I own a 2006 Dodge Ram 5.9l, I bought it new. 2yrs ago the truck wouldnt start. Took it to the dealer and was told the fuel was contaminated and the entire fuel system needed to be replaced. It wasnt under warranty due to the reasoning and they filed against my insurance for the $13,000.00 of repairs. Now 2 more years have gone by since then and we now have the same issue, again. This time $13,000.00 out of my pocket. After looking into it and researching...Bosch told Dodge the injectors and CP3 injection pump cannot handle trash in the fuel and that dodge needed to update their filter to a lower micron (2 micron filter), which they didnt and the consumers are out thousands of dollars. Im quite surprise there isnt a class action suit for this one yet.

Built Ram Tough! Thats a joke. Dont take that Dodge Ram Laramie anywhere off the main highway. 20,000 miles on my 2016 Ram Laramie. I followed the GPS system off the highway on to a road, this road had water cover. This water only became worse so I turned around. Now mind you the water wasnt that deep. But through diagnoses it was somehow determined that it was my fault that water went in to the air intake filter, and then the motor. This ceasing up the motor. Warranty refused to cover this. Insurance claim it was. Do you think Ram would at some point stand behind their product? Ohh... No. I asked at very least they cover the $250.00 deductible. That wasnt going to happen. Customer service actually hung up on me when I asked for a supervisor!! Worst product ever!! Worst customer service ever!! Chrysler will never get another penny of my hard earned money. Lifelong customer gone!!

I own a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually truck, and it has 64,900 miles on it. I took it to an authorized factory warranty service center for mopar. They have told me that I need either a rebuild or new transmission. I opted to get the new transmission from Chrysler/Mopar. I sent an email to Chrysler.com. I explained that I have less that 65,000 miles on the truck and that I had to pay $4,000. I received a call from Sabrina; she said that my truck was still under warranty, and she would investigate.Chrysler will not pay for my transmission since I did not go to an authorized Chrysler service center, and they did not do the work. I explained that the transmission alone is under warranty, and it is a Mopar part. The service center I took it to is an authorized factory warranty service center for Mopar. Sabrina said that since Chryler did not do the diagnostic or service on it, they cant reimburse me. I have explained that I am asking for a reimbursement for the transmission and not for the labor, installation or diagnostic.

2016 Truck, lasted 990 miles and transmission failed. Rebuild, now sluggish and dangerously slow to move off the line. Smells of burning every time it is driven. Told by Dodge Techs this is normal for the truck. Terrible quality, terrible after care. Service Manager said We are not going to pay for a new transmission, this is good enough. I bought new a 2008 2500 Dodge Ram work truck with the 6.7L Cummins engine. I pamper this truck. it is almost shameful how lightly I use this machine, but sometimes I need to tow small work trailers while the truck is loaded over short distances. It is a manual shift 6 speed. I now have 45,000 easy miles on it. I am now 1,000 miles into the second clutch on the truck, and (thanks to Crown Dodge in Ventura Ca. and some worn-out ball joints) I am $6,400 poorer! I was told then that 35,000 is all you can expect out of a Dodge clutch. The truck also only gets 12.3 MPG empty on the freeway! Why has this expensive work truck worn out so quickly after so light a work load and low miles? Why do my friends with similar trucks get 20 MPG? I guess I need to try and trade in this truck and buy something that will hold up. I dont think it will be a Ram. Perhaps, the unions could fix my problems!? This is shameful.

We purchased our 2019 Dodge Ram Lone Star on Labor Day of 2018, from All-Star Dodge in Canyon, TX. We live on 3 miles of dirt road, out in the country! The cab of our NEW pickup fills up with dirt every time we go down it! So much it’s suffocating! I’ve taken our truck to All-Star and they took pictures and they sent them into Chrysler, but they said the doors looked completely sealed. Since then I’ve sent MORE pictures and a video to Salvador at All-Star and still nothing is being done!??? My advice, don’t buy one of these, if you’re going to be driving it on dirt roads!! That’s pretty much why we own/buy trucks, because we live on a dirt road!! We own Fords and have owned Chevys and NEVER have we had dirt filling the cab, of our other pickups anytime!! Oh and I’m VERY OCD, about keeping my vehicles clean, at all times and I CAN’T KEEP THIS ONE CLEAN, AT ALL ON THE INSIDE!! We’ve had this truck starting January 1, 2019 goin on 5 months, that being said! I’ve been inhaling all the dirt and continue to, all this time and have been sneezing, coughing and dealing with sinus infections, from this crap! I’m headed back to Amarillo today 12-29-18, so YES I’m going to All-Star Dodge AGAIN & gonna see about getting someone higher up the ladder or having Salvador call someone higher than him!! Sick of this crap!! Oh yes and the trucks under warranty and I’ve already heard that All-Star Dodge will not/do not stand behind their word of, “We will take care of our customers!” So DON’T SHOP THERE!!

I purchased new two 3500 Diesel. One 2004 the other 2007. They both have had major issues with the front end. The infamous Death Wobble on both trucks began occurring around 40K. The 2007 was my wifes until it started the wobble. The drag link in the 07 broke clean on two different occasions. The first time was the night of my first childs wedding night. Went to back the truck up so we could load gifts and heard a loud Bang. The drag link sheared at the threads. I purchased a new link from NAPA and paid for their most heavy duty, lifetime warranty. Took the truck to an alignment shop and had it aligned and inspected (Ball joints, u-joints, etc.). A month later while driving at 80 mph on the Interstate I crossed over a bridge with a slight bump and the truck began wobbling and then bang!!. Wobbling stopped but I knew what had happened and coasted to the emergency lane applying the emergency (rear) brakes. When the truck was almost at a stop I pressed on the front brakes and the truck skidded. I got out and the driver side wheel was 90 degrees pointing out. The irony is I was on my way to a local dealer for a recall on the front ball joint. I had the truck towed to the dealer. They inspected the Ball Joint, said it was fine and then gave me a 6 line item list on what was wrong and needed to be fixed. $5500.00 estimate. I told the service writer to leave the truck alone and I would have it towed to a service facility that I trust. I replaced the Drag Link again, took the pile of ** to have it aligned again. The alignment owner told me to replace the front stabilizer shock and use Monroe brand instead of the Super Heavy Duty rock-n roll brands. They had had the best luck with Monroe. For the next three years I could only drive safely at top speed of 60 mph if I wanted to avoid the Death Wobble and possibly break another link. I will not let anyone else drive the thing for their safety. I put a more heavy duty tracking bar and an aftermarket stabilizer bracket on it. Still could only go 60 mph and feel safe. A few months ago I replaced the front hub assemblies and U-Joints.By doing so the truck feels like it did when I purchased it new. Now I can go 80 mph plus and feel safe. Regarding the 04, the front stabilizer tie rod broke and the truck doesnt Death Wobble any longer. Im tempted to leave the thing broken. Once a Dodge... Always a Dodge. Ill never buy Dodge again. Most DANGEROUS vehicles Ive ever owned!!! Im thinking the new Nissan with Cummins and Allison Tranny looks Real Good.

I purchased my 2015 Dodge Ram Eco Diesel from a custom build on Dodge website. To date my truck has been in the service shop in excess of over a 100 days. In fact it had to be towed on Thursday due to another problem. Dodge or should I say Chrysler Canada has been zero help. Getting a case manager from Dodge is a complete waste of time. Do NOT buy a Dodge. I rely on my trucks for work as I am in construction - the most unreliable vehicle ever - the service departments are equally terrible especially Harris Dodge. Always multiple visits and they never seem to fix the problems. I am by no means exaggerating by anything other than a Dodge!!!

I was driving my 2013 Ram 2500 with under 10,000 miles and it shut down to what seemed like one cylinder running, with an awful knocking noise. Was towed to the dealer. Ended up having a broken valve spring, 2 bent pushrods, and 2 lifters had to be changed. Rather than change the engine, they said there was no internal engine damage and would fix it. With the noise it made Im shocked theres no other internal damage. They fixed it and sent me on my way.A month later I change the oil and it was full of metal flakes. I guess when they diagnose for internal damage they do not look at the oil. I cant understand that. I called about the issue and they said I should not be doing my own maintenance and theres no proof that there was any metal in the oil because I changed it. How else would I have found this out? They have no idea where the metal could have came from but theres enough to make golf ball sized ball. Told me I was covered by the engine warranty and they would do nothing further to the truck and still deny theres internal engine damage. So I will continue to drive it circulating metal. They didnt even want it back to flush it out.A month later the check engine light is on so I have the code read with a reader at Auto Zone. Theres something wrong with the oil pump. Instead of replacing the engine they are going to keep making me bring it back, an hour away, to keep repairing it until the warranty is over. This engine should have been replaced, not band-aided. My $46,000 truck has rebuilt engine, more internal damage that they will not acknowledge, and only has 11,000 miles on it. Chrysler does not stand by their products and has no interest in making it right. Just wanted to warn others about what happens with Chrysler products when theres an issue.

