Buy Lexus Automobile 2025 Lexus LX Hybrid
2025 Lexus LX Hybrid
Find big savings on Lexus Automobile(s) at Auto Helpers. Low Prices.
The 2025 Lexus LX Hybrid blends luxury SUV capability with improved fuel efficiency through electrification. Building on the platform of the full-size LX, it retains rugged off-road DNA while offering refinement and advanced technology suited for long-distance touring. The hybrid system provides smoother performance and reduced emissions without sacrificing the LX’s reputation for durability and capability.
Design and Exterior
The 2025 LX Hybrid maintains the imposing stance of the standard LX, with bold proportions, a large spindle grille, and refined LED headlights. Hybrid-exclusive badging distinguishes it, along with aerodynamic enhancements that subtly improve efficiency. Expect premium paint options, large alloy wheels (up to 22 inches), and a strong body-on-frame design for off-road resilience.
Interior and Comfort
Inside, the LX Hybrid offers a three-row cabin with seating for up to seven, though a two-row five-seat layout is also available for those prioritizing cargo space. Materials include semi-aniline leather, open-pore wood, and aluminum trim. Comfort features include available massaging front seats, four-zone climate control, and an available Executive Seating package with power-reclining second-row captain’s chairs. The cabin focuses on serenity, with active noise cancellation and hybrid drivetrain quietness enhancing the ride.
Technology
The SUV is equipped with Lexus Interface, a 12.3-inch main touchscreen, a 7-inch lower display for climate and seat controls, and an available 25-speaker Mark Levinson audio system. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard. Advanced driver aids are bundled in the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane tracing assist, proactive driving assist, and intersection support.
Performance
The LX Hybrid is expected to use a twin-turbocharged V6 paired with an electric motor system, producing around 450 to 470 horsepower with significant torque for towing and off-road performance. Full-time four-wheel drive with a low-range transfer case and Multi-Terrain Select ensures trail capability. The hybrid setup enhances low-speed torque delivery, making crawling and climbing smoother. Towing capacity should remain near 8,000 pounds, making it one of the most capable hybrid luxury SUVs.
Efficiency
Fuel economy improves compared to the gas-only LX, with estimates in the 22–24 mpg combined range, depending on configuration. This marks a notable step up from the standard V6’s ratings, while still offering the same power and utility.
Safety and Reliability
As with other Lexus models, the LX Hybrid emphasizes long-term reliability. Standard safety systems, a strong body structure, and Lexus’s track record of hybrid durability should appeal to luxury buyers who also value dependability.
Price and Availability
The 2025 Lexus LX Hybrid is expected to start around $105,000, with higher trims and luxury packages pushing beyond $125,000. It targets buyers seeking a balance of opulence, off-road strength, and eco-conscious performance in a full-size SUV.

Buy Lexus Automobile 2025 Lexus LX Hybrid
First of all, this is my first ever negative review for any company. Unfortunately, based-on what has just happened to us, I felt an obligation to at least warn others. Lexus doesn’t stand by their brand, and ultimately won’t take care of loyal customers even when your car is still somewhat in warranty. We’ve owned two other Lexuses over the past 15 years and have proclaimed we would only buy Lexus going forward for life. Our 2014 RX350 (purchased in 2015 at 28k miles) had a 100k mile warranty or Sept. 2020 expiration. We are just under 130,000 miles on the vehicle and our engine is completely gone (just 6-year old car).We spent over $300 for the diagnostic test alone at the dealership at the request of the manufacturer to validate the assessment of a trusted third party repair shop who told us that the engine was shot and would need to be replaced costing $10K. The Lexus dealership provided an estimate over $6K to fix an engine with the disclaimer that more parts may be needed after tearing it down (assuming the cost is going to be much more). This is not even a new engine replacement. All regular maintenance has been done faithfully at an independent and reputable auto service business.Lexus manufacturer has completely refused to help in any way even though a representative at the dealership says they never see this happen in these models. Our car is unfortunately not worth more than $13,000 and the cost of repairs simply don’t make sense. Lexus doesn’t stand behind its product and have definitely tarnished it’s reputation as a brand. We would have probably spent at least $300k more in our lifetime on Lexus vehicles and passed down the current vehicle to our daughter because of their perceived reliability and quality. This is not the case!!!!They washed it all away for simply not replacing our engine this once or even helping in some way (they didn’t even reimburse us for the diagnostic test they requested to consider the issue). Lexus should be ashamed, and I hope this review helps someone else avoid this situation in the future. Lexus, don’t brag about your product reliability, customer service, and commitment to customers satisfaction. Going forward we will chose to do business with a company with more integrity and honesty.
The Lexus brand offers small, medium, and large size vehicles for drivers who prefer the best quality vehicles. They have sport utility vehicles with various features to choose from. It has a very classy and elegant look, and it stands out as it is very unique. It is very roomy for times when you are not driving alone but have another passenger with you. The Lexus cars come with space for family and whoever you are riding with. When you are ready to upgrade with Lexus, you are able to choose the way the car looks. You can choose the options and colors you want in the car.
It has always been my dreams to one day own a Lexus. However, this is not what I intended or expected from such a prestigious and renowned luxury car dealership. Two weeks after purchasing my Pre Owned Certified Lexus ES 350 I have had nothing but major problems with this car, both mechanical and interior issues. The paint on the car is fading and very spotty, the armrest and the leather seats are tearing apart by the day. Typically I am the only one using the car, other than my husband who has his own car, and I do not have any children that would exacerbate the problem. Just recently there was a problem with my trunk latch that was making it almost impossible to close my trunk. I took it to the dealership, and thank goodness it was covered by the warranty.Once I received the car back, about a week later, I noticed the same thing started happening again with the latch, and I also noticed an echo sound when closing the trunk that was not there before they serviced the vehicle. Immediately I contacted their corporate office and told them my concerns, but to no avail. They offered me a voucher that could probably pay for one tire, and just wished me away. I really feel abandoned and betrayed by this dealership, and to some degree, heart broken because this was my dream car. I hope that they can get these current problems resolved without dragging me through a long and drawn out process, and not having to obtain a lawyer to get to the bottom of these issues. If anyone has any suggestions or comments that could help me, I would greatly appreciate it.
I purchased 2011 Lexus ISF used with 18K miles. From day 1 I heard rear noise at the right side. They told me they will take care of it by replacing the struts but they need the extended warranty approval. Finally they did after waiting for 1 week, but the noise still remain. Then I have to bring it again for another check with their great master technicians. Then they said need to replace the struts again in case it is DOA, then they changed it again after waiting for another approval, but the noise still there. Then I asked them to bring their expert FTS from somewhere to look at the car. Maybe he can figure it out. Then after he looked at it, he said this is within operating spec - normal noise, and handed me car keys. I then asked them what is the spec? Is all the cars have this noise. They will not talk to me anymore. They were very rude and not respectful to customers. I will escalate to the corporate and to Lexus japan as well to maybe someone care about their car repetition name and business. I will try to reach out to the owner of Lexus of austin that she may need to know about her bad customer service and the poor service she got in her store.
Do Not Buy a Lexus with Parchment Leather. Color in our ES 350 seat bolster was gone at 23K miles, picture should be attached. Yet color in our older RX 350 is still perfect at 73K miles. The ES 350 is under factory warranty. Contacted both the selling dealership and Corporate Customer Service, and they basically Take a hike. Been Lexus customers since 1993, but that has now ended.
I have a very critical problem! Im on oxygen 24 hours a day. I rent the Invacare Solar II portable oxygen machine because I can re-charge it in the car by plugging into the car cigarette lighter. I had a life threatening experience while on a trip to Connecticut. I had the Invacare plugged into the cigarette lighter and the end melted and couldnt be used at all. I was stuck on the highway with no oxygen. I have taken the car to the dealership several times and they keep changing the fuse but were not able to fix the problem. The Invacare Solar II is designed to be re-charged from the cigarette lighter.
Lexus has all the features, heated seats, camera, automated startup, etc. Most of all the move ride and the added benefits. Theres also the warranty, factory and the extended, and my gap insurance. And my plates included in repayments. Plus theres the black shimmer, leather seats, chrome rims, leather interior, tinted windows, colored lights, front grill, and front and backseat TVs. I get replacement tires for every 200,000 miles or wear and tear in the first. 2 years. Free oil checks for the first 2 years. Sirius radio free for 6 months. Theres ROOM SPACE Reclining seats, USB and I pad. Build in GPS, luxury, comfort. Auto airplay and android auto. Bluetooth connectivity, WiFi, apps. Gesture and character recognition, voice control.
You know I am a person who never misses a payment. Leased a vehicle and PAID the 2,000 to protect the car from flying stones. I didnt have to do that but rumor was if you lease they will ding you in the end for anything upon turning in vehicle. Paid for the extra mileage and then turned in early in West Palm Beach by 30 days under mileage because I was moving to Michigan. Sent my my 395.00 fee (what-ever in lease contract) BUT THEN SAW A FEE ADDED OF $150.00.Can you guess why they added $150.00 - never guess in a million years. REMOVAL OF A BUMPER STICKER. YEP, $150.00 because they didnt say hey you might want to remove that sticker - the finance guy who looks over the vehicle is a real **. Nope just turned over keys - thank you very much and then one month later sent me a bill that I called on to figure out $150.00 for what? Did you have a 26.2 sticker on your car? Yes. Well thats what the charge is for - removal ARE YOU GUYS SERIOUS!Wrote to the higher ups - called the people who I leased the vehicle from and no one cared and no one returned phone calls. Then had the balls to send to a collection agency. Protection plan $2,000 - one month early - under mileage that I paid for upfront! Perfect condition. So you know what screw you Lexus. I paid the $150.00 and I will tell my friends and then they will tell theirs and so on and so on about how unfair you guys were to a client. So maybe you wont post on your precious Lexus Facebook page without your people reviewing but I can post here and I can tell the world! Maybe thats my satisfaction and of course never ever lease/buy a Lexus.
