I initially took in my 2008 Nissan 350Z roadster convertible to Tony Nissan to have them repair the convertible roof because it is not fully closing into its compartment. They looked at it and eight hours later, said that they couldnt find anything wrong with it. They even showed me that it was working before leaving.Later that day, I wanted to test it out for myself. And much to my dismay, the same problem occurred. Being busy with work, etc., I wasn’t able to take it back in immediately. I was under warranty and thought I had time (my mileage at the time was under 36K). When I took it again (about a month and a half later) stating that it was not fixed, they tried to charge me for $350.00 just to look at it because now, my warranty had expired. I was under the impression that my warranty was going to expire at 60K or five years. Of course, I refused to pay that outrageous fee and left.I then returned at Tony Nissan with my husband and he demanded to speak to a manager. They looked at my vehicle at no cost but said they needed to contact Nissan corporate to get an approval to cover the cost of the repair. Three weeks thereafter, Nissan denied my claim stating that 1) I didnt have enough history with maintaining my vehicle and 2) my warranty is expired. This is such an incredible injustice for Nissan should have fixed the problem initially while my vehicle was under warranty. My vehicle is maintained immaculately with regular oil changes, etc. I intend to sue Nissan corporate and Tony Nissan to recoup the costs to repair my vehicle. Furthermore, I will not trust any brand with the Nissan name.

Bad experience with Altima 2013. I was out of manufacture warranty when first radiator started to leak and needs the replacement - It was a rusted hole in the part!! Next - transmission failed - pieces of metal found in the transmission! When I looked up on the internet I realized that I purchased the lemon. Reviews are stating “Avoid like a plague” Nissan Altima 2013, 2014, 2015 due to the transmission problem. On my request Nissan used a good reason not to satisfy my claim to replace the car or to pay for repair as I am out of manufacture warranty. People talking like robots polite and monotonous. Nobody wants to take responsibility. This is my 2nd Nissan, First I owned for 20 years. Will not go with Nissan anymore.

First, I couldnt get my refund for almost one month. I called several times, and each time I have been told that it will take just 4-5 days to get the refill. On October 24th , I called and asked them to send me a statement that I can pay my bill in November. Guess what? Today is November the 21st, and I still have not gotten the statement. I spoke to three people and all of them are saying, that they sent the statement. I get my mail from my credit card company, and from other departments , but not from Nissan? My payment due is today! If I pay by phone, I have to pay for this, they told me. Anyway, it seems like people at Nissan do not know how to manage their business. Even managers!

I am the owner of a 2013 Nissan Rogue S AWD Special Edition. Prior to this vehicle I have bought Two and Leased Two, and believe me there is No Loyalty from this company. My complaint with Nissan is - on Sept. 2014 I brought my car to the Dealer MLG #34,387 Newburgh Nissan NY for CVT transmission problems. Whining and over heating causing loss of power while driving on the highway, very dangerous. They found an ABS code C1106. Had no problem until April 2015 and it happened again, whining and over heating causing loss of power while driving on the highway. So I brought it back to the Dealer MLG #45,452 Newburgh Nissan NY and they could not duplicate the problem and NO codes. OK so now I called Consumer Affairs of Nissan and I received a return call from ** (615) 725-7592 who gave my a REF. # **. Told her what was going on and she insisted that I take to a different Dealer for a Second Opinion. So thats what I did, I brought the car over to another Dealer MLG #45,963 April 2015 Middletown Nissan NY and they couldnt duplicate the problem as well and NO codes. And now to top it off, this problem its costing me money to a Rent A Car. OK So I picked up the car and on May 2, 2015 it happened again. On May 4, 2015 I had my friend hook up the scanner to check the system and found a stored code. Transmission Fault code P0744 Torque Converter ECU part # 31036-JM62A. So I brought the car back to the first Dealer Newburgh Nissan NY and thats where car is now, and they wouldnt give me a rent a car so I am stuck home. I left several messages with ** and have not received a call back. Shows you how concerned she is about this problem. I also filed 3 Vehicle Safety Complaints with Safercar, gov...

We have a 2013 Nissan Altima that started having drivetrain issues around 85,000 miles. The unreliable, poorly designed CVT seems to be the issue. After getting 2 quotes from 2 different dealerships, (one at $3742, and the other at $3565). I asked the dealership to see if this could get covered under good will or for Nissan to cover some of the cost since the extended warranty covered the car to 84 months or 84,000 miles. The claim was rejected because they said the timeframe was too far out. Nissan knows they have problems with this transmission, otherwise they would have never been forced to extend the warranty on 2003 - 2010 Nissans for 10 years or 120,000 miles or the 2012 - 2020 models for 84 months or 84,000 miles.Nissan should be held responsible for covering a defected product that they continue to use. Please dont make the same mistake I did, do your research and do not buy a car from Nissan, especially one with this CVT system. I am having an independent shop to fix my car because I refuse to give Nissan anymore of my money. I for one will never buy a Nissan product again!!!!

Cliff notes: No email available to communicate with the corporate office concerning warranty work. You have to use a call center that is slow, cumbersome, and not proactive. Wish we would have stuck with purchasing tried and true Chevy C2500, Ford F250, or RAM 2500 diesels. We purchased a 2018 Titan XD Pro4X (Diesel) truck for our small construction company. The specs matched our needs though the reviews were not as strong as we would have liked the price was appealing and the reviews were not terrible. The size was more comfortable than the C2500 and F250 we have in service. At 30K miles we received both ABS and 4WD warnings after traveling 300+ miles that day. The engine was fine just no 4wd or cruise control. The dealership advised we were fine to continue our trip and to come in when back in town or we could go to another dealership near us if time allowed. Over night the error reset. The dealer said to bring it in when back in town the computer would let them know what need to be repaired on the drive train. On our return trip the error happened again at around 350 miles and again over night it reset and was fine. The trip to the dealership was inconclusive and I was advise to drive around until the error happened again even though that might be over 300+ miles as 5 things might be causing the problem and they could not test each of those components to rule them out. That effort was too intense for them. Thus the call to corporate to report the dealer would not take action on what my local mechanic found on his diagnosis machine. What a run around. The non dealer shop received the P1819 Shift ACT CIR Malfunction detected in the transfer motor circuit error and advised that should be too touch for a certified mechanic to figure out. Finally I have convince the dealership they needed to do more for me and they are taking the truck back in and are prepared to trace back the error and replace the transfer case in the event it is the culprit. This was after I paid our local mechanic to diagnosis the problem and the local service manager had twice refused to perform further repairs until the truck failed again. The only response I can get from Corporate Nissan is to call them. When calling I am referred back to the dealer and am told they have no access to the dealerships efforts though we have Nissan Connect which reads what maintenance and system status in on the truck. Shame on us for choosing Nissan.

I turned in a 3 year leased 2015 Nissan and purchased a 2017 Nissan Altima
I turned in a 3 year leased 2015 Nissan and purchased a 2017 Nissan Altima on November 30, 2017. I only had one car in my possession. My automatic payment from my bank did not get stopped in time for two payments which both went to the leased car, which I had turned in. When I found out what happened in January (when I would normally make my first car payment on a new car) I went straight to the dealership and we both called numerous times about the over-payment. On January 22, 2018 I decided to make a second payment to protect my good credit. All they had to do was to transfer my funds to the new car. They said they would but they did not. I had an executive lease on the car (I highly recommend this) so I did not owe anything for any damage to the lease. I received a letter from Nissan Motor Acceptance telling me not to make a payment in February (because they were holding $1047) so I did not make Februarys payment, In March I made my regular payment for the new 2017 Nissan and realized they never transferred the funds to the right car in February! So, on March 7th I made two more car payments, again to protect my good credit (did I mention I received a letter that threatened to take back the car during this fiasco?). So, I paid March on time and did not pay Februarys payment because they said they would transfer the funds, but they did not. Late in March I received a check for over all the money they owed me. That was three months of my wasted time and after all that, they still ruined my I credit saying I was 30 days late in February and 60 days late in March!! Worst of all I contacted the 3 credit bureaus with the letter from Nissan saying not to pay in February and the check for over $1047 with an apology letter in March, but Nissan is refusing to allow my credit to be restored!! Ive lost out on a 0 interest credit card and have been denied credit due to this and my credit score has dropped from 733 to 705. It is now ten months later and I am still working on repairing the damage they have done!!

We have a 2008 versus with a CVT-transmission that went bad at 120956 mileage. Faulkner Nissan diagnostics stated trans needed to be replaced for 3300.00. The extended warranty was for 12000 miles. We contacted Nissan to ask for partial assistance and waive the 956 miles. Our request was denied by Rachael from consumer affairs who states she makes the decisions to grant customers request or not. She stated that our vin-number was not included in the extension which is not true according to Nissans website. Ms. Rachael wanted us to have car re-diagnosed for 100.00 knowing she had already decided to decline assistance based on the false information about the vin - number not being included.

I own a Nissan Juke MY 2013, mileage of 67,000 km, ever since I purchased the car and I am complaining that it is not giving the full power even when I press on the pedal. I have missed the service for 10.000 km back in 2015 and when I visited them in December 2016 I asked them to do the major service and repair whatever is in the car. Everything went smooth, no issues in the car and I took it back. On July 19th 2016 I took the car there for a quick service and complained about the same issue. (Car doesnt give full power.) They got back to me with the fact that the CVT assembly have an internal defect and that my warranty will not cover it because of the missed service.I work for one of the biggest automotive companies as a Warranty specialist in the middle east office which means I know my rights and the customers right. This of course raised many questions: When I bought the car from Al Rostamani I was informed that the car comes with 5 years warranty / 100 km. Apparently the car comes with 3 years only and the other two years are insurance warranty. (Dubai insurance.) I did NOT receive or signed any legal; document which shows me the terms and conditions of this insurance warranty, only the terms and conditions in the service booklet which obviously doesnt say: Your warranty will be void if you missed a service.I asked the service advisor in Dubai: Did it fail due to low amount of transmission oil? NO. Did you find any metal particles in the transmission oil or the oil was burned? NO. And since they cannot disassemble the transmission, then how did they know that it was misused!!! The middle east office offered 75% coverage on the repair. And I do appreciate it but: legally speaking, is it fair to charge the customer for a product defect, the missed service have no direct impact on the damage, if it did then it would fail in December when I got the car there for a full check. I am completely disappointed in how they are marketing for these 5 years warranty just to increase their sales. I am definitely raising this to the consumer protection, as soon as I receive an official letter from the dealer in Dubai and Nissan middle east providing me with the T&C of my warranty and a valid reason on why the repair is not covered.