I purchased my Ram 3500 2014 from Scottsdale Airpark ram in Arizona. This dealership will not help me with any of the below issues. Chrysler, paid a tech to do a ride along, and the tech seen all the below issues, but the computer said the truck was fine. Well it is NOT fine. This is the biggest piece of ** on the road. Please read #15. Very important. 1) The exhaust break does NOT work. 2) There is no power from the turbo. I cant even tow my 10,000 lb toy hauler up a hill. On my way to Flagstaff a 1973 40 Winnebago passed me. WTF! 3) Passenger rear light out, still shows up on screen. Airpark ram cant fix this. 4) Passenger light on step is now out. It was working when I dropped it off on 12-3-14. 5) Steering wheel is still sloppy. There is too much play. This is the fifth time they tightened it. 6) There is masking tape residue on the passenger side, after the windshield was removed at Airpark, to install the new ceiling. 7) Still no stopping power from truck breaks when trailer is hooked up. 8) Replace ceiling. Bill has it ordered. Never installed after a month and a half. 9) Tires are bald. Bill has an email to Coy. Waiting on response. Response was Not our problem. 10) There still is loud eerie creaking noises coming from truck, when in off position. 11) The horn sometimes sounds weak. You can hardly hear it. 12) Still no power and lag when towing a trailer. 13) The truck auto starts on its own. 14) The truck will not let you in sometimes when using the remote.15) BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!! The truck will go into full acceleration when you are driving. It has almost KILLED me, and others when this happens.I would like to start a class action lawsuit. Please call if you have the same issues.

Bought the 2105 Ram Long Horn 2015 new 52,000.00. Had 4 recalls on it, not counting this last problem which I will describe. While the vehicle was under warranty the vehicle locked up in the rear up position. Could not change it. Dealer finally changed out the pump motor in December of 2017. This is October of 2018 and the vehicle is doing the same thing. When the new pump was put in I was told the parts and labor were covered for 2 years. What they failed to tell me was once the original warranty expired, that pump and the labor are no longer covered. So the new pump they put in 10 months ago is now going to cost me over 2,000.00 and the truck has 34,000 miles on it. Well, I am now going to buy a Chevy truck, and I pray my wifes 2018 Dodge Challenger holds up. Chrysler has stuck it to this customer for the last time!!! Do not buy a Dodge truck with that inferior air suspension. The 2019 Dodge Ram has a recall on the rear end before you leave the sales floor, so you are now warned about this junk manufacturer and their junk product!

Dealer saw the problem said they fixed it and if it comes back I would get a new truck. The problem was not fixed, there is excess moisture on the dash. Its covered in ice after parking it overnight in winter and they refuse to repair my defective truck or give me a new one. I am a dog trainer. I needed a good, dependable truck for my business. Lots of my friends have Dodge Rams (different versions) and one has over 400,000 miles on his Diesel. I pull horse trailers. I am on the road a lot and need good transport for dogs and me. So, after much research and recommendations of Dodge Ram, I decided to go that route. When I looked it up under consumer research articles, it was one of the highest recommended trucks on the road.Just last week (October, 2014), my dealership sent me a letter wanting to buy back my truck for a good sum. Stated this was the most popular model and they were in desperate need of them and had a waiting list of people. At that time, I had only $2,000.00 before paying off my Dodge Ram. I opted not to sell my truck to the dealership and trade up. I needed a vehicle that would last me at least 200,000 miles and keep me free of truck payments for at least 5 years. Then I would trade up, or not, depending on how well my truck was holding up. I have always done the proper maintenance on my truck when it was needed. Oil change, fluid changes and checks, tire rotations, new brakes, new tires and babied it, because hey, its a Dodge Ram and will last me at least 10 years or 200,000 miles. Needless to say, that was not to be. On a trip home from Illinois, just across the Indiana line, my truck blew the engine. When the mechanics checked my truck and took the head off, it showed every bit of 100,000 miles. After much discussion and more research, I was told that this particular model, 2008 dodge Ram 1500 had aluminum in the valves and should have had steel. No wonder it fell apart at 6,000 miles out of warranty. The story gets better. Because I lost compression in my truck, I lost almost all control of my brakes and steering. I was in Poseyville, Indiana at the time. It almost cost me a dog grooming parlor, but fortunately I was able to get the truck into the gravel parking lot and stopped. I have called around to see my options and presently I am at $5,000.00 to get a rebuilt engine and have it installed. My truck is at a friends in another state and it cost me $350.00 to have it towed to their house. Towing it back to Kentucky was financially out of the question. My full coverage insurance refunded me $80.00 of this. So, now I am out of a work vehicle and I have no vehicle to drive. That puts me in the position of making the rest of my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck payments (I owe a whomping $2000.00) and the cost of renting a car until I can save the money to have mine fixed. At that point I will have to sell it or whatever. But I still have to pay my house payment, utilities, office rent space for my business, etc.I am not whining, I am not feeling sorry for myself, so you haters and naysayers keep it to yourself. I am thoroughly pissed that I researched a truck, did my best to make the right choice for my business and now I am out a vehicle. Bottom line; This was not a used truck. It was a brand new, right off the show room floor vehicle, cared for and babied (yes, I can prove it... I have every oil change and filter, etc. ever put on it) because I tried to choose the right vehicle for me. It lasted less than 4 years, and has 106,000 miles on it... and I paid a very hefty price for this piece of junk that was touted as one of the best trucks on the market.Kentucky’s useless Lemon Laws: The Kentucky Lemon Law applies when, during the first year or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first), following delivery of a new vehicle: The dealer has attempted to repair the same problem four (4) or more times, or the vehicle has been out of service for repair at the dealership for a cumulative total of 30 days or more. To qualify for the Lemon Law, the problem must substantially impair the use, value, or safety of the automobile. Vehicles leased after July 15, 1998 are also covered. Kentucky Informal Dispute Resolution System or Arbitration: Kentucky requires manufacturers to provide new vehicle owners with a cost-free informal dispute resolution system. The decision is binding on the manufacturer but not the consumer. You qualify if the dispute happened in the first two (2) years or 25,000 miles (whichever comes first), and you are a Kentucky resident AND you purchased the vehicle in Kentucky.

Repeated failures with the ventilation system. Everyone I know who has a 2003 or newer Ram has had the same problems. Dodge knew the systems would fail but DID NOTHING to improve them. If you have the dealer fix the problems, it WILL happen again because they use the same cheap parts. Because it is so time consuming to fix the problem, labor will cost you at least $1,000. It doesnt matter if you have it fixed under warranty because the system will again and again as long as the same parts are used. I have spent over 30 hours removing the entire dash, including steering wheel, instrument panel, passenger airbag, glove box, climate control panel, radio, etc., etc. to fix the problem myself. The only permanent solution is to replace the crappy doors located inside the ventilation ducts. I cannot even begin to describe how difficult it is attempting to access these areas and if you dont have a modicum of mechanical aptitude, forget it. Dodge used these same cheap parts in a lot of vehicles, including Jeep Grand Cherokees. Absolute crap.

The 2005 Ram1500 was purchased new from Spitzer Dodge in Homestead, FL. I noticed when I was waxing it last month, the paint on the drivers door is starting to bubble from internal rust. I wrote and spoke to Dodge. They said they couldnt help me because it was outside the time warranty (5yrs) and referred me to the dealer. The dealer couldnt help me, even though the service manager (Mr. **) agreed it shouldnt be rusting and bubbling. It may be over the time warranty but it only has 58,000 original miles and not a mark on it. No body damage at all. Please warn people that Dodge has not remedied their paint problem from the past and they wont stand behind their product. I am stuck with a $700.00 estimate for a repair that is clearly a factory defect.

Just bought a new 14 RAM HEMI QC Lone Star nice, modern options, extremely comfortable, 8 speed, 8 inch radio display and 7 inch cluster display. Very nice.Bought a bigger RV (30 footer) pulls great, integrated trailer brake works excellent. Great truck, best I have ever owned. Why am I having such good luck? On 2/22/12, I took my 06 Dodge Ram 1500 to the Jeff Wyler Chrysler/Jeep Dealership at 100 Alexandria Pike, in Ft. Thomas, KY in response to not one but two recall announcements. After the dealership repaired the turn signal malfunction, I received a call telling me the lug nuts bloated and not easily coming off. I was then informed it would cost me $159.60 for new lug nuts and replacing. In view of the fact, I was there in response to a Chrysler recall to replace a hub bearing which required removing the wheels. It amazes me the dealer doesnt have a lug wrench to remove the original lug nuts. I discussed this with the service manager to see if this was an unusual occasion. The response was a yes. At that point, I began to suspect this is one of those dealer scam occurrences. I called the Chrysler Dodge Ram Case Management Group in Detroit. After playing telephone tag with a Leslee for week to finally get her to understand which Jeff Wyler dealership in KY and OH I had dealt with, she was very unsure of the next steps. I asked to speak to a manager. I talked to a man who was totally unfamiliar with the case and immediately took the corporate position that the lug nuts are out of warranty. I found that apprehensible. If Chrysler cant make a lug nut that lasts longer than one year, Im not surprised the American auto industry is in big trouble. A very discourteous woman got on the line and echoed the same thing. Just so you know, I currently own two Chrysler products. I also leased a Chrysler 300C about 4 years ago. In net, I have owned three Chrysler products in the past 4 years and was in fact looking at Jeep SUVs at that dealer for my wife. In conclusion, I am very angry about being ripped off by a dealer who doesnt own a usable lug wrench. Even more so, Im angry at a company like Chrysler that is so shortsighted you are willing to lose significant future business rather than correct what I believe is a very poor customer service decision. Unless I receive a full refund of $159.60, I will soon divest myself from the Dodge Stratus and the Ram 1500.

