I was really concerned after reading reviews online. I mailed my payoff and it did not show up online for the first week. I called customer service. The rep was very nice and very reassuring telling me it usually takes 2 weeks to process and that the title can take approximately 45 days. True to her word, the payment was posted during the second week. The pleasant surprise was that I received the title the following week.

Back on April 25th 2020 I traded in my Nissan Rogue sport at rt 46 nissan in Totowa nj. I leased an Altima. I find out at the end of October that the paperwork was not done and they say I am delinquent on my rogue. I have been going back and forth with the dealership and nissan corp for 2 months. They have destroyed mine and my wifes credit and it is December 29th and the problem is still going on. I will never buy a nissan again and I wish I could get rid of the one that I have now. If anybody needs a new vehicle I would not suggest 46 nissan or nissan corp at all.

I bought a new 2014 Nissan Versa SV. The automatic transmission would not shift properly during accelerations. The accelerator pedal had to be goosed to force the transmission to shift to safe RPMS. I took the car back to the dealer and they informed me that Nissan does not repair transmissions. They will only replace with new transmissions. Nissan Corp. shipped to the dealer a rebuilt transmission. That transmission continued with the same identical problems as the original. I took the car back and the dealer and was told the transmission was low on fluid. The same problem continued. Approximately 8 months later that transmission stopped working on a major freeway during rush hour. The dealer replaced that transmission. The dealer and the Nissan Corporation informed me that the transmissions were not new but rebuilt ones. The car now has 50k miles on it and I continues to have the same shifting problems with the transmission. The Nissan consumer affairs division and the dealer began to show an attitude of frustration when dealing with me on this issue. They began to avoid me. I am too frustrated to chase these people down to get what I paid for. I feel I have been scammed out of18k I paid for piece of junk. I will never buy another Nissan product.

In March of 2012, I purchased a new 2012 Nissan Versa sedan. I paid cash for it. In September 2012, I struck a deer while driving. My insurance company and body shop determined just over $7,000 in damage, not totaling the car. Within two weeks, the body shop had completed all repairs except replacing the backseat, which had been ordered from Nissan shortly after the accident. The body shop and I have been in constant contact with Nissan trying to get an estimated date of arrival on the seat. Nissan has no information except that the seat has been ordered. It has now been almost 8 weeks that I have been without my vehicle. The insurance only covered the expense of a rental car for 30 days. I was told by Nissan to contact Consumer Affairs regarding this matter.

I am an owner of a Nissan Murano 2012. I had my transmission replaced at 74,734 miles it was under warranty then, I now need another transmission at 115,943 miles which is 41,209 miles later. Nissan has agreed to assist me with 50% of coverage for the replacement of a new transmission. I really think that a transmission should not go bad after 41 thousand miles. Nissan has been very unprofessional through this entire process something need to be done about Nissan transmission issue, I normally dont publically review however after reading the reviews and having the same issue happen to me I had to let someone else know. I am still paying a car note on this vehicle and now I have been hit with this costly repair bill. Please investigate Nissan for these faulty transmission. Nissan need to take responsibility.

I took my 2008 Nissan Rogue to get new tires. When the tire shop took the old tires off, they discovered that the tire pressure sensors were corroded and loose and couldnt be tightened. Their policy is that they cant replace the tires without replacing the sensors because that would be disabling a safety feature. So, I had them replace the two worst sensors at a cost of $300.00, more than the cost of two tires, and put the new tires on. The other two sensors were corroded also, but they could still be tightened. Upon leaving the store, I went to the Nissan dealer to see if I could get some compensation for this because the car was only 4 years old with 59,000 miles. I was told that I couldnt because the work was done somewhere besides the dealer. I had no choice but to get the work done by the tire shop because they couldnt send the car out the door with the safety feature disabled. Next I went to a Consumer Affairs website and found out that there was a recall on 2008 Nissan Rogues for said tire pressure sensors. The service manager at the Nissan dealer never mentioned this recall. I then called Ken **, the GM at the Nissan dealer, explained the situation and mentioned that I knew about the recall. At this point, he said the recall was VIN specific and that my vehicle was not covered. Obviously, if my vehicle isnt covered, it should be because the problem is the same as the one covered by the recall. Shouldnt I be compensated for the cost of the sensors and have the other two replaced at no cost?

Nissan is one of the best vehicles I have ever owned and just recently bought another one like it because I loved the first one so much. It is a Nissan king cab with lots of room. I got it for a fairly decent price and I was lucky to find it. It was just sitting on the lot and it took some haggling to get the dealer to come down where I could afford it. It has everything I need. It could use more technology but that would be distracting. It is a great little truck and will be for a while.

I contacted Nissan customer care. I currently own a 2013 Xterra Pro4x with 66,000 miles. I have driven manuals for 30 years. First clutch burned out 35,400. Second clutch was looked at in a dealership service at 63,000 miles. Was told clutch looked perfect, drove perfect. Had a smell coming from the clutch. 3,000 miles later driving at 60 mph in 5th gear, the clutch blew up. Sounded like an explosion followed by sounds of metal fragments rolling around inside. Nissan required a dealership to look at it. Their conclusion is the driver error caused the clutch failure.Ive never had to replace a clutch before 90/100k. Ive heard from other with the Xterra and Frontiers of this exact same problem happening. Now Im hearing if the transmissions going out at 76,000 miles. They are wanting $2700 to replace a clutch that is sure to fail again. Something is causing these clutches and transmissions to fail. So many mechanics and friends are telling me to get rid of the car ASAP. Lesson learned do not buy Nissan. Nissan does not stand behind their product.

I recently brought my vehicle in to be serviced due to some noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. After looking at the vehicle I am told that the rear end pinion bearings have gone bad, and that the pinion seal is also leaking and is described as a nonreplaceable part - as such, the rear end assembly needs to be replaced for a cost of close to $4000. Note, I do not have a trailer hitch, and do not tow anything. This seems like a very extreme repair for a truck with mileage in the 80k range - and would seem to be a reflection of the poor quality and craftsmanship when it was built. Ive regularly taken this vehicle to the same dealer service department for previous repairs, oil changes, etc.- there were no previous signs or indications that this would be an issue.

I purchased a 2010 Nissan Rogue used with 31,000 Miles on it. I have owned it for 18 months. Last week the sending unit tore up and caused my engine to blow up. The car has 61,000 miles on it now. I called Nissan to get the history on this car and they told me that in Jan 3013 that a report was made to them that there was sludge found when oil was changed. They wont send me this report and the extended warranty I bought is also refusing to pay. Please never buy a Nissan! They dont stand behind their products. Any advise?

Overall experience of buying car was ok. When we were checking out the new car, I noticed dust in the engine compartment and requested that they wipe it clean. The salesman promised that they will take care of this during the detailing process. I did not check when I took the possession and later found out that it was never done. I emailed him with no response, meanwhile he keeps sending me emails about giving them a positive review. They gave me one wrong key for the car. I am trying to contact them to fix the key issue, NO response back from the dealer for over a week. Still waiting. Opened a case with Nissan Customer Service. Took them over 10 days to respond to say that they cannot do anything about this. Only thing I can do is take it to the dealership to evaluate the issue. Dealership is 100 miles away and no reimbursement of travel expenses.

Financed a 2013 Altima SV. From the get-go I had signs that CVT transmission is bogus. Getting onto the highway it would rev up to 5k RPM and not shift up every now and then. AC went out around 70k mls, would only work when Im driving. Then around 100k mls the transmission started having issues. Vehicle would just die when I come to a red light or stop sign every now and then. Then it got worse - if I slow down and do a california stop the rpms would drop below 1k and engine felt like it was going to die. Then finally vehicle just died when I came to a stop sign. I turn it on, runs fine, I put it in gear and it dies. Just jerks forward and dies. Brought it to Nissan dealer. They said needs transmission - not telling me what actually failed in the transmission. Mechanics do not know anything about transmissions. They rang up a $4500 bill for a new transmission. I could not afford this bill and they ended up getting me into ANOTHER CVT Altima. When I clearly told them I do not want a Nissan CVT but they said that is the only thing they can do. Without any other means of transportation I had to take this deal in order for me to keep my job. After getting a unwanted second CVT Altima - I started asking around. One of the mechanics told me you are suppose to change the transmission fluid every 6 months. Another mechanic told me its a sealed transmission and you shouldnt have to do anything to it. Another told me check it every now and then. Manual says to check it at 60k. None of the mechanics or service advisers gave me same story.Vehicle put me in danger by shutting down with 18 wheelers behind me honking at the green light. Vehicle is dangerous to drive as it is unstable in windy weather. The hood itself looks like its going to fly away by all the shaking its doing when you are driving on the highway. Now Nissan holds NO VALUE! Nissan corporation floods the market with cheaply made vehicles that break down and MAKE you get into another Nissan. The Nissan I got into 2015 was priced at $25,000+ retail. 4 months later with 13k mls - its worth $13000 at best. Now this is a $12,000 value drop in 4 months? Really Nissan? I ended up taking a repo on this POS. And guess what? When you tell Nissan you are doing a voluntary surrender - they put you on an hour wait or just hang up. They were so quick to take my money, but when I want to give them their POS back they drag it out. Come on Nissan. This is no way to treat your customers. No wonder your power train warranty is only up to 60k mls. Because you know your vehicles will not stand the test of time. Nissan is here for a quick buck. They put you in a vehicle that breaks down or loses value so quickly that you are always upside down. So you are either stuck financing another Nissan with a discount or taking a repo, or if you are lucky paying it off and dumping it as quick as you can. I was a loyal customer to Nissan for over 3 years. Never missed or was late on a single payment. Mandatory service at Nissan dealer and your vehicle breaks down at 100k? Your stickers should say Dont plan to drive this forever. Clean up your act Nissan. Teach your mechanics how to service your transmission properly or replace them when they break down like you expect. Nissan, you lost another loyal customer and I will never buy a Nissan product again. You should be ashamed!