The dashboard on my Lexus IS 250 model 2006 is literally melting. You put your hand on top and you can actually see your full hand print on the dashboard. During hot sunny day, the melting dashboard gives a shinning glare on the windscreen which actually shines in your eyes, blinding you while driving.During hot Florida summer days while driving with the windows up, the melting dashboard plastic is probably releasing toxins, who knows? The car has only 31,000 miles and the car is already in workshop to replace the GPS screen. Luckily, I had extended warranty which will cover the GPS, but not the dashboard. I talked to the company about the dashboard and they will only supply the parts but not cover the labor cost which is over $700. Its not the cost of labor that angers me but the fact that they agree that the product they used was faulty and still, not do the right thing to take full responsibility and cover the total cost.
WORST SERVICE EVER. I called to cancel my Lexus Enform service in July, after I sold the vehicle. I was reassured the service was canceled and there would be no future charges. They charged my credit card in October again. I called and was repeatedly disconnected by various associates trying to transfer me to someone who could help. Calling back the 5th time I was told that there was no charge to my account because they did not have a record. I was on hold for over 30 mins. They demanded documentation of proof of sale of vehicle to cancel the service. Do not sign up for this service or provide them with a credit card!!! You will be charged even after your service is canceled, your car sold etc.
2010 RX-350 headed to Florida on Vac. When we started using AC the floors got damp and to the point of soaked. After googling possible ideas the common issue was the AC Drain plug was clogged. Being a 2010 Lexus with 50,000 miles on it I would never expect this vehicle to have this issue. However here is a few things I did to try and save my vacation: First I removed front and rear Seats, completely took out the Carpet, dry out carpet and soaked insulation, opened drain plugs on the floor boards, drained as much water as possible, wiped the remaining moisture out with towel. After driving for a few min. I could see the water seeping in. It was a Sunday, I spotted a Pep boys open in Jax Beach. I ask them if they could unclog the AC Drain Hose under the Car (for them it was a typical experience). I didnt have a lift to do this myself. The mechanic was nice enough to blow air into the hose and drain out the Blockage (This is ok but it just blew the slug back into the AC Box.) so yes this was a success for 1 day and then the hose became clogged again. I went to Lexus on Atlantic Blvd Bromfords, they were explaining to me the number of charges I would be facing with Diagnostic fees and Labor and etc. all business, good for them, not what I wanted to hear from a Dealer that is all too well aware of their AC issues with Lexus. With Service of such you just walk away. I went to the next Dealer down the road, Toyota. The Service Manager was very helpful but still not able to help me out. He did explain a lot of options and understood my issue. So here I am on VAC with a 2010 Lexus that I will drive up on ramps and attempt to unclog the hose with weed whacker line as suggested. It could help or it may not. Looking forward to get back to New England where I may be able to get assistance from friendly Auto Dealers. Maybe I will be lucky, Next Lexus will need Flood Insurance and Weed Whacker Line.
Horrible customer service. Their sales are not competent enough to know their products. They finalized a deal with us and changed their minds because they found out they didnt have the car. They penalized us because they made a mistake. We even shook hand on this deal.
I have a 2008 ES 350 with 111,000 miles. (Mostly highway.) I left my house and drove about 8 miles on the highway. Suddenly every warning light came on all at once. I quickly got to an exit ramp when the engine just stopped. It was towed to the dealer where they told me the water pump had failed and the engine burned up. Again, there were no warning lights until right before the engine seized. Repairs were estimated at 7500 dollars for a used engine that was not even a Lexus engine. Dealer offered me $3000 for the car or $3700 if I traded it in for another Lexus. Needless to say, I do not want another Lexus.
I purchased a used 2008 LS460L from a Lexus dealer in Westminister, CA on 1/19/2015 - it had 90,067 miles. I have driven a 1999 LS400 with 82,000 mi that now has 225,000 mi. It has been the best car I have ever owned and never had a major expense. In fact all I have done since 2001 is put a starter in it at 151,000 mi. A broken trans. mount ($275), a rack and pinion, a cereal cable I broke, and an interior brake light bulb, 2 timing belts and two sets of iridium spark plugs - and the usual brakes, rotors and Mobil1, etc. I have never taken it to a Lexus dealer to get Charbucks and Bagels! I expected the same or better from an LS460L 15 yrs. newer ! Boy was I ever wrong. Now I have to replace both upper and lower front control arms or bushings The dealer wants $585 for ea. control arms or you can order after mkt. on EBAY, (i.e: two control arms for $189, which I did and they were put in at a shop for $180). The dealer quoted on 2/1/2013 - was $1875.81 parts plus $585 labor = $1460.81 + tax. It cost me with overnight postage from NY to Apple Valley, CA - UPS $115, parts $189, labor $180 = $393 TOTAL. The labor took two hrs. and $89 for another alignment. I still need the rear control arms put in as it is not in specs. Still!I just took the car on a road trip 3000 miles and had no problems. However the rear control arms still need to be replaced and the bushings are available on eBay for $49 for both sides, or you can pay the Lexus dealer $123.85 x 2 for control arms for both sides rear = $247.70 and $541.57 x 2 control arms - both sides 4 total $1330.84 + LABOR (?) + tax.
My car holds 4 people so thats enough for any of my friends or family. Its the perfect amount for any type of travel to wherever we wanna go. This car gets me happy and is ready to drive whenever and wherever. Its so beautiful and the upgrades help it to its fullest. If she was beautiful before then shes gorgeous now. If I was a car, I would date my car. That pretty much describes how beautiful she is. Im really enthusiastic about my car and I get happy with the varied models. I would buy 50 of them.
Different varieties of models and features that are actually nice and I would recommended that. Each model is unique in its own, but I prefer Lexus Los cause it offers hybrid and gasoline vehicles and they give you the ability to choose which one that you want. Lexus has many upgrades and personalization options that can be added onto the vehicle and that isnt added to the final bill of sale, which is excellent to me and I actually love that about them. Lexus is such a luxury vehicle and so affordable that anyone can afford them.
I have a 2007 RX350 with 50,000 Km on it. I noticed oil drops on the garage floor. Dealership cleaned underneath the car and when I took it back for them to check where the leak was coming from, they said it was the timing chain cover; the whole engine must come down and the cost would be around CDN$2,500. If I do not have it fixed, can I just top up the engine oil or would there be other consequences?
I just recently purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2012 Lexus RX350 with only 13,000 miles on it from Lexus of Monterey, California. As soon as I took it on the highway at over 60 miles per hour, there is a loud wind noise. It sounds like the passenger window is open, even though it is not. I have taken it back to the dealership 2 times, and they just tell me there is nothing wrong with the windows or the seal. They say the RX 350 is an SUV and just louder than a sedan, and to just get used to it. This is such an illogical argument. I have owned 3 different SUVs in over 30 years, and have never heard wind noise like this. I went online and there are hundreds of the exact same complaint about the wind noise in the Lexus RX350. Yes, I agree, as others have said on this site, there needs to be class action suits brought against Lexus. This is ridiculous to pay this kind of money for a supposedly luxury car and have a loud wind noise issue. And from what I have read on this Consumer Affairs site, there are many more serious negative issues with the RX as well. I am trying to get my money back and will not buy another Lexus.
Lexus RX 350 is a dream SUV for senior citizens because it is comfortable, reliable, and safe. The back up camera and other safety features are awesome. You sit up in a position where you can see the road and everything around you and it is just the right size for large men. I love it!
After nearly 20 years of Brand Loyalty for family of 3 Adult Drivers, my current 2019 RX 350 was in the shop for 6 unrelated repairs beginning at 9 months (9000 miles) of ownership in a nine month period and dealership refused to make any kind of fair buyback/trade-in offer for a non-problematic 2020 Rx350. At 1 year old with 9000 miles in Showroom condition their best offer was for me to pay $13,000 to replace my problematic vehicle with exact same model 1 year newer. Never again.
The issue is that I was told that the $1,000.00 for es350 2012 incentive ended on 12/22/2011. After leaving Hoffman Lexus, 750 Connecticut Blvd, East Hartford CT on 12/23/2011 with a signed lease, I searched google for Lexus incentives. It is noted on several web sites that all Lexus dealers are giving $1,000.00 until 1/2/2012. Other sites indicate this $1,000.00 incentive is good to 1/3/13. I emailed Al ** and visited him today after no response from email. He and his manager stated that I had not seen it first; then it did not apply to all Lexus dealers. Please clarify for future reference. I have been a Lexus customer since the late 90s and would like to remain with the Lexus family.
It is comfortable, nice handling, easy to park and a good looking SUV. We looked at all of the luxury 5 passenger SUVs and the RX-350 stood out above all the rest. Good performer and satisfactory fuel mileage for an AWD.
Lexus is a luxury car for middle class income earners and it is affordable.. It is environmentally friendly and of quality standard. The spare parts are easily assessible. The model gives the drivers optimum handling on the roads and one feels very comfortable using. It is a car after driving, one still dreams of it whilst sleeping due to it smooth sailing.. I recommend it to every one to purchase it. Life is good when driving Lexus.
The solid construction, attention to detail and tactile quality is phenomenal. The level of refinement is impressive and durability is exceptional. Details matter and the Lexus does not disappoint. Reliability and confidence of driving is ever present.