We purchased what was supposed to be a new 2014 Dodge Ram Laramie Longhorn Cummins motor crew cab dually. Well in all reality it was not. Had problems with the truck from day 3. Has a terrible lag, vibration, no power, will not hardly pull out of the driveway with a trailer on it. Dealer said, Thats not right. Bring it over. We took it over. They all do that we were told. Then why on the phone was I told there is something wrong. Come to find out the truck had apparently been bought and brought back. It had been worked on several times and was in service in Jan. when we purchased. In Aug. Dodge got involved and things have gone down since brake controller is out, cruise control is out, traction control is out, rear window leaks has a short in it somewhere, tires are wore completely out at 12,000 miles. ABS system works sometimes, exhaust brake works sometimes, uses oil about 1 quart per 1000 miles, fender flares falling off, running board falling apart, seat memory sometimes works, coolant light comes on, motor sounds like its going to blow, has a miss. Radio is going out map, light going out, not the bulb either, the map light itself. There are many more things going on. Dodge agreed to put us in another one but has to be of equal or less value so buyer beware. Do not buy a Dodge. We have talked to a lot of people that just give up and trade them off.

I own a 2014 Ram 3500 Cummins Turbo Diesel. I gave you my word it has 420.000 miles on it. Towed a 30.000 lb hot shot purchased brand new from Texas. Never stop running. Never put more than $700 for some maintenance. I was passing cars loaded at 85 mph! The Cummins engine are unbelievable strong and powerful. I am a truck driver. 48 years old. 1 million miles. Drove semis, Volvos, Freightliners. Def system complicates things specially in the winter, truck build a little flimsy but I was very lucky maybe. Cummins engine 385 hp. No words for it. Thanks Cummins Indiana! PS, obsessed with maintenance. This truck are for guys with some mechanical understanding. Love it!

I owned a 3500 diesel 2012 which the garage could not fix due to the O2 censors kept shooting up and putting the check engine light on. Dodge bought the truck out and we replaced it with a 2500 gas 2014 truck. This truck had a rear end whine in it. The garage we bought it from said it was like opening Pandoras box and did not want to fix it. This whine was between 50-60 mph. We then took it to another dealer and they heard the whine and opened the rear end but did not see anything wrong with it. The truck had 12,000 miles on it with original warranty and an extended warranty on it. The dealer charged $172.00 to have the whine worse 45-50 mph than when we brought it in to be fixed. Bottom line is go buy a FORD or Chevrolet not a Dodge Ram. Two strikes and youre out forever.

I have been a brand loyalist since 1986. This is my 6th RAM truck. We factory ordered a 2018 2500 HD 6.4 SLT with the options we wanted and needed for towing. Truck was delivered 12/2017. The day after delivery we noticed an abnormal start up noise from the engine compartment. With less than 100 miles we took it into a local dealer for inspection. After 7 inspection, demonstration and repair visits. 21 days in service and 8 months of driving with a monoxide sensor on the dash. FCA determined that the truck exhaust leak could not be fixed. They offered to replace the truck or refund our money. We elected to order an exact replacement truck. Frankly, other than the exhaust leak, this is the best RAM truck we have owned. All other functions, features, performance and comfort are 5 star. We received the replacement truck 1/2019. At 80-100 miles the replacement truck developed the same noise. FCA, Ramcares and our dealer found it hard to believe that one customer could receive 2 factory defects for exhaust leak. We have asked FCA and our dealer to repair the leak. We are not going to order another truck or take our money back. This truck is going to be fixed. At this time we have not received a response to our request for repair. We have done a full investigation of this issue/problem. It is a known problem on some 2500 HD 6.4 trucks. The cause is in part the assembly process and in part the design and parts quality. We have gotten some great intelligent help from MOPAR parts people, RAM techs and the internet. We have decided to order the repair parts and have a qualified outside tech repair the truck properly at our expense. We will address FCA-RAM when the repairs are completed. Dodge-RAM has come a long way in product quality and customer satisfaction over the last 30 years. I believe the companys recent decision to have the head of RAM focus only on the RAM Brand will result in correction of these type of quality problems. However, senior management needs to get out in the field and engage the reputational risk that the brand is experiencing. The vendor parts quality issues and assembly issues can be fixed.

2012 dodge Ram 3500 - I had problems with the rear end at 66,000 miles. Took to my dealer. They refused warranty due to water damage in the rear end. The truck was only about 9 months old (yes, I drive a lot). They wanted $5,500. I did it for $2,800. One month later, I checked the fluid. It had water in it again. I added 1 foot of hose to the axle vent and ran it over the frame and pointed it at the ground. No more problems the way Dodge had it, any water ran into the axle. BAD DESIGN.

We have taken our 2015 Ram 3500 Tradesman diesel numerous times to three different dealers to try and find the source of diesel exhaust coming into the cab through the air ducts especially when the heater is on because the air does not recycle. It makes our entire family sick. We are being poisoned by diesel exhaust. Ram claims that no one else has this problem which is obviously a lie. It sounds like Thaddeus of S. Atoms River, NJ has the same problem. We also drove the identical vehicle on the lot and it had the same smell. This is a serious health issue and Ram needs to address it immediately before someone who doesnt have the same sensitivity to smells dies of diesel exhaust poisoning. Look it up on the internet. It is serious. It can cause chest pains up to two days later. Immediate issues include headache, nausea, throat and eye irritation. Please call Dodge Ram and complain if you have a similar problem. Dont let your dealer blow you off. This is serious.

2008 Dodge Ram Crew cab 4x4 - I have owned Dodge trucks all my life and this is my 2nd 2009 truck which first one was LEMON LAWED for electrical issues. NOW my 2nd truck at 52,000 miles has been one sensor after another going out, electrical issue that continues to affect the automatic start system and other things, rear brakes completely gone which this is a truck that is not used for daily driving or work. Front brakes and calipers were replaced at 19,000 miles for problems sticking. This is the WORST EVER truck owned and is almost paid off where I may go back in debt for a new ANYTHING other than DODGE! UNRELIABLE vehicle and truly disappointed. ;(( TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE LEMON LAW if possible where they must replace vehicle if it has been in shop for SAME issue 3-4 times depending on your state law.

I bought a new Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 on 03/26/2012. The warranty has run out. The truck currently has about 60k + miles on it. The truck started making a whining noise from the rear end. I brought it to my local Dodge dealer to get it looked at. Turns out its the rear end pinion bearing that went bad. The mechanic told me that I might be in luck and that there might be a recall on this rear end. He did some research and found out my VIN number did not match the recall. The repair that the recall calls for is the same repair they did on my truck. The pinion bearing they took out of the truck was trashed due to lack of proper lubrication, the reason for the recall. I called the RAM customer assistance office and received no assistance with this repair. This lack of lubrication condition could cause the pinion bearing to seize and cause a loss of vehicle control and or cause a crash without warning. The last sentence was pulled directly from the recall advisory that for some reason does not include my truck yet the problem I had is just like the recall. RAM really needs to get this checked out before someone is injured. If you own a 2012 Ram 1500 get it checked out. Safety Recall K36.

I bought the truck in May of last year with only 18000 miles on it. I changed the oil as soon as I bought it (DelVac Mobil 1, 15-40wt syn). Abt 3000 miles later I got the change oil soon message. So I changed it. Another 3000 mile goes by and I got the same message again, but this time I called my local Dodge Ram dealer (Huntington Beach). They told me that the 7500 mile oil change interval is just an approximation. I also noticed that when I drained the oil (into a 5 gal bucket) I noticed the oil level was abt an inch and a half from the top. The dip stick is hard to see if the oil level is higher than it should be. So I took notice to that, so now after another 3000 miles I took an oil sample via Quinn Cat. and it came back with low oil viscosity with an 8.5% of fuel in the oil. Ive tried to get help via my local Dodge dealership and all I got was No engine light, then we cant do anything. I don’t feel that any of what Ive explained is normal. Is there anything you can do to help. Well I got my truck back from Dodge and they told me that 8.5% fuel dilution is? Normal? I cant believe that. They also said that they did a comprehensive injector test. The only thing that I saw in the paperwork that they gave me was that the tech pulled the valve cover and looked at the injectors and stated he didnt see any leaks. Also the tech smelled in the engine, and it didnt smell of fuel. That, is as far as I can see is their BIG test. Anyway, my VIN is **. My oil change intervals are May 25, 2013, 18700 miles (That’s when I bought the truck), Aug 24, 2013, 22176 miles, Nov 17, 2013, 26659 miles (This is when I pulled over 4 1/2 gallons of oil/fuel mix out of the engine), Jan 21, 2014, 29732 miles (This is when I took the oil sample). Changed oil Mar 24, 2014, 32980 (Oil Sample 9% rule in oil), April 27, 2014 (Oil sample no results yet). Now, Im not the smartest cookie on the planet, but if I get 8.5% & 9% of fuel in the oil at only 3073 mile between oil changes, something is wrong (In my Opinion). Thanks for your time. VIN: **, Mileage: 35281, Servicing Dealer: Huntington Beach Dodge.

Driving a Dodge Ram 1500 would have gave it 5 Stars till the night if October 15, 2019. We hit a deer head on at about 90kph. The impact caused the truck excelled to high RPMS and took the brakes out and the knob gear shift Would not function. Heading down to a bridge under construction One lane. We knew we had to hit the ditch in pitch dark or be dead. Because of our speed we only caught the corner of the approach we spotted then a ditch. Miraculously we came out of it with just a fractured vertebrae. THIS TRUCK HAS SERIOUS DEFECTS BUT NO ONE WANTS TO OWN UP TO IT. Insurance company would like to fix truck and send us on our merry way. Transport Canada wants an investigation but now I’m told they took it to our nearest dealer and the mechanic deleted some codes that are important for the black box to be analyzed. I will never drive another Dodge. This was the scariest experience any driver could ever have. But we have lived to tell the story. I can only imagine how many are dead and can’t tell the story.