I experienced lie upon lie when I purchased my 2020 Nissan Altima at Thruway Nissan in Newburgh NY. Now, a year later, I’ve noticed my FM reception is on occasions full of static. Initially, upon a service appointment, I was advised all was fixed with a computer update. Not so! The problem continues as my car made a repeat trip to the dealer only to be told that there is no problem with the antenna or connections. They refuse to replace the radio even though it’s under warranty with less than 10k miles! Buyer beware! Buy elsewhere.

I brought a New Leaf on 2nd May 2014. This car is supposed to go 170 Km on a full Battery Charge. My new car will only do 90 to 100 Kms. on a full charge. It has been back to the dealer 3 times for repair. The Head Office of Nissan will not honor the Warranty, as they say there is nothing wrong with the batteries. Their Sales Booklet and internet says should get 170 kms on a full charge. I paid $39,000 cash and would like my money refunded. Head Office in Melbourne WILL NOT CHANGE THE BATTERIES.This car does not perform to what is printed in the Booklet. This car was made in April 2012. Held in storage at Brisbane until sold. The Batteries are 2 Years old when it was delivered to me 4th June 2014. Compliance Plate was Dated May 2014, but the car was over 2 years old then. I expected to buy a 2014 produced Car not a 2 year old one. If then it is sold next year it will say it is 3 year old. I consider that it is false sales to me [not a 2014 model car]. I think Nissan Australia should take the back and Refund me my money.

Since the economy fell and a serious health issue in our family, we have been making payments but have been struggling. We receive several harassing calls every hour about a payment. Nissan 370Z is a great looking car with horrible storage space. Great acceleration but no sunroof, hatchback, and 2 door. Pretty easy to park cause its compact and small. I also like the color -- a silver grey. The body shape is sporty and looks great. I bought the car mostly because of the way it looked and the acceleration and the sportiness of it. I wish that it had a sunroof/T-top. Though those can be a pain in the butt. I hate the headlights. I think they should have been pop ups. I hate the hatch trunk. Nowhere near enough room. 2 weeks ago I had a problem with my Nissan Sentra which I bought in 2015 brand new. The problem was about the transmission system. Whenever I drive my car I felt some noise at low speed and increase with speed increase. I reported the case to Nissan service centre in Sultanate of Oman Azaiba branch. After their diagnosis, they confirmed the transmission issue and informed me that they will send the report to insurance company as I had 5 years extended warranty. 2 days later I received a call from Nissan service saying to me that warranty didnt approve the repair and no realistic reason was provided to me. I was very upset how such company is playing with our trust. I now understand the meaning of cheap treatment and products offering. The people from the service centre looks to be trained more for sales than customer support. I am still waiting for Nissan to check what other option is available to fix my issue. But it looks that I will have to pay from my pocket. The next option I have is to file a case against them in court. My company policy is to buy a car every 160k or 4 years. I bought already 2 cars from Nissan and this one will be the last one for sure.

I purchased a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder in October of 2008, with about 20,000 miles from Stockton Nissan. About 3 years ago the VDC Off light came on. I took the car to Stockton Nissan to have the transmission flushed and asked them about the light (The car had less than 60,000 miles at the time). Was given an estimate of $1500 for the ABS Actuator Sensor/Pump and $600 to install for a whopping total of $2100.00. I declined because other than the Idiot lights the car runs good and the mechanical gauges all check out. Then the BRAKE light and ABS light. Then the check engine lights started coming on and off and the speedometer and odometer would go on and off with them. However, my car registration is due in December of this year so I need to smog it. I took it to a shop and they charged me $400 to replace the speed sensor on the right front tire. It smogged, but 400 dollars later I still have all of the Idiot Lights off and no speedometer or odometer. I have contacted the Nissan Consumer 800 number 3 different times. Nothing was done. This should be a RECALL since other Nissan owners are having the same issues. I guess since it is not a SAFETY ISSUE, Nissan can get away with ignoring this issue. This is my 4th Nissan AND WILL BE MY LAST NISSAN, unless this issue is addressed by Nissan. By the way, this is first review/complaint I have ever written.

This is a warning to all potential Nissan customers/owners. Nissan had my Son pay $130.00 for a diagnostic check to see if consumer affairs would fix his transmission that gave out exactly one year after purchasing his car from Paul Blanco dealership. Consumer affairs of Nissan denied his request for repairs due to my Son had too many miles on his car 11k to be exact. Instead of telling my Son this in the beginning, they took my Son $130.00 and went their merry way.I dont understand how a company can do so many people wrong. It is evident that there are issues with the transmissions to Nissan but no one is stopping to see why. I am frustrated to no end as a Mother watching her single parent Son pay for a vehicle he cant drive and if he turns the car back in gets a repo on his record. I needed to write this comment on behalf of my Son. We definitely would hate for someone else to have a similar experience. I pray God will vindicate my Son and the rest of the Nissan customers that have been bullied and robbed by Nissan. Thank you!

The repair center also said the man who sold us the vehicle no longer works for them and its normal for the brakes to squeal on a new vehicle. I initially took in my 2008 Nissan 350Z roadster convertible to Tony Nissan to have them repair the convertible roof because it is not fully closing into its compartment. They looked at it and eight hours later, said that they couldnt find anything wrong with it. They even showed me that it was working before leaving.Later that day, I wanted to test it out for myself. And much to my dismay, the same problem occurred. Being busy with work, etc., I wasn’t able to take it back in immediately. I was under warranty and thought I had time (my mileage at the time was under 36K). When I took it again (about a month and a half later) stating that it was not fixed, they tried to charge me for $350.00 just to look at it because now, my warranty had expired. I was under the impression that my warranty was going to expire at 60K or five years. Of course, I refused to pay that outrageous fee and left.I then returned at Tony Nissan with my husband and he demanded to speak to a manager. They looked at my vehicle at no cost but said they needed to contact Nissan corporate to get an approval to cover the cost of the repair. Three weeks thereafter, Nissan denied my claim stating that 1) I didnt have enough history with maintaining my vehicle and 2) my warranty is expired. This is such an incredible injustice for Nissan should have fixed the problem initially while my vehicle was under warranty. My vehicle is maintained immaculately with regular oil changes, etc. I intend to sue Nissan corporate and Tony Nissan to recoup the costs to repair my vehicle. Furthermore, I will not trust any brand with the Nissan name.

Bought brand new 2015 Nissan Rouge. My tail light has been repaired 3 times due to condensation and currently not fix costing me gas, time, and unwanted mileage. Each time I have to take it to the Nissan Dealership, currently around 357 miles put on going back and forth. File complaint asking them buy back suv or replace SUV, and they said no and set up appointment number 4. If I wanted a problem SUV I would of bought a used one, since lemon law requires 4 attempts to fix it. I cant do anything but put up with the lies they have told me, therefore for all the stress, time, gas, money and mileage I give Nissan a negative 0. Will never buy another Nissan. Since I cant submit this without a star being check I will check 1, but I stand by my negative zero

We have a 2013 Nissan Altima that started having drivetrain issues around 85,000 miles. The unreliable, poorly designed CVT seems to be the issue. After getting 2 quotes from 2 different dealerships, (one at $3742, and the other at $3565). I asked the dealership to see if this could get covered under good will or for Nissan to cover some of the cost since the extended warranty covered the car to 84 months or 84,000 miles. The claim was rejected because they said the timeframe was too far out. Nissan knows they have problems with this transmission, otherwise they would have never been forced to extend the warranty on 2003 - 2010 Nissans for 10 years or 120,000 miles or the 2012 - 2020 models for 84 months or 84,000 miles.Nissan should be held responsible for covering a defected product that they continue to use. Please dont make the same mistake I did, do your research and do not buy a car from Nissan, especially one with this CVT system. I am having an independent shop to fix my car because I refuse to give Nissan anymore of my money. I for one will never buy a Nissan product again!!!!

We bought the Nissan Micra in April 2013, in Oct it met with an accident wherein the front was completely damaged and pressure was high. When it banged the other vehicle however AIRBAGS for the driver seat did not open. It should have opened that is the reason we bought this airbag feature to save the life for thatperson whose driving however it did not met with the expectation and it could have been caused a LIFE. Therefore I want this incident to bring to your notice so that it can be resolved with the compensation. Also on 3rd of Oct 2013 we have given the car to fix at HIND NISSAN at Chandighar and till date it is standing in the same condition without even start repairing of it and the excuses they are giving that brand like NISSAN does not have needful parts available at the showroom. After more than 60 days got to know the exciting news that repair will start on 1st week of December not before and that too if the parts will be available. This is really annoying so please look into the matter and do the needful as your assistance will be appreciated.

