My credit is good so I financed my new 2016 Nissan Rogue at my credit union
My credit is good so I financed my new 2016 Nissan Rogue at my credit union with no trouble. A couple of weeks later, I mistakenly pumped diesel fuel in my new car. It happened at Sheetz. They say it cant be done and the nozzle wouldnt fit. They finally said it is Nissans fault. Nissan passed me around from one customer service person to another. It appears to be a game with them. They seem to have a lot of customer service people who will call you and ask you a few questions just to have someone else call you. It definitely is a way of looking like they are paying attention to you but the result is they wont do anything to help you. Besides that problem that same day, I tried to use Nissan roadside assistance which I had been told I should have, when it happened. My tow charges were more because they said I didnt have it when I tried to use it and I was forced to call 911. I understand I made a mistake but that nozzle fit right into my car and the only way I saw what had happened was when my car stalled and I read my receipt. Anyway, both Nissan and Sheetz first said they would help but then wouldnt. Dont buy a Nissan. There is no customer service. They will just waste your time. Reference telephone for Nissan **. I think it is time to run these foreign vendors out of the US since they wont take any responsibility for the faulty design of their cars.

Consider this. I have a 2011 Rogue and found out the CVT needs replacing. Since Nissan has created a monopoly around their CVT you cannot find parts to rebuild as you cannot buy them. The only way is to replace the entire CVT which you must purchase from Nissan. Ever wonder how they extended the warranty for 2008-2010 only but did the extension in 2014? They knew that the 2011, 2012, 2013 would all have the same problems. Maybe not enough complaints at that time for those years. So I checked the warranty on the brand new replacement CVT direct from Nissan and installed by Nissan... 12 months/20000kms. Although the exact same CVT on a brand new 2017 comes with 5years/60000km warranty. Read between the lines... Nissan cannot even back their own monopoly on CVT with a decent warranty. What a crock of **. Bye bye Nissan FOREVER. The GM of the dealership wont even return my call, probably because he has no excuses for the crap product the CVT is. Someone start a class action and take Nissan and their CRAP CVT down.

Ive had the privilege of driving 3 Nissans because our family owns 3 models: a Sentra, a Vanette and an Exalta. I first learned how to drive using the Vanette. Simply put, its my favorite car brand. Ive also had the chance to drive other car brands, but I just dont get the same feeling as when I drive a Nissan. Ive been driving for 12 years and I hope that when I can finally afford to buy my own car, therell be an awesome Nissan car waiting for me to buy it. BTW - that Nissan Juke advertisement with the typo was genius. Kudos to Nissan for thinking of something brilliant to promote their SUV. Cant wait to see what they have to offer next!

2005 Nissan Xterra, low miles (less than 60,000). Oil in radiator (Listed on mechanics repair summary). Engine replacement cost $6,000. Submitted claim to Nissan as part of Class Action. Received settlement of $190. Should have been obvious that: 1) Engine shouldnt fail at 60,000 miles (Nissan mechanics have told me that engine is bullet-proof), 2) engine oil in radiator indicates some level of engine failure.

After nine hours at dealership, we got a new car home with no oil and no second key! It was 4 trips again back to dealership to finally get car proper and the key. Then, the finance dept has given me hassle 4 months in a row - promising change in due date every month, then not! I was told by the Finance dept. to call Nissan headquarters to file a complaint so we could trade in the car for another Nissan at a different dealer. It took 3 weeks for them to respond to me! We had to call daily and leave messages to finally get someone to tell us, too bad, sorry cant help you!

I leased a 2013 Nissan Leaf two years ago from Peoria Nissan in Arizona. At the time, the salesman told me not to worry about the battery because Nissan just replaces them if there is any problem. That is totally a lie, and Peoria Nissan will not be of any assistance to me with my Nissan Leaf that has a range now of 59 miles (maybe) in the winter with no heater on. Dont ask about how it fares in the summer - it is ugly to say the least. I now have one more year to suffer through this vehicle because Nissan says the battery charges up to 10 bars and must decline to 8 bars.We know that this does not take into account battery fade - in other words - yes, it looks good when it is first charged, but like all failing batteries, the range quickly decreases as soon as you pull out of your driveway. My lesson in all of this is that Peoria Nissan lies to its customers - yes I know I should not be surprised, and that the manufacturer is choosing to make folks keep a car that simply does not meet the needs stated by the buyer when purchasing the car. I expected somewhere in the range of 70 miles which would allow me to drive back and forth to my work site daily and make a couple side trips as well. This was all explained to the salesman when I leased the car. He is no longer with the dealership. So, I asked if the dealer would work with me on terminating my lease and getting a 2016 Leaf that supposedly had a better battery. Unlike the salesmans reassurances that it was no big deal to end the lease after 24 months, the dealer asked for the entire amount of the last 12 payments and the car. The explanation was that Nissan had changed its lease terms and that the residual value stated in my contract was no longer really valid. The upshot was that for over 900 dollars per month, I could get out of my current lease, turn in my car and get a comparable 2016 Nissan Leaf. Ha Ha Ha. I am laughing only because I am happy to share this saga with anyone who might be foolish enough to trust Nissan and buy or lease one of their vehicles. My advice - just because their contracts are preprinted - insist on adding terms that the salesman tells you in writing and have them initial them. You will then perhaps find out what the real deal is. Thanks for listening.

I bought a brand new 2013 Versa with my hard-earned money. Within the first month, I had to bring it back to the dealer because the lock on the trunk broke and I was locked out of my trunk for three weeks waiting for the right part. My car has already broken down twice due to engine troubles. Thank God, I have the extended warranty. Seven months old and my car is already breaking down!!! Now, I have a rattling sound coming from the engine. I take good care of my car and I change the oil on time. Murano SL model 2017.5 purchased 5/8/17. Failed Forward Emergency Braking. Returned to selling dealership which insisted the computer showed no error. The dealer refused to road test the vehicle. I called Nissan Consumer Affairs. They informed me they could NOT do anything to caused the dealership to honor the warranty. They would not help me find another dealership to help me. I located another dealership who found a computer error and debris on the camera repairing the problem. The car now operates properly. Nissan claims they have no control over their dealers so if the dealer wont honor the warranty the problem falls on the purchaser. The car had less than 6000 miles when this occurred.

First time purchase of a loan/lease. Signed a lease with loan prices ($337 month). Total purchase price 2015 Rogue $34,000. Error was noticed by purchaser same day at dealership. When brought to attention of dealer, more or less too bad. All they had to do was tear up the lease form and attach correct monthly price to a lease $134 month. $14,000 to purchase at end of lease or the proper monthly payment, $337 month with the last payment, vehicle is mine... maybe 10 mins of their time on paperwork. Instead of 23 months trying (by me) to get the thing correct. Notified every agency of the error including THE WHITE HOUSE with no luck. Money hungry (Nissan) outfit. Matter went to court March 2017. It is still undecided.

My 2010 370Z started making a clunk sound from the rear of the vehicle. Dealer worked on it for nearly 3 weeks and eventually told me that the noise is just a characteristic of the vehicle. I asked other 2010 370Z owners if they had the same noise and every response was no. This noise is not normal. I called Nissan Consumer Affairs and they reviewed my case and eventually told me that there is nothing they can do other than extend a portion of the warranty. What good is the warranty if they refuse to fix the problem?

A nice bug, the Micra K12, 2006, 65ps Petrol 1.2 Engine. I have bought this car from Nissan in Germany, at 71.000km, and I drove it for 9.000km. 65ps, manual gearbox, 1,2L petrol engine. 2 doors, in bamboo green. Lovely little bug. I bought it as an emergency need for a cheap car, and I am quite happy with the purchase. So happy in fact, that I decided already to change it with the newer model, 2017, 1.2L 80ps. But back to the K12 bug. Drove it mostly in Berlin, Germany, and occasionally on the Highway, maximum 130km/h due to the noise and fuel consumption, but drove it briefly up to 160km/h... (slightly downhill probably:). Pretty loud on the highway, but perfect for the city traffic. Agile between the city streets and easy to park. A bit of a stiff ride at low speeds, but quite comfortable where the road permits speeds over 50-60Km/h. Feels stable and has some power reserves until 110-120Km/h, at high RPM regime, between 3500 – 5000rpm. It responds well to the throttle paddle. The engine pulls lovely between 3rd and 4th gear, 60 to 90Km/h, it feels quite sporty. The 1st and 2nd gear are a bit slow. Never had any beef with, but yet again, for just 9k it should not be the case anyway. The gear box felt sometimes a bit too long, but it did the job. I would have kept it, but I just wanted the newer model. Overall a good experience. Hope the new model will follow the trend.

