2022 Ford Maverick

The Ford Maverick is a compact pickup truck manufactured by Ford Motor Company. Here are some key details about the Ford Maverick:

Compact Pickup:

The Ford Maverick is positioned as a compact pickup truck, designed to provide a versatile and fuel-efficient option for consumers in the pickup truck market.

Unibody Construction:

One notable feature of the Ford Maverick is its unibody construction. Unlike traditional body-on-frame trucks, the Maverick utilizes a unibody platform, similar to that of crossover SUVs. This design choice contributes to a more car-like ride and potentially better fuel efficiency.

Hybrid Powertrain:

The Ford Maverick is available with a hybrid powertrain option, making it one of the first hybrid pickup trucks in its class. The hybrid system is designed to provide improved fuel efficiency, particularly in urban driving conditions.

Affordable Pricing:

Ford positioned the Maverick as an affordable option in the pickup truck market. It is intended to appeal to consumers who may not need the larger and more expensive trucks in Ford's lineup.

Technology and Features:

The Maverick is equipped with modern technology features, including an infotainment system with touchscreen interface, smartphone integration, and available driver-assistance features.

Cargo Bed and Versatility:

Despite its compact size, the Maverick offers a functional cargo bed for hauling items. The bed includes features like tie-downs and available accessories to enhance its versatility.

Trim Levels:

The Maverick is typically offered in different trim levels, each with varying features and capabilities. Trim levels may include base models, XLT, and others, depending on the model year.

Please note that specific features, trims, and details may vary depending on the model year and regional specifications. For the most accurate and up-to-date information about the Ford Maverick, I recommend checking the official Ford website or contacting a Ford dealership.

I bought a 2016 F450 truck. I bought it brand new. I put 16203 miles on it. Its now 1 year old. The ac is not blowing so I bring it to the dealership that I bought it from. They tell me the evaporator coil is clogged up. They want $2400 to repair. They tell me this is not covered under warranty. I have a brand new truck with no air conditioning. I also bought a 2018 F450 and a 2018 Explorer for my wife. 3 trucks in one year from Ford. It seems like they would be a little more interested in fixing the problem instead of trying to make me pay $2400 to fix a brand new truck???

My 2013 Ford Fiesta hatchback titanium required a tow in year 3 with no other issues other than the battery dying and the radio console freezing up a few times which I was able to fix myself. It is an American made car that was extremely well priced with attractive features such as moonroof, leather seats, heated seats, rear camera, GPS system, enhanced audio sound system that a lot of the foreign cars offer at their base price models. It came in a manual which was important to me and hard to find. Some of the car pieces are made of plastic though where it should not be. The hood latch and several metal pieces under the hood have seized which I find absurd since I take great care of my vehicle. The whole vehicle is dependent upon a computer system that can be quite finicky at times especially when wet or cold outside.

Ford Flex SE 4dr Crossover 2013 car and I am experiencing for the 2nd time a door ajar issue. I fixed one door already and now a 2nd door is having the issue. Not a big problem but it triggers the alarm to go off randomly. And of course it goes off in the middle of the night 2 am, 5 am, its 3 nights in a row!!! I chatted with Ford and they took my feedback and ignored my issue. Online there are tons people experiencing this issue and Ford does not care or do a recall or fix it!!! WOW. Such terrible service. I have been a Ford driver for 30 years but this will be my last Ford!!!

To be brief: More than a dozen phone calls. More than half a dozen emails. Two different Map Update Drives. Poor Customer Service - No knowledge of system, careless attitude, multiple call you backs (without a call back). No follow up. Completely messed up Navigation System in vehicle. System will not update, continues to flash screen throughout the day while driving about incomplete update, voice command Nav totally disabled, maps reverted to earlier version with missing data. Suggestion: Dont buy a FORD. They dont understand the tech they put in their vehicles and will give you the run around hoping you will go away instead of fixing the problem.

In 2016, we purchased a Ford Focus (with the dreaded automatic dual clutch) with ~35,000 miles. We paid extra for a 100,000 mile extended warranty. Within the first few months of owning it, it started shuddering. We took it in and they suggested we use an aftermarket air filter (green filter). We did so, and the shuddering was reduced.Five years later, the car has 67,000 miles on it and it started shifting pretty hard and the shuddering was more pronounced. We took it in and I told them I suspected the TCM was bad (which was still under warranty). They told me I was wrong and it was the clutch (which of course, isnt under warranty). I said that didnt sound right because the clutch was rated for 100,000 miles... So either the TCM was bad, the TCM caused the transmission to shift improperly, which caused the clutch to wear out prematurely, or it was a defective clutch. We went back and forth and they ENSURED me that it was the clutch. $1,600 and a new clutch later, they call me back and tell me Actually, I guess it IS the TCM. When I asked about a refund for the clutch, they told me to pound sand. The car has now been in the shop waiting on a warranty repair for the TCM for over four months. We call weekly for an update and there is still no expected completion date. They said it could be as long as a year. We just want to get it repaired and sell the piece of crap so we dont ever have to deal with this headache again.

I have my Ford Raptor in the service dept for the cam phase issue which is a recall. I get the notice when my truck is out of the warranty, so guess what, Ford will not cover the cost, but to add to this injury they dont have parts available for this recall. My truck has been sitting in a Ford Service Dept for 2 months waiting on these phasers, with no eta. on parts, and no assistance. Ford may look good but they do not stand behind the product, Chevy will definitely be my next choice.

On Saturday, November 14th, I came outside to start my car, the car would not turn and I had a notice to Service Power Steering Now. Just the day before the car drove fine no issues. I researched the issue and it is well known and also had a class action lawsuit against it. When speaking to Ford Motor Company, they had no desire to fix the issue because it was not recalled, although thousands of 2010 Ford Fusions have this issue. I spoke to the local Ford Dealership who has my car and the service tech said this is 99.9% not my fault and there is nothing I could have done to prevent this from happening because it is an Electrical System Failure. In trying to get the issue resolved for my American car, I spoke to several unpleasant representatives in the Philippines and they said there is nothing they can do and they can’t escalate my case.Ford stated that because my car is over $60k, it is not covered under warranty but this again is a well known issue. I would like for Ford to own up to their mistake while creating this vehicle and cover the expense. If you really think about it, Ive seen over 4k complaints in regards to this same issue, each one of us had to $1,800 to repair a part that was 99.9% not our fault. I need for James Hackett to consider recalling the 2010 Ford Fusion Power Steering for the safety of our children and families. What if my 9 year old daughter was in the car and it happened while I was driving. Ford is putting many lives at risk. And it is not fair that I have an American car and have to speak to someone in the Philippines regarding my vehicle. They dont care, they want a paycheck. The media needs to take on this situation, THIS IS SERIOUS.

It maneuvers really great on the road & its driving comfort is perfect. Mileage is really good too? We have had several different makes of vehicles but the two Fords that we have are what we were looking for & to date the service has been excellent! Our prev vehicle had repairs/replacements that needed to be done at 100k and we were not advised when purchased. Ford was truthful & did their best to find what we were looking for including the color. Their service dept has notified us any time they see something of concern and its not always costly. The vehicles are a joy to drive. We were always Chev people but their sales staff were not very accommodating & refused to deal to make the sale. Their loss!

I received a safety recall notice 11S25/NHTSA Recall 12V-006 indicating problems with the splines in the torque converter and instructions to contact dealer for repair if vehicle loses forward and reverse power before Ford has parts to fix the problem. The letter stated that parts are not currently available and are anticipated to be available in the 2nd Quarter of 2012 and replacement of the torque converter will be free of charge (parts and labor). On 5/4/12, I lost acceleration on my 2005 Freestar (VIN **) and I towed it 30 miles back home. After contacting service manager, **, at Valley Ford Lincoln dealership, I towed my van there for repairs on 5/7/12. The service manager called after inspection to tell me that my transmission break down had nothing to do with the recall part. He quoted me $1,500 to break it down to determine the needed repair and further cost to repair it. I then had it towed to Century Transmission (421 E St, Lemoore, CA 93245; 559-925-8853) where it was repaired for the cost of $2,091. The owner, Raul, informed me that the torque converter had worn splines and was indeed the needed repair. The receipt and part were taken back to service manager, who consulted his technician, **. Upon inspecting the part, technician stated that the part was shot and that the repair cost was not bad and that they would have charged at least that much. The service manager said he would use my receipt to see if I could get some if any of my money back. When the owner, Jack Keller, was contacted, he indicated that I would not get reimbursed for the repair because I should have had it towed back to Ford for repair even though I was told it was not the covered part. In addition to not trusting Ford to be honest at that point, it would have been my 4th tow and I would still have owed Century for labor. I have the original receipt and the removed torque converter in my possession for needed inspection and proof that the splines are worn and the torque converter is bad. I would like to be reimbursed for the cost of repair to my transmission ($2,091).

I have owned so many vehicles and finally purchased a Ford focus this past year. By far the worst experience of my life. I brought a 2013 Ford focus that had a recall on the transmission control modular. After taking it to a Ford dealer they told me the part was on backorder and they had no estimate of when it would be fixed. Fast forward 8 weeks later, still not fixed, they refuse to give me a rental saying there is none available, Ive called and spoke to supervisors of Ford company and get nowhere. They have the worst customer service. We are currently looking to buy another car while we wait for that piece of junk Ford to be fixed which could take anywhere from a day to years at this point and the second we get it back, we are listing it for sale!!! I will NEVER buy a Ford again!!!

