this to Nissan Consumer Affairs, who I spent my personal time speaking with them for weeks and after several weeks of reporting this, they finally sent an investigator on 3/10, to the body shop where my vehicle is sitting not been able to repair, because Nissan Consumer Affairs was dragging their feet. Vehicle inspected for several hours on 3/10 and the latest from Nissan Consumer Affairs, sorry we cannot do anything for you until we get a report from the Nissan Investigator in a few weeks??? In the meantime, I am responsible for paying the lease payments and Nissan Lease company, offered me on option of getting out of the lease, if I paid them $6,000 since I have the lease for two more years, and never been late in payments. I know for a fact that I did not put my foot on the accelerator, while already stopped and lost control of the vehicle like this vehicle was possessed. The insurance company, is willing to give me the payment for repairs, but Nissan with their investigations prevented this, and needless to say, I am afraid after collision repairs to drive an unsafe vehicle that malfunctioned on its own. This vehicle obviously was not safe. If one of my neighbors was walking in front of this vehicle I could have killed someone, instead this vehicle was responsible for property damage and I have been without a vehicle that I am paying for over ONE MONTH.This has not only caused me time off work, medical bills for a head injury I did not know I had during this impact, but still have no solution and Nissan Consumer affairs seems too busy with other issues to worry about one more consumer complaining. If I was dead perhaps a better investigation will have taken place. How many other incidents have not been reported.

Nissan consumer affairs, its a joke. I contacted them 6 months after buying a brand new Nissan Rogue. That 1st week my car started having problems. I took it to Nissans service multiple times. They did not record anything in their system and told me the car was fine. My passenger air bag light stays on at all times and a noise on the drivers strut (wheel) every time you take a right turn. So a manager drove the car, said everything was okay. So again they sent me home worried. A week later again I take the car to service, they said the car was fine. Then in September 2013 I took it again to Nissan service. They again said nothing is wrong. I asked for a manager, he again said nothing wrong with the car. So I let it go until I saw other cars (Rogue 2013s) and not one had the issue that I have. So in December I took it again to service. They again said nothing wrong, this time I spoke with a female manager name ** in Cherry Hill, NJ. Then she decided to go in the back to check the car with me and saw what was going on. She agreed that the car was not right, she kept the car in service and gave me a rental. The car stayed in service for over a month because they could not detect any issues, then they get A professional mechanic and he replaced both front struts and the sensor of the air bag. It was okay for 3 hrs then the same thing happened again. I called them and told them the same issue is happening again. They kept the car again and they still couldnt find the problem. So they gave up, I guess, and told me again nothing wrong. I contacted consumer affairs and they pretty much did nothing. They told me if I didnt want to drive the car to the service and get it towed, I was going to be responsible for the fees. I fear driving my new car. How great is that??? So I contacted lemon law. They told lemon law that they wanted to offer me $2000 for the inconvenience. HELL NO I dont want money I was to feel same in my car. Thats why I bought a new car so I didnt have to drive back and forth to the car service.

I filed complaints with Bakersfield Nissan, Dept. of Consumer Affairs and Better Business to no avail. Then I filed the complaint with Nissan. Last February I purchased a 2006 (used) Nissan Murano which had 33,660 on the odometer. I had a hard time getting credit due to a 3-year divorce action, which messed up my credit. Bakersfield Nissan ended up making paper work for three different credit agencies. With this voluminous amount of paper work, I didnt read everything. When I purchased the car, I was not informed there wasnt any warranty on it. I should have been told this and offered an extended warranty. The sales manager tried to tell me it was my responsibility and I told him (cant say it) in no kind words. I worked as Office Manager-Accountant for 4 dealerships back in Rhode Island, one being an AMC-Datsun-Peugeot dealership in Provided operated by the Gabrolowitze brothers back in the late 60s.While going over the car with the salesman I pointed out several items that had to be fixed, including a dent below rear tail light, missing tire caps, dent on rear aluminum panel below trunk, loose visor (drivers side), etc. I told him Id wait; bring it in after a few weeks in case of something else was wrong. When I returned, the salesman wasnt there, so I brought it to repair shop. They gave me a bill for $2,000.00 and I left in a huff. Before a couple weeks I noticed oil leaked on my driveway and thought it was the transmission. I was informed by the service manager that the power steering ($800.00) was leaking and needed to be replaced. The visor cost was $400.00. They were only going to repair the damage at the paint shop. After much complaining, they fixed the visor but that was it. You should have copy of my December 7th letter complaining about all this.I ended up paying $400.00 for something else as the power steering element was okay. Then the alternator went and I had that repaired for another $410.00. I can see that nothing was done to prep this car for sale. I brought it to EZ Lube for an oil change ($40.00); American Tire (4 Michelin tires) at $813.00. I know this would be my obligation, but mileage was only 54,284. To ensure tires would last, I had front end alignment at Pep Boys ($75.00).I told people at Nissan I would never set foot in their establishment again and have not been a good ambassador for Nissan. They kept sending me service reminders. So Id call and told them to remove my name from their customers. I am almost 80 and have had many cars in my life but not a Nissan. In the late 60s I purchased a Datsun, 210Z for my daughter. Most of the vehicles I purchased were Fords. Also, Chevys, VWs and Toyotas.Going back to the contract, when I wasnt offered an extended warranty they charged me $695.00 for GAP insurance which I didnt want. This money could have been used for a warranty. I cancelled it before the 90 days and received a refund. Also, after all the complaints I filed, the sales manager offered me an extended warranty $100.00 over his cost to which I declined and told him it was too late and should have occurred in February when I could have had it included on my contract. I found the salesmans card: Alex **, a Filipino friend of a friend of mine.

Buyers beware! I am so extremely disappointed and frustrated with this company who refuses to help their customers in order to make some extra money in their pocket. They have unethical billing practices. I not only leased two vehicles from them but have only been a customer for less than 2 months and regret ever going into business with them. I have been on the phone with so many of their reps and supervisors, people feeding me different ** and after more time, stress and headache, never getting to an actual solution, but rather the way they would have it, money for them and an unhappy customer. This company is known for their terrible billing practices. Even the Mass Turnpike knew I had a Nissan without me giving any personal account information because this is what Nissan does. Thats a good reputation you’ve built for yourself Nissan. I hope I can help the next potential buyer so that when they read this, they go get a Honda instead. Trust me, you will regret getting into business with this company. I am seriously looking into getting a lawyer about this because this is just wrong. I made it so easy for them to resolve the issue, but they keep coming back with ridiculous reasons for why they cannot do that. If I was with another dealer, this would not even be an issue I would have to be resolving.

Ive bought Nissan Almera (Nissan Teana, name in Thailand) on Dec. 2013 and feel some vibration during the ride in the third week. Id contacted with the dealer to tell the problem Ive found. I made an appointment to check whats wrong with my car. After checking, they tell me that my car is normal. After that Ive found jerky in the second month. After consulting with the technicians from Jatco, they indicated theres a problem from the gear and propose to change the gear for me.I hardly accept this. I bought a new car; like any customers, I hopefully find the normal car, at least; no problem, anxiety-free, safety indeed, no need to fix or change the primary compartment of the car (in my opinion, gear is the significant compartment of the car) in a short time. During the arguments, Ive found some ignorance and worst of all, the representative gave a lie to me!! I wrote the letter to Nissan Japan and Nissan Motor Thailand but it didnt help. Nissan Japan said that Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has complete authority over Nissans product and service in Thailand. Now that the lemon law in Thailand is not strong enough, all I can do is to tell anyone in Thailand, and also in another country about the problem. By now there are customers in Thailand facing the same problem. Finally, I will not recommend NISSAN to anyone in Thailand or anywhere.

