2025 Mercedes-AMG GLA-Class

Find big savings on Mercedes Automobile(s) at Auto Helpers. Low Prices.

The 2025 AMG GLA-Class (GLA 35) is Mercedes-AMG’s compact performance SUV. It’s a sport-tuned version of the GLA, combining tighter handling, more aggressive styling, and more power, while retaining much of the practicality and utility of the GLA line (5 seats, usable cargo, etc.). It sits below the more extreme AMG models (like GLA 45, if available in some markets) in terms of outright power, but tends to have a better balance between usability, cost, and performance.

Key Specs & Performance (GLA 35 4MATIC)

Engine: 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 with hybrid assist (48V mild hybrid) for better throttle response and some fuel savings.

Power: ~ 302 hp at ~ 5,800 rpm.

Torque: about 295 lb-ft (roughly in the 2,500-4,000 rpm band)

Transmission: AMG SPEEDSHIFT 8-speed dual-clutch (DCT) automatic.

Drivetrain: AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive.

0-100 km/h time: ~ 5.2 seconds.

Features & Upgrades (vs Non-AMG GLA)

Sportier suspension: AMG RIDE CONTROL Sport Suspension with multi-stage damping. More responsive, tighter handling.

Exterior styling: Unique AMG body panels, front grille, possibly different bumper, special wheels (19-inch AMG aero-style wheels are standard in some trims).

Interior enhancements: AMG performance front seats, sportier trim, possibly more aggressive interior styling cues, upgraded braking system, sport exhaust or exhaust sound enhancements.

Other amenities: Premium features that may include advanced infotainment (MBUX, advanced displays), ambient lighting, driver assistance features, etc.

Efficiency & Fuel Economy

Because of the mild hybrid assist, the GLA 35 has somewhat better responsiveness and maybe minor fuel-savings in certain conditions, but it remains a performance vehicle, so fuel consumption is relatively higher compared to non-AMG or lower-powered GLA trims.

In Canadian specs: ~ 10.9 L/100 km city, ~ 8.4 L/100 km highway for the GLA 35.

Dimensions, Practical Considerations

Seating: 5 passengers. Room is good for a compact SUV, though rear headroom and legroom are more limited vs larger SUVs.

Cargo capacity: The GLA offers usable cargo space, especially when rear seats are folded. Still, with the AMG tweaks (wider wheels, larger brakes etc.), usable volume might be a bit less compared to base models.

Ride comfort vs performance: AMG tuning means firmer ride, more road-noise under sporty driving, etc. If you daily-drive on rough or imperfect roads, the trade-off becomes more noticeable.

Price & Value

In Canada, the GLA 35 4MATIC begins around CAD $62,500 (before options/taxes) in some markets. Value is good if you want a compact SUV with sporty performance and AMG cachet, but once you add options, the price can climb quickly. Consider cost of fuel, insurance, maintenance (AMG parts/services tend to cost more).

What to Watch Out For / Trade-Offs

Fuel costs: With performance tuning, AWD, larger wheels/tires, horsepower, etc., costs rise.

Maintenance and repair costs are higher with AMG components (brakes, tires, suspension).

Usability: Wider wheels, low-profile tires, stiff suspension → less forgiving over bumps; might be noisier.

Depreciation: Performance crossovers/SUVs tend to lose value more quickly, especially when newer tech (EVs, hybrids) or emissions regulations shift.

I purchased my C230 Mercedes Benz from Ed Hicks Mercedes in Corpus Christi, Texas in 2007. For over two years, I took my car in for service whenever the service maintenance light would come on, indicating that the service was due. In 2009, after having service maintenance performed at Ed Hicks Mercedes Benz dealership, I asked a friend, who is a mechanic, to check my vehicle to see if the maintenance I was charged for was indeed performed. After taking off the unit that shows the air filter, it was clear that it had not been replaced in several years with all the bugs and dirt that had collected on the filter. Next, the oil filter was pulled out and it was clear that the oil had not been changed in several months, even though I just had the oil change less than 4 hours ago. On the maintenance receipt, it clearly shows 6 quantities of oil change. C230 maintenance book shows 5.8 quantity of oil per vehicle. After checking other C230 maintenance receipts, I found out that I was charged 7 quantities, on others, I was charged 8 quantities of oil for my car when it can only hold 5.8 quantities of oil. My question is where were the additional quantities of oil being used for if not for my car?I drove my vehicle for over two years believing that the maintenance I was paying for was being done. I now know that they were not. I contacted Ed Hicks with my findings and they admitted that the oil change and filter was not replaced. The service manager was present when I took my car in. He saw for himself that the filter had not been replaced and the oil had not been changed. The mechanic told the service manager that he had an emergency that day and just forgot to complete the maintenance. However, Ed Hick refused to refund me the maintenance they have charged me for the job that was not performed. I need a lawyer that can help!

My husband and I own a business and finally had the fund to purchase a bran
My husband and I own a business and finally had the fund to purchase a brand new special order 2013 Mercedes Sprinter Van in Fall 2013: FOR CASH, No Financing!! Month one he had brake and electrical issues & each time he went back they told him he was crazy. Month 2-5 (last time brought in was one week ago) weekly visits for failing brakes, emergency lights coming on and scary noises from the van. Each time they find nothing and they tell us there is no recall. How can something become a recall if they wont report the finding??? We were forced to started videotaping things to send them but magically they would tell us it was something he did. The van has less than 2,000 miles but we are the issue. This van has been in and out of service every month but they cant find anything wrong. Each time its there, we lose money, so why would we want to waste their time and ours??? At one time they had it in the shop for over 2 weeks!!! We never had these issues with our used vans. My main fear is the brakes stop working when I have my kids in there or some child is crossing the street and the brakes dont work. We are told every time that they cant find anything wrong. We spent over $55,000 cash and we lose money every time is sits in the shop. The service people have not helped us at all in this dealership and we dont want anyone else to go through this!!! I dont know where else to turn!!!

I have two keys for my 2006 350. I have replaced the batteries over the years no problem with that at all. Recently, I went to replace the battery in set of keys but that didnt work for all the functions. I could lock my car but not open it... strange huh. So I went to my alternate set of keys, used them for a while and then that set didnt work either... weird. I could open my car doors but couldnt lock them. So I have been using 2 sets of keys to run my car. Doesnt make sense to me.So I contacted my Mercedes Dealership and explained the issue. They said, No problem. Come in and we will order you 2 new sets of keys. Sounds good so far... but not too fast. Each set would be $300. Mercedes wants me to pay $600 to replace Faulty keys. I didnt lose them... I just used them since I have had the car. Now they dont work properly. So I have to pay Mercedes $600 so I can operate my car and replace faulty keys. I have never heard that before. I could understand if I lost keys... but I didnt... they just stopped working correctly. So for being a good customer (repeat customer) I am now saddled with a $600 charge to replace faulty equipment. If I do that... which I must... there is no guaranty the new keys will last either. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of... COME ON MAN!! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I leased a Mercedes ML350 in 2012. We loved it, so we purchased the 2012 (husband drives it) and ordered a 2014 ML for me. From day one we have had so many electrical weird glitches on the 2014. It has an automatic lift gate that worked when it felt like it for almost two years. I took the car into the dealership constantly and of course they said all was fine and they could not find the problem. Particularly helpful is for the lift gate to not go up when you have your arms full of groceries. Finally, one day (2 years later), the lift gate got stuck halfway open. Went to the dealership and this time they said that the motor was defective. Really??? The lift gate door still doesnt always release and open but at least it works 90% of the time. The automatic unlock on the 4 doors also worked intermittently since the day I picked the car up. I brought the car in countless times for all these issues. Finally they did something to the doors and it is better now. I would say it works 80 to 85% of the time. And, I am pretty excited about that! I still have to dig my keys out of my purse which again is generally when I have packages in my arms or late at night in a parking lot. As I write this I realize that these are first world problems but when you pay upwards of $65,000 for a car, you expect the quality to be there and your features that you have excessively paid for, to work. My favorite thing about the car is... it has a forward collision warning system that senses a car in front of you has slowed down or stopped and if you do not slow down it gives a very loud beep, beep, and a flashing warning on the instrument panel. The first time this engaged was on a country road where I was the only person on the road going about 50 MPH. No one in front of me for miles and then the load beep, beep and flashing red triangle appeared. It scared me to death!Mostly it engages when no one is around. Randomly, loudly and making me jump out of my seat. One time that feature actually engaged when it was appropriate. Today I was driving home and the traffic came to a complete stop and I was slow to notice it. But of course, neither did my car. I slammed on my brakes and all was well. I have taken the car in to see if they could fix this problem and of course they NEVER find the problem. I have cup cooling and heating (yes, first world problems) but that doesnt work either because the fuse that runs that and the cigarette lighter blow constantly whether I use the items or not. Well, I dont smoke but it would be nice to use my phone charger. In the two and 1/2 years I have owned the car I managed to coordinate once having a hot beverage that I wanted to stay hot whilst driving and the heating cup holder actually working. Finally at the dealership they gave me a bag of fuses so I could change them myself. NICE!!! How about we fix the the problem!!! My complaints have fallen on deaf ears. There is a lot of talk at the dealership about taking care of the problems but they never do. I am now convinced that when I service my car they take it back to the bay and park it and dont really try to do anything to it. Mostly I am so extremely disappointed in the Mercedes product. Shortly after we purchased our leased 2 year old 2012 ML with 38,000 miles on it, the drivers seat MB-Tex wore out and started tearing. We had a ten year old Mercedes with the MB TEX that had over 120000 miles on it and the interior was pristine! We had another ML AMG that had 168000 on it and that leather interior was perfect. I think the product has seriously deteriorated. I dont think my leather in my 2014 will make it to lease end date. The service department at our local MB dealership is deplorable. Our family has owned 5 Mercedes but this is my very last one. I fear that our 2012 wont make the 50000 mile mark. I CANT WAIT TO GET RID OF THIS CAR! I strongly suggest you buy ANY brand but MB.

