Chevrolet Automobile Model 2025 Chevrolet BrightDrop

2025 Chevrolet BrightDrop

The 2025 Chevrolet BrightDrop lineup marks a significant evolution in General Motors’ electric commercial vehicle offerings. Originally launched under the BrightDrop nameplate as a standalone brand, the vehicles have now been fully integrated under the Chevrolet badge for 2025. This strategic rebranding brings with it broader access to parts, service, and distribution through Chevrolet dealerships, helping fleet buyers and commercial operators more easily adopt all-electric solutions across their delivery and logistics needs.

The 2025 Chevrolet BrightDrop models include the BrightDrop 400 and BrightDrop 600, both purpose-built electric delivery vans. These vehicles are designed from the ground up to meet the rigorous demands of last-mile delivery services and commercial cargo transport, while also offering a more sustainable alternative to traditional gas-powered fleet vans. The BrightDrop 600 is the larger of the two and is already widely used in pilot programs and fleets across North America, while the 400 offers a more compact alternative for tighter urban environments.

Powering the BrightDrop 600 is a front-wheel-drive electric motor system delivering approximately 233 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. This drivetrain configuration ensures smooth and quiet operation, ideal for urban deliveries where noise regulations and emissions restrictions may apply. The electric powertrain is backed by GM’s Ultium battery platform, providing high energy density, scalable architecture, and fast-charging capability. The estimated driving range for the BrightDrop 600 in its Canadian configuration is approximately 267 kilometers on a full charge, though real-world range may vary based on payload, terrain, and temperature.

The BrightDrop 600 is equipped to support DC fast charging at up to 120 kW, allowing for significant range recovery in a short period. This means the van can gain as much as 160 kilometers of range in under 45 minutes at compatible fast-charging stations. For fleet operators with dedicated infrastructure, overnight Level 2 charging is also a practical and efficient option. The integration with GM’s charging services and fleet telematics solutions allows for centralized energy management and charge scheduling, minimizing downtime and optimizing operational efficiency.

Inside, the 2025 BrightDrop 600 is designed with the driver in mind. It features an 11-inch digital instrument cluster and an 11.3-inch central infotainment touchscreen. These interfaces provide easy access to vehicle diagnostics, route planning, multimedia, and navigation. The cabin includes multiple USB-C charging ports, ergonomic seating, and secure storage compartments for documentation and electronic devices. Commercial drivers will also appreciate the wide-step entry and low load floor, which help reduce fatigue during frequent in-and-out stops.

Cargo space is a key advantage of the BrightDrop series. The 600 offers over 600 cubic feet of cargo volume, with a high roof and wide rear doors for easy loading of large parcels and bulk items. The long wheelbase of approximately 183.5 inches contributes to an overall length near 290 inches, giving the vehicle ample space without being unwieldy on city streets. The cargo bay is customizable, with various shelving and partition options available from Chevrolet-approved upfitters, making it adaptable to everything from package delivery to service technician work.

The BrightDrop 400, while smaller, retains many of the same features and capabilities in a more compact format. It is ideal for companies operating in congested urban zones, offering easier maneuverability while still maintaining electric efficiency and payload capacity suited for commercial use.

Safety is a priority across the BrightDrop lineup. The 2025 models come standard with a suite of driver assistance features including automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, and a rear-view camera system. Optional safety upgrades include a surround-view camera, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. These features are designed not only to protect the driver and cargo but also to reduce insurance costs and accident-related downtime for fleet operators.

One of the most significant changes for 2025 is the formal absorption of the BrightDrop name into the Chevrolet brand. This move was made to streamline operations and improve fleet serviceability. Previously, BrightDrop operated as a quasi-independent startup within GM’s portfolio, requiring separate service channels. Now, owners can access parts, maintenance, and warranty support at any authorized Chevrolet dealership across North America. This dramatically improves uptime and reduces logistical hurdles for large-scale fleet deployment.

Pricing for the 2025 Chevrolet BrightDrop 600 in Canada starts at approximately $105,305 CAD, with well-equipped models reaching up to $108,805 CAD. These figures reflect the commercial-grade build quality, electric drivetrain, advanced safety features, and connected technologies built into each vehicle. Although this pricing places the BrightDrop vans higher than traditional gas-powered models, the total cost of ownership is mitigated by lower energy costs, reduced maintenance, and government incentives available in various provinces.

The 2025 Chevrolet BrightDrop lineup represents a decisive move toward electrification in the commercial sector. With strong performance, ample cargo space, and full dealership support, the BrightDrop 600 and 400 offer compelling solutions for logistics companies, government fleets, and small businesses aiming to reduce their environmental impact while improving operational efficiency. As more cities move toward low-emissions zones and sustainability targets, these all-electric commercial vehicles are poised to become a vital part of the transportation infrastructure.

This is probably a fine car for short trips in climates that dont get snow. Terrible Denver, Colorado. No wiper on back window. No weather protection for charging port. Drivers entry is difficult. Suspension has limited height range. Radio controls not intuitive. Mileage is only 38 mph after the gasoline motor kicks in at 35 miles.