I have been trying for six months to remove my ex-husbands name from the title of my car, on which I still owe a small sum of money. I have literally spoken to a dozen Nissan reps who have strung me along this entire time - with no solution in sight. They are clearly lying to me at every turn, and I get the strong impression that they are urged to lie when you call about this. I have heard everything from, Your paperwork fell through the cracks and well have this resolved within a week (that was in January), to You need to resubmit your notarized forms (that was in April) - never mind that I already sent it certified mail. I have even asked the motor vehicle commission in my state to call them. Even they cant get a straight answer. My lawyer warned me that they would give me the runaround, since they do not want to remove a second party from a title, in case I default on the loan.I have literally shed tears with some of these people - after trying for months to resolve this. I am battling Stage IV cancer and am begging them to remove his name from the title so that he doesnt end up with the car. Theyve promised to call me back immediately (hasnt happened), transfer me to a supervisor (hasnt happened), process my request immediately (hasnt happened). Im now entering my sixth month with no resolution. Ive told them repeatedly that I could be dead before they get their head out of their behinds and resolve this. While I love the two Nissans I own, I will never finance with them again, and I will let everyone know that they shouldnt either! Shame on NMAC!

Shame on Nissan! I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated. My steering lock control unit went out and even though there was a petition to get this part recalled I had to pay for the part. It was past the warranty, but I was told that if I took my car to a dealership, I would get a fair review of my case by Megan, the regional consumer affairs specialist, in hopes of warranty assistance. She denied my claim in part because my 2009 Altima had not been to a dealership since 2011, implying that I was not a loyal customer. Why would I take my car to a dealership if there isnt any repairs that need to be done on it? I have owned FIVE , Nissans and bought 1 brand new car and 1 used car from Suntrup, not to mention personal recommendations. I have paid Nissan upwards of $40,000. If that isnt customer loyalty I dont know what is. Complaints have filed with the BBB, FTC, and NHTSA.

I have been reading the problems with the Nissans... WOW... When I bought mine it had 46,000 on it, that was 18 months ago. I dropped my car Nissan Altima 2012 off Monday and since they didnt have it done by Tuesday they offered me a rental for free. It is Wednesday and I just picked up my car. I have had problems with this car from the get go... I am now on transmission #3 in 18 months. They have never charged me a penny and our dealership out here is amazing! I have called Nissan North America yesterday and they said they would call me today by 5:00. I had leukemia and had a bone marrow transplant, the hospital I see my doctor at is 120 miles away. With the first transmission I would be doing approx 75 mph in the fast lane and all of a sudden nothing. It completely shut down. I have been nearly (could have been fatal) car crashes 3 times. You know how hard it is going from the fast lane to the slow lane with no power. Anyway, I feel terrible for you all paying so much money out. I have been lucky, on my first transmission I was 300 miles from the warranty expiring. I wish you all the best. I am afraid to drive my car now. Fingers crossed for Nissan North America.

I purchased this vehicle new in 2009 and have since had 3 failures since owning this car. Nissan installed what is called an Electronic Steering Column Lock (ESCL) that is designed to help prevent theft. Unfortunately if this part fails and it will about every 50,000-60,000 miles you will be unable to start the car even though mechanically there is nothing wrong with your car. I looked up other complaints and there is over 256k complaints on this issue alone yet Nissan will not back this part up. I paid to have it installed a 3rd time and was told that it was the 3rd generation on this part and that it would last but here I am 60,000 miles later and it broke again. I understand that my vehicle is 10 years old now but, I dont understand how Nissan can know that a part they make is defective and not come up with a solution or work around it leaving drivers completely stranded in a vehicle mechanically sound. The repair for this is between $800-$1,100 each time. Nissan is aware of it and stopped installing it in all Nissans and Infinitis starting in 2012 but deny the part is defective. Knowing this I cant recommend that you buy any product from Nissan as there is no guarantee that they are going to back their product up and since this is a unique part built specifically for their vehicles only in 2009-2011 there are no aftermarket parts for this. If Nissan told me upfront that hey, this is a great engine and if you maintain it this vehicle will go at least 300k miles but, there is a part on it that cant be maintained and will break every 50k miles and costs $1,000 each time to repair I never would have bought it. Ive owned 3 Nissans in my life and this will be the last one I ever buy.

I bought a 1989 Nissan Hard body pickup (D21) from a friend. The DMV (Riverside, California) allowed me to register it but said I must send a certified letter to Nissan Corporation to obtain the Title. So I sent Nissan a certified letter requesting a title and they sent it back to me without even opening the letter. Then the DMV said that I needed to buy a bond and they (the DMV) would make me a new Title. So I bought a bond and gave it to the DMV. Then I received a letter from the DMV from Sacramento, California stating that I would still need to contact Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation to obtain a Title. My friend paid this truck off back in 1994. There is no reason that I know of for Nissan to withhold the Title. I cannot get in touch with anyone from the company. My registration expires in October of 2014. Please Nissan call me and lets get this problem solved.

My 2017 Nissan Rogue on a dozen frightening occasions while I was accelerating uphill on a dry flat road dropped into lower gear and flashed the red alert triangle. Very scary. I have to take my foot off the gas pedal in order to be able to continue accelerating. Very terrifying especially with cars behind me. Nissan service manager and mechanics refuse to acknowledge the problem and treat me badly and tell me to come back with the incident recorded. I think that Nissan is very aware of the problem and is hiding it until there is a major fatality and they have to have recalls. I dont feel safe in my brand new car and I am treated terribly by the dealership management because they are sexist. Does anyone else have this problem? Please post if you do. This is very serious and I am terrified to drive my car.

2011 Nissan Juke: So far I have had to turn my car in for 2 recalls. One was the engine and the second was the timing belt. The second time they had to fix my car. They told me they would be keeping it for 4-5 days! This wouldnt be a problem if they would give me a loaner car. However, they dont give out loaners unless you have 70,000 miles or less on your car. What? Why? My car only has 80,000. The only reason my car is in the shop is because of their faulty manufacturing and recall. The Town Center Nissan in Kennesaw, GA serviceman said I would have to call Nissan headquarters in order to get the rule overruled. OK... whatever.I call them and then it takes a day for them to get back to me to say they refuse to help me because I didnt buy the extended service warranty. Well, if I would have known what a piece of crap car and company I was buying from (I wouldnt have made the purchase) I would have bought the warranty. I asked kindly for them to make an exception because I am a good customer AND I am right at the line. Still they refused and had no other response except to say, You didnt buy the extended service warranty. What are you trying to do Nissan? NO Customer Service? Teach me a lesson about buying extended service warranties?! Its not enough to be a customer who spent 18,000 on your faulty product?! This will be the LAST Nissan I own.

I am writing to voice my complaint about my current Nissan experience with my 2011 Nissan Altima that was purchased in December of 2016. The car is currently only 6 years old and I have experienced a total loss to the value of the car. I have recently had all the locks in my car go out... ALL AT ONCE. When contacting Nissan about my options of what to do; I was recommend to replace my key fob battery and if not that do a test to see what the problem is. After having the test done Friday, August 18th, I was told that I needed to replace all four actuators on my Altima. The price range for this is estimated to be around $1350. After talking to family members and family members employed with Nissan we feel that the information given to me is accurate and that there is a bigger issue with the car other than this. We believe replacing these the problem will continue to be there due to there being a wiring or system malfunction with my Altima. I am just really upset and not understanding how a car that is 6 years old already have every actuator go out and all at once. This is a total inconvenience and just see so much to spend on a car that I dont even have paid off yet. This experience has honestly made me not want to buy another Nissan in the future. I never expected to have this happen but I have to say it is a huge disappoint and not convenient when you have a push start car.

Nissan consumer affairs, its a joke. I contacted them 6 months after buying a brand new Nissan Rogue. That 1st week my car started having problems. I took it to Nissans service multiple times. They did not record anything in their system and told me the car was fine. My passenger air bag light stays on at all times and a noise on the drivers strut (wheel) every time you take a right turn. So a manager drove the car, said everything was okay. So again they sent me home worried. A week later again I take the car to service, they said the car was fine. Then in September 2013 I took it again to Nissan service. They again said nothing is wrong. I asked for a manager, he again said nothing wrong with the car. So I let it go until I saw other cars (Rogue 2013s) and not one had the issue that I have. So in December I took it again to service. They again said nothing wrong, this time I spoke with a female manager name ** in Cherry Hill, NJ. Then she decided to go in the back to check the car with me and saw what was going on. She agreed that the car was not right, she kept the car in service and gave me a rental. The car stayed in service for over a month because they could not detect any issues, then they get A professional mechanic and he replaced both front struts and the sensor of the air bag. It was okay for 3 hrs then the same thing happened again. I called them and told them the same issue is happening again. They kept the car again and they still couldnt find the problem. So they gave up, I guess, and told me again nothing wrong. I contacted consumer affairs and they pretty much did nothing. They told me if I didnt want to drive the car to the service and get it towed, I was going to be responsible for the fees. I fear driving my new car. How great is that??? So I contacted lemon law. They told lemon law that they wanted to offer me $2000 for the inconvenience. HELL NO I dont want money I was to feel same in my car. Thats why I bought a new car so I didnt have to drive back and forth to the car service.

We bought a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder on January 1st, 2014. It was brand new and had been driven, but you could see that the sunroof had something wrong with it because there were water stains on the inside and since it was the panoramic sunroof that does not open, there was definitely an issue with it. The dealership assured us that they would fix it before we drove it off the lot. We trusted that when we finally were able to take it home that it was fixed right and would last. Fast forward 5 years and now it is rusting all around the sunroof and we have been told that the entire roof needs to be replaced. This is a 5 year old vehicle that has no rust anywhere else and has been garage kept for the majority of the time we have owned it. I spoke to Nissan consumer affairs and after going through all their hoops for a diagnostic, they informed me today that they would not be financially assisting me in fixing an issue that is clearly their fault. It may have taken five years to surface but I should not have to pay almost half of what the vehicle is worth to fix a rust issue that was caused by their repair job. Its a disgrace and although this is my fourth Nissan and I have been happy with this Pathfinder I will never buy another Nissan. I cannot believe how they treat their customers when there is a problem. They are awful. Stay away!

In the past, I have owned two Nissan cars, a 1992 Sentra and a 2004 Murano, both paid in full. Well, in 2012, the transfer case/transmission went out on my Murano and the cost to get it repaired was going to be over $3,500 plus labor. Because of lack of income and I just started to work as a caretaker, I could not afford to get it repaired at that time (I loved my Murano). I had to check online and found there are so many people that had problems with the transfer case on their Murano (I do not know why Nissan has never done a recall). Since October 2012, I have been renting a car at Enterprise, which I was paying over $1,081.00 a month. So if you do the math, I have been giving Enterprise, over $8,600 for the last 8 months. So, I had been praying about what to do and since I was paying this money every month, I thought I would try to go to Nissan dealership in Victorville, California to see if they would help me get a used car. I was looking around and a salesperson asked me if I needed any help, I told him that I was looking for a used car. I explained to him my financial situation and what was going on with credit. He went and got another salesperson; they went and got a sales manager and they did the numbers. I told them that I could afford to pay $400.00 a month. Next thing I was told go and test drive a 2013 Nissan Sentra. I told them that I did not want to have very high payments. Well, I was told that my payments would be around $400 plus a month. When we got back from test driving, the salesperson told me the black Sentra which was on the show floor would be the car that I would drive off with. I told them that my credit was not good, but they told me that I did not have to worry about anything. So, on May 10, 2013, I drove off in a brand new car from Valley Hi Nissan in Victorville. Well, to my nightmare; on June 14, 2013 I received a call from Mr. George ** one of the finance managers. Nissan had denied my loan because I could not show even funds in my bank account. I told him that if Nissan would have looked at my statements carefully, they would have seen that all my funds were going to Enterprise every week to cover for the car I was renting from them. I told them that if they did the numbers, they would see how much I was spending every week. Mr. ** told me that Nissan did not care about me renting a car; they wanted to see the funds in the account. I told him, How can I keep the funds in the account, if I am renting every week? He told me to bring the car back to the dealership in Victorville. I am very upset with this whole situation because Nissan never gave me an opportunity to even make one payment. I understand that I have had some credit issues, which is not Nissan and the banks problem, but how many people in America are having problems with their credit? I am very upset with the people at the dealership, because now they are saying, Well, we did all we could do. You know, if we mess up how credit scores, the bank and finance companies will hold our past over our heads until we die, and sometimes they hold the past still against who have died. All I wanted them to do is to at least give me a chance to make the payments. So now, here I am back to renting a car so I can get to work, and the dealership has their car which now is a used car. So who wins? I just thank GOD that he does hold our past against us for life.

