I have to say that I was told that the Honda Accord was the car to get for reliability, value and performance. I bought the EX v-6 and soon found out that the front brakes are choppy every time you stop going over 30 miles per hour. Then the engine misfired at 43000 miles. That was the 2 cylinder that was later covered under the legal settlement with Honda, but my 5th cylinder misfired at 69000 miles and that was not covered. You are only covered for the first 4 cylinders and that really irked me because it cost 300 bucks for a new coil and spark plug. I am quite angry with Honda on this misfire issue and they seem to be ignoring what a real problem it is.

2014 Honda Crosstour - After 3 months the driver door trim started peeling. I took it to dealership, they replaced it. After 1 1/2 months it has started again. As a goodwill gesture they will replace it one more time. I talked to customer service at Honda and they say its not a defect even though they see it happening on other Hondas.

We brought our leased 2010 Honda Accord EX-L in for a routine oil change and were told that the rear brakes needed replacing. We only have 29,500 miles on the car and were told that we would have to pay for the brake job. This is the 5th Honda Accord we have leased and we never had a problem like this. Our lease is up in November of this year and we are having second thoughts about another Honda lease. Being a front wheel drive vehicle, why are the rear brakes worn and not the front brakes?

I have a 2011 CRV with 24,000 miles in it. (I drive 80 miles a day). In November 2011, I had a software update from a recall, that adjusted the timing. I was getting 32 mpg consistently on the highway, and 28 when I did city driving. After the update, I cant get anything more than 26, city or highway. Honda said to have the dealer check it. They did, and everything was okay, as far as they were concerned. Then Honda said to have the dealer run a mileage check. The dealer said there is no such thing, other than looking at the mpg indicator. Honda says if it is within the normal range, then there is nothing they can do. No one can give me a number for normal range. I keep getting the runaround from Honda. I have the extended warranty as well. This will cost me over $900 a year in added fuel cost at the current prices.

Certified used warranty is a scam. Honda sold me a certified used vehicle under their program that guarantees a 151-point inspection. Right out of the dealership, the car had a burnt accessory fuse, missing tire change tools, and garbage in the spare tire well under the trunk. This leads me to believe they did not check all the fuses and they did not check to see if a spare tire was even included with the vehicle, let alone properly inflated. They did not offer compensation for failing to check these points in their original inspection and they did not agree to perform another 151-point inspection at my request. It is now 14 months after I purchased the vehicle and only about 8,000-9,000 miles on the car from since we bought it. The power steering pump had a major failure; repair is quoted at $740.01. They refuse to repair the vehicle at no cost since non-powertrain warranty only covers 12-months/12,000 miles. I would typically accept this response, but I feel as if the car was never fully inspected like they advertised. A power steering pump should not have a major failure after 8,000-9,000 miles. I should not have this much difficulty explaining my frustration to Honda, a company that prides itself on reliable cars and helpful people, especially with such low mileage on the vehicle.

After my accident and insurance inspection, there were four to five damaged parts which were to be replaced (caused due to accident) and was told that within seven to ten working days, I will get the car back. I have been waiting everyday but things seem to proceed further.Today, after three weeks of continuous chase, I finally get an answer from Ayub ** (General Manager of Hall Mark Honda) that the spare parts are still not available and will let me know by tomorrow for the exact status. Ayub also mentioned that I may also put up a complaint on customer care. Today, I have made a complaint to the Customer Care--my complaint number is **.In the beginning, when we were to give the vehicle for servicing, why didnt they check with their big company for the spare parts prior to giving commitments to us? I require my car for commuting to work on a daily basis and with such delays and poor service, it is really not worth buying a Honda car.I have gotten sick and tired with no correct feedback, following-up with the branch, and getting atrocious responses like, we shall get back to you in two hours or the responsible person is not available. I really think that Honda is testing our patience. Such inadequate service and inefficient staff! We will no longer seek or expect any help from your branchs disinterested individuals, who seems to be highly skilled ** jugglers.Kindly consider my dissatisfaction and disappointment with such useless services and try to solve my query soon. It is suffice to say that I have now given up on my futile and foolhardy quest but I still hope to receive some kind of service from you. I am awaiting immediate response.

Now Im officially freaked out. I bought a 2021 new HR-V from Huntington Honda (NY) and I’m discovering this new car with all this rust. I showed it to two local mechanics who are shocked and confused as to why there is rust underneath the steering column. I also noted the rust underneath my 31-day old 2021 Honda HR-V. Is this normal? And is there missing insulation in the photo next to the steering column? Is that maybe why these models make a horrible annoying noise when driving 35 plus miles an hour? I’m talking about a piercing whistling noise whenever I crack open a window or moon roof, which according to Huntington Honda, the noise appeared in 2 other 2021 HR-Vs they test drove, and I’m supposed to live with this as if it’s normal. There’s video of this whistling issue in YouTube regarding a 2018 HR-V. In the comments for that video, you’ll see many other Honda HR-V owners complain about the same issue. Did I buy a lemon? Does Honda make bad cars or does Huntington just sell a batch of badly built Hondas. Im wondering if the 0% APR was just a ploy so they could get rid of defectively built cars. I bought this new HRV because I wanted a safe vehicle for my family. The purchase was supposed to be such a joyous thing. What a mistake! My entire family is flipping out! What the hell else is wrong w this car?Anyone experiencing this with the new Hondas or cars from Huntington Honda? Would I have had a better luck at a different Honda dealer? Should I have bought a Toyota, Nissan, or Hyundai? Im super stressed about how much I spent on this car, and no one from the dealer is calling me back, responding timely or willing to help me resolve this. BTW, heres the YouTube video of the horrible noise that these Hondas are making. **

Having owned 5 Hondas over the last 15 years, I can tell you this is NOT the same company it once was! Customer Service, WAS their strong point, and was upheld to a standard that surpassed the industry. NOW it is just MAINSTREAM... MAYBE EVEN WORSE! We are getting ready to purchase our new vehicle and it will NOT be a HONDA. Not because the vehicles are faulty... but because the service standards have fallen to a level of disgust and unethical practices. I booked an appointment with Honda for April 12th, 2016 at 10 am in order to take off four winter tires, replace them with all season tires and replace the air filter. This is a very routine service and one that can be done in less than 45 minutes. This was performed in Thunder Bay, Ontario at the Gore Motors service center. After dropping off the vehicle there was no communication between them and myself and at 6 pm I decided to call. I called 15 times between 6 pm and 8 pm (close) with no answer and absolutely no update on my vehicle. I had to work a night shift as a health care professional at the local hospital and as a result, had to take a taxi to work. This is absolutely unacceptable and frankly, embarrassing. This service was not provided because I am a woman. If this was an adult male the service would have been completed in an hour with no issue. This is horrible for our society, especially for a multinational corporation prominent in the Thunder Bay community. There was no apology provided when I reached the service center at 8:30 am and I was still required to pay the service fee. Such an ordeal was completely unnecessary and it does not take 10 hours to perform an extremely basic service, so either the employees were incompetent or did not provide the sufficient services because I am a young woman. I hope the Customer Service Department sees this complaint and takes action because there is no place for this in our society and I was stranded without a vehicle, which is unjust and unethical. I hope this never happens again and right now have absolutely no desire to ever enter another Honda Service Center with such poor customer service professionals.