We have 2 such pickups at this household and have exact same complaints. We paid over $1100.00 for a GPS/Uconnect system in these vehicles both of which are almost totally worthless. Both of these vehicles are equipped to tow Trailers and both are used to tow Rv Travel Trailers. This crappy GPS sends you on wild goose chases, back roads etc. Its not designed to be used in a tow vehicle at all but there it is and no one wants to step up to the plate and make even a small effort to fix the situation. The dealer says its a product installed at the factory which is not made by Chrysler. I say Chrysler installed it. Its their responsibility to stand behind it and make it work as its advertised to do.I recently went to Canada and it actually showed me driving through fields where no roads exist and the Rt 1 highway I was on has been there over 7 years. Driving south through Maine on Interstate 95, my destination was KOA Campground in Freeport. It told me to exit 95 43 miles before the campground which I done towing a 30-foot trailer. It then proceeded to take me on 5 different country 2 lane roads only to cross 95 two exits below where it told me to exit.Next issue, WiFi. A monthly fee of 34.99 is supposed to give WiFi service up to 150 feet from vehicle. Well that 150 feet is more truthfully 20 feet MAX and the service is so slow. The accessory timer built in the RAM (15 to 20) Minutes shuts power off before you can get connected to a website. This family actually likes both of these vehicles but the High Dollar accessories suck. We will not be buying another RAM Product Simply because of service from Chrysler sucks. The Dealer has tried a lot of things to help but I see it as their hands are tied from no support as Paul Harvey said, PAGE 2.

We have a Ram 3500 and we love it! We have gone over 300,000 miles in 3 years towing RVs all over the United States and Canada. It has been strong, comfortable, durable along with a great towing package and the price was right. My favorite feature is the 2 person dual control on the AC/heater temperature and the dual seat temperature control. But they could do away with oil changes and make tires that do not have to be replaced. Other than that, it has been very trustworthy and never caused us any problem except for routine maintenance.

Our 2009 Dodge Ram truck is sitting in the driveway and it is useless. It only has 130,000 miles. We have had it in for numerous repairs and we still have a useless truck that has no power. There is also a recall on a front end part and we still have never been able to get in for the repair. There is now a recall on the recall. Please do not buy a Dodge truck of any kind. Especially, do not buy from Love Chrysler in Alice, Texas. They could never fix your truck but they could keep sure could find something wrong with it. We spent over $20,000 on repairs and finally just went and bought a new Ford Truck. We will never ever step inside a Dodge Chrysler Dealership again to buy a car or truck. Why cant all of us who have been sold lemons band together and make Dodge Chrysler stand behind their repairs.

Well, after taking the hijacked vehicle into the dealer, they were just as puzzled as to why the truck popped the Service DEF, See Dealer message as according to their tech, the entire system checked out. Regardless, they performed a reset of the PCM and supposedly updated it to the latest version. Thus far the truck is running, but who knows if this issue will crop up again. In any case, my original rating has to stand as this is outrageous that they will put out into limp mode, on an otherwise perfectly running vehicle, after 200 miles. It would make sense to simply warn to correct the error or at least extend the range/speed to a more reasonable level.

I purchased my 2014 Ram Express 1500 quad cab 2WD exactly 1 year ago today.
I purchased my 2014 Ram Express 1500 quad cab 2WD exactly 1 year ago today. I had bad experience with the HERITAGE DODGE DEALERSHIP, Parkville, MD - MILEONE AUTO GROUP. My truck had a recall due to a software update (compass supposed to be moved from my Uconnect 5 to the D.I.C. screen) - that was 2 radios & 2 attempts to fix the problem, still no compass at all in truck. While truck was in shop, the express lane manager said they would do a tire rotation. Well I marked all tires, all they did was switch the 2 front tires to either side. But as the MANUAL STATES: IN ORDER TO DO A CORRECT TIRE ROTATION IS BACK TO FRONT, FRONT TO BACK - NOT RIGHT TIRE TO LEFT & VICE VERSA.The payload capacity of this 2WD 1500 is claimed to be 1900 lbs.+ in the bed of the truck. Now here is the kicker, I load my 2013 Yamaha Grizzly 700 in the bed & my bed squats down 5 (5 inches) - my Yamaha Grizzly only weighs 686 lbs. with fluids. Currently this $35k truck with only 12k miles & 1-year old KBB is $21k trade-in value. The design of the coil spring, rear springs is great when empty; handles nice & smooth. Add 200 lbs. & go over a speed bump carefully & you will feel the sag/plush/too soft springs bounce you 2-3 times. Add the 686 lbs. & gently go over same speed bump - bump stops, actually hit the axle. Now I have to go & purchase HD coil springs or purchase AIRLIFT ULTIMATE 5000 AIR BAGS SO I CAN NOT ONLY HAUL my 1 quad, but also my 10 x 6.5 open trailer with my wifes sportsman 500 HO Polaris too. For a truck (not really a truck, when you cant haul anything over 200 lbs.) its pretty quick. With the 5.7 Hemi, MPG is 20-23 MPG hwy.

