Husqvarna Motorcycle Reviews
Today, Husqvarna Motorcycles is a brand that draws inspiration from a golden age of motorcycling culture, renowned for many ground-breaking achievements and unique revolutionary steps that has changed motorcycling forever. Their goal is to pick up where those days of legend left off.

Purchased a Husqvarna #032414M040682 push lawn mower on July 23, 2014. Used 2 times and 2014. Attempted to start in 2015 and lawn mower failed to start. Took lawn mower back to Lowes and was told that the carburetor needed to be replaced and I needed to pay for it. Was told by Lowes Husqvarna refused the claim for repair.

I checked out a lot of different zero turn mowers and ended up with a Husqvarna MZ 52LE. The dealer raved over the quality of construction and durability of this mower. What he didnt say was what a piece of crap this mower is with zero turning or traction. If you have any respect for your lawn as I do you will NEVER buy a Husqvarna. These mowers rip your lawn into shreds. Any time you try to turn around, the stationary tire locks and just rips a nice hole in your lawn (every time). And Lord forbid you get onto a hill and need to back up, the tires will literally just spin until you are really good and stuck, and you find yourself on many, many occasions having to get a tow strap and pull it out. My old mower (Grasshopper) never got stuck. Had I known what I know now I would never, EVER have purchased this mower!

OUR HUSQVARNA LGT 2654 Rear axle has broken twice now. It has been in the repair shop over a month now. The repairman says he is having trouble getting parts to fix it. He has replaced the rear seal 3 times and it continues to leak fluid. I am at my wits end with the tractor. Has there been any kind of recall on these tractors.

We purchased a Husqvarna 46 riding mower from Lowes and the first time we used it would not even finish my yard before it was having an issue with going forward or reverse. Had to stomp on the pedals to get it to go. Went to the shop. It was debris buildup. Was told the transmission was a poor design. Had to be taken apart to clean it out. Husband blows it out every time we used it. Did not matter. Back in the shop again for the same problem and due to the build up of debris that created moisture therefore had to replace the drive bearing and clean it out again. Was told it is a snow mobile transmission and that the mower I bought model #YTA22V46 is for small yards with no trees. Well I have a large yard with lots of trees. I paid 1,700 for a mower I cant use. Stays in shop more than cutting my yard. Would not buy another mower from Lowes or another Husqvarna. Was told that Lowes bought the cheaper line of mowers yet sold them for a higher price... P.S> having to be a squeaky wheel to get the oil Husqvarna does not want to own it or replace it but they will as I am a dog with a bone. I will not stop till I get results.

Last September I bought a R322T Husqvarna mower, I last mowed the end of November. I put gas guard in the tank and parked it in my shed, and started the Briggs & Stratton once a week. This spring I mowed my grass twice, the next time I tried to mow the mower quit. Now I am told it is not covered under warranty and I had done something wrong.

A one year old lawn mower has broken. A very shoddy made part, which sells quite well on eBay by many sellers for a low price, yet cant get the warranty repair needed. Will pick up the mower tomorrow, either take it somewhere else to be repaired, or bring it home, order the part from eBay and repair it myself. Husqvarna warranty is no good if the warranty repair shop wont do it. Warranty shop is in Opp Alabama.

I have a Riding Lawn Tractor from Husqvarna which has been in the shop twice since I purchased it just over two years ago. The first time was for the starter and the mower deck. Most recently the transmission wasnt working properly and ultimately it was found that the frame had cracked. Husqvarna refused to properly fix my mower citing that I must have towed something that it was not designed for, which is incorrect. After several phone calls they agreed to gift a repair kit but told me I would be responsible for the labor. The repair has not worked. I attempted to follow up with Husqvarna corporate and have been completely ignored. They used a clause of the warranty to deny my claim and did so with absolutely no evidence that I had misused my mower. They had cited that they could tell that I had a 2 tow ball on the back of the mower. I dont even own a tow ball. I would urge anyone looking to buy a mower from Husqvarna to seriously reconsider and pay a little extra for a more developed company with better quality products.

If you only mow level ground it works well. However, we have minimal slopes in the yard and the mower doesnt have the power to go up the SLIGHT incline. I am not talking a hill here, either. I have to disengage the blades, raise the mower deck to go up incline. I am very disappointed that there isnt enough power to pull the 52 inch deck unless completely level ground. Otherwise, it did a nice job mowing.

Purchased this from Morgan Equipment. I bought my last rider close to 20 years ago so once I got past the sticker shock I compared what I think are the top 2 Husqvarna and John Deer. I didnt like how the JD controls worked and some on its construction seemed less quality. HV was a lot more machine for the price, solid unit with a top end Kawasaki engine. For the same engine, JD was about $200 more. Now that Ive had it for a few mowing I like the Husqvarnas operation and it give a good mow. It fast and gives a good mow.

Do not buy a Husqvarna zero turn lawn mower. It will nothing but trouble. I had my new RZ5424 for about 3 weeks and it broke down. The warranty did cover it, but it was a hassle to get them to honor it. A plastic pulley locked up and the belt burn right through it. Then 2 weeks later the engine would not start. But again it was under warranty? But another hassle. Now a year later the blades engagement system went bad and the blades will not even try to move. If you want something to work on or hauling it to service center ever few weeks of usage, this is your zero turn lawn mower. Otherwise get something else. Now I have an expensive mower that keeps breaking down. Terrible mower!!!

Ever since purchase, this has been the most difficult piece of machinery to start bar none. I have had it serviced and they even said they got it running a bit better, but still a bit hard to start. But should improve as it breaks in. Upon seeing reviews and so many saying how great this product is, I kept it with the belief that it would improve. It never did, 15-30 pulls to start on the average and then once started, you could set it aside and it would puke, and stall out. Then the same procedure would have to be followed even though it was warmed up.My mistake was that I shouldve have taken it back to Lowes where I purchased it while still under some warranty, but I wanted my money back and did not like the saw at all. I am experienced in their operations. I shouldve paid more for the Stihl product. I never pursued any action, my fault. Now it is too late. I will never purchase a Husqvarna product again, period! After this saw injured my back the 3rd time, in anger I destroyed the **. Yes, anger got to me, but never satisfied at all with product. Husqvarna and dealers have nothing but voicemails and just repeat service that produces nothing to improve product reliability. Im very dissatisfied!

I purchased a new walk behind lawn mower and after first use, it leaked oil into the air filter. Took it in for repair (supposedly under warranty). Repair service said too much oil, (only put in what came with the mower) and would not repair it under warranty. I will not purchase another Husqvarna mower again.

Bought a new Husqvarna lawn tractor Model 960450049. The tractor had less than 5 hours running time. I started the mower to put in the shed, within about 30 yards of travel it caught on fire, quit running and burned completely. Reported the problem to Lowes. They said they would contact me back in a couple of days. Its been 2 weeks, heard nothing.

I purchased a new Husqvarna ST224 snow blower November 17, 2014. Our first snow was today, January 6, 2015. I have about 5 inches of snow on my driveway and when I started to clear it with my brand new, never used Husqvarna snow blower after about ten minutes of us the drive wheels stopped turning and parts fell out the under side of the snow blower. When I called the owner of Mower Zone in Danville, Indiana his response was, I sorry but it is mechanical and sometimes mechanical things break. I understand mechanical thinks breaking but not in the first ten minutes of use! The Manager of Mower Zone said he would send someone to pick it up and see if they could fix it. I ask for a loaner to be able to clear my driveway and he said they didnt do that. If that isnt enough to steer you away from Husqvarna, there was a $50 mail in rebate on this model snow blower. I sent in the rebate form and have not received the rebate. When I try to call to find out the status I get a recording telling me they are having technical problems and my call cannot be processed and I should call back at another time. This has been going on for weeks. I know I will never see my $50 rebate Husqvarna promised.

This chainsaw has been the worst saw for starting and trying to keep it running. I have owned the saw for less than 2 years with hardly any usage. Husqvarna cannot find the part I need along with the dealers that service this saw. The lady at Husqvarna told me the saw was not old enough for the parts catalog to display the brake cover that I need. She said they would do a study on it and get back to me. I really doubt if that is going to happen.

