I bought 2018 Honda Accord about a month ago and it already had fuel injector problem! After I took it to a Honda dealership in Burnsville to fit it it stated to smell like gas in my vehicle after they fixed it. I took it back to them and they said, Keep driving it because we don’t see any leaks. That’s where I went to back to the Brookdale Luther dealership to try and change the car out but they said it past the 5 day grace period. So they connected me with the service people to try and fix the problem but they told me to go back to Burnsville dealership because theyre the ones who started the job and they have to finish it otherwise we going to have to charge just to look at it. I also got a extended warranty with Honda.

I called them several times. The pressure on the wand built up and my husband could not get it to release. They told us to take it to a repair shop. I told them it is a safety issue, if someone was around when that pressure released, it would hurt anyone close by and I did not want to load it and haul it for that reason. It was a commercial heavy duty washer, which we thought would last longer, it is about 3 yrs. old. It is used maybe twice a month, and just for personal use at home.Needless to say it is just sitting out our way so when it blows hopefully no one will get hurt. If they do, I told Dewalt they will be responsible as they have been told and chose to do nothing about it.

Yesterday, after taking my Honda Civic 2010 in for a check after hearing an odd noise under the front right side, I was informed that I needed new brake pads! I only have 22,000 miles on the car! This is my 3rd new Honda and this is the first time Ive had to get new pads at such a low number of driving miles! I reluctantly left my car at the dealership for the repair as I was unable to reach another auto repair shop over the Thanksgiving Day holiday. This will be the last Honda that I will ever purchase. The cost will be about $250.00 or a little higher. Very disappointed as I bought a car that I could rely on during these hard economic times!

Model Accord - System/Structure/Body/Trunk Lid. We have had our 2014 Honda Accord for just over one year. All of our family members have been hit in the head or back by the trunk. The trunk does not stay open on even a modest grade but does not fall down for several seconds, allowing people to lean into the trunk before it hits them. Injury to death more likely from the trunk lid. I have owned 10 cars and have never had one where the trunk lid will not remain up. 2014 Honda Accord problems and complaints, up-to-date recall information and reviews. Finally was able to get this horrendous situation rectified but I had to take the car to another Honda dealer to do so. Scott Honda, in West Chester PA, was able to quickly diagnose that there was a faulty bearing in the transmission and as such ended up replacing the transmission. ROBERTS HONDA had thr car for 3 weeks and did not diagnose the problem and they gave it back to me with it still making the noise loud and clear. Very good experience with Scott Honds though. Theyre team is very knowledgable, organized and customer service oriented. Only time will tell how well this car holds up but either way Scott Honda definitely has a fan in me!

2008 Honda Civic EX - Sept. 2013 with 105,000 miles, the AC intermittently would not work. Refrigerant was good. Eventually by early 2015 would hardly work at all. Taken to Honda dealer where I purchased the car new. There were metal shavings that looked like sand in the system. $3,800 to repair. Wife drove the car exclusively so heres what most likely happened. Compressor went bad in 2013 but still worked and probably made some noise at some point and should have been replaced then. Our fault to some degree, but the point is these compressors only have a shelf life. Ive had numerous Hondas and never had compressor problems. Wish I had known, would have never bought the car. Also, I talked to the service rep and he advised me that HR-V have the same problem. Will do everything possible to have Honda reimburse all who had/will AC compressors going bad.

I am filing a complaint and will continue to until my voice is heard. I bought a 2014 Honda Accord - left over in 2015, brand new 12 miles on the car. It is now 04/2017 and the clear coat is pitting ALL OVER THE CAR. There are 7 cars behind our home. I am the only one with a Honda and the only one with this problem. The Moon Honda dealership said it was due to the environment... Two Chevys (1 white, 1 black), Chrysler 200, Lincoln, Mazda and a Nissan are also parked behind our home and none of these brands have a problem with their clear coat. This is not right and Honda has lost a customer... All that needed to be done was realize the clear coat is bad and offer to treat me as a valued customer by fixing this and re-painting.Reporting this so others with this problem will realize it is not bird poop, other environmental situations or something else the dealership states is why they will not offer up a correction and re-paint their vehicle so it does not shred and look like a car that was in a fire or washed with vinegar... Look around and guarantee you will see a peeled up Honda. Shameful.

I have called Honda customer service numerous times with regards to my airbag light permanently remaining on. I have verified with several mechanics, that apparently, this is a faulty seatbelt buckle that needs to be replaced. When I mentioned this to Honda, they advised me that they may be able to assist with something. They wont mention what that something is, and on the condition that I take my vehicle to a Honda dealership for confirmation. While I can appreciate the fact that Honda has to verify this, I dont believe I should have to pay over $100 just for a technician to verify what they already know to be an issue. This should actually be recalled by Honda. I have 3 colleagues that all own Hondas and we all have the same problem. When you contact Honda, asking if this is part of a recall, they deny it. What will it take for Honda to take ownership and replace these faulty buckles? Does someone need to die?

I have a 2001 Honda Accord with 65,000 miles. The first transmission was replaced at 27,500 miles, and was under warranty. Now, my second transmission needs to be replaced at 37,500 miles, and is not covered by the warranty. I have contacted the regional representative, who only saw it was a 2001, and refused to assist in any way. I then contacted their customer service department who filed a claim for me, but a day later called, and gave me the same response. There will be no goodwill gesture on the part of Honda. I have since written a letter to the president of North American Honda, but have not received a response back. I have since had the transmission replaced on the 2001 Honda by a transmission company, for approximately $1,600 plus tax. I still feel that as a goodwill gesture, Honda should be more flexible in a situation, where both transmissions did not have very much miles.

I have a Honda Accord year 2014 version. I bought it during December 2014. All this while I trust Honda quality. I am its fan. However after 1 year of using the Honda Accord, an abnormal irritating noise coming out from the back, around the door, speaker and car boot area. I had send the car to authorize service center for 3 times, however still not able to solve. The irritating noise is getting louder... Everyday early morning while driving the car, the noise spoil my mood. It is testing my patience. With this issue, I am not happy and disappointed with Honda quality. It is in fact worst than a cheap car for the fitness (noise) condition. I am still looking forward for Honda to solve the irritating noise soonest possible. Besides the irritating noise, recently I encounter the wind screen having a few crack mark at the edge. Input from the tinting service provider it is due to the paint peel off. Really unbelievable that Honda can produce this type of quality level. The price of the car paid is really not meeting my expectation on its quality. Just wonder if Honda looks into the user experience and expectation when developing its products.

