The 2025 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class stands as the ultimate expression of modern automotive luxury, merging cutting-edge technology with timeless craftsmanship and presence. It builds upon the foundation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class—already a benchmark of sophistication—and elevates it into a realm of exclusivity reserved for the world’s elite. For 2025, the Maybach S-Class continues to refine every element that defines its identity: serene power, impeccable materials, and a level of comfort that borders on the sublime.

On the outside, the 2025 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class exudes restrained elegance. It shares its silhouette with the standard S-Class but extends the wheelbase by nearly seven inches to prioritize rear-seat comfort. This additional length is most noticeable in the elongated rear doors and the stately proportions that give the car a commanding yet graceful stance. The signature Maybach vertical-bar grille dominates the front fascia, finished in polished chrome and flanked by adaptive DIGITAL LIGHT headlamps that project crisp beams capable of selectively shading portions of the road to prevent glare for other drivers. The chrome accents continue across the front bumper, door handles, window trim, and lower body panels.

A signature two-tone paint option—divided by a hand-applied pinstripe—remains a hallmark of the Maybach identity. The rear design is distinguished by exclusive Maybach badging, chrome detailing, and LED taillights with intricate internal patterns. Optional 20- or 21-inch forged wheels complete the vehicle’s majestic presence, while soft-close doors and an automatically extending rear sunshade highlight its refined functionality. Every element of the exterior communicates discretion, power, and refinement in equal measure.

Inside, the 2025 Maybach S-Class transforms the concept of a luxury sedan cabin into something closer to a rolling penthouse suite. The attention to detail is extraordinary, with Nappa leather covering nearly every surface, from the dashboard to the door panels and even the headliner. Buyers can choose from multiple color palettes and material combinations, including hand-finished wood veneers, metal inlays, and high-gloss piano black accents. The cabin lighting is ambient, adjustable in 64 colors, and designed to flow along sculpted contours for a calming, immersive effect.

Rear passengers are the true focus of the Maybach S-Class experience. The Executive Rear Seat Package comes standard, offering fully reclining lounge seats with power leg rests, massage programs, climate control, and heated armrests. Optional calf massagers and ventilated cushions ensure a spa-like experience on the move. The seats can tilt up to 43.5 degrees, turning the rear compartment into a sanctuary for relaxation or productivity. Between the seats lies a center console with deployable tables, USB-C ports, wireless charging pads, a refrigerator, and optional silver-plated champagne flutes. A Burmester High-End 4D surround sound system, paired with active noise cancellation, ensures a private concert-level listening experience.

Technology is seamlessly integrated into the Maybach’s luxurious environment. The MBUX infotainment system is powered by five OLED screens: a 12.8-inch central touchscreen, a digital driver display, and individual 11.6-inch monitors mounted on the back of the front seats for rear passengers. Each screen supports voice commands through “Hey Mercedes” activation, allowing occupants to adjust settings, lighting, navigation, and entertainment without lifting a finger. The MBUX Interior Assistant also uses cameras and sensors to detect gestures, enabling intuitive control with simple hand movements.

Under the hood, the 2025 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class offers two engine options, both delivering seamless power and refinement. The Maybach S580 4MATIC uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a 48-volt EQ Boost mild-hybrid system, producing 496 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. The EQ Boost system provides an additional 21 horsepower of electric assistance during acceleration and improves efficiency by smoothing power delivery. The top-tier Maybach S680 4MATIC is powered by a handcrafted 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, generating 621 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque, enabling a 0 to 60 mph time of just 4.4 seconds. Despite its immense power, the S680 remains whisper-quiet and composed under all conditions, with 4MATIC all-wheel drive ensuring confidence and stability.

The driving experience prioritizes serenity above all. Standard AIRMATIC air suspension and the advanced E-Active Body Control system adjust damping and ride height continuously to absorb imperfections in the road. In Maybach mode, the car prioritizes rear passenger comfort, minimizing body motion and optimizing shifts for smoothness rather than speed. Active noise control through the sound system’s microphones further isolates occupants from the outside world.

Safety and driver assistance remain among the most advanced in the world. The 2025 Maybach S-Class includes adaptive cruise control, active steering assist, automatic emergency braking, cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, and traffic sign recognition. A 360-degree camera system with augmented reality overlays enhances maneuverability, while semi-autonomous driving capability allows hands-free operation under certain conditions on approved roads. The Pre-Safe system also anticipates potential collisions, automatically closing windows, tightening seatbelts, and adjusting the seat position to protect passengers.

Rear passengers enjoy an unmatched level of personalization. Each has access to individual climate zones, entertainment controls, and ambient lighting settings. The rear-seat infotainment can stream video, browse the internet, or mirror smartphones. A high-efficiency ionizer and fragrance system ensure that the air quality remains perfect, while the panoramic sunroof with electrochromic dimming provides natural light and privacy on demand.

Though the Maybach S-Class emphasizes luxury, it remains practical enough for everyday use. The trunk is spacious enough to accommodate luggage or business essentials, and the intelligent all-wheel drive system ensures year-round usability, even in poor weather. However, few owners will drive this car themselves—it is built to be chauffeured, its every feature serving to enhance the experience of those in the back.

The 2025 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class sits at the pinnacle of the luxury sedan hierarchy, competing with models like the Rolls-Royce Ghost and Bentley Flying Spur. Yet, it offers a distinct character—one that balances German precision and innovation with handcrafted artistry. It represents the perfect fusion of tradition and technology, where every function exists to serve comfort and exclusivity rather than excess.

In summary, the 2025 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class defines the essence of modern luxury motoring. It is not merely a vehicle but a statement of status and serenity. With its silken ride, masterful interior, and refined powertrains, the Maybach S-Class transforms travel into an experience of complete tranquility and prestige. Whether driven or chauffeured, it stands as the most elegant and sophisticated expression of the Mercedes philosophy: the best or nothing.

Im trying to get a rear differential for my 2007 E350 Mercedes. It has been, since Thanksgiving 2012. I cant get the part and they cant tell me when I will get it (actually, they have given me a few different dates - none of which were right). I called Mercedes Customer Service multiple times. They cant get me a part, cant even tell when I will get a part. I expected more out of Mercedes.

My experience at Euromotor Cars in Bethesda, MD has been dismal. I had an accident and I took my car to the dealership/body shop to be repaired. The damage was assessed and I was asked about a dent on the other side of my car. I explained that that dent was not part of my accident claim. The employee asked me if I wanted it fixed for $100. I agreed to have it done and to pay for it out of my own funds.Over a month and a half later, when my car was finally fixed, I inquired about the work on the other dent and I was told that the quote was incorrect. It was really $2000! When I complained about the quote, I was told that they just made a mistake and that I was trying to get something for nothing.I explained that if I was trying to be dishonest, I would have included all of the damage in one claim. I added that although I lost my 6 figure job and was now working for 60% of what I formerly, I still pay Mercedes every month and that my husband and I own 3 Mercedes and SMART car. I was told that I should have sold my car and driven a $200 clunker. I was trying to explain that I live up to my obligations and that I felt Mercedes should do the same. So much for being a loyal customer who tries to do the right thing. I guess Mercedes doesnt value my business. The dent in my car has not been fixed and I have made a formal complaint to the National Consumer Service Center.

I bought my 2006 ML500 in 2011. The car had previously been in a car accident so we were expecting some minor issues, as the larger ones had been fixed. What we were not expecting, however, was over $20,000 in repairs. Not only have we spent so much money at one Mercedes dealership, we had absolute awful service. Three weeks ago, my ML500 began shaking and wouldnt accelerate right away. We went into Mercedes expecting to get our problem fixed, and were told theyd do it for $1,600. We were so fed up with it that we just went ahead and paid for it. I picked up my car a couple of days later and started driving, and it seemed fine. The next day, the problem arose again, except the shaking became extremely worse. At this point, I dont even know what to do with this vehicle, and am so shocked that we paid $1,600 and nothing was fixed. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING A MERCEDES. I own a Toyota truck and have received extremely better service paying less than half the price!! Not worth it!! Go for a Lexus or Acura instead!

I went there to purchase a GL 450 2015. The purchase was all cash. We agreed on the price and after waiting for the finance guy to clean up his desk which took a lot of time, we were ready to sign the papers. After two hours being in that dealership the sales manager came and informed us that the general manager wants us to sign a paper and also put $10000 security deposit in order to make sure that we are not going to ship the car to China for two years and then they will return the deposit. They even took a copy of my Dental license. I objected the security deposit, in the beginning after consulting with someone they agreed to the signing a paper and copy of my license. After signing almost 90% of the paperwork the guy got a phone call and then told us they cannot go ahead with the deal. We wasted more than two hours in that dealership and felt very insulted. The General manager think everybody is a criminal otherwise they prove they are not... just not American way.

We have a 2012 Mercedes-Benz GL350 that listed new for 80,000.00. We bought it used in October of 2018 and it appeared in Excellent condition and had a clean Carfax and great service history. It had about 97,000 miles on it when we purchased it. At approximately 108,000 miles the engine locked up with no warning. The cost to replace the diesel engine with a new engine is close to 25,000.00. I contacted Mercedes Customer service and was informed that since I didnt purchase the vehicle new and I didnt have its yearly service done at an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer, they would not be able to offer any assistance with the repair cost. I was informed that even if I had purchased it new and had it serviced by the book, they would probably only offer about 5-10% of the repair cost. I was then told that if I wanted to purchase a New Mercedes GLS model, that they would offer me a discount coupon of $3,000.00.A new GLS starts at about 65,000.00. I think an 80,000.00 vehicle should last longer than 108000 miles, even if the dealer does not maintain it. By looking at the vehicle it is apparent that it was maintained. POOR customer service and product support in my opinion. Now I have a vehicle that I owe 16,000.00 on, and I would be lucky to get 6000.00 in the condition it is in now. And a used motor would still cost around $10,000.00. In addition to the engine, I have had to replace the oil filter housing due to a leak at less than 100000 miles, and recently I replaced the rear air bag and sensor and the air diverter valve also. Done with Mercedes for sure.

I cannot express in words my disappointment and disgust in my recent experience with Mercedes-Benz. I will never own another model. It is certainly not what I would expect from a luxury car or a first-class dealership. I researched for several weeks before choosing to purchase and finally deciding on the GLA. The fact that it was a Mercedes made the decision easier for me as I knew it would be a car that would be flawless and have unmatched resale value. I purchase a new 2016 GLA 250 on July 18, 2016. After driving my brand new GLA for only 2 weeks, I took it in for an unusual wind noise coming from the drivers side window. I trusted that because the car was sold to me with an obvious factory default, the dealership would make every effort to remedy this problem and ensure customer satisfaction. I was heartbroken to be told that it could not, and would not, because the noise was due to the way the car was factory-made and attempting to do any repairs would void the extended warranty that I had purchased. To date, no one from the dealership or Mercedes-Benz has contacted me or made an attempt to remedy this situation. Unfortunately, because of this experience, this will be the first and last Mercedes-Benz I will ever own. The unfortunate thing for Mercedes-Benz of Beaumont, whether they realize it or not, is that my husband is a bank president in a small town about 25 miles west of Beaumont, that has three locations, and I work in a thriving school district in a town 30 miles east of Houston. Between the two of us, we know a great deal of people. We know first-hand, about customer service and how vital it is to a business, large or small. We intend to tell everyone we know of our horrendous experience with that dealership. To add insult to injury, I have since received an email indicating that I have received new inquiries on my credit, which may lower my credit score. It did indeed change my credit score by significantly dropping it several points. The report details show they are all due to inquiries from Mercedes Benz. After contacting MBUSA by phone and in writing, this is the response I have received: Hi Pam, thanks for your patience. Your comments have been shared with our colleagues at MBUSA and we regret to hear of your continued dissatisfaction. Our colleagues advise, that they have already confirmed their position with regards to your vehicle. For this reason, they will not be making further contact with you at this stage. We appreciate your understanding. Kind regards, your Mercedes-Benz Social Media Team. I have started the process to cancel my extended warranty and will be selling my GLA as soon as possible. I have reviewed the GLA on several websites unfavorably and plan to file a report with the Better Business Bureau regarding the horrendous customer service at Mercedes-Benz of Beaumont. For a company known for first class customer service and satisfaction, you should be embarrassed to have colleagues such as those at MB-Beaumont in your employ. I have since read countless reports of the same wind noise from other owners on various websites. DO NOT PURCHASE A GLA!!! As for me, I will NEVER drive another Mercedes. There are plenty of other luxury models to choose from.