We purchased a 2014 current and last style Impala to be manufactured. The Impala was driven less than 12000 miles. It is without question the finest automobile we have ever had the pleasure of driving. The ride is terrific, provides consistent 29 miles per gallon or slightly better in ideal conditions. The automobile has all the bells and whistles save factory navigation. We enjoy each and every amenities on this vehicle save one item. Im not a real fan of low profile tires. We will soon remedy the low-profile malady by downsizing from 245 45 r19 to a 17 in wheel which will be very close in total circumference with a much higher sidewall. This will provide a much gentler ride over bumps, bumps and road imperfections and still odometer and transmission will operate correctly. I am currently researching correct replacement wheel so as to accommodate the larger brakes on this vehicle. Offset and bolt pattern must be adhered too. I really believe in days to come current SUV fanatics will come to realize the sedan was a good buggie. For the life of me I do not understand and yet I do. What does not sell you bring off the market! So happy I was able to get one, and almost a new one, suits me. Lots of room and a joy to operate.

I would not recommend this company. All the GM support advisors do is schedule appointments, they dont care about your concern, nor do they care to get to the bottom of the actual problem. Ive had my 2019 Chevrolet Bolt EV for a year and a half now and Have had lots of electronics problems. They tell me they cant use a video to fix the issue that if its not malfunctioning at the time when its at the dealer, they wont fix it. Of course the car comes out of its bumper to bumper warranty by mileage and the entire infotainment fails and the other issues Ive complained about will finally get fixed at my extended warrantys expense and my $100 deductible. I call to speak with a senior advisor, they dont call back, they dont call when you tell them to call and will do what they want, when they want. This is the worst car company Ive ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Ive had Hondas, Fords, VWs and Chevy and Chevy has been the worst ownership experience ever.

I own a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS. While I was driving down the highway in Chicago Illinois at approx 55 mph the vehicle self accelerated to the maximum throttle position (pedal went to the floor). I could not get the vehicle to stop. Applied both feet to brake pedal while moving like a bullet. The vehicle suddenly lost power and I lost control of the vehicle spinning me around at approx 80 mph and crashing into the median wall now facing on coming traffic with cars trying to avoid crashing into me. Most horrific and scariest experience in my life. Not a single airbag deployed leaving me with serious injuries and a completely totaled vehicle! When I contacted GM to complain about this issue they told me they would escalate my complaint and someone would contact me within 24 hours. However a week went by and no one has called to follow up, apologize, and or even offer concern and I contacted them every day after the accident. I was constantly told the same story someone would be in touch! This happened February 22, 2017. As a loyal GM customer I am highly upset!! And will never purchase another GM product as long as I live! I have owned nothing but GM my entire life but never again. This company cares nothing about life whatsoever. They only care about the almighty dollar! After doing research I found several complaint about this unintended acceleration issue as well as no airbag deployment. Only by the grace of god I am alive today! Shame on you GM. You have lost a customer for life and I will tell the world how selfish and inconsiderate you are about caring, about quality of your cars, as well standing up for your mistakes! I could have killed my family as well as other families in the process and they wont even recall the vehicles to prevent further crisis situations. They wont do so until many families have died and it cost more to pay the claims than to recall the vehicles. As a 701 union mechanic I would be ashamed to even be employed by this so called manufacturer! Owner beware. If you own a Chevrolet Trailblazer get park it now and get rid of it! Dont take it to be service. They will most likely turn you around and say your vehicle is fine! Salvage that vehicle and do your research before you buy anything else!

It is a hatchback. Easy access to loading things. Popular model, silver color. Comfortable to sit in. Space for 4 adults. Back seat lets down for more cargo space. Has received great reviews and rewards. Great gas mileage, looks great and very stylish. Low cost too. Got good deal on payments. Easy to park and get out of tight places. I have greatly enjoyed owning and driving this car. But it has too much technology stuff in it that I do not use.

We purchased a 2016 Chevy Impala for my husband. In the 3 years we have had the vehicle, we have replaced the following items: 2 batteries, 1 starter, 1 purge valve. I am writing a review today in regards to the purge valve. Our check engine light came on and so we took it to our mechanic. The mechanic stated that the purge valve needed to be replaced, so we replaced it. 3 days after we paid for the repair, a letter in the mail came from Chevy stating the purge valve may be bad and to take it to the dealership to be replaced. Since we already replaced the valve, I applied for the reimbursement. Chevy is denying my reimbursement since it was not done at the dealership. This is the last Chevy we will ever own.

I purchased a New Chevrolet Tahoe 2018 White Pearl and on the second day noticed a ZIT under the paint and looked around and saw hair fibers and sand under the white paint. I took to the Dealership and they sent to an Autobody Shop and it came back with a different shade darker, not happy with the result and sent to another Autobody shop in Clovis California and it came out ok. There were more fibers and fisheyes noticed and sent back again. This time it was totally torn apart and my vehicle was in there for 11 days. Spent 55k on a new Chevrolet Tahoe and this is what I am dealing with. I noticed more fibers in the paint and need to take back. Really looking to take them to court, because Chevrolet is not doing anything to remedy or compensate me for the issue I am dealing with. Purchased at Keller Auto in Hanford California.

Its been at a dealership 3 different times for multiple days at a time and Ive been given no loaner. So now instead of me being able to provide transportation for my family back and forth to school Im unable to do that. This is absolutely ridiculous and horrible. I chose a new GM vehicle over your competitors and its been the biggest mistake of my life.