I bought a 2018 Honda Accord Touring trim (nearly $40K car). Have had 7 different failures so far (defective paint, electronics failures, parts falling off car door seals, wheel well lining, etc). Hondas answer is to keep taking the vehicle in for service. Its only 3 months old with 6500 miles, and its constantly breaking. In spite of the obvious fact that I have a lemon/dud, Honda will NOT replace the vehicle. My dealers answer outside of keep bringing it in for service was for me to sell my car back to them at a loss, and theyd work me a deal on a new car.GARBAGE quality from Honda. Even worse they dont want to stand behind their product. Ive been working with Leo at Hondas customer care, and he said theres nobody I can escalate to, but hed discuss this internally with the distributor (?) who generally does not talk to the customer. At this point I am in the process of yet more repairs, but a new car experience should NEVER be like this.Ive owned Honda cars my whole life, and have had an 83, 87, 2000, 2005 Accord, as well as a 2005 and a 2006 Odyssey. My 2005 Accord was a nightmare, but that was due to a 3rd party, aftermarket hack job from the dealer, so I cannot state that was a Honda issue. Now I have a 2018 Accord, and outside of some miracle response from Honda to make this right, it will be my last Honda EVER!! To be specific, heres a list of my issues so far in my first 3 months/6500 miles on the car: 1. Paint defect on side of car in front of passenger door 2. Paint defect on roof of car3. Failed backup camera/console unit 4. Weather stripping literally falling off passengers back door 5. Wheel well came loose and is resting on the tire while driving (part is in back order) 6. Bottom weather stripping loose, and sticking outside of rear passengers door7. Intermittent charging working/not working on wireless cell phone charging pad (iPhone X)NOTE: When the dealer looked into the paint on the roof, they first wanted me to file a claim with Cameron (additional paint protection/warranty product I bought), and there was a small elbow sized dent in the corner of the roof after they looked at it which I had to speak with the service manager about to get fixed. They did fix it, but didnt initially want to take ownership of it. Seriously, Honda? Ive Never spent so much money to only live to regret the purchase and get such a careless response from the manufacture of such a clear quality issue with YOUR product. If you are thinking of buying a Honda, buyer beware, and know that Honda will do nothing more than keep sending you in for repairs time and time again. I fear Im reaching the point that the lawyers will have to battle this one out.

I have been looking all over for a red 2022 ridge liner rtl-e truck. So I contacted several local dealers and put it on the web too. Last night got a call from a sales man Mark from Venice honda and told me that he just got in a red ridge line and if I was still interested, I jumped at the chance. We agreed I would come in at 1030 the next morning and that no one had an appt that was interested in this truck. He even told me he would grab the keys to this vehicle so no one would grab it before me, on the way down there (90 min drive) in a torrential rainstorm got a text from him if that I was still coming. I replied right away that I was going to be there on time, I also got two phone calls. One from Kyle the manager to see if I was coming and replied yes, I was very excited only to get there for my appt. Saw the truck in the lot and a couple were looking at it, I asked mark if that was the truck, he replied yes but that the couple I saw put a deposit on it.So all this trouble and he was lying to me, then he proceeds to try and sell me a pacific pewter ridgeline, I told him if I wanted that I wouldn’t be looking all over for this particular truck, I was so angry at this point. When I checked their reviews I read that this practice was quite common with this dealership. So I drove 3 hrs in a terrible storm to be lied to. I think people deserve better than this. I understand car dealerships dont have a stellar reputation but to get someone to drive 3 hrs for nothing but try to drum up a sale, I will never buy a honda again, I have owned 4 different Honda’s.

Hondas PHEV Clarity cannot properly charge at public charging stations, specifically ChargePoint with dual ports. It handles fine at home with a dedicated 30A charger. We bought the car to take advantage of an employee benefit of free charging (up to 3 hours), but the vehicle cannot sustain uninterrupted charging. Numerous attempts to restart charging will cause the vehicle to malfunction including inability to start the car. This will result in waiting for at least 3 hours to allow the system to auto-recover from the multiple plug-in/plug-out attempts. Issue has been diagnosed by a local dealer, but Honda is too slow to address the problem.

This email regards a horrible customer service experience I have had with Honda. I have had a problem with my 2017 Hatch - the center console randomly begins a series of beeps (beep-beep-beep) and throws my iPhone, especially the navigation system, off of the system. I have video recorded the problem happening and taken it to my dealer and another dealer on 4 occasions. They cannot replicate the problem.I called Honda USA to seek additional help. My case was given to a case manager - LUIS - who argued with me, made me cry on every phone conversation, even angered my even-tempered husband. I am seeking help with this problem and all I got was verbal abuse. When I asked to speak to a manager or another agent, I was told by LUIS that I could only speak with him. This one experience - this one experience alone - has decided me that Honda is not the company for me. You seem not to care about a problem that I am sure with time will end up in some sort of recall situation - I simply cant imagine that my car is the only one having this problem. If your customer service is so uncaring and apathetic, then I simply cant be a part of this company.

