Find big savings on Mercedes Automobile(s) at Auto Helpers. Low Prices.

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter represents the next evolution of the brand’s commercial van lineup, combining the proven versatility of the Sprinter platform with the efficiency and environmental benefits of an all-electric powertrain. Designed for businesses and fleet operators transitioning toward sustainability without sacrificing practicality or performance, the eSprinter offers advanced electric technology, strong payload capabilities, and impressive driving range for a full-size electric van.

On the outside, the 2025 eSprinter maintains the recognizable, functional design of the traditional Sprinter, emphasizing practicality and durability. Its aerodynamic improvements, including optimized front-end shaping and smooth underbody panels, help improve efficiency. The front fascia features a subtle EV-specific grille design and blue accents that distinguish it from its combustion-engine counterparts. Various body configurations are available, including multiple wheelbase lengths, roof heights, and cargo capacities, making it suitable for a wide range of commercial needs—from delivery and logistics fleets to mobile workshops and passenger shuttles.

Under the skin, the eSprinter is powered by Mercedes’ latest generation electric drive system, designed around modular flexibility. The electric motor is mounted at the rear and available in two output levels, approximately 134 horsepower or 201 horsepower, depending on configuration. Both setups deliver instant torque for responsive performance, especially beneficial for stop-and-go urban driving. Power is delivered smoothly, and acceleration feels strong even with a full load.

One of the key strengths of the 2025 eSprinter is its battery flexibility. Mercedes offers multiple battery capacities to suit different operational needs. The largest pack, with roughly 113 kWh of usable capacity, provides a range of around 250 to 300 miles depending on driving conditions and payload, making it one of the longest-range electric vans available. Smaller battery options are available for operators who prioritize lower cost and lighter weight for short-haul or city routes. Fast-charging capability up to 115 kW allows the van to recharge from 10 to 80 percent in about 40 minutes, minimizing downtime between jobs.

The eSprinter’s cargo area remains as practical as the diesel version, thanks to the modular battery layout that doesn’t intrude into the load space. Depending on configuration, cargo volume can exceed 400 cubic feet, and payload ratings are competitive for the segment. The van also offers a towing capacity sufficient for light commercial use. The rear-wheel-drive layout ensures stability even when heavily loaded, and the electric powertrain contributes to quiet operation—especially appreciated during urban deliveries or nighttime use.

Inside, the 2025 eSprinter combines functionality with the latest technology. The cockpit features Mercedes’ MBUX infotainment system with a touchscreen interface, offering navigation with electric route planning, real-time range estimates, and charging station integration. Over-the-air updates allow for new features and performance improvements over time. Connectivity is a major focus, with fleet management tools accessible through Mercedes’ digital services platform, providing live data on vehicle status, energy use, and route efficiency.

Driver comfort is enhanced with ergonomic seating, multiple storage compartments, and available options such as climate-controlled seats, heated steering wheel, and advanced driver-assistance systems. Despite its work-oriented nature, the eSprinter maintains a premium feel uncommon in commercial vehicles, blending practicality with refinement.

Driving dynamics are predictable and composed. The low center of gravity from the underfloor battery improves stability, while regenerative braking can be adjusted to suit driving style and terrain. The eSprinter handles city traffic smoothly and quietly, with instant torque making it agile even when fully loaded. Mercedes has tuned the suspension to maintain ride comfort while ensuring durability for long-term commercial use.

Safety remains a core priority, with standard features including forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and crosswind stabilization. Optional features such as blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree camera system enhance driver awareness, particularly in busy urban environments or tight loading zones.

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter is designed for companies seeking to modernize their fleets while maintaining operational reliability. Its mix of strong range, modular battery options, intelligent connectivity, and quiet, emission-free operation make it one of the most capable electric vans in the commercial market. For delivery companies, service providers, or tradespeople ready to transition toward a zero-emission future, the eSprinter delivers the proven dependability of the Sprinter line with the innovation and efficiency of electric mobility.

I had a 2006 ML350. It spontaneously caught fire as it was parked two hours after I had driven it. The firemen state in the report it was an electrical fire and started from a short in the rear taillight harness, much like the investigation in the C-class. They could determine that in only twenty minutes time. I brought this to Mercedes Benz USAs attention and they were careless about the safety dangers that this caused/posed. They said it wasnt a manufacturers defect. Might I remind you the car had been parked for 2 hours. God forbid if consumers found out that the ML-class would be involved in the same investigation as the C-class. They were of more concern about this being leaked or exposed and tried to sweep my case under the rug. They held my vehicle for about 2 months for their investigation and not to have any conclusion of the manufacturers defect is complete BS. They told me that the fire was inconclusive and not a manufacturers defect. Get this! They only gave me one case manager and limited me only to speak with her. After I had asked to speak to numerous other managers and higher ups they told me I strictly couldnt. After being trapped in this corporate cover up I had nowhere else to turn. SUSAN (my west coast regional case manager). How many other vehicle cases did they sweep under the rug like mine? I do not expect this kind of cover-up from Mercedes and would expect them to stand behind their vehicles. I only had 76,000 miles on it. An absolute nightmare!! THIS WENT TO CBS2 KCAL 9 THE BBB, NHTSA, numerous auto blogs ,CAS and the Federal Trade commission . IM STILL NOT DONE!!

Many people seem to complain as just read on this site about MB. I currently own a 95 SL500, a 2004 S55, and a 2017 GLC300. If you search for an SUV of the small size like the GLC, you will see that there are many choices and the price seems to be all the same. We looked at GM as I also have a 20 year old Tahoe that I use to tow stuff. For the money the MB is comfortable and particularly nice looking for a car of the type (I will have to say kinda common) but it still has the status of driving a Mercedes. But in many cases we found it cheaper than other brands. As for my 21 year old SL it has 45k on the odometer and I have done all the maintenance like it was being driven every day and I havent thought twice to get in and take a long trip. It cost 102k 20 years ago and my house was a few bucks more, you have to treat it as a car built for speed and handling so expensive is the word to describe the car. Even though you can buy one for 4 thousand bucks, it is still a 100k car.The S55 is simply a great pleasure to drive with so much power and 3 feet between the front seats and the back seat. My only complaint is the model prior was in my opinion better looking but again you expect the car to perform as new and it will with proper fluid changes, brake, cooling etc. This car is as new and handles that way, if you wait for items to break then usually because of engineering many other parts will need repair. The best thing to say is taking care of these cars and learning how to do the maintenance will save money and also let you see problems that are required for a repair. Enough said.

In the past few months I have had four flat tires on my 2011 E350. It seems that I keep getting flats from slight pot holes or even slight cracks or uneveness in the road that I drive on. I have become wary of driving my car as I may get stranded. The tires are fairly new and suddenly I am getting these complete flats (not from nails but driving in a slight pot hole or uneven surface) in the past two months. I have had this car two years prior without issues. Wondering if anyone else has tire complaints on the E350 and give me suggestions of why this could be happening.

Second time in 1 year 2 tires blew out on the road in NYC. Paid first time for 2 tires because was told the wheel alignment was the cause of the bubbles on the tires. In fact the tires were defective and the car was at all times maintained on schedule by the dealer (2013 model S550). They wanted to charge for the tire replacement second time and charge for the wheel alignment - again the dealer maintains the car. My conclusion is that the tires are defective or not suited for driving in the city. This is the last time I will buy a Mercedes - poor quality, poor overpriced service...

The reviews on MB were great so I purchased my E350 in good condition in 2011 and thought I was home free. Less did I know I was in for big problems to come? I have been in 3 potholes and each time there is a problem. In all the 3 occasions the tires were total and I have to get new ones to replace. Also out of the 3 incidents 2 rims had to be replaced. The rims were damaged so badly that it seemed they were in serious accidents. I cannot bring myself to believe that Mercedes Benz wheels quality are so cheap that any small hole could damage the tires plus the rims. The recent incident cost me a total of $1700 for a tire and a rim. This is the second time I am shelling out this amount of money. This is disturbing. I am now not even confident driving my E350. Constantly looking out for holes on the street to avoid and this is dangerous considering other cars on the road. Avoiding potholes may rather lead to a crash with another car. In all my cars that I have owned since obtaining my drivers license (25 years ago) I have never had a rim damaged with potholes but under 1.5 years I have had 2 rims damaged on a supposedly durable car. I am thinking a more safer and ordinary make car and park the E350 somewhere. I feel very unsafe now driving the E350 and moreover I dont have $1700 to shell out all the time. I am surprised there are no recalls on the wheels. The wheels require a more durable material.

I dont have any problems like other owners of Mercedes-Benz described here but I am a little bit confused now and scared after reading these horrible reviews if it would be really possible to have problems like brakes complete failure on the highway or sudden fire or any other catastrophic failures resulting in expensive repairs. I do maintain my car myself and so far I dont have any problems - my original tires lasted to 50,000 mi, front rotors and pads replaced for the ceramic at 50,000 miles, I change the oil every 10,000 miles, oil filter after 5,000 miles (it is nicely accessible from the top of the engine - not like other US cars). I have only one issue with rattling sound at the slow speed in the rear on passenger side - it may be a shock absorbent. I have some skills (I used to be a car mechanic on East German cars like Trabant :-) so I can small repairs perform by myself. With something big I wouldnt go to dealership, I would rather find experienced private mechanic in smaller shop. I suspect that after visiting the dealership you may have more problems. Try to change the oils and filters by yourself, rotate your tires and save hundreds of dollars. I love my car and I hope that I will not have the problems like other people described here.

