The Q8 balances practicality and prestige, making it equally suited for family life, executive transport, and weekend adventures.

Design & Exterior Identity

The 2026 Q8 immediately communicates confidence and premium character through its design.

Bold proportions: A wide stance, muscular shoulders, and strong character lines create a powerful yet elegant silhouette.

Audi’s signature grille: A large, distinctive front grille gives the Q8 an unmistakable presence.

Modern lighting: Sleek headlight and taillight styling enhances both function and visual statement.

Coupe-like roofline: While still offering SUV utility, the Q8’s roofline adds a touch of sportiness and upscale design flair.

The exterior design combines athletic cues with a luxurious profile, reflecting both capability and upscale intention.

Powertrain & Performance

The 2026 Q8 delivers performance calibrated for both comfort and authority:

Turbocharged engines: Potent powerplants provide strong acceleration and stable power delivery across speed ranges.

Automatic transmission: A refined automatic gearbox delivers seamless shifts and contributes to overall composure.

Available all-wheel drive: Audi’s quattro system enhances traction and confidence in a variety of driving conditions.

Driving balance: The Q8 emphasizes smooth, assured performance rather than aggressive sportiness, making it suitable for daily driving, highway cruising, and long-distance travel.

Together, these elements create a driving experience that blends strength with refinement.

Driving Dynamics & Handling

Despite its size, the Q8 maintains composed dynamics:

Steering: Precise steering offers confident control and responsiveness.

Suspension tuning: A suspension system adjusted for balanced comfort and handling keeps the ride refined over varied surfaces.

Stability: The SUV feels composed at highway speeds and while navigating curves, thanks to careful tuning and weight distribution.

All-weather confidence: Quattro all-wheel drive contributes to secure handling in rain, snow, or rough surface conditions.

The Q8 feels assured and poised, offering a refined ride that doesn’t compromise confidence.

Interior Comfort & Space

Inside, the 2026 Audi Q8 delivers a spacious and luxurious cabin environment:

Seating: Five-seat layout with generous space for both front and rear passengers; optional configurations may enhance flexibility and comfort.

Premium materials: High-grade upholstery, soft-touch surfaces, and refined trim materials reinforce a luxury ambience.

Comfort features: Available heated and ventilated seats, multi-zone climate control, and advanced comfort options enhance passenger experience.

Cargo space: Ample cargo capacity with easy-access rear storage and flexible options when rear seats are folded.

The interior combines comfort, space, and quality for both driver and passengers.

Technology & Connectivity

The Q8’s technology suite supports modern expectations for connectivity and convenience:

Digital driver display: A fully digital instrument panel provides configurable information such as speed, navigation, and vehicle status.

Infotainment systems: Central touchscreen interfaces integrate navigation, media, vehicle settings, and provide a responsive user experience.

Smartphone integration: Wireless connectivity enables seamless access to apps, communications, and navigation.

Premium audio: Available high-end sound systems enhance the cabin experience for music and media.

Technology is presented in a user-friendly layout that supports both driver engagement and passenger enjoyment.

Safety & Driver Assistance

The 2026 Audi Q8 includes a suite of safety and driver assistance systems for confidence and convenience:

Adaptive cruise control: Assists with maintaining speed and distance on highways, reducing driver workload.

Lane-keeping systems: Helps maintain position on long journeys with minimal driver effort.

Automatic braking: Provides mitigation support in sudden stop scenarios.

Blind-spot and cross-traffic monitoring: Enhances awareness in traffic and parking situations.

These systems are designed to enhance safety without feeling intrusive.

Strengths of the 2026 Audi Q8

Premium SUV presence: Bold design and upscale intentions make a strong visual and experiential statement.

Balanced performance: Potent engines and composed dynamics provide confidence and refinement.

Spacious, luxurious interior: Comfort and quality materials create an inviting cabin for all occupants.

Advanced technology: Digital interfaces and connectivity support convenience and modern expectations.

All-weather capability: Available all-wheel drive enhances confidence across driving conditions.

