Updated on 11/17/2020: Im not happy with Honda and customer service. They keep brushing me off and just saying, Oh he has a case number. They dont do anything to fix the problem. I will never buy a car again from Honda. Im not happy with Honda.Original Review: I was shocked when my tire blew out on the road and I had no spare. I have to spend my time and lose of a day of work to wait for the tow truck to come to pick up the car and take to the tire place. And I have to spend money for a tow truck. That in itself is a rip-off. I will be filing a class-action lawsuit against Honda for the inconvenience and safety. Whoever had the same situation please contact me so you can be part of the lawsuit. **

I have a 2011 CRV with 24,000 miles in it. (I drive 80 miles a day). In November 2011, I had a software update from a recall, that adjusted the timing. I was getting 32 mpg consistently on the highway, and 28 when I did city driving. After the update, I cant get anything more than 26, city or highway. Honda said to have the dealer check it. They did, and everything was okay, as far as they were concerned. Then Honda said to have the dealer run a mileage check. The dealer said there is no such thing, other than looking at the mpg indicator. Honda says if it is within the normal range, then there is nothing they can do. No one can give me a number for normal range. I keep getting the runaround from Honda. I have the extended warranty as well. This will cost me over $900 a year in added fuel cost at the current prices.

I purchased a new 2020 Honda Talon from Nash Motorsport, Mesa, AZ. I purchased the pre-paid service contract and extended warranty. I live in Mesa, Arizona and the vehicle has been ridden in AZ and once in Southern CA. The vehicle has never been in snow, sand dunes or extensive mud. Most of the driving is typical to the Box Canyon area in AZ or Queen Valley; sand roads and routes. Very rarely has LOW gear ever been used except for a few steep hills. The transmission would not stay in gear during a hill climb and I turned it into Dealer for service immediately not to cause more damage in November. The vehicle is still there. The warranty customer support is horrible to deal with and no escalation process except open claim. They call you back with same answer. NO escalation process. Honda has out right lied and said the vehicle was driven in a way it was not and the damage was caused by switching back and forth between low and high. This is an out right lie.

I purchased a used car from Hendricks Honda Pompano beginning August 2018.
I purchased a used car from Hendricks Honda Pompano beginning August 2018. I was looking for a used car, and I found a 2017 Infiniti QX60 that I liked. Jose (Jose **) in sales helped me, I went, I tried the car, and after some negotiation, we agree on the purchase. When in the negotiation process, I asked Jose several times if the car came with 2 set of keys for it and he said that yes the vehicle had two keys. The day I went to pick up the car, after asking for the keys Jose mentioned that the second key was in a locked place and he didnt have the key for that place so we will send me the second key on the mail. After requesting the key several times, finally Jose sent me a key in the mail, and when I tried it, it didnt work. I called Jose and mentioned what happened, and he promised to help me solve the problem. After several calls and texts, I have copies, that never happened. By the end of October, the car run out of battery and I needed a jump start, so I tried to open my SUV with the key with the physical key on the fob, and to my surprise, it didnt work. So the fob did work, but the physical key didnt. Of course, the second key sent by email neither. I called the dealership for some help, knowing that Jose will not help me since he never did. I was helped by Dmitry (Dmitry **), after recommending to change the batteries on the fob which I did, but didnt work, I explained that I didnt have access to my car, to open the hood for the jump start. Finally, he stated that I had to bring the car to the dealership to make the keys, and I reply to, HOW? If I cant access the inside of the car how can I take the car to the dealership? His answer: TOW IT! After a long conversation he hung up on me, and when I called him back he didnt answer my calls anymore, thats what I call customer service!!! Needing to work and desperate, I tried to call the General Manager or CEO of the company and left several messages, and he never answered back. I also called several times Jose my salesperson with the same luck. This happened on Friday, by Monday, and losing all those days of work, I called everybody again, and they transferred me to Manny (Emanuel **). Ohhh Myyyy, what an ignorant individual, impersonating a manager. After talking for more than 30 minutes, he never understood what the situation was, so I asked him for another manager, not knowing he was not, since he presented himself as a manager and not a sales associate. The phone call went to another voice message.Desperate at this point not knowing what to do, I talked again to the receptionist, Ariana and I beg her to transfer me with someone that would care. She was extremely professional and helpful, honestly trying to help me and she did since she transferred me to Richard (Richard **). This guy in less than 30 seconds understood and asked me to wait for a locksmith at my location. I wonder why Dmitry didnt offer this four days ago, but I was glad that someone at least was trying to help me.To make it short the locksmith came to my place, to make the physical key, I had no idea that with no original they can do that, he opened the car, then the hood and he jumpstarted the car, everything in less than 15 minutes. I was ecstatic, I was going to be able to work again, and I began to wonder why Dmitry asked me to tow the car to the dealership to make the keys when that was NOT necessary AT ALL! I showed the second key to the Locksmith that Jose sent by mail, and the stated that that key was never for my car, once paired it can not be changed, not the fob or the physical key and if I wanted another one I had to order one from scratch. To summarize Im not surprised Dmitry, Jose and Manny, still work in that company if we have in mind they have as General Manager, Mark **, who is a stranger to the concept of customer service. I still have to make the extra key that was promised at the purchase of the car more than four months ago. But at least Im happy I can use my car. Hope someone in Honda will address this issues since this is NOT the way to handle any situation or customer.

I love my Honda Del Sol Si because of the style and it is good on gas, easy to drive, looks very unique from other cars on the road and I wouldnt trade it for any other car. I feel lucky to own one. It is a rare car and a classic car from 1994 and just a very cool looking car in general. I like that its a sports car and it is fast and small and good first car for me to learn how to drive a manual. But I dont like that it has manual locks. I wish it was an automatic button and I wish I could have the seat higher up because this car sits very low to the floor.

Honda Customer Service is extremely disappointing. Items offered/described on their website imply suitability for all--not true. Example: Website describes Backup Sensors as Help yourself in or out of a tight spot while helping to protect your paint; Four Sensors emit audible beeps into the cabin while you back up, signaling objects as you approach them. Beeps quicken as your vehicle gets closer to objects. Note: Back-up sensor attachment is required for installation. ** Polished Metal Metallic; MSRP: $265.32. On the purchase of a 2011 CR-V, we had backup sensors installed for $857. Turns out that the emitted beeps are very high-frequency which my husband cannot hear. (According to The National Institute of Health (NIH) 15 percent (26 million) of Americans between the ages of 20-69 cannot hear high pitched tones because of military service (in my husbands case dating back to 1965), etc. ) We would not have requested this safety feature installed on our new CR-V, the third new Honda my husband has purchased since 1997, unless we considered it important. We are a retired couple on a fixed income, and we think long and hard prior to spending this amount of money on discretionary items. Honda personnel with whom we have dealt offered us one option--go to an after market auto shop and see if they could rig up flashing lights to supplement the (inaudible) sound. Are they serious? In backing up, we have to look forward to see flashing lights!!! What about the sides of the vehicles where the backup sensors are supposed to ensure protection?

I am driving a HONDA MOBILIO Car in INDIA which was bought by me on 2015. On 16/11/2015 in Chennai we had heavy rain and we drove this car to court as an emergency case. But all of a sudden the car engine has stopped by itself without any reasons. Then we towed our car to the dealer in Chennai for an inspection. The service engineer told us that the rain water has entered in Engine. We all surprised to hear that. Is it possible? And we had a doubt that these HONDA cars are not suitable for rainy seasons. IF the water gets into an engine it is purely manufacturing defect. But the dealers is looking for an insurance person to change some spares. No one has intended to file a complaint in HONDA. We are not ready to accept this car by changing some spares. It will affect the home setting of the car. My question is this. Will HONDA replace our entire car if it a manufacturing defect? We have noticed that about ten cars are in dealers garage. We have discussed with HONDA dealer for the replacement. But no response from them. We wish HONDA manufacturer should intervene with dealer to replace the entire car. In other words HONDA should declare our cars are not suitable for rainy conditions. Such a surprise from the dealers. They are not ready to escalate this issue to manufacturer. They are looking for an insurance people to cover the cost. We need response from HONDA manufacturer to solve this issue.