I got a brand new Mercedez-Benz 2015 C300. The luxury style with the grill
I got a brand new Mercedez-Benz 2015 C300. The luxury style with the grill that opens and closes. I got the car December of 2014, making my time with the car a bit over a year. For that whole time, my car has spent more time in the service center than I have with it. It started off with an ants that it was shipped with the car. It took them 2 months to figure it out. The ants would cover me and my 1 year old (at the time) while I was driving. Then the grill would not open, it malfunctioned, and it took them another 2 weeks to fix because they had to order the parts. Then it was the electrical, my car would not open. I would be able to drive to one location and then when trying to open the car using the remote or the door, it would not open, so I would get locked out of my car in the rain with my 2-year-old daughter. They fixed it.Then the car would just stop. It would come to a complete stop and shut off and not turn back on, another fix they said. After that, the engine, apparently for a year, I have been driving around with faulty Pistons. For some reason after all the time my car has spent there, they did not realize that the pistons were faulty, so my car would make a loud whirring noise. At that point I contacted Mercedes-Benz USA for the 4th time and they said they would look into it. Within hours of getting my car back, it had the same problem. More loud whirling and do you know what those amazing lovely people at Mercedes-Benz USA would tell me? We can offer you one months worth of payments for all your troubles.Yet my car is constantly going to need repairs and they are unwilling to either replace the car, terminate the financial agreement or buy me out of the car which I was willing to pay for another one. I just do not feel safe having me or my daughter in the car with so many problems. They do not care about the fact the car is going to need constant repairs because its under warranty. I am angry and disgusted at the treatment I am receiving from this car company.

I leased a Mercedes ML350 in 2012. We loved it, so we purchased the 2012 (husband drives it) and ordered a 2014 ML for me. From day one we have had so many electrical weird glitches on the 2014. It has an automatic lift gate that worked when it felt like it for almost two years. I took the car into the dealership constantly and of course they said all was fine and they could not find the problem. Particularly helpful is for the lift gate to not go up when you have your arms full of groceries. Finally, one day (2 years later), the lift gate got stuck halfway open. Went to the dealership and this time they said that the motor was defective. Really??? The lift gate door still doesnt always release and open but at least it works 90% of the time. The automatic unlock on the 4 doors also worked intermittently since the day I picked the car up. I brought the car in countless times for all these issues. Finally they did something to the doors and it is better now. I would say it works 80 to 85% of the time. And, I am pretty excited about that! I still have to dig my keys out of my purse which again is generally when I have packages in my arms or late at night in a parking lot. As I write this I realize that these are first world problems but when you pay upwards of $65,000 for a car, you expect the quality to be there and your features that you have excessively paid for, to work. My favorite thing about the car is... it has a forward collision warning system that senses a car in front of you has slowed down or stopped and if you do not slow down it gives a very loud beep, beep, and a flashing warning on the instrument panel. The first time this engaged was on a country road where I was the only person on the road going about 50 MPH. No one in front of me for miles and then the load beep, beep and flashing red triangle appeared. It scared me to death!Mostly it engages when no one is around. Randomly, loudly and making me jump out of my seat. One time that feature actually engaged when it was appropriate. Today I was driving home and the traffic came to a complete stop and I was slow to notice it. But of course, neither did my car. I slammed on my brakes and all was well. I have taken the car in to see if they could fix this problem and of course they NEVER find the problem. I have cup cooling and heating (yes, first world problems) but that doesnt work either because the fuse that runs that and the cigarette lighter blow constantly whether I use the items or not. Well, I dont smoke but it would be nice to use my phone charger. In the two and 1/2 years I have owned the car I managed to coordinate once having a hot beverage that I wanted to stay hot whilst driving and the heating cup holder actually working. Finally at the dealership they gave me a bag of fuses so I could change them myself. NICE!!! How about we fix the the problem!!! My complaints have fallen on deaf ears. There is a lot of talk at the dealership about taking care of the problems but they never do. I am now convinced that when I service my car they take it back to the bay and park it and dont really try to do anything to it. Mostly I am so extremely disappointed in the Mercedes product. Shortly after we purchased our leased 2 year old 2012 ML with 38,000 miles on it, the drivers seat MB-Tex wore out and started tearing. We had a ten year old Mercedes with the MB TEX that had over 120000 miles on it and the interior was pristine! We had another ML AMG that had 168000 on it and that leather interior was perfect. I think the product has seriously deteriorated. I dont think my leather in my 2014 will make it to lease end date. The service department at our local MB dealership is deplorable. Our family has owned 5 Mercedes but this is my very last one. I fear that our 2012 wont make the 50000 mile mark. I CANT WAIT TO GET RID OF THIS CAR! I strongly suggest you buy ANY brand but MB.

Our 300c has approximately 29,000 miles on it and has gone through 2 sets of tires already! Just returned from the MB dealer and was told that the 2d set of tires was of low quality that is why they are cupping. If that was so, why did the original set do the same thing at 15,000 miles? Apparently, there is something wrong with the car design. The quality of the car, a 2010 is definitely not what Mercedes used to build.

I love my car which now has over 200 hundred thousand miles. It is safe, reliable and beautiful. I will not trade in or sell it until I absolutely must because it is now an extension of me. Its a luxury car, heated seats, makes me feel special, and smooth ride. I have received a higher level of admiration and respect from others when I drive my car. Since the car is an older model it does not have technical advances such as a screen on the dashboard to assist with backup parking, which I would love to have.

I placed an order for a Mercedes S class through a leasing company in October, for January delivery. Having placed the order I asked the leasing company for confirmation that the car had been allocated by MB. The leasing company suggested I complain to MB and ask them to confirm allocation. I had both written and MB at that time and they seemed to be responsive to my complaint. I then had a call from a woman from MD in Holland and she confirmed that the car had been issued for production, with delivery in Mid January. I contacted the leasing company who subsequently confirmed that the dealer still had no confirmation of allocation. My attempts subsequently to clarify the situation have been a complete waste of time. MB Europe now consider that it is not a problem they will discuss because I dont have a contract directly with them and now it seems the conversation I had about delivery in January is a figment of my imagination. It never happened. In other words I am either an imbecile or a liar. The attitude I get from MB is its nothing that they will comment on. Just completely abandon any responsibility to meet their obligations and commitments. They have the nerve to challenge what I say when I have it in writing. Anyway, needless to say, Im appalled that they just couldnt give a damn.

Thanks to diminishing quality and outrageous dealer charges, depreciation on these cars is huge. If you avoid the hand grenades like air suspension, brake issues (2003-2006), exploding early 350 motors, and are prepared to never go near a dealer, you get an outstanding low mileage used car. I have a 1999 E320, purchased in 2009 with 45K miles, well under $10k. I now have 82k on it, and apart from a little A/C work, it has been trouble free and a pleasure to drive. Yes, oil changes are expensive at about $100, but are only required every 12k miles. I also have a 2007 CLK350 Cabrio, purchased last year with only 24k miles for under $20K. I have put about 10K miles on it so far, and it is as reliable and pleasant as the E320.

We have owned our Mercedes C230 since we bought it new in 2007. The Mercedes has outlasted our BMW 325i and our Toyota Tundra. The car still drives like new. Of course we have had regular maintenance performed regularly, just like we did on the previous mentioned vehicles. As of today, everything on the Mercedes is working properly. Unfortunately we can not say the same about the BMW or Toyota. Don’t get me wrong, the BMW and Toyota still had strong engines, it was the many little thing that went wrong. I have owned and leased multiple vehicles with Mercedes for years; one, which is under warranty, is the subject of this complaint. The moonroof opened, and never closed; because it is still under warranty, I took it to our nearest Mercedes dealership for repairs. This was in November of 2020. Now in March of 2021, my vehicle sits, abandoned and without repairs in the same dealership. I’m being informed there is no E.T.A. for the PRODUCTION of the required part that has failed on the moonroof mechanism. To make matters worse, they can’t even force the door shut so that the interior of my vehicle isn’t subjected to the elements, or for me to be able to drive it until the part arrives. We were given the customer service contact information for Mercedes Customer Service, and have come to find that they have absolutely no interest in aiding us in this issue. We were assigned to the Executive Referral Manager, Melicie. She took our information, informed us that she would be making a case file for us, and would attempt to find us options or some sort of resolution. Then, that was it; it’s been over two weeks and haven’t heard back from her; she will not return our phone calls, and when other representatives answer and make a friendly comment about “oh she’s in today”, after that they are unable to locate her or get her on the phone and “would we like her voicemail”. No I do not want her voicemail any more, I want my car back! I appreciate the loaner and I appreciate all that Star Motor has done for us, because they have their hands tied - but isn’t Customer Service here to Service the Customer? The loaner is not the sports SUV that I bought my wife, the car she loves but now is weary to have back because of the unavailability of parts. We continue to pay for this vehicle, we continue to pay for the full coverage insurance, we continue to wait. Is that what we’re supposed to do when we’ve been such faithful customers for so many years? Is this what thousands of dollars a month buys you? I would like a resolution, I would love a call back - I want the type of service I thought Mercedes was supposed to give their customers. Is it fair that this representative, Melicie, is laughing at us - or doesn’t want to deal with us, a Mercedes customer? Maybe an $84k car note to them is not a big deal or important, but this is years of hard work for myself and my wife.

