I recently purchased a 2011 Nissan Rogue, on August 26th at Concordville Nissan in Pennsylvania. At first, it seemed as though I purchased a very good vehicle. It was a certified car, the mileage was reasonable, it had only one owner and it looked great. This praise quickly turned into a nightmare. During the test drive the passenger side windshield was covered by the cars feature list and certified sticker, covering the small crack I noticed the next day. I called Concordville and informed my salesman (Pat) about the crack and he told me to bring it in to be fixed. I wasnt able to do that then because I was going away to New York and then to Baltimore. On both of my trips I noticed the front wheels were swaying slightly, gliding to the left or to the right. On my return, I immediately contacted the service department (Sept. 11) about this new concern. After the car was inspected (Sept. 14), the Service Advisor (Darren **) informed me that there is a crack in the right side axle. WOW! I tried to shun the idea of what could have happen if the axle would have broken with my family and me driving that car while on vacation. Even though, the problem was fixed the same day, I am now worried about what new problem will arise. I no longer enjoy driving this car in fear of what other unknown defect will surface. On the same day the car was being repaired, I spoke with the Sales Manager (Ryan **) about my issues, explaining the entire situation. He seemed concerned about my frustration and even said he would confer with the Service Manager (Mark) about getting me into a different car. After, I asked if that was an option. No promise was guaranteed. As I returned to pick up the Rogue I requested to speak with Ryan **, he was unavailable, but Ryan ** was. So, I explained to situation again and again talking about getting a different car. He said he would look into it. This was around 3:30 pm. After waiting around for about two hours a salesman name Mark approached me and asked if I was being helped. I told him I was waiting on Ryan **. Mark went to the counter where Ryan ** was, talked to him a little and came back over and said who is helping you again? Then Pat, the salesman who sold me the car came over and asked me was my car still being repaired? No, I replied. Now getting angry because, not only was I forgotten about, no one seemed to know what Im talking about. I explained my situation once again. After 3 hours I was finally called over to the counter where now both Ryans are. Theyre telling me that: (1.) the axle wasnt cracked. The problem was with the ball bearings, but I have an invoice explaining the issue was the right front drive shaft. (2.) I can get into another certified car, a 2012 Morano that is going to cost me $645 a month with a $4000 down payment. I left the dealership very confused and upset. I just want to express how disappointed and frustrated I am with this whole process, from the issues with the car to the poor customer service. Now I see why they wouldnt show me any other car. I will never purchase another nor, will I recommend any of my family, friends or co-workers to purchase a Nissan Certified Car. I am also filing a consumer complaint with the Attorney General office in my state.

I have tried to open an online account to make lease payment 3 times. Every time, there is some issue. This time they wanted my account number. I dont walk around with my account number, and the letter they sent, has a lease number, which I guess, is not the same. When I called the cust. service number, I was put on hold so long, I finally hung up. In any event, you can bet your life that they would not of given me acct. number over the phone anyway. I like my new car, but being in cust. service myself, I find it laughable that I cannot find good cust. service anywhere. Based on these three call, which took up 3 lunch hours to try and complete, I WOULD NOT BUY ANOTHER NISSAN, NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND THEM EITHER... LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE SALE... Typical!!!

In August of 2010 I set up automatic payments for my newly purchased Nissan Rogue. All went smoothly for better than four years - then I get a call from Nissan Collections. The Nissan Collections agent informs me Im sixty days past due on my car payment and my response is, But Im signed up for automatic payments. I made full restitution immediately and was led to believe that the situation was not of my doing and that all would be corrected. Not so. Nissan attempted to blame my bank at first.Once I verified this wasnt true Nissan went into their standard defense mode - which is very well rehearsed. Nissan claims to have called me multiple times via their automated service, multiple times by an actual person, claimed to have left multiple voice-mail messages, and claimed to have left me at least one email regarding the ending of my automated payments. I did not receive any of what they claim - with the exception of the call I actually answered. My credit score went from 780 to just around 700 in the blink of an eye - and will cost me thousands over the life of the new mortgage Im applying for.Family, friends, and strangers will be sure to hear this story told over and over again. I want the world to know just how disappointed I am with this company. Correct your shamelessly faulty notification system and do right by loyal customers or you are doomed to fail. I do recall several apparently automated calls made to me around that time but there was nobody on the other end. After repeating hello several times I simply hung up. Is someone getting credit on a quota simply for dialing a number without answering it? Ill be contacting Comcast to see if they can do a search on this mystery email I supposedly received. Im paying off the last few month of my loan by check today. This will be the last Nissan I ever own.

I experienced transmission problems with my 2009 Cube which has 70,000 miles on it, Nissan says it has an extended warranty on the transmission of 120,000. Not so! I have broken down 3 times on a major highway after the car will not shift out of high gear after driving 65 to 70 MPH. It then will crawl to a slow dangerous speed. I have paid for 3 $250.00 tows, missed my grandsons graduation and been stranded late at night for Nissan to tell me they can find nothing wrong with the car on their diagnostic machine. THEY REFUSE to recreate the problem on the road as they cannot spare the man power. This is not a safe car and I can no longer drive it and feel safe. Needless to say Nissan is more than willing to put my family in a life threatening position to save a buck! We called Customer Affairs several times and they tried to convince and remind the dealer, Courtesy Nissan of Tampa that the transmission was under warranty. No avail. I found my car in the back lot after they had it for 8 days. They were happy to charge me over three hundred dollars after my second tow to flush the transmission which did nothing. Pretty sure they did nothing to try and help me. Never in the time I owned the car did I get honest service at that dealership. I had tire sensors replaced a few times and gave up because they have never worked and spent many nervous rides thinking I had a flat. I will never buy from Nissan again and I warn others to do the same. They do not care about the safety of their customers.

In 2014 my husband and I bought a brand new 2014 Nissan Rogue. I thought I had my dream car; little did I know, it was a nightmare car. In the last three years we have owned the car it has been in the shop at least 5 times for repairs that were covered under our warranty and two other times for voluntary recalls. I knew there was something not right with the transmission less than a year after we purchased the car. It made funny noises and jumped when changing gears. After 2 and a half years and many attempts to have Nissan look into the problem they finally replaced the transmission when it about fell out in their parking lot! Now, less than a month after having the transmission replaced, I am sitting here trying to get the air conditioning looked at cause there seems to be a leak that WAS NOT there before the transmission replacement. Nissan corporate has refused a buyback and I am stuck with a new car that I am still paying for that is still under warranty which has more problems than any used car Ive ever had!!

Where to start; I returned my leased Nissan Sentra in pristine condition, new tires, new brakes, new windshield wipers, immaculate inside and out, not a scratch. The car was garage kept under the mileage. Went to return it in January of 2014 to Paramus Nissan in NJ. They would not take the car back, after I called and asked if I could return it there. I bought it in Hackensack in 2011, the sister dealership, who now only does used vehicles. I went to Hackensack NJ and because I screamed and yelled, they took the car in. About 2 months later, I receive a call that they are putting my account in collections; now I was receiving calls all along about my monthly lease fees. However, I just kept telling them the car was returned in January of 2014. I even faxed over the paper showing I returned it. When they called 2 months later, I finally had enough and asked to speak to someone over them. There is no one. I have made phone calls, threatened the company with a lawsuit, media, exposure - they did not care. Finally, someone caring enough called the dealership in NJ and got everything straightened out. I told them since they ruined my credit, my score was 750 and now it is 62. I wanted them to wipe the slate clean for my disposition fee. They agreed, as they didnt want me to sue or go to the police to fill out papers about the fraud. They just committed in saying my car was not on the lot.Six months later, they are still saying I owe them money. They want $379 as they cant wipe out the disposition fee, the other fees for a scratch on the wheel cover, and 90 miles over my contracted mileage, they would waive. I explained the circumstances, and how I was told it would be forgiven because of the damage they had caused me. However, it fell on deaf ears. So now not only is a collection agency calling me regularly, but now I owe money I didnt owe before. I have tried feverishly to call Nissan. I tried corporate. I have left messages. I have called their consumer affairs department. I have called the leasing department. I had a very nice woman on the phone who put me through to corporate again, only to get a message stating to leave your name and number. Well, I have left my name and number about 30 times, starting about 4 months ago; still no answer. Please let everyone know to stay away from Nissan products. They are the most horrible company around. I am now the proud owner of a Honda, and they are fantastic. Their company truly cares. I have had not one single problem. I owned Nissans since 1993 and it was nothing but problems with their lock box and not getting payments and their warranties and now them losing my car. I just need to speak with their CEO to tell him what I think of Nissan, and how I want him to rectify this mess I am in. Imagine working so hard on keeping your credit clean. Nissan comes along and shots it down.