I highly discourage anyone from purchasing the maintenance plan with Nissan. You are better off setting aside a few dollars in savings toward maintenance. I wanted peace of mind but have found it difficult to get anything covered. I have had two tire issues with a 1-year-old car. First time I had to jump through hoops to get a new tire. The second time I had a complete blowout that shredded my tire and damaged my wheel. I have never experienced this and they refused to cover it by saying I hit a curb when there was a large nail clearly embedded in the sidewall. I acknowledge I probably did hit the curb... after the fact. A complete blowout of a tire is very scary. Bottom line... not worth it!!!

Bought a new truck in June of 2020. Within the first few months it had 2 radiator leaks, showed signs of a/c leaking and possible injector leak at the 1 and 3 cylinders due to dirt build up around them. After passing by police radar on the side of the road at 40 mph on speedometer it showed 37, 36, so 4 mph off. When I took it in to the dealership with the radiator leaking fixed one leak completely a loose screw on the radiator switched radiator cap from radiator to overflow slowed the leak ordered new radiator cap. While their computer was reset to attempt to fix speedometer. After reset at low speed 40 mph radar showed 39 mph. After getting past left and right at highway speeds used GPS speedometer which showed me only doing 72 sometimes 73.To reach 75 mph on GPS speedometer must get to 78 or 79mph on my dash. This greatly increases the mileage on the vehicle and runs the warranty out sooner also greatly reduces resale value of the vehicle. The first time I towed a trailer weighing 2200 pounds and a 24 hp compact tractor weighing less than 2200lbs the receiver hitch cracked and Nissan has done nothing to replace it! The last two things that was in the initial list of issues the battery terminals were never coated with corrosion inhibitor and the bed wasnt mounted properly leaving roughly a 1 inch gap of alignment from the side of the bed from the cab. So if you are looking down the truck from the tailgate instead of the bed blending into the can you see it bend inwards from the outside of the bed towards the drivers side of the truck. Well I had also complained about squeaking noises from the front end and was blown off.I have been trying to get the truck repaired for over a year now to no avail. In May 2021 went to check fluids under then noticed that the headlight was cracked roughly 1 to 2 inches from mounting bolt under the hood, went to other side it was cracked as well. Shut hood got to looking center of hood aligns perfectly with grill but both the driver and passenger sides are off. Gaps between hood and fenders arent even. Its about the opposite of the gaps in the tailgate due to it being misaligned. This vehicle was never wrecked unless something happened to it before my purchase at 48 miles. Nissan doesnt want anything to do with me or the repairs that are warranty repairs. If you are thinking about buying a new Nissan save yourself the headache. Buy something better. Service after the sale is horrible. Nissan consumer affairs has promised to fix these issues since my first call. It now has been in the shop for over a month in total this visit 3 weeks and going and as of 4 days ago hadnt even been looked at. Beware of what you buy.

They replaced the stick shift two times and then the third time told me it had a recall and assured me that it would work after this time. Of course it still isnt working. When I get into my vehicle it may take me up to 30 minutes to get it into gear to even go anywhere. I purchased a new car because I wanted reliable transportation. Well, Nissan isnt a reliable transportation. I wouldnt recommend this vehicle to my worst enemy. The customer service is awful, everyone lies to your face. I am appalled at the whole situation. I purchased a vehicle because I thought it was a sound economical choice and a practical car comparable in functionality to a Toyota or Honda. I was absolutely wrong. Not only do things begin to break and fall apart pre-maturely, but basic maintenance is almost impossible due to the poor construction and parts used on the vehicle. No one, including dealerships carry the parts for this 2012 Nissan Versa. Theres no such thing as being able to buy a new battery from AAA because they wont have it, I cant get the transmission fluid changed because Jiffy Lube cant get to it, I cant get my brakes changed at Firestone because they dont have the random, cheap parts the Versa requires. I didnt buy a car in this price point to be forced to take it to a Nissan dealership for maintenance and have them take a full day or longer to fiddle around with no better information or resources than the next auto mechanics shop.Of course Nissan Corporate heard from me and took no interest in my problems with their product. I just wished they cared more. I put my toddler in that car knowing its not the safest but forced to continue using it until Im presented with an opportunity to be rid of it. I feel like I got duped by Nissans misleading marketing and branding campaign that they are reliable vehicles. It would be nice if Nissan had more integrity. Will never purchase another Nissan or refer them to someone shopping for a car.

I have a Nissan Rogue 2013, took it to a dealer in Surrey at 96000 kms because the transmission seemed to be slipping, the service manager took it for a test drive. After coming back about 5 minutes later he told me the transmission was fine and I should just change the transmission oil. I did this and at 113,000 kms the transmission packed it in driving in downtown Vancouver with my daughter in my car. The top speed now reduce to 15 kms an hour. I managed to limp into a parking stall and got the car towed back the dealer. The dealer and the complaint department at Nissan are now telling me, “Too bad for you, this is out of warranty,” which it is! So I am now on the hook for a $4200.00 bill to get it replaced with no goodwill from Nissan or the dealer on a vehicle I bought new off the lot 4 years ago. I know they have had issues in the past with the CVT transmission so you think they might try to help out, I would never buy a Nissan product after this!

I bought my Titan new and had the usual rotor problem and the rear axle end seals blowing out. Nissan fixes the rotor issue without problems. The axle end seal happened at 76,000 miles, just 1,000 miles out of warranty but after many complaints to corporate, they agreed to pay half. This fix lasted about 4,000 miles, Instead of repeating the repair, I chose to use a thicker viscosity rear end lube from Lucas. I also had to replace the radiator but that is common on all vehicles now that radiators are plastic. If you’re wondering why I give this truck 4 stars, I almost gave it 5 stars, this truck had 355,000 miles on it when I traded it in 2013. Those issues listed above are the only problems I had with this truck and it still ran like a new truck when I traded. The engine and transmission were beasts. I attribute the performance of this Titan to changing my oil every 20 to 25,000 miles with Amsoil and Ea filters. I would have bought another Titan at trade but needed better mpg. Traded for a Ram 1500 4wd and it now has 270,000 using Amsoil.

I purchased a pre-owned certified 2013 Nissan Pathfinder about 1.5 years ago and it was a terrible purchase. I have spent a few thousands of dollars on this car on top of having purchased an extended warranty. There were at least two recalls on this car that were addressed after I purchased the car, two window motor failures within the first year, the compressor from the AC is in the process of being replaced. I will say that these repairs were covered; however, I have had to pay a few thousands for items that were considered normal wear and tear which some items I didnt expect to have to cover so soon after purchasing the car and considering it was a certified car. Overall, I am so disappointed in my purchase and I do not plan on owning another Nissan car again.

I received a call today from a collection agency claiming that I owe $614.20 due to charges for excessive wear and tear on a Nissan that I returned 9 months ago. Mind you, the Maxima that I returned was in mint condition and I leased another Nissan, this time an Altima. I called NMAC today and they claim to have sent me a statement which I never received. That statement was allegedly sent 4 weeks after I returned one vehicle to lease another. The only other correspondence that was made regarding these fraudulent charges was 8 months later from a collection agency!!!! I spoke with about 6 different representatives from NMAC today and received so many contradictory pieces of information. Id like to point out that when the finance manager mistakenly set up my automatic payments for 20 months on my original Nissan for a 36-month lease and the automatic payment ran out, NMAC was quick to call when they didnt receive their payment. I was told today that I wasnt contacted about the most recent charge because it was end of term and NMAC doesnt bother, we just send out one bill and then turn it over to collections.... Really???? This is how they treat current customers? Had I gotten some correspondence and been made aware that I was being unfairly charged for excessive wear and tear attributed to scratches on the rims, I would have at least had some method of recourse. I cannot wait until I make my twelfth payment on this Altima so that I can hopefully buy myself out of this Altima and sever all ties with Nissan and NMAC. This has been the single worst customer service experience of my life!!!! Cant wait to tell Nissan to shove it!!!!!

Consider this. I have a 2011 Rogue and found out the CVT needs replacing. Since Nissan has created a monopoly around their CVT you cannot find parts to rebuild as you cannot buy them. The only way is to replace the entire CVT which you must purchase from Nissan. Ever wonder how they extended the warranty for 2008-2010 only but did the extension in 2014? They knew that the 2011, 2012, 2013 would all have the same problems. Maybe not enough complaints at that time for those years. So I checked the warranty on the brand new replacement CVT direct from Nissan and installed by Nissan... 12 months/20000kms. Although the exact same CVT on a brand new 2017 comes with 5years/60000km warranty. Read between the lines... Nissan cannot even back their own monopoly on CVT with a decent warranty. What a crock of **. Bye bye Nissan FOREVER. The GM of the dealership wont even return my call, probably because he has no excuses for the crap product the CVT is. Someone start a class action and take Nissan and their CRAP CVT down.

I have recently had a terrible experience with my 2009 Nissan Rouge CVT transmission and working with the Nissan customer service you should know about. This issue is not new to Nissan. In fact Nissan extended the warranty to 10 years 120,000 miles. However, they never notified customers about this issue until they start to having a problem. Our problem came at 123,000 miles. If you go to Nissans website http://www.nissanassist.com/ProgramDetails.php?menu=2they state that they will provide financial assistance for those customers who may be beyond the warranty period. Nissan just called to tell me that they will not provide any assistance. What a crock. I came to find out that many people who own a 2009 -2013 Rouge or Murano will have issues with their CVT transmission. For those who own Rouge or Murano made between 2009-2013 have your transmission checked out before the warranty expires.

