Find big savings on Mercedes Automobile(s) at Auto Helpers. Low Prices.

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class remains one of the most versatile and practical models in the brand’s compact SUV lineup, bridging the gap between the smaller GLA and the larger GLC. Known for its squared-off shape, optional three-row seating, and upscale technology, the 2025 model refines these strengths with subtle design updates, mild-hybrid technology, and expanded standard features. It continues to serve as a smart choice for buyers seeking Mercedes luxury with genuine family-friendly functionality.

The exterior of the 2025 GLB-Class retains its signature upright, boxy design—a deliberate contrast to the curvier styling of other Mercedes SUVs. The tall greenhouse, pronounced fenders, and short overhangs give it a rugged, purposeful look reminiscent of larger off-road-oriented models like the G-Class. For 2025, the GLB receives refreshed front and rear fascias, new LED headlight and taillight designs, and an updated grille pattern featuring integrated chrome elements and a bolder central star. Wheel options now range from 18 to 20 inches, and new paint colors have been introduced, offering more opportunities for customization.

Despite its compact dimensions, the GLB’s box-like shape translates into excellent interior space and versatility. The cabin layout continues to emphasize practicality and visibility, with a high seating position that offers a commanding view of the road. One of the model’s biggest advantages is its available third-row seating—a rare feature in the compact luxury segment. While the third row suits children or shorter trips, it provides flexibility that many competitors cannot match. When folded down, it expands the already generous cargo area, giving the GLB impressive utility for daily errands, travel, or active lifestyles.

Inside, the 2025 GLB-Class adopts Mercedes’ latest interior technology and materials. The cabin is dominated by a dual 10.25-inch digital display setup, integrating both the instrument cluster and infotainment system under a single glass panel. The latest version of the MBUX software offers improved voice recognition, touch functionality, and faster system response. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, and over-the-air updates ensure the software remains current.

Mercedes has refined the cabin materials, offering high-quality upholstery, metallic accents, and soft-touch surfaces throughout. Standard ambient lighting, turbine-style air vents, and a redesigned steering wheel with touch-sensitive controls further elevate the premium feel. Practical details, such as numerous storage compartments, adjustable seating configurations, and large door pockets, ensure that comfort and convenience go hand in hand.

Under the hood, the 2025 GLB-Class continues with the brand’s turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, now paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. This addition improves efficiency and responsiveness by providing brief boosts of electric power during acceleration and allowing smoother stop-start operation. The engine delivers approximately 221 horsepower, sent through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission for quick, precise shifts. Front-wheel drive remains standard, with Mercedes’ 4MATIC all-wheel drive available for enhanced traction and stability.

Performance in the GLB 250 remains strong for a compact SUV. The mild-hybrid system enhances low-speed torque and overall drivability, while the suspension tuning strikes a balance between comfort and composure. The steering is light yet accurate, making the vehicle easy to maneuver in tight urban settings but stable and confident at highway speeds. The 4MATIC system distributes torque intelligently, ensuring control on slippery roads and adding a layer of confidence in challenging weather conditions.

Fuel efficiency improves slightly thanks to the mild-hybrid technology, with the GLB now offering better real-world economy without compromising performance. The vehicle also benefits from reduced vibration and improved refinement due to the electric assist system, making the cabin quieter and smoother during city driving.

Safety and driver-assistance technology have been expanded for 2025. Standard features include adaptive cruise control, active lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking. Optional packages add a surround-view camera, traffic sign recognition, and advanced semi-autonomous driving functions that can assist with lane changes and speed adjustments on highways. The parking assistance system has also been upgraded with improved sensors and automated guidance for both parallel and perpendicular parking.

The interior comfort and luxury features continue to set the GLB apart. Standard dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable front seats, and high-quality synthetic leather upholstery are included. Optional upgrades include genuine leather, a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, and a Burmester surround sound system. Mercedes’ customizable ambient lighting system, offering 64 colors, enhances the interior atmosphere during night drives.

Practicality remains the GLB’s defining strength. The second-row seats slide and recline, providing flexible legroom and cargo space configurations. When all rear seats are folded, the GLB offers a flat load floor and one of the largest cargo capacities in its class. These features make it especially appealing to small families or active individuals who need everyday usability without stepping up to a full-size SUV.

On the road, the 2025 GLB-Class feels composed, refined, and well-insulated from outside noise. The mild-hybrid’s electric boost contributes to effortless acceleration, and the transmission’s smooth operation enhances overall driving comfort. The suspension absorbs bumps with ease, while the vehicle’s boxy design doesn’t translate to excessive body roll, thanks to careful tuning by Mercedes engineers.

Overall, the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class stands out for combining luxury, practicality, and technology in a compact yet capable package. It feels solidly built, intelligently designed, and versatile enough for both city commutes and long-distance travel. By adding mild-hybrid technology and expanding standard equipment, Mercedes has further refined the formula, making the GLB an even more compelling choice for drivers seeking sophistication and space without the size or cost of larger SUVs.

Good car but have had some unexpected issues with transmission. Found out that’s pretty common for Mercedes. Very disappointed. Haven’t fixed it yet. Thinking of selling the car after a year. The car is very good but transmission jerking is getting boring and nobody is giving me a solution. Sent it to different technicians and all gave me different diagnosis. Haven’t decided yet what to do with the car.

Living a relative short time with a 2001 E430 was a disaster. The troubles started at only 4,000 miles. Massive electrical issues such as A/C, window, seats, Bose stereo, instrument cluster digits going blank, numerous check engine lights, ABS failure, traction control failure, speed sensor failure and constant Hella headlight issues. Despite repairs made under warranty, I found myself at the dealer at least once a month. There were more than several mechanical issues as well such as engine mounts, V8 running on 4 cylinders only, and many many more. I sold the car at a loss, but I am very glad I did. If you pay $70,000 or less or more, you should expect quality. Mercedes Benz obviously isnt concerned about quality. Motor Werks dealer in Chicago is careless. This was my third nightmare with a Mercedes-Benz product, and the very LAST. I have gone onto Lexus with absolutely ZERO quality and reliability issues-ZERO. Lexus customer service is impressive.

Our 300c has approximately 29,000 miles on it and has gone through 2 sets of tires already! Just returned from the MB dealer and was told that the 2d set of tires was of low quality that is why they are cupping. If that was so, why did the original set do the same thing at 15,000 miles? Apparently, there is something wrong with the car design. The quality of the car, a 2010 is definitely not what Mercedes used to build.

I purchased my 2008 Mercedes Benz S450. I bought it 17 months ago and have had it in the shop 12 times. Yep. It’s true. The S450 nearly identical to the S550 but it’s a Canada-only edition. It has all the same features as an S550 but a slightly smaller engine therefore less gas consumption (not that I could care less). Within the 1st month, I had it back to the dealership for a $6,000 replacement of the GPS. With only 50,000 km on it (approx. 31,068 miles). It went downhill from there. Somewhere in there I lost my key and the replacement took six weeks and cost $406.13. Currently the catalytic converter is shot on the right hand side (there are 2) and that lovely quote has come in at $2,481 to replace. Cant wait until the other side goes. Sure people stare at this car as I drive by, beautiful lady with long blonde hair driving a high-end vehicle but it sure hasnt been worth it. Im making car payments about $1,000 a month and not only are the regular oil changes brutal ($500 on average) but there are a number of things wrong with the car that were wrong since the day I bought it that the mechanic cant troubleshoot because it doesnt seem to make that noise when he drives it. This includes the Distronic arbitrarily shutting off even on the highway on sunny days with no inclines on the roadway and no traffic with the car being washed just earlier that morning so nothing in the way of road grime. Go figure. The seat never worked properly since day one but since I didnt think the seats performed with the auto-inflation when you turned a corner, I never raised it up with the dealership. Then it cost me $500 after arguing back and forth because they said I broke it. By the way, the reason I never knew the seats were supposed to have this feature is because not only did it not work when I test-drove the vehicle and then bought it but the salesman was having surgery the day I bought the vehicle, and no one explained to me the various features. Ive been reading the very thick and complicated manual trying to see what features my car does have and thats how I found out. Again, when I went back to say it wasnt working since day one the dealership thought I was trying to scam them. Out of frustration I paid the $500 (half the cost) to get the seat fixed but believe me, I will take a polygraph test and prove the seat never worked since day one. I could never re-sell this car with a broken seat so I bucked up and had it fixed. I also take meticulous car of this vehicle and dont like things not working on it. Im exhausted but I still owe $40,000 on the car loan and Im locked in to this nightmare. Would I buy another one? No, of course not. I have owned two Chryslers before this, and NEVER had to pay this kind of maintenance and the one Chrysler 300C is a 2005, has over 400,000 km on it and Im lucky if Ive had to pay $3,000 in total for things that have need replacing. So, looking at the stack of receipts and work orders from the last 18 months, Ive got another three and a half years of payments to go on this thing and then Im free. Come on Mercedes. Stop creating new vehicles and advertising them on TV when you have a mountain of issues from the past to have to resolve. If I ran my company this way, Id be bankrupt and in jail.

Great mileage, historically long life. I bought the current SUV after having a previous 4 door and now using a MB Sprinter Van as a work vehicle. The van has 200K+ miles and starts every day. The fuel mileage is a steady 23-24 mpg unless I have a lead foot. Im expecting high mileage from my diesel SUV and hope to retain value over time due to the brand name and purchasing a CPO (Certified Preciously Owned) vehicle.

The bumper of my new 2017 E Class fell off after barely touching a parking bumper like you find in many parking lots. The bumper does not even have a scratch on it. The dealer says that this is common and they fall off all the time!!? Mercedes Corporate will only definitely understand how I feel. How can a force small enough to not even scratch the paint on a bumper make the bumper fall off?! To add insult to injury, the bumper is not in stock, and I will have to wait a few weeks to get the car repaired. Definitely my last Mercedes. $2600 to repair, and no end in sight.