It had a good review online with websites I had checked. It was also in our price range, it was nice looking, there was no damage, it was a good size, had a large trunk and a roomy back seat. But the glove box has a weird design and you have to make sure you dont have anything near the sides or it wont close. Also the back seat doesnt have good back support. Nevertheless, Ive had a good experience with this car. I havent needed to take it in to be fixed for anything in the year and a half we have had it. We couldnt have asked for a better car for the money it cost.

Service Department issues-- NEVER AGAIN! My 2008 Rogue showed some weird transmission issues on a trip to Virginia on 4 occasions. After some research we learned about a CVT issue with the Nissan transmissions in these autos. Called our service department to report the issue and they took us right away. They acknowledged the transmission issue and related the steps that should be taken 1) schedule and service the transmission 2) a add-on cooler product 3) new transmission. Nissan, as an aside, has increased the warranty on these transmissions from 60,000 to 120,000 miles, acknowledging the issue.I called Nissans consumer affairs department to report the issue and to see if I was a candidate to replace my transmission. My car is used on long journeys often and this CVT issue only happens when the transmission has heated up because of a long journey - 200-300 miles. Once its cooled down, it corrects itself; however, when it happens, one loses all transmission power and acceleration ability. I also wanted Nissan consumer affairs to understand that we use this vehicle on Rt. 95 and we could be killed if we cannot get our car to accelerate.I spoke with 2 different reps who were empathetic, then my last encounter was with someone very rude. It was then I asked for a manager to call and she did. She was pleasant and understanding. I outlined my concern and she and I agreed that if there were any symptoms of the issue again, I would call her immediately and we would address it then. I was satisfied at this juncture and felt comfortable with our agreement. I then received a customer satisfaction survey from Nissan about my service experience. While the team at Hawthorne Nissans service department was nice and helpful, I didnt give Nissan a good customer satisfaction survey because I wasnt satisfied with my vehicles issue. The survey prompted a call from the service director who was concerned about his service departments score and wanted to do a deeper dive on my vehicle problem. I told him at the present time there werent any issues. He said he wanted to replicate the drive so they could experience the problem by taking my car for the weekend and giving it to the errand person and then having the service manager drive it home which is about an hour from the service center. I advised that this short driving would NEVER replicate the issue.Nevertheless, I was agreed and dropped my car off with the understanding that I would need a loaner vehicle. They hesitated but agreed. I stopped after work and picked up the loaner which had just over a quarter of a tank of gas and was given strict instructions that I must return it with exactly the same amount of gas. Ok. Then as I sat in the drivers seat they said, oh by the way, the passengers side door doesnt work.I took the loaner and parked it in my driveway. It was of no use to me without an operating passenger door. This is when my husband got involved. First thing Monday I called about my car and was told they couldnt find anything which I knew would be the case. I told them Id be in to get it. This was after my husband called and addressed the broken SERVICE department loaner issue with the director who seemed nonplussed about the entire situation. The story gets better because my car tire light was on when I got into my car. Remember the Service manager drove my car and I was appalled that he couldnt put a tire gauge on it and see if it needed air. What kind of service is that? Oh, and I had to throw away the lunch garbage that someone left in my vehicle too. Last, I learned that my car had been sitting in the service department parking lot the entire weekend. We did call back consumer affairs and reported the incident. My husband did re-engage with the service director who basically blew him off with an Oh well. This was after he told him never again would we service our car with Nissan or buy another Nissan vehicle. I pray that this transmission issue doesnt arise again and we arent killed on the highway. Im hoping to be rid of this car before anything else happens.

My 2009 Nissan Altima just died on me one evening. I was stranded so I had it towed across the street to a Shell station. I did tried calling the closest Nissan dealership which was several miles away but they were closed. I have been paying for an extended warranty mind you thousand of dollars and they told me even if the part was covered they wouldnt reimburse me because I took it to a garage other than Nissan. This is absolute bull. Theyd rather I do that vs go right across the street late at night stranded. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER NISSAN AGAIN. Three months after we bought our Nissan Versa, we got a call from a very snotty representative informing us that they had given us the incorrect title for our car and wanting us to bring it back (an hour and a half drive one way) so they could straighten it out. The fuel mileage was grossly misrepresented on the vehicle. The sticker said it was supposed to get 38 mpg, and I only get 30 at most - all highway driving by the way.The warranty is worthless - a piece of trim flew off the car roughly 5 months after we bought the car, and shortly thereafter, the plastic fog lens replacement piece fell off. The local dealership gave the run-around, canceling two appointments because they didnt want to have to waste their time with us. Just recently (33,000 miles), we realized that the tires needed to be replaced. We called the dealership where we had originally bought the car and were told that unless we had detailed records showing we had done the rotations exactly per their schedule, we were out of luck. The warranty was supposed to be 3 years/36,000 miles bumper to bumper. What a crock! We were told at the Nationally Recognized Chain store we took it to, that Nissan purposely toes-in the tires on their small cars to make the car seem to handle better than it really does. They had badly over-toed the tires on this car, hence the exxagerrated baldness on the tires.

My lease was over and I turned in the vehicle, but Nissan and the dealers could not get together or work or cooperate on anything. Do I need an inspection? No, said Nissan because the dealership offered to buy the used car. According to the dealers, I do and they do it. Cool. They can inspect the vehicle when I turn it in. But then they dont, after all. NMAC and the dealership really jerk you around.During the lease, NMAC could not take my Visa for online payment, so I always had to send the check. After passing the inspection and escaping any costs, I was told Just turn in the vehicle, you have paid everything you owe. Three weeks later I was charged by NMAC almost $500 for a disposition fee! I have been a Nissan customer since 2001. I am pissed. I was considering leasing another Nissan in a few months. Screw that. Today, I do not want another Nissan vehicle ever. Merry Christmas, sucker, you owe us $500. What a way to screw your customers.

I purchased a 2015 Nissan Rogue in January. This summer when I traveled a period of time (about 45 mins.) the a/c would stop cooling. After having it checked by my dealer/service I was told thats normal since it is how the car gets better mpg. The only way I can keep cool on long drives is to turn off the a/c when it stops cooling, wait a period of time and let the a/c reset then turn the a/c back on. This in my opinion is a very poor design and should be redesigned.

I called corporate after a year of that and was told the parts were available, they just had to order them. Service dept said no they were told the parts were restricted. After 5 years of this I made an appointment with their recall hotline. When I brought the car in for service I was told the airbag was not there and I should not have made the appointment thru the hotline but thru the service dept. I was also told that the passenger airbag was replaced already. IT WAS NOT. The help in the service dept are pleasant, but the overall service sucks!

Especially for some of us who have been loyal towards our payments and the Nissan Corporation. Also, we never get anything for being a customer. We hardly get discounts and the service team at almost every location is always trying to sell you another car for overpriced numbers. Unsatisfied.

I bought a new 2017 Nissan Rogue. The next day from purchase I when slowing down I felt a jerky lunge as if the break locked up and something is getting stuck or going to break, others have stated sounds like transmission issues I contacted the salesman the next day about returning the car and she said dont worry you have good warranty just bring it in we will fix it! So, I made the appointment and service said, We dont find anything wrong. A few weeks later there was a metal rattle noise low idle.Again, we dont find anything wrong with rattle. We will bend this plate, it still made noise. Service said, We drove your car 15 time. We dont feels issues. (lies!). Its been 1 year and the break, lunge pop issues has never been fixed, the sunroof rattles and squeaks, steering wheel squeaks when turning, radio sounds like static, vibrating in dashboard when accelerating are intake button for a/c gets stuck, air conditioning makes a water noise.during service wrong oil was added to my car, antifreeze was below the low line.Been there 5 times for repairs with waiting around 4 hours each visit with no repairs except for the idle. The new car warranty is basically a scam if Nissan doesnt use it. Service advisors all say, we have no problem using the warranty, but then refuse to use warranty to fix repairs. I have never had a car with this many problems in used or new cars. Service states this is Nissan not other cars you cannot compare, obviously because Nissan showed they are bad quality, customer and lower than other car with this many problems! On top of that Nissan has bad resale value only one year and lost more than 1/2 its value, basically buy 2 cars only get 1 - not complete, bad quality, junk car.

There is a manufacturers defect with certain 2009 Nissan models. Nissan is aware of the issue, but we are being forced to pay for the repair. The cost of the repair will be 1100 dollars, not including what we paid to have the car towed to the dealership. Again, this is not due to normal wear and tear. Our car was in perfectly good condition until the moment it simply stopped working. When I contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs to report the problem, I was also made aware that the reason we never heard of the problem was that they had the previous owner, Michael something, listed rather than us. So the mailing may have gone to him, not us. We purchased the car from Nissan of Woburn as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. How is that possible?By the time I spoke with the second individual from Nissan, our information was updated and she claimed Nissan cannot guarantee that recall information is mailed to the correct owner. What?? Hopefully someone who might have a life threatening recall issue doesnt miss that mailing, huh, Nissan? I certainly receive plenty of junk mail from Nissan that seems to arrive without delay.Nissan is aware of this MANUFACTURERS DEFECT and the woman I spoke with, in a condescending and apathetic manner, said they will not pay for the repair despite it not being due to normal wear and tear and that there is nothing they can do at this time. Consumer beware. This demonstrates a lack of integrity in their car making as well as their responsibility to the consumer.