I own a used 2004 Chevy Tracker. Up to now it’s been reliable. The body doesn’t have a spec of rust and the engine and transmission are still running strong. The issue I have is with the integrity of Chevrolet Motors. Recently while driving on the highway my left front wheel became unresponsive and the front end vibrated violently. My mechanic informed me that the front cross member/subframe had rotted out. After doing some research on the internet I discovered this is a known problem and the warranty was extended to 10 years or 150k mile. When I contacted Chevrolet Customer Service to see if they would still honor the recall they refused because it was past the 10 year warranty. This is disturbing because it is a known and documented SAFETY defect. My realization is that Chevrolet still puts economics ahead of the safety of its drivers & passengers. So if you’re an advocate of Chevrolet please check the internet for any recalls or complaints for your vehicle model on a yearly basis because our safety appears not to be Chevrolet Motor’s priority.

My husband and I purchased this vehicle after a car accident totalled our other one. Bought this car used and began noticing issues. We have had to replace the torque sensor which was $600 alone. Many Chevy vehicles were recalled for this issue. Today I get a letter in the mail telling me that the side impact airbag was recalled. But heres the catch, they will only replace it free of charge if its under 150,000 miles. The vehicle was over that when we bought the car! Airbag light has been on for some time now... I tried calling Chevy customer service and got nowhere. They asked me repeatedly what the letter said. So after reading it to them 4 times and being told there was no issue, yet Im holding the letter in my hands that I just opened. I hung up. This by far has been my worst car owning experience ever! I feel that there should be something in place for people that are buying these cars used, my safety is just as important as that of someone purchasing a brand new Chevy vehicle!

Own the Chevy Bolt for less than 6 months. Hatch window shattered for not apparent reason. Turning in an intersection, so no other vehicle passing. I took the car back to Jenner Chevrolet in Victoria, BC thinking this was a faulty window. I was informed they will not replace it even though there is no evidence of impact or damage to the window to warrant the window to shatter. The Jenners repair and parts manager told me the side and back windows are designed to shatter with any impact for safety reasons! He then proceeded to inform me that a small sliver of porcelain dropping on the window could cause it to shatter. He refused to contact Chevrolet to enquire if this will be covered, or report the incident. Told me that would be up to me to report this. So I am assume if this is how Chevy designs their windows to shatter with minimal impact, I dont think I would feel safe placing a toddler in the car in case they decided to tap on the windows and have it shatter in their hand. Initially I was accepting of the poor ride and comfort of the Bolt (poor suspension and uncomfortable seats), but I dont think I would recommend this vehicle to my friends or family. I was initially going to purchase a Nissan Leaf as friends has been pleased with their Leaf and has never had any issue with the Nissan dealership in Victoria, BC.

Too bad GM killed this car. 2018 is the last year for the 6 speed manual. Not even available in the 2019, and now, GM thought it was a great marketing move to kill all of their cars that normal people can afford. My car has been very reliable, and on a recent Buffalo to Chicago trip, averaged nearly 50 MPG. It also has a great deal of useable power and torque with the manual box. A 1.3 litre turbo 4 is not the slug you might expect. I dont want an SUV or truck of ANY kind. I want a car thats fun to drive and handles well. Thats why GM is getting it back in a week when my lease is up - and isnt leasing me anything else. After leasing me my last 4 cars. Ive replaced it with a 21 year old car in excellent condition, which pays for itself in about a year of not making payments. Now I can buy something really fun instead - another motorcycle!

Being a Chevy family for years I am very disappointed to find out that they hide problems with their vehicles from their customers. They can send out flyers to purchase new car mats or upgrades for cars, yet when a part is bad on their vehicles are bad. On our Trax our pvc valve cover went bad and Chevy had known that on the 2013-2017 Trax, Sonic and Cruise this part had been malfunctioning. It would have been under warranty from my dealership had I know when I was home to take it in.My warranty is not valid anywhere but there. Of course they never told me that either. My family decided to see our son who is in the Army 3.5 hours from our home. Car was not covered. We were stranded for 3 days because the strike caused a lack of parts throughout the country. Dealerships were closed because it was a weekend so we went to a Pep Boys. Chevy acknowledges this is an issue but refuse to reimburse me because I didnt go to a dealership in the town we were stranded in. Which by the way couldnt find the part we needed a Kia dealer had to find it! We will be trading in our Chevys by the end of the year and getting a different brand who believes in customer service not just making a buck!

I purchased the Malibu brand new with 52 miles in March 2016. The first 6 months was good. The gas mileage did not meet what was specified but it wasnt bad. Towards the end of the year my car wouldnt start after stopping at a local grocery store. I had to wait till 2 hours later for it to mysteriously cut back on. Once it did the air was stuck on high and the radio wouldnt come on. Took it the following Monday to the dealership that determined the computer needed a reboot. Everything was fine for a few more months then the car cut off again. This time the dealership could not find anything. The car continued to cut off randomly at times while driving. Each time two different Chevrolet dealerships could not find the problem or cause. I am concerned for my safety as this occurs while driving. This makes me rethink and question the brand Chevrolet.