I have it this commercial grade mower for over 10 years and have cussed it constantly!!! I paid cash and it wasn’t cheap but can never get any help with it! The rod that controls the laterals breaks about every 3rd cut of my yard!!!! When I bought it they said there was a recall so I took it in! Well needless to say for 10 years I’ve been fixing this POS! Would not buy a Husqvarna period. Am gonna fix this one for the last time and sell it!!! Will be someone else’s problem. The bad thing is it has left me hung up in very dangerous positions! It is now sitting in my front yard on a very steep incline! Will never buy a Husqvarna and always ruins my day!!!!

Husqvarna (46-in, 21-hp, YTH21K46): Its the same as the other complaints. The engine floods, and tons of gas come out of the engine, even after the motor dies. We have 1.5 hour on the first one. We also took it back. And now, we have only 1 hour on the second one, and it is doing the same thing. We have to borrow a trailer each time we take it back. I am very angry. I will probably just take the second back, get my money, and buy a different product. I will also make sure no one else I know buys one of these.

I was informed by Husqvarna district rep. (via dealer) 5-21013, that reason for delayed shipment on my (ordered) GT54LS tractor is that the engine component for the unit is unavailable. What? Did Husqvarna grind such a deal with Briggs and Stratton on these motors? That B&S cant (or wont) honor its commitment or were they closeouts to begin with? I have never, in 60 years of life, heard of anything like this! Is Husqy going to discontinue the model, update it with substitution engine and reintroduce in the fall (2014 MY)? And are they going to (be able to) support those already out-there? More convinced than ever that Ive made an error in judgment.

I bought this blower from Lanes Outdoor Equipment in Chipley FL on 8 May 2017 because Husqvarna had a $40 rebate with the blower. I completed the forms before the rebate expired and emailed to them. After waiting almost two months for the rebate I called the rebate center and was told that they have no record of my paperwork. I sent the claim form and the sales receipt but they dont have them. Now that the promotion has ended they are sorry (really sorry) but they cant honor their agreement even if I re-submit the required paperwork. I have several other Husqvarna products but this will be my last one. They suck!

The baffle center front screw hole broke and the baffle broke the blade. We bought the tractor pre-assembled from Lowes. Lowes would not repair because it was not in the maintenance agreement. We replaced and it happened again so we left the baffle center front off the blade was bent. I bought blades again and found the end of the shaft assembly mandrel stripped so now I have to repair shaft assembly, Mandrel in order to hold the mower blade. I hate this Tractor mower. I would not recommend this equipment to my enemy. I give no stars because I have had to repair it since we bought the darn thing. I guess I have to give a star to submit. :/

After looking at reviews (greatest thing since sliced bread) I decided to purchase one of these (Husqvarna ST227P Snowblower), what a mistake. I have used the machine approx. 10x and have had it back to the dealership 7x. To date they have had to replace the carburetor -- machine would not keep running, replace the drive - would not go forward or backwards, belts broke second time I used it, gas lines split and leaked gas after the first season, plastic for the discharge chute controls snapped off and remember this is after only 10 uses. The dealership has had the machine more than I have. I attempted to exchange it for another machine and or have my money refunded but Husqvarna said no but they would extend the warranty for an additional 6 months and keep having it fixed until the warranty run out. In the meantime I have had to borrow a friends machine, pay to have our driveway plowed and shovel. The last time I took the machine in they had to replace the drive which took 2 months for the parts to arrive. Twice when I went to pick the machine up after being called because it was repaired I have had to leave it due to the machine breaking down when they were trying to load it on to my truck. I contacted Husqvarna who in turn contacted the dealership I purchased the machine from and were told that the gas lines leaked was due to me leaving old gas in it over the winter. Unbelievable. All of my equipment is winterized and some are 15 plus years old and have never had the gas line changed, what a joke!! It appears that Husqvarnas quality has gone and I will not be purchasing any more of their products. I currently own 2 of their chainsaws, both over ten years old and never an issue but speaking to friends who have purchase new ones they have had nothing but issues. At this point I am rooting for the greenhouse effect and we never get snow again!!! What a waste of $1698.00.

First of all, I wish there was a choice of no stars (if you know what I mean) but since I have to, I will put 1 star. Last year, we purchased a Husqvarna lawn tractor YTH24k48. The battery had to be boosted off every time we used it. The tire went flat almost immediately. I bought this for my fiance (I wish now I would have purchased a John Deere). We have about an acre of flat yard to mow. For all of you who are insinuating that complainers here dont know what they are doing regarding operating a rider, thats hogwash. We have done all maintenance as is recommended in the manual (thats a positive we DID get one of those) to the specs as required oil, etc. Now the big problem: Hes on the mower mowing on flat grass and the lawn tractor starts shaking violently (we are very fortunate than no one was hurt) when suddenly he hears a big sound and he is hearing impaired. The blade falls off going into the ground making a half circle mark in the yard. We called Lowes where it was purchased (and no, for the know-it-alls, Lowes does not put them together; they remove them off a pallet and take them out of a box already assembled by the qualified Husqvarna team... not my problem). Now I called Lowes. I returned the mower to Lowes; I have owned it for 1 year 1 month so its still under warranty. Lowes sent the mower to Lanier someplace down in GA who of course works for Husqvarna. They have had the mower since May 15th; in a few days, it will be 4 weeks. Meantime grass is not getting shorter. Rider has been used a total of maybe 6 times mowing flat grass with nothing to hit. Now we are being told that the blade falling off is not a warranty issue (luckily he was not injured or we would have another issue). I dont know about you but I dont believe blades should just fall off any mower much less a $2000 mower used so little. Husqvarna mechanics, I am hearing through Lowes, are stating in their diagnostics report that the lawnmower hit something. The only possibility of anything being hit would have been a clump of grass, a small stick, or possibly though not likely a small rock of which none should make the blade fall off and so violently. We are waiting for a return call from Husqvarna (they have not returned my calls and when I call them, I am put on hold for long periods of 30 minutes or more). There is no customer service from Husqvarna. Lowes corporate office customer service has called me and appears genuinely nice but is he really concerned? We will see. I am waiting. We know many people that would be prospective buyers of Husqvarna lawnmowers. If I have anything to say about it, I will be sure to sway them away from these horrible products. I wish that I had found this site before purchasing such a piece of crap. Oh and by the way, I also purchased a Husqvarna push mower style weedeater. It worked great for a few weeks and suddenly quit and will not crank or anything so thats next to go back. Im not feeling good about any of this due to the way things have been handled so far. What happened to good ole fashioned customer service? Husqvarna is willing to lose potential customers and many sales rather than admit to poor quality and spend a little to fix their shoddy products. Buyers beware, steer way clear of Husqvarna products especially lawn mowers. Im very angry and disappointed.

I use a push mower, not a ride one. I mow about 4 acres with it! Had it for 2yrs. Never has let me down! It takes a full day just to do the front yard. I do it for the exercise.

I have had nothing but issues with this tractor since I first bought it. The frame is weak Ive had it welded. The bagger was too heavy for the frame at the back and tore through the metal where the bagger sits. After 484 hours on the mower the engine blew and I had to have it rebuilt. Ive only had the mower 3 Seasons. Rays Power Equipment excellent service. Prescott Husqvarna dealer horrible service. Prescott service wanted to do only warranty work and when I showed up with a twisted frame they said they couldnt fix it and said they wouldnt work on it. It has a Kawasaki 24 horse. The model is GT 52 in deck with side assisted lower which was too heavy for the deck and the Fellas at Rays Power Equipment custom weighted the other side of the deck so it would balance out.

Lawn tractor, Husquvarna YTH 22K24 - It was very difficult to start at first, but we eventually got it to go. First used it May 2015. Its blowing smoke/oil. Terrible fumes and smell when we start it up. Its also extremely noisy! We had a Craftsman for years with no problems. Very disappointed. Would not recommend anyone buy Husqvarna!