I have been back and forth to Nissan for the past year or so because the check engine light keeps coming on and the car runs hot. The past 30 plus days I have been back and forth. The dealership says one thing is wrong but Nissan warranty claims to be investigating. I have been out of my car over a week now and I keep getting the runaround. Im still under warranty. I just want Nissan to honor this warranty and stop trying to rip me off.

BUYER BEWARE. We set our payments up on auto draft, but it didnt work. We had no idea the payment wasnt being made until it was too late, and now its tanking our credit. We could have paid outright for the car, but financed it for the sole purpose of increasing our credit score. We began getting calls from Nissan shortly prior to the payment being 30 days late, which sounds like they were doing their due diligence, correct? Wrong.Their calling system is antiquated and set up exactly like someone committing identity theft, like the spam calls everyone gets numerous times per day. We had no way of knowing it was a legitimate call because sometimes wed answer and it would automatically disconnect. Wed call back. Sometimes it would answer and automatically disconnect, sometimes an automated system would ask for our FULL social security number (not just the last four of our SSN) before agreeing to connect us to a representative. Considering we thought we were set up on auto draft, therefore thought our payments were being made, and were getting calls from an automated system claiming to be Nissan, at times disconnecting when we answered, at times disconnecting when we called back, and asking us to enter our full social security number when we got through, it all seemed sketchy. It would not be difficult for anyone attempting identity theft to figure out we are making payments to Nissan, call us under the guise of Nissan, and ask for our personal information. Considering the circumstances, we legitimately thought these were spam calls. Furthermore, we received no written communication from Nissan letting us know payments werent being made, and no phone calls from a live representative. Just sketchy automated phone calls, like the numerous ones we get each day that are spam.My husband finally decided to figure out what was going on and called the dealership where we purchased the car. We had an incredible experience with them when we bought the car, which is the reason we bought a Nissan in the first place. The finance manager called the number with my husband to verify whether or not it was spam. Thats when we realized these calls were legitimate, our payments werent set up on auto draft, like we thought, and we had a payment over 30 days late. We explained our situation, brought our payments up to date immediately, even paying extra, and they submitted our account to the legal and credit department for review, to hopefully reverse the negative mark on our credit. Not only did they not reverse it, the customer service supervisor I spoke with when I called to find out the status of the account was incredibly rude and disrespectful. In all my years of talking to customer service representatives, some are fantastic, but she was among the worst. Degrading words, degrading tone of voice. It still astounds me that she spoke to me the way she did.I wish I would have read all of the negative reviews regarding Nissan Finance before we financed our vehicle. Like I stated before, we could have paid cash for it, but decided to finance it for the sole purpose increasing our credit score. At the very least we would have financed it through our own bank, it was just easier the day we purchased the car to go ahead and finance through Nissan. BIG MISTAKE! We aren’t done fighting this. If there is a resolution other than our current situation I will update this review. I’m not looking forward to the hours we are going to have to put in to correct a situation that wouldn’t exist if Nissan Finance operated like a company that legitimately cared about its customers, like Honda, Toyota, etc. etc. Again, BUYER BEWARE! If you finance through Nissan, get ready for a rough ride. Keep track of your auto drafts – DO NOT trust that the system will do what it’s supposed to do. And if you happen to have an issue to work out be prepared to be talked to very disrespectfully.

I purchased my car about 6 months ago, a Nissan Versa 4-door sedan. My car ran fine up until I went in for scheduled maintenance and the dealer did a CVT reprogram. Now it is vibrating most of the time when idle. It was shaking so bad at one point that I can feel the vibration in my leg when my foot is on the break. Also on my hand when it is on the steering wheel. I only have around 38 k miles on this car. Prior to this update, I was really impressed at how my car performed almost like it was new. Now I am scared and very disappointed to say the least.

I purchased a Nissan Rogue 2015 from Koeppel Nissan, Queens NY. It has been in their service department several times for different issues but the main Issue is a Broken Transmission within 6 months of having this car. I had a Nissan Versa 2012 and traded in for this Rogue 2015 and I really regret have done that. Nissan Koeppel has been really unprofessional with me. I found out that they were claiming repairs for my car when my car was not even near their service department. I think that because my car has been IN so many times, they thought that they could claim repairs any time they wanted even when my car was not around.I tried to get in touch with Nissan Consumer Affairs and asked them for support, but they have done anything for me. So I had to contact the BBB and open a complaint. My car still has issues that hasnt been repaired, make noises, the transmission still has issues, the engine is weak, the MPG is only 15 in the city when is supposed to be at least 28, I feel like Im driving a Non-fuel Economy car, Im having issues with my entry Key, the car wont turn on sometimes and the list goes on... And the fact that this dealer in Queens New York was faking some repairs which I confronted on Sep 18th, and because of that I was asked to leave and never come back because I found out that they were lying about my car repairs, at this point, I dont know if they actually fixed my car when my car was actually in their service department.I dont feel safe with this car, I dont believe that they have done anything to my car and Im really disappointed with the service of Koeppel Nissan and Nissan Consumer Affairs. I believe this Nissan Rogue 2015 is a faulty car!!! And I dont want anyone to go through what Im going through, especially as a single mother. I was able to get a meeting with Nissan North America and BBB this month and hopefully they can replace this car or give me back my Nissan Versa. I will keep you posted!

My problem with NMAC began in December of 2011. I was behind two payments and I was making agreements with NMAC to satisfy those payments. In the past, I have tried to obtain a copy of my title so that I could register the vehicle where I am currently living. Mrs. ** of collections lied to me and told me that the document was requested and it is on its way but it never arrived. I have called NMAC several times to address this matter and they never assist me. They have threatened me about repossessing the vehicle although I have been making payments and keeping the agreements that I have with them. Currently, my vehicle has been sent out for repossession and an account representative by the name of Mrs. ** has been calling my job although she has been speaking with me daily regarding my car loan as the result of a complaint that I have filed against her. Today, she called and threatened the office manager at my job. She has asked personal information about the office manager and I. Mrs. ** has a personal vendetta against me and she is using her position at Nissan to harass me. My job does not want any more calls from NMAC because of this incident and has advised to me to seek legal action against NMAC and Mrs. ** personally. She has informed my employer that her calls are regarding an unpaid bill which is against the law. Mrs. ** is harassing me and I want it to stop immediately. I would like for my account to be assigned to a different department due to the fact that her and John ** and a few other individuals badger me on the phone and treat me as if I am not a person. I would like to file a complaint against Mrs. ** and her supervisors for allowing this to occur.

I never thought I would dislike Nissan, after having purchase two cars from them in the past. But the preown side have a car salesman (Jose **) that is very unprofessional, and arrogant. The issue did not just end with me buying a car and in less than a month had to bring it back two times but the service I receive from Jose have ruined my chances of giving them another try. And when asked his manager to call he never did. Humberto **. Be careful buying from there. The cars have issue, they charge. They may want to charge you for their inspection they did before selling car, ask for that money back because the cars are taken not to Nissan if it is not a Nissan car, some to Jiffy Lube for oil change etc. The cars are not checked out properly and the only good person that helped was ERiC, the sales manager Humberto ** will not follow through. Be very careful. Buy at your own risk and ask questions on the wear and tear, get the car facts beforehand. It is not always driven by one driver. They use cars on lot as loaner cars.

I have a 2012 Rogue which I got brand new from a Nissan dealership in Virginia. I now live in California. Have 80K miles on it. 4 years and 2 months later, one minor part, and TWO major parts had to be replaced: the Mass Air Flow Sensor, the Torque converter, and the air-conditioning compressor, the last two breaking down at the same time. NISSAN wouldnt refund the repairs because they say the job was not done by their certified NISSAN dealer mechanic, who, by the way, couldnt figure out the first time that all they needed replaced was the Mass Air Flow Sensor, and some other part, which their expert they flew in to California from somewhere had to figure out for them. Its out of the Lemon Law period, by the way. I will not recommend ANY Nissan to my worst enemy.

Id rather let my credit go to the toilet and file bankruptcy than to EVER dip business with Nissan again. They let dealerships lie and just say whatever simply to get you into a car, then they offer no resolution about fixing the lie. When you call customer service they treat you like a scolded kid, and offer no respect or empathy whatsoever. Its ridiculous and absurd that we are treated such a way when you spend so money on something that is so vital. The air circulation is a joke. It only reaches the front seats and the people in the back get no air flow whatsoever. This was an issue in the first vehicle, and I was promised the new vehicle was so much better and redesigned, but honestly this car is bigger so its worse. They did not have a manual transmission which I wanted but they tried to convince me that the automatic is again redesigned and so much more efficient and yet not only have I lost about 6mpg, the car is constantly revving over 4rpm even when Im barely on the gas. They will say anything just to get you in the car and all they care about is the initial sale. After that they could care less about you or your business.