The dashboard on my 2007 Lexus ES 350 is so sticky and melting. I contacted the corporate office and they referred me to Lexus of Pembroke Pines service department to take a picture of the dash and they would forward the photos to them. After they received the photo, I was told that they had to look at my maintenance history with Lexus to decide what they would do to resolve my problem since my car was out of warranty. I stopped having my car maintenance done at Lexus last year because of the issues I always would run in to with the service department at the North Miami Beach dealership. They always wanted to push off extra things that I didnt come there for. And when I would refuse they would have an attitude. So I decided, why spend your money at a business where there is bad customer service skills.I faithfully had my car serviced the entire time that I had my car. When I asked to speak with someone else at the Corporate office they decided that they will pay for the labor and I can pay for the parts. I feel that when you buy a Lexus, you should never have to worry about a issue like a melting sticky dashboard. I have purchased Hondas, Mercedes Benz, and Jaguar and never had an issue like this. I will be in the market again for a new car and I will not take a change and buy another Lexus and have to worry that the same thing will happen.
I made a huge mistake buying a Lexus, I thought if I bought the most expensive model I would be happy. Boy was I wrong. For the past 20 months (16000 miles) this car has had nothing but problems and has spent more time in the dealership than on the road. In the first 3 months the transmission went, car would not move. They replaced it and all seemed well, until it started having problems starting. Once in awhile the car would crank and not start. I sent it back to the dealer and they never found a problem with the car. This has happened at least 7 times in the last year. At least they tow it for me for free. Last week the gauges just started going berserk so they are looking at that now, while I am again in a rental car. Other problems have been with the windows, the brake system, and the air conditioning. I am trying to get a refund under the lemon law, so I can get a BMW or a Mercedes. Never again will I buy one of these cars.
They have various sized sedans, SUVs that come in both all-wheel and front wheel drive. They are built well and last for a long time. They are fun to drive and come with many option packages. Features can include but are not limited to air-conditioned/heated seats, heated steering wheel, multi-disc CD player, radar controlled cruise control, heads up display, different sound systems, etc. Numerous options to choose from. Different dealerships offer different options, so you will have to check with your local dealership to see what they offer. Some options include gold plated badging, pin stripes, rubber floor mats, hood/front end stone chip protectant, etc. Their SUVs offer plenty of room for passengers with ample leg and head space. Their larger sedans also offer plenty of room for passengers. Their smaller sedans and sport cars dont have as much room but are still comfortable.
Ive read many of the reviews here and so sorry to hear of so many horror stories when dealing with Lexus. My wife and I own two, both 2015s: A GS350 and an RX350. The ironic part.... we bought them from a terrific local Carmax, not the local Lexus dealer. Both extremely low miles and in pristine condition; both bought in 2018. We LOVE the cars. Now.... the Lexus dealer here in Raleigh, NC is Johnson Lexus and, even though we didnt purchase the vehicles from them, they have been nothing short of fantastic in their dealings with us. They literally bend over backward to make their customers happy; prompt, fair, efficient, and GOOD service on our vehicles. Friendly, helpful staff. Do things for free very often. Just aces. So the moral of the story, IMHO, is it really comes down to the quality of the dealership you have in your area. If youre lucky enough to get a dealer like we have in Raleigh at Johnson Lexus.... youre good to go. If not? Potential nightmares. Guess the warning to potential Lexus buyers is this: Spend a LOT of time researching both the car AND the dealership before you act.
We just leased RX 350. We spoke to the dealer for a long time and agreed on payment $336.00. Then we waited for 3 1/2 hours. I was getting many phone calls from work while waiting for the paperwork to be completed. Finally, I signed the deal but did not have the chance to see the car (in spite of waiting for 3 1/2 hours.) My wife spent additional hour signing. When we came home and starting reading the fine print the payment was $385.00. Also, I did not like to color of the seats. We tried to return the car but the manager refused and told us to find a lawyer. Great!
2008 RX 350 with 104,000 miles. I purchased extended warranty that was up 3 months ago. Took car in and was told I need a new water pump. Bearings in water pump went back causing leaking and affecting the heating and cooling system. Also need a new steering rack costing $1,700 by itself. It is also leaking. As I read through the comments Im seeing that these are consistent problems with Lexus. I usually keep cars at least 10 years. I have never owned a car that needed these type of repairs so soon. I am extremely disappointed because Lexus vehicles are supposed to be down for quality and reliability. If I had wanted a car just for appearance, I could have paid a lot less, knowing I may have to put in large repair sums. The water pump is supposed to cost over $1,000.00. Will not recommend vehicle. I purchased extended warranty knowing I was getting a reliable vehicle and probably wouldnt have to use it. But to be on the safe side because I had planned on keeping for well over 10 years. As soon as extended warranty expired, Im have costly problems.
Ive been a Lexus owner for many years but recently got a shock on the service charge.. Very high compared to previous services. On examination, most things listed were checked and the supposed listing of balanced all wheels Im told by insider staff did not take place, as did a number of other things. Its likely less than 2 hours was spent on the service but they charged the full service fee. On top of that there is an unexplained miscellaneous charge. I doubt many of the things listed took more than a min or 2 and the labour charge is inflated. I suspect these costs are deliberately inflated motivated by greed, personal bonuses etc and it seems to me that Lexus has changed its approach from providing clear and reasonable service to customers to one of ripping them off and not caring at all.Owners should be told in advance of the basic cost of a service and not be surprised by large charges, and clearer explanations should be given. This is the norm for any service e.g. visiting the Dr or any other professional or trade services. There seems to be an attitude at Lexus that its a prestige car, therefore customers should pay more. Some friends and colleagues also with Lexus cars have found the same.. ie increase in charges without notice and the lack of pre service consultation. Lexus used to have my loyalty and trust.. No more..
Lexus has fixed the dashboard in my SUV. Thanks.
Lexus offers cars that are very fast and comfortable to drive. I am a fast driver so I would recommend a car from this brand. The appearance of the cars would be defined as beautiful and makes you fall in love. They all have their own unique look. The car is very nice, they have a wonderful shade of color. Because of this they look more beautiful than they really are. It has love and adventure written all over it. If I had a family we would go everywhere in that car. Thanks for the car. The girls go crazy for these cars.
My 2013 Lexus ES 350 started leaking not long after we bought it new in August 2013. We have an automatic car wash by our house that we have used for years with no problems. My 13 Lexus always leaks and it has been to the dealership five times to figure out why. I even called them one morning on my way to work because rain was leaking in the roof. I was informed yesterday that the dealership got Lexus involved and that their response was that their car is not designed to go through a high pressure car wash and that it could not be fixed. I was shocked and terribly disappointed by their response. None of my previous cars, nor any of our friends or family who have cars with sunroofs have had a problem at this car wash, but Lexus cant design their car to go through leak free!? If they fixed it or told me they were still going to try and figure it out, it would be a little easier to accept, but to tell the consumer that essentially their car is not built well enough to withstand the same conditions as every other make and model out there indicates to me that it is not fit for operation and not worthy of its price tag!
We recently took our 2008 GS 350 in for a routine oil change at a Lexus dealer in Sharon - what a great and impressive building with nice people. But imagine my shock when they told us that we would need brake calipers again! This car has about 60,000 miles. The brakes, including calipers, and all the tires have already been replaced once. The brake job, including calipers, was replaced by them just a year ago. We were told that there was no warranty. As I am sure you know, this is not an inexpensive repair. We have been religious about having all service done by this same dealer. I am now wondering if this is a defect. This car is not subjected to overt or extreme temperatures. It is housed in a heated garage so what could cause new calipers to go so quickly? I would like some answers. I appreciate your time.
When buying a Lexus, you may have a larger initial investment but you will have a high quality car that needs little maintenance. Personally, our Lexus purchase was the best we have ever made in our last 40 years of buying experiences. The comfort is excellent. The low maintenance saves you money. And a Lexus will give you many more miles of driving than the average vehicle.
2014 ES300H - Will NEVER buy another Lexus nor recommend one to family/friends. They DONT stand by their product. Car was only 3 years old & the front passenger door lock malfunctioned. It needed a new door lock actuator. Because I was out of warranty (over 50K miles), they said it wouldnt be covered & the cost was significant. The dealership convinced them since the car was still new, they should cover the cost. Eventually they did. Approximately 9 mos after that lock malfunctioned, the driver side one did the SAME thing. Obviously theres some defective parts in this car given it just turned 4 years old. This time Lexus said theyre not paying for it - they already gave me a courtesy service last year. Can you believe this? Didnt want to hear anything about it even when I tried to call. Wow - so much for customer service! Car wasnt even 4 years old and BOTH door locks stopped working. Think there may be a serious problem here? This is not only an inconvenience but also a SAFETY issue! The dealership was even shocked Lexus wouldnt pick up the tab. Given the car sticker was $48K and bought brand new in 2014, you would think they would backup their product, especially a Lexus. Dont count on it... reconsider before you buy a Lexus!! Truly not the same car it used to be.
So comfortable, premium material, fast, looks, just beautiful. Would recommend this car to anyone. Next car next year will be Toyota, baby brother of Lexus, can’t wait. Just wish I purchased a Lexus sooner, such a great choice.
I will never buy another Lexus or Toyota product again. The last Lexus ES350 I owned, is the last. I do not know how in the world Lexus could call a Lexus ES 350 “Bulletproof” when the heads blew on the one I had at 145,000 miles, not mention the failing computer, the alternator, the Vehicle Stability Control, and let’s not forget their melting dash, the allegedly lethal Takata airbag system, and years earlier that accelerator problem. I do not understand how anyone who had problems I had could possibly call it reliable. The whole experience was shameful. Given my experience with a Lexus, I now question Consumer Reports rating system for rating that company number one in reliability. I had American cars I got three to four times the life out of than this supposed “Bulletproof” reliable car. I am sticking Mercedes, Genesis, Honda, Mazda, Kia, or Hyundai. In my opinion there are better cars for the same or less money than the Lexus ES350 I owned.