Beyond dissatisfied with horrible paint quality and worse customer service
Beyond dissatisfied with horrible paint quality and worse customer service from Honda USA. I am awaiting a reply from consumer affairs with regards to my wifes 2014 Honda Accord, purchased new from Jim Coleman Honda in Clarksville, Maryland. My wife purchased the vehicle, along with an extended paint protection warranty (to protect the paint finish against premature wear, rust, staining, etc.), which covers the vehicle for 7 years from the date of purchase. In the past 6 months, we have taken note that the factory paint finish has begun to shrink and peel back from the rear window glass along the surrounding body panels. We notified the dealership, and they advised that there is a known factory defect with vehicles finished in Pearl White (my wifes paint color) and dark metallic blue, where this pattern has been observed. There are countless accounts of this paint defect online. Some representative web posts are linked below; There are many more... https://www.carcomplaints.com/Honda/Accord/2014/body_paint/inferior_paint_and_clear_coat.shtml https://www.carcomplaints.com/Honda/Accord/2014/body_paint/paint_peeling.shtml https://www.autobody-review.com/blog/what-is-happening-to-my-honda-paint-problems https://www.driveaccord.net/threads/paint-peeling-away-pics-included.544831/?fbclid=IwAR0rabgCs3mFj6yijicnLY4m2v_v00HGgNbyD2Fu898TA-kGuy_QDaT3qo0https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SE3HLhHYh0wThere is even an entire Facebook group dedicated to raising awareness and seeking remediation to this obvious manufacturers defect: https://www.facebook.com/groups/389497225179056/. The dealer advised that they believed this to be a factory defect, and not a warranty issue and reached out to Honda, USA on our behalf. We were advised that resolution was reached with Honda, USA and they agreed to pay on a 90/10 basis (90% of the repair costs would be paid by Honda; we would be responsible for 10%) and we were asked to bring the vehicle in to a Honda Certified Repair Facility (Chandlers Collision Center in Columbia, MD).We brought the vehicle in to the recommended shop, and while we were able to obtain a repair estimate, the shop adjuster began scraping at the paint (causing further damage) which left an extremely unpleasant feeling about the shop. When we asked to see samples of paint work they had completed, the adjuster showed me 2 vehicles on the lot -- each one worse than the previous in terms of color match, paint texture and body work quality. Further, we were advised that Honda would not stand behind this shops work, despite telling us that this was their shop of preference, deferring any quality issues with the repair to the repair facility policies. We advised Jim Coleman Honda of our desire to have the repair performed at another facility that we had located (also Honda Certified): Subway Auto Body in Gambrills, MD. We had the opportunity to meet with this shop manager/owner who was very understanding of the nature of the repairs needed, the process needed to repair correctly and warrantied workmanship integrity. We asked about having the repair performed at this facility instead, and were advised that Jim Coleman would look into this with Honda and get back to us.Weeks went by without any feedback despite numerous calls to both Honda and Jim Coleman, and finally I escalated the issue with Honda, USA. I received a call-back from Honda advising that we took too long to schedule the repair, and therefore they were no longer accepting responsibility. The Honda representative would not allow me to get a word in edgewise, despite pleading with them that the reason the repair was not scheduled was due to a lack of response in how to proceed on their end. They refused to listen, vulgarities were exchanged, and they refuse to address this matter. Subsequent calls into Honda, and we are seemingly black-listed from speaking with a representative.Bottom line, we have email traffic assuring us that the repair would be covered at a 90/10 split, numerous inquiries on how to proceed that went unanswered, and now we are left with a nearly $2,500 repair bill for a factory defect. The shop owner at Subway has also attempted to reach out to Honda on our behalf and they wont even return a phone call -- mind you this shop pays annual fees to remain an accredited Honda Repair facility, so this says a great deal for Honda, USA in general. Since the time when we first notified Honda of the issue, the damage has spread to the full surround of the rear glass and is continually growing larger. It is despicable that Honda refuses to accept responsibility and worse that their lack of customer service follow through has only delayed remediation.

Then to test it I let go of the steering wheel multiple times and it immediately pulled to the left. I called the service department three times to speak with the man who oversaw my service, he didnt answer. So I made a u-turn and returned the vehicle. He did a test drive and came up with new terms to explain why its pulling and blamed it on the road. Three different men drove the car three different times on the main road including the technician and claimed nothing is wrong with the car. They refused to service it or even take a look at it. I told them not to drive out my gas and my mileage. They still took the car anyways and drove it around. The manager asked at first I said no then yes. He also did everything to try and keep the car on the road but still refused to service it or replace the gas in my car. I received this notice from Honda with this warning on my 2009 Accord V6. They said the parts will be available in late Summer/Fall 2016. They have an advisory to avoid having a passenger sit in the front passengers seat until the recall repair has been performed. However, they make no mention of the drivers side airbag. I am sure the warning applies to both but they dont mention that. Certified used warranty is a scam. Honda sold me a certified used vehicle under their program that guarantees a 151-point inspection. Right out of the dealership, the car had a burnt accessory fuse, missing tire change tools, and garbage in the spare tire well under the trunk. This leads me to believe they did not check all the fuses and they did not check to see if a spare tire was even included with the vehicle, let alone properly inflated. They did not offer compensation for failing to check these points in their original inspection and they did not agree to perform another 151-point inspection at my request. It is now 14 months after I purchased the vehicle and only about 8,000-9,000 miles on the car from since we bought it. The power steering pump had a major failure; repair is quoted at $740.01. They refuse to repair the vehicle at no cost since non-powertrain warranty only covers 12-months/12,000 miles. I would typically accept this response, but I feel as if the car was never fully inspected like they advertised. A power steering pump should not have a major failure after 8,000-9,000 miles. I should not have this much difficulty explaining my frustration to Honda, a company that prides itself on reliable cars and helpful people, especially with such low mileage on the vehicle.

I sold my 2008 Accord, brake and engine issues with no response from HONDA. Also the well known 2006 Civic with all of its problems. God this car was a disaster and I ended up on the losing of that deal... Im so angry with Honda that I sold both cars, my VTX 1200 motorcycle and my 3500psi pressure washer. Ill never purchase another HONDA product... Terrible customer service and they no longer back their products... This is one time you dont get what you pay for!

A week ago, I had a good experience with Honda sales which included a Salesman patiently pairing my phone with the Bluetooth. A week after the connection kept breaking which was verified by the salesman. He tried to connect his own phone to my Bluetooth and was unable to do so. Subsequently another salesman tried another phone which he was able to connect. The second salesman went into the service department to see if he could get any help at which time the Service Manager informed him that Honda does not support the (originally Sprint) Virgin Mobile service and showed him the Honda Canadian Website. I wrote to the Sales Manager, explaining that: 1) I was never informed that the Bluetooth was only available with certain providers, 2) My phone had worked for a week, 3) Another salesman was not able to pair his phone either and 4) My phone clearly recognizes the Honda Bluetooth even though the Honda Bluetooth has stopped recognizing my phone. I need to be helped. Have not heard back from him. Please help. Thanks.

I bought a 2017 CRV EX. We installed our car seat in the middle back row of the car. The car seat belt buckle and passenger belt buckle were switched, making it unsafe and difficult for the passenger to put on their seat belt. This is surprising to me because I dont think this is a small mistake. Its a safety issue. I called the dealer, Ralph Schomp Honda in Highlands Ranch, where we bought the car, and I was advised to bring it in for a half day inspection. This is already a hassle, to add to that, the dealer also charges $22/day for a loaner car. I feel like I am being hassled for a big mistake that Honda has made. This just doesnt feel right. This is a brand new 2017 car.I called America Honda and I was told that no one has complained about this. I Googled it and there are others that have complained about this situation. America Honda advised me to bring it into the dealership. Overall, I love the car but I am very disappointed about this big safety mistake from Honda and they are not being proactive to fix the issue. I called American Honda several times and they told me that they cant fix the issue at this time and have done everything according to federal safety regulations. I am very disappointed with American Honda.

Having owned 5 Hondas over the last 15 years, I can tell you this is NOT the same company it once was! Customer Service, WAS their strong point, and was upheld to a standard that surpassed the industry. NOW it is just MAINSTREAM... MAYBE EVEN WORSE! We are getting ready to purchase our new vehicle and it will NOT be a HONDA. Not because the vehicles are faulty... but because the service standards have fallen to a level of disgust and unethical practices. I hope this review gets seen by anyone that might be considering a HONDA for their next purchase. BUYER BEWARE!

I admit that I hold onto your vehicle for a long time since they perform so well but each time I have had to replace my car, it is due to the body frame rusting out, never the engine. It is frustrating to have the engine performing like a champ but the body giving out.