Service Department issues-- NEVER AGAIN! My 2008 Rogue showed some weird transmission issues on a trip to Virginia on 4 occasions. After some research we learned about a CVT issue with the Nissan transmissions in these autos. Called our service department to report the issue and they took us right away. They acknowledged the transmission issue and related the steps that should be taken 1) schedule and service the transmission 2) a add-on cooler product 3) new transmission. Nissan, as an aside, has increased the warranty on these transmissions from 60,000 to 120,000 miles, acknowledging the issue.I called Nissans consumer affairs department to report the issue and to see if I was a candidate to replace my transmission. My car is used on long journeys often and this CVT issue only happens when the transmission has heated up because of a long journey - 200-300 miles. Once its cooled down, it corrects itself; however, when it happens, one loses all transmission power and acceleration ability. I also wanted Nissan consumer affairs to understand that we use this vehicle on Rt. 95 and we could be killed if we cannot get our car to accelerate.I spoke with 2 different reps who were empathetic, then my last encounter was with someone very rude. It was then I asked for a manager to call and she did. She was pleasant and understanding. I outlined my concern and she and I agreed that if there were any symptoms of the issue again, I would call her immediately and we would address it then. I was satisfied at this juncture and felt comfortable with our agreement. I then received a customer satisfaction survey from Nissan about my service experience. While the team at Hawthorne Nissans service department was nice and helpful, I didnt give Nissan a good customer satisfaction survey because I wasnt satisfied with my vehicles issue. The survey prompted a call from the service director who was concerned about his service departments score and wanted to do a deeper dive on my vehicle problem. I told him at the present time there werent any issues. He said he wanted to replicate the drive so they could experience the problem by taking my car for the weekend and giving it to the errand person and then having the service manager drive it home which is about an hour from the service center. I advised that this short driving would NEVER replicate the issue.Nevertheless, I was agreed and dropped my car off with the understanding that I would need a loaner vehicle. They hesitated but agreed. I stopped after work and picked up the loaner which had just over a quarter of a tank of gas and was given strict instructions that I must return it with exactly the same amount of gas. Ok. Then as I sat in the drivers seat they said, oh by the way, the passengers side door doesnt work.I took the loaner and parked it in my driveway. It was of no use to me without an operating passenger door. This is when my husband got involved. First thing Monday I called about my car and was told they couldnt find anything which I knew would be the case. I told them Id be in to get it. This was after my husband called and addressed the broken SERVICE department loaner issue with the director who seemed nonplussed about the entire situation. The story gets better because my car tire light was on when I got into my car. Remember the Service manager drove my car and I was appalled that he couldnt put a tire gauge on it and see if it needed air. What kind of service is that? Oh, and I had to throw away the lunch garbage that someone left in my vehicle too. Last, I learned that my car had been sitting in the service department parking lot the entire weekend. We did call back consumer affairs and reported the incident. My husband did re-engage with the service director who basically blew him off with an Oh well. This was after he told him never again would we service our car with Nissan or buy another Nissan vehicle. I pray that this transmission issue doesnt arise again and we arent killed on the highway. 2012 Nissan Versa with just over 81,000 miles. Took it to a local shop and they said the transmission is toast. Local dealer charged 0 dollars to analyze and realize the transmission is no good. Since the repair of $4.0K will cost more than the value of the car, Im going to junk it and try to get as much money back on the $16K that I paid. I cant believe that a car that is not even 5 years old has a transmission failure! Now that I have done some online research, I am seeing that this is a rather common event for the 2012 Nissan Versa. So why is Nissan not stepping up to the plate and doing something about this? I will never buy a Nissan again and will tell everyone I know about this issue and how Nissan DID NOT back their product.

I am a Federal employee being reassigned overseas for a 3-year assignment that involves the security and safety of the USA. I currently have a leased vehicle with Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (NMAC), which I cannot take out of the country. NMAC will not allow me to terminate the contract early without paying them a penalty of $13,186.30. Only if I was active duty military would they make the exception. Even after providing a copy of my orders and explaining that I am a USMC veteran that is continuing to serve the USA in a civilian capacity to help protect the lives of our citizens and prevent another 9/11, they still will not make the exception. I am not trying to get out of the contract for financial reasons or circumvent the system in any way; I just cannot take the vehicle with me. I find NMACs business ethics insensitive and unacceptable. So much for Never forget.

I know that this probably isnt relevant anymore, but I just wanted to provide my experience(s) with Nissan vehicles. When I got out of the Navy in 1979 and landed my first job. I bought my first new vehicle which was a Datsun King Cab (Nissan was the parent company of Datsun back then). This truck was wonderful, and everything you could hope for with reliability, great gas mileage, comfort and durability! So, in 1985 when it came time to replace this truck (Datsun had already changed their name to Nissan by then) I thought well heck, I had such great luck with my Datsun so there was no need to even shop around. That was a big mistake! I was young and impulsive then. Keep in mind that this is about vehicle that I bought brand new back in 1985. So, I plunked down my 18K for a new 2 wheel drive Nissan King Cab. The only option it had was air conditioning and thats it! It had no power steering and was difficult to drive at low speeds like in a parking lot. There was some black overspray under the hood that I cant imagine was supposed to be there since it looked like it didnt serve a purpose. The next things will astound you! When you drove the vehicle on the freeway at anything over 55 mph, you could not roll the windows completely up! Thats right, there was a vacuum created where the side windows actually pulled in and away from the window tracks just enough to not allow for the them to not close all the way. This was solved by reducing your speed below 55 mph. (I had good old fashioned hand cranks). Oh, it gets better. Since the front brake pads were metallic, the brakes had this loud metal on metal grinding sound that you could hear all the way down the block every time you approached a stop sign or light. People would actually look at you and stare! I went to the dealer about this and they said that since the pads were metallic that was normal and they just needed to break in. That sound never went away the whole year I owned the truck. Ok, next, The truck had several bolts missing here and there so I think it was a quality control issue at the factory. That didnt cause me any concern except that I thought what else was missing in areas that I couldnt see? Ok next, The air conditioner and heater worked very well (for 18K, in 1985 dollars it better have) except when it rained outside. The defroster simply could not keep up with any and all the condensation on the inner windshield. Even if you had the fan at full speed for long periods of time and tried different settings, nada. You had this foggy haze that would not go away on the inside of the windshield. I actually had to keep a squeegee on my dashboard and every so often reach for it and squeegee my interior windshield while driving. Nissan could at least provided me with a squeegee, enough said. Did I mention I paid 18 thousand dollars back in 1985 for this brand new truck? The plastic grille was held on with some cheap plastic fasteners that after a few months gave out so the grille would always vibrate loose. I think that was about it. I sold that truck private party for a loss for payoff. I dont know if Nissans quality control, engineering, and manufacturing had improved since then, but I vowed that I would NEVER NEVER NEVER buy another Nissan EVER again! This will crack you up. A year later, Nissan sends me this survey to complete and return. After I ripped them a new one, I never heard back from them ever again! Did I mention that I paid $18,000 in 1985 dollars for this truck? LOL. Their advertising campaign back then was Nissan, we are driven. What they didnt tell you was that they were driven to sell you an inferior overpriced vehicle. On a positive note, I think that all the Nissan engineers have long since retired and are laughing all the way to the bank unless of course, they purchased a Nissan.

I bought my 2012 Pathfinder with 2,500 miles about a month ago. It has been in the dealer seven times, twice for the car will jump into 4X4 automatically and check engine light comes on. Due to some bogus info from the tech at the dealer about too much trans fluid being put in, Nissan has voided my warranty for the trans. No one will call me back from Nissan executive levels or even try to help in any way. The car has 4,000 miles on it and I am over a barrel. Im on my second leased vehicle from Nissan, and until today, I have never had an issue with the vehicle and/or Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (NMAC). Last year, I decided to take a job out of state, and I brought the vehicle with me on a trailer. I called Nissan and informed of them my change of address as soon as I has settled in, so that the correct taxes were included on my monthly bill and any correspondence would be forwarded to my new address. I also inquired about early termination penalties since I knew I would be getting a company vehicle in 2016. I drove my Nissan for a few months, until my company car was available, and then it just sat in my garage. A couple of months after that, I decided I didnt want to keep paying insurance for a vehicle that I wasnt using, so I called NMAC and spoke to an agent about my options. This was sometime in February or March 2016 and my lease isnt up until December 2016. I was told by an agent (whose name I didnt write down) that I could return the vehicle after inspection and continue to make my automatic monthly payments until the end of my lease agreement. She arranged for AIM to come inspect the vehicle at my home and gave me instructions for the dealership. She was actually very helpful. Shortly after my inspection, I returned the vehicle to a nearby dealership and continued to make my monthly payments. However, on July 5, I received a letter from NMAC requesting the remaining balance on my account by July 16. I called the NMAC customer service number and was told by another agent that once I returned the vehicle to the dealership, my account was closed and my automatic payments were stopped. I offered to pay the 3 months of missed payments due to the oversight, and reinstate my automatic payments until the end of my lease agreement in December, but this apparently is not an option. The only option now is pay the remaining balance owed by July 16. If I do not make a payment by then (today is July 25), my account will be sent to collections. Had I known about this policy, believe me, I would not have returned my vehicle in April. I was provided incorrect information by the agent I spoke to in February or March of this year, and I am not being penalized for it. I didnt receive a letter informing me of the situation, prior to this one, because the letters were being sent to my old home address. However, my cell phone number (primary number on my account) has never changed. In the 5 years I have been leasing a vehicle from Nissan, I have never missed a payment, and now I am going to be sent to collections for trying to do the responsible thing. This is not how you treat a loyal customer. I find it ridiculous that a company would rather pay a collection agency to set up a monthly payment schedule with their customer, than work with them in the first place to come to an understanding. All I want to do is keep paying my bill responsibly, as I have been for the last 5 years I have leased a vehicle with Nissan. NMACs intransigent attitude is not good customer service. I for one, will never buy or lease a vehicle from Nissan again.

Nissan Titan 06 Mechanicals Problems - I recently got several letters regarding recalls on my truck. Let me say this first. Before all this repairs the truck was running just fine. I brought the truck to the Nissan dealer where we always been doing business. To get this manufactures problems done one of the recall was #10V517000 and ECU relay. And the second one #10V074000 fuel sender card. This service recall were performed by Auto Nation Nissan in Kingsland Blvd, Katy, after a few weeks driving in the Bellway 8 about 65 mph. And the truck start jerking and losing power with the motor on pressing the gas didnt work. After this I pull over to see what will be the problem and turn the truck off. After a few min. tried turning on and start normal I press the gas and I got more than 3000 rpm. When I start driving the truck for about 10 min. the truck start doing it again but at this moment the truck stall and was hard to drive until I could pull over again on a gas station I barely make it and I look for gas tank and shows 3/4 of gas. I fill up the tank and tried to go back on the road. But the same thing after a few min. truck was worse. I call the dealer for an appointment and brought the truck on Saturday September 30th. For an inspection. I explain the service person all the details and also at the same time the truck was having another issue, leaking water on the passenger side carpet. The service person told me that, they will check everything but I have to pay for this 3 diagnostic. I told them that, I have brought my truck for problems related at the work you have done in the truck. But if they find any problem that is not related with the issues the truck is having I have to pay for all the diagnostics. After three day in the dealer they call me and told me that the leaking under the carpet was the whole problem and the heater core is leaking coolant and that is why the truck was losing power and stalling. It will cost more the $1000 to get if fix.In my head something told me that this doesnt may sense, since the heater core only works if you put the thermostat to heat. So the heater core wasnt the problem in my understanding. I told them that I will take out the truck for a second word. They told me that I have to pay for three diagnostic according that the problems werent the malfunction on what they did. I told them I wont pay for three diagnostic. I knew they didnt inspect the truck. So the service person got in to argument and at the end he only charge me one diagnostic. At that point I just knew they are a bunch of liars and they wont fix what they cause. I told that I need an writing statement saying everything they say. About this diagnostic. After argument for more the three minutes he when inside the shop and talk to the person who did the diagnostic and put all the false statement. I look online and found a Nissan bulletin according that there is a leaking on the AC drain that is making the passenger floor wet, so I start inspecting where the pics show and that was the problem. It took me 5 min. to find the problem and $10.00 for parts to fixed, I drive around the neighbor and the truck still having the same issues. Except leaking water. Now I have a truck seating in my driveway unworking and I totally upset on Nissan service department for been useless and liar on customers like me. Just for no speak perfect English they think they will liar at me. I record and took pictures on everything I did. When I was fixing the leaking issues. So they have to at least fix at this time the truck. The right way.