On the 20th of June 2013, I took a trip to West Virginia for a family emergency (597 miles one way). I fought my truck the entire way. Whenever I came up on a bridge with an expansion joint, I just held on for the ride and wait for the wobble to cease. My truck is a 2011 Ram 3500 DRW with the Cummins VIN # **. When I left, I had 12,200 miles on it. The truck now has 13,321 miles on it. This is also causing excessive wear on the front tires. When I left West Virginia to come home on the 23rd, my front tire pressure was 70 psi. I stopped at the halfway point at a rest area after experiencing a bad death wobble. I checked the front tire pressure. It was at 75 psi (higher due to heat). I dropped the air pressure down to 65 psi in hopes to ease the death wobble. Back on the road again, it seemed to help a little. The wobble was still there, but not as serious. After another hour or so on the road, the wobble came back, and I stopped again and checked tires. Front was at 68 psi. I dropped it down to 60 psi and started driving again. This time the pressure did not help the death wobble, and thank God for traffic in the city. I was forced to drive under 20 mph through the city.I made it to the Interstate 495 (LIE), started off in heavy traffic, moving about 20 mph. Traffic started clear around exit 35-36, then I hit a bump with the right front tire and all hell broke loose. I was doing 40 mph at this time. The truck front end started to violently shake and then the rear started to bounce. I was in the center lane when this happened with traffic on all sides. I applied the brakes and tried to steer to the right. The truck continued to go straight and then started to go sideways to the left. Once my speed dropped below 5 mph is when I regained control of my truck and then pulled off at exit 37. I turned around, got on the northbound side and stopped at a Gulf gas station and called roadside assistance. This is the 23rd of June, and 45 miles away from home. I hit a bump/pothole and the truck started shaking violently. The truck went sideways in the road. This time was the worst. I was sideways in the road, in heavy traffic on the Long Island Expressway. This incident was terrifying and almost caused a serious accident. Are they (Chrysler/Ram) waiting for someone to die?I called Chrysler Roadside Assistance and they would only tow my vehicle to one of their locations, not my dealer or my house. They named a few, and since I am not from this area, I choose the one they listed in Hempstead, NY because I knew where Hempstead was. The dealer was Garden City Jeep. On 24 June 2013, I called Garden City to check on my truck. They did not look at it today. On 25 June 2013, I called Garden City to check on my truck. Service rep said mechanic took truck for test drive and everything was okay. Service rep said they will look at the front end once their lift is available. I have been without my truck since the 23rd of June 2013. I called the dealer today and he made a comment that they do not normally work on heavy duty trucks but started reviewing the problem. He made the statement that When I bottomed out, I never said that... I said no, my truck had the Death Wobble, and explained to him that I never said that I bottomed out. It is going on day 4, still without truck, and now the dealer is talking about taking it to another dealer. The reason for this is my truck will not fit on their lift. This is an ongoing problem with the Ram Trucks. Are you waiting for someone to die in an accident? I am a heart patient and you came close to having a death on your hands. This has shaken me up so much that I do not want to drive the truck home. What would have happened if I was towing my camper? Here are some of my issues: First, my truck was taken to a Chrysler Dealer that does not work on Heavy Duty Trucks. Tow truck that was set up by Chrysler Road Assistance had to swap trucks when he found out it was a 3,500 dually. This caused a delay on his arrival. Service manager said mechanic test-drove and found nothing wrong. Service manager said they checked the front end and everything looked okay. Service manager said my truck would not fit on their lift. So how did they check my truck out?On June 26, 2013 at 1400H, I called Ram Customer Asst. and spoke with Christa. She is going to have my truck taken to a dealer that is capable of working on the heavy duty trucks. I asked if she could take it back to Port Jeff. She will call me back and let me know. On June 26, 2013 at 1715H, I checked home answering machine; message from Christa (Ram Assist) said they were taking my truck to Westbury. They refused to take it back to Port Jeff where I purchased the truck. June 27, 2013 at 0800H, this is day four (4) without my truck. Chrysler Assistance originally towed my truck to a dealer that was not equipped to work on my truck. Now, I have to start over again with a new service rep. My opinion is Ram is collecting all the information with respect to the years/models, and then they will post a recall, or in my case, fix it quietly when the truck goes to the shop for the wobble. At 0930H, I tracked down the truck. It is located at Westbury Jeep Dodge. No service advisor as of now.At 0935H, service rep left a message on my home phone, not cell phone. At 1130H, I spoke with the service rep. (Lenny). He wanted to review/go over why the truck is there. He said that I bottomed out. I corrected him right away and told him the other place said the same, and that I dont know where that came from. I told him that I had the Death Wobble. He said Oh, okay, and no more questions were asked. After we talked for a few minutes, he said here is the issue... They only have one (1) mechanic authorized to work on the Cummins chassis and he has 4-5 Sprinter Vans ahead of me. I asked, How long? and he said maybe 1-2 weeks, depends on what the Vans are in for. Lenny the service rep said he would get back to me this evening or tomorrow evening with an update. At 1730H, message was left on home answering machine by the Chrysler caseworker. I returned his call, but had no luck. It went to his voicemail. On June 28, 2013 at 0752H, day 5 and no truck, and no call from Westbury Chrysler Jeep. Just to be clear, this is not Westburys fault and I am not upset with them. Lenny is working with me as best as possible. At 1130H, I went home for lunch, checked answering machine and had no messages. I called Ram Asst. and left a voicemail with Gus. Gus returned my call 10 minutes later. He stated that the dealer knows what the problem is, but are not complete with troubleshooting. Gus said he will get back to me today, and if not today then not later than Tuesday of next week. I went searching on the internet and found out that the 2011 Power Wagon had the same issue. I wonder if they have the same front end. If not, what then is in common?July 1, 2013, no truck and no word from the dealer or Ram (Gus). At 1705H, I checked home answering machine. Lenny from Westbury left message stating that the steering stabilizer was the cause. They placed one on order, should be there on the 2nd (from my previous experience, the steering stabilizer is a shock absorber mounted horizontally and is usually installed in older vehicles to prevent the wobble of loose/sloppy steering issues). Hope it works. I know these trucks come stock from the factory with the stabilizer installed. Why? On July 2nd, 2013 at 1700H, I checked home voicemail. Lenny from Westbury left message. While listening to the message, Lenny called again and I spoke to him. He said, Good news and bad news. Mechanic was test driving truck after oil change and heard a clunking sound left front. Lenny said the mechanic will put the truck on the lift once it is available again. Truck will probably be done on the 3rd of July around noontime.July 3rd, 2013 at 0730H, ten days without my truck, and it is still not repaired. According to the service rep., the problem was the steering stabilizer. I have swapped out stabilizers on other trucks/jeeps in the past. This is a bolt-on item that should take less than 1 hour to replace. What took so long to repair my truck? Why did the dealer not have stock on a common part? Why was my truck towed to a shop that was not certified/capable to work on my truck? Why has RAM not corrected this issue with a re-call? Why did I pay over $58,000 for a truck and have to put up with this type of service? I am a betting man. I will bet that when I pick up my truck (when it is finally repaired), the fuel tank will be on empty, the inside will be dirty, and the truck was not washed. At 1130H-1215H, no message from the dealer on my truck. No message from Gus at Ram Services. Dealer is not open on the 4th of July, so hopefully my truck will be ready on the 5th of July. At 1730H, I arrived home, listened to voicemail. Truck is ready to pick up. Too late in the day to pick up, so I decided to wait until the next open business day (5th of July). July 8th, 2013 0630H not a good day on July 5th. I arrived at Westbury Jeep/Chrysler around 9:00-9:30. I asked the cashier who I see about picking up my truck. She asked who my service rep is. I said Lenny (one of 5 reps). She went in the back, brought out some paperwork and said that I owed them $111 for the oil change. I paid the amount due. She then said to give my paperwork to one of the valets outside and they would bring my truck around. To give you an idea of this place, it takes up 1 block, cars/trucks are double-parked in the street, tightly packed in the yard. The valet brought my truck around and that is when I noticed the right rear bumper. There is a nice dent/paint missing. The dent is very recent. I instructed the valet to go and get my service rep (who I have never met). Lenny came out and looked at my truck. I voiced my opinion of what I thought and Lenny went inside to get his boss. Lennys boss came out, looked at it, went inside grabbed my vehicle delivery receipt and noticed that there were no dings/dents in that area, just on the tailgate which I knew about. I asked them what they were going to do about this. Their response was to come back when the body shop was open, drop off my truck for a few days, let them fix what they messed up. My wife asked if we can get a loaner car. The answer was no. My truck has been locked up by Chrysler for 12 days. The dealer replaced the steering stabilizer and dented my rear bumper. On the way home, my truck would still shimmy/wobble when I would hit a bump. Not as severe as before, but there is still an issue there. The new stabilizer dampens the problem, not fix the problem. This is probably why the stabilizer went bad at only 12,000 miles. I want my new truck fixed correctly. Once I got home, rolled down the window, stood outside the truck with the engine running, and started turning the steering wheel quickly to the left and right (just enough to move the front tires) and you can notice a jerky/sloppy motion on the tire. I am not a very happy person. I am very unhappy with Chrysler, Westbury Jeep, Lenny (Service rep). I am going to wait until Gus (Chrysler worked) shows up, then I will give him a call and say hi.At 0700H, when I picked up my truck, it had over 50 miles on it (a lot of test drives?) from when it was towed away, it was dirty inside and out, fuel tank below 1/4 tank, the old oil change sticker from the previous oil change. I crawled under the truck to see if they did in fact change the oil. Even the oil drain plug was dirty/oily from them removing the drain plug. Come on, wipe the drain plug off when you re-install the plug. This is basic mechanic stuff. HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I CHANGED!? Your dealers are worried about one thing. MONEY. Not the customer. This is one of two dealers that Chrysler would tow my truck to... 1st place Garden City could not fix the problem. 2nd place only replaced a steering stabilizer and dented my truck. Problem not fixed. My truck is the Ram 3500 Dually Long Horn and looked very nice before going to one of your dealers. Just over 13,000 miles, right rear dent, and a loose front end. This truck looks and rides like a truck that has over 100,000 miles on it. NOT GOOD. At 0810H, I called Gus (caseworker), no answer, left voicemail/message and for him to call me on my cell. At 0911H, no call back from anyone. I tried sending Sergio an email... not sure of email address. At 1200H, while I was at home for lunch, I looked at my front tires. One would have assumed when Westbury Jeep was troubleshooting my truck, they would have inflated the tires to 70psi. I checked them at lunchtime and they were down to 58 psi.At 1230H, back from lunch. NO message or any calls from Chrysler. At 1315H, emails have been sent to the following personnel, which none have replied back: Sergio **, Reid **, Dave **. At 1604H, no word from anyone at Chrysler. The service manager at Westbury Jeep called and left a voicemail on the home phone and he said he was glad/appreciated my business, and just wanted to thank me for being a loyal customer. (This is a case of the left hand not talking to the right hand.) On July 9, 2013 at 0645H, no word from Chrysler. On the way to work, the truck started the wobble again. Not as severe. When it starts, it seems like it goes back towards the center of the chassis. Its like the chassis is flexing/twisting.At 0700H, follow up emails have been sent to the following personnel, which none have replied back: Sergio **, Reid **, Dave **. At 0813H, I called Gus at Chrysler and left another voicemail for him to call me back. At 0813H, I signed up on the Cummins forum. Very interesting and a lot of issues with the Death Wobble. At 1055H, after another call (800-763-8422) to Chrysler and one more attempt to speak with Gus (**), I finally spoke to Christa, explained the situation to her and she was able to connect me to Gus. Gus stated that my original case has been forwarded to another department and will be assigned a new caseworker. I asked for their phone number, but Gus did not have it, and said I would have the phone number once someone called me back. Now, I wait until another caseworker calls me.

Dodge is now my favorite over all the rest. It always started and ran good and I never had any problems with it. I liked the style and the fact that it was a diesel. I liked that it had a full back seat that my dogs could fit in comfortably. I liked the electric windows and seats and the rear window defrost was nice because my dogs tended to fog it up. I chose it because I liked the way it looked but I liked it so much that Ill get another one if I get a chance. It was very reliable and was the best truck I ever owned. I loved my truck. It was perfect to me.

This is the second time in two months I have taken my Ram 3500 diesel into Crown for a check engine light that stays on. Both times even though their equipment says it needs an O2 sensor they say, No, that isnt the problem. Now after they have had it the second day they say it does need 2-O2 sensors, however they dont have any. They are on back order. So they will call me when they come in. So I pick up the truck and I ask the parts guy, how long should it take to get the parts and he checks the order. To my unbelief, he says there are over 5000 on back order. So he says about a month. I doubt if they will be in a year. What the heck is going on with Chrysler. Are they trying to go out of business. I have never heard of anything so stupid. I have to wonder how many people are ahead of me at Crown Chrysler waiting on the same part?

While picking up the 2007 Ram, I found water under the back seats. The sales representative assured me it was due to the cleaning and washing of the truck, and if this was a window leak, the dealer will service it. It rained last night, and I found plenty of water under the seats. Now the dealer sale representative and manager denied seeing and saying that the dealer would be responsible for the leakage. I need the rear window to be repaired; the rain or water is affecting the structural integrity of the car due to corrosion. Needless to say, the mildew and smell inside the car is not acceptable. If I would have been aware of this issue, I would have never bought the truck.

I happen to recommend Dodge trucks. Yes they have a power steering problem based on the tires being too big for the system installed. I own an 03 ram 4x4. In 04 I had steering problems, I bought a custom rack and pinion for 300 bucks, new greasable ball joints (the originals go dry and hard on steering) and the tallest narrow tires I could find. Along with a 35 dollar steering pump from jegs 4x4 so in total about 500 bucks. Its now 2014 and my Ram is still proving why I have nothing but Dodge trucks for the last 20 years. Every truck has it habitual problems (Chevy trans), Ford rear ends blown, Toyota body and frame rusting early. But if you own a truck and your dealer cant fix it, you need a new dealer!!