Trade-offs & Considerations

Size matters: The Q8’s larger footprint may feel less maneuverable in tight urban environments compared with smaller SUVs.

Fuel economy: Strong performance and luxury mass mean fuel usage is competitive for its class but not economy-focused.

Premium ownership costs: As a luxury flagship SUV, ownership costs — including insurance and maintenance — are higher than mainstream alternatives.

Cargo and third row: The focus on five-seat comfort may limit rear passenger or cargo flexibility compared with some larger three-row SUVs.

Who the 2026 Audi Q8 Is Best For

The 2026 Audi Q8 is ideal for buyers who:

Want a premium full-size SUV with bold design and strong presence.

Value refined performance and composed handling over outright sportiness.

Appreciate luxurious interior comfort and advanced technology.

Need spacious seating and usability for daily driving and longer travel.

Prefer all-weather confidence with available all-wheel drive.

Bottom Line

The 2026 Audi Q8 delivers a compelling blend of luxury, comfort, performance, and practicality in a full-size SUV package. Its refined powertrain options, spacious and high-quality interior, and advanced technology make it a strong choice for buyers who want premium presence and everyday usability without stepping into larger, more unwieldy SUV territory. For those seeking a luxury SUV with both performance and poise, the Q8 offers a balanced and sophisticated experience.

Audi has build the Q7 2007 with the wrong gaskets around the moon roof. If you check the blogs they admit it but wont pay for the damage. It drains into the SUV and burns out the electric system. Gone are your MMI etc. It starts shorting your radio, tail light bulbs, and can burn out your battery. You will also lose your total dash. They want you to pay at least 1/2 so they have no cost. This should be a worldwide recall. What will happen when your electric goes out while driving. If you are starting to replace tail light bulbs. Its just the beginning. You can also see water marks on the front floor. Join in the fight for what is fair.

I got my Q3 brand spankin new and for the first 2 years it was excellent. Now in my 3rd year, Ive had my vehicle serviced twice for rear-view camera malfunctions. Now, my vehicle wont turn on. Im stranded. I have what I suspect to be some sort of major computer malfunction because despite my turning the vehicle off, the radio turns on by itself and is what I suspect to be the reason why my battery has drained (and no, I never got the battery service light prior to this incident, in fact, I didnt get any service indicator lights). Once I miraculously got it started, the speedometer and computer mph reading defer by 25 mph - at a red light the computer reads Im going 25 mph. I also get the occasional TPMS on my dash and my tires are fine. This wouldve cost me a fortune if my vehicle werent still under warranty. Its only 3 years and 8 months old and has less than 42000 miles.

Our family purchased a 2011 Audi A5 with 2.0 T engine. The Timing Chain (Tensioner) failed at 70,000 m. The engine head and pistons (predictably) are wrecked. The car was maintained according to the Audi schedule with the Dealer from whom we purchased the car. All the records are verified by the dealer. The standard warranty is 50,000 m. This engine/car has the Oil Consumption problem that precipitated the Class Action Suit. So, the car was used as designed, maintained as designed, - and it FAILED as designed! The failure is due to lack of lubrication of the Timing tensioner/chain. Something absolutely beyond the consumers control (beyond filling the engine as specified).4/5/15: The car is at the Dealership in Austin Texas - the Dealership says they have talked to Audi and both are trying to escape the manufacturers responsibility to fix the problem. It seems that the only (implied warranty) service to the customer that Audi will deliver is when threatened by a lawsuit (class action suit as prev). In summary: The engine was maintained as required; the car was used as designed; the consumer fulfilled all their responsibilities; the engine (built by a prior-respected engineering company) failed - beyond all control of the consumer within a small portion of the design life of the engine. How is it not Audis responsibility? Get decent Audi! Before another Class action suit gets kicked off.