I had less than 30 hours on my Husqvarna zero turn and experienced the following: 1. Stick got in belt! Cost me $200. 2. Needed new switch in handles so it would move. 3. The gap between the frames that hold on the front tires so grass accumulates in the gap! When you reverse big clumps fall on the lawn. I REPORTED THIS AND THEY SAID YOU MUST BE MOEN GRASS IS WET!!! I have mowed the lawn for 31 years. 4. The tires accumulated grass and or dirt in the grooves and traction is lost.

Well, I will join the crew who unfortunately purchased a Husqvarna riding mower.. and at Lowes.. A double whammy for sure. First out of the gate with glee mowing the 1.8 acres we own. All great! Then the next time I get on to mow.. the front tires are FLAT! This has continued for two seasons and now in the third. Visited the Lowes where purchased.. nobody or even has a suggestion.. This being three weeks after purchase. They say I need to buy new wheels? LOL yeah right. They say they have no interest in helping and I should contact Husqv.. Yeah that worked.. They said go to the Lowes.. LOL Well, here we are third season.. go to the shop to get the mower spruced for Spring.. FLAT tires of course.. NEVER. NEVER again will I EVER buy Husqvarna ANYTHING or Lowes for that matter. Finished, done.. all gone. I am buying a new JD at the end of this season.. Selling off the crap and going for the gold standard. And I will shout it out to all I know, see, hear. etc.. this sucks.

Have bought a Husq LT 1597 ride-on mower and for the past 2 years the cutter belt keeps running off the pulleys when the disengage lever is used. The mower shop comes, takes mower away for 3 weeks, and returns with belt in place and charges $300. This has been going on every 2nd month for 2 years. The belt when disengaged flops around and the engine pulley continues to rotate which pulls the belt up and off the rear tensioner pulley. The design here is really bad. The belt should be pulled off the engine pulley. Nope they disengage at the cutter plate. Drrrrrrrr, off the course the belt will continue to rotate as it is still in contact with the engine pulley. This is very dangerous as the cutters are meant to be disengaged but the belt is still thrashing around. Afraid this is the first and last Husq. The service sucks at $300 to put a belt on, of course this is not a warranty issue. Well it is a customer satisfaction issue.

Husqvarna 455 Rancher Chainsaw - The chainsaw is well built and reliable until it begins to leak bar oil. Husqvarna knows that this problem is very widely reported by most model 455 owners. The part fails after about 40 to 60 hours of use. The fix is replacing the oil feed hose with a new style (correctly manufactured) hose (part 158551400(1)). The part costs $2.95. The labor costs $53.00. The repair is covered by the 2-year warranty or the pay extra extended warranty. Husqvarna notified its dealers about this manufacturing defect, shhhh, but did not notify registered chainsaw owners. Husqvarna will not do the right thing and issue a general and advertised recall. Memo to Husqvarna--do you see all (hundreds) of 1-star ratings on this website? It is a prescription for laying off many of your workers. Your quality and customer service ratings have plummeted lower than even Black and Decker. Do the right thing, issue a recall and free repair when it is Husqvarnas fault.

Crappy mower and crappy tiller - Underpowered mower for the price and ever since I bought it the damn gas cap leaks. Even worse now. I called Husqvarna. They wanted me to my mower in my little car and drive instead of sending me a new gas cap. Then I bought a rear tine rototiller. Same thing with leaking gas cap. Ill never buy Husqvarna again. STIHL is way better. Too bad they dont do mowers or tillers.

I bought a riding lawn mower in March of 2008 and have 238 hours on it. I have done spring maintenance on it every year. The third time Ive started mowing the yard this year, the left rear tire popped off. After looking at the shaft, it was broke in half. I dont know how this could break with this little hours. This mower is used for my yard only. I cant see spending this much money on a mower to have trouble with it already.

Had my 54 Husqvarna mower 1.5 years on a 3 year warranty. Deck cracked. Called service center and they told me I had to bring mower them so that they could take pictures. Then I would have to wait for Husqvarna to come back with an approval. I told them I dont have a truck, I am 76 years old and had no way of getting mower to them. They told me they would come and take pics for a $100.00 non refundable fee.

On 6/06/2011, I purchased a Husqvarna LGT2554. I used it once, and then it would not start. No fuel at carburetor. Lowes replaced it on 7/25/2011. I used this one 3 times. I went to start to move and have the same problem as the first one. I called Lowes for the repair center; I was given a wrong number. I called Lowes again and was told if I wanted it picked up for repair. I should have bought a John Deer. I still have not gotten a number for a warranty repair. Next time, I will buy a John Deer. I do not have any way to get this thing to a repair shop. No name and number for a repair shop. I dont know of any place to purchase parts to repair for myself. I just wanted you to know that your high-priced piece of junk is just that. I am a businessman in Tulsa, OK and I assure you, everybody I come in contact with will be made aware of my problem and the quality of your product.

In April 2014, I bought a new HU675AWD self-propelled mower (149cc Kohler engine, 22 cutting width) for residential use. In June, I took it in to an authorized service center because the throttle cable had frayed and stretched to the point where it would not engage the self-propulsion feature. It is now late August. The mower has been stuck in the shop with the part on back order for almost 6 weeks. I have had to make other arrangements throughout the high-growth spring weeks and through more than half the summer. Still no resolution in sight; a complete waste of money.

I bought a Poulan Pro Lawn Mower that is made by Husqvarna and I have had problems since the first week I had it. The second time I went to cut grass, it would not stay running. So, I contacted the Badcock Furniture Store, wherein I bought it. And I was told that I was responsible for having it fixed. I let my son look at it and he tapped on side of carburetor with a screwdriver, and it left a few scratches on it. Still, he couldnt get it to run. I finally called the 800 number and was given a location where to take it. They would not work on it because they said they didnt work on items from Badcock.I was given another place and was told the same thing. I called Badcock again and was told to bring it to them and they would look at it and if they couldnt fix it, they would take it to their repair man. They could have told me that before. After a few days, I was contacted and advised that it would cost $82.00 to pick it up. First, they said it might be bad gas. Then they said it was trash in the carburetor and finally, I was told that they had to replace carburetor. If the carburetor was bad, it should have been covered by warranty. If it was changed just because it had scratches on it, I think I should have been called to see if I wanted to change it. I asked but was given the run around about why it was changed.

I bought my Husqvarna riding mower from Lowes a couple of years ago. Ive since spent as much as I paid for it in repairing it. This mower is absolute garbage. DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE MOWERS. Itll be a cold day in hell before I ever, ever, ever buy a mower from Lowes or a Husqvarna product again. I hope this helps prevent someone from throwing their money away, the hassle of owning and repairing one of these movers.

I purchased a McCulloch 42 inch riding mower that is made by Husqvarna. It has the same Intek Briggs & Stratton engine, and the salesman told me that it was essentially the same as the Husqvarna. Well, if it is, they are both undependable, and poorly made. The engine stalls every time that the blade is engaged. The battery died on the day that I bought it. It backfires, and is hard to start. I returned it for a refund on the first day because of all of the problems. After reading the reviews I am in at a loss as to what riding mower to buy that will be reliable and dependable. Any recommendations???

LGT 2554 lawn tractor Husqvarna - I have purchased a brand new in 2009 of May. As of May 18 of 2013, the mower threw a drive belt after taking off the mower deck to find out why. I noticed that the frame (chassis) where the rear end mounts to the frame was broken on both sides. I mow on flat ground. I called the service center. There was nothing they could do but go to a service center to get it fixed. So I took it into my hands and had to order a new frame. It will be up for sale as soon as it will be fixed! Not too happy with the brand!
I bought a new Husqvarna lawn tractor model #YTH22V42 just over a month ago
I bought a new Husqvarna lawn tractor model #YTH22V42 just over a month ago and the second time I used it, the mower blade drive belt came off. I re-installed it and continued mowing, but it came off again. I repeated this one more time and then I parked the mower. I had the dealer pick the mower up the following week and told the dealer that the belt kept coming off. He did not ask me any questions about circumstance or time used. The tractor was in their shop for 6 days. When they returned the tractor to me, they gave me a bill for $131 for parts (new belt), repair, and pickup/delivery. The dealer called me later that day and told me I was supposed to pay the bill and that the repair was not covered under the warranty. When asked why they would not cover the repair under the warranty, the dealer said the belt came off due to operator error, that I had re-installed it incorrectly, and that basically I had ruined the belt. However, the belt was not ruined when they picked up the mower and I noted this. In fact, it still looked new. I disputed this claim to the Husqvarna customer support and submitted that the belt was either installed incorrectly to begin with or was the wrong belt. I spent over 30 minutes on hold only to have the Husqvarna customer support person say that they would have their Warranty department review the claim and call me back in 1-2 business days. They did not. I am very disappointed with both the Dealer and the Manufacturer. I will never buy another Husqvarna product, nor will I ever patronize the Dealer, Robinsons Western Auto in Starkville, Mississippi.