I have a 2004 Honda Accord that I bought brand-new. I have always had all routine maintenance completed at a Honda dealership. I had the timing belt replaced ($1,000) within the 7-year time period, hoping to avoid any serious damage if it ever broke. Right after that, I had to replace the power steering pump ($500), because it went bad at 70,000 miles. Now at 83,000 miles, my transmission has gone out; and I am having to spend $4,000 to have that replaced. I have always taken very good care of this car. I bought it, because of Hondas reputation and hoped it would last me a long time before any major repairs were needed. I have read about numerous complaints and recalls for the transmission, so this leads me to believe Honda isnt what I once thought it was. I will not buy another one, even though I love my car. Its not worth what I have had to spend.

My 2004 Honda Accord Coupe started jerking at 78,000 miles. I had someone look at it who is a mechanic for the FBI. He said there was very little transmission fluid in the car and that was unusual. Two weeks after he put in transmission fluid, I was alone in the city and my car would not go into reverse. I panicked and called this man who recommended a transmission place. The cost was $2,550 to have the work done. I am a single mom and had to rent a car for the week it took to replace the transmission. This cost an additional $200. I looked up Honda car problems and this is a common problem with my car. I called Honda and they said that my VIN was not a car that was documented as having a problem. I have since had the car repaired and it still doesnt feel quite right. The transmission company asked if I would bring the car back in three weeks, so that they can check that everything is working properly.

DO NOT BUY A 2018 HONDA ACCORD - DEFECT ON BLACK PAINT ON HOOD & ROOF.
DO NOT BUY A 2018 HONDA ACCORD - DEFECT ON BLACK PAINT ON HOOD & ROOF. I went to a Honda dealership in Nashville to buy a new 2018 black Accord on September 23, 2018. The paint was ruined on both the cars they tried to sell. They offered to fix it by wet sanding it. Who wants to buy a new car that has been wet sanded? I called 2 other dealerships, and the paint was the same way. One of the dealerships transferred me in another car, and the paint is also ruined on it. The auto detailer at the dealership said all the black Accords he has seen look that way. Stain in the clear coat due to tree sap, or bugs. It looks like acid rain spots. The clear coat must be incredibly weak. If the paint already looks like this, imagine 2 years from today. Honda this is fraud to sell a brand new car that paint is destroyed. A new car should not be a damaged car.

In May 2008, I purchased a 2003 Honda Accord from the dealership in Leesburg, Florida. Supposedly, it had a certified inspection (I have a sticker anyway). I paid for an extended warranty on the electrical system. Within a week the TCS icon lit up on the dash. I called the said dealership and they told me to bring the car in, which I did. The warning light went off en route. I was told by a service person that they could only check into the problem when the light was on. When I had had enough and demanded they at least try to look into the problem, they informed me that the warranty had expired. I went to Pep Boys and guess what? They identified the problem without the icon being illuminated. So, I had to pay $1,800 out of pocket. I chose Pep Boys to get my business rather than the dealership. Recently, my A/C died. Simultaneously, my CD and radio stopped working and the audio unit’s lights went dark. It turns out a $1,200 part, a faulty electrical board that needs replacing. Again, I appealed to the staff at the dealership. The general manager was rude. He said they didnt have to notify me of service bulletins and that Honda was responsible for notifying me of any recalls. I have since found out that this make and model also has transmission problems, so Im just waiting for that shoe to drop. Never ever trust a company because of its word-of-mouth reputation. Honda has put out some clunkers and their Leesburg dealership - boy, I want to name names - doesnt give a damn. P.S.: I maintain my vehicle regularly and it has fewer than 62,000 miles on it.

I leased a 21 passport with my husband last month from Honda. The sales team was great, price was good and team was friendly -unfortunately this car has some issues! I don’t blame the dealer. I blame the maker (Honda). Since we bought the car I have been driving it back and forth to work and with my son. After a car wash one day I had noticed rust behind the wheels. I told my husband about it he said it wasn’t like this when we bought it. About week later I started to notice a weird feeling when driving so I gave my husband the car to drive. After him driving it he feels it has some transmission issues. Between that and the rust he was super pissed. He contacted Honda hq and brought it for service. The manager was super helpful and nice my husband said but unfortunately after the visit the rep that came from hq told us the car is normal! I’m sorry rusty/not proper functioning transmission is not normal. I am very unhappy that I do not feel safe to drive this car and now every month I have to pay for something I can’t even get behind the wheel. My husbands friend has the 20 passport. No issues. No rust. No transmission problems. Why is this the issue with the 2021? Issues after a little over a month of ownership not a good look. Awful job Honda!!

I purchased a 2017 Honda Ridgeline truck. I live on a small ranch located 3 miles off the paved road. At 23,000 miles, my check engine light came on indicating a problem with my emissions system. I was told that the emissions canister under the truck was filled with dust and dirt (from my road) and that it would cost me $700 to repair this problem. I was told that this same problem would come back every 15K to 20K miles. The service manager told me that the truck was never designed for dirt road, but rather it was a city truck. My name is Latifah, 55, mother of four, from Malaysia. I am a Honda Civic Hybrid owner. I would assume that with all the recent hype behind the Class Action lawsuit against Honda in the U.S. on grounds of cheating mileage claim and also Heather ** vs. American Honda, Inc. case at California Small Claims Court, you would have probably guessed where my story is heading. Well, to cut a long story short, my Honda Civic Hybrids IMA battery went kaput after a year and ten months of owning it from brand new. My HCH is one of the earlier Hybrids to be purchased in this country. I am not so fussed about the failed technology part of it as this can happen to the very best of us, but I am very concerned and terribly upset about how Honda ridiculed and humiliated a customer who is an early adopter of their Hybrid technology. Instead of helping me out with a technology that they admit is still in its infancy, the company decided to make an example of me, a caution to all and any hybrid buyers, that there is no sympathy from Honda if the expensive IMA battery fails. My initial request to Honda was for a straightforward battery replacement, but they refused, insisting that the fault with the car occurred outside of the warranty period. Having exhausted all avenues of communication with the company, including writing directly to the CEO and receiving no evidence of customer care, we had no choice but to seek compensation through the Malaysian Consumer Tribunal late last year. Even at this point, Honda refused to make an offer for reasonable battery replacement, but instead came up with nonsense terms and warranty which I rejected. The Consumer Tribunal Court here disallow lawyers to represent parties in order to keep cost to a minimum and give access to everyone, and without the benefit of fancy legal jargon to defend themselves against my simple statement of facts, Honda lost. To put it simply, the tribunal found that Honda and the dealer that sold me the car was unable to defend their false advertising that claim of 10-12 years lifespan for the IMA battery. The tribunal ordered them to pay me back an equivalent of US$7,000 in compensation. Just like in Heather **’s case, Honda in Malaysia appealed for a judicial review at the High Court shortly after. I can only release the Consumer Tribunal Grounds for Judgment here as my High Court case is still active. After plenty of spinning and hair splitting by their lawyers, it seems like Honda may get their way after all through the legal channel of this country. But I will have to wait for the verdict to be released 27th of this month. Yes, my story does sound like another typical narration of a victim of corporate fraud who then gets away with it because they can afford expensive lawyers who will do anything to get their clients off the hook. The reason why I am writing this is to seek help from International Media to actually cover my story. My story is minimally picked up by the media here, especially the motoring media as most of them are in the pocket of Hondas advertising department. I wrote to the authority and government agency here, but no one seems to be interested to entertain my complaints either. Meanwhile, Honda enjoys maximum advertising coverage for their Hybrid range by bringing in more Hybrid cars here due to tax incentives. The victim, the public here then blindly buys a Honda Hybrid without knowing that Honda will turn on them once the dirt hits the fan. This is not about my loss anymore; this is about principles and my rights as a customer. If this was back in the days of glorious Japanese industrial standards and discipline, nothing less of Hara-kiri would be expected from Hondas CEO if a blunder like this were to take place. Today, they can pat each other on the back congratulating on their sales success for their infamous fraudulent green car. Hope this finds you well. I am more than happy to answer any questions and I will be grateful with any help that I can get.