One week ago, I received a call from Santander with which I am in a lawsuit with CitiFinancial and Santander because when they went to repossess my car, the repo man beat me up. He did not even come in a wrecker. This happened at 8:10 in the morning on a week day. I am now in appeal because they have lied unmercifully. I received a phone call last week from Santander threatening me because I took the case to appeal and should win. I recorded the conversation as I have all of them and that is how I proved their lies. I am Pro Se though not by choice. He threatened me then 2 hours later when I went to put my key in the ignition, the words came up take your key from the ignition. It left me stranded there that night. Did they lock me out of my car? I am afraid to take it in because I dont want them to say I stole the vehicle. I dont know what to do.I was stranded for hours. I cannot do my job since I am locked out of my car, this will keep me from filing my appeal. I am a nervous wreck that they are trying to frame me for something I have not done.

I purchased dealership certified GLB 250 with 7000 miles on it. The car was not driven for few months due to covid. After car had 15,000 miles and was due for maintenance, I was informed that the tires needs to be replaced. The car is less than a year old and drove 8000 more miles when we were informed to change the tires. I contacted the dealership to find out the reason for tire replacement only on 15000, I was informed that the tires are performance tires and are good for 15,000 - 20,000 miles only. This is unusual for a luxury car to have low performance. The brand has a reputation of a durable and sturdy car but to my disappointment I had to deal with the this issue on only 15,000 miles out of which I only drove 8,000.I contacted the Mercedes Corporate to talk to consumer affairs and spoke to Caroline who informed me that she will talk to dealership to take an action for goodwill and brand reputation. The solution provided me was poor and a negligible discount was offer. I am not happy with the Brand, the customer relations, customer service and the dealership.

I have a 2009 Smart car and the paint top clear coat is peeling off all over the car. If you google this issue, you will see that many of the Smart cars have paint issues, especially the red ones (which mine is). I called the Smart headquarters and I was instructed to apply for the Goodwill out of warranty process. I went ahead and got the estimate from their approved Auto shop and submitted that. I received a call today from Adam from the Mercedes-Benz headquarters and my request to have the car painted was denied. I saved for 3 years to purchase that car new. It now looks terrible and Mercedes-Benz has to know that this is an issue with their Smart cars. So, now I ride around in a crappy looking car. When people ask me how I like my Smart car, I take them for a walk around my car and then inform them that Mercedes-Benz will not back this issue up. I am very disappointed with their customer service. You would think that it would make more sense for them to fix the problem, versus me riding around in a crappy looking Smart car. Clearly, they dont care about their customers and keeping them happy. I would never recommend any Mercedes-Benz dealership. I should have bought a Subaru based on their excellent customer service.

On April 3, 2012, I purchased a pre-owned 2007 Mercedes-Benz SL550 from a well-established Mercedes-Benz dealership for reliability and assurance. On September 13th, 5 months later, I heard a whining, grinding sound coming from the engine area. On September 14th, I took the vehicle to Mercedes-Benz of Encino wanting the dealership of origin to investigate the problem. Their diagnosis was replacement of the ABC pump. After considerable negotiation for what I considered their responsibility, I paid $3015.95. On Saturday, October 13th, I started my vehicle and a red indicator read ABC malfunction. Also, smoke exited from under the hood and oil leaked. Again, it was towed on October 15th to Mercedes-Benz of Encino. After inspection, I was informed the ABC system hose had burst. The initial assessment was $882 for repair. After several emails to the General Manager, I was informed the cost was $629. My argument is two-fold. Although, the vehicle was not certified pre-owned, I expected Mercedes-Benz to had fully inspected the vehicle prior to sale. Second, when installing a new major pump, why not install new hoses preventing this malfunction? The first repair cost was outrageous, and the second cost avoidable and ridiculous.

My car is a 2013 Mercedes smart car. It is without saying absolutely wonderful on gas in town and on the highway. It has sunroof, electric windows, back windshield wiper, and heated seats. I wanted a car that was small but safe. I watched several crash videos and consumer reports before purchasing and paying cash. I get excited every time I drive it. It has an awesome amount pick up. It can also be drove manually and gets great gas mileage. However, I would include a simpler manual for how to diagnose all the electrical untangle figures that pop up on the dash and a meter or tool to reset. It has no place jack or spare tire too. But I am incredibly pleased with my purchase.

I had been a Mercedes Benz user for the past decade since Mercedes Benz began its operation in India. I had bought my first Benz E240 in April 2002 through Trans Cars India Pvt. Ltd. The vehicle is extraordinary and has served to my expectation. It is in a pristine condition until today. Satisfied with the vehicle and quality of service here at Chennai, I had bought another Benz in February 2007 (S350K) through Trans Cars India Pvt. Ltd. for about Rs. 82 Lakhs. It had no major or minor problems until December 2010. I had a minor problem with the front wiper controls in 07 Dec 2010. The wiper starts to behave in a funny fashion even when the vehicle is parked and locked. This posed a huge problem. Even after the service on December 2010, the wiper problem was not rectified. It was resent back to the shop on 06 Jan 2011 and subsequently for the same problem on 12 Jan, 30 May and 29 Jun. Still, even after this much attention and care, the problem exists and I was not offered a complete or even a remotely satisfactory answer for the problem. Even more, I was charged for the same unsolved problem by your people again and again.I had mailed you regarding the same but with no clear opinion except a mail for the same. Yesterday, I had to drive the vehicle as my chauffeur was absent. Unexpectedly, there was rain. The wiper did not function in spite of repeated attempts. I had to park the vehicle in the highway and could only start when the rain stopped after an hour. My question is, when my old vehicle is reliable and has no problem, why should an advance model have problem? Why am I not explained of the problems in spite of multiple inquiries and services at your authorized center? Why was the problem not rectified during the service of the vehicle? Why was there no satisfactory answers/replies about the problem from your people at Chennai? If you want more details of the receipt and fees, I shall be able to send it.This failure on the highways could have caused an accident. It is pathetic that a reputed and time-tested concern should deal with a problem in this unconcerned manner in spite of strictly adhering to schedule for maintenance. I hope that my problem will get attended here amicably.

Hi there. Whoever is reading this is my experience. I fought with my cousin for many years, Who is better Benz or Audi? I could not take it from him saying Audi is better. But now after owning many of Mercedes I realized he was right. I have a Mercedes Metris that I bought last year for $40,000 for my company. Used it for year and putting 30k on it. Worth now $18,000. Seriously. Tires are worn already pieces inside a car. They start falling apart. Looks more like Kia or any other cheap car. Whats happening Mercedes? You cant afford competition anymore. Then stop producing this cars. We will buy 30-years-old ones. They run better and have great value. I also own 2010 ML appraised $12,300 only 70,000 miles... When I purchased my new car in 2005, I wanted it to be special. My initial thought was to purchase a Toyota Camry. But after test driving a Mercedes (just for fun), I convinced myself that if Toyotas were great cars, then Mercedes Benz would be an excellent car. I really thought that MB would have better engines. But now that my car is non-functional at less than 100,000 miles, I wish I would have stuck with my first instinct and bought a Toyota. After reading different class action lawsuits, I find this to be a common problem with several MB models. I realized MB cars are not as good as I thought or had claimed to be. I am very discouraged with engineering technology on this car. I can’t imagine paying almost the same amount I owe to repair the car. But I honestly don’t see myself purchasing another MB vehicle again. I hope for MB to take care of its customers, as I have heard other dealers such of Toyota, Jeep and Ford taking care of theirs. I want Mercedes to get me in a new car, fix my car or purchase it off from me.

I bought a 2007 Mercedes CLK on 1/12/2012, a Saturday. I was told by the dealer that I could not take it home because the check engine light was on and they had to fix it before I received the car, a smog issue with California. You cannot sell a car in California without it going through a smog check. Seeing the light was on, it would not pass smog during a visual inspection. I was to receive the car the following Wednesday, 100 miles away, and they were going to deliver the car to me after they had fixed the problem. More than likely, they were waiting for my cashiers check to clear. I have receipts on all of this, stating they will deliver it to me at a later date and when they would deliver it. The day I received the car, the check engine light was still on and they, the dealer, instructed me to go to Mercedes and get the code cleared because they had put an O2 sensor on it. That was the reason why I did not get the car the day of the signing of the papers. Well, I took the car in to remove the code, but there were 5 codes on it, none of which were related to the O2 sensor! Here are just a couple of codes showing: random misfire po300, and po303, misfire no. 3 cyl and there is more relating to the cam. Now Im looking at thousands of dollars to fix this but they, the dealer, covered their butt by having me sign everything from as is to no attorney if I were to sue them. I want to see all receipts made on this car and see if anything was fixed on it as promised, and the name of the smog company that smogged this car. Im going to file a complaint with the Air Resources Board (ARB). I just want everything fixed with the check engine light off.