Sucks and will never buy another Nissan for the rest of my living life. Bad experience from customer service to corporate office. This all started when I took my Nissan to my local Nissan dealer and nothing is ever cover under warranty meanwhile I have warranty for the next 10 years or 100 mile bumper to bumper that I bought through Nissan themselves. My car is 2 years old with 25,000 miles and my headlights are starting to peel which means The car is very hard to drive at night time. Sometimes I feel that I might get into a car accident and Nissan did nothing for me. They just say, “Sorry you’re screwed. If you want new headlights you have to pay out-of-pocket.” Always trying to make the customer pay. My question is what kind of products are theyre making that does not even last two years? That’s the problem. My case number is **. P.S. Denis Le Vot sir with all respect your company needs to make better products and treat better the customers because you just lost one of them. Maybe it’s not gonna hurt anything but is not going to hurt me anymore. Thanks.

As a woman having heard of the many poor business practices against woman in the car dealership and services centers, prior to taking my car in for a scheduled oil change I contacted the Lancaster Nissan Service Center and posed the question if they would perform an oil change on my vehicle if I purchased my own oil and oil filter. I was informed by the gentleman over the telephone that Lancaster Nissan does perform oil changes for customers who bring in their own oil and oil filter and was quoted a price of approximately $16.95. Having scheduled the appointment online and being quoted approximately $89 (with their oil and oil filter), after calling and verifying that I could purchase my own oil and oil filter, I emailed the person who sent me a confirmation of my scheduled appointment asking that a note be made that I will purchasing my own oil and oil filter approximately 5 days prior to my scheduled appointment. I arrive for my scheduled appointment and check in with the representative at the service desk and inform him that the oil purchased and oil filter for this appointment are on the floor on the passenger side. He informs me that the price of the oil change will cost approximately $15 plus tax. I inform him that I am aware as I had previously called and that I would also like to have the old oil filter returned to me. His response was, Ok whatever you say. Although I did not inform him of why I wanted the old oil filter returned, the purpose in my doing so was to ensure that it was indeed replaced. I handed the representative my keys only for him to return approximately 10 minutes later informing me that he was just told that Lancaster Nissan does not perform oil changes unless the customer uses their oil and oil filter. This was puzzling as I previously called to inquire if it was possible and received a quote, and also upon checking in, the representative quoted me a price with me having brought in my own oil and oil filter as well. He indicated that the owner just informed him of this. I asked to speak with the owner whose business card reads General Manager, and he indicated that this is their policy. I asked the owner to see the policy in writing and he informed me that they do not have it in writing as they have never had this type of issue. I asked the owner how it was that I called to inquire of the practice, emailed a representative who sent me confirmation of my appointment, and was also quoted a price at check in upon informing the representative where the oil and oil filter was, that now, all of a sudden it is a policy that cannot be produced in writing. His response was that they have never had this issue arise which is very hard to believe, being that Lancaster Nissan Dealership/Services Center has been in Lancaster for many years. The purpose of this review is to make woman aware of this poor service provided by Lancaster Nissan Services Center, in Pennsylvania and the false representations of their alleged policy which the owner could not produce in person. Although I have a copy of the service agreement I was asked to sign to verify the services I requested which note that I purchase my own oil and oil filter, I am unable to attach it as I am not savvy with technology. However, I am willing to take a picture and email it or mail a copy if requested.

We purchased a brand new 2015 Nissan Rogue in September of this year and were experiencing radio issues from the day we left the dealer lot. It came in very static sounding and we thought maybe we were just in an area with poor reception. As we continued to drive the problem continued in various areas. The sound is so bad that we dont even use the radio. Were forced to use the free XM subscription that is almost expired or the CD player. We brought our car into the dealer of purchase and they claimed to have fixed the issue but we still had the same problem. Being that the dealer we purchased from was far from our home, we took it to another dealer. It has been back twice since then and they have not been able to fix it saying that Nissan needs to release a software update and until they do that the problem cannot be fixed. We were given Nissans number to follow up with them and today (11/19/15) I received a call with the regional consumer affairs representative pretty much telling me that they dont have a solution. I asked her what the timeframe is and if they would offer any other answer besides others have been complaining of the same issue and theyre working on it but she kept repeating the same thing. No timeframe, no resolution, theyre working on it. I even asked if they would cover the satellite radio until the software update comes out to fix the problem and she said they would not. So now if I want to listen to anything besides a CD, Id have to take out more money to pay for the subscription. I completely understand that this isnt a mechanical or safety issue but when consumers are spending thousands of dollars on a brand new item that is warranted to work in a specific manner and the company is not standing behind their customer service, this is absolutely outrageous. I have never heard of something like this before. I paid for a brand new, fully functioning car and that is not what I received. Nissan should be truly ashamed at themselves for selling products like this and not even offering a resolution in the meantime. Horrible quality control, horrible customer service. I will definitely think twice before purchasing another Nissan specifically due to their poor customer service.

Its very embarrassing to have my own customers overhear my conversation!! Its very emotionally draining to try to perform your duties at work, in order to make your payment, and have Nissan repeatedly ask questions that you may not want to answer in front of your own customers. And if Im working with a customer, theyll call my work phone and ask for my co-worker, which is my friend/cosigner. She is tired of the calls as well. I know my payment need to be made. I purchased a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder in September 2013. In the first months two rear seals went bad. Shortly after that, the left rear wheel bearing went out. A few months later, the two motors in the passenger door window (which never gets used) went bad. Then about a month ago my right rear wheel bearing went out. Two weeks ago there was a loud bang in the rear end and the left rear shock absorber broke. REALLY NISSAN??? I would be ashamed beyond belief to have a product of this poor quality and not stand behind it. Your free advertising started after the two seals went bad in the first months of ownership of this vehicle. Then, I read just recently that the Nissan Pathfinder is in the top 10 worst vehicles to purchase right now. My son in law was about to purchase a Nissan Armada, but that will not happen now. Never again Nissan. Poor quality product with big corporation not standing behind their product.

I follow-up with the fax to confirm everything was received and it is all in order. I am told all is in order and the request is being processed. A week later I follow-up for status to be told something or other is missing or incorrect. I took my car to Nissan of Riverhead NY on 8-26-17. I brought it in for two new tires and a coolant flush. This job should have cost me about $450, instead I walked out paying $675. They overcharged me on every part and aspect of service. They broke not one but both of my tire TPMS sensors before telling me what they did. Then had the nerve to say it was my fault because of the metal tire valve stem caps Nissan put on years ago. They claimed giving me a coupon on my receipt and not charging me a fee made up for what they did. The coupon didnt even make up for how much they overcharged me for parts and service.Furthermore driving the car home it had a extreme vibration that it never had before and would require the brakes to be fixed on the car in under a few months to make it go away. Also the tires they sold me were the wrong ones and so badly installed that they would leak constantly and eventually need to be replaced in under two years. Mavis confirmed that it was poor work that cause the premature failure of my brakes and tires. I have all the supporting receipts and videos to prove all this. This is a link to the video when you will hear the one mechanic discuss how bad the work on my car was and you will hear a customer service rep tell him to stop CSI my car and finding problems so they could cover up their terrible service and the damage they did to my car. https://youtu.be/IYTTbhw6taY.Also I met with the owner and he and his staff was unwilling to do anything but play a blame game. I contacted Nissan in the matter and they sided with him even though there are numerous complaints against several of his dealerships. I would not buy from him ever again and certainly I will never buy from Nissan again since they did nothing to solve the problem. I now own a Honda and could not be happier to be out of this nightmare - but the loss of thousands of dollars due to irresponsible businesses such as Nissan is still a painful experience no one should go through.

Two weeks prior to my lease maturity date, I called Nissan to set up my end-of-lease inspection. After 4 phone calls, I was told they use a third party to inspect the vehicles (easy way to avoid blame). Upon calling the third party to set up the inspection, I was told they could not have a representative in my area (suburban Phoenix) for 17 days, which was 3 days after my lease was up. I continued to call Nissan and was assured I would suffer no penalty payments and there was a 10-day grace period. I turned in my car the day my inspection was completed and it was in great shape aside from one dent the size of a nickel.10 weeks later, I received a bill in the mail for $1,200. $400 in damage from a dent in the front, which I agreed to pay, and also the $395 disposition fee, which I agreed to pay. However, I was also charged $398 for an additional months lease payment and $20 in penalty fees. When I called the Nissan Finance representative, they told me the dealership did not report my car being turned in for another 21 days after I had dropped it off. I strongly suggest not doing any business with this company or any of their affiliates, unless you enjoy scams and lies.

My SUV was diagnosed with a manufacturing defective transmission and now has issues with the transmission cooler pipes splitting causing cross contamination between the radiator coolant & transmission fluid. Which resulted in a failure to the automatic transmission. The cross contamination had to have a new transmission, transmission cooler hoses & radiator replaced. I called Nissan Corp and they are refusing to take responsibility. I told them that they are putting families in a dangerous situation. I also explained to them when I purchased my vehicle they were well aware of the situation but concealed that information from me and I let them know that I was pregnant at the time with our 4th child and needed the 3rd row thats why we traded, so I did not appreciate that information being concealed from me and putting my children in a unsafe vehicle. Nissan has caused me to almost wreck 3 times. This has caused so much stress on me and my family. I have reached out to Nissan Corp several times with they refused to fix it or return it and give me my money back. And also I delivered my baby 10 days later after I purchased the Pathfinder and the Pathfinder had about 70,000 miles on it already so the transmission could had easily went out at any time since it had known problems that were concealed from me and caused a very dangerous situation for me and my baby because when I bought the vehicle they concealed the information knowing that it could happen at any time and refused to let me know even though my husband and I both asked if anything was wrong with the vehicle and they told us no they check the vehicles before they sell them by their mechanics. Something needs to be done before someone gets killed. My Pathfinder only has 123,000 miles on it.