I bought a Certified Used 2010 Nissan Murano SL with 31,339 miles on 01/31/2013 from Crowley Chrysler Plymouth, Inc. I also opted for the Nissan Security Plus Extended Protection Plan when I bought the car. I am very happy with the car and all of the car’s features. It is exactly what my wife and I needed. I do, however, have one issue since buying the car.On 03/11/2013, I took the car in to my local dealer for routine servicing. The car had 34,099 miles at the time. The dealer asked if the car had its 30,000 mile servicing. I did not know, but I assumed the answer was yes since the car was certified. I had attempted to get the service records on the car from Crowley, but they declined to give them to me saying that there were privacy concerns giving me another client’s maintenance records (I thought this was odd at the time, but did not challenge it). My current dealer offered to check with Crowley service to see if the car did in fact receive its 30,000 mile servicing. The answer he got was no. So I requested that this servicing be done and also asked for the car to be inspected.Upon receiving my bill, I was a little shocked. The bill was $1,393.01! Here is what was done: 30,000 mile required maintenance per Nissan manual; the car needs 4 new tires to pass inspection. The rear two tires tread was below standard, and the front two were very close to being below standard. Since this is an all-wheel drive car, the dealers recommended that all four tires be replaced. I agreed; and the alignment was out on all four tires, therefore an alignment was required. Since I was buying a certified used car, I did not expect any of these issues to be present. Question: shouldnt these issues have been taken care of by the dealer that sold me the car? Resolution: after several conversations with Nissan, I was told that there was nothing that Nissan could do, and that I should try to work something out with the two dealerships.Nissan Certified Vehicles Program is a scam. It allows the dealership to ask more for a certified vehicle, but gives the client no assurance that they are getting something in the deal. Unless you are willing to check all of the 150+ items on the certified checklist prior to purchase, you will be holding the bag if something is wrong later. In my case, the rear tires were just in spec. (5/32) at the dealership where I bought the car and not able to be inspected (2/32) on my first visit to my local dealership a little over 2,000 miles later. Nissan did not stand behind their process and left me in the middle between two dealerships - a losing proposition for anyone finding themselves in this position.

We ask the salesman for a truck so we could have a tow pkg. He brought us a car and said that it could tow and he would have the tow pkg put on and give us extra money besides. He said the car had around 100,000 miles. That was where my husband and I failed. Not expecting liars for salesman. Older bald man, I don’t know his name. He will lie and tell anything, use pressure tactics won’t even try to find what youre really looking for. After the papers were signed he said oh we can’t do that. We went back the next morning to take the car back and to talk to the Mgr he said forget yesterday, I didn’t want to forget the day before cause I lost money. He said pick something else. I had to get something else and got less trade in and lost more money. The Mgr stuck with his salesman’s lies. I’m very hurt financially I traded a Toyota that was worth more by far. I’m very hurt and angry that this is their policy for selling cars.

I have a 2012 Rogue which I got brand new from a Nissan dealership in Virginia. I now live in California. Have 80K miles on it. 4 years and 2 months later, one minor part, and TWO major parts had to be replaced: the Mass Air Flow Sensor, the Torque converter, and the air-conditioning compressor, the last two breaking down at the same time. NISSAN wouldnt refund the repairs because they say the job was not done by their certified NISSAN dealer mechanic, who, by the way, couldnt figure out the first time that all they needed replaced was the Mass Air Flow Sensor, and some other part, which their expert they flew in to California from somewhere had to figure out for them. Its out of the Lemon Law period, by the way. I will not recommend ANY Nissan to my worst enemy.

I own a 2003 350z Touring and the outside door handles are complete crap. I dont know if this is planned obsolescence, but the fact that they are made out of cheap plastic and break all the time is ridiculous. Ive been to many Nissan forums and EVERYONE with this model car has had the same issues. Why has there been no recall if its such a popular issue? The plastic on the inside of the handle that holds the spring in place constantly breaks into pieces from the pressure. Also, the window motors have both recently gone out. I had to crawl through the hatch to get in my car today and since the hydraulics went out on the hatch, that made it that much more of a hassle. All of this and I have only had the car for 6 months. What next? I have owned many cars but this is my first Nissan and Ive never felt like there was planned obsolescence like I have with this car. Does anyone know how something gets recalled?

In August of 2014 I purchased a year end Model Altima, my trade was a 2011 Nissan rogue for which I still owed 13000 on. I was given more than I owed on the trade. The sale from this point upon hindsight was extremely sketchy. There was no negotiation on the price of the new car. They simply presented you with 3 payment plans and dollar amounts for repayment so as the price of the vehicle was never mentioned. (There was zero negotiation.) We were just simply taken advantage of because of the excitement we had of owning the new vehicle... Forward to today, we are looking to turn the 2 vehicles we own into 1 vehicle but upon looking up the value of the Altima we would be 7000 under water with its current value. Almost impossible. I can see a thousand or 2 but 7 is just wrong and this dealership is just extremely bad and sketchy. If I were you, I would look elsewhere or consider yourself married til your final payment with what you buy from them. They will prey on you and take advantage of you through their sales tactics. Its sad. They should look to make good on bad deals that people like me call them out on!!!

The Nissan was a smooth ride and engine was quiet but there were other problems that made the car very weak although the price was very good. Had so many problems that I traded in car for another and service was not that great with replacement parts needed often and the same problem kept occurring which made me question whether car make was viable. There were many problems with fuel pump that had to be replaced several times and gas tank was very small so had to fill up frequently and originally car just stalled in the middle of the road when driving due to malfunctioned fuel pump which was very dangerous.

Should have been obvious that: 1) Engine shouldnt fail at 60,000 miles (Nissan mechanics have told me that engine is bullet-proof), 2) engine oil in radiator indicates some level of engine failure.

I recently purchased a car from a Nissan Dealer and there was no mention about returning the car if you were not satisfied. I emailed the salesman who practically forced me to sign the deal and he has yet to respond. I was satisfied with the car until night time came and realized how important the extra features would have been. There are no power windows, no power locks, no light on the ignition keyhole, not even a mirror on the sun visor. Im basically paying for a 2015 glorified golf cart for the next 6 years. Im not saying I want to walk away completely from the deal because I know how much these clowns value their commission, but Id like to purchase a better car for the money.

I have a vehicle that is out of warranty. My dashboard (not the vinyl) is cracking into several pieces. I brought it to the dealer who, after examining my vehicle, suggested I express my problem to the customer service division. My claim was denied, although this is clearly due to no fault of my own but rather by someone who did not observe the problem. This is a clear statement by Nissan that they do not stand by their product even if that product - that I worked extremely hard to pay for and kept up to diligently - is defective.

My case was open in November 2019. My vehicle under warranty needs repair. More than 3 months has passed. Repair has not been authorized. I purchased a NV3500 in 2017. It has 5 year warranty. I found very serious rust problem on the roof and took the van to local dealer for diagnostic examination. The case was open in November 2019. The local dealer sent the report to General Nissan Consumer Affair on Dec 30, 2020, waiting for instruction to do the repair. However since then, we have been waiting and waiting.Every time I try to call the specialist in General Nissan Consumer Affairs who is in charge of my case, he wont pick up my phone call. When he calls back, he left message without information I missed your call, please call me back, my phone number is **. The worst thing is, there are three times I happened to pick up his call, but he hung up right after I picked up the call. I requested to communicate with email, but I only received the initial email when the case was open in November 2019. Basically he avoids talking to me and purposely delay the response to my case. I dropped my van in local dealer which is 60 miles away from my home in November 2019 waiting for the repair. In the meantime I requested a rental car to use, but the local dealer doesnt have one. I have other vehicles like Toyota and have never had problem to contact the consumer service or the dealer. I have never thought that Nissan has so bad consumer service and hope Nissan can solve this complaint after my case has been filed for almost 3 three months, still waiting, no car to use.

Bought the used 2012 Nissan Sentra S in July and after starting to drive it, kept hearing a popping and clunking noise coming from the passenger side rear area. Pops and snaps when turning the wheel right and braking and straightening the steering. I have spoken with other owners of the Nissan Sentra and they have the same issues. Some customers have spent lots of money trying to resolve the issue but I think Nissan needs to step up and take the responsibility for a faulty design. Other Nissans owners are having the same issues. Scary to drive and seems difficult to diagnose, but may be coming from the steering or wheel area. Please help us to keep the reviews positive for Nissan here in Smyrna but at this point it is not a pleasant experience.