The Mercedes E350 has been around since 2006. This engine is a true workhorse, which is featured on a variety of body styles. I have owned two of them, the first on a lease and the second one a purchase. Although my current E350 is a 2013 model, it still looks new in style and condition. I have found it extremely reliable and with the MB Certified warranty, a wise buy. There are a number of great improvements to this model each year, but my current 2013 is as good as them all. Asked for refund day 1 when I had an issue, and told they have a replacement plan. Bogus. Lies. Fraud. Deceit. Car in shop 21 days this last time... 21 days. Please tell me why a CPO vehicle still well under original warranty according to miles would need a new transmission-even if youd had it a year. Two or so months and new transmission dont add up. Even the service tech who worked on it said theres no way this car could have been inspected or passed inspection. Brakes, rotors, transmission, speakers, window motor guide, blower motor, steering wheel, and a bunch of other stuff. Are you kidding me?. Two or so months and all of this? 2012 GL350 blue - An absolute nightmare of epic proportions. Purchased new from my dealer to drive to Georgia. Drove the following day to GA and back. Noticed oil all over my garage floor. Called dealer immediately and took in. Told loose oil line. This continued to happen four more times. Drove car very little. Had two other cars. One week before I was due to turn in was driving it and check engine light came on. Called dealer. Said couldnt get me in. To keep driving it, that it probably was just a bad sensor and happens all the time. I parked it over the weekend and didnt drive it. Following Monday took it to take my daughter to dentist, dash lights flash, power steering goes out, car is dead. Had towed to my dealer. Was told engine full of sludge. Engine blown and they can fix it for $30,000.00. Words cannot express my feelings in buying a $70,000 car and having a blown engine at 26,000 miles with no warranty. This happened in August. I renewed my lease and took to a certified garage for repairs. Came home to an orange notice two days before Christmas from a repo agent. I called immediately. No one would answer. Left two messages. Called MBFS said they were no longer going to honor the lease extension and want the car back. I explained to them the car is being fixed. You know where it is and have the whole time. They agreed. Such a horrible nightmare. Made all my payments. Fixing car which was not my fault to begin with. Have all records of leak from my dealership, also the oil all over my garage floor (lucky for me my dealership did provide me with degreaser as their solution to get the oil off the floor, which it didnt), also have letter from Mercedes wanting to take my car to their proving grounds in Ann Arbor Michigan; that they are running test on the Blue engine from 2012. I would appreciate anyones help. Too many details to list all here. Most unbelievable. So utterly devastated.

My 2006 Mercedes E-Class diesel has 156,000 miles on it; still gets 32-36 MPG on the highway when driving 68-74 MPH. Oil changes have been at 7,500 miles and it barely burns 1 qt. in 7500 miles. Weve had only one problem, and that was with a power window motor just past the 4 year warranty period. The technology is obviously old, but the navigation still works as new. No Bluetooth originally, so we added a portable unit that works OK, but not like the new stuff does. If/when this car ever dies, well look for the last year that MD made a diesel and buy one of those.

We purchased a 2010 GLK 350 with around 70,000 miles on it. It performed well for several years although the headlights do not light far enough down the road. The driver seat MB-Tex upholstery failed in two places very quickly. $1100 repair. At about 100,000 miles the car would not start. The electronic ignition system had to be replaced for $2000. It had Takata airbags so my wife refused to drive it while we waited a year or so for them to be replaced. While waiting, the passenger door lock stopped working so that the door would not open. $1000 repair. About the time the airbags were replaced during the last year two other messages occurred on the dash. Problem with driver seatbelt connection and problem with the passenger seat sensor. $2400 to repair. We are ready to sell it to avoid more repairs.

I have had my 2015 C300 W4 since 2018. Here are the facts to my car and experience. I purchased the car at the Rallye Dealership in Long Island, New York. I purchased it at 12,000 miles. As of today, April 4th, 2022, I have a total of 36,000 miles. My warranty had expired in April 2019. On March 9th, my dashboard had a check engine light sign come on in so I took it directly to the Foothill Ranch service center in California. Again, I have had this car since 2018, barely drove or had any miles on it, and always received the A and B service maintenance at a certified Mercedes-Benz dealership. After checking out the engine light, Benz told me I had a positive crankcase valve and needed to replace it. The costs? $1,900. Plus, I had a diagnosis where I would need about $10,000 in repairs. I thought this was absurd being that I did not have any miles on this car or that my car would need such a costly repair plus $10,000 worth of other repairs. I reached out to the customer service team at Mercedes-Benz where I was assisted by a man with the initial S. He came back to me reading off a policy script saying they would only cover 50% of the total repair costs of $1,900... Imagine hearing that Mercedes-Benz wants to cover only 9% of the total costs of repairs my car needs. I reasoned with him letting him know I would cover up to $2,000 of other repairs needed if and only if Benz could cover the replacement crankcase valve. In return, he again reads the same script saying Benz cant do anything else. It was just so disappointing to work with someone who acted as if it was his money that I was asking for. He didnt even empathize or try to advocate for me being that I hadnt even driven this car. Yes, my warranty expired but again, I only had 35,800 miles when I initially brought the car in to check out the engine light. This experience with S really changed my perspective on this company. I am selling my car because I cant believe a brand like Mercedes-Benz couldnt even offer to cover a $1,800 repair out of the $10,000 costs of total repairs I was recommended to fix... Think about that and let it sit with you. This experience has confirmed and affirmed never to buy or support a company where although factually this car has issues and it is a quality issue WITHIN Mercedes-Benz, that youve amounted to a single percentage. Its incredible that I who have made all my payments and paid for all my maintenance services, was told no and that Mercedes cannot offer anything else. Even as a courtesy, nothing was provided. I hope that in the future whoever speaks to anyone or an S who works as Executive Referral Manager will note that they wont help you or will only cover a small percentage. I cannot wait to get this car out of my hands and provide my money elsewhere and not to this company. I am looking forward to the day this car is out of my hands, my sight, and no longer affecting my pockets.

Good afternoon. I am a Mercedes C300 owner and recently I have had some problems with my car not starting...I took it to the RBM Mercedes in Alpharetta, Georgia for diagnostic review. The diagnostic presented with a problem within the steering column which caused the vehicle to not respond. I in turn looked up info on this problem and have noticed this to be an ongoing and unaddressed issue with the make and model years 2008-2009.My question to you, upon communicating my concerns to the service center who currently has my car for repair, is, what are you doing to rectify this problem and since it is an ongoing concern why has a recall not been done on this or why are customers being charged upwards of 1500.00 USD to have these repairs completed. I for one know the cost of repairs for a car in this category of cars, but I do not feel it appropriate that because an issue within the manufacturing of this vehicle is a cause for repair should I have to pay to have an identified manufactured deficiency repaired. I am very disappointed that this has occurred a number of times and nothing has been done to rectify the expenses incurred in this matter.

This is my 2nd ML320, Yr. 2000, 63,000 miles. The first was a 98--a LEMON. Last week a man was checking the oil, and the hood suddenly dropped. Luckily, I was standing there and stopped it from decapitating him or causing a brain injury. However, it did cause a serious blow to the head. The Mercedes dealer in Tucson, AZ said this was a known danger. The springs/shocks wear out. Repair would cost $200. Mercedes Benz is negligent in failing to warn owners of this known danger, and knowing the danger exists, in not installing a security rod (as I have in my 87 Honda Prelude) in case the springs/shocks fail. Someone could be killed or decapitated if this heavy hood dropped on them. The Tucson Mercedes dealer was unwilling to lower the repair price from $200, so I took it to the mechanic who has kept my 87 Honda running for 28 years. He replaced the springs/shocks in the hood for $25 each, total $50. At the same time, to prevent a fatal accident or head injury, if the rear tailgate springs/shocks should fail, he replaced them for $30 each, total $60. So brand new shocks for both the hood and tailgate cost a total of $110, rather than $200 for only the hood as quoted by MB.In addition to this life-threatening problem, the sunroof does not work, the locks dont work, the rear windows get gummy if theyre rolled down, the plastic cover over the inside light on the tailgate falls off whenever we open the door, the automatic seat adjustment doesnt work, the air conditioner compressor died, etc. We are terribly disappointed in this car and in Mercedes for not standing behind their product, but rather charging exorbitant prices for repair. This is the second lemon weve had from Mercedes. Both were purchased NEW from the Tucson Mercedes dealer.

Ive just purchased a 2012 ML350. Though the ride and the overall quality of the vehicle is nice, the door lock on the passenger door came defective. Weve had to wait over a week to get the part to fix the problem, but the auto-lock function does not work. A company like MB cant even get a simple thing like the door lock. Its going to be serviced again, which my car will be in service more days then driven. This ruins the new car buying experience. I bought the car through Dez at Long Beach MB. I had the service done at House of Imports in Buena Park, CA. Not only I had to wait over ten days for the part to arrive, when it arrived some parts were missing, so I had to wait over the weekend and then some to get my car back. When everything is thought to be fixed, it wasnt. The consequence of this defective part and questionable workmanship is having the new car buying experience ruined and it ruined the image of MB. This is my third MB, and this is not something that happens to supposedly one of the most luxurious brands in the world. ML may not be their best car, but it may well be their most important vehicle this year. I cant understand how this could happen to a MB vehicle. Id understand if it was made in China like vehicles.

Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of owning my first Mercedes Benz. That was one of the big purchases that I wanted complete, once I finished college. 3 years ago I accomplished that goal and it was an exciting moment. Unfortunately, the experience of owning a Mercedes Benz quickly faded away after 3 years. My 2010 C300 doesnt even have $75,000 miles on the car yet and I have had to complete 3 expensive repairs on the car. Those dont included the repairs that had to be done before my warranty expired. 4/19/16 - Steering Lock Replacement ($1130 cost for repair), 10/10/14 - Blower Motor Replacement ($616 cost for repair), 10/10/14 Driver seat MB-Tex Replacement ($580 cost for repair). The reason for the letter is to vent my disappointment in the Mercedes Benz quality for my first car. Your slogan is, Mercedes Benz, The Best or Nothing, but unfortunately my experience has not lived up to that.