I ended up removing my car from the Audi in Orland Park, IL and taking it to another Audi location. The new robot technology was used to diagnose the cause of engine failure. I provided Audi with receipts where all the maintenance was completed in accordance to their recommendations. They forwarded all document to Audi headquarters. After a few day Audi accepted responsibility for my engine failure and they will be repairing it. Thanks Audi for your honesty.

This brand has a fairly wide variety of models. Including Audi A3 Sedan, Audi Q3, Audi A4, Audi A3 Cabriolet and many more exclusive and family cars. The variety of models range from sedan to cabriolet. I had the Audi A3 Cabriolet, it was a beautiful cobalt blue. It had a nice range of features. Mine was a standard wheel drive. The stereo was very nice as well. You can option this beautiful car out to your hearts content. You can add a turbo, choose your color, change stock stereo set and much more. The capacity in my car was good. However, I would imagine a sedan being much more spacious and better for family than my cabriolet. My cabriolet had enough room for myself and my school supplies, however.

My 2012 Audi A6 has intermittent side folding mirror problems - does not fold out and I sometimes do not realize until I am going 55 MPH down the freeway and need to switch lanes. I have taken it to TYSONS AUDI who is really Penske Automotive and they cannot duplicate the problem even though I have brought it to them in the failed state. Their service manager says we cant just fix it because AUDI will not pay us back LOL -- Shame on them. Would not recommend AUDI TYSONS at all.

I had the Audi A8 and was great but the differential is a little stiff. Handling could be better, especially on corners. Engines new power is perfect and the style of car is great. Vision wise is perfect, really no blind spot. Its a great looking sedan (shape wise) and interior is awesome and colorful. Seating is also great. It holds 5 people comfortable (3-back 2- front). Its very roomy if a taller person is in it. Roof of car or height of it is perfect too. Arm rest is very helpful and the ac vent in front and back are on par. The different upgrades in interior is a must and comes in handy on the color car you want. Safety is tip top. Fast stopping with disc brakes is on a dime and the power of the engine is always there if needed. The sport one is even more beautiful and more power, if youre looking for that go getter, but the A8 will not disappoint you. Audi came a long way from what it was before. It could be better but it is on the uprise and will keep rising. Just an all around perfect car.

2004 Audi TT - The heat wave we experienced this past summer caused my rear window to separate from the convertible top. I have attempted numerous ways of repairing it. All have failed. Audis solution is an entire new top at $4600. Corporate became involved and Commonwealth Audi offered a 20% discount, which is still not affordable. Mercury Insurance refused to pay for it stating this is normal wear and tear! The car was stored in a garage and the top was used maybe 10 times in a 3 year span. The car cost $28,0000 which was paid in full and is 10 years old. I expected the quality of an Audi to outlast much longer than this. I am now driving it around with a playground ball holding it in place. Most recently its running on hot now and will need repair. It has been one thing after another and I am extremely unhappy with this car and the responses I have received from both my insurance company and Audi.

I purchased a brand new 2010 A6 2.0 T in Oct. 2009. I have had the car since then and encountered some odd problems in the past 3 to 6 months. Initially, the car used to burn the engine oil faster than usual since I would have to top up the oil level almost every month, which I found really weird. A few months ago, the car started to basically shake when I would barely be driving at 80 km per hour. Upon taking the car to the service, I was informed that the solution would be to change the engine! After the engine was changed, the car was running OK until last week when I was driving. The steering wheel locked up and then the alternator fault light came on and it said battery not charged on the dashboard. I could have gotten into a terrible car accident and my life was put at risk but I was barely able to maneuver the car just in time to get it off the road. I am a very dissatisfied customer from Audi.