Serious safety issue on 2012 ML550: My pregnant wife, 2-year-old son and I were bounced like popcorn in the car on a highway when the air suspension failed again in 10 days after the first repair. My 2012 ML550, bought in February 2012 with 10,000 km, ran into a serious safety issue. The air suspension failed twice in just 10 days. The Airmatic suspension system leaks and failed twice within two weeks. The first time was on November 27, on a trip to the hospital with my wife to do the pregnancy test; malfunction in dash at a stop sign after 40 minutes on the highway. The rear of the car sagged and could not be raised. I barely drove it home. It was bumpy all the way while my wife was tested positive for pregnancy on the day. It was towed to the dealer. They found a leaky distribution line in the air suspension system and they claimed they fixed it on the next day. But we felt the air suspension very stiff ever since. Then 10 days later on December 10, a day before we decided to send it back to dealer for a check-up, while dining out, driving on the highway at high speed, the malfunction in dash appeared and the rear of the car sagged again! My pregnant wife and 2-year-old son and I were bounced like popcorn on the flat bed in the car and barely drove it home. We had it towed to dealer soon after. There were more problems with the air suspension this time: replaced valve, relay, and now the compressor needed to be replaced also and had to be ordered from Germany. The car is disabled at the dealership at the time of this writing. The car is unsafe to drive now. It is less than a year and with only 10,000 km on it. I demand the full money back including HST from the manufacture because the manufacture has refused to replace me with a new car at no cost.

Since I had received my car Class B-150 in 2008. I am suffering from it because of many problems. Brakes: Its not up to the expected when needed (very weak). Makkar Agency has been informed of this problem and they made necessary maintenance (as assumed by them) till the expiry of the guarantee period. Then they asked for a complete adjustment for the whole brake system!!! After this incident, I moved to Katameya Maintenance Center. During 2011 another problem has been appeared which is vibration and weird voices in the motor. They defined the disrepair as a problem in the Belt Tensioner and they changed it in September 2011. The problem continued and they ignored our many complaints about it till the guarantee period of the Belt Tensioner has been expired. In April 2014, the problem has been aggravated and the car became slow and the vibrations are increased where I suspected the gear box oil. Car has been sent to the Mercedes Maintenance at Fom El Khalig and they reported that gear box oil is not the problem and it is in good condition and they have to change Belt Tensioner again (already has been changed when the car was reading 30,800 km). Three days after receiving the car, same problem appeared again. I re-sent it again to the same Maintenance Center (Fom al Khalig) where they reported that the car needs to change the main Control Board of the Gear Box!!! You will not believe that the car is reading now 47,011 km which is very weird and strange for Mercedes Benz with their GREAT HISTORY. From the above, Im not satisfied at all with the car regarding all many disrepairs which affected my job and I consider the above as waste of time and money. When I chose to buy Mercedes I chose Name, Reputation, Strength and durability. I work as Engineering Director at and Engineering Consultancy Company for Petroleum Companies (as Business Card attached) and Im sure that Mercedes Benz, with their large reputation in Egypt and Middle East and Internationally, cannot accept these many disrepairs for a car 47,000 km. I really was going to buy the new CLA but now after all these happenings, I will not and will not recommend Mercedes for any of my acquaintances. I expect free change of this spare part and rechecking of the many frequent breakdowns of the car. Appreciating your understanding and your time. N.B. my car is in Mercedes Agency at Fom Al Khalig since Saturday 3rd of May and no answer till now.

I purchased a 2010 C300 less than a year ago with only 25,000 miles on it. Ten months later, I am told that my car needs a new transmission and would cost about $10,000 to replace it. I only placed about 8,000 miles on the car and was told that my car was out of warranty. I adhered to all of the maintenance requirements and had my car serviced at all due dates. The car dealership told me that I should contact Mercedes Benz to ask for assistance because this was highly unusual. After calling Mercedes and pleading my case, I was told that the only thing they would do is offer me 10% off repairs or $1,000 towards the cost of a new Mercedes. I continued to plead and wrote letters to the top officials and never received any help or assistance. To make matters worst, I prepared myself to order the transmission and have it installed only to find out that the transmission is on back order. Mercedes Benz told me that it could take up to a year to have a transmission available. This is coming from the MB manufacturer that makes the cars and they dont have a transmission available. Now, my car sits in a garage unable to move while I still make the monthly payments. Buyers should be aware. This company does not provide customer assistance or service. I will never buy another MB.

When you paid premium price for purchasing and routine maintenance of a MB
When you paid premium price for purchasing and routine maintenance of a MB 350E, you expect a solid car with good quality. You would be wrong! My 2011 MB 350E has shown poor quality of materials. The control buttons of the steering wheel were wrapped with a piece of plastics and starting smearing. Moreover, the car seat cover has been torn apart, while the main driver of the car is lighter than 120 lb and the car has been parked mostly in garages. You can see that in the attached photos. I have never seen a premium car deteriorated so early so fast. It seems that the car was built with too many low quality artificial materials, or plastics, and not built to last! Maybe MB is expecting people to spend money every other year to buy a new one. Well, with such poor quality, people may have to to buy a new car in a year or two after an MB, but another brand!

Ive owned 5 Mercedes over my car buying experience and I can tell you I will never buy another one. I have a ML 350 BlueTEC (diesel) that has known problems with the vehicle. I just found out on the oil leaking near the rear main seal. I called Mercedes to ask why in the world would a car with 57k miles have a problem like this when Mercedes brags about how great an engineered car they make. I have spent over a week on the problem the dealer fixed the supposed problem to break another problem. Now they want me to pay for what they broke. CROOKS WOULD BE THE WORD I WOULD USE. Ive had several Lexus and no problems. Mercedes does not stand by their name and overcharges for everything. The customer service people just lie to you, point blank. DONT BUY A MERCEDES, BUY A LEXUS. CROOK, CROOKS, AND CROOKS.

With documentation: Purchased a 2010 ML350 Mercedes with 55,000 miles from a local/reputable dealer. Engine light was on when I test drove. Return visit the engine light was off and I was told it was a minor situation and after through check the car was in excellent condition. (Body, interior, like new.) Purchased the vehicle. Engine light continued to come on then go off. Weeks later the engine light came on and stayed on for several local miles. Immediately took for service. Had 60,000 maintenance done, oil change, other. Engine light stayed off. Drove to S Florida. Engine light came on again. Took to reputable foreign car specialist. Needed # 4 engine coil. Engine light off. Few (short) weeks later - engine light on. Immediately returned to shop. Needed # 4 coil replacement. Few (short) week(s) later - engine light on. Then engine light off & stayed off. Shipped to VA. Engine light off. Drove short miles - engine light on again - this time I returned to the VA foreign car specialist to determine why the light keeps coming on. Same symptoms over and over since before 55,000 miles on a well serviced car. Summary: This car needs a # 4 cylinder (head?) replacement, plus there is a TSB from Mercedes on this engine for known problems. Mercedes Corporate (told me I was not loyal to the brand) refuses to stand behind the vehicle. Corporate passed to a dealer whom I did not purchase the car from. They of course are unwilling to help. I have not gotten help anywhere. NOW I ASK YOU - Will you purchase a Mercedes knowing it could need a new engine @ 55,000 (+/- ) miles? No car with 55,000 miles should have these kinds of issues let alone what used to be the top luxury car. It is not the customer who is not loyal to the brand - it is the company who is not loyal to the customer and dropping the makers ranking from number one to number three (or below). I need a sound engine in my car. BUYER BEWARE when buying Mercedes Benz. [Note: If this saga ends on a reputable note - I will update this posting.]

I have a GLC 300 4WD 2016, running at low mileage of 19,000 in 2 1/2 years. The brakes have a weird sound when applying reverse gear and hit the brakes. MB mechanic had no idea what happened and hasnt been able to fix it. So the brakes have to be replaced. But the labor costs of fixing this has to be the customers paying for it? Ive been asking services department management and customer care from MBUSA, they all stated that no warranty coverage from the issue of brakes. Especially customers have to pay to get fixed even though we as a customer that has been negligence. This’s an issue of manufacturing products issues!!! But MBUSA makes the customers pay for the maintenance costs!!! If anyone buy a MB nowadays, be aware of this issue. When products and services come to have problem without company policies will cover, they will reject to pay and cover even though the customers were right!!

Ive had my 2011 e550 (bought brand new) at the dealer service four times in the last 3 months for squeaking breaks. He informed me that it was due to my driving style and that no other e550s have had this problem and Id just have to live with it. Then in the next breath he told me that the brake assembly was too big for the car (manufacturing problem). They had it in the shop, put something on the breaks and then we went for a test drive later that day while he was in town. No squeak. Amazing, but not at all surprising. Later that day and seven miles of driving the whining started; then the shrill squeaking was right back. I love this car but Im going to have to get rid of it because they will not work with me at all. Im very disappointed by the quality and by the service after the fact. They made an offer to put new brake pads and rotors on it, again. Three sets of brakes within 15,000 miles - no thanks.

My CLS550 only has 60k miles. The check engine light came on and the dealer has informed me that it is due to a faulty balance shaft. This is a known issue and a class action suit was filed. Mercedes settled out of court so they would not have to issue recall notices. I was never notified of the situation so I have been driving the car, not realizing that I was in danger. Now that I am aware of the issue, Mercedes is only willing to cover 37% of the $6,000 it is going to cost for the repair. How can any company think it is ok to use faulty parts, not inform the consumer and then not stand up to their responsibility? In November of 2018 I purchased a 2016 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 from Mercedes Music City in Nashville, Tenn. It had 20,000 miles and several months left on the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty. I live in Gainesville, Ga so flew there and drove it home. After driving it for 700 miles the check engine light came on and took it to RBM Mercedes of Roswell, GA. They found a few particles of something that was never identified residue in the fuel tank. I also found out the prior owner had check engine light issues also. RBM and Mercedes corporate determined it must be something I put in there and it contaminated the whole fuel system and now it needed $15,000 worth of repairs (whole fuel system needed replacement). I had driven it 700 miles and put 2 tanks of fuel in it. They refused to fix it. I did a lot of research on the internet. They charged me over $1,000 for cleaning out the tank and fuel lines and I left. I took it to an independent Diesel mechanic who tested the injector pump and said it wasnt putting out enough pressure. He replace it and the lift pump in the tank. Cost for repair was $2700. Pump was a warranty item. There was nothing in the old pump. It was just defective. Dealer and Mercedes misdiagnosed the problem and will not pay the repair. They insist they were right. The woman I spoke to at Mercedes was arrogant and didnt give a crap what I had to say or what I could prove. If you’re thinking of buying a Mercedes- dont. Buy a different Vehicle. This will be my last Mercedes.