I come to make a statement of the worst auto customer service I have ever had. My wife and I contacted Mercedes-Benz dealer in Silver Springs, Maryland on January, 21st, 2017 to buy a 2017 Certified Pre-owned Mercedes GLC 300 4MATIC. After test-drive and negotiation, we decided to finance the car with a down payment. As it was Saturday evening and MB Financial services was already closed, all financial approval would be done next week.On the next Monday, January 23rd, I was informed by the dealer that in order to get the financing approved I had to cash down 50% of the value of the car and provide Bank Account statements, pay stubs, Lawful Permanent Resident ID and other documents. I was not surprised since I recently relocated to the USA and I already knew my Credit Score was low. So I made it happen by providing all documents required and by doing an International Wire Transfer to fulfill the amount necessary for the buy. As this transfer was done with urgency, I had to pay extra fees to get the money ready for buy.On Tuesday, January 24th, I was informed that the financing would had been approved and I no longer had to cash down 50% of the value of the car, but about 15%. And car would be delivered on Thursday afternoon, January 26th. In the meantime, I got the car insured and pay for the first monthly payment of it. On Thursday afternoon, Delivery Day, my wife and I returned our rental car and took an Uber to the MB dealer. Everything seemed usual until the big disappointment came. After we had signed part of the contract documents for the buy, we were informed by the manager that they did no longer had approval from MB Financial Services to our financing.Long story short, we came back empty handed, or better said by feet. We were rudely sent alway without any worry by dealer staff if we had the means to come back home. Not even a taxi was called. To conclude, together with all financial loss we had (early returning of a prepaid rental car, Uber, auto insurance and fees on international wire transfer), we suffered prejudice for being immigrants, although we are highly schooled people with Lawful Permanent Residency. The reputation of Mercedes-Benz as one of the greatest auto brands simply vanished for me and my family. The Star lost its bright!

I bought a 20k mile C Class Mercedes from a main dealer in Brighton. Within 2 months of ownership, the brakes and discs all needed replacing. Mercedes UK claimed the parts were consumables and are therefore not covered under the warranty even though the car only had done 20k miles. The dealership finally replaced the fronts after 5 months of complaining but has refused to replace the rear. I also had issues over the alleged mileage on the car and the claimed servicing on the vehicle. Mercedes UK behaves like a back street dealer and refused to help. Jeremy ** claimed that Mercedes had improved their after sales, I strongly disagree.

I have had 3 Mercedes previously but the Mercedes C200 CDI Estate is our first diesel. The fuel economy is excellent and as we do a lot of distance traveling we certainly enjoy the comfort and the road handling. Being an Estate find the loading space in the boot great for trips to Bunnings and for trips to the beach with grandchildren and dogs. Have already done 150 kilometres in 4 years and with regular servicing hope to get over 200 kilometres before replacing it.

The button that ascends the rear shades doesnt work. As of today, Mercedes in White Plains has not called me to let me know whats wrong with my car. It appears Mercedes Benz reputation for good customer service is truly in decline. The staff has been nothing but unresponsive and inattentive to customers needs. My wife and I leased a brand new E350 almost one year ago. My father has the same car and we had driven every iteration he has had over the years so we were very familiar with the car, and liked the way each of his drove. The car had issues as soon as we drove it off the lot, loose parts, noises in the trunk, and rough/unpredictable shifting of the transmission. The loose parts and noises were fixed when we took our new car in to the dealer 5 days after we picked it up. They also replaced the rear tires. The car still shook and shifted roughly. So since the dealer we bought it from still had our traded vehicle, I suggested it would be best for all involved to return the car and we would leave with our trade but they refused. I contacted MB corporate and wrote letters to the President of MB North America. I was told to continue to bring the car in for service since that was what the warranty is for, but I find this completely unacceptable for such a pricey car. In almost of a year of having this car weve only driven 4500 miles because we feel the car is unsafe to drive. We pursued a lemon-law case, but since the descriptions on the repair orders are written by different people who are interpreting the problems the best they can in limited space, and since the shifting issues are intermittent, the Board ruled against us even though the car exhibited the unpredictable shifting/acceleration on the way to the hearing. We have been treated poorly by the dealer we leased the car from, and from MB Corporate who makes the Customer feel like there is no real issue with the car even though a search has revealed that the 7 speed transmission in these cars are not working correctly. Weve asked that MB re-purchase the car so we can get something that performs properly and that we feel safe driving. My wife has had issues on the highway because of the unpredictable acceleration of the car, when you expect to pass or avoid a car and you press on the gas, sometimes the car does not initially respond, and then lurch forward unpredictably. One of the board members hearing our case stated that modern cars exhibit a 2 to 3 second delay when accelerating because they are not connected to the carburetor the way older cars were which is just nonsense, but thats who is reviewing these things. I am shocked at how MB treats their Customers. I never received a response from the President of MB NA by the way. I can provide all my e-mails, letters, and repair orders if needed. MB portrays themselves as a premium brand but they treat their customers poorly and step all over them with a legal team and experts who can easily confuse board members hearing lemon cases. MB could have taken back this lemon and I would have purchased a more expensive model if they were good business people, but they are more interested in forcing the Customer to pay for a sub-standard car so that they can hold on to their image as a prestige brand which in my experience it is not. Ive had Audi, BMW, Volkswagen, and Mercedes automobiles and Ive never had anything close to this type of experience. We continue to bring the car to the dealer which has been a major inconvenience and not what you expect from a brand new car.

The turbo of my B Class has failed for the second time in just more than a year. The clock is on 62,000 km. Both times, Mercedes has towed the car in but didnt even ask if I need a courtesy car. I have to travel 40 km to work and back. I had to collect my car myself in Pretoria, 100 km from where I stay. Mercedes gave me a reason why the turbo failed each time and each time their comment was that it never happened before with a B class. If that is the true, it means my car is a defected car and actually should be replaced. They only give the reasons and stopped at that. Im not satisfied with just an answer from a company that is supposed to be one of the finest in the motor business. My husband bought me a Mercedes because its one of the best, but my trust in my vehicle on the road is ruined and I am scared for the next time the turbo fails, the car lost power and had a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust. Fortunately, I was near the school where Im teaching and could reach my destination. What if my car lets me down on a deserted road and Im alone? I really want somebody to give me more than an excuse and with a practical solution to my problem.

WORTHLESS 2019 Mercedes Benz C300. Purchased a brand new 2019 Mercedes Benz at the end of July 2019 with only 20 miles. The car stopped accelerating and was towed to the dealership Oct. 4 2019. The fuel pump was replaced, there were loose bolts/wires, the trunk latch was fixed and for some reason they replaced the charge air cooler which had nothing to do with the original issue. Picked my car up around 4:30pm October 10th, drove it 40 minutes home and the Low Coolant Warning light comes on. Immediately notified the dealership and my car was towed BACK to the dealership around 8am October 11th. They first stated that I needed a new water pump but then said that there were wires loose in the dashboard so they removed the dash and fixed it.While my car was in the care of the dealership about 60 miles were added onto my leased car and they ran over a nail. So my tire had to be replaced also. Finally received my car back around 4:30pm after work on October 16th, drove 30 minutes and the low coolant light popped on yet again. Immediately notified the tech and he stated that someone will pick my car up Friday October 18th. No one came to pick up my car and now I have an scheduled appointment for Tuesday October 21st. During this time, I have spoken to the managers at the dealership which directed me to file a complaint with Mercedes Benz and I did.I spoke to two customer reps which the first rep named Jack hung up on me. The second rep escalated my call to a manager named Roman whom said he would call me back but never did. It’s ridiculous that I am held to paying my money for a car that I have not had for three months on top of the fact that it’s been out of my possession for most of the month of October, added mileage that I will never get back on a leased car and continuous problems on a NEW 2019 Mercedes Benz.

At 2AM after being off for nearly 10 hours, the passenger seat of my 2007 GL450 caught on fire in my garage, nearly catching the house on fire and killing my dogs who were in the garage with the car. I reported this to Mercedes (MBUSA) and asked that they inspect the car because this was clearly a defect. The internet is littered with stories/complaints of GL450 seats catching on fire (Google GL450 fire). They said they would inspect it. After much prying, they never did an inspection. A friend with a GL450 called Mercedes to ask about these events that are on the internet that I had forwarded to her. They told her that no one had ever submitted a formal complaint on this, that they had never heard of that and she should not worry. This companys disregard for the lives of the people that buy their vehicles is appalling. You buy these cars because you think they are safe, yet when the company has been contacted on numerous occasions about a defect that has the potential to kill people, the company does nothing to fix the problem and lies to customers saying they have never heard of a GL450 catching on fire. Its as if they dont think we can search for things on the internet. I will never trust Mercedes again. I cannot believe they knowingly leave these cars on the road with seat heater defects that are literally like bombs going off when the car is unattended in a garage. This company has no respect for human life.

We have owned our Mercedes C230 since we bought it new in 2007. The Mercedes has outlasted our BMW 325i and our Toyota Tundra. The car still drives like new. Of course we have had regular maintenance performed regularly, just like we did on the previous mentioned vehicles. As of today, everything on the Mercedes is working properly. Unfortunately we can not say the same about the BMW or Toyota. Don’t get me wrong, the BMW and Toyota still had strong engines, it was the many little thing that went wrong. I would strongly recommend the Mercedes. We have purchased an E class Mercedes and are confident it will be as great as our still C230.

I just purchase a 2015 C63 AMG S. The moldings are falling off the car under the door. The car was taken to their body shop and the molding were replaced. A week later they started to come off again. Today I took the time to go to the dealer and talk to the shop foreman about this issue. We both agreed that the molding and lower panels are made defective and there may be no fix for this problem. I hope that Mercedes comes up with a fix soon or I will have to replace this car asap. It seems that the quality of their product has gone down the tube.

Purchased a GLC 2018 300. The vehicle had issues and the dealer would not fix them. After taking it in a few times, we asked for a different vehicle and they said they would because they wanted customers to be satisfied with their purchase, joke. Then they said they would fix two issues, squealing brakes and squeaky dash. They fix the squealing brakes but would not fix the noise in the dash. Customer service would not help and the manager of the dealer would not Return my call. They lie about customer service in my opinion, no way will there be a Mercedes-Benz in my family ever.