I had my truck parked in front of my house on January 2011. I left the car running outside and went inside the house. When I looked outside my car was on fire under the hood. I just had time to call the fire department. If we hadnt looked outside our house would have been burnt and my family in danger. I didnt have full coverage. I had a total loss on that car. I contacted Ford Motor Company to make a complaint and I was told that there was no recalls on that truck for that specific year. I did many researches online and found many trucks the same year had caught fire just like mine and that there were only recalls from 1999 to 2003 due to the same issue that happened to my 2004 truck.

I purchased a 2012 Ford Certified Pre-Owned Focus in August of 2015. The car had just over 22,000 miles. It was in exceptionally good condition and appeared to be well cared for. I was very reluctant to buy a Ford product because I had a terrible experience with Ford 15+ years ago. I planned to purchase a Chevy Cruze when a friend told me to reconsider Ford and look at a Focus. I visited a Ford dealer and compared the Focus to the Cruze. They were pretty comparable across the board. My daughter pushed for the Focus. We drove a Focus and talked to a couple different dealers quite a bit. I remained skeptical. The dealer convinced us to buy a Certified Focus because it came with an extended the bumper to bumper warranty for 12 months/12,0000 miles and a powertrain warranty extension to 7 years/100,000 miles. The warranty convinced me to give Ford a second chance. My daughter really likes her car and has no real complaints so far.Last week, the car came due for the first oil change. I told her to take it to the Ford Dealer and also let them know that the transmission was not shifting correctly as well as the vents in the rear deck were disintegrating. If you touch them and they literally turn to dust. The dealer told her that the transmission was part of a recall and that she would need to make an appointment to have it reprogrammed. The rear deck was not covered under warranty. I called the dealer back and spoke to the service dept letting them know the car is Ford Certified and that it should be covered under the extended bumper to bumper coverage. The service writer told me that the 12 Month/12,000 mile warranty expires on 8/8/2016, however, Ford CPO is a limited warranty that covers selected parts. They also clarified that Ford CPO does NOT extend the bumper to bumper warranty. It is a limited warranty. There is a specific list of items that are covered. The Ford warranty also has a $100 deductible. That was news to me. I had purchased vehicles certified by other manufacturers and never had a deductible or been told that the bumper to bumper portion has a limited list of repairs. The Ford sales people made it sound the same as other CPO programs.I decided to call Ford Motor Company to verify what I was told. Prior to calling I did some research into the issues we reported with our Focus. Apparently both issues are known problems with Focus sedans. Ford issued a Technical Service Bulletin documenting the rear deck problem and provided instructions for dealers how to perform the repair. The transmission was recalled as we were told. Seems pretty straight forward so far.I called Ford and spoke to Amanda. I told her about the Ford Focus Owners website where there are many complaints about the rear deck dissolving into powder and provided the TSB number that documents the problem. Amanda kept informing me that she was not aware of the issue and kept trying to refer me back to the dealer. I went round and round with her. She seemed quick with the phrases: I am not aware of the issue, I do not have access to that information, I am not able to diagnose the problem over the phone. She was clearly trying to get me off the phone. I was not asking her for a diagnosis. I informed her that a Ford dealer already did the diagnosis. I told her I wanted to know if the warranty covers replacement of the failed parts. The car at this point had 28,000 miles and should not be dissolving into dust. She said that she had conflicting information about coverage. One document said the repair should be covered, the other said it was not. She said she would call me back after doing some research. I never received a callback.I waited a few days and contacted Ford Motor Company again. I spoke to Nick this time. Nick said that there was no record of my previous call. I was not surprised. I had to start over and tell him the whole story. I went round and round again. It was nearly a repeat conversation. Nick like Amanda insisted that he could not diagnose the car over the phone. I was starting to get angry because I clearly was NOT asking for a diagnosis. I asked again and again if the part identified in the TSB failed, does the Ford CPO warranty cover the repair? Seemed pretty clear to me, but he kept trying to make the issue about the diagnosis and again kept repeating that he could not diagnose the issue over the phone and that I needed to go to a Ford dealer. I bet he said I dont have access to that information or some variant of it at least 10+ times. We continued to go round and round. Finally I decided to go in a different direction and ask what parts of the rear deck are covered by Ford CPO. Progress at last. The answer was there are 2 part numbers. One was covered, one was not. The part that is known to fail, is documented as failing repeatedly by Ford, and has a Ford TSB issued for the repair IS NOT COVERED by warranty. The other part number that doesnt have any issues is covered by the warranty. If you are considering a Ford CPO used car, do your homework. Fords warranty is NOT like other CPO programs on the market. Ford limits what they cover and also requires you to pay a deductible. They do a good job with marketing to create the impression that their program is valuable. Dont be fooled! I should have verified Ford CPO against the GM CPO on the Chevy Cruise. It was my own fault for trusting them and not reading before we purchased the Focus. My 19 year old daughter now understands why I was so reluctant to buy Ford. The way Ford representatives handled my call both times was extremely frustrating. I will avoid the Ford CPO program in the future and suggest any reader do the same. We tried 3 times through the dealership and twice with Ford. We received the message and wanted to share it with people.

2016 Ford Edge Titanium - this is my everyday commuter vehicle and I have to say that the overall driving experience, quality and features available at this price point is very disappointing. At ~ 40,000km I had the brake pads replaced and rotors machined which was surprising because I’m very easy on the brakes. At 45,000km my sunroof malfunctioned/wouldn’t close so it had to be replaced. The dealer broke my sunshade while replacing my sunroof so it had to be replaced. The icing on the cake was that the back window shattered for no reason (I literally mean no reason!) at 88,000km. I’ve owned several good/reliable Ford vehicles (08 Ford Escape Limited, 2013 Taurus SHO, and 2007 Ford F-150 FX4) and I can’t believe how much the quality has declined. This has been a very disappointing and regrettable purchase for me. There are lots of vehicles in this segment where you get more bang for your buck. Stay away from the Edge!

I bought a brand new Mustang GT in the summer of 18. I traded a pristine 14 JKU and a 2003 Corvette in on this car. 2 vehicles I loved very much. The Jeep was still like brand new with almost no miles. Anyway, I bought this Mustang and drove this thing very cautiously hoping a gentle break in would ensure long drivetrain longevity. This car has never even done a burnout. Well, the engine started making a rattling noise like a diesel Around 500 miles. The interior had a random rattle and the transmission would often grind going in to 3rd and 4th as well as being resistant to pull out of 3rd gear. This car zat for a total of 32 days in the few months I owned it. Ford put a new short block in it at 2,000. Basically the car was no longer brand new as the front end was completely disassembled. I asked Ford for an msrp swap and they said no. I asked them to reimburse me the amount of monthly payments in proportion to how long the car zat and they said no because they dont have confidence Ill stay with the brand. I traded 2 fantastic vehicles for this pile of garbage and Ford had no interest in satisfying their customer. I buy a new car every few years and had Ford treated me well they would have had another guaranteed sale from me as I bought my wife a new car in Dec 19. We were going to buy an Explorer. Unfortunately Ill NEVER buy another Ford and I urge you to research the engine/ transmission failures in basically every Ford model in production. Im making it a life mission to share my experience with the general public in hopes that I can prevent them from having the same horrific experience I did. Have a nice day.

Ford Motor Company ignored and did not respond to our complaint about serious defect in the cruise control! We have a 2021 Ford Transit 3500 with only 2,200 miles. While cruise was set at 70 mph driving on I-5 in Late October it slowed automatically to about 40 MPH while in right lane as we were approaching a traffic slow down in both lanes. We moved into the left passing lane at about 35 MPH at that time and traffic was starting to slow down when suddenly and surprisingly the Adaptive Cruise Control accelerated violently towards a vehicle in the left lane which was stopping quickly directly in front of us. It was like we were going into warp drive on Star Trek Enterprise with another truck almost stopped right before us! It happened so fast that it seemed hitting the brakes did not slow us down or cancel the cruise control. We had a horrible collision with the truck in front of us at maybe going about 45 to 50MPH causing deployment of the front airbags. It has been so very disappointing that Ford Motor Company did not respond to my appeal on 10/29/2021 to answer our concern when I communicated with the online representative on the Ford Website. The associate I communicated with would not answer my questions or address the issue so I asked for her to forward this concern to her supervisor or manager, which she agreed to. I also called the general Manager at Damerow Ford in Beaverton Oregon and explained the situation. I had ordered the truck through them from the factory. The result was also zero help and guidance also.My auto insurance carrier did not want to address this issue saying that since the personal injury was minor it did not merit them getting involved investigating the possible defect in Fords product. We sustained back and neck injury and are still experiencing pain from the wreck 2 months ago. Also the truck is at a dealer now awaiting repairs and rebuilding. I would like to recommend that to save lives, injury and damage to property that Adaptive cruise control from Ford Motor Company be used with extreme caution until the manufacturer stops ignoring this concern and does their job to protect their customer.

It has automatic windows and theyre tinted which is also a plus. I also like that it has good working air conditioning and the heat works good as well. The front seats have a button to heat them which is very nice to have on extra cold days. I would like it to have a GPS system but it doesnt. I dont understand about how ford treats people that buy their car and just looks over it and dont do anything my self and have to fix things and on warranty. I dont understand why they treated me so bad and that people get stuck with a bill that your vehicles do work right and the transmission on my vehicles and you just dont care and your product make me not believe in you and hurts that I have family that works for Ford Motor Company and my father retired from your company.I am very upset and dont understand why you just make a vehicle and stand by your vehicles and your not and only out for your self and not for myself and other customers that buy vehicles from you and your gonna hurt so many. And this is not a good thing for you and I am not threatening you I am just voicing point on my vehicles that I have bought from Ford Motor Company. Our Ford Explorer 2015 has an issue with the anti-lock braking system activating on sharp turns. Almost caused us to careen off the road and Ford wont recall or fix it. Stay away from this vehicle. We took it into a local repair shop and they said it was the sensors in the wheels getting clogged with film, but even after cleaning them the issue persisted. This is a serious safety issue that can cause a major accident if not fixed.