Please make sure you like the customers service from the Corporate Office. Let me give you the real tea on Honda Corporate. This place dont give a hoot nanny about customer service nor your car. I want everyone know that Ive had some great cars and however when I purchased my Acura 2014 RLX used still under Honda warranty at 47,000 and 27,000 miles. Nothing but trouble, and bigger trouble. Ive been working with the NCDS after I called the Honda Corp 3 times and couldnt get anywhere. I mean I was told I was assign a case manager by the name of Bryan and this guy call me 1 time when I called him 10 times. I also ask to speak with a manager and never got a call from, so I ask who was the district manager and I was told that was Michael and he would call me on a Monday from my call to them on Thursday and I never received his call. What a joke and at this point I give Honda customers service a Big F and the rating of the car a D-... I think they just show up to get a check and not to help people. So NCDS is helping me thank GOD only to now get a letter from Honda Corp stating that the noise is a normal sound from the car and after a Massive email went out that states they are aware that the RLX has a compressor issue that brings loud noises and its not normal. And today I received a letter from Leticia saying thats its a normal sound. What a great lie. And put the blame on Automax of ATLANTA where I purchased the car. Whatever its still under warranty. Please do your research and leave Honda alone. Some of the Honda cars may look great and some may get you to point A to point B however it a poor choice of a car... Real talk... When I purchase my car I had to go out of NC to find the RLX with the Advance package and the Kell Sound system and the nearest one what I was looking for was in Georgia outside of Atlanta. And it was called Automax of Atlanta...I purchased the car and had it delivered to my home in Charlotte and was so happy. Thats until 1 week after having the car it wouldnt start for several days. I TOOK IT TO THE ONLY ACURA DEALERSHIP WE HAVE AND THATS HENDRICK ACURA. They replace the battery under warranty and got it back and had it for 3 days and still wouldnt start some days. Took it back, they put a new starter in it under warranty and explained to them I still had some concerns and it was My AC AND HEAT noise along with loud noises from the rear end of the car. I took my car into service at least 6 times in 2 months. And the 1st time they didnt hear anything and the 3rd time they heard the noise in the ac compressor and replace the ac coolant line and told me that coolant was leaking and flowing out... Still dont hear the rear end car noise though.Got the car back and the noise was still there but not as loud. Took the car back and finally was told they can not fix it and Honda is working on it. I even have it on paper saying theres no fix and I received this letter. I hope that NCDS makes them repurchase all RLX and all Honda with compressor issue or whoever can authorize it. This just shows you arent nothing to these Honda makers.

What a joke. I leased a car from here for 3 years. 6 months before my lease was up I tried going to Honda because I needed a bigger car. They wanted to work no type of deal with me. Said wait out lease blah blah then told me my Honda loyalty could get me far? But clearly did not. I ended up going to Chevy. Worked out an amazing deal for me and I returned my Honda early and under the miles I was suppose to return it with. Of course Honda could fathom I went somewhere else and charged me a nice 375 which was explained to me, Oh that’s because you didn’t get another car with Honda... like what? I returned your car mint condition under miles and EARLY. You charge me a fee for not staying with you when you didn’t want to work anything out with me when I tried? A joke! Can’t stand this company and I tell all my family and friend to stay clear of Honda.

I am a very frustrated owner of Honda Accord 2.0 VTi-L, Full Spec, VTEC with plate no **, registered in Penang, Malaysia. Ive been maintaining my vehicle in your service center namely KAH Motor located in Sungai Pinang, Penang, Malaysia. Six months back, I had complained about sounds from the bottom of my car bonnet. The service engineer helped to check, but could not find the root cause of the sound. Id sent my car for checking for 3 times during the past 6 months, no results. Finally, a month back they told me they found the cause. But, the spare parts need to be ordered from others. They said theyd filed a complaint to Honda HQ and the warranty claim has been approved, spare part should be arriving within 1st week of Apr.12. Sadly, they did not update me even after 15/4/12. When I called up, they said the spare part had not arrived and they do not know when it is arriving. What an irresponsible answer?! They didnt even bother to highlight my problem to their top management and get my case solved. After all, Ive been waiting for 6 months to confirm the root cause of the sounds. And now, another infinity date to wait for the repairs?! This is totally unacceptable! I am a heavy user of this vehicle and I need to be safe on the road. I need this to be resolved.

Transmission of 2002 Accord fails April 2011 (at 23,000 miles). Cost is $1867 to fix plus towing. Another part of the transmission (TCC Solenoid) fails January 2012 (at 27,252 miles), costing $864 to replace. Responding for the second time to the summer 2011 Honda recall for an airbag repair—response number 1 in September 2011 and response number 2 in December 2011—I was asked to come on a specific day in January 2012 to have it repaired. I went but Superior Honda of N.O. did not have the part. When they got the part and fixed it they told me that the OPDS sensor needed repair and I had no airbag coverage at all. I learned later that this problem was under warranty until one day before the repair was made. This was only $300, not the $3,000 transmission fiasco (including a guess at towing cost). I think Superior should extend the warranty one day since if they responded properly to the September request or had the part for the recall work, the OPDS sensor would have been under extended warranty (Spring 2006 letter from Honda).

There is an ignition switch recall - Same make, Same model, Same year as my Honda Civic, but they will not repair my ignition switch because my VIN doesnt match the recalled VINs, even though they have the diagnostic from the Honda tech saying that it IS, in fact, faulty and needs to be changed to avoid further DYING in the middle of a busy intersection or interstate! When I contacted American Honda, they told me that it was just Coincidental and even DENIED that that was the case until I had PAPERS showing that it was from their very own technicians! Jerks.

My wife and I, along with our grandchildren, were placed in a very life threatening situation on several occasions with vehicle stalling in heavy high-speed traffic. The ignition switch failed, but turned out to be a very expensive diagnosis and repair, $2,350.19 to be exact. When I found out there had been a recall, I contacted Honda for reimbursement, but to no avail. They mailed me a check for the cost of the switch. No letter of explanation as to why they refused to not pay for the total repair bill. I find this to be very appalling for a company not to respond to a customers complaint of a safety recall.

Sales department uses delay tactics to go through the process of purchasing a vehicle. Finance department tries to fiddle with numbers and charge for items that are optional...which they dont tell you until the very end, (e.g. 300 insurance fee, which is really an optional documentation fee). Service department confirms issues but does nothing about them. They lie about what was done or not done and use subjective tests to say that nothing is wrong even though a documented 3rd party assessment indicates otherwise. Do not recommend purchasing or servicing a vehicle from Richmond Honda in BC.

Every few months, winter and summer, the climate control all setting has mold - can tell because of the horrible smell. I have gotten very sick, now I open the windows (not what I want to do!) and shoot bleach into the vents. I have changed the air filter multiple times, it is not the air filter. This is a poor design on Hondas part - there is a complaint on the FitFreak board. This is a health and safety major flaw and I am frustrated and disgusted. Upon leaving the house a couple months ago, loading the kids in the car then, bam, the back passenger door falls, breaking the cable and damaging the fender in the process. Calls to Honda make it apparent they do not plan to do anything for a design flaw causing a safety concern for my kids who ride right next to this door. The repair from them is in excess of $1500! Then we are loading up today and bam, second back slider cable breaks! Now this door has our 6 month old baby right next to it! This is our only family vehicle, and to put icing on the cake, the sole provider for the family is off work for a back injury! Honda refuses to pony up and assist with issues despite calls asking why our 4 year old car is falling apart, their answers, normal wear and tear is not covered and we will have to foot the bill entirely on our own! Honda quality is nothing what it used to be and their customer service and support is laughable. Before these issues we were ecstatic to share our new car and tell everybody how great it was, now I would not recommend this car to my worst enemy!