This has been my first time dealing with Honda. I leased two cars, Civic and Odyssey. This has been the worst experience in my life. I will never ever recommend buying or leasing or doing any business with Honda. Along the last 6 weeks, I have discouraged at least 15 of my friends from ever thinking in buying or leasing any Honda. Setting my account on line has been a nightmare and trying to make a payment was a nightmare. My temporary license is almost expiring in couple days and dealer is just careless. I made more than 7 visits to the dealer after leasing the two stupid cars to resign papers that were done by mistake. I do hate Honda. I do hate anyone who recommends Honda. I will always mention about my very poor experience and waste of time and discourage everyone I know to do business with Honda. I am seriously considering asking my lawyer to start a lawsuit against Honda for all the hassle and inconvenience I had. I am just waiting to have my temporary registration to expire and will sue you for the hassle and harassment and consequences for not being able to use my cars. Honda just goes to the hill. In continuation with the worst ever experience I had in my life dealing with Honda and its dealers, two days ago I received a call from the customer service of Honda to follow up regarding my complaint. The person who spoke to me lied to me and mentioned that he arranged for someone from the Midland dealer to bring to my home the renewed registration (plates) that expire on February 8th. He claimed someone will deliver the two temporary registrations today, February 8th. As expected, he was a liar and the dealer was a liar and no one came to my address. Tomorrow, February 9th, my two cars do not have valid license plates. Honda finances and the dealer who leased the two cars to me have already collected the fees for the lease and for the registration. Starting tomorrow, I will be charging Honda one thousand dollars per day until I receive the registration. The lease deal with Honda is no longer honored and I am not responsible for any payments until registrations are delivered to my address. I am also keeping my legal rights for suing Honda for compensation for the inconvenience and harassment. I will be talking to my lawyer to start legal actions against Honda. This email is a formal notification of your responsibility for the scam I have been exposed to.

My 2019 Honda Civic, brand new 3 weeks ago, has been in the Honda service department 7 times for the same problem. The low tire pressures warning light goes on after 2 days driving out of the service department. I have been given 7 different explanations & as many attempted repairs... Down to new tires. The problem is still NOT resolved. I bought this car for my teenage daughter because of its purported reliability & safety. The last time it arrived to the shop with a flat tire due to “manufacturing defect”! 1 of the 4 tires was replaced. Today they are saying a 2nd tire needs replacing. Would you allow your teenage daughter to drive this car? I am extremely distressed and she has spent more of her college summer break waiting at the dealer! 2006 Honda Civic Dangerous Mechanical problem: Dont be fooled like I was by Hondas reputation. Their cars have tons of problems and the case agents are merely customer service guys and gals with scripts. At 29,000 miles, a bolt got torn off from the tensioner causing a massive chain reaction of broken belts and pulleys. The extended warranty didnt cover it because a bolt shouldnt do that. The guy kept saying wear and tear, but the fact is that it was the bolt that caused the chain reaction and not the belts. Bolts are still intact in cars that were built 50 years ago. When I mentioned that, he said I could reimburse you for the bolt which is $1.50, basically mocking me. I said to him that the reason the labor cost was so high was because of that bolt that flew into the engine and the mechanics supposedly had to spend 7 hours to fetch out (Honda Dealership). The guy was passive-aggressive and very unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and do some major research before buying a Honda. They will live with the reputation of having safe and reliable cars but when it comes to a problem they got to fix, they turn against you. My next car was probably going to be another Honda, not anymore. There are far too many car companies to stand for this. Their cars are supposedly overpriced because of their quality, but that is no longer true. Do some research. Oh, yeah, this whole thing happened while I was driving at 40 miles per hour and it was a really stressful and panicky situation since it all happened out of the blue.

Early last year (2017) the paint on the roof started to peel and chip and is growing at an alarming rate. The cost to repair this runs about $5,000 in upstate NY, an extended paint warranty was given that expired in 2016 (VERY sneaky Honda). Also the starter motors are garbage, expect to replace once every 2 years or so (another $800 after labor and parts every time). Very surprised Honda has stooped this low on quality but I guess we get what we pay for. That being said no complaints about engine life, which seems to be its only strong point.

My company purchased a Honda Accord Automatic [P 262, Engine No. K24Z 20001515; Chassis No. G8N000825] on 28-July-2008 from the Dealer in Bardoli, Gujarat, for my use. Ever since then, the car engine cannot be started if by chance the driver runs cabin fan (i.e., fan without AC) for more than 10 to 15 minutes. I have then to call Honda Service who send on chargeable basis, a vehicle to tow the battery to jump start the car. Thereafter, the car carries on.This has happened four times at odd places and at odd times. Fed up with the problem, I tried to diagnose the problem my self and to my horror I discovered that the original battery provided by Honda is too small and to camouflage this a plastic encasement has been place around the battery so that the impression given is that the battery is of proper size. In width it is shorter by about 50 mm. I had not expected this from a Japanese Company since I have been of the opinion that Japanese do not cheat their customers.

I bought my 02 Accord brand new, and now have 174K on the clock. Ive replaced the transmission 3 times, and finally found a shop here in San Francisco that built it correctly. They told me that Honda transmissions are unlike any other standard transmission design and they fail often. Theres too much pressure kept in the torque converter, and not enough return fluid for the unit to function correctly. There are several aftermarket fixes, of course, that you have to pay for. When I picked my car up at the shop, there were 3 Accords, 3 Odysseys and 2 MDXs. I called American Honda to ask for some sort of help seeing as this is my 3rd time around the pony show - nothing. The dealership has done an exceptional job trying to resolve the issues, where Honda Customer Service lacks the ability to serve their customers and document cases open accurately. In addition, I had to take my car in once again for a heavy vibration when breaking. I am writing this to express my disappointment in a recent encounter with Honda Canada. My family has been dedicated to the Honda brand for over 30 years. My grandparents have purchased Honda their entire lives and their love for the brand was passed on to my parents, and now, my sister and me. When I was 23 years old, my father gifted me his 2001 Honda Accord, which has almost 400,000 km on it and is still going strong. Unfortunately, I was forced to sell my beloved accord when I moved across the country (with 400,000 km on it, I felt uneasy about driving the vehicle cross-country). When I returned to Nova Scotia, I once again demonstrated my loyalty to Honda and purchased a 2006 Civic. In late 2016, I received a recall notice for the passenger side airbag. I was familiar with this recall because I had received the same notice for my accord, which I immediately had fixed at a Honda dealership in Alberta.About two weeks ago, I was driving to work at 5:00am when my car overheated and began smoking. I was forced to pull over on the side of the highway and wait for CAA. That is not the issue, as I understand that it is normal for older vehicles to run into problems. I had the vehicle towed to a local repair shop, where they confirmed that there was a crack in my engine block. Unbeknownst to me, the issue was a nationwide recall. Although I had received the recall notice for the airbag, I was never made aware of the engine block recall. I found out about the recall at 5:30am, on the side of the highway, from my tow truck driver. Due to the recall ending on December 31, 2016, Honda was not willing to replace the engine block free of charge. My family and I reached out to Honda Canada to express the fact that we were never made aware of the recall. Had I known there was a recall, I would have gotten my vehicle fixed immediately. As a now 26-year-old woman, I work very hard to pay for school, insurance, rent and much more. The fact that my car is no longer functioning is truly devastating. After expressing our concerns to Honda, we were told that a representative would get back to us within a week and let us know if there was anything Honda would do for us since we had not been made aware of the recall. Almost two weeks later, Honda Canada got back to us stating that they would pay for the engine block, however I would need to pay $1,500 for labour. Not only is this unaffordable for a full-time student, but it is disappointing that an error made on Hondas behalf would cause me to pay $1,500.I am now without a car and refuse to pay $1,500 in labour to a company that does not stand behind their product. It is truly sad that Honda is losing a family of committed buyers (for over 30 years), due to this incident. I am now looking for a new vehicle, but want to make it very clear that my family and I will not be purchasing another Honda in the future. I hope that $1,500 is worth the loss of a truly committed family of (former) Honda lovers.