My 2015 Ford Taurus Limited has left me stranded 4 times since I purchased
My 2015 Ford Taurus Limited has left me stranded 4 times since I purchased the vehicle. The problem seems to be with the fuel pump module, which has now been replaced 3 times in less than 3 months. The reason I am complaining is because of Ford customer service. I reached out to them on 9/26/2016 at 10:33 AM, and I was told that a regional customer service manager would contact me in 1 day. It is currently 11:13 AM on 9/28, and I havent heard from anyone. First of all, I have been without a vehicle for 4 of the last 6 days which affects my job, family, income, and personal responsibilities. There seems to be no sense of urgency for Ford and its customer service department to help me. I currently own 3 Ford vehicles, but I feel as that means nothing to them, and they could care less that I am a loyal customer. I feel that Ford needs to step up and take some responsibility and do right to me by compensating me for the missed income and expenses that have occurred due to this faulty vehicle. I have rented cars because of being stranded, and last week spent the night in a parking garage in downtown Chicago in my car with my family due to the failed vehicle. This is not right Ford! I shouldnt be the person that is paying for a troubled car that has only 26K miles. Sure the warranty is still in effect, but what do I do when stranded places? I doubt this will go anywhere but maybe someone from Ford reads this and steps up.

We purchased a 2015 Ford Explorer in Sept 2015. And now come January/February the seats are taking on the color of our clothes. The interior is a tan. I trying to find whom to contact it b/c Customer service number was of no help. The dealership told me this is a known issue. Then why is this not a recall? We love the car BUT this is almost enough for me to trade. The car was way too expensive for this to be a issue. Any suggestions will help.

Let this be a lesson to any prospective buyers, DO NOT BUY FORD. This has been the biggest piece of junk that I have ever had the displeasure of driving. Bought it used in late 2015, still had the original warranty on it thank God! Within one week of purchase, the transmission had to have nineteen (19) parts replaced. There have been numerous check engine lights and warning lights since this. Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor, front passenger side lower control arm went out after a little over 60,000 miles ($400 and up fix if you get it from Ford/3rd Party). Now the Sync system has completely failed. No audio from voice activation, SiriusXM, CD player, MP3, Phone or AUX. Nothing has worked. Pulled the battery, disconnected at the neutral connection to the frame. Pulled the fuse and still nothing. Learned there was an extension for the APIM module, that should fix this problem, but it expired in 2015! Ford is completely ridiculous and they will never get another penny from me. As soon as possible this P.O.S. is getting traded and I plan on never even looking at Ford again as a reputable manufacturer. I hope that this will give some of you an idea of what to look forward to should you purchase one or if you own one, what is to come. Run away, fast!

Before I retired we purchased a new 2014 Ford Edge. At 32,000 miles and 3 years old we had paint bubbling on the passenger side rear door where the door skin is crimped around the door shell. I took it to our local Ford dealership and it was scheduled in the body shop for a repair. Once completed it looked great. However, being a mechanic and building and painting street rods, I feared the corrosion would return. I voiced my concerns and was told the repair was guaranteed. At 39,000 miles and less than a year I returned to the dealership with more corrosion than ever. The dealership took photos and submitted them to Ford who denied any warranty. I contacted Ford and was told it had to have rust holes to be covered. Im so picky with my vehicles. I was furious. This was the first new Ford product I have purchased only because my wife wanted it. I am a 60 year old long time GM man. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER NEW FORD PRODUCT!!!

Ive had 2 vehicles now that have had this problem, 2014 Escape & my new 2015 Explorer. With both vehicles the leather gets a dark color on the seat backs not the seats themselves. Ive been told numerous times Ford warranty wont cover it because they dont classify this as a defect. They tell me its a fabric transfer. How can it be a fabric transfer when I wear white most of the time because I live in Florida? So today I get a reply from Pauline in the Ford customer service department stating Ford will not do anything to fix this problem. I know Im not the only Ford owner with this problem. So Ive invested $200 on specially made seat covers for the explorer because of the airbags. Needless to say this is my last investment in a Ford product. Im just plain tired of arguing with a brick wall. The dealership had one of their people put shoe polish on as a temporary fix. REALLY!?! Id like to hear if any other Ford owners have had this same problem. Feel free to email me: **. I know Im not crazy, that this is a problem Ford just doesnt want to fix. Everything else is great with the vehicle, performance & handling are everything I expected. Its a great vehicle except for this stone color leather interior.

My wife and I bought a 2012 Ford Flex limited with 42k miles in July of 2015 due to expecting twin babies. Well, it hasnt even been a full year and only 13k miles later and we are already having to spend $1100 on replacing the rack and pinion. Ive owned a BUNCH of vehicles in my life so far with FAR more miles than this and never had to have anything major replaced like this. I am disgusted at the reliability of this vehicle especially on how much it cost in the first place. I will NEVER buy a Ford again. There are too many other options out there.

Ford Fusion 2011 - In July 2015, I experienced a problem with the throttle body on my car when I was en route the train station to catch Amtrak to New York. The car failed a mile from the train station due the throttle body issue and I was forced to jump on a bus to make my train. The car was serviced and repaired by Koons Ford. In January 2016, I began to hear a whining noise when I drove the car in cold weather. I looked up online that there was a service bulletin regarding this problem. I took the car to Lindsay Ford on January 14th. By January 18th, Lindsay still had not pulled the car into shop on January 18th so I decided to retrieve the car and take it back to Koons. I took the care back to Lindsay since they were close to public transportation. I had negative experience at the dealer when I first purchased the car and should have known not to go back. Koons by far is a much better dealer for service. The car was taken to Koons on February 12th. Koons after checking the bulletin determined that it was not applicable to my car. The bulletin, 11-2-14, build date was only up Aug. 13, 2010 and my car was built Aug 31, 2010. After diagnosis, the tech concluded that the noise was due to the transfer case. The cost of repair is estimated at $2235.19. I was further advised that repair would be covered under warranty but that my warranty expired January 5th, 2016.I wrote Ford to see if Ford would extend goodwill coverage for this repair given my service history with Ford and the low mileage, 42K, on the car. This request would have been submitted sooner if it were not for the debacle with Lindsay. My plan with the Fusion is to give it to daughter when she goes to college this fall and buy a new hybrid Ford. Ford denied my claim. As a result, I sold my stock and bought GM and I will never buy a Ford. Bad customer service cost them a shareholder and customer.

I was called and then sent a letter to pay a settlement amount of $1,403.76 on the phone and in the letter, I explained to the lady (877-231-8641 ext. **) I would have the money in a couple of weeks because my husband had just passed away. She stated this could not wait so I put off paying other bills to send the money on Sept. 19th. Well, on Sunday, Sept. 30th, they came and repossessed the vehicle, in which Ford is not open on Sundays. So, I called the lady back on Monday, Oct. 1st and asked why the vehicle was repossessed. She stated the payment had not posted. I explained that I had sent it in. She was the rudest and most hateful person I have ever spoken to at Ford. I asked her if I could talk to a supervisor and she said no. I told her I had sent the money and wanted my vehicle returned to me and she said too bad the only way was to pay Ford an additional $350.94 plus the repo fee. She would not even tell me exactly where the vehicle was. She stated it was none of my business and I did not have the right to know where my vehicle was taken. I do know the vehicle was taken to North Carolina and I live in South Carolina which is about 100 miles from me. The letter also states failure to remit the settlement amount or contact Ford may result in further collection activity, nothing about repossession which I think according to South Carolina Law, the consumer must be notified of repossession and the consumer has 20 days to pay the debt. I was not even given that courtesy. My husband worked for Ford for over 10 years and we have purchased over 15 vehicles over the years. As far as I am concerned, I will never buy another Ford as long as I live!

2012 Ford Edge. Electrical issues. Gas gauge sometimes works; ditto engine warning, over heating light, sun roof, transmission, brakes. Bought new 43,000. Gas gauge and engine warning I complained about to Heller then Perry while under warranty. Never seemed to find anything wrong (remember this). At 95k had 100k service done at Perry. Then tranny fails. Extended warranty (hassle) covered that. They didnt check cooling system, car warning light came on 50 miles from Las Vegas 114 degrees out. Went to Miller Ford in Provo UT. Just a radiator cap, two days and $600. Back to Perry, nothing wrong. Then turn indicator chimes come on, fan goes on automatically, cant turn off, then brakes fail. Send it to Heller now that it is out of warranty. Gee, gas tank sender unit is out (remember couldnt find anything wrong) 1000.00, fan motor bad 700.00, then in three days they cant find what is wrong with brakes - still waiting. Called Ford, they only go on word of dealers. I asked for a Ford field engineer (Ford first call said to ask for one). Ford field rep blew me off. So I have a 43k piece of crap that is unsafe and Ford blows me off. Any attorneys out there doing class action?

Well after months of working with Ford to get something for all the trouble I had with the fiesta. Car shutting off on when I’m driving, shuttering when it did drive, door latches going out in the first 30 days of me owning it. Hours spent at Ford to have them tell me it’s fixed and drive home to find out it’s not. I finally traded it in and Ford said because I don’t own the car anymore they are not going to help me even though they sent me the form saying they could. Thank You Ford for wasting my time and money. Never again will I buy a Ford. Saying we are an American company but making parts in Mexico. At least other companies don’t ** as much as you do.