Overall, my husband and I have been very satisfied with the Audi vehicles weve purchased or leased since 2016. Weve owned/leased a 2017 A4, 2017 Q5, 2018 SQ5 and 2018 Q5. Unfortunately, what is very disappointing is Audis lack of customer support or loyalty. A few months ago, my husband unexpectedly passed away leaving me with two leased Audis. Understanding that we did enter into leases with strict lease conditions on these two cars, given my personal situation and that my husband and I had a good history with Audi, I still wanted to see if Audi could help me in any way as I couldnt keep 2 leased vehicles under the present circumstances. I had heard that some car companies are very helpful when a lease holder becomes deceased. Ends up Audi is not one of those car companies and they were of absolutely no help. The dealer told me they couldnt do anything and to talk to Audi Financial as they owned the leases. Audi Financial told me I could turn in one of the cars but Id still have to make the payments and that I should go back and talk to the dealer to see if they would purchase the car back. Long story short, I ended up buying out one of the cars and selling it through a car broker (at a loss but at least I no longer have to make the car payments), and will continue to lease the other car until the lease expires. At that time I will purchase something different as I am very disappointed in Audis lack of customer support or loyalty.

A few weeks after I was sold a car from TNT Auto Sales in Lugoff, I started having issues with the car. The car was not holding water and would overheat numerous times throughout the day. I took it back to the dealer to have it checked and I was told to wait and they couldnt do anything. I was told not to leave the car on the lot as well so I had to keep driving it. I called, texted, and went to the dealer almost everyday or every other day about the car. Nothing was done and finally the car broke down on me and will not crank or anything anymore. I told the dealer what happened. Nothing was still done. I didnt even get to make my second car payment before the car broke down on me. Now, I am stuck with a car that I just purchased that is not drivable and a car payment still. I dont want this lemon of a car to go on my credit but I should not have to settle for this when I just got the car and the dealer decides he doesnt want to do anything about this.

The vehicles have the iconic waterfall grill and rings in the front and come in a variety of models and have distinct option packages, a variety of colors and personalization options that allows for unique looks. The vehicles are roomy enough for their intended purpose, but not so large as to seem huge. The design is very European where the driver is the most focused.

After owning Mercedes for 30 years, I bought an Audi in 2012. Big mistake. As much as I enjoyed my TDI, it was not possible buy another; Audi keeps changing their design for the worse; and my experience with the sales staff at two dealerships was enough to make me realize they do not care about customer loyalty. All they want to do is move existing inventory as fast as possible.

Car has 20k miles. It has had key fob unrecognized, have to walk away, come back, it works. Ive had engine shut off on highway due to overheating (thank God I was next to the shoulder lane). My check brake light indicator comes, lights up on the dash, brake lights however work fine. Dealer so far has added antifreeze (it wasnt low to begin with - just above min) cant find problem with light, would have to tear car down. Then I was rear ended at stop light, 8k in repair done by Audi, car now vibrates. Took it to sunny side Audi bodyshop, they sent me to Sunnyside Audi dealer in middleburg OH, (place of purchase/service) and they try to sell me tires and balance after saying nothing wrong with car alignment. Cant guarantee me that it will fix the problem. I did NOT have a vibration problem before being rear ended.I called Audi America, they sent me back to dealer to try to work something out. My tires have PLENTY of tread left as I used winter tires for at least 8k miles of the 20k. Just a horrible experience with the car, with the service, with the repair work of Audi manufacturing, sunny side Audi service, sunny side Audi collision center. Ive owned Honda, Toyota, Ford and Acura, not had any problems. Acura replaced a 600.00 part under warranty. It failed 2 years later after extended warranty expired and they fixed it again, free of charge under good faith. Audi should learn from this. Im going back to Acura. Im not unreasonable. I offered to pay for tires if indeed it takes care of problem. If it doesnt they should. As I said it 100% did not shake/vibrate before accident. The other electrical issues I just deal with until lease end.

I bought this car new in 2007 - A6. Today 80,000 miles basically 10,000 miles year, always took care of it like diamond service in time never speed, during this last 8 years I tried always find the best in the car and ignore the worst like when you love something you look only qualities. But the true is this car sucks. Today was raining. I went for lunch and for my surprise when I open the door a lake inside my car. Thats it - taking this to a Mercedes dealership. Get any money I can for it and moving to a Mercedes or something else. Audi is full of marketing but far from perfection. A car that can hold the rain is not a car.