I purchased a 2013 CPO C250. What sold me was the unlimited mile warranty. I had discussed with the finance dept what was and wasnt covered. I had also discussed what the car was to be used for. The purchase was Jan 5 2015. The car was in the shop a lot. I average about 65k miles a year. I had used the warranty several times without a hitch. 2 weeks ago my car was in the shop and I get a text from my writer saying, MBUSA has canceled your warranty. Come pick up your car. So I did. I arrived at the dealership and was amazed that they returned a broken car that looked like they parked it under a tree full of birds. Very tacky. Now, afraid to drive the car. I baby it every time I drive it. Of course thats no good. The car left me stranded last night in the middle of nowhere and dumped all the oil out. Seems a little convenient. Almost like they knew it would happen. I have been in the auto business for many years and have never seen a customer treated this badly. Thats not the whole ugly story but Im sure you get the gist of it. Big thumbs down for MBUSA. BTW, I sell German cars and we are a class act compared to this manufacturer.

My car went to Mercedes Benz Witbank in August 2011, after I received it back from Mercedes Benz East Rand. The car was involved in a minor accident. After I received it back from East Rand, I complained about a noise in the engine. I booked it in to evaluate the problem. On the day that I was supposed to take it in, the alternator packed up. I phoned road side assistance for help. They left me next to the road for four hours, and then took my car to Witbank. The alternator was replaced but nothing was done to the noise in the engine. The service manager told me that I must drive the car until the service was due, which I did. On the 19th of October 2011, my car was booked for a service. I reminded them about the noise in the engine. That afternoon, I received a call from them, informing me that the hydraulic lifters needs to replaced. I was informed that it is not wise to drive my car like that, and they will only receive the parts after three weeks. They told me that I have to pay in over R10,000.00 as part of my contribution. I contacted my insurance. They are willing to pay my share if they receive a full report from Mercedes Benz. I contacted them and asked them for a report. They told me that they cannot assist me with a report, as it is confidential information. They cannot assist me with a loan vehicle, as they dont have any. I reported this to Mercedes Benz South Africa. After many phone calls, they told me that I must come and collect my car and drive it, until the parts arrive. I phoned the service manager and asked them for a letter, stating that if I do drive my car, that there will be no additional damage to the engine, and they must take responsibility. They agreed to that. That was 13:00 today. They promised me an email in 15 minutes. At 15:30, I phoned back and they told me they are busy sending the mail to me. At 16:50 I phoned again. The guy that promised me the mail, will only be back on Wednesday. I dont know what to do or who to contact.

If I could give no stars - I would. I bought a used SLK (2 years old) with the usual approved mercedes talk that went with it and at the check list showing what work had been carried out before I took delivery. The salesman told me that it was one owner. Turned out to be two when the log book arrived. Mercedes are washing their hands of this lie as the sales man has now left, although I did tackle him before he left and he was looking into it.The tyres were delivered with the check list showing 6mm. 5 months and a puncture later they were 2mm. Again Mercedes have no interest as the tyres are still legal and are not taking any responsibility for my tyres evaporating. I have done 1000 miles in this time. No way on earth have they used 4mm tread, but Mercedes wont budge. They are legal and thats it. I had a wheel taken off and it had to be hit with a hammer to move it. The mechanic recommended I had them greased during my next service, but on the check list it is showing that they had been removed and greased. The car now sticks in a low gear when travelling in slow traffic. Its been back to Mercedes twice. They havent found a fault and apparently no fault is showing on the computer but they have done 200 miles in my car to check it and the last time was delivered back to me covered in mud. I am 4 miles away from the service centre. They have offered to pay for me to have it cleaned (take to a car wash effectively). This is the worst service I have had from anyone anywhere. Mercedes customer service are just weird with their random phone calls that last about an hour but resolve nothing. They dont care about their customers and that it pretty much it. Ive told them that what they need to say is Im very sorry that you are unhappy and we will make sure that your queries are responded to and explained. Rather than their very defensive attitude of the car is legal, the salesman has left - what happened to the customer is king. I will never buy another car from them. Id rather take a bus.

We put in two vehicles in for repairs. Both were charged $310 each for diagnoses. Both were not fixed first time around. They did not even test drive the vehicle before the handed it back. Both vehicles charged for parts that were changed which did not fix the original problem. I would not recommend using this repair outlet unless you have deep pockets. Simple turbo charge problem ended up costing $11000.00. Worst workshop experience of my life. Same work shop couple of years ago did the brakes on my wife`s car and forgot to tighten the wheel nuts and my wife nearly lost the front two wheels on the freeway. Only stopped to check because the car was making too much noise which saved her life.

I recently purchased a SLK280 and have now found that it has a serious and well known engine fault. This was from EMS warning light and fault codes 1200 & 1208 which is for faulty balance shaft. I now understand that this is a well known fault of worn teeth due to material. I am now faced with a 5000 repair bill to repair this. The car is 2007 and has only done 22,000 miles! I have been told that Mercedes are not prepared to offer any contribution to this cost. This is my first Mercedes and one of the reasons I chose it was the perceived Mercedes quality and reliability. I am really disappointed to find a Mercedes engine falling apart after only 22,000 miles.

I have a 2004 E320. It has what appears to be a cracked left side fuel sender. Or so it seems!? This is a common problem on E class models - as Im more than sure you know. Campaign 2008-020001 covers this exact problem on 211 models 2003-2006, which my car is. However, when my VIN was run at the dealer, it is supposedly not covered!? The service manager tells me it’s ridiculous, that it’s again more than obvious it’s the same problem or defect. Yet not covered. He suggested I call Mercedes and after an “investigation”, I was told nothing would be covered!? An investigation that included or predominately was decided over, the fact that I have stopped regularly servicing my car at the dealer! My car looks and runs like new other than this problem. In fact I researched it and found the recall because I wanted it perfect as to trade in or sell and replace it! So Mercedes wont cover a problem that has 1,000s of complaints pending with the NHTSA. I cannot fill my gas tank because if I do, the backseat (driver’s side) fills with fumes and my children complain. I pulled the backseat in the service area parking lot, and we opened the hatch and saw the gas sitting in the sender (see attached pic). It was like we were looking at the pictures attached to the campaign!!! Yet not covered!?I have owned 3 Mercedes Benz in my lifetime. I can honestly say that I firmly believe they are the best constructed, most reliable, and sharpest looking cars on the road. I have spent years telling everyone I know, anyone that would listen, that once you own a Mercedes Benz, you cant own any other car. And I routinely argue with my BMW loving best friend (a luxury car dealer) over which is the better vehicle. My car has reached 125k. Its time for a new Mercedes. If any part of you believes I will ever buy another Mercedes when the company will not in good faith fix my vehicle that is so obviously having a problem that is manufacturing defect, then you are out of your mind!Im no idiot. I realize if you have even bothered to read this far into the letter, the company could probably care less about one consumer. But you will have lost a truly faithful customer who wouldve never bought another brand. And whom will exhaust my fingers and wear out my iPad on every blog, website, complaint site, NHTSA hotline, and anywhere else I can to be sure that I will deter as many people as I can from ever buying a Mercedes because a multibillion dollar company didnt stand by their product, and fix a maybe $1,500 problem. If you took the time to read this and take the time to compare my symptoms and pics to that of the campaign (and Im sure millions of complaints), then anyone with any power and want to do the right thing will help me and keep me on team Mercedes!