I bought a new 2018 Versa S plus in July. It gets good gas mileage and looks good. That’s where the good ends... The bad, The CVT transmission has an intermittent issue where it vibrates or shudders when coming to a stop. Dealer cannot find an issue. The main seal where engine meets transmission is seeping oil. The dealer refused to acknowledge it was oil (called it a liquid) and said Nissan will not cover repair unless it is dripping on the ground! Really???I’ve had my oil changed twice, both times at two different Nissan dealerships. Both times they overfilled oil. First time they pumped 5 qts into a car in which the owners manual states 3.75 qts and had to drain some out. The 2nd time they put in 4 qts and had to drain some out. The incompetence in these authorized Nissan dealerships is bewildering!I’ve had three 27 point inspection and not one mention of the oil that is leaking from main seal. The green box is checked for leaks underneath car! I will be changing my own oil going forward and saving receipts. At least I know it will be done right... I will not purchase another Nissan product based off of my experience with the brand and incompetent service centers. I will definitely be selling this car before warranty is expired.

Coming from a Loyal Nissan customer FOR ELEVEN PLUS YEARS, I am disgusted at their lack of care and concern for issues that my recent lease CAME WITH. I just signed this lease, trading in my old one at the end of May. I will NEVER go with Nissan again after my recent experiences with the Patchogue, NY Dealership and Consumer Affairs absolute lack of care and effort to mend anything. Problems at the dealership level have left me going to Consumer Affairs which were of no further help at all. They act as if all of this is out of their hands and there is nothing to do to reassure their efforts at trying to make me satisfied. They cannot get one person on the phone to speak with me. I have had issues regarding my new 2018 lease 3 months in, leaving it in the shop to be repaired with NO ETA of time it will be done (because items are back-ordered) and ready for me to drive again. Though they did mention maybe some time in October... awesome because I dropped off my car on 8/27. I also only get this info through voicemails because every time I try to call back it goes to voicemail and I wont receive another call until they have their scheduled time to call me back. Horrible customer service and quality of care.My new lease has a safety brake issue where the auto safety break will go off when no one is around, breaking my car while going 40+ mph. Apparently this is a VERY COMMON issue (talk about safety) with ALL Nissan models starting with the VIN K. So Id check your VIN because I am sure if you dont say anything about it, they wont either. I have also had the issue of my backup camera lagging and freezing as backing up since the beginning. There was no point to even use it because it was inaccurate and dangerous to do so. My radio has also just decided to black out one day for a good 10 minutes. Couldnt do anything about it. This is my THIRD time back to the dealership where they finally kept the car to fix it fully, even after showing them video evidence of my experiences the second time I went back.Patchogue has provided me a loaner of not even the same model or year of my current Rogue lease. Which is fine and I normally wouldnt care, BUT at this point, still paying for a new lease yet driving around an older vehicle for over a month has me fuming. I have been polite and patient up until now. The back and forth phone calls that go nowhere are leaving me stressed and in disbelief with this company. I am in shock and SO dissatisfied with all this new 2018 Nissan Rogue and Nissan Customer Service has come with. This is my fourth Nissan, third lease. I have NEVER had an experience like this. I am beyond shocked and pissed.

Some of you may know, but most of you may not, that I purchased a Nissan Altima October of last year. Ive always driven Hondas, but thought Id give something else a try. NEVER AGAIN. Firstly, I purchased from Hoffman Nissan and perhaps that was my first big mistake. The finance department gave me financing and three weeks later I found out I did not qualify for the financing they set me up with. Secondly, I purchased the car contingent upon a rattle in the roof being fixed. The roof still rattles, and Nissan told me that it just is that way. Most recently, three weeks ago, Joe was driving the car home from the gym getting on an on ramp to Route 8 at 25 - 35 miles an hour when the hood flew up and into the windshield, which, thank God did not cause an accident. This caused major damage to both fenders. I first brought the car back to Hoffman Nissan, as there was an active recall for this very thing, but for which my VIN did not qualify. Hoffman told me that it looked like someone left a screwdriver in the hood, and that it was bent. Couldnt it have been bent from FLYING UP ON WHILE IN MOTION?? They then handed me a $2,200 quote to fix it and told me to go through insurance. Long story short, after 2 weeks of conversation with Nissan corporate, they told me today that they will not fix my car and if I wish to have it fixed it will need to go through insurance or out of pocket. I am appalled that Nissan does not want to stand by their manufacturing and fix this issue. Im disgusted with their business practices, and can safely say my experience with both Nissan and Hoffman Nissan in Avon, CT, have been the worst business experiences Ive endured, especially with so much money at stake.

On January 15th, 2015 I met with Internet advisor of Nissan of Duarte to trade in my 2012 Prius C for 2015 Leaf thinking I was going from hybrid to electric. What was I thinking? I traded in my Prius for 2015 leaf. When I left dealership leaf wasnt fully charged I was given option of taking my Prius home and to have leaf delivered next day. I figured Leaf had enough gas to get me home and I could charge it the next day. Boy was I wrong. As I was driving approaching Burbank the gas bars kept going down which forced me to exit freeway and head to Glendale Nissan hoping I could charge vehicle... Unfortunately it is 11 pm and dealer is closed. I am stranded with brand new car alone in front of Nissan dealership. I had to contact Nissan roadside assistance to tow vehicle to my home. I got home past 2 am frustrated and exhausted I had to miss work the next day.The whole process of charging vehicle at home only works if you have your own place, if you rent like me it is simply not practical. I had to go to dealership near my home to charge vehicle daily. This car only allows you to go so many miles without requiring recharge, not worth it if it is main car in your household. 3rd day with this car and I had to call AAA again because me and my spouse were stranded at gas station after going to a theater 15 miles away from home car required charging again pathetic. On 4th day I contacted Internet representative from Nissan of Duarte and demanded something to be done. I couldnt be stuck with a lemon on a lease for 5 years and in spite of everything I was willing to do business with Nissan. I returned Nissan leaf on 1/18/15 and leased 2015 nissan altima and after having car for 4 days only I was stuck with 10000 negative equity on top of 24000 for Altima lease for 5 years. I am paying almost $600 month for an Altima and after recently contacting nissan consumer affairs I was told that nissan of Duarte followed proper procedures. Talk about complete rip off. Beware false mileage advertising of leaf and company that doesnt stand behind its products. The worse part this is 2nd vehicle purchased at this dealer but after going through depression and all stay away if you can therere better cars in the market. My ratings below pertain to Leaf.

It started out that my A/C would not work if I was sitting still. We called Nissan service and asked them what it could be. They listed a few different things. And none of them were your transmission could be getting contaminated with radiator fluid. Then on Christmas, our heat stopped working. My father-in-law had my husband check the radiator fluid. It was low so they filled it up. And everything was fine. No one still had any idea what was going wrong. Then in March 2010, I went to pull out into traffic. My car had a hard time switching gears and picking up speed. It just suddenly happened it was driving fine. And then, nope not anymore! Thank the Lord I am one of those drivers who wants the road to be almost clear. Because if not, I would have had a bad accident. So then, I called some people. And at that time, no one still knew what was going on. We have some Nissan techs that are friends. So, I guess Nissan finds out the problem somehow, but they will not help anyone out. Even if you got all your services, this would not have been caught. Nissan needs to man up and fix these cars! I have called National Highway at 888-327-4236 and have made a complaint! Shame on Nissan! I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated. My steering lock control unit went out and even though there was a petition to get this part recalled I had to pay for the part. It was past the warranty, but I was told that if I took my car to a dealership, I would get a fair review of my case by Megan, the regional consumer affairs specialist, in hopes of warranty assistance. She denied my claim in part because my 2009 Altima had not been to a dealership since 2011, implying that I was not a loyal customer. Why would I take my car to a dealership if there isnt any repairs that need to be done on it? I have owned FIVE , Nissans and bought 1 brand new car and 1 used car from Suntrup, not to mention personal recommendations. I have paid Nissan upwards of $40,000. If that isnt customer loyalty I dont know what is. Complaints have filed with the BBB, FTC, and NHTSA.

I bought a 2012 Nissan Murano 7 month ago and the last 5 month its been sitting in the driveway. The cvt transmission has went bye bye at 120 thousands km so I call Nissan Canada. Gave my vin number only to find out that there was an extended warranty bought and paid for already for that Vin/. My 2012 Nissan Murano. But heres the thing. They got the money already for the warranty but was up to them to let the dealership who I bought it from that there was an extended warranty on this vin and was to be transferred to the new owner within 30 days of purchase which they had failed to do so you went on to have camvac do an arbitration and Nissan sent a legal representation and at the end of it all Nissan could care less about their consumers at all and come good and honor the warranty that they already made the money on and fix my vehicle for me. So now Im stuck with a truck that dont run and a loan that I have to pay for 18 thousand and have nowhere to turn. Im a single father thats been raising my 2 girls for the past 7 years alone. I work my butt off to afford to drive and pay for the car and raised my girls and Nissan has all the money in the world and cant do anything or dont even care. So what Im saying is if anyone reads this think twice before you buy any Nissan car or truck. They really dont care about the consumer at all and the transmission on these vehicle are garbage and if you research them you will see all the problems on them cvt transmission. I just dont want anyone else to have to suffer the way I have and for through this. Thank you.