If I could start by giving them 0 star, I would have. But unfortunately youd still have to give them something. Let me start by saying that if anyone wants to see my email records or phone conversation records that I had with MBUSA, feel free to reach out and I will provide them all to you. I leased a brand new C300, full package just about 3 months ago. Starting the moment I played any music, I heard a noise coming out of the doors, mainly the front doors. So, I reached back the dealership within 2 days, and I said there is this issue with my car. Sure, bring it back to us and our shop team should be able to fix it for you, said the dealership to me. The car is brand new, and its under 100% warranty. Long story short, over the last 3 months, I was given a loaner car for about 20 days! 5 different times, they had my car to work on it, different dealership, and yet, they are still not able to fix the issue. The issue comes in whenever I use the bluetooth to make a phone call, listen to any music, or playing a radio. The shops have tried changing the speakers, doors, entertainment system and so on. None of them fixed the issue. So what I did was that I thought I could call MBUSA and have them get involved with this major issue.Irene **, Executive Referral Manager, the person who I started communicating from the first day, told me that, Were sorry that this issue is within your car, and we are here to help you out. Sure! So, she offered me a $100 gift card to a restaurant! My first reaction was that, Are you being serious? She said, how about a $200 gift card to a nice restaurant where I could take my friends and family for a night. My reaction to her words was just unbelievable. I said there is no way that a customer would say yes to this, where they have to deal a car with a broken entertainment system for 3 years! How would you want this to go away?Anyhow, I emailed her, and I noted the conditions that Im willing to go with at this point, which one of them was to have MBUSA buy back their broken car and give their customers money back. Irene emailed me back (and called) and said Sure! We are going to work on this and it would take about 4 to 6 weeks for us to go over this. I said thats fine. As long as I know thats the case. After 5 weeks exact, she called me and said, We are unable to buy back your car and it is what it is. There is nothing we could do at this point! So, I discussed with her over the phone that, How would you even say that? There is 100% something wrong with the car you support in your region, and you say that you cant do nothing? She, again, said, We are sorry it is what it is and hang up the phone! In the middle of our conversation, she said her own words and hang up the phone! As easy/crazy as it sounds like. So, I got really upset, and I emailed her that, We were talking I believe, and you hang up the phone on me. That is not nice in no business environment. This is no buy it and you are on your own - This is The best or nothing. So after she received my email, she calls me back in 2 hours and said, Im sorry that the answer is not what I thought it would be, but there is nothing I could do. I asked for her managers name or email address where I could talk to them instead. And she refused to provide any. So I emailed the day after, 3 times, and no response. The day after which would be today, she emailed and said the decision was made by her team and Frank **, which I cannot provide you his information. Also, I am not going to reply to your emails after this. So, long story short, please do a bit research on the type of car you want to go with, and make sure you dont have to deal with these people. They are very rude, unprofessional, and untrustworthy and unreliable. I am, in fact going to make legal actions about this and as I have been told, this car is an easy 100% lemon law buy back, by the California laws. MBUSA just dont want to take it the easy way. Just remember, first they tried offering me a $100 gift card to a restaurant and have me let go of this case. Thank you.

With under 40,000 at the initial start of the check engine light coming on which no one else besides MB has ever serviced, I had to get the balance shaft replaced in the motor at my total expense. From reading reviews and information from this page and other pages they said it was best to take the car back to the dealer for this type of job. I tried other Mercedes dealerships in Cleveland: North Olmsted gave me a phone estimate of $10,000, Mercedes-Benz of Willoughby Leikin said they were too small to handle such a big job so I ended up taking the car back to Mercedes Benz of Bedford where I originally purchase it for a mere$7,036.51. I associate this cost with me being **, female, prior neg. post and phone calls. This was the worse purchase I have ever made in my life and I would NEVER buy another Mercedes. They do not stand behind their merchandise. I think they tossed a coin to see who was going to service me (after corporate calls, because Bedford where I originally purchased the car new, never called me back). My conclusion: once the car is out of warranty they really dont want your business, unless its to trade the car in on a new one and they resell your old one for a mint. I know people are in business to make money but when your product falls short of what it claims to be I feel you are obligated to provide some type of relief. Word of mouth is the best advertisement you can get. When the words of many mouths is a negative experience in the end you lose. By the way Mercedes USA was a waste of my time. They did absolutely nothing.

I have had my 2015 C300 W4 since 2018. Here are the facts to my car and experience. I purchased the car at the Rallye Dealership in Long Island, New York. I purchased it at 12,000 miles. As of today, April 4th, 2022, I have a total of 36,000 miles. My warranty had expired in April 2019. On March 9th, my dashboard had a check engine light sign come on in so I took it directly to the Foothill Ranch service center in California. Again, I have had this car since 2018, barely drove or had any miles on it, and always received the A and B service maintenance at a certified Mercedes-Benz dealership. After checking out the engine light, Benz told me I had a positive crankcase valve and needed to replace it. The costs? $1,900. Plus, I had a diagnosis where I would need about $10,000 in repairs. I thought this was absurd being that I did not have any miles on this car or that my car would need such a costly repair plus $10,000 worth of other repairs. I reached out to the customer service team at Mercedes-Benz where I was assisted by a man with the initial S. He came back to me reading off a policy script saying they would only cover 50% of the total repair costs of $1,900... Imagine hearing that Mercedes-Benz wants to cover only 9% of the total costs of repairs my car needs. I reasoned with him letting him know I would cover up to $2,000 of other repairs needed if and only if Benz could cover the replacement crankcase valve. In return, he again reads the same script saying Benz cant do anything else. It was just so disappointing to work with someone who acted as if it was his money that I was asking for. He didnt even empathize or try to advocate for me being that I hadnt even driven this car. Yes, my warranty expired but again, I only had 35,800 miles when I initially brought the car in to check out the engine light. This experience with S really changed my perspective on this company. I am selling my car because I cant believe a brand like Mercedes-Benz couldnt even offer to cover a $1,800 repair out of the $10,000 costs of total repairs I was recommended to fix... Think about that and let it sit with you. This experience has confirmed and affirmed never to buy or support a company where although factually this car has issues and it is a quality issue WITHIN Mercedes-Benz, that youve amounted to a single percentage. Its incredible that I who have made all my payments and paid for all my maintenance services, was told no and that Mercedes cannot offer anything else. Even as a courtesy, nothing was provided. I hope that in the future whoever speaks to anyone or an S who works as Executive Referral Manager will note that they wont help you or will only cover a small percentage. I cannot wait to get this car out of my hands and provide my money elsewhere and not to this company. I am looking forward to the day this car is out of my hands, my sight, and no longer affecting my pockets.

I have been a customer of MB of Boerne Tx for a few years. I purchased my last vehicle from them. I will not be going back. On June 27, 2017 I brought my car to MB to check an engine issue. I utilized one of their loaners. I picked my car up the next day and drove to my house. I opened my trunk to grab my cooking cutlery which I had put there the day before only to find it gone. I did a quick check of everything else in the car and found I was missing two other items. What makes this so frustrating is I blame myself since this is not the first time Boerne MB employees have stolen something from my car. The other time, I reported the theft immediately to my service advisor Linda who gave me a complimentary wax job. She told me she had reported that theft to management. I should have emptied my car out before taking it there but I was in a hurry and forgot my cutlery was in the back.I did not bother to go back and report it because obviously nothing would be done or it would have been done the last time this happened and would not have happened again. The main reason I am providing this review is so other Mercedes-Benz owners do not make the mistake I made and become a victim of MB of Boerne employees. Empty your vehicle before you leave it with them.To MB management, I sincerely doubt I am the only one this has happened to since it happened to me twice. This would be easy to find out which of your employees is the thief or thieves. Plant something in a vehicle and track it. You will catch them sooner or later. You have lost my business but maybe you can prevent this from happening to another customer. Had you done this after the first time I reported it to you it might not have happened again. Dont get me wrong, I blame myself but even after the first time I thought I could trust you. More fool me... it has been an expensive lesson replacing my Wusthof cutlery set but it is a lesson learned. I will utilize MB of San Antonio from here on but my car will be empty regardless.

In December 2006, I had a bad car accident. An F150 Ford truck ran a red light and badly damaged my car. (The driver left the scene). I could not walk. My car was in the paint and body shop for almost 5 months & I had to rent a car for that time period. I only had the car 13 months at the time of the accident. The car stayed idle for so many months in the repair shop that the tires were stolen off the car, and Mercedes Benz manager said that was the time the tires should be replaced anyway (thats not true). I was not compensated for the tires. When I finally got the car back, it had swaying issues. I never knew when the car was going to sway, therefore, I was afraid to drive at a high rate of speed. The swaying was very scary!!!. The car went back to Mercedes Benz more than once with swaying complaints. They claimed their technicians could not find anything wrong with the car. I know that Mercedes Benz knew exactly what was wrong with that C280, but everyone denied the issue. Therefore, I had to continue driving the defected car as safely as possible until the lease matured. The swaying issues could have caused a serious accident & possibly death. I would not let anyone else drive it because of the swaying. I finally stopped complaining because it was useless!

I have owned and leased multiple vehicles with Mercedes for years; one, which is under warranty, is the subject of this complaint. The moonroof opened, and never closed; because it is still under warranty, I took it to our nearest Mercedes dealership for repairs. This was in November of 2020. Now in March of 2021, my vehicle sits, abandoned and without repairs in the same dealership. I’m being informed there is no E.T.A. for the PRODUCTION of the required part that has failed on the moonroof mechanism. To make matters worse, they can’t even force the door shut so that the interior of my vehicle isn’t subjected to the elements, or for me to be able to drive it until the part arrives. We were given the customer service contact information for Mercedes Customer Service, and have come to find that they have absolutely no interest in aiding us in this issue. We were assigned to the Executive Referral Manager, Melicie. She took our information, informed us that she would be making a case file for us, and would attempt to find us options or some sort of resolution. Then, that was it; it’s been over two weeks and haven’t heard back from her; she will not return our phone calls, and when other representatives answer and make a friendly comment about “oh she’s in today”, after that they are unable to locate her or get her on the phone and “would we like her voicemail”. No I do not want her voicemail any more, I want my car back! I appreciate the loaner and I appreciate all that Star Motor has done for us, because they have their hands tied - but isn’t Customer Service here to Service the Customer? The loaner is not the sports SUV that I bought my wife, the car she loves but now is weary to have back because of the unavailability of parts. We continue to pay for this vehicle, we continue to pay for the full coverage insurance, we continue to wait. Is that what we’re supposed to do when we’ve been such faithful customers for so many years? Is this what thousands of dollars a month buys you? I would like a resolution, I would love a call back - I want the type of service I thought Mercedes was supposed to give their customers. Is it fair that this representative, Melicie, is laughing at us - or doesn’t want to deal with us, a Mercedes customer? Maybe an $84k car note to them is not a big deal or important, but this is years of hard work for myself and my wife.