I follow-up with the fax to confirm everything was received and it is all in order. I am told all is in order and the request is being processed. A week later I follow-up for status to be told something or other is missing or incorrect. They do not have the courtesy to contact me when they discover the error, they simply throw it out and never inform the customer. I will never buy a Nissan again.

I leased a 2014 Pathfinder May of 2014. My gas mileage was very poor. At 2500 miles, I was averaging 8 to 9 miles to the gallon. The car is rated at 19 city and 25 highway. I mentioned it to the service department and he said I need to get more miles on the engine and that it would improve. Well I dont expect to get 19 mpg but at least 15 to 16 mpg. I now have 11,000 miles on the car and am averaging a big 10.1 to 10.3 city and 12.6 highway. I am not a lead foot driver. I took it to my dealership and they said they would check it out correct any problems they find. After having the car all day, they claim there is nothing wrong with my car. Is 12.6 highway send up a red flag or what. My friend has the exact same car as myself, same model, year, and engine. He averages 15.9 city and 18.2 highway with his a/C on. I mentioned this to my dealer, they said to call Nissan consumer affairs rudely. Well I did, they tried to tell me maybe its the way I drive and look at my book from Nissan to get some tips on how to drive to get better gas mileage. What kind of tips can I get for highway driving? Your foot basically stays in one position driving on the turnpike at 65 to 70 mph. The woman at consumer affairs said to take it to another Nissan dealer for a second opinion and if they find nothing wrong then Im basically stuck with what I have. She also said the gas estimates are just that an estimated mpg. Does 12.6 mpg come even close to the 25 mpg rating of Nissan. If I dont get any solution from Nissan then I will put big lemons on the car with gas mileage I am getting and park it in front of the dealership. Maybe it will get someones attention. Well, thats where I stand at this point.

I purchased my 2017 Nissan Titan with high hopes and excitement but all the hype did not last. The driver seat broke not shortly after I purchased the truck and has been replaced 3 times and is process of getting repaired for the fourth time. It developed an oil leak after around 5,000 miles which was a valve cover and was repaired but now has another oil leak and the truck only has 14,450 miles. When it snow or ices the parking sensors go haywire. The computer had to be reprogrammed for shifting issues. The rear end has popping sound when the brakes are applied and the list of issues continue to grow. I have gotten to the point that I scared to drive the truck let alone have family ride with me in it. I have been in constant contact with the dealership and consumer affairs. I and just extremely disappointed about this $48000 golden covered **. I just hope people think twice and have better luck when it come to this truck.

Purchased date:06/12/2015; Model: 2015 Versa S Plus; Dealer: Imperio Nissan of Irvine, CA; Service Rep: Scott; On November 1, 2016, around 9:50 am, our car was traveling in a very slow speed on an interchange on-ramp from freeway 110 north bound to 105 west bound in Los Angeles County. The traffic was moving in a slow fashion on an uphill on-ramp. As the traffic was getting slower, I gently stepped on the brake to slow down the car. While I was holding down the brake pedal, suddenly I heard a clunk noise and felt a vibration. At this point, the car started moving on its own without a sign of slowing down. I immediately tried to step on the brake with full force but felt the brake pedal having no pressure at all. Although a safe distance was kept from the front car prior to the accident, as the brake pedal traveled down to the floor, the car continued to move closer to the front car with uncontrollable speed. At that time, the only thing I could do was to veer the car towards the right edge to avoid direct impact with the front car. Based on the owners manual, I believed the anti-lock braking system function was being erroneously activated at the time of the incident since the dry and non-slippery road condition did not warrant such activation. And what made things even worse was, for whatever the reason, the car was moving on its own with uncontrollable speed while the brake pedal pressure was completely lost due to a faulty ABS activation, which directly caused the car crash. This vehicle was purchased brand new on June 12, 2016 and a subsequent recall serviced was done on August 13, 2016 from the same dealer following a recall notice with regard to sudden acceleration safety concern. The liability insurance claim was filed for the accident. The mileage was 8740 at the time of accident. The dealer was contacted on 11/7/2016 and the service rep named Scott was refused to take the car for inspection. I called Nissan consumer affair in TN and a on-site investigation and inspection is yet to be confirmed.

I have been reading the problems with the Nissans... WOW... When I bought mine it had 46,000 on it, that was 18 months ago. I dropped my car Nissan Altima 2012 off Monday and since they didnt have it done by Tuesday they offered me a rental for free. It is Wednesday and I just picked up my car. I have had problems with this car from the get go... I am now on transmission #3 in 18 months. They have never charged me a penny and our dealership out here is amazing! I have called Nissan North America yesterday and they said they would call me today by 5:00. I had leukemia and had a bone marrow transplant, the hospital I see my doctor at is 120 miles away. With the first transmission I would be doing approx 75 mph in the fast lane and all of a sudden nothing. It completely shut down. I have been nearly (could have been fatal) car crashes 3 times. You know how hard it is going from the fast lane to the slow lane with no power. Anyway, I feel terrible for you all paying so much money out. I have been lucky, on my first transmission I was 300 miles from the warranty expiring. I wish you all the best. I am afraid to drive my car now. Fingers crossed for Nissan North America.

Bought the used 2012 Nissan Sentra S in July and after starting to drive it, kept hearing a popping and clunking noise coming from the passenger side rear area. Pops and snaps when turning the wheel right and braking and straightening the steering. I have spoken with other owners of the Nissan Sentra and they have the same issues. Some customers have spent lots of money trying to resolve the issue but I think Nissan needs to step up and take the responsibility for a faulty design. Other Nissans owners are having the same issues. Scary to drive and seems difficult to diagnose, but may be coming from the steering or wheel area. Nissan is one of the most crooked companies in the world. Many people do not know that they have been committing criminal business practices for ten years now by fooling consumers with their fancy CVT transmissions that have prematurely failed on tens of thousands of Versas, Sentras, Rogues and other models and it is a disgrace that they have been allowed to get away with this kind of egregious behavior for so long. A class action lawsuit was filed against Nissan, but many car owners never received the details of the lawsuit until it was almost in settlement which settled in March 2020. Sadly this court in Tennessee and all the crooked lawyers attached to this class action lawsuit really received all the benefits of the settlement but tens of thousands of Nissan owners were left out in the cold because they sneakingly increased the warranty to a random 84,000 miles when many many transmissions have failed after that mileage but still very prematurely. I am one of those victims and had I known about the crookedness of this disgusting company I would have never purchased my 2015 Sentra from Hertz. My transmission started showing failure issues at approximately 70,000 miles, but it finally totally failed at 99,000 miles. I only found out about the class action lawsuit because of the research I was doing online and taking the car to a repair service to find out it had failed. I petitioned the court and objected to the settlement, but because there were only a few of us who objected, the judge denied the objection. I am not done with this, but because of the pandemic, I am not able to reach the news media investigative teams to report this crookery. It is an unconscionable act that Nissan has duped 100s of thousands of customers the last ten years. I intend on writing to the newspapers to further expose these crooks. They do not deserve being in business, and if people knew how the company was run and their ex CEO is an international fugitive, people maybe would stop buying their cars. Adding insult to injury I just received a disgusting piece of mail that Nissan has been forced to send to Nissan owners extending this disgusting warranty only because they were mandated to do so. What about the other 100s of thousands of customers who already got screwed? And furthermore, they have made it so repair services cant rebuild them, they have to purchase an already rebuilt transmission probably from a company that is connected to them. The cost is prohibitive for most of us, a whopping $4,000. My poor car has been sitting outside unable to be driven for seven months now and furthermore these cars will have no resale value due to the criminal business practices of Nissan. Couldnt get any worse than this!

Front NS seat base cover keeps coming off. Water leaks into rear OS footwell caused by two seam welds being missed in manufacturing a damaged air vent and dented body panel. Contacted their complaint department and after 3 days they stated that Nissan was not able to help with the situation. Nissan does not stand by their products. NUMEROUS reports have been made about their failed CVT transmission. Very very dissatisfied customer! Was quoted $3500 plus tax by a Nissan dealership.