My C300 Mercedes Benz with approximately 52,000 miles started to have an electrical problem about June 1, 2016. While driving at night, the headlights just went out: completely dark. I was very concerned about my safety, pedestrians and other drivers on the roads & highways. This problem occurred repeatedly over several nights and I decided not to drive at nights for next weeks. I took the car in to Mercedes-Benz of Miami (AutoNation) in Miami Gardens, FL. The diagnosis was that the wires to both headlamp units was corroded and would steadily deteriorate to where the headlights would become totally inoperable. This is outrageous that Mercedes Benz has used inferior quality electrical material that would corrode in a car with only 50,000 +/- miles. Of course, the repairs are not covered because the warranty expired at 4 years or 50,000 miles and the extended warranty expired 4 years ago. The cars sunroof also leaked and flooded inside my car on two (2) separate occasions. I paid the Dealerships to fix these leaks but the last repair was not done properly so now I have water and leaks every time it rains which is now nearly every other day during the summers here in South Florida. This leaves a damp, musty, moldy smell inside my car. Im unable to open the sunroof to dry out inside properly because the little PLASTIC lever broke as Id attempted to open the sunroof some months ago. Everything about Mercedes Benz quality has steadily declined to using inferior, cheap quality and plastic materials. That is why there is so many increase of RECALLS on all makes and models of Mercedes Benz cars and SUVs. Poor INNOVATION, PERFORMANCE & SERVICE: MBs Motto!! Customer Service Manager, Atlanta, Corporate Mercedes Benz USA offered a $260 - discount towards repairs to me, a twenty-eight(28) years loyal repeat Customer who has owned several Mercedes Benz cars since 1988! I was called by Dan on Wednesday, August 10, to tell me that my vehicle was fixed and ready for pickup. I arrived at the dealership at approximately 5:45 p.m. I paid for the vehicle and drove it to Prairieville, LA, approximately 30 minutes away from the dealership. I went shopping at Walmart. I cranked my vehicle at 7:05 p.m. I heard a loud noise and the car cut off. I restarted and I had plenty of codes on the screen. I immediately called MB of BR at 7:09 p.m. and left a voice message about my vehicle. I returned the vehicle to MB of BR the next day. I was notified yesterday, August 16, 2010, that several sensors had gone out and it had nothing to do with the repair work that they completed on my balance shaft. I was quoted $1,700.00 to fix this problem. I only drove the car for 30 minutes, approximately 20 miles, and my car broke down. I was never notified about any other issues with the engine; however, I was made aware about some routine maintenance such as new tires, brake pads, and a shock. I have tried to talk to the owner, Joe, the service manager, Dan and Bryan, who is over at the repair area. I also talked to Gwen and Margie. Bryan told me that I told Dan to only fix the balance shaft problem. Dan and I disclaimed that statement. I never told anyone at MB of BR to only work on the balance shaft problem. I never knew anything about other problems and was not given that information. When I left MB of BR, my vehicle was clear of any errors. Bryan claims that he even drove my vehicle approximately 70 miles and he did not get any codes; however, within 20 miles of me driving it, it broke down. They disconnected the electrical system and removed the motor, and MB of BR is telling me that the new problem did not stem from them working on the vehicle for three weeks.

I purchased a new E-320, brand new, fully loaded. Hand washed from day one to this day. Driven only 14 miles/day! It has only 40k miles. I babied this vehicle and it is in mint condition. Looks like a museum piece! At around 30k miles the leather sit seams came apart! (???) Note that I have the massage package so you would expect a top quality leather. Dealer did me a favor and replaced it. Later I found out that MB *knew* about the upholsterys low quality they used. Now, at 40k miles the left side of the driver seat is peeling off!! Went to the dealer - horrible dealer btw - (MB of Nanuet RT 304 Nanuet, NY) and the service manager, without even looking at it said, Oh! Wear and tear not covered, sorry. Are you kidding me??? 40k miles? I weight 180 pounds, tall and slim. My neighbor has a BMW with over 80k miles, he weights probably 350 pounds and the seat look like new! Do yourself a favor. MB has the reputation but the quality parts they use - at least the leather - is horrible. Never ever again!! And also stay away form that horrible dealer. I plan to put a sign in my vehicle and drive around with a picture of the peeling leather and the name of the dealer who refuses to take care of it. That, based on the mint condition of the vehicle most likely will raise eyebrows. Shame on you Mercedes Benz!

Hi T. of Sacramento, THANK YOU for posting!! It is very interesting to read your input and observations based on your extensive experience with MB. Your example of the 2009 model year differential oil issue is concerning. I am in Canada, own a 2006 E350 4matic wagon, and it is my first MB ever. The car is super in handling, comfort, braking, quietness.... like nothing I have owned before. However, I have just been realizing from the forums and from approaching MB dealers that it can be a harrowing experience for the whole family when trying to get an issue fixed fairly. Is it possible for you to share with us, other caring and concerned MB owners, your ways of best practicing due diligence in maintaining our vehicles and avoiding costly mistakes as well? I have recently replaced both batteries in my car, based on forum advice. I now get a white symbol of a wagon with an upward pointing arrow inside the center of the wagon symbol, and a message that simply says Visit Workshop. Someone mentioned that it has to do with the shocks/suspension, and sent me a link to the Arnott site, which is a fabulous find. Better quality, longer lasting shocks than original MB. I, and I dare say surely other MB owners too, would love to hear from you on the many issues that can crop up in our cars, and the best ways to prevent, prepare and cope with them safely and economically.Strangely, I used to think that MB cars last a lifetime, if well-maintained correctly. Perhaps it still is true, except that it takes a celebritys budget today. Perhaps not, as the cars have all functions controlled via microprocessors, which has historically not been a German forte. Thank you.

I swear the mechanic there sabotaged my vehicle because I complained about what I brought my vehicle in for and what they did! Please! Do not take your car to Mercedes of FT Pierce or buy anything from those racist SOB!

It started at about 52K miles. Just out of warranty. I have read many reviews from others about this. There should be a recall or repair from Mercedes. This must be an issue with many 350 MLs. Any suggestions to have Mercedes take responsibility?

My 2006 Mercedes Benz R350 has the gear not shifting. I looked at it, the gear position is moving R-N-D but the car does not move so I towed my car to MB dealership near my house Keyes European at Van Nuys to check and make sure. So I met Karin **, Service Adviser. After she had check, she said I needed to change transmission and it might cost me $7,100. After that, I tried to call MB customer service MB USA 1-800-367-6372. Mr. Justine said he will find out what is going on with my car and he promised he will call me back with 24-48 hours. Since that day, I didnt get any answer from him due to holidays and time difference. When I bought this car, I was looking for elegance, trusted and safe. As Mercedes Benz has good brand name, when I bought this car I almost paid all of my savings from many years of saving and I always think that car will be good with no problem. I thought MB has always good service with care because of the price value that I will get from MB.

2012 SLK 350. MBUSA, I do not agree with your companys position. To date, we had the roof trim replaced, the roof trim brackets broken (in shop for repairs), the door panels replaced, the roof cover replaced, and we are waiting for the glove box door (the material on existing one is delaminating). In addition, there are paint flaws caused by poor handling (according to MBUSA). And, after all this, I do not hear any embarrassment or indication of compensations for my troubles from MBUSA or Daimler. I am starting to believe this is standard quality for Mercedes Benz.I agree, having an MB approved body shop do anything to the paint could reduce the cars value (if the value is not already compromised due the number and type repairs already accomplished). At this point, I feel I have the following options: 1) We can file a Lemon Law Claim or other legal claim. This option is not optimum for anyone and my wife will not let me. 2) We keep the car; but given the current position of MBUSA, it is very unlikely I will ever have anything good to say about Mercedes Benz. And my family will never buy another MB product and I will do my best to dissuade my friends, co-workers, people I meet, from buying a Mercedes Benz car. 3) We can trade/sell it and buy some other companys car. I have two very good vehicles from Toyota and BMW. Unfortunately, I fear the trade-in value of this car may be very inconsistent with the possibly overstated quality of MB. 4) We can come to an agreement about compensation/price adjustment. My wife likes the car and we would consider buying another Mercedes Benz in a few years.Honestly, I prefer option 4. You have my money and you can maintain your position, but ask yourselves what if? What if, given all the defects we forced on this consumer, we agreed to compensation of a few thousand dollars for the actual depreciated value to save ourselves more than $30K, $40K, $50K (times friends and family) in future sales. I appreciate your further consideration.

We put in two vehicles in for repairs. Both were charged $310 each for diagnoses. Both were not fixed first time around. They did not even test drive the vehicle before the handed it back. Both vehicles charged for parts that were changed which did not fix the original problem. I would not recommend using this repair outlet unless you have deep pockets. Simple turbo charge problem ended up costing $11000.00. Worst workshop experience of my life. Same work shop couple of years ago did the brakes on my wife`s car and forgot to tighten the wheel nuts and my wife nearly lost the front two wheels on the freeway. Only stopped to check because the car was making too much noise which saved her life.

Have a 3500 Sprinter Van purchased new in 2011... In the past year, have spent over $10,000 in repairs. The latest issue is that the drive shaft universal joints have to be replaced and the Mercedes dealership tells me that the whole shaft has to be replaced as the universals cannot be changed on their own?????? 2,000 for what would be a $200 job anywhere else. Seems everything about this van to repair is expensive... I have a C350 2009 that has a transmission double shifting problem from 11K miles. When car is cold, once you pass from park to drive with the brakes applied, you get two hits to get in driving mode. The first one is the common sensation of getting in drive; the second one is like somebody is hitting your rear bumper. After two years driving the car to Mercedes Benz of Pembroke Pines where they tried all possible solutions directed by MB USA, which include repairing transmission, changing computer programs, replacing a transmission, placing a new parts from Germany and more that can be seen in my car maintenance history, all of this represents two years of stress and loss of my time. Today, I was surprised that MB USA got the conclusion based on one of their specialists that the issue in my car is common for all other cars same model parked at the dealer. Is this not amazing? All the money and time spent to fix my complaint got the great and funny conclusion that this is part of the car design? It is offensive. It is frustrating that we, the customers, look for a good and guaranteed car that make our driving and lives easy without problems and results that now I cannot believe in Mercedes Benz as my dream car because MB is designing and building cars that have issues hidden, not described in their owner manual or at least notified to customers. What is happening with one of the best car brands in the world? For sure Ill not purchase any other Mercedes Benz in my life and will not recommend anybody believing on brands. All are the same! If somebody has a suggestion on how I may elevate my frustration and solve this situation is more than welcome to contact me.