After waiting more than four hours for an oil change and the repair of the defogger I was informed that the work was not covered although I still have bumper-to-bumper coverage. I called Honda Care; they told me that the work should be covered. I called both Jose and Maribel on separate days and was assured that they would contact Honda Care and would get back to me. I bought a Galaxy Gray Honda Civic LX Sedan new on Memorial Day weekend in 2008. In 2014, I noticed that the paint on the roof was fading (it looked like it had been rubbed really hard in some areas and just came off). A 6-year old car with fading paint? That made no sense, so I checked and found there was a Honda bulletin issued addressing the paint issues and that they would repaint the affected areas. I took it to the dealer where I bought it, they kept it for two weeks and didnt offer me a loaner. They acted like they were doing me this huge favor by repainting it for free. They had a body shop repaint the roof, hood, and front fenders. I thought that was the end of it. Well, at about 7.5 years of age, the paint started coming off the trunk. I went back to the dealer and was told sorry, its out of warranty. We cant do anything for you. Now the car is 9 years old and the paint is coming off two of the doors as well as the trunk. Also, the rubber stripping along both sides of the windshield cracked and broke off, and the rubber trim along two of the windows has done the same. Im very disappointed. This is my third Honda Civic; I previously had an 89 and a 98 and had no problems like this. My car only has 87,000 miles on it, so it should last me at least another 9 years; its just going to look like crap unless I spend $$$ to repaint it. Why didnt Honda just repaint the entire car when they had it? The quotes Im getting to repaint the affected areas range from $1500 to $2100. I trusted Honda due to my previous experiences, but this will be my last Honda. When Consumer Reports asked me if I would buy this car again, I had to answer No. When I hear or see those Helpful SoCal Honda Dealer commercials, I turn the channel. Theyll help complete strangers with things, but they wont help their own customers! Their quality has really gone downhill and they just dont seem to care.

I have to fix it at the body shop with my own cost. The Honda technician blame on the accident reported that may cause the paint scraped off. But accident report did not really tell what kind of accident. So I took the car to body shop and they told me the problem start at the door seal have a hole right at the rust is. I live in Baraut, U.P. and I purchased a Honda Activa from Subhan Sai Honda Najafgarh in Nov. 2011 (no-**). After 10 days, there was a problem with that engine and I informed our nearest dealer in Baraut but there was no action taken by that dealer. After that, I informed Mayapuri Honda dealer (because my local address is near, by Mayapuri). But after 15 days, that dealer had taken action and he changed some parts of the engine and I paid 3000 Rs for that. Now, again, I am facing the same problem and my Activa is at my home (Baraut). The local dealer is saying, I will not do anything; you will have to take it to the same agency where you purchased from. This is very difficult for me because I am working in Gurgaon. How can I take it to Najafgarh from Baraut? My concern is that if there is any problem, then the local dealer should take the responsibility as he is a family of Honda.

I purchased two cars over the last 6 months, and 5 in the last few years. Not to mention all the people I have sent to Dublin Honda over the last 10 years. I have never been so resentful and betrayed after my last purchase at Dublin Honda, Dublin CA. I trusted them, which of course was my first mistake and my second was not taking care of this immediately. But over the last few months Ive lost my dad. My dog who is only 2 was diagnosed with congenital kidney failure. She is an English Bulldog and the breeder is facing 10 yrs in prison. Ive had to be out of town often lately and in fact the night I purchased this Acura I was leaving town for 3 wks so I purchased at night, then very early the next morning I simply parked it at the airport and didnt have a chance to really view all the things wrong until later. I contacted Steve ** whom is the GM and in charge of the dealership. He gave me the impression that he was going to work with me, and help me to resolve the issues I have with the car I was sold. But upon meeting with him (He told his employees he had to leave for an ER) however when I saw him he indicated he was just about to leave. I told him everything I was concerned about and he said there was nothing he could do. He asked me why I traded in the brand new 2015 Honda Civic I purchased a month before!!! Why is this relevant??? I had the car inspected and it has been found to have so many issues. I couldnt get 14k for the car two months after I purchased it. I spent 20k in CASH. I was told the car had one owner, was in mint condition and so on. The tires are the cheapest worst rated tires on the market, definitely not made for an Acura. The floor has large holes where something has rusted/eaten away at the carpet and left holes. The windshield has a crack. I was given only one broken key, no floor-mats. There are scratches all over that have been painted with a paint pen, dents on quarter panel, front under license plate, frayed leather seats, scratched rims. (ONLY A 4 CYLINDER) I was told it was a V6. I will forward pictures of all the damage and also know I contacted the salesperson a few days after I purchased and told him about the scratches and dents. I think the worst part of this entire situation is how badly Steve ** has treated me. This is after 10 yrs of loyal dedication to the dealership. He didnt even try to work on fixing any of these issues. In very good condition this car isnt worth 14k!!!

We bought the car to take advantage of an employee benefit of free charging (up to 3 hours), but the vehicle cannot sustain uninterrupted charging. Numerous attempts to restart charging will cause the vehicle to malfunction including inability to start the car. When I call Honda corporate, they say there is nothing they will do. They also interrupt, talk over me, and are extremely rude & unprofessional. That is unacceptable, so I keep calling back. Hello, I visited Metro Honda service center on 4/8/2019 for regular service
Hello, I visited Metro Honda service center on 4/8/2019 for regular services. They change oil in my car on 28,503 miles and my current miles is 30,245 so just after I drive 1742 miles my cars oil life is 60% left. Actually when my car was on 30,000 miles that time I found that my cars oil life is now just 60% left. I clearly feels that this service center done something wrong with my car because as per my research I know that Honda Civic 2016 Ex-T model have synthetic oil and that have normally life of 7500 miles. In my car already 40% oil life is finished so I will get oil change soon around at 31,500-32,000 miles (from now after 1500 to 2000 miles). Every time I go to this service center and they are only the people changing oil in my car when this time I went there that customer service representative asked me that, Why are you just coming here for oil change and and why tire rotation and other services you are not giving us to do it here. I told them because they are charging too much money and not doing proper services so then customer service representative told me that, then why do you came here for oil change, go to the another service center who ever is giving you cheaper service, and that time I didnt give him any answer but I feel that this is not the right way to talk with the Honda customer. I am using Honda car because I have trust on the company. I strongly feels they did something wrong with my cars oil that why 40% of oil life finished too much early and previously I never seen that my oil life reduce this much faster. I am using my car daily. I have another same model car that is also 2016 Honda civic Ex turbo model and same silver color but that car I bought from another dealer and in that car also I drive same mileage and still in that car I change my cars oil around at 6000+ miles every time. I have trust on Honda that why I am using two same model of cars because I am driving it everyday. So I want refund for this oil change and also I want proper service for my car. I clearly feels that Metro Honda from where I bought my car and there I am going every time for oil change they did something wrong. Also, one more thing I would like to describe here that is before around 10 months ago at this service center they found that in one of my cars back side tire due to manufacturing fault there was something wrong with the brake and that they found after 2 years and 3 months after I drive my car for 24000 miles around. This is the thing which is risky for someones life. So you can imagine how much great services they are providing to the Honda customers.I want you to know that this is not a good business practice where they didnt behave good with the Honda customer and not giving them proper service. Please take some strict action on this and I want a clear justice for my car. Please fix my cars oil life problem. I hope I will get back very soon from the Honda Company and please solve the issue in my car with the oil life. -Harsh

It started when my check engine light was on while I was driving on the freeway. The car started to jerk once in a while. Luckily I got home safe not to mention my toddler was in the backseat plus Im pregnant, too. My Honda Accord Coupe V6 is a 2001 model, but it only has 64,000 to it. My transmission needed to be replaced. I had contacted Honda Corporation to see if they can help me out since one of our friend had the same problem with a 1999 model. The case couldnt even hold a chance because the insensitive case worker told me I had no chance with a 10-year old car and the warranty was expired 3 years ago. I never received the warranty letter. Now I have to make a decision to pay the $4900 to install the new transmission or walk away from my car that hasnt been with the 64,000 miles to it.