About 2 months ago, when leaving work one morning, my dash lit up - ABS failed, slip, TCS and service engine. I shut the car off and restarted (it was 2AM, no one to call), same lights, but I had to drive home for about 18 miles. The brakes work. I called service the next morning and took the car in to be checked. The ABS module had failed. The dealer has been unable to get the ABS module to repair my car, the way this system was designed. The failed module was drawing power from the battery all the time so I had to disconnect and reconnect the battery every time to drive and park, to avoid having a dead battery (I work for a 5-star resort in transportation. Meaning, we provide service 24/7 to our members and guest). The solution was to disconnect the module from the battery. Now, not only do I not have ABS, no speedometer or cruise control, this is now a matter of safety and not just the convenience of having the vehicle I purchased. The dealer was unable to get the delivery info for replacement.

The car have put me down on more than three (3) times in the last month going to work. The Nissan service department is the worst. They over talk you. I was told that I should use BP gas only which I thought was outrageous. I have family members and friends with BMWs, Audios, etc. and they use different gas. Im not certain if they think I am stupid or what. I refuse to pay to have the car check or to pay for a gas filter that now the service department say I need. Ive been a LOYAL customer of Nissan for many many years purchasing over $100,000 worth of vehicles, over a period of time, but NO MORE. We purchased a 2011 Nissan Rogue from a dealership in MD, have taken the vehicle there for all services, except tires of course. Weve kept up the maintenance on the vehicle, as our record clearly shows and now that we have an issue, NISSAN Corporate bailed out on us.. YES, they sure did. I just want all Nissan owners and owners to be, know NISSAN should have a massive RECALL on their transmissions for the Rogue. When we started having an issue with the transmission, we of course took vehicle into dealership, which, they in turn, said transmission has been known to overheat, therefore, they installed an additional cooling device on the transmission. However, after having this installed, which was covered under the warranty, it worked for a little while, and guess what? You guessed it, it is now overheating again and of course out of warranty. Perfect timing Mmmmm?? My husband took vehicle back to the MD dealership, they tested and said the transmission is SHOT and may burn up at anytime. WOW, Big surprise, again. We were then directed to contact Nissan Corporate headquarters. We did, they set up a case, dealership submitted papers to Corporate and guess what? They told us to pound sand. Yep, what a wonderful Business Relations we have here! Ive been dealing with customers most of my adult life and to say the least, you would THINK that a major corporation like Nissan would at least work with their customers, but NO! We offered to pay half of repair cost, still NO! To say the least, Im truly disappointed by Nissans response I received today and would NOT recommend anyone buying one of their vehicles, which I have three of them at the moment, until the Rogue transmission cramps out completely. Sincerely, disappointed customer, but NO MORE! You will NEVER get my business, nor will I recommend NISSAN to anyone ever again.... Have a nice day!

After paying 88£ they told me it would need a new gearbox (value 6700) and just fob me off, saying warranty expired since March of this year. As a single mother with 3 children, I just cant afford it and the sales person whom was soon nice to me before I purchased the car now fobs me off and say there is nothing they can do. Everyone (9) spoke to says its a manufacturer fault and they should consider giving me at least a refurbished gearbox, etc. as for such a new car with low mileage. The gearbox shouldnt have stop working and an automatic transmission at that.

Last month (September) I was driving and my car would not accelerate. I took my car to Auto Zone so they could run a test on it to see what was wrong. The code they could not read. He told me to try getting my oil changed (I just got my oil changed July but I did it anyway). My car worked fine for a while. I got to a stoplight and again the car started not to accelerate again. So the next day I had it towed to my friends auto shop. He told me that my transmission had went out. The main issue is that I just had my transmission replaced by Nissan last July. I have a 2015 Nissan Versa.Nissan states they will not replace my transmission because Im out of the warranty. I think this is ridiculous. They can obviously see that there are issues with their transmissions because they have several other complaints about it. I am very upset because I have taken care of my car like I should but it still messed up on me and now I am without a car. I am currently appealing Nissan about not covering my transmission replacement. I should not have to go through this at all.

I have recently had a terrible experience with my 2009 Nissan Rouge CVT transmission and working with the Nissan customer service you should know about. This issue is not new to Nissan. In fact Nissan extended the warranty to 10 years 120,000 miles. However, they never notified customers about this issue until they start to having a problem. Our problem came at 123,000 miles. If you go to Nissans website http://www.nissanassist.com/ProgramDetails.php?menu=2they state that they will provide financial assistance for those customers who may be beyond the warranty period. Nissan just called to tell me that they will not provide any assistance. What a crock. I came to find out that many people who own a 2009 -2013 Rouge or Murano will have issues with their CVT transmission. For those who own Rouge or Murano made between 2009-2013 have your transmission checked out before the warranty expires.

I recently bought a Nissan Juke. My Cube had died at 260000 miles after it carried me through 7 of my 14 Caravan To Catch a killer tours for my daughter. It seemed I got a pretty good interest rate with Nissan finance. 3 days before the first payment was due March 13th I attempted to go online and was able to access the website. March 13th was my first payment since I bought the card January 28th but on March 12th it was telling me I was already past due one payment than that old 800 dollars. I still decided to try to play them and I knew was due. but when I tried to access the Bill Matrix every time I click on it it would not open. The next morning the 13th, I went on Nissan finances website and every time I click make a payment it kicked me off the website. Id sign back in, it kicked me out. Then I tried calling twice. First it said it couldnt find my account by my social security numbe. At first, it wouldnt take my account number then when it finally did, instead of giving payment options, it sent me to talk to somebody but people dont man phones on weekend and hung me up - ten-to-one it was sending me somewhere for being overdue which I wasnt. This was on the 12th and I didnt owe 2 payments. Finally last night I went on and got on the website and actually opened bill matrix. I needed an option putting it on the credit card and it listed discover as an option. I put in my account number and all the other information and click on choose payment, it only gave me the option of debit card or check... again possibly because it was saying I was past due which I wasnt.Today Monday, it is a day late. I have called 4 times and each time I was on hold for 33 minutes before I hung up. The last time I started at 515 Central Standard Time and was still on hold until 6 w. They closed their real life people at 7. Im right in the process of trying to push for a law here in Oklahoma and at times must use my credit to help support it through publications etc as well as travel on my CARAVAN tours to seek tips for daughters killer. And there is no email or direct way to get through.

I tried contacting the dealership in Colorado Springs, multiple times and to no avail, they did not return my calls. I am from Miami and cannot travel to Colorado just to get in touch with Nissan. I dont know what else to do. A representative was supposed to call me back and NEVER did. Its been over 2 weeks now. I expect a representative from Nissan to contact me immediately to resolve this matter. Otherwise, I will continue to leave reviews on every possible site until someone from corporate contacts me to resolve this. This is the MOST unprofessional experience from any company in the world. My Nissan Versa was recalled for faulty airbags. I have been trying to get the airbags replaced since the first notification. I was told repeatedly that the parts were not available. I called corporate after a year of that and was told the parts were available, they just had to order them. Service dept said no they were told the parts were restricted. After 5 years of this I made an appointment with their recall hotline. When I brought the car in for service I was told the airbag was not there and I should not have made the appointment thru the hotline but thru the service dept. I was also told that the passenger airbag was replaced already. IT WAS NOT. The help in the service dept are pleasant, but the overall service sucks!

My son purchased a 2014 Nissan Altima with 36,000 miles on it. He has owned it for 2 weeks. He was suppose to have Powertrain warranty that went with vehicle till 2019. The CarFax said it was leased to private owner in 2014 till 2016 then sent to auction in New Jersey. In which another dealer purchased it. Then my son purchased the headache. The car had blue smoke coming out of exhaust so we took it to Nissan to look at. The service department said it was sludge in engine and the vehicle had no maintenance done at all. But Nissan wanted a pic of oil pan and valves before they would decline to have it repaired. My son paid 200 for this to be done then Nissan decline repair because of neglect. The Nissan dealership knew when vehicle was brought back from lease that no maintenance was done so they passed it along to auction so someone else could deal with it. Now son has car with no warranty.

I am filling this out on my mothers behalf. I am sorry I do not have more information. I can get if I pressure her to give it up. But she has been victimized by this company and is giving up because she is mentally drained. Basically, what happened is that the car broke down while on a drive across country, out of state. The part (transmission) needed to fix the car took about a month to come in. We had to rent a car to complete the trip and get home on time. The $850.00 in rental fees are not going to be reimbursed by Nissan. This car already in its short life had a muffler break apart and disintegrate. Our trusted mechanic couldnt get a new muffler because Nissan hadnt made one yet. So, he had to fabricate one. He said that he never saw anything like this! The car is only a 2007!