When I purchased a 2011 Nissan Frontier, I was asked, How would you like your payments to be made? Through automatic withdrawal or through mail? I clearly stated that I would like an online account that would draft my payments automatically on the 17th day of every month. When I first discovered that payments were being taken from my online account and through mail, I contacted my bank to stop the payment. I then contacted Nissan to inform them I did not want my account being drafted twice a month. Fast forward to a year later: the same thing, but only this time Nissan Finance writes an email to me apologizing for mistakenly drafting twice out of my account. I took the initiative to cancel one of the two payments that they were taking. Once I did, Nissan did the same thing; therefore, no payment was received for the month of July. Harassing phone calls everyday all day began approximately 4 days after. I spoke with a lot of callers (all of which I cant understand due to language barriers). I explained my grievance and they said, Sorry, but you now must make a payment for last month.” I find this company to be poorly run, disorganized and filled with negligence across the board. I can promise that this Nissan 2011 Frontier will be the last Nissan I buy and I will gladly share this story with anyone interested in buying a Nissan.

I was asked to send the document back before March 4th or my account would be late and I would be assessed a late fee, which I had agreed to. I called back on the Feb 28th because I hadnt received the document yet and it was getting close to the deadline of the account being late and I didnt want to get a late fee. The rep I spoke to on the 28th said the document was sent on the 26th and I should receive it any day. I was also was told the whole process would take 2 days. The rep I spoke with said he was waiving the late fee because of this delay. I asked if the document could be faxed over to me to expedite the process. I was told an original signature was needed so I couldnt get it faxed. Finally on the 6th when I still hadnt received the paperwork, I asked again if the letter could be faxed. At that time I was given a fax number and was told a late fee would be assessed. When I told the rep on the 6th that my late fee was supposed to be waived, she told me the paperwork I was signing specifies I would be responsible for any late fees. I signed the paperwork and faxed it back and also mailed it on the 7th. Im writing this today because I just received the document on March 8th and the envelope was post marked March 3rd which means it wasnt sent out on the 26th like I was told and I was going to be late anyway because of the 2 days it was going to take to process and now there is a late of $22.00. I am requested the late fee be taken off the account effective immediately due to the lack of urgency on the part of NMAC. I am very disappointed with service I have received.

I was at Nissan for an oil change and after they were finished the Service Department presented me with a $300 bill. Air Filter, Brake Fluid; minor items. Then the Tires which is really the reason why I am writing. NISSAN ROTATED MY TIRES AND NEVER PERFORMED AN ALIGNMENT!!! I have spoken to at least 3 experts that informed me the tires were worn from the inside out. How CRAZY is this!!! I had to replace my tires for $700 just recently and have the bill now to submit the highest person that runs NISSAN. I want to be compensated for a pro-rate on my tires. I will pursue this matter with Nissan until I cant talk anymore. Literally! The sad part is that I am disabled and putting 2 sons through College so they get a decent chance in life to chase their dreams. I cannot afford these tires. Another sad issue is my Parents always owned American made Cars and I talked them into buying a Nissan Rogue and then a Sentra. How Sad! I want help with compensation on my tires. I have all the documentation.

I learned there is a recall on my transmission that went out 3 months after I purchased the car. I called Nissan North America and they told me I could not get any assistance in getting my transmission fixed. They said because I had a salvage title and non Nissan parts on my car. That was a lie. Then they told me it was because I am out of the mile range. I have documentation when I was in mileage range of the replacement that there was nothing wrong but needed a flush. Went and got one and then they documented that it needed a new one.Their store told me call them. They should help me replace it. I called and they said Sorry you are over miles. Cant do anything? The worst possible customer service ever. I would never purchase another Nissan again. Horrible!!! Nissan is so great and backs their products up. Well I surely am not seen it. There are many complaints about this and theyre doing nothing. It should be illegal! Since I was unaware of the situation the amount went past due and I got a 30 day late notice on my otherwise perfect (770+) credit rating. I own a 2009 Nissan Rogue and my transmission just went out. I understand completely that a vehicle is a vehicle and all vehicles will have problems every now and then. What I dont understand is why the heck is Nissan still marketing their vehicles with the CVT transmissions? I know a lot of people who owned a Altima, Maxima, Murano and I asked the question of why did you guys get rid of your vehicles? Their responses were they started to hear grinding noises coming from the transmission and the transmission would idle past 2k rpms at a complete stop and once they take off the transmission would change gears so hard that it felt like they were being rear ended and so they didnt trust the CVT transmission and got rid of their vehicle before any major mechanical issues occurred. Three weeks ago I began experiencing the same problem and Sunday June 14th I went to turn into the grocery store parking lot and tried to give it a little more gas and all it did was idle and then immediately my service engine light kept flashing. I had the vehicle towed to a Nissan dealership and it was confirmed my transmission went out and to top it off they are non repairable. So not only do I not have a vehicle but I am also making a very decent payment on the vehicle and my warranty has expired. To everyone out there looking to purchase a Nissan. I highly recommend that you do not buy their products until they discontinue the CVT transmissions. If youre interested in how Nissan vehicles look rather than the quality of the vehicle then have at it. Trust me when I say you will be glad you didnt purchase any of their vehicles with the CVT transmission. I only wish I wouldve done my homework before purchasing my vehicle.