2009 Honda Odyssey purchased out right. From the very first day this van pulled slightly to the left and would on regular occasions pop the steering wheel right out of my hands. I took it to the dealer so many times I lost count. I even had it reported to the general manager for doing a service test drive on the van. They’re claiming nothing was wrong. Yet this would happen out of the blue and catch me off guard. I felt very unsafe in this van and they would not trade it or swap it out. I now wonder if I had financed it if they would have paid better attention. The consequences were I got fed up with Saratoga Honda messing me around. The van spent more time there than in my possession, so I traded it for a Hyundai and have had zero issues. In fact the service department in Queensbury, NY is far better than Honda in Saratoga. More polite more knowledgeable of their product and they treat me like a human being not an empty-headed female which is the way I felt I was being treated in Saratoga. No more business from me. Recently, I bought (April 2011) a 1997 Honda Passport with a blown head for next to nothing. I purchased the vehicle for my two kids to get back and forth from college. I then dumped a couple grand into fixing it. Then in June, I noticed big chunks of rusted steel on my driveway under where the Passport was parked. I crawled underneath it, only to find that the chassis was so rusted out in places that I could place my whole fist into the holes (especially right under the passenger seat/door). I was also able to grab handfuls of rusted and corroded steel from inside the cavity along the chassis.I immediately called the Honda Recall Hotline, and they indicated to me that there was no recall for the 1997 Chassis, but there was a recall starting in 1998 on the frame. “Not to worry”, they said. I was to take it to the dealer to have them access the situation and determine next steps. So, I parked the vehicle in the driveway, and prohibited any one from driving it. I have been so busy with work, but I finally got around to calling the dealer in my area (Roush). They instructed me to set an appointment for them to do a diagnostic check. Oh, and that they will have to charge me for the diagnostic analysis. I told them that it was a bunch of bunk having it; I did not want to pay them any fees. All one has to do is get on their knees; look under the car, and come to the diagnosis that I came to that there is obviously a defect for the steel to be so rusted, that you could put your fist into several areas. Obviously, you do not need to be a rocket surgeon to figure it out, nor do you need to place it on a rack to make an official diagnosis, let alone charge me for it. I told them that I would send them 1000 FREE diagnostic pictures that they could use for their analysis.Since that did not get me anywhere, I asked for Hondas number because I wanted to chat with a regional/district manager in order to obtain approval for the dealer to waive the diagnostic fee. I got the runaround from Heather in recalls. She said that I needed to go back to the dealer; since my vehicle had no recall, she could not obtain approval for a free diagnostic check. She also would not provide me with the district managers name for Honda. She said to me that I needed to get that information from the dealer.I then proceeded to voice my concern on this, and told her that the vehicle isnt safe to be driving even to the dealer. She offered absolutely no concern, nor any valuable customer service. Based on this Honda experience and previous experience with a GMC vehicle, I can tell you GMCs customer service department blows Hondas away. So, now I have to call Roush back in order to obtain the Honda district managers name and number. It makes absolutely no sense and is totally a runaround. I bought the Passport because it was a Honda, only to find out that it is an ISUZU.Honda evidently paid ISUZU to manufacture the Passports which was Hondas entrance into the SUV market. Now I have what I thought was a Honda, which is actually an ISUZU. No wonder why the frame is crap. If you happen to own a Honda Passport manufactured in the years 1995 (first year), 1996 and 1997, check your chassis. If anyone else has this problem, please let me know if you have been able to rectify it with Honda.

I bought a 2013 Honda CRV. The battery would drain after 2-3 days of sitting idle. I got it checked repeatedly at the Honda service department when I bought the vehicle. They kept saying the parasitic draw was within specification, and to disconnect the battery cables if it was going to sit for more than 2 days. So each time I park the car on a Sunday and dont move again until Friday (I walk to work), I have to disconnect the cables, or use a solar charger (I park underground heated parking at my condo). They said it was fine and just to drive it more, for 1.5 hrs at a time every couple days to charge up the battery. Ridiculous! I own two other vehicles (different brands) and they can sit for a couple weeks and start no problem. Never had this before, and have since heard it is common on Hondas. I traded it in for a different vehicle and will never buy a Honda again. Honda Canada customer department refused to acknowledge the problem, as did the dealership.

You say that... we are dedicated to supplying products of the highest quality, yet at a reasonable price for worldwide customer satisfaction. Sometimes you are not, definitely not in this instance. Your goal, so you say is to provide joy through your Business: The Joy of Buying: For those who buy your Products. Sorry, you have provided only sadness, mental harassment, agony and created bad environment and, possibly, of serious accident. You say that, to meet the particular needs of customers in different regions around the world, you base your sales networks, research and development centers and manufacturing facilities in each region. Furthermore, as a socially responsible corporate citizen, you strive to address important environmental and safety issues. This claim is highly doubtful as you have supplied a vehicle without bearing in mind the environmental conditions (at least in this instance) with improper finish and paint job, a manufacturing defect, leading to extreme corrosion which in turn endangers human safety.Such behavior, lack of quality consciousness, disregard for environment and safety, is helping Honda India to destroy the unparalleled legacy of greatness created by your Respected Founder Mr Soichiro Honda. Remember he also said real happiness lies in completion of work using your own brains and skills. Does the shoddy job provided by you make you happy? We refer you to our previous correspondence and would notify you that if you do not arrange to carry out complete corrosion repairs to the a/m Honda motor car free of cost within 21 days hereof, we shall institute legal proceedings in appropriate form against all of you without any further reference to you.The facts are as follows: Purchase of one Honda City was made on 13-14/02/2011 upon payment of full value to you. Owing to inherent manufacturing defects, leading to uncontrolled rusting, corrosion of body, even the front portion of the vehicle has caved in as shown in photos. This particular car, if not the batch, has rusted since last more than 2 to 3 years owing to a serious and severe deficiency somewhere along the factory line. The damage and responsibility thereof can be established by various tests available incl. salt spray tests. You may also wish to carry out tests at any world-renowned lab supervised by a leading expert of forensics in motor cars, specializing in rust/corrosion matters.Your statement formation of rust in car happens due to external natural factors. If that were the case then all cars Honda or otherwise - on Kolkata, if not Indian roads, would start rusting within 1 or 2 years of purchase as it has happened in your case. We own more than 4 cars even more than 20 years old - none is affected by rust as the Honda is, although used equally and parked in the very same covered garage. No stringent quality tests esp. of the paint job at various corners and undulations were carried out by you.The rusting started after 2, and further deteriorated within 3 years of purchase. Despite the vehicle visiting your workshop numerous times, you did not take any notice of the spreading and dangerous rust. Shockingly, only in 2015 after we sent our Honda to your workshop at your request (and after we were forced to complain to your Japan HO about the corrosion), you stated that some parts incl. underbody was rusted, totally ignoring the dangerous and unseemly rusting of the main body of the Honda! In the 4th year, the damage owing obviously to some sort of manufacturing defect by Honda India is even more dangerous than before. We have found innumerable complaints of rusting and corrosion against Honda City cars sold in India. You are surely aware of this fact.Damage is not caused by external factors directly but by manufacturing defect or owing to Honda not taking sufficient care during manufacturing process. Similar damage is seen in other Honda cars probably of same batch. Your excuse of warranty period having expired does not hold any water. You do not desire an amicable resolution of our concern and wish us to proceed legally in the interest of justice and fair play. The vehicle is parked in a covered garage in Alipore where not only 4 more cars of mine but numerous other cars of other owners are parked all of whom would gladly confirm that their cars have not corroded coz their cars are not manufactured by Honda. As a fond lover of my Honda, I ensure personally ensure every morning, that my car is dried thoroughly after being washed and, any extraneous matter, if any, is cleaned. We purchased your product in good faith. We may add that since our complaint, the corrosion has led to the front end of the vehicle under the bonnet to be severely damaged as well, leading to the frontal parts almost falling off the car as you would observe from the spilt slippery material in the photos. You can easily verify all the similar complaints made against Honda about rust/corrosion and find a pattern of an inherent manufacturing defect and the minutest detail of the corrosion by having the vehicle undergo various investigative tests incl. salt test all of which would establish that Honda is guilty. Kindly note that upon expiry of the response period after August 29, 2015 - we would be free to take all possible action against Honda in India and Japan for being duped to buy a vehicle which has corroded owing to obvious manufacturing defect and we would assume that Honda is not interested to rectify the damage.