I have always believed in the Audi brand - the prestige of a German enginee
I have always believed in the Audi brand - the prestige of a German engineered vehicle was something I aspired to drive. Two years ago, my mother bought a new 2012 Q5. This was when I set my mind to buying my own Audi. A little over a year ago, I bought my first vehicle, a used 2010 A4. I could not have been more thrilled, and always offered to drive friends and family around, just to show off my new ride. From the moment I purchased my A4, all I could think about was buying the next Gen version or even the new A3 that I ogled over at the Detroit Auto Show. Unfortunately my perspective on the quality of an Audi built vehicle has changed entirely. My complaint is with Audi, not the dealership. My car has less than 100,000 miles on it and has a MAJOR engine failure outside of recall/warranty. For a car to need a camshaft and 2 cylinders replaced at 4 years old (amounting to $5,500-$9,000 in repairs) signals a defective engine, not bad luck. The car has never missed a service appointment. The entire situation is completely ridiculous.I will never purchase or do business with Audi again. The level of interest shown in my personal well-being and overall desire to do the right thing is mind-boggling, and I have never in my life seen such apathy from a company towards a customer with a major mechanical failure outside of their control. I had planned for this to be my first Audi. After this debacle it is definitely my last.

I initially bought an Audi because of their quality and excellent engineering. However, I dont believe I will ever purchase another automobile from this manufacturer again. At 60000 miles my MMI system experienced a complete failure. The Navigation display would not come up, the radio wouldnt work, the navigation system completely failed. I took the car to the dealer here in Denver and was told the 5F MMI component would have to be replaced. Cost of the part $2200, $400 for labor. To say the least this is outrageous. Needless to say I am done with Audi, they are obviously not the reliable luxury cars I thought they were. Save your money! Dont patronize.

I bought a A4 Quattro, manual transmission, new in January of 2012 from Hiley Audi in Huntsville, Alabama. The vehicle has had the water pump and one injector replaced under warranty and the PCV valve, various modules and gaskets O rings and other items replaced at my expense as well as the shocks that were leaking more oil than the EXXON Valdez. All of this occurred after the car was barely out of warranty. The service department has actually been quite good at diagnosing the problems associated with the vehicle however the expense of having those issues rectified is prohibitive. Now with a little over 100k miles on the car, its burning a quart of oil every 600 miles. No one at Audi notified me about the class action suit on these engines for excessive oil consumption however they did notify me of the extended warranty on the cam chain tensioner which after requesting the replacement they refused to repair even while the car was still under warranty! In short, Im stuck with $6K repair bill for replacing this dog of an engine. The people that work at Audi can only be as good as the management team and in short, the management team at Hiley as well as Audi of America are terrible. On a side note, I have an ACURA RSX that I bought new in 2003 with 200k miles on the odometer that doesnt use a drop of oil and a 1997 BMW 318is with a 168K on the clock that doesnt use any oil either. Basically Audi sells cars that are throwaways after 100,000 miles. In short, if you expect Hiley or Audi of America to stand behind their products, you will be sorely disappointed.