This full-size truck has spacious interior and exterior and strong V8 engines. I think the Silverado has a nicer interior and it also rates slightly better for reliability than other trucks. It is very quiet and rides great. Nice tight ride and handling. The biggest change for me is the mileage. Real-world driving city and highway on the very first tank 17.5 mpg. My 2019 Chevy High Country has been a nightmare. Within my 1 st week owning my High Country I began to experience transmission problems. It would shift very hard between gears 3-5 up and down. I got hold of my dealer, Reliable Chevrolet in Springfield Mo, informed them of the issue, a shop foreman took a ride with me and Agreed it was not right. We set an appointment for one week out, I thought this strange to wait a week for such a serious defect, the truck got much worse during the week. I then took truck in, after 2 days I called to check on it. The dealer had not even looked at the truck, I expressed my extreme displeasure in this, my truck is my work truck and need all my tools to do my job as a home builder. I then thought it important to contact Chevy, I called customer care, they opened a case # and said a specialist would call within two days, 3 & 1/2 days later they had still not called. In the meantime I learned the truck I traded in was still at dealership, I called them and Chevy customer care and stated I am extremely unhappy with my brand new $65,000 truck having transmission issues within the first three weeks of ownership and wanted to unwind the deal. I would buy my old truck back and give them back their lemon truck that I had purchased, Reliable Chevrolet refused to not sell the trade truck, Chevy customer care, stated they would reach out to Reliable Chevrolet and see if they can help us get this resolved. In the meantime Reliable Chevrolet finally got my truck in to service and said it needed a brand new transmission. They contacted Chevrolet and they agreed and said they were shipping a new transmission. Would take 2 to 3 days for it to arrive & another day to install it.I called in in three days later to check and see if they had received the transmission only to find out that Chevrolet engineers had change their mind and said it needed a modulator part to work correctly. I was very displeased because as stated above they told me to continue to drive the truck for a week, it’s smoked, I could smell the transmission oil burning, and the hardness of the shifting had to be doing permanent damage to the truck. I have been a loyal customer of Chevrolet, for all of my personal truck and my company vehicles for employees have been Chevrolet’s. In the last 10 years I’ve purchased 25 brand new Chevrolet trucks. With my experience from this 2019 Chevrolet High Country, and the way I was treated by Reliable Chevrolet Springfield Missouri, and the very poor customer service from Chevy customer care who never did call me back until after week after Reliable Chevrolet returned my truck, I will never again purchased a Chevrolet vehicle or deal with Reliable Chevrolet in Springfield Missouri. My best advice is Buyer beware. My only voice With a large corporation like Chevrolet and this dealership which is very large in six states, is my buying power, they will no longer enjoy my business or have me or my company as customers, I have always spoken very highly of Chevrolet and actually argued with Ford owners about quality and service and brand loyalty, no more.

My Chevrolet Metro has 13 inch tires so for street use only. Good gas mileage. Only 3 cylinders, so not a lot of power. Definitely a smaller vehicle, and so I try to stay off the highway. It has 4 door, comfortable seating. Easy to drive in the city and okay first car. Experts recommended the vehicle and this model has good customer ratings but it was a mistake purchase, should have purchased a different vehicle... Replacement parts are expensive though and its not the safest of vehicles if in an accident.

Way to go Chevy for making sure your pockets stay padded while the rest of us have a car that’s spent more money fixing it than what they paid for it! I am up to almost $2500 in repair costs and have been without a car for 6 months. I have replaced the ENTIRE PCV system. The water pump, the terminal block fuse, the starter, engine oil cooler, sensors etc has been replaced and some have been replaced numerous times. It’s horrible how this is clearly a problem from the factory and a poorly designed system but yet Chevy has no fix, swears there’s nothing wrong, will not issue a recall, and are allowed to get away with it. Don’t get me wrong because I always have and always will drive their vehicles and I’ve had no problems to date with any of the others I’ve owned. But this one sure has left a bad taste in my mouth and highly disappointed that they don’t care about our/my loyalty to their line. I loved the car except for all the issues. Once I get it back I have no choice but to try and get rid of it before the next 50,000 miles since that’s the average they last until the PCV system starts to fail again.

I am writing to complain about my Chevy Cruze 2016 Limited Lt. I have nothing but problems with this turbo. The fan sounds like the car is going to take off. This happens when you run the air conditioner. The car surges and the car goes through a stage where it takes a minute to reset. The turbo has acceleration issues where it will be running OK then slow down to barely doing the speed limit. I have had it in the dealership 3 times. They always tell me everything is OK to have it back and it is doing the same thing all over again. I dont want a car with a turbo anymore. Too many problems. I feel that I cant get the answers Im looking for. If I contact the dealership they will just tell me how everything is OK. I pay good money for my vehicle and if it is going to continue to be a problem maybe they should let me trade it for another vehicle. I need to know who to talk to so I can get this problem fixed.

I currently have a 2004 Silverado 1500, a dream of many years. Aside from the general maintenance of any vehicle (breaks and the likes) this truck is AMAZING! I give, as an example: about a year ago, I was about 50 miles from home when the coolant line sprung a leak! Id noticed a small puddle under the vehicle when I came out of the store where Id been shopping, but thought it was condensation. On the drive back, through some rather rural area, I noticed a slight increase on the temperature gauge so I drove with care not to over-exert the engine. Taking the truck immediately to the mechanic, they opened the reservoir for the coolant to find it completely dry! Repairs were made and subsequently I learned that these vehicles have a protection against over-heating! It saved my day, my purchases, my sanity, to be sure. This truck, even at its age, has been a blessing, helping me move house, hauling brush and wood, its amazing in snow, and I live in a mountainous region in Northern New York state where Winters can be quite brutal. As for the rating given about the cost, quite honestly, I find the cost of motor vehicles these days to be rather unreasonable over all. But even for the basic Silverado, I would say, considering the peace of mind and safety, Ive experienced with mine, the price is reasonable. Could be better (lower of course), but as is: perfectly reasonable. I recommend the model to everybody, even those who think trucks are out of their personal style. Drive one, youll be stuck forever.