I bought a 2017 CRV EX. We installed our car seat in the middle back row of the car. The car seat belt buckle and passenger belt buckle were switched, making it unsafe and difficult for the passenger to put on their seat belt. This is surprising to me because I dont think this is a small mistake. Its a safety issue. I called the dealer, Ralph Schomp Honda in Highlands Ranch, where we bought the car, and I was advised to bring it in for a half day inspection. This is already a hassle, to add to that, the dealer also charges $22/day for a loaner car. I feel like I am being hassled for a big mistake that Honda has made. This just doesnt feel right. I recently received a recall notice for a new Honda SXS we purchased. The recall was for a safety issue related to the steering joint assembly. They say they will repair it free of charge. Keep in mind, upon receipt of this notice it is no longer safe to operate the vehicle until an inspection/repair is performed. Thus, rendering the vehicle unusable. The local dealer wants to charge to come pickup the unit or the owner must bring the unit to the dealer for the inspection/repair. Due to COVID-19 we decided to go with the first option. However, thats an additional $100-$150 charge from the dealer for a problem that Honda created! Asked American Honda is they would reimburse and they decided to recite the warranty which exempts them from paying for the transportation. Under normal circumstances this would be acceptable, however, due to COVID one would think they would make an exception and do the right thing for a lifelong customer. NOPE! There are simply too many choices out there when it comes to vehicles and too many other companies willing to do the right thing. Honda will never see my business again and I would recommend anyone looking for a Honda to reconsider and go with a more customer oriented organization that would be more deserving of your business.

Potentially Dangerous Issue with Radio - May sound like an exaggeration, but I assure you, it is not. Let me explain. Imagine how startling it would be to be driving in heavy traffic and then reach for the volume knob of the radio to turn it down, but instantly it goes to full volume. Each time you try to turn it counter-clockwise to decrease the volume, it only gets louder. This has happened many times. It is not consistent, but will happen several times during each week. Well let me start by saying Honda has been my go-to for many years, 14 Honda automobiles, 10 Honda motorcycles, 6 pieces of Honda outdoor power equipment. I must say though the last 2006 Honda Civic that I purchased with 64K miles has bittered me after having to put a motor in this car for a problem that Honda knew they had but refused to stand behind it. After some minor research I have discovered Honda had a major engine block casting problem between 2006-2009 in the civics. I think a recall would have been a better choice for Honda owners rather than a lousy extended warranty period. Honda informed me that I was just out of luck, after all the car does have 64K miles. How much more were you expecting? It was very misfortunate for me as I bought the car privately. What was even sadder is that I am really convinced that the people who sold me this car knew there was a problem, they possibly received the same great customer service from Honda that I did. The car is fantastic, but has a lot of nickel and dime expenses. It gets incredibly costly, but is a good family vehicle overall. It does what we need it to do. I like that it has a lot of room and three row seating. When you have a lot of kids that have a lot of stuff, you need a lot of room for car seats and leg room. Okay, I was a very, very firm believer in owning a Honda. My entire family literally is driving one or has owned one. Even a lot of my extended family and I always vouched for them when people asked about my car. After I found out about the recall in June of 2016, through my sister mind you, I immediately wondered why I was barely finding out about my airbag recall now when someone people had known months before. Later that day I went onto the website to punch in my VIN number and check to see if my vehicle was a part of the unlucky bunch. Unfortunately, it was and my passenger bag was the airbag up for recall. And it just so happens that my boyfriends Honda, which is the same make and model as mine but a year newer, had the same passenger airbag recall as mine.So I called to speak with someone. They gave me the same bit as everyone. You can still drive it. Just dont have a passenger. But I did try to explain my boyfriend had the same problem and if we could just get one alternate transportation vehicle because we are not about to take two separate cars to the grocery store, out of town, or anywhere else that requires us to carpool. They just gave me some ** excuse that there was nothing they could do. For now I should avoid having anyone sit in the passenger side. They suggested I would be fine because my airbag shuts off when no one is in the passenger side and I tried to explain to them MANY, MANY times that my light doesnt turn on to indicate that my airbag is off and of course, same thing goes for my boyfriends car. Of course, that made their ears perk up and I finally got their attention. Or so I thought.Long story short, I called another 15 times, give or take. Every time I got the runaround and no one could help me. Its now the middle of August and someone has FINALLY returned my call regarding this and wouldnt you know it, Ive been denied alternate transportation and they will just order me the part to have my car repaired. Who knows when that will even be. Of course, I may have to pay out of pocket for the defective off switch on the airbag so that was some GREAT news to hear.Regardless, fixing my passenger airbag off switch doesnt fix my problem at all. Both me and my boyfriend have the same car with the same problem. We live together and have NO other means of transportation when we run errands or go out of town. The fact that Honda is just going to take a chance with mine or my boyfriends life is just remarkable. Thank you Honda for showing me your true colors. I will NEVER, EVER purchase another Honda again and I dont plan to refer people to your business. I do plan to tell people of my experience with your company and how youve handled this recall. My recommendation, dont buy a Honda. Avoid, at all costs, purchasing a Honda. Worst customer service of the year. Honda, you are all cowards and I hope you get whats coming to you.

I was not a Honda person until I started researching them and found that everyone who had one had none to rarely any problems with them. In addition to their reliability, their fuel economy is very good and they hold their value if maintained and taken care of. There are vehicles that are more comfortable but if they are sitting in a repair shop draining your bank account and are unreliable as transportation offsets the difference in comfort. I have owned many new vehicles and the most expensive one (a Cadillac STS) is the worst ever for reliability and our Honda CRV has been the best with ZERO problems ever.

Im having the same oil consumption problem with the 2008 Honda Accord that many other owners are having. We bought the car at Anderson Ford in Lincoln, Nebraska and before it was time to change the oil the first time, there was no oil on the dipstick when I checked it. My local mechanic checked it out and couldnt find a problem, so I took it in for the software update, but that had already been done. This is the third Honda weve owned and hope we can continue to be a loyal customer, so I would hope to hear some resolution to this problem. I hope it doesnt come down to someone filing a Class Action suit, etc. Thanks.

My mom drives a 2007 Honda CR-V. Honda issued a recall for the drivers side
My mom drives a 2007 Honda CR-V. Honda issued a recall for the drivers side airbag in early 2016 and, unable to replace the airbag, parked the car behind the dealer and issued her a loaner in February and March of 2016. After 2 months sitting at Honda, they brought her car home so it would be inside a garage while waiting for the airbag replacement. During this time, she had the house on the market so she could move closer to my sister and I as my father passed away. We were concerned that the car would not be available for the 700 mile move all along and expressed this to the dealer who told her she could drive the car all over the country, contrary to what we were hearing in the media and from the Honda itself about the Takata airbag dangers. The house sold and we immediately informed Honda (the dealer and customer support) that we would need a car to move to Illinois. I told Tanya at Honda Customer Support we would have to rent a similar vehicle to pack and make the move if Honda could not replace the airbag in the CR-V. After speaking with Tanya many times, I was told that that we would be fully reimbursed by Honda for the expenses related to the airbag replacement and that there was no daily reimbursement limit. We rented the closest size SUV available (Pathfinder) and packed it for the move. Three days before the move Honda called and said they would be able to replace the airbag a day before the move.I had to unpack the rental car, drive an hour to return it and take a cab back to Honda to pick up the car. We submitted the expense report for $1,292.54 for the rental, gas and cab to Honda. After multiple calls, a reimbursement check for $162.11 arrived, wrong address and wrong payee. It has not been cashed. Honda will not put Tanya on the phone and says now the limit is $32.00 a day. I have made it clear to them that I had asked her multiple times about a reimbursement limit before renting the replacement vehicle and that Tanya said no limit. Honda has blatantly lied and my 79 year old mom is out $1,292.54. I have spent months dealing with this issue. Since I asked Honda more than once about reimbursement rates before renting a replacement vehicle, my mom deserves every penny she spent on this debacle and an apology from American Honda.