Bought my 2013 Nissan Sentra Sr used with over 60k car in Dec 2015, long story short my car is suffering from transmission failure, the rpms will shoot up high and drop down low, my car will then start to stall and not want to go any fast than 10 mph!!! No matter how hard you hit the accelerator it will not speed up! I had to pull over before a car could have hit me and once I stopped it would not move at all, not in reverse not in drive nothing! I had to get a tow truck to tow my car back to my house and even then the driver told me that I’m better off buying a new car. I’m so upset, as to I owe 10k on it still and am looking at a 5k bill fixing it! I tried trading in the car to find out my cars value is only 3k!!! I contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs office and was told there was nothing that could be done about my transmission problem, they did let me know there was a recall about the seatbelts yet I can’t even use my seatbelt due to my car being a death trap! First of all, thank you for your time in reading my complaint. I am contacting you for help with my 2010 Nissan Sentra. I have been denied coverage on my car with my Nissan Extended Gold Preferred Plus Warranty, and I tried to appeal it through Nissan Consumer Affairs as well. I have exhausted all measures in getting my car repaired through Empire Nissan Lakewood. My Piston Rod went through the Block of my Engine on 6th Avenue. I had the oil changed on 1/17/2017, but that was not the cause to my Engine to blow. Shell Rapid Lube Oil keeps records of all service by Camera and has reviewed the complete service by tape on my car. They are willing to provide that information to legal counsel. My car was purchased on March of 2010. At that time, we purchased a Nissan Extended Gold Preferred Plus Warranty which is good until March 2017 of this year. My maintenance records for 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 were completed at Go Nissan Southwest which is now Larry Miller Nissan in Littleton, Colorado. 12/21/2014 I have records from Firestone that I had an oil change, new tires, and a battery purchase. Mileage on the car at that time was 27,089. 2/20/2015 I have records of all the service I had done at Empire Lakewood Nissan. I would like to point out at that time on page 3 it states I had a possible oil leak, and they resealed the oil pan under my Security Plus Warranty. On page 4 they stated I needed another oil change which is a requirement when repairing an oil pan, but failed to list they did the oil change and stated I declined it. They are stating it is an error they did not list it on my paperwork, and can’t tell me if the used my old oil since it was just changed 12/21/2014, or if they put in new oil. Clearly, a problem they will not address. Mileage on the car at that time was 27,949. Why would I decline an oil change? It should be procedure to change the oil be changes when you repair a leak in an oil pan. What oil did they use? How did they make this repair without completing an oil change? 1/17/2017 My record of oil change at Shell Rapid Lube. Mileage at that time 31,740. As you can see I have kept up with the maintenance on this car since purchase. I am self-employed, and work from and this is why the mileage is slow low on this car. Example: From 12/21/2014-2/20/2015 I put 860 miles on my car. From 2/20/2015-1/17/2017 I put 3,790 miles on my car. I have 2 tow bills which Nissan will not pay for, and I have been declined a rental car which both are included in my Extended Nissan Extended Plus Warranty. Since the purchase of my car in March of 2010 to date, and put an average of $4,535 miles on my car per year. Again, I have all records of maintenance, and oil changes for this car. I have filed complaints with the BBB of TN, BBB of Colorado, Nissan Consumer Affairs, and the Federal Trade Commission. My response from Nissan Extended Warranty Gold preferred is that they will not cover the rebuild of my Engine due to an after market oil change. Nissan is irresponsible, and dishonest. They do not back their cars, and sell warranties at the time of purchase that do not back their vehicles, and repairs. I have had a major mechanical problem with this car, and NISSAN SIMPLY PUT DOES NOT CARE.

Bought brand new 2015 Nissan Rouge. My tail light has been repaired 3 times due to condensation and currently not fix costing me gas, time, and unwanted mileage. Each time I have to take it to the Nissan Dealership, currently around 357 miles put on going back and forth. File complaint asking them buy back suv or replace SUV, and they said no and set up appointment number 4. If I wanted a problem SUV I would of bought a used one, since lemon law requires 4 attempts to fix it. I cant do anything but put up with the lies they have told me, therefore for all the stress, time, gas, money and mileage I give Nissan a negative 0. Will never buy another Nissan. My husband and I bought a Nissan Rogue in California a couple years ago. It started having what we thought was transmission issues at about 95,000 miles. We immediately took it to the shop to be evaluated. They said there was nothing wrong. I continued to drive it and kept having problems. We took it in several times and every time they said there was nothing wrong. A few months ago we moved to Tennessee and drove our Nissan. We were in the middle of nowhere and suddenly my car stopped shifting. It was stuck in a high gear. We were finally able to make it to Tennessee to a Nissan dealership in Cookeville. We had an appointment for 8am. I took the day of so we could drop it off and came back to pick it up later in the evening. When we got there they were not friendly and clueless as to what was going on and where our keys were. Finally they figured out that nobody even looked at our car. They didnt apologize, take ownership of their mistake or offer us a discount! I had to take the next day off again to be able to go back and pick it up when they were done. They finally called and informed us that the transmission needed to be replaced. The reason my husband and I are so upset with Nissan is because we were then informed that the transmission had a warranty until 120,000 miles and we were actively trying to get it fixed since about 95,000 miles because we could tell it was going out! We have contacted Nissan to inform them of our experience and they dont seem to really care about their customers. The Nissan of Cookeville website states that their commitment is to provide their customers with top notch customer service but that is not near what we received!

I bought a Nissan about 5 months ago. They were ready and willing to help me in a car. They went out and brought the Nissan to show me. About 3 or 4 months ago the car had places on the hood and trunk of the car. I took the car to the Nissan place in Greer S.C. They looked at it said rocks from the road did this. Well dont you think I would have felt and seen when the rocks would have hit my car? As big as the places are, they would not help me! But if I was going to buy a car they would have been all over me! I took it to a man that paints cars. They said take it to Nissan where I bought it that it was in the paint! They tried to say it was rocks that did it. The man that looked at it picked at it and made it worst.I told him I wish he would stop doing that he was making it worst! Thats when he said he couldnt help me! That paint guy could have charged me to paint the car, but he was honest to tell me that! Somebody told me I could make that man pay for the damage he done to my car picking at it the way he did! I love the way the car rides now but Im afraid it might fall apart any time. Wish I had never bought the car from Nissan. Im very very unhappy with those people and the car the way it looks! I cant afford to trade the car or I would, but not with them! When Speaking to Kaysha today, I could have sworn I speaking to a robot but human like. She kept repeating the same Nissan will not cover the repairs you need because your vehicle is out of warranty. In January of 2018, I replaced the turbocharger costing $5200 which included parts and labor. Nissan is really proud of their prices! At the time I was told it was determined that lack of maintenance was the problem. I was not aware that a Turbo Charger needed maintenance and furthermore, They have all the records of my oil changes since I bought the car in 2014 so that could not be the problem. Now, my timing belt broke, damaging the timing belt housing and causing other damage to more parts of the engine. I called Nissan Consumer Affairs to ask them to review the problem once again. They called me back today to let me know that they will not cover the repairs. Once again, I am left holding the bag. I still owe $12K on the car and the repairs will be upwards of $8K. I have been shysted once again. I will never buy another Nissan again. Two is all it takes for me to learn my lesson. I feel stupid for not recognizing their robotic crap before. I am disgusted with Nissan and they will never see me set foot in one of their dealerships again and oh by the way, now with social media running rampant, they should listen more carefully to the squeaky wheel! I wish nothing but the worst for this company!!! They lie and steal from their loyal customers!! And on top of everything, they still have the gall to ask for a rating! Unbelievable! Well, I RATE YOU (ZERO stars!!!). They make you rate at least one star but know this you idiots at Nissan Consumer Affairs, You dont deserve that Star! You are a ZERO star company!!!