While driving my 12 year old daughter yesterday in my 2007 Lexus IS250 with a 105,000 miles my vehicles interior dash gauges and navigation starts flickering all crazy like it was possessed. Then the car looses power steering in a curve... As I try to slow down the power brake light comes on my daughter begins to cry.... This was not a good experience to be dealing with while driving your child. Thankfully I got the car pulled out of traffic and safely to a parking space... Thank God I wasnt on the interstate or the highway.....
I own a Lexus IS250, 2007. I just moved, and my car is no longer stored in a garage. My dashboard has become soft and sticky; I never seen anything like this before.
The brand of vehicle that I acquired is very comfortable, very pleasant to use for anyone who needs a safe transportation method and has great capacity. It has all the appropriate accessories and location systems. It also contains many improvements for a safe transfer.
Dash pad, door panel and (air bag front passenger) must be replace. Since I bought my 2008 IS 250 I notice that the black door panel pad turning soft and sticky issue. The black part of the inner door panels acts like it is sweating something and gets hazy and wet looking. When my nail hits it, it leaves a deep mark. Unbelievably bad issue with an otherwise good car. I would appreciate any help or constructive comments how this can be replace. Lexus have a long waiting list. Last year around April I was #696 and a month ago I was #466. What I see is going to be a few years for this parts be replace it. Which made me think about not to buy another Lexus. Feel disappointed.
I purchased a pre-owned 2007 Lexus GS 350 a month ago. I started smelling a musty odor and after investigating, I found that the carpet is soaked under the floor mats. I quickly called the Lexus dealership and was told to bring it in. The problem is the AC drain hose is leaking. The service department is stating that this is not covered under my warranty. I am angry because after research on the web, this has been a ongoing problem with this model Lexus and I would think the dealership would be more considerate of new customers who have owned the vehicle for less than 45 days.
Lexus 2010 RX450 - The front seats have been cracking/splitting for some period of time. Upon discovering that this wearing was not normal, I took the car to the Scanlon/Lexus Ft. Myers, FL. I cant tell with accuracy when this cracking started, but I am 100% certain that it started well within the warranty period. Even though the car was only 4 months out of the warranty. This is my third and LAST Lexus. They refused to do anything about it. They did call in the regional Lexus rep who basically would not give me any satisfaction in trying to get the seats repaired. I reported this problem to the Lexus corporate office in May 2015, incident #**. Their attitude was what have you done for us lately in terms of taking the car in for service to a Lexus dealer. I have spent over $128,000 in the past 10 years on Lexus cars, but I will not spend another penny on repairing a problem that is the result of poor materials or workmanship. I will be submitting a complaint with the local BBB, ASAP.
Lexus offers a wide range of cars. These include sedans, SUVs, and sports cars. There are sub categories within each type of vehicle that generally relate to the size of the car - for example in the SUV category the smallest is the NX, the middle is RX and the largest is GX. Each of these categories also may have sub categories that usually relate to trim level. The Lexus car brand has always stood for a high quality luxury vehicle. Typically each model will include almost all of the features that one would think are associated with a luxury car within the standard price. There are additional packages of specialized features that are grouped logically at more cost - for example a cold weather package would include heated seats, 4 wheel drive, etc. The Lexus RX is a 5 passenger vehicle - two bucket seats in the front and a bench seat with seating for three in the back. There is no third row in this car. Each model has upgrade options that are presented as packages so that you can personalize the options to your needs to a degree. You are forced to go with a package even if you do not want or need everything in that package. That is a drawback to me.
I love this car and brand. Air conditioning all around, antilock brakes, power windows, Sirius radio, back up camera, ashtrays behind each seat, up front black leather seats and a very good warranty with OnStar Wi-Fi connection. Also, it holds 6 people with plenty of leg room and comfortable seats and seat belts. Upgrade and personalizations include tinted windows, Onstar, back seat DVD, child seats, seat belts, CD player, mp3 player and compatible new tires.
I received a letter from Lexus today informing me that my two Lexus cars (IS 250 and ES 350) will be recalled at some point in the future due to a defect in the Takata Front Passenger Airbag Inflator. It said the airbag can deploy due to this defect and possibly send metal fragments through the airbag striking and possibly injuring or killing the vehicle occupant. It also said that Lexus is working on preparing a remedy and will send another notification when the remedy becomes available. Then it says What should you do? Until the remedy becomes available, we recommend that you do not operate the vehicle with an occupant in the front passenger seat.So their solution is to not have us drive with anyone in the passenger seat until some unknown time in the future (1 month? 6 months? 1 year? 2 years?), when they finally contact us to fix the defect. This is unacceptable. How are families that need to use the passenger seat to carry everyone supposed to function with this solution? They need to come up with a short time fix until the longer term problem can be resolved, e.g., remove the deadly airbag in the near term and replace it at some point in the future. We have seat belts that can protect the passenger in the meantime and the seat belt will not kill someone unexpectedly. My impression is Lexus sent his note because they are more concerned about their legal liability if the defect occurs and less concerned about how thousands families with IS 250 or ES 350 are suppose operate day to day and never use the passenger seat until Lexus determine the best method for minimizing their costs to address this issue.
I am an owner of 2006 GX 470 with a dashboard full of cracks. I received notice in July of 2015 that the dashboard replacement will be covered under an extended warranty Lexus must have created because of the volume of complaints received by other owners. My directions were to contact the local dealer, Wilde Lexus of Sarasota, Florida and register my VIN number and name and the dashboard would be replaced sometime in the first quarter of 2016. Today, Sept. 26, 2016 I called Wilde Lexus to get another update and Im told I am 9th on the list. Funny, because my last inquiry, I was 6th on the list. The service rep. had no excuse for this. So I asked what I could expect and she had no idea. She said the last shipment of dashboards was in July 2016 and nothing since.I then called Lexus Corp and spoke with a customer rep who knew even less. In fact she said dealers are getting a couple of dashboards weekly and the manufacturer is not keeping up with demand. She has NOOOO estimate or timeline to share with me. I told her Wilde Lexus has not received a shipment for over 2 months and they have no idea when to expect another. This is very poor customer service on behalf of the Corporate Lexus. I dont have an issue with Wilde, in fact they are great with service and maintain a high customer satisfaction level, in this case its corporate whos letting down their customers. Im not sure I would buy another Lexus because of this... however Wilde has a Jaguar, Honda, Rover, and a few other brands that I would consider over Lexus.
I have been a Lexus owner for over 20 years. I have purchased x4 Lexus vehicles. One sedan and x3 GX460. I started hearing rumors that the service was not that great anymore and that calling the corporate office was a waste of time. I can attest that all of the above is true. My radiator burst while driving. This caused my engine to overheat and blow the head gasket. I did not know the engine had a problem because my emission system had the engine light on.I had an appointment to fix the recalled emissions on 10.13.19. My engine blew on 10.6.19. The engine was supposed to shut down when overheated. It did not. I did not know because the engine light was on from the emission system recall. I called Corporate for assistance. $10,000 repair minimum. They were COLD AND IMPERSONAL. Basically they told me it was my problem. They dont stand behind their brand anymore and I cant be loyal to a brand that is not loyal to me. NO MORE LEXUS FOR ME.
My 2006 IS 250s dashboard and door panels seem to be melting - they began to shed a couple of years ago and now look awful. Also, the check engine and Check VSC light are on. I took it to Lexus of North Miami where they changed a sensor for $ 500 - that did not fix the problem. Brought it back thinking there was a warranty in their work, and they told me I needed a whole new Catalyst System, a $ 2,000.00 job. Took it down to a friends shop and he told me that they should have known that was the problem to begin with. First degree fraud is what I call that. Cant trust these Lexus dealers. One says one thing, the other says another thing, and in the end, the customer gets punished. I wont be buying a Lexus ever again (Pity because the car looks nice).
I own a Lexus 330, my next car will be a larger Lexus. This is the most comfortable and easiest to drive and operate. I went over 5000 miles in 3 weeks, it was great.
I purchased an alleged 2016 lexus gs-350 from lexus of riverside on 4/29/2016. I reported a navigation defect to them in less than two weeks. They did nothing for 6 1/2 weeks and finally sent a dealership car and service tech. We drove both my car and dealership car. In go home mode it took us in a round-about manner to a dead end road in a different zip code. Both my car and dealership car failed and went to dead end road but I took my garmin gps in dealer car and it worked perfectly. The dealership refused to do anything and referred this problem to their lexus/toyota headquarters in Torrance, ca. The clerk at the headquarters said we would be put in a queue which would take 4 weeks.I spent hours researching, driving, photographing, documenting and sending over 30 emails to them but just got a letter giving me an assignment to send them documents they already had. I also called their 800# - useless. You get some clerk who only gives a first name and never gives you a case number. I have 1 week left for the 4-week queue, so will probably have to sue them since there is no available for this serious problem and they just delay hoping you go away.Next I photographed the navigation screen which shows that the navigation micro sd card is dated 8/1/2015 (gen 8) which according to their published literature is only for a 2015 gs-350. At this writing, the card will be 1 year old in 2 weeks and the service manager told me they usually come out around October for about $169. So either lexus sold me a 2015 and changed the date to 2016 or they are using old parts. I had leased 4 lexus ls series before - 1990, 1995, 1999 & 2004. The 2004 was terrible and constantly needed repairs. So I left lexus. But I read the glowing reports by consumer reports and tried the 2016 gs-350 due to its alleged safety features - big mistake.