I went into Honda on Rt. 22 in Hillside, NJ for a diagnosis test & oil change. The service advisor tells me its just my battery. Ok so I wait for them to change the battery. Then he comes out 20 min later and says Can you come with me? I have to show you something. The mechanic shows my cables are ate up from the battery. He cannot change battery without changing cables which was approximately 600 and some change which I didnt have. My mechanic states my barrings are also leaking which was approximately 700 and some change. Now I had my car serviced back in April, they didnt see all the acid and corrosion on my battery. YES THEY DID, it was too much not to and to eat my cables from April to Oct the way it did, it was a lot of acid. Ok so I tell them look, fix it where I can drive it and Ill pay for the oil change and diagnosis test which was $85. While Im waiting they come tell me they dont have the parts. Ok give me a loaner. They dont have loaners, they have a shuttle - but fine, Im going to East Orange, OH. We dont go to East Orange, we go to Newark, Irvington, Union, Hillside and Elizabeth. Ok East Orange is a hop, skip, and jump away from all of them - WTF. Now Im mad, frustrated, hungry. I get a call with bad news of a relative passing - the day is just going downhill. Then a man approaches me about a car. I go in his office, we talk. He tells me I can take a new car & bring it back Saturday. Well that sounded great at the time so I sign temporary insurance papers to cover the new car, a privacy paper in which they said it was mandatory, and left with the car. I leave out the state on an emergency, my brother brings the car back to Rt. 22 Honda in Hillside and guess what? They SOLD MY CAR, told me I would have to give the $150 to get it back. Sorry Rt. 22 Honda - you better be very very careful of them.

In June 2011, I was hit by another car that changed lanes into the right passenger side of my 2006 Honda minivan, pushing me head on into the concrete barrier dividing the oncoming lanes of traffic. My drivers side airbag deployed. The airbag deployment broke my right wrist and severely lacerated my left thumb cutting through an artery. I am on Coumadin, so the bleeding was quite severe.

In April 2012, I took my Honda Odyssey to be repaired at Lute Riley Honda in Richardson, Texas. I told them to do a multi-point inspection to find out what was wrong with my transmission and brakes. Upon completing the inspection I was told by Joseph, a mechanic there, that all he found was that the transmission switch needed to be replaced; the gasket, gear oil, pressure plate, and clutch needed to be replaced, as well as the cat converter. I agreed and also purchased a warranty for my transmission. My subtotal was over $6000. After all the repairs, I received my car back seven days later, thinking that everything he stated would be replaced. Earlier this year, the clutch stopped functioning. I took my minivan to the dealership for them to honor the warranty. I was told that the warranty did not cover clutch repairs. Basically, I was lied to. I am still trying to seek justice and get them to honor their word. I highly recommend that no one use Lute Riley for any repairs. They do not have the integrity to be in business and should not be trusted. Next time, I will buy a Toyota.

2009 Honda Odyssey purchased out right. From the very first day this van pulled slightly to the left and would on regular occasions pop the steering wheel right out of my hands. I took it to the dealer so many times I lost count. I even had it reported to the general manager for doing a service test drive on the van. They’re claiming nothing was wrong. Yet this would happen out of the blue and catch me off guard. I felt very unsafe in this van and they would not trade it or swap it out. I now wonder if I had financed it if they would have paid better attention. The consequences were I got fed up with Saratoga Honda messing me around. The van spent more time there than in my possession, so I traded it for a Hyundai and have had zero issues. In fact the service department in Queensbury, NY is far better than Honda in Saratoga. More polite more knowledgeable of their product and they treat me like a human being not an empty-headed female which is the way I felt I was being treated in Saratoga. No more business from me. I take my money elsewhere.

I just leased a 2016 Honda Civic LX (Cosmic Metallic Blue) in November of 2016. I did not realize what a bad paint job this car had until the first snowfall. Fast forward to around January when the first snow fell in NYC, I drove to the nearest Walgreens to purchase a couple of things and the bright lights of the parking lot exposed at least 20-30 scratches ALL over the hood. Then with the next snowfall, more scratches on the roof of the car, the trunk and the side doors! This has NEVER happened to any of the cars Id previously owned, both new and pre-owned. Before this Civic, I had a 2013 Honda Accord that did not have this problem AT ALL throughout the duration of my lease. I REALLY wanted to like this Civic because of its new look but now with the amount of scratches on the car, it doesnt even look like I bought it 0 miles off the lot. I went back to the dealership (Millennium Honda in Hempstead, NY) to see if they could do anything for me, but of course, they refused any service, not taking blame for this botched paint job. All they offered was something to benefit them which is to trade in this 2016 Civic for another 2017 Civic with $4,000 up front. WHY would I do that when the paint job is just bad and NOT my fault at all. I really dont know what else to do with this car and would appreciate if Honda took responsibility for this failed paint job. I took it to a shop and the guy said that the paint on my car was SUPER THIN and thats why it came off so easily. Im pretty sure I got a car with a defective paint job. All Im asking is for Honda to step up and take responsibility for it, and theyll have a life-long customer; if not, the next car I finance or lease will NOT be with Honda.