Planning to travel to Illinois, planning to buy a new Pathfinder in Chicago then drive the Pathfinder to New York State then drive back to my home in Utah. I looked online, found the vehicle and price, called the Chicago dealer to buy. SHOCK SHOCK SHOCK. They told me the online sales price is not for Utah residents, and I have to pay the sale price for Utah residents (we are not talking about taxes and registration), we are talking about the cost of the car. He said; Nissan assigns individual prices to each State, each State has its own price for the SAME vehicle. Same vehicle, different costs for each State.Inquiring, Is it the costs associated in shipping?, he said no. Is the individual charges from that State?, no. What is it? He said, It is the Nissan Marketing. He then said Utah residents pay $2800 more for the same vehicle so he would charge (overcharge) me $2800 more. I called 2 other dealers in Illinois to verify that Nissan charges Utah residents a higher cost for the same vehicle. I am now looking at other brands of vehicles, saddened by Nissan marketing. After several new Nissan vehicles over the past 20 years, I am leaving Nissan, due to Nissan Marketing. Utah Nissan dealers lost (future sales), so did the Illinois dealers (today). Online buying of vehicles opened my eyes. [To Nissans credit, he said it protects dealers in the State you reside in and takes that competition out between States]. Bye Bye Nissan. That is called price fixing.

I found out it was my transmission (CVT) but Nissan refused to replace it since I was 1,700 miles outside of the warranty. There was no indication there was even an issue or that I should take my car in; which would have saved me thousands of dollars, prevented being without a car for over a week, and putting me and my family in grave danger. In 2011, I purchased a 2011 Versa. After driving it for a few months, the new model came out with a different body style. I traded my 2011 model for a 2012. I purchased an extended maintenance warranty on the 2011, received a refund for it and purchased another maintenance warranty for the 2012 Versa. After a few months in February 2012, I totaled the 2012 Versa and requested to have the remainder of the maintenance warranty returned to me. I went to dealership and completed all of the required paperwork and turned it in to my salesman (the guy in the finance office was busy). I was told that the money would be mailed to my house within 4-6 weeks. After 2 months (in May 2012), I called dealership to let them know that I had not received my refund and was told they would look into it. Every month from then until now, I have called the dealership and still nothing has happened. I am being given the runaround by the finance manager and the accounting manager. I will never purchase another Nissan in my life.

Nissan have been accused of disgraceful customer service after leaving the owner of a brand new Nissan stranded for three days 200 miles from his home town in the UK. Anthony ** car broke down with transmission failure only one week after purchasing the 50 thousand dollar top of the range Rogue from a Nissan dealership in the UK. ** and his friend were on route from Redcar to Skegness for a golfing holiday and were almost there when they suddenly lost drive from Nissans brand new CVT automatic gearbox on the Nissan Rogue which is called Qashqai in the UK. Mr **, who has previously bought two other brand new Nissans said, I should never have taken this car out of the showroom in the first place. When I went to pick it up, they made me pay for the vehicle before going out to look at it. I was filling in a questionnaire about the excellent condition of the car and the service they were providing when my son said; you had better come and have a look at the car before you answer that question because it has some scratches on it. I examined the car and it was in a right state. I had to ask the garage to wash the car again as it wasnt clean. We found a scratch on one door; scuff marks on the back bumper and two pieces of trim inside the car not fitted properly. I told the salesman I was thinking about walking away from the car but he promised me everything would be sorted. During the following week, Bristol Street Motors failed on two occasions to repair the trim properly. ** went on to explain how he became stranded; I have roadside assistance from Nissan. They are under contract to give you a car to help you on your way in these situations. I arranged for my vehicle to be recovered to a Nissan dealership. The dealership told me they didnt have a courtesy car to give me. They asked me if I could leave the car with them but I couldnt without getting a courtesy car, as mine was full of golfing equipment and luggage. In the end I had to ask the driver of the tow truck if he would take the car and me to the hotel in Skegness where we were stranded for three days. We couldnt go anywhere, as the car couldnt be driven. We were just stuck at the hotel waiting for Nissan to sort out this mess. When they did offer me a car three days later from a Nissan dealership in Boston (Lincolnshire), they said would a Micra do and how was I fixed for getting to Boston myself (25 miles away) to pick it up!!! I eventually persuaded them to give me a Qashqai (Rogue). When it turned up it looked as though it had been off roading. It was filthy and to top it off, was almost empty of fuel. Car of the year 2014? Exceptional service from 3 Nissan dealers and Nissan Customer Care? You decide for yourself! **, who rejected the vehicle, was initially refused neither his money back, nor a replacement vehicle. After 3 months of difficult and protracted negotiation, Nissan finally agreed to refund the money he paid for the vehicle but has lost out due to insurance and other costs.

Usually I service on time at toronto dealer where I bought the car at same location. @ 32200+ KM got the engine oil replaces at sainte foy, QC (I was away with family) as advised by my dealer and 2 recalls performed. @33000+ KM came back to dealer (after my tour), asked about brake fluid flush, which is recommended by Nissan but its not done by dealer (dont know why). I gave my consent to replace if required. And for wheel rotation (which is also recommended by Nissan.)When I picked up my car, I feel there is gas pedal delay in the initial acceleration (between 800 and 1800 RPM). On minutely trying to identify, why there is an uneasiness for me to drive, the usual resistance in the gas pedal that is altered, and the pressure I usually put on the pedal has changed, and which started to get annoying. Usually I use 87 octane fuel. This time I filled 91 octane fuel, still the acceleration is identifiable. Usually I drive in ECO mode, which is sluggish. Normal is better and Sports mode is usually quite peppy. After trying all the combination, I realized this the feedback/resistance, may have been altered. Dont know how and why (forgot to mention I had also asked for bronze cleaning on the car). Dealer has failed to understand the point and they keep on telling me about sensors and error codes. What I realized after studying the matter that the sensor and codes will work nice, when the pedal recognizes the press.Concern of mine is the pressure is gas pedal stars identifying the press after a small delay (maybe we are talking about 5~7 millimeters). Why I am concerned: I have to press more gas pedal now to get to my normal driving habit for years/decades; I am quite concerned now if this pedal will have more issues to offer; Since the pedal feedback/resistance spring may have altered, it may happen, that say when in highway, it will get stuck to a position and send incorrectly send sensors of pedal being pressed even after removing feel from pedal. Now I feel little unsafe in this car. More details can be shared on request.

Well here goes. Nissan car/van owners beware. Their customer service and warranty is horrendous. And without a doubt they have an issue with the engines, same recall as Toyota but instead of calling it a recall they are simply finding an excuse to revoke your warranty and make you pay for the new engine. We’ve owned nothing but Nissans since 1996. Our 2 year old passenger van with 56k Miles started burning oil. No engine warning light came on, no low oil warning light, nothing. We brought it to the dealership three times for oil level tests, then they took the van last Monday to do more tests. They don’t pay for a rental, don’t give you a comparable rental so I’m in a 5 passenger car. They then tell us it needs a $12,000 new engine and warranty was revoked because we are missing one receipt. I’ve spoken to at least 9 people at Nissan Corporate. No one can do anything because Nissan Warranty is not “customer facing.” Their decision is final. So, our van will get its new engine. We’ll suck up the cost then trade it in for something new. NOT NISSAN.

I bought a 2014 Nissan versa note from dealership on June 9th 2014. I signed the contract and took it home that day. A week later I took in my down payment and signed another contract to reflect that. A week later I get a letter from dealership saying my loan was not approved and I needed to return the car within 48 hours. I called the finance office and was told they were working on it and would call me the next day. The next day I received a phone call saying they got my loan approved and I would have to come in and sign a new contract...which I did on June 30th. From June 30th to august 28th I was waiting for title, plates, payment info etc. from the bank. I never got those things. Instead, the dealership came out in the wee hours of the morning and took the car. Apparently because my loan was not approved. I have contacted legal counsel and will fight this.

I bought my 2000 Nissan Maxima new and just after the three-year mark and at about 27,000 miles I got an SES light. I took it to the dealer and they told me all 6 ignition coils needed to be replaced. I was in shock. How can all 6 be bad on a car with only 27,000 miles. I asked if there was a recall or if the parts were defective. All they said was to call Corporate Nissan! When I did I got blown off. They said since my car was past the warranty period they were not responsible for anything. I was out of luck. I said maybe they could make an exception because this was not something that normally happens. They would not budge. I was stuck and what made me really angry was that these parts had to be ordered through the dealer and they were on back order. I tried AutoZone and online but no luck. The parts took about 5 weeks to come in since there was a shortage of these parts. This was very common for this year and model car. I had to rent a car for this period and ended up spending a total of $1600 including the rental car. This was a nightmare I will never forget. A very good example of very poor customer service. Leave your customer stuck and say we cant do anything for because we do not have to. Excellent way to make your customer say I will never buy another Nissan product again. I actually had to call the customer rep because she did not return my call. I left her a message saying thanks for nothing and calling me back like you said you would. It was not her fault but she could have returned my car with courtesy and respect even though there was nothing Nissan would do for me. I really felt that there should have been a recall but they took the cheap way out. Better to lose a few customers than to shell out bucks to help customers with a manufacturer defect. The sad part is that after all that I went through, I still have this car today. It has 172,600 miles and is still running good. Still will not buy another Nissan because of this bad experience. I had to replace 3 O2 sensors, MAF sensor, radiator, alternator, starter, thermostat, front axle, dimmer switch, front struts.