UPDATE ON 11/17/2018: I wrote about our dashboard last year, and just wanted to provide a follow-up. Lexus still has not contacted us to replace our dashboard. That substance, which looks like an excessive amount of Armorall has worsened, and now gives off a hazardous reflection. Also, it now has an unpleasant smell. I was reading the reviews on Consumer Affairs today, and one of the complainants stated, they had the same issue and had their dashboard replaced this year. I called Lexus in Plano, TX, and was told the program to replace the dashboards is over, and it would cost us over $1300 to replace. So, is the program still going on in some areas, but not in others? When I told Lexus how the situation has gotten worse, I was told they understood, but there was nothing they could do. Their vehicle, they made a bad decision on the material used for the dashboards, and still, nothing they can do! I guess we will have to come out of pocket if we want to keep the vehicle. You just have certain expectations from a particular brand. Lexus has really let us down in this matter.ORIGINAL REVIEW: We purchased a used ES350 series in August 2017. In September, we noticed a sticky substance forming on the drivers side of the dashboard and then it spread to the passengers side. I later read that its being called melting dashboard, due to heat, and this is an issue with the ES350. I called Lexus Park Place and was told to bring the vehicle in. The service guy told me, Lexus had a program that was correcting this problem, but for my vehicle, based on VIN #, it was no longer available; for my vehicle, the program expired January 2017. The manager there, advised me to call Lexus Customer Service, which I did. I gave the first person, Andre, all the information, and was told a case manager would call me in 2 business days. When I didnt hear from them by the 4th day, I called and was told none of the information given to Andre was in the system and I had to provide the information again. The case manager, Joy, did call me and I was told there was no recourse. She asked me why did I buy it with the stickiness there? I told her, per the notes given, the damage occurred about a month after purchase. Why would I buy a vehicle with obvious damage!!! She said the previous owner was contacted, but since he didnt bring it in, there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to her manager and was given the name Jennifer. I called Jennifer on 3 separate days, and each time was told she was not available and I was on her schedule to call that day. I have yet to speak to Jennifer.I phoned today and was told the same thing. I told the rep, no reflection on him, but I know she is not going to call because I had been given that line for the last couple of days. Total avoidance. I am very surprised of the way that Lexus is handling this issue. They called the previous owner because there was this melting dashboard issue and they wanted to correct it. Again, this is a used vehicle, I dont know initial location that it came from, but damage didnt appear with the original owner. Im in Texas and the damage has definitely appeared. It was in the plan to replace with original owner and we feel they should still do so. We are very disappointed with Lexus!
Lexus LS 460. Bad quality. Spent almost $80k for a car that after 4 yrs, the upgraded Mark Levinson amplifier went dead. Price for new amp is $3000. This is ridiculous and poor craftsmanship. Bad product by Mark Levinson and bad service by Lexus not doing anything about it. Have been loyal to Toyota and Lexus for over 35 years but no more buying Lexus again. Thought I bought their flagship car and have great parts and service but neither was true.
My first experience with Lexus dealerships here in WI put a sour taste in my face. In 2011 (I have an 05 rx 330) I took my vehicle in for the brake recall. Of course they said my brakes were fine but sent me home with an estimate for 5,000 in repairs needed. I was in tears but the car ran fine. Later found out none of it was true. My front headlamps have seized from moisture inside and they are so cloudy and dull I am afraid to drive at night. Lexus did NOT HONOR THE HEADLAMP WARRANTY. Later I went for an estimate for a clock spring repair, I was charged 180.00 for diagnoses of what I had already had diagnosed. No support from Corporate Office. Never again.
I bought a new 2013 Lexus ES350 last year, and was very excited. It was my first luxury car indulgence. Im 63 years old, and recently retired. Mechanically, the car ran and drove great. But, the lack of common sense creature comforts in the front cabin became such an irritation that I ended up trading it in - even though I took a depreciation hit of over $15K. Here are the specifics:1) It is very difficult to exit the car. The low ground clearance was difficult for me, especially since I have some hip issues. The other factor is that the door does not have an intermediate stop position. So, when you open it, it will tend to start closing on you. Many times I had to kick the door to keep it open, just so I could get out. You learn to do this after it shuts on your leg, which is quite painful. This was an issue for the passengers as well. In addition to just being annoying, the bottom door panel became filthy from all of the foot prints.2) There is ZERO convenient storage in the front cabin. I do a lot of detail work in the car, and just need a flat surface to put stuff down. If you look at the console closely, you will see that there is no flat area at all to put anything. The main console storage area crowns in the middle, and is back too far to be useful as a surface. The navigation joystick occupies the right hand side of the console. The shift lever occupies the left hand side. The beverage holder at the front has a sloped cover. The drivers side beverage holder is typically open, because thats the only place you can put your fob/phone/etc. There are no pockets or storage holes in the side of the center console. The end result is that a lot of stuff ends up dropping down between the console and the seat.3) If something does drop down between the console and the seat, there is no convenient way to retrieve it. The only way is to get out of the car, move the seat all the way forward (very slowly because it is a power seat), then open the rear door, get on your knees and reach under the seat from behind. Because of the power seat mechanism, you cant reach under from the front. Try this outside in 100+ degree heat, and it gets very old very fast. Especially when what you dropped is your key fob.4) This leads to my main complaint: The railings under the seats have not been machined, and have very sharp edges. After suffering my third very serious gash on my hand trying to retrieve what fell between the seat and the console, I just lost it. I traded it in not three days later.5) There is no place to put your phone - or even a sunglasses compartment above the rear view mirror. The only place to put stuff is in the drivers beverage compartment. Its like they went out of their way to remove any convenient storage and/or work area.I know to many, these complaints will seem petty. I guess if you drive a luxury car you shouldnt be concerned with these types of issues. But, after a year of putting up with kicking the door open, dropping stuff between the seat and the console, and getting blood all over my shirt and pants, I just couldnt take it anymore.
The brand offers from small hybrid to larger, mid-size SUV. I have found that I like a variety of cars from this brand, including the hybrid SUV. I like that it has a sleek, rounded appearance. I do not care for boxy style hybrids. The interior is sleek and there is ample room to seat five. There is also a generous truck with plenty of cargo space. People are normally surprised that it offers as much room as it does in the inside. It is an efficient car. The controls and navigation device is good. Television options are there, however I am happy with my initial purchase and do not need anything additional to the model of my car.
No customer service at all. I would like to express my disappointment about the recent experience I had at Lexus of Rockville on December 21, 2016. Initially, the Service Manager, Andy and Supervisor, Jose were courteous & respectful. They provided me with a loaner vehicle while waiting for my insurance rep to come and look at my car. This took about five days. The dealership completed a diagnostic on my car as well. After approximately a week and half I received a call from the service Supervisor (Jose) and he instructed me to return the loaner back, which I did, that same day. Upon returning the loaner, I was notified by the Service Manager (Andy) that he and his staff were instructed by Peter ** (GM) not to service my car. When I asked why, they could not provide me a reason, refused to provide service to my car, treated me with extreme disrespect and escorted me off the property like a criminal. I did nothing to merit this type of treatment.Throughout the incident I remained calm and courteous despite their mistreatment I received. My vehicle has been serviced at this location many times in the past without any issues. As an ** man, the interaction was humiliating beyond words and not worthy of the Lexus (YES WE CAN) brand. In this day and age where respect for individuals and cultures has become lost, I expected more from Lexus. This unsatisfactory Customer Service experience was further exacerbated by the lack of service I received after reporting the incident. When reaching out to your corporate office, I was assured by the front desk person at that time someone would get back to me on this matter and discuss the issue, I have yet to receive the simple courtesy of a call or email from Sonic Automotive. I hoped to hear from Sonic Automotive or Lexus Corporation soon to bring a resolution to this extremely disheartening situation.
This is my 2nd Lexus: my first one, ES 330 was a great car from mechanical to cosmetics! This 2nd, ES 350 is the poorest quality you can get! I was told by a service manager in N Miami, that the reason the interior materials (dash board, seats cover, cosmetically wood design, that all are falling apart), are made to disintegrate after a while! No kidding!!!? They actually do, I cannot even clean the interior because the board is jelly like, the seats covers are all broken after 2-3 years and the color will come off when you clean them, the wood design is flying up peeling as well everywhere, at 72 000 miles I had to replace the front direction and before, the steering wheel fell! And you would believe that for over $42000, you will buy a nice quality car! No, not anymore! I was back in forth with Lexus via emails, I went to the dealer to show what is happening to the car, they said that I have to pay if I don’t like the way it looks! I called to have at least the dash board replace since is melting, but two customer service from Lexus Corporate said that the offer expired on March 31 this year and they won’t extend it, although they never told me about it when I went to the dealer or on our exchanged emails! Think twice if you planning to get a Lexus at this time: it is not the same quality or customer service as they started! A shame!
Purchased a NEW GX460 from a local dealership. Purchased the vehicle based on the companys perceived quality and willingness to stand behind their product. After 2-3 months of purchasing the truck the leather seats were bulging and buckling significantly. Dealership acknowledged the problem and replaced the leather on the rear seats. One month later, the front seats are now worse than the back seats. Both the dealership and Lexus Company will not stand behind product. In fact, the dealership suggested that this is a common issue and sent me pictures of other new trucks with the same problem. Wish I would have known that before purchasing the $50K+ vehicle. This is the third and last Lexus that I will ever purchase or recommend.