I am driving a HONDA MOBILIO Car in INDIA which was bought by me in April 2015. On 03/12/2015 while travelling from Ernakulam to Kollam on official trip along with 3 other colleagues, halfway thru the right side quarter panel glass (glass pcs between back door and the dicky door) automatically shattered. When we checked with the service centres they said they have never come across such instance before and this can be claimed only under insurance. We are not ready to accept this. This should be a product defect since there was no other reason we could see. Has anybody else faced such a issue?

Potentially Dangerous Issue with Radio - May sound like an exaggeration, but I assure you, it is not. Let me explain. Imagine how startling it would be to be driving in heavy traffic and then reach for the volume knob of the radio to turn it down, but instantly it goes to full volume. Each time you try to turn it counter-clockwise to decrease the volume, it only gets louder. This has happened many times. It is not consistent, but will happen several times during each week. I have reported this to the Honda Dealer, they did nothing. This is startling and dangerous since it shocks the driver and creates a big distraction, possibly panic within the car.

This is my 3rd Honda minivan and will be my last, since Honda doesnt want to stand behind their paint job on my van that is peeling in multiple areas. I was told by general manager at a Honda dealership to file a claim on it. I called, filed a claim. They gave me a case number. Had me take it to local Honda dealer to have it inspected. The case manager from Honda called me after about 2 weeks and told me the cost to repaint my whole van is $2,319.42 and I would have to pay $1700 of it since Im out of warranty he said. I told him I wasnt out of warranty. When I called the man told me I was still under warranty. This case manager wanted to argue with me saying what I was told was wrong.I just read an article on Consumer Reports that Honda extended their paint warranty to 7 years and unlimited mileage. My van was bought new 2014 and its only 4 years old with 95k miles. I even have a body shop who fixed my tailgate under the care plan I bought additionally but they said when they went to fix the tailgate from the peeling paint it was so bad the paint came off in strips and that paint didnt adhere to the primer if any primer was even put on it. But the van is also peeling now in additional areas and Honda thinks I should have to pay $1700.I told the caseworker if Honda had did the paint job the right way the first time I wouldnt be having this problem, I said I would be willing to split the cost to paint the whole van but will not pay most of it. This was last week. The case manager said he would relay my response and I havent heard back from them. I have had a total of 5 minivans: 3 Hondas, 1 Nissan Quest and 1 Chrysler Town and Country and this 2014 Honda van is the only one I have ever had paint peeling off of it.

Ive been on Hondas since the late 60s, dirt, trail & blacktop versions. Ive had other brands (primarily cruisers), but have been disappointed and have returned home to Honda. After playing in the dirt during my youth I graduated finally to the Wings. Got my first Wing in 1984 right out of the crate. Put over 250K on her and traded her in on a shiny new SEI in 1986. Kept the SEI in pristine condition until a moving company broke her during a military move & purchased a 95 anniversary edition, which I still have today. Ive had hog riders tell me she isnt a real bike and Ive told them that they are correct - shes a Cadillac convertible on 2 wheels. Unlike an ultra glide I can be on her with my wife, all day long and at the end of a long day of 400+ miles I can still walk. Three cruisers, all with over 200K miles doing nothing more than typical scheduled maintenance or replacing small parts e.g., tires, brake pads etc. Ive known several people that have well over a half-million miles on Wings and are still going strong - figure out how many V-twins youd go through in that many miles. Ive been thinking of trading in the 95 for another new bike, but really do Not like the most recent version of the Wing. Ive been on the BMW cruiser and Ive got to admit, it really has me thinking of changing. Thirty-five years of loyalty with Wings is hard to shake, but they (Honda) seem intent on taking one of their best lines (Goldwing) and making it into another sports bike. Buy a good used one if you can find one, youll be very happy you did.

On Friday, January 11th, 2013, I left Massachusetts and drove up to New Brunswick, Canada which is about a 9-hour ride. Upon arrival that evening, I parked my car in the driveway and left it sit as usual overnight. Next morning, I unlocked the door and opened the drivers side to a smell of burnt plastic and smoke. Immediately, I noticed the dash info screen and GPS area was melted and realized my passenger side floor was burnt. The glove compartment was melted shut and all wiring was exposed. The windshield was completely smoked up and the ceiling too. I was immediately in touch with my local agent at the Herb Chambers Seekonk, Mass location and they were all pretty worried at the moment and requested that I buy a flight back to Mass, which I did with their approval and reimbursement authorization from Honda. My agent requested that I drop the car off at the local Honda dealership in New Brunswick and I returned back to Massachusetts the day after. My local Honda Herb Chambers has informed me that they will not help me and have requested that I return their loaner car which I also had to do.Remember that only 14 months ago I bought a brand new 2012 Honda Crosstour from them full warranty but they still have told me that I am on my own and that I have to deal with American Honda which has been a total nightmare. The car was shipped back on US ground and brought to Maine where the dept manager took a few pictures and looked over the damage but did not go in to the dash or look internally. I did contact this gentleman and asked him what he thought happened and he said that based on what he saw, it was clearly a faulty wire or condensation started fire due to the change in cold weather.I have since then tried to connect with several people at American Honda in Torrance, CA to try and help me and at least identify what really happened here but Honda has refused to help or further investigate or even acknowledge some sort of defect or internal issue with their brand new 2012 Honda Crosstour. This totally boggles my mind how a corporation like Honda could do this.Wouldnt Honda want to know what happened and how to fix this issue moving forward? They have no respect, no sympathy and they try to consider themselves as a reputable company? Honda America needs to do something so that all parties can be notified properly and if any further issues with the Crosstour can be rectified before further damage or even death occurs. If anyone knows what I should do here, please let me know.

I had it towed to Holler Honda on Semoran Boulevard Thursday night. It is now Saturday MORNING and I have not heard anything regarding my car or even getting a loaner. I have called Holler Honda TEN TIMES within these two days and each time Ive been placed on hold and transferred to a line where they are insistent on taking down my name and number to give me a callback. I immediately contacted the sales people but they said they cant do anything, as this has been provided by the company. Just imagine, in case of puncture, you will be driving a car with 3 alloy wheels and one ordinary wheel, which will create serious imbalance to the car thus violating/compromising the safety standards of the car. I am sure that Honda does not do this in any developed country like the US, Japan or countries in Europe.