My experience at Euromotor Cars in Bethesda, MD has been dismal. I had an accident and I took my car to the dealership/body shop to be repaired. The damage was assessed and I was asked about a dent on the other side of my car. I explained that that dent was not part of my accident claim. The employee asked me if I wanted it fixed for $100. I agreed to have it done and to pay for it out of my own funds.Over a month and a half later, when my car was finally fixed, I inquired about the work on the other dent and I was told that the quote was incorrect. It was really $2000! When I complained about the quote, I was told that they just made a mistake and that I was trying to get something for nothing.I explained that if I was trying to be dishonest, I would have included all of the damage in one claim. I added that although I lost my 6 figure job and was now working for 60% of what I formerly, I still pay Mercedes every month and that my husband and I own 3 Mercedes and SMART car. I was told that I should have sold my car and driven a $200 clunker. I was trying to explain that I live up to my obligations and that I felt Mercedes should do the same. So much for being a loyal customer who tries to do the right thing. I guess Mercedes doesnt value my business. The dent in my car has not been fixed and I have made a formal complaint to the National Consumer Service Center.

I have been to three Mercedes dealers, Ft Myers, Orlando and Naples trying to resolve these issues. I have also contacted customer service and nothing has been done. Dealing with Mercedes has been the worst experience ever. Mercedes Benz customer service does nothing to correct the issues. I am driving around a $40 luxury (supposedly) car, with a rattling sound that smells like crap inside. I assumed that Mercedes was a car manufacturer that stands behind their product but it is obviously not. My previous car was a Lexus and Mercedes can take lessons from them on Customer service. I received a safety recall notice from Mercedes in March 2017 stating that under certain conditions a very high electric current can flow through the starting current limiter causing it to overheat. This can defect can result in fire. As of today, July 13, 2017, Mercedes told me it has no idea when the parts will be available to correct the problem. The recall affects a number of Mercedes models manufactured between 2015-2017. Mercedes has a particularly torturous telephone system. When I finally spoke to a customer service representative it was clear that he could not have cared less. Meanwhile, I have a car that is greatly diminished in value in my opinion. We have purchased approximately 10 Mercedes in the last 15 years, including 2 within the last 2 years. We will not be purchasing any more. I called to file a complaint with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. I thought they might be able to help or have additional information. The woman barely spoke English and kept telling me my VIN number was not in their system. She finally put me on hold for about 5 minutes and amazing she found the VIN. She was equally incompetent at providing any information or in telling me what her agency would do. I asked if someone would call or email me. No way - government workers are not there to serve you apparently. Close down this worthless agency.

I purchased my C280 with 7 miles on it. It was the car of my dreams and my very first new car. To make a long story short, five years after purchase and a lot of money invested in maintenance and repairs and no warranty, Ive been told that I need to replace the camshaft plugs, sensor, adjuster, balance shaft, engine mounts, transmission mounts, timing chain and seals. Not to mention, both door handles broke off a few months ago (and to think I blamed my children). Whats worse, the mechanic added that those problems are common problem in C class vehicles from years 2006 to beginning 2008. Basically, the Mercedes Benz company is aware that this problem occurs in their vehicles due to a plastic camshaft that was previously used. Why wasnt I told this while I was still under warranty? Why werent the parts ever recalled? I am so hurt because I cant afford the $5,500 repair on my dream car! The quality I always thought accompanied the luxury of Mercedes Benz is a joke and I cant begin to express my disappointment.

In my opinion, the forward collision avoidance system (AEB) in my 7 mo. old 2018 Mercedes C300 SIMPLY DOES NOT WORK. I special ordered the car with the 997 pkg that includes, Driver Assistance, BAS+, and Distronic. I have been close enough to stopped or slowed down vehicles on the highway, that it should have at least alerted me (beeped) if not started to auto brake. During my 8,000 miles of driving, I have had cars cut in front of me or turn in front (as they went through a red light) and there has been no alert much less any braking. In addition, I was surprised to find that this vehicle apparently DOES NOT HAVE rear cross traffic alert other than perhaps from 2 feet away. That is, if I am backing up and there is traffic coming from the side, there is no alert! Even worse, if there is a pedestrian BEHIND the car or walking behind it, there is no alert other than if they are 1-2 away which is much too close to be able to stop. Granted, the rear camera works fine, but if my head is turned to look back as I am backing up, I cannot see the screen on the dash. The MB manual states: “If active brake assist detects that there is a risk of collision, you will BE WARNED VISUALLY AND ACOUSTICALLY. If you do not react AUTONOMOUS BRAKING CAN BE INITIATED IN CRITICAL SITUATIONS.” And further that “autonomous braking works at 4-124mph for moving objects and 4-31 mph for stationary objects.” I have made at least 4 visits to two different MB dealers and all they will tell me is that “their computer shows no problem.” They are unwilling to drive the car to attempt to simulate when AEB should work. All of these are common features on many $35,000 vehicles in 2018; I have driven some of them and the alerts and auto braking + rear cross traffic and rear pedestrian alert works very well. MB corporate is incredibly uncooperative which is truly shocking for a company that prides itself on its safety record and reputation.

I purchased a 2016 “Certified” Mercedes Benz GL550 with low mileage. Like maybe 22,000 miles? This is my 4th Mercedes I purchased and got serviced through MB dealerships. Two were new. Two were certified pre-owned. I did not even haggle with Silver Star Mercedes in New York on the price. I purchased a number of upgraded warranties, bringing the total up almost to $80,000. This vehicle was advertised as “certified.” That includes a 27 point checklist on the exterior of the vehicle. When the vehicle delivered to me, I sent pictures to the dealer within an hour of receiving it.There were a number of issues. I sent pics and contacted them, including the owner. The GM, Rob, got back to me and left a message. I tried contacting him back many times, left messages and never got hold of him. Finally, I left a message suggesting he text or email me a time he is available to speak. No response. So I contacted the owner again. No response. I live in Pittsburgh so I couldn’t just go there. Finally, I called a Mercedes Benz US customer service. They said I have to work through the dealership to resolve it. I told them I have tried and they won’t respond! So I tried to call Mercedes a Benz Customer Service another day, hoping another employee would be more helpful.Again, he told me I had to work through dealership for resolution. I said AGAIN that they won’t get back to me. They wouldn’t even call them for me and ask them to please respond. Like I said, this is my 4th Mercedes, with each getting more expensive! I was considering buying a G-Wagon, but forget it! I’m DONE with a Mercedes! I’m going back to BMW. I NEVER in a million years expected such a terrible experience from Mercedes! The damages were only about $1,500 to fix. My local dealer was appalled and got me an estimate. Never buy a Mercedes if you are buying a certified vehicle that you hope the company stands behind!

Living a relative short time with a 2001 E430 was a disaster. The troubles started at only 4,000 miles. Massive electrical issues such as A/C, window, seats, Bose stereo, instrument cluster digits going blank, numerous check engine lights, ABS failure, traction control failure, speed sensor failure and constant Hella headlight issues. Despite repairs made under warranty, I found myself at the dealer at least once a month. There were more than several mechanical issues as well such as engine mounts, V8 running on 4 cylinders only, and many many more. I sold the car at a loss, but I am very glad I did. If you pay $70,000 or less or more, you should expect quality. Mercedes Benz obviously isnt concerned about quality. Motor Werks dealer in Chicago is careless. This was my third nightmare with a Mercedes-Benz product, and the very LAST. I have gone onto Lexus with absolutely ZERO quality and reliability issues-ZERO. Lexus customer service is impressive.

After some of the usual Q&A, I told the guy to cancel it. He told me how great it is. I told him to cancel it. He told me how great it is again. After this went on a few more times I started saying just cancel it while he was still selling. He said I needed to hear why it was so great (not his words). This went on a few more times and I switched to say I want to speak to your manager. We went around with this a few more times while he continued to sell and I continued request his manager. Finally I told him one more time to cancel it and hung up.Then I called the number again, talked to a different agent, told him I wanted to talk to his supervisor regarding the other, rude agent. After a while a supervisor came on the line, sounded nice, but then told me I cant cancel the account until within 30 days before the trial period lapsed. The letter I received said nothing about this, and after a bit the guy said he could do it today (apparently a favor) -- but only after he tried to sell me some more! Of course he didnt phrase the sales pitch that way, he called it a reading a disclaimer. I tried a few more times to instruct him to cancel the service without effect, so hung up again. I don’t think I’m under any obligation to hear a sales pitch after I’ve given clear instructions – many times! This is not what we expected when we bought a Mercedes.

I bought my used 2002 Mercedes Benz c230 about a year ago with a small used car loan. Everything seemed to be okay with the car but that only lasted about 500 miles. Everything on this car is broken. My dashboard is dry rotted and chipping away, the side door panels just come off when trying to open them up from the inside. Everything I touch literally just falls apart in my hand as if its been put together with Paper glue! The controls that open and close the windows have literally just popped off and are hanging there! I have electrical problems, my windshield wipers dont work (I live in Florida), my air conditioning doesnt work... Ill be driving down the road and my engine just turns completely off and I lose all power to everything including steering. My SRS light is on so I have no locking seat belts, airbags or horn. The car is literally a death trap, I seriously am concerned for my safety driving it and to fix all these defective things that are happening is going to cost probably 100 percent of the worth of my car. Im a hard working person, and this car has been nothing but a big hole I throw my money into. Im still paying it off so its getting parked and Im biking to work. Bought second sensor from AutoZone same color but displayed same issue. Im in the process of taking it to dealership. Very unhappy and dont have money to blow.