Lexus has denied warranty coverage on our car without any reasonable explanation, and ignored our request to provide reasonable explanations. In November 2013, we purchased a certified pre-owned Lexus that came with a 3-year warranty. At the time of purchase, the front bumper was slightly misaligned, with a small gap between the main body and the bumper on the driver side. Over time, the front bumper kept getting loose, making the gap very wide. Also, a gap started appearing on the driver side of the rear bumper. After ignoring several e-mails and phone calls of ours, Lexus requested us to have the car inspected by the service manager of the dealership where we purchased the car. At the time of inspection (August 13), the service manager looked puzzled and said that he would send the pictures and the description of needed repairs to Lexus. On August 19, the service manager informed us by phone that Lexus denied the warranty coverage because the problems were determined to be due to external causes. This argument, however, has no foundation because there is no trace of an impact on either bumper. On the same day, we sent the case manager at Lexus an e-mail requesting her to answer the following three questions in writing: (1) There is no trace of an impact. (I dont think the service manager found any trace of an impact. Let me know if he said otherwise.) What kind of external cause would make the bumper seriously misaligned without leaving a dent or scratch? (2) I understand that nobody can rule out the possibility of a minor contact on the bumper, such as a contact by another car at a speed of 2 MPH while the vehicle is parked. However, bumpers are supposed to withstand moderate impacts, not to mention minor impacts. If the bumper got seriously misaligned by a minor impact leaving no dent or scratch, shouldnt the manufacturer be responsible for it? (3) How can you rule out the possibilities of defective factory assembly or defective repair/replacement by the previous owner?By phone, the case manager told us that she could only send us a generic denial letter. The letter sent through e-mail simply says, it has been determined that the repair needed to the bumper is due to an outside influence. If they were allowed to deny warranty coverage without any reasonable explanation, they would not have to honor any warranty coverage. We are pursuing this matter through various channels, and we will update this as we get results.
I bought my 2006 GS300 1/07 with 7,000 miles. I had all maintenance performed at the dealership since ownership. Absolutely nothing performed elsewhere, whether oil/filter, tires, brakes, etc. All periodic maintenance was religiously performed. My car would rough idle occasionally, and it began eating oil several years ago. Numerous oil consumption checks, and many, many trips to the dealership. My check engine vsc light came on 1/5/15, something that had occurred previously on multiple occasions, and I immediately took it to the dealership. Was told I NOW need the engine misfire repair, which to my understanding includes replacement of the pistons. Lexus Satisfaction has to get involved after the request for the repair from the dealership was denied by Lexus because the car is now 9 years old (which coincidentally just occurred). The engine misfire repair will be performed as long as the car is less than 9 years old. I then battled with Lexus Dissatisfaction and was ultimately informed they would not compromise on their decision. It is truly a very disappointing decision. Nothing more than typical corporate games. I will NEVER purchase another Lexus.
I purchased a Lexus GX 470. Bought the SUV off a lease. Not even after a yr one of my running boards cracked in a bended area at a stress point. Went to Lexus. They said we cant help you. We dont know why it happened. Then my dash cracked. There was a recall on that so they did replace but a couple of years before that my rims started bubbling. I was told at the Lexus dealer that my style vehicle that all the rims are doing that. They had a few on their lot for service. They went and looked at their rims and they were bubbling also.I do know why and Lexus corporate wont stand behind these defects. I dont know about you. If you spend that kind of money for a car you consider top of the line, well I feel that they are the bottom of the line. I have been a business owner in Farragut, Tenn over 23 yrs and I will make sure ALL my client know how they stand up for their product which they dont. So customer BEWARE ONCE ITS YOURS. LEXUS WONT HELP WITH THIS THAT GO WRONG WITH A CAR that should have happened. Poor craftsmanship. I have had 3 Nissan Pathfinders. 2 of them have had over 250000, never a running board problem or cracked dash and NO BUBBLING RIMS.
Lexus offers luxury, stability and performance. They have over 3 different versions of each model to choose from and theyre all quality. The distinct appearance and standard features of this car brand include its body shape, how it handles on the road, and the amazing quality of the interior let you know you bought a luxury vehicle. The various upgrade and personalization options include very, very expensive parts. Buying upgrades for these brands put you out of pocket quite a bit of money so its best to just buy the one youre comfortable with and not upgrade parts. This brands passenger capacity is that its the same as every other car brand. If its a four seater, its a four seater. Maybe you can fit one more uncomfortably. But its the same. No special space for more.
I am not employed by Lexus or trying to help them in any way. I am a business owner that has been in the market for a luxury car. I love this website and feel it has prevented me from making a huge financial mistake! I have always wanted an Audi and was close to purchasing their flagship A8. After reading the nightmares of Audi ownership, I started investigating Mercedes and BMW on Consumer Affairs. To make this short, the complaints on Lexus (other than an apparent common problem with their dash cracking) are NOTHING compared to the three German manufacturers! Im seeing complaints on Lexus for using a quart of oil at 120k miles? Transmission complains at 60k? Just saying, read the problems other luxury owners are having, you will feel much better! I still dont know what I will end up dropping $70-$90k on, Lexus seems kind of boring to me, but based on the complaints I am reading about them, I feel it would be a much more reliable option than most..
I purchased my 2919 RX450H in December of 2019 off the showroom floor with 250 miles. The first year of having my car, my car shut down on me two times. Both times I was on my way to a patients home. While in route to my clients home I started receiving Hybrid System Malfunction warnings, Pre-Collision Malfunction and Check Engine, immediately after that I received a warning to pull over to a safe place immediately and within .03 miles it automatically shut off without me being able to pull over to a safe place. By the second time, I went into the dealership and I spoke to the GM at the Lexus dealership in Orland about the car being very unsafe for me to drive because I never know when it’s going to just shut down on me and that I would like for Lexus to give me another car exactly like mine. I informed him the only reason I chose Lexus over the other high end cars was due to its safety history. He informed me that the dealership aren’t able to mark my car as a lemon write off only Lexus corporation have the legal right to do that. I contacted Lexus corporation. Filled out all the required paperwork along with the service that had been performed on my vehicle due to my shutting off while driving. I later received a letter stating they reviewed my case. Could not mark my car as a lemon. I’m here to say that my car just shut down on me again for the 3rd time for the exact same reason with only 20k miles on it!! I spoke to the GM at the Lexus dealership in Orland again informing him how upset I am and this is unacceptable and how I can’t believe Lexus isn’t standing behind their brand considering how they brag as being ranked as one of the safest cars on the road! Lexus doesn’t stand by their name and don’t care about their customers safety!! I do not recommend Lexus to anyone if this is how they stand behind their brand!!! I feel like Lexus IS saying “you’re on your own and deal with it”!
I am currently leasing a car from Lexus, and I am moving from one state to another. I tried to contact Lexus customer service for the instructions I should follow to complete the registration. Based on their misleading instructions, I have been to the DMV 3 times, wasted three days, and so far, I got nothing done. The customer service gave me different instructions every time and was always 100% sure about the incorrect instructions they gave me. They also insisted that the DMV told me the wrong instructions, but it is the DMV that will get the title registered. I called them the 4th time today, and they finally got some instructions kind of consistent with the DMV. But they kept telling me to provide them some documents via Fax and no emails... I have to say, this car will be my last Lexus.
My conclusion in short: When buying new, do not intend to keep it after warranty expiration. And never buy used. Here is a long explanation. Very expensive parts. Price fells fast. Reason - expensive parts and low demand as many know these are expensive to maintain. 7 small plastic clips fell off from bottom plastic panels. Cost for one clip $10 bucks. Should cost several cents but no more than $1. They are Lexus unique size. Lucky I found aftermarket $1.50 for 10 abroad. Next, Lexus USA does not stand behind its cars. Exhaust rusted out and made the hole right at the place where it makes a turn at 65k miles (?) one week after extended warranty. At this place band was not an option. Cost to replace $2300, $1800 for part itself. Why? Because exhaust and converters are one complete unit. Called LEXUS USA. Response: Our decision is not to cover even though only one week past warranty. Also our records indicate that you later started to replace oil at other places. What oil has to do with bad exhaust? It is our decision. I had many cars over the years including Toyotas and replaced exhaust on many of them. Some at 150k miles and above. Parts were expensive, but not that expensive. In another instance headlight was damaged. Part cost $2000. It has 2 motors in it to adjust in horizontal and vertical plane, but still it is ridiculous price. I am technical and very handy. Always serviced cars myself. My conclusion is that they are reliable, but complicated cars. Chances to fail are greater in this setup. Therefore in my opinion for long term ownership quality and performance is not enough anymore to justify cost of long ownership or Lexus policies. Lease - maybe, but then return and lets Lexus eat them all.
I have been waiting 2 1/2 years for the warranty Dashboard replacement on my 2005 Lexus 330. I was notified by a letter to go down and add my name to a list. I call every few months and get an update. This is a joke. If they cant get the product to do this they should not have sent out a letter saying they would replace. The Dashboard is cracking more and more and I would like to sell the car but it decreases the resale value. I feel this was not a legitimate offer from Lexus since they cant seem to provide the service.
Oil Sludge in RX300 2001. Currently just getting estimates of up to $5000 to repair the problem. When I call up dealers no one knows about this problem, but I see there have been settlements regarding this situation. It mentions Toyota has received 3400 complaints about this problem.
I am quite satisfied with the variety of models as well as the choice of colors offered. The features offered were top of the line. There were tech advanced and we were happy with what was offered. Given the need and or opportunity we would return to the same place in the future and see about buying an auto from the same place once again. We were also quite happy with the upgrade and personalized options that were offered. We like to get the maximum upgrades that are available because we like our car to reflect our personality and shed a light on our unique and affluent lifestyle. Also, we are happy with the passenger capacity. We are a family of four and it accommodates us very nicely. There is also adequate room to accommodate two other passengers, although, we rarely need the additional space.