I have called your finance department Nissan Canada Finance on multiple occasions including today regarding an outstanding payment on my third lease with Nissan (2011 Maxima.) Payment overlooked due to family health issues. The outstanding balance was paid for earlier this year (2016) through your collection agency and payment confirmed by Nissan Finance. I am still getting letters and calls from Credit Risk Management Canada Ltd. asking for payment. I was told by your finance department to resolve it myself with CRM. (How rude and arrogant.) I have been wasting my valuable time dealing with various people regarding this issue. I find it very disturbing that your finance department would not contact the credit agency to confirm the payment. If the calls and letters continue from Credit Risk Management, I will be contacting my lawyer, as I feel this is a form of harassment. I am now on my fourth lease with Nissan and do not expect to renew or purchase with Nissan or Infinity in the future. Your finance department staff are uncaring, rude and condescending and have left me very dissatisfied and angry. UPDATE - Its now Feb 2017 and not one follow-up call or apologies. PS: I miss one payment after 14 years with Nissan and I am considered a criminal. They need to send their hounds after. Nissan - The Donald Trump of Car Companies.

Purchased a used Nissan GTR from Atlanta, classic cars within two months the radio and transmission failed. Took the car to Nissan to see if they could repair the transmission they said no but went on to say they would replace it at a cost of $18000. Said it wasnt covered under warranty. Had to have the car trucked across town to have it fixed since Nissan didnt know how to repair it. The car was driven into the Nissan repair shop but when they took the transmission oil pan off the car to check it the car was no longer able to be driven and I had to have it trucked to my home and then to the repair shop across town for the repair. The shop across town had the transmission repaired in under a week. The car drove better than when I first purchased it. Cost me over 5000 dollars for the repair for which Nissan didnt pay a dime. Nissan also charged me $1034.00 to check the transmission that they could not repair which rendered the car undrivable. Lesson learned - dont ever buy a Nissan. Never again in my lifetime. Big rip off. Nissan left parts out of the tranny that they knew would cause it to fail and then didnt want to foot the bill to repair it. Nissan sucks.

I found the recall and the campaign on the highway safety commissions website for the 2005 Nissan Armada fuel sending units. On 11/7/2014 my husband was driving my 2005 Nissan Armada at 3 AM on the busy 5 Lane Highway in Washington state at 65 mph. My SUV came to a abrupt stop in the middle of the highway. It would not turn over to start. The hazard lights would not come on. The state police put out 15 road flares and still they were both almost hit by three trucks and two cars. My Armada showed I had a quarter of a tank of gas. I had to have my sub towed to Campbell Nelson Nissan dealership in Edmonds Washington. Robert, the service manager called and advised me that the fuel sending unit was bad. It shows I have a quarter of a tank but I was really out of gas. John, the manager told me thats what he suspected was wrong with my SUV. John also advised me that there was a warranty on the fuel sending unit but it was only for 72,000 miles but at the least I feel that I should not get stuck with the bill because I bought the car used and had no clue that they had this issue or that it would almost cause the life of my husband or an innocent state trooper. I feel Nissan should open the recall and extend the warranty for the 2005 Nissan Armada fuel sending units. I know only certain 2005 models were in the campaign and recalled but this is what was wrong with my Armada the same thing Nissan campaign for. I want Nissan to cover the bill. Its an unsafe issue and if you guys do not reopen this recall Nissan is going to get somebody killed. If I have to take it to my Lawyer then so be it.

Second clutch was looked at in a dealership service at 63,000 miles. Was told clutch looked perfect, drove perfect. Had a smell coming from the clutch. 3,000 miles later driving at 60 mph in 5th gear, the clutch blew up. Sounded like an explosion followed by sounds of metal fragments rolling around inside. Nissan required a dealership to look at it. Their conclusion is the driver error caused the clutch failure.Ive never had to replace a clutch before 90/100k. Ive heard from other with the Xterra and Frontiers of this exact same problem happening. Now Im hearing if the transmissions going out at 76,000 miles. They are wanting $2700 to replace a clutch that is sure to fail again. Something is causing these clutches and transmissions to fail. So many mechanics and friends are telling me to get rid of the car ASAP. Lesson learned do not buy Nissan. Nissan does not stand behind their product.

Consider this. I have a 2011 Rogue and found out the CVT needs replacing. Since Nissan has created a monopoly around their CVT you cannot find parts to rebuild as you cannot buy them. The only way is to replace the entire CVT which you must purchase from Nissan. Ever wonder how they extended the warranty for 2008-2010 only but did the extension in 2014? They knew that the 2011, 2012, 2013 would all have the same problems. Maybe not enough complaints at that time for those years. So I checked the warranty on the brand new replacement CVT direct from Nissan and installed by Nissan... 12 months/20000kms. Although the exact same CVT on a brand new 2017 comes with 5years/60000km warranty. Read between the lines... Nissan cannot even back their own monopoly on CVT with a decent warranty. What a crock of **. Bye bye Nissan FOREVER. The GM of the dealership wont even return my call, probably because he has no excuses for the crap product the CVT is. Someone start a class action and take Nissan and their CRAP CVT down.

My family and I were debating about purchasing a new 2016 Nissan Rouge thinking it was a safe and a reliable family car but encountering these extremely dangerous mechanical issues I faced with my family in the car going 65 mph on the interstate had me thinking otherwise. The transmission fails when needing to accelerate then cuts back on after we just nearly missed getting into an accident with an 18 wheeler. This car is unsafe and was recalled by Nissan to get this issue fixed so I mean, they should be aware of this problem with these cars now that we are out of the extended warranty. Ms Amber ** the manager and Joe the specialist both specified (that they are not in the position to do anything) for our family that they are sorry, OK, thank you. Just like that she ended the conversation. So now that you know they will not back up their product and at least help the cost of repair or completely exchanging it for the type 2 transmission for the car, please dont buy a Nissan. Read all defects and reviews, know how many people they have turned away because of this problem. Please choose a safer car for your family to drive in. Thank you for your time.

$5 fee to pay online? $10 over the phone? Now, I have a $25 late fee + a $5 fee to pay it online. Way to go, Nissan. Chalk that one up as a $30 win. I bought a used Nissan Rogue in May 2015. I had it for 2 months when, leaving my subdivision, it began to roll backward for no reason, and I had no control over it. It nearly went into a watery ditch. I tried to dismiss it when I was able to get it started again, but I was very concerned. It had just barely not missed that ditch! Then, last night I was returning from Charleston, SC and in Columbia, SC and as there was work being done on I-26, a major highway, cars were being led in every lane VERY SLOWLY by highway patrolmen, one per lane. This meant that all cars were continuously putting on brakes every few seconds. After a few attempts to put on my brakes, I began to feel that the brakes were no longer under my control, as they werent holding properly. The car then began to go backwards again, this in the middle of hundreds of cars and 18-wheeler trucks crawling at a snails pace. I was terrified as I could not control the car, and I still dont know how I avoided hitting those behind me. I suppose they were just fortunate somehow to get around me. I put my foot on the brake, but that did nothing. I then pushed the emergency brake down and had to hold down that as well. I was in the center lane in all that traffic. I had lost my cell phone, so I didnt have that. I was beginning to get hysterical. I opened the drivers door (the window wouldnt roll down at that point), flailing my hands and blowing the horn. Id already put on the emergency lights. No one helped until about 15 minutes of this, with people screaming at me. Finally a young man (God bless him!) stopped in front of me and told me he would get a highway patrolman to help. The patrolman soon arrived and told me I had to get the car removed from all the bottled traffic I was in! He then told me to put the car in neutral and then turn on the switch. In tears I told him I was afraid to take my feet off the two brakes. However, I did as he said, and the car then started forward. He told me he would hold back the mass of cars so that I could get into the slow lane. He said I would have to get back to Greenville, about 90 miles away, the best way I could. This caused me to get off onto a road in downtown Columbia, with which I wasnt at all familiar. After driving around, I stopped at a McDonalds where a worker told me how to get back on I-26. I had to drive slowly and carefully back home. This happened last night, January 13, 2016. I had previously made an appointment for January 21 to have Greer Nissan check out the car after the previous problem in my subdivision as someone there told me it may be the drive train. I had to get it to a dealership before 60, 000 miles as my extended warranty declared. When I got back home, this morning I called AAA to tow the car to the dealership as I was just 20 miles short of 60,000 miles. Well, the dealership has had it today and can find nothing wrong with it. Theyve driven it several times, and checked it out but have come up with nothing. (REALLY?) I told them SOMETHING is terribly wrong, so they agreed to keep it until tomorrow. After reading all the previous complaints about Nissan automobiles, I know I have a lemon, and I now call it the Death Car. I am afraid to drive it. I am a widow on a very limited income, so theres no extra money to put into that car. God, please help me!