I took my 2016 Red Audi A4 to Audi of South Atlanta in Union City Georgia on 12/12/2018 in the afternoon hours. I took it for the after coolant pump recall and to get a diagnostic as to why my reverse camera would intermittently work. I got there, dropped off the car, signed for my loaner car & acknowledged the 149$ diagnostic fee. Upon taking the trunk apart they came upon my wiring harness underneath the deck lid had been cut and taped back together possibly by a previous body shop that repaired the car after an accident back in 2016 when I got the car new. They were saying that over the course of two years and the wires being held back together by tape that they became loose. We then got State Farm involved and did a 3 way call with the dealership and they agreed to do another tear down at the cost of State Farm, as I had requested them not do any repair work as I would take it up with the previous body shop. But State Farm wanted to send an adjuster out to get an estimate of the damage. Hear nothing until 12-26-2018 When I got an email about the findings and if I wanted to do the repairs or not, and I did NOT respond to the email I instead asked Tim ** the service adviser why I was receiving the email and if it was just automated because the last communication I had during the 3 way call was that State Farm was paying for the repairs not me that I never wanted the work done if I was going to be responsible for the bill. He text me and said “Let me verify with State Farm that they are bringing a check by today or tomorrow”. 12-27-2018 I hear from Tim ** that State Farm is denying the repair and that the repair has already been completed because they sent him over the document containing the estimate he took that as approval for repairs is what he told me. I asked to see said document because I was not in any communication about the repair being done until after the fact. He texts on the same date how pissed he is because the State Farm claims adjuster would not allow him to speak to his supervisor and ask if I would call them the next day and allow a 3 way call with the supervisor of said claims agent “Carter”. Over the next business day when Tim ** realized that State Farm was not going to pay for repairs as they did not and have no right to do approve repairs to my car only I can approve said repairs and I NEVER approved ANY repairs!! So they start looking at me for the money, first telling me the cost of the repair telling me & the advisor at Audi of America that I need to pay it and go after my insurance company for reimbursement. Then when they realize I am not about to pay almost 2k for this repair they then tell me they could charge me the 725$ for the rental car which my agreement was for a “Loaner” car… A few days going back and forth with my local agent, this dealer, and the sheriffs department they then agree to release the car for a lowered amount of $500 and they put my broken part back in and keep their new part. I declined once again as the only thing I approved was a $149 diagnostic fee. I then call Audi Financial who I have the vehicle financed with and told them the story and they really weren’t much help. So after being threatened with the cost of the loaner Audi I decided to return it and get a few things out of my car since it was clear they were going to have it for quite some time. When they finally bring my car around for me to retrieve property out of they had in my front seat my LICENSE PLATE to take with me… talk about taking possession of something I have paid 27k for to this day… WOW! Then I start looking into legal options and possibly even just letting Audi reposes the vehicle as it was going on 3 weeks and no one wanted to help me when this dealer was Clearly STEALING MY CAR!!! I let it go for a week or two this new year as I was stressing way too much. Today on 01-21-2019 I call and speak with service manager Allen, I was being nice considering this dealer has done nothing but rob me for 4 weeks as I’m paying a car payment and insurance on a car they have. I ask if they would consider $350 instead of $500 like they had offered a few weeks back to just put this all behind us since they were in the wrong for doing repairs I never approved and he said no that is not what he and the service advisor offered me and that to take the car off the lot it would be the full $500. I said, Okay if you all want to continue being crooks I will find a way to get my car and he interrupts me and says that they are not crooks and if that is how I felt that I can pay the full invoice price and to not come up there to get the vehicle until I have all the money including the loaner car and hangs up!!! I bought a 2009 A4 2.0T Quattro and it was a problem from day 1. The car was consuming so much oil! At its worst it was doing 1ltr every 120km. When I took it to the Audi service shop, they blatantly lied to me after doing a service and check, and said nothing was wrong and perhaps I should buy a new sensor. I kept going back and kept getting the same spiel. Anyways the car engine has died and they are quoting me 10k to rebuild the motor. I told Audi Australia that I have done my research and am aware of the recalls, and class action lawsuit against them for the flawed motor but they are still refusing to do anything about it. Im left with a useless car, back on the bus and frustrated! Does anyone else have any ideas or helpful suggestions where to go from here??

My prepaid lease on my 2017 Audi A8L was expiring. I did not receive any communication from Audi Financial that I was welcome to lease another Audi. All that I received were emails and phone calls from Audis contractor wanting to inspect my vehicle before the lease expired. When I called my otherwise good local dealer for help/advice, I was told to call Audi Financial. There is no communication between Audi Financial and the dealer. I called Audi Financial about purchasing the A8L, and was promised a mailed package that I could complete. I never received the package. It became obvious that Audi did not want to take the effort to keep me as a customer. I sold the car to Carmax for a small profit, and bought a BMW 7 series. I will not buy another Audi.