This is my third Dodge Ram truck and it has been in service 16 times in 2 years. I have had everything from a drivers airbag warning light taking 5 trips to get fixed (and I had to live with while driving 3,000 miles across the country) to multiple DEF problems with the last one resulting in the entire replacement of certain systems. Perhaps the most troubling aspect of this truck is how many times there is a software update affecting the performance of the engine and mileage. 3 updates ago my mileage dropped 25%. The most recent update has restore much of this. As reported by others, the front end does not hold alignment and at 20,000 had to replace one front tire. The dealer here in Salt Lake City has both had their hands tied by Ram warranty service requirements (resulting in multiple trips) as well as having them drill through my brake line while doing another recall changing the bracing in my front end for which I did not receive any notice. That is another troubling aspect of the New Ram company. They wait until your truck comes in to tell you oh, we have a recall rather than sending any notification. The last two times I took my truck in resulted in the truck being gone for 3 days the first time (I just took it in for an oil change) to 5 days the last time for the DEF warning again resulting in both multiple recall changes and having my brake line drilled. I simply do not trust the truck any longer for long distant trips and hauling. Honestly, I think much of the blame has to go to Fiat and how they allow dealers to address problems and issues. Its like dealing with a health insurance claim. I have little doubt this story is playing out all over the Chrysler network as well.

I just bought a new 2016 RAM 1500 Limited, just shy of $60,000. The truck is really a luxurious, roomy, and very comfortable ride all-around. In fact, this is my second RAM as I traded a 2012 Dodge RAM 1500 Big Horn. Today marks one month of ownership and I have only put 225 miles on the truck since taking delivery.Upon getting my new RAM home I started to notice several issues with both exterior and interior finishes that are result of sloppy handling of materials during manufacturing. In addition, my exhaust system was loose and the right rear tailpipe was loose enough to fall off. I notified my dealer and took it in for review of all issues noted. The dealer will be replacing a dash bezel and the leather covered console armrest to remove damaged materials. Then my dealer reviewed the bubble-like fish eye in the paint on the hood. What was so shocking he walked around the truck and pointed out numerous defects in the finish of the paint that I had not found on my own. The more he looked, the more defects he found. It reached a point where I felt really bad about my new truck and really sick about the price I paid for it! The dealer has opened a case on my truck which isnt entirely clear to me what that means.I get home from my visit to my dealer and decide to call RAM customer service to relate all of this and learned something that was not disclosed to me at the point of sale. I was so excited to finally own a vehicle that would give me the ability to navigate Pandora on a big dash screen. Over the past month I have about gone crazy trying to get Pandora to load to the UConnect system only to learn from a rep at RAM customer service that there is no way to make it work as intended due to the loss of a third party technology relationship that is necessary to bring Pandora and UConnect together. What a disappointment!I was told that a notice went out to dealers earlier this year regarding the Pandora issue. However, no one informed me, the consumer, that this luxury feature will never work through the UConnect system. This may have given me pause to move ahead with the purchase. At nearly $60,000, I should not be writing such a negative review of my new truck. All I can do is hope that RAM steps up and backs the product and goes the distance to give me some sense of customer satisfaction. That part remains to be seen.

On 7/15/13, I purchased a Dodge Ram truck from Smolich Motors in Bend. I love the Truck but the finance officer wasnt clear and didnt explain all the extra cost he added on to our deal. After examining the paperwork within a month later, I decided to cancel the extended warranty and the service that I was told was free. I then decided to go through my credit union for the finance but they had to wait for the extended warranty to go through the other bank and be refunded first. 90 days later they finally refunded the $2,200. Then the service contract I was told would come directly to me and wouldnt have to go through the bank sense it was through the dealership and it would only take two to three weeks. Well that was back in October and now we are in to December and I still dont have the refund for the service which I never wanted and never used. The last time I checked they told me it had to go through the bank and the bank would send it back to me. I checked with the Bank and they had not received it. So now we have my money in limbo somewhere and nobody will do anything about it. ** at the dealership has treated me like He doesnt have the time for me and Im unimportant. His excuse for all the mix up was the right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing. I found him rude and very unprofessional. I dont enjoy being treated with disrespect. I will never deal with that dealership again. Just would like to get the refund they owe me.

After getting the truck back again, the burning smell is as bad if not worse than ever. Ive started asking for a new truck. Im going to lemon law next and then to small claims court. I purchased a Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab. And I love this truck. It rides smooth. This truck is great for on and off road. This truck gets up and goes no hesitation. But I would make the dodge level. I dont like the fact that the front of the truck is approx 2 inches lower than the back suspension. I also would maybe put a nicer rim on this vehicle. Also the steering box should be changed in this vehicle. They have been known to cause issues like the death wobble. The slider also needs to be reinforced and a sturdier lock should be used. But I love the body style and comfort of the interior. And the overall appearance and performance of this vehicle. I love the engine sizes you can choose for your lifestyle. Dodge is a very reliable truck. And I chose this vehicle due to reputation of Dodge Ram Tough. Ive never had any problems with it.

Bought a 2015 limited Dodge Ram. This truck has the air suspension. Had it for a couple months and it would not start. The fob would unlock the door and remotely start the truck but would not allow you to push the button to take over from remote start and drive. Finally got it started after approx. 1hr. The next morning took to dealer. Had it three days, replaced fobs. Worked for two weeks, happened again. Had to be towed. It has now been at the dealer for three weeks? They dont know what the problem is. Have replaced fobs again but no luck. Said it is a star case and engineers are working on it. Apparently that would make me feel so much better?I called Chrysler service and got absolutely no help AT ALL. What a joke. I have owned four dodges up till now, all bought new. Think this will be my last one. When I had the truck towed it took them four hours to get here. They gave me a rental to drive. Its a Ram, six cylinder that would not pull a trailer and does not even have a hitch. I spent over 50K on a truck and they give me a 20K replacement. What a joke!!! Has anyone else experienced this problem?

We have a Diesel 5500 Dodge Ram with that horrible DEF system. During this recent snow storm the computer system told us we had 195 miles to service the DEF system before the truck would CUT OFF. This is the 2nd time in 40,000 miles we have had this happen. We are a snow plowing company,195 miles during a snow storm does not give us a lot of time. We brought the truck into Ross Dodge (Boone, NC) and we were told there was no one to help in service, we took it back the next day and the service people told us they would not look at the truck until the ice and salt had been removed from the bottom of the truck. They did offer to keep it in their bay overnight to melt the debris away. Crazy thing is the truck was needed to (lets all say it together) plow snow. Why couldnt they take it over to their handy car wash and wash it off, or put on their big boy underpants and deal with the dirt? They do not keep the DEF part in stock. So now back to the dealership for a 3rd, or maybe its the 4th, time to replace a part that we have no control over. Why is this part not stocked? It is used on so many Dodge Diesels both commercial and individual. Shame on Dodge for letting one state control their multibillion dollar company. Grow a set and stand up to California!

I am the original owner of a 2008 Ram 2500 w/ Cummins 6.7L engine. The truck has been serviced religiously. I purchased the vehicle because Cummins has a stellar reputation. Or so I thought. As soon as the warranty expired, the engine computer motherboard failed. The cost was $3,000.00 and it took three trips to the dealer to completely install the motherboard correctly. Hey, things happen, correct? Recently, I have had a consistent engine light on. At 70,000 miles, I took the vehicle in for service. After a diagnosis, the code of P2262 was the most prevalent code and it signifies a turbo failure. Replacement cost is $4,901.00. I called Dodge to express my concern and they refused to stand behind their product. While I have researched blogs and forums for a reasonable solution, at the end of the day, I have a Cummins diesel engine, with two major failures, before the vehicle turns 70,250 miles. This is an inferior product with an inferior organization (Chrysler-Dodge) standing behind it. Run, dont walk, away from FCA (Fiat Chrysler).

I purchased my Ram truck, new in September of 2021. Within a few months of owning it and just under 7,000 miles I started having vibration/drivability issues. My truck has been in the shop for the same issue approximately 9 times in the past year. I started a claim with Stellantis (Owns FCA) towards the beginning of December 2021 after several weeks of waiting I received an offer to buy back my defective truck. The offer I received to buy back my truck was far from satisfactory and would leave me still owing approximately $16,000 on my loan. I was then offered a cash and keep option, $4,000 and a CDI code (employee pricing). I countered with $5,000 and the CDI code to which they accepted. However, come to find out there are no dealerships willing to honor that CDI code on inventory already in transit or currently on their lot.I was told by multiple dealers of the RAM brand that if I wanted to use this code and receive a new truck at the employee pricing I would have to order something and wait at least 60-90 days, if not longer. I am now expected to continue driving an unsafe defective truck that the dealership has been unable to determine what is causing the issue, putting my family and I in harms way from a potential failure.I have been a loyal Ram/Jeep owner for the past several years and always appreciated how well the customer service was and the fact that they stood behind their brand. It is absolutely absurd to me that a company would not stand behind their brand in this case. How a company can expect a customer to continue driving and paying for a defective vehicle, take a loss on the buy back of their defective product, or accept a cash and keep option with a CDI code that cannot be immediately used to help a family get into a safe vehicle is absurd! The fact that Stellantis is okay with this vehicle remaining in service with the safety and drivability issues it has is extremely disheartening.