First, to make a payment over the phone for a Nissan account, the consumer is charged a $12.00 service fee. That is outrageous! Second, BillMatrixs automated system is a headache to deal with. Compound that with having to talk to customer service reps in India just compounds the frustration of going through their customer service communication channels. All this adds up to make it a real headache to try and communicate with Nissan. Just the thought of having to pay $12.00 in order to pay your bill seems like a racket.

Since November I have been to the dealership 8 times. The last time, they kept my car for almost a month. My vehicle is still bucking and sliding all over the road. I have a 2012 rogue. My folder is 2 inches thick listing the repairs they supposedly did on my vehicle including a new transmission. I do not feel safe. I dont know what to do. I picked it up Friday, January 2 after dropping it off to them on December 2nd and today it started doing it again on my way to work. Someone please help me. I am a single mother and dont want to hit ice or snow when my car does this because I lose all control of my vehicle and would be involved in an accident. Someone please point me in the right direction or the right Nissan garage. It has primarily been at Lia Nissan of Saratoga and was once looked at Destination Nissan. Thank you.

Nissan is one of the best vehicles I have ever owned and just recently bought another one like it because I loved the first one so much. It is a Nissan king cab with lots of room. I got it for a fairly decent price and I was lucky to find it. It was just sitting on the lot and it took some haggling to get the dealer to come down where I could afford it. It has everything I need. It could use more technology but that would be distracting. It is a great little truck and will be for a while.

Nissan vehicles have extensive issues that require multiple services and repairs. I have spent over $6,000 in service and repairs from the last 12 months alone and Nissan keeps giving an excuses as to why this and that is not covered. Nissan Consumer Affairs said I should have an unlimited service repair but may or may not cover anymore engine issues. Im still within the ten year/100,000 miles engine warranty and yet providing more excuses to cover cost. Im trying to get Nissan to actually repair something in the engine that prevents the vehicle from being driven, but they are getting behind to complete any repairs with a thousand dollars or more. All of this has been a battle to get anything covered or paid for. All I want is for Nissan to actually cover their faulting vehicle.

I purchase the car new in 2012. Windshield cracked for no apparent reason: was told that it was due to the cold weather of winter. Out of pocket several hundred dollars since dealer and Nissan Canada refused to cover under warranty. Remote starter intermittent: sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt: Nissan says that cold weather can prevent it from working...geees! I live in Canada! What a useful gadget to work when it is cold outside. Surface rust on trunk: according to body shop, this is a common problem with Nissan. They covered it. Surface rust inside door: mileage at 59800 km but was 24 days after warranty: no warranty. Nissan called me recently to purchase new car: I told to forget me and put on their do not call list. I am going to sell the car this year (maybe trade-in) for a car manufacturer that has a better reputation.

I bought a 2008 Nissan Rogue brand new on Christmas Eve of 2007. The transmission went out on the car in July of 2010, at 100,000. I was almost hit and killed by an 18-wheeler. Nissan claims the transmission fell apart and after several months, said they would replace it at no cost. In February of 2012, my Rogue began to show the same signs of failure that the first one did and I took it to the dealership once again to have it inspected. Approximately 8 days later, the service department informed me that the transmission would in fact need to be replaced again with only 66,000 miles on it. I phoned Consumer Affairs and they have been no help! I have written Mr. Carlos Ghosn a certified letter and he has been no help! Why won’t Nissan just admit my car is defective and make an attempt to remedy the situation?

2014 Versa Note SV bought New, found rust on the 3rd day of purchase in 12+ areas underneath including sub-frame and various components. Complained and requested replacement with a rust free car. Nissan wont replace or refund despite extensive correspondence, emails, phone calls, visits to the dealer, furnishing date stamped pictures of rust areas. Nissan is dragging its feet with feeble excuses - No excessive rust found, Rust is not affecting safety of the car, Rust not affecting performance of the car - which is why they will not replace it. Upon telling them that due to rust, the resale value of car is severely diminished to junk car value, they have nothing to say. Filed complaints with authorities including the Attorney General but they are slow to process so nothing has come of it so far and Nissan wont stand behind its products. BBB Autoline has sided with Nissan and they just pissed on the Lemon Law doing that - despite providing scores of date stamped photographs of the rust areas. Nissan is not giving me a charity car, nor it is a used car that they have sold me. I have paid full price with high interest for 6 years that I am going to be paying and I deserve a rust free car without defects but Nissan does not seem to agree to that. People, please think a thousand times before buying a Nissan. A company that is trying to get away using every lame excuse. I am afraid that Nissan may have sold a large number of cars to buyers with rust simply because the American buyer trusts manufacturers for their quality and integrity - but not in case of Nissan. If any law students/retired lawyers/lawyers are willing to help - for an affordable fee - as I can not afford a lot at this time - please help me and may God bless you for your kindness.

I purchased brand new Versa Note in August 2014, from the beginning the car
I purchased brand new Versa Note in August 2014, from the beginning the car was acting strangely - turning signal didnt work properly, the car was wavering on the road, made all weird cracking sounds and after every long ride, burning smell was coming out from left and rights tires. I brought it to Nissan services, but they couldnt determine the problem. I dont know anything about the cars, but can tell that eventually part of the axle was changed. Two weeks later I was driving back to Nissan with emergency lights on. Car was shaking so badly that I couldnt keep it in one lane. Once they took it on a test drive the wheel fell off!!! And they had to evacuate my car!! No one knows what was the problem, but they decided to replace the whole axle. Thanks God I didnt take a freeway that morning when I was bringing my car to a dealership! I am not satisfied!! I am pissed!! I am upset!! I purchased a new car, because I believed it would give me a sense of safety and security. But actually I got a lemon instead!! Mine and my kids life was put in danger! The car has a bit more than 5.000 miles on it, I am so caring with it, but it is bad. I am afraid to drive it now, even when it is being fixed, one week ago the wheel came off (which I doubt happens on a regular bases), how can I know that one week from now the roof will not be blown away or the car will not explode, or something else!!And another thing - when I cancelled some of my Christmas plans and was ready to go to pick up my car, Nissan representative called me and left a voice mail, saying: Oh, the car is not ready yet, I forgot to tell you that while we were fixing the axle we scratched the bumper... It sounded like they forgot to fill up the tank! I dont know if they are the one who responsible for the wheel falling off (because 2 weeks before it happened they were replacing the bolt) or Nissan just makes lemons, but I want this crap to be resolved! I have never heard or been in such a ridiculous and at the same time stupid and banal situation! I am going to talk to a lawyer. I want you to replace my car, return my money or other options. But I dont want to have any business with your company anymore. It is a big name, but a thin quality level.

There is no doubt in my mind that Nissans consumer affairs department has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. The lack of concern regarding the safety issues that I am having with my 2013 Nissan Altima (i.e., blind spot warning system, voice activation to use phone, updates and use of navigation system) and the disrespectful and belligerent way that I have felt that Nissans consumer affairs department has acted toward me will cause me to never want to purchase another Nissan.I upgraded from a 2001 Maxima to a new 2013 Altima for its safety features. Many of those safety features have not worked properly since the day I took delivery of the car. I have told my local dealership about issues that I am having when I have brought the car to them for regular oil changes. It appears that they have failed to document my issues. I am waiting for the dealership where I purchased the car/have it regularly serviced, to do something about my issues. Hopefully, the dealership can restore my trust in Nissan and resolve the safety issues with my car.I write this review so hopefully Nissan consumer affairs department learns from my experience. I also want to advise others to be certain to tell your Nissan service department about EVERY issue you are having with your car no matter how insignificant it may seem. Plus, be certain that the service department has documented every issue and that YOU SEE IT IN WRITING. I conclude by saying, I am not certain that Nissans consumer affairs department is there to help you as a consumer.

My lease was over and I turned in the vehicle, but Nissan and the dealers could not get together or work or cooperate on anything. Do I need an inspection? No, said Nissan because the dealership offered to buy the used car. According to the dealers, I do and they do it. Cool. They can inspect the vehicle when I turn it in. But then they dont, after all. NMAC and the dealership really jerk you around.During the lease, NMAC could not take my Visa for online payment, so I always had to send the check. After passing the inspection and escaping any costs, I was told Just turn in the vehicle, you have paid everything you owe. Three weeks later I was charged by NMAC almost $500 for a disposition fee! I have been a Nissan customer since 2001. I am pissed. I was considering leasing another Nissan in a few months. Screw that. Today, I do not want another Nissan vehicle ever. Merry Christmas, sucker, you owe us $500. What a way to screw your customers.