I notified Carriage Nissan in Gainesville Georgia and was told it must be a loose gas cap. I was told to continue to drive the car. After 1 week and 700 miles, I took the car in for service and was told I need a new transmission.I contacted Nissan Consumer affairs and stated my displeasure and asked specifically that the car be replaced. After about 15 days, I was notified by Nissan that they would extend the car warranty to 8 years/120k miles with a gold preferred package and Oil/ Gas/Tire rotation service package for 2 years. It was more or less a take it or leave it proposition. We bought a brand new Nissan Sentra 2013, have had problems with it and has been in to be repaired and told every time that that is normal. Problem 1: had rattling in dashboard. Told several times that is normal. Transmission doesnt always shift until you are 2 plus miles in, that is normal. Area around the door, that is normal (this is brand new car). The passenger seat belt will lock and you cannot move, have to unclasp and let it go all the way back and start fresh, that is normal. This doesnt happen every day. But come on, new and all this. We have been battling with this issue for over a year. Will not buy or tell anyone Nissan is anything but a high-risk car. We are senior citizens and cannot afford costly repairs, thus reason we bought NEW. Now trying to pay off and get Toyota, Honda, anything but NISSAN. Long post... So I purchased a car brand new this past June (less than 3 months ago) from Gunn Nissan in San Antonio’s. Regret #1, buying from Gunn Nissan - bad delivery of a new vehicle. Regret #2, buying a Nissan - I have a lemon and want Nissan to buy it back. This has been an awful few months as a Nissan owners. Two major issues... Delivery of my new vehicle and major mechanical issue.First of all - when I purchased the 2019 Nissan Armada platinum reserved brand new...there were deep scratches in the paint of the bumper and the bumper guard. I noticed this before driving off - shame on me for taking it then. A couple attempts at repairing it - photo attached of first repair when they had it for 24hrs and literally dabbed on some touch up paint (not very well) and left the bumper guard as is. It was finally painted in the body shop (yes, my brand new car) and it appeared that they sprayed bed liner on the bumper guard to cover those scratches. I was not happy with the repair but then again...there was nobody even there to ask how I felt or sign paperwork. I’m a busy person (single mom, 3 kids, multiple jobs and activities and it was not high on my priority list as it had already taken so much of my time. Shame on me again for not making a bigger fuss then).Oh - and it only came with one key and they had to locate floor mats and take from a different vehicle since they couldn’t find the ones that came with mine. I had to go back on a Friday when the person who could program a new car keys was in since they couldn’t locate the second key. I did ask by the way during this time to please just trade it in for a similarly equipped vehicle and the manager was happy to tell me that he’d give me blue book value... It was less than two weeks old at this point and already they had attempted the first cosmetic repair.Fast forward a couple months. Last week I got a message - BCI malfunction and it wouldn’t start. Eventually got it started while waiting for the tow truck and just a few minutes later I couldn’t get it out of park. Took it to dealership next morning. REPAIR #1 Thursday - dropped it off at 8am and picked it up around 2:30 pm that afternoon. They replaced the brake switch - didn’t make it a mile down the road when the same BCI malfunction light came on, turned around and took it right backREPAIR #2 - dropped it off Thursday afternoon around 2:30 pm picked it up Friday around noon. They replaced the brake sensor. Made it about 3 miles this time and the same message came on again... BCI malfunction. Called this time furious and they offered to pick up the car from my work. They pick up my car around 3pm and had it Friday, Saturday (their service dept is open all day Saturday), and Monday - I got a call on Monday around 3:45 which they left a voicemail because I was on the phone with Nissan USA regarding my case and replied to an email I had sent earlier that day checking on the status of repair. In the email and on the voicemail they clearly stated they had replaced the front end collision sensor and did the alignment for it, test drove the Armada and no lights came on. So it was ready but they said they would keep it until the next day (Tues) to drive it again just to be safe. I consider this to have been REPAIR #3 since it was the third part and attempt at repairing it.I emailed Tuesday afternoon thinking I would have had my car by now since the Monday test drive went well. The service advisor replied saying that it looks good and they were out test driving it and if it worked they’d bring it to me shortly. Got an email about an hour later saying they were going to order another part. So to me... REPAIR #4 attempt. I replied... So the light went off again huh and they said yes. Got an email Wed afternoon that part was in and replaced but they wanted to again keep it overnight to be safe. Thursday everything was still good and they delivered my Armada to me Thursday late morning. When they delivered the car the paperwork did not include repair #3 so I didn’t want to sign paperwork. I called the service advisor who told me they never replaced the front sensor even though I have an email and a voicemail stating that they did and it had been completed. He tells me it’s a miscommunication and I didn’t understand but nothing had been replaced. I reluctantly signed the paperwork but figured since I knew I had the voicemail & email as back up I would be good.Lemon law states that you must attempt the same repair 4 times to be considered a lemon. Am I crazy to think it’s a lemon or should I be happy that I don’t have the BCI malfunction message??? The fact that I have them caught in an outright lie is very concerning and shady. This is such an abbreviated version - if you’d like a longer version I have it typed up and ready to share with you - just message me.I could go on and on about how nobody returns calls as well but that’s all just petty I guess at this point and my main concern is a vehicle that is less than three months old with this many issues and the lack of response and deceitfulness of the dealership repairing it. Can’t get through to a manager or get a call returned on many occasions. Once you buy the car they could CARE LESS as soon as that paperwork is signed. I will say that I feel both my salesperson and service advisor were both very nice and just had their hands tied by Gunn management.

I know these complaints are mostly about Nissan Muranos. I presently own a 08 Nissan Rogue in which my transmission went out on me while on road trip from North Carolina. I purchased it from Nissan dealership in 2011 with approximately 50k. I presently have 121k miles. When I found it was the transmission I did some research because as long I have been driving I know transmission dont go out on cars at 121k. I called Nissan consumer care and found out that an extended warranty is on Rogue transmissions. Being that I had 121k I ask about the mileage on warranty at 120k. I was told mileage didnt matter and take to Nissan dealership. The dealership diagnosed as needing a new transmission. I found a letter on Nissan website stating that the warranty on CVT transmission had been extended to 120k /10 yrs from 60k 5 yrs. The letter also states that even past warranty mileage that decrease in repair cost would occur by Nissan. After speaking with Nissan Ive been told that no previous problem with transmission and being out of warranty they couldnt assist me with my transmission. Doing further research there are many people having/had issues with the CVT transmissions in Rogue/Muranos. I spoke with a few mechanics who said that transmissions dont fail @121k and Nissan had issues with CVT transmission. Right now I feel Im caught in rock and hard place. I have to spend $3500-$4000 for a major repair for a car that Im still paying for. I have purchased 3 prior Nissans and always thought highly for their cars. I believe that Nissan is trying to deflect responsibility for having a defective part. I just want Nissan to own up and replace it in good faith. I like the car, but after this Ill seriously consider and likely purchasing other brands and models of auto other than Nissans

My airbag light came on and my passenger air bag indicator showed off. I took to my local mechanic who told me there was a voluntary recall P8242 and therefore I needed to go to a dealership since this was covered under warranty. I took my vehicle to Haldeman Nissan in Hamilton NJ and was told it was not covered due to the wrong vin #. I should call Nissan consumer affairs. I was told someone would be back to me by end of day next day. That morning after supplying all information including quote of 4911.52 from dealership to repair (lined up exactly to recall repair) told nothing they could do since wrong vin #. I consider this not standing behind their product. A known issue and they will not fix a vehicle with approximately 60k miles. Last Nissan I will purchase. Also told by mechanic transfer case leaking and due to rust on my rotors they should be replaced. A small amount of rust accumulated since I had been on vacation and car was not used. Felt like they were trying to pull a fast one. Back to Ford/Mazda for me.

I have a 2007 Nissan Altima 2.5s whose safety/emissions failed because of a faulty catalytic converter. W/o knowing that all vehicles in US have a warranty on catalytic converter for 8 years or 80,000 miles (whichever comes first), I got it replaced at a local shop after ordering the part myself from Auto Zone. Part + labor cost close to $500. I came across some info about the warranty coverage on the internet and argued with my local shop how they kept me in the dark about the warranty especially when its the same terms for every make and model. So anyway, I called Nissans consumer affairs up and notified them of what happened and that I was rerouted to them by our local Nissan dealer. After a billion phone calls, I could finally get to someone who was willing to help and asked me to fax all the documents - bills, labor charges, safety/emission inspection reports etc. I did and they never replied. After another million calls to them, they returned with one call and said they cant do any reimbursement since it was done at a local shop and not a Nissan dealer. I told them beforehand the whole situation even before I faxed the documents. They couldve just saved me time and money by telling the same upfront. On the last call (Glenda, who handled my case) just kept yapping away, that theyre sorry they cant make any reimbursement. It was just a waste of time with these people. Ive always been a loyal customer of Honda and Toyota and swayed a bit 4 years ago by purchasing this piece of junk. Never a Nissan again - not just because of their crappy products which most of them have shuddering issues, but their awful customer service! If only they went out of business before Carlos Ghosn took over...

In 2014 my husband and I bought a brand new 2014 Nissan Rogue. I thought I had my dream car; little did I know, it was a nightmare car. In the last three years we have owned the car it has been in the shop at least 5 times for repairs that were covered under our warranty and two other times for voluntary recalls. I knew there was something not right with the transmission less than a year after we purchased the car. It made funny noises and jumped when changing gears. After 2 and a half years and many attempts to have Nissan look into the problem they finally replaced the transmission when it about fell out in their parking lot! Now, less than a month after having the transmission replaced, I am sitting here trying to get the air conditioning looked at cause there seems to be a leak that WAS NOT there before the transmission replacement. Nissan corporate has refused a buyback and I am stuck with a new car that I am still paying for that is still under warranty which has more problems than any used car Ive ever had!!