We had our car serviced here and when we got it back it CAUGHT ON FIRE and so it begins. Trust me... Its worth the read. :) Heres the situation: A couple of days before Xmas, our car shut off in a parking lot and wouldnt turn on even after roadside assistance came and we hooked up a new battery. We had it towed to Autohaus on Edens, Northbrook Il based on a recommendation and because it is a Mercedes dealer and we wanted trustworthy service. They did a diagnostic and had a hard time figuring out the issue.Tom ** was very communicative and explained they were checking the battery and all the electronic systems etc but it was taking some time. Finally, we go word that they had identified that it was the EIS system. They replaced that system, completed the installation and they did a multipoint inspection to identify potential issues as well as confirm that the battery, cables, mountings etc. were inspected and were AOK. This took 10 days.We got the car back. It CAUGHT ON FIRE while were were driving. The fire was where the battery is located underneath the passenger seat with flames and smoke billowing up. There was no indication anywhere on the dashboard that there was a problem. Thank god We were not on a highway and that one of my kids or spouse werent sitting there when this happened or we could have been killed or badly burned. Luckily it was snowing a boatload and we got the fire out by shoving snow on it and when the smoke cleared, we noticed the red safety plate that typically covers the positive connection had been removed and was sitting placed in the back of the passenger seat. We took pics, contacted our insurance who told us to contact the dealer and let them know once we had a cause. We contacted Tom ** at Autohaus on the Edens and explained the situation. He advised us to have it towed back there so they could do an investigation. We had the car towed up there and he called a couple of days later and stated that they needed us to authorize $500.00 to pay for a further diagnostic because they had to pull up the seat to determine the cause of the fire. He believed it was an issue with something shorting out the battery but needed confirm. We agreed to the diagnostic. He commented that they never touched the battery the first time we brought it in. We reminded him (we have his voicemail) that when we brought the car there the first time, he let us know they couldnt figure out the problem as they had tested the battery and it was working fine. They also completed installation of the battery (he confirmed) and finally they provided us with a multiple point written inspection report where they specifically stated that they inspected the battery, cables, mountings etc. and all are AOK. We again brought up the missing red safety cap that should have been covering the positive wires and he stated that doesnt matter and isnt the issue. We asked if the exposed wires that should have been covered by the cap could have caused the fire if they sparked and he said he wasnt sure but would know more once they did a full investigation. We waited and then received a report where no diagnostic was included but rather they just supplied the cost of the damage and repairs for $4600.00. Included in this report was a new multipoint inspection where they stated that they inspected the battery, wires, mountings and cables and all were AOK. Except that the battery had melted as had the connecting wires and cables. WHAT? Hmmmm. He followed up with a phone call and stated that they thought the battery was faulty and we should go after the battery company. We asked why that wasnt listed as a diagnostic he said he couldnt legally state that but we actually paid 500.00 to figure out the cause and we would need that to go back to the battery company. We also asked bout that multipoint inspection stating all was ok with the battery, cables, mountings etc. When, in fact, they had been in a fire and all was melted/seriously damaged. What we learned from Tom ** is that these inspections are a courtesy and they may or may not actually do them! What?I brought my car to Mercedes because I trust they do what they said they did. I trust their recommendations. It turns out that they dont actually do the inspection. These two reports confirm this fact. Which brings me back to the first time around. If they had actually done the inspection, wouldnt they have either picked up on a loose wire and/or the missing plate? Seems reasonable. Note to self: They do NOT do the inspection, just say they do.We asked him to document the faulty battery and then we got another report where the multipoint inspection reflects that the battery, cables, mounting etc. are NOT AOK and also NOT documenting a faulty battery as the cause but instead identifying some loose wires by the positive battery cable (that would have been covered had the cap been on or picked up if they actually did the inspection) added 250$ to the bill and sent it over. 4900.00 and no cause or accountability. At this point in the conversation, we contacted the head of service Jim ** who had Tom call us back because he was too busy. You can imagine our frustration! The worst part is Tom was very polite and kept saying we want you to have a great experience and be happy. Not possible at this point. We brought our car here in December and spent 1800.00. Got it back and then it CAUGHT ON FIRE while we were driving! We bring it back again and get a huge runaround with no clear cause, conflicting reports, phone calls that conflict what was written and all the while they have our car as a hostage! Finally after 2 weeks without a car Jim ** agrees to talk to us. He does not appear to have an understanding of the details to date and the gist is he asks: What do you want? Do you want me to pay for this? Cause that isnt gonna happen. Call your insurance and have an adjuster come out. We dont want to push a claim on them but thats why you have insurance. Once we figure it out we can get you loaner and I can cover your deductible.Progress! I contact my insurance to explain that we are at an impasse and give them the details. They agree that this sounds very suspect and they get involved (thank God) but due to Covid it will take them a few days to get out there. I call Jim back with the update and he says great but no deal on the loaner. There is a catch. I can get a loaner once insurance agrees that they will pay for it...interesting.... The next day, Tom ** calls to reinforce that we will NOT get a loaner until insurance agrees to pay. He ends the convo with we want you to have a great experience. Seriously? (Note: if you have a Mercedes, get rental insurance with your car insurance!)Finally insurance and Autohaus strike a deal that is less than what they charged us initially at $4200.00 and Tom calls to state that it will take them another 7-10 days but we can have a loaner as long as we bring it back every 3 days... no exceptions. What?! Has anyone ever gotten a loaner for longer than 3 days from Autohaus on Edens? I know I have from Mercedes downtown. We live 40 minutes away; we have 4 kids; We have been without our car for 2.5 weeks (due to what appears to be negligence). We never got a loaner the first time either....oh and we had our car serviced there and then IT CAUGHT ON FIRE which is why we need a loaner! This was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!When we go to pick up the car, there is yet another report differing from the first 4 and they have added charges for additional parts but dont know what the parts are. Literally a change for parts unidentified. They told us to pay the difference and that they had contacted our insurance who would reimburse us except...wait for it...not accurate. And regarding those outstanding charges that we paid for? They will get back to us on what they were for. Still waiting. What about MERCEDES USA you may ask yourself? Well we also involved Mercedes USA and spoke with Susan, Executive Referral Manager at HQ in Georgia and she is supposedly investigating to see if there was a car malfunction but dealerships are basically franchises and they have no involvement AT ALL! What? They said this type of situation has nothing to do with them. Also she indicated that if we got the car fixed, they may not be able to investigate which is ridiculous. You would think Mercedes USA would want to inspect what happened when a Mercedes Benz catches fire at the battery under the passenger seat while being driven and there is no indication other than the flames and smoke engulfing the car that there is an issue? And that this occurred immediately after having it serviced at a Mercedes Benz Dealership. I guess not. It is so far down their list that after we submitted the photos and took the time to fill out all the information she has not responded in any way. Thankfully no one was hurt or killed or this would be a very different conversation. How did it end? We got our car back and we got the battery back as well. We are waiting to hear whats next from Mercedes. It was too big of a deal to not leave you with the details so there you have it! Dont go to Autohaus on Edens and if you do: know that the multipoint inspection isnt real. To be quite frank do yourself a favor and dont buy MERCEDES. If you want a German car...I would say look to buy and Audi or a BMW.

I have been very impressed by its brand name because it has many features that make it unique and have unique features that make it a leader. And the most beautiful is that it is a famous brand and loved by many people. What makes me choose his/her brand among others is its many advantages including speed, internal features, ease of use, and abundance of refrigeration, making it easy, and available. What I do not like about the Taraz and often bothers me is the lack of the characteristics of the symmetry of the flash and the frequency of the circulation of many people and more than the same quantity of its price in the market.

2 years ago we purchased a 2011 Mercedes Sprinter van and have spent close to $14K on repairs. We use it for our travels for my sons motocross racing throughout the US. We have had nothing but problems and have had multiple breakdowns where we have gone into Limp Mode mostly due to the diesel particle filter. After reviewing some of the broken parts with a certified Mercedes mechanic it was known that Mercedes builds their engines with plastic parts banking on the fact that they fail within so many miles. Good example: who puts plastic parts for the throttle body on the valves? My wife just recently traveled with our 12 yo son 1100 miles to Oregon just after replacing the DEF pump and heating element system which cost me over $3k and was told we were good to go. Again she broke down. Your Mercedes a Roadside Assistance reassured me that they would take care of my wife to tow it to a local dealership but then wanted to charge us... Thank god for AAA. So where do I go from here? Does Mercedes have a solution to let me and my family feel safe?

I have had two cars now of Mercedes in 2 and a half years. The first one was one of the red ones that they have known about for 4 years and still carried on spraying with this faulty paint. I had not much success with the warranty procedure to the degree that they only wanted to respray the panels affected, this happen to be everywhere apart from one side I argued for a full respray as the car was showing signs of getting worse by the week. I got so fed up that believe it or not I traded it in and got another one. This one was involved in a accident that involved the bonnet needing slight fill and respray. I was told it at to go to a Mercedes approved spray shop so of it went to Looker of Maidstone Kent where the first week it was sent back to me on a transporter. I did not let it be unloaded as it had scratches and chips in the new paint work. Back it went for another week. I was called and told it was ready for collection and when I got there the bonnet was not put on the car straight and the paint work still not good. They told me they had resprayed the whole bonnet but this was a lie as when I spoke to the guy that sprayed it, he said he only went across 3/4 of the way, they also told us they had replaced parts, they hadnt. They also managed to damage one of my alloy wheels in transport which was refurbished. I still think I should have got a new wheel as there was nothing wrong with it when it went in. After week three I got it back. I am still not happy with it as when washing it I have a circular mark on the bonnet. I sent all my correspondence to Mercedes Benz and after 5 days they have told me they are not prepared to compensate me other than the free labor only offered on my next service. They cant understand why I am unhappy and have told me that I have to go to the ombudsman. This is unreal from a so called premium branded company. Anyone that can help me get this out on the internet as they seem to think they are untouchable by the man on the street. My main bit of advice dont buy a Mercedes if you are expecting a good customer service and after care. Poor poor poor.

My wife recently exited our C300 MB to come back into our home. She came back to the car only to find it had driven off down our hill, thru our brick pony wall and finally thru our neighbors boulder ditch. 7 weeks later, the insurance company totaled the car. In the meantime we have been complaining numerous times to MB head office over the fact that the car has always exhibited a safety feature in which it shifts into park automatically whenever, and every time, the door is opened. The one time we needed it to, it didnt. Failed completely and now we have lost our car. What really is disappointing is the fact that MB USA has completely ignored this and frankly if this safety feature doesnt perform, then the next time the car runs away on someone, the results could be more tragic than it was this time. Shame shame shame on MB for caring so little to even address this with us.

Living a relative short time with a 2001 E430 was a disaster. The troubles started at only 4,000 miles. Massive electrical issues such as A/C, window, seats, Bose stereo, instrument cluster digits going blank, numerous check engine lights, ABS failure, traction control failure, speed sensor failure and constant Hella headlight issues. Despite repairs made under warranty, I found myself at the dealer at least once a month. There were more than several mechanical issues as well such as engine mounts, V8 running on 4 cylinders only, and many many more. I sold the car at a loss, but I am very glad I did. If you pay $70,000 or less or more, you should expect quality. Mercedes Benz obviously isnt concerned about quality. Motor Werks dealer in Chicago is careless. This was my third nightmare with a Mercedes-Benz product, and the very LAST. I have gone onto Lexus with absolutely ZERO quality and reliability issues-ZERO. Lexus customer service is impressive.