I purchased a 2014 Nissan Versa Note at Gladstone Nissan. Navigation system
I purchased a 2014 Nissan Versa Note at Gladstone Nissan. Navigation system has never worked right & I spent 5 weeks taking it back & contacting dealership. They never had service handle my complaints but rather had the salesman troubleshoot to no avail. I no longer had the time to drive there & sit & especially since I did not give good survey results on Nissan survey - have been confronted by dealership employees including GM (Why would Nissan share that information that I was promised was anonymous only to be confronted personally & by phone? Nissan failed to honor their word & placed me in harms way. What was the purpose of the surveys - to punish the consumer who answers honesty?). No interest in resolving multitude of problems Ive had with the dealership, including getting my address correct, providing me with promised paperwork, deceptive practices in including other warranties with contract & being uncooperative in cancelling the contracts (see Edmunds.com consumer reviews - this is their standard). Worse yet, there are 2 recalls already - not even a month old. Nissan Consumer Affairs is a big waste of time & patronizing - they claimed they could not consider more actions because I do not have documented return visits for the car (once again, the dealership at fault) & did not return the car for recall campaigns (I did some 3 weeks prior to CA claim) at a different dealership. They have no course of action intended apparently except to not help the customer - who buys a new car which does not work as promised & identifies problem immediately. The other dealership ordered a replacement navigation system, except that they cant get them in because it is too new a car. So how am I to resolve a problem with a new car which Im stuck with when there is no one in the hierarchy of Nissan NA taking responsibility for their cars, dealerships and customer satisfaction promise? Now the ceiling in the car needs repaired. I would not recommend Nissan because they fail to support their guarantee and do nothing to resolve problems with their dealerships & car defects. I have logged some dozen hours in calls to no avail. I have new car payments on a limited income, poor health & a navigation system I purchased to navigate in a new area to get to many medical appointments/tests. Consequences of buying a Nissan: I have a new car that has a navigation screen that has pop-ups that block all visibility of the map & have expended hours lost, on the side of the road trying to clear it, and deteriorating health as a result. I have spent hours trying to contact third party vendors to cancel non-negotiated contracts & updating my mailing address because of incompetence & unethical designs of dealership. It is helpful to share my plight in social media to warn future buyers to steer away from the Nissan Versa Note, Nissan N.A., Gladstone Nissan, so that my experiences are not repeated.

I bought a new vehicle to replace my old one which was destroyed in an accident. Bought a Nissan since the last 4 cars between my wife & myself have been Nissans & they were all pretty good. Bought the car May 31 14 & by November it was completely dead. Long story short, it is presently at the dealership for the 6th time & still not fixed. It has been there for 3 weeks & they dont even return my phone calls to update the status. I had an oil change on 9/24 & they phoned me the next day, & followed it up with 2 e-mails asking about my experience, but they wont fix my car or keep me in the loop! I got on the dealerships chat line this afternoon & Donna promised to have them get back to me & also promised to e-mail me a transcript of our conversation for my records. She did neither! If this company had a spread of decency they would be ashamed!

Paint is flaking off the front quarter panels, hood, area around the windshield, and the roof. Paint bubbles up and then flakes off. I have called Nissan Consumer affairs and was told to take it to a dealer for a diagnosis and then call them back. They said that they hadnt had a lot of calls for this problem on a Pathfinder. I have seen several complaints on the internet about this same problem in the exact same places on the vehicle. I am taking it to the dealer for their diagnosis and will call consumer affairs to see what can be done.

Nissan complaint: Where do I begin, well let me start by saying the car buy
Nissan complaint: Where do I begin, well let me start by saying the car buying experience was amazing and the sales representative was amazing. Fast forward 71 days and the nightmare begins. So I bought a brand new 2021 Nissan Rogue in January and of course it was still cold. However as it warmed up and I needed to use the AC I realized the drivers vents would blow warm or room temperature air while the passenger side would be freezing cold even when set to the exact same temperature. I called Jack Ingram Nissan in Montgomery Alabama where I purchased my car and advised them of the issue. They set an appointment for the following week for me to bring the car in to be fixed, or so I thought. When I dropped my car off I was told even though I brought in an SUV they would only be able to put me in an Altima, though I was disappointed I went with it. To my surprise when I reached the vehicle I was to use it was filthy! Being that we are still in the midst of a pandemic I went back in and refused to take that vehicle. They then Provided me with another Altima. The next day I called 3 or 4 times to see what had been done to fix my car. Finally around 3 pm I received a call saying they could not detect any issue and that I could come and pick my car up. I was told that the temperature shown was not per vent, but the temperature in the entire car. This didnt seem accurate because one of the selling points was the dual climate control, but it was a Friday and due to the size of my family I couldnt afford to be in the loaner car any longer. So I went and picked up my car... I tried to chalk it up to maybe the car didnt do for them what it had been doing with me. When I pulled out of the dealership to head home, the drivers side was blowing heat to the point that I began to sweat. I made a U-turn and went back to the dealership and demanded to speak with someone to show them what was happening and see another vehicle like mine do the same. After waiting 15 minutes, the representative came out and witnessed exactly what I was referring to and to my surprise he seemed surprised which makes me feel like my car hadnt even been looked at in the 2 days it had been there. We then sat in another Rogue to see if this is indeed normal and what do you know the other car did NOT have the same issue proving that this is not normal for this make and model. They sent another representative out who appeared to be a manager and he proceeded to insult my intelligence by insisting it was operating as it should. I told them both that I was not satisfied and I would like it fixed. His solution was for me to turn my driver temp down and passenger temp up which made both sides blow the same temperature. I advised them that that was only a bandage not a solution. I bought a new car and I expected it to operate as it should. The representative then offered to reopen the ticket and assured me that he would be reaching out to me with a solution by Wednesday. WELL TODAY IS THURSDAY! No word from Jack Ingram. I called Nissan yesterday evening and filed a consumer complaint, the rep called today and said that Jack Ingram would be calling me within the hour to set up a time for my car to be reevaluated. That was 4 hours ago. At this point I dont know what to do, but I do know that I will never do business with Nissan and definitely not with Jack Ingram if they do not resolve this matter! On a lighter note the sales team there is amazing and after speaking with the sales manager. I will hopefully be able to have a SUV as a loaner whenever the service team can get it together and FIX MY CAR!

I have recently had a terrible experience with my 2009 Nissan Rouge CVT transmission and working with the Nissan customer service you should know about. This issue is not new to Nissan. In fact Nissan extended the warranty to 10 years 120,000 miles. However, they never notified customers about this issue until they start to having a problem. Our problem came at 123,000 miles. If you go to Nissans website http://www.nissanassist.com/ProgramDetails.php?menu=2they state that they will provide financial assistance for those customers who may be beyond the warranty period. Nissan just called to tell me that they will not provide any assistance. What a crock. I came to find out that many people who own a 2009 -2013 Rouge or Murano will have issues with their CVT transmission. For those who own Rouge or Murano made between 2009-2013 have your transmission checked out before the warranty expires.

Have been ripped off and treated so poorly! I paid for a brand new Nissan Ultima. Before it had 30,000 miles on it the thing over heated three times shutting down on the side of the road! A fire started under the hood. They would not even come and get me or tow the car! I had to pay for it even though I got roadside service! When I called for help they said I wasnt eligible then the next day they said they wouldnt refund the tow! Then the heater broke! They said they found the problem and fixed it but when it broke again in two weeks they refused to even look at it saying nothing was wrong with it to begin with and they couldnt spend money to keep trying to fix it. They never fixed it. They kept saying it was fine. LOL so patronizing and unhelpful. I wear coats in the car now. I applied to Nissan corp for help. They stalled me two months then said no. Dealer only said the repeated overheating and fire was a bad alternator that we should have caught but they wouldnt replace the car or engine. On a NEW car??? Other shops now tell me the heater malfunction is due to the critical overheating and that many other systems will be significantly damaged. I asked what are the specs on the heater: they said, Ohh we dont have any. Lemon laws are useless if they can get the thing to drive off the lot. Shame on them. I was ripped off. Karma will get you boys.

Catalytic Converter went out and caused damage to the Engine. Let Nissan look at my car one day. Engine light was on. Could not find problem. Took car out and air conditioner not working! Only blew hot air! Had to pay over $500! Left car at Nissan. Kept given different dates to pick up car. Nissan claim they were waiting on parts, and kept my car for 6 weeks! Was given a free rental car under the warranty. Cannot drive rental car for my job! Lost six weeks of wages.