I own a 1999 Mercedes-Benz ML320 truck. On 13 Aug 2011, a 20-feet wooden telephone pole was lying on a badly-lit street in the middle of the night. No one knows how it got there. Driving 45 miles per hour, (speed limit is 45 mph) I hit it with the front of my car. Then the pole went under my bumper resulting into a broken steering column and a bent car frame. My air bags, however, did not deploy. When I asked Mercedes why the bags did not open, they said that it only opens when hit in certain spots. In the end, my car was totaled by the insurance company.

After recall, I have to walk to the North service centre from train station because they dont answer to my telephone call for pick up. When I check the rate of Mercedes Benz, it is 27th which is bottom. The past glorious time is gone. It is absolutely rubbish. Anyone buy Mercedes Bend I call he or she is HOKU, which means foolish people.

I have had 3 Mercedes previously but the Mercedes C200 CDI Estate is our first diesel. The fuel economy is excellent and as we do a lot of distance traveling we certainly enjoy the comfort and the road handling. Being an Estate find the loading space in the boot great for trips to Bunnings and for trips to the beach with grandchildren and dogs. Have already done 150 kilometres in 4 years and with regular servicing hope to get over 200 kilometres before replacing it.

I had been a Mercedes Benz user for the past decade since Mercedes Benz began its operation in India. I had bought my first Benz E240 in April 2002 through Trans Cars India Pvt. Ltd. The vehicle is extraordinary and has served to my expectation. It is in a pristine condition until today. Satisfied with the vehicle and quality of service here at Chennai, I had bought another Benz in February 2007 (S350K) through Trans Cars India Pvt. Ltd. for about Rs. 82 Lakhs. It had no major or minor problems until December 2010. I had a minor problem with the front wiper controls in 07 Dec 2010. The wiper starts to behave in a funny fashion even when the vehicle is parked and locked. This posed a huge problem. Even after the service on December 2010, the wiper problem was not rectified. It was resent back to the shop on 06 Jan 2011 and subsequently for the same problem on 12 Jan, 30 May and 29 Jun. Still, even after this much attention and care, the problem exists and I was not offered a complete or even a remotely satisfactory answer for the problem. Even more, I was charged for the same unsolved problem by your people again and again.I had mailed you regarding the same but with no clear opinion except a mail for the same. Yesterday, I had to drive the vehicle as my chauffeur was absent. Unexpectedly, there was rain. The wiper did not function in spite of repeated attempts. I had to park the vehicle in the highway and could only start when the rain stopped after an hour. My question is, when my old vehicle is reliable and has no problem, why should an advance model have problem? Why am I not explained of the problems in spite of multiple inquiries and services at your authorized center? Why was the problem not rectified during the service of the vehicle? Why was there no satisfactory answers/replies about the problem from your people at Chennai? If you want more details of the receipt and fees, I shall be able to send it.This failure on the highways could have caused an accident. It is pathetic that a reputed and time-tested concern should deal with a problem in this unconcerned manner in spite of strictly adhering to schedule for maintenance. I hope that my problem will get attended here amicably.

I bought a certified Mercedes E350 at a Mercedes dealership in NJ in 2016.
I bought a certified Mercedes E350 at a Mercedes dealership in NJ in 2016. This vehicle was bought at night. I was given the vehicle to take home and since it was certified with a full warranty, I felt confident that the vehicle was in great condition with no issues. After all, the certified warranty has requirements the vehicle must meet before it can be certified. My vehicle must have been the exception. There was a long list of issues which made it apparent that this vehicle shouldnt have been certified. I was lied to about the vehicle being in an accident, bad brakes, squeaky steering, broken remote, deep 18 inch long gouges in the windshield and rear glass, many other things and, the focus of this story, the TeleAid was intermittently inoperable. Some of these issues were fixed by me having to get them to pick up the car and take it the car back to the dealership for repair. Some issues were created by them driving it. Once I received my car back with bent wheels which were the result of potholes near the dealership. The dealer brought it back anyway, I had to get them to come get it so they could fix the wheels. They fixed the wheels, but 6 months later, the finish of the wheels was faulty. They blamed it on me saying the other side of the car were the wheels they had fixed and the other wheels had to be something I did. My car but they know more than me about it. Even now, 5 years after purchase, it still has issues that the dealer never fixed. One issue is the TeleAid system is inoperable much of the time as I mentioned above. This is the system that costs $600 per year for the subscription and does basically the same thing as OnStar but for twice the cost. I brought this in to the Mercedes dealer where I purchased it numerous times while still under the certified warranty for the TeleAid to be repaired. Every time I was told they couldnt find the issue. This left me without the option to use the system for safety and convenience due to its unreliability. Now 5 years later, I had to bring my car to the Mercedes dealer, a different Mercedes dealer, for the airbag recall among other things. The mechanic runs a short scan and finds the TeleAid issue on the first day its there. The antenna has been the issue all this time since it was first purchased. Will Mercedes own the issue since it shouldnt have been there when I bought the Certified vehicle in the first place? NO. Will Mercedes honor the original warranty since the issue was brought to their attention while the car was covered by the certified warranty? NO. Even though it was brought to the Mercedes dealer for this issue at least 4 times within the first year I owned the vehicle? NO. Even though I have documentation from the dealership showing I told them about the problem and they didnt fix it, documentation from the time it was covered? NO. Even though the corporate customer service representative told me at the time to document the TeleAid issue so that if its figured out when the warranty is expired, they will know it was an issue under the warranty and they will fix it for free? NO. What does Mercedes wonderful customer service department say? Not the dealership but the Mercedes main customer service, the ones who are supposed to help when the dealer doesnt? They said, Well, the representative who said that doesnt work here anymore. They said they would give me a sales incentive to buy another Mercedes, but they will not take financial responsibility for the issue because its not under warranty. They said this repeatedly like they were reading a script. They are actually under the impression that a customer could be treated this poorly and then, because of a nondescript sales incentive, the customer will forget their entire frustrating experience and buy another Mercedes. I was under the belief that Mercedes was a company known for excellence in customer service. I found they would rather lose a customer than pay to fix a vehicle issue that should have never been there when the car was sold. The best part of Mercedes being willing to lose a customer is that the issue would only cost $240.00 to fix. In my opinion, what the dealer does is puts a certified warranty on the car, which they pay for. Then they leave to problems for the customer to find, bring the car back in, and then charge the warranty company for the repairs they perform. That is exactly what happened with me. So, in closing, I have lost almost all respect for Mercedes as a company. With the exception of a few dealership employees, the company is horrible to deal with. They refuse to do the right thing by their customers. The only reason for the 2 star rating instead of a 1 star rating is my experience with one service manager. He deserves 5 stars and a raise, the rest of this company was a waste of my money and many hours of my time in trying to resolve issues that should have never existed. If this saves one person from blindly buying a certified Mercedes, Ill be happy. Dont trust the image, its not accurate.

Second time in 1 year 2 tires blew out on the road in NYC. Paid first time for 2 tires because was told the wheel alignment was the cause of the bubbles on the tires. In fact the tires were defective and the car was at all times maintained on schedule by the dealer (2013 model S550). They wanted to charge for the tire replacement second time and charge for the wheel alignment - again the dealer maintains the car. My conclusion is that the tires are defective or not suited for driving in the city. This is the last time I will buy a Mercedes - poor quality, poor overpriced service...

The Good- I brought my first GLE-350 Mercedes in September of 2016. I love the look and thought the Customer Service would match the luxury feel of the car and it did, until it didn’t. I attempted to give a jump start to another driver at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak and my beautiful SUV started displaying “Inoperable”. I called Roadside Assistance and Michael from the Bloomfield Hills location came to my rescue, literally. Michael, was great. He diagnosed the issue with my SUV. He stayed with me and explained the issue to the towing companies. His expertise and professionalism was phenomenal. Michael use his expertise to force my car into neutral even though another Mercedes representative stated that it couldn’t be done. My SUV was dropped-off Sunday evening at the Novi location near my home. Michael called me Monday morning to inform me that he explained what was going on with my SUV to the service tech at the Novi location. I called the Bloomfield Hills location to inform the Manager, Steve on how great Michael has been to me. I told Steve that because of Michael’s great customer service skills I wouldn’t mind staying with the Mercedes brand. The Bad & the Ugly-I arrived at the Novi location at 9:00AM to see what was going on with my GLE-350. I was greeted by Serica, so I asked about the status of my SUV. Serica told me she just started at 9:00AM as she checked her computer. Serica stated that it was assigned to a technician and without an appointment I was lucky to get in. Also, that she would call me with any updates. I thought to myself since I’m already here why wouldn’t she ask the technician the status. Two minute after I left, Serica called and told me the parts had to be ordered and that it would take 4 days. I asked Serica for a loaner car.Four days was a long time and I need a car for work. Serica, stated that no cars were available and that I would have had to book a car two weeks in advance. If I would have known two weeks ago that I was going to blow a fuse in my SUV then I would have planned. I called again on Tuesday, and asked for a Manager. I spoke with Johnathan to see if I could get a loaner car for work. I was highly disappointed in the customer service at the Novi location. Johnathan haven’t returned my call from 9:30AM Tuesday morning. On the other, Serica called to tell me that they are hoping to receive the part sooner than 4 days. In the meantime, I have a credit on my account because I paid my SUV bill for the remaining year with no car to drive. I truly expected Mercedes customer service to be best-in-class. I have driven an Acura for years and Acura’s customer service is top-of the-line. I really thought with a slogan like “Drive the best or nothing”’ the customer service would surpass the rest and be the best, boy was I wrong.