To start, I work at Lowes on the Assembly Department. I know what youre thinking, but trust me, I hate working there more than you hate the store. From my experience, Husqvarna is a bad brand. They arrive pre-built, all I do is cut 4 sides of a box and roll the mowers off a pallet and into the parking lot for a 30 second test run to make sure it starts, goes forward, backward, blades engage and the brakes work. Then, it sits until the gas burns empty and it goes out to be sold. That being said, I am the one, at least at my store, who goes over the mower before it leaves for repair and I can tell you now your problems are not uncommon at all. On average, 1 out of 4 will have a flat tire before I can even test drive it. Another 1 out of 8 will be back with a bad tire the first month of use. Then theres the rotting tire issue you could face (I actually got an email that in short, said Husqvarna tires are fine. If you have people, who claim to have rotting tires, its not our fault. But because they claim its a problem, we will replace them if they ask.). If you make it through that phase, 1 in 10 will have a fuel/carb issue that needs to be addressed in the 1st year. If you have a 46in Husqvarna, check it out. They had to recall them for a gas issue this spring (2012). If you have a chainsaw, its realistically 1 in 2 that has a fuel issue (fuel line or cap or primer bulb). 1 in 8 have a chain slip problem with their saws. About the same number, 1 in 8 have issues with transmission/transaxle problems on mowers. Ive seen decks fall off, welds snap, the steering wheel is never aligned correctly with the front wheels and cant be adjusted easily. Thats just the things I can remember right now at the moment. I wont even start on the push mower and Poulan Pro stuff thats produced by them. Now for those who get pissed at Lowes, you should. This is something that you should be. If we treat you like **, tell them you want to speak to a district manager to file a complaint or do it online (it affects the bonus payout of the store manager and above so they get all annoyed and do anything possible to try and fix the problem). Those who claim that Husqvarna isnt at fault for using 3rd party products under their brand are only kidding themselves. Husqvarna is essentially making a claim that they manufacture quality products. If they believe this claim, they should use quality material. Saying its the transmission companys fault doesnt address the reality that someone at Husqvarna chose that company to partner with that product.

I was really disappointed with not being able to raise the level of the cut any. It meant it was absolutely worthless to me in the condition delivered. Here it sits... over a year later and never mowed a darn thing.
Bought a new Husqvarna riding mower for $1800 from our Sears Hometown Store
Bought a new Husqvarna riding mower for $1800 from our Sears Hometown Store, Foley, AL. The engine developed a problem at 10 hours. Went to Sears store, they set up an appointment and had to wait 2 plus weeks. 5 minutes before the appointment the Sears rep called me and asked if the mower was orange. Said yes he would not work on it. Store manager said he would take care of it and would call which he did not do. Went to store and he said I needed to call Husqvarna. Husqvarna referred me to a dealer and the dealer said, Did you buy it here? Since I did not buy it there it will 6 to 8 weeks before he could look at it. Im 76 years old and I now have to push mow my yard, and out $1800.
After two years of relatively light use, my Husqvarna Chainsaw 455 Rancher
After two years of relatively light use, my Husqvarna Chainsaw 455 Rancher suddenly wouldnt start. I took it to an authorized service center who after examining it, said the engine had seized. He said the fuel mixture was set too lean causing insufficient lubrication in the cylinder. What?! Firstly, I never adjusted the fuel mixture because I didnt know how. Secondly, the manual says there is a factory installed limiter cap on the mixture adjusting screw to guard against inadvertent damage to the engine caused by improper adjustment. So tell me how the engine could seize if there is a factory installed safeguard? Dealer couldnt tell me. He said that the limiter may have been defective. Since the saw is just out of its two year warranty, the service center could do nothing for me. So, Im out nearly $400 on a saw that has to be trashed. I bought a Husky based on its brand reputation, in which after reading all the negative reviews and my own experience, I will replace this saw with a Stihl.

I purchased a new Husqvarna saw from Lowes and use it twice. On second, the use of the engine seized mechanically. I contacted Lowes for repair. The service advisor tried to say I used too much oil in the gas mix and caused the failure. As a mechanic for over 30 years, I informed him that a rich seize was not possible. Foul the plug, maybe, excess smoke, probably, seizing; no way! Authorized to take to local service center. I was informed that the saw was three years old and out of warranty. Produced my (6-month-old) receipt as proof of date. After several weeks of wrangling on the part of the service center, I was authorized to do repair. I found that the wrist pin clip had fallen out and allowed the wrist pin to become lodged under the cylinder. Okay, problem identified and repaired. I was informed by repair center that the carburetor should be replaced for $175, thanks. I got the saw back and sold it on e-bay for 50 cents on the dollar. I went to real chain saw dealer, bought it and it works awesome; 30 cords in and no problems. Never again for Lowes or Husky!I lost $200 and got way too much aggravation.
Bought a Husqvarna 42 yard tractor June 2016. Has had transmission problems
Bought a Husqvarna 42 yard tractor June 2016. Has had transmission problems from day one. Now, its downright dangerous. Transmission will not disengage when you let off the gas. Have to hit the brake to stop it. This happens sporadically so you have zero warning to get the mower stopped. Finally scheduled a repair through the purchase place and they are charging me 200 bucks to pick it up. Worst lawn mower ever. Never again. I will never trust it again so Ill have to buy a new DIFFERENT brand and park this useless hunk of junk as a back up mower.

An update on my mower: Since I am retired from the Military, I have the time to make sure I spend some days next spring, at the Lowes in Lima, Ohio where I purchased my Husqvarna, to inform potential customers to not buy a Husqvarna, to let them know Lowes orders Husqvarna products and has inferior parts installed so Lowes can sell them at a lower cost. The customers don’t know this, they think they are getting the genuine Husqvarna product with parts that are to specifications – not true. I am very confident I will be able to steer away at least 10 customers easily. I have done this type of tactic before, and it worked great. If I can steer 10 potential customers away that is an estimated 30K in lost revenue. ** Lowes and ** Husqvarna.

Bought new Husqvarna riding mower lgt2654, 1 year old. When it had 9 hrs on it ... would not start trans, slipping big piece of junk. No help from Husqvarna. Called several times. Lowes tried. Was gone for 4 months at repair shop. Came back with same problem... Always had a craftsman, no problem. Want a Husqvarna, nice looking tractor.. so I bought one. Big mistake. Never again.....

I bought my RZ4623 on 3-12-12 and my first invoice for warranty work was 6-21-12. While cutting a flat space of grass the deck began to shake violently. I raised the deck and again engaged the blades and it didnt shake as bad but the blade on the right side would not turn. Upon inspecting it closer I noticed that the pulleys are PLASTIC?!? And the bolt and shaft that hold the pulley to the blade housing is METAL? During normal use any mower deck gets a rough ride and it is just a matter of time before metal chews up plastic in such a rough place. I took it in for service and was without a mower for the better part of the summer. Last year was ok. Now this year I was cutting my grass and the same exact thing has happened with the same exact pulley on the right side. I see some people have said the belt comes off and Im guessing the bind and pressure puts extra force on that right side and either the belt comes loose or that metal shaft wears out the plastic on that side. $2600 from Lowes for this piece of crap and 2 out of 3 summers it will be spent inoperable. Lowes passes the buck to Husqvarna and Husqvarna wants me to take it to a service center and fix it. I dont want it fixed, I want a different mower. This is the last full summer of my warranty coverage and I already know this pulley WILL fail again. It already has done the same exact thing twice, why do I want the same LEMON back to break down again next summer to the tune of a $200 repair? There is a definite design flaw on this mower, a manufacturer defect, a LEMON is what it is. But you can forget a recall being issued. There is too much money spent to recall it. They would rather settle their issues one at the time even if it comes to a lawsuit which mine may come to because $2600 for a mower that wont mow 2 out of 3 summers is absolutely unacceptable!

