Chevrolet Automobile Model 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray
2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray
The 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray marks a significant step for the iconic sports car, introducing a hybrid powertrain and all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. This is the first time a Corvette has been equipped with an electric motor, combining the classic V8 performance with hybrid technology to offer exceptional acceleration and year-round capability. The E-Ray retains the mid-engine layout and design cues of the C8 generation, but with added features that distinguish it as a unique model in the Corvette lineup.
Powertrain and Performance
Hybrid System:
The E-Ray features a 6.2-liter LT2 V8 engine, producing 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.
Paired with a front-mounted electric motor that adds 160 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque, resulting in a combined output of 655 horsepower.
The electric motor powers the front wheels, making the E-Ray the first Corvette with all-wheel drive.
Performance Specs:
The E-Ray boasts a 0-60 mph time of just 2.5 seconds, making it the fastest production Corvette to date.
Quarter-mile time is achieved in around 10.5 seconds, showcasing supercar-level acceleration.
Stealth Mode:
Allows for all-electric driving at speeds up to 45 mph, ideal for quiet neighborhood exits or city driving.
The mode is limited to low-speed travel and uses a small battery pack located in the car's center for a balanced weight distribution.
Chassis and Suspension
Standard Magnetic Ride Control 4.0:
Offers a balance between comfort and sporty handling, with adaptive suspension settings.
E-Ray-Specific Tuning:
The suspension, brakes, and stability controls are calibrated specifically for the hybrid system, ensuring the E-Ray maintains its performance-oriented nature.
Performance Traction Management:
The E-Ray features several driving modes, including Tour, Sport, Track, Weather, MyMode, and Z-Mode, allowing drivers to tailor the car's dynamics to their preferences.
Exterior Design
Wide-Body Design:
Similar to the Z06, the E-Ray features a wider body for a more aggressive stance and improved handling.
Distinctive Styling Cues:
Unique badging and blue accents on the brake calipers and badging set the E-Ray apart from other Corvette models.
Aerodynamic Enhancements:
Includes a front splitter and rear spoiler for added downforce, with an optional Carbon Aero package available for even more aerodynamic benefits.
Interior and Technology
Driver-Centric Cabin:
Retains the premium materials and layout of the C8 Corvette, including sport seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and high-quality finishes.
Infotainment System:
Comes with an 8-inch touchscreen featuring Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and built-in performance data recorder.
Hybrid-Specific Displays:
The digital gauge cluster and infotainment screen include hybrid-specific information, such as battery status, power flow, and Stealth Mode activation.
Safety and Driver Assistance
Advanced Driver Assistance Features:
Standard features include automatic emergency braking, rearview camera, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
Enhanced Stability Control:
The AWD system improves traction and handling, especially in adverse weather conditions, providing an added layer of safety.
Driving Experience
All-Weather Capability:
The E-Ray's AWD system and adaptive suspension make it suitable for a range of driving conditions, from track use to daily commuting in various climates.
Enhanced Cornering:
The combination of the mid-engine layout and AWD offers improved cornering stability and grip compared to rear-wheel-drive Corvettes.
Pricing
Starting Price:
The 2024 Corvette E-Ray is expected to start at around $104,000, making it more affordable than some exotic competitors while offering comparable performance.
Optional Packages:
Additional features, such as carbon fiber trim, upgraded interior materials, and the Carbon Aero package, can push the price higher, depending on the configuration.
Conclusion
The 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray represents a groundbreaking evolution for the Corvette, merging hybrid technology with the traditional V8 power to deliver stunning acceleration and a unique driving experience. Its combination of all-wheel drive, hybrid performance, and iconic styling positions the E-Ray as a versatile sports car that’s not only capable on the track but also practical for everyday use. With its performance, design, and cutting-edge technology, the E-Ray expands the Corvette's appeal to a new generation of drivers looking for speed, innovation, and luxury.

Chevrolet Automobile Model 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray
I have always said Chevrolet was the best vehicles; but I was wrong. My next car will NOT be a Chevrolet. I bought a 2019 Chevrolet Malibu in 2020 with approximately 40,000 miles. In November of 2021 the car just died as I was driving. My mechanic finally discovered the issue. An electric modulator went out. Since I bought the car used, Chevrolet refused to cover the cost. Thanks Chevrolet for nothing. Won’t waste my money again.
Love my bolt. Easy to drive. No gas needed. Handles like a dream. Has a lot of great features especially the one pedal feature In the L drive position when you take your foot off of the excellent stir the car comes to a stop.
Our Chevy Suburban is black. It serves its purpose in transporting my family. I like that it has nine seats. I also like that it has a lot of trunk space to fit groceries, a stroller, sports equipment, etc. It has multiple cup holder for those days when we have drinks in the car. Overall, I am satisfied. However, I wish somehow that it had better gas mileage. Right now, gas mileage is terrible. I also dislike that the trunk door opens up. Id prefer a trunk door that opens sideways like the passenger door.
The GM Chevy brand speak for itself. Chevy has quality control, excellent performance to the customer that services it regularly. A Chevrolet vehicle will give nothing other than an excellent ride! To have & own one is a treat to never forget.
My Chevy is a sporty car and also known as a muscle car. They went away for quite a while and then the company decided to bring them back to compete in the market and it was successful. I like the overall sleek body and with all the curves. I had made a few upgrades myself and now the car looks amazing and is still very fun to drive. The color also makes the car look more mean and nasty. It is a low model though and not much of any features are in this car. I bought the base model because it was the cheapest option for me at the moment.
I would not recommend this company. All the GM support advisors do is schedule appointments, they dont care about your concern, nor do they care to get to the bottom of the actual problem. Ive had my 2019 Chevrolet Bolt EV for a year and a half now and Have had lots of electronics problems. They tell me they cant use a video to fix the issue that if its not malfunctioning at the time when its at the dealer, they wont fix it. Of course the car comes out of its bumper to bumper warranty by mileage and the entire infotainment fails and the other issues Ive complained about will finally get fixed at my extended warrantys expense and my $100 deductible. I call to speak with a senior advisor, they dont call back, they dont call when you tell them to call and will do what they want, when they want. This is the worst car company Ive ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Ive had Hondas, Fords, VWs and Chevy and Chevy has been the worst ownership experience ever.
The purchase of this SUV was record-breaking in that it was my first SUV and the newest vehicle I had ever owned. Within a year and a half I learned that GM believes that the engines in their vehicles can only be expected to last 5 years and that it is too bad, so sad that the engine in my vehicle stopped working. Anyone I spoke to found it inconceivable that a properly serviced vehicle would need to have the engine replaced at less than 100K miles.GM believes that since I did not have one of their dealers handle the repairs for my vehicles, there is nothing they can do as only their dealership can accurately diagnosis the cause of the engine failure and due to the age of the vehicle (barely 6 years old) it is solely my responsibility. The non-GM explanation as to the cause of the engine needing to be replaced was that the number one cylinder had grenaded damaging the electrode on spark plug.
My first car was a 1980 Camaro. Loved that car and wish I still had it, have had other vehicles that fell short of my expectations, and they were not chevys. I now have a Chevrolet cruze and I love this car and knock on wood no problems and have about 115000 miles on it. A Chevrolet is all I will ever buy.
This is my very first car purchase. A car that I fell in love with and built myself down to the features in this car. Car purchased 8/16/17 drove off the lot with 30mi on it. About a week after having the car it shut off on me and has been happening since. For a brand new car why is it shutting off intermittently? This car has been in and out of the shop since I got it. The dealership Carl Black of Kennesaw finally witnessed it after having my car for about a month in January and replaced the fuse block which they thought was the issue. 2 week after getting my car back it shut off on me again! Brought them the car back the following day for them to keep it for two weeks and put over 1000mi on it. This is beyond ridiculous. Chevy is telling me they cant buy my car back because its under warranty. But dont safety issues qualify my car as a lemon?! If this car dies on me on I-75 and I get into a car accident will GM/Chevrolet really want to deal with this type of lawsuit?