The upper management of Nissan must be a bunch of Bone heads or knuckle heads - your choice but - its one of these two for sure. I have called their CS number multiply times at different times of the day and week to talk to a live person and stay on the phone for up to 2 hrs and no one has ever answer the call. I know I am the bone head for waiting this time endurance but I wanted to find out if anyone would answer. They have made changes to their website over the last two years and it has got worst as whoever they hired to do this changes. It does not work. I should have been discussing the problems to a red brick wall and would have gotten more response from the bone heads at Nissan.

Horrible service and no accurate response to sudden failing brakes and light coming on. My car has been in government storage for over four years. My front driver and passenger side window rolls down but not up, the brake light comes on, and a grinding metal to metal sound is made, and sounds and feels like a spring is loose with no breaking control. Almost ran into a car the other day. I am in the military, this would not be good and this does not appear right. Next time it happens, will be taking it on base to see what the issue is. What I noticed is if you put the car in park, turn it off and restart it, it resets itself as if nothing ever happened. So, my plan is the next time it happens, to not reset it, record it, and drive all the way to the base to have them look at it, this could possibly if not, be a legal issue since the dealerships seem to think there is no issue and dont see a problem. Standby...for my next comments.

Sucks and will never buy another Nissan for the rest of my living life. Bad experience from customer service to corporate office. This all started when I took my Nissan to my local Nissan dealer and nothing is ever cover under warranty meanwhile I have warranty for the next 10 years or 100 mile bumper to bumper that I bought through Nissan themselves. My car is 2 years old with 25,000 miles and my headlights are starting to peel which means The car is very hard to drive at night time. Sometimes I feel that I might get into a car accident and Nissan did nothing for me. They just say, “Sorry you’re screwed. If you want new headlights you have to pay out-of-pocket.” Always trying to make the customer pay. My question is what kind of products are theyre making that does not even last two years? That’s the problem. My case number is **. P.S. Denis Le Vot sir with all respect your company needs to make better products and treat better the customers because you just lost one of them. Maybe it’s not gonna hurt anything but is not going to hurt me anymore. Thanks.

I have a case # **. I have bought a lot of cars in the past, Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi. I bought a Nissan Sentra because of their reputation. I am very dissatisfied. I do not believe I would be buying another Nissan in the future. I have taken the car back 6 times for the same problem, cracking noise in dashboard. They said they fix it and a week later, it starts again. This time, I am very upset, I took the car to Lake Nissan in Leesburg, FL. I am staying in Orlando for a while. They told me they replaced a broken clip. When I picked up the car, they put some kind of foam around front of dashboard. The foam is sticking out. It does not look very nice. They DID not put paper on floor to work on the car. This is the 6th time I take it to a dealer. I bought a new car not to have issues and this is awful. When I went to the dealership at Lake Nissan in Leesburg, they were trying to get me a new car and get rid of my car, but of course I would lose a lot of money. I was willing to do that if I would just lose $1,000.00 but not $4,000.00. They were very persistent to me leasing a car. I had two employees come and talk to me about it. I feel that they were upset, because like I mention before, they really DID not do a good job on the car. I contacted the state consumer affairs. I do not know what else to do. I am so dissatisfied with Nissan. Like I mentioned before, I would not buy another car from Nissan again.

I recently filed a claim for my 2008 Nissan Rogue. On 1/6/14, my driver side door would not open from the outside. On 1/8/14, my passenger door would not open from the outside. On 1/17/14, my driver door now does not open from the inside. I was contacted by the Regional office after my initial complaint and was completely offended by the implication that I was reaching out for financial assistance as if I was not financially capable of paying for the repairs to my doors. My complaint is not for financial assistance but for Nissan to take responsibility for using cheap and unreliable door actuators on the 2008 Nissan Rogue. The parts used are not capable of withstanding cold temperatures and stop working as a result of the weather. That is not my fault nor should it be my responsibility. Nissan needs to own up for this mistake and pay for the repairs on my vehicle. This has been a huge inconvenience to climb over the middle console from the passenger side just to drive my car. I am totally dissatisfied and at this point I would never purchase or recommend another Nissan vehicle as long as I live. This is not a request for financial assistance. Nissan is totally aware of this ongoing issue and needs to own up to it and provide more reliable parts for its cars. I wasted $128 at Lynnes Nissan to confirm that my doors would not open. They told me the repairs would cost $800-$1000 which is ridiculous for a part that only costs $26. I am not a happy customer and demand answers now.

A nice bug, the Micra K12, 2006, 65ps Petrol 1.2 Engine. I have bought this car from Nissan in Germany, at 71.000km, and I drove it for 9.000km. 65ps, manual gearbox, 1,2L petrol engine. 2 doors, in bamboo green. Lovely little bug. I bought it as an emergency need for a cheap car, and I am quite happy with the purchase. So happy in fact, that I decided already to change it with the newer model, 2017, 1.2L 80ps. But back to the K12 bug. Drove it mostly in Berlin, Germany, and occasionally on the Highway, maximum 130km/h due to the noise and fuel consumption, but drove it briefly up to 160km/h... (slightly downhill probably:). Pretty loud on the highway, but perfect for the city traffic. Agile between the city streets and easy to park. A bit of a stiff ride at low speeds, but quite comfortable where the road permits speeds over 50-60Km/h. Feels stable and has some power reserves until 110-120Km/h, at high RPM regime, between 3500 – 5000rpm. It responds well to the throttle paddle. The engine pulls lovely between 3rd and 4th gear, 60 to 90Km/h, it feels quite sporty. The 1st and 2nd gear are a bit slow. Never had any beef with, but yet again, for just 9k it should not be the case anyway. The gear box felt sometimes a bit too long, but it did the job. I would have kept it, but I just wanted the newer model. Overall a good experience. Hope the new model will follow the trend.

I have been a customer with Nissan Finance since May 2015. I never had an issue with them. I decided to trade my 2015 for a 2018 this past April. I paid $2500 down (which I did have to do in 2015) and my payments went up. However back in July, I ran into some financial difficulties and communicated that with them in able to get a payment extension which they declined. I made payments which weren’t the full amount and kept communicating with them for an extension.I owed them about 2 months and made a payment on 9/1/2018. They reposted my car on 10/12/2018 and are not allowing me to pay the past due. They want me to pay the full balance of the loan which is unheard off. If I’ve been requesting an extension for 2 months, how would I be able to pay off the entire loan in one day on a 72 months loan. They are not in the business of keeping customers in their vehicle. I will be filing a lawsuit against them and American Repossession. I reside in a gated community with Security at a guard gate. I leased a 2013 Nissan Leaf two years ago from Peoria Nissan in Arizona. At the time, the salesman told me not to worry about the battery because Nissan just replaces them if there is any problem. That is totally a lie, and Peoria Nissan will not be of any assistance to me with my Nissan Leaf that has a range now of 59 miles (maybe) in the winter with no heater on. Dont ask about how it fares in the summer - it is ugly to say the least. I now have one more year to suffer through this vehicle because Nissan says the battery charges up to 10 bars and must decline to 8 bars.We know that this does not take into account battery fade - in other words - yes, it looks good when it is first charged, but like all failing batteries, the range quickly decreases as soon as you pull out of your driveway. My lesson in all of this is that Peoria Nissan lies to its customers - yes I know I should not be surprised, and that the manufacturer is choosing to make folks keep a car that simply does not meet the needs stated by the buyer when purchasing the car. I expected somewhere in the range of 70 miles which would allow me to drive back and forth to my work site daily and make a couple side trips as well. This was all explained to the salesman when I leased the car. He is no longer with the dealership. So, I asked if the dealer would work with me on terminating my lease and getting a 2016 Leaf that supposedly had a better battery. Unlike the salesmans reassurances that it was no big deal to end the lease after 24 months, the dealer asked for the entire amount of the last 12 payments and the car. The explanation was that Nissan had changed its lease terms and that the residual value stated in my contract was no longer really valid. The upshot was that for over 900 dollars per month, I could get out of my current lease, turn in my car and get a comparable 2016 Nissan Leaf. Ha Ha Ha. I am laughing only because I am happy to share this saga with anyone who might be foolish enough to trust Nissan and buy or lease one of their vehicles. My advice - just because their contracts are preprinted - insist on adding terms that the salesman tells you in writing and have them initial them. You will then perhaps find out what the real deal is. Thanks for listening.