Recently I was involved in a car accident with my 2015 S550 and damaged the driver quarter panel. I wasnt too concerned because I was in good hands with Mercedes Benz and knew I would be getting my car repaired in no time. WRONG! My car was towed to Mercedes Benz of Fort Lauderdale Collision center for inspection on 10/24/15 and was quoted approximately 3 weeks to repair the damage. 3 weeks seemed a little lengthy but reasonable to repair the damage, especially for the hefty price tag I am paying Mercedes for their ELITE service.I figured there wasnt anything I can do but to wait the 3 weeks. I called them BACK AFTER ALMOST 4 WEEKS PAST to follow up and the person I spoke with chuckled and told me it would take another 2 weeks because he said it was a lot of work and take time. He made it seem like it was such a daunting task that was going to be almost impossible to get done. Honestly, isnt their job to repair cars all day, specifically Mercedes Benz? A full month had past already and it appeared that it was JUST SITTING THERE waiting for parts to come in, insurance BS, etc. (I cant remember all the excuses they gave me). I am beyond frustrated at this point because I am paying $1800/mo for my car to sit there at Mercedes while everyone seems to just drag their feet as well as pay for a rental car for almost 3 months. Every 2 weeks I get a call with the same BS, it is going to be another 2 weeks. It has now been 2.5 months and my car is still not done. The 2nd to last time they called they even insulted me with hopefully by next year. Of course I wasnt too happy and had no choice but to wait for their lazy employees to take their precious time. A couple weeks went by and the same guy called with the same story, they needed another 2 weeks to complete my car! Where is the luxury service that I was promised by Mercedes? Am I missing something here?Fast forward - It is now Jan 8, 2016 and my car has yet to be completed. I have now paid Mercedes Benz 3 hefty payments without being able to drive my car. What aggravates me the most about this whole experience is I would assume when you buy a $110K+ luxury vehicle that you would receive the ELITE service that is promised to you when you are buying it. Since it is already sold the service received has been nothing but a joke. I feel it is my duty as a member of my community to issue this public service announcement to let everyone know that Mercedes Benz does not stand by their quality of service as they advertise. The hefty price tag you pay for their vehicles is definitely not worth the price and level of service youre given. Save yourself headache and time and opt for better luxury cars out there.

I have a MB 200C Avantgarde Limited Edition 2009. Vehicle has just reached 45000 Kms & diff has become very noisy. The dealership has offered a factory rebuilt unit if I contribute $1500.00. The muffler also has something loose inside. I thought I was buying German excellence for $75,000.00. Never had a new vehicle with major problem at such low mileage. Will probably buy Korean quality at 1/3rd price & keep the change!

Serious safety issue on 2012 ML550: My pregnant wife, 2-year-old son and I were bounced like popcorn in the car on a highway when the air suspension failed again in 10 days after the first repair. My 2012 ML550, bought in February 2012 with 10,000 km, ran into a serious safety issue. The air suspension failed twice in just 10 days. The Airmatic suspension system leaks and failed twice within two weeks. The first time was on November 27, on a trip to the hospital with my wife to do the pregnancy test; malfunction in dash at a stop sign after 40 minutes on the highway. The rear of the car sagged and could not be raised. I barely drove it home. It was bumpy all the way while my wife was tested positive for pregnancy on the day. It was towed to the dealer. They found a leaky distribution line in the air suspension system and they claimed they fixed it on the next day. But we felt the air suspension very stiff ever since. Then 10 days later on December 10, a day before we decided to send it back to dealer for a check-up, while dining out, driving on the highway at high speed, the malfunction in dash appeared and the rear of the car sagged again! My pregnant wife and 2-year-old son and I were bounced like popcorn on the flat bed in the car and barely drove it home. We had it towed to dealer soon after. There were more problems with the air suspension this time: replaced valve, relay, and now the compressor needed to be replaced also and had to be ordered from Germany. The car is disabled at the dealership at the time of this writing. The car is unsafe to drive now. It is less than a year and with only 10,000 km on it. I demand the full money back including HST from the manufacture because the manufacture has refused to replace me with a new car at no cost.

Last Sept. 2009, I leased a 3 year 2010 Mercedes ML-350 4matic. The water pump was replaced at the 5k mile mark. Both control arms were replaced at the 10k mile mark. The replacement resulted the off center steering wheel, corrected by miss-alignment with toe in adjustment, resulting in front premature tire wear and loss of correct vehicle handling characteristics. Steering wheel is still off center. The right front lamp marker error message detected at 10k mile mark one year ago is still not repaired. The left front brake wiring harness and sensor malfunctioned at 2 year mark with 18.5k miles. Both rear seat belt harnesses were defective from the factory, only the right one has been repaired.

I was a loyal owner of Mercedes Benz (two cars in the past four years). My most recent purchase is the C350 Sport. It came down with a transmission breakdown last week, after three years and just 86,000 miles. I had the car towed to the Euromotors (Germantown, Maryland). I was told that I was to pay about $10,000 in repairs. I became a Mercedes Benz customer because of your craftsmanship and reputation. I never expected a power train issue so early in the life of such a great car. I love the car; I enjoy driving the car, and I expected to remain a loyal customer for a longtime. In fact, I was planning to trade my C350 for the new E350 Coupe next year. The dealership is not willing to do a courtesy repair on my car because my regular services had not been completed by them. I would like the Mercedes corporate office to intercede on my behalf, but when I contacted them (in not so many words), they told me that I was SOL (short on luck), and I was at the mercy of the dealer. I guess I made a big a mistake when I left BMW to become a Mercedes owner.

This time it did significant damage to the garage door and the tailgate. Have you heard anyone else having this issue? Second issue when driving less than 20mph the back camera clicks (activates but does not turn on). This is a new occurrence which I believe is related to the tailgate opening automatically.

I keep my vehicles maintained on schedule. My 2009 C300 has just turned 80k miles. Upon using my car to go get lunch, it ran fine. Upon leaving lunch, the door lock and panel lights worked but the car would not start. At all. Had a local garage check battery first. Not the battery. Car then had to be towed 63 miles away to Mercedes dealer for servicing. They also charged $149 to diagnose the problem and a $20 shop fee (I learned this is for towels, lubricants and misc items. Mind you, this is a Mercedes dealership). $1500 later I will be able to pick up the car. In researching this problem, before having car towed to MB dealer, I see many other people on various sites with a c300 and with the same issue.I also can not get a straight answer about the recall for a past rear lighting problem. They say the lighting recall from 2014 is closed, that work will not/can not be completed. I was not aware of the lighting recall as I was in the process of relocation in 2014 and did not receive any communication. Very disappointed in Mercedes customer service and reliability. As a woman, thankfully I was not in the middle of nowhere when my Mercedes decided not to start due to a defective part.

First time buyer of a Mercedes car and of course I choose the redesigned 2017 E400. Let me tell you, what an awful ride and the number of issues I have had with this car…. this should be considered a Lemon. Complained to head office, service department and searched the internet…so much wasted time back & forth from the dealer. For the amount of money, I have spent I wish I never got this car. Mercedes has left a bad taste in my mouth and I could not even recommend them to a friend. Issue – Engine stalling, noisy engine, power window issues, awful ride (even confirmed by the shop manager), broken wiper handle, driver seat not staying in place, door leds blown, the new navigation/radio functionality not working properly, and so on….For an E-Class and the price tag, it is not worth it.

I took my car for service, paid for it but it was never fixed, and after several visits, has gotten worse. They now want another payment. I am writing to you in hope that you can assist me with the resolution to a problem with Mercedes Benz of Sanford. I initially took my car in for service of a part that was fixed but was also recommended to perform a service on my transmission. The car, prior to the service, was operational, but it was pushing a bit and jerked. One of the service men indicated that the problem was something that had to be fixed with a computer program. I had previously changed the brakes, so it was not the brakes. The technician told me that the service was recommended at 50K miles for this car. He performed the service and I paid for it. Unfortunately, the problem continued. I went back to the dealership and explained that the issue was not resolved and they said that they would look at it. They ran a diagnostic program. After they used a diagnostic service, one of the service men said that the car was fixed. I drove out of the dealership and immediately felt the problem again. I drove right back into the dealership and the service technician drove the car and told me that there is nothing wrong. He also said that they used a new program to extend the life of the car, an updated program for the transmission and that I would get used to it. The problem persisted and I was told by one of their managers to take the car to Tim at Mall of Millennia Mercedes Benz. I was ignored even though I had an appointment with Tim, and was told that he was in a meeting with the manager. I asked why they had made an appointment for me when he was not going to be available. They did not answer the question, but put me off again. I ended up leaving and the car was not fixed. I attempted to communicate with the managers at both dealerships as well as with the corporate office, and was subsequently told that there is nothing wrong with my car. The company will not answer my questions or fix my car, and the best that they did for me (case manager, Ms. **) indicated I should again visit the same dealership. On Thursday, September 5, 2013 I was on my way to a job interview and the car completely stopped and would not move at all. I was on a busy highway (436) and could have been in an accident during normal conditions. I was very lucky that there were no cars at that time, a very unusual situation on this road. If I had been on the freeway, I would have been in a bad car accident. After my interview, I took the car in to the dealer again and this time they seemed like they were actually going to fix my car. They provided me with a rental car for the time that their car is in the shop and they said that they would cover the cost of the rental car, as they did not have a loaner vehicle.I told them that I had already paid for repairs that were not originally performed and that I expected them to fix my car. Now they contacted me telling me that they want me to pay $900 for the repairs. I have already paid for the repairs that were never properly done on the car. I truly feel that they never looked at my car and did not fix what was wrong the first time. They have since had my car and are telling me that I have to pay this amount. I have already paid to fix my car and after multiple visits, many discussions and letters to their service center, they have yet to fix my car. I am asking for your assistance to resolve this issue as I feel that I have been taken advantage of through this whole process and that I paid for something that was not delivered. I would like my car to be fixed and have warranty for the repair and the parts so that my car operates properly. I already paid for repairs that were not performed and should not pay for something twice. This is a safety issue and they put my family and me at risk by not performing the repairs. I would like to have an explanation of what was wrong, the repairs. Please contact me at your earliest convenience.

I own a Mercedes C180 model 2012, and I had an accident on the 25th of February. The front part of the car is completely damaged, but all the safety items did not work (the seat belts, air bags). The car is now in the service workshops in Ring Road Cairo, Egypt. I asked for a report on why the safety items did not work. They prepared a very short report in which they replied to me saying that the airbag does not necessarily open in any collision, which does not answer my question honestly. Therefore, I need to investigate this problem because the car needs a lot of money, and I am no longer sure whether the car is safe enough for me and my family. This reply from the workshop is not worthy of the Mercedes reputation and this outraged me.