I enjoy my Chevrolet truck and it does what I need it for. The truck was replacing an SUV and I really needed something a little bigger so I could carry more thing. I like that the price was right and the gas mileage was something I could live with. I also like that it has cruise control, temperature can be regulated, and it has power windows. What I like the most is that it has a camera so you can see when you are backing up. But it does not have navigation installed. You have to buy it and I do not think that is something that you should have to pay extra for because the truck cost enough. Overall, my experience was very good.
Too bad GM killed this car. 2018 is the last year for the 6 speed manual. Not even available in the 2019, and now, GM thought it was a great marketing move to kill all of their cars that normal people can afford. My car has been very reliable, and on a recent Buffalo to Chicago trip, averaged nearly 50 MPG. It also has a great deal of useable power and torque with the manual box. A 1.3 litre turbo 4 is not the slug you might expect. I dont want an SUV or truck of ANY kind. I want a car thats fun to drive and handles well. Thats why GM is getting it back in a week when my lease is up - and isnt leasing me anything else. After leasing me my last 4 cars. Ive replaced it with a 21 year old car in excellent condition, which pays for itself in about a year of not making payments. Now I can buy something really fun instead - another motorcycle!
I really love my Trax. Its roomy, but not too big or not too small. The seats are so comfortable and the sound system makes me sit-down dance in that seat! Its also a very dependable vehicle. Ive had it for 2 1/2 years and it hasnt needed any maintenance other than the standard stuff. It still looks and feels brand new! It was love at first sight with this car. I love the lines because they give the vehicle a classy yet sporty look. The hatchback is wonderful when it comes to loading, and since its covered, my stuff is protected from the sun AND the thieves! While Im happy with it, I would like a bigger console storage compartment. Also, the USB plug-in is inside the glovebox, which doesnt work well for someone like me who keeps my phone charging at all times. It doesnt look pretty with that wire sticking out of my dashboard.
My experience with Rick Hendrick Chevrolet could care less in repairing your car, made errors and cover up. Because of our posting of poor service they now refuse to service the car. Want return calls. GM seem not to help.
I LOVE my 2013 Sonic Hatchback, but I HATE CHEVY MARKETING!!! Ive tried for 7 years to get off their mail list and they ignore EVERY Request!!! Ive already stopped using their service dept. I am SO SICK on getting their Certified Service mailings and they wont stop. Ive tried opting out by calling GMC, The Dealer and using the gmcontactpreferences dot com, but these arrogant jerks have ignored my requests for 7 YEARS!!! What a waste of paper. I am sure I scared the crap out of the last person to answer when I called AGAIN to get off the mailing list. Im selling a car I love, and switching to Honda!
I got this car from my mother who passed away and it has been awesome. I will never get rid of it even if it stops running. It was my moms. Some things mean more than anything. I feel she is watching over me when I drive this car.
Chevy silverado 2009 - $800 mirror replacement for a right front turn signal bulb out. A poor assembly in the right side mirror needed to be replaced to make a right turn signal, in the front only, work. Its GMs issue, no fault of mine. GMs consumer affairs is less than accountable. Out of warranty, yet no damage other than the wiring, and 60,021 miles. Proof in the mirror I have. They caused the issue, but its mine. Caveat Emptor.
I bought a 2018 Colorado ZR2 in April. Last night the oil cooler line failed. I called Roadside and they towed my truck to the dealer for repair. This is a common issue from what I see on many forums. I called the dealer and they told me they don’t have the part and wouldn’t be able to get one from Denver until Tuesday. I then called GM customer service to find out what they can be done. My situation, I’m from Las Vegas and I had to drive to Lander Wy to help out my mother and father. My father has to have surgery Monday. Earlier this week my mother was hospitalized and needed help to take care of my father and get him to his appointment on Monday. I drove up to help out and on Friday the oil line failed. I have to get him to his appointment and return to my family and job. I asked GM what could be done and they told me I could get a rental but I couldn’t leave the state. Expressed the gravity of the situation and they said they would have to get with the senior supervisor but he won’t be available until Monday. Unacceptable. He then told me he would patch me through to his supervisor and put me on hold. I have been on hold for an hour and a half so far. I have only owned GM products, this will be my last.
I like that my Chevrolet is a pickup truck. It was an affordable price, an individual sale, and what was needed for our home. Its a full size truck that we are able to haul the materials we need for home repairs, to use for work, and it also has the full back seat and third door so we can take the grandchildren to the park or out to eat. A good benefit when you only have one vehicle to use in your home. I wish it has a fourth door for when you are in a hurry, like when it might be raining and you need to get the children in the house quickly and they are trying to get out at the same time or when you have groceries that need to be brought in then and cant wait. And also, have a little more leg room. Other than that, its a good vehicle that serves me well
My husband and I purchased this vehicle after a car accident totalled our other one. Bought this car used and began noticing issues. We have had to replace the torque sensor which was $600 alone. Many Chevy vehicles were recalled for this issue. Today I get a letter in the mail telling me that the side impact airbag was recalled. But heres the catch, they will only replace it free of charge if its under 150,000 miles. The vehicle was over that when we bought the car! Airbag light has been on for some time now... I tried calling Chevy customer service and got nowhere. They asked me repeatedly what the letter said. So after reading it to them 4 times and being told there was no issue, yet Im holding the letter in my hands that I just opened. I hung up. This by far has been my worst car owning experience ever! I feel that there should be something in place for people that are buying these cars used, my safety is just as important as that of someone purchasing a brand new Chevy vehicle!
I bought a 2017 Chevy Colorado. I took it in for an oil change and rotation of tires. After I got the call that my vehicle was ready, I picked it up and was heading towards Ocala Florida and notice that my vehicle was rattling and swearing to the right. My wife told me move over to the right to take a look at why it was making such a rattling noise. She told me it sounds like you have a bad tire. I went to the medium and parked and took a look at the tires. The nuts and bolts were completely loose on all four tires. I was able to actually remove them with my hands. I called Ferman Chevrolet customer service and told them what happened and they wanted me to bring the vehicle back to them. I brought it back to them the following day because the car was not running right. The transmission seem to be making a noise and not changing shift. I took it to the dealership and they had to replace 3 of my tires and rims because they were damage from the time when I took it on the highway and the nuts and bolts were not tighten. They also flushed my transmission 3 times, because they noticed that there was a problem with my transmission. They told me that they had resolved the issue so I took my truck home. A few days later I started to notice that I was still having those transmission issues where it wasnt changing gears. I called GMC and filed a complaint against Ferman Chevrolet. They had me take my truck to another dealership to confirm the issues that I was having. The other dealership stated that it appear that it was a factory defect with the transmission. They claimed that they fix my issue. In 2 weeks later I was having the same problem. I called GMC and this time they didnt want to talk to me. I could not get anybody to help me with my truck that I had only had for 5 months. I did not have a choice because they werent willing to help me so I had to take a loss on the truck and trade it in for a Toyota Tacoma. I swore that I would never buy a GMC vehicle again. Be aware that this happened to me in a truck that was only 5 months old and had less than 5000 miles.
I dont drive much but its held up well despite being 15 years old now. It was a stylish car when purchased. I have had a good experience. Its been a sturdy and affordable car with only minimal repairs needed. This car has worked well for both city and country driving, for family trips and also as a great work car. Dependable, affordable to buy, to insure, and to repair, handles well during Iowas four seasons. However, the body paint hadnt worn the best, car does show some rust. But it has worked ok for family but on the small side for use with car seats and booster seats.