I bought a Honda Dio in August 2011. The self-start of the vehicle stopped working within 15 days from the day of purchase. Following this, the horn, headlight dipper, and the indicators all stopped working. We had to take the vehicle to the service station several number of times. The Sudarshan Motors Service Station in Nagpur charged the battery 6-7 times and replaced it twice, yet the problem remains. The people at the service station are clueless and very rude. It is annoying to take the vehicle there and leave it for a couple of days.

We have been a Honda family for many years. However, we have purchased our last Honda. In the last 5 years, we have purchased two Honda Accords. BOTH cars ran out of oil and damaged the engines. Honda tells us that the oil light only comes on when you are completely out of oil??? Well, by then, its too late. The first Accord, they put in a new engine for $3,000.00. Right before the warranty expired... it ran out of oil again. They fixed the engine, we sold the car and bought another Accord. On this particular model, Honda KNEW that oil consumption was a problem. Our car ran out of oil and did some damage to the engine. This happened 1,000 miles past the warranty date. Honda would NOT make good on this problem and wanted us to pay another $3,000.00 to fix this engine. We filed a claim with American Honda, and they said they would not pay AND that this car had a fix put on it because it had a recall for the oil consumption problem. We are now TOYOTA buyers.

Because it was over 100,000 miles, the dealer told us our only recourse was with Honda Motors. I contacted Todd ** and he said it was just a normal wear and tear, and then said he was sorry that he couldnt help us. Normal wear and tear? A camshaft? I purchased a brand new 2010 Honda Accord from Elk Grove Honda last year. Recently I heard a grinding noise just before I started the engine. I took my car to Elk Grove Honda for repair and was told they already knew a lot of Honda Accords have this problem. They will not repair it as this is how the Honda engineers design it and I should turn my ignition key very fast in order to ignore this noise. I did some research and found out this problem is caused by the bad VTC actuator in many of the Honda Accord model. The Elk Grove Honda still refused to repair my defective car even it is still under warranty.

I recently received a recall notice for a new Honda SXS we purchased. The recall was for a safety issue related to the steering joint assembly. They say they will repair it free of charge. Keep in mind, upon receipt of this notice it is no longer safe to operate the vehicle until an inspection/repair is performed. Thus, rendering the vehicle unusable. The local dealer wants to charge to come pickup the unit or the owner must bring the unit to the dealer for the inspection/repair. Due to COVID-19 we decided to go with the first option. However, thats an additional $100-$150 charge from the dealer for a problem that Honda created! Asked American Honda is they would reimburse and they decided to recite the warranty which exempts them from paying for the transportation. Under normal circumstances this would be acceptable, however, due to COVID one would think they would make an exception and do the right thing for a lifelong customer. NOPE! There are simply too many choices out there when it comes to vehicles and too many other companies willing to do the right thing. Honda will never see my business again and I would recommend anyone looking for a Honda to reconsider and go with a more customer oriented organization that would be more deserving of your business.

I bought a Galaxy Gray Honda Civic LX Sedan new on Memorial Day weekend in 2008. In 2014, I noticed that the paint on the roof was fading (it looked like it had been rubbed really hard in some areas and just came off). A 6-year old car with fading paint? That made no sense, so I checked and found there was a Honda bulletin issued addressing the paint issues and that they would repaint the affected areas. I took it to the dealer where I bought it, they kept it for two weeks and didnt offer me a loaner. They acted like they were doing me this huge favor by repainting it for free. They had a body shop repaint the roof, hood, and front fenders. I thought that was the end of it. Well, at about 7.5 years of age, the paint started coming off the trunk. I went back to the dealer and was told sorry, its out of warranty. We cant do anything for you. Now the car is 9 years old and the paint is coming off two of the doors as well as the trunk. Also, the rubber stripping along both sides of the windshield cracked and broke off, and the rubber trim along two of the windows has done the same. Im very disappointed. This is my third Honda Civic; I previously had an 89 and a 98 and had no problems like this. My car only has 87,000 miles on it, so it should last me at least another 9 years; its just going to look like crap unless I spend $$$ to repaint it. Why didnt Honda just repaint the entire car when they had it? The quotes Im getting to repaint the affected areas range from $1500 to $2100. I trusted Honda due to my previous experiences, but this will be my last Honda. When Consumer Reports asked me if I would buy this car again, I had to answer No. When I hear or see those Helpful SoCal Honda Dealer commercials, I turn the channel. Theyll help complete strangers with things, but they wont help their own customers! Their quality has really gone downhill and they just dont seem to care.

I purchased a Certified Pre-owned 2013 CRV. When I was setting up the electronics, my battery died, after about 15 minutes of not running. Honda told me it was natural because there are so many electronic devices it cant keep a charge. So I took it in, they tested the battery, and it read good. I took the car to a battery shop, they tested it and it showed it had 6% of its life left. The tech said Honda service is supposed to try and not replace anything at Hondas expense, so they tweak their testing machines. I dont know if that is true or not, but Hondas tester said my battery was good, and this tech said it had 6% life remaining. The testing machines were the same brand. So I took my Honda to be outfitted for towing behind my RV. I followed the book directions, which says if you are towing more than 8 hours, pull fuse 17. I was towing 20 minutes, just to get home, so I didnt pull fuse 17. Lo and behold, my battery was dead when I got home. I thought Certified Pre-Owned meant that all parts of the car would last per their warranty, not a battery that would die the same day you drive it off the lot. So I am headed back to Honda. If they replace my battery, Ill write a nice report. If they dont and I have to go to an aftermarket battery, at my own expense, Ill get my moneys worth writing bad things about Honda.

Here Maps provide updates to Honda & Acura Navigation system. They knowingly sell DVD map updates that may cause permanent damage the Honda and Acura navigation systems without offering a disclaimer. On June 7, 2017 I purchased the 2017 Honda White DVD to update the navigation system in my 2007 Honda Accord. I followed all instructions listed inside the case. At first the system appeared to be updating. A few minutes later, I received a read disc error on my navigation screen. I contacted customer service and was advised to removed the disk. I attempted to remove the disk but it would not eject. I took the car to the Honda dealership and they were also unable to get it to eject. The next day after the letting the car sit, I was able to eject the 2017 DVD. So I put the old one back in, press eject and it ejected fine. I put it back in so I can just leave the NAVI system the way it was. At first there was a message on the screen that read System now downloading. After a few minutes it went back to read disk error. So now the original disc can no longer be read. Although Here agree to refund me the $100 I paid for the DVD. Now Honda want to charge me $110 to do diagnostics to my system. I researched online and see where many other customers have the same issue and some have spent as much as $4000 resolving this issue. Here refers me to Honda and vice versa. I advised the last rep I spoke with at HERE that they should at least offer a disclaimer that states Beware this update may destroy your system. She agreed and said she will make that suggestion so future customers wont continue to experience this issue. Honda and Here are aware of the problem yet they continue to sell these DVD updates and customer is responsible for the damages associated with the update. This isnt fair and they should be held responsible for the money people spend to pay for the updates and the damages associated with the update. Can you please assist me this?