GKL250 Bluetec and tires - I believe I need to bring this to everyones attention and would welcome a response from Mercedes Benz on this one. I have already written a complaint but they dont seem to be too keen on responding in an acceptable manner. I am a female who lives in Western Canada and our nearest MB dealership is 120 kms away. I bought this car, ex-demo with 1500 kms on it. About a month after I got the car, the run flat indicator came up telling me to check the tire pressure. I noticed that the rear driver side tire was down, so I pumped it up again and reset the indicator inside. A few days later, it happened again but this time went completely flat because I had been driving on it. It was on a Sunday.I called Mercedes Benz helpline and the lady at the other end told me that I had run flat tires on my car and this means I wont have a spare tire but I can still drive up to 80 kms an hour on the tire and take it into my nearest dealership which would be Vancouver (120 kms away). I explained to her that there is no way I could do this as the rim was now sitting on the tire. After a lot of back talk, I finally convinced her this wasnt possible, so she organized a tow truck to come and pick the car up and take it down to Vancouver (at MB cost). The tow truck left a huge black line on my driveway where the rim of the tire had scraped into the tire itself when putting it on the ramp. The next day, Monday, I had a bunch of appointments that I had to re-schedule, so that I could take the bus to Vancouver to pick my car up. I arrive at the dealership and I am informed that the tire could not be saved and was presented with a bill of $575. I questioned why it was this expensive and they said thats what run flats cost. This week, 5 months later, the run flat indicator came back on and I noticed a nail in one of the tires. I took it to my local garage who managed to fix it for $23.99. I asked them how much they would charge for run flats and they said that I dont have run flats on my car and that they are regular all season tires and they would charge for a good tire between $250-$275.As you can imagine, I am not very happy on a number of levels and particularly as I have regular tires and dont have a spare in my car. I referred this complaint to the dealership and was merely told that I have a compressor in the back of my car and I can easily pump it up. This is not acceptable. If the tire had blown out making it totally undriveable and I was in one of the many areas throughout BC that has no cell phone service, what would I do? I can change a regular tire if I had one but in this case, I would be totally stranded! As far as I can tell, this is a big issue that needs to be resolved by MB and I am hoping that they do the decent thing and follow up and to safeguard other owners of these cars.

This is an update. I called Fletcher Jones Mercedes Newport Beach today, January 17, 2012, because our 2011 E350 car stereo still does not work properly after having it in for an extended diagnostic evaluation from January 10, 2012 to January 14, 2012. They did finally watched and listened to the 5 YouTube videos that we filmed documenting the problem with the factory installed stereo. However, the service department is again denying that there is anything wrong with the stereo in our car.It was the second visit to Fletcher Jones for the same problem in two months and the sixth total visit in 8 months to a Mercedes dealership attempting to get warranty repair on the stereo speaker wiring. At one point today, we were hopeful that maybe the Fletcher Jones service department would actually do something about our issue when one of the Fletcher Jones employees, who had seen the videos, stated to us that she agrees that the audio is certainly clear enough to be able to hear the speakers are cutting in and out. However, it sounds as if her understanding of Mercedes corporate policy is that the Mercedes service technicians have to hear it themselves live in person as it is happening for Mercedes HQ to accept it as proof and allow the warranty repair. Our 5 videos are audio and visual proof. However, the service technicians continue to deny being able to hear the problem despite having our car at Mercedes dealers six times for the exactly the same problem that they say does not exist.Mercedes Benz warranties dont seem to be worth the paper they are printed on and it appears as if Fletcher Jones Mercedes Newport Beach only cares about selling more new cars. They are not at all concerned about service department issues.

I leased a brand new vehicle GLA250 that has a random ghost acceleration that cannot be fixed. The front differential had to be completely replaced at 4,700 miles on it. Then the tires went bald at 5,000. Then the gym service manager Mark ** says the cars drivetrain can’t handle potholes and these types of problems are common with Mercedes Benz. Their insurance recommendation also refuses to cover this car. It’s been a nightmare as I also ran over the neighbors child as the car suddenly accelerated. Was told to leave the car running for 2 minutes before driving which obviously made no difference. The only excuse is they cannot replicate so they cannot help.Their insurance company says it makes no difference whether they can replicate the issue and should pull the unsafe vehicle from use. But instead they sent this email notifying me that they won’t help or resolve or even respond to the safety concerns “no guarantee that assistance will be provided.” Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is currently reviewing your request concerning the 2016 GLA250W4 bearing vehicle identification number **. We want to set a clear expectation that there is no guarantee that assistance will be provided. Our review process typically takes 4 to 6 weeks; during that time we will be evaluating a review of all repair orders, the number of down days related to those repairs, the overall repair history and your individual state’s statutes.

We own a 2009 C300, with 4matic transmission. The car started to make a grinding noise which was being emitted from the center of the car. The car only had 60,000 miles at that point. We took the car to our family mechanic, and he told us it sounded like it was coming from the transmission and he advised we take the car to the dealer. We took the car to Mercedes of Danbury CT. They told us we needed a completely new transmission, and the price was $7,500. We told them it was outrageous that the car needed a new transmission at 60K miles. They told us the warranty only goes until 50K and there was nothing they could do.The dealer told us the car was probably not taken care of, but we took very good care of it. We had Mercedes of Nanuet (the original dealer) look up the records to prove that the transmission service had been performed right on time, and that the car was very well taken care of. In a desperate attempt, we called Mercedes USA. We talked to a regional manager and told him the whole story. The result was they were willing to discount the repair to $6000. We told them this is unacceptable. Given the car had been well serviced, the issue indicates an engineering problem with the transmission. A quick google search will show that many people have the same issue with the transmission. After Mercedes refused to do any better, we took the car back to our family mechanic. He opened up the transmission, replaced the bearing that had failed, and charged us a total of $1,000. In his opinion the transmission has a design flaw. You would think a luxury automobile manufacturer such as Mercedes Benz would treat you well. Obviously that is not the case. We will be selling the car, and will never purchase a Mercedes Benz again.

I purchased a 2016 “Certified” Mercedes Benz GL550 with low mileage. Like maybe 22,000 miles? This is my 4th Mercedes I purchased and got serviced through MB dealerships. Two were new. Two were certified pre-owned. I did not even haggle with Silver Star Mercedes in New York on the price. I purchased a number of upgraded warranties, bringing the total up almost to $80,000. This vehicle was advertised as “certified.” That includes a 27 point checklist on the exterior of the vehicle. When the vehicle delivered to me, I sent pictures to the dealer within an hour of receiving it.There were a number of issues. I sent pics and contacted them, including the owner. The GM, Rob, got back to me and left a message. I tried contacting him back many times, left messages and never got hold of him. Finally, I left a message suggesting he text or email me a time he is available to speak. No response. So I contacted the owner again. No response. I live in Pittsburgh so I couldn’t just go there. Finally, I called a Mercedes Benz US customer service. They said I have to work through the dealership to resolve it. I told them I have tried and they won’t respond! So I tried to call Mercedes a Benz Customer Service another day, hoping another employee would be more helpful.Again, he told me I had to work through dealership for resolution. I said AGAIN that they won’t get back to me. They wouldn’t even call them for me and ask them to please respond. Like I said, this is my 4th Mercedes, with each getting more expensive! I was considering buying a G-Wagon, but forget it! I’m DONE with a Mercedes! I’m going back to BMW. I NEVER in a million years expected such a terrible experience from Mercedes! The damages were only about $1,500 to fix. My local dealer was appalled and got me an estimate. Never buy a Mercedes if you are buying a certified vehicle that you hope the company stands behind!

I placed an order for a Mercedes S class through a leasing company in October, for January delivery. Having placed the order I asked the leasing company for confirmation that the car had been allocated by MB. The leasing company suggested I complain to MB and ask them to confirm allocation. I had both written and MB at that time and they seemed to be responsive to my complaint. I then had a call from a woman from MD in Holland and she confirmed that the car had been issued for production, with delivery in Mid January. I contacted the leasing company who subsequently confirmed that the dealer still had no confirmation of allocation. My attempts subsequently to clarify the situation have been a complete waste of time. MB Europe now consider that it is not a problem they will discuss because I dont have a contract directly with them and now it seems the conversation I had about delivery in January is a figment of my imagination. It never happened. In other words I am either an imbecile or a liar. The attitude I get from MB is its nothing that they will comment on. Just completely abandon any responsibility to meet their obligations and commitments. They have the nerve to challenge what I say when I have it in writing. Anyway, needless to say, Im appalled that they just couldnt give a damn.

Recently I was involved in a car accident with my 2015 S550 and damaged the driver quarter panel. I wasnt too concerned because I was in good hands with Mercedes Benz and knew I would be getting my car repaired in no time. WRONG! My car was towed to Mercedes Benz of Fort Lauderdale Collision center for inspection on 10/24/15 and was quoted approximately 3 weeks to repair the damage. 3 weeks seemed a little lengthy but reasonable to repair the damage, especially for the hefty price tag I am paying Mercedes for their ELITE service.I figured there wasnt anything I can do but to wait the 3 weeks. I called them BACK AFTER ALMOST 4 WEEKS PAST to follow up and the person I spoke with chuckled and told me it would take another 2 weeks because he said it was a lot of work and take time. He made it seem like it was such a daunting task that was going to be almost impossible to get done. Honestly, isnt their job to repair cars all day, specifically Mercedes Benz? A full month had past already and it appeared that it was JUST SITTING THERE waiting for parts to come in, insurance BS, etc. (I cant remember all the excuses they gave me). I am beyond frustrated at this point because I am paying $1800/mo for my car to sit there at Mercedes while everyone seems to just drag their feet as well as pay for a rental car for almost 3 months. Every 2 weeks I get a call with the same BS, it is going to be another 2 weeks. It has now been 2.5 months and my car is still not done. The 2nd to last time they called they even insulted me with hopefully by next year. Of course I wasnt too happy and had no choice but to wait for their lazy employees to take their precious time. A couple weeks went by and the same guy called with the same story, they needed another 2 weeks to complete my car! Where is the luxury service that I was promised by Mercedes? Am I missing something here?Fast forward - It is now Jan 8, 2016 and my car has yet to be completed. I have now paid Mercedes Benz 3 hefty payments without being able to drive my car. What aggravates me the most about this whole experience is I would assume when you buy a $110K+ luxury vehicle that you would receive the ELITE service that is promised to you when you are buying it. Since it is already sold the service received has been nothing but a joke. I feel it is my duty as a member of my community to issue this public service announcement to let everyone know that Mercedes Benz does not stand by their quality of service as they advertise. The hefty price tag you pay for their vehicles is definitely not worth the price and level of service youre given. Save yourself headache and time and opt for better luxury cars out there.