Never ever will I buy another Nissan. Let me share my experience with you.
Never ever will I buy another Nissan. Let me share my experience with you. I was happy to lease my new Xterra last fall (8 months ago). However, they never sent me billing info or statements; yet, they began harassing phone calls immediately. I mean 8-10 calls per day and mostly from people that spoke very broken English. I would state that no payment book was ever sent nor any statement sent to my address. This was the case for the first three months. And yet, the harassing phone calls continued as well as late payment fees. I even drove to and spoke with the general manager at the Nissan dealership where I leased the vehicle. He stated that they had had many complaints about Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp from customers. My newest issue was this month when I moved into a new home and was also traveling for work (June 2012). Because so much was going on, I forgot to send out the payment the first of the month, and the harassing phone calls began immediately. Im not talking 3-4 weeks late. Im talking 7-10 days late and phone calls all day, every day, including weekends. I called Nissan to pay for this month and next and they told me that I have almost $500 in toll-booth violations I have to pay. This puts me over the edge. One, I use toll highways maybe once or twice a month. If that, two, I have EZ Pass and it comes right out of my account. After speaking to several reps who speak very limited English, I am put on hold for 20 minutes and am eventually disconnected. I called back and went through the entire experience again and finally got to speak with a supervisor. I tried to explain my situation after again giving all my info (which takes an eternity) and the supervisor begins talking over me from the very first moment, arguing and questioning everything I am saying. She will not listen to anything I say and tried to argue with me, basically calling me a liar. This continues until I can take no more and I snapped.Advice: regardless of how much you like the Nissan vehicle you are looking at purchasing, dont buy a Nissan. I have owned dozens of cars and have never ever had a negative experience like this from day one. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Most unprofessional people/organization I have ever had to deal with!

I brought a New Leaf on 2nd May 2014. This car is supposed to go 170 Km on a full Battery Charge. My new car will only do 90 to 100 Kms. on a full charge. It has been back to the dealer 3 times for repair. The Head Office of Nissan will not honor the Warranty, as they say there is nothing wrong with the batteries. Their Sales Booklet and internet says should get 170 kms on a full charge. I paid $39,000 cash and would like my money refunded. Head Office in Melbourne WILL NOT CHANGE THE BATTERIES.This car does not perform to what is printed in the Booklet. This car was made in April 2012. Held in storage at Brisbane until sold. The Batteries are 2 Years old when it was delivered to me 4th June 2014. Compliance Plate was Dated May 2014, but the car was over 2 years old then. I expected to buy a 2014 produced Car not a 2 year old one. If then it is sold next year it will say it is 3 year old. I consider that it is false sales to me [not a 2014 model car]. I think Nissan Australia should take the back and Refund me my money.

Been taking my Nissan 07 Pathfinder with 47,000 miles to the dealership for maintenance since I leased then bought it. Over two to three years Ive been reporting a sound coming from the car as I accelerated up to 25 then again at 40 mph. This problem was never resolved because it came and went and it almost never surfaced when I would bring the car in for maintenance. They would tell me its the heat shields and tighten them but the noise would return. I had scheduled a 45,000 mile maintenance and on the way to the dealership my engine began to rumble then the service engine light came on where. I was told by the adviser that a coil and a platinum spark plug needed to be replaced to fix the engine misfire. I was given a loaner and they worked on my car for two days. I got my car back and everything seemed fine, the engine light was off, car was smooth. A little more than a week later after I dropped off my wife at work, the engine started to act up and rumble and engine light came on again. I was not far from the dealership so I decided take it in. All of a sudden, halfway to the dealership, I cannot drive past 25 mph and the car starts to make the noise its been making when I accelerated to 25 and 40 mph, the same noise Ive been complaining about for about 3 yrs and now its amplified. I told the service adviser about the incident and told it could possibly be the catalytic converter which is covered under warranty until 2015 by federal emissions law so it would be no cost to me to be replaced. I needed to go to work so again I was given a loaner and the job took two days. I received a call from Nissan and was told that the catalytic was very clogged and parts broke off damaging the engine and it was going to cost $6,600 or more to rebuild or replace the engine. My warranty inconveniently expired three months ago. How can this happen to a car with low miles and with an excellent maintenance record? Shouldnt Nissan be responsible?

Most horrible experience I’ve ever had buying a car. The dealership wasn’t the best to deal with but the fact that Nissan itself is selling cars that it is knowingly putting out there that the transmissions aren’t going to work or last for even the life of a loan is absolutely pathetic as the transmission has now went out in my 2016 Nissan Sentra and I still owe over 15,000 on the car. I have no warranties to help me. It’s not part of the lemon law. Why? I don’t know. It’s built the same year those transmissions where nobody can explain to me why it’s not part of the lemon law and what makes it even worse Is one we were being sold the car. That’s all they sold was the transmission and how this new transmission was going to revolutionize the industry. I wouldn’t fill that shift, my fuel economy would go up etc. etc. and from day one it’s been nothing but a nightmare. The dealership nor Nissan has been willing to help me. I had previously owned Nissan’s and got 300,000 miles out of them that’s why I came back to you guys after this purchase. I will never even look at another Nissan again regardless of maker model.

Which to me is confusing if your consumer affairs say the CVT is under warranty until 2019 or 120,000 miles I have not exceed either. Ive never had a car with this amount of issues even when I was buying used cars. I never owned a Nissan and with the experience Im having and the issue Ive had in the past I will never purchase or own one again. I cant tell you how disappointed I am with Nissan Consumer Affairs regarding a problem we have experienced with our 2005 Nissan Murano. Im referring to Case ** in which they told us that our car needed a transfer case replacement. Although the Murano is 9 years old it only has 24,900 miles on it. Nissan has quoted me $3,200 to fix this problem. I contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs (a gentleman named Will) because I did not feel a transfer case should go out after only 24,900 miles on it, even though it may be 9 years old. He claims they looked into this issue and offered to pay a token $500 towards the $3,200 repair bill. This seems extremely low, and that Nissan feels no responsibility for the mechanical failure of their cars. When I asked what would cause a transfer case to go out, Will told me he did not know and maybe we did not drive it enough, which seemed ridiculous. He then told me I had 30 days to either use the $500 or lose it. I told him I really did not see any option here since the car can not be driven. He however said I did, we could just walk away from it and that some people with 180,000 to 200,000 mile choose to walk away versus pay for an expensive repair bill. I told him our car with 24,500 miles versus 200,000 was a big difference. He said it was his job to relay this statement. We have had several Nissan vehicles and until now I have been very happy with them, however after this experience, we will be hard pressed to say a good word about Nissan and any responsibility towards the reliability towards their cars. This is a faulty mechanical equipment problem, not a time issue. Its obvious No one at Nissan Consumer Affairs cares but after this experience, I will never purchase another Nissan vehicle, nor will I probably ever use their Service Dept again. Extremely disappointed in Nissan!!!

I acquired my 2015 Rouge SL (premium package) this Spring. It has now has 3,000 miles on it and it has been in the Nissan shop for a new computer system and a new transmission thus far. It was in the dealership shop from May 27th -June 18th. I was told my new transmission was on back order until mid July. When I requested that they then needed to take back my new car and exchange it for a new one because they have had it for over 30 days, Nissan mysteriously bumped up my car in line and it was completed on the 18th of June making it only 22 days. I requested that they replace my car as it is obviously compromised and defective. It is not running at 3,000 miles. How am I to expect it to run at 70,000 miles? They said no. I then requested a 150,000 mile bumper to bumper extended warranty to ensure it would continue to run. They again said no but offered a 100,000 mile warranty that only covered the transmission, not the defective computer system, etc.. Again I say how can I count on my car to run at 70,000 or even 50,000 miles when it doesnt run at 3,000? There are multiple things wrong with this car, including the extremely expensive computer system that they are not addressing. The Nissan Corp has been extremely difficult to work with and they refuse to take back their defective product or stand behind the product.

Payment overlooked due to family health issues. The outstanding balance was paid for earlier this year (2016) through your collection agency and payment confirmed by Nissan Finance. I am still getting letters and calls from Credit Risk Management Canada Ltd. asking for payment. I was told by your finance department to resolve it myself with CRM. (How rude and arrogant.) I have been wasting my valuable time dealing with various people regarding this issue. I find it very disturbing that your finance department would not contact the credit agency to confirm the payment. If the calls and letters continue from Credit Risk Management, I will be contacting my lawyer, as I feel this is a form of harassment. I am now on my fourth lease with Nissan and do not expect to renew or purchase with Nissan or Infinity in the future. Your finance department staff are uncaring, rude and condescending and have left me very dissatisfied and angry. UPDATE - Its now Feb 2017 and not one follow-up call or apologies. Myself and a few family members of mine have driven nothing but Nissans for the past several years. My moms first Nissan was an 01 Altima. She drove it for 5 years and 230k miles with nary an issue. Her next vehicle was an 06 Sentra. Another five years, another 230k miles with no issues. Her current vehicle is a 2011 Sentra that has 215k miles. The only major repair has been the crank sensor. She had such good luck with Nissans I decided to purchase a used Versa Hatchback. It had 26k on it when the ex and I purchased it. I commuted with it for three years and traded it in at 140k miles (due to personal issues) with no issues.I drove a 13 Versa for a year until I was rear ended and it was totaled by a drunk driver. I accrued 52k miles on it with no troubles. After that I got a 14 Sentra 6 SPD. I drove it for a year and accrued 45k miles on it with no issues. I found myself needing a truck so I traded it in for a Frontier. Ive had it for two months and 8k miles and am extremely happy with it. I plan on keeping it for a long time. The point is you will occasionally get the troubled anomaly, but all in all Nissan makes a good product.