This is an Australian review of a sale conducted in Australia and this matter is due to be hear at a tribunal hearing later this month, but thought I would share my experience as l am sure, well l am certain it happens by default to many others. Purchased the 2013 Q5, fully optioned for around $90K AUD, as a tempter to buy from this dealer, they gave me the Audi Corporate Package - (3 years free service and invitations to corporate events, race days, family days etc.). Noticed in the first 3 months when I went out on long drives, the Sat Nav was giving out inaccurate road directions, wrong time estimates for arrival, in some cases up to 2 - 3 hours difference. On a highway that a bypass built some 4 years ago, when I was on that bypass, it didn’t exist on my maps, according to the Sat Nav on was driving on farmland, but clearly I wasn’t - it was obvious the Sat Nav had software that was many years old. When I went to book my first service - I was told that the first service was going to cost me $1000 (this was some 9 months after I purchased the car), I said NO I get free servicing for 3 years, he said NO, I can’t see anything, so you have to pay, so I showed him my Audi corporate card and then he says, oh yes okay, it’s free. I tell him that the Sat Nav needs an upgrade because it’s so old - he says, that will cost $800 - I tell him the car is brand new when I purchased it - in fact it wasn’t even on the lot, l was waiting for it to arrive from Germany, that’s how new the car was - he said, it’s a spare part and so you have to pay $800.I speak to the sales guy who sold me the car - he sympathizes, says he will see what he can do, but invariably the expectation is the consumer needs to pay - I never hear back from him. I call the General Manager of the dealer and he bluntly states, it’s a part you have to pay for it - that they sold the car as is from the manufacturer. So I call Audi Australia and they say it has nothing to do with them, that the sale was between myself and the dealer and I have to take it back there.I call Australian consumer affairs, they send out an officer and he negotiates a compromise that I pay 50% of the retail price of the upgrade - I refuse. Matter is before a tribunal hearing later this month. I call Audi Australia and say in 11 months, I have never been invited to any Audi event, any family day, race day, corporate function, yet it was part of the purchase price of the car and influenced where the car was purchased from. Audi Australia calls back - oh yes we see we didn’t do that, well we will make you a priority for the next event. To this day, priority has not equated to definite, nor have I been told what event, or when it’s at - nor by virtue of the fact that I hold a valid corporate Audi pack, that I should be invited to attend that event anyway so nothing was been offer to compensation the last 11 months - so now the hearing will be on 2 counts. I am told by Audi, that Audi upgrade their software on the Sat Nav every 4 years and I purchased my car on the 24th of December 2013, and the global upgrade happened on the 14th of Jan 2014, so it was just bad luck for me.One of the many claims is that a product was sold that was not fit for purpose and the selling a car as is, doesn’t apply to a new car, it needs to be fit for purpose and the reasonable intention of purpose. I would never of thought a company like Audi would conduct itself in the manner above, I am quite appalled and hence the litigation - this issues themselves aren’t big issues, but the conduct of both the dealer and the corporate company are appalling and rely on the fact that over here, people may think it’s too expensive or not worth the time to take them on - well game on Audi! Having said that, the Q5 is a fantastic car, one of the best I have ever had, but will never buy another one again!

My family has owned 6 VWs and Audis. The A4s were flawless, and the Tiguans worked well. The 2010 Q5 had mechanical and component issues and the new 2014 Q5 is getting gas mileage 10-20% below EPA sticker. Our overall mileage average is 10% below the city EPA value even though we live in the suburbs of Boston, and rarely drive into the city. I believe it is costing me $300-400 more per year in fuel. Audi says the car is operating within specification but I know what my mileage reading are. The Audi customer service people were professional when they delivered a finding I did not agree with. Otherwise the car works as promised. Have other readers had poor gas mileage???