I like the sound system in the Mercury. Trunk is extremely roomy as well as the overall space and its a pleasure to drive when its not broke down. Love that the seats recline all the way back and the back seats fold in for added cargo space for the trunk. But Im not really pleased with this car like I would have hoped to be. It has been unreliable on several occasions and its giving me more headaches than pleasure breaking down on me. Also the console is way smaller than I expected and I wanted a deeper glove box. The drink holders arent adjustable for bigger cups which is very aggravating. I also wanted the car to come with 5 star rally wheels instead of standard spare tire. I wish that the overall length was a little bit bigger and the access to certain areas under the hood was better aligned for easier working space and the doors and windows access for the back seats are made ridiculous.

My husband & I were Ford truck believers for many years until 2016! From our past experience, we expected our 2008 F450 diesel (with the 6.4L engine), would take us into retirement and beyond until the engine blew up this year, with just over 100,000 miles! $18455.66 later, and a lousy 2 year warranty on the new (same, defective engine), we found out that this engine is expected to fail around 100,000 miles making it the worst engine in the Ford truck line. (Our 1999 F350 is still on the road at 250,000+ miles!)I tried to contact Fords Customer Service (which is really their Customer Dis-service as the one answering the phone only has a first name and no boss to appeal to). My expectation was to get a reasonable 10 year / 100,000 mile warranty on the new engine instead of a crappy 2 year warranty (which is equivalent to a 30,000 mile warranty). The mechanics told us they could bulletproof the replacement engine, after the 2 year warranty expired, for about $8000! My question is, why isnt the replacement engine bulletproofed already? What was once a great company with integrity has been replaced by fraud and failure. I am embarrassed to be driving a Ford after my humble retirement account has been robbed of $20,000.

Soon after purchasing a 2010 Ford Fusion... I noticed the interior had broken seat parts and each time I attempted to put it on it wouldnt fit. The tires needed rotating... There was no bulb light when backing out. The sales person said he would order the bulb... never got one. The ignition sometimes keeps going when I turn the key... The gas hand sometimes doesnt move. My minimum down payment was $600, salesman asked for $1000 and for me to not tell anyone. My payments I was told $300 monthly. I pay $389, I cannot afford to make repairs... and car payments. Went to several dealerships about trade options... and all three said I got screwed. Car might bring $5,000-$6,000. I owe over $15,000. 2015 Fusion Energi Titanium - During the entire sales process, I had sales staff and service staff would lie to make sure the sale went through. I needed to call the auto shop to have status updates on my vehicle. ** would give answers with no basis in fact and every communication he would change the times/days when the vehicle would be ready. The vehicle will be going back in four weeks to have the sealant replied post vehicle paint curing. I have had nothing but problems with the Future Ford Roseville dealership. The problem is I am 500 miles away from the dealership and I cannot show up in person. I traded in a vehicle and they took and additional four days to get in touch with VW Credit to find out the pay off amount. I have waited now seven days for financing to talk with me at the dealership. I have left voicemails daily on work phones and personal cell phones with still no response. I need help!!!!They offered me $100 to call the damage fine with a gouge going through all layers of paint. They even told me they would take care of me if I put in perfect scores on the surveys. I am offended at the $100 to go away and asking me to falsify records to make the dealership look good in Fords eyes. Then having the gall to say they will take care of me if I lie as they have constantly lied to me. I need someone from Ford Corporate to investigate my allegations to find the truth of the matter. They are willing to refuse to contact me when I need help and are more than willing to constantly, lie to me. I even asked to return the car in the first 200 miles/48 hours and I would wait for another car to come in that was not damaged. I just want a new car and want to enjoy my new car. I am very disappointed with the quality of the Ford edge car. I bought this car in Dec 2012 and it had 3 years free service and warranty. During the past 2.5 years the car has refused to start twice at crucial times and had to be sent to the workshop. I was told that the battery was faulty and it was replaced 2 times. On 1 occasion the car cooling hose burst in the middle of peak hour traffic on Sheikh Zayed road. I had to call a tow truck and sent to workshop. I got the car additional 2 years 20k km free servicing by paying over AED 3000 however as soon as the 60k km warranty was over the car started to miss engine beats and stopped in mid traffic many times. Again at the workshop I was billed for AED 1320 for labour and replacement of spark plugs and catalytic cleaning. Now the workshop has informed me that the battery needs to be replaced again 3rd time and I will have to pay for this. Any other competitors car would not have given me so much problem seeing that till date it is driven locally in Dubai only 68k km and is 2.5 years old. Very poor quality not expected from FORD.