I bought my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 in 2006. If you dont beat it and keep up on the maintenance you will truck that runs forever. My truck has a 6.5 lift kit and 37.5 inch tires. The lift kits are popular for blowing out u-joints, not my Dodge. Everyone you know in the last 10 years that I owned my Dodge that owned a Ford or Chevy, has purchased 2 or 3 new trucks since, but me I still have Ram tough, with 170,000 miles on it. I guarantee I never had it leave me stranded, no issues other my wear and tear. Its normal for things to need replacing. I maintain my gem by replacing tires, air filter, changing fluids on time, repairing rust, cleaning injectors etc. If you neglect your responsibility and something fails it isnt Dodges fault. You bought a Dodge for a reason. A Dodge is the only truck I will trust. Its nice to watch Ford owners complain that the tranny failed under 20,000 miles in a new truck as I sit back happy I have a Dodge. If the company is at fault, they tell you, Thats we have such a thing called recalls! I have a marketing degree, and I will use my skills to promote Dodge! Oh have I forgot to mention my Dodge was previously used in the mountains of Utah, and the previous owner rolled it, and amazingly after the roll the truck landed on all 4 wheels and it still drove off the mountain, thats when it was rebuilt and customized and I purchased it when it was 3 yrs old. You would think Dodge Ram is built tough! You think I would have had issues since but I havent! So stop your insulting and blaming Dodge for your negligence. What you all have to say about this! Keep it up Dodge. You rock!!!

The truck is an excellent version this year. Lots of room and very comfortable. The interior is well designed and easy to operate the instrument panels. The handling of the Ram is a bit tough because of the rear of the truck being so light but Ive added weight by placing blocks in the bed and covering them easily as not to be seen. The price of the truck is a bit costly. With gas prices rising they should bring the price down. Otherwise the performance and durability are worth the money. I would recommend this truck to all. Go and check it out. You will not be disappointed.

My truck has had issues with shifting since the day I bought it. The salesman told me it just needs to be broken in. I have 40,000 miles and now they have to put a new transmission in and they are starting out with only replacing a solenoid. Meanwhile I have no car. I research this now and see several complaints on transmissions and engines. Not happy with this vehicle at all.

2016 Ram 3500 Diesel - Horrible front end vibration on delivery. According to the FINDLAY RAM dealer in Post Falls Idaho where I bought it, it is normal for the front to vibrate your fillings out. Vehicle dangerously cut out pulling out onto the highway/road. Took it to the same dealership 3 times and they couldnt figure it out (I checked the transmission fluid and it was a full quart low). The computer went completely crazy making every single gauge go crazy, and warning light flash continuously. She drove it straight back to the dealer and it wouldnt start again. They had to give her a loaner car and couldnt get their diagnostic machine to even talk to it. Out of the blue it magically works again a day or two later, but since no code was thrown they didnt fix anything.Engine is now knocking like crazy on acceleration (taken it to the dealership 4 times) and the same dealership says its not a problem and that if I throw a rod out of the bottom of the engine while on vacation, warranty will cover it. This is a brand new 67 thousand dollar truck... and all of this has happened in the first 5000 miles. I am now at 8000 miles and couldnt be more disappointed with the brand, the dealership, and RAM care. Now I am going to have to get a lawyer to get this resolved.

The track bar broke on my truck and I had lost steering. I managed to cross over two lanes of traffic to the emergency lane and crawl home at 25 miles per hour. When I called Dodge, the woman at the recall center said that they went by VIN numbers only and that my VIN number was not on the recall list. Therefore it could not have been the track bar that failed. As she continued, she said that they knew only 1500 trucks had the wrong smaller truck part and because my VIN was not on the list. It could not have been the track bar. I asked where do I go to get it fixed and submit proof of the track bar being the wrong size and she said its up to me to get it fixed and its not Dodges fault if the wrong size was installed. But they would appreciate me being a Dodge customer. I HATE DODGE! Every Dodge we ever had, the drivers door come off the hinges or they break leaving us to weld the door shut, suspensions go, engines go. Grrrrr, frustrating.

Just over 2 years ago I purchased a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4 from Vasko Dodge located near Canonsburg, PA. The truck has 23,000 miles on it. The truck currently has just over 36,000 miles on it. During my 13,000 miles of ownership to date, the following has been replaced or repaired on this truck (majority of which were sold to me this way): broken front wheel; air filter with 1/2 inch of dirt; windshield wipers; windshield washer fluid empty; front tie rod end; front coil overs/struts; repaired dent/rust on tail gate (Part of Sales Agreement/I paid a discount); tires; front brakes and rotors; rear brakes and rotors; transmission fluid; trans axle fluid; transfer case fluid; spark plugs; anti-freeze; fuel injectors had to be cleaned so engine would idle properly; gas cap; pressure sensor for gas tank (so check engine light would go out); and serpentine belt. I have an office job and all this truck hauls is a DVD movie and a bag of groceries on occasion. This truck is nothing a but a poorly built pile of junk and a money pit that has taken away from the quality of my life and caused me much stress and anxiety. Never again! I am done with Dodge.

Well, where do I start. We bought a truck from Kernersville Dodge. It was a $3500.00 Dually and paid cash for the truck. We did this in October and we still do not have the title for this vehicle. We have called the dealer and Chrysler several times and each one has told me that the title was mailed. Then I spoke to a manager and she said, Well, we dont have the title to send you, so she didnt know what the first 3 people were talking about. We think that the dealer had not paid off the truck and they still had a lien on the title. I couldnt tell you. I have never been lied to so much.In the meantime. We have had the truck in there for at least 5 times for the vibration. It has been to 3 dealerships now and still Chrysler doesnt want to make it right. Kernersville tried to balance it and then said nothing was wrong. We fussed and fussed until Chrysler sent us to Nichols in Burlington. They did put 2 ties on the front and it was 2 totally different tires then what was on the truck. And they didnt report even doing that job. We fussed about that and they wouldnt make it right. So, we go back to Chrysler and tell them that we are going to get an attorney and get the truck returned and get our money back. The next day we get a call and they have made us an appointment for Crown Dodge in Greensboro. I take the truck in there and the service advisor says oh yeah we had one just like this when he worked at another dealer and we had to fight and fight Chrysler before they would change the tires and it is back tires that we have the issue with. So, he called yesterday and said that Chrysler wouldnt make the tires good and we would have to fight with them. So, I pick it up again today. The other issue was that we had the radio go out and Kernersville ran a test and said to our face that they would change the radio out. We said okay, expecting them to call when they got it in. And we would AGAIN drive 100 miles round trip to get that done. Well, when the Crown Dodge place called Kernersville Dodge to see if they ordered that radio, the guy said, Oh, we already changed that radio out. We knew was a lie. When my husband had talked to them the week before to check on all of this, they said that they had no record of getting a radio or that they even tested the radio. They would have to do that again. We had the paperwork where they did it. So, did they do the test or not. We know they didnt change it out. So, Crown ran their own test and yes the radio is bad and they ordered another. So, now I have in my possession a 60,000 dollar truck with no title and mix match tires that cant be rotated and a radio that goes on and off on its own. Hmmm, but Kernersville Dodge wont make it right. But they were all fine when I was getting ready to make that check out. Oh, yeah I didnt mention that they put the tag under the wrong weight and it was supposed to be a farm tag and it wasnt. Kernersville Dodge did that and didnt want to make that right either. We were told to pay the taxes on the truck and buy another tag. And guess what? I dont have a title or registration to get a tag. The temporary tag has run out. The worst experience I have ever had with a car dealer. They suck. And what makes me so mad is that they dont care. They really could care less if you are a happy customer or not.

Dodge Ram 1500 Ecodiesel defective. R 51 recall from Chrysler. The charge air cooler freezes up on these trucks. Chryslers solution is to put a tarp over your grill when the weather temperature is at a sustained 30 or lower temperature. Thats not an acceptable solution to the problem. Chrysler has no solution to the problem, instead they give you a tarp to put on the grill. Good luck trying to put that on in 30 weather. Do not accept the so-called solution to this problem. Contact a lemon law attorney as they do these cases on a contingency basis. It shouldnt cost you nothing to hire an attorney. I expect the class action suit against the Chrysler idiots.

Let me begin by saying that I love my truck! But can tell you that Dodge service is subpar and over the top expensive. I took my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 into the place I had bought it from. When I put the key in nothing happened. They had it for 3 weeks. I told them just leave it like it is and had it towed to Dodge. Dodge had it fixed in 1 day. Great right? Well when I got in my truck to take it home the console was just set back in place. I brought the mechanic out to look at it. He said Thats the way it came in. Are you kidding me? How am I supposed to drive this? I had to take it back to the first place I went to finish the job Because he wasnt sure how to put the console back in. YOURE THE DEALER! Its your truck. My second was when my key fob stopped working. I cant unlock my truck using my remote. I have to remove the key from its fob and unlock it old School. I go to the dealer (the only place you can go) and they say Sure, $300 please. Youre Kidding? Nope! Thats why most people just use the key. $30,000 and I have to use a key? Unless you give me $300. This brings me to my most recent fun filled experience. My engine light is on. After taking it to a trusted mechanic shop they tell me the only way they can get the light out is to take it to the dealer for an update on your system that only the dealer can do. In 2012 there was a Technical service bulletin issued for my truck. As I was NOT the original owner I was not notified. Now in 2017 the only way I can get my truck to pass smog is to take it to Dodge and PAY $120 to have my system updated. THEIR SYSTEM updated in my truck. After all it takes Labor to plug my truck into a computer for 5 minutes and push START. When I asked if this would solve the issue they said maybe not. You should have us do a diagnostic on it first for $210. If it turns out to just need the update will that money be covered in the $210? No. The $120 will be added to the $210. Sooo, I need to pay for an update to a system in one of your trucks when anything on my phone that is a Bug or systemic problem with their programming they just update it for free as its a programming issue on their end and nothing I did. To quote Yep. And if I do get the diagnostic test done Ill still need to pay for the update regardless so youre going to get $330 no matter what? Sounds like it. Does it at least come with lube? HaHa. Im not laughing. I called national customer service. Here Comes the final straw. He brings up that my warranty had run out. I told him thats impossible. I paid $1500 for the extended warranty 100,000 miles or 10 years. Its 8 years old and only has 71,000 miles. He told me the truck wasnt brought in for its 30,000 mile checkup so the warranty was voided. It had 38,000 miles on it when I bought it in 2012. How come I wasnt told about that then. As I wasnt the original owner I guess I wasnt notified. So what about the $1500 I spent on YOUR warranty. Sorry. I love my truck but I can see to keep it on the road its going to really keep costing me and it sure doesnt feel like Dodge cares all that much.