I bought my new Nissan in 2007, and has no problem until now with my CVT transmission @ 121.800 miles. I was concerned because I was over the extended warranty of 120,000 miles. I contacted Nissan affairs and open a case with them explaining my hardship of repairing the transmission of $4,300 stated from one of Nissan advisors. I was asked to provide the name of the advisor, location of the dealership, and the amount quoted. And within 24 hours, I would be contacted regarding a decision of if they can or cant help with this matter.Glory be to GOD. I received a call in 24 hours from the same advisor that quoted me the $4,300 dollar a day before stating Nissan will take care of the cost of my transmission which has 0 miles and I would only have to pay the labor cost and I also receive a warranty... I believe Jesus touched somebodys heart at Nissan Consumer and I thank JESUS for it. The labor cost is between $1,000 - 1,500 dollars but Im trusting that it will be fair. To say Im disgusted would be an understatement. On Saturday when I tried to leave my house my car was humming and driving slow so I assumed the oil was low. I went to have the oil changed and it drove fine for the rest of the day. Monday it started acting up again so I added transmission fluid and did some research online and noticed that Nissan was extending the warranty on the CVT transmission (obviously others were having issues). Im being told now by Nissan that my warranty is VOID since I added transmission fluid. Really?? First of all no one even contacted me. I had to find out when the car starting acting up by doing my own research. If you are shopping for a car DO NOT get a NISSAN. The way they treated me today was horrible. Nissan Consumer Fair showed the worst customer service today, but I guess they carry themselves the way Nissan does.

I learned there is a recall on my transmission that went out 3 months after I purchased the car. I called Nissan North America and they told me I could not get any assistance in getting my transmission fixed. They said because I had a salvage title and non Nissan parts on my car. That was a lie. Then they told me it was because I am out of the mile range. I have documentation when I was in mileage range of the replacement that there was nothing wrong but needed a flush. Went and got one and then they documented that it needed a new one.Their store told me call them. They should help me replace it. I called and they said Sorry you are over miles. Cant do anything? The worst possible customer service ever. I would never purchase another Nissan again. Horrible!!! Nissan is so great and backs their products up. Well I surely am not seen it. There are many complaints about this and theyre doing nothing. It should be illegal! I guess it is going to take someone getting seriously hurt or killed in one of these cars for them to want to do anything. Very disappointed in Nissan!!

This is Surya. Experienced Nissan Versa for the first time and it was an horrible situation to drive on the interstate which is very uncomfortable. The pick up is not good and the transmission is BAD that you can feel like jumping when gears changes even though its a automatic transmission. If you are driving in a hot sunny day forget about air conditioning, because it doesnt work even if you switch to high mode. Finally I had a real bad experience in Nissan Versa because of Hertz (Car Rental).

Do NOT buy a Nissan. They made good on a car with faulty brakes that almost killed my daughter and gave me a Platinum Service plan. Then after 18 months the plan stopped being honored and when I call Nissan Consumer Affairs to correct the situation, they tell me the plan does not exist. Buy a Toyota or a Honda and hope they are more honest with you.

This is a reliable vehicle. It is small and has a sporty feel but still feels safe. It handles well & acceleration. The trunk area is quite small but I can fit a surprising amount of stuff in the car with the seats down. One of the most important features I was looking for this time around was a vehicle with AWD. I found my previous car slip-sliding around in the big rainstorms we had over the last few years and I wanted to solve that problem for a safer, less-stressful commute. The Nissan Juke has good gas mileage, comfortable seats and good power uphill (my commute home includes a long trek into the foothills). My major complaint is the small gas tank! I have to refuel multiple times a week for commute. Stil, I would recommend this car.

I hate my 2007 nissan sentra so much. It started with transmission problems. I had to get a new transmission for which they paid for. Second the axle broke in front. How can an axle break after only 50,000 miles. The dealer accused me of hitting someone. The front in of the car was not damaged. I DID not hit anyone. They would not cover this. My car constantly makes a loud wailing noise. This was all within a year of buying the car. Would never buy a nissan again!!!

Nissan vehicles have extensive issues that require multiple services and repairs. I have spent over $6,000 in service and repairs from the last 12 months alone and Nissan keeps giving an excuses as to why this and that is not covered. Nissan Consumer Affairs said I should have an unlimited service repair but may or may not cover anymore engine issues. Im still within the ten year/100,000 miles engine warranty and yet providing more excuses to cover cost. Im trying to get Nissan to actually repair something in the engine that prevents the vehicle from being driven, but they are getting behind to complete any repairs with a thousand dollars or more. All of this has been a battle to get anything covered or paid for. All I want is for Nissan to actually cover their faulting vehicle.

I bought my 2011 Rogue in 2014. Loved it for a couple years. Once it hit 100,000 miles it was one problem after another. One of the rear locks didnt work anymore, my air conditioner went out but the most expensive and frustrating thing was the CVT transmission went out at 112,000!!! WTF?? And they cant be rebuilt, you have to buy a new one directly from Nissan... $4,100 later my air conditioner goes out the next week. Luckily, someone ran into us and totaled the vehicle before I had to spend the $300 to fix this. Stay away from any vehicle that has a CVT!!!

Ive been dealing with the same issue for over a year and a half. Every time I call to see if they have fixed the problem (after they have told me it will be fixed), they havent. I dont understand how a business can run without doing their job. Ive called at least 15 times and have been told every time it will be fixed. Ive even asked for a call back every time; not once have I gotten one back. After a year and a half, NMAC has impacted my credit score. I planned to purchase a home in September 2013 but will not be able to. My quality of life has been diminished severely due to this issue. I have lost sleep thinking about what NMAC has done to my credit and how I will have to pay for NMACs fault for years to come. I can honestly say I have never thought a car purchase would negatively impact my life like this. I can only imagine how many customers Nissan is losing due to NMAC.

On January 15th, 2015 I met with Internet advisor of Nissan of Duarte to trade in my 2012 Prius C for 2015 Leaf thinking I was going from hybrid to electric. What was I thinking? I traded in my Prius for 2015 leaf. When I left dealership leaf wasnt fully charged I was given option of taking my Prius home and to have leaf delivered next day. I figured Leaf had enough gas to get me home and I could charge it the next day. Boy was I wrong. As I was driving approaching Burbank the gas bars kept going down which forced me to exit freeway and head to Glendale Nissan hoping I could charge vehicle... Unfortunately it is 11 pm and dealer is closed. I am stranded with brand new car alone in front of Nissan dealership. I had to contact Nissan roadside assistance to tow vehicle to my home. I got home past 2 am frustrated and exhausted I had to miss work the next day.The whole process of charging vehicle at home only works if you have your own place, if you rent like me it is simply not practical. I had to go to dealership near my home to charge vehicle daily. This car only allows you to go so many miles without requiring recharge, not worth it if it is main car in your household. 3rd day with this car and I had to call AAA again because me and my spouse were stranded at gas station after going to a theater 15 miles away from home car required charging again pathetic. On 4th day I contacted Internet representative from Nissan of Duarte and demanded something to be done. I couldnt be stuck with a lemon on a lease for 5 years and in spite of everything I was willing to do business with Nissan. I returned Nissan leaf on 1/18/15 and leased 2015 nissan altima and after having car for 4 days only I was stuck with 10000 negative equity on top of 24000 for Altima lease for 5 years. I am paying almost $600 month for an Altima and after recently contacting nissan consumer affairs I was told that nissan of Duarte followed proper procedures. Talk about complete rip off. Beware false mileage advertising of leaf and company that doesnt stand behind its products. The worse part this is 2nd vehicle purchased at this dealer but after going through depression and all stay away if you can therere better cars in the market. My ratings below pertain to Leaf.

It all started on July 6th when we took our 2014 Rogue (which was purchased in 2015) in due to damage to the clear coat. If you are not familiar with clear coat it is the top protective layer applied to the paint job. The damage was caused by bird droppings. We had a car detailer look at it and he informed us that if the dealer attempted to buff it out that it would scratch the paint because the clear coat was so thin. When the car was taken in to the Nissan service department in Duarte, Louisa the body shop manager and Paul ** the sales manager were informed of the situation. When the car was ready for us to pick up (7/10) we found more damage done than when we left it. Over spray on the tail lights, roof rails, side, rear, and spoiler.Since then we have talked to GM Matt, Consumer Affairs and will be calling the BBB. It has been over a month now and we are still in a rental car because every time the vehicle is supposedly ready they seem to find new ways to damage the vehicle. The car is now at the 3rd party body shop which last time we checked (8/10) left spots on the interior seating and shifting counsel. Before going to the body shop the dealer in Duarte scratched the paint trying to do a quick buff job like we warned them not to do. Then when they finally broke down and decided to clear coat the entire vehicle like we requested from the start, they ended up scratching the window frames and still left over spray on side mirrors and tail lights. The car is no longer new thanks to their lack of understanding and attention to detail. We have totally lost enthusiasm in owning our Nissan and feel like our joy of buying a new car and the hard work that went into it has been robbed from us. Then another sales manager called us in and offered us a newer model with a higher monthly rate to help resolve the issue, which just enraged us even more for wasting our time and again being misleading. Never again will we be fooled by Nissan, and the word will spread.