They say for another $2,000 theyll fix it! Still, the same model, the SAME year, the SAME problem, has been recalled. But nobody at Ford can explain why we are NOT entitled to the same recall, nor how to submit a claim, and Ford NEVER called back no matter how many times we called and left messages. Safety Concerns with Ford Motor Company - 2/16/2013: As we merged on to Lakeville Highway, Petaluma, CA we began to accelerate and the vehicle revved but would not shift out of first gear. We contacted Ford Motor Company and the vehicle was towed to Henry Curtis Ford of Petaluma. My mother-in-law drove from Brentwood to Petaluma to pick up my husband, myself, and our dog. Sales manager William said he would reimburse her cost for gas and work on a rental if they determined Ford was liable for the vehicles issue.2/18/2013: Henry Curtis Ford contacted us stating the vehicle had a lot of codes they would need to weed through to determine what the issue was with the car (which is different than what the original receipt stated). Henry Curtis Ford said we could now have a rental vehicle and sent us to Enterprise. Enterprise rented us a Chevy Impala. 2/20/2013: Enterprise asked us to return the Impala and exchanged it for a Dodge Avenger. 2/21/2013: Henry Curtis Ford claimed the vehicle was fixed and could be picked up. Future Ford and Lincoln of Concord arranged to have the vehicle driven by Ford from Petaluma to Concord.2/22/2013: Per Future Ford of Concord, the vehicle would arrive at my work when I was off at 1:30pm so I should return the rental, which I did on my lunch break. Future Ford of Concord called to let me know the vehicle had an issue on the drive to Concord from Petaluma; it would not shift gears or accelerate. Future Ford of Concord picked me up and took me to Hertz to get a rental, a Mazda 3. I went to Future Ford to get my receipt from Henry Curtis Ford. The receipt basically said nothing was wrong with my car, no errors came up on tests, and it was returned. This is different than what my husband and I were told from the Service Advisor. I called Henry Curtis Ford and left a message for Joseph **. I spoke with the Service Advisor Andy ** at Concord Ford and asked his notes be thorough and include all communications with their technicians, any tests or maintenance performed, and documentation of our communications. I discussed my concerns with the Sales Manager William who appeared concerned about the situation. William assured me he would be able to reimburse Angela for the gas, but since she was not local, he would have to look into how.2/23/2013: Concord Ford detailed the Mazda 3 rental since it had a funny smell and Hertz is not open on Saturdays. 2/25/2013: I spoke with Andy ** at Future Ford to try and understand the issue and procedure to correct it. I called Ford Manufacturer and opened a claim. The claim was escalated and assigned to Leslie ** (866-631-3788, extension **, email: **). I spoke with Joe **, Service Advisor at Henry Curtis Ford, and advised him of how the receipt was written. He said he would fix it and send it back to us. 2/26/2013: I left a message for Leslie since I had not heard back. 2/27/2013: Leslie called me back on 2/27/2013 and stated a Ford script that they stand behind their warranty and asked if she could offer me a Service package to help with my trouble. I told her I was scared and I have never been in this sort of situation. I asked how long this may go on and she said she had no idea. 3/1/2013: I spoke with Andy ** at Future Ford. 3/4/2013: I went to Future Ford to check in on gas refund from 2/16/2013. William had not yet found a way to refund the gas, such as providing a gift card. William said he would have a check sent to Angela. 3/5/2013: I called Joseph ** at Henry Curtis Ford and asked if the receipt was updated or mailed. He said it had been updated and mailed but he would mail again since we did not receive. 3/6/2013: The Mazda 3 rental began to smell again, so I exchanged the vehicle for another option at Hertz, a Chevy Cruz. I contacted Ford and spoke with Leslie. I told her I was so upset and I wanted to drive my car and I was unhappy with the rentals. I pleaded to have my car fixed, replaced, or a buyback. She said she couldn’t fix it any sooner, so I said to go forward with the buyback. This conversation was really hard. I was literally to my breaking point, in tears, and she made me feel like I was asking a favor they couldnt fulfill. Leslie spoke down to me and said she couldnt control what they had at the rental agency and she could only file requests for buybacks, which could take up to 10 business days. Ford has the buyback starting on 3/7/13 and Leslie insisted multiple times in future conversations I requested it on the 7th. I didnt see a point in arguing, but I took notes and documented the 6th personally.3/8/2013: I spoke with Andy ** regarding parts and status. 3/14/2013: After another request had been made with Joseph ** for the receipt to be sent and it was not received (exact date of second request was not documented), I drove to Petaluma to get the receipt. The receipt was still not updated to the same information they had said over the phone; the only note that was added said the issue may be related to PCM. This was never mentioned to us during the time the car was in Petaluma; it was only something thought to be the issue after Ford in Concord had got the issue to occur in a picture they took and sent to a Ford technician, via their hotline. Rick **, Service Manager at Future Ford, calls to tell me they are still waiting on a part called the PCM, but it is on back order and they will not receive it in their factory until the 20th and have an emergency order to have it in expedited. I was in the Petaluma dealership and missed the call. I called Rick back upon leaving and left a message asking him to call me back. I called Leslie ** (assigned to my claim with Ford) and left a message. Upon getting home, Joseph **s receipt was received in the mail.3/18/2013: 30 days no vehicle, 8 business days into buyback request, and no follow up. I called Leslie ** and left a call back message. 3/19/2013: I went to Concord Ford, left a note for Rick ** to call me back, and spoke with William about the check for Angelas gas. He had her information and said he was still working on getting it made. I spoke with Andy **. 3/20/2013: I stayed home from work to focus on getting this resolved, 32 days in. I called Leslie and left another message. I went to Ford Manufacturer’s Customer Service to request my issue be addressed, escalated, or resolved. I spoke with a gentleman named Bruce who assured me I could get a call back from Leslie or her superior within 1 business day. Bruce was a very kind representative who conveyed a sincere tone and empathy. Leslie returned my call later in the afternoon. The conversation was really intense and it was clear she was irritated with me and felt she did not need to check in with me until she had more information. I dont even know how to write how this call made me feel. It was emotional and it impacted my judgment of Ford more than any of the issues I had with my car. I have never been made to feel as insignificant by a company as I was that day. There was no regard for my situation or remorse for them being the reason it was caused. Leslie was cold and uncooperative. End of the business day, Rick ** from Future Ford of Concord called to say they fixed the problem. I shared with him we are afraid of the vehicle and for our safety. I requested they leave the vehicle there since we will not risk driving it, or to tow it to our home. They said they would keep it there until they heard back from Leslie **.3/21/2013: I called Leslie and pleaded for an answer and she advised they had not returned a response and that the buyback request is dealt with behind the scenes and she will let me know when a decision is made. I asked why it was taking longer than the ten business days she stated and she said it can take longer in different situations. She said if I went through BBB, it would likely take 30 business days. She said she may hear back on Monday and she would call me then as she was out of the office on Friday and the weekend.3/25/2013: I called Leslie and left a message in the morning, a second in the afternoon, and called one last time in the evening, and she answered. She advised she did not have any additional information and would call me when she did. 3/27/2013: I called Leslie in the early afternoon. I received a callback in the early evening. Leslie said the buyback was declined and could not elaborate as to why. The response I was given after 15 business days was It did not meet your state’s Lemon Law requirements. Leslie ** offered to pay 1 months car payment for my inconvenience. She stated the check will be processed through the dealerships accounting department, which usually takes 10 business days.3/28/2013: Future Ford of Concord asked me to pick up my vehicle and they could not tow it as there would be an expense to Ford. 3/29/2013: I picked up our Fusion from Future Ford in Concord. My husband drove the car home. Prior to the issue, the vehicle seamlessly shifted through all the gears. Now you can feel a distinctive shift in gears from first gear through third. The vehicle now also has a rough idle as if it were under a slight load, similar to the air conditioner is running.3/30/2013: I went to Future Ford to ask Andy to update the receipt. The write up did not specify the issue is intermittent. Andy stated the car shifts hard since it is an adaptive transmission, which learns how you drive. This left me concerned on how they drove my vehicle when they put the 100 miles to test the replacement PCM. Angela received the check in the mail for the amount of $67.50. 3/31/2013 - 4/1/2013: The Fusion is in our driveway as we are afraid to drive it. I received a ticket in the mail addressed to my husband and me, stating we went through a tollbooth for the bay bridge on 3/20/2013 at 12:09pm without paying. The ticket said we owed a total of $29.00.4/2/2013: I went to Future Ford and asked to speak with the General Manager of all operations for the location. William said he was the General Manager of sales and could assist. I politely declined but gave him the copy of the ticket and waited 14 minutes for him to return. He tried to review the issue with me but I politely declined. He asked me to wait another moment. I waited for 2 minutes until he returned and brought me to the Service area to speak with a Service Manager. I politely declined and asked to speak with the General Manager of all operations for the location. Rick ** assisted me 2 minutes later. I advised Rick ** (General Manager of Future Auto Center of Concord) of my issues, concerns, and request for the buyback. We discussed the situation. He seemed to have a realistic understanding of my situation and advised he would attempt to bring the issue to the manufacturer’s attention again and contact me on 4/3/2013 to touch base or provide feedback. Rick also confirmed a check would be in the mail the following day for the Fast Trac ticket. I emailed Rick ** my letter for my buyback request, and the timeline (up-to-date timeline).4/3/2013: I received an email from Rick **: “Thanks for the information and sharing your concerns. I have spoken to our Ford Zone Manager for Fixed Operations and provided him your information. I have asked him to review the information and see if there is anything else that can be done. He has told me that he will be contacting you in the next 24 hours and will have the file reviewed, which may take a few days. If you could please shoot me an email when you hear from him, I would appreciate it.”4/3/2013: I received a call from Brian with Ford Motor Company who advised me of his meeting and conversation from Rick **. He stated he intended to escalate my situation and concerns with Ford Motor Company and request my file be reviewed again. He stated he would follow up no later than 3 business days. I replied to Rick **’s email: “Rick, Thank you for your follow-up email. I appreciate your involvement and pursuit of my concerns. Brian called after leaving the Concord Future Ford office and advised he would escalate my situation with Ford Motor Company. I should hear from Brian within the next 3 business days.” 4/4/2013: The Fusion is in our driveway as we are afraid to drive it.My husband and I were both excited and anxious to purchase a new car. The monetary commitment involved in this investment was daunting to us, so when making this decision, we naturally looked toward Ford, a company we have always trusted. Regrettably, the ensuing debacle we have become embroiled in to obtain a Lemon Law buyback has made us second guess the decision entirely. We feel it is apparent that there is a failure on the part of Ford to address this issue in a timely manner. According to the Lemon Law of California, part of the criteria to have the company buy back a vehicle is that the owner is unable to use the vehicle for 30 days due to an automotive problem that puts the owner’s safety at risk. This is exactly what has transpired, and yet we were denied by Ford Motor Company for the buyback request. As a result, we are now taking any and every action reasonable to obtain a buyback. Further, we have engaged in a grassroots campaign on Facebook, created fliers, and pursued other creative methods to inform the public of the poor treatment and problems we have endured by purchasing this particular Ford product. In order to rectify this negligence, please assist as follows (listed in order of preference): (1) get the buyback request approved; (2) exchange our current vehicle at no additional cost (unless the new vehicle is of a greater cost than the original overall cost including all taxes, fees, incentives, and cash down). We agree to honor the difference in mileage at a prorated price to ensure this costly imposition is resolved in the quickest, safest, and most satisfactory way. Thank you in advance for your help.

Back in 2005 I purchased a brand new 2005 Ford Freestar, it had a faulty torque converter, and was replaced in 2013. Now then 1 year later I had the same problem (torque converter). I just got off the phone with a tech. at the Ford dealer and told him what happened... he said its not covered a recall is a 1 time fix, so even though they replaced my torque converter with another faulty 1 its not their problem... I dont think thats fair, but then again what do I know, Im just a consumer... What can a person do???

Bought a new 2014 Ford Focus Titanium off the lot and within about 4 or 5 days my engine was already starting to shutter. I brought it back and they said thats just the way it is. I believed them sadly. Overtime it got a lot more aggressive, and finally they decided to look at my engine with only 20,000 miles. I had a recall and a few other things plus them looking at my transmission so they said they need to keep it a few days, and refused to give me a loaner car, or a rental. They did not call me, so I decided to call and I could not get a hold of the service adviser for the life of me. I even asked for the service manager and left several voicemails and he hasnt called me back to this day. Finally called corporate and they got a hold of the service adviser the next day. I had multiple things wrong, included a new clutch, bearings, transmission fluid, a part for my transmission (they werent very specific). Worst part is a check engine light never went on. He then said the parts will come in on Friday, so my car wont be ready until the following Tuesday, and yes... they still didnt want to give me a rental or a loaner. Well here comes Tuesday, and my car still isnt ready. This is about 13 days they have had my car. It is ridiculous, Ford will never own up to the problems people are having with their cars.

Despite everybody telling me not to buy a Ford, the 2016 Ford Explorer Spor
Despite everybody telling me not to buy a Ford, the 2016 Ford Explorer Sport fit my familys needs and we like the looks and performance of the vehicle so I bought one for my wife. On the way home from a day out celebrating Mothers Day with my family, the transmission went out on the freeway and we barely made it home. With only 4,000 miles on the vehicle, the transmission had to be replaced. In addition, the vehicle made a loud squeaking noise from the fans when you turn the car off, and the leather on the drivers seat is already starting to deform. The dealer fixed the transmission, but said there was nothing they could do about the seats or the fan squeak. They stated this was normal. I have owned a lot of cars in my life, and in no way is this normal.I then took the Explorer in for a routine oil change service, and the vehicle only had 5/32 left of tread on the tires. This seemed like very excessive wear for a brand new vehicle. A month or so later I took the vehicle back in to the dealer to have the tires looked at and they were down to 4/32. The dealer said that it was up to the tire manufacturer, and Hankook was only willing to prorate 25%. There is no way I should have to replace tires on a vehicle that is 1 year old with only 12K miles on it. Come to find out, Fords New Vehicle Warranty is also supposed to warranty the tires and should cover 60% of the cost. I called Ford Customer Relations and what a disaster they are. I went back and forth for with them for a month. They never called me back as they promised, and some of the reps were extremely rude.I finally get a supervisor who says that he worked it out with the dealership and that I will only need to pay $407.57 for new tires, and that Ford will take care of the rest. Not quite 60% but at this point, I just want to be done with this. I call the dealer and talk to the person I was told to ask for, and they know nothing about this. I have always tried to stay loyal to the domestic automakers, but I can see why people dont buy American cars. I understand stuff can happen to anything vehicle, but the service Ford has provided has been terrible. If they were great in handling these issues, I would be happy that at least the service was good and that they were taking care of their customer and standing behind their product. Clearly that is not the case and the stereotype about Ford poor quality and service is unfortunately true.

I bought a 2011 used Ford for my nephew. I have owned many Fords new and used. This car has power steering issues that has a recall, but Ford doesnt back it, so I have to pay 1400 dollars to replaced a steering gear. This car is dangerous. It goes out while driving making steering almost impossible. I will have it repaired and I will try to sell it. I will never buy another Ford product for myself or my family.