Im not a fan of it (Chevy 1500 Van). The vehicle was said to be in much better condition than it is. It was being sold by a family member and so we thought they would be honest about the condition of the vehicle. It breaks down too easily and has been in the shop several times this year. The only thing that I like about the vehicle is that it is big enough to accommodate my family. However, I would honestly overhaul the entire thing. The upholstery is garbage, the engine is hard to work on because of how built. I have never had a vehicle break on me the way this one had.

Chevy sucks. Bought my 2016 Chevy Trax in September 2015. Its been well maintained. At the 59,000 mile mark, the steering wheel locks up and the engine powers down with no warning, ESC lights comes on and the car loses acceleration. Took it to 1 dealer who keeps it for 4 weeks when they figure its a module. I brought it to my regular mechanic who has a relationship with another Chevy dealer so I could save on labor, they have it for ANOTHER 4 weeks. And still with the savings, it cost me $1120 for this repair on top of the $218 I paid for the original diagnostic. I finally get the car back, have it for a day and its the same problem! They replaced the battery, and STILL the problem is still occurring and the dealer cannot figure out what is wrong. This is Chevys crappy product! Nothing in the normal wear and tear of car ownership should have me shelling out all this money when I bought it brand new and have had it for 3 1/2 years. Ive made 3 car payments in the last 90 days and still dont have a car to drive. I WILL NEVER BUY A CHEVY AGAIN!

I loved the style of the car. The Chevrolet Cavalier was an older car, but it was a great little car. It got great gas mileage, Air conditioning and FM Radio and it was just the right size car for me. It looked like a sports car, but with a 4 cylinder engine, and had all the features that I needed in a car. It had a roomy trunk for groceries and enough room in the back seat but I would have liked to have a little more room in there for the passengers.

So far so good, except when we had to replace the tires because they were dry rotting and a sensor needed to be replaced. Other than that the car is comfortable to drive and has good pickup speed for a four-cylinder. Also, seats are comfortable, mom was the one that chose it. She had seen and advertisement in the paper and wanted to go look at it. After test driving it, she asked me how I liked it, then she bought it. However, I dont like the fact that it is made in Canada, should have been made here in the USA. I also dont like having to reset the clock when daylight savings time goes into effect. Also would like a full-size spare tire instead of the donut.

Reported problem: Full Charge mileage range reduction from 238 plus miles t
Reported problem: Full Charge mileage range reduction from 238 plus miles to ~156 miles. Courtesy Recall ** Loss of propulsion High Voltage Battery Without Notification. Complaint: The normal vehicle range of 238 miles is reduced 35% to 156 miles. After the courtesy recall the range was further reduced another 27% to 115 miles. GM acknowledges this reduction in range but is calling it normal. When the vehicle was delivered to Jack Evans for service, I reported the issue with decreased range. I noted that I drive ~150 miles round trip for work daily, with the decreased range I was unable to use the vehicle for the intended purpose as there was insufficient margin. I feared not being able to get home. The dealer agreed that the vehicle was reporting range of 157 miles with full charge but were unable to find any issue with the battery. They contacted GM Technical support for advice and were provided no additional information on the problem. Sarah the Service Manager at Jack Evans told me that GM tech support advised her to report the issue on the invoice as “Customer Concern Not Reproducible” and the decreased range is due to customer driving conditions and connecting my Cellphone to the infotainment system, what I am seeing is normal. After completion of the courtesy recall the vehicle was connected to a charging station, with zero miles driven. On 50-degree day the full charge range decreased from 157 to 115 miles. The Service Manager again told me this is caused by my driving style and environmental settings. The reduction in range after the service recall happened with no changes to driving or environmental settings. I was again advised to unplug my phone from the infotainment system as this could reduce range expectations. If I did not agree with the information presented, I should contact GM Customer Care. The dealer did not report the additional service recall related range reduction to GM Tech Support. GM Customer Care Case ** called in on 2/13/2019 was escalated to a Customer Care Manager. After receiving no further contact or status I contacted GM Customer Care on 2/21/2019. I was promised a status by end of the day. With nothing heard I again contacted GM Customer Care on 2/22/2019 only to be told I would be contacted in 2 or 3 business days. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that would also take 2 or 3 business days. I contacted GM Priority Care where I was forwarded to a Customer Care Manager. I was again told there is no problem with the vehicle. After some time reviewing the record, we determined the information I had been providing was not being documented, such as the reduction in range after the service recall. I was also told that Jack Evans service department reported no problems with the vehicle. As noted above, Jack Evans service department told me that service code was at the direction of GM technical support. My dispute with GM Customer Care is based on GM advising Jack Evans on how to report an issue then telling me there is no problem based on what was reported by Jack Evans. Further background: I drive the vehicle ~150 miles daily, charging the vehicle every night for the next day. I drive the same path every day, my environmental settings are set for 70 degrees, heated seats and steering wheel heater set to off. From April to November my typical range exceeded the estimated range of 238 miles, more likely around 300 miles. On the coldest day (5 degrees) with headlights on the reported range was ~185 miles, after 150 miles the system reported ~50 miles to go. The decreased range of 156 miles no longer allows me to use the vehicle for my daily work commute as intended. The further range reduction to 115 miles will not allow commuter use at all. General Motors Customer telling me the range reduction is normal when I know from experience this is a significant change from routine use is not acceptable. Usage and environmental settings are no longer an issue as I can no longer using the vehicle other than for errands. When I purchased this Chevy Bolt EV there were only two vehicle manufactures making an electric vehicle with a range above 200 miles between charges, one being Tesla, the other GM. With issues being reported and ignored by GM, there is only one remaining.