I purchased a brand new 1500 quad cab with 3 miles on it. Now the truck has 329 miles and the radio has stopped working. I either get a blue screen, black screen, no backup camera, etc. I take it to the dealer and am immediately told they cant have anyone look at it because they are too busy. I refuse to accept that answer and seek out a manager. The manager, not happy I have disturbed his coffee break, comes out and confirms my problem. Then says come back and we will take care of it on your next oil change. What? You want me to wait several thousand miles, I dont think so. I have now escalated this to the owner and am awaiting a response. I will follow up.

Own a 2005 DodgeRam One ton Mega cab diesel. Truck is stuck in the middle of my driveway, cannot be removed from park. Need a simple $75 part, the shifter cable that I have been told have been on back order since June 2015. I have logged 91 hours on the phone with salvage yards and Dodge stealerships. No reimbursement for 2 months for a rental truck. I am paying $600 a month for a truck I cannot remove from drive. No expectation date, no explanation as to why the long wait and NO apologies made by Dodge what so ever. There are 1244 on back order. How is this not a recall item? Always been a Dodge/Jeep fan. Maybe not so much after this experience. We shall see how much longer we will have to wait to get this part that is notoriously faulty. Forums for days and days on the matter and many people displeased. Considering gathering this info and trying to talk to people about getting enough of us together on these forums to start a class action suit. This is our work truck. Dodge has shut us and many others down. Very discouraged!

I purchased two 2016 Dodge Ram 3500 in 2017. Had one only a few months and had to have it lined up and dealership had to replace one front tire. Second truck the dealership paid to get it lined up a month after we purchased it. We had it lined up again 6 months later. So now this truck has the two front tires wearing out on the outer thread at about 20,000 miles and 5 months after the last line up. The first truck we purchased has 26,000 miles on it and the front passenger tire (the one replaced a yr ago is wearing out on the outer edge as well. Dealership does not know why this is happening. They say because we did not rotate the tires every 5000 miles (we would have to do this in between oil changes). Then they said it was because we drive around too many curves. (What the heck.) They want to put these tires on the back inside duels so DOT can ding us on bald tires. They said the back tires are worn a little because of over inflation and we never put air in them since we purchased the truck. They cannot tell us why the tires on these trucks are wearing so now we have to purchase new tires every 20,000 miles or less?? Oh and the first truck has to have ball joints replaced. They do not want to do anything to help and they said the Big Wigs at Dodge says they have no reason to believe that there has been enough issues with these trucks to warrant them doing anything about it. I bought this Dodge ram 1500 2014 new and drove it for less than two years before the bumper started rusting, but because I put so many miles on it (40,000) it was not covered under the warranty. The tires needed replacing at around 25,000 miles. Had to replace an airbag sensor for over $500. Had to replace the fuel gauge sensor that is located in the fuel pump in the gas tank, that cost around $350. Had to take it in and have exhaust manifold bolts replace but that was covered under the 100,000 mile manufacturer warranty. They also replaced the right front axle because that was loose with play. Also covered under the warranty luckily. I have it in the shop right now and they believe the camshaft is bad which is covered under the 100,000 mile warranty also. The truck has 92000 miles on it and is 3 years old this month. I have decided I will sell it before it turns 100,000 miles and buy maybe a Tundra or a Chevy but certainly not another Dodge. This was my second and I love my first one but this one drove me over the edge. I will also look for a dealer who seems concerned with my wants and needs. I do have to say I love the look of the Dodge truck. Mine is dark graphite gray with custom rims and its beautiful but I should have purchased stock in their check engine light because it never turns off.

Bought this 2015 Ram with 24k on it and since that it has been only problems. Truck has either engine (5.7L hemi on it) or transmission problems. It shakes and hard to start in morning and also, dont downshift in time, when it needs and the exhaust system rattle under the truck. And after a few seconds (30-40 to be precise) it downshift and truck moves. It also jerks the transmission. Downhill it wont change gears until you get to the bottom of the hill or if I step on gas to give more speed (crazy stuff). Also in reverse it make a pitch noise. Took to dealer a few times already but they keep saying they cant reproduce the problem. I suggest take a ride with mechanics. They denied. They update the software but no changes at all. If you buying a truck get a Toyota at least. It’s well-made.

Updated on 01/14/2019: The worst truck ever saga continues. Since picking up my truck after 14,000 in damages, almost 3 months in the shop, my truck still jumps from park into drive while running, and the dashboard lights up and the speedometer needle jumps to 10 mph with the engine off and the key out of the ignition. I am at 29,000 miles and according to my insurance company and two dealers that I’ve spoken with, I am stuck with this truck. Oh, of course the dealers would love to sell me another new truck with no deals or incentives. Way to go Mopar!! Another non-satisfied customer!!!Original Review: I will try to keep this as brief as possible. Bought the truck new in 2017. July of 2018 received recall for auto park. Previously I had no issues. After I took the truck in, nothing but problems with the auto park. Either the truck won’t go into gear or it will jump from park into drive. In October 2018 my wife was sitting in the truck with engine running and in park and it jumped into drive and drove her into a pond. After 700.00 in towing, almost 14,000 in repairs, 2 1/2 months of being in the shop and I just picked up the truck December 27, and the truck still jumps into drive from park! Anyone heard of any lawsuits concerning this issue? We have contacted the NHSB and we encourage you to do the same!!!

My husband and I purchased a 2018 RAM 1500 SLT 4X4 the last week of May. BRAND NEW! Very first day brought it home, the gear became stuck in park. Would not budge. The vehicle did however get in drive the next morning to take it to the dealership, and became stuck in park again once there. The RAM company said they would send the part... ONE MONTH later the part arrived at the dealership. The truck still will not shift into any gears. Informed the customer service person at RAM and they are looking into the matter. In the meantime, we have to pay $558.00 per month for a defective product, that was advertised as a great RELIABLE product, and we are not even in possession of at the moment. Its not the dealerships fault. They did not make the defective truck. It is the manufacturer and product supplier that created this vehicle that you cannot even drive. Very angry with Dodge that they would not even test their own products before shipping to stores. Thank you for the headache, hassle of dealing with customer service people who could care less that you are out of money on a product you do not even have or can use, and the aggravation of a family of four now down to one vehicle. Will not recommend to anyone to buy. I want them to take back their defective product and void the sale. That is it! But you have to jump through numerous hoops to get them to take back their OWN defective product!!!

I bought the truck used from a Dodge dealership. Used it. Had 58,000 miles on it. I was shocked I got the loan so I planned on keeping the truck for a while. When it hit 102,000 miles (out of nowhere!) I lose the transfer case and the transmission (and I never abused the truck). Actually bought a new transfer case from dodge. Cost me $3,500 and cost me the same for the transmission I had rebuilt. 30,000 miles later the same thing happen to me. I lose both of them. To make a long story short I replaced 3 transmissions and 3 transfer cases.Got the same thing from dodge about transfer case out of warranty. I swear there was a defect in the truck when it was made, I took it to good people not on backyard mechanics. No one to this day could figure out why. I would of placed a suit against dodge for all the money I spent because trucks just dont do that. The truck was never wrecked either. Last winter I put a Jasper trany and Jasper transfer case in it. Had my truck maintained all the time. Last Nov. I had to change everything because it blew out dry shafts muffler pipes. It vibrating and no one can figure it out. WELL I am extremely happy to say I got another loan and I bought me a Ford F250 Super Duty. I will never buy a Dodge Ram ever again. They would have to give it to me for me drive it.

I called 1 hour later and was told that the DEF wiring harness was shot and would not be going anywhere. Not to worry it will be in next Wednesday (this was a Friday). On Tuesday I decided to check and found that it might be Friday. At this point I contacted the Dodge national line and was told that it was definitely in on the following Wednesday. When I checked the following week, I was told that there we issues and it would now be in on the following Wednesday. When I checked 2 days later, I was told it would be Friday. I like my truck but to wait on a part for 21 days is unreasonable. I am not sure why their system is so broken, but based on their performance, I am not sure I could recommend a Dodge RAM. When you buy a truck like this you buy it because you need it. I haul my trailer to horse shows and do not have an option. I had to rent a truck to drive to a horse show and can only hope that Dodge covers it. They were trying to weasel out of paying for a tuck that is less than the truck that I purchased from them. The national representative has even stopped calling me back.

I have told others about the key sticks in the switch. Also I had the truck
I have told others about the key sticks in the switch. Also I had the truck towed to the dealer in Salisbury, MD. The tow company got the wrecker in my neighbors yard and she charged me $400 to have the yard fixed. Then on top of that, they did not take my truck where it was supposed to go (to the dealership). Not only am I upset with the tow company, but with Chrysler. If this problem is not fixed, I am taking the the truck back to the dealer. I am going to leave it and get a Chevy truck. I expect this be taken care of and give back the money I have already spent. I will not go back to Dodge Chrysler.