I purchased a 2007 470LX in excellent condition. When it was delivered, the rear view mirror was hanging down and the car smelled as if it had been in a flood (car supposedly one-car, Lexus certified pre-owned). The seat belts are water-stained. There is rust on the chrome or metal of the seat belts.Upon delivery, I expressed my dissatisfaction and concern about it being water damaged, but got no satisfactory explanation. I might add that I paid a premium because it was a limited edition with only 32,000 miles. The dealership is not accepting or acknowledging that anything is not as advertised or described to me. My dealership in Dallas (Sewell) had been great, and I have already paid $250 additional to try to get the smell out of the car. Do I have any legal rights, or how can I make Scanlon Lexus respond?
When you mention the name Lexus you typically think quality. After all, this is not an inexpensive car! Well, the dashboards in several of their models crack (sometimes, all the way across). Their answers: your car has been left out in the sun too often for too long. Well, I would imagine that most people who own Lexus typically keep them garaged. So, why is it that other brand cars (years old, and left out in the sun) do not crack?? The other issue on some of the newer and more expensive models is that the panels (which are made of a synthetic, plastic-like material) get very sticky to the touch. Lexus answer: they were not made for our hot and humid weather that we have here in the South. Youd think they dont have engineers that test their products?? Or, do they just sell their product in cooler climates?
I wanted a car with all leather seats and the Lexus salesperson and the Lexus V Spec sheet and the Lexus window sticker all said that it had leather seats. This was in error as the seats are trimmed leather with leather only on a smaller part of the seats. I didnt notice this until 2 days later and I immediately contacted the dealer. They didnt offer a solution and so I went to Lexus USA. The Window Sticker/Monroney sticker is a Federally mandated contract for what is on the car, therefore the data was wrong on this and after 3 weeks, after they tried to tell me it was all leather only to succumb later that it isnt, told me that they will not buy back the car and closed the case. This is my first experience with Lexus and I am very disappointed in them. They know that they made an error on my window sticker and sold me something other than what they told me I was getting so I am very disappointed in the lack of integrity with this company.
The Lexus RX is the most luxurious car Ive ever driven. Im always complimented about it and the interior is just stunning. And for 40,000 dollars it was definitely a steal and completely worth it. Driving it is smooth and the ride is quiet. The acceleration in 5 seconds took me by surprise. The Lexus RXs can typically hold 6 people. It would be suitable for a small family. If you have a bigger family, Lexus can still hook you up with the GS and the LX etc. I got it in a nice silver color and I always get the urge to wash it (to preserve its beauty). The seats are in great shape, and I find it so amazing that minimal additions and changes could transform it that great. You can customize the interior, exterior and wheels. Its like picking the toppings to add on your perfectly nice fro-yo - its not necessary, but its better - and then you eat it (drive it) and feel content afterwards.
Mr. David **, of Bell Lexus Service, Phoenix, AZ told me that this has been a known problem. I think this is a defective material issue that should have been disclosed before I purchased the Lexus, as I would not have purchased a car that I use for business that absorbed fabric dye from dark pants, skirts, etc. I expected better quality; especially from Lexus! My local detail shop cannot get the dye stains out of the sides of the seats and door panel. Bell Lexus did get it out and they put a sealer on the seats and door and within two days the stains were back. David told me that I could bring the car back for seat cleaning but not every week. David also suggested that I not wear expensive jeans or other dark fabrics in the car? Do I tell my clients the same thing? What if I purchased a leather sofa and this happened? Shouldnt the same principles apply? As a Real Estate professional, I use my Lexus in my business to transport clients. Appearance is an important part of my job. A stained interior will very likely cost me lost sales, lost listings, and fewer referrals. My car is a business investment. Even the non-professional Lexus owner would not like this happening to their supposedly high quality car.Since David was acting as an agent for the Lexus admits the problem; I want this issue addressed and corrected. It is obviously, an undisclosed defect, in that it is inferior quality material, especially with a tan interior. For certain, the sides of the seats and door panels are made from defective materials. Please correct this problem as soon as possible, for I do not want to suffer any further losses.
I bought a new brand Lexus IS 350 one month ago. Now with only 600 miles driven, the car brake pads are not working. Lexus warranty also does not cover brake pads because they know that their brake pads quality is more than **. If I have to change its brake pads in every 600 miles then I have to change my brake pads 100 times until mileage of 6000 miles. Every time I will spend $300 to buy new pads so only pads will cost me $30,000. United States should consider businessing with Japan who sell Chinese products.
Purchased the pre-certified SUV (2013 Lexus GX 460) with 22k miles. The following week I noticed the front left bumper was detaching from the body. Brought it back to the dealer who sent it to auto body shop to have it repaired. He installed new pins. The following month noticed the same bumper plus the rear right bumper panel was falling off. Brought it back again, this time they placed a bracket into the panel. Approximately 6 months later, the same issue occurred so I kept pushing the panel back in. In June 2018 I noticed the rear and front bumper panels were worse than ever. Just returned from the dealer and was told at this point there is nothing they can do since this a manufacturing defect that is common with Lexus as well as Toyota vehicles. The only way it may solve the problem permanently is to replace both bumpers!! Owned a couple of Lexus SUVs in the past and never had this issue until I purchased this model. NEVER BUYING A LEXUS/TOYOTA AGAIN!!!!
First off, I LOVE my 2006 RX 330! I have no complaints about the performance of my car. I have been having issues with the paint. Several years ago, I had the paint redone on one of my outside mirrors. Now the clear coat is coming off of both mirrors and all of the handles. Its also beginning to peel from the hood of the car. I have also noticed rust under a couple of the handles. Being that my car is only 8 years old, I feel that there was a faulty paint job from the Lexus company and I would hope that you would offer to pay for this atypical issue.
I recently purchased a 2010 RX350 (my fourth Lexus after owning a RX300, RX330, SC430). This has an extremely noisy engine upon start up and for the first 5-8 miles of cold operation. The noise has been identified by several online experts as such things as injectors, timing gears or chain but I believe and just recently confirmed with a Master Lexus Technician that its a poor piston design with their 3.5 L engines. The noise is a scuffed piston noise (indicating too much piston to cylinder wall clearance) and I also believe the piston skirt is too short allowing the piston to rock in the cylinder when it is started cold. I find that the Lexus store explanation that they all do it is not acceptable. I have a GM Duramax diesel that is quieter upon start up than this 2010 RX 350. I am guessing that at some point, the engine will begin to use oil and get louder. I am not sure what I will do as I may sell or trade of the RX350 because it is just unacceptable for this luxury car to sound so disgusting. I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone until a proper repair is completed. Probably should see about a class action suit against this engine.
I own a 2012 Lexus CT 200h. Absolutely love my car. 2 1/2 weeks I was in a car accident that was not my fault. My car went to Lexus of the quad cities to get an estimate. While in for getting the door fixed rust was noticed on both of the front door seams. We questioned it and had to get in contact with Lexus. My husband talked to Shawn directly at Lexus. They sent someone out to look at my car. Since my car has rust on the seams they will not cover it, as it is not rusted through. Lexus warranty says corrosion or perforation for 6 years unlimited miles. Since the door was already being painted it would not cost anymore to fix the seam under the door. Shawn told my husband nothing he could do about it and no one else he could speak to. I dont know about you but who wants to spend $40,000 on car that is only 4 years old and its rusted. I guess I thought buying a Lexus was not buying a Ford Focus, even though I owned a Ford Focus 10 years ago and it never rusted. Customer service not good, neither is warranty.
I have had the wheels balanced several times, changed tires twice and had front and rear suspension checked several times. I talked with 3 Lexus dealerships, tried to file a complaint with Lexus of North America with no resolution of vibration problem. If you go on the internet and put in steering vibration on G2 Lexus GS300, hundreds of Lexus GS, LS and ES from 1998 t0 2005 are experiencing the same vibration problem. Help!!!
We leased a brand new Lexus LS460 and when the lease term had ended, we had a lot of credit balance left over and finally we just decided to purchase the vehicle since we hadnt driven it that much. We noticed that our Lexus LS460 also has a chrome rim and because of it, its losing air for unknown reasons. We replaced the tires several times and finally found out that the chrome rim has tendencies to lose air due to it being chip or being rotten with time especially from Texas heat. We went numerous time to the dealer but never got a proper answer. We were not sure if there was a nail or if it was because of the chrome wheel that caused the tire pressure to be that low. The service and parts are so expensive that it will be too difficult to maintain it. Secondly, we never received any kind of recall notices from the company although we lived same place for years.