I took my truck back the following week Sept 6th for jerking issues and i saw now they take pictures of each vehicle that goes in for service. They told me they cannot find anything wrong so i contacted consumer affairs. After calling them 3 times i finally got an appt for 10/4/17 . I met with the consumer affairs and as i sat down with him he told me he was only there to discuss the truck. I then realized that the manager Ravi had briefed him on the dent on my truck which occurred on Nissan premises. He told me he would take the truck for a test drive and will let me know what the issues are once he returned. He came back and said he did not experience any issues and he couldnt do anything. I explained to him i spent over $50 K(paid off in 14 mths) on this truck which i only have 3 years now and i was having all the same issues as before. He then told me he would check the fluids after 45 mins he came back and said he found debris in the pan and he would need to order a new transmission. They gave me back my truck 10/4/17 with all the same issues. I left numerous messages for consumer affairs but have not gotten a call back as to when my transmission will be replaced. Now 10/17/17 my daughter got into a accident because when coming to a stop the truck started jerking and hit the vehicle in front of her. I left another message for consumer affairs and awaiting a call back. I am still driving a faulty vehicle and a accident occurred because the the cvt transmission jerking. This will be the 3 rd transmission in 3 mths. Nissan should not be selling vehicles with faulty transmission.

Our experience so far has been unpleasant, unproductive and frustrating. We are especially unhappy by what appears to be less than a professional and courteous behavior, performed by Hernando ** at Royal Palm Nissan. It all started on September 17, 2011. My car was having some weird and loud noises coming from the engine. As a result, I took my car to its original dealer (Royal Palm Nissan). One of the customer service advisors (Not Hernando **) helped schedule an appointment for Monday because they were having more customers than expected, and I said that it was all right. So he created me an appointment for next Monday (09/19/11).I lost a day of work in order to bring my car for inspection. The car was fully inspected and the noise was temporary fixed. They told me that the car did not have any issues. After two days, the same noise came back from the engine. This was a very unpleasing thing to hear again. However, the problem did not end there. This Saturday, 9/24/11, we took the car back for inspection because the problem apparently was not fixed. This time, we were welcomed by Hernando **, not in a professional, social and friendly way. In 12 years of business, I have not seen such an unpleasant and unprofessional customer service. This is what Hernando ** said and I quote, Why dont you take your car and go to another dealer and dont come back and then he literally threw the paper (invoice) at us with an attitude because we simply asked him in a very friendly way to inspect our car. A simple task that was asked to Hernando ** to perform, which is part of his duties and assignments at Royal Palm Nissan. Not only was he disagreeable and unfriendly, but he also put Royal Palm Nissan as an unprincipled and frustrating place for customers.Right now, I am very - and I do mean very - upset at the way this has been handled. I should not have to be going through this. I know that I do have options of shopping elsewhere when purchasing a vehicle in the future, however, it bothers me to see that Nissan is not fulfilling the end of the services that we agreed on when I purchased my vehicle. I love my vehicle, but I can assure you that this has left a very bad taste in my mouth when either I and/or any of our family members get ready to purchase a vehicle in the future. All I ever wanted was for your company to hold its end of the service that we discussed when we purchased my car. Please contact me to discussed this before we proceed with this matter differently. With all due respect,Alexis **

For the last two years 2014 and 2015 and now into 2016, Nissan has changed - but did they make the change as a user friendly for customers - Hell No times 2. The upper management of Nissan must be a bunch of Bone heads or knuckle heads - your choice but - its one of these two for sure. I have called their CS number multiply times at different times of the day and week to talk to a live person and stay on the phone for up to 2 hrs and no one has ever answer the call. I know I am the bone head for waiting this time endurance but I wanted to find out if anyone would answer. They have made changes to their website over the last two years and it has got worst as whoever they hired to do this changes. It does not work. I should have been discussing the problems to a red brick wall and would have gotten more response from the bone heads at Nissan.

I have been reading the problems with the Nissans... WOW... When I bought mine it had 46,000 on it, that was 18 months ago. I dropped my car Nissan Altima 2012 off Monday and since they didnt have it done by Tuesday they offered me a rental for free. It is Wednesday and I just picked up my car. I have had problems with this car from the get go... I am now on transmission #3 in 18 months. They have never charged me a penny and our dealership out here is amazing! I have called Nissan North America yesterday and they said they would call me today by 5:00. I had leukemia and had a bone marrow transplant, the hospital I see my doctor at is 120 miles away. With the first transmission I would be doing approx 75 mph in the fast lane and all of a sudden nothing. It completely shut down. I have been nearly (could have been fatal) car crashes 3 times. You know how hard it is going from the fast lane to the slow lane with no power. Anyway, I feel terrible for you all paying so much money out. I have been lucky, on my first transmission I was 300 miles from the warranty expiring. I wish you all the best. I am afraid to drive my car now. Fingers crossed for Nissan North America.

I am really disappointed with AV Nissan. I purchased a Brand New Vehicle. It was a, too good to be true offer when purchasing my car. The problem started when my passenger side door wouldnt fully close unless you slammed the door close. I took it in for service, 3 days after purchasing the vehicle. The service Rep came out and told me just slam the door. Its not a big issue. Me being me I thought small issue. What the heck, I let that slide. A year after having the car, I took it in for service because the car was giving me problems. Service inspected my car and said it was the transmission. Okay... Luckily it was still under warranty so they repaired the problem. What Im concerned is, how does a brand new vehicle, need a new transmission after a year. Anyway, my vehicle has been a headache! I mean problem after problem and here I am again with my vehicle that only has 67,000 miles needing a new transmission.I found it a little skeptical, so I took it to universal city Nissan. They couldnt find nothing wrong with my vehicle. The codes that AV Nissan claimed were due to a bad transmission were not coming up. They called AV Nissan to make sure the paper work that was given to me was correct. They said they do not want to change the transmission and charge me because if the problem is not the transmission, well there goes my money. I am very upset. I contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs. I have a case open with them. Nissan consumer affairs agent state they have been trying to reach AV Nissan service manager and there has been no answer since March 07, 2019.Kiana the Nissan consumer affairs agent called me back. She was rude, pretty much told me there was nothing they can do! Kiana did state she’s no mechanic specialist but that universal city Nissan found nothing wrong with the car so to take it back to AV Nissan. Why would I want to take it back to the place I bought the messed up car. I would suggest everyone to take your business with another dealership. Save yourselves the headache! Please read all reviews before making a decision on buying a Car through Nissan.

My daughter decided to replace her Ford Fiesta 2010 which she had many problems with the dual clutch. She bought a new Nissan Juke 2017 at 417 Nissan (Ottawa, Ontario) thinking there wont be issues, its new right? The car had maybe 25 km on it when she left the dealer, drove for 10 km and service engine came up (just left the dealer). She went back to the dealer, it took 1 week for them to figure out that it was a manufactured pin that was not pushed completely down. She picked up her car, approx. 1.5 months after, she broke down again, got towed. Now they said it was the wiring harness that needed to be replaced, it took forever to get the part (4 wks). It got replaced and fixed, drove it again for not even 1 month. This time it was worse. She thought the car was going to explode, RPM going crazy and could hardly go forward, service engine everything was lighting up in the dash, she got towed the 3rd time. My daughter is only 18 years old, making her bi-weekly payments and working 4 jobs. Now Nissan Finance have no problem digging in her account to withdrawal the payment when she has been asking since the 2nd break down to replace it with another Juke. Nissan (head office) wont even return our calls, they are not professional at all. Now the car is in the garage, lord knows what is the issue but service is terrible, not keeping us up to date and Nissan (head office) senior person is supposed to call us back within 24 hrs, still nothing. This is not acceptable.

I leased a 2013 Nissan Leaf two years ago from Peoria Nissan in Arizona. At the time, the salesman told me not to worry about the battery because Nissan just replaces them if there is any problem. That is totally a lie, and Peoria Nissan will not be of any assistance to me with my Nissan Leaf that has a range now of 59 miles (maybe) in the winter with no heater on. Dont ask about how it fares in the summer - it is ugly to say the least. I now have one more year to suffer through this vehicle because Nissan says the battery charges up to 10 bars and must decline to 8 bars.We know that this does not take into account battery fade - in other words - yes, it looks good when it is first charged, but like all failing batteries, the range quickly decreases as soon as you pull out of your driveway. My lesson in all of this is that Peoria Nissan lies to its customers - yes I know I should not be surprised, and that the manufacturer is choosing to make folks keep a car that simply does not meet the needs stated by the buyer when purchasing the car. I expected somewhere in the range of 70 miles which would allow me to drive back and forth to my work site daily and make a couple side trips as well. This was all explained to the salesman when I leased the car. He is no longer with the dealership. So, I asked if the dealer would work with me on terminating my lease and getting a 2016 Leaf that supposedly had a better battery. Unlike the salesmans reassurances that it was no big deal to end the lease after 24 months, the dealer asked for the entire amount of the last 12 payments and the car. The explanation was that Nissan had changed its lease terms and that the residual value stated in my contract was no longer really valid. The upshot was that for over 900 dollars per month, I could get out of my current lease, turn in my car and get a comparable 2016 Nissan Leaf. Ha Ha Ha. I am laughing only because I am happy to share this saga with anyone who might be foolish enough to trust Nissan and buy or lease one of their vehicles. My advice - just because their contracts are preprinted - insist on adding terms that the salesman tells you in writing and have them initial them. You will then perhaps find out what the real deal is. Thanks for listening.