My car is 20 months old, has 19,800 miles and the engine blew up. I found two other cars in my immediate area that had similar problem with similar miles. I say there is a quality production problem.
The HHR doesnt hold up as I was led to believe. The look is good but very little power for acceleration. Paint is dulling and worn. 2 blind spots backing up.
Chevy Trax 2017 had problems since I bought it. Dealer management changed during process. Wanted them to take it back and get a different car, but they wouldn’t help me. Car pulls to the right so bad it will pull you off road. The service manager said they fixed it, but it’s worse than it was. Trax not comfy, it’s cheap, seats are foam, doesn’t flatten easy in back. Mpg good, but it’s so bouncy and noisy I can’t drive it far. Do not recommend Freeland Chevy or this car. Been Chevy owner many times - worst experience ever!
Have not had a major problem with this truck since I purchased it in 2009. I have a 2009 Chevy Colorado Truck. It runs smooth after 62,000 miles with no tune up. Love the on-star feature... no engine problems, handles very well on the road, feels and sounds like you going 50 miles per hr when you are actually going 70mph even now. Of course I keep the oil change and do regular maintenance on the car. My husband bought this truck new because he wanted something that a female could drive due to its midsize. He died a yr later and I decided to keep the truck and sell my car... Best decision I ever made.
My 2015 Chevy Trax has been great! Good gas mileage, plenty of room. Not a luxury car but it runs well and does very good in our western Pennsylvania winters. I have taken it on a few long trips and was able to keep up with traffic in all conditions in various parts of the u.s. The add works fantastic without the hassle of my old 4wd. I would buy it again.
Purchased a 2012 Chevy Suburban on Feb 4, 2012. Current mileage is approx. 19,170. Where should I start? The buying experience was of course easy and welcoming. However after that everything went downhill. The first problem I experienced was I found a lease paper in the truck with someone name on it. I do not know if I still have this paper or not. However the mileage in and out was not disclosed on the paper. I was told the vehicle had 10 miles on it. When I left the dealership and upon finding these papers I checked the trucks mileage it stated the truck had 160 miles on it not 10. I let it slide. The next issue was the metal piece inside the body stripping was rusting through the rubber. Rust was oozing out of this body stripping on all four doors. The truck was only 1 year old. I took the truck to the dealership I had purchased from. The service personnel at the dealership told me this isnt the rust belt nothing rust here it is just dirty water all Suburbans gets dirty water there. Knowing he was being smart I took the truck to a body shop. The body shop took photos and said this is warranty work. When the guy pulled the molding apart rusty water spewed out at him. I stated, Try getting that done down at Chevy so I want you to fix it. He stated he would be glad to fix it but he wouldnt charge me he would charge Chevy since it was warranty work and each of these door strips cost 120 dollars plus. He said he would call me. Several hours later my phone was blowing up with calls from the dealer. Come to find out the dealership doesnt have a body shop and that shop does paint and body work for them. Well Chevy reps were going crazy. They asked me to bring the truck in to inspect it again. So I did. The manager of the service department stated to me, I could blame this on you but you take too good care of this truck. He was infuriated with me to say the least. I told him what his employee said to me and he was even more livid. It took a total of 3 to 4 weeks before they called me with the new molding to install in the truck. After all that nonsense a year later that molding was also starting to rust. This is because Chevy doesnt seal the molding and there is a slit where the piece join and water gets down in there from washing the truck and such. The next issue I was having troubles {and still do} with my tranny getting up to 195 degree temps driving in the city in the summer. I do not tow with this truck. The running temps of these trannys are 175. These Suburbans run hot. So I decided I would order an auxiliary external tranny cooler. When I went to the same dealership to get it installed I sat there for 4 hours before they came and told me, The part wouldnt fit we tried every way possible to get it to fit and it wont. Why were you trying to force the wrong part to fit my truck, I asked. They didnt respond. Come to find out these Suburbans can take two different tyranny coolers one cheaper and the one for my truck a whopping 374 dollars. The cheaper one is about 100 dollars. Thats not including installation. I said forget it and walked off. One time I had looked up a part online and it stated the sale price and the normal price. When I went to that dealership they did not charge me the sale price but the full price for a part that was on sale. The next issue we had a cold winter in 2014/15 and the beginning of 2015 my OEM battery died. I called Chevy roadside they were the best so far. The truck being under extended warranty major guard a 2500 dollar warranty. Knowing it did not cover the battery but I had to go to the dealership to get the truck serviced because of warranty. I called the dealer and they were too busy to put a battery in my truck. There is only 2 Chevy dealers in town and both stink. So I digress I drove the truck the next 6 days on that jump then it died again. Chevy roadside came out again and jumped it told me the cells were about all dead. I drove to that same dealer. Meanwhile my volts were jumping everywhere from 17 down to 13 up to 16 down to 12. I was scared the truck was going to shut off. At the dealership the service rep said that battery wasnt under warranty and I agreed since the bumper to bumper was expired. I asked for a ACDelco gold to be installed. A 200 dollar battery. The dealer was having a battery sale so it was a little cheaper. Sitting in the waiting room, I had been up for 20 hours, the same guy comes and tells me the mechanic thinks the battery is under warranty so we are trying to charge it. That shows you how these people treat warranty work. Trying to recharge a battery that over half the cells are dead its not a wise move. I snapped at the guy and said, Hey I thought we agreed that battery isnt under warranty and I asked for a new battery so why wasnt it put in so I can go? Finally after 3 long hours I got the new battery. Its weird because every time Chevy roadside sends someone to jump my truck they look for the battery on the drivers side and when not finding it there think someone stole my battery. My battery is located on the passenger side and I have an empty slot for a second battery. So Im wondering if these trucks need two batteries when towing. I digress. That was the last time I went to that dealership. Since I have replaced my OEM battery my truck has other problems. My daytime running lamps work off and on. Two months dont work then one magical week will. Another problem when I turn my A/C on this terrible vrrr noise from under the hood and my volts plummet very quickly. I just sit and watch the volts plummet down to 12. I have to turn off the A/C then the volts go back up. Other times there is a 50/50 chance the volts will either read 14.2 or they rise up to 16. Before the OEM battery went out my volts always read 14.2. Now GM tries to tell me the voltage regulator isnt correct? It read 14.2 for three years. Its correct. I guess another battery is being fried. I can go to the store, park, turn off, come back out 40 minutes later turn on and automatically the volts are 16 and will stay there the whole 30 minute trip home. No phone or laptop charging etc. So there is no extra load on the voltage regulator. Come out the next day turn on and drive the volts will be 14.2.Next trip volts are soaring. So I went to GMC. I told them about it. I asked them to check my alternator. After checking the alternator they told me there was nothing wrong with it and they said there is a TSB on these trucks that they will do this. I called Chevy themselves and Chevy asked for my VIN number. I gave it and Chevy said that the TSB was not attached to my VIN. So remember TSBs are attached to VIN numbers and not all models. This is what Chevy told me. However Chevy did nothing to help me with either one of their dealerships to get these problems fixed.I had enough of their lack of customer service. They only seem to care about getting that 50,000. They dont make them like they used to. Right after my bumper to bumper expired in 2015, after that cold snap, I noticed I have the infamous cracked dash. On the left side of my passenger airbag. Then just this January after the temps got down to 28 I noticed one night my dash was bowed inward and had actually came apart from its own seam. The part by the windshield is now loose. It appears to me these dashes cannot take temperature fluctuations. My dash had contracted from the cold and was literally bowed downward to where I could easily place my finger under the dash part by the windshield. This part of my dash contains a sensor I believe its for the lights on the truck. I read on the internet that apparently at one time Chevy was trying to blame the dashes cracking because people using Armor all. Well Chevy I got some news for you I DO NOT USE Armor all. I pay the 16 to 18 bucks plus tax for the ACDelco tire dressing. A Wisconsin lawsuit alleges GM knows about this defect. According to the suit, GM hired a company to see if common cleaning products like Armor all were to blame. See I buy GM products to clean a GM product. I use the detailer, carpet cleaner and this ACDelco tire dressing all are sold at the dealerships. These products did not keep my dash from cracking nor my running boards fading to gray. So which is defective their dashes or their cleaning products? Buyer beware! The Chevy dealerships and the one GMC I dealt with were kissing face to get that paper in their hand but when business got real they never helped me get my truck fixed. Dont let Chevy tell you that your dash is cracking cause Armor all. I purchase about 2 to 3 bottles of this Tire Dressing stuff a year plus use a sun visor. The product does not keep running boards from fading and cannot keep a defective dash from cracking. Its good for leather seats though. So I use GM product that states will help prevent dashes from cracking and my dash cracks and splits and comes apart. Now a new dash plus labor around 1300 for a replacement 2007 2012 dash. The same dash? Thing will crack again probably and if it does then I would have spent 433.33 a year for three years before the cracks return or 260 a year for 5 years before the dash cracks again. Thats more a year for a dash than regular maintenance. If it was a 20,000 dollar automobile I would expect such things. Chevy always brags about exquisite quality. This is not that at all. Too much heartache, grief and nonsense over this truck and its needs. I have included photos. One of them you will see the body molding and if you look closely you can see a rust line on the paint coming from it. 88865221 - GM/AC Delco Vinyl, Rubber and Tire Dressing - 16 oz. I cannot get my truck fixed with the 2500 dollar warranty I bought from Chevy since the dealerships throw a fuss about warranty work and dont seem to like to do so. This ACDelco tire dressing did not prevent or help prevent my dash from cracking nor keep my running boards from fading to grey. This truck seems to have some sort of electrical problem and I dont trust driving it anymore. I do not recommend paying 50,000 for this truck. If Consumer Affairs would like to see anymore photos or receipts please let me know. Thank you.