I purchased my first car, a Honda Civic Ex 2009, back in May 2009. I loved this car, until it started giving me troubles. Before the 60K, they have already replaced the motor brackets, the battery, and the TPMS sensors (4 times). Yes, the TPMS sensors have been replaced 4 times in the last 3 months. Last month, I had a flat tire; and no light came on. I stopped due to a strange noise and realized that I had a flat. I contacted the dealer, and they said the light does not come on until you driven over 28MPH. Well, I left it like, I drove it for a couple miles, and the light came back on. I figure it needed air pressure. After a few miles, the light came back off. The dealer had already replaced the sensor 4 times before this, and again, the TPMS sensor light came back on again yesterday. I contacted the dealer to explain to them about the situation, and they said they wanted me to bring in the vehicle for check-up. I scheduled an appointment. I also contacted Honda headquarters (for the second time) and spoke to Mohammed. I told him about the situation I was going through, and he asked me what should I expect from Honda. I told him that at this point, I was so regretful that I purchased a vehicle that was broken from the beginning, that the vehicle is non fixable, and that I wanted to return it. He said that I needed to go back to the dealer and return the vehicle. I did not like his attitude; he did not even try to resolve this issue. He said if I had already made up my mind, then I should go ahead and return the vehicle. I mean, if Im paying for this car, the least that Honda should do for me is a replacement. Shouldnt I? Well, Honda, the least that you can do at this time is give a replacement vehicle or the money that I have paid you for this piece of crap! I will like you to do this before I take matters further. At this point, I am tired of having to drive an unsafe and broken vehicle made from you, Honda. I am tired of going back to dealers to get the car fixed. I am tired of you, Honda, not paying attention to your customers! If you do not resolve this issue, I promise that I will no longer ever in my life purchase another vehicle made from Honda or its affiliates. And Im only 24. Guess how many cars I would buy from now until I cant drive anymore!

I have a 2014 CRV. Side panels on both driver and passenger side have faded quite a bit, 2 buttons on radio do not work. (We hardly use radio). Back seat does not go down all the way. I have only had seat opened up twice to vacuum and now it does not go back down all the way unless you are sitting on it. Lastly the trunk does not open. It works on and off once every 2 weeks I can unlock and open, every other time I have to throw things in trunk through back seat. These things are definitely not from wear and tear, have never had issues like this in any other car I have owned. Of course I was told through dealership that all of the above is only covered in first 3 years.

I own a 2010 Honda Accord coupe EX. This is now the second time the rear driver side quarter panel has cracked. My assumption is because of the quality of the rear quarter panel, material of it, and the cold weather. Both times the quarter panel has cracked, it has started out about an inch and then grew to four or five inches. Same spot both times. The first instance the entire quarter panel was replaced by a Honda dealer. Im now waiting on my insurance company to determine if this was a defect in the repair. I think Honda needs to take ownership as this has to be a common problem with these model Accords. I find it hard to believe that this is now the second quarter panel and has cracked in the same spot again. Seems like a defect and a recall needed from Honda.

When driving on the interstate, my check engine light started flashing. I continued driving to get off the highest and since there was no noise or any change in performance, I assumed it would have been fine. Two minutes later, my car (07 Accord V6) shut itself off. I had it towed to an independent garage where I was told a spark plug had somehow came loose, fell through the cylinder, and exploded inside my engine. Now Im trying to decide what makes the most sense for a repair, to replace the engine or take apart the head and replace that and hope the ganging ring need to be replaced anyway. All the trunks leak. All the cup holders break or stay stuck open. Constant replacing spark plugs and wires. You have to rev them like mad (but the most of you know the VTEC deal). The worst is the radiator issue. Also, expensive brake jobs. Around 80K miles they have to be replaced. The cat heat shields on all. Yes, there are worse cars out there. But, Honda is way overrated. My first Honda, 89si, they told me the payments would be 254 a month. Being gifted mathematically, I told him he was off 25 bucks. Show me your work. He wouldnt. I then ran the numbers by him and lo and behold, he never counted in my down payment. Then the clutch went bad at 800 miles and they said it was a moving part. I told them I would burn the car in front of their place. My brother, an attorney, fixed the problem. He also found out the finance guy and a girl got arrested. This was Martins Honda in Manhattan. But I never had another issue with that car, outside of the spark plug, radiator, cat shield and cup thing. Wrecked it and bought a 95ex. Cat shield, leaky trunk, same issues as above but the clutch was fine. Replaced the radiator. Bought a 2002 ex, Same issues as above minus the clutch. I guess Id rather know the enemy than roll the dice. Still have the car but its parked in the garage for posterity.Best Honda we ever had was the 98 Odyssey. What a car. Best ratings in Minivan history. My oldest just sold it with a zillion miles on it. We brought into Brewster Honda for a brake job and I had put brand new windshield wipers on it the day before. Went to pick it up and the wipers were swapped out with worn out mismatched metal on glass wipers. I was livid. They told me it wasnt their responsibility if the car was parked outside and someone stole or damaged it. I said, if someone stole them, under the bright all night light, who on earth would take the time to replace them? Common sense. I told them I have another set of keys and Im driving off. See you in court and you know Ill win. They gave me new wipers. My other two Honda I inherited. One blew up after the dealer allegedly put in a new timing belt, the other is an Accord that is old but has the best AC Ive ever been around. Odd as the AC in my Civics were awful. It wont show me as a verified owner but its kind of obvious I am. PS: Go in with your own financing because Honda is the worst at You can get 3% interest if you do this undercoating or whatever and blah blah. Said no the first time and now my answer is, I want out of this room. Where do I sign. It seems like a prevailing theme with auto dealers.Havent bought a Honda since the 02. Someday, if I move south, Id consider an Accord. Seems like so much technology now, that the length of warranty of whatever brand is a starting point. All these techno cars and going to be crazy money to fix. I give the cars 4 stars and the dealers 0 stars. Considering how many truly lousy cars are on the road and that almost all dealers are lame. That should come out to 2 but you dont deal with them much. So Ill say 3 stars. Of course, everyone reads 1 star and 5 star reviews (looking for consistency in the good and or the bad), so this wont be read by too many.

I have had over a dozen issues (with most still outstanding) with my 2016 Honda Civic and Honda Canada has been using gibberish excuses to stop repairing my vehicle under my valid warranty. Be careful of excuses like Cannot Replicate as this is their first attempt to avoid the costly repairs associated with your vehicle. Honda Canada representatives have assured me that no photos, videos or witnesses means nothing to them, thus ignoring your concerns and complaints going forward. There is nothing you can do because they have already taken your money. Even if they lose you as a future customer, they know it is still cheaper for them than to have fixed your car under your valid warranty. If you do duplicate the issue to only a Honda Service Manager, then they will use another corrupted tactic and deem the issue as Its just the normal characteristics of the vehicle and now your vehicle is fixed and they will no longer deal with that issue, even if you threaten to take legal action. They just dont care. Their tactic includes losing customers as long as they DONT pay for your repairs. They are convinced that they can bite the hands that feeds them and still get fat. If that isnt arrogance then I dont know what is.Unfortunately theres nothing you can do but spend thousands of dollars for a lawyer to take them court, and knowing that the customer cannot usually afford it and just gives up, theyre content to have saved the shareholders the costs of your repair. But you can do something about it. Share this warning with family and friends and tell them to do due diligence before buying a Honda product. ***BUYER BEWARE; YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED***