No responsibility for a defected paint job because it was contracted out according to the Nissan North America rep that just called me back. This is sad and I will make sure I put this in as many places possible to be visible to your other consumers. In short, I bought a Black 2015 Nissan Altima less than 5 months ago. I have THOUSANDS of light scratches all over the car. It seems just looking at it scratches it. Its clearly a defect in the clear coat and or paint. The service manager at Nissan agreed it does not seem normal and the rep from Nissan North America would not clearly admit the same but did say I was an advocate for you to help but the decision was made not to do anything because its not a warranty coverage and its contracted out. So what. Nissan needs to take some responsibility. I owned a 2010 Black Chevy Cobalt for over 4 years and had way less paint damage when I traded it in 5 months ago. Obviously something is wrong with the paint or clear coat. I have tried taking better care of the Altima than I did my Cobalt. Rightfully so because its about twice the price. Nissan you made a great car and I love it.

I filed complaints with Bakersfield Nissan, Dept. of Consumer Affairs and Better Business to no avail. Then I filed the complaint with Nissan. Last February I purchased a 2006 (used) Nissan Murano which had 33,660 on the odometer. I had a hard time getting credit due to a 3-year divorce action, which messed up my credit. Bakersfield Nissan ended up making paper work for three different credit agencies. With this voluminous amount of paper work, I didnt read everything. When I purchased the car, I was not informed there wasnt any warranty on it. I should have been told this and offered an extended warranty. The sales manager tried to tell me it was my responsibility and I told him (cant say it) in no kind words. I worked as Office Manager-Accountant for 4 dealerships back in Rhode Island, one being an AMC-Datsun-Peugeot dealership in Provided operated by the Gabrolowitze brothers back in the late 60s.While going over the car with the salesman I pointed out several items that had to be fixed, including a dent below rear tail light, missing tire caps, dent on rear aluminum panel below trunk, loose visor (drivers side), etc. I told him Id wait; bring it in after a few weeks in case of something else was wrong. When I returned, the salesman wasnt there, so I brought it to repair shop. They gave me a bill for $2,000.00 and I left in a huff. Before a couple weeks I noticed oil leaked on my driveway and thought it was the transmission. I was informed by the service manager that the power steering ($800.00) was leaking and needed to be replaced. The visor cost was $400.00. They were only going to repair the damage at the paint shop. After much complaining, they fixed the visor but that was it. You should have copy of my December 7th letter complaining about all this.I ended up paying $400.00 for something else as the power steering element was okay. Then the alternator went and I had that repaired for another $410.00. I can see that nothing was done to prep this car for sale. I brought it to EZ Lube for an oil change ($40.00); American Tire (4 Michelin tires) at $813.00. I know this would be my obligation, but mileage was only 54,284. To ensure tires would last, I had front end alignment at Pep Boys ($75.00).I told people at Nissan I would never set foot in their establishment again and have not been a good ambassador for Nissan. They kept sending me service reminders. So Id call and told them to remove my name from their customers. I am almost 80 and have had many cars in my life but not a Nissan. In the late 60s I purchased a Datsun, 210Z for my daughter. Most of the vehicles I purchased were Fords. Also, Chevys, VWs and Toyotas.Going back to the contract, when I wasnt offered an extended warranty they charged me $695.00 for GAP insurance which I didnt want. This money could have been used for a warranty. I cancelled it before the 90 days and received a refund. Also, after all the complaints I filed, the sales manager offered me an extended warranty $100.00 over his cost to which I declined and told him it was too late and should have occurred in February when I could have had it included on my contract. I found the salesmans card: Alex **, a Filipino friend of a friend of mine.

I have been trying to make payments for my son on his car. He has had issues keeping up with his payments, and I have offered to help out. I called NMAC to make a payment, and because I do not have a debit card that does not require a PIN, they will not accept the payment. Its unbelievable! I checked with my financial institution, and they never heard of this debit card without a PIN. They will not accept any other payment method over the phone. I have offered to give them my routing/account information to pay that way, but they said that he sent in a check that bounced, and they will not accept my check information for up to 13 months? They want me to Western Union every payment to them, for an additional $15 each month. All I want to do is help him get things straightened out with his car payments, and NMAC is not willing to help at all, as they told me dont bother sending us check (Greg-NMAC) either. I purchased my 2011 Nissan Rogue and have experienced this: The car only has 54k miles on it and it blew a head gasket. There were no warnings... The temp gauge went up to high and then the car wouldnt start... Plenty of fluid was in the car. The car was towed to the dealership where I purchased the car. This repair was covered under warranty. The dealership said they consulted Nissan and because it was caused by a cracked radiator the cost were not covered. The estimated cost was 2100-2400.I did some research to find that this is a problem with the radiator leaking up and causing a head gasket to blow. The dealership did work on my car hoping to sell it and place me in another vehicle. This didnt happen because I owe 15k on the car and repair cost of 3000 now to 3500 to fix car. The owners will not release my car until I pay this bill and I never signed anything to do this repair. I had to pay dealership 2100 to get my car back in Cash and I go to drive the car off lot and the car is slipping and making a horrible noise. The oil was extremely low and the car runs like crap. This has been going on for 5 weeks. I do not know what to do.

First time and last leasing from Nissan this 2018 Nissan Rogue SL.! At 5,000 miles had front end whining. Took to dealer. They said nothing wrong.? I would not leave without them looking further into this noise. Well they found a faulty bearing and replaced it. I asked for a wheel alignment also to be done. I thought they did this.? But at 10,000 miles I had wheel pulling and shaking in the front of the car. Took to same dealer for service but was told because it needed a wheel alignment it was my fault so I asked for a inspection that I paid for. They found a faulty control arm and strut on same side as the replaced bearing.! Well they said it was my fault that I did something to cause this and would not fix it unless I paid for the repairs.! This is totally a terrible company and cars also.!I contacted corporate and worse treatment said my fault so, “We can’t help you.!” It is caused by not having a wheel alignment that I asked for at the prior bearing replacement.? So I am a victim of Nissan North America that makes you think you are getting a great deal on a lease car.! Then when you have a true problem that you did not cause they throw you under the”BUS”!!! They suck people in by giving them a lot of “Bells and Whistles” standard on the cars and not caring about anyone’s safety just making their pockets DEEPER!!!Stay away from these dealers and cars nothing but trouble for the consumer while they take no responsibility at all after you sign and leave the dealership.!! Where is their warranty on a new vehicle.? This is proof that there is none.! So my car if driven could cause a serious accident and possible near death to any passengers or others on the road!!! I have to pay for all the repairs before I can drive it again.!!! Buyers Beware.!!!!

I do not believe I would be buying another Nissan in the future. I have taken the car back 6 times for the same problem, cracking noise in dashboard. They said they fix it and a week later, it starts again. This time, I am very upset, I took the car to Lake Nissan in Leesburg, FL. I am staying in Orlando for a while. They told me they replaced a broken clip. When I picked up the car, they put some kind of foam around front of dashboard. The foam is sticking out. It does not look very nice. They DID not put paper on floor to work on the car. This is the 6th time I take it to a dealer. I bought a new car not to have issues and this is awful. When I went to the dealership at Lake Nissan in Leesburg, they were trying to get me a new car and get rid of my car, but of course I would lose a lot of money. I was willing to do that if I would just lose $1,000.00 but not $4,000.00. They were very persistent to me leasing a car. I had two employees come and talk to me about it. I feel that they were upset, because like I mention before, they really DID not do a good job on the car. I contacted the state consumer affairs. I do not know what else to do. I am so dissatisfied with Nissan. Like I mentioned before, I would not buy another car from Nissan again.

I bought a 2012 Nissan Versa CVT in November 2011. In the summer of 2013, it started hesitating and squealing when I lightly touched the accelerator to adjust my speed at freeway speeds. The winter of 2013, it started hesitate-surge behavior, like it was searching for the right gear, at freeway speed limits or when accelerating to freeway or city speed limits. Sometimes it was so strong I was afraid I was going to lose control of the vehicle. A couple of months later, I was driving 75 mph (the speed limit) on a flat stretch of TX190 when the vehicle suddenly lost power. I was only able to keep it at 60 mph by pressing the accelerator to the floor. I was only able to resume normal driving speed by taking my foot off the accelerator and then pressing it to the floor again. From what Ive read online, Nissan has had problems with its CVT for years, yet I was unable to get 3 Nissan dealers in 3 different towns to service this problem. One said they couldnt reproduce the problem. The other two wouldnt even give me an appointment. They basically said this is just how this transmission works - live with it. It got worse. I live in Central TX, and my parents live in Phoenix. The morning of March 21, 2014, my dad died. I found out at about noon, went home to make plane reservations and pack, then drove to the nearest airport, about an hour and a half away, mostly interstate.Less than an hour in, I started having trouble, so I stopped to eat lunch and let the CVT cool. Shortly after I started out again, one exit before the airport exit, the car suddenly dropped to 40 mph -- in a 70 mph zone -- and kept losing power. I had barely enough power to get off the freeway and coast into a gas station. I had it towed to a Nissan dealer, rented a car, rescheduled my flight for the next day, and booked a room in a hotel. I was gone for over a week. It took a whole week for the dealer just to get permission to replace the CVT after the mechanic pulled CVT oil pan and found excessive metal shavings in pan and inside transmission, so I had to rent another car to get home and to work the next few days. The invoice only said All Nissan genuine parts carry a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty, so I asked if that was the case for the CVT as well. The response was so outrageous - I asked for it in writing. I was told that, if I had bought an SUV, the CVT would be warrantied for 120,000 miles, but as I owned a Versa, it was only warrantied for 20.5 months or 60,000 miles, whichever came first. I had only had the car for about 1.5 years before the original CVT started to go. It died at 2 years 4 months and 34,167 miles, which means this CVT is warrantied to last less time and mileage than the original. Nissan should be ashamed of itself, and my government representatives should be ashamed to allow such a company to continue to do business in this country.