Does Chevrolet know they have the worst possible service department ever! General Motors have to re-think their products because you can get service if you need because all the service departments I have been to all have poor service. The truck I purchase is a good looking truck but it always has something wrong with it. I believe theyre selling lemons. Dont buy Chevrolet by GMC.
The initial quality of my Avalanche was great. Then the bottom fell out. At 30,000 miles the inner workings of my dashboard had to be replaced. At 50,000 miles the engine had to be replaced. But before those things happened, I was in and out of the shop while GM was repairing those items piecemeal. Now at 130,000, it’s running better than it ever has, ”after tons of repairs“!
First 2015 Chevrolet Dually Duramax shut down in Sept 2016. Driver fueled up, drove about 20 to 40 miles, trucks fuel filter light came on, truck stopped on interstate. As of 01/09/2017, truck is not fixable and still in shop. Loan company have called to come get it. I cannot fix it and cannot pay for it. This is one of three trucks I have for running freight on flatbeds. My trucks have to run to make payments. Second 2015 Chevrolet Dually Duramax shut down in the exact same manner, right down to fueling and driving a little way, and stopping. Metal shavings found in fuel system. This will put my small trucking business out of business. NOTE Both trucks bought at the same time, from same dealer, and drove off the lot the same day.
50k SUV I can’t drive - We bought a brand new 2019 Tahoe LT in late October of this year. Around 3 weeks ago we started experiencing serious electrical issues with the vehicle. While trying to leave a store, got message of “reduced steering assist drive with care”. Vehicle would not go in reverse and steering wheel would not move so it had to be towed. Vehicle was working again at dealer and Dealership couldn’t replicate issue. Had it back one day and it started doing it again so we videoed it when it wasn’t functional and it went back to dealer. It’s been in and out of shop going on 3 weeks- longer than we have even owned the vehicle. It appears there is some sort of serious electrical issue with these vehicles and we are not sure the dealer will buy it back- which is what we want. Buyer beware.
I was able to buy a brand new Chevy truck with several upgrades with a 12k sale in effect, allowing me to turn my negative equity in a horrible diesel jeep into my truck loan and walk away with a great rig that fits the whole family, hauls the hay, handles amazingly in the snow with seat and steering wheel heaters for the frigid Central Oregon Winters. Great hauler on the camping trips with camper in tow. Its sporty and tough and at sale price came in at only 36k. Amazing deal, amazing dealership at Chevy of Bend. Love my truck.
I had an experience at a Chevrolet Dealership this past Friday morning 12/9/2016 at around 8 am that I have never had in my life. I was floored by the way I was treated. On my way to Jacksonville FL from Lagrange, Ga my car began to hesitate and sputter. I was in the middle of nowhere and it was still dark outside. I was 24 miles from the nearest town and Chevy dealership. I putted into that town and made it to the Chevy dealership service department. I went in and told them that I have a 2002 Chevy Prizm with 240,000 miles and its hesitating and sputtering when I accelerate. The service writer looked at his coworker at the desk beside him and they laughed. He looks at me and says your car is too old and has too many miles so we cannot even look at it. I said you cant even look at it? He said we wont look at it. He then gave me a card of a 3rd party mechanic in town and told me that the guy there should be able to take care of it for me. I have had this vehicle for 14 years and have been a Chevy customer for 14 years. I have never before experienced anything like this. What can be done?
Purchased the 2016 Trax in April of 2016. Since then it has been in the shop 6 times for 3 different issues; which the service department still has not fixed. They also lied many times about fixing the issues and also just recently scammed both myself and the insurance company. This dealership is not to be trusted as they lied to me about the quality of the car when I purchased it. There are manufacturer defects in the car as well. This dealership and the manufacturer have done NOTHING to resolve these major issues with this car. Now; they wont even talk to me. They have basically washed their hands off me without actually taking care of the problem.
If anyone thinking about buying a Chevy, maybe you should give it a second thought. My radio quit, been trying, for a month, to buy a new one. Now before you get ahead of me you have to know that a radio is no longer just a radio. My radio (Chevy Sonic) makes all the noises for signal lights, seat belt chime, door ajar, oil pressure, overheat, stop engine, keys left in ignition and maybe some stuff I dont know about. You set all the stuff the car does: Rear wiper, lights on when leave and a dozen other stuff. ALL OF THE ABOVE NO LONGER WORKS. 3 years old and I cannot buy a radio, dont have them, farmed out to another company, back ordered for??? Called a US dealer (just across from me). He said last time he ordered one of them took 6 months. Thought I would buy used, cant. They are tied to your VIN number. Oh, and by the way, the price installed (they have to install, gotta use GM computer) has varied from $1300.00 to $617.50. But because I cannot buy one have not spent any money. DOES GM care, nope, they just tell you the dealer (not you of course) must order and wait. IMPRESSIVE HUH!
I love my Chevy, the model, and everything about it. It is good on gas and very reliable and thrusts easy to get around with lots of room. It is a great family car and great for kids. It also has a good price.
This car (2017 Spark) sucks. The user manual is terrible, doesnt explain many things like how to store a radio station, use the rear seat belts. I cant find a way to connect the seat belts in the back seat. No leg room, radio is complicated to operate and is distracting when trying to switch bands/station while driving. Dont go to this dealership. Find another. No car dealer is honest, but there must be better. I regret going there and getting this car.
I got a Chevy Equinox back in 2019. Never owning one was nervous but soon found out it was one of the better vehicles I have owned, normal maintenance was always done, ran awesome, also I was hit on the side and that vehicle took a good amount of force, the equinox has very good safety in them also, it was eventually totaled due to damage, was very sad when I heard that, already getting another one, I do alot of camping and you can fit so much different size stuff in one, I love those SUVs and everyone I have known to have one say the same thing. They loved theirs.