My car is currently disabled from driving due to a severe transmission clut
My car is currently disabled from driving due to a severe transmission clutch shudder. I have been told many different things in regards to my vehicle by your customer service team. I also found that they had very limited empathy to the fact that my car was so significantly impacted by a clear manufactory issue that I almost got into a significant accident and was fearful for my life while driving it recently. My car first experienced the shudder after a year of driving it. It was attempted to be fixed in February 2017 for the exact issue. The problem subsided for awhile, and then gradually came back. The first dealership that tried to fix the issue was All American Ford in Old Bridge, NJ. The people here were competent and were helpful, because they were reimbursed by Ford for their service. The shudder returned of course. I went to a Ford dealership in Lakewood, NJ. Called Larsen Ford to see if they could look at the continuing issue. The service advisor Dave ** who I met with didn’t greet me. Another employee said hello and acknowledged me. Told me to sit in front of Dave. I sat in front of Dave, who didn’t even look at me while he was on his computer. After, I guess looking into my VIN number finally addressed I was sitting there in front of him. Discussed with me that I had no available warranty on my car in regards to the transmission clutch shudder issue, and then stated that it might not be transmission clutch shudder issue without even looking at my car. I felt he didn’t even discuss or look at my car because he knew it wasn’t going to be reimbursed by Ford. He also made me feel like I lacked intelligence, probably because I am a woman and acted like I knew nothing in regards to the car’s issue when in fact it’s hard not to know since Ford is currently being sued for the issue. I quickly left there. In between finding another dealership to help fix the problem, my car was completely affected by the transmission clutch shudder issue. It was terrifying driving it while this Accord, and a giant truck almost plowed into me, because the car jerked forward and back with acceleration and also when braking. It was brought to All American Ford in Point Pleasant, NJ where it is currently sitting because Ford does not want to take responsibility for their poor design manufacturing issue by placing a clutch system that burns off. My car is not currently being worked on, because Ford states that only certain cars can receive the extended warranty under the Customer Satisfaction Program 14M01 - Supplement #6.The customer “satisfaction” program has not satisfied this customer. In trying to reach out to your customer care representatives was even worse than dealing with the dealerships. I spoke to multiple representatives who had a difficult time understanding my English pronunciation and each told me different things: 3/15/19 - Jane told me that when requesting to speak with a supervisor it was pointless, because they will tell me the same thing. She was also unable to tell me exactly why my car was not covered under the warranty hence why I wanted to speak to a supervisor. She did note to request a supervisor to contact me in a business day.3/18/19 - I did not receive a phone call from a supervisor, so I called back again. I spoke with a John who told me that a supervisor placed a call however he couldn’t tell me when or what number so that I could make sure to answer. No supervisor of course was available. I asked to make a FM360 claim, he said only a supervisor could do that. Requested a supervisor to call me back. In addition, told me that dealerships can talk to Ford corporation in regards to reimbursement of warranty funds. 3/19/19 - A supervisor called me at 7:00 pm, however I was eating dinner with family after a long day at work.3/20/19 - Spoke to Gail a supervisor who informed me that the warranty is not covered for me because my car was made in October 2013 not in June 2013 (only a couple months later). I expressed my concerns since its the same exact transmission clutch shudder issue attempted to be fixed the first time, and why are only certain lucky Ford owners experiencing the same issue the only ones privileged to be reimbursed. In addition, she informed me that previous representatives could have filed a FM360 claim even though they told me a supervisor could. I also asked why the TMZ module is covered, however the clutches aren’t. She could not answer that question. She kept on repeating herself, talking over me in a scripted manner, and did not address my specific questions. I requested to speak to another supervisor other than Gail, and she denied my request. I kept on clarifying her statements and requesting for her to note to speak to another supervisor in case they had other information. In short, she denied my request and hung up on me.Ford has not rectified their design manufacturing mistake and would like to make their customers pay out of pocket for their error. I have a car that is not even 5 years old in which I have to pay $2000 for. I have paid for new tires, oil changes, and checks. I have made sure my car is updated on my end. My car is not driveable and I have to spend every day speaking to your employees who don’t want to help. In addition, due to research and speaking with Ford dealerships the problem will still continue even if the clutches are replaced.Ford has a responsibility to their customers and to keep them safe. They have designed and made unsafe vehicles and are unwilling to help out ALL of their customers. I hoping that someone will be in contact with me in regards to my issue. I am requesting that my current Ford dealership be reimbursed for the clutches. I am told that even if they replace the TMZ module, the car will not drive without the clutches being replaced. Someone needs to rectify the issue.

2010 Ford Fusion stalls out and the orange wrench light comes on. The vehicle will stay running while idling roughly. After shutting off the vehicle and restarting the car, it will drive like nothing is wrong with it and will randomly have the same problem the next time I drive it. I tested it and I received the code P2111 THROTTLE ACTUATOR CONTROL SYSTEM - STUCK OPEN. After finding out many people have had problems with the same part I contacted Ford - only to be told that since it isnt acting up for them, that Ford will not allow them to replace it. The vehicle is still at the dealership while they continue to test drive it and get it to stall out. This is a huge hazard! It is amazing that more people have not been killed or injured by an unresponsive car while crossing traffic. This part should have been an actual recall. Way to drop the ball, Ford and consumer safety watchdogs!

My wife and I had a 2008 f350 for my work. We saved up a whole year and bought the truck. We had it for about 5 months and it caught on fire, burned to the ground. It was not running or keys in ignition. We contacted ford and sent the all info they asked for and their response was that the fire was too big to determine if it was the vehicle fault. So we are out of luck. We could only afford liability and now we have nothing. Ford does not care about its customers. I am a veteran and my wife is a teacher.

In 2014 December I bought two brand new Ford transit connects with bumper to bumper 3 year 36000 mile warranty on both vehicles. Both vehicles encountered heater vibration problems and electrical problems with the lights. Took both vehicles to Ford and they worked on the first one by removing the center console to see what the problem was and they found a rodents nest and body parts which they clean up and removed, but it was not covered by the bumper to bumper warranty. It cost me out of pocket over 400.00 dollars. The lights they said that it wasnt the bulb but rodents also had eaten the wires which again it not cover either under the bumper to bumper warranty so I could not see paying any more but that cost me 90.00 more dollars. So I was not willing to pay to have the second transit looked at.My wife and I both had no luck with Fords main office service because they said it wasnt their fault that rodents are eating the wiring and nesting in the heater unit. Disgusted with their answer I asked why are they using soy oil in their wiring insulation, seat foam plus the numerous pounds of recycled plastics and gasket materials. Its like a buffet for the rodents, they told theyre being green! When I wrote the checks for both these vehicles at Ford I did not see anything about them using recycled crap in these brand new vehicles, if I did I would not have bought them. I told the person that contacted us Why dont you smear steak sauce all over the car. But by using soy oil in the manufacturing its the same results with the rodent problem. While we were at Ford they laughed and said we were lucky they had a new car in the shop last week that was towed in because rodents had enjoyed eating most of the wiring but they said their insurance company paid thousands of dollars to repair it, why is it the insurance companys problem when Ford is inviting disaster by using soy oil in the manufacturing process so they can say theyre green. But the consumers are not aware of this. My grandfather worked and retired from Ford motor company, hes rolling over in his grave now.I have always bought Fords since I have been driving. Never have I had issues like this before, their smug attitudes that its not their fault rodents are the problem, I say it is their fault for using soy oil and recycled crap for gaskets wiring insulation seat foam and trim products. There should be a class action law suit against them for the repairs. But theyre not the only ones doing it. Something needs to be done, Maybe the United States steel workers union needs to put up pick lines on all the dealerships to let people know theyre going to left in the cold.

I recently bought a 2003 Ford F350 6.0 PowerStroke from a private Seller that only sold the truck because of a loss of work. I bought the truck nice with only 92,000 miles on it and it ran well and was very clean. However, I didnt drive it a few hundred miles before lots of white smoke blew out of the exhaust. My gauges were all reading normal and ALL of the fluids were full. I was driving the truck from Colorado to NY when this happened trying to get my family back home. I stopped and NO ONE could tell me what was wrong. Again, no warning lights yet. We stay overnight there and the next morning when I tried to start the truck an engine light came on. I immediately took it two miles down the road and had it hooked up to a diagnostic machine. Again, no one could tell me exactly what was wrong and could only guess as to what it was.The truck was running fine at this point. I had to get the truck looked at and the only place open on a holiday weekend was a 24 hour garage, the problem was it was about 30 minutes away. I tried to get it there but it started blowing a lot of smoke and got loud. We had it towed and had to wait two days for a Ford dealer to look at it because the tow truck operator didnt trust the 24 hour garage, in fact I found out they had bad reviews also. Anyway, once Ford opened and diagnosed the truck, they said that the Glow Plug had melted in half and fell into the engine causing catastrophic damage to the engine. I couldnt believe this! I told them how everything happened and the guy said that by the time the light came on the engine had probably been already damaged to the point to where it now needs to be replaced!I paid 13,000 for the truck and I am being told I need 17,000 to replace the whole engine now. I called the Ford Motor Company and told then the same thing but they said that because of the age of the truck there was nothing they could do to help me! Not even give me a loan to get it fixed. I was desperate and NO ONE was willing to help get my truck fixed. You would think a Corporation like Ford would take a little responsibility in what happened here! No lights came on before the engine was apparently damaged beyond repair!!