From Day one we have complained about the tires (Original equipment tires). They were loud and had a bad ride. We had the tires rotated as often as possible and had the car aligned at the dealership. All the service to the Rogue was done at the dealership. We have replaced the tires and are now getting the ride we expected from our new Rogue.

I purchased a 2018 Nissan Murano with 14k miles on it in Feb 2019 with full warranty. It was the first time I had bought a used/program car and it will be my last. In mid-July the sunroof started experiencing an issue when closing it. Id press the button to close the sunroof and it worked fine until it got to the front and instead of closing it would kick back open. I took it to the local dealer and they thought it would be a simple fix to change out the motor. Fast forward to now and 3 motors later and still NO RESOLUTION. Im now at DAY 50 of not having my vehicle back or fixed. The dealership tells me they are not getting support needed from Nissan Tech Engineers, have tried 3 different motors and nothing is working. Last Friday I reached out to Nissan Consumer Affairs because the dealership is getting nowhere and they inform me there will be ANOTHER 10-day wait until while they act as liaison between myself and dealership. The communication on both ends has been horrible and its completely unacceptable for them to have my car for almost 2 months with no resolution in sight. The service experience between the dealership and corporate has been a nightmare and I will never buy a Nissan again. The rep at Nissan Consumer Affairs sounds like shes reading off a script and also made it sound like it was my fault for not reaching out sooner. Up to this point Ive always trusted my local dealership and I believed they were working diligently on my issue. It appears Nissan just doesnt want to replace the entire track for the sunroof under warranty... Maybe they are fighting about who is going to pay for it. All I want them to do at this point is to buy this car back so I can move on. Im so done. It shouldnt take 2 months to fix a sunroof.

I have been trying to make my monthly payment my Visa card. Apparently, the third party vendor that Nissan uses for collection DOES NOT accept a credit card as a method of payment in California, New York, Connecticut and other states. Why is Nissan using this Mickey Mouse third party vendor for collecting payments? Now my credit will be affected because of non-payment??? I am trying to make my payment but Nissan/BillMatrix will not accept my payment because BillMatrix does not accept credit cards in California! I have look through the papers I signed when I bought my Altima Coupe. Nowhere in the paperwork does it indicate that I cannot use a credit card to make a payment! Now whats wrong with that?

My 2015 Nissan NV200 Van just hit 105k miles and transmission failed. I go to the dealership and thats when I find out how Nissan has a CVT transmission issue. I hear theres class action lawsuits and all. Well little did I know when I purchased. So the dealership said it will cost me $4300 to replace the transmission so I called Nissan Corporation Consumer Affairs and they said Im out of luck. They only warranty 100k miles Im 5000 miles over. What a piece of garbage company that puts out a bad product. No one expects a transmission to fail right around the 100k miles mark. That is unacceptable. Im like can you all cover some of the repairs but now they only care about their bottom line smh.

Bought a new 2005 Nissan Sentra from Nissan in 2005. In 2015, only have 74,000 miles. Catalytic Converter and Engine still under warranty. Catalytic Converter went out and caused damage to the Engine. Let Nissan look at my car one day. Engine light was on. Could not find problem. Took car out and air conditioner not working! Only blew hot air! Had to pay over $500! Left car at Nissan. Kept given different dates to pick up car. Nissan claim they were waiting on parts, and kept my car for 6 weeks! Was given a free rental car under the warranty. Cannot drive rental car for my job! Lost six weeks of wages.

Hey guys. This review is to let the world know out there of how unfair Nissan company is. I have been a loyal customer of Nissan for more than 6 years now. I own a Nissan Rogue 2012 with no more than 30k miles on it. My transmission happened to fail 2 weeks ago and the Nissan dealership wants to charge me $4400 to replace the transmission. They WILL NOT COVERED this knowing that I still have my original warranty on transmission work. DEALER says transmission got hit by something and that is why is not cover. We did not hit anything at car broke that while driving in highway. Really unfair, unacceptable. Ill not recommend NISSAN to anyone. They are thieves..

My husband has a 2014 Nissan Sentra, hes made all payments on time. Recently he started getting calls about him not paying. Hes even showed his proof of each payment. All they said was yeah it shows you paid, but we didnt get any payment and told him to pay more. Obviously someone there is pocketing the money or some crap cause hes been paying. Last week they had his car repossessed for no payment... But he has been paying. Hes even told them that he wont ever get another Nissan and asked them if they scam all soldiers like this? they hung up on him. He has yet to get his car back and they still wont admit that theres something wrong in the whole payment thing. They said he hasnt paid in 4 months. I have a 2015 Sentra and Im thinking of selling mine so I dont go through this crap too. NMAC are nothing but scammers.

I am the owner of a 2013 Nissan Rogue S AWD Special Edition. Prior to this vehicle I have bought Two and Leased Two, and believe me there is No Loyalty from this company. My complaint with Nissan is - on Sept. 2014 I brought my car to the Dealer MLG #34,387 Newburgh Nissan NY for CVT transmission problems. Whining and over heating causing loss of power while driving on the highway, very dangerous. They found an ABS code C1106. Had no problem until April 2015 and it happened again, whining and over heating causing loss of power while driving on the highway. So I brought it back to the Dealer MLG #45,452 Newburgh Nissan NY and they could not duplicate the problem and NO codes. OK so now I called Consumer Affairs of Nissan and I received a return call from ** (615) 725-7592 who gave my a REF. # **. Told her what was going on and she insisted that I take to a different Dealer for a Second Opinion. So thats what I did, I brought the car over to another Dealer MLG #45,963 April 2015 Middletown Nissan NY and they couldnt duplicate the problem as well and NO codes. And now to top it off, this problem its costing me money to a Rent A Car. OK So I picked up the car and on May 2, 2015 it happened again. On May 4, 2015 I had my friend hook up the scanner to check the system and found a stored code. Transmission Fault code P0744 Torque Converter ECU part # 31036-JM62A. So I brought the car back to the first Dealer Newburgh Nissan NY and thats where car is now, and they wouldnt give me a rent a car so I am stuck home. I left several messages with ** and have not received a call back. Shows you how concerned she is about this problem. I also filed 3 Vehicle Safety Complaints with Safercar, gov...

Nissan quietly extended the warranty for the CVT (transmission) from 5 year
Nissan quietly extended the warranty for the CVT (transmission) from 5 years/60,000 miles to 10 years/120,000 because of all the problems people are having, everything from shaking to accelerating at stop signs. Its a genuine safety concern. My wifes 2008 Nissan Rogue has the same problem. We took it in for service and they replaced the transmission. However, theyre charging us $2,700 for a new transfer case, a transfer case thats included in the original powertrain warranty that connects to the transmission. The mechanic at Nissan of Bourne in Massachusetts tried to tell me the problem started with the transfer case and not the transmission. I find this hard to believe since Nissan is obviously having issues with the transmission, or else they wouldnt have had to extend the original warranty. There is no reason why Nissan should be charging customers for their own substandard parts. To replace the transmission but not the transfer case which is part of the transmission, is flat-out dishonest. Now well have to spend money we dont have because Nissan wont live up to its own warranty on parts they know are bad. There shouldve been a recall in the first place for safety reasons, but Nissan is trying to mitigate their losses at the expense of their customers. This is not right and it should be addressed.

I leased a 2014 Nissan Maxima in June 2014. The automobile has only 18,000 miles on it. In the last 40 days, it has been in the shop 4 times. First time, the servicing dealer said it was an O2 sensor. Second time, I was told it was the REAR-END O2 sensor. Third time, they kept the car 5 days and couldnt find the problem, so they replaced the wiring harness. Fourth time, the gauge cluster (display) went completely black, and when I took it in to get it fixed, rotate tires and change my oil, they found a front axle leaking oil. I talked to my servicing dealer about trading out of the lease, and they told me the value of the vehicle had dropped in HALF in ONE year, leaving me with no option to trade out. I then contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs to discuss being released from my lease. They drug the process out over a month, hoping I would go away. I continued to pursue them via daily telephone calls. They sporadically returned my calls, using my cell phone, rather than my preferred number at work, thus avoiding direct contact with me. They had indicated they were reviewing my complaint and would have a response by Monday. They notified me today they are only willing to provide me a two-year maintenance plan, but nothing further. THIS CAR IS A LEMON. I recommend NO ONE purchase a new Nissan with this buy the car, but forget servicing the customer after the sale attitude. I have always been a fan of Nissan - purchased many vehicles in the past, and strongly recommended their product to many of my friends. I am sorry to say I have lost all confidence and URGE anyone to live under the BUYER BEWARE philosophy.