Ive been dealing with the same issue for over a year and a half. Every time I call to see if they have fixed the problem (after they have told me it will be fixed), they havent. I dont understand how a business can run without doing their job. Ive called at least 15 times and have been told every time it will be fixed. Ive even asked for a call back every time; not once have I gotten one back. After a year and a half, NMAC has impacted my credit score. I planned to purchase a home in September 2013 but will not be able to. My quality of life has been diminished severely due to this issue. I have lost sleep thinking about what NMAC has done to my credit and how I will have to pay for NMACs fault for years to come. I can honestly say I have never thought a car purchase would negatively impact my life like this. I can only imagine how many customers Nissan is losing due to NMAC.

My dad bought me my first car back in 2016. It was a pre-owned 2012 Versa straight from the dealership with about 60K miles. For the first two years it was great. In fact the best thing this car can offer is the fuel economy. But would I recommend it? NO. The car is extremely light, the doors sound like cheap hollow metal, doesnt even come with sun visor mirrors for Petes sake. You WILL feel unsafe in this car. Fast forward to 90K miles and the car started showing problems accelerating, the air conditioning would blow hot air EVERY 3-4 months (have gotten it fixed about 5 times now). Now that Im on about 103K miles the front dash starts violently rattling when parked, and the worst part, I cannot go faster than 60MPH without the car wobbling side to side and feeling as if the wheels are going to pop off. Since as long as I can remember getting the car it has always has the check engine light on AND the tire pressure light (despite inspecting, rotating and replacing tires, it just comes back on) and the check engine does go away after a service and then lights up immediately after. So, Nissan, IS THERE A RECALL OR WHAT! There have been lawsuits and a class action settlement open for CVT transmission problems, yet when I went TODAY to the dealership they said they dont have an open recall and I would have to pay it all out of pocket then handle it with the company for reimbursement or possibly an offer to get the car back. How about no? I will not be paying $5,000 to then SEE if Nissan will deal with the issue. The car isnt even worth 5 grand!!!

I leased a 2014 Pathfinder May of 2014. My gas mileage was very poor. At 2500 miles, I was averaging 8 to 9 miles to the gallon. The car is rated at 19 city and 25 highway. I mentioned it to the service department and he said I need to get more miles on the engine and that it would improve. Well I dont expect to get 19 mpg but at least 15 to 16 mpg. I now have 11,000 miles on the car and am averaging a big 10.1 to 10.3 city and 12.6 highway. I am not a lead foot driver. I took it to my dealership and they said they would check it out correct any problems they find. After having the car all day, they claim there is nothing wrong with my car. Is 12.6 highway send up a red flag or what. My friend has the exact same car as myself, same model, year, and engine. He averages 15.9 city and 18.2 highway with his a/C on. I mentioned this to my dealer, they said to call Nissan consumer affairs rudely. Well I did, they tried to tell me maybe its the way I drive and look at my book from Nissan to get some tips on how to drive to get better gas mileage. What kind of tips can I get for highway driving? Your foot basically stays in one position driving on the turnpike at 65 to 70 mph. The woman at consumer affairs said to take it to another Nissan dealer for a second opinion and if they find nothing wrong then Im basically stuck with what I have. She also said the gas estimates are just that an estimated mpg. Does 12.6 mpg come even close to the 25 mpg rating of Nissan. If I dont get any solution from Nissan then I will put big lemons on the car with gas mileage I am getting and park it in front of the dealership. Maybe it will get someones attention. Well, thats where I stand at this point.

I was three months away from returning my Nissan lease and wanted to go into another lease without any interruption. The Hyundai Sonata caught my eye and decided to go to my local dealer. There I spoke with Kevin ** and informed him that I was interested in a Sonata and that I also had three months left on my Nissan lease. After going back and forth with the numbers and his manager and agreeing that the dealership would pick up my last three months, we shook hands and the deal was complete. I gave Kevin my account number with Nissan so he could call and take care of the particulars. I left my deposit and was told to come back the following week to pick up my new lease. After two months, I received notification from Nissan that the monthly note was not paid. I called to speak with the finance person who pawned me off to Kenton **. After telling Kenton what happened, he informed me that it wasnt in my file. I told him that Kevin ** wrote it in his notes and he should talk to him. After chasing Kenton numerous times as he would never return my phone calls, I finally spoke to him and he told me that the check went out on May 12 and Nissan would get it by that Monday. I called Nissan three days after and they never received such payment. Two days later, I get a phone call from a collection agency stating that Im in collection for three months past due payments ($1,050). Kenton flat out lied to me and he nor his manager had no intentions on honoring what salesman Kevin ** promised. My husband actually went to speak to Kenton and he said that the best he could do was pay for half and I agreed to that. He didnt even honor that. He kept saying his manager was out and he hasnt gotten a chance to finalize; it was a lie.I sent a certified registered letter to the owner of the dealership Jim ** on July 16th asking him to follow up and get in touch with me. It is now Aug. 18th and I never received the receipt from the post office with his signature. This lets me know that he, along with his employees, practice unethical ways. As the owner of this dealership, he should have at least called me but he never did. I have been a loyal Nissan customer for over 12 years and decided to venture out and try something different. Premium Nissan of New Rochelle staff honor what they say they would do and I never had any problems whatsoever. Why did I give my business to a dealership that couldnt care less about customer satisfaction as long as they get the sale?

We purchased a Nissan Titan in MD and then moved 3 months later to Nevada. I landed a job that needed me to have tags title and insurance through Nevada immediately, otherwise, I could not work for them. I had to contact Nissan for a temporary lien release to transfer my name and my mother-in-laws name to a Nevada title and have NMAC put right back on as the lien holder. All they had to do was fax it to me, giving DMV in LV, Nevada permission to transfer that information to a new title for this state so I could go back to work and survive. I now have missed 2 weeks because they have to have all these supposedly different departments approve it, but I am on the loan and my payments are made, and now, they send me a paper that will not do and say I have to wait another 2 weeks to a month. They have 2 more days to get it to me via fax (which is not hard to do), otherwise, I lose my job. If that happens, I will take them to court for loss of wages and anything else I am entitled too. This is ridiculous! They are more than willing to take your money and have you sign your life away, but when you need just a simple piece of paper stating what is yours or what youre paying for or Lord even to follow the law, you have to go through a mini war to get it. Also, do not try to contact anyone there on a daily basis because you will be harassed by certain representative at their answering center. It took me 11 calls in 1.5 hours to get in touch with the person helping me at her extension no less, and then, I was told that it was my fault that its taking so long and that I should have informed them sooner that I needed it when in fact, I informed them within 5 minutes of finding out what I needed. You can bet your bottom dollar that if it were them being faced with losing their job due to something I didnt do, they would be after me like a bat out of hell. Someone, please make this corporation do what they say when they say it and when we need it. I feel for anyone who finances through them. If your life is hassle free now, it will not be, after dealing with them in my opinion. For just a temporary lien release, giving a government company (DMV) permission to do their job and for me to follow the law, it takes 5 minutes. Thats all to fax. What is there issue? Oh, and I was told that this is a special request, something they do not do. Yeah okay.

I have 2007 Altima and at 75k miles the transmission went out. Nissan gave a courtesy warranty extensions for Nissan Altima due to the fact they knew their CVT transmission were crap. I took my car to Torre Nissan in La Quinta Ca where they replaced the transmission because of the warranty. 56k miles later the transmission went out again. This time I called consumer affairs Nissan and dealt with an extremely rude Bernice. Basically when I called them out on faulty products she turned it on me. That I should have gotten my oil changes with Nissan to prevent this. Well, I got my oil changes done at a licensed mechanic shop and oil changes have nothing to do with my transmission. Ok so I took my car to a different dealership. I explained to them this will be the 3rd transmission. The guy told me they will inspect the car and look into finding out why the transmission keeps going out. I received a call 3 hours later letting me know it was indeed the transmission (ouch $3300) but they were able to locate the recurring problem. The transmission was overheating as the cooling system wasnt suffice, basically faulty design. This was something they have been seeing for sometime now. They suggested adding an additional cooling component as they have seen nothing but success by doing this. No more overheating from what they have experienced. Ok so an additional $387 to extend the life of this transmission. So naturally I contact Nissan consumer affairs to report the new findings as had the lasts dealership looked into it. We could have fixed it then to prevent this costly repair. Well once again I got a big screw you from Nissan and the same repeated answer, Unfortunately Nissan will not be able to provide financial assistance on out of warranty repairs. No matter what I said Erick repeated that same statement. So I am screwed because one of their dealerships didnt do their job and look into what caused the transmission failure because it was under warranty. So as a consumer I get screwed. But at first their excuse was I didnt get services at Nissan and now once I provide them with the information that I got the transmission through their dealership it is cause I am 16k over the extended warranty. All I was asking for was a little help. Screw Nissan and I will NEVER buy Nissan again.

I believe references shouldnt be contacted unless a payments missed, emergency, or to locate the whereabouts of the customer. Nissan Motor Acceptance is actually the billing department. My first payment isnt due for another 34 days! Nissan already sent a letter informing me of the billing department and online options to manage my account. My reference shouldnt have been contacted. A message shouldve been left on my phone allowing me time to contact them back. Im posting this cause people need to know what theyre getting into with Nissan. First Instance: I booked vehicle at Nissan Alissa Showroom at Prince Sultan Road, Jeddah on 24-6-2016. While booking vehicle, I had been told by sales supervisor that I will get vehicle before Eid (festival) but after follow-up for vehicle, sales supervisor said that he didnt promised but just he said he will try. My Experience: My question is when you are aware that it is not possible then why give false commitment and false hope to customers.Second Instance: When I got sms of registration of my car number plate on 20-07-2016, I went to showroom expecting to get car. Sales supervisor checked his computer and said, my car is at Falisteen Road branch. I have to go there tomorrow before 11:30 AM or else I will not get car. As per his instruction I went. It was 21-7-2016. Delivery staff said my car not yet reached from warehouse and I have to wait. I waited for 5 hours and finally at 3.55 PM my car reached. I got it at 6.00 PM. My Experience: Making customer wait for complete day and waste their time. Their attitude is a customer has to wait, no issue, it is norm. There is no coordination at all between teams/department and no one follows SOP (I doubt, if there is any). Just chaos. No one take a lead to solve customer issue. Just blame other co-workers.Third Instance: I had been handed dirty vehicle. From inside floor was wet, dirty dusty hands prints on car door panel, exterior crevices is full of sand. When asked why its not cleaned, answer is cleaners are lazy. My Experience: No one bother about customer experience and staffs are not trained about their job, which leads to casual attitude towards work. I decided I will never buy Nissan againFourth Instance: Very next day when I try to start the car it was not getting start only clicking sound (as Friday and Saturday service department is closed, I have to wait till Sunday). I went to the dealer. He said I have to go to Auto Star showroom on Tahliya road that is the workshop. I went there. They said battery has to be replaced. My Experience: Speechless!!!Fifth Instance: I had been told that they dont have battery in stock so I have to come next day. I express my disregard then workshop manager told me to wait, he will buy on cash and I can my take vehicle today. I have been waiting. When there was only one hour left for closing, I inquired when will he receive battery. He dial some numbers and spoke to someone and said he cant help me because he dont have petty cash. My Experience: Wasted my time by giving me false information and finally give lame excuse. Battery is out of stock!!! A joke.Sixth Instance: Next day I was expecting call from workshop. I didnt get any call till afternoon. I call them to check. I spoke to manager. He said till now its not ready and he will call me back once it is ready. Alas! Not any call, not even to apologize for not getting vehicle ready. When I didnt get any call for four days, I went and blasted manager he put some local battery and gave me car. My Experience: Nissan has to be one of the worst companies known to man.Overall Experience: Please check picture attached and decide yourself. I even complaint to Nissan Middle East head office, only reply I got is: Greetings from Nissan Middle East FZE. Please note that, we are reviewing your case with our local dealer in KSA and you may expect to receive an update soon. At the meantime, should you require further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us. Not even I got a single call from anybody. I just say if you want to stay happy keep yourself away from Nissan.