I went to get my car serviced and requested if they would make sure they would wash and clean my car; specifically, vacuum the car trunk. The service fellow assured me that they do it for all cars that they service and it would be done. Well it wasn’t. I expected they would wipe the seats, clean the glass but all they did was a shabby vacuum job and washed the car mats. When I called and complained to Gordon, all he said was sorry they were supposed to vacuum the trunk but I guess they didn’t. He went further to say that they usually don’t clean glass or wipe the interiors at all. But he would mention it to the manager. It was such a cold response from the service provider at Mercedes Benz. He could have said, “Well, whenever you can come by, we will clean your car,” but he offered nothing. Useless cheap service. When you purchase a high-end car, I believe the service and customer care after are very important. It is such a turn off, that I wouldn’t buy another Benz because of the lousy, “give a damn about the customer” attitude.

We purchased a Mercedes Benz Gl 450 for a total of over $47,000 in July 2019 and in addition to the car having warranty up to 50,000 miles, we purchased an additional service/repair package for $1,800.00. We spent all that money with an expectation of safety, reliability and the peace of mind promised by mercedes benzs multi point inspection, warranty up to 50,000 miles and the extra repair package that we purchased. Recently we noticed that when we first start driving the car has a noise on the right side, the noise is most noticeable when applying the brake and when releasing the brake. On December 2nd, we took the car to Mercedes Benz of Valencia and to say that the service department staff was UNWILLING TO HELP is a gross understatement. The service manager was derelict of his responsibility. First he said there was no loaner vehicle available therefore, no one could examine our car, when in fact I had called twice to confirm that a loan vehicle would be available to us when making the appointment. Then second he said nothing could be done to examine the noise in our car because the car had been in an accident, therefore warranty was not attached, but could not show me any of that in writing. Further, the accident was a minor one with only minor body damage which amounted to a $3,400 repair job and no engine damage was sustained. We stressed on multiple occasions that we needed to establish whether the noise was engine related or a result of accident related body damage. They eventually did agree to keep the car for examination, they called the following day on December 3rd and told us to come and get the car. Bill the service representative stated that they heard the noise when applying the brake and said there is nothing they can do because the brakes on the car are new and that they do not know what is causing the noise nor what could be wrong with the car. We are concerned and, worried about our safety, not to mention flabbergasted that the auto manufacturers employees are unwilling to diagnose the problem and are demonstrating a blatant disregard for brand integrity or customer safety. There was no report given to on what type of examination or assessment if any at all was performed on the car. There was no print out of areas examined and findings observed, it appears they kept or car overnight and called us in the morning to fetch it. Given that brakes are a very important part of vehicle operation we are shocked that the service department has displayed such a lackadaisical attitude towards a potential safety risk. We purchased the car which has up to 50,000 mile warranty or 7 years whichever occurs first and the additional repair package for peace of mind expecting to get the proper service that would address any issues and instead we were told by the vehicle manufacturer service department that there is nothing they can do and further they do not know what is causing the malfunction in a car manufactured by Mercedes and covered by a 50,000 mile warranty. There is something very wrong with that.

Mercedes-Benz dealership service in Pembroke Pines is the worse unprofessional people that I ever encountered on my experiences with Mercedes-Benz. From the service manager to the technicians, (if you can call them that way) they simply do not know what are they doing. Last week, I took my E200 (2006) in for servicing at the official dealer in Amman. They said it needed an oil change, filters and new spark plugs. The car was ready in the afternoon. On my way home, the engine was choking slightly, especially when I applied the throttle. I thought it could be a faulty spark plug and decided I would take it back the next morning. When I started the car the next morning, there was a rattling noise in the engine. I moved about 20 meters, there was no power. So I took it back into my garage and called the dealer. They sent me a mechanic who said the car must not be driven and should be taken back by winch. He said the two timing cogs above the engine were probably worn and the may need replacing. Two days later, they called me from the workshop to say they had changed these parts and also put in a new timing chain but when they started the engine, there was still a rattling noise which they thought was due to something wrong with the valves. They opened up the engine again and supposedly fixed everything. My bill for this, after discount, was a handsome J.D.2545 (Euros 2700)! I paid and went home. This was yesterday. This morning, on the way to work, the brake pedal suddenly went flat and the ABS light came on. Braking was lost for a few seconds. I was lucky I was going very slowly in a traffic jam and, as the car veered to the left, I didnt hit anyone. I slowly drove the remaining mile to my office. On the way, I lost the power in the steering for a while, then the ESP light came on. I really didnt know what was going on. They have just winched the car back to the workshop. My question is this: Is it normal for Mercedes metal teeth to wear out so badly after 125000 kilometers? I am 68 years old, have had a license for 50 years and was a car dealer myself at one point. I thought Mercedes was one the best made cars on the market and lived almost forever. I am shocked, indignant and really needing an explanation.

I purchased an E class in 2008, and got the hard sell about the extended limited warranty from the salesman, so I purchased it for more than $3,500, believing what the finance manager told me that it would be refundable, if the vehicle was sold or traded in before the extended limited warranty went into effect. In December 2010, my husband decided to trade in the vehicle, because an illness prevented me from driving it, and I requested a refund of the warranty as the vehicles factory warranty would not expire until April 2012. The dealer referred me to Mercedes Benz USA and they told me that the warranty was not refundable, as the warranty only allowed me to cancel 60 days after I bought the brand new car with a 4 year factory warranty. I kept telling them that this did not make sense and the 60 day rule for the refund would logically begin 60 days after the extended warranty went into effect. Mercedes corporate absolutely refused to budge from their position, and have pocketed my $3,500, without doing anything for my money. I have been a loyal MB customer for 20 years, and have purchased 5 vehicles in that time frame, and I find it unacceptable that the big international Mercedes corporation found it necessary to keep my money.

I was totally disappointed that GLK 250 does not have spare tire, nor run flats either. Sales person at Weber Motors in Edmonton never mentioned about this during the car walk around. During the last two weeks I got three nails and found not having a spare to be highly inconvenient. MB Canada has to make it mandatory for dealerships to inform customers about new situation with all BlueTEC vehicles. There also must be a choice for Canada to have a spare tire mounted on the rear door. Fuel economy or other concerns associated with this are not their business.

Mercedes Benz refused to repair and I had to pay over R30000 for replacing it. At 150000 km the hydraulic pump collapsed. I had to pay R9000 for a replacement. One month later, it collapsed again!! They replaced it on guarantee. One month after, same problem with the pump happened again. They replaced it and said that if it happens again, it is my problem and they will not look at it again!! Now the car has 170000 km and it does not change gears. I have to stop the car in the middle of the road to switch the engine off to reset the computer and start it again. It happened a couple of times during the day. The central locking is not working either. The suspension is making a terrible noise when I go over bumps. This is the ** car I ever had!! My wife drives a BMW, no problems at all.I wrote to Mercedes customer care services a few months ago about the problems and Im still waiting for an answer. The car is always serviced at Bedfordview dealer. What a ** dealership? Its always my mistake for the failures!! I am having a dispute with my dealers service. I had my r350 towed on a flat bed by a contracted towing service provided by Mercedes-Benz roadside assistance due to a flat tire that had recently been plugged. Luckily, the car was been driven in town at a slow speed and not at highway speeds with my children in the car!Extensive damage was caused to the under carriage and to the BlueTEC line because of this tow. I havent been with my vehicle or even an offer of a loaner vehicle, since Aug 31, 2011. Neither the dealer nor the towing company are taking any responsibility for the damage. I have finally directed the dealer to just repair the bare minimum so the vehicle may be driven. This experience has tainted my trust in Mercedes-Benz. I have every intention of disposing of both my wifes r350 BlueTEC as well as my E63 AMG. These two vehicles are my 5th and 6th purchases of Mercedes-Benz products. You can rest assured that they will be my last. If your are interested in salvaging a once loyal customer, I would be happy to discuss the details further.

As of May 24, 2016, I spoke with the General Manager, Dan **, several times this week, at the St. George, Utah, Mercedes-Benz Dealership. He was professional and promptly investigated my complaints and concerns. Dan stayed in constant communication with me. Upon completion of his investigating the facts; he determined that since his organization diagnosed the problem on my vehicle incorrectly, that he would in his words, make it right, and honor the initial estimate and make the repairs on my vehicle accordingly at no additional charge to me. He ordered the additional parts and apologized for any inconvenience this ordeal has caused me and my family. At this point, I am very satisfied with the outcome and looking forward to picking up my vehicle by Saturday. It is refreshing to me to see that good leadership does still exist in business today. As a consumer, it is very important to give the decision makers and people in positions to affect outcomes an opportunity to solve the problem. Sometimes, things are not as they appear on both sides of a disagreement. I would like to thank Dan and his Service Department Team at Mercedes-Benz of Saint George, Utah, for again making me a satisfied customer. I would recommend this organization to all potential car buyers, my friends, and family, without reservation. This dealership has impeccable integrity and will go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. Respectfully submitted, Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Pete Webster.

This is beyond dishonest and most terrible customer treatment Ive ever encountered. Called the office and spoke to Juan who was only able to get a partial credit for the service I now have to pay for the second time. How would you like paying for service twice? Also, on the phone with Mercedes customer service I was blackmailed by Juan (phone number: **) not to write my honest review about this situation or they would take away even the partial credit they just gave me that only partially covers my second charge for the same service I already paid for when I signed up for the lease! It was so unprofessional and disgusting to be blackmailed to stay away from writing this honest review that made me even more compelled to do so because I want to warn all future unsuspected new customers of how they will be treated as well. I will not be buying my future vehicles from them and so is my family. I only want to give my business to places that truly appreciate their customers and with lots of great competitors out there it will be easy to do. You dont want to be tricked, lied to, especially as a first time customer into something that will screw you later and they wont even care about it. Everyone should know before becoming a customer of theirs that they treat their customers in the worst possible manner without any care and with great amount of unprofessionalism by blackmailing them to speak the truth. Did not expect this coming from this car maker of this magnitude but be warned and stay away.