I first contacted NMAC on Feb 24th, 2014 about a deferral for my loan of my 2013 Nissan Sentra SR because I lost my job. My account # **. I was given a 2 month deferral on my loan that day. The original rep I spoke with said that I needed to sign a document and send it back for their records. I was asked to send the document back before March 4th or my account would be late and I would be assessed a late fee, which I had agreed to. I called back on the Feb 28th because I hadnt received the document yet and it was getting close to the deadline of the account being late and I didnt want to get a late fee. The rep I spoke to on the 28th said the document was sent on the 26th and I should receive it any day. I was also was told the whole process would take 2 days. The rep I spoke with said he was waiving the late fee because of this delay. I asked if the document could be faxed over to me to expedite the process. I was told an original signature was needed so I couldnt get it faxed. Finally on the 6th when I still hadnt received the paperwork, I asked again if the letter could be faxed. At that time I was given a fax number and was told a late fee would be assessed. When I told the rep on the 6th that my late fee was supposed to be waived, she told me the paperwork I was signing specifies I would be responsible for any late fees. I signed the paperwork and faxed it back and also mailed it on the 7th. Im writing this today because I just received the document on March 8th and the envelope was post marked March 3rd which means it wasnt sent out on the 26th like I was told and I was going to be late anyway because of the 2 days it was going to take to process and now there is a late of $22.00. I am requested the late fee be taken off the account effective immediately due to the lack of urgency on the part of NMAC. I am very disappointed with service I have received.

If I could rate Nissan a 0 I would. All around terrible service from the advisors up to management. Brought my vehicle into Pine Belt Nissan of Tomsriver NJ. I had what I believed to be a stress crack across my windshield. The advisor along with the service manager both looked at it, and clearly said they could NOT find any point of impact, obviously with that being said it would be a factory defect. They sent all my info along with photos to Nissan corporate. Who I went back and forth with to have it covered since the glass had NOT been hit. Anyway it had been denied all across the board. Not a single person could provide an explanation on why the glass broke, of course they only work there but know NOTHING. I even asked them if they could Pay half the cost. Again was told NO. I would of happily taken aftermarket glass didnt have to come from the factory. Im guessing Nissan knows nothing of “goodwill”. Customer service is TERRIBLE! They cant even do the right thing for their customers, they would much rather lose them instead. Nissan is pathetic. I would never ever lease or purchase anything from this awful awful company again! Everyone else tell your friends and family! All they could come up with was, Sorry car is not in warranty, spare me Nissan. I will never serve my car in any Nissan service center again. Nissan does not do the right thing and thats the bottom line! Poor product and terrible employees.

I had a horrible experience in every aspect of my purchase. I had a truck moved from my dealerships lot a few miles away. I asked to wait to view the truck in person BEFORE signing any documents. I was assured that the documents I was signing were related to the loan and extended warranty and I would be able to see the vehicle before signing. I was offered $2000 off by another dealer but it was too late, unknown to me I already signed. I had to purchase bed extender and was supposed to receive 15% off for my VIP package, negative, paid full price. I took my truck in for service and spent over 2 hours watching soap operas for an OIL CHANGE!!! Last straw was my drivers door. The door is not aligned properly. When opening the door falls and causes and overlap with the rear door. It closes with some force. I took to the dealership for repair under warranty. I was leaving town for a few days and had to take a cab to the airport to get a rental. I was called and told my truck was ready. I returned and took another cab ride to pick up my truck. SAME PROBLEM. The dealer did offer me a loaner which was nice BUT upon returning to get my truck a second time... SAME PROBLEM!!! I will likely never buy another Nissan EVER!!! The only reason I purchased this one is that there were limited options. I was driving a 2014 RAM 1500 Crew cab which I loved but I live in the city/suburbs and needed something smaller for daily driving. The only options were Tacoma, Frontier or Colorado. The Frontier won based on size and price. Im now wishing I had paid extra for a better product and service. Ive had nothing but problems from the purchase to service.

Myself and a few family members of mine have driven nothing but Nissans for the past several years. My moms first Nissan was an 01 Altima. She drove it for 5 years and 230k miles with nary an issue. Her next vehicle was an 06 Sentra. Another five years, another 230k miles with no issues. Her current vehicle is a 2011 Sentra that has 215k miles. The only major repair has been the crank sensor. She had such good luck with Nissans I decided to purchase a used Versa Hatchback. It had 26k on it when the ex and I purchased it. I commuted with it for three years and traded it in at 140k miles (due to personal issues) with no issues.I drove a 13 Versa for a year until I was rear ended and it was totaled by a drunk driver. I accrued 52k miles on it with no troubles. After that I got a 14 Sentra 6 SPD. I drove it for a year and accrued 45k miles on it with no issues. I found myself needing a truck so I traded it in for a Frontier. Ive had it for two months and 8k miles and am extremely happy with it. I plan on keeping it for a long time. The point is you will occasionally get the troubled anomaly, but all in all Nissan makes a good product.

I will never buy a Nissan again! I own a Nissan Rogue and my car stopped working while I was on the freeway while my daughters were in the car. I found out it was my transmission (CVT) but Nissan refused to replace it since I was 1,700 miles outside of the warranty. There was no indication there was even an issue or that I should take my car in; which would have saved me thousands of dollars, prevented being without a car for over a week, and putting me and my family in grave danger. First Instance: I booked vehicle at Nissan Alissa Showroom at Prince Sultan Road, Jeddah on 24-6-2016. While booking vehicle, I had been told by sales supervisor that I will get vehicle before Eid (festival) but after follow-up for vehicle, sales supervisor said that he didnt promised but just he said he will try. My Experience: My question is when you are aware that it is not possible then why give false commitment and false hope to customers.Second Instance: When I got sms of registration of my car number plate on 20-07-2016, I went to showroom expecting to get car. Sales supervisor checked his computer and said, my car is at Falisteen Road branch. I have to go there tomorrow before 11:30 AM or else I will not get car. As per his instruction I went. It was 21-7-2016. Delivery staff said my car not yet reached from warehouse and I have to wait. I waited for 5 hours and finally at 3.55 PM my car reached. I got it at 6.00 PM. My Experience: Making customer wait for complete day and waste their time. Their attitude is a customer has to wait, no issue, it is norm. There is no coordination at all between teams/department and no one follows SOP (I doubt, if there is any). Just chaos. No one take a lead to solve customer issue. Just blame other co-workers.Third Instance: I had been handed dirty vehicle. From inside floor was wet, dirty dusty hands prints on car door panel, exterior crevices is full of sand. When asked why its not cleaned, answer is cleaners are lazy. My Experience: No one bother about customer experience and staffs are not trained about their job, which leads to casual attitude towards work. I decided I will never buy Nissan againFourth Instance: Very next day when I try to start the car it was not getting start only clicking sound (as Friday and Saturday service department is closed, I have to wait till Sunday). I went to the dealer. He said I have to go to Auto Star showroom on Tahliya road that is the workshop. I went there. They said battery has to be replaced. My Experience: Speechless!!!Fifth Instance: I had been told that they dont have battery in stock so I have to come next day. I express my disregard then workshop manager told me to wait, he will buy on cash and I can my take vehicle today. I have been waiting. When there was only one hour left for closing, I inquired when will he receive battery. He dial some numbers and spoke to someone and said he cant help me because he dont have petty cash. My Experience: Wasted my time by giving me false information and finally give lame excuse. Battery is out of stock!!! A joke.Sixth Instance: Next day I was expecting call from workshop. I didnt get any call till afternoon. I call them to check. I spoke to manager. He said till now its not ready and he will call me back once it is ready. Alas! Not any call, not even to apologize for not getting vehicle ready. When I didnt get any call for four days, I went and blasted manager he put some local battery and gave me car. My Experience: Nissan has to be one of the worst companies known to man.Overall Experience: Please check picture attached and decide yourself. I even complaint to Nissan Middle East head office, only reply I got is: Greetings from Nissan Middle East FZE. Please note that, we are reviewing your case with our local dealer in KSA and you may expect to receive an update soon. At the meantime, should you require further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us. Not even I got a single call from anybody. I just say if you want to stay happy keep yourself away from Nissan.

I then requested to speak with a Manager, she put me on hold, then I heard her mumble a under her breath, then she disconnected the call on me. I called back, and I immediately requested a Manager, his name was Chuck, he also answered with a nasty tone, and was basically flipping me, Yeah yeah maam whats your issue. I then asked if they were happy with their jobs, because I am an innocent customer, who does not deserve the DISRESPECT, I have spent nearly 20,000 with this company. The local dealer sent the report to General Nissan Consumer Affair on Dec 30, 2020, waiting for instruction to do the repair. However since then, we have been waiting and waiting.Every time I try to call the specialist in General Nissan Consumer Affairs who is in charge of my case, he wont pick up my phone call. When he calls back, he left message without information I missed your call, please call me back, my phone number is **. The worst thing is, there are three times I happened to pick up his call, but he hung up right after I picked up the call. I requested to communicate with email, but I only received the initial email when the case was open in November 2019. Basically he avoids talking to me and purposely delay the response to my case. I dropped my van in local dealer which is 60 miles away from my home in November 2019 waiting for the repair. In the meantime I requested a rental car to use, but the local dealer doesnt have one. I have other vehicles like Toyota and have never had problem to contact the consumer service or the dealer. I have never thought that Nissan has so bad consumer service and hope Nissan can solve this complaint after my case has been filed for almost 3 three months, still waiting, no car to use.