I came across the mission of your company on your website. Since months I have serious and justified doubts on this mission. Let me explain: My Nissan Trail (1 year old - warranty) that I bought last year in January 2016 in Windhoek, Namibia has been under repair since 27 August 2016 until today (!) after an engine jamming. A long story of promises by the local Nissan dealer has been culminating in a statement by the dealer last Monday, 6 March 2017: We are sorry the engine has no compression and we have to bring it back to repair to the engine workshop. So I am waiting now for more than 7 months for my car with now not any prediction when it is going to be ready. And if it is could Nissan warrant that it is functioning? Engine repair is not standard anymore in Europe, but is overtaxed to customers in Africa. All this questions and more in detail I addressed in a written complaint to Nissan South Africa with not any answer so far. I hope you can address this mismatch between your mission and my experience as soon as possible. A frustrated customer.

This is the first time I have purchased a Nissan. I am pretty sure I will never again. I have been to the shop numerous times for things that should not be happening in the first year. The underneath trim which is supposedly useless has fallen off twice. My brakes squeaks (which I dont understand why) never had another car that did unless brakes pads need to be changed. Oh and that has already have been done. The wheel well had to be replaced twice as well.Along with all the starter issues. Seems to me that pieces of a brand new car that has been repaired twice on two separate pieces should not be falling off. And for Nissan not to care that I have been to the dealership as often as I have. I think I have been there way too often for my liking. Very disappointed in the things happening to this car and Nissan reaction to my concerns is so concerns of theirs. When I first purchased the car another customer by the car talked so highly about Nissan in general so I was excited to have a good quality car and that is far from what I have had since purchasing.

We bought the Nissan Micra in April 2013, in Oct it met with an accident wherein the front was completely damaged and pressure was high. When it banged the other vehicle however AIRBAGS for the driver seat did not open. It should have opened that is the reason we bought this airbag feature to save the life for thatperson whose driving however it did not met with the expectation and it could have been caused a LIFE. Therefore I want this incident to bring to your notice so that it can be resolved with the compensation. Also on 3rd of Oct 2013 we have given the car to fix at HIND NISSAN at Chandighar and till date it is standing in the same condition without even start repairing of it and the excuses they are giving that brand like NISSAN does not have needful parts available at the showroom. After more than 60 days got to know the exciting news that repair will start on 1st week of December not before and that too if the parts will be available. This is really annoying so please look into the matter and do the needful as your assistance will be appreciated.

I purchased a New 2016 Nissan Rogue with 3 miles on it on December 13, 2017 from Clay Cooley Nissan in Irving Tx, 3-4 months into the purchase I start having an issue. While driving the O/D light comes on by itself, the RPMs rise, the car revs high and drives rough. I have read it is a possible transmission or computer problem. I have taken the car to the original dealership of purchase and another one to get checked out. They both claim they have driven the car, hooked it up to their machines and dont see the error. But as soon as I get the car back the issue repeats itself. They told me I need to bring the car to them when it happens which is hard because it happens at random on my way to work, school, and other daily activities. The dealerships are either too far to make it or outside of normal business hours.I complained and reached the sales manager J **. He prompted me to come down and they would trade me out of the vehicle into a new one and keep my payments the same! A complete LIE, I get there and they pump me up, “This is going to be painless. We will get you in & out,” and start asking me for a money for a down payment and try and put me in an Altima which is not what I purchased originally. After getting upset, I leave in the same messed up car. NO HELP. Just a full tank of gas and one of the managers says, “Well the car still drives so just keep driving it and when the error happens switch the gear. Itll go off.” So he wants me to pay for a car that is clearly giving me trouble and just drive it and jerk it around and keep rolling! Then says drop it off at service when I just picked the car up. How many times do I have to leave the car and be without a car to drive? I am disgusted and disappointed by the service I have received. This was my first time treating myself to a NEW car and it was a complete mistake. I hate Nissan. The car still has the issue, nothing resolved.

With MUCH regret, my husband and I purchased a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder from Pinnacle Nissan in Scottsdale, AZ. I went to that dealership November 2018 thinking I was going to get a Black Friday special, but instead got ripped off. The salesperson stated the pearl color would be an extra charge and we agreed to pay the extra. When I came back to pick the vehicle up because they had to order that color they said, a pure white Nissan Pathfinder was waiting for me. I argued back and forth with the sales manager at that time, and he stated the vehicle I was receiving does not come in Pearl white. I mean they got their sale, so who cares about the color right? I wish to God, I would have just walked away, but I drove off in the white Nissan Pathfinder. In addition, we thought we were purchasing an extended warranty up to 100K miles the reason our payment was outrageous. We were ok with that knowing we would have coverage for a while. The finance guy also talked us into some paint package. I returned to Pinnacle about a year or so later (it should be in the records) to get the paint touch up coverage (not sure of the exact name). We were not given any instructions other than we have that coverage and weve never purchased it with any other vehicles. So, I pull up to the service dept at Pinnacle and was met by the rudest person Ive encountered in a while. He said your car is dirty! Theres a car wash down the street! Go and come back! Well, I was under the impression they would wash it at the dealership, and I was in a hurry on a Saturday with a lineup of errands. I did as he barked out for me to do and returned the vehicle. Pinnacle, please work on your customer service! Its important! I then visit ABC Nissan in Phoenix, AZ in 2021. The second row would not collapse, and we were told it was not covered by the warranty. What? A 2018 with coverage up to 100K miles? Well, guess what, we are NOT covered up to 100K miles. Not sure how we got swindled into paying an outrageous car payment with little to no warranty coverage? So, I call my nice “go to” service advisor Tyler at Coulter Nissan in Surprise, AZ immediately tried to help me and said he could do a one time goodwill coverage. I didn’t go to him in the first place because I was close to ABC Nissan at the time and somehow thought I would receive good service at any Nissan dealership! Tyler is SO awesome and is the ONLY one who represents Nissan well. Tyler said that ABC Nissan could also use the good will coverage so I wouldnt have to move my car from ABC to Coulter. The salesperson at ABC was horrible and kept quoting different pick-up times for when the vehicle would be ready. This was very important as I was traveling from Phoenix back home to California on tight time restrictions for work. The manager at ABC Nissan, Anthony **, finally intervened and tried to hurry the techs along as the salesperson shouldnt have called and said the vehicle was ready if it wasnt! I was in tears and extremely frustrated at this point as I was given 3 different times the vehicle would be ready. Anthony gave me money to go get lunch and to stall for the technicians to hurry and finish the job that was promised hours before my arrival. After several months, my daughter noticed a bolt sticking up in the seat and the seat belt would not work! We were not surprised there were more problems with this Nissan vehicle! I took the vehicle to Pedder Nissan in Hemet, CA. The technician/manager there stated the bolt was never put back properly by ABC Nissan! Whhaatt?? How dangerous?? ABC Nissan must have rushed to get the car out and carelessly did not put the bolt back properly. I should have taken pictures, but Im sure Pedder Nissan has some. The tech at Pedder was kind enough to fix the bolt at no charge. They provided good customer service as I showed up with no appointment and he got me in quickly.More problems with this new Nissan Pathfinder! Apparently, there is some known CVT issue with the Nissan Pathfinder. This issue/dash/radio would go in and out in my vehicle and was random when the dash/radio would work. I took the vehicle to Temecula Nissan where Alex Campagna assisted me. Apparently, Alex was not aware of the CVT issue? He told me they could not help me unless the dash/radio was actually not functioning at the time the vehicle was in their possession. Of course, when I took it to Temecula Nissan, the dash worked fine. I drove away from Temecula Nissan with no resolution! I go to visit in Phoenix again and I can ALWAYS rely on Tyler at Coulter Nissan. He knew exactly what I was talking about before I could even get it out good! He immediately helped me and was able to charge a minimum fee to fix it. Whenever Im at Coulter and dealing with Tyler, I always feel safe and do not worry about getting taken advantage of! Tyler is just a good person and a good representation of Nissan. I shouldn’t have to go to another state to hope for good customer service from a Nissan dealership! I wish I had purchased our recent vehicle from Coulter, but thought we were getting some special deal at Pinnacle. Worst mistake of our lives! Maybe some internal training is needed throughout Nissan for consistent customer service, complete/accurate work, and knowledge of recalls! I would love to have the Pearl Nissan Pathfinder I originally hoped for, but in the meantime, Tyler has helped make my regrets of dealing with Pinnacle Nissan, ABC Nissan, and Temecula Nissan a little better.