Ford no longer has a fuel sensor and therefore if the fuel composition changes the computer does not adjust and you will be stranded. We have had our 2016 Explorer towed 3 times as the computer is not able to adjust to fuel composition and will not start, until the dealer resets the computer. DO NOT purchase this 2016. It is Fraud. Now I find out that ALL the things that I thought were part of the Black label package are ONLY available at certain select dealers. And none of these are near my house. I cannot even get a free car wash. Also, yesterday my wife had a flat tire and when she called Lincoln she was told that there was nobody close enough to help her. So naturally she called me to fix the problem but only after damaging the tire trying to get off the road.My question is how does anyone lose a car like the one I ordered after it is built?? And when you pay $7,500 extra for Black Label you should get something other than someone telling you that they cannot help you. Lincoln has a long way to go, to get their standards up to the foreign dealers. I called Lincoln today, and was advised that they will file my complaint. I am sure I know where!!!! The car is sitting in the garage after I removed the tire myself and ordered a new one. It will be a week to get this new tire, without the use of any car. All this just days before Christmas. Someone should tell me why a 74 year old who just had abdominal surgery 4 weeks ago had to remove the tire and why I paid some much extra for a Black Label that means nothing??? I am writing this after talking to Lincoln and realizing that once they have you money, they could care less.Robert **

I had a voluntary repossession in 2002, 10 years ago, which was charged off, according to Experian. Theyve ruined my credit since then, and expect me to pay interest on the property I dont even have. For 4 times, the write-off in 2008 according, to Experian now put another judgement I bought in Colorado. The judgement is in Missouri. Something isnt right. I need advice! Ford Motor Credit Customer Service is not, and has not done anything but repossess it, sell it, and write it off in 2008. Is this right? I dont have the property, and no change in my credit report. I need some help, and maybe some constructive advice in a letter, if possible. Can I avoid bankruptcy, after all this?

My complaint is with Ford Motor Company. My vehicle was covered under the power train warranty and I noticed sluggish shifting and jarring in low gears. Because it was within 60k miles, I took it to their service center. They said they created ROI but couldnt do anything until a service light came on. It felt unsafe to drive but I did continue driving, the service light came on when it downshifted too far and red lined. I took video and picture of this within the vehicle, but the light shut off before I could get back to them. They claimed they couldnt recover the code, but they did have my picture proving light had been on. They also drove vehicle and confirmed the mechanical issue I experienced. This is all documented, but both the dealership and Ford is unwilling to service vehicle to satisfaction and now vehicle falls outside warranty mileage. I have all invoice documentation and pictures proving this, and Ford also said they cant fix vehicles without service light. This all took place over the course of 6 weeks or so, not years or even months. They are avoiding their warranty obligation.Shortly after, the service light came on and Ford confirmed what I already new, Transmission issues. Even though I reported the issue within warranty with ROI invoice created, Ford refuses to pay full cost of repair because light didnt stay on until just outside of warranty miles. This is definitely deceptive and probably illegal to not cover the repair, which is why Ford is offering to cover less than half. However, I would never recommend purchasing from Ford again as they dont back their warranties. Its unfortunate as Ive been a Ford owner of new vehicles for years, but I cant recommend anymore. Quality control and lack of Warranty consistency has hurt this once great American Brand.

I own a 2010 Ford Fusion. I paid off my car in Jan. 2016 and the warranty expired w/o the option to renew. Lo and behold my power steering started failing, so my husband researched the issue and found there is a pending class action against Ford Motor Co. for the exact same issue. I needed to get my car fixed because it was dangerous. The repairs cost over $1,600. I asked Ford Motor Co. to reimburse me for the repairs since it was discovered in the lawsuit that Ford knew of the defect prior to the 2010 Ford Fusion going into production. What was Fords response, Because your car is out of warranty and you agreed to pay for the repairs, the claim is denied. Ford is not a reputable company. They hid the issue and only issued a recall on later models. The cost of replacement has created a hardship on my family. Shame on you Ford for not standing behind your products. $1,600+ is a minimal amount to Ford. Why cant they step up?

Updated on 02/18/2020: So I call Ford Customer service today, again and because I havent received any updates on my complaint I ask for Adriana **s supervisor to see if maybe I can get a ending in all this ridiculous and absurd case of malfunctioning Ford USB navigation update. So again nothing, I have to wait and see if this supervisor will respond....I will keep calling and posting because this is the only way that I may help others not to make the same mistake and purchase a navigation system update by using the USB that Ford is selling for 152 dollars.Updated on 02/12/2020: After I received an email from Ford customer service said that I need to call the Ford dealer director....after a month 1/2....I decided to call today again and I call 7 times asking for help....the last person that I talked to told me that I have to call 18009008458....navigation system customer support, so I spoke with Melanie, explain my problem and you are not going to believe this, she said that there is nothing she can do, that I have to call Ford customer service 18003923673...again. I call 7 times today....Sorry you have to call back so they can call us.... call us....I pay 154 for an update on my navigation system and 107 to fix the part that was damage by the USB that Ford send me and now there is no one who is responsible to all this and there is nothing that I can do to have my money back.Original Review: Im the owner of a Ford F150 and I was advised by a letter from Ford motor company that my navigation system needed an update and for me to be able to have it I have to purchase. Went to the website and after writing down the VIN number and the navigation system code I paid 175 dollars. After a fews day I received and USB with all the installed instructions. The truck need to be running and it will take around 60 minutes, so I sat and followed the instructions, after a few seconds my screen was white and said navigation system error and then the alarm of the truck went off and the radio. So I decided to call to the number that it was showing in the USB box. Customer support. I was talking to a person name Jasmin. Tried really because her background was a baby crying, so she put me on hold. Wait and wait. I decided to call my Ford dealership and explain the situation. The only solution it was for me to drove and get my battery. That resolve the sound problem, but my navigation system was white and showed a navigation error. So I decided to made an appointment to the following day which was Monday at 9am. Monday the only person who does fix this type of problem show up and say, I dont have time today, come back tomorrow, maybe tomorrow. maybe? So I need another appointment to Thursday at 8am. There I was listening to the manager talking to customer service. Doesnt she has a guarantee? Yes she has. Well let order the part. Part? I just need an update. As a result I have to paid another 107. The USB that I received from Ford motor company damaged my navigation system and a part needed to be replaced. I call Ford motor complaint department and explain all the situation, and after a month of calls and emails I received an email said this is the director phone number for you to call it. What I want, I want my money back thats all. There was nothing wrong with my pickup before all this update thing. Did I got my update. I dont think so no.

As if this 2020 hasn’t been awful enough, Lincoln/Ford has now been doing their part to bury what little is left of the year. I’ve been trying for nearly 4 months to get into another Lincoln, which would be my 4th consecutive Lincoln/Ford, but I’ve had nothing nightmare-after-nightmare unfold. I’ve actively reached out to the dealer and the individual that I have purchased my current lease through and either haven’t gotten responses or have been getting sky-high pricing. I’ve reached out to at least 20 dealers across the states of NY/NJ/PA and I’ve been met with ridiculous/oppressive pricing and dealers not willing to even discuss pricing. I have the GM of Causeway Lincoln, Dave ** telling me he won’t even talk to me (and this is the first time I’ve reached out to them, so not like there is a bad history). Imagine this lunacy when trying to give people business? Now Lincoln is telling me that if I don’t get another vehicle, which I’ve been trying to do for months, that I will be penalized many hundreds of dollars. This is how they treat the loyalty that I’ve given, the money that I’ve spent, and the referrals that I’ve brought them. They’ve told me to buy more or get penalized. This has not only soured my time with the dealers, but with the brand as a whole. Clearly they have gone into the business of confiscation, not customer service.

I own a Transit full-size van T350 built 5/2015 used for business. After 38000 miles the left rear axle seal failed and was replaced 11/30/16. One day later the hole axle seized after just 50 miles. After the warranty repair. It took to January 10/2017 to rebuild the rear axle (no parts available!!!) and to get the van back from the Dealer (Ford of Clermont, FL). Since then the van is creating a loud howling noise between 50 and 60 mph and a loud deep vibration noise over 70 mph. Four more attempts to repair/adjust. Did not fix the issue. Since 12/1/2016 the van spent over 100 days in the workshop trying to fix the rear axle under warranty without success. Since 4 weeks my dealer tries to get in touch with a Ford engineer to assess the issue. Without success. In the meantime the right axle seal failed and spilled all the oil on the road. In addition to the incompetence of the dealership Ford Customer Service is at no service for a customer who has a more complex issue than an oil change. I called Ford customer service several times but all they do is to get you in touch with the dealers management. Ford Customer Service is only set up to make you feel good and to mediate between dealer and customer. I feel that my only option now is to sue the dealer and Ford to get this faulty rear axle replaced.

I paid $3600 for the Premium Service package that is contracted in my payments each month. I cant get that money back. Fletcher Ford in MO said that my Ford has never had my Premium service done. Ford complaint center said it has. Fletcher Ford service center said that my rotors were ground down so bad that I need new rotors. Ford Complaint center claims that they were never touched by any service according to my service records. Ford tried to say that I ride the brakes too hard and that is why they are ground down so much. I had another Ford truck that I put over 400,000 miles on and never had to change the rotors. I dont ride on my brakes. I believe that there was some dishonesty along the way.Ford has always serviced my Ford truck and they kept up the brakes. My brakes are right now 70% to the good so why would anyone grind down my rotors? The only thing I can think of, is so that I would get Ford service to replace them and thats how they make more money on your vehicle along the way. Thats what the Premium service is all about to me, is to get more money out of you along the way by doing dishonest service to your vehicle, so it seems!