I received a letter recently advising me of yet another recall for my Honda Jazz. I do not work and to have to pay out for petrol to get there and back to my local dealership and for a courtesy car is not possible. I called the local dealership to book an appointment for my car and was told I would either have to sit in their building whilst the work was done, pay out for a courtesy car or be dropped off and picked up from the local retail park.I am thoroughly ** Off with Honda and your customer service team. On the 25/01/16 I was told that you do not offer any sort of compensation or help to be able to leave my car with one of your dealerships for 2 and a half hours due to a recall. This is the third recall and you want me to pay out for your errors. My local dealership is out in the middle of nowhere and 5 miles plus from my home. The retail park is a small one and would not be enough to keep me occupied for two and a half hours, so that option is out. I cannot pay out for a courtesy car as I have advised. My only option now is to waste two and a half hours sat in the local dealership when I have other things to do.This is not good customer service or practice. You ought to have a facility to deal with the situations as they occur, not to have staff read out your policies and scripted replies. I also think that nobody should buy Honda as you obviously dont know how to make good cars as you would not need all of these recalls if you did. As you can see I am not happy with Honda and as things stand will be looking to never use Honda again. If this had been a one off it would be different but with so many recalls I feel you are now taking the michael as it were. I await your response.

Worst brand new car I have ever owned. One year ago, I Purchased a brand new Honda HRV from a new car Honda dealer in Puerto Vallarta. To begin with the car which is supposed to be very easy on gas never gets more than 15 miles on a gallon no matter how I drive. Unless you drive on the most unblemished smooth as roads in the world this is suspension is terrible and incredibly bumpy. In less than one year the dashboard rattles like it’s a 15-year-old jalopy. The air conditioning does not blow strongly enough to even moderately cool down the car in warm weather. So far the dealership is offered to do nothing about the terrible gas mileage saying they’ve checked the car and it’s fine. My husband and I both leased a 2017 CR-V. We were talked into getting the 2017 because of all the bells and whistles. The phone, trunk, door locks and auto start do not work. We brought it in multiple times but still don’t have a resolution. My car has been vandalized several times because even though I lock the door the keys lock/unlock themselves. The Autostart won’t work if it’s too cold or snowing. The phones are always disconnecting or saying no device connected. The trunk does not always work from the key fob and doesn’t always open completely and most times needs to be manually closed which is difficult with the hydraulics. I would not recommend Honda and would not recommend Fletcher Jones. The customer service has been a part-time job that no one wants to help me with. I am disappointed that I was talked into spending more money for a car with more gadgets and benefits that just don’t work the way they are supposed to. I am also highly disappointed in the lack of customer service or resolutions for our investments.

We bought an HRV 22 months ago. While driving cross country to my daughters college graduation we stopped in Las Vegas to get something to drink. As we were about to get on the freeway all the lights on the dashboard lit up. Flashing were the words Check Charging System. We took it to Honda West dealership and they told us to come back tomorrow morning and they would look at the vehicle. The next day they had the vehicle for four hours and still did not know what wrong. We left the vehicle with them and rented a car and drove back home. A month later they said they had everything fixed. They found that rodents had eaten through the cabin air filter and damaged the wiring inside the vehicle. After getting home with the vehicle I took the cabin air filter out to see how I could keep the rodents out of my vehicle. The dealership put the old filter back into the vehicle. It had two holes in it that were 2-3 inches wide, full of rodent excrement and smelled like urine. I removed the plastic cover between the front hood and the front windshield. About 3 inches below the windshield on the passenger side was a 4 inch by 12 opening going through the firewall into the Ac unit. Below the opening was a 3 1/2 inch wide shelf for the rodents to sit on. I got a piece of hardware cloth with 1/4 openings and four self-tapping sheet metal screws and covered the hole to keep the rodents out.The cost of repair was about $1.50, the cost from Honda West Dealership for the rodent damage was $ 9,720.10. This is a bad design by Honda, to allow this kind of access for rodents into their vehicle. I understand this is the same design on all of their crossover vehicles. How much money has Honda Corporation made off of this design because of rodent damage?

My son bought a 2003 Honda Accord. Three days after it was purchased, it wouldnt go into 3rd gear unless he just stepped on it or waited for the transmission to decide what to do. He asked the friend and she stated that it did it a few times with her and was told it was a clogged valve but nothing major. He checked with Honda and found out there was a recall; however, wouldnt you know the recall on the transmission had nothing to do with the problem he was facing. I started to do some research and see if there were other people with the same issue. I was absolutely astonished at how many complaints were filed with Honda and blogs and BBB and Consumer Affairs with the same exact problem. Ironically enough, the issues with all the complaints were that it was after all the warranties were expired, go figure. I decided to call Honda and just speak to them to see if Honda was investigating the issue since there were so many complaints, and the previous recall had nothing to do with this issue. Well, I was told that since we bought the car as is, Honda will not investigate the issue. I explained that we can get the lady we bought it from to call and she said that didnt matter because we bought the car, it was now in our name. Really? So you will listen to my complaint and I can file one with you, but basically you dont care because we just bought the car. The CS spokeswoman told me, Maam, I am more than willing to file your complaint, but yes, because you just purchased the car, there is nothing Honda can do. Wow, so you mean to tell me that there are thousands of complaints about the same issue, same model, same year and Honda is not willing to investigate the issue at hand? I have told my son, let this be a lesson learned, dont go by what everyone tells you that Hondas are good cars and they last forever, blah, blah, blah. I would even understand if there were only a few complaints about this issue. But I was amazed at how many there were about this and yet there seems to be no ongoing investigation to see if there was something that could be done. I am so very disappointed in Honda and their lack of concern about the safety and satisfaction of their consumers.

Since my car was new. At 300 miles, I discovered all the fluids were below the recommended marks. The car was never PDId and Honda acknowledged this. At 600 miles, the power steering and engine have been vibrating/making noise. Honda inspected my car several times and it was not until the car was over 2000 miles that they decided to replace the power steering pump. The vibration, they said it was all fixed and done. Honda was supposed to re-inspect the car in early February 2012. I am still waiting for a call from Chris, my case manager. The car is still vibrating at idle; the power steering is still making noises and also vibrates. Front suspension, which was also a problem at 300 miles (according to the dealer who tightened bolts) is still making noises and vibrates. This is a brand new car, and now, at little over 6000 miles, I am ready to get rid of it and take legal actions against American Honda. I have all the documentation from each dealer/mechanic visit.I also have all telephone conversations with Honda (I work in the customer service/hospitality industry and I cannot switch this off for Hondas case manager) and I am scheduled to have a specialized engineer inspect my car for faults to pursue legal actions. I feel unsafe driving my car to work everyday. I am very frustrated and disappointed with Honda and it makes me very sad that simple communications are not even happening between Honda and me.