I have a Benz E350 2006. I just had a new transmission put in at over $6,000.00...... My check engine light then went on of which I was told it was the balance shift gears. (Mercedes-Benz currently has a class action lawsuit complaint filed for this issue for some of their cars with this problem as well as faulty engines & idle gears..... CONSUMERS... check this out... Do your research! I will be joining the class action lawsuit when I get my car back.) It was then going to cost me $5,500.00 by a Mercedes Benz dealership to replace the Balance Shift gears.... I also had an auxiliary battery replaced AND 2 cam sensors to see if the check engine light would go off.... It did not. I now have to replace the Balance Shift gears so my car will pass emissions inspection. The Mercedes Benz car I own, based on my experiences, IS NOT worth buying. Mercedes Benz needs to be responsible for faulty equipment. Mercedes Benz DOES NOT have the reputation it use to, in my opinion. I will never buy another Benz.

In my opinion, the forward collision avoidance system (AEB) in my 7 mo. old 2018 Mercedes C300 SIMPLY DOES NOT WORK. I special ordered the car with the 997 pkg that includes, Driver Assistance, BAS+, and Distronic. I have been close enough to stopped or slowed down vehicles on the highway, that it should have at least alerted me (beeped) if not started to auto brake. During my 8,000 miles of driving, I have had cars cut in front of me or turn in front (as they went through a red light) and there has been no alert much less any braking. In addition, I was surprised to find that this vehicle apparently DOES NOT HAVE rear cross traffic alert other than perhaps from 2 feet away. That is, if I am backing up and there is traffic coming from the side, there is no alert! Even worse, if there is a pedestrian BEHIND the car or walking behind it, there is no alert other than if they are 1-2 away which is much too close to be able to stop. Granted, the rear camera works fine, but if my head is turned to look back as I am backing up, I cannot see the screen on the dash. The MB manual states: “If active brake assist detects that there is a risk of collision, you will BE WARNED VISUALLY AND ACOUSTICALLY. If you do not react AUTONOMOUS BRAKING CAN BE INITIATED IN CRITICAL SITUATIONS.” And further that “autonomous braking works at 4-124mph for moving objects and 4-31 mph for stationary objects.” I have made at least 4 visits to two different MB dealers and all they will tell me is that “their computer shows no problem.” They are unwilling to drive the car to attempt to simulate when AEB should work. All of these are common features on many $35,000 vehicles in 2018; I have driven some of them and the alerts and auto braking + rear cross traffic and rear pedestrian alert works very well. MB corporate is incredibly uncooperative which is truly shocking for a company that prides itself on its safety record and reputation.

I am contacting you on behalf of my brother who owns a Mercedes C220 CDI Avantgarde since December 2009. After being told that the galvanized steel is rusting on the rear wings, it broke down - unable to start. The garage replaced the alternator, water pump and the belts, but while returning home, some dashboard lights indicated another fault. He was told not to drive it as a risk of fire. Another garage re-wired it and told him it had been on fire previously. Once again, on the way home, the faults showed up on the dashboard so he had to take it back to them once again. Now, the garage is having to look further into the problem. However, when he got the car, he was not told that the car had been on fire. My brother is not happy because it has cost him 845 pounds. Until now, I would be grateful if someone can get in touch with him. Thanks.

I purchased my C230 Mercedes Benz from Ed Hicks Mercedes in Corpus Christi, Texas in 2007. For over two years, I took my car in for service whenever the service maintenance light would come on, indicating that the service was due. In 2009, after having service maintenance performed at Ed Hicks Mercedes Benz dealership, I asked a friend, who is a mechanic, to check my vehicle to see if the maintenance I was charged for was indeed performed. After taking off the unit that shows the air filter, it was clear that it had not been replaced in several years with all the bugs and dirt that had collected on the filter. Next, the oil filter was pulled out and it was clear that the oil had not been changed in several months, even though I just had the oil change less than 4 hours ago. On the maintenance receipt, it clearly shows 6 quantities of oil change. C230 maintenance book shows 5.8 quantity of oil per vehicle. After checking other C230 maintenance receipts, I found out that I was charged 7 quantities, on others, I was charged 8 quantities of oil for my car when it can only hold 5.8 quantities of oil. My question is where were the additional quantities of oil being used for if not for my car?I drove my vehicle for over two years believing that the maintenance I was paying for was being done. I now know that they were not. I contacted Ed Hicks with my findings and they admitted that the oil change and filter was not replaced. The service manager was present when I took my car in. He saw for himself that the filter had not been replaced and the oil had not been changed. The mechanic told the service manager that he had an emergency that day and just forgot to complete the maintenance. However, Ed Hick refused to refund me the maintenance they have charged me for the job that was not performed. I need a lawyer that can help!

The worst vehicle I have ever owned and the worst service. When you buy a vehicle 2016 with less than 1200 miles on it and they tell you the van should get between 30-40 miles per gal and you get 18.4 and the lights keep on going on and off, and the tires had to be replaced with less than 9,000 miles on it, and the doors and windows stick, and you go in to have the check lights corrected and ten miles down the road they are back on, when the fuel gauge is not accurate, and and and...I could write a book about this piece of overpriced garbage. I now suffer from Ford envy as I drive all over the country and I do not feel safe in this vehicle as lights are going on and off all the time including check engine lights. Ive had more problems with this vehicle and spent more money in the few months Ive had the Metris than I have ever on a vehicle, and I usually get between 250,000 and 325,000 miles on a vehicle. The salesman left the dealership right after I bought the van and the service dept. instead of fixing the warning light they filled the fluid levels! Ive already talked two friends into not buying a Mercedes! The salesman told me they only allowed 100.00 for my van which had 4 brand new tires and battery as they could only scrap it. I would have taken it back and given it to public radio but he said they had already sent it off! Should I go on? When I had the tires replaced because they said they were not safe I took the tires and they look fine to just about everyone who has looked at them. I had to have air put into the tires two days after I purchased it as the light for air pressure was on. I am a professional and because I am a woman I pay attention to vehicles and everything that affects me and my business. I am now going to see if I can get any money for this piece of junk and buy another van, Hopefully this will be from a decent company and will not have chocolate on the seats when I get it. Never buy a Mercedes or deal with their salesmen or service dept. Anyone want to buy this cargo van? Oh they told me that the Metris is a cargo van but you shouldnt put any weight in it!

This dealership should be called the Pinocchio Mercedes Dealership because their deceptive practices are unbelievable. I leased a new Mercedes 2 weeks ago with the only requirement that Id be able to keep the same features of my 2019 car. They lied and cajoled me into a lease only to later find out that I had better features on my 2019 car. They agreed to return my car after going back and forth over the past two weeks after I was able to show that promises were made in writing that couldnt be delivered. So they promised to return my car that had 11,000 miles on it two weeks ago and take back the SUV that didnt have satellite radio or a decent set of speakers or the option of navigation. Today I return their car that I drove for 112 miles. They give me the key to my car which someone has driven almost 2,000 miles with all the filth of the employee that they allowed to drive my car. Everything about this place reminds you of a car dealership that relies on bait and switch sales. Even the manager, Katrina, who went out of her way to tell me that Mercedes would not take advantage of a senior citizen and that as an ** she treats everyone as she would want her ** older parents treated. This is not information that I solicited as clearly she was trying to demonstrate that she would never take advantage of senior citizens. Well if I was a betting woman I would bet that the only ** DNA that Katrina has is from an ** ancestor. The way a business treats current customers merely demonstrates how you will be treated if you lease or buy from this dealership. As a clinical psychologist I dont need to go out on a limb to tell you that if a person lies about something innocuous then they wont hesitate to lie to get your business. Shame on Mercedes for treating your customers with such disrespect and disdain. The fact that they couldnt be bothered to wash or vacuum a car that they drove to Timbuktu (in 2 weeks???) during a pandemic and never disclosed the wear and tear on my car by an employee tells you everything you need to know about Mercedes San Francisco!

After purchasing brand new 2016 c300, I had two major problems to my car. After a year, on highway speeds after applying breaks the car started shaking really bad. I took the car to my local dealer from where I bought the car. They said the brake pads need to be replaced. Second time, fuel smell started coming inside the vehicle while driving or when it’s parked in my garage. This time, the fuel pipe was leaking. Both the repairs were done properly by my dealer and I was charged $0 since the vehicle is still under warranty. I also got loaner car for the time my car was at the dealer. As a first time lease owner of my fist Mercedes C-class this was a huge disappointment. Prepaid for 2 services at the beginning of the lease just to find out that they expire 2 years after and not by the end of the lease how they made me think. Was only less than a month after my expiration that I took car for service B and now on top of my already paid $500 I must pay again. This is beyond dishonest and most terrible customer treatment Ive ever encountered. Called the office and spoke to Juan who was only able to get a partial credit for the service I now have to pay for the second time. How would you like paying for service twice? Also, on the phone with Mercedes customer service I was blackmailed by Juan (phone number: **) not to write my honest review about this situation or they would take away even the partial credit they just gave me that only partially covers my second charge for the same service I already paid for when I signed up for the lease! It was so unprofessional and disgusting to be blackmailed to stay away from writing this honest review that made me even more compelled to do so because I want to warn all future unsuspected new customers of how they will be treated as well. I will not be buying my future vehicles from them and so is my family. I only want to give my business to places that truly appreciate their customers and with lots of great competitors out there it will be easy to do. You dont want to be tricked, lied to, especially as a first time customer into something that will screw you later and they wont even care about it. Everyone should know before becoming a customer of theirs that they treat their customers in the worst possible manner without any care and with great amount of unprofessionalism by blackmailing them to speak the truth. Did not expect this coming from this car maker of this magnitude but be warned and stay away.