I have a 2010 Honda Accord EX-L 4 Cyl (45,000 miles and bought new) and it burns oil between changes. I have spoken to mechanics, friends and family and everyone is in agreement that cars do not burn oil unless they are old or have a mechanical issue. The first time I brought it to my dealers attention, the service rep. agreed that was normal. This was in Aug. of this year. They set me up on an oil consumption test. Also, I should mention that when it begins to burn the oil, my oil lamp light indicator flickers and my engine makes a tapping noise when I accelerate every so often. I went back in 2,000 miles later for a check and was told that the oil was fine and that the software update they preformed in August should take care of my issue. (Ive seen no advertised recalls on this yet they have the software update out there) At 6,000 miles, the lamp light came on again and my engine began making the tapping noise. I was ready for my normal change anyhow. Took it in to my dealer, explained I was still having the same issue. They found it to be 3/4 a quart low and their mechanic said this was normal for 6,000 miles of driving. My concern though is that my power train warranty will be up in another year or so and I am worried my engine has already suffered damage since it makes that tapping noise. Service rep said at the latest oil change that he has seen 5-10 of these cases come through and that the software update should remedy it. I am going to formally write Honda so they will at least have my concern on file. Service rep said Id be highly considered if I needed my engine replaced after my warranty is up since I have been documenting everything. But overall, I am disgusted that I pay what I pay a month for a brand that is supposed to be excellent yet I am having issues. If this continues and nothing is done, I can promise I wont be buying another Honda and Ill make sure all around me know my experiences.

My name is Latifah, 55, mother of four, from Malaysia. I am a Honda Civic Hybrid owner. I would assume that with all the recent hype behind the Class Action lawsuit against Honda in the U.S. on grounds of cheating mileage claim and also Heather ** vs. American Honda, Inc. case at California Small Claims Court, you would have probably guessed where my story is heading. Well, to cut a long story short, my Honda Civic Hybrids IMA battery went kaput after a year and ten months of owning it from brand new. My HCH is one of the earlier Hybrids to be purchased in this country. I am not so fussed about the failed technology part of it as this can happen to the very best of us, but I am very concerned and terribly upset about how Honda ridiculed and humiliated a customer who is an early adopter of their Hybrid technology. Instead of helping me out with a technology that they admit is still in its infancy, the company decided to make an example of me, a caution to all and any hybrid buyers, that there is no sympathy from Honda if the expensive IMA battery fails. My initial request to Honda was for a straightforward battery replacement, but they refused, insisting that the fault with the car occurred outside of the warranty period. Having exhausted all avenues of communication with the company, including writing directly to the CEO and receiving no evidence of customer care, we had no choice but to seek compensation through the Malaysian Consumer Tribunal late last year. Even at this point, Honda refused to make an offer for reasonable battery replacement, but instead came up with nonsense terms and warranty which I rejected. The Consumer Tribunal Court here disallow lawyers to represent parties in order to keep cost to a minimum and give access to everyone, and without the benefit of fancy legal jargon to defend themselves against my simple statement of facts, Honda lost. To put it simply, the tribunal found that Honda and the dealer that sold me the car was unable to defend their false advertising that claim of 10-12 years lifespan for the IMA battery. The tribunal ordered them to pay me back an equivalent of US$7,000 in compensation. Just like in Heather **’s case, Honda in Malaysia appealed for a judicial review at the High Court shortly after. I can only release the Consumer Tribunal Grounds for Judgment here as my High Court case is still active. After plenty of spinning and hair splitting by their lawyers, it seems like Honda may get their way after all through the legal channel of this country. But I will have to wait for the verdict to be released 27th of this month. Yes, my story does sound like another typical narration of a victim of corporate fraud who then gets away with it because they can afford expensive lawyers who will do anything to get their clients off the hook. The reason why I am writing this is to seek help from International Media to actually cover my story. My story is minimally picked up by the media here, especially the motoring media as most of them are in the pocket of Hondas advertising department. I wrote to the authority and government agency here, but no one seems to be interested to entertain my complaints either. Meanwhile, Honda enjoys maximum advertising coverage for their Hybrid range by bringing in more Hybrid cars here due to tax incentives. The victim, the public here then blindly buys a Honda Hybrid without knowing that Honda will turn on them once the dirt hits the fan. This is not about my loss anymore; this is about principles and my rights as a customer. If this was back in the days of glorious Japanese industrial standards and discipline, nothing less of Hara-kiri would be expected from Hondas CEO if a blunder like this were to take place. Today, they can pat each other on the back congratulating on their sales success for their infamous fraudulent green car. Hope this finds you well. I am more than happy to answer any questions and I will be grateful with any help that I can get.

I HAVE BOUGHT 5 HONDAS IN 6 YEARS. All were no trouble until this 2017 CRV would not start on May 16, 2019 in my garage. Battery dead. I was given two options, have it towed or jump it & bring it in. I charged it up a bit and drove it in to the dealer. They checked battery on a gizmo and said it was OK. I advised them I had checked the battery also and found one dry cell that was burned looking and three cells that were milky. My 40 years experience as a certified Auto mechanic meant nothing to these zomby robots. Took car home and was dead again. I went out and bought a battery so the wife could use the car. Whole day lost, 165$ gone and was advise they could not do anything for me. Called Honda customer care, same garbage. One excuse after the other not to cover the issue. I advised the Dealer that if the mechanic did not have a hydrometer and only uses the gadget to check batteries then they need a mechanic that will invest in a hydrometer. Honda will no longer have our yearly purchase to look forward to as my money is good other places. Honda is now a forbidden word in our home.

My name is Jose **. 2 weeks ago I took my Honda Civic to the Honda dealership to fix my 2 recalls On my airbags. Also had my AC fixed because it was not turning on, they told me it was gonna cost me a little over $500 To get it fixed. I said go ahead fix it, same day I called the dealership that car was overheating and shutting off after they did work on it, they completely denied it that they only touched the AC but I have proof from other repair shops there was nothing wrong with my car, I took my car for one thing, I don’t know what they did, it damaged another thing, now they say is a bad battery, a bad alternator and a bad AC compressor, but that’s not what they told me at first when I took my car to have my AC fixed, what can I do?

In the past month my 2015 has had battery issues. Had to get car jumped a total of six/seven times in one month. Took car to Honda service department to have diagnostic. Per customer service battery is good and cant get proper reading if car is jumped. Advised to have car towed in if this problem occurs again. Little upset because I have little children and would never want to be stranded with my children do to their safety. Called corporate office, told them what happened. Made them aware that this is a safety issue. Referred me to case manager who told me that I would have to follow Honda service department suggestion and have car towed in. Next week car wouldnt start. Had car towed in to Honda who then did diagnostics and found battery was defective. Put new battery in car. Two days later (today), same thing car wouldnt start, Car towed back to dealership. Very Frustrating. Tried to get loaner and told all out and there was nothing they can do. Meantime losing money because hanging in Honda most of the day. Called corporate office and told them my dilemma and not being satisfied with service. Brushed me off and said that a case manager will return my call in 1 business day. Still no transportation to work. Not even reimbursement for rental. Not happy. Terrible customer support.