I purchased a 2011 Ridgeline and within the 5 years it has 30k miles and has been in the shop 20 times and still has to go in again. Problems from oil leaks to windows not working in the cold. Honda and the dealer wont step up and take responsibility for this lemon. The lemon law board in Vermont was the biggest waste of time ever. They wont let me show my evidence that this was a lemon. Makes me wonder who is paying them off. My first Ridgeline that was made in Canada was an unbelievable vehicle. This Ridgeline was made in Alabama. Typical USA quality. Ill never deal with Honda USA or auto master ever again.

Love the Honda engine and ergonomics of the rider position. Replacement parts are very costly, but the quality of the build is outstanding. Overall a very reliable bike. Honda offers many models, but they will only sell them if the volume is sufficient. For example, the Honda ST 1300 is no longer sold in the United States but it is in Europe.

I bought a brand new 2008 Honda Accord that Im still paying for it. My complaint is that the leather on the armrest on both doors are peeling off! Also the leather in the middle console has also peeled off and I paid to replace it. The carpet on the passenger side is also defective. I took it to the dealer to complain about it. They said they fixed it, but it still comes out of its place.

On a high speed, trying to over-take, the car just slowed down and it just went off. Getting to the road side mechanic for a first aid, it was discovered that the top cylinder is spoiled. It was changed and the car started, but it has refused to go on slow. The car was taking to an auto-tap machine for diagnostic, ten problems were detected and rectified, yet it still persisted with not slowing. Each time it approaches a hold up or bumps, it will go off. I have tried all mechanics but it’s not working out. So what are your suggestions, please? It’s about a week now.

We have 2013 Honda EL. Nice vehicle but noisy on the road from wind noise and lack of insulation in cargo area. Good fuel economy but short on power going up hills and mountains. Seats are leather and good passenger leg room in front and rear seating.

I have owned many motorcycles since my first in college but I keep going back to Honda. My most recent is the Shadow Sabre and I am very pleased with it. While there are a great deal of motorcycles out there with as good looks and features as my Honda not many that are as reliable. I have been problem-free with all of my Honda bikes over the last 25 years and will stick with them.

We have a 2010 Honda Odyssey with less than 60,000 miles on it. For the first few years, we had our servicing on the vehicle done at the local Honda dealer. After a few years spending several hours at each visit, we were told by multiple people in our small town about a local mechanic in town who is honest and fair. We switched to this mechanic to support local businesses and it is much more convenient and way less expensive. At our last check up for the car, the mechanic found a leak in the steering rack. It is quite a pricey item to fix and the mechanic stated that a car with our age/mileage should not be experiencing this issue and suggested we call Honda to see if they would do right by us. We promptly called Honda and were instructed to contact our local Honda dealer, have the car inspected and call them back. Apparently, there is a warranty extension on the steering pump (not the steering rack). When we called the dealer, we were informed that they would charge $134 to inspect the vehicle and if it was the steering pump, we would get our money back. Otherwise, it is $134 out of our pocket. As we attempted to make an appointment, the gentleman we spoke with took no information, didnt give us a time and actually laughed (this was from Joyce Honda in Denville, NJ). We called Honda customer service back and asked to have the $134 waived as we were certain that the problem was with the rack, not the pump, and since we are looking at a costly repair, we arent willing to waste an additional $134. We were told that all dealers are independently owned and the fee cant be waived. We were also told that they cant help us without having one of their independently owned dealers see the car. They also instructed us that after paying the $134, our case would go to a group who would look at our loyalty to Honda; how often we used their dealers to service our cars and how often we have bought a Honda. Our issue is this; clearly there is a faulty part here and yet Honda is not willing to fix the issue easily. We arent willing to front any cost here especially since we arent confident we are loyal customers since we have our servicing done elsewhere. This is our second and we have to say LAST Honda that we will ever own. Our local mechanic will get our business and we are confident he will fix the problem and all will be well, however, we should not have to cover the cost of a faulty part. Very wrong.

I own a 2011 Honda Accord of which I bought brand new in May of this year. Within three days of buying, I turned on the A/C and it wouldnt work. I took it in and they said that it wasnt plugged in from the factory. The funny thing is that I had the checklist from the factory and the A/C was signed off as working. Hmm! The second incident was when the car had about 3,000 miles and the check engine light came on. I took it in and they said that my O2 sensor was bad and they needed to replace it. Upon switching out the O2 sensor, they realized that the VTEC solenoid had a leak and it was leaking oil over the O2 sensors destroying it. They then replaced them both.My Honda now has about 10,000 miles and the A/C quit working again within the past two weeks. I took it in today and they told me that a small rock must have flown through my grill puncturing my A/C condenser and all of the freon leaked out. Now, I need multiple parts replaced. The cost is about $960 and it is not covered by the warranty. The serviceman told my husband that he sees this happening a lot. It is so frustrating to purchase a Honda that is supposed to be one of the most reliable cars and it is constantly failing. I am afraid to pay the grand to fix it only to have it possibly happen again. I think that I have counted eight times that it has been in/out of the shop to either be assessed or fixed. I am so done with Hondas!

This is a 2008 Honda CR-V with current miles of 39,271 which was delivered June 26, 2008 from White Plains Honda Westchester New York.It is with great concern that I am forced to express my disgust in realizing that the right front strut of the vehicle mentioned above has ceased to be functional, not withstanding that fact that this occurred right after the time of the warranty expiration and with the vehicle only achieving the miles stated above.I am hereby requesting that special consideration be given to the replacement of the defective strut as an act of good faith, bearing in mind that the vehicle has never been in an accident and is only driven from home to office, to the supermarket and occasionally to transport a family member to and from the airport. In addition, all the service schedules has been adhered to at the New Rochelle Honda Dealership that is closer to my home. I am happy with the performance of the vehicle otherwise, except at approximately 3,000 miles the entire steering assembly had to be replaced due to excessive power steering under steer (very stiff). The matter with the right front strut is unresolved and await your prompt and positive response in this important matter. Please allow me to quote an excerpt from one of your honda advertisement on the airways, After all this vehicle is a Honda

I plan to buy out a lease and was informed by the dealer that Honda Canada requires a safety inspection and I have to pay for the inspection. My question is why the customer is responsible to pay. I think Honda Canada is the party who are suppose to make sure the vehicle is safe when selling to people. I called Honda Canada. The representative did not have a good reason except saying repeated that the dealer has advised me correctly and it is in the contract. I describe the representative acted somewhat professional, but definitely not friendly.