I purchased a new E-320, brand new, fully loaded. Hand washed from day one to this day. Driven only 14 miles/day! It has only 40k miles. I babied this vehicle and it is in mint condition. Looks like a museum piece! At around 30k miles the leather sit seams came apart! (???) Note that I have the massage package so you would expect a top quality leather. Dealer did me a favor and replaced it. Later I found out that MB *knew* about the upholsterys low quality they used. Now, at 40k miles the left side of the driver seat is peeling off!! Went to the dealer - horrible dealer btw - (MB of Nanuet RT 304 Nanuet, NY) and the service manager, without even looking at it said, Oh! Wear and tear not covered, sorry. Are you kidding me??? 40k miles? I weight 180 pounds, tall and slim. My neighbor has a BMW with over 80k miles, he weights probably 350 pounds and the seat look like new! Do yourself a favor. MB has the reputation but the quality parts they use - at least the leather - is horrible. Never ever again!! And also stay away form that horrible dealer. I plan to put a sign in my vehicle and drive around with a picture of the peeling leather and the name of the dealer who refuses to take care of it. That, based on the mint condition of the vehicle most likely will raise eyebrows. Shame on you Mercedes Benz!

In November of 2018 I purchased a 2016 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 from Mercedes Music City in Nashville, Tenn. It had 20,000 miles and several months left on the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty. I live in Gainesville, Ga so flew there and drove it home. After driving it for 700 miles the check engine light came on and took it to RBM Mercedes of Roswell, GA. They found a few particles of something that was never identified residue in the fuel tank. I also found out the prior owner had check engine light issues also. RBM and Mercedes corporate determined it must be something I put in there and it contaminated the whole fuel system and now it needed $15,000 worth of repairs (whole fuel system needed replacement). I had driven it 700 miles and put 2 tanks of fuel in it. They refused to fix it. I did a lot of research on the internet. They charged me over $1,000 for cleaning out the tank and fuel lines and I left. I took it to an independent Diesel mechanic who tested the injector pump and said it wasnt putting out enough pressure. He replace it and the lift pump in the tank. Cost for repair was $2700. Pump was a warranty item. There was nothing in the old pump. It was just defective. Dealer and Mercedes misdiagnosed the problem and will not pay the repair. They insist they were right. The woman I spoke to at Mercedes was arrogant and didnt give a crap what I had to say or what I could prove. If you’re thinking of buying a Mercedes- dont. Buy a different Vehicle. This will be my last Mercedes.

I purchased a 2016 “Certified” Mercedes Benz GL550 with low mileage. Like maybe 22,000 miles? This is my 4th Mercedes I purchased and got serviced through MB dealerships. Two were new. Two were certified pre-owned. I did not even haggle with Silver Star Mercedes in New York on the price. I purchased a number of upgraded warranties, bringing the total up almost to $80,000. This vehicle was advertised as “certified.” That includes a 27 point checklist on the exterior of the vehicle. When the vehicle delivered to me, I sent pictures to the dealer within an hour of receiving it.There were a number of issues. I sent pics and contacted them, including the owner. The GM, Rob, got back to me and left a message. I tried contacting him back many times, left messages and never got hold of him. Finally, I left a message suggesting he text or email me a time he is available to speak. No response. So I contacted the owner again. No response. I live in Pittsburgh so I couldn’t just go there. Finally, I called a Mercedes Benz US customer service. They said I have to work through the dealership to resolve it. I told them I have tried and they won’t respond! So I tried to call Mercedes a Benz Customer Service another day, hoping another employee would be more helpful.Again, he told me I had to work through dealership for resolution. I said AGAIN that they won’t get back to me. They wouldn’t even call them for me and ask them to please respond. Like I said, this is my 4th Mercedes, with each getting more expensive! I was considering buying a G-Wagon, but forget it! I’m DONE with a Mercedes! I’m going back to BMW. I NEVER in a million years expected such a terrible experience from Mercedes! The damages were only about $1,500 to fix. My local dealer was appalled and got me an estimate. Never buy a Mercedes if you are buying a certified vehicle that you hope the company stands behind!

Serious safety issue on 2012 ML550: My pregnant wife, 2-year-old son and I were bounced like popcorn in the car on a highway when the air suspension failed again in 10 days after the first repair. My 2012 ML550, bought in February 2012 with 10,000 km, ran into a serious safety issue. The air suspension failed twice in just 10 days. The Airmatic suspension system leaks and failed twice within two weeks. The first time was on November 27, on a trip to the hospital with my wife to do the pregnancy test; malfunction in dash at a stop sign after 40 minutes on the highway. The rear of the car sagged and could not be raised. I barely drove it home. It was bumpy all the way while my wife was tested positive for pregnancy on the day. It was towed to the dealer. They found a leaky distribution line in the air suspension system and they claimed they fixed it on the next day. But we felt the air suspension very stiff ever since. Then 10 days later on December 10, a day before we decided to send it back to dealer for a check-up, while dining out, driving on the highway at high speed, the malfunction in dash appeared and the rear of the car sagged again! My pregnant wife and 2-year-old son and I were bounced like popcorn on the flat bed in the car and barely drove it home. We had it towed to dealer soon after. There were more problems with the air suspension this time: replaced valve, relay, and now the compressor needed to be replaced also and had to be ordered from Germany. The car is disabled at the dealership at the time of this writing. The car is unsafe to drive now. It is less than a year and with only 10,000 km on it. I demand the full money back including HST from the manufacture because the manufacture has refused to replace me with a new car at no cost.

Worst service ever! I recently got a flat tire and called Roadside Assistance for Mercedes Benz. When they sent me the FIRST guy he was so rude even went as far as saying HELL NO when I told him where I needed to be towed to. Mind you the only reason I needed a tow was because he was unable to put my spare tire on because he did not have the proper tools. So I called Roadside back. I let them know I needed someone who had the tools to unlock my tire (mind you this is Roadside for Mercedes so you can assume how annoyed I would be after someone who wasnt qualified was sent to me.) So here we go two hours still stuck on the side of the road, they send me out another tow truck and surprise it was the same guy from earlier and of course so charming I guess they rerouted me to you so I have to take you. I call Roadside imminently so that I can have someone else sent out AGAIN. Mind you I remind them that he must have the special tools that Mercedes requires to take the tire off. Of course they send me someone who AGAIN is not qualified. At this point I am livid and had been stuck from 7:30pm-10pm. Once they were unable to take my tire off the guy starts setting me up for a tow, and then informs me that the only place I can be towed for free would be the dealership which at this point wasnt open so would have been pointless but was my only option unless I wanted to pay 200$ to be towed home. Great surprise considering all that has happened at this point. Mind you I choose to discontinue my triple AAA account since they had assured me Mercedes Roadside was the best to have. What a mistake. I ended up having to call triple AAA and reinstating my account so I can get towed to my home. At this time it was 11:45pm still on the side of the Freeway. Finally speak with a Roadside rep AGAIN and of course A manager will call you back Tomorrow. Its been a day so BLANCA if you are reading this Im still waiting for your call. What a Joke Mercedes Roadside is. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Definitely regretting even purchasing one at this point.

When we purchased this vehicle new and picked it up the problems started. The speaker fell out of the wall while I was driving home. I fixed it before my wife gets upset about quality. We took the van to Disney and water started pouring into the van from the roof. Took it in and they fixed it and left a dirty shop towel inside the AC unit, plus dirty finger prints on the panels. Door adjustment on sliding door was not correct. Door would rattle while driving. This was repaired at dealer when oxy sensor went bad. Then the egr valve went bad. Then the AC compress clutch failed and was replaced. They made us pay the labor. AC condenser cooler totally disintegrated and fail into the parking lot in a little pile of aluminum fins. The hide lines stayed intact. This was repaired as well.Paint on the vehicle at 8000. Miles started to chip off every time a bug hit it. Now it looks bad. I used touch up to hide it. They said they would fix it and repainted it, but they never did. Now the serpentine belt and pulley and tensioner are being replaced at my cost. This cost 800 dollars, but they were supposed have fixed this with the AC compressor repair. Anyway, there is more. My van only has 38,000 miles on it. Can you believe this. Mercedes has refused to assist and we have purchased 6 vehicles from them through the years. I guess the German quality is gone and they dont care either.

I was so disappointed when my husband gave me a keychain purchased at Mercedes Benz for Christmas to go with my new car, an E400. He bought it because it looked like it was Made in Germany. When I removed the tag, Mercedes had covered up the MADE IN CHINA sticker. I for one, refuse to purchase anything MADE IN CHINA, so I returned it. I believe Mercedes should show where their products are manufactured. A range of problems from drive belt being replaced, alternator, the lights
A range of problems from drive belt being replaced, alternator, the lights inside not working, clanking from the engine when aircon is on, rear end noise, the car sliding on acceleration (rear end) and then the car misfired and a near miss with a truck. Mercedes has fixed all other than clunky noises and aircon noise. They tells the car is safe, then why is it sliding on the roads and lacking power on acceleration. In the process of picking up my car an hour late from my workplace, they get me a parking fine. They then deliver it back to my home late also. They indicate they will pay the fine, I have confirmation of that. They have not, and the fine has increased. I receive paperwork advising no known issues, though the engine light code paperwork has the misfire in ignition coil noted. My guess is notice done as my car is still not driving well. I ask my complaint to be sent to their CEO. I have not received confirmation of this. Silverstar in Doncaster had advised me that my car is fine and what would I expect of a 2 year vehicle. They offer to replace mine with a demonstrator and inform me they will offer me 35,000 for my 50,000 car and I will need to pay them the gap of 20,000. The dealer principal recommends that yes you should go to consumer affairs. Poor service, poor quality 2012 c180, very disappointed. Here I am now driving a car that does not accelerate and with continuous engine noise and malfunctions. Level of safety felt: zero. I am now due for a service though do not want to be humiliated at a Mercedes Dealership in Victoria again.

I own a 2003 Mercedes CLK 320 convertible. I love my car. However, I am having to trade it in because of rust problems! The car has only 28,000 miles and has been kept in covered garaged parking when not in use. Both doors started rusting at the very bottom about a year ago. Mercedes says it is out of warranty and the repairs will be upwards of $5,000. I am very disappointed with Mercedes and sad to have to get rid of my car.

We put in two vehicles in for repairs. Both were charged $310 each for diagnoses. Both were not fixed first time around. They did not even test drive the vehicle before the handed it back. Both vehicles charged for parts that were changed which did not fix the original problem. I would not recommend using this repair outlet unless you have deep pockets. Simple turbo charge problem ended up costing $11000.00. Worst workshop experience of my life. Same work shop couple of years ago did the brakes on my wife`s car and forgot to tighten the wheel nuts and my wife nearly lost the front two wheels on the freeway. Only stopped to check because the car was making too much noise which saved her life.

This dealership should be called the Pinocchio Mercedes Dealership because their deceptive practices are unbelievable. I leased a new Mercedes 2 weeks ago with the only requirement that Id be able to keep the same features of my 2019 car. They lied and cajoled me into a lease only to later find out that I had better features on my 2019 car. They agreed to return my car after going back and forth over the past two weeks after I was able to show that promises were made in writing that couldnt be delivered. So they promised to return my car that had 11,000 miles on it two weeks ago and take back the SUV that didnt have satellite radio or a decent set of speakers or the option of navigation. Today I return their car that I drove for 112 miles. They give me the key to my car which someone has driven almost 2,000 miles with all the filth of the employee that they allowed to drive my car. Everything about this place reminds you of a car dealership that relies on bait and switch sales. Even the manager, Katrina, who went out of her way to tell me that Mercedes would not take advantage of a senior citizen and that as an ** she treats everyone as she would want her ** older parents treated. This is not information that I solicited as clearly she was trying to demonstrate that she would never take advantage of senior citizens. Well if I was a betting woman I would bet that the only ** DNA that Katrina has is from an ** ancestor. The way a business treats current customers merely demonstrates how you will be treated if you lease or buy from this dealership. As a clinical psychologist I dont need to go out on a limb to tell you that if a person lies about something innocuous then they wont hesitate to lie to get your business. Shame on Mercedes for treating your customers with such disrespect and disdain. The fact that they couldnt be bothered to wash or vacuum a car that they drove to Timbuktu (in 2 weeks???) during a pandemic and never disclosed the wear and tear on my car by an employee tells you everything you need to know about Mercedes San Francisco!