Honda Customer Service is extremely disappointing. Items offered/described on their website imply suitability for all--not true. Example: Website describes Backup Sensors as Help yourself in or out of a tight spot while helping to protect your paint; Four Sensors emit audible beeps into the cabin while you back up, signaling objects as you approach them. Beeps quicken as your vehicle gets closer to objects. Note: Back-up sensor attachment is required for installation. ** Polished Metal Metallic; MSRP: $265.32. On the purchase of a 2011 CR-V, we had backup sensors installed for $857. Turns out that the emitted beeps are very high-frequency which my husband cannot hear. (According to The National Institute of Health (NIH) 15 percent (26 million) of Americans between the ages of 20-69 cannot hear high pitched tones because of military service (in my husbands case dating back to 1965), etc. ) We would not have requested this safety feature installed on our new CR-V, the third new Honda my husband has purchased since 1997, unless we considered it important. We are a retired couple on a fixed income, and we think long and hard prior to spending this amount of money on discretionary items. Honda personnel with whom we have dealt offered us one option--go to an after market auto shop and see if they could rig up flashing lights to supplement the (inaudible) sound. Are they serious? In backing up, we have to look forward to see flashing lights!!! What about the sides of the vehicles where the backup sensors are supposed to ensure protection?

Service representative by the of ** said that the warranty only covers 12,000 miles. Unfortunately they will have to charge me. He then stated that he had done some research and found that he was told that the lock/locks are FAULTY in certain model Hondas!!! I bought a new 2013 Honda Ridgeline at a dealership. Once I hit 1200 miles, the vehicle would not start after sitting for one or more days. I took it to the Honda dealership that I purchased it at in Uniontown, PA and was told nothing was wrong. One week later, the problem happened again and I again took back to the Honda dealer in Uniontown. Once again I was told they could not find the issue. The not starting had occurred approximately 5 more times. On the fifth time, I called the dealer and Honda customer service. I was told to have the vehicle towed at my expense and it was suggested that I was making the issue up and that I may be experiencing buyers remorse. Honda customer service advised me to take it to a different Honda dealer since I was unhappy with the outcome. I obliged and took the Ridgeline to the second dealer to be told that I had a defective battery. The battery was replaced and I went on my way. Two weeks later, the problem of the vehicle not starting happened again. I took the vehicle to the second dealer again. They ran a parasitic draw test and could not find the issue. They changed the battery again and sent me on my way. Three weeks later, the problem persisted and back to the Honda dealer. They said the battery, the third one, had been significantly drained and charged it. This did not fix the problem. When the problem persisted, I took the vehicle back to Honda. I asked the service manager to try something different because what they had been doing did not work. He stated that since the parasitic draw test could not find a draw on the battery that Honda would not authorize any additional test or repairs. I personally called the Honda customer service line and spoke with a regional rep who proceeded to tell me he did not have time to discuss. I asked for another representative and was told that there was not anyone else to speak to. I asked for his manager and explained that I had plenty of questions that I would like answers to. He told me that he did not have a supervisor. I questioned him on this, doubting his integrity, until he confirmed that he did have a supervisor, but he would not connect me to her or give me her direct contact information. I then asked what steps he was going to take to help me. He said that he was going to contact the service manager at Honda and discuss. I requested a conference call with the three of us and he said that he did not have the capabilities to do so. I advised that my cell phone had these capabilities and I would do the call from my end. At this point, he agreed to do the conference call from his end. He proceeded to tell the service manager that I would be bringing the Ridgeline in the next day, which all three of us had already known, got a bad attitude, said he was done with this, and disconnected the line. The next day I received a call from an unavailable number that turned out to be a different regional manager from Honda. This person proceeded to tell me that I had to work with the original regional manager and vaguely gave me answers to the five or six inquiries that I had. I asked if if I could have a different case manager because the first one was deceitful and she advised that she did not feel that he had lied on three different occasions and that I had to work with him. My vehicle is currently at the dealership and I am awaiting the outcome. I have record of my Honda Ridgeline being at the Honda garage on 11 occasions for the same issue. I also have notated dates on 8 other instances when the vehicle did not start that I did not take it to the shop. Needless to say, I am very unhappy with Honda, the dealership in Uniontown, PA, and the Honda customer service department. The service manager at that second dealership in Richeyville, PA has been very nice and empathetic to me, and has stated that he is doing everything in his power to help me, but his hand seem to be tied back to Honda for he cannot do any repairs without the proper authorizations.

A few years back on a cold February night, I was driving home as usual. I soon noticed a spark from the hood and realized that I should pull over. It took just about all my might to pull the car over into a parking lot. As soon as I exited the vehicle, I saw flames shooting out from the hood. I stood on the side of the road shocked at what I was seeing. Everything in my car was ruined - my workbag, a store return in my trunk and even my 1-year old sons car seat melted. We were at a loss on what to do next and did the normal procedure of calling our car insurance. The initial inspection to see if it was a fire due to our negligence was done and a check for the value of the car was received. It would cost $7,000 to see the exact cause of the fire, which would have been at our expense and almost the whole value of the lost vehicle. Our precious Accord was our only vehicle and paying for rental cars was getting too expensive, so we decided we couldnt do the inspection and wanted to have this nightmare over with, only to be haunted by it later on. Our son is 4 now and we received a letter in the mail indicating a recall on our car to fix a defective power steering hose that can leak fluid and catch on fire. If you recall, I had to use all my might to pull the car over, which I assume that the power steering hose having a leak is very possible to be the cause of the fire.We have contacted Hondas recall department and Walter was assigned to our case. Regardless of what happened (me almost being in the car while it was on fire), the car no longer exists so therefore, Honda doesnt care. Interesting enough in the same month, 3 years later, we passed a newer model Accord in almost the exact location with its hood on fire. And yet there is still only 1 reported car fire due to the recall. I honestly doubt thats the case and that there are many other victims. I am certainly angry!

2014 Honda CRV grinding noise - VTC Actuator issue - I bought my Honda CRV in mid-2013. By the time the car was 1 year old, with 10,000 miles, there was a grinding noise when I would start the car. The grinding noise lasts about 2 seconds. It has been into a Honda dealership several times. I was told Honda is working on a fix and that the problem would be addressed when the engineering department had the issue figured out. One year later (but still under warranty), the grinding noise is louder and longer than before, and happens almost every time I start the car. Upon doing some research, I learned that Honda has been installing the defective VTC actuator since 2008, in Accords. The defective actuator was also installed in 2012-2014 CRVs. It appears that Honda continued to use the defective actuator since 2008, yet customers are being told that a fix is in the works, 7 years later. American Honda has advised Honda service departments to not replace the actuator as it is likely that the replacement actuator will present the same grinding noise. A regional case manager also assured me that a fix was in the works but did not comment when I pointed out that Honda continued to use a defective part from 2008-2014. Honda repeatedly emphasizes that this is not a safety or performance issue, to which I have replied that is likely the reason it has been 7 years with no fix -- it is a low priority and Honda chooses to direct its engineering resources elsewhere. I am not sure why there has been no class action law suit to address this multi-year problem. Dealerships will not do anything as American Honda will not allow replacements to be made. This is my last Honda. Their way of doing business is horrendous. What I have now is a vehicle that definitely attracts attention (but not in a good way) when it is started as everyone in the vicinity gets to enjoy the grinding sound of metal-on-metal.