Do not buy Certified Pre-owned Mercedes Benz. They do not have the same warranty as a new car. Although we paid 60K for our GL 350 including extending warranty, and performed all the expensive services at the Mercedes Benz dealership after 2 years the car was diagnosed with heavy sludge on engine and needed an “engine replacement” which was originally denied by Mercedes Benz US indicating that a new engine will not be covered under the warranty because the Vehicle Mastery Inquiry (VMI) did not show any services prior the date we purchased the car. It was shocking for us to realize that the Mercedes Benz dealership in Miami sold us a CPO Mercedes-Benz with no history of service. The engine was finally replaced but only lasted ONE DAY. Apparently the engine came with issues and a SECOND engine was approved and reordered. All this time they were referring as “NEW PART” or “NEW ENGINE”. I called US Corporate to find out what kind of the engine they were putting in the car because it was hard to believe that a new part has passed all inspections and quality controls but failed after installation. Then, the representative told me that both engines approved to be installed were REFURBISHED or USED engines. Our car was in the dealership for a total of 86 days while waiting for approval to be repaired. I lost confidence on the safety of this car, as it was no longer a reliable source of transportation for my daughter. We ended up trading the GL 350 for a new Chevrolet Tahoe.

The finance rep called me on a vehicle that I no longer had to tell me that I owed state property tax on it for 2020. The amount was almost 8x what I ever paid one year that I had it which was crazy. I had the lease vehicle only 4 days in the year, 2020, that I turned it in then she said they would prorate it. The new cost was slightly higher than what I paid for one of the previous years. Of course during the call I was getting mad since the rep was obviously lying or incompetent. I pulled out all the previous year’s payments (2019, 2018) and receipts after I hung up on her then called back hoping to get another rep. I didn’t realize it was her and she didn’t realize it was me. I told her the brief situation about the taxes and cost in which she also said it didn’t sound right then she pulled up my account. She then realized I was the person she spoke to earlier and of course it was correct then. They sent me the tax bill saying it was late. What? It was late because the rep called to verify my address to send me the bill. My address hasn’t changed in over 20 years and they never had any issues sending me anything prior. Since you are no longer financing from them the service went down hill. I couldn’t trade that GS in since no one wanted it. Dealerships were willing to pay off my lease rather than take it. Poor customer service in finance department is all I can say.

However, after about 8000 miles, the car started to have issues with the brakes, electrical system and front end, which I am sorry to say, I was forced to document meticulously, wasting numerous hours. To make a long story short, I was treated so poorly it was staggering. And by a Mercedes dealership, which I really didnt expect. I purchased my first Mercedes Benz, 2007 GL450 in 2010 from CarMax in Louisville. The car is very nice in luxury but has been a money pit from day one! After thousands of dollars in repairs, I still owe $12k and cannot afford to sell it with all the issues it has. I still need about $8000.00 more in repairs!Well, last night I drove to dinner with some friends. Approx. 45 miles rt. I parked it in my garage at 6:30pm. At 12:30 am I went out to the garage to take the trash out before retiring for the night and I felt heat from the Mercedes as if it had been in the sun for hours. I felt the hood and it was very hot on the right side of the front hood. So I pulled it outside the garage, in case of a fire! Mercedes does not intend to help me with this issue. I will have to call a tow truck today and be without my car. I was suppose to work in Chicago this week. Now I cannot. This is going to cost me loss in pay and tons of money. I am in fear of my life, but is need to work! I just read several reviews that this model has caught fire and destroyed homes and lives. I dont know where to turn for help. MB needs to recall these cars! ASAP! Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Mercedes has had a problem with the 48 volt battery since, at least Jan. 2020. The battery shuts off and the car dies even while running. I leased the GLS 450 in April 2021. The car did not start in October 2021 and the 48 volt battery fortunately died while not in use. The message on the dash was “shut vehicle off immediately”. It was at the dealer for almost 3 weeks and of course no loaner was available. When I contacted Mercedes about leasing a defective car to me (which I could have just as well purchased), it took me 3 tries before someone got back to me. Then, they refused to pay the cost of my rental. They said had the GLS been in the shop 4 weeks they would have paid for the rental??? So I paid for the month lease and had the car 1 week plus paid $2000 for the rental. So very unsafe car and poor customer service. Really sad, it’s an $80,000 vehicle from what I believed was a reputable company.

Mercedes gave me a reason why the turbo failed each time and each time their comment was that it never happened before with a B class. If that is the true, it means my car is a defected car and actually should be replaced. They only give the reasons and stopped at that. Im not satisfied with just an answer from a company that is supposed to be one of the finest in the motor business. My husband bought me a Mercedes because its one of the best, but my trust in my vehicle on the road is ruined and I am scared for the next time the turbo fails, the car lost power and had a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust. Fortunately, I was near the school where Im teaching and could reach my destination. What if my car lets me down on a deserted road and Im alone? I really want somebody to give me more than an excuse and with a practical solution to my problem.

I have driven Mercedes Benz for nearly a decade. I have trusted the brand; I have trusted the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Fort Lauderdale. However, recently this trust was betrayed. Additionally, I have always purchased my cars there, and always taken my car there for service. I recently took my car in to get the lights replaced. A week later the car was ready. As I drove off the parking lot, I opened the glove compartment, and it fell to the floor. I quickly called my service advisor; he suggested I take it in as soon as I could. And I did; after assessing the damage, the service manager called me and became argumentative, refusing to take responsibility. He not only betrayed my trust, he insulted me, his last words were: We are going to have to agree to disagree on this one. This is not remarkable customer service; in fact, its no customer service at all. The damage is self-evident, an obvious blunt force and trauma to the glove compartment. A client for a decade; I was planning on purchasing my next car there next year; not to mention, I spent close to $4000 on the lights and back breaks. If you want quality, chose a different dealership.

It has been a very reliable auto. I have always like this model. Its a sedan and I love sedans. I bought it used at a good price. It drives very smooth and has good gas mileage. It is roomy too. The controls are easy to use as well. I like the color and the low maintenance needed for the car. Very dependable, great for road trips. A friend hit a deer. The damage was severe and it kept on running. The only downfall to this car is the cost of parts and maintenance. The repair always recommend only using Mercedes parts from the manufacturer and there is a great difference in cost compared to some of other vehicles. Finding used parts is hard and cost more. Even the oil change cost more than other vehicles.

I leased demo car last year. Everything was okay. And one day, one of my door lock didnt work from the in & outside of car. So I called service center to schedule a maintenance. And before the scheduled date, somehow the door lock started to work again so I explained to them, Now its working but anyway I need to check up all around car. And they gave me C300 for loaner car. I thought that its gonna just couple of days so...C300 was okay. Now it passed over 20 days and Im still waiting my car to be fixed. Repair service center agent called me couple of times and told me that they are still waiting part from Germany which is acceptable. And later they called me back and they dont have any detail information where the part is. No tracking number at all. This is luxury brand, isnt it? How come they dont have any information. Not even ETA. Im still paying my bill and driving a C300. Loaner car is not an issue at all. I can call them to change it. I just...dont understand how their service is bad like this.I dont want to blame the guy who takes care my car. I know there is nothing he can do. But what. When they sell a car, they are so gentle, but they dont even know where the part is. This is very disappointed.

I bought a new car (supposed to be), a Mercedes C180 in October 2009. After one year, the right shock absorber has been changed. I told the maintenance service provider in Alexandria, Abis that they have to change the 2 shock absorbers (as I am a mechanical and marine engineer and I have some knowledge of mechanical issues). Anyway, they changed just the right one.4 months later, the left shock absorber was damaged (and its normal). So we have to change the left shock absorber. But really, they changed the 2 front shock absorbers finally. Then 3 months later, the car didnt start up in the morning. The service said it was the injection pump. Ok, Im still in the guarantee limit. The car still didnt reach 30,000 km. They said that it is my fault as the fuel was not clean and there was water in it. Ok, I paid around 3000 Egyptian pounds. 3 days later in the morning, the car didnt start up. So the service came, and they said it is the fuel pump again. Is that logical?! The guarantee of fuel pumps is 6 months, so I have to buy it again. The car is now 40,000 km in almost 2 years and a half. Do I have to change 3 shock absorbers and 2 fuel pumps in two years and half?! Dear sir, I bought a Mercedes Benz car, not a logo of Mercedes..Thank you.

I bought a brand new 2014 S-class, spending a grand total of $134,000. This is my third Mercedes Benz product. I gave MB another chance after learning they revamped their quality control and assurance programs. The past two cars had its share of very expensive problems, both electronic and mechanical. I have MB another chance on a S-class. Beautiful inside and out, great performance, and loaded with mind blowing tech. Its the biggest purchasing mistake I have made in my life. The first 3K miles resulted in speed sensor failure. At 3.5K miles, another speed sensor failure. At 5K transmission warning light. Dealer could not remedy until they consulted with MB. Warning light reappeared after three days. Decoded and reset fixed it. Now comes strange vibrations during shifts that can be felt in the accelerator when pushed. Dealer claims simple adjustment needed. Problem not solved to date. At 7K instrument/video cluster vibration during highway speeds. Dealer cannot duplicate because they cannot drive it above 65mph. The vibration seemed to remedy itself but I do not believe its resolved. I also complained about the significant amount of brake dust from the front right wheel/brake. Dealer replaced brake pads. At 10K the transmission warning light reappeared. When pressed hard, the transmission would jerk/jump/shoot like a true piece of junk manual transmission. At this point, I made it a mission to return the junk to the dealer. I didnt care how much I would lose, I just wanted them to take it back. The lemon law may have applied but I dont have time to jerk around with MB after three of their cars. I drive quite a bit between hospitals for work and my time is valuable. The amount of time I spent going back and forth to the dealer was nothing short of a nightmare. MB dealer will give you every excuse possible always stating that my S-class is one of a kind. Talking with other MB owners waiting at the service department, Ive learned that most of them were there because of a malfunction, not routine maintenance and/or oil changes like at Lexus. I do not have the car anymore and I have returned to living a normal life in a wonderful Lexus LS F. I have close to 12K with absolutely ZERO issues. ZERO! Goodbye Mercedes Benz. Strike three...youre out!