I purchased a car from Nissan for my son so that he could get to school safely. We test drove the car together (fully loaded with GPS sirius XM). After we completed the details of the car purchase, my son got the car and drove off. I made the fatal mistake of trusting the salesman. I did not realize the mistake until I asked to borrow my sons car. BLUF, I contacted, Nissan the internet manager called, recorded our conversation and she kept pausing in 5 min intervals as if she were thinking of how to find words to tell me I had the right car. She asked if I came in on the 16K special, I said no, I thought I was getting the car that had sirius XM and GPS. So then she tells me my salesman was out of the country and then she said another far fetch explanation. I contacted Nissan Corp and was assigned a case # so Heidi calls me every 3 days while I am at work or when she is about to leave for the day to check the block to ask if the manager of Bowie Nissan has contacted me. I returned her call and left a message asking to receive an email and she said she is unable to write an email. I was very specific in a detail letter and she leaves a message to say to call her if I have concerns. I will never refer my friends to Bowie Nissan and yes I have many friends who are in need a car including my daughter. I will refer then to Acura, Acura does not rip off its customers. The financial advisor lied initially to me about qualifying for a higher loan and I have excellent credit. The bank gave me a much better loan than Nissan tried to offer for less years. I have seen cars that are clearly marked Altima 2.5S. The paperwork noting what is attached to the vehicle also coincides to read Altima 2.5S. My sons car says ALTIMA S and his paperwork says ALTIMA 2.5S. The fair thing for Nissan to do would be to add the features that we paid for. We have paperwork that clearly says 2.5S

I initially took in my 2008 Nissan 350Z roadster convertible to Tony Nissan to have them repair the convertible roof because it is not fully closing into its compartment. They looked at it and eight hours later, said that they couldnt find anything wrong with it. They even showed me that it was working before leaving.Later that day, I wanted to test it out for myself. And much to my dismay, the same problem occurred. Being busy with work, etc., I wasn’t able to take it back in immediately. I was under warranty and thought I had time (my mileage at the time was under 36K). When I took it again (about a month and a half later) stating that it was not fixed, they tried to charge me for $350.00 just to look at it because now, my warranty had expired. I was under the impression that my warranty was going to expire at 60K or five years. Of course, I refused to pay that outrageous fee and left.I then returned at Tony Nissan with my husband and he demanded to speak to a manager. They looked at my vehicle at no cost but said they needed to contact Nissan corporate to get an approval to cover the cost of the repair. Three weeks thereafter, Nissan denied my claim stating that 1) I didnt have enough history with maintaining my vehicle and 2) my warranty is expired. This is such an incredible injustice for Nissan should have fixed the problem initially while my vehicle was under warranty. My vehicle is maintained immaculately with regular oil changes, etc. I intend to sue Nissan corporate and Tony Nissan to recoup the costs to repair my vehicle. Furthermore, I will not trust any brand with the Nissan name.

I came across the mission of your company on your website. Since months I have serious and justified doubts on this mission. Let me explain: My Nissan Trail (1 year old - warranty) that I bought last year in January 2016 in Windhoek, Namibia has been under repair since 27 August 2016 until today (!) after an engine jamming. A long story of promises by the local Nissan dealer has been culminating in a statement by the dealer last Monday, 6 March 2017: We are sorry the engine has no compression and we have to bring it back to repair to the engine workshop. So I am waiting now for more than 7 months for my car with now not any prediction when it is going to be ready. And if it is could Nissan warrant that it is functioning? Engine repair is not standard anymore in Europe, but is overtaxed to customers in Africa. All this questions and more in detail I addressed in a written complaint to Nissan South Africa with not any answer so far. I hope you can address this mismatch between your mission and my experience as soon as possible. A frustrated customer.

Nissan has known their transmissions were faulty and yet did not make the consumers aware. When our transmission had to be replaced, their response was for us to join the class action lawsuit. We paid $3500 for the replacement to Nissan and they couldnt offer to pay at least half. Only offered us lip service. We are very good car owners and usually keep our cars a long time without major repairs. Never Nissan again. We are not unique, hence the reason of the class action suit.

I traded in a car at Nissan in July 2011 and purchased a new one. In December 2011, I received two warrants for unpaid parking tickets on the car I traded in July. The tickets were issued in November of this year. Every time I call Melloy Nissan, they will tell me they will take care of it and call me back. No one has returned my calls after numerous messages. The old car is still registered to me and in my name. The license plate was never changed.I have to go to Metro Court, set up a court date with a judge, go back on my court date, show that I dont own the car and hopefully get the tickets dismissed. Until I find the time to go to the courthouse, I could possibly be arrested for unpaid parking warrants. Also, what if someone commits a crime in that car that is still registered to me? I am very concerned.

I am so shocked as suddenly at the end of my term of financing with Nissan financing when I called them as a payment of 375.00 had not been taken from my account at christmas. I have had the lease/financing with them for over four years now. Then they suddenly mentioned in passing that I had maybe 7 or 8 NSF FEES on a past due account!! I said that I had never heard of this before and if so why had someone not/never contacted me by phone, email or letter to inform me of this. I have had no knowledge of this. Why did they not contact me prior. This is not reflected in my bank statements or monthly online statements. If it is a bank error I still require some proof or a letter or statement from them they will not give it. I have always received my mail from them before!! Now all I get is calls and threats form them BUT as I have asked repeatedly for a statement of bill or something on paper regards this. They say they sent it. I have received nothing and how can I pay fees. I have never been informed of fees, not missed payments. I have no missed payment except for the one they did not take out at christmas. I have written them and sent an express mail to them requesting the letter and Proof. I mean they could make up anything they want. I am really feeling pressured to pay as they mentioned they can come after my vehicle but I am not sure how to proceed. Can you please please advise me on this matter.

There is no doubt in my mind that Nissans consumer affairs department has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. The lack of concern regarding the safety issues that I am having with my 2013 Nissan Altima (i.e., blind spot warning system, voice activation to use phone, updates and use of navigation system) and the disrespectful and belligerent way that I have felt that Nissans consumer affairs department has acted toward me will cause me to never want to purchase another Nissan.I upgraded from a 2001 Maxima to a new 2013 Altima for its safety features. Many of those safety features have not worked properly since the day I took delivery of the car. I have told my local dealership about issues that I am having when I have brought the car to them for regular oil changes. It appears that they have failed to document my issues. I am waiting for the dealership where I purchased the car/have it regularly serviced, to do something about my issues. Hopefully, the dealership can restore my trust in Nissan and resolve the safety issues with my car.I write this review so hopefully Nissan consumer affairs department learns from my experience. I also want to advise others to be certain to tell your Nissan service department about EVERY issue you are having with your car no matter how insignificant it may seem. Plus, be certain that the service department has documented every issue and that YOU SEE IT IN WRITING. I conclude by saying, I am not certain that Nissans consumer affairs department is there to help you as a consumer.

I bought a 2008 Nissan Rogue brand new on Christmas Eve of 2007. The transmission went out on the car in July of 2010, at 100,000. I was almost hit and killed by an 18-wheeler. Nissan claims the transmission fell apart and after several months, said they would replace it at no cost. In February of 2012, my Rogue began to show the same signs of failure that the first one did and I took it to the dealership once again to have it inspected. Approximately 8 days later, the service department informed me that the transmission would in fact need to be replaced again with only 66,000 miles on it. I phoned Consumer Affairs and they have been no help! I have written Mr. Carlos Ghosn a certified letter and he has been no help! Why won’t Nissan just admit my car is defective and make an attempt to remedy the situation?

I have owned a significant number of Nissan vehicles - 2 Maximas, 2 Pathfinders, 2 Infinitis - and after my recent experience, I will never purchase again. I have a 2017 Maxima in which I knew had a mechanical issue. At the time I made the appointment with local dealership to inspect, mileage was under 60,000 miles. After waiting 10 days for appointment, their assessment was that I need a new front left bearing hub - the challenge, after waiting for the appointment, the mileage was now 60,265 miles and the warranty ends at 60,000. Their suggestion was to discuss with Nissan Consumer Affairs. Nissan position after more than a week of conversations - We dont care that you are a life long customer and that we will lose your future business. We refuse to help you because you are 0.4% out of warranty, even though you had to wait 10 days for your appointment with one of our dealers. So charged close to $200 for the assessment on a part that should be covered under warranty and dealership looking for additional $300 for a repair in which I can purchase an official Nissan part online for $60. No help. No consideration. No further purchases from me on a brand that shows no appreciation for their customers.