I am so incredibly happy that I have chosen to purchase a Mercedes. I was on the fence a long time about it. My overall experience was pleasant. Im so thankful to have a car that I can trust to get me from point A to B. Its so reliable. I love all of its features. It has leather heated seats, great sound system, fancy sunroof for stargazing without being exposed to mosquitoes. I also trust the safety features it has. The rear wheel drive is the only thing I dont like about it, it is very difficult to drive on snowy conditions with rear wheel drive. If you are expecting to get up a snowy, icy hill, you better get a running start and hope its good enough.

First I had to wait more than a year to get this vehicle. Paid over 155K for GL63 AMG. Its only a month since I took the delivery and half of the time it was at dealership due to some issue. I was shocked to see the cheap quality on this expensive toy. Side running boards are lose, front grill Mod is flimsy, rear fender plastic is falling apart. Looks like it was hanged by using some kind cheap double tape. I use to have S600L, was a beautiful and solid vehicle but I will say Im not impressed with my recent GL63.

I took my car for maintenance where the only reason I went there is because the gentleman that sold me my cars I think is great, plus has great customer service. I pay for the maintenance package for my car. There were three items I had concerns with. The location kept my car there for two days and I am still not happy with the navigation system that shut down and was not working. Even after service I had to use my phone for navigation. My main concern was my tire and the guys from service said dont worry I will have that taken care of for you. I left feeling great thinking my car will be fixed. Navigation again not happy with but my tire was left as it is with more a lot of excessive air. Dangerous to even drive. I called corporate customer service. Was horrible and not comfortable to speak with. The case worker called me and it was a waste of my time. Hold is too long. Getting in touch with anyone in corporate is easy. Also, I called back asking to speak with someone else even asked for the General Manager and they said Ralph ** does not accept calls from customers? That was not customer service orientated at all. When I should not even pay a 200 tire it should have been replaced when its a tire leak. That is a bad tire which is not my fault. I was shocked on the customer service. Never had I had such horrible experience. One thing is that I would never buy another Mercedes ever again. That is only what I drive and would be the only car I drive, however they will lose a repeat loyal customer with this pity low class service. The case manager Justin did not even try to assist when I was not pleased with the situation, and they told me he doesnt report to anyone? That is false information and every customer has the right to speak with some else. They send me off with a defective bad tire which is not safe to commute in.

Have been having different issues with vibration on braking, worn front tires. Ive had my Mercedes S550 since 4/14 and I brought it into service 3 weeks ago to check the vibration and pulling to right. Service Tech. informs me its supposed to pull to right some and tire looked fine, dont need new tires. I just returned for my B service and Service calls to tell me I need 2 new front tires. Only $980 for 2 tires! I am furious. Needless to say I wont be replacing with Continental MOEs because of all the bad news out there about them and I wont be purchasing from Mercedes Benz! I do have photos for reference.

I have a 2009 Smart car and the paint top clear coat is peeling off all over the car. If you google this issue, you will see that many of the Smart cars have paint issues, especially the red ones (which mine is). I called the Smart headquarters and I was instructed to apply for the Goodwill out of warranty process. I went ahead and got the estimate from their approved Auto shop and submitted that. I received a call today from Adam from the Mercedes-Benz headquarters and my request to have the car painted was denied. I saved for 3 years to purchase that car new. It now looks terrible and Mercedes-Benz has to know that this is an issue with their Smart cars. So, now I ride around in a crappy looking car. When people ask me how I like my Smart car, I take them for a walk around my car and then inform them that Mercedes-Benz will not back this issue up. I am very disappointed with their customer service. You would think that it would make more sense for them to fix the problem, versus me riding around in a crappy looking Smart car. Clearly, they dont care about their customers and keeping them happy. I would never recommend any Mercedes-Benz dealership. I should have bought a Subaru based on their excellent customer service.

We were delivered this car in April 2017. After less than 10,000 we have had to replace 2 Tires. After many conversation with the Lawrenceville Dealership in NJ where we were told that indeed the car is too heavy for the tires. No solutions was offered other than for me to pay more money to have the tires changed. Mercedes is aware they are selling a defective product that can potentially be life threatening and they are doing nothing about it. I then e-mailed the corporate offices and was contacted by an agent who tried to work a resolution where we would still pay over 2000 and had to give those tires we paid a premium for, back to them (SCAM)... As a matter of principle and the fact that I can get better tires without them or their HELP... we refused the Great deal!! Nevertheless STAY AWAY... Looks like they dont care if you are stranded in the middle of no-where or if you die as the tires fall apart while you drive or like in my case while the car is parked in the garage!! Worse experience ever, I will get ready of this junk!!!

Last Sept. 2009, I leased a 3 year 2010 Mercedes ML-350 4matic. The water pump was replaced at the 5k mile mark. Both control arms were replaced at the 10k mile mark. The replacement resulted the off center steering wheel, corrected by miss-alignment with toe in adjustment, resulting in front premature tire wear and loss of correct vehicle handling characteristics. Steering wheel is still off center. The right front lamp marker error message detected at 10k mile mark one year ago is still not repaired. The left front brake wiring harness and sensor malfunctioned at 2 year mark with 18.5k miles. Both rear seat belt harnesses were defective from the factory, only the right one has been repaired.

Last week, I took my E200 (2006) in for servicing at the official dealer in Amman. They said it needed an oil change, filters and new spark plugs. The car was ready in the afternoon. On my way home, the engine was choking slightly, especially when I applied the throttle. I thought it could be a faulty spark plug and decided I would take it back the next morning. When I started the car the next morning, there was a rattling noise in the engine. I moved about 20 meters, there was no power. So I took it back into my garage and called the dealer. They sent me a mechanic who said the car must not be driven and should be taken back by winch. He said the two timing cogs above the engine were probably worn and the may need replacing. Two days later, they called me from the workshop to say they had changed these parts and also put in a new timing chain but when they started the engine, there was still a rattling noise which they thought was due to something wrong with the valves. They opened up the engine again and supposedly fixed everything. My bill for this, after discount, was a handsome J.D.2545 (Euros 2700)! I paid and went home. This was yesterday. This morning, on the way to work, the brake pedal suddenly went flat and the ABS light came on. Braking was lost for a few seconds. I was lucky I was going very slowly in a traffic jam and, as the car veered to the left, I didnt hit anyone. I slowly drove the remaining mile to my office. On the way, I lost the power in the steering for a while, then the ESP light came on. I really didnt know what was going on. They have just winched the car back to the workshop. My question is this: Is it normal for Mercedes metal teeth to wear out so badly after 125000 kilometers? I am 68 years old, have had a license for 50 years and was a car dealer myself at one point. I thought Mercedes was one the best made cars on the market and lived almost forever. I am shocked, indignant and really needing an explanation.

I am disappointed by the level of service provided by Mercedes Benz South Africa to their customers. I ordered a new C200 in September 2011. I got involved in an accident. My insurer approved the repairs and I took the car to the panel beaters. The insurers provided me with a courtesy car for a limited period.I thought I wouldnt have to walk very long thereafter. Unfortunately, Mercedes Benz did not have parts. I contacted national customer support after waiting more than a month. Parts have not arrived (confirmed with them and panel shop). I asked that I be provided with a courtesy car as I used the car to go to work. They refused and said it was not their fault. I say it is, because had they had parts, my car would be in my hands by now. They later told me the parts had arrived. Panel shop claimed to have received them last Monday (19/03/2011). Repairs will likely to take 3 more weeks. I am still a pedestrian.I loved Mercedes cars. I bought a Mercedes at a price and for, amongst other things, good service. That is what I expected. I value myself and as such prefer to deal with people and companies that value me. I thought Mercedes was among one of them. Was I wrong? Now I know. I may have to be associated with them for longer than I can endure. What a pity?

When you hear Mercedes you think, high end, great quality and understand expensive to repair. I received notice to replace the airbag. I went to a local Mercedes dealer for the service. In the process, I inquired about what it would cost to repair the drivers bottom seat that is ripping at the seam and what it would cost to replace the broken, Plastic passenger door sensor. I was quoted $450 dollars for 2 hours of labor to replace a sensor that pops into the socket. What a joke. Then after picking up the car from the airbag replacement, found that the driver window button, also Plastic was broken off.It was not broken when I dropped off the car. The dealership will not take responsibility. I have to say that I am really surprised that either the sensor or the window button are made as cheaply as they are. I dont understand why they would not be made of a more sturdy material given the name of the manufacturer. The lack of responsibility of the dealer for the damage they caused was definitely unexpected. If I thought, at one point, of getting a new Benz, it will not be a consideration now. Nothing like overpriced and lack of accountability. Thank You Mercedes.

My C300 Mercedes Benz with approximately 52,000 miles started to have an electrical problem about June 1, 2016. While driving at night, the headlights just went out: completely dark. I was very concerned about my safety, pedestrians and other drivers on the roads & highways. This problem occurred repeatedly over several nights and I decided not to drive at nights for next weeks. I took the car in to Mercedes-Benz of Miami (AutoNation) in Miami Gardens, FL. The diagnosis was that the wires to both headlamp units was corroded and would steadily deteriorate to where the headlights would become totally inoperable. This is outrageous that Mercedes Benz has used inferior quality electrical material that would corrode in a car with only 50,000 +/- miles. Of course, the repairs are not covered because the warranty expired at 4 years or 50,000 miles and the extended warranty expired 4 years ago. The cars sunroof also leaked and flooded inside my car on two (2) separate occasions. I paid the Dealerships to fix these leaks but the last repair was not done properly so now I have water and leaks every time it rains which is now nearly every other day during the summers here in South Florida. This leaves a damp, musty, moldy smell inside my car. Im unable to open the sunroof to dry out inside properly because the little PLASTIC lever broke as Id attempted to open the sunroof some months ago. Everything about Mercedes Benz quality has steadily declined to using inferior, cheap quality and plastic materials. That is why there is so many increase of RECALLS on all makes and models of Mercedes Benz cars and SUVs. Poor INNOVATION, PERFORMANCE & SERVICE: MBs Motto!! Customer Service Manager, Atlanta, Corporate Mercedes Benz USA offered a $260 - discount towards repairs to me, a twenty-eight(28) years loyal repeat Customer who has owned several Mercedes Benz cars since 1988! Rotor/breaks were changed after the car failed to stop on the highway. The car (Mercedes 2015 C300 4matic) has 2k miles. The vehicle didnt display any warning messages or lights indicating something was wrong with the car. This is the second time car has been returned to dealer. How I got here? When car was returned the first time, February 2015, the car had about 700 miles. My complain: It doesnt feel right driving the car. The worse is when I drive down in the parking garage in a deep decline as I am turning right I hear the cracking/squeaking noise. Dealer repaired exhaust; it was not mounted correctly from the factory. Also, I was told the car is new and rotor needs to be used - give the car some time. After I picked up the car, by the end of February 2015, I called and informed the service department that exhaust was not the problem. Car has the same issues. I called and followed up with the service department in several occasions, texted and even e-mailed a video of the problem to show in real time that the cracking squeaking noise has not been fixed and I as explained back then, it is getting worse. It felt driving in the wrong shift. Dealer said they will get back to me, but never did despite the fact I called several time. Car was not used March-April 2015 due to personal reasons. Early June 2015, brakes failed as I am driving on the highway @50 miles/hour. I live and drive in the city, usually about 10-30 miles/hour (rush hours). After the rotor/brake repair, I asked if this issue had to do with my prior complaints. I was told that there is nothing in the file to suggest that the cracking/squeaking noise was not fixed the first time car was returned, nor shows any calls or correspondence with the service department. I was told that I didnt complain about the brakes. I am not a mechanic, nor I pretend to be, I said to dealer. When I complained about the car, I expected the dealer to identify the problem. I even took a video as I was driving so they can see and listen to cracking squeaking sound of the car.Although dealer has replaced brake and rotor, I have not heard a word about the cracking squeaking sound. Also sometimes when I reverse the car it dials somehow SOS call center. Yes, a new 2015 C300, 2k miles, several issues including major safety concerns ones. Anyone is experiencing this issues? I am a woman, and the reason I have only purchased new cars is so I dont have to worry about things I dont understand. Instead, I feel trapped and scared. I have contacted MB-USA. Looking forward to hearing from them.