I know I am the bone head for waiting this time endurance but I wanted to find out if anyone would answer. Coming from a Loyal Nissan customer FOR ELEVEN PLUS YEARS, I am disgusted at their lack of care and concern for issues that my recent lease CAME WITH. I just signed this lease, trading in my old one at the end of May. I will NEVER go with Nissan again after my recent experiences with the Patchogue, NY Dealership and Consumer Affairs absolute lack of care and effort to mend anything. Problems at the dealership level have left me going to Consumer Affairs which were of no further help at all. They act as if all of this is out of their hands and there is nothing to do to reassure their efforts at trying to make me satisfied. They cannot get one person on the phone to speak with me. I have had issues regarding my new 2018 lease 3 months in, leaving it in the shop to be repaired with NO ETA of time it will be done (because items are back-ordered) and ready for me to drive again. Though they did mention maybe some time in October... awesome because I dropped off my car on 8/27. I also only get this info through voicemails because every time I try to call back it goes to voicemail and I wont receive another call until they have their scheduled time to call me back. Horrible customer service and quality of care.My new lease has a safety brake issue where the auto safety break will go off when no one is around, breaking my car while going 40+ mph. Apparently this is a VERY COMMON issue (talk about safety) with ALL Nissan models starting with the VIN K. So Id check your VIN because I am sure if you dont say anything about it, they wont either. I have also had the issue of my backup camera lagging and freezing as backing up since the beginning. There was no point to even use it because it was inaccurate and dangerous to do so. My radio has also just decided to black out one day for a good 10 minutes. Couldnt do anything about it. This is my THIRD time back to the dealership where they finally kept the car to fix it fully, even after showing them video evidence of my experiences the second time I went back.Patchogue has provided me a loaner of not even the same model or year of my current Rogue lease. Which is fine and I normally wouldnt care, BUT at this point, still paying for a new lease yet driving around an older vehicle for over a month has me fuming. I have been polite and patient up until now. The back and forth phone calls that go nowhere are leaving me stressed and in disbelief with this company. I am in shock and SO dissatisfied with all this new 2018 Nissan Rogue and Nissan Customer Service has come with. This is my fourth Nissan, third lease. I have NEVER had an experience like this. I am beyond shocked and pissed.

I contacted Nissan on 12/4/18 and spoke with Stacie from Nissan North America regarding my transmission going out! She asked that I take the car to the dealership and have a diagnostics done and they will review if the car could be considered to be repaired by Nissan. Stacie, called me back within hours after learning my car was there and told me, there was nothing she could do, because the car was over 60K the allotted mileage to be considered an option to cover the transmission per Nissans guidelines.I contacted the dealership and spoke with the service manager and he told me, I missed the cutoff by 125 miles for consideration for Nissan to repair the transmission. Stacie, lied and never mentioned the 120K cut off... She deliberately did not share that information. She did not try to help, she’s a liar and my car is sitting at Nissan and my car isn’t fixed! I am going to make it my business to pass on the deliberate deceit received by Stacie at Nissan North America... Stacie the rude, obnoxious liar can be reached at **.

Stay away from Nissan. We purchased our certified pre-owned vehicle 8 months ago with 6,000 miles on it, and have had the check engine light come on 6 times. Each time, the Mass Air Flow Sensor being the error code. The dealership fixes it, but yet it keeps becoming a problem. The last time the check engine light came on, it stalled on the highway, nearly having us smashed by a tractor trailer. Yet, the dealership and Nissan continue to give us the run-around and refuse to cancel our loan, or provide us with a reasonable remedy, even after a formal complaint was filed. Do not buy any vehicle from Nissan.

Bought brand new 2015 Nissan Rouge. My tail light has been repaired 3 times due to condensation and currently not fix costing me gas, time, and unwanted mileage. Each time I have to take it to the Nissan Dealership, currently around 357 miles put on going back and forth. File complaint asking them buy back suv or replace SUV, and they said no and set up appointment number 4. If I wanted a problem SUV I would of bought a used one, since lemon law requires 4 attempts to fix it. I cant do anything but put up with the lies they have told me, therefore for all the stress, time, gas, money and mileage I give Nissan a negative 0. Will never buy another Nissan. Since I cant submit this without a star being check I will check 1, but I stand by my negative zero

I purchased a new Nissan pathfinder in 2005 and I did just had issues with it at 87k miles transmission broke and Nissan didnt want to take responsibilities for the repairs so I had to fix it myself. Exactly one year later the radiator broke and leaked coolant to the transmission and transmission broke again. This time Nissan said OK we are going to give you a free transmission, but we have to install it. I paid Nissan 4k dollars to install the transmission and 6 months later I had problems with the thermostat and I decide to exchange it and I promise to myself that I will never buy a Nissan vehicle in my life again. In the past I had purchased Nissan Sentra, Pathfinder 97, Armada, Nissan pickup hard-body and I just have Toyota and Chevrolet, and I am very happy with my vehicles.

I financed a Nissan Juke 2011. I was always on time with my payments, never missed one payment for almost a year and a half. Finally, I was able to pay it off with an overage. When I called the first time to inquire about wheres my money, Ive been told that it takes 21 days for the AR to process this. Well, its been a month and I still didnt get anything. Im forced to call customer service every other day to hear the same thing. They dont know where and why. Its not fair. They charged me 6.9% for the loan, but they have my money for a month free of charge. Who knows for how much longer? I even spoke to a supervisor who was rude at times, telling me that the exact sum should have been sent. But he still didnt tell when will I get my money back. I will not be dealing with them again. Such a waste of time, money and energy. I would not recommend it to anyone.

I bought a 2008 Nissan Rogue brand new on Christmas Eve of 2007. The transmission went out on the car in July of 2010, at 100,000. I was almost hit and killed by an 18-wheeler. Nissan claims the transmission fell apart and after several months, said they would replace it at no cost. In February of 2012, my Rogue began to show the same signs of failure that the first one did and I took it to the dealership once again to have it inspected. Approximately 8 days later, the service department informed me that the transmission would in fact need to be replaced again with only 66,000 miles on it. I phoned Consumer Affairs and they have been no help! I have written Mr. Carlos Ghosn a certified letter and he has been no help! Why won’t Nissan just admit my car is defective and make an attempt to remedy the situation?

I had bought in May 2014, a brand new 2014 Nissan Sentra and it went bad. It had a major computer problem, factory glue leaking through the headliner, stitching unraveling from the fabric, and black paint coming off the radio console and Nissan bought it back with an intention for me to buy another, called a buy back. And then I bought a brand new 2015 Nissan Altima in Sept 2014 and the transmission went bad at only 5,000 miles, the cotter pin in the axle had to be re-tightened, the radio has static, there is a popping in the Bluetooth, and the speaker lid popped up. There is still static in the radio and there is still popping in the Bluetooth in the Nissan!!!! And Nissan says thats a normal operation. You have to be kidding me!!!I will never buy another Nissan. I dont recommend a Nissan to anyone. It was and is an awful experience. Nissan has stressed me out beyond belief. I had to go back and forth to the Nissan dealerships at least 20 times. Can you imagine two BRAND NEW Nissans going bad within six months? Nissan is not the same brand that it used to be.

I called back the next day and was informed it was a verification check. I felt embarrassed. Nissan Motor Acceptance didnt leave a message on my cell which is the first contact number. I believe references shouldnt be contacted unless a payments missed, emergency, or to locate the whereabouts of the customer. Nissan Motor Acceptance is actually the billing department. My first payment isnt due for another 34 days! Nissan already sent a letter informing me of the billing department and online options to manage my account. My reference shouldnt have been contacted. A message shouldve been left on my phone allowing me time to contact them back. Im posting this cause people need to know what theyre getting into with Nissan. Just think if a payments late how theyll respond!