I found the recall and the campaign on the highway safety commissions website for the 2005 Nissan Armada fuel sending units. On 11/7/2014 my husband was driving my 2005 Nissan Armada at 3 AM on the busy 5 Lane Highway in Washington state at 65 mph. My SUV came to a abrupt stop in the middle of the highway. It would not turn over to start. The hazard lights would not come on. The state police put out 15 road flares and still they were both almost hit by three trucks and two cars. My Armada showed I had a quarter of a tank of gas. I had to have my sub towed to Campbell Nelson Nissan dealership in Edmonds Washington. Robert, the service manager called and advised me that the fuel sending unit was bad. It shows I have a quarter of a tank but I was really out of gas. John, the manager told me thats what he suspected was wrong with my SUV. John also advised me that there was a warranty on the fuel sending unit but it was only for 72,000 miles but at the least I feel that I should not get stuck with the bill because I bought the car used and had no clue that they had this issue or that it would almost cause the life of my husband or an innocent state trooper. I feel Nissan should open the recall and extend the warranty for the 2005 Nissan Armada fuel sending units. I know only certain 2005 models were in the campaign and recalled but this is what was wrong with my Armada the same thing Nissan campaign for. I want Nissan to cover the bill. Its an unsafe issue and if you guys do not reopen this recall Nissan is going to get somebody killed. If I have to take it to my Lawyer then so be it.

The Nissan Collections agent informs me Im sixty days past due on my car payment and my response is, But Im signed up for automatic payments. I made full restitution immediately and was led to believe that the situation was not of my doing and that all would be corrected. Not so. Nissan attempted to blame my bank at first.Once I verified this wasnt true Nissan went into their standard defense mode - which is very well rehearsed. Nissan claims to have called me multiple times via their automated service, multiple times by an actual person, claimed to have left multiple voice-mail messages, and claimed to have left me at least one email regarding the ending of my automated payments. I did not receive any of what they claim - with the exception of the call I actually answered. My credit score went from 780 to just around 700 in the blink of an eye - and will cost me thousands over the life of the new mortgage Im applying for.Family, friends, and strangers will be sure to hear this story told over and over again. I want the world to know just how disappointed I am with this company. Correct your shamelessly faulty notification system and do right by loyal customers or you are doomed to fail. I do recall several apparently automated calls made to me around that time but there was nobody on the other end. After repeating hello several times I simply hung up. Is someone getting credit on a quota simply for dialing a number without answering it? Ill be contacting Comcast to see if they can do a search on this mystery email I supposedly received. I recently purchased a brand new 2015 Nissan Armada Platinum in mid-April.
I recently purchased a brand new 2015 Nissan Armada Platinum in mid-April. This is my 5th Nissan vehicle (2 Xterras and 3 Armadas). I have always joked when looking at other cars that I am a Nissan girl. The joke is over and I will NEVER, EVER purchase a Nissan vehicle again... EVER!!! We purchased the vehicle from our local dealership. They found the vehicle I wanted at nearby dealership (it was being driven/demod by the GM of that dealership), so they did a dealer trade. When I went in to sign papers and take possession of the vehicle (on a Wednesday), I noticed that the headphones, remote control, and owner manuals had not been put back in the vehicle by the GM. The next day, I noticed that the front end was out of alignment and called the service dept. to set up a time for them to fix it. I also noticed that the back of the 2nd row headrests were beat up (pieces of the hard plastic were dug out like something had been hauled in the back and dug into the headrests). The power lift gate would open, but when you pushed the button to close it - it would go down and just before it shut, it would pop back up like something was in the way. We noticed that when the lift gate was closed - on the left side, the space between the lift gate and the body was normal, but on the right side there was a big gap. It was a noticeable gap and big enough that my husband could easily put his fingers into the space. When we took the vehicle to the dealership we showed them the gap. The service manager made calls to Nissan, but was told the gap was within their specs of being ok, and since it wasnt leaking then basically we were told to deal with it. A few days later, we had a pretty lengthy thunderstorm. A day or so later, I opened the lift gate to my vehicle and inside the gap - I cleaned out a handful of wet leaves and debris. In less than ONE month of owning the vehicle, the issues we have discovered are: Lift gate gap, shotty body work on the roof where it meets the lift gate, beat up 2nd row headrests, GPS outdated - but Nissan will sell me the update for an additional $130, driver side seat belt will not release - has to be pushed repeatedly to unlatch, the front and rear air do not work independently from each other as they are suppose to, and the power window control panel on the driver door is sticking up out of the door, instead of being flush with the door (the passenger side is fine). I contacted (800)-Nissan1 and they opened a case. I told them that this particular vehicle was janky and had too many little issues for a $50,000 brand new, top of the line (according to them) vehicle. I told them I did not want my money back, I just wanted the same car without all the problems. I received a call today, from Justin with Nissan, to notify me that my vehicle was not eligible for a buy back. Basically - the lift gate gap was within their specs of acceptable. I was told the car was still under warranty, put it in the shop, and let them fix it. So... my brand new, top of the line vehicle has to go into the shop a month after purchasing it for multiple issues. This is what Nissan considers a quality product and great customer service!

I purchased my new Nissan in 2001. I bought it outright from a dealer in NJ. I have had several major problems with this truck since I purchased it. The first was the gas tank rusting and emitting fumes in the cab. Every time I filled the tank the smell was terrible inside and outside the cab. I contacted Nissan several times and they refuse to do anything at all. This cost over a $1000.00 dollars. A year later my oil pan rusted badly and was ready to fail and I had that replaced. That cost $900.00. My electric blue paint started peeling on the side of the truck for no reason at all and continues peeling. If I choose to have it repainted that will probably be $2000.00. I wont ever purchase another Nissan and I encourage anyone who is thinking of buying one, DONT!! You will be very disappointed. They dont care about their product or customer service. In two words, they suck!!!

I purchased a 2007 Altima almost 8 years ago from the dealer in our town. Loved the car, and continue to drive it. Our daughter was driving it less than a month ago, and it stalled and quit on her. She called for a tow, and had it towed to a shop who services all of our cars, and have done so for 4-5 years. They called and said it was the transmission. Not aware of the extended 10 year and 120K miles CVT, I told the shop to replace the transmission, for a cost of $3800.00. Received the car a week later. I called Nissan consumer affairs, and ** told me at the time, nothing could be done, as the 5 year and 48 K mile warranty was up. As I was filing the receipts, I noticed a letter from Nissan, addressed to me at a former location, about five years ago, explaining about the CVT extension on the warranty. The clincher was it had to be an authorized Nissan Repair shop. I called Nissan consumer affairs again, and brought up about the letter. Still no results. I spoke with his supervisor, and he also disallowed it. I spoke with the shop, as they bought the engine from the dealer in town. I spoke with the dealership, and the service manager, who would try to intervene on my behalf.I just found out late yesterday, the service manager was not able to negotiate on my behalf. I will not stop, and continue to talk to more supervisors within Nissan. To take no just because the dealership did not replace the transmission is not satisfactory. They should at least pay for the transmission, or give me credit through the dealership, since the transmission was bought from them.