2018 TRAVERSE VIN # ** Mileage: less than 10000 (ten thousand). Export version only. Country: COLOMBIA. Many small issues and no fix yet.1. Shift to park. When you park the vehicle ask you to put it in PARK and it is already. Dealer is working on that as I write this thread. Tech found a recall or bulletin from manufacturer to repair or possible replacement of some parts.2. SERVICE STABILITRACK. In many and random occasions this service light comes on and 20 seconds later goes off. When stopping at a light. Dealer unable to duplicate and no fix yet.3. Fuel economy system, it does not work right now, and it happened twice before. Does not turn off when you stop at a traffic light. Dealer has updated software in order to remedy this issue.4. Locking audio confirmation. When you manually lock the doors it gives you an audio or lights confirmation. It does not work anymore. Dealer looking into this issue.5. Electric parking brake. The electric parking brake activated itself while driving in traffic. Heavy traffic situation 5 mph and the E. brake came on and stayed on. The vehicle did not move forward or backwards. Turn the engine off several times, put in parking, neutral etc etc. After 5 minutes of blocking traffic had to force the vehicle to the shoulder. Almost did not make it. Turn vehicle off and called the flat bed. While waiting 15-20 minutes later turn vehicle on and SURPRISE!!! It was fixed. MAGIC. The E brake was off and the vehicle was free. While this was going on the E Brake light (red) was on, and Service Parking Brake light (amber) was flashing all the time. Dealer did an update to the system and not sure if it will happened again. But this is the THIRD time this happened. Once at my house about six months ago but it took about 1 minute and it fix itself so I did not pay attention to it. The second time it happened to my wife at a shopping center but she left it in the lot and went back shopping and when it came out it was fixed. The dealer down here works hand to hand to a place in Mexico (Chevrolet help center for dealers). Mexico looks at the issue and tells the tech in Colombia what to do. He does and reports to Mexico. Anyone knows anything about this? Thanks for your help....

Bought a 3500 diesel. Was told motor and tranny would last forever, after 3000 miles brakes wore out on a Saturday. Replaced brakes and rotors with aftermarket on Saturday night so I had a vehicle for the weekend, went to dealer on Monday morning and was told brakes were not warrantied, Brakes should last longer than 3000 miles so there was obviously something wrong. Was told to get the ** out and to go to the dealer where the vehicle was purchased. Went to original dealer and was told nothing was wrong. At 40000 miles motor started to knock. Was told it was a sensor. Replaced sensor. Still same knock. They finally take my truck in and admit the motor was bad. Gave me a loaner for a month then called to tell me they needed their loaner back because it was sold as I was rudely yelled at by general manager and was told that loaners were for a few days not for a month. They did not have a loaner to replace it so Chevy corporate told me they would send me a refund if I had rented a truck. Needless to say they took 3 months to fix my truck and after six months and numerous phone calls still have not received any money from them. Was a dedicated chevy truck guy until this whole fiasco. Never again. Truck is a complete junior $65000.