I called them several times. The pressure on the wand built up and my husband could not get it to release. They told us to take it to a repair shop. I told them it is a safety issue, if someone was around when that pressure released, it would hurt anyone close by and I did not want to load it and haul it for that reason. It was a commercial heavy duty washer, which we thought would last longer, it is about 3 yrs. old. It is used maybe twice a month, and just for personal use at home.Needless to say it is just sitting out our way so when it blows hopefully no one will get hurt. If they do, I told Dewalt they will be responsible as they have been told and chose to do nothing about it.

Finally was able to get this horrendous situation rectified but I had to take the car to another Honda dealer to do so. Scott Honda, in West Chester PA, was able to quickly diagnose that there was a faulty bearing in the transmission and as such ended up replacing the transmission. ROBERTS HONDA had thr car for 3 weeks and did not diagnose the problem and they gave it back to me with it still making the noise loud and clear. Very good experience with Scott Honds though. Theyre team is very knowledgable, organized and customer service oriented. Only time will tell how well this car holds up but either way Scott Honda definitely has a fan in me!

We love this car (Honda HRV 2016) but this is the first model of the HRV and it rattles considerably on the doors as well as the driver odometer panel. We have taken it in to be serviced twice but no one can seem to fix it. I also think it’s a little noisy and the windows seem loose when they are lower than a quarter of an inch down. But we are planning to lease a new one which we have test driven. I think those bugs have been worked out. It’s a perfect car for a small family like ours!

Trash truck crossed center line and hit driver side door while traveling at 60 mph. Car spun around in front of the trash truck and was broadsided by the truck on the drivers side. Car continued to spin and rear-ended into guard rail dividing highway. Truck then ran over the left front corner of car. Car suffered $15,000 in damages and two sections of frame replaced. Wife was injured with whiplash in back and neck, aneurism on aorta, and seat belt pancreatitis and chest and neck seat belt burns. I was not injured. No air bags deployed in the vehicle. My insurance fixed the car instead of totaling it. The car suffered $10,000 in diminished value. I cant find a lawyer in WV to help me, cant find a lawyer to file suit against Honda for failure of air bags resulting in injury. I went into Honda of Burlington here in Washington and was coming in to pay off my 2021 Honda Accord and was persuaded to purchase another vehicle of lesser quality. Within 24 hours of the purchase I regretted this decision because the car was not of equal quality to the car I had drove in there. The general manager called me to tell me she would not give me my original car back. Again it had not even been 24 hours and I had been calling all morning trying to reach someone in management but they were all in meetings. I just wanted my car back and they refused! Not only was this emotionally damaging but the general manager said she could tell I was upset because I was crying and she said I can tell youre upset so I will let you go after telling me I couldnt have my car back and me begging to get it back. She was absolutely horrible! She did not need to be rude as I never once raised my voice or anything. I simply begged to have my car back. She said no! Have a good day and hung up. I have always supported Honda and am very devastated that this is how they do business! I would not recommended them to anyone! How could you do that to someone? They simply got the better end of the deal and would not give me my car back and also told me to just take and trade the car of lesser quality if I didnt like it. Im done with Honda!!!

I purchased this 2016 Honda pilot certified has powertrain warranty till 2021or 100k. My wife and 3 kids broke down in Canada Sudbury Ontario. I am from Michigan, the vehicle was broken in the middle of nowhere with no phone signal. Thanks god the kids and wife were safe after all, but the very bad experience starts. Towed it to Palladino Honda dealer in Sudbury. Took them 1 week to say that we need a new engine but I can not repair it because it is an American vehicle. I called honda, honda care, my honda dealer. They did not help with anything. After 4 weeks I had to tow my car from them to Southfield Tamaroff honda to get the car repair. Eventually they repaired the car with replicating just the short block of the engine even the rod bearing was broken and metal shaving was all over the engine (car was not washed, no loaner offered, no alignment, bottom screws and push pins missing). Not understanding why they did not change complete engine. It cost me over $2200 to tow it back here and rent the car for my wife, not mentioned all the headache calling every day the honda dealer in Canada and honda customer service where nobody helped even the car was certified and had an extended warranty through honda care. All I wanted is to get refund for the expenses, but no one want to step out and do it (sorry and sorry we understand all these ** answers). Very bad experience, I will never buy a honda again even though I trusted the engineering before no anymore, stay away from honda….

Please, tell me what needs to be done here. I have been to suffering because of this problem.

2006 Honda Civic Dangerous Mechanical problem: Dont be fooled like I was by Hondas reputation. Their cars have tons of problems and the case agents are merely customer service guys and gals with scripts. At 29,000 miles, a bolt got torn off from the tensioner causing a massive chain reaction of broken belts and pulleys. The extended warranty didnt cover it because a bolt shouldnt do that. The guy kept saying wear and tear, but the fact is that it was the bolt that caused the chain reaction and not the belts. Bolts are still intact in cars that were built 50 years ago. When I mentioned that, he said I could reimburse you for the bolt which is $1.50, basically mocking me. I said to him that the reason the labor cost was so high was because of that bolt that flew into the engine and the mechanics supposedly had to spend 7 hours to fetch out (Honda Dealership). The guy was passive-aggressive and very unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and do some major research before buying a Honda. They will live with the reputation of having safe and reliable cars but when it comes to a problem they got to fix, they turn against you. My next car was probably going to be another Honda, not anymore. There are far too many car companies to stand for this. Their cars are supposedly overpriced because of their quality, but that is no longer true. Do some research. Oh, yeah, this whole thing happened while I was driving at 40 miles per hour and it was a really stressful and panicky situation since it all happened out of the blue.

I purchased two cars over the last 6 months, and 5 in the last few years. Not to mention all the people I have sent to Dublin Honda over the last 10 years. I have never been so resentful and betrayed after my last purchase at Dublin Honda, Dublin CA. I trusted them, which of course was my first mistake and my second was not taking care of this immediately. But over the last few months Ive lost my dad. My dog who is only 2 was diagnosed with congenital kidney failure. She is an English Bulldog and the breeder is facing 10 yrs in prison. Ive had to be out of town often lately and in fact the night I purchased this Acura I was leaving town for 3 wks so I purchased at night, then very early the next morning I simply parked it at the airport and didnt have a chance to really view all the things wrong until later. I contacted Steve ** whom is the GM and in charge of the dealership. He gave me the impression that he was going to work with me, and help me to resolve the issues I have with the car I was sold. But upon meeting with him (He told his employees he had to leave for an ER) however when I saw him he indicated he was just about to leave. I told him everything I was concerned about and he said there was nothing he could do. He asked me why I traded in the brand new 2015 Honda Civic I purchased a month before!!! Why is this relevant??? I had the car inspected and it has been found to have so many issues. I couldnt get 14k for the car two months after I purchased it. I spent 20k in CASH. I was told the car had one owner, was in mint condition and so on. The tires are the cheapest worst rated tires on the market, definitely not made for an Acura. The floor has large holes where something has rusted/eaten away at the carpet and left holes. The windshield has a crack. I was given only one broken key, no floor-mats. There are scratches all over that have been painted with a paint pen, dents on quarter panel, front under license plate, frayed leather seats, scratched rims. (ONLY A 4 CYLINDER) I was told it was a V6. I will forward pictures of all the damage and also know I contacted the salesperson a few days after I purchased and told him about the scratches and dents. I think the worst part of this entire situation is how badly Steve ** has treated me. This is after 10 yrs of loyal dedication to the dealership. He didnt even try to work on fixing any of these issues. In very good condition this car isnt worth 14k!!!