In the past, I have owned two Nissan cars, a 1992 Sentra and a 2004 Murano, both paid in full. Well, in 2012, the transfer case/transmission went out on my Murano and the cost to get it repaired was going to be over $3,500 plus labor. Because of lack of income and I just started to work as a caretaker, I could not afford to get it repaired at that time (I loved my Murano). I had to check online and found there are so many people that had problems with the transfer case on their Murano (I do not know why Nissan has never done a recall). Since October 2012, I have been renting a car at Enterprise, which I was paying over $1,081.00 a month. So if you do the math, I have been giving Enterprise, over $8,600 for the last 8 months. So, I had been praying about what to do and since I was paying this money every month, I thought I would try to go to Nissan dealership in Victorville, California to see if they would help me get a used car. I was looking around and a salesperson asked me if I needed any help, I told him that I was looking for a used car. I explained to him my financial situation and what was going on with credit. He went and got another salesperson; they went and got a sales manager and they did the numbers. I told them that I could afford to pay $400.00 a month. Next thing I was told go and test drive a 2013 Nissan Sentra. I told them that I did not want to have very high payments. Well, I was told that my payments would be around $400 plus a month. When we got back from test driving, the salesperson told me the black Sentra which was on the show floor would be the car that I would drive off with. I told them that my credit was not good, but they told me that I did not have to worry about anything. So, on May 10, 2013, I drove off in a brand new car from Valley Hi Nissan in Victorville. Well, to my nightmare; on June 14, 2013 I received a call from Mr. George ** one of the finance managers. Nissan had denied my loan because I could not show even funds in my bank account. I told him that if Nissan would have looked at my statements carefully, they would have seen that all my funds were going to Enterprise every week to cover for the car I was renting from them. I told them that if they did the numbers, they would see how much I was spending every week. Mr. ** told me that Nissan did not care about me renting a car; they wanted to see the funds in the account. I told him, How can I keep the funds in the account, if I am renting every week? He told me to bring the car back to the dealership in Victorville. I am very upset with this whole situation because Nissan never gave me an opportunity to even make one payment. I understand that I have had some credit issues, which is not Nissan and the banks problem, but how many people in America are having problems with their credit? I am very upset with the people at the dealership, because now they are saying, Well, we did all we could do. You know, if we mess up how credit scores, the bank and finance companies will hold our past over our heads until we die, and sometimes they hold the past still against who have died. All I wanted them to do is to at least give me a chance to make the payments. So now, here I am back to renting a car so I can get to work, and the dealership has their car which now is a used car. So who wins? I just thank GOD that he does hold our past against us for life.

We bought the Nissan Micra in April 2013, in Oct it met with an accident wherein the front was completely damaged and pressure was high. When it banged the other vehicle however AIRBAGS for the driver seat did not open. It should have opened that is the reason we bought this airbag feature to save the life for thatperson whose driving however it did not met with the expectation and it could have been caused a LIFE. Therefore I want this incident to bring to your notice so that it can be resolved with the compensation. Also on 3rd of Oct 2013 we have given the car to fix at HIND NISSAN at Chandighar and till date it is standing in the same condition without even start repairing of it and the excuses they are giving that brand like NISSAN does not have needful parts available at the showroom. After more than 60 days got to know the exciting news that repair will start on 1st week of December not before and that too if the parts will be available. This is really annoying so please look into the matter and do the needful as your assistance will be appreciated.

I will never buy a Nissan again! I own a Nissan Rogue and my car stopped working while I was on the freeway while my daughters were in the car. I found out it was my transmission (CVT) but Nissan refused to replace it since I was 1,700 miles outside of the warranty. There was no indication there was even an issue or that I should take my car in; which would have saved me thousands of dollars, prevented being without a car for over a week, and putting me and my family in grave danger. It is extremely upsetting and disheartening that Nissan cares so little for their loyal customers.

Prior to receiving a Recall Notice from Nissan, my daughter was unable to move her foot from the accelerator to the brake to avoid a collision. The car was a total loss and my daughter suffered extreme neck pain. The recall notice states Your Model Year 2014 Nissan Versa Note is involved in a safety recall because delayed braking may occur if your foot contacts the center console trim panel when transitioning from the accelerator to the brake pedal. Nissan refuses to stand behind the product and their recall by saying it is the owners responsibility to make sure the car operates safely.

Hey guys. This review is to let the world know out there of how unfair Nissan company is. I have been a loyal customer of Nissan for more than 6 years now. I own a Nissan Rogue 2012 with no more than 30k miles on it. My transmission happened to fail 2 weeks ago and the Nissan dealership wants to charge me $4400 to replace the transmission. They WILL NOT COVERED this knowing that I still have my original warranty on transmission work. DEALER says transmission got hit by something and that is why is not cover. We did not hit anything at car broke that while driving in highway. Really unfair, unacceptable. Ill not recommend NISSAN to anyone. They are thieves..

I purchased my 2014 Nissan Pathfinder brand new in June 2014. By October 2014 at around 8,000 miles my transmission began to fail as I was driving down the highway. The car would jolt down the road. I took my vehicle in to be checked. They did a software update and sent me on my way. I didnt have my vehicle out of the parking lot before it started happening again. I turned around and took it back. They kept my vehicle for several days and determined a new transmission was in order. The transmission was replaced. I was able to get about 35,000 miles on my vehicle and then the fuel sensor went out. Nissan dealership replaced it but I had to pay for it as it was not included in the warranty. The dealer did pay for the labor but Nissan REFUSED to cover the part and I had to pay for that. In August 2016, my transmission began to lag. As I would drive in low gears it would jolt and skip. It had a hard time making it up slight inclines, such as a parking garage. They did the software update again and sent me on my way. At first, the vehicle seemed to run ok but as more time passed the problems begin to rear up again. In October 2016 I brought my vehicle back. It was determined that my transmission had to be replaced at 49,000 miles (This would only be 41,000 on the new transmission). This car is unsafe and jolts down the highway and has even staled out in intersections. I have asked for Nissan to buy back my car and refund my down payment but they refused based on my history it does not qualify for a buyback. I do NOT recommend anyone to purchase a Nissan. The dealership has been great but Nissan has not. They do not care about their customers. They refuse to work with me. They dont want to ensure the safety of their drivers. They just want your money. Period. The end.

I purchased a Nissan Rogue 2015 from Koeppel Nissan, Queens NY. It has been in their service department several times for different issues but the main Issue is a Broken Transmission within 6 months of having this car. I had a Nissan Versa 2012 and traded in for this Rogue 2015 and I really regret have done that. Nissan Koeppel has been really unprofessional with me. I found out that they were claiming repairs for my car when my car was not even near their service department. I think that because my car has been IN so many times, they thought that they could claim repairs any time they wanted even when my car was not around.I tried to get in touch with Nissan Consumer Affairs and asked them for support, but they have done anything for me. So I had to contact the BBB and open a complaint. My car still has issues that hasnt been repaired, make noises, the transmission still has issues, the engine is weak, the MPG is only 15 in the city when is supposed to be at least 28, I feel like Im driving a Non-fuel Economy car, Im having issues with my entry Key, the car wont turn on sometimes and the list goes on... And the fact that this dealer in Queens New York was faking some repairs which I confronted on Sep 18th, and because of that I was asked to leave and never come back because I found out that they were lying about my car repairs, at this point, I dont know if they actually fixed my car when my car was actually in their service department.I dont feel safe with this car, I dont believe that they have done anything to my car and Im really disappointed with the service of Koeppel Nissan and Nissan Consumer Affairs. I believe this Nissan Rogue 2015 is a faulty car!!! And I dont want anyone to go through what Im going through, especially as a single mother. I was able to get a meeting with Nissan North America and BBB this month and hopefully they can replace this car or give me back my Nissan Versa. I will keep you posted!

I contacted Nissan customer care. I currently own a 2013 Xterra Pro4x with 66,000 miles. I have driven manuals for 30 years. First clutch burned out 35,400. Second clutch was looked at in a dealership service at 63,000 miles. Was told clutch looked perfect, drove perfect. Had a smell coming from the clutch. 3,000 miles later driving at 60 mph in 5th gear, the clutch blew up. Sounded like an explosion followed by sounds of metal fragments rolling around inside. Nissan required a dealership to look at it. Their conclusion is the driver error caused the clutch failure.Ive never had to replace a clutch before 90/100k. Ive heard from other with the Xterra and Frontiers of this exact same problem happening. Now Im hearing if the transmissions going out at 76,000 miles. They are wanting $2700 to replace a clutch that is sure to fail again. Something is causing these clutches and transmissions to fail. So many mechanics and friends are telling me to get rid of the car ASAP. Lesson learned do not buy Nissan. Nissan does not stand behind their product.