This is a complaint against Mercedes Benz Croydon. Yesterday (24th Jan 2012), my car registration number ** Mercedes C220 was booked for a full service, and an MOT. It was agreed that the car would be picked up from my home in Bromley, and delivered back the same day. The car was picked up on time in the morning. I got a call from Clive ** at about 16:00 H from Mercedes Benz of Croydon, that the car is about to be finished and dropped back, and would I please pay the required amount. I was with a patient at the time (as I am doctor and was consulting), and told him I will ring back as soon as I finished. I rang back a few minutes later, and was told the car would be dropped off, but they were having some driver troubles. We agreed that since I needed the car for work the next morning, and would leave for work the next day before 09:00H the car could be delivered before nine the next day. Clive said he would do his best to get the car delivered today. He also mentioned that the passenger side wheel arch cover was missing, and I asked him if that could be replaced. He said it could, and the cost of that was added to the bill, which was paid by credit card. Later on, I got a voice mail on my phone from Clive that the car would be delivered before 09:00H tomorrow. The next morning (today, the 25th of January 2012), I rang Clive at around 09:00H to ask where the car was, as it was nearly 09:00H. He said the driver left at 08:20H, and should have been there by now. He promised to ring me back. I rang him at 09:10H or so, to say the car is still not here, and my medical clinic will be starting and my patients will be waiting. He said he would try to get in touch with the driver. Nothing happened, and it was now 09:26H. I rang again, and this time he said he is just around the corner, and should be there in a couple of minutes. I asked him how he knew, he said he had spoken to other drivers, and they said he was in the area as they had spoken to him. I was getting desperate. At 09:32H or so, I rang Mercedes Benz, and asked to be put to customer services or the general manager, in order to lodge a complaint. The lady said none of the sales managers is free, and no one can take my complaint. However, if I would leave my name and number, someone would ring me back as soon as they were free. No one rang back as of today. The driver eventually turned up at 09:37H. He said sorry, the traffic was bad. I asked him what time did he leave, and he said 08.50H (whereas Clive repeatedly assured that the driver left at 08:20H). I dont believe the driver either, for if he had left at 08:50H, he should have been at my place at 09:20H at the latest (or 09.30 if traffic was very heavy). I was dismayed that no one from Mercedes Benz rang back to apologize, and to check if everything was okay. No one was bothered that a number of my patients had to wait, and then had to leave without seeing their doctor. On top of that, even though I had been charged, the wheel arch cover had not been fitted (as the bumper was a bit warped). No credit note had been issued. I discovered the arch was not fitted only late this evening. I strongly feel that Mercedes Benz Croydon were not truthful when they dealt with me. Are they truthful when they say they serviced the car properly? I strongly feel that Mercedes Benz treated me extremely shoddily. I request that a full investigation be made why this happened, and how can I overcome my reluctance to deal with this same crowd again? My service book was not stamped (it was in the car on the inside leg area of the front passenger seat of the car). I can understand if it was overlooked. I feel reluctant to go to the branch to ask them to stamp it, because they appear to be an untrustworthy lot. I request some compensation be made for the aggravation suffered by me, due to this unfortunate incident.

I have 1998 CLK 230 Kompressor which I have been enjoying without any problems whatsoever. In one of my routine maintenance schedule, the service mechanic required the car manual for reference which I gave him. A couple of days when I required it, I was told he lost it along side other documents. Of course, there was nothing I could do about it. Recently, the battery ran down, thereby locking the trunk without access to the battery in the trunk for jump-starting. I was able to start it much later. However, due to the run-down battery, I could not play my radio/cassette/CD due to code requirements (I didnt know it was coded). I have not played music for over 2 months and this is choking me up. What options have I got? Any answer or opinion?

I have a C350 2009 that has a transmission double shifting problem from 11K miles. When car is cold, once you pass from park to drive with the brakes applied, you get two hits to get in driving mode. The first one is the common sensation of getting in drive; the second one is like somebody is hitting your rear bumper. After two years driving the car to Mercedes Benz of Pembroke Pines where they tried all possible solutions directed by MB USA, which include repairing transmission, changing computer programs, replacing a transmission, placing a new parts from Germany and more that can be seen in my car maintenance history, all of this represents two years of stress and loss of my time. Today, I was surprised that MB USA got the conclusion based on one of their specialists that the issue in my car is common for all other cars same model parked at the dealer. Is this not amazing? All the money and time spent to fix my complaint got the great and funny conclusion that this is part of the car design? It is offensive. It is frustrating that we, the customers, look for a good and guaranteed car that make our driving and lives easy without problems and results that now I cannot believe in Mercedes Benz as my dream car because MB is designing and building cars that have issues hidden, not described in their owner manual or at least notified to customers. What is happening with one of the best car brands in the world? For sure Ill not purchase any other Mercedes Benz in my life and will not recommend anybody believing on brands. All are the same! If somebody has a suggestion on how I may elevate my frustration and solve this situation is more than welcome to contact me.

I currently own a 2006 SL500 with 41k miles on it. The vehicle is very well taken care of and barely looks used. I took the vehicle to the dealership and the valve body needs to be replaced at $2000.00. The bad thing is the part is not even at the dealership - it has to be ordered from Germany. I called the dealership to see if they would be willing to cover the repair even though it is out of warranty and they say call MBUSA. I called MBUSA and I got the response that we need to call the dealership and speak to them. She then proceeded to tell me that I was not a loyal customer and that they may not cover the repair of the vehicle. I said what do you consider a loyal customer, someone who has bought 3 Mercedes Benzes and is a member of the Mercedes Club or is it someone that does not own a Mercedes? The point is Mercedes Benz is not loyal to their customers and treat them rudely when it comes to getting things done. I probably will not buy another Mercedes.

Ive had to have 2 tires replaced due to bubble issues in my Mercedes C-300. Although I thought my experience was unique, today (June 15, 2015) when I went to get my car oil changed it appears I wasnt the only one with this issue. Two other customers at the Mercedes service desk had exactly the same issues. Imagine my surprise! At $275 a tire all of us were pretty twisted that this issue is going on and Mercedes has NOT issued a recall on this brand tire! Can someone help stop this unsafe issue? Does someone have to get hurt first? How many more people are in the same boat? Can someone canvas the service logs at Mercedes and see how bad this issue really is? Lastly based on the young attendant behind the desk she said, weve had tons of people with flat tires. She also stated, dont worry we have truckloads of tires in inventory. How scary! What would you assume? Someone please advise, how do we proceed?

I bought my second GLA here in Brazil at a dealership called Itatiaia. When I picked up the vehicle on 21/oct/15, just as I was outside driving by the first block I noticed a noise coming from the front suspension. I drove back to the dealership and informed to the same person that delivered the car to me. He said it was probably a kind of dust that would disappear soon. After some days the noise was still there and I took the car to be service at another dealership EuropaMotors - that is situated just outside my home. I left the vehicle there on 29/oct/15 with 144km and it was appointed that the front left shock absorber was broken. They ordered a new part that took 3 long days to arrive.I bought a new car that came broken from the dealer. It is not a cheap car and Mercedes sold a car that was not even safe to go to the road!! (This part is essential to the security of the driver and passengers). I am very mad. After almost one week they returned me the car with the problem fixes, they said. Yesterday, the same noise appeared again. And now it is even louder!! I cant believe this is a serious company. I complained to the dealership and to the Mercedes Benz in Brazil. Nothing has been done to really solve the problem. I am now entering with an official complaint to the authorities and I hope to hear from Mercedes with a solution. I dont want to buy an expensive car and receive a broken cheap car as they are proposing to me.

The trim issue is esthetic only but the wheel button surface peeling actually affects the same operation of the car because the buttons which control important car functions are not useable. The two dealers I went to for service were the Palm Beach and North Palm Beach dealers and both were well aware of the problem from other customers and both told me it was my tough luck as the defects were not covered by the warranty. One said it was from driving and parking in the Florida summer sun but as I unsuccessfully explained I spend summers in Colorado and garage the vehicle un-driven in summer. I purchased a 2015 CLS 400 4MATIC with less than 7500 miles. After driving the vehicle for a week, I noticed a small grill for the dash temperature sensor missing. I took it to MB of Boston in Somerville, MA. I trusted that would be cover under factory warranty because I purchased this vehicle with an obvious factory defect, the dealership declined the warranty repair, instead quoted me $1200 to replaced the small vent on the dash without no explanation, the dealership make no effort to remedy the problem to ensure customer satisfaction. I was heartbroken to be told that it would not. I reached out to MBUSA customer relations, I was told a number of time theyre going to call the dealership to work it out with them and get back to me. Since then Ive been trying to reach MBUSA no one from the dealership or MBUSA has contacted me or made any attempt to remedy this situation.

The tire had a nail in it. A normal tire could have been repaired, however this tire had to be replaced at over $200 for a 17 tire with only 6000 miles on it. Imagine if I got stuck out in the desert going to California with no cell service and no cell service to call roadside service. At least if the cars come with run flat tires, all should come with a spare and a jack. Nothing at all is unacceptable and dangerous.

I am writing this letter to state my displeasure with having to replace the front rotors on my 2011 Mercedes E350 Blutec with only 30,584 miles. This is our fifth Mercedes starting in 2007 with an E320, a C320, E320 CDI, CLK350 and the current E350 Blutec. Each car was driven about 15,000 miles per year by both drivers, averaging 70% highway, 30% local. We have never had any problem with brakes, rotors or anything in that area. Our current Mercedes E350 Blutec has the sport package. On September 12, 2012, we had the front right tire replaced because we hit a pot hole that ruptured the sidewall of the tire. The tire was replaced by Quirk Mercedes of Bangor Maine, mileage 26,375.A summary of the succeeded maintenance By Brumos Mercedes of Jacksonville, FL follows: Service on October 17, 2012, car mileage 29339, for regular Flex A Diesel special. Right rear tire found to be worn bald. We ended up putting 3 new tires on the car. Total bill is $1,156.45. Service on November 12, 2012, car mileage 30,584. Incoming customer complaint: Very noticeable heavy vibration appears at most highway speeds. Service checked balance on all tires. The 3 that Brumos replaced checked okay. The RF tire that was replaced on September 14, 2012 by Quirk Mercedes of Bangor Maine needed to be rebalanced. Post service comment: There is a brake vibration at highway speeds coming from the front rotors. A cost estimate to replace both front brake rotors (brakes pulsate when applied) of $535.90. Total bill is $24.88. We now have a time period when we did not drive the Mercedes very much. Service on March 8, 2013, mileage 31,569. Note from last service visit: We discovered a noticeable vibration that appears when the brakes are applied at 35MPH and higher speeds. Customer has felt the same condition in the steering and in the drivers seat. The tech stated it needed front rotors. Service note 31580 found front brake rotors with excessive rotor run out causing a vibration when braking. The tech then replaced the front rotors, front pads and new sensor. Road checked okay. Bill total is $556.16. Our service advisor, who we like very much, informed us that the run out or warping is most likely caused by overheated brakes that cool unevenly such as keeping the brakes applied in the same spot after stopping or running through water with hot brakes. Nowhere in the Mercedes manual is this discussed.I would think that the excellence of German engineering would design rotors that would stand up to these conditions. I hesitate to declare a design flaw, but perhaps the design margins have been compromised for some other consideration. In any event, I really do not want to face another rotor replacement in another 30,000 miles.