So I just bought a 97 Chevy Lumina with about 86,000 miles on it and my ** made the mistake of mixing the original red coolant with the standard green coolant you get literally everywhere. Now my coolant is the outside weather and I have to drain that crap out and replace it with the green stuff since it is apparently safer than what the manufacturer provides. Bit of a miracle that I got a 97 Lumina under a hundred thousand miles in 2019 so Im not going to destroy it with bad coolant. With the mixture, the car now raises its temperature rapidly at a stoplight and Im going to have to drain that stuff before Winters end. Fortunately the temperature quickly goes back to normal once the car moves.
I think Chevrolet manufactures in my opinion, a decent line of vehicles. There is pros and cons to every car manufacturer and for the value Chevrolet does make a dependable long lasting vehicle. There are so many variables to that statement too that I also think it can be a toss up or luck whether yours will be included in that group of being long lasting or dependable!
It no coincidence that owning two GM Trucks with the same 5.3 engines has failed on me. 1st 2011 Tahoe camshaft failed due to oil consumption. 2nd 2016 Truck Ticking due to the lifters went bad from the AFT. Chevrolet has bulletin not known to the public and will not fix these problems. Had I not had extended warranties I would be hit with the cost and GM known about this defects among their engines.
There nothing like a Chevy for dependability, comfort, quality, good looks, and something to be proud to drive. We have always owned Chevys, and or any GM product. You cant go wrong with choosing a Chevrolet.
I truly enjoy my Chevy sportscar. Maintenance is key to keeping vehicles in working order and I keep to maintenance schedule. Because my car requires OEM parts, I work closely with Service Writers at the Dealership Service Centers. I am not a fan of paying for diagnostics more than once for any issue, although the dealer will attempt to charge me repeated diagnostic fees. Last time I took my car to the dealership for an oil change, the salesman made an offer to buy my car on the spot. It was a very uncomfortable situation because he would not take no for an answer.
I absolutely love the Chevrolet vehicle. It has been an amazing car for me. It has been very useful and I havent had any issues out of it. Its a great all-terrain vehicle. I can get anywhere I need to with the Four-wheel drive. I also love all the room it has inside so that I can haul anything I need to. Favorite vehicle ever Ive owned.
I have a 2013 Chevy Trax, recently I had trouble with losing power on a trip to the city. When I got to the city the check engine light came on. I checked the oil and it was down 3 litres. Which I bought and put in. I immediately brought the car to a trusted mechanic who informed me there is a special warranty on this, because it is a known problem, but I have to take it to a certified Chevy dealer to get it fixed. The problem is a PCV valve on the interchange cooler freezes off when temperatures go below -18. Well we live in Alberta so that’s a constant. Anyway because we took it to the other mechanic first the certified Chevy dealer refused to fix the problem stating, I can’t prove it. The ice is melted off. Never again will I buy any Chevy product, phoned their head office and more of the same runaround.
Purchased a Chevy trax last year and its one of the best cars Ive ever owned. Good on fuel and plenty of room even for my dogs. Not a lot of truck space. I would recommend this vehicle especially to older people due to the good mileage it gets on a full tank.
I always loved pickup trucks and it features four-wheel drive and weather resistant tires as well and state of the art heating and air conditioning. Also the tires are great. It has been reliable and fuel efficient too. The total price has been reasonable as well as the payments. And the color is simple and exciting. When buying the vehicle the staff was extremely helpful. But I dont like the eroding the paint gets from the salt on the road during weather. I also dislike the radio which is oversimplified and doesnt get a good signal.
I have enjoyed the Chevy Trax. I like the up to date technology and the seats. I have had no issues whatsoever about the car except that it has no CD player and the windshield has cracked in three places.
One owner, one person, great little car for road trips or bobbing around in the city, cheap on gas whether in the city or on road. The most people I would take in a car this size would be 2 people. Great for someone going to college for touring around. I have owned a 1979 Chevette and all I can say is it was the best car I have ever own.
We have bought several trucks for our lawn service and the Chevy has been the most reliable, comfortable and best looking. We are considering buying another Chevrolet Silverado in the near future. The Silverado seems to be the most solid and stable truck we have ever owned. The new Chevrolet Silverados are very nice to look at as well, very stylish and modern. The safety of the Silverado was a huge concern as well since we use the truck to tow our camper and our grandchildren in the summer.
My Chevy Cavalier ran for fifteen years, it was a 1990 and a beautiful red. It was the best car I ever own, I have had many Chevys, that was my main car. Such a reliable car, and the many features, was so wonderful. I love my car, it never let me down, it perform excellent in all kind of weather. My cost was 7499, in 1991 well worth as penny.
No vehicle is completely wonderful. But with the stop and go torture mine goes through it is real good. My Venture has tons of space for all my crafting supplies and even though it is 15 years old it gets at 20 miles per gallon and has good get up and go! Nice quiet, smooth ride and handles well in lousy weather.
The Chevy Sonic LTZ Turbo 2015 gets great gas mileage. Its reliable, its small and in the backseat area it has a video player in radio. It also has bluetooth radio connections. I have had a few repairs but nothing major. Though I would like it to have more radio features, more room, dual AC and sunroof. They could also make OnStar GPS bigger when doing directions, make it easier to play videos on the TV, have a CD player loader, horn, armrest on passenger side and cup holders in back air vents in back. But other than those, I like the OnStar and XM radio. I also like that its a hatchback, has touchscreen radio, Pandora and USB port. It is easy to use radio and app for car information on gas mileage, oil mileage, turn car on and off and tire pressure diagnostics.
The Chevy Sonic is a small car but it is one real good car and I love it a lot because it is really nice to have it. I like that the car has crews and wipers and good display for the settings. It also has good seating that was really cool.
I currently have a 2004 Silverado 1500, a dream of many years. Aside from the general maintenance of any vehicle (breaks and the likes) this truck is AMAZING! I give, as an example: about a year ago, I was about 50 miles from home when the coolant line sprung a leak! Id noticed a small puddle under the vehicle when I came out of the store where Id been shopping, but thought it was condensation. On the drive back, through some rather rural area, I noticed a slight increase on the temperature gauge so I drove with care not to over-exert the engine. Taking the truck immediately to the mechanic, they opened the reservoir for the coolant to find it completely dry! Repairs were made and subsequently I learned that these vehicles have a protection against over-heating! It saved my day, my purchases, my sanity, to be sure. This truck, even at its age, has been a blessing, helping me move house, hauling brush and wood, its amazing in snow, and I live in a mountainous region in Northern New York state where Winters can be quite brutal. As for the rating given about the cost, quite honestly, I find the cost of motor vehicles these days to be rather unreasonable over all. But even for the basic Silverado, I would say, considering the peace of mind and safety, Ive experienced with mine, the price is reasonable. Could be better (lower of course), but as is: perfectly reasonable. I recommend the model to everybody, even those who think trucks are out of their personal style. Drive one, youll be stuck forever.
I love the mileage I get on my Chevy Cruze, and the standard safety features including the backup camera. I wish the trunk was a little bigger, and Im not a huge fan of the new tendency towards the fancy cans of fix a flats instead of actual spare tires. Im sure it would be great to plug a slow leak but it wasnt very helpful when I had a blow out on the freeway!
For a 2019 Camaro rs. 1 drl is out. Chevy needs to replace the full light. $1800.00 for a light. American. Foreign here I come. I see why they are not selling. Gouging for a light. Its a safety device.
I was ripped off. On several occasions I was told I needed work done and I asked isnt that covered under my warranty and was told no each time. A year later, a 5th time in was told the same thing, I found out all the work was covered under my warranty. I had to fight to get my money back and they did nothing extra for me for what they put me through.
I love my Chevrolet Malibu. Its been a great car. Gets pretty good gas mileage and has a lot of power and seats 5 passengers. It is 20 years old and runs like a top.