As a woman having heard of the many poor business practices against woman in the car dealership and services centers, prior to taking my car in for a scheduled oil change I contacted the Lancaster Nissan Service Center and posed the question if they would perform an oil change on my vehicle if I purchased my own oil and oil filter. I was informed by the gentleman over the telephone that Lancaster Nissan does perform oil changes for customers who bring in their own oil and oil filter and was quoted a price of approximately $16.95. Having scheduled the appointment online and being quoted approximately $89 (with their oil and oil filter), after calling and verifying that I could purchase my own oil and oil filter, I emailed the person who sent me a confirmation of my scheduled appointment asking that a note be made that I will purchasing my own oil and oil filter approximately 5 days prior to my scheduled appointment. I arrive for my scheduled appointment and check in with the representative at the service desk and inform him that the oil purchased and oil filter for this appointment are on the floor on the passenger side. He informs me that the price of the oil change will cost approximately $15 plus tax. I inform him that I am aware as I had previously called and that I would also like to have the old oil filter returned to me. His response was, Ok whatever you say. Although I did not inform him of why I wanted the old oil filter returned, the purpose in my doing so was to ensure that it was indeed replaced. I handed the representative my keys only for him to return approximately 10 minutes later informing me that he was just told that Lancaster Nissan does not perform oil changes unless the customer uses their oil and oil filter. This was puzzling as I previously called to inquire if it was possible and received a quote, and also upon checking in, the representative quoted me a price with me having brought in my own oil and oil filter as well. He indicated that the owner just informed him of this. I asked to speak with the owner whose business card reads General Manager, and he indicated that this is their policy. I asked the owner to see the policy in writing and he informed me that they do not have it in writing as they have never had this type of issue. I asked the owner how it was that I called to inquire of the practice, emailed a representative who sent me confirmation of my appointment, and was also quoted a price at check in upon informing the representative where the oil and oil filter was, that now, all of a sudden it is a policy that cannot be produced in writing. His response was that they have never had this issue arise which is very hard to believe, being that Lancaster Nissan Dealership/Services Center has been in Lancaster for many years. The purpose of this review is to make woman aware of this poor service provided by Lancaster Nissan Services Center, in Pennsylvania and the false representations of their alleged policy which the owner could not produce in person. Although I have a copy of the service agreement I was asked to sign to verify the services I requested which note that I purchase my own oil and oil filter, I am unable to attach it as I am not savvy with technology. However, I am willing to take a picture and email it or mail a copy if requested.

My daughter purchased a 2013 NISSAN SENTRA in November of 2013. In May of 2014, out of nowhere, the car transmission started slipping after 10,000 miles. She immediately took it to her dealership and they proceeded to diagnose the problem. I was advised that there have been some problems with the CVT transmissions, but they were working on them. Once sending proper testing documents to Nissan, the dealership replaced the transmission. It is a major concern of ours that the same year transmission was put back in the car, after being advised that once the transmission is replaced there were very few problems with them.I thought that since Nissan was confident in their product, that there wouldnt be any reservation in extending the new transmission warranty. Not so. Unfortunately, she will be losing 10,000 miles on the transmission warranty as it will run at the same time as the whole power train warranty, 60,000 miles or six years. Maybe they arent so confident in their product after all, nor am I!!!! Will not be recommending Nissan to future buyers.

My son purchased a 2014 Nissan Altima with 36,000 miles on it. He has owned it for 2 weeks. He was suppose to have Powertrain warranty that went with vehicle till 2019. The CarFax said it was leased to private owner in 2014 till 2016 then sent to auction in New Jersey. In which another dealer purchased it. Then my son purchased the headache. The car had blue smoke coming out of exhaust so we took it to Nissan to look at. The service department said it was sludge in engine and the vehicle had no maintenance done at all. But Nissan wanted a pic of oil pan and valves before they would decline to have it repaired. My son paid 200 for this to be done then Nissan decline repair because of neglect. The Nissan dealership knew when vehicle was brought back from lease that no maintenance was done so they passed it along to auction so someone else could deal with it. Now son has car with no warranty.

When Speaking to Kaysha today, I could have sworn I speaking to a robot but human like. She kept repeating the same Nissan will not cover the repairs you need because your vehicle is out of warranty. In January of 2018, I replaced the turbocharger costing $5200 which included parts and labor. Nissan is really proud of their prices! At the time I was told it was determined that lack of maintenance was the problem. I was not aware that a Turbo Charger needed maintenance and furthermore, They have all the records of my oil changes since I bought the car in 2014 so that could not be the problem. Now, my timing belt broke, damaging the timing belt housing and causing other damage to more parts of the engine. I called Nissan Consumer Affairs to ask them to review the problem once again. They called me back today to let me know that they will not cover the repairs. Once again, I am left holding the bag. I still owe $12K on the car and the repairs will be upwards of $8K. I have been shysted once again. I will never buy another Nissan again. Two is all it takes for me to learn my lesson. I feel stupid for not recognizing their robotic crap before. I am disgusted with Nissan and they will never see me set foot in one of their dealerships again and oh by the way, now with social media running rampant, they should listen more carefully to the squeaky wheel! I wish nothing but the worst for this company!!! They lie and steal from their loyal customers!! And on top of everything, they still have the gall to ask for a rating! Unbelievable! Well, I RATE YOU (ZERO stars!!!). They make you rate at least one star but know this you idiots at Nissan Consumer Affairs, You dont deserve that Star! You are a ZERO star company!!!

I had to go through the Philippines Call Center for about 3 weeks - back and forth - over 15 calls. This was only to find out that it had to be handled through the United States. At that point getting in contact with my Nissan representative was extremely difficult. I still have an open issue and will keep posting on social media until this is resolved. Such a poor system. I really believe we are doomed as a society after this experience. It started when the dealership in CT (Crowley Nissan) failed to provide me with a rental car after communicating to me twice that I could receive a rental car.I am a small business owner that works with the disabled and it nearly knocked my business out. I am very dissatisfied (obviously). They have already wasted my time that I wont get back - but I am still trying to get them to compensate for the rental car. I could take this into litigation - which I have made them aware of - but I am trying to mediate and be fair here. If anyone has any email addresses for upper to senior management for Nissan North America - or even beyond - please let me know.

BUYER BEWARE. We set our payments up on auto draft, but it didnt work. We had no idea the payment wasnt being made until it was too late, and now its tanking our credit. We could have paid outright for the car, but financed it for the sole purpose of increasing our credit score. We began getting calls from Nissan shortly prior to the payment being 30 days late, which sounds like they were doing their due diligence, correct? Wrong.Their calling system is antiquated and set up exactly like someone committing identity theft, like the spam calls everyone gets numerous times per day. We had no way of knowing it was a legitimate call because sometimes wed answer and it would automatically disconnect. Wed call back. Sometimes it would answer and automatically disconnect, sometimes an automated system would ask for our FULL social security number (not just the last four of our SSN) before agreeing to connect us to a representative. Considering we thought we were set up on auto draft, therefore thought our payments were being made, and were getting calls from an automated system claiming to be Nissan, at times disconnecting when we answered, at times disconnecting when we called back, and asking us to enter our full social security number when we got through, it all seemed sketchy. It would not be difficult for anyone attempting identity theft to figure out we are making payments to Nissan, call us under the guise of Nissan, and ask for our personal information. Considering the circumstances, we legitimately thought these were spam calls. Furthermore, we received no written communication from Nissan letting us know payments werent being made, and no phone calls from a live representative. Just sketchy automated phone calls, like the numerous ones we get each day that are spam.My husband finally decided to figure out what was going on and called the dealership where we purchased the car. We had an incredible experience with them when we bought the car, which is the reason we bought a Nissan in the first place. The finance manager called the number with my husband to verify whether or not it was spam. Thats when we realized these calls were legitimate, our payments werent set up on auto draft, like we thought, and we had a payment over 30 days late. We explained our situation, brought our payments up to date immediately, even paying extra, and they submitted our account to the legal and credit department for review, to hopefully reverse the negative mark on our credit. Not only did they not reverse it, the customer service supervisor I spoke with when I called to find out the status of the account was incredibly rude and disrespectful. In all my years of talking to customer service representatives, some are fantastic, but she was among the worst. Degrading words, degrading tone of voice. It still astounds me that she spoke to me the way she did.I wish I would have read all of the negative reviews regarding Nissan Finance before we financed our vehicle. Like I stated before, we could have paid cash for it, but decided to finance it for the sole purpose increasing our credit score. At the very least we would have financed it through our own bank, it was just easier the day we purchased the car to go ahead and finance through Nissan. BIG MISTAKE! We aren’t done fighting this. If there is a resolution other than our current situation I will update this review. I’m not looking forward to the hours we are going to have to put in to correct a situation that wouldn’t exist if Nissan Finance operated like a company that legitimately cared about its customers, like Honda, Toyota, etc. etc. Again, BUYER BEWARE! If you finance through Nissan, get ready for a rough ride. Keep track of your auto drafts – DO NOT trust that the system will do what it’s supposed to do. And if you happen to have an issue to work out be prepared to be talked to very disrespectfully.