Bought a 2015 GS 350 car. Was over 50k and not fully loaded. The bad interior colors are all black unless you get a white exterior or black exterior. Then you get the option of only a few interior lighter colors then deep black. Second Lexus engineers destroyed the navigation system by taking away touch screen and installing a mouse to click 1 letter or number at a time, 10x slower than the old touch screen. Also their talk in navigation does not work half the time because its affected by AC or radio noise. Its real garbage, a $150 tom tom is faster and better. They did this to save money. It will be gone next year or so. Also the geniuses at Lexus actually have a knob that pipes in engine noise into the cabin like its a high powered corvette, ridiculous. Now for the ride. Its rough because their 18 rims and little tire contacting road so you feel every little mild bump. Also the rims are dull cheap looking fake silver. Really ugly. The backup camera is fair but no front camera because they raised dashboard height to accommodate junk navigational. Now you cant see past mid hood creating blind spot of front distance of car to an object. Very little contrasting color on door panels or dash just a fake chrome colored clock. And the six stack CD player is gone now also with a basic 1 CD insert and a few speakers average sound. Then to turn on accessories like windows, wipers, radio etc. You have to go through a crazy touch button twice while foot on brake pedal. Yes you can get satellite radio for a fee plus to use through the junk navigational will take 5 minutes to move a mouse for station. Then they got Lexus Enform built in with your navigational where you can pull car over and play with mouse to make dinner reservation, concerts, etc. Its idiotic just read up on the reviews of Lexus Enform. Use your cell to call a place you want reservations. It is 20x faster. Also the car engine with the dual exhaust is noisy as hell. Your neighbor can hear the motor running 3 doors down. I have a 2002 Lexus so this is how I know where the mistakes are in the new car compared to the 2002 GS 300 model which is so much better designed than the new 2015 junk. Also premium gas only and lousy mileage. I would have looked at other cars but my wife loved the old Lexus so she thought the new one would have the same nice features and smooth ride. No way is this plastic car worth more than $38,000 not 53k.So what is better on the Lexus 2015 versus 2002? Nothing to be honest. Has a few more useless steering wheel gadgets, thats it. So what do I like about it? Just increased engine power for passing. If youre thinking about buying this model take it on the freeway and some side streets with a few bumps then youll pass. Car was new when we bought it but had 90 miles on it telling me about 15 people test drove it then passed. I bought it from the liars at Keyes Lexus and they have some real trashy middle eastern hustlers that worked there. It was 5 hours of lies before I regretfully bought from the low class staff. Heres how much profit they make on a 53k MSRP car about 8-9 thousand so now you know what price theyll sell it at.Also the liar sales manager hustled my wife into an added warranty for 2 extra years only for $2800. Huge rip off. After we bought warranty the sales people said all new Lexuss come with a 7 year engine & trans warranty and 4 yr. 50,000 on the other parts. Before you buy look at Acura, Cadillac, Honda, etc. Also dont buy it if it has a mouse for typing and no touch screen. Last thing the door handles are painted silver but made of PLASTIC. For $53,000 3 stars overall is correct rating. The end!!!
I purchased brand new RX 350 in April 2012. I thought its time for a new car and I deserved a nice car for working so hard. Ive driven my 02 Civic ever since and had no problems. I noticed my rear driver side mirror looked melted and side panel/spoiler(back wing) had rippled lines. Dealer Modesto and Lexus Corp both deny its under warranty due to possible low effiency windows reflections to my car. Which I baloney. So you are telling me the quality of your car is crap and cannot handle sun/heat? I went to Lexus in another city and the manager said he would replace it under warranty but due to Lexus Corp denying my case he could not order the parts for me. So how can Lexus Corp not help me when another dealership can? If anyone had any similar issues, please let me know/suggestions/opinions on this. Would greatly appreciated. I feel that this is brand new car and should not have any paint/body issues. So paying more doesnt always mean you get good quality or service.
Even 1 star is too much of a rating for this company. We were treated with full disrespect by some unprofessional sales persons in South County Lexus. The contract we signed for a leased vehicle was not clear/transparent for all the HIDDEN fees/charges. VERY POOR customer service even when we reached out to higher level executives to report all these issues. No-one in this company CARE or VALUE customers business and all they think about is HOW to GET your money! Thats all... This definitely was our very last Lexus product and we make sure to convince all of our clients, family and friends to take their business somewhere else where they respect and value customer. The fact that Lexus Executive Office and Lexus Financials could not do anything to resolve the issue we had is embarrassing. Now we know not to fall for a fake/inferior brand in automobile industry!
On January 18, I filed a complaint about my accident with 2007 Lexus 460 where none of the safety features in the car operated which exposed me and the passengers to serious danger and hospitalization. You definitely know that European cars are well equipped with operating safety features. Of course, I was disappointed with Lexus’s safety features failure. This may drive us to think which is safer, Lexus or Mercedes or other European cars. I do look forward to hearing from you favorably. Thank you.
I purchase new cars about every 3 yrs, This Lexus is the best value I have ever gotten for my money, I find no need to ever go back to any other manufacture, the quality, features, handling is by far better than any of my other experiences... I do not usually spend money on upgrades, but I like this car so much I just had ceramic coating applied last week. The technician had told me the Lexus has the thickest and best paint of most cars...It turned out amazing!
Lexus GS 300 1998 issues with turbine speed sensor and Solenoid C Electrical. How many of these type malfunctions happened with these models in the year 93-98 vehicles?
My Lexus RX350 is 5 years old and has been perfect. No reliability issues and unsettling surprises. Ride is rock solid, very comfortable, and restful after a very long drive.
Took my RX330 into Pohanka Lexus in Chantilly, VA for a state inspection on 9/14/13. My car was rejected due to the passenger side mirror. In order to not drive around with a rejection sticker, I inquired about how much the mirror itself would cost. John informed me that the mirror would be about $450 plus $65 for labor plus a replacement bulb was needed above the license plate giving me a grand total for a side mirror and inspection $600.44.A front mirror doesnt even cost that much. When I asked why was it so much, the reply was because its motorized. I had visited another Lexus dealership 3 months prior for tires and nothing about the side mirror was mentioned. I feel like I was taken advantage of and that Pohanka Lexus overcharged to replace only the mirror for my car to pass inspection.
We bought our 2000 Lexus RX300 brand new in Sept 2000. As Lexus was worried about the impending release of the Acura MDX, we got a few hundred dollars below-list price. Starting in 2009-2010 period, the windows began failing, i.e. the up/down switches no longer worked in the front windows. Then the door locks started failing. Now whenever I lock the car 1 of the 4 doors randomly does not lock and I must walk around the car manually locking all the doors. Note that this is WORSE than no door locks at all because unlocking the front door by key or by switch tends to unlock all the doors, meaning the car WASTES my time. We have had several incidences on a long trip where the window got stuck down and you have to drive home with the driver and/or passenger window open. Lexus wants $500/door to replace the $5 servo motor, because the doors are extremely poorly designed and literally take 4-5 hours to disassemble and reassemble each one!It was the final straw when the antenna motor failed and I had to remove 28+ nuts and bolts and disassemble the ENTIRE rear cargo area just to get the dang thing out! Lexus is so arrogant they think their $5 motors and $10 antennas never break, so the car is actually VERY POORLY put together and not easily maintainable. We never seek Lexus dealer service because they charge 2x what our local Asia car-mechanic costs, and they have junior techs! Beware!
Lexus ES330, 2004: I purchased one in 2005 with 13,XXX miles. From day one the slow shift has been a problem. The car constantly bucks when the gears change. I have taken it to service and theyve reset the computer many times. My biggest problem is the delay when accelerating; sometimes 3 to 5 seconds (if at higher speed and need to change lanes, etc. ) the delay has created near misses. I cannot get Lexus to admit this is a problem, or prove it. They say they re-designed the transmission (I think) in 2009. Meanwhile, Im stuck. I hate this car. There has been no change from Lexus service. They do not admit it is a problem.
Lexus has very premium and great interior with modern technology embedded with it. It has good engine system and reliable system with cut edge technology which is good for everyone. It also has nice sleek model with iron mesh and grand beautiful color with hand crafted Italian leather finish with good interior as well as exterior. Its easy to upgrade to any other premium line and its not much of the expensive or add upon any other features inside or out. Its big enough for as much as 6 people with huge capacity for people as well as the cargo and its useful for all the passengers in future also. So far, Ive never encountered any problems.
Great handling car. All the amenities you could ask for, super good visibility. Handles like a dream. The leather is like butter. Sun/moon roof. Sharp looking on the road and gets reasonable gas mileage for a vehicle of its type.
I have 2 Lexus cars, one 2007 ES 350 and one 2005 RX 330. As several Lexus customers are experiencing, I too have a leaking rack and pinion on my RX 330. With just 60,000 miles plus. I found this problem when the service adviser inform me about this problem. I was surprised that this so-called quality luxury car will give us some problems at a low mileage. I just have my oil change last month and quoted me about $1,800 to repair. What a quality car we have to just spend this much for a low mileage and my wife drives this one from home to work and vice versa. Lexus should do this repairs at no cost to the customers if they want to claim that their vehicles are built with a seal good quality and workmanship and recall this vehicles because there are so many Lexus owner out there who are having the same problem. This issue should be taken seriously before anything else and serious things happens. I will never recommend Lexus to my friends so they will not experience this kind of dilemma I am experiencing and maybe patronize so other vehicles.
Lexus cars are comfortable. I like the features and the easy accessibility of the car. The leather seats are easy to clean which makes my job a lot easier. The butt warmers are nice and help to keep us all warm during the winter months of the years. Our model specifically can only hold up to five people. However I believe that Lexus makes other models that can hold more people than that. This car suits my family well as there are five of us and we are all able to fit comfortably in the car. The car has a small built and our model is black and sleek. The paint has stayed nice and sharp throughout the course of many years and I believe that it will continue to do so over the next couple until we decide to go to either donate the car or purchase a new one. We are interested in a car with seats that are not leather as the smell bothers my family and the seats always seem to be super hot or cold.
Complained of rubber trim falling apart around windshield housing, service quoted 800.00 to fix normal in Texas, car 3 years old in Warranty and extended, not covered. Dash was getting sticky and soft, dealer stated normal in Texas. Told them my 1996 Ford F250 has never seen the inside of garage. Dash is excellent. Car has been very reliable, had several recalls (valve springs etc). Alternator and fuse block both broke as the car was out of warranty 3 weeks 1600.00 to repair, tough luck.
I loved my Lexus. They have many different models for many types of people. I needed one to fit my family, and it works well for us. The Lexus was easy to clean. It was very sleek and even though it was older, it still managed to always have a new appearance. The passenger capacity fit all five of my family members. My children were not squished and sat very comfortably even with their car seats and booster seats. Very luxurious car. I have had many people compliment my car. I have not upgraded yet, but I am now looking to buy a new Lexus with new features. I will find out more features from the dealership. I cant wait for the new technologies they have put into such a great car. We are now selling this model, but we will be looking for another Lexus.