It gets me where I need to go, no matter what the weather. It goes in summer and winter with no problems. When a Dodge truck got stuck in the driveway in winter my husband use the Chevrolet to push it out. Even though it sat for a long time before being bought it needed very little done to it. It has always been dependable.
Bought used, not Happy with the finance company they stuck us with, Ally. Other than that, the vehicle has proven itself for mileage and safety, 2014 cruze, great car. Very happy with the car itself.
My. 2005 Chevy Silverado is asked to do many things including hauling a 3200lb camper around 7 months of the year. The truck is dependable. And I always feel safe even in heavy winds, rough mountain roads or on the Freeway.
I bought my car used. It was in good shape and had low mileage. I really like the pick up. It has being turbo charged. The dashboard has everything you need right there in front of you. The back up camera comes in handy also.
I bought a used Chevy Traverse from Smith Chevrolet in Laurens. This vehicle was in perfect condition to the eye. SALESMAN SAID BEST USED VEHICLES HE HAD. At 123054 miles I had to replace the engine. After a few months the locks would just start locking and unlocking while you were sitting at an idle. Then it started running very bad so I had it put on the machine. Nothing showed up so mechanic said maybe throttle body so I replaced that. Then it would not crank. I could hear stereo and lights work but would not crank. I had it towed to Riverside in Laurens. They replaced the brain on the engine said its running good. I picked it up. Drove back to work. When I got off it would not crank. Had it towed back to Riverside. Jay said that it had nothing to do with the new brain and he was beyond making any money on it. I paid $1099.80 for that brain so I paid for any work done. Took vehicle back to man that put motor in. Ask him to check behind his work. Still everything is fine per the mechanic but I get it home and again it will not crank. On January 22 2019 this vehicle was towed to another shop and it is still there as of today 5/18/19. YES 4 MONTHS. I bought this vehicle for $15000 and have over $25000 in it and still cant even drive it to trade it. I Will not buy another Chevrolet. And thats sad because I think Chevrolet has some nice looking vehicles but if you cant depend on them or get them fix they are not worth having. I ask for an appointment at Newberry Chevrolet back in January before I took to this last shop but they were to call back and so far I have not heard from them with an appointment.
My Tahoe LTZ is all and more they said it would be. It is very stylish and beautiful. It has snap when you press on the gas at zero and even snap at 60 miles per hour. There is plenty of room for 6 people but I will say that the 2 sitting in the very back need to be agile or of the younger generation. Overall, I love my Chevy Tahoe LTZ. I would buy another one all over again.
The Chevrolet HHR was an OK summer car and its cute. Bought it brand new and it had thousand miles on it and the engine doing nothing but problems with our body. Ive never buy a Chevrolet ever again and I would not recommend it to any other person that Im post to friends or family. It was complete garbage. I would definitely improve the motor aspects of the car itself in the whole body. It was very weak and needed much replacements during the time Ive had it. But other than that, the seats are comfortable and clean. The radio was nice and I love the bass and the option to change the sound for each song if needed.
I think my car has good value, but it doesn’t stand up to other Asian and European auto makers. The quality of my car has diminished greatly in the years I’ve had it. I’ve had to do many repairs on it and they have been very costly. In comparison my mom bought a Mitsubishi the same year as me and hers has had minimal repairs.
My 2016 Chevy Sonic LT is a really good stable Vehicle. That year specific is the best model and configuration. The MyLink Radio is wanting as it does not have Android Auto... It was the only MyLink that year that did not get the new system. But all in all the sound is amazing. Control above and beyond. Windshield curve is an issue with rain but driving is safe. AAA+
Never take the Dealership extended warranty on any car: They will do as little as possible, to the extent of blatantly making ridiculously accusations that actually insult your intelligence while looking you straight in the eye!!! They must be trained at this! Most of the time they try to insinuate that youre at fault and you should pay for the repair! Or the problem is a figment of your imagination! Not just with GMC/Chevy, Also w/ Honda. Most vehicles are built well enough to just get them pass their extended warranties! All in all my GMC 3500 extended Savanna van has given my family and I two wonderful trips From Jersey to Key Largo towing two Wave runners, Full Scuba equipment for three, Fishing poles and tackle! We removed the seat behind the front seats out to give us more room for traveling (great idea!!!). My friends l take on fishing and golf trips seats six w/ one sleeping in the rear seat!!! The one in the rear seat love it!!!
I love the Chevy Tracker. I have owned 3 of them. The first 2 were automatic and this one is a standard. I like the standard better. I have traveled all over the country in one and had no issues whatsoever. I would definitely suggest buying one especially if you like to go camping and you drive down a lot of dirt roads. The four wheel drive is my favorite feature. I also like that it is small and that the back seats come down for a larger storage area. The car is also super durable. Just do the normal upkeep and it will run forever.
I got the Chevrolet for cheap and was in need of a vehicle. The parts are not expensive and easy to find as well. And Vermont is where I live and there are plenty of Chevy dealers around and mechanics dont mind working on Chevys so thats a plus. Everyone loves American made cars. Cheap and easy. The car stereo is not very great though. And there is nothing electric about the car. The windows even have manual rollers on them. The windshield wipers kind of are not very good either but that doesnt really have to do with the model car. The wheel baron is going and that sucky. It has minor problems like the window and door wont open but the rust under it I dislike the most. Still, it has been one of the best cars I have owned even though its old. It has lasted me much longer than I thought it would. If I had to drive a Chevy again I would definitely choose a Chevy over many other car models out there. The engines on Chevys like to run for miles and miles.
I love my Chevy Silverado 4x4 truck. I am a realtor and it is so comfortable when I go to show houses. Does not matter if I am driving in the city or highway, no more back pain at all. This full-size truck has spacious interior and exterior and strong V8 engines. I think the Silverado has a nicer interior and it also rates slightly better for reliability than other trucks. It is very quiet and rides great. Nice tight ride and handling. The biggest change for me is the mileage. Real-world driving city and highway on the very first tank 17.5 mpg. The best so far was 21.8! I will never look at another truck again, I am a Chevy girl for life!!!!
I purchased the Malibu brand new with 52 miles in March 2016. The first 6 months was good. The gas mileage did not meet what was specified but it wasnt bad. Towards the end of the year my car wouldnt start after stopping at a local grocery store. I had to wait till 2 hours later for it to mysteriously cut back on. Once it did the air was stuck on high and the radio wouldnt come on. Took it the following Monday to the dealership that determined the computer needed a reboot. Everything was fine for a few more months then the car cut off again. This time the dealership could not find anything. The car continued to cut off randomly at times while driving. Each time two different Chevrolet dealerships could not find the problem or cause. I am concerned for my safety as this occurs while driving. This makes me rethink and question the brand Chevrolet.
I have had a lot of issues with my Chevy from the radio to shaking to Other problems. Very disappointed in this vehicle. The dealership was no help with the issues considering I spent a whole took Lot OF Money. They do not stand by their product.
Worst car I have ever owned. Problem after problem. Just around 100,000 miles and already have replaced so much on this car. Thousands of dollars!!! Water pump, o2 sensor, spark plugs, coil packs, fuel injectors, engine valves, blower motor for AC, timing chain, front hub, goes through brakes and rotors almost yearly. Will tell everyone I know never to buy a Chevy!!!
Reliable, smooth-riding, very little road noise, good fuel economy, plenty of interior space, has high resale value and can be repaired anywhere in North America. Well-engineered turns heads and prompts many conversations.