2008 MB e350 sedan with gas, fuel pump failed and the replacement for a California high efficiency emissions car has a metal tank that is not repairable. The pump is built in and cannot be replaced w/o replacement of the entire tank costing $2800 for parts only. There is a warranty for all gas e350 due to leakage of gas but the metal tank is excluded and I have no recourse to repair or replace except thru m/b, no aftermarket parts or anything. Has anyone have success with this unique problem in repair or replacement?

It has been a very reliable auto. I have always like this model. Its a sedan and I love sedans. I bought it used at a good price. It drives very smooth and has good gas mileage. It is roomy too. The controls are easy to use as well. I like the color and the low maintenance needed for the car. Very dependable, great for road trips. A friend hit a deer. The damage was severe and it kept on running. The only downfall to this car is the cost of parts and maintenance. The repair always recommend only using Mercedes parts from the manufacturer and there is a great difference in cost compared to some of other vehicles. Finding used parts is hard and cost more. Even the oil change cost more than other vehicles.

Please note that while this review pertains to a 2008 C300, I have spoken to owners of two newer model C300s, and the consensus among us is that reliability is far less than expected, and repairs are more frequent and more costly than we anticipated. Since owning this car, I have replaced several very expensive components, including a drive shaft and steering lock. During a single year, my repairs totaled $3,000. During the following year, repairs were $2,000. These are just two examples of a lengthy list of costly non-maintenance repairs. When I questioned the dealership about this track record, the salesman said, When customers ask me this, I tell them that its to be expected with a high-quality vehicle. TRANSLATION: You arent the only one whos had this experience. For me, the C300 is a low quality vehicle with a fancy emblem on the hood. I will never consider this brand again. If you decide to buy Mercedes, review buyer experiences before you do. You may save yourself a lot of heartache - and a lot of money.

I purchased a 2015 Mercedes GL-350 in May 2017 with less than 20K Miles on it. I was told that it was still have full factory warranty on it until 4 years or 40K miles. About 6 months after purchased the vehicle; We started to experience an intermittent problem with the rear view camera and 360 view cameras; once in a while when we put the car into reverse, the screen would continuously flipping between rear view and 360 view. I recorded the issue on camera and brought it to the dealer. The mechanic at the dealer looked at the video and drove the car around for 5 minutes then came back and said that he does not see the problem at the moment so there is nothing they can do. About 8 months before the warranty expired, we began to have another intermittent problem with the transmission, every couple of months, the reverse gear does not work. You can put the transmission into reverse, feel the gear engage but the car wont move; we can rev up the engine to 3000 rpm and the car wouldnt move. The only way to get out of that problem is to drive forward for about 1/4 miles, then after that the reverse gear work again until the next time. We brought the car to the dealer, they test drove the car and did not see the issue, so they again told us, there is nothing they can do. Kept having both of these problems every few months, so we recorded the problem with the transmission on video where the dashboard show the gear in reversed, engine rev up and the car did not move (can tell thru the windshield). We bought it to the dealer and show them the problem. They again drove the car around for a few minutes and came back to tell us that there is nothing they can do because the problem does not happen at that time. When the warranty about to expire on this vehicle, I called Mercedes USA (talked to Erik). He told me I should bring the vehicle back to the dealer if the problem comes back, but I will be responsible for all cost of diagnostic and any cost associated with fixing the transmission. I told him I have detail dealer record/video of the problem existed well before warranty expired and it is Mercedes that could not fix the problem. He kept repeating the warranty policy of 4 years/40K miles and owner responsible for all cost afterward, and that was how the call ended. We spent twice the money on this luxury brand and this is how they treated their customers. I will never purchase another Mercedes or any of their franchise brand and I will make sure I tell this story every chance I get.

CLEARLY MANUFACTURER PROBLEM!!! Traded in my 2011 Mercedes Benz E350 for a 2016 Mercedes Benz E350; my favorite vehicle and fourth one I have owned. I only drive it on the weekends, Since the purchase in May of 2019. I have driven the 2016 probably 10 times on Sundays to church. It has never left the state of Georgia. Upon returning from being at Church all day Sunday February 16, 2020 730 am to 730pm. I parked the car in my garage, an hour or so later I realized I forgot something in the car. Hearing a crackling noise I began to look at the golf cart charger and the only other thing in my garage, the car. The rear window had completely shattered! it appears as though the sealant is missing from the upper left and right corners of the rear of the vehicle. MICHAEL G OF Mercedes tells me there is nothing they can do since there arent any open recalls. I have never seen such a thing! **

Last Sept. 2009, I leased a 3 year 2010 Mercedes ML-350 4matic. The water pump was replaced at the 5k mile mark. Both control arms were replaced at the 10k mile mark. The replacement resulted the off center steering wheel, corrected by miss-alignment with toe in adjustment, resulting in front premature tire wear and loss of correct vehicle handling characteristics. Steering wheel is still off center. The right front lamp marker error message detected at 10k mile mark one year ago is still not repaired. The left front brake wiring harness and sensor malfunctioned at 2 year mark with 18.5k miles. Both rear seat belt harnesses were defective from the factory, only the right one has been repaired.

I highly recommend Mercedes-Benz. I have 1996 w124 250d with the OM615 engine non turbo version for last 3 years, currently 500,000 km or even more. No problems with it, everything works smoothly like it was built yesterday. Fuel consumption is great 6.5l/100km on motorway. I love the suspension in this car, it feels like driving on a cloud. I would say that its one of the best engineered cars ever made. Car is very reliable and never had any major issues with it. Also service parts are not expensive and widely available and doing service or even changing brakes is very intuitive and doesnt cause any trouble so everyone who owns set of basic tools can do it. I understand that the car is almost 20 years old and some people might think its awful and ugly, I suppose its up to individual taste. I personally love old-school cars. Used to own 1990 BMW e30 325i, 1991 VW Golf gti and 2000 BMW E46 320, them cars where not bad and it was fun driving them. But w124 gives me so much driving pleasure.

My daughter bought a Mercedes Benz four years ago and I co-signed on it. I have never made a payment on it and she has paid every month. Last winter when they were having some financial problems, she was late with a payment. From that point on every month that she is one minute late with her payment, although still in the 15 day grace period, we get harassment calls. They start at 8:00 in the morning and again at dinner time. This month, she made a payment on the 7th and they are still calling every day, twice a day to both of us and it is the 28th. What the hell is the matter with you people? Financial Services lost a payment in May and it took them four months to find it. In the meantime, they are calling every day for that May payment that they already had. I have never seen such Mafia techniques in any company in all my 69 years not to mention a poorly run financial department that cannot keep track of the payments that are made and lose some of them and then start harassing customers for their own mistakes. I would never buy a Mercedes Benz product just based on your financial services harassment tactics. There is no reason for this kind of treatment. I intend to contact every consumer complaint organization I can find and send them a copy of this letter online, offline, by mail, and any other way possible.

I had a 2006 ML350. It spontaneously caught fire as it was parked two hours after I had driven it. The firemen state in the report it was an electrical fire and started from a short in the rear taillight harness, much like the investigation in the C-class. They could determine that in only twenty minutes time. I brought this to Mercedes Benz USAs attention and they were careless about the safety dangers that this caused/posed. They said it wasnt a manufacturers defect. Might I remind you the car had been parked for 2 hours. God forbid if consumers found out that the ML-class would be involved in the same investigation as the C-class. They were of more concern about this being leaked or exposed and tried to sweep my case under the rug. They held my vehicle for about 2 months for their investigation and not to have any conclusion of the manufacturers defect is complete BS. They told me that the fire was inconclusive and not a manufacturers defect. Get this! They only gave me one case manager and limited me only to speak with her. After I had asked to speak to numerous other managers and higher ups they told me I strictly couldnt. After being trapped in this corporate cover up I had nowhere else to turn. SUSAN (my west coast regional case manager). How many other vehicle cases did they sweep under the rug like mine? I do not expect this kind of cover-up from Mercedes and would expect them to stand behind their vehicles. I only had 76,000 miles on it. An absolute nightmare!! THIS WENT TO CBS2 KCAL 9 THE BBB, NHTSA, numerous auto blogs ,CAS and the Federal Trade commission . IM STILL NOT DONE!!

A few days ago my 5 year old daughter spilled a 1/3 full kids water bottle on the floorboard of the right rear seat. The water bottle holds 12 ounces so I estimate this was 4 ounces of water. 30 minutes later the car started smoking inside then the dashboard display went blank. We took the car to Fletcher Jones Mercedes Benz and today received the news from their service department that the Control Unit had shorted out from what appeared to be a clear liquid, leaving us to assume it was caused by the 4 ounces of water. The Control Unit is located directly under the front passenger seat. It is only separated by the carpet. Of course, they said this is not covered under warranty and the cost to replace this unit is almost $8,000.Why would Mercedes place a computer for the car under the passenger seat without at least making it a little water resistant? In rainy days people are constantly getting in the car with wet feet. When you have kids its not uncommon for things to get spilled on the floor. For such a thing to cause the brains of the car to malfunction is simply poor design. It makes me question other design components from this manufacturer. Not well thought out!