I purchased my 2008 Mercedes Benz S450. I bought it 17 months ago and have had it in the shop 12 times. Yep. It’s true. The S450 nearly identical to the S550 but it’s a Canada-only edition. It has all the same features as an S550 but a slightly smaller engine therefore less gas consumption (not that I could care less). Within the 1st month, I had it back to the dealership for a $6,000 replacement of the GPS. With only 50,000 km on it (approx. 31,068 miles). It went downhill from there. Somewhere in there I lost my key and the replacement took six weeks and cost $406.13. Currently the catalytic converter is shot on the right hand side (there are 2) and that lovely quote has come in at $2,481 to replace. Cant wait until the other side goes. Sure people stare at this car as I drive by, beautiful lady with long blonde hair driving a high-end vehicle but it sure hasnt been worth it. Im making car payments about $1,000 a month and not only are the regular oil changes brutal ($500 on average) but there are a number of things wrong with the car that were wrong since the day I bought it that the mechanic cant troubleshoot because it doesnt seem to make that noise when he drives it. This includes the Distronic arbitrarily shutting off even on the highway on sunny days with no inclines on the roadway and no traffic with the car being washed just earlier that morning so nothing in the way of road grime. Go figure. The seat never worked properly since day one but since I didnt think the seats performed with the auto-inflation when you turned a corner, I never raised it up with the dealership. Then it cost me $500 after arguing back and forth because they said I broke it. By the way, the reason I never knew the seats were supposed to have this feature is because not only did it not work when I test-drove the vehicle and then bought it but the salesman was having surgery the day I bought the vehicle, and no one explained to me the various features. Ive been reading the very thick and complicated manual trying to see what features my car does have and thats how I found out. Again, when I went back to say it wasnt working since day one the dealership thought I was trying to scam them. Out of frustration I paid the $500 (half the cost) to get the seat fixed but believe me, I will take a polygraph test and prove the seat never worked since day one. I could never re-sell this car with a broken seat so I bucked up and had it fixed. I also take meticulous car of this vehicle and dont like things not working on it. Im exhausted but I still owe $40,000 on the car loan and Im locked in to this nightmare. Would I buy another one? No, of course not. I have owned two Chryslers before this, and NEVER had to pay this kind of maintenance and the one Chrysler 300C is a 2005, has over 400,000 km on it and Im lucky if Ive had to pay $3,000 in total for things that have need replacing. So, looking at the stack of receipts and work orders from the last 18 months, Ive got another three and a half years of payments to go on this thing and then Im free. Come on Mercedes. Stop creating new vehicles and advertising them on TV when you have a mountain of issues from the past to have to resolve. If I ran my company this way, Id be bankrupt and in jail.

On June I bought a Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG. After about a week of having the car a check engine light was on, took the car to the dealer and after a couple of days the dealer told me the problem was fix and it was only a bad sensor. After another couple of week the check engine light was on again; took the car to the dealer and after about a week of having the car I was informed that the 4 fuel injectors had to be change. Car was good for about 3 weeks. After that once again check engine light went on; took the car to the dealer one more time and this time is was the fuel pump that was replaced. I express to the dealer I was very unhappy with the situation. After going back and forth with the dealer about the situation, they told me I had to open a complaint with Mercedes-Benz USA by calling a 1-800 number. I did that and after and received a call from a MB regional manager that told me they review my complaint and were not able to assist me with my problem and explain me that if I wanted to get something done further I shall get legal counseling because they were very firm on their position. After all this I decided to move the page and get rid of the car. I purchase a BMW, which I had always have for many years and never had a problem with. This whole nightmare cost me 30 thousand dollars.

I have to tell you I am grateful that I only have one year left in payment but MB lost a loyal customer. I am done with your brand. I have nothing good to say about your brand or product. No, I take that back. There is. 72 year old semi retired gentleman in customer service that had great spirit and customer service. I could see the young service men treat him unfavorable. On November 2011, my 2005 SLK350 stopped shifting out of first gear. I had car towed to EuroMotors, and they did diagnostic test for $105.00. They told me it would be $4,331.15 to fix. I called a local import repair shop and had it towed to them. The owner of the shop has had the car for 2 months, trying to get parts from Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes keeps saying the repair parts are back-ordered and that Mercedes dealerships get them first. I spoke to a Mercedes service manager in California, who informed me that this transmission valve body and intake manifolds are widespread problems with their cars. I then called MB of North America, and they denied there was a widespread problem and that there is no recall. They told me that the independent import repair owner can order these parts. The owner of the repair shop has called every dealership in the tri-state area and was being told he cant order the parts needed to repair my little red car that I have painstakingly paid for over the last 5 years.I had car towed again to MB Keenan Motors, and they said they have to do a diagnostic test. I told them I already did that and would have results sent to them. No, they said, cant accept tests from different dealership. I have been told that the transmission is a widespread problem, and yet, MB will not recall. I would like to research a class-action suit.

The brake sensor light came on in my Mercedes 350 ML. I stopped driving the car and took it in for service. When quoted a price, they said that not only do I need my brakes changed, but I need the rotors changed as well. I asked then what was the purpose of the brake sensor light if by the time it went on, the brakes were so worn that it affected the rotors. The response was that I should have brought the car in for service earlier. I have had numerous problems with this car. The door for the gas tank fell off. The service agent accused me of breaking it off. Why I would do something like this, I am not sure. The rear seat belts continually get stuck, endangering the safety of my children. The console between the two front seat squeaks. The rear view mirror is loose. All minor problems, but something you do not anticipate in a car of this type.

I purchased my first Mercedes Benz, 2007 GL450 in 2010 from CarMax in Louisville. The car is very nice in luxury but has been a money pit from day one! After thousands of dollars in repairs, I still owe $12k and cannot afford to sell it with all the issues it has. I still need about $8000.00 more in repairs!Well, last night I drove to dinner with some friends. Approx. 45 miles rt. I parked it in my garage at 6:30pm. At 12:30 am I went out to the garage to take the trash out before retiring for the night and I felt heat from the Mercedes as if it had been in the sun for hours. I felt the hood and it was very hot on the right side of the front hood. So I pulled it outside the garage, in case of a fire! Mercedes does not intend to help me with this issue. I will have to call a tow truck today and be without my car. I was suppose to work in Chicago this week. Now I cannot. This is going to cost me loss in pay and tons of money. I am in fear of my life, but is need to work! I just read several reviews that this model has caught fire and destroyed homes and lives. I dont know where to turn for help. MB needs to recall these cars! ASAP! Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

I own a 1999 Mercedes-Benz ML320 truck. On 13 Aug 2011, a 20-feet wooden telephone pole was lying on a badly-lit street in the middle of the night. No one knows how it got there. Driving 45 miles per hour, (speed limit is 45 mph) I hit it with the front of my car. Then the pole went under my bumper resulting into a broken steering column and a bent car frame. My air bags, however, did not deploy. When I asked Mercedes why the bags did not open, they said that it only opens when hit in certain spots. In the end, my car was totaled by the insurance company.

I purchased a 2015 CLS 400 4MATIC with less than 7500 miles. After driving the vehicle for a week, I noticed a small grill for the dash temperature sensor missing. I took it to MB of Boston in Somerville, MA. I trusted that would be cover under factory warranty because I purchased this vehicle with an obvious factory defect, the dealership declined the warranty repair, instead quoted me $1200 to replaced the small vent on the dash without no explanation, the dealership make no effort to remedy the problem to ensure customer satisfaction. I was heartbroken to be told that it would not. I reached out to MBUSA customer relations, I was told a number of time theyre going to call the dealership to work it out with them and get back to me. Since then Ive been trying to reach MBUSA no one from the dealership or MBUSA has contacted me or made any attempt to remedy this situation.

Bought a year old pre owned. In the 2 years of ownership I have only had 1 repair needed. And I drive more than 12k per year. Former car was a couple of 750LIS and they were in repair shop at least once a month for various small and pricey repairs. All were under warranty but I knew to offload them before warranty ran out. Build quality of the S550 is exceptional and without compromise. It is extremely comfortable and quite brisk. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

If I could give no stars - I would. I bought a used SLK (2 years old) with the usual approved mercedes talk that went with it and at the check list showing what work had been carried out before I took delivery. The salesman told me that it was one owner. Turned out to be two when the log book arrived. Mercedes are washing their hands of this lie as the sales man has now left, although I did tackle him before he left and he was looking into it.The tyres were delivered with the check list showing 6mm. 5 months and a puncture later they were 2mm. Again Mercedes have no interest as the tyres are still legal and are not taking any responsibility for my tyres evaporating. I have done 1000 miles in this time. No way on earth have they used 4mm tread, but Mercedes wont budge. They are legal and thats it. I had a wheel taken off and it had to be hit with a hammer to move it. The mechanic recommended I had them greased during my next service, but on the check list it is showing that they had been removed and greased. The car now sticks in a low gear when travelling in slow traffic. Its been back to Mercedes twice. They havent found a fault and apparently no fault is showing on the computer but they have done 200 miles in my car to check it and the last time was delivered back to me covered in mud. I am 4 miles away from the service centre. They have offered to pay for me to have it cleaned (take to a car wash effectively). This is the worst service I have had from anyone anywhere. Mercedes customer service are just weird with their random phone calls that last about an hour but resolve nothing. They dont care about their customers and that it pretty much it. Ive told them that what they need to say is Im very sorry that you are unhappy and we will make sure that your queries are responded to and explained. Rather than their very defensive attitude of the car is legal, the salesman has left - what happened to the customer is king. I will never buy another car from them. Id rather take a bus.