I purchased a PZ60, top of the line zero turn. Costing only $10,500.00 for a lawn mower, and two backpack blowers. Two days of using the first backpack blower, it started acting up, no power. Took it back for service, needs a carb. Week later, its ready to go. Ten minutes of use, no power. Needs a gas cap. The top of the line mower blows a belt at 75 hours and has blown three in six months. Belts are $110.00 a piece but they are covered under warranty for now. Second blower now needs a gas cap because its leaking all over. Again, covered by warranty. First blower has been setting in the garage and hasnt been used. But the reason Im writing this is because the second blower has just completely come apart and the service guy said to throw it in the trash. Husqvarna replaced it under warranty with a new one. Thats all well and good but its been a huge inconvenience and what happens when the warranty runs out. Im screwed. I want my hard earned cash back.

I have a riding mower that the gas tank goes bad on. They break, and Husqvarna is well aware of the failing part. So how do they help - they stop making the part so the mower is useless. Do not buy this brand if you intend to be able to use it for a long period of time. When I contacted customer service they sent me to a vendor who also doesn’t have the part.

I have had nothing but trouble with the front steering system. The front tires tow outward, Ive done everything to correct but it did no good. Im going to purchase a new different brand because this one continues to destroy my lawn and also tears my tires, bought a new set and they are showing signs of wear. Last Husqvarna for me.

Long story short I got a leaf blower 2 yrs ago as a gift and last week it stopped working. Went to check the fuel filter and it was never installed at the factory. Ordered a new push primer button kit and spark plug. Would stay running. Carb needs to be pulled and clean. Due to the fact that the company is putting out poor quality product I put the leaf blower in the garbage. I would rather rake leaves than own any products from this company.

Husqvarna 390XP chainsaw - Piston/cylinder melted during the second tank of gas. The service center could not determine the cause, but replaced cylinder and piston. After 8 more tanks of gas, the engine seized. The piston/cylinder burned up again. The service center reported a metal support between the carb and head was missing from the factory. During the first repair, the technician noticed it missing and thought they changed the design. They explained that after the saw warmed up, it would allow air to leak into the head causing the saw to run too lean and too hot. As this was a factory error, I expected an apology or a new saw, but received neither. I paid $1,100 for this factory defect saw and would be lucky to get half of that for this saw that has burned up twice. I asked for a refund or a new power head but Husqvarna would do neither. They said it would still be covered under warranty, but I would rather be cutting logs than waiting for repair service. At this point, I do not trust this saw that has been exposed to extreme heat twice and have to baby the saw or take a loss and sell it. Husqvarna did not do me right and I will never purchase a Husqvarna product again. If you are considering purchasing a Husqvarna, be forewarned.

This blower is a lemon. From the start it was in need of repairs. I used it the first winter which it worked somewhat okay. The power steering on the left side was a little hard to work. In September of that year I had Fasco Appliance in Oshkosh, Wisconsin come and pick it up to check it over. That is when the problem started. When they brought it back there was no high speed. Fasco Appliance in Oshkosh said there was nothing wrong with it and that was it was supposed to run that slow. I had them pick it up again because I knew that it was wrong. They replaced the power steering cable and a belt. When I got it back the second time the speed was still slow and now when you released the auger lever it still kept on running.I then called Krueger Hardware in Neenah who picked it up from Neenah, who charged me a quarter of the pick up charge that Fasco did and Fasco is in Oshkosh. Krueger found that Fasco had put the auger belt on wrong and that it burnt the belt cover. Now this year on the first snow fall the high speed was gone again so I had Kruegers come and pick it up. They found that three of the seven bolts on the crank cover were loose and that caused a leak which dripped on the belts. They had to replace both of the belts. Fasco cause this too.Now on January 26, 2017 I find that the power steering on the left side is bad again. It almost takes two hands to activate it. So this is going to cost me more money. I am seventy years old and cant afford all these bills. What gets me mad is that I had a Sears Craftsman blower for ten years and all I put in it was gas, oil and the skid plates once. If I keep this blower that long I would have paid for it in repairs ten over. This blower new cost me $2197.77. The serial number is 081811m000136. Is there something wrong with this blower?

I was looking for a Chainsaw for my Wife. I choose Husqvarna. I found a 240 series 38.2 2 stroke motor. It was light, looked to be user friendly and really nice to look at. Before trying to start it I read the manual, gassed and oiled it up. I went to pull start it and it acted like the motor was locked up. I checked the chain break and it was off. We had a family emergency and I was not able to look at it for several weeks. I tried again to start it and it was so hard to pull. I then called the company called Innovations and told them my problem. They looked me up in their computer and found me. They did at that time let me know that it was not under warranty! I have only owned it for a few months I said, she told it has a 90 day warranty! I missed it on the paperwork that was sent with the saw. I then was stuck either taking it to the shop in Town or work on it myself. First thing on this saw I noticed three adjustment holes on the left side of the plastic cover. Husqvarna told me that the carb cannot be adjusted by the consumer and that I need a special tool that refuse to sell me! I then learned that it can be adjusted with a Bic pen with the ink inners removed. Armed with my pen and tearing this thing apart so I can get it freed up I finally got this thing to run and idle! This saw just ran rough and when I turned it off it was back to hard to pull! After working on freeing this thing up again, I got it to start and run. Well it stopped on its own and would not restart! After troubled shooting this thing again, I found a fouled Champion plug! I drove over to John Deere to buy a new plug. After I bought and paid for the plug I walked over to the saws. I found a Sthil saw on sale for almost the same price as the Husqvarna. So I bought it! The sales person that I have dealt with for years stated that that Husqvarna is not a Husqvarna, its a Sears Chainsaw!... Huh? I would if been better to buy one at Harbor Freight! This my experience with the Husqvarna 240 38.2 14 inch bar saw. The only thing I can say is if I would of known what I found out the hard way I would say to anyone that comes in contact with this saw is... RUN FORREST RUN!
We purchased a Husqvarna riding mower from Lowe’s in Gloucester, Virginia
We purchased a Husqvarna riding mower from Lowe’s in Gloucester, Virginia. From the beginning it would throw the blade belt unusually when you turned off the mower but sometimes when running. According to Lowe’s this was a known defect and after several unsuccessful fixes from Lowe’s we were told all we could do was send it to service. (NOTE: There are more than complaints on this subject here is but one: **).The unit was sent to ALTAQUIP in Dunn, NC. Who surely did not read the service tag as they stated “Belt had to be replaced and out of warranty.” Certainly the belt had to be replaced it kept flying off, nevertheless they claimed the reason was the deck was dirty. The only reason the deck was slightly dirty a demonstration had been performed for the driver from the service center. The question was asked, “How could you mow the lawn if the deck getting dirty caused the belt to come off”. No response was given! Lowe’s against my wishes paid the bill.Upon receipt of the unit and in front of Lowe’s personnel the mower was run and when turned off the belt came off. The unit was returned to the service center. This time they claimed the reason the belt came off was the deck was uneven. (Nothing had changed if the deck was uneven now it was the first time!) They again replaced the belt though they did not charge for it. Again, against my wishes Lowe’s paid the bill. Upon receipt of the unit and in front of Lowe’s personnel the mower was run and when turned off the belt came off. Showing the unit to a local service center authorized to work on Husqvarna but not conduct warranty work we were told there was no way either reason would cause the belt to come off ; further recommending we stay with authorized service centers. It was then found as previous noted that this problem was a latent defect and this was the recommended repair; “On the mower deck, you will see an idler pulley that maintains proper tension on the belt at all times. As the belt stretches, the spring-loaded idler pulley applies more tension on the belt. Due to this, there is no reason to complete routine tensioning maintenance on this mowers belt. However, there is a built-in lever that allows you to apply or release tension to the belt to engage or disengage the drive belt. This lever turns the mower blades on and off. When you disengage the drive belt, it causes enough slack in the belt to allow the belt to slip off the main drive pulley, preventing the blades from continuing to spin. Without the ability to adjust the belt tension, you could never turn off the blades, which would cause a safety risk as well as require you to replace your belt much more often. The recommend fix has not helped the problem. I believe the company should refund the fees paid by Lowe’s and consider review current manufacturers manuals, know defect and repairs with their service personnel. That Lowe’s exercises better control over their subcontractors. Since the situation described above the unit now will not move, the engine runs fine. I am disabled so regardless of what the problem was I would in all likelihood not be able to repair it. I dont know what I was thinking but because of the description Hydrostatic transmission I assumed the mower had some type transmission; I was wrong it had a drive belt. I can only assume like the mower drive belt it had tension issues the mower has yet to reach a maintenance point. Anyway this time it was another $146.00 to replace that belt which the company paid once again.I tried to argue with the box company that for a company be in Carolina and for them to handle, stockpile mowers from across Virginia until they have enough to ship has to have built in a wide profit margin, couldnt they find local service centers? That is another issue the mower will be gone three + weeks. I am amazed in a company that made a public announcement they were going to concentrate on Customer Service acts like this they must have meant another company!