Chevy sucks. Bought my 2016 Chevy Trax in September 2015. Its been well maintained. At the 59,000 mile mark, the steering wheel locks up and the engine powers down with no warning, ESC lights comes on and the car loses acceleration. Took it to 1 dealer who keeps it for 4 weeks when they figure its a module. I brought it to my regular mechanic who has a relationship with another Chevy dealer so I could save on labor, they have it for ANOTHER 4 weeks. And still with the savings, it cost me $1120 for this repair on top of the $218 I paid for the original diagnostic. I finally get the car back, have it for a day and its the same problem! They replaced the battery, and STILL the problem is still occurring and the dealer cannot figure out what is wrong. This is Chevys crappy product! Nothing in the normal wear and tear of car ownership should have me shelling out all this money when I bought it brand new and have had it for 3 1/2 years. Ive made 3 car payments in the last 90 days and still dont have a car to drive. I WILL NEVER BUY A CHEVY AGAIN!
My 2016 Chevy Malibu rides smooth like whipped cream butter. Best car I have ever owned. It came with OnStar, wi-fi capability, handsfree dialing, and rearview back up camera.
My experience driving the car was awesome. The car met every expectation. I would recommend the equinox for a family just starting out or who have two kids. Great road trip car. Very smooth ride.
We purchased a brand new Chevrolet Tahoe from Koon’s Chevrolet of White Marsh, MD in 2018. It now has 31,000 miles on it. We drove an hour to this dealership multiple times even though we could’ve bought 1 closer to home because we had loyalty to the sales person who spent all of the time with us. There was nothing better about the price etc. With owning our own business we understand the importance of time & commission. As of June 30th, it had 3 issues: 1. Air conditioner was not working. 2. Thump sound coming from under drivers side area when driving3. Peeling paint on an area where bumper meets side panelWe drove it out of town for the 4th of July holiday & the AC wasn’t working. I called & scheduled service on July 5 for a July 8 appointment. I explained to guy in service what the issues were & that I had tried to take it for the paint to another dealership closer to home & they advised that I would need to go to a dealership with a body shop & that Koons had 1 since that is where I had bought the car so when I made the appointment I notified of them of all of this & requested a loaner car since it would probably be a couple of day fix if it was paint related. They said OK & transferred me to the call center to make the appointment. I mentioned many times that I expected these things to be covered under warranty. At no time did anybody say they wouldn’t be or that my car was out of warranty. My husband takes the morning away from our business to drive the car an hour away for the services. Upon arrival at Koons, without even trying to be helpful or offering other avenues the service advisor (Charlie) was immediately snarky & couldn’t wait to tell my husband that the car was out of warranty & we would have to pay for the loaner & diagnostic fee & that any repair would be out of pocket because we were 11 days out of warranty even though mileage was low. When I made the appointment we were 3 business days out of warranty. This immediately upset us. My husband said, Isn’t there anything you can do? And the advisor said, No you’ve never even used us before why would I help you. Which actually is inaccurate. Koons repaired things on our car & did an oil change or two. However a car with 31,000 miles shouldn’t need many services so of course we hadn’t used you for anything else why would we. So here we are the first time we really need assistance after buying a very expensive car from Koons & we are treated this way. We own a business that deals with warranties and manufacturers nonstop. We have to service & warranty units that we did not install. We’ve made exceptions for customers. We always go above & beyond. We have a 5 star rating. Chevy does the same. Nobody even ever offered to try & help us or call GM or anything. As a Cadillac owner I know the lengths that my local dealership has went through for me even though I did not buy the car through them. So I told my husband to ask for the manager & try to get the same level of service that we’ve had with our prior vehicle through Cadillac. While he did that I called Chevy. I spoke with a great advisor & received a case ID & filed my complaint. I got everything taken care of on the phone with somebody that we had not spent a dollar with. That’s customer service.Meanwhile my husband is wasting time debating the level of customer service we deserve with your manager (Dan) after having quite the discussion with your advisor. The advisor was arrogant & unhelpful. The manager wasn’t very helpful either but at least he wasn’t that arrogant & rude. My husband drove the car back to our local dealer who picked up the case & fixed everything & helped us get it covered. Yes the dealership that we did not give the business of a car sale to was the one that ended up helping us so guess who gets our business going forward. Jeff D’Ambrosio that’s who. Koons dealership isn’t even a 1 on the scale, it’s -5. Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever had from a car dealer or mechanic shop anywhere.
I have had several sub-compact SUVs and the Trax is one of the better ones. It has a good ride, handles well, and has enough of power. Good full mileage for an AWD vehicle. Price is in the ballpark with the competition. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone in the market for a sub-compact AWD.
Chevy would only tow 25 miles for roadside assistance tow, I find this very unpleasant. Many other brands offer roadside towing and as long as it goes to a branded dealership for service, they dont care if its more than 25 miles, of course I dont expect them to tow it 500 miles but when the dealership within 25 miles says that they cannot take the vehicle for service before a week, I think its a valid reason to use a dealership which is 13 miles more than 25, and roadside should cover, its one of the reasons ill never buy chevy again, on top of the reason that the water pump blew after 16 months and less than 20k miles.
I purchased my 2014 Chevrolet Equinox used and havent had any problems. I get regular oil changes and service checks to prevent unexpected issues. Winter driving is great. Handle and wheel control is outstanding. I went for service recently and a salesman tried to convince me to trade it for a newer model.
I own a 15 Chevy Colorado and I love this truck! It’s comfortable and is like a big truck without the added expense. It has been extremely reliable! It actually exceeded our expectations. Absolutely no complaints.
My 2019 Chevy High Country has been a nightmare. Within my 1 st week owning my High Country I began to experience transmission problems. It would shift very hard between gears 3-5 up and down. I got hold of my dealer, Reliable Chevrolet in Springfield Mo, informed them of the issue, a shop foreman took a ride with me and Agreed it was not right. We set an appointment for one week out, I thought this strange to wait a week for such a serious defect, the truck got much worse during the week. I then took truck in, after 2 days I called to check on it. The dealer had not even looked at the truck, I expressed my extreme displeasure in this, my truck is my work truck and need all my tools to do my job as a home builder. I then thought it important to contact Chevy, I called customer care, they opened a case # and said a specialist would call within two days, 3 & 1/2 days later they had still not called. In the meantime I learned the truck I traded in was still at dealership, I called them and Chevy customer care and stated I am extremely unhappy with my brand new $65,000 truck having transmission issues within the first three weeks of ownership and wanted to unwind the deal. I would buy my old truck back and give them back their lemon truck that I had purchased, Reliable Chevrolet refused to not sell the trade truck, Chevy customer care, stated they would reach out to Reliable Chevrolet and see if they can help us get this resolved. In the meantime Reliable Chevrolet finally got my truck in to service and said it needed a brand new transmission. They contacted Chevrolet and they agreed and said they were shipping a new transmission. Would take 2 to 3 days for it to arrive & another day to install it.I called in in three days later to check and see if they had received the transmission only to find out that Chevrolet engineers had change their mind and said it needed a modulator part to work correctly. I was very displeased because as stated above they told me to continue to drive the truck for a week, it’s smoked, I could smell the transmission oil burning, and the hardness of the shifting had to be doing permanent damage to the truck. I have been a loyal customer of Chevrolet, for all of my personal truck and my company vehicles for employees have been Chevrolet’s. In the last 10 years I’ve purchased 25 brand new Chevrolet trucks. With my experience from this 2019 Chevrolet High Country, and the way I was treated by Reliable Chevrolet Springfield Missouri, and the very poor customer service from Chevy customer care who never did call me back until after week after Reliable Chevrolet returned my truck, I will never again purchased a Chevrolet vehicle or deal with Reliable Chevrolet in Springfield Missouri. My best advice is Buyer beware. My only voice With a large corporation like Chevrolet and this dealership which is very large in six states, is my buying power, they will no longer enjoy my business or have me or my company as customers, I have always spoken very highly of Chevrolet and actually argued with Ford owners about quality and service and brand loyalty, no more.