I have had two cars now of Mercedes in 2 and a half years. The first one was one of the red ones that they have known about for 4 years and still carried on spraying with this faulty paint. I had not much success with the warranty procedure to the degree that they only wanted to respray the panels affected, this happen to be everywhere apart from one side I argued for a full respray as the car was showing signs of getting worse by the week. I got so fed up that believe it or not I traded it in and got another one. This one was involved in a accident that involved the bonnet needing slight fill and respray. I was told it at to go to a Mercedes approved spray shop so of it went to Looker of Maidstone Kent where the first week it was sent back to me on a transporter. I did not let it be unloaded as it had scratches and chips in the new paint work. Back it went for another week. I was called and told it was ready for collection and when I got there the bonnet was not put on the car straight and the paint work still not good. They told me they had resprayed the whole bonnet but this was a lie as when I spoke to the guy that sprayed it, he said he only went across 3/4 of the way, they also told us they had replaced parts, they hadnt. They also managed to damage one of my alloy wheels in transport which was refurbished. I still think I should have got a new wheel as there was nothing wrong with it when it went in. After week three I got it back. I am still not happy with it as when washing it I have a circular mark on the bonnet. I sent all my correspondence to Mercedes Benz and after 5 days they have told me they are not prepared to compensate me other than the free labor only offered on my next service. They cant understand why I am unhappy and have told me that I have to go to the ombudsman. This is unreal from a so called premium branded company. Anyone that can help me get this out on the internet as they seem to think they are untouchable by the man on the street. My main bit of advice dont buy a Mercedes if you are expecting a good customer service and after care. Poor poor poor.

My thoughts about Mercedes Benz Financial and Customer Care Im completely unhappy, disenchanted and disappointed with Mercedes Benz Financial and Mercedes Benz Customer Care. To give you a timeline of events I leased a brand new AMG C 43 2019 MB on February 9th 2019 and exactly 3 days later the engine light went on and as of today February 26th the Mercedes Benz mechanics have yet been able to remove the engine light. Hence as of today my out pocket costs have been over 5,000 not including the ceramic tints I put on the new car all for nothing. At this point I have filed a grievance with Mercedes Benz Customer service and they have commenced the Buy Back Process which they say takes 24 hour period before someone can reach out to me. That was 4 days ago and still no call or email from someone from Mercedes Benz to address my concerns absolutely ridiculous. All the while all I have heard in regards to customer service is, Mr. ** you have to understand we didnt manufacturer the car, you signed a contract. Excuse me, yes I did sign a lease agreement but at this point services have not been rendered and in order to have an agreement and or contract both parties should act professionally and with high business standards and morals. Mercedes Benz USA should own this and be accountable for me being inconvenienced. It is now February 28th and still no car, and not one senior level executive has reached to me to make this right. Throughout this process the lack of responsiveness and customer service mentality as been lacking and definitely in question. Ultimately the sad part is that I still dont have a brand new car and what was supposed to be a proud day in my life has turned out to be a nightmare. E. **. Not sure at this point if I should cut my losses and to Audi. My feeling that I have lost faith in the Mercedes Benz brand. It would have been nice if a a senior executive would have had the decency to call me personally and claim ownership regarding my experience with MB Financial as well as customer care.

Happy Saturday evening. My prayer is that Mr. Stephen Cannon reads this email and as president and CEO works to resolve this problem. I own a 2006 R 350. My problems started with the suspension air parts that cause the car to look as if it has a flat tire, when it doesnt. It looks as if the tire-rods or shocks have failed. With this problem, when one goes bad and you fix it, the other automatically goes bad, so you MUST change BOTH sides. This is not a cheap repair. Actually, nothing about MB is a cheap repair. Once I had that done, the CAM shaft went bad. For this my car has been in the shop for the past 3.5 months. Now after practically rebuilding the engine, the problem is still not resolved. It cant be resolved, because all the parts were manufactured bad so when you replace one part something else goes bad. Ive found online that most if not all of the 06 and 07 R class models have had this same problem, MB is aware and have not recalled the cars. Over $6000 worth of new parts and labor, yet my car is still not fixed. These cars or at least mine should be recalled and the owners should be reimbursed for this literal pain and suffering. I have been terminated from my job and unable to get another because I dont have transportation. This was not my first MB. I have had 4, but this certainly may be my last if I cannot get any resolution to this. I have sent 2 emails. This is the 3rd to MB and was assigned a case manager. She called me 2 times. Ive called her more than 10 times. All I get is a person on the phone that says, I see that you left her a message. Is this the number where you can be reached? I say yes and that ends the call. Ok she will call you today. I attempted to reach MB via a BBB complaint, but they arent affiliated. LOST WITH A R-CLASS LEMON. Its sad that you dont acknowledge that these cars are lemons, but then again you do acknowledge, because you have discontinued the model. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.

I bought a 2018 GLE43 AMG Mercedes brand new. This was the first Mercedes and will be the last. This car was 85k and I paid cash. I figured you pay that much more you get more. Wrong! First week 640 bucks to replace a tire! Figured a fluke. Then at 19k miles all tires replaced. I refused to use Mercedes for my new tires. They don’t deserve my business! Then service B rolls around at 19,599 miles and they charge me 670.00 which on any other car other than Mercedes would be below 300 bucks. I have things just break, consoles and knobs. This is the a piece of crap. I owned a bug and Lexus and they both came thru for me and didn’t need the pampering. Heavens ... to top it off Sewell In Houston Texas, can’t even return a call. They are not what they claim. They are poorly trained. Stay away from Mercedes and Sewell. They both rip you/off.

I bought a used 2012 C300 MB from a dealer with 24,600 miles. The vehicle has 4 years 50000 miles warranty. The ac on the car stop working no cold air. I took the vehicle to MB South Orlando to repair the ac. The vehicle was involved in an accident on the left front fender and was repaired and they leave out some missing weather strip rubber when the repair was completed. The car had 29,300 miles and still under warranty when I took it to this money hungry dealer. The service technician said the warranty on the vehicle will not cover the repair due to missing parts under the hood that has nothing to do with the AC and I have to pay for 3 hours labor at $150/hr to diagnose what is the reason for no cool air.I took the vehicle to my local mechanic shop and in less than 5 minutes he found out the condenser was bad. I had him replaced it for a cost of $497.00, just a few more than the cost for a so called certified technician to find out what was wrong in the first place at the dealer. I contacted MBUSA and the fool I spoke to also resonating the same sentiments the service adviser at the dealer told me. So I said to him if I buy a car at the dealer upon driving it out to the road the car was hit that means the warranty is void? He said no, so I was very confused with this fool as well. I have 5 vehicles and all warranty job done on them I did not had to pay a penny to have the repairs done at the dealers. Both MB South Orlando and MS USA are all thieves. I told the person at MB USA the way warranty works is you take the vehicle in to a dealer, they find the problem, the warranty dept. is contacted and they pay the dealership for the repair cost. This ** about diagnostic cost is all a scam. All you MB lovers out there beware, do not buy cars from this dealership and do not buy Mercedes Benz vehicle. They are overpriced, the dealers and corporate office provides the WORST customer service ever and all you are left with is the bill to pay. In short they suck. If I had purchased a used vehicle from MBSO with warranty on it I assumed they would have fixed it. I guess they were not happy I bought the car from other dealer. This is the last MB I will ever own.

They will try to get you to change your windshield wipers and charge you several hundred dollars when you can buy online and spend 50. I dont know if the upkeep price of the little things that go wrong are worth the hassle and cost. You really need someone who is Mercedes certified to work on your car. I brought mine into a shop to get an alignment and they couldnt do it so I will have to bring to the dealership.

Good afternoon. I am a Mercedes C300 owner and recently I have had some problems with my car not starting...I took it to the RBM Mercedes in Alpharetta, Georgia for diagnostic review. The diagnostic presented with a problem within the steering column which caused the vehicle to not respond. I in turn looked up info on this problem and have noticed this to be an ongoing and unaddressed issue with the make and model years 2008-2009.My question to you, upon communicating my concerns to the service center who currently has my car for repair, is, what are you doing to rectify this problem and since it is an ongoing concern why has a recall not been done on this or why are customers being charged upwards of 1500.00 USD to have these repairs completed. I for one know the cost of repairs for a car in this category of cars, but I do not feel it appropriate that because an issue within the manufacturing of this vehicle is a cause for repair should I have to pay to have an identified manufactured deficiency repaired. I am very disappointed that this has occurred a number of times and nothing has been done to rectify the expenses incurred in this matter.

We purchased a Mercedes E350 in 2012. We already replaced 3 tires. Each one costs us $350. We owned more than 20 different cars in our family for all these years and none had this problem. After some web search, we found out the Low Profile Tire which are used on Mercedes E350, will not survive a deep pothole or a curb touch. That is why they have so-called Tire and Wheel insurance. When we purchased the car (new), the sales person did ask us (casually) whether we want to purchase this insurance. He did not bother to explain the significance of the problem. Now they said since we turned it down, they cannot do anything about it. Also there is no way that one can replace the Low Profile Tires with the Regular Tires. We are stuck with this problem. NJ is known to have many potholes on the streets.

My 1987 Mercedes 300e is great. Old, but drives great. I have had a few things break down but that is due to the age of the car. I like it because it is a solid and not cheap car. I can always rely on it if I need to go somewhere. I like the anti-theft system and automatic everything. It has a moonroof which I really enjoy in the evenings when it is hot out. That way I can look up at the stars. It has a great stereo and the air conditioning is wonderful too. However, I would get some bodywork done on the front end and get a new paint job and maybe even get an upgrade on my stereo system. But it is sturdy.