My girlfriend hit a rock and the lawn mower stalled and would not start, had to take it to a shop I bought it from. They said I bent the shaft and charged me 90 dollars not covered by warranty. They said Ive hit rock harder with cheap Sears lawn mowers and didnt pay $325 for them. Very disappointed and I own another Husqvarna lawn mower and weed eater.

The local Husqvarna dealer was offering a $50 rebate on the lawnmowers, so I purchased one. I initially got a letter back that said I hadnt sent in the warranty card along with the rebate (which I did). After going back to the dealer and asking him to sort it out, about 2 months later, I received a $30 rebate, not $50 as I was promised.

Lawnmower HU800AWD - Mower has been in the repair shop since July 14 for warranty repairs. Husqvarna is taking its time in sending repair parts to the their repair shop during this period. IF a repair part is sent, it takes about 1 week. I will NOT be purchasing another Husqvarna product (this is my first). I contacted their customer service on 9/12 regarding this issue and have not heard anything back. I will follow up on the 19th.

Recently I had a great friend of mine suffer a terrifying injury from a Husqvarna z560 Zero Turn Lawn Mower. I was wondering if anyone owns a Husqvarna zero turn mower that has or had the capability to move on its own or ever went in reverse without any control? Another.. Has anyones mower ever moved when getting up out of the seat or is/was capable of moving when getting out of the seat? Any insight would be of great help! Thank You.

I was unfortunate enough to buy a LZ5225 with the rear discharge deck...2 hours in and the motor throws a rod. 4 hours on the meter and the drive belt shreds. 5 belts later (average about 12 hrs per belt - belts cost $90 bucks), the spindle locks up. So far this mower has been broken much more than it ran. I thought this was a lemon but the dealer or factory was not interested in making things right. After reading this website I now see my mower is a standard ** - piece of doo doo from Husqvarna. Too bad there is not a consumer group capable of kicking this corp. out of the US...

I purchased a HU800AWD in Spring of 2015. The first or second time I mowed my backyard I hit a green pine cone buried in the grass. There was the usual sound when a mower hits something solid. Several laps later the drive mechanism began to slip. I stopped the mower. I found that a green pine in the drive mechanism with a bunch of grass and the PLASTIC part that covered an access to the drive mechanism had a nice hole and crack that ran to a corner screw. I cleaned out the drive mechanism, bought a sheet of thin steel, bent it into as close an approximation as I could and attached it to the mower deck. Here I want to say that my former mower a 15 year old Toro had on many occasions hit green pine cones, hidden dog toys or tennis balls in deep grass with never a hiccup. My front yard due to fescue requires a mower height change every time I mow. One of the curved tips of levers has broken off. I was willing to live with the inconvenience of the 4 wheel adjustment as opposed to one lever to change all wheels at once due to what I thought was Husqvarna quality. I made a mistake. I would not buy this mower again. I tried to post a review on Husqvarna but got the message that the review could not be posted due to some error.

I have a 3 year old Husqvarna zero turn mower rz 4623. Now I only have a 28 hours on it. Already replaced blade pulley and Im on my 3rd clutch for the blades part # 505287301. The red wire on it keeps breaking at the clutch making it not repairable and Husqvarna wont stand behind it. Its over $200 every time. Was told by customer service that Im on my own even though I only have 28 hours on it. Will never buy another Husqvarna product and make sure none of my friends will either.

I have had this lawn mower two season and it has been in the shop four times at my expense. It is now broken again (will not go in reverse). I have a Husqvarna chain and a weed eater both two years old and both do not work either. To call Husqvarna products junk is to give junk a bad name. I am hoping that there is a Labor Day sale on lawn mowers so I can buy a decent lawnmower so I can take this piece of garbage to the dump where it belongs. I will conclude by saying that, if you know someone that you really - really despise, talk them into buying a Husqvarna product.

Husqvarna 128LD overheats. Purchased a refurbished weed eater online from VMInnovations and it initially seemed ok until I actually tried to do a trim job with it. The unit overheats after about 10 to 15 minutes of use and dies, wont start again until it cools. Unit comes with a worthless warranty from the manufacturer. No factory authorized dealer will service a unit under warranty unless you bought it from them. Why would Husqvarna authorize someone unwilling to do the job? Calls to the manufacturer require 2 hours on the phone dancing around with them on one please hold after another only to be told that refurbished units only carry a 30-day warranty.Tried explaining their authorized refurbished seller has a 90-day manufacturer warranty spelled out on their eBay to no avail. VMInnovations claims it is only warrantied by the manufacturer so I guess nobody warranties Husqvarna anything. An item being refurbished should be just that but it should be thoroughly checked to make sure its ok. Buyer beware: unless you buy their products from a dealer and overpay for it dont expect warranty. Husqvarna is fully aware of this fact.

LGT2654 - As I was mowing my lawn the rear left tire fell off. The problem being the axle broke, now for as much money I had spent on purchasing this piece of equipment counting on the name brand as to be quality. I am very upset that there has not been a recall, and if the Husqvarna company wants to be known as a cheap garbage selling company then they are on the right track as I have seen many complaints for this same problems online. Best regards to the brand I THOUGHT WAS QUALITY.

Been a very reliable mower at a very reasonable price, the only parts we have had to replace are the blades and a drive belt. It is the 750 V twin engine and has lots of power to pull our trailer add-ons. Never been stuck through not enough power but have been stuck through only one rear wheel drive and wheels churned the grass to mud then lost traction. 2 wheel drive, gears for more control of speed would make this great mower even better. After 5 years of trouble free service developed a petrol tank leak and the tank is very hard to access.

Husqvarna riding lawn mower yth24v54xls - Ive had this mower for 2 years. Ive had to change out spindles on the mower deck twice. Ive had two more deck because the weld on the brackets broke. I have had to put on a motion drive belt and I am still having problems with the belt staying on. I get no response from Husqvarna nor the dealer of why or anything in that nature. Customer service sucks on their part of a company. If there was ever a lemon I have it and Husqvarna give no satisfaction. I would not buy another Husqvarna product again and I have four or five of their products now.

Bought a Husqvarna gas blower at Lowes. After running for a total of less than 2 hours, it simply will not start. Call Husqvarna, only to find nearest warranty dealer is over 30 miles away. Will NEVER buy Husqvarna again.

I purchased a brand-new Husqvarna ZTR mower one year ago. In the year that Ive had it, it has been to the repair shop three times for repair. My mower is currently being repaired and they have had my mower now for four weeks (the part they need is back ordered!). I have 5 acres to mow and it costs $75/acre to hire the job done. If you do the math, you can see that hiring someone to mow 5 acres for 4 weeks is ridiculous! I could have bought a new mower with that money! I feel like Husqvarna should make this right. I have contacted customer service many times and they offer no solutions. They just tell me to take it to the repair shop and wait for the part. 4 weeks during mowing season is beyond ridiculous and they offer no solutions. I could lose a small child in my yard because I cant afford to have anyone else come out to mow! Ive already gone that route a few times and I dont have the extra money now. The representative simply said, Im sorry youre having these issues and I understand it can be frustrating. I feel like they should take this lemon and replace it. Or pay to have my 5 acres mowed (that might speed them up on this repair!). I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING THIS MOWER. I WILL NEVER BUY HUSQVARNA IN THE FUTURE.