The steering in the Honda Accord 2012 with alloy wheels is extremely hard and very, very uncomfortable to use. And I tried changing the alloy wheels to normal wheels, and to my surprise, the hardness is still the same. My CD player in my 2007 Honda Accord, which I use sparingly as I have 2 other vehicles and 2 Honda motorcycles, started giving an error message. Then, my CD player would not work properly. I can no longer eject the three CDs that are in the player. I learned that the 2003-2004 Accords had a service bulletin (04-027 dated 07/09/04) concerning the CD player which the same unit was used in the 2007 Accord. The Honda dealer here in Greenville, NC recommended that I take it to a local (tech) shop and have them do the service. The Honda dealership here in Greenville, NC would charge me $92.00 just to take the CD player out and ship it off to wherever they send it to for service. Then, I would have to pay to have it serviced and again to have it re-installed. I have learned (online) that there is a significant problem with this 6-CD Changer in 2007 Accords. Honda refuses to stand behind their product and wants to shift the cost to the consumer. I have been fairly satisfied with my 2007 Accord, which I bought from Coastal Carolina Honda of New Bern, NC (no longer in business). I thought that from here on out I would only purchase Honda vehicles for the rest of my life. Now, after also seeing how Honda failed to stand behind correcting a problem on my Honda Magna motorcycle, which also had a service bulletin regarding engine overheating because of lack of oil flow that they later re-engineered in newer models, drilling an additional hole in the engine head to allow for more oil flow, my mind has been made up concerning Honda and all of their products. I will no longer purchase any Honda product. I really believed that the company had more integrity than that. But, boy, was I ever wrong! I will soon sell my Honda Accord and motorcycles and kiss Honda goodbye. Life is too short to allow such aggravation in your life. Who needs a company that will not stand behind their own products? I am pretty conscientious about taking care of my things. The problems that have arisen from my Honda car and motorcycle, were due to no fault of my own. They were problems Honda created by their poor engineering and even when the company was made aware of such problems, they continued to pass the cost on to the consumer. Honda was not concerned about saving face. They were more concerned about getting as many US dollars as they could and not having to pay out anything to correct poorly engineered mistakes that they sold and passed on to the consumer. Buyer beware! Not even Honda is concerned about doing the right thing. I have purchased my last Honda product and I will make sure that I do everything I can to let others know to watch out if theyre even thinking about purchasing a Honda.

Which consist of a oil change (I pay for) then bring it back in around 1000 miles, they check level then report to Honda USA. Heres the problem, I took it back. It lost 3/4 qt by the calibrated eye of the mechanic looking at the dip stick, he didnt drain and measure. Also they didnt use the same weight oil as in the owners manual. The real misconception here is it loses at the same rate. It doesnt between the first 1000 miles and the 2nd 1000 miles it loses faster!!! Sometime between oil changes Ill put in 4 quarts!! I called Honda because I bought a new 2016 HR-V EX AWD which has the keyless system. The owners guide states I can unlock all doors with the trunk release. It does not and I learned that the owners manual states something different. I also complained to the phone contact because the only door that opens all doors is the passenger door, unlike past vehicles I have had where pushing the button twice opens all doors. I was told this was a security feature of the vehicle. However, it would be just as secure if it required two pushes for all doors and only the current handle grab for the drivers door. When I asked how to get both issues repaired I was told the drivers door was engineered that way and could not be fixed because it was not broken. They will be calling back about the trunk to clarify which is correct, the owners guide or owners manual.I was pleased the company is willing to respond quickly but am entirely dissatisfied with their denial that the doors could be altered given that this version of the car is quite a bit more money than the version with remote entry instead of keyless entry. As the driver, I either have to fish the key fob out of my purse or make my kids wait until I am inside the car to let them in. Im having to train them to stop yanking on the door handles until I am inside. Worse is that I cannot open the back doors myself without the same maneuvering, difficult if I am hauling items I have stored in the back seat.

When I was younger, I always dreamed of getting a Honda. I loved these cars. So as soon as I was able to get one, I did. So sorry I did. I have fixed my car radio a couple of times and it cost about $400. It’s not cheap with raising 4 kids! I googled it and it seems to be an ongoing problem. I called 1-800-999-1009 and no one wanted to help me. So, I told them about the radio draining my battery and dying, leaving me and my kids stranded on the side of the road and no one seemed to care. Obviously, this is not the first they have heard of this problem because it’s all over the net. This is my first and last Honda. I was trying to convince my boyfriend to get one. Now, I am convincing him not to. Now in the midst of me having temporary home due to hurricane Sandy and just lost my job, I have a car that continues to die in the freezing cold. I will never get another Honda. I will let my friends and family know of this issue and also tell them if you have a problem, Honda will not help so it’s better to go with a Nissan or Toyota. My mom has been buying Nissan for about 20 years and they have really good customer service. Boo to you Honda.

Couple years after purchase, paint peeling and discoloring. Dealer swore up and down no damage he was aware of. Turned out... damaged at manufacturer and covered up. Honda wouldnt repair due to high cost of pearl paint ruined. We ended up losing 12,000 on the deal! The other car went in for trans service, came out with Honda adding something, due to recall that affects the drivability of the car. I owned the car, my girlfriend took it in and never notified me. I hate the car now. I will never buy another one, due to poor customer service and support. I just purchased a FORD F-150 and plan on selling every Honda in our family (asians). LMAO. So far treated excellent!

DO NOT BUY A 2018 HONDA ACCORD - DEFECT ON BLACK PAINT ON HOOD & ROOF.
DO NOT BUY A 2018 HONDA ACCORD - DEFECT ON BLACK PAINT ON HOOD & ROOF. I went to a Honda dealership in Nashville to buy a new 2018 black Accord on September 23, 2018. The paint was ruined on both the cars they tried to sell. They offered to fix it by wet sanding it. Who wants to buy a new car that has been wet sanded? I called 2 other dealerships, and the paint was the same way. One of the dealerships transferred me in another car, and the paint is also ruined on it. The auto detailer at the dealership said all the black Accords he has seen look that way. Stain in the clear coat due to tree sap, or bugs. It looks like acid rain spots. The clear coat must be incredibly weak. If the paint already looks like this, imagine 2 years from today. Honda this is fraud to sell a brand new car that paint is destroyed. A new car should not be a damaged car.

Honda is a joke. Bought Honda because of name. However got a lemon and they are refusing to address issue. Car RPMs surge rapidly while driving a constant speed and cars gas mileage is a complete scam and a lie. These companies rip people off and smile doing it. Its disgusting. Im going to picket outside the dealership and put a sign on my car that states they are unwilling to resolve issues. My car has 300 miles on it.

Honda is a great car, but it lags behind many other SUVs in the area of safety. My 2019 has some safety features but they are unpredictable and touchy. I am reluctant to use them, for example, the speed control does not pickup the car in front of you until very late, scary! It also does not have pedestrians detection in front.

If you are a bike lover you must have heard of the CB1100F that hit the roads in the era of 1983 and stole millions of hearts with its ravishing looks and mind blowing performance. My new Honda CB1100EX has same legendary design of that heritage bike. The design will take you back to few decades back and I love that feel whenever I am on my cherished bike for a ride. The heavy weight bike will surely compliment a man’s personality in best way. I bet the weight of the bike must be more than even Harley-Davidson Roadster 1200.One con of this bike is that you might find it somewhat tough to change the direction while you are in a hurry. Obviously few more such minor issues are there. But that is with every other bike that you may select. But for a seasoned rider like me this is the perfect bike that I am fond of.