40,840 Mile service on 2012 E-350. We had our 7 year (70,000 Mi.) service but only 40,840 miles on vehicle completed at Mercedes of Hilton Head which cost $785.46. All prior services, from our purchase in 2012 with 12,000 miles, completed at Mercedes of Hilton Head. They discounted this to $657.37 after I raised heck for billing me $6 for washer fluid I had just filled. The year before the annual service was $902.90. Then I got the breakdown on additional recommendations as follows 1) Replace Transmission mount found collapsed $254.09, 2) Repack and adjust front wheel bearings $518.97, 3) Reseal Left Front Cylinder Head Cover $278.27, 4) Reseal Both Left Side Cam Magnets $291.28, 5) Reseal Right Front Cylinder Head Cover $293.18, 6) Reseal Both Cam Magnets on Right Cylinder Head $395.58 For a total of $2031.37.The last year we put on 4,000 miles with no mention of any of these issues in prior years. While I understand somewhat (again usually 100,000 miles) the repacking needs, the other two items were completely a failure of the vehicle to perform properly and unusual failure (I would hope) of things that I have had cars with over 150,000 miles without issues. I called Corporate, after the dealer gave no assistance, as I thought those repairs should be covered with such low mileage and care given to the car throughout its life. They offered $600 off if all service was completed at the dealership. Ive had a Buick that was 2 years out of warranty with 42,000 miles engine replacement all the way to the torque converter because of the engine failure and cost me $100.00. I always thought Mercedes was a quality vehicle, and I was sadly mistaken. Do NOT Buy Mercedes.

Purchased my 2014 C300 a week ago. Has 10,000 miles. Traded in my 2011 C300 with 75k miles. Had 2 other previous Mercedes also, 2002, 2009. All had approx 75k miles when traded and NEVER an issue with previous 3 cars. 2014 has the ECO start/stop feature which if you research is not a FEATURE but a problem. Roadside Assistance tech who came out yesterday to try to assist me was floored when he could not even jump start it as he believed the starter was gone. He called Tow company, who also could not jump and gave same opinion, crazy that the starter could be gone! The ECO start/stop is believed to be the cause and if you read other problems it does a number on the wear of a battery and starter due to the excessive starting and stopping compared to vehicles without this!!! VERY IRATE AND DISAPPOINTED out of my new car for 2 days and everyone is sorry for my inconvenience.

M-benz will hurt you. After my wife having a major electronic failure came home quite shaken just after leasing the Mercedes Benz sl63 AMG, I had the car checked. They said there were no error messages in the computer to collaborate her statements of the lights and the gauges going crazy inside and out of the car, with numerous error codes coming up. We later found out Mercedes Benz has their on board computer set to reboot with critical failure there by wiping the memory clean of the event. After other numerous electronic failures and not getting Mercedes to fix or even acknowledge them, even with photos and video, we were almost killed one night on the open highway on Oct 7 2013 when the same event that happened to wife finally occurred with me in the car. When the electronics went on rampage and freak-out lights flashing, bells dinging, flashing error codes and emergency message causing me to try to get the car on the shoulder of the road, I struck a piece of tire left on the road probably by a truck. It took the whole front of the car out. After 6 weeks of waiting for our car I called Fletcher Jones in Nevada. They told me they could not get the error codes to clear but not to worry, they were going to get it cleared up. 2 weeks later we got the car. I asked what it took to get the codes cleared up, he smiled and said the tech crashed the on board computer and it reset itself. When we drove the car back home from Vegas we had transmission trouble and error codes. I called Fletcher Jones in Las Vegas Nevada. They told me to take the car to Fletcher Jones in Ontario, 15 miles from our home in Verdemont CA. They kept the car for a few days and when they returned it they said there was nothing wrong with the transmission and there were no error codes. After several trips back to the dealership, half of the time they would not take the car. They refused to keep it till it was fixed and they would call me when the part came in. Before the part came in we were informed that my father in-law was on his death bed. I called, explained the situation and asked if they could expedite the part so we could take the car back east. I was informed by party dial that their main tech guy, George, said the car was safe to take back east the way it was.On our way out to pa, when we reached Flagstaff we started to have problems with the trunk not closing and the trunk opening while driving on the highway. By St Louis we had electrical problems and the trunk would not lock or close after opening. We drove to pa with trunk wired shut. While in pa the car was at Mercedes 4 times in 5 weeks. We were forced to stay an extra week waiting for parts to come in. We were told that the electronics were screwed up in the front of the car. Just outside to Amarillo Texas the same thing happened with the electronics that caused the accident and damage to the front of the car in October 7 2013. This time we caught it on video. We almost made it to the side of the road just before the car stopped running and went dark. The car coasted to a stop. We had no cell reception. We waited in the car for awhile. Out of desperation I tried to start the car and it sprang to life like nothing happened. Thank god we got this on video. It DID not matter to Mercedes Benz when I sent the video to Fletcher Jones in Ontario. They said not to bring in the car, they would show the video and Mercedes Benz and get back to us. They never DID!!! So much for the mantra the best or nothing.

I purchased an E class in 2008, and got the hard sell about the extended limited warranty from the salesman, so I purchased it for more than $3,500, believing what the finance manager told me that it would be refundable, if the vehicle was sold or traded in before the extended limited warranty went into effect. In December 2010, my husband decided to trade in the vehicle, because an illness prevented me from driving it, and I requested a refund of the warranty as the vehicles factory warranty would not expire until April 2012. The dealer referred me to Mercedes Benz USA and they told me that the warranty was not refundable, as the warranty only allowed me to cancel 60 days after I bought the brand new car with a 4 year factory warranty. I kept telling them that this did not make sense and the 60 day rule for the refund would logically begin 60 days after the extended warranty went into effect. Mercedes corporate absolutely refused to budge from their position, and have pocketed my $3,500, without doing anything for my money. I have been a loyal MB customer for 20 years, and have purchased 5 vehicles in that time frame, and I find it unacceptable that the big international Mercedes corporation found it necessary to keep my money.

In Nov 2014 I notice the paint on my car was cloudy. I took it to the dealership and there was a recall. The car was in the shop for almost 2 months and when I got the car back there were so many defects - I marked them and took it back to the dealer where the owner of the paint shop showed up. They took the car back cause there is so much orange peel and defects and I got it back one day later. The car looks worse than before now with swirl marks and a haze look. I have been trying to get someone at Mercedes to help out but no luck. I just came back from the dealership and the sales manager of Mercedes Benz of South Orlando ** even said he would not be happy with the car and has been trying to reach my case manager with no luck. I told him I should not have to be dealing with this and he told me the dealership does not own the car, Mercedes Benz of America does and there is nothing he can do.Beware of buying a Mercedes as thru what I have gone thru they do not care about the customer once they sell or lease you a car. I have and do own other high end cars and have never had a bad experience with them as I have with Mercedes. The dealership offered me to trade it in on a 2015 after I already have around $36000 in this car that only has 16,000 miles on it. How in my right mind would I EVER BUY OR LEASE ANOTHER MERCEDES. I will keep all posted if Mercedes decides to do the right thing.

I got a very nice Mercedes Benz new B Class - a demo vehicle that has less than 3k on it and its diesel. A reasonable price deal was agreed upon and according to the MB dealer, fuel filler would be sorted before collection. No chance. Two fuel flaps later and after they have collected (Greenoaks Slough) and put a chip on my windscreen, they cant fix it to get it fitting correctly. MB customer services wont do anything and say its the way the vehicle is designed. Yes. They do MB cars with bits that dont fit. This is my first MB, I am very pleased with the car but not the after sales. This is no better than a back street car lot with a second hand car salesman. I had a C class loan vehicle while they had a look at my vehicle and its fuel filler flap is just perfect. I know its a different model but the principle is the same. It also proves that MB cant do it right. Why, MB? Never again, Im afraid!

My vacuum pump and hydraulic system on the trunk locking mechanism has failed. Cannot open trunk with any of the three methods of design. The Dealer laughed at me and said it would cost me over three thousand dollars to fix everything and that was a guess. No help at all other than they said I had to drill out the key hole with tumblers and try to manually open it that way. So I drilled out the mechanism on a car that cost over 120,000 thousand dollars to get into my trunk. Now the problem is the dealer would not code my key to a used lock and said I had to buy one from them at over 500 dollars and they would key that one to my lock. Then I would still have to pay to fix the vacuum pump and hydraulic pump to use my trunk. Frustrated due to the fact of price gouging and poor design from the engineers to make a trunk that is very difficult to open. I cannot lock my car or trunk because it has a smart key that is extremely difficult to use. I will never buy another Mercedes-Benz car again. I will also encourage everyone I know not to buy one.

Car towed to dealership where I have been told the transmission is gone. I do have a warranty on this car; however; I was told that they could not locate a transmission in the whole United States. You reviewed in the last week Quality Poor to Fair Appeal, Poor to Fair Service, Poor to Fair. I was very displeased with my last two services. Last time, they left three bolts out of the pan causing a rattle and a bolt out of the center brace at the top center rear of the engine. This is a brace that you would remove to change the air filters. On the service done today, the service rep Barry told my wife she needed $8,000 worth of repairs and she had him call me. I asked Barry what needed to be repaired. He said, For starters, you havent had your transmission serviced in 40000 miles. I said, Are you sure? He said according to his records and the service department records, it had not been serviced. Well Barry, I have a bill here that said I had the transmission serviced the last time I was there. He told me I had a serious oil leak at the oil cooler. In the last 10000 miles, the oil did not drop as much as a fraction of a quart. I normally wash my own car, check my oil and keep the area under the hood spotlessly clean. If I had all the oil leaks that he told me I had, I would notice. I will now take my car to one of the best transmission specialist I know and see if they really serviced my transmission last time. I have another Mercedes Benz that I have had for 27 years that was purchased at Snyders when they had the dealership and then I paid for the transmission to be serviced four times over the years and twice at Carlton in Greenville, SC. The transmission failed and I found out that that transmission had never been serviced once even though I have service records to prove that I had. I thought I had finally found an honest MB dealer in Mercedes of South Charlotte but I am pretty sure there is no such thing as an honest MB dealer. It is impossible to send your wife to have a car serviced and expect a fair deal. Its not an issue of money as I can certainly afford what I want. I am just tired of being ripped off. I met the owner and his son and I was really impressed that I had found a dealer I could trust but I can tell you now, run, run as fast as you can away from an MB dealer. They were concerned about the review I wrote on this site. The details, facts and SAFETY CONCERN were once again ignored. This conversation when I spoke I was cut off, when I raised my voice I was threatened the call would end. I was to shut up and listen. Then the 2 yrs, not 1 yr I apologized to her and attempted, case in point, rear brakes never went out. Cut off! I attempted to explain how 2 yrs ago I was to accept what had happened by Fletcher Jones, the only reason I brought back up why was the rear brakes never gave out. But I was cut off. My advice: Do not question Fletcher Jones or Mercedes Benz. If you are not willing to accept their shut up and take it. My intelligence belittled, I was blamed, I have been blacklisted. Trust me, its not worth it.Original Review: I took my car to be serviced to Fletcher Jones Mercedes Las Vegas. It’s a 1000 miles round trip. The service advisor called me and told me my front brakes and rotors were so bad. If I did not authorize the work to be done the only way my car would leave there would be on a trailer. And rear brakes were all most gone. I was taken by surprise, shocked! A short time before making the trip FIRESTONE had inspected my car (I buy my tires from them) and they said down the road front brakes and and rotors would need changed out. But no service light on dash no squeaking or pulsating while braking, But being taken by surprise I authorized the work to be done. When I arrived back from Las Vegas I took my car to FIRESTONE. I informed them of my experience at the Mercedes service. They asked when did the brake light come on the dash. I said it never did. They asked about any squeaking, pulsating. I replied that did not occur. They inspected the rear brakes and said the rear brakes are fine. I contacted Fletcher Jones and they refused to do anything. I was upset to be cheated but I let it go.Well over a year later now! My rear brakes are still fine. So I wanted justice for being lied to and cheated out of $1400 (apx). I contacted Fletcher Jones and they offered nothing except they wanted my business back. Whatever right? So I had a garage where I live who supposedly services Mercedes to just change the oil. Well that was a joke. It took over an hour for them to find Mercedes do not take normal oil. Anyways got the oil changed. I called Fletcher Jones and said ok you can check to see if they changed the oil correctly. She agreed. But would not offer to do it for free. I later declined. I just can’t go back where I was cheated and lied to.So I reached out to Mercedes I explained in detail what happened. Debbie from Mercedes responded that Mercedes technicians know what they are doing. And basically that’s that. She obviously did not read the message but I responded about his I was obviously cheated by fact and detail representing my case. Not a response. Being ignored I wrote a few more messages only to be yet ignored. I go to write a review on the official Mercedes Benz site and they rejected my review so on the same official Mercedes Benz site I went to like a live chat and the Mercedes Benz on the official site. Told me that I was not on the official site I sent her screenshots and reminded her that we are messaging on the official Mercedes Benz site. She refused to say anything except call customer service. So attempting that and reaching out to Debbie w/ Mercedes Benz I am not able to talk to anyone or receive any messages.I called fletcher Jones and the voice mail box of the manager is full. I called the service dept and after a a long duration of the phone ringing finally I received the voicemail of the service advisor who cheated me out of my time and money. I hung up like she’s really going to help. In short I have been blacklisted from Mercedes Benz as well as Fletcher Jones Mercedes Benz for not accepting their policy and cheating me.