I purchased a 2015 S Class Sedan on Nov 11, 2016 with 18,500 miles on it. A week later I started to notice the transmission downshifted hard from 5th to 4th. My car has been in the shop going on 14 days and this is after having it looked at once already. I am told today, that updating the software did not work which it took Mercedes 13 days to tell me that after already doing it over a month ago the first time. So, it appears it is a guessing game now, they say it may be the valve body or it could be this etc... nevertheless, it is in disrepair. I am currently driving a C300 loaner and while I am appreciative of the loaner, I did not buy a C300. I am making the payment for the S Class. The worst part is, they cannot tell me when they will have my car back to me.

Ive had to have 2 tires replaced due to bubble issues in my Mercedes C-300. Although I thought my experience was unique, today (June 15, 2015) when I went to get my car oil changed it appears I wasnt the only one with this issue. Two other customers at the Mercedes service desk had exactly the same issues. Imagine my surprise! At $275 a tire all of us were pretty twisted that this issue is going on and Mercedes has NOT issued a recall on this brand tire! Can someone help stop this unsafe issue? Does someone have to get hurt first? How many more people are in the same boat? Can someone canvas the service logs at Mercedes and see how bad this issue really is? Lastly based on the young attendant behind the desk she said, weve had tons of people with flat tires. She also stated, dont worry we have truckloads of tires in inventory. How scary! What would you assume? Someone please advise, how do we proceed?

NEW ML 350 Bluetec - You will never get the fuel consumption indicated by the on-board computer. It consistently understates consumption by more than 1 litre/100 km (or 11.4%) - this had been verified by MBSA. This software problem, as well as the stop/start function that only works 50% of the time, had been reported nearly 2 years ago to them via the respective dealers. 6 Months ago they confirmed that a software patch will be developed to fix the wrong calculation. After numerous follow-up emails, Allis feedback is now that their R&D advice that the current calculation of average fuel consumption is within the design tolerances of the ML... What a big tolerance for a product range costing nearly R1m and claimed to be the Best or Nothing. I have to accept that the ad hoc working of the stop/start function is also within the design tolerance of the ML.

This is an update. I called Fletcher Jones Mercedes Newport Beach today, January 17, 2012, because our 2011 E350 car stereo still does not work properly after having it in for an extended diagnostic evaluation from January 10, 2012 to January 14, 2012. They did finally watched and listened to the 5 YouTube videos that we filmed documenting the problem with the factory installed stereo. However, the service department is again denying that there is anything wrong with the stereo in our car.It was the second visit to Fletcher Jones for the same problem in two months and the sixth total visit in 8 months to a Mercedes dealership attempting to get warranty repair on the stereo speaker wiring. At one point today, we were hopeful that maybe the Fletcher Jones service department would actually do something about our issue when one of the Fletcher Jones employees, who had seen the videos, stated to us that she agrees that the audio is certainly clear enough to be able to hear the speakers are cutting in and out. However, it sounds as if her understanding of Mercedes corporate policy is that the Mercedes service technicians have to hear it themselves live in person as it is happening for Mercedes HQ to accept it as proof and allow the warranty repair. Our 5 videos are audio and visual proof. However, the service technicians continue to deny being able to hear the problem despite having our car at Mercedes dealers six times for the exactly the same problem that they say does not exist.Mercedes Benz warranties dont seem to be worth the paper they are printed on and it appears as if Fletcher Jones Mercedes Newport Beach only cares about selling more new cars. They are not at all concerned about service department issues.

I was informed that it needs a new turbo and a water pump, $4700, and there “might” be engine damage. Both have been replaced and the check engine light is now on and the car has been in the shop for two weeks. The mechanic does not seem to know what’s going on or when I will get my car back. With under 40,000 at the initial start of the check engine light coming on which no one else besides MB has ever serviced, I had to get the balance shaft replaced in the motor at my total expense. From reading reviews and information from this page and other pages they said it was best to take the car back to the dealer for this type of job. I tried other Mercedes dealerships in Cleveland: North Olmsted gave me a phone estimate of $10,000, Mercedes-Benz of Willoughby Leikin said they were too small to handle such a big job so I ended up taking the car back to Mercedes Benz of Bedford where I originally purchase it for a mere$7,036.51. I associate this cost with me being **, female, prior neg. post and phone calls. This was the worse purchase I have ever made in my life and I would NEVER buy another Mercedes. They do not stand behind their merchandise. I think they tossed a coin to see who was going to service me (after corporate calls, because Bedford where I originally purchased the car new, never called me back). My conclusion: once the car is out of warranty they really dont want your business, unless its to trade the car in on a new one and they resell your old one for a mint. I know people are in business to make money but when your product falls short of what it claims to be I feel you are obligated to provide some type of relief. Word of mouth is the best advertisement you can get. When the words of many mouths is a negative experience in the end you lose. By the way Mercedes USA was a waste of my time. They did absolutely nothing.

This is a complaint against Mercedes Benz Croydon. Yesterday (24th Jan 2012), my car registration number ** Mercedes C220 was booked for a full service, and an MOT. It was agreed that the car would be picked up from my home in Bromley, and delivered back the same day. The car was picked up on time in the morning. I got a call from Clive ** at about 16:00 H from Mercedes Benz of Croydon, that the car is about to be finished and dropped back, and would I please pay the required amount. I was with a patient at the time (as I am doctor and was consulting), and told him I will ring back as soon as I finished. I rang back a few minutes later, and was told the car would be dropped off, but they were having some driver troubles. We agreed that since I needed the car for work the next morning, and would leave for work the next day before 09:00H the car could be delivered before nine the next day. Clive said he would do his best to get the car delivered today. He also mentioned that the passenger side wheel arch cover was missing, and I asked him if that could be replaced. He said it could, and the cost of that was added to the bill, which was paid by credit card. Later on, I got a voice mail on my phone from Clive that the car would be delivered before 09:00H tomorrow. The next morning (today, the 25th of January 2012), I rang Clive at around 09:00H to ask where the car was, as it was nearly 09:00H. He said the driver left at 08:20H, and should have been there by now. He promised to ring me back. I rang him at 09:10H or so, to say the car is still not here, and my medical clinic will be starting and my patients will be waiting. He said he would try to get in touch with the driver. Nothing happened, and it was now 09:26H. I rang again, and this time he said he is just around the corner, and should be there in a couple of minutes. I asked him how he knew, he said he had spoken to other drivers, and they said he was in the area as they had spoken to him. I was getting desperate. At 09:32H or so, I rang Mercedes Benz, and asked to be put to customer services or the general manager, in order to lodge a complaint. The lady said none of the sales managers is free, and no one can take my complaint. However, if I would leave my name and number, someone would ring me back as soon as they were free. No one rang back as of today. The driver eventually turned up at 09:37H. He said sorry, the traffic was bad. I asked him what time did he leave, and he said 08.50H (whereas Clive repeatedly assured that the driver left at 08:20H). I dont believe the driver either, for if he had left at 08:50H, he should have been at my place at 09:20H at the latest (or 09.30 if traffic was very heavy). I was dismayed that no one from Mercedes Benz rang back to apologize, and to check if everything was okay. No one was bothered that a number of my patients had to wait, and then had to leave without seeing their doctor. On top of that, even though I had been charged, the wheel arch cover had not been fitted (as the bumper was a bit warped). No credit note had been issued. I discovered the arch was not fitted only late this evening. I strongly feel that Mercedes Benz Croydon were not truthful when they dealt with me. Are they truthful when they say they serviced the car properly? I strongly feel that Mercedes Benz treated me extremely shoddily. I request that a full investigation be made why this happened, and how can I overcome my reluctance to deal with this same crowd again? My service book was not stamped (it was in the car on the inside leg area of the front passenger seat of the car). I can understand if it was overlooked. I feel reluctant to go to the branch to ask them to stamp it, because they appear to be an untrustworthy lot. I request some compensation be made for the aggravation suffered by me, due to this unfortunate incident.

And when I call Mercedes Customer Service they told me as long as it charges at home thats all they care about. The Charge Point stations is not their concern. I used to own a VW eGolf and I charged it at work for last 3 years without any issues. My primary reason for choosing the Mercedes C350e model was to receive the HOV lane sticker for it, Mercedes Pleasanton dealer told me they take care of DMV forms for it - this was great to hear. Exactly 2 months after the purchase of my car, I heard back from DMV that Mercedes has sent outdated form for the HOV lane sticker. Now I have lost 2 months time due to inefficient people working at the dealership!! The clock starts again now! Mercedes has an App for iPhone which can help with many functionalities of the car - called Mbrace. I wasnt able to link my car to my account for several days. Mercedes and Mbrace customer service kept blaming each other for the issues with the App - finally it got resolved when I had to take them on a conference call.In general I have noticed that Mercedes has silos within their customer service department - instead of providing solutions to customers they provide the GO-TO info and their phone numbers to me. This is very frustrating and I did not experience it with my other cars - VW, BMW, Toyota, Honda etc. Overall its my first time owning a Mercedes and so far I am yet to receive 1 satisfying answer from their customer service department. I wish there was a way to return this car!! Do I have any options?

This cars performance and comfort of my 2017 c- class sedan is perfect for long trips. The dealership has been very informative and I am very pleased with having purchased a prepaid service plan since this is saving me money on increased costs of parts due to supply chain problems.

Do not buy a Mercedes!!! I’ve owned them since 1990, in the past I’ve really loved these cars. I got great service from them and was always treated like a king by the dealer and Mercedes Benz Corp. I have been dealing with an issue since Nov 2017 with my S-Class. The dealer can’t seem to fix the issue and MBUSA is protecting the dealer. I will never buy another Mercedes. There are so many premium brands out there. Why would you want to spend money for poor treatment.