I have a 2007 ML 350 which I had purchased new. The car now has 117,000 miles on the odometer. For the past seven years it has been a great vehicle and the only problem I had was with a window lift on the passenger side. There were always little things like light bulbs, but nothing that was mechanical and needed fixing until this past week. The check engine light came on and when I brought the car in it was diagnosed to be a relay for the fuel injection system. A reasonable $211 fix. The next day the light came on again. Brought the car in again and it was diagnosed that there was a blockage in the air pump system for the admissions. I was quoted a $5,600 repair job. They have to tear the engine down to find the blockage.I was told by my service advisor that this shows up at about 115-120,000 miles. It is caused by carbon build-up. I maintain my car as per factory specs so it is not a lack of maintenance that caused this. In my estimation there may be a design flaw in the emissions system. Since the car is out of warranty the dealer cannot do anything for me to correct this. When I contacted Mercedes they said that because of the age of the car and the mileage they cannot or wont do anything for me. They wont even split the bill with me. However, they would give a $3,000 incentive to buy a new car. In the the meantime, my car has been rendered worthless. I cannot trade the car nor sell it with the check engine light lit up. I am at a loss on where to go from here. Any ideas?

I have a 2010 C300 MB and the driver seat tore at the seam. It tore at about 65,000 miles. I didnt report it until over 100,000 miles. I guess supposedly that was my biggest fault but quite frankly now I dont even believe they would have done anything about it back then. The seat is made cheaply from low quality fake leather... even if it did tear at 100,000 that is not ok either. I have had many lesser brand name cars with many more miles than this and I can say not once has a driver seat seem given away. I would only see this issue for a fraction of a second as I entered the car to sit down... out of sight out of mind. (My bad!!?) That being said I am just warning people not to buy the C300 series due to poor quality seats... poor quality that the MB USA wont even stand up for when it fails prematurely... unless you think a seat failing at 65 or even 100k miles isnt premature. The passenger seat motor also failed which I didnt complain about and had to pay to replace myself. I didnt want to pay again for another sub par piece of equipment so I reached out to MB and got no assistance. Even after going by the dealer they supposedly talked to MB USA and they refused to help I was told. After calling MB USA they had no record of me going to the dealership with this issue. Shocking! Very very poor customer service and basically standing up to do the correct thing. I have driven BMWs the past 25 years. It looks like I am going back to a BMW!!! They just made my decision easy!! Maybe BMW would have said the same thing I do not know, but I drove many for the past 25 years with more miles on them than this MB and funny enough I never had to call BMW (or Ford or GMC) to ask them to fix it BECAUSE IT NEVER TORE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! I have to admit I always put MB sort of on a pedestal but this experience surely brought them crashing down to earth!!! And they have landed in a ditch!!! Btw, I am now also driving around in a car that MB told me could kill me because of a faulty air bag, but they cant replace it yet... keep on driving it... Sounds like a great idea too!! Not!

I leased a 2019 GLA 250 from Mercedes- When I was negotiating the price I was told it was a demo. I said fine to that. I negotiated the price on Thursday October 24th, 2019, for a Friday October 25th, 2019 delivery. I was told the car had 1718 miles on it which was the deciding factor to me for agreeing to say yes and no further details were given to me. I relied on those representations to say yes. The next day October 25th, 2019 at 4pm I arrived at the dealer to take said delivery. The car was parked outside and was prepped. I noticed a few dings on the car. When I walked into the show room, I met the reps and told them my findings on said car. I was told that “this was a loaner and that there was bound to be imperfections”. This was not expressed to me prior. I then sat in the car an noticed the scuff on the dash and the mileage being 4424 as opposed to the mileage being 1718. I was shocked and speechless at that point and expressed my displeasure and the reps were equally shocked at the mileage difference. I hesitated on signing but was rest assured that all will be handled. I expressed to Mercedes of Brooklyn that I would like to have the brake pads changed and the minor scuff removed. I was told that they will look into this. Today is Monday October 28th, 2019 and I am told that they will not remedy the situation at all. Very unhappy!

It has taken Laughtons 5 months to identify the problem and I am now advised another 3 weeks to fix it. This is a totally unacceptable level of service. I am also advised that the earliest I will have the car repaired by is Friday 11th July.Since Im leaving for my annual holiday on the 12th, I have no confidence my vehicle will be ready in time whatsoever. I have been further advised that a loan vehicle from you would not be insured for driving in Europe and is therefore of no use to me. I have therefore to revert to my position of two weeks ago when I wrote: I give notice that unless this fault is fixed by the 30th June 2014, then I will ask you for a permanent replacement vehicle of an equal or superior specification. In November of 2018 I purchased a 2016 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 from Mercedes Music City in Nashville, Tenn. It had 20,000 miles and several months left on the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty. I live in Gainesville, Ga so flew there and drove it home. After driving it for 700 miles the check engine light came on and took it to RBM Mercedes of Roswell, GA. They found a few particles of something that was never identified residue in the fuel tank. I also found out the prior owner had check engine light issues also. RBM and Mercedes corporate determined it must be something I put in there and it contaminated the whole fuel system and now it needed $15,000 worth of repairs (whole fuel system needed replacement). I had driven it 700 miles and put 2 tanks of fuel in it. They refused to fix it. I did a lot of research on the internet. They charged me over $1,000 for cleaning out the tank and fuel lines and I left. I took it to an independent Diesel mechanic who tested the injector pump and said it wasnt putting out enough pressure. He replace it and the lift pump in the tank. Cost for repair was $2700. Pump was a warranty item. There was nothing in the old pump. It was just defective. Dealer and Mercedes misdiagnosed the problem and will not pay the repair. They insist they were right. The woman I spoke to at Mercedes was arrogant and didnt give a crap what I had to say or what I could prove. If you’re thinking of buying a Mercedes- dont. Buy a different Vehicle. This will be my last Mercedes.

I have had numerous flat tires with my S550 (6) and now my 2014 E500 (5). I live in Westchester, NY. I know that the roads in the Northeast during the winter have numerous defects/potholes which can cause problems with tires. However, the low performance tires on such cars as those listed above become flat without going over deep road defects. Essentially, these tires are not safe to ride on the roads during the winter in this area. I have gone with Mercedes because of safety reasons. However, after my past and recent experiences I do not feel comfortable/safe driving my car at the present time. To pay $1500 a month and have to keep my car in my garage seems to me criminal.

My husband and I own a business and finally had the fund to purchase a brand new special order 2013 Mercedes Sprinter Van in Fall 2013: FOR CASH, No Financing!! Month one he had brake and electrical issues & each time he went back they told him he was crazy. Month 2-5 (last time brought in was one week ago) weekly visits for failing brakes, emergency lights coming on and scary noises from the van. Each time they find nothing and they tell us there is no recall. How can something become a recall if they wont report the finding??? We were forced to started videotaping things to send them but magically they would tell us it was something he did. The van has less than 2,000 miles but we are the issue. This van has been in and out of service every month but they cant find anything wrong. Each time its there, we lose money, so why would we want to waste their time and ours??? At one time they had it in the shop for over 2 weeks!!! We never had these issues with our used vans. My main fear is the brakes stop working when I have my kids in there or some child is crossing the street and the brakes dont work. We are told every time that they cant find anything wrong. We spent over $55,000 cash and we lose money every time is sits in the shop. The service people have not helped us at all in this dealership and we dont want anyone else to go through this!!! I dont know where else to turn!!!

As long-time, loyal customers of Mercedes, we leased a 2011 GLK350 which performed to our expectations until the third year. After 4 trips back to the dealer, Walters Mercedes in Riverside, CA, our sound system was completely replaced. After 5 trips back to that same dealer, we have never been able to resolve a squeaky and pulsing brake issue. Each time the dealership gave us a different reason for the problem but they never resolved it. We escalated our issue to Mercedes USA who told us there was nothing they would do because there is no recall. I even took the time to write to a senior level executive asking for someone to just talk with us and heard nothing.I have a bumper to bumper extended warranty on the car but the last time we were at the dealer they told us we would have to pay to put in new brakes. The car has 26,000 miles on it! It pains me to make that lease payment each month for such an inferior product. Would never, ever consider buying another Mercedes Benz. We purchased this beautiful black SUV in December of 2011, over a year ago as of today. I debated between an Acura vs. a Mercedes. I have owned an Acura in the past and was pleasantly surprised by Acuras outstanding customer service. However, I chose Mercedes, assuming they too would have impeccable service. This assumption was far from the truth. The Mercedes did not come with running boards and since I am short and we live in rainy Oregon, its essential to have running boards and mud flaps. We didnt want to have mud flaps put on until we received the running boards as the two really need to be installed at the same time. We have now been waiting over one year for the running boards. I have called Mercedes directly and been told we have been put on the preferred list but they did not have an ETA of when I would actually get them.To make matters worse, I purchased rubber floor mats and received a recall notice for the drivers side, took the mat in and was told they had to actually take the current mat, mail it to Mercedes and wait for Mercedes to mail the new one back. Again I am told, no ETA, and off the cuff, good luck with that...