$5 fee to pay online? $10 over the phone? I refuse to be charged for something that really just makes their lives easier (paying online cost them a heck of a lot less than them having to pay a staff to receive and cash the checks). Theres no fee to mail a check, so thats what I did instead and I shouldve guessed, they never received it and explained that to me the day after payment was due. How convenient. Now, I have a $25 late fee + a $5 fee to pay it online. Way to go, Nissan. Chalk that one up as a $30 win. Thirty seven lease months from now, you will have forever lost a 28-year-old potential customer for life. I lease $40k+ vehicles, thats at least 50 years of revenue potential pissed away for poor business practices.

We regret dealing with and purchasing from this particular dealership. Our sales guy (AM) was fantastic. Knowledgeable, genuine, got us a deal. 5 stars for him. We do also like the Nissan brand. But the second you hand over the money, customer service stops abruptly and completely. Total breakdown. Something is always wrong or forgotten, every single time. Received a vehicle with no spare tire, broken windshield and peeled off window tint (and some other minor stuff). Now you may think ok, nbd, theyll fix it. Thats what we thought when we accepted the vehicle with deficiencies. And we thought that because thats what they said they would do. But they wont. We have been trying since May 10th....yes, almost 3 months. 3 months of ignored phone calls, not returning messages, having to go in numerous times to see them in person and we are no closer to having any of our concerns addressed.Id advise caution against Mark **, the finance manager. He is dishonest, disorganized and has given us false assurities many times. Him we regret dealing with the most. Id avoid dealing with Austin **, one of the managers. Same thing. Speaking with him can best be described as a complete waste of time. We have decided that we will no longer chase after them. Cant keep wasting time calling and driving over constantly. Weve lodged a complaint with Nissan Canada and BBB so hopefully something comes of that. We will fix the deficiencies elsewhere and pay for it, even though it was threatened that doing that will void our warranty. They love to hold you hostage. Long read, but hopefully it will save somebody from making the same mistakes we did. *If you refer to them, they dont actually pay a referral fee as advertised. That is a false advertisement.

We bought the Nissan Micra in April 2013, in Oct it met with an accident wherein the front was completely damaged and pressure was high. Therefore I want this incident to bring to your notice so that it can be resolved with the compensation. Also on 3rd of Oct 2013 we have given the car to fix at HIND NISSAN at Chandighar and till date it is standing in the same condition without even start repairing of it and the excuses they are giving that brand like NISSAN does not have needful parts available at the showroom. After more than 60 days got to know the exciting news that repair will start on 1st week of December not before and that too if the parts will be available. This is really annoying so please look into the matter and do the needful as your assistance will be appreciated.

I leased a car in July of 2006. I received a property tax bill to pay in January. I got a signed and notarized affidavit stating that this vehicle was used for personal use only and that I did not live in the county where the property tax was being applied. In addition, the county where I purchased the vehicle and also reside does not charge property taxes. The first year was fine. I received another bill the second year and I submitted the same paperwork. NMAC claimed they never received it and that I owed them for taxes. I did not pay for it. The following year, I received another bill. When I submitted the forms again, I was told they could not accept them because I had not paid the previous years taxes. I just recently tried to refinance my home and my credit report is damaged because of this. I have tried calling to clear this mess up and was told rudely that this will not go away until it is paid. I submitted everything the company told me to do exactly and yet, this is still on my credit report. They have been extremely rude and have even hung up on me. I will never lease a vehicle again and I will never deal with Nissan again.

Aug of 2012, I returned a used Nissan Altima that was running terribly to Planet Nissan located in Las Vegas, NV, after having purchased it under 1 year prior. The sales ** thought it would be best to do a trade, the Altima for the Maxima. During the transaction Planet Nissans employee (**) added the best warranty that Nissan sales to my contract. He was slick, he had me sign my original contract that had a smaller warranty but claimed there were errors and printed a second contract with the added hidden PLUS Warranty.Unknowing I signed the contract, but when I noticed, I made several complaints to Planet Nissan, Nissan Financial and Consumer Affairs. I was at a local 24 Hour Fitness jacuzzi venting to a stranger about the treatment I had been receiving. Turns out he was Planet Nissans General Manager. Who also refused to touch this matter. I had no luck resolving this matter therefore I decided to shut up about it. After all it is the best warranty a person could have right? No! Recently, my engine crashed in this 2012 Nissan Maxima at 56k miles. I immediately took the vehicle back to Planet Nissan and within a week I was told that the my Manufacturer Warranty and the Extended Plus Warranty would NOT cover the damaged engine. Why? They claimed there was sludge in the engine which Voids the Warranty Agreement immediately. I was asked by the Service Manager ** and the Sales Manager ** to provide proof of oil changed for 2014. I successfully retrieved the documentation from my credit card company to prove that I have kept up with the maintenance on the vehicle. Response: DENIED. This is the easiest Scam you can pull on a working woman like myself as my only fault here was purchasing a Nissan to begin with.I contacted consumer affairs, a representative called me to discuss this matter however, his entire conversation was No, No, No, we cannot help you. Leaving me without any options and refusing to accept my proof of maintenance on the vehicle. So, I asked him to please investigate this case and consider allowing me the opportunity to have a second opinion as I felt that Planet Nissan was jumping the gun here. Apparently they logged it in Nissans system prohibiting me from EVER having the engine fixed under either the manufacturer warranty or the extended plus warranty. The consumer affairs agent made it real clear to me that no matter where I go in America. The engine will Not Ever be covered, therefore there was nothing Nissan could do nor did he care to take a look at any evidence I had to support the previous maintenance on the vehicle. He made it real clear that he was supportive of Planet Nissans decision without any proof therefore, I was on my own. I took the vehicle to United Nissan in Las Vegas for a second opinion as the Check Engine light is generating these codes: CYL 4 Misfire, CYL 6 Misfire, TW Catalyst System B1, and TW Catalyst System B2. Within 24 hours I received a call back from the service agent ** who explained that the claim was DENIED. He explained that although the technician saw no sludge in the engine that Planet Nissan had reported such and therefore the claim was DENIED. I explained that I needed a second opinion as my car received maintenance regularly and I had proof. He explained that he could not help me and asked me to return the rental car as soon as possible.A day after returning the rental car I realized that I had left my duffel bag full of personal belongings in the trunk and a handicap placard in the rental car provided to me while the Maxima was in Service. Immediately I contacted United Nissan and was told to come and pick up my belongings that they had retrieved it from the rental vehicle. Today March 19, 2015 I went to United Nissan to retrieve my belongings, it was explained to me by ** that it will cost me a total of 12K to replace the engine in the Maxima, My handicapped placard was stolen and my duffel bag of belongings was ramshacked. Im so disappointed in my treatment at Nissan, overall Im disgusted. I dont even expect a resolution from here. Im stuck with a 2012 Nissan Maxima with a bad engine and a $700 car payment. This is pitiful.

Last month (September) I was driving and my car would not accelerate. I took my car to Auto Zone so they could run a test on it to see what was wrong. The code they could not read. He told me to try getting my oil changed (I just got my oil changed July but I did it anyway). My car worked fine for a while. I got to a stoplight and again the car started not to accelerate again. So the next day I had it towed to my friends auto shop. He told me that my transmission had went out. The main issue is that I just had my transmission replaced by Nissan last July. I have a 2015 Nissan Versa.Nissan states they will not replace my transmission because Im out of the warranty. I think this is ridiculous. They can obviously see that there are issues with their transmissions because they have several other complaints about it. I am very upset because I have taken care of my car like I should but it still messed up on me and now I am without a car. I am currently appealing Nissan about not covering my transmission replacement. I should not have to go through this at all.

Three months after we bought our Nissan Versa, we got a call from a very snotty representative informing us that they had given us the incorrect title for our car and wanting us to bring it back (an hour and a half drive one way) so they could straighten it out. The fuel mileage was grossly misrepresented on the vehicle. The sticker said it was supposed to get 38 mpg, and I only get 30 at most - all highway driving by the way.The warranty is worthless - a piece of trim flew off the car roughly 5 months after we bought the car, and shortly thereafter, the plastic fog lens replacement piece fell off. The local dealership gave the run-around, canceling two appointments because they didnt want to have to waste their time with us. Just recently (33,000 miles), we realized that the tires needed to be replaced. We called the dealership where we had originally bought the car and were told that unless we had detailed records showing we had done the rotations exactly per their schedule, we were out of luck. The warranty was supposed to be 3 years/36,000 miles bumper to bumper. What a crock! We were told at the Nationally Recognized Chain store we took it to, that Nissan purposely toes-in the tires on their small cars to make the car seem to handle better than it really does. They had badly over-toed the tires on this car, hence the exxagerrated baldness on the tires.

I have a case # **. I have bought a lot of cars in the past, Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi. I bought a Nissan Sentra because of their reputation. I am very dissatisfied. I do not believe I would be buying another Nissan in the future. I have taken the car back 6 times for the same problem, cracking noise in dashboard. They said they fix it and a week later, it starts again. This time, I am very upset, I took the car to Lake Nissan in Leesburg, FL. I am staying in Orlando for a while. They told me they replaced a broken clip. When I picked up the car, they put some kind of foam around front of dashboard. The foam is sticking out. It does not look very nice. They DID not put paper on floor to work on the car. This is the 6th time I take it to a dealer. I bought a new car not to have issues and this is awful. When I went to the dealership at Lake Nissan in Leesburg, they were trying to get me a new car and get rid of my car, but of course I would lose a lot of money. I was willing to do that if I would just lose $1,000.00 but not $4,000.00. They were very persistent to me leasing a car. I had two employees come and talk to me about it. I feel that they were upset, because like I mention before, they really DID not do a good job on the car. I contacted the state consumer affairs. I do not know what else to do. Nissan 370Z is a great looking car with horrible storage space. Great acceleration but no sunroof, hatchback, and 2 door. Pretty easy to park cause its compact and small. I also like the color -- a silver grey. The body shape is sporty and looks great. I bought the car mostly because of the way it looked and the acceleration and the sportiness of it. I wish that it had a sunroof/T-top. Though those can be a pain in the butt. I hate the headlights. I think they should have been pop ups. I hate the hatch trunk. Nowhere near enough room. Our 2013 Nissan Altima (3 years old), only 89, 000 miles and we have owned for 2 years, the transmission went completely out. We have maintain, like clockwork, all maintenance on this car. If tire pressure light appeared we took it to the DEALER ONLY. This car has only been serviced by the Nissan/Infiniti dealer. We logged a complaint with Nissan consumer affairs and they declined repair and/or assistance with repairs for a major component of the car. Her response because we were 28,000 miles past the 60,000-mile warranty or 5 years, which we are under the 5-year mark, they could not do anything and we are responsible for the repairs. $4500 dollar repair and they refuse to even assist with the repair. We were told by a Nissan mechanic that Nissan is fully aware of the issues with the transmissions in the 2013-2015 Nissan Altima and yet they won’t do a recall or provide assistance to owners. This is heartless and senseless of such a major company. Lost and dont know what to do as this is major, while we are in the middle of planning our wedding, daughter car went out and its the holidays. Real nice Nissan.