The Good- I brought my first GLE-350 Mercedes in September of 2016. I love the look and thought the Customer Service would match the luxury feel of the car and it did, until it didn’t. I attempted to give a jump start to another driver at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak and my beautiful SUV started displaying “Inoperable”. I called Roadside Assistance and Michael from the Bloomfield Hills location came to my rescue, literally. Michael, was great. He diagnosed the issue with my SUV. He stayed with me and explained the issue to the towing companies. His expertise and professionalism was phenomenal. Michael use his expertise to force my car into neutral even though another Mercedes representative stated that it couldn’t be done. My SUV was dropped-off Sunday evening at the Novi location near my home. Michael called me Monday morning to inform me that he explained what was going on with my SUV to the service tech at the Novi location. I called the Bloomfield Hills location to inform the Manager, Steve on how great Michael has been to me. I told Steve that because of Michael’s great customer service skills I wouldn’t mind staying with the Mercedes brand. The Bad & the Ugly-I arrived at the Novi location at 9:00AM to see what was going on with my GLE-350. I was greeted by Serica, so I asked about the status of my SUV. Serica told me she just started at 9:00AM as she checked her computer. Serica stated that it was assigned to a technician and without an appointment I was lucky to get in. Also, that she would call me with any updates. I thought to myself since I’m already here why wouldn’t she ask the technician the status. Two minute after I left, Serica called and told me the parts had to be ordered and that it would take 4 days. I asked Serica for a loaner car.Four days was a long time and I need a car for work. Serica, stated that no cars were available and that I would have had to book a car two weeks in advance. If I would have known two weeks ago that I was going to blow a fuse in my SUV then I would have planned. I called again on Tuesday, and asked for a Manager. I spoke with Johnathan to see if I could get a loaner car for work. I was highly disappointed in the customer service at the Novi location. Johnathan haven’t returned my call from 9:30AM Tuesday morning. On the other, Serica called to tell me that they are hoping to receive the part sooner than 4 days. In the meantime, I have a credit on my account because I paid my SUV bill for the remaining year with no car to drive. I truly expected Mercedes customer service to be best-in-class. I have driven an Acura for years and Acura’s customer service is top-of the-line. I really thought with a slogan like “Drive the best or nothing”’ the customer service would surpass the rest and be the best, boy was I wrong.

This experience is from Finland. Last year, we purchased a new MB180B and the next day we got the car, I had to get it back to the dealer. I had problems starting the car, and when I finally got it going, it was twitching forcefully. When the engine became warmer, the problem was gone. At the workshop, they started to study the car, but nothing was wrong according to the car computer. But the guy from the workshop said that he thinks there are problems with a component called crankshaft sensor. So, he ordered a replacement component, but then things started to be really strange. The factory said that they will not deliver that component, and I asked why. They told me that this particular component is on the do not deliver list. Finally, they told us that there will be a new different component as a replacement.Well at this point, I made a claim against this and the reason is that a manufacturer is not allowed to deliver cars or any constructions if they know that there is a failed component in it. Or at least they are supposed to inform the customer of this possible problem and then he can decide what to do with it. Anyway, after a few days, I got the car back and now everything is okay, and so on. It wasnt. The same problem came back. The car was back in the work shop, and this has gone now several times. At the moment the car is at the work shop. I already told them earlier that they should get me a new car to replace this one or give me my money back. They told me that is totally an unreasonable claim. A new car which doesnt work, is it so unreasonable to expect that new cars should be okay? Also, during this experience, it has been really hard to get in contact with anyone. The dealer is totally worthless. The car importer is really hard to deal with and the manufacturer in Germany doesnt answer in any messages. The first one I sent half a year ago. Now, I have a lawyer to take care this, and I also took contact with LRQA (Lloyds) who have certified their ISO9001 based management system.Of course, I am angry about the car itself, but also because of this habit of delivering cars included with components that they have themselves declared on not-to-deliver. I was told by them that it is totally normal to replace these kinds of components during a normal service. Actually it is not. It is a hidden/silent recall, and that is against the law and against the ethics as well. We will see what happens. But I would like to give a warning for all possible car buyers of this kind of actions from Mercedes-Benz.

I took three vacations in this rig and had DEF warning problems two of the trips. I have owned it 6 weeks and have 5,000 miles on it. 1st was Def contamination and then going into countdown mode. 2nd trip and Low Def warning. Went into countdown and quit. Road service left me on the highway for 4 hrs in 90* heat. I had to call a wrecker myself. Driver told me he was called 3 hrs ago and they did not know what the interstate even was, and they would not pay his price. I am sitting in a hotel in Ohio waiting on the dealer to give me an answer or I start driving a Enterprise rental the 1400 miles back home. No offer of a loaner from anyone. I racked up $3,000 in expenses here. MB says to save the receipts to present to a board that decides in 30 days if they qualify. This is a LEMON. I want MB to buy it back. If not, I start getting rid of the 6 MB we already own.

What are they going to do?

First of all, I wish I had known about this site when my incident first took place. I just want to share my experience with everyone so that people can be aware when purchasing a Mercedes Benz. I plan on speaking out on every single forum out there, and if it can help even one person, then I will be satisfied. I live in Los Angeles and purchased a brand new E350 in 2007. Just a few month after the purchase (around 10,000 miles on the odometer? ), I was driving down the freeway when the car came to a sudden stall. The engine completely died, and I could not get it started back up. I was in the second lane from the inside, and the freeway was full of drivers speeding at 70-80 mph. Unable to get out of my car, I watched vehicles behind me careening to a sudden stop or jerking to rapidly change lanes. It was truly a frightening experience.I called 911 to report the incident then AAA to get a tow truck. The CHP arrived within about 15 minutes to help divert traffic away from my car as I was at a dead stop in the middle of a 5-lane freeway. The officers alerted me that it is too dangerous to stand still in the middle of the freeway and that they needed to immediately move my car off the freeway. Since they didnt have towing capability, the only way for them to do that was for them to push the car from the back with their squad car while I steered towards the nearest exit. Without getting too dramatic, I will say that this was probably the most frightening experience of my life. Luckily, no one was injured, and the car just suffered a lot of scratches on the rear bumper as a result of it being pushed by the police car.I wrote to MBUSA and explained the entire experience plus access to the police records. They offered absolutely no sympathy. They didnt even offer a nice gesture by offering to fix the scratches which would have cost approximately a few hundred dollars - pocket change to them. They didnt see any seriousness to the incident. I could have been seriously injured, and I could have caused serious injury to other motorists on the freeway that day. The message that they were sending to me was clear: I am an isolated incident to them, so I do not matter at all. Theyre a big, powerful company with millions of other buyers, so of course they dont care. How nice. Im the familys third generation of MB driver, and I will most certainly be the last.

My husband and I were very interested in buying a Mercedes Sprinter van but
My husband and I were very interested in buying a Mercedes Sprinter van but before taking the plunge we decided to rent a 2011 Sprinter. I am very glad we did because I would NOT want to own this vehicle due to MAJOR safety considerations. Also, we had a VERY poor experience with one of the service advisor of this dealership. This is our story: We were traveling through Southern Oregon and were climbing one of the steep grades of I-5 heading into Grants Pass. Suddenly, we heard a loud “pop” and the Sprinter suddenly lost power. We were in the left lane and had to quickly try to get over. We barely missed getting rear ended by a car and then a big rig. It was terrifying. We managed to get off the Interstate near Hugo, Oregon. We didn’t know it at the time but the Sprinter’s computer deliberately put the van into “limp mode”. This means that the vehicle has a fraction of the power it normally has. When we found a safe place to park, we pulled over and contacted Mercedes Emergency Roadside Assistance. They told us that it would be 2 hours before a tow arrived to take the incapacitated van and us to the M-B Dealership in Medford. We called the M-B Dealership in Medford and let them know what was happening. While we were waiting for the tow, my husband accessed information on the internet and learned that this was likely to be an issue with the Sprinters turbocharger connection to the engine. There seems to be a variety of ways that the turbocharger on this van fails. Some of these failures result in expensive maintenance issues BUT some of them make this van dangerous to drive. My husband told the M-B what he thought the issue might be with this van. Turns out that he was basically correct. We asked the Service Advisor to let us know what was happening with the repair as soon as she knew anything. Not ONCE did this Service Advisor contact us to tell us what was happening in the subsequent 2 days. We were fortunate enough to call and reach another Service Advisor who kindly told us that the problem WAS the connection between the Turbo and the Sprinter’s engine and that it would take about 4 hours to repair.I later called the Service Manager and tried to figure out if there was a reason why the Service Advisor never bothered to return our calls. Of course, the Service Manager never called me back. Given the reputation M-B has for superior customer service, I was a little perplexed at this situation but later came to the conclusion that if you are frequently dealing with unhappy M-B vehicle owners, you probably learn not to return phone calls. In summary, I was so upset at this life threatening experience and the callous way the Service Advisor treated us that I would never buy a Mercedes vehicle and I will do what I can to warn anyone to stay away from the Sprinter van.

Moved my Mercedes A160 auto to wash it. Washed it, got back in car and it wouldnt start. Ignition key turned but the starter motor was inoperative. Breakdown- took it to main Mercedes dealer for repair under warranty. After a working on the car over the weekend and most of Monday, service manager decided there was a fuse missing. If there was a fuse missing, why did it take Mercedes trained mechanics all weekend (managers words not mine) and most of the following day, to locate a missing fuse, when the fuse panel is staring you in the face underneath the drivers side carpet. Charged me £171. Complete rip off. Will never entertain Mercedes again.