He said “I do not know”, finally I talk to dealer who got mechanic on the phone and gave him instructions. Car reached dealership, of course the key is wrong, got another key from Texas and it worked. It is amazing how after charging so much people can be doing such mistakes, no apology and no loaner. I was without car for 3 days after paying $300.00 for key and no fault of my own. I would rather drive a Hyundai because this car gets me car sick to drive it and not only that I am afraid to drive because I might get into a car crash because of the way it drives. They say that the turbo is making it stop and go and shake. We have a brand new Porsche and it does not do what this car does. When I am at a red light and the light turns green the car stalls. I have taken it back several times. I am tired and I believe that I should just go through the Lemon Law because no one seems to want to help. I have 1998 CLK 230 Kompressor which I have been enjoying without any problems whatsoever. In one of my routine maintenance schedule, the service mechanic required the car manual for reference which I gave him. A couple of days when I required it, I was told he lost it along side other documents. Of course, there was nothing I could do about it. Recently, the battery ran down, thereby locking the trunk without access to the battery in the trunk for jump-starting. I was able to start it much later. However, due to the run-down battery, I could not play my radio/cassette/CD due to code requirements (I didnt know it was coded). I have not played music for over 2 months and this is choking me up. What options have I got? Any answer or opinion?

In July of 2011, I purchased a certified pre-owned Mercedes E350 with about 10,000 miles on it. Now, less than 3 months of owning this car, the air conditioning smells awful when I turn it on, I mean it literally smells like feces or sewage. I stopped by the Mercedes dealer today (8-October-2011) where I purchased it from only to be told that Mercedes is not warranting this problem. I was told he had 4 customers just this week reporting the exact same thing. It would be my responsibility to pay for what would be the amount of a temporary fix; replacing the cabin air-filter and spraying some Lysol-type disinfectant in the coil condensate box, costing around $180 to $200. This same scenario would need to be repeated at least yearly or more often. The service adviser himself even stated he did not agree with Mercedes not warranting this problem, and even stating that Mercedes does not believe it to be a problem. Well try driving my car with the A/C on with the smell that immediately begins to fill the car. It nearly makes you want to vomit so bad. My A/C is virtually unusable because of it. I have owned Mercedes cars since 2008 and not once have I had an issue, until now. And this is making me seriously contemplate selling the car (at a substantial loss because who wants to buy a car that smells like sewage) and buying something else. I had considered myself to be a lifelong Mercedes owner/driver, but if they refuse to stand by their product, then why should I remain loyal to them? It is an engineering and design defect that needs to be retrofitted and corrected. Come on Mercedes, do something about this, or I wont be the only Mercedes customer that youll lose to another manufacturer.

Updated on 11/01/2021: Between the emails and postal mail with no regard so say “stop messaging me.” I tried their live chat. I asked to be removed from their mailing list(s) and mind you the service dept. In short Suzie with live chat would tell me the sales team would be in touch. When I would type a response say I am not interested in being in touch with the sales team! She would retype the same and of I disagreed Suzie would end the chat. After serveral attempts finally she said she would relay my request. Ok finally right? Nope. An email from the sales dept. Why do companies offer customer support when all you do by reaching out is the “shut up and accept what we say and do.”Updated on 10/16/2021: I returned a call from Fletcher Jones from California. They were concerned about the review I wrote on this site. The details, facts and SAFETY CONCERN were once again ignored. This conversation when I spoke I was cut off, when I raised my voice I was threatened the call would end. I was to shut up and listen. Then the 2 yrs, not 1 yr I apologized to her and attempted, case in point, rear brakes never went out. Cut off! I attempted to explain how 2 yrs ago I was to accept what had happened by Fletcher Jones, the only reason I brought back up why was the rear brakes never gave out. But I was cut off. My advice: Do not question Fletcher Jones or Mercedes Benz. If you are not willing to accept their shut up and take it. My intelligence belittled, I was blamed, I have been blacklisted. Trust me, its not worth it.Original Review: I took my car to be serviced to Fletcher Jones Mercedes Las Vegas. It’s a 1000 miles round trip. The service advisor called me and told me my front brakes and rotors were so bad. If I did not authorize the work to be done the only way my car would leave there would be on a trailer. And rear brakes were all most gone. I was taken by surprise, shocked! A short time before making the trip FIRESTONE had inspected my car (I buy my tires from them) and they said down the road front brakes and and rotors would need changed out. But no service light on dash no squeaking or pulsating while braking, But being taken by surprise I authorized the work to be done. When I arrived back from Las Vegas I took my car to FIRESTONE. I informed them of my experience at the Mercedes service. They asked when did the brake light come on the dash. I said it never did. They asked about any squeaking, pulsating. I replied that did not occur. They inspected the rear brakes and said the rear brakes are fine. I contacted Fletcher Jones and they refused to do anything. I was upset to be cheated but I let it go.Well over a year later now! My rear brakes are still fine. So I wanted justice for being lied to and cheated out of $1400 (apx). I contacted Fletcher Jones and they offered nothing except they wanted my business back. Whatever right? So I had a garage where I live who supposedly services Mercedes to just change the oil. Well that was a joke. It took over an hour for them to find Mercedes do not take normal oil. Anyways got the oil changed. I called Fletcher Jones and said ok you can check to see if they changed the oil correctly. She agreed. But would not offer to do it for free. I later declined. I just can’t go back where I was cheated and lied to.So I reached out to Mercedes I explained in detail what happened. Debbie from Mercedes responded that Mercedes technicians know what they are doing. And basically that’s that. She obviously did not read the message but I responded about his I was obviously cheated by fact and detail representing my case. Not a response. Being ignored I wrote a few more messages only to be yet ignored. I go to write a review on the official Mercedes Benz site and they rejected my review so on the same official Mercedes Benz site I went to like a live chat and the Mercedes Benz on the official site. Told me that I was not on the official site I sent her screenshots and reminded her that we are messaging on the official Mercedes Benz site. She refused to say anything except call customer service. So attempting that and reaching out to Debbie w/ Mercedes Benz I am not able to talk to anyone or receive any messages.I called fletcher Jones and the voice mail box of the manager is full. I called the service dept and after a a long duration of the phone ringing finally I received the voicemail of the service advisor who cheated me out of my time and money. I hung up like she’s really going to help. In short I have been blacklisted from Mercedes Benz as well as Fletcher Jones Mercedes Benz for not accepting their policy and cheating me.

With documentation: Purchased a 2010 ML350 Mercedes with 55,000 miles from a local/reputable dealer. Engine light was on when I test drove. Return visit the engine light was off and I was told it was a minor situation and after through check the car was in excellent condition. (Body, interior, like new.) Purchased the vehicle. Engine light continued to come on then go off. Weeks later the engine light came on and stayed on for several local miles. Immediately took for service. Had 60,000 maintenance done, oil change, other. Engine light stayed off. Drove to S Florida. Engine light came on again. Took to reputable foreign car specialist. Needed # 4 engine coil. Engine light off. Few (short) weeks later - engine light on. Immediately returned to shop. Needed # 4 coil replacement. Few (short) week(s) later - engine light on. Then engine light off & stayed off. Shipped to VA. Engine light off. Drove short miles - engine light on again - this time I returned to the VA foreign car specialist to determine why the light keeps coming on. Same symptoms over and over since before 55,000 miles on a well serviced car. Summary: This car needs a # 4 cylinder (head?) replacement, plus there is a TSB from Mercedes on this engine for known problems. Mercedes Corporate (told me I was not loyal to the brand) refuses to stand behind the vehicle. Corporate passed to a dealer whom I did not purchase the car from. They of course are unwilling to help. I have not gotten help anywhere. NOW I ASK YOU - Will you purchase a Mercedes knowing it could need a new engine @ 55,000 (+/- ) miles? No car with 55,000 miles should have these kinds of issues let alone what used to be the top luxury car. It is not the customer who is not loyal to the brand - it is the company who is not loyal to the customer and dropping the makers ranking from number one to number three (or below). I need a sound engine in my car. BUYER BEWARE when buying Mercedes Benz. [Note: If this saga ends on a reputable note - I will update this posting.]

I have replaced 3 tires on my C350 in the past 2 years or so. A blow out at 100km/hr on the highway and 2 tires that have bulges on the inside of the tire that needed to be replaced. I am told by a local tire specialist Fountain tire that I need to replace both tires on the rear and having spend a small fortune I am not prepared to do that. I was advised with low profile tires and the winters in Alberta that this is something I need to get used to and keep paying for replacement every couple of years. These are continental tires and I am considering changing brand and height profile of the tire... Pretty choke with being sold a 4matic that I love to drive but finding out the tires sold are not the right ones for our climate..

I visited the Dealership in Tampa Bay, Florida Mercedes Benz of Tampa Bay to get a diagnostic service since the car was signaling a malfunctioning alternator. I had to pay the diagnostics fee even though I still left without them telling if the alternator was the matter or not because the sales agents asked for me to buy a set of batteries for them to be able to check if the alternator was malfunctioning. The dealer fee was 149 dollars and they gave me a discount so I had to pay for approximately 120 dollars anyways. I find it very hard to believe that a dealership cannot check on the alternator by using one of their batteries if mine were not good enough for the job, which actually I have not had any issues with. I was very displeased with this treatment. I will not recommend this dealer to anyone.