I leased a car in July of 2006. I received a property tax bill to pay in January. In addition, the county where I purchased the vehicle and also reside does not charge property taxes. The first year was fine. I received another bill the second year and I submitted the same paperwork. NMAC claimed they never received it and that I owed them for taxes. I did not pay for it. The following year, I received another bill. When I submitted the forms again, I was told they could not accept them because I had not paid the previous years taxes. I just recently tried to refinance my home and my credit report is damaged because of this. I have tried calling to clear this mess up and was told rudely that this will not go away until it is paid. I submitted everything the company told me to do exactly and yet, this is still on my credit report. They have been extremely rude and have even hung up on me. I will never lease a vehicle again and I will never deal with Nissan again.

I love the color, interior, leather and heated seats and all the safety features like air bags and warning lights and symbols. I also like the moon roof and navigation system and love the fact that it shows the air in my tires. However, I wish my car has a bigger screen for navigation and a better camera. I would also like better instructions on how to use the electronics. I also resent that I have to pay to update my navigation system. This should be included. He stated that Nissan showed that they had never received anything from the dealer. He gave an address and a list of documentation that was needed to start the claim all over. Via certified letter mailed on 12/20/11, we sent him the original copy of Odometer Disclosure Statement from the dealer dated 10/14/11, copy of Wells Fargo statement showing the rogue being paid off posted on 10/21/11 and the original copy of Nissan Extended Services North America Dealer Cancellation Request from Bob Rohrman Nissan of Chesterton dated 10/28/11. The letter was signed for on 12/28/11.Chitana at ** received a similar complaint like this and responded in early January 2012. She then passed the case on to Jane ** at ext **. Jane does not remember conversations from one day to the next. She blames the dealership CFO for not getting back to her. She called and said she is waiting for a confirmation number from another department, which she had told me this now for over a month but she will be calling me back with days with the info then never calls. She told me she is contacting the dealer about the value of the maintenance contract, but now says there is no record of contradicting what Chitana told me. It has been 22 weeks since the claim was initiated. I am close to filing in small claims courts and hiring an attorney for the complaint. The claim will be for the initial credits, attorney fees, court costs and interest.

I have an electric blue 2005 Nissan Frontier Nismo. Since about 2008 and 40,000 miles, it has been shedding paint like my car sheds hair! It started with the front left quarter panel, then the front right quarter panel, then the right rear quarter panel, then the gutters on the roof, then both doors on the right side, and also many other obscure places like the gas tank door, and underneath the hood, a place that never encounters any weather or road related contact. I bought the truck used with approximately 41,000 miles on it and, after I bought the truck, I found out that the previous owner had actually already dealt with this issue and had taken the truck to Nissan, complained about the paint peeling and Nissan did a tape test on the vehicle. They pulled off a significant amount of paint but then claimed that the issue was not a factory defect. I have gone through all of the appropriate steps with Nissan and basically have gotten the runaround. They keep claiming that its not a factory defect and that there is nothing that they can do to help me.I have formed a Facebook group titled 2005 electric blue Nissan frontier paint delamination. I am seeking as many affected Nissan Frontier owners that have experienced the same paint defect with that year, make and model and color of truck. The more people that I can get to come forward with this issue, the stronger my case will be. I have been in contact with the same attorney group that is handling the transmission/radiator recall and they are very interested in taking up this case as a class action lawsuit. So please, if you are affected by this paint peeling issue, please add yourself to the group on Facebook and we will go from there. Thank you.

Monday it started acting up again so I added transmission fluid and did some research online and noticed that Nissan was extending the warranty on the CVT transmission (obviously others were having issues). Im being told now by Nissan that my warranty is VOID since I added transmission fluid. Really?? First of all no one even contacted me. I had to find out when the car starting acting up by doing my own research. If you are shopping for a car DO NOT get a NISSAN. The way they treated me today was horrible. The repair center also said the man who sold us the vehicle no longer works for them and its normal for the brakes to squeal on a new vehicle. I told him that was not normal, that was poor manufacturing of products. I purchased a brand new Hyundai Sonata and never had that happen. My CVT transmission was replaced at 70,866 miles by Nissan because of all the problems I was having with it. This car has given me problems since day one. 3 weeks ago, my car left me and my two daughters stranded on side the road out of town when it would not accelerate when we stopped at a red light. After getting my car towed ($355.00) back to the city where I live so that I can get it to the nearest shop, I am now being told that I need to replace the transmission again. I now have 131,000 miles and it is no longer under warranty and they want to charge me almost $5,000 to replace my transmission. That 60,000 miles since my transmission was replaced. So obviously the CVT transmissions need to be replaced every 60-70,000 miles. WHICH IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. MY FAMILY OR I WILL NEVER BUY NISSAN AGAIN AND I WILL MAKE SURE I MAKE EVERYONE AWARE ON EVERY SOCIAL SITE AVAILABLE and THROUGH WORD OF MOUTH...

My first one went out at 89,000 and now, my second one is out. My first one was covered under the warranty, but the second was only good for 30 days on labor and 12 months for parts at a Nissan dealership. Both not even getting 100,000. I am driving a 2006 2.5 Dci pickup Navara with 104,000 km on the clock. The Diff was replaced on 30,000 km and again it was repaired on 90,000 km. It is now faulty again on 104 000 km. What could be the reason/s for this problem? Was any Navara ever recalled with this problem?

Number one, we purchased a new 2013 Nissan Juke from Peltier Nissan in Tyler Texas. The salesman really tried to sell us on the Gold extended warranty program, representing that it would take over when the manufacturers warranty ended, and would cover such things as the motor. They have not been making us aware of all recalls, and in fact, it was my Google research that turned up the timing chain recall, when my wife complained it was making an odd sound. I didnt know there had already been a class action lawsuit filed about this very issue, and presumably, the recall was activated AFTER they were sued. While our vehicle was in for that repair, the drivers seat was ripped by someone there, and they refused to take the responsibility, and were demanding WE pay for the torn seat. I contacted people higher up and we were able to get the seat tear repaired and even though they told us they had to order a new seat cover, after we received the car back, I could see where a repair was made in the seat cover, so it would appear, they were not being completely truthful. Around 70,000 miles or so, my wife, who drives a lot as part of her work, told me that the vehicle was going 70 mph, and suddenly started losing power and depressing the accelerator would not increase the decreasing speed. At the same time, she got a Service Engine light and she called the Peltier NISSAN dealer where she purchased the car. They told her over the phone it would most probably be covered under warranty and they would give her a loaner car. In the next day or so, she was told that the loaner car was now a rental car and she would have to pay for the Turbo, as the extended warranty department was saying the oil was not viscous enough (first tech) and then the second tech said the oil was too viscous (and burned). We had to rent a car from a national chain for a week. Were very much inconvenienced, and had to pay thousands of dollars to get the vehicle back from the dealership. From checking online, there are many other Nissan products that have had the bearings / Turbo to go bad prematurely, and it looks like the techs fall back on the viscosity of the oil problem. An interesting fact was that during repair at Peltier Nissan, when the techs received the new turbo, from the OEM supply place, that turbo was defective right out of the box. We made the representative at Nissan in Tennessee aware of this on the phone with the tech standing right by us, and she didnt seem to care. They were holding the line that somehow, it was OUR fault that THEIR product failed prematurely. It is not known if the bearings they are using are failing prematurely due to metal fatigue or some problem with the metals they are made from, or if there are design flaws in the turbo / engine that are causing these failures. My wife kept proper levels of oil in the car, changed the oil, and they should reimburse us for repairs and the one week rental car expense. Personally, I will make it known to everyone I meet that Nissan and their extended warranty company, are screwing customers, and advise no one to purchase either a Nissan or their GOLD EXTENDED WARRANTY.

They approved a one month extension, then pushed us one day over the 30-day mark by their own incompetence and now refused to remove this one and only credit glitch even though we were longtime, paying on time customers. Nissan is mean-spirited and inconsiderate to their customers and should be blackballed by all of us. In fact, dont even buy Nissan. I was going to buy another Titan, but this pushed me over into the Chevy column for all time no matter what they come up with. They might as well not even exist anymore. Theyre dead to me.