Because my car requires OEM parts, I work closely with Service Writers at the Dealership Service Centers. I am not a fan of paying for diagnostics more than once for any issue, although the dealer will attempt to charge me repeated diagnostic fees. We purchased a brand new Chevrolet Tahoe from Koon’s Chevrolet of White Marsh, MD in 2018. It now has 31,000 miles on it. We drove an hour to this dealership multiple times even though we could’ve bought 1 closer to home because we had loyalty to the sales person who spent all of the time with us. There was nothing better about the price etc. With owning our own business we understand the importance of time & commission. As of June 30th, it had 3 issues: 1. Air conditioner was not working. 2. Thump sound coming from under drivers side area when driving3. Peeling paint on an area where bumper meets side panelWe drove it out of town for the 4th of July holiday & the AC wasn’t working. I called & scheduled service on July 5 for a July 8 appointment. I explained to guy in service what the issues were & that I had tried to take it for the paint to another dealership closer to home & they advised that I would need to go to a dealership with a body shop & that Koons had 1 since that is where I had bought the car so when I made the appointment I notified of them of all of this & requested a loaner car since it would probably be a couple of day fix if it was paint related. They said OK & transferred me to the call center to make the appointment. I mentioned many times that I expected these things to be covered under warranty. At no time did anybody say they wouldn’t be or that my car was out of warranty. My husband takes the morning away from our business to drive the car an hour away for the services. Upon arrival at Koons, without even trying to be helpful or offering other avenues the service advisor (Charlie) was immediately snarky & couldn’t wait to tell my husband that the car was out of warranty & we would have to pay for the loaner & diagnostic fee & that any repair would be out of pocket because we were 11 days out of warranty even though mileage was low. When I made the appointment we were 3 business days out of warranty. This immediately upset us. My husband said, Isn’t there anything you can do? And the advisor said, No you’ve never even used us before why would I help you. Which actually is inaccurate. Koons repaired things on our car & did an oil change or two. However a car with 31,000 miles shouldn’t need many services so of course we hadn’t used you for anything else why would we. So here we are the first time we really need assistance after buying a very expensive car from Koons & we are treated this way. We own a business that deals with warranties and manufacturers nonstop. We have to service & warranty units that we did not install. We’ve made exceptions for customers. We always go above & beyond. We have a 5 star rating. Chevy does the same. Nobody even ever offered to try & help us or call GM or anything. As a Cadillac owner I know the lengths that my local dealership has went through for me even though I did not buy the car through them. So I told my husband to ask for the manager & try to get the same level of service that we’ve had with our prior vehicle through Cadillac. While he did that I called Chevy. I spoke with a great advisor & received a case ID & filed my complaint. I got everything taken care of on the phone with somebody that we had not spent a dollar with. That’s customer service.Meanwhile my husband is wasting time debating the level of customer service we deserve with your manager (Dan) after having quite the discussion with your advisor. The advisor was arrogant & unhelpful. The manager wasn’t very helpful either but at least he wasn’t that arrogant & rude. My husband drove the car back to our local dealer who picked up the case & fixed everything & helped us get it covered. Yes the dealership that we did not give the business of a car sale to was the one that ended up helping us so guess who gets our business going forward. Jeff D’Ambrosio that’s who. Koons dealership isn’t even a 1 on the scale, it’s -5. Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever had from a car dealer or mechanic shop anywhere.

I purchased a brand new Corvette SR in June of 2019. This is a body style that has been in production for 5 years. In September, my car was hit and required body work including a headlight. I found a body shop at a dealership and confirmed all parts were available for the repair. After confirming this, the car arrived at the shop less than 3 hours later on Oct 3. The service adviser committed completion by Oct 23. I got my car a month later (11/22) due to the headlight availability. All along, NO information was available until about a week prior to completion indicating The order (Headlight) was being processed Whatever that means. Once the headlight did arrive, the car was ready for pickup within two days. When a virtually new car is tied up for a month for something that is totally within Chevrolets control, they need to accept responsibility. Here is where they broke down in this long story. 1) Parts availability information is inaccurate. The parts manager can see inventory available but when he goes to request it, the item is reserved. Visibility of a reserve is a very basic inventory function. 2) Delivery - When a backorder does occur, available to promise showing an anticipated delivery should be the norm rather than leaving a customer guessing. 3) Allocation - They would move parts to build new cars before covering service requirements. Does this make sense? Build a new car knowing full well you cannot keep it roadworthy due to material shortages.4) Customer Service - I called in my complaint on 11/21. I have had multiple contacts since then til now 12/3. Today they called and left no message. Three minutes later I get an email indicating they have been unable to contact me. I called back less than an hour later and left a message. No replay as of this writing. They simply try to wear you down rather than step up and take responsibility for a problem of their creation.I absolutely cannot recommend Chevrolet as a go to source for a luxury or performance vehicle until they are prepared to manage the supply chain better in both supply and information. And provide a customer service department that actually is expected and empowered to do something about these problems.

Vehicle was working again at dealer and Dealership couldn’t replicate issue. Had it back one day and it started doing it again so we videoed it when it wasn’t functional and it went back to dealer. It’s been in and out of shop going on 3 weeks- longer than we have even owned the vehicle. It appears there is some sort of serious electrical issue with these vehicles and we are not sure the dealer will buy it back- which is what we want. Buyer beware.

Until everything started going wrong with this car. When I got the car I was told right away that I need to get the two latest recalls one for the ignition switch and the other one was for the electronic power steering motor -- which was done without delay. One month after this one of my headlights started getting water damage and both of the bulbs stopped working (150$ repair). Right after this my driver side speaker stopped working (which makes the blinker noise - another 150$ repair). The next issue that occurred was my whole power system unit stopped working (not even two months past getting the EPM recall fixed - 1200$ GM only repair) which resulted in them breaking my steering wheel cover (that they werent trying to tell me about or fix). The steering wheel was crooked and didnt drive straight (told the GM dealership and there wasnt anything wrong with it supposedly). Reported this to the appreciate channels -- Chevy shouldnt be able to get away with this kind of malfunction when the problem was identical to the EPM malfunction. Of course, no recall or any form of help came of it. Not even one month later and my gear shifter it almost getting to the point where it wont go into gear (hard almost stuck like feeling to get it into position). Once again GM dealership says that there is nothing wrong with it.Finally weeks after this issue my check engine light is on (yet to be diagnosis), have a feeling Im not going to be happy with whatever is broken this time. I seriously hate this car so much and I have low mileage. My 04 Chevy cavalier (that was burning oil, and ran dry a few times) never gave me any problems and ran like a champ. I seriously hate this Cobalt and the Chevy dealership Ive taken the cobalt to. As soon as I can Im getting rid of this car and never ever going to buy another Chevy (it use to be the only brand Ive ever bought but your newer models are lemons).Chevy found a way to get their newer models to a certain mileage and then one by one everything stops working or malfunctions! Ive never spend so much in one year on car repairs and they call the Cobalts sure money savers and even found a way for local news programs to market them like they are cherry cars. DO NOT BUY A COBALT OR ANY NEWER CHEVY MODEL-- YOURE GOING TO REGRET YOU EVER DID.