Since my car was new. At 300 miles, I discovered all the fluids were below the recommended marks. The car was never PDId and Honda acknowledged this. At 600 miles, the power steering and engine have been vibrating/making noise. Honda inspected my car several times and it was not until the car was over 2000 miles that they decided to replace the power steering pump. The vibration, they said it was all fixed and done. Honda was supposed to re-inspect the car in early February 2012. I am still waiting for a call from Chris, my case manager. The car is still vibrating at idle; the power steering is still making noises and also vibrates. Front suspension, which was also a problem at 300 miles (according to the dealer who tightened bolts) is still making noises and vibrates. This is a brand new car, and now, at little over 6000 miles, I am ready to get rid of it and take legal actions against American Honda. I have all the documentation from each dealer/mechanic visit.I also have all telephone conversations with Honda (I work in the customer service/hospitality industry and I cannot switch this off for Hondas case manager) and I am scheduled to have a specialized engineer inspect my car for faults to pursue legal actions. I purchased a 2013 Honda Accord Sport from Port Charlotte Honda Volkswagen
I purchased a 2013 Honda Accord Sport from Port Charlotte Honda Volkswagen and took delivery on October 1, 2012. While I am very pleased with the vehicle in general, an issue has arisen that is now making me have doubts about the quality of your vehicles. About a month after having the car, while driving on the highway, I noticed that there was excessive wind noise in the cabin and that the issue was originating from the front windows when at speeds of 70 mph and over. Due to my hectic work schedule, I was not able to schedule an appointment for service immediately but did so eventually and had an appointment for an oil change and the wind noise issue addressed at the Port Charlotte Honda Volkswagen dealership service department. My service advisor was not aware of the issue prior to me dropping the car off because of how new the car is. Prior to making my appointment, I had researched the issue on various Honda forums and found that several other 2013 Honda Accord owners were experiencing the same issue. After much research, I found that Honda had issued the following: TSB A13-010 - Wind Noise at the Drivers or Front Passengers Window: 2013 Accord 4-Door L4 From VIN 1HGCR2, DA000001 through 1HGCR2, DA035705; 2013 Accord 4-Door V6 From VIN 1HGCR3F, DA000001 through 1HGCR3F, DA007274.My service advisor was able to locate the TSB and I was excited to hear that the issue would be resolved. However, after picking the car up later that day, I found that the problem was still there. I immediately called my service advisor, who was absolutely great, and informed him that the issue was still there. He requested that I bring the car back in to have the shop foreman have another look at it. I did as requested and the shop foreman and I took a drive together and he acknowledged that the problem was still there. We also test drove a new one off the lot for comparison and found that it too had wind noise in the front of the cabin, just not as severe as mine. He informed me that he did as the TSB directed and that he does not know what else he can do at this point. He was very understanding and very apologetic and I appreciated that.At that point, I became very discouraged but still hopeful that a new fix would be issued. However, there has been none to date and I feel at times that the noise is increasing. It has gotten to the point that when I am on the highway, I am not able to use my Bluetooth feature because folks on the other end complain of not being able to hear me. I am embarrassed to take people in my car because of the noise. I normally have to turn the radio volume up just to drown out the sound when my frustration sets in. This is my third Honda Accord but first brand new one. Prior to purchasing this particular car, I had owned two brand new BMWs and never had to deal with this sort of quality issue. Now, Im not comparing the two cars because pricing makes the two makes completely different. However, I feel that brand new cars should have quiet cabins and that is a selling point that Honda uses to encourage and promote sales. Incidentally, due to certain finance issues, I had to finance an additional $4k on top of MSRP due to banking charges, which makes this matter even more frustrating because I am paying much more for the car overall.I requested that Honda open a case and extend itself as much as possible to assist me in addressing this issue in any way that is fair. I also feel that I should be compensated for what Ive had to endure for these past 6 months. I pay $617.78 a month for the note on the car and have done so for the past 5 months which equals $3,088.90. While Im not expecting Honda to reimburse me that amount, I feel that out of fairness, Honda should extend itself to have the issue addressed correctly and reimburse me some of that because the product was not issued as advertised and at this point, I am stuck with the car since a trade in of this vehicle for something else would yield such negative equity that I would be too far in the hole.On 03/12/2013, I finally got a call back from Honda Motor Co. and according to the case manager, after speaking to the dealership regarding the 2013 Honda Accord, the wind noise is a characteristic of the vehicle. I requested that they provide that to me in writing, so that I can further pursue the issue and they refused to put that in writing. It appears to me that they are trying to not acknowledge the issue because that would affect sales if more people knew about the issue prior to purchase.

Ive been on Hondas since the late 60s, dirt, trail & blacktop versions. Ive had other brands (primarily cruisers), but have been disappointed and have returned home to Honda. After playing in the dirt during my youth I graduated finally to the Wings. Got my first Wing in 1984 right out of the crate. Put over 250K on her and traded her in on a shiny new SEI in 1986. Kept the SEI in pristine condition until a moving company broke her during a military move & purchased a 95 anniversary edition, which I still have today. Ive had hog riders tell me she isnt a real bike and Ive told them that they are correct - shes a Cadillac convertible on 2 wheels. Unlike an ultra glide I can be on her with my wife, all day long and at the end of a long day of 400+ miles I can still walk. Three cruisers, all with over 200K miles doing nothing more than typical scheduled maintenance or replacing small parts e.g., tires, brake pads etc. Ive known several people that have well over a half-million miles on Wings and are still going strong - figure out how many V-twins youd go through in that many miles. Ive been thinking of trading in the 95 for another new bike, but really do Not like the most recent version of the Wing. Ive been on the BMW cruiser and Ive got to admit, it really has me thinking of changing. Thirty-five years of loyalty with Wings is hard to shake, but they (Honda) seem intent on taking one of their best lines (Goldwing) and making it into another sports bike. Buy a good used one if you can find one, youll be very happy you did.

Since the day I bought my Honda Twister in December, here are the regular issues I have faced. The loan that was quoted to me by the Honda representative was 33,500, but later the loan sanctioned was 38,000. In my first service they tried to charge me, then I just paid for oiling. Then in the second service, they charged for wheel cart and didnt even repair it, and in the third service they again made a bill of 1,000. I just feel they fool the customers and I am highly annoyed from day one. Please take some quick action.

Something needs to be done about Hondas defective STARTERS, Like a recall. I purchased my 2014 Certified Honda EX from you guys last year. The car was very new. Only 18,000 miles on it. I just had to have my car which has 50,000 miles on it towed! I had to rent a car till this is fixed. This is inexcusable. I bought a HONDA for their known reliability and 0 mechanical issues. This is my 5th and most expensive Honda and I barely got 1 year out of the car for a VERY expensive fix. I did not take it to a dealer because I knew they would rake me over the coals on expense. I did request my mechanic buy a HONDA starter, not some knock off brand. We shall see if this starter works.I spoke to customer service at Honda USA in Calif. and they told me they were unaware of this issue. Go online. You will see HUNDREDS of complaints regarding bad starters! I am requesting compensation on this cost either from Wild Honda or from Honda USA. You guys are selling new cars with DEFECTIVE STARTERS in them. This must stop or you will have a class action lawsuit on your hands. I am requesting a call back from Honda USA on this issue.

We are leasing a brand new Honda Accord - 5 months old. The paint bubbles up all over the hood and sides of car - after bubbling up, it will chip off - then it appears as stone chips as we were told by Honda managers. We waited for over 3 weeks for a response... Stone does not cause paint to bubble up and chip off. Pictures have been taken, but does not show the real thing. A visual inspection was made by one Honda district manager and owner of dealership - it was wrote off as stone chips. Its horrible - all over the front. Our 2003 Honda Accord was in better condition than our new one. The customer representative 3,000 miles away from Honda had her mind made up along with Honda reps before it was even investigated. Next step - go to a professional collision/paint representative for our own assessment - legal counseling? We dont know... but we will not give up. Its a lot of money to spend leasing a brand new car and have the paint chip off. Stones do NOT cause bubbling of paint!! We are totally done with Honda - we always swore by Honda... Now we cant wait till our lease is up!! We were told paint chips arent covered by warranty... which we understand... but this is paint chipping off and bubbling up of paint... The paint actually lifts up and then chips off... Pictures do not show the significance of the problem.