I have owned it 6 weeks and have 5,000 miles on it. 1st was Def contamination and then going into countdown mode. 2nd trip and Low Def warning. Went into countdown and quit. Road service left me on the highway for 4 hrs in 90* heat. I had to call a wrecker myself. Driver told me he was called 3 hrs ago and they did not know what the interstate even was, and they would not pay his price. I am sitting in a hotel in Ohio waiting on the dealer to give me an answer or I start driving a Enterprise rental the 1400 miles back home. No offer of a loaner from anyone. I racked up $3,000 in expenses here. MB says to save the receipts to present to a board that decides in 30 days if they qualify. This is a LEMON. I want MB to buy it back. If not, I start getting rid of the 6 MB we already own.

BEWARE TO ANYONE THINKING ABOUT GETTING A MERCEDES GLE! On November 30, 201
BEWARE TO ANYONE THINKING ABOUT GETTING A MERCEDES GLE! On November 30, 2016, I leased a Mercedes GLE from Keyes Mercedes in Van Nuys, California. Only a month later, the coolant light came on. We fixed the issue. And then about two months later, two other error signs kept lighting up: (1) Inoperative, See Operators Manual and (2) Active Brake Assist, Functions Limited, See Operators Manual. I was very concerned because the accelerator felt odd when the error signs came on, and the car did not feel safe to drive. We brought the car in for service. The service department addressed the issue, and I received my car back. Since then, the error lights have come on again and again. At this point, my car has gone in FOUR TIMES to the service department to address these error signs that keep coming on! I soon will reach ONE MONTH of being in a loaner car.Keyes Mercedes Service Department has been great in trying to repair the car, but the car is a lemon and it doesnt look like it can be fixed. Mercedes headquarters has been absolutely terrible. Back in March, I reached out to Mercedes headquarters at 800 367 6372, and spoke to an Executive Referral Manager by the name of Kyla. She would not provide her last name. All she would say is it would take 4-6 weeks to determine what can be done, if anything. She would not escalate the situation further, and she would not put me in touch with the regional manager. When I tried to reach out to her when I kept having to bring the car back in for service, she did not respond. When I finally heard back, Kyla said there is nothing that could be done and, shortly afterwards, she relayed that she is changing roles. After several attempts to find a new contact at Mercedes headquarters, I received a call from someone named Brian today. He, too, would not provide his last name. All he could say is it would take another 4-6 weeks to determine what can be done, if anything! THIS IS LUDICROUS! Weve had the car for only 5 1/2 months. It is completely unreasonable for us to have experienced this many error signs. In fact, we should not have experienced any during this short time. What is more unreasonable is Mercedes headquarters will not do a thing about it. Ive never encountered such terrible customer service! I have a feeling that Ill be stuck in a loaner car for many months to come at this rate! It looks like MERCEDES GAVE ME A LEMON!

First of all, I wish I had known about this site when my incident first took place. I just want to share my experience with everyone so that people can be aware when purchasing a Mercedes Benz. I plan on speaking out on every single forum out there, and if it can help even one person, then I will be satisfied. I live in Los Angeles and purchased a brand new E350 in 2007. Just a few month after the purchase (around 10,000 miles on the odometer? ), I was driving down the freeway when the car came to a sudden stall. The engine completely died, and I could not get it started back up. I was in the second lane from the inside, and the freeway was full of drivers speeding at 70-80 mph. Unable to get out of my car, I watched vehicles behind me careening to a sudden stop or jerking to rapidly change lanes. It was truly a frightening experience.I called 911 to report the incident then AAA to get a tow truck. The CHP arrived within about 15 minutes to help divert traffic away from my car as I was at a dead stop in the middle of a 5-lane freeway. The officers alerted me that it is too dangerous to stand still in the middle of the freeway and that they needed to immediately move my car off the freeway. Since they didnt have towing capability, the only way for them to do that was for them to push the car from the back with their squad car while I steered towards the nearest exit. Without getting too dramatic, I will say that this was probably the most frightening experience of my life. Luckily, no one was injured, and the car just suffered a lot of scratches on the rear bumper as a result of it being pushed by the police car.I wrote to MBUSA and explained the entire experience plus access to the police records. They offered absolutely no sympathy. They didnt even offer a nice gesture by offering to fix the scratches which would have cost approximately a few hundred dollars - pocket change to them. They didnt see any seriousness to the incident. I could have been seriously injured, and I could have caused serious injury to other motorists on the freeway that day. The message that they were sending to me was clear: I am an isolated incident to them, so I do not matter at all. Theyre a big, powerful company with millions of other buyers, so of course they dont care. How nice. Im the familys third generation of MB driver, and I will most certainly be the last.

Any car but NEVER EVER Mercedes. Why am I posting here? To create consumer awareness. NEVER EVER MERCEDES AGAIN. Worst customer service ever. Mercedes Benz Canada is the worst company to deal with when there is a problem with the car. Complete lack of customer service and they do not care if you are a long time client. They simply don’t care. After almost two years no one is able to find the problem in my 2018 E 400 at Mercedes Oakville and Mercedes Benz Canada is not willing to do anything. After repeated visits for a problem brought to their attention right after we leased the vehicle it still hasn’t been rectified. We have had to escalate to arbitration but still no help because it is an intermittent noise that doesn’t happen every day. Despite multiple employees hearing the noise on multiple occasions they can’t fix it.Mercedes Benz Canada’s response to arbitration was pathetic. Their response was we are welcome to keep taking car back. They have tried to repair multiple times at an inconvenience to us and their only solution is to keep going back. No one expects multiple visits for a noise issue on a car that costs this much. We were so desperate to get rid of this vehicle that we even went and talked to sales department at Mercedes Benz Oakville who knew about the situation but were unable to do anything to make it reasonable for us to switch cars. They just don’t care that we are unhappy and stressed about paying so much money every month for a car that annoys us. Despite providing them with multiple recordings evidencing the noise they still can’t fix it and just don’t care.Over all terrible and worst customer service experience we have ever had. If you don’t want to have any problem, just DO NOT BUY MERCEDES FROM MERCEDES BENZ OAKVILLE. There are lots of other luxury brands to choose from. 40,840 Mile service on 2012 E-350. We had our 7 year (70,000 Mi.) service but only 40,840 miles on vehicle completed at Mercedes of Hilton Head which cost $785.46. All prior services, from our purchase in 2012 with 12,000 miles, completed at Mercedes of Hilton Head. They discounted this to $657.37 after I raised heck for billing me $6 for washer fluid I had just filled. The year before the annual service was $902.90. Then I got the breakdown on additional recommendations as follows 1) Replace Transmission mount found collapsed $254.09, 2) Repack and adjust front wheel bearings $518.97, 3) Reseal Left Front Cylinder Head Cover $278.27, 4) Reseal Both Left Side Cam Magnets $291.28, 5) Reseal Right Front Cylinder Head Cover $293.18, 6) Reseal Both Cam Magnets on Right Cylinder Head $395.58 For a total of $2031.37.The last year we put on 4,000 miles with no mention of any of these issues in prior years. While I understand somewhat (again usually 100,000 miles) the repacking needs, the other two items were completely a failure of the vehicle to perform properly and unusual failure (I would hope) of things that I have had cars with over 150,000 miles without issues. I called Corporate, after the dealer gave no assistance, as I thought those repairs should be covered with such low mileage and care given to the car throughout its life. They offered $600 off if all service was completed at the dealership. Ive had a Buick that was 2 years out of warranty with 42,000 miles engine replacement all the way to the torque converter because of the engine failure and cost me $100.00. I always thought Mercedes was a quality vehicle, and I was sadly mistaken. Do NOT Buy Mercedes.

Of course we have had regular maintenance performed regularly, just like we did on the previous mentioned vehicles. As of today, everything on the Mercedes is working properly. Unfortunately we can not say the same about the BMW or Toyota. Don’t get me wrong, the BMW and Toyota still had strong engines, it was the many little thing that went wrong. Went to the dealer - horrible dealer btw - (MB of Nanuet RT 304 Nanuet, NY) and the service manager, without even looking at it said, Oh! Wear and tear not covered, sorry. Are you kidding me??? 40k miles? I weight 180 pounds, tall and slim. My neighbor has a BMW with over 80k miles, he weights probably 350 pounds and the seat look like new! Do yourself a favor. MB has the reputation but the quality parts they use - at least the leather - is horrible. Never ever again!! And also stay away form that horrible dealer. I plan to put a sign in my vehicle and drive around with a picture of the peeling leather and the name of the dealer who refuses to take care of it. That, based on the mint condition of the vehicle most likely will raise eyebrows. Shame on you Mercedes Benz!

While raining, I tried to use warm max, because I cant see clearly, and suddenly the sliding roof glass started breaking, and that was the first time I tried to use it. I am afraid I am in a dangerous car. I brought my car to maintenance, and they told me I have to pay SR6,931because it is broken, and not a factory disorder. They didnt trust me. My car is 300E 2012. Until now, we dont agree. It cost me 3 days with renting car to go to my job. I hope to respond immediately, for unacceptable event. I am having the same issue with Mercedes Benz Walnut Creek, CA. My check engine light came on within a few days of purchasing the car. The salesman Jimmy ** says that the previous owner told him that when you put gas in the light went off and sent me on my way. I came in twice more with the same complaint only to be sent away again. A short time later the cel stayed on. Eventually I had to get my car registered and have the car smogged. The smog place so the cel on and would do no more work. He suggested that I take the car back to MBWC where I purchased the car. I had an extended warranty that canceled but was told it could still be used. I was given a loaner car for a month but when MB could not get paid with the extended warranty they took the loaner back with no charge. I thought this strange. I called the general manager to discuss with him. After he spoke with his people he told me what his people said but did not have an ear for anything I had to say. My car has been at the MBWC dealership since April and after calling AGAIN general manager called to tell me they had not realized my car was still there and that after a couple of days they would start charging me storage. The last attorney I spoke to told me I didnt have a case because the amount of money I would get would not be enough to cover his attorney fees. He is greedy. I am still making payments on my car. Also result of the cel being on the problem with the transmission was missed. I now need another transmission which I got an estimate of $2200+ and the cam shaft issue $7000+. I really need help. There is a lot more but so much to type. Is there anyone willing to help steer me in the right direction?