I purchased a Husqvarna YT46LS tractor from Bensons Hardware Derry, NH. I loved it. I had about 7 or 8 hours on it and was mowing my lawn for approx. 2 hours when all of a sudden I felt oil spewing out all over my clothes and face. I shut it down. Keep in mind; I actually had to refill my gas tank because I used almost all the gas in the tank. After 2 or more hours of cutting, then oil was everywhere. I called Bensons in Derry, NH. Brian told me he would take care of it. Well, I got in touch with them and their answer to my problem was that I never put the oil stick in properly (Owners Fault). So after 2 plus hours of mowing a lawn with no problems, the oil stick pops up and leaks all over everything. Wouldnt you think if I put the oil stick on wrong that problem wouldnt wait for 2 hours to rear its ugly head??? Buyer, beware of Husqvarna and especially Bensons Derry, NH. I was charged 73 plus dollars for them to clean the engine. So sorry; I am now afraid to use it because this problem will probably happen again. Oh and I am supposed to change the oil at 10 hours. Bensons said that they would change my oil. They didnt and Brian didnt remember telling me that.

We bought a new Husqvarna mower at the end of last summer. We have had problems with getting it in gear and with breaking. The local dealer informs us that there is a recall for this problem. Husqvarna has no fix and advises not to use it. So, we have a new mower and cant use it for safety reasons. I am not happy at all.

We bought the weed trimmer at Lowes after comparing many brands and styles. I already owned a Husqvarna leaf blower and have been very pleased. The weed trimmer was light, quiet, and very easy to use. The string feed is a major improvement over other styles offered by other manufacturers. It only takes a light push on the ground to advance the string. It starts easily and has a lot of power for a 2 cycle. I will definitely purchase other power tools from Husqvarna in the future.

Bought my zero turn in July 19 by Aug. 19. The wheel on the deck fell off. The retailer sold me a new bolt and said its a common problem. After 3 more bolt replacement I ask for a new deck with double brackets (the 2020 model) to hold the wheel on. Husqvarna refused. The service center feels they are using any excuse they can not to pay a claim. Ive tried to escalate but they refuse to listen or forward me to a higher authority.

Husqvarna LC221RH; purchased 7 weeks ago, less than 5 hours use, only used where the rider cant get. The self propel feature stopped working. The only option the company gave me was to drive 120 miles, round trip, to the nearest service center. If they make me leave it and return for pick up another day, that will be 240 miles driving. Issue #2 The front cover gets packed with grass and they couldnt tell me how to get it out. It appears the only way to get it out is to remove four bolts, every time. Its a design flaw for a rear wheel drive mower. They use the same body for an all wheel drive mower and they dont close off the holes in the front for the rear wheel drive mowers. Issue #3 They make trying to do the paperwork for a rebate like getting a root canal. They obviously do not want to honor their rebates, if at all possible. I have done hundreds of rebates, probably more, over the years and I have NEVER dealt with a company that was so difficult. Their website is ineffective. I will NEVER buy this brand again.

We purchased our mower 5 years ago and right after we got it, the wheel fell off. So, Lowes brought us a new machine. We purchased the 4-year extended warranty and wouldnt you know it, one month after the warranty expired, the motor went out. We have a new motor $1,200 later. That was in July. Now, in May of the following year, the transmission goes out…that’s another $985. We could have just bought a new mower. Now, we’re spending another $2,200 only 5 years later. I will NEVER buy another Husqvarna ever again. Im very upset that weve just spent $4,400 on a $2,000 mower in a matter of 5 years.

I purchased a Husqvarna (46-in, 21-hp, YTH21K46) a year ago from Lowes. After using the mower twice, the transmission brackets broke. I had to take it and have it repaired. I used it one more time and the deck brackets broke and the deck was dragging on the ground, had that welded, used it one more time and the transmission brackets broke again. This mower is a complete waste of money. I will buy anything else except Husqvarna.

POS. First cant reverse without shutting off mower (Husqvarna 46 Rider w/ lg bags) or unengaging blade which causes unneeded stress on drive belt being engaged off and on (a lot!). Lever to engage/unengaged slams your right knee cap! OW! Safety??? Bagging SUX! Bought large bags. They are terrific. Problem is the mower clogs constantly. Wet or Dry = clog. Short or tall = clog. Small twig = clog. I spend more time with this crappy mower then I ever did with my old Sears on the Fender shifter. Takes me an EXTRA HOUR to mow my 1 acre. Tires? SUCK! Small uphill grade and the tires just spin. DO NOT BUY this mower unless you like frustration and have a great deal of time you dont need.

I purchased a Husqvarna RZ46i on Wednesday the 21st of May. I arranged to pick up the mower after work on Thursday the 22nd. I got home late and decided to mow the lawn knowing that it would be dark by the time I got half way done. I noticed that the mower had a vibration in the deck when it was off and the motor was on idle. I looked at the electric clutch and noticed that there was far too much run out between the clutch and the motor shaft. I engaged the blades and idled the motor up to about half throttle and deck shook badly. If I sped the motor up the deck would smooth out some but vibration was sure to take a toll on the life of the bearings in the clutch and the deck spindles. I mowed the grass and the right headlight went out within 15 minutes most likely from the vibration. I called the store and arranged for another mower to try. They called me back when it was ready and I went to check it out. The other mower acted the same way! The mechanic said that it had a three year warranty and I told him that that would be around the time that the bearings would start failing. He said I could buy the extended warranty and I told him I could buy the clutch for less than that. I rejected that mower at the store and left it there. I told the mechanic that I wanted to call Husqvarna on Tuesday the 27th since they would be closed on Memorial Day and see where they stood on the issue. The customer service rep. had never heard of this problem and did not seem to know anything about belts and clutch alignment. She threw the responsibility back on the distributor as the one that should fix their Quality escape. Since the stores fix was the extended warranty and Husqvarnas was its not our problem then my decision was simple. I canceled the sell and bought a John Deere Z425. It was about a $1000.00 more but the clutch is aligned correctly. It runs and mows smooth as glass. Vibration is the number cause of failure in a bearing and then the heat that is generated in the process. When purchasing one of these mowers I would caution you to check the vibration and the run out on the clutch. Just because it may smooth out some at high RPM does not mean that everything is OK.

2 years ago I purchased the $99 gas weed trimmer. This summer, would not run. Had it checked at a certified dealer, needed carburetor kit & tune up kit for $50. No way, going to put my $50 towards a LI battery model of a different manufacturer. Very disappointed with Husqvarna.

Bought mower from Sears, it was made by Husqvarna. The mower might have 30-40 hours of use. Towards end of last year wasnt working just right, mower went to repair shop in April, found clutch plate broken, mower has 2 in it, one was fine. I should have mentioned earlier this is a MODEL # 944.601380. Part listed key #59 part #441097. Guess what - no longer available. To get this part now I have to purchase the whole clutch assembly $369.00 US compared to $20.00 for clutch plate. I am not a happy camper and I will never buy a Husqvarna product again and will tell all about my experience. Their claim to fame is #1 in outdoor power tools but do they work and worth your money? NO.
After trying to get my McCulloch chainsaw to continue running after 25 year
After trying to get my McCulloch chainsaw to continue running after 25 years and unable to get parts, I finally decided it was time to break down and get a new chainsaw. I was at Lowes and decided to buy the Husqvarna Model 440 as it seemed to be the best fit for my needs. Between being extremely busy and injuring my elbow, I did not get to using the chainsaw for several weeks. When I went to use the chainsaw, it would not start. I tried several times and the chainsaw would not fire up. A check of basic systems indicated it was getting gas (the plug was wet) but saw only minimal spark. I called Husqvarna expecting customer service but I was told that I would have to take it to the dealer for warranty repair. They gave me the name of a dealer with hours that are difficult for my work schedule. When I took time off from work to get to the dealer, he told me that he does not do warranty work on chainsaws purchased from Lowes. He directed me to another dealer not listed on Husqvarnas locator who does this work. They were also closed. So I still have a chainsaw that does not work, have had to take time off from work to get to the recommended dealer who does not perform this work, and spent money on gas driving around for a defective product. My expectations were: 1) Husqvarna telling me to take it back to Lowes where they would give me a new one and send the defective one back to Husqvarna; or 2) Send me return postage labels so I could send the saw back to Husqvarna (similar to Dell Computers policy). Instead I have the burden of repairing a defective product placed on the customer instead of the supplier of the defective product. Of all the items I have purchased in my life, I do not believe I have ever had such a poor buying experience. I will never buy another Husqvarna product and will warn my friends against purchasing Husqvarna products if this is their definition of customer service.