I love cruising on the highway and was looking for a powerful bike for this purpose. Honda is the most trusted two-wheeler brand anywhere in the world and I selected the CB1100EX after taking a test ride and going through reviews. Trust me, this is an amazing bike. The build quality is solid. Honda has used premium parts to make this motorcycle. I have commanded other cruise bikes but the happiness and satisfaction that I got from the CB1100EX were unparalleled. The riding posture is straight up. The seat is comfortable and spacious which reduces rider fatigue

In December 2014 I purchased a new 2015 Honda Accord. On July 9, 2015 my AIR CONDITIONER stopped working. I live in Florida where the summer is extremely hot making even the shortest of trips very uncomfortable. I took my car to the dealership the next morning for service, knowing that I have a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty in addition to an extended warranty. I was sure that the repair would be covered under warranty. I was informed that a rock/pebble had pierced my condenser which put a pinhole in it, and it is NOT covered under warranty. Honda indicated that the cost to fix the condenser is $716.85. I went to the dealership twice to speak with the General Manager to see if this can be resolved given that my car is only 8 months old with only 9000 miles and I was told to go through my insurance company. I also reached out to Honda of America and was told that the damage was caused by road debris and is not covered under warranty. This is an obvious design flaw. The Honda air-conditioning condenser is unduly prone to damage caused by normal road debris that does not affect other auto manufacturers condenser design. As with other auto makers, the front bumper clip is wide open to any kind of road debris and the condenser sits right behind the front air intake with NO protection at all. However, this typical design poses a problem for the Honda condensers and will happen over & over again, and Honda refuses to do anything about it calling it normal and working as designed! This should be a recall.

Paid over $800 for tires and alignment and after I drove off I realized I had to force the wheel to the right for it to stay on the road. Then to test it I let go of the steering wheel multiple times and it immediately pulled to the left. I called the service department three times to speak with the man who oversaw my service, he didnt answer. So I made a u-turn and returned the vehicle. He did a test drive and came up with new terms to explain why its pulling and blamed it on the road. Three different men drove the car three different times on the main road including the technician and claimed nothing is wrong with the car. They refused to service it or even take a look at it. I told them not to drive out my gas and my mileage. They still took the car anyways and drove it around. The manager asked at first I said no then yes. He also did everything to try and keep the car on the road but still refused to service it or replace the gas in my car. As he was testing the car he was raising his voice at me saying its the road the car is pulling because of the road. I will never ever return to any Honda dealer to service or purchase a car. They are a bunch of criminals running a business.

Honda customer service and Jazz/Fit the worst. Parts fall apart like no other car I have ever owned, and dealers acknowledge the faults but Honda turns a blind eye. (Wear and tear - a year after the purchase in the first case of the same issue!) Being reviewed by Consumer Affairs, wouldve hoped for better. Toyota or Subaru for me.

I purchased a 2011 Ridgeline and within the 5 years it has 30k miles and has been in the shop 20 times and still has to go in again. Problems from oil leaks to windows not working in the cold. Honda and the dealer wont step up and take responsibility for this lemon. The lemon law board in Vermont was the biggest waste of time ever. They wont let me show my evidence that this was a lemon. Makes me wonder who is paying them off. My first Ridgeline that was made in Canada was an unbelievable vehicle. This Ridgeline was made in Alabama. Typical USA quality. Ill never deal with Honda USA or auto master ever again.

I have owned Honda cars for over 28 years and have been very happy with them but I feel a need to mention one concern I have with Honda cars - the body frame. I admit that I hold onto your vehicle for a long time since they perform so well but each time I have had to replace my car, it is due to the body frame rusting out, never the engine. It is frustrating to have the engine performing like a champ but the body giving out.

I own 2007 Civic, Honda issued a warranty on engine block, overheat cause a crack in the engine to which they are covering only the engine block and the warranty doesnt apply towards other part of the engine which will surely damage because of the original issue. In my case, service rep found that cylinder head is damaged and after keeping me on phone for several hours and keep me waiting for 2 days they replied they wont cover. This costed me $2500 which is same if I take it to other mechanic (quoted $2900 to rebuild whole engine).

I had given my Honda City car for service at Peninsular Honda, Calicut, but when I went to collect it, they told me that they have lost my car key. Though they promised to replace the key and lock system, they have not done it so far. Its completely their responsibility, and I didnt expect such service from a Honda showroom. Please do the required procedures.

My 2008 certified used Honda Accord (SDN/4 DR, EX-L) was hit hard from the front left side and none of my airbags deployed. I was at a stand still (at a stop sign), the fast oncoming vehicle crashed into me causing me to skid 10 feet, knocking my front bumper off, shattering my windows and I have been told my front axle is broke. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol recommended I file a complaint since none of my airbags deployed.

I live in Baraut, U.P. and I purchased a Honda Activa from Subhan Sai Honda Najafgarh in Nov. 2011 (no-**). After 10 days, there was a problem with that engine and I informed our nearest dealer in Baraut but there was no action taken by that dealer. After that, I informed Mayapuri Honda dealer (because my local address is near, by Mayapuri). But after 15 days, that dealer had taken action and he changed some parts of the engine and I paid 3000 Rs for that. Now, again, I am facing the same problem and my Activa is at my home (Baraut). The local dealer is saying, I will not do anything; you will have to take it to the same agency where you purchased from. This is very difficult for me because I am working in Gurgaon. How can I take it to Najafgarh from Baraut? My concern is that if there is any problem, then the local dealer should take the responsibility as he is a family of Honda.

I traded in my Dodge Challenger for a brave new 2019 Honda Civic sport due to commuting. Don’t waste your money, the car is made of plastic, you lean on it or even knock something lightly against it you will have a dent. For a $26,000 car. The sensor system is piece of **! Lights come on for no reason, I take it to Honda and they want to charge hundreds of dollars to fix problems that I did not cause as I keep the maintenance and upkeep on the car up. The tires are **! I’ve had my car for 3 months and have had 3 issues with my tires. I’ve never had issues with cars until this nightmare. Don’t purchase a 2019 Honda!

I have a new 2012 Honda Jazz Hybrid in my ownership. Overall, I am very satisfied with the car. But after the maintenance at 15,000 kilometers, the oil in the engine was replaced in one authorized Honda Israel service. After oil replacement, I just haven’t recognized my car responses. Also, the fuel consumption has increased a bit. In the service manual, it is suggested to use Honda Green Oil for all hybrid cars. The C/N is 0282P99S4LHE. Instead of this oil, they put inside C/N 0282P99G4LHE and they claimed that Honda approved this replacement. That’s the same answer I got from a local customer service agent. My request to put Green Oil wasnt successful. They told me that there is no Green Oil in stock and I have to order it 4 weeks before the next service on 30,000 kilometers. My question is what I am supposed to do in this situation? Thanks in advance.

I purchased my 2021 Honda Accord on June 19, 2021 and on June 21, 2021 my transmission went out after 200 miles! I took it into a Honda dealership and was told they would need to replace the transmission, which I was not happy about having a service record on my brand new Honda! I called Hondas customer service on June 22 and let them know the situation and they created a case. I have yet to receive a call back after countless follow ups and voicemails to my case worker! I created a new case on July 14 due to the lack of response and I just received a follow up today 8/5. I have always enjoyed my Hondas but this poor experience has me looking at Toyota going forward. One thing I will not stand for is poor communication and customer service. My case workers voicemail says it may take up to 14 days to respond and that was 45 days ago. Ridiculous!