I really wanted a Jeep and bought one. For the three month that I had it was broke down more than I drove. They kept fixing it until the guy said it was enough so they offered me a Equinox. It drives nice, it’s good on gas, the only thing is I’ve went from a eight cylinder to a four, big difference! Would still go for a Jeep! My dream!
It has been so far a very comfortable and easy riding easy driving vehicle. The color, the style, more room inside. Keyless ignition and doors. Power seats. Power windows and doors I love. The all wheel drive was main feature but the overall appearance helped. But it is a little high up off the ground. A little hard for me to get up into. It could be a little easier on gas compared to what I am used to. But it is getting better as it gets broke in.
It was a very dissatisfying experience at Kingdom Chevrolet in Chicago, IL. A 2018 Chevy Camaro 1LT was advertised as $17,695 on their website and seeing that I called Kingdom Chevy and confirmed the car availability and price. They were affirmative for both. I traveled all the way to their place for 2 hours and met the representative and he said there wont be any changes in the price and $17,695 is the final price plus TTL. We did the test drive and because the price was confirmed, I accepted for their credit run to know the APR that I will receive though I have an offer from bank. I gave all the confidential information and they ran my credit check. Now the manager comes and say, the price on the website was including some rebates and he can offer the car for $25500. Manager started asking me if I am in military or a student or a teacher, etc. How could a customer browsing through the internet know if rebates are applied or not. I was thinking $17,695 is a right price as 2019 models are already on the roads and they are trying to get rid of 2018 models and hence the price. I do not have concern on Chevrolet brand but the dealership is fooling the customers with false prices on their website.
I loved the style of the car. The Chevrolet Cavalier was an older car, but it was a great little car. It got great gas mileage, Air conditioning and FM Radio and it was just the right size car for me. It looked like a sports car, but with a 4 cylinder engine, and had all the features that I needed in a car. It had a roomy trunk for groceries and enough room in the back seat but I would have liked to have a little more room in there for the passengers.
I have a 2015 Captiva Sport. I bought it in 2016 with 36,000 miles. Other than replacing timing belt at 80, 000 miles, which was covered by warranty, Ive only had to fix a power window. I now have over 97,000 miles and am happy with the reliability of this vehicle. Im an Uber driver and this car gets lots of usage.
A complete waste of money for the purchase of this vehicle. I bought this new in August 2013 and every year since I have had it, separately from routine maintenance or normal wear and tear, I have had it in the garage to have some part replaced and whenever I have called General Motors or the dealership it is always the same response, Oh that is not covered under warranty, so basically NOTHING on their vehicle is ACTUALLY covered under warranty. Their bumper to bumper which is only 3 years or 36,000 miles whichever comes first is a JOKE!!They have used poor lousy parts in their vehicles and they are fully aware of it so they sit in their BOARDROOM and put their hands in the air because they just dont care but until they finally OWN up to the problem they have lost my BUSINESS!!! This business acquired a government bailout during the Bush administration and they DO NOTHING to assist their CONSUMERS!! I will never again purchase a Chevrolet/GM vehicle, this car has been nothing but a pain in my pocket!!
This is a great car but the overall experience is marred by some petty greed. The car comes with the ability to remote start; check battery, location, lock unlock; etc. This all comes with a internet connection through AT&T. They want between $180 to $420 per year to keep this service active. Thats absurd. My Ford provides these services free of charge. I understand that OnStar operators need to be paid but I am talking about basic tech services here. Is my car charged? When was it last driven? etc. I would love all that OnStar has to offer but I am unwilling to pay for it. Why cant Chevy provide basic informational services like Ford does for free?
Being a Chevy family for years I am very disappointed to find out that they hide problems with their vehicles from their customers. They can send out flyers to purchase new car mats or upgrades for cars, yet when a part is bad on their vehicles are bad. On our Trax our pvc valve cover went bad and Chevy had known that on the 2013-2017 Trax, Sonic and Cruise this part had been malfunctioning. It would have been under warranty from my dealership had I know when I was home to take it in.My warranty is not valid anywhere but there. Of course they never told me that either. My family decided to see our son who is in the Army 3.5 hours from our home. Car was not covered. We were stranded for 3 days because the strike caused a lack of parts throughout the country. Dealerships were closed because it was a weekend so we went to a Pep Boys. Chevy acknowledges this is an issue but refuse to reimburse me because I didnt go to a dealership in the town we were stranded in. Which by the way couldnt find the part we needed a Kia dealer had to find it! We will be trading in our Chevys by the end of the year and getting a different brand who believes in customer service not just making a buck!
I love my Malibu. It has served me well. I am 80 yrs old and it is perfect for me. The ride is smooth and it handles easily. The display panel is convenient for me, and I enjoy all the options. The seat adjustment has come in very handy on those occasions when I have had knee issues and needed room to get a straightened leg in the drivers side. I liked my Malibu so much, I converted the lease to a purchase!
Lies! Do not let them pull your credit! The General Manager Chevrolet Jim ** on the River in Tulsa, informed me that they work with all types of credit and that he was certain with a my 560 credit score he could get me in a car. He lied, the car lot stated I needed a co-signer and would have to trade in my current vehicle on top of that. That’s with $2,000 down all for an $18,000 vehicle. Also when the pulled my credit, as to what they called as a “soft hit” turned into 5 inquiries all from my application with them. I would not only NOT recommend them, I will advocate against any potential buyers from even contacting them.
I own a 2005 Chevy equinox that I have had for almost 4 years. I bought it used for $2000.00 and I felt like I had a mediocre deal because it had 300,000 miles already but I was desperate at the time. The car over all is good, it served its purpose and gets the job done. It runs good, it has no body damage but I sad to say I feel its on its way out now. Im having some problems and I cant afford to fix it now, so Im riding it til the wheels fall off.
4cyl. Surprised of the pep. Live in north country. All wheel drive good on roads. Interior has plenty of room. But the Chevy Equinoxs back seat does not drop down flat. Inconvenient when have to pack things full in vehicle. With back seat tipping up this is wasted space.
Way to go Chevy for making sure your pockets stay padded while the rest of us have a car that’s spent more money fixing it than what they paid for it! I am up to almost $2500 in repair costs and have been without a car for 6 months. I have replaced the ENTIRE PCV system. The water pump, the terminal block fuse, the starter, engine oil cooler, sensors etc has been replaced and some have been replaced numerous times. It’s horrible how this is clearly a problem from the factory and a poorly designed system but yet Chevy has no fix, swears there’s nothing wrong, will not issue a recall, and are allowed to get away with it. Don’t get me wrong because I always have and always will drive their vehicles and I’ve had no problems to date with any of the others I’ve owned. But this one sure has left a bad taste in my mouth and highly disappointed that they don’t care about our/my loyalty to their line. I loved the car except for all the issues. Once I get it back I have no choice but to try and get rid of it before the next 50,000 miles since that’s the average they last until the PCV system starts to fail again.
I bought a brand new 2016 Silverado in 2016 and have put 72000 (highway) miles on it. Took it into my local Chevy dealership because of a transmission shudder and whine right before shifting to the next gear. Torque converter is failing sending metal shavings through my transmission and destroying it. A bill of greater than 5500 for this transmission is absurd but not as crazy as a 3 year old transmission failing. Must be why they lowered the drivetrain warranty from 100k to only 60k. Have been a Chevy guy all my life, now looking into other brands due to their lack of standing behind a crap product.
I love my 2015 Chevy Cruze LTZ RS. I actually had one as a rental car back in 2015. It was so comfortable that the 12 hour drive seemed to fly by. I love the look of it and enjoyed driving it. The Cruze has great pickup for a four cylinder car. The turbo gives it some really good take off. My 2015 now has 79,000 miles on it.