When Speaking to Kaysha today, I could have sworn I speaking to a robot but human like. She kept repeating the same Nissan will not cover the repairs you need because your vehicle is out of warranty. In January of 2018, I replaced the turbocharger costing $5200 which included parts and labor. Nissan is really proud of their prices! At the time I was told it was determined that lack of maintenance was the problem. I was not aware that a Turbo Charger needed maintenance and furthermore, They have all the records of my oil changes since I bought the car in 2014 so that could not be the problem. Now, my timing belt broke, damaging the timing belt housing and causing other damage to more parts of the engine. I called Nissan Consumer Affairs to ask them to review the problem once again. They called me back today to let me know that they will not cover the repairs. Once again, I am left holding the bag. I still owe $12K on the car and the repairs will be upwards of $8K. I have been shysted once again. I will never buy another Nissan again. Two is all it takes for me to learn my lesson. I feel stupid for not recognizing their robotic crap before. I am disgusted with Nissan and they will never see me set foot in one of their dealerships again and oh by the way, now with social media running rampant, they should listen more carefully to the squeaky wheel! I wish nothing but the worst for this company!!! They lie and steal from their loyal customers!! And on top of everything, they still have the gall to ask for a rating! Unbelievable! Well, I RATE YOU (ZERO stars!!!). They make you rate at least one star but know this you idiots at Nissan Consumer Affairs, You dont deserve that Star! You are a ZERO star company!!!

Let me start off by saying, I just came back from overseas, and I am now stationed in Fort Stewart, GA. I am looking into purchasing a brand new Nissan Altima. I searched online and made a few stops. I had stopped by your Hinesville store, and saw a car I wanted. I asked them to give me the write up, because I wanted to go through my own bank. A guy there, who said he was the manager, said he would get the pricing together, and give me a call back. I never got any calls, only one from someone named Julie, and she does not know what she is doing. She had no clue I was just waiting for the price. Then, the internet manager from there called me, and I told him that I just got a phone call from his co-worker, and I think no one really wants to sell me a car. On 10 November 11, someone ran my credit with out my permission. I told them up front if I were to purchase a car, I would not go through Nissan. I am not aware what the law is for that, but I am looking into that now. Next, your Savannah store call me (Steven **). He seemed up front, and seemed as if he wanted to really help me. I told him I live about an hour away, and I didnt want to go up there and go through what I did at Hinesville. So we stopped by, and I showed him the car I wanted, and told him all I need was the write up to send to my bank.He talked to his manager, and he came over to speak with me. I explained to him why I wanted to go through my own bank, and he was so rude and had such an attitude. I understand Nissan will make more money if we go through them, but what he wasnt trying to hear is that, I may not get approved through you guys. So Steven told me that his computer was not working, but he would email me the write up, so I can send it to my bank. I got an email Saturday saying, he can send it to me, but we would have to come back. I dont understand why the manager just couldnt give it to us right then and there. I dont live right up the corner, to drive over there, to pick it up. This service is so unprofessional and I dont understand why I have to be treated like this. Is it because I am a woman? Your Hinesville store made me sit there for over an hour, while I watched him help other men. In the mean time, I had 2 infants, and my sister-in-law waiting in the car, right in their face. I have been out of the states for a long time, but I know that this kind of service is not acceptable. Here I am, a woman fighting for someones freedom, who doesnt even have the respect to help me. I am serious about buying a car and they are not serious about selling.I did not allow anyone to run my credit. I told them more than once, I would not go through Nissan. I will be looking into consequences for something like this. I feel like I was discriminated for being a woman. I also feel like someone blew me off, because I didnt want to finance through Nissan.

I submitted an earlier complaint and the complaint was closed after three messages left when my phone number provided was not working (because my home phone works off the internet). My internet was down for a couple of days and towers were not working properly in my area to allow signal to my home. After this was explained, left on numerous and countless messages, emails and voicemails with Mrs. ** with Nissan Consumer Affairs who was handling the case at the time. I received absolutely no response from Mrs. ** and her reply was she no longer handles Nissan consumer vehicle complaints. I spoke with them very respectfully and explained; I will be resubmitting a complaint due to lack of multiple communication issues in not receiving a call back or response from said date 5/7/2015 up to 5/18/2015 regarding the various issues and in the handling of previous Case # **, and how quickly it was closed. The vehicle safety concerns and issues are my number one priority and should be Nissans as well. Mrs. ** responded that will be fine and maybe we can handle it appropriately, readdress issues and concerns, with proper documentation. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO RE-SUBMIT COMPLAINT DUE TO ERROR MESSAGE FROM NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIR REPLYING MY NAME IS WRONG AND REJECT MY EMAIL NOW which reads Access Denied. You dont have permission to access http://www.nissanusa.com/apps/contactus on this server. Reference **I have tried to resubmit the complaint numerous times once again and it is unaccepted. I felt Nissan was not able to make an appropriate assessment and determination based on lack of information theyd received and lack of communication in handling of this matter by the person Nissan assigned to this complaint. New issues have since arise. I am trying to resubmit another complaint too and maybe this time with my personal office number being provided will avoid lack of communication and we can fully address the safety issues I am presently having and been having with this vehicle, 2012 Nissan Versa since purchase date at CarMax in White Marsh. The brake pedal is now fluttering and the seat belt just locks for no reason while driving. My vehicle has been parked and I am driving another family vehicle. In addition to this complaint, I am contacting you because I have been experiencing and have been experiencing serious safety problems with 2012 Nissan Versa Sedan make and model. Although, I realize Nissan makes some of the greatest vehicles. The 2012 Nissan Versa I purchased I noticed has very serious safety issues that began the day I purchased this vehicle at Carmax, White Marsh, MD lot. After pleading with Carmax to take this vehicle back for a year and 1/2 they would not allow me to give the vehicle back to them the day I purchased it. The problems with the vehicle upon purchase of the vehicle were brakes did not work properly at all. Carmax attempted to fix brakes 3-4 times, pedal would not work and often get stuck, defrost does work and takes a very long time and during rainy conditions it doesnt work at all forcing me to roll down windows to clear them, noise coming from around side view mirrors, freezing of both side view rear mirrors during winter and freezes during driving in cold conditions, vehicle is unable to sustain any type of wind or rain conditions and Ive literally shifted into another lane numerous times while driving on the highway, over a bridge, and even on the street, if a truck or someone passes me at high speed 65-75 I easily shift out of lane-position.Paint job was very poor-scratched terribly, body is very weak and fragile, no matter what hits my vehicle a pebble cracked the glass, a slight hit will hugely dent the vehicle and has, rear window in the passenger rear side will not go up and down properly at all. I have submitted endless complaints regarding my vehicle and I am very dissatisfied with this make and model; believe I may own a defective model because there are too many issues with my vehicle. I dont know what happen with this vehicle but the safety issues I experience regularly really concern me and the family I have ride with me. Please let me know what you can do to address these serious concerns. After two years of battling with Carmax Corporate Office for a year 1/2 to take this vehicle back; I am now contacting the manufacturers of this vehicle. The vehicle I purchased is not safe and has not been since the day I purchased it. I have been in 3 different accidents. The first week after complaints were made and I purchased it I was unable to properly brake and ran into the back of the vehicle a week into owning it after reporting the brakes were not properly working. I pulled into a parked car and could not maneuver appropriately into a parking lot and hit a parked car as the pedal locked on me and brake would not work properly. There are multiple dings, hits, scratches, dents because vehicle was not properly painted. A two year vehicle looks like I owned it 20 years. My concerns and safety issues are not being taken seriously and believe if Carmax would have notified you of this something would have been done a lot sooner to address these issues instead of being taken advantage of during purchase of this vehicle. My younger children nor my husband wish to get into my vehicle because the serious safety concerns they have and also experienced with me while riding with me in 2012 Nissan Versa. I think Nissan makes excellent cars. Just this one has multiple defects. Please contact me with ideas or a solution you may have to fully address these issues. I look forward to trying to resolve these issues. Thank you for your time and attention to this complex and serious matter. In kind I have been patience, respectful only to be met with NO RESPONSE and NOW UNABLE TO RESUBMIT COMPLAINT FOR PROPER HANDLING!

I have a 2008 Pathfinder. A few weeks ago the check engine light came on and the fuel gauge stopped working. I checked the web and found a recall from Nissan for 2008 pathfinder that had an issue where the check engine light came on and the fuel gauge stopped working. Perfect I thought so I took it to the dealership. They informed me that even though it was the exact same part for the same make, model and year, my VIN was not covered. So they will not cover the cost to fix. I have owned 3 Nissans and was planning on purchasing another next year. Now that I see that Nissan cares more about $400 than it does about this safety of their owners. I will never purchase a Nissan again. I think they are cheap and dishonest.

I own a 2009 Nissan Rogue and my transmission just went out. I understand completely that a vehicle is a vehicle and all vehicles will have problems every now and then. What I dont understand is why the heck is Nissan still marketing their vehicles with the CVT transmissions? I know a lot of people who owned a Altima, Maxima, Murano and I asked the question of why did you guys get rid of your vehicles? Their responses were they started to hear grinding noises coming from the transmission and the transmission would idle past 2k rpms at a complete stop and once they take off the transmission would change gears so hard that it felt like they were being rear ended and so they didnt trust the CVT transmission and got rid of their vehicle before any major mechanical issues occurred. Three weeks ago I began experiencing the same problem and Sunday June 14th I went to turn into the grocery store parking lot and tried to give it a little more gas and all it did was idle and then immediately my service engine light kept flashing. I had the vehicle towed to a Nissan dealership and it was confirmed my transmission went out and to top it off they are non repairable. So not only do I not have a vehicle but I am also making a very decent payment on the vehicle and my warranty has expired. To everyone out there looking to purchase a Nissan. I highly recommend that you do not buy their products until they discontinue the CVT transmissions. If youre interested in how Nissan vehicles look rather than the quality of the vehicle then have at it. Trust me when I say you will be glad you didnt purchase any of their vehicles with the CVT transmission. I only wish I wouldve done my homework before purchasing my vehicle.