The second Ford dealer did the work and did it under warranty but advised me but if it happened again it would be coming out of my pocket regardless of my warranties. Driving yesterday at 80 km/h, when huge thumping noise started. Thought that my right rear tire had come off. Stopped immediately, tire was still on. Got a couple of my mechanically minded friends to look at the vehicle, they thought it might be the hanger bearing on the 2 piece drive shaft that had failed.I drove it at 3 km/h to a local garage about 5 km away to diagnose it. They suggested that they replace the entire drive shaft with another where the u bolts and the hanger bearing can be replaced. Apparently, the engineering design of the 2008 Ford F150 drive shaft is such that the hanger bearing cannot be replaced, that switching out the entire drive shaft is the only remedy. My concern is that a drive shaft failing after only 33,000 km is extraordinary. And Ford Canada should be willing to do something to help their customer.

Writing this because people have been complaining about this and wondering which direction to turn? My daughters boyfriend was in need of a new car. I suggested the Ford Fusion so he purchased a new 2016 in December. The car now has 10,000 miles on it and it stopped running. We have had the car in the local dealership and they have found wires that have been chewed by rodents that number one are not covered by warranty. After going on to Google, I have found that this is a problem that many new car companies are finding. The wiring that is being used is of a material that rodents love and find irresistible to chew. My question is who is going to pay for this if warranty doesnt cover this? Do we have to sue? Also who do we sue? This is not going to be inexpensive? Just really cant believe with all the people complaining that something is not being done. Please respond -- you can call me **.

Ford says that MyKey is a safety feature and added security. When enabled, your keys are limited by speed and music volume. However, if you somehow get both keys set as MyKey, there is nothing undo feature that the customer can do, except take the car to the dealership, and pay between $150 and $300 dollars to have this reset. I called Ford consumer complaints and asked them to pay for this, since their faulty system caused the problem, and was told no, and there was no one else to talk to at Ford to get this done. It is way too easy to do this by mistake, and then you are locked out of your enjoyment and use of the car you purchased. Basically, a Ford customer is not worth $150 to keep them happy. I will never buy from Ford again.

I arrived home from work on 3/26/2012 at approximately 3 pm. The truck (2001 F-150) was off and parked for a good hour. While in my kitchen, I heard a loud boom and smelled something burning. I looked outside and the driver’s side front fender was on fire. Flames were coming through the hood. The loud boom turned out to be my driver’s side front tire. I called the fire department of Midland County, TX. My truck is totaled. The entire front of my 4-door truck burned. The firemen got to my house before any structural damage occurred. My truck was paid for; therefore, I only carried liability insurance. I was willing to accept the loss and was grateful that my children were not harmed. Now, I am finding out that this is a problem that Ford knew about. Why am I not notified? I remember receiving notices about extended warranty options, but never about a potential fire hazard. As I learn more about this issue, it upsets me even more. I had problems with my cruise control within the last 6 months. I also replaced the rear light bulbs because of brake and emergency light problems. I repeat, I am grateful to God that no one was hurt, but I can’t help but to believe that this could have been prevented. Please respond with information and direction that I could go from this unnecessary burden that my family has to endure. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I had to take my 2006 Lincoln Mark LT with the 5.4 Triton motor into my local Ford Dealership to have the spark plugs replaced. I was told then that this engine had issues with these spark plugs getting stuck and breaking into two parts requiring extra time and effort to do this service procedure. The cost of a plug change was high to me at $300.00 and if a plug should break it would be $95.00 for each one extra. Ive read that Ford knew of this issue and still sold this engine without change after they became aware of it back in 2004. The total cost of the repair cost me over $1300.00 for what should have been a regular simple spark plug change (had Ford used a one piece plug or redesign socket) I am willing to pay a decent fee for a spark plug replacement but I do not feel that I should have to pay for plugs that break and take extra time to extract because of faulty parts and design. I am at a loss to find any help regarding this issue.

This is about Lugoff Ford and what has happened with Ford Corporate. Low levels of integrity especially when faced with legal grey areas. Spot deliveries should be removed as they do nothing but help the dealer and put the potential owners in a precarious position if the unapproved financing falls through. A disabled veteran, who has never purchased a new truck finally decides to make the leap, a dealership who on the surface seems amazing to deal with. One spot delivery and failed financing deal two days later, and the honeymoon is short lived. Out of town and unable to review new documentation I requested the dealer to pick up its truck as financing had failed, it was their truck, and I couldnt give a yes or no until the paperwork was reviewed. Unfortunately for both parties, a drunk driver drove through my yard before my return, and broke the frame of this brand new truck. Putting on a wonderful front, attempting to help (at least on the surface), it seemed all was well. The insurance questioned who owned the truck, because documentation was never signed, and the fun began. On the verge of harassment the dealership went so far as to say they would drive to wherever I was located to get me to sign the documentation, because, in their eyes, why wouldnt I sign the documents I never had a chance to go over. They went so far as to say that the approving credit union knew the truck was wrecked, and that it was deemed OK. A quick phone call to a branch manager proved that the dealership was lying and never disclosed the accident, as a result, the credit union started that neither I or they had financial responsibility to the new truck. The dealer then took the stance that regardless, I owned the truck, and it was my responsibility, and I was on my own. Calls left unanswered, phone calls never returned, and a GM who wouldnt make contact, in stepped lawyers on both sides.  A month later and the issue is unresolved, the dealer refuses to be amicable, and now they have gone so far as to push my personally identifiable information to ANOTHER creditor, obtain an approval without my permission or signature, and expect me to make a payment on a truck I have yet to sign for by the 7th of January. As a disabled veteran, this is heartbreaking to be apart of, it has put me back in therapy. We have approached the VA and Prisma Health (my wifes place of employment) about publishing our story in their newsletter, as it obvious the only thing this dealer understands or respects is the bottom line. I will also be contacting, if approved, all local news outlets that are willing to listen, as this needs to be out in the open. I wonder how many lost customers this issue will cause? And for what? A truck? With so many Ford dealerships to choose from, Lugoff Ford (and by virtue the whole family of dealerships IE Lugoff Toyota, Carolina Dodge, etc.) needs to understand the repercussions of taking advantage of its disabled veterans and hospital workers.

The 2008 Mercury Mariner is a wonderfully comfortable car. It rides like a luxury vehicle. It also is a beautiful design and looks like an expensive vehicle. It goes well in all types of weather and repairs are fairly inexpensive. Love the adjustable seats and it has Bluetooth and wireless radio as well. The gas mileage is awesome. I love the hatch which has room to spare and it has 2 openings for easy packing and removing. I like the ground clearance too and I love the electric windows, the power seats. The radio and stereo are very nice and I can go about anywhere and the vehicle runs like a 4 wheel drive. I also love the leg room, my husband who is 62 fits well and is comfortable. I also like the roomy backseat so that the kids are not crowded. The car is like a luxury car on a Pinto budget. Some of the body parts are hard to find though. And the radio could use better speakers. A better variety of colors and interior options could be offered as well. The windows need to have better tinting to them. Lighted mirrors would be nice. Also running boards and luggage racks should be standard.

Purchased a new Ford F-150 on 6/27/2015 from HemBorg Ford in Norco, Ca. External fan came on a few times as soon as the truck was started while we moved the truck in and out of our shop and would not shut off unless we turn engine off and restarted truck. On September 1 after picking the truck up from getting the decals the battery light came on. The following day I made a phone call up to our local mechanic to see if he could check out why the battery light was on since they are a half mile from where I lived. Pulled the truck out of the shop and let it run for about 30 minutes while I cleaned it to see if maybe the light was on because the truck had been sitting in the shop. I then got in the truck and drove off. It is about 12 miles from our shop to the local mechanic shop but after getting on the freeway the Sync system notified me. I was going to lose power to some electric powered features or something of that sort. It didnt repeat it. It only said it once so I cant remember exactly. I turned off the radio and air thinking maybe its a low battery issue. A few minutes later all the indicator lights came on and the truck lost power. I looked in my mirror to get over and to my horror I saw smoke pouring out from under the truck out the back. As soon as I pulled over the smoke was coming out from under the hood as well as flames were starting to come out too. I popped the hood and jumped out looking for my fire extinguisher and in panic could locate it. I ran to the front of the truck and tried to unlatch the hood, but the smoke and flames were pouring out. A guy ran up and started with his fire extinguisher, but we couldnt get the flames down enough to get the hood opened. By the time the fire department got there, the front tires caught fire and blew into the field which started a 5-acre fire which did slightly damage some decks on a few homes. The fire dept didnt put any water on the truck because they were trying to save these peoples homes and I watched in horror. The truck and all our equipment burn to the ground. Some people say why didnt we bring it in when the external fan came on but honestly most people would have even noticed it. I know because we own 9 Fords between our business and personal but since the truck was only at our shop and not in service yet it would be brought in before it was ready to go into service the Ford dealer.I would have brought it to was father then my local mechanic so it wouldnt have made it either way. I am beside myself with this. Did the fan keep coming on because the computer was telling the truck something was hot? Why did the battery light come on (I did take a picture of the dash when I was pulling into the shop after we picked it up from getting decals and it shows the light on. Please help.

We previously owned a Ford Taurus and had our minds set on another one. However, when we went to the Ford dealer we were pleasantly surprised at how big the inside of the Flex was and the large cargo space. The automatic folding seats and all the safety features plus room for 2 more passengers. Very pleased!

My 98 F150 had been parked beside the garage for two weeks. It ran fine with no issues. Then Monday morning about seven, the truck started on fire. Luckily, nothing else was burnt, but the truck is a total lost. If you own a Ford truck, sell it or get it to a dealer now.

I love driving my Ford Freestyle. I wish Ford still made them cause Id buy another one. The only major thing Ive had to replace in it is the air compressor. Its a great car. Gets great gas mileage. Im very happy with Ford and would definitely look at buying another Ford in the future.