At one and half years old, the mower began to lose the drive belt off of the pulleys. I purchased a new belt thinking that was the problem and began to install them. During this I discovered that the two bolts holding the front of the transaxle were missing. On inspection I discovered that they had stripped the threads in the transaxle. Looking closer I found that the frame mount brackets were breaking. One of the missing bolts was found on the deck. With the mechanical experience I have after looking at the 2 bolts, they are not long enough to handle the pressure placed on them during operation. They only go into the transaxle about a 1/4 inch. I checked the cost of the repairs and it was more than I wanted to spend on this mower. I decide to attempt repairs myself and was able to make new axle mounts that i bolted to each side of the mower frame. I looked at the transaxle schematic and discovered that I could remove the 2 bolts on top and drill from the bottom of the axle out through the bolt holes on top. This allowed me to install two four inch log bolts through the axle and the frame to secure it with lock nuts. This has worked for 2 years now. I was lucky that I repaired this issue for $20.00 and my labor. Now the steering system has failed. I have had issues with the steering drag links bending and allowing the tires to spread in the front making hard to steer. I have had to straighten them every year of use. This is all poor design issues.

We bought a $3,000.00 Husqvarna mower (used only for mowing). It was used 2.5 seasons and the frame broke on the rear end. I took it in and was told by the repair shop that it is a known defect, and Husqvarna makes a kit to repair it. Husqvarna made me pay half the labor costs! I called the company 2 months ago to complain that its not right to charge people on a factory defect. The guy said he would pass it on. I have never heard another word. My loss is minimal (as its not the money, but the principle). However, their loss will be huge. We have a large family and many church friends. They will no longer do business with Husqvarna. When you are a farmer and all your friends are farmers, that can be a lot of loss. I hope the amount listed below was worth it to them!

ONCE ENGINE FINALLY CLEARS OUT RUNS GOOD! Tractor stored in covered location under cabin Northeastern Pa. It is 2013 w/ 52 hrs on it! It has been at Husqvarna dealer going on week 4. Been told on 3 different phone conversations that it needs starter, SHOCKER KNEW THAT WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF! Now being told it would be quicker for me to pay for it myself and fix myself than to wait for warranty to clear for authorization from Husqvarna/Kohler! Hoping the best, expecting the worst!

Bought a mower from Lowes just around 3 years ago. Have had problems with it since the first time I mowed. Husqvarna will not back my warranty. The mower was dropped off at Lowe’s for a repair of deck issues 2 weeks short of warranty deadline. The subcontractor keep my mower for 2 months and submitted to Husqvarna numerous times for repairs unfortunately the transmission was bad. Now they say it’s out of warranty and it will cost more than it’s worth. So since it’s not fixable according to my warranty it should be replaced at no cost. But now they refuse and I’ve had to pick up a piece of junk for a yard ornament. DO NOT BUY HUSQVARNA!

I purchased a blower #115351227 less than 2 years ago. I have gardeners so I only use this thing about 12 times a years. It crapped out and took it to Lowes (a separate story), sent to so called authorized repair center. Its nearly 60 days later and now he tells me corporate is not responding, so he cant repair it. Tried contacting Poulan eight hundred number and this is your worst nightmare. Bottom line, I have a blower that is now technically out of way because my unit sat at a so called approved repair store that apparently was not approved. The hundred bucks for the blower is not my issue. I most certainly dont need the aggravation. If the CEO of Husqvarna gets to read this, I would hope heads will roll. This no way to run a company. Somebodys got to know that you guys need help.

I bought a Husqvarna 48 riding lawn mower from a Lowes store. The mower starts easily and runs well. It also has plenty of power. It uses a lot of gasoline. Power takes fuel I know. My biggest complaint is with the mower deck. I feel it is either sub-standard or a bad engineering design. When I make a pass mowing my lawn there are 1 to 2 sections/lines of grass between the sides of the deck that did not get mowed down. This requires me to make 1 to 2 additional passes to mow those lines. Any ideas how this can be remedied?

I have had a YTH24V48 for over 3 years and it has been a great mower. We clean the air filter often and change the oil and filter as required. The only problems we have had is when I hit rocks. We move about 4 acres with it, during the summer each weekend during the winter about once every 4 weeks. Living in Texas the grass grows all year long. I recently purchased a Z254 and this is a beast. Great mower - starts and runs like a top. No problems with it at all. Again we change the oil, oil filter and air filter when required and clean it after every use.

In April I bought a new Husqvarna mower from a local authorized dealer. The mower has never mowed level. After several tries to adjust the level myself (the turning of one nut) I contacted the dealer about it. They took it to their shop and reported back that I had bent a blade. I thought that was not true since it had not mowed level since its delivery, but I said OK and paid for new blades. It still did not mow level. They took it back to shop and replaced a part of the leveling mechanism, it still did not mow level. After keeping it a week doing whatever they brought it back today and I just finished mowing my yard and it is somewhat better but still is not level. I am contacting them tomorrow to take it back for the fifth time. I am getting so tired of this. If they cant fix it this time I will try to sell it and buy me another brand mower.

Do not ever buy a push mower from Husqvarna. 1st pull of string or last eventually the metal cover for shaft will break literally in half putting you or something in danger of being hit by 1/4 in steel and a good size chunk of it! Took it to certified lawn mower repair man. He said its common in these and almost everyone WILL do it eventually, so got it repaired. Found an old push mower for my small, flat yard and havent had a problem - got it free or Id burn down their factory! So Ill make $ selling to some idiot.

Mower model 206128961 - Bought 1/22/2016. No oil drain plug. Must flip mower almost upside down to drain. Plastic oil hole cap cant provide a tight seal. Fine threads in the oil hole but very coarse threads on cap - Result is Oil leakage when operating. Kohler has other engines with a oil filler tube assembly that provides a tight seal. This engine on this mower was made to Husqvarna specs. It appears Husqvarna eliminated the more expensive oil tube assembly to increase their profit. This is the LAST Husqvarna product I will buy.

I bought a 46 inch/24 hp lawn tractor and also purchased the three year extended comprehensive warranty. The rep told me that with the extended warranty I was almost guaranteed to have no maintenance expenses. I have found out the emphasis should have been on the word almost. In less than 1 year the machine broke down (i.e. carburetor and other parts went bad, etc.). To their credit, the service Husqvarna used did pick up the machine without charge, but that is the only positive aspect of this experience. I was told it would take more than 2 weeks before they could even look at the machine (and of course it was spring-time and the 3 acres of grass was not in a cooperative mood). After nearly a week, the rep called to tell me all that was wrong with this nearly brand new machine and was sad to inform me that nothing was covered under the extended warranty (big surprise). More than 2 weeks later and out more than $500 for repairs, I was livid. I wrote a detailed letter to Lowes, where I bought the machine and to Husqvarna. In that letter I cited provisions in the extended warranty where I was sure the repairs were covered and asked that someone contact me to set up an arbitration hearing, as set forth in the maintenance agreement. It has been more than three months now and I have not heard from either Lowes or Husqvarna. Both companies obviously have two customer service standards - pre-sale they are all smiles and supportive, post-sale they want nothing to do with customers. I spend a lot of money annually at Lowes and I will never shop that store again. I also will never purchase Husqvarna products again.