I find my Camaro SS to be a very fun and enjoyable car to drive. Sounds and handles excellent. Im a little upset that my HUD is no longer working and is not covered under my extended warranty. I am very happy with the car. Not happy with the service department of the closest dealership where I like to get the car serviced. Chevy did an awesome job with the Camaro, the seats are comfortable, its easy to get in and out of, like my bigger cars, trunk is a great size, even with the top down. Its all around a great car!

2011 Chevy Aveo - This car has been nothing but trouble and a headache!! Ive had to constantly get this car repaired! I got this car in 2014, with 35,000 miles. Its now July 2017, 76,000 miles and Ive had so many misfires, have to change the thermostat, alternator, spark plugs constantly, head gasket, fuses, hoses, and I am still making payments on this car. Chevy isnt any help!!! Im at the point I want to upside down it and I just started building my credit, so this sucks! Dont buy or finance this car, big mistake!!! CHEVY IS HORRIBLE!!!

Bought a brand new 2018 1.5L Malibu with 2 miles on it, have had extreme acceleration problems off and on everyday. It will have no power and sit at 3400 rpms even when the pedal is at WOT. Dealer cant duplicate the problem so were stuck with it... Monitoring it thru the OBDII port I can see that there is little to no boost PSI on the turbo during acceleration when Im having this issue. No check engine lights on at all and we now have 1700 miles on it and it hasnt stopped giving us issues.

This car (2017 Spark) sucks. The user manual is terrible, doesnt explain many things like how to store a radio station, use the rear seat belts. I cant find a way to connect the seat belts in the back seat. No leg room, radio is complicated to operate and is distracting when trying to switch bands/station while driving. Dont go to this dealership. Find another. No car dealer is honest, but there must be better. I regret going there and getting this car.

The Chevrolet HHR was an OK summer car and its cute. Bought it brand new and it had thousand miles on it and the engine doing nothing but problems with our body. Ive never buy a Chevrolet ever again and I would not recommend it to any other person that Im post to friends or family. It was complete garbage. I would definitely improve the motor aspects of the car itself in the whole body. It was very weak and needed much replacements during the time Ive had it. But other than that, the seats are comfortable and clean. The radio was nice and I love the bass and the option to change the sound for each song if needed.

Re: Chevy Trax. The first year this model came out, it had a few glitches, but still was fun to drive, easy to park, not too bad on gas mileage and had enough space for a small SUV. Having had a decent experience with my first Trax, I opted to re-lease again. The newer Trax still has a few glitches and not too many upgrades. Still, its a good, solid, dependable little vehicle. In my opinion, the price could be lower since there arent too many extras included, just enough to not think youre driving a low-end vehicle. All in all, I like my Trax, and will continue to lease them in the future.

I got the Chevrolet for cheap and was in need of a vehicle. The parts are not expensive and easy to find as well. And Vermont is where I live and there are plenty of Chevy dealers around and mechanics dont mind working on Chevys so thats a plus. Everyone loves American made cars. Cheap and easy. The car stereo is not very great though. And there is nothing electric about the car. The windows even have manual rollers on them. The windshield wipers kind of are not very good either but that doesnt really have to do with the model car. The wheel baron is going and that sucky. It has minor problems like the window and door wont open but the rust under it I dislike the most. Still, it has been one of the best cars I have owned even though its old. It has lasted me much longer than I thought it would. If I had to drive a Chevy again I would definitely choose a Chevy over many other car models out there. The engines on Chevys like to run for miles and miles.

Second 2015 Chevrolet Dually Duramax shut down in the exact same manner, right down to fueling and driving a little way, and stopping. Metal shavings found in fuel system. Now my coolant is the outside weather and I have to drain that crap out and replace it with the green stuff since it is apparently safer than what the manufacturer provides. Bit of a miracle that I got a 97 Lumina under a hundred thousand miles in 2019 so Im not going to destroy it with bad coolant. With the mixture, the car now raises its temperature rapidly at a stoplight and Im going to have to drain that stuff before Winters end. Fortunately the temperature quickly goes back to normal once the car moves.

I have really enjoyed this vehicle and have taken it in many long road trips. It is quite comfortable to ride in for long periods. It has been very dependable. Only needed minor cosmetic repairs and regular maintenance such as new tires, replacing headlights, etc. I like the silver color and that it came with lots of features factory installed like sunroof, XM radio and GPS. I like that it has room for hauling stuff, the back seats fold down and it has a very spacious cargo. Also it gets excellent gas mileage and I just like the overall look of the car. But the backseat doors are very small and do not open wide. It makes cleaning difficult. I also am not able to put a bike rack on the back due to the hatch back. Also I wish the console between the two front seats wasnt there. I never use the cup holder and I have to put my purse in the back seat if I have a passenger.

Love the on-star feature... no engine problems, handles very well on the road, feels and sounds like you going 50 miles per hr when you are actually going 70mph even now. Of course I keep the oil change and do regular maintenance on the car. My husband bought this truck new because he wanted something that a female could drive due to its midsize.