Honda Ridgeline - it is easy to get into. It works wonderfully as a car or truck, the back seat raises to allow access to a level floor, which is great for packages. This is the best vehicle that we could own as retirees.

I bought a Honda 2006 Civic 2 Dr. coupe - EX on March 1st, 2011, less than a year ago. It has broken down 3 times and all 3 times were the same problem; serpentine belt and belt tensioner. It has cost me money for the repairs as well as the tows. What the hell can I do about this problem? I dont feel safe driving my car anymore. The mileage is only 76,000 and the condition with the exception of the problems described above is excellent.

2012 Honda CRV makes loud grinding noise upon start. Informed dealer about the situation several times since the noise started years ago. After a year of purchasing the vehicle brand new off the lot the noise started. I complain about the noise numerous of times during oil changes. They never knew what the problem was nor did they hear a noise (lies). But now since I’m almost done (1 payment left) with paying off my car, and my warranty is over (bingo) we know what the problem is and it’s gonna cost ya! American Honda is garbage. They don’t wanna acknowledge the problem, and they’ve been knowing for years well before I purchase mines in 2012.

I traded in my Dodge Challenger for a brave new 2019 Honda Civic sport due to commuting. Don’t waste your money, the car is made of plastic, you lean on it or even knock something lightly against it you will have a dent. For a $26,000 car. The sensor system is piece of **! Lights come on for no reason, I take it to Honda and they want to charge hundreds of dollars to fix problems that I did not cause as I keep the maintenance and upkeep on the car up. The tires are **! I’ve had my car for 3 months and have had 3 issues with my tires. I’ve never had issues with cars until this nightmare. Don’t purchase a 2019 Honda!

This is about Shellharbour City Motors Honda Dealership. ---They even dont know how to do a business--- Okay, on the phone they say car (Honda Civic) is only driven 500 kilometres and comes at $24000 with $500 accessories. They say they can consider bringing it down a bit if meet in person. They say the offer expires on 31st December. When you go meet them, they said the car is 1500 kilometres instead of 500 kilometres. They say they cannot bring the price down (firm at $24000, which I think would be okay). But terrible manager says accessories will not be included. (even if the offer is valid until 31st December). If you go few days later, and ask for $24000, they said they cannot sell it at that price. They said they updated the price which is $24990. (wait...didnt you say that offer is valid until 31st December? and Im making offer on 28th December.) Why wasting time of busy people if you cannot stick to your words and promises? This is enough, I am getting a good offer from Volkswagen and Kia who at least keep their promises.

I have a three-month-old 2013 Honda Odyssey (bought in May 2013). Never had any problems prior (second Odyssey we have owned). But on this particular Saturday, I was about to leave in the vehicle, and I found the drivers window shattered, with about half the glass in the car and the other half on the ground by the door. It had been rolled up completely and the temp was around 90 that day... so nothing unusual. I had just walked by the car (on my driveway) and it was fine. Then a few moments later it was busted. No one around, no object in the car...nothing. So we took pictures then went to clean the glass up and covered the window until we could take it to the local dealer on Monday. After they inspected it, they announced they could not do anything as it did not appear to be a defect. I was told to contact Honda Corp which we did. After 24 hours to review, we got the same reply. The Warranty states clearly that broken, cracked or chipped glass is not covered unless manufacturing defect. However, upon further investigation, I found many others online who this happened to... and as recent as 2011, Honda recalled 2,800 vans for just this reason. On the NHTSA site, it states that the window may shatter into passenger cabin causing a risk of injury. So I am disappointed that I got such a cold shoulder from Honda dealer and Corp, as I WAS a satisfied customer. If I had accidentally broken this window...no sweat. I have $600 to replace it and I am not a complainer. But I am worried this problem has not been corrected and this could happen to someone that could put them in jeopardy. So I wanted to get my story out there. I hope I am the last one.

From the beginning of my lease of the Honda Clarity fuel cell car, I had problem with the car controller board. Then, the fuel tank problem had my car towed to their Torrance, CA. location for replacement due to unavailability of the service and hydrogen fuel. Then, the water pump corrosion recall to replace the water pump. Then, the True Zero hydrogen fuel cell producer depot caught on fire and their trucks were caught on fire. Theres no hydrogen fuel and the long delay in getting the inspections and permit to re-open the True Zero hydrogen plant.Meanwhile, the consumers face horrendous problems getting through to Honda Customer service to respond to deal with the rental car situation. A lot of time burden spent by consumers like myself to get Honda to help by providing temporary rental car. Honda customer service keep telling customers to wait for their case managers to call back if you can even get through to them. Honda Clarity fuel cell lessees are paying a high monthly leasing fees to Honda and not being able to drive the car and compounded by their horrible customer service and red-tape to make consumers bear the burden of time and costs. This doesnt happen with Toyota and Hyundai fuel cell vehicles when I talked to their customers. If theres a zero rating, I would rate it zero.

I purchased a used/leased 2008 Honda Accord EX-L with leather in 7/2011 with < 40,000 miles. Within a few weeks, I noticed discoloration and what appeared to be wear of portions of surface on the drivers seat. Basically, the dealer I bought it from, the dealer I normally work with for service and Honda of America (HoA) customer service, all have repeatedly said normal wear and tear, -past warranty. They (HoA) offered a $1,000 fix with a discount to $450. Woopie ding! I have been a loyal Honda accord owner for over 20 years based on quality and customer service. What I have experienced recently was not customer service. Sad, very sad. BTW, I have friends who just sold their used Honda Accord with ~210,000 and the leather looked as good as it did when they bought the car!

I have a Honda CRV 2012, since July 2012. Currently 66,000 miles. Since last summer Im complaining about a vibration. After I pay the evaluation fee, the diagnostic was I have to replace brakes. I did, and the problem persisted even worst right now. I took the car to an independent mechanic and the diagnostic was the transmission is broken. To add insult to injury I had Honda put a remote start on my car and I cant even use it because it kills my battery.

I have read reviews regarding the roof peeling. Exact same thing happened to me. After getting off the freeway one day and parking my car, the paint was just GONE! A rather large section. When I bought my 05 Honda Accord Hybrid, I was told the hybrid battery would last to 150,000 to 200,000 miles. At 81,000, just after the warranty expired, the check engine & IMA (hybrid battery) light came on. I paid $300 for a software upgrade at the time & was assured by Honda Customer Service that they would stand by their product. Over the next couple of years, the lights came on periodically and Ive had to pay for additional software upgrades. The last time it happened, the lights came on again less than 30 days later. Now Honda is saying the battery is bad and needs to be replaced, at my expense. I have called several dealers and gotten estimates ranging from $2,700 to $5,700 (for parts only). When I purchased this car, I was told the battery would cost $2,000 or less. Now Im stuck with a car that will not pass a state safety inspection without paying several thousand dollars for a replacement battery. On top of it, the car has NEVER gotten the mileage Honda claimed it would get. In fact, it gets WORSE mileage than my last Honda Accord.