Previous owner of a 2012 Q7 (and other Audis), loved it, not a minutes trouble, never an issue. Anxiously awaited new Q7, saw one at dealer, made a deal and said I would be back the next day to close the deal, I would be in a rush as I had to pick my kids up, make sure everything is ready to go (paperwork printed etc). My Admin Assistant tells them the same thing, make sure paperwork is ready. I buy a vehicle for business 3-4 times a year, I typically am out of the dealership before they can even fuel the vehicle up when they print everything in advance. It didnt happen, ended up being better than 3 hours so I missed picking up my kids, had to get other arrangements to pick them up while I am in dealership. I should have walked out. My fault, but I will never go back there again or buy another Audi. I finally get the car, 12 miles on it, no sooner than I leave dealer lot, warning light goes off. Early the next morning, another warning light, low tire pressure, tire goes flat with 55 miles on it. Nothing visibly wrong, put air in it. Next morning, same thing, flat tire, I tighten valve stem, problem solved. I work on second row seats to kill that warning light, put seats in every conceivable position, wont go out... I email dealer and call and leave a message tell them I am not happy, give me my old car back... No response, but believe me, they knew I was mad so they know who I am.Next day I drop my kids off at school, car wont come out of park in drop off line. Lots of angry parents behind me!!! Restart car several times, finally it will shift... and seat warning light goes out too, bonus!! Little while later the low windshield washer fluid light comes on... Open hood, its full... Then the low tire warning on again, I call dealer and say I am on the way to an appointment, can I swing by and you look at it. Sorry, you dont have an appointment and it will be a minimum of an hour before anyone can look and then dont know how long it will take and we dont have a loaner. The lady knows my name from my earlier complaints so you think they might make an effort to get me in quickly???Then the windshield wipers default to service position and will not operate nor will they reset to normal when you unclick the service position switch... I get out and push them down, they wont work, dead... I get home and call dealer again, left message for GM too, email them again. Then I call Audi care... What a joke! I am in business and understand good customer service, but as I voice my frustration, the lady says you need to take the car into dealer, to which I say I have tried but they have not been able to see me yet, I will take it there and leave it there! She says no, you cant do that, you have to work to the dealers schedule, make an appointment first. I reply back, what about customer service??? I say with previous Mercedes the dealer would come pick the car up and leave me a loaner for the day, that is customer service! She said I am just trying to lower your expectations so you wont be disappointed. Really??? The call went downhill from there, but I will never buy another AUDI ever again and this was a car I was anxiously anticipating getting. The entire Audi experience from the sale to the service to the car sucks...

I love the Audi A3. It has superb handling and has unbelievable acceleration for its price. It also has 4-wheel drive since we got the Quattro and it is reassuring. Its cabin is attractive and we both adore our driving position. We like its safety features, and has a quiet but extremely responsive engine. It is completely fun to drive.I would have preferred even more safety features such as automated braking in emergencies. Nevertheless, we would buy another Audi in a heartbeat because we have been won over with this experience.

Audi provides cars that meet the requirements for most people. They offer smaller vehicles such as the A3 and A4 that would be suitable for people looking for a luxury vehicle but who are budget conscious or live in a busy city with limited parking. They have the A5 and A6 for the midrange. If you are looking for a fully loaded full size sedan there is the A8 and S8 (more sporty). If you are into sports cars there is the R8. Audi also offers attractive vehicles. Their vehicles have classy styling and clean lines. They offer sporty options and their new vehicles feature full led headlights which is a great improvement over the old halogen lights. Also, Audi offers several color options and multiple trim options. Most people can find something that would suit their style; however, individuals looking for a clearly unique style or appearance might be a little disappointed. They have options in the different car size classes. Generally the vehicles are spacious and accommodating. The smaller vehicles will easily accommodate 4 adults with maybe a child in the middle in the back. Larger vehicles such as the A8 will easily and comfortably accommodate 5 adults.

I bought a brand new 2018 Audi Q5 thinking it as my dream car. It brought such a dismay & disappointment within a few days of buying with lots of problems popping up every day. Problems seen and fixed: 1. There was this squeaking noise from the back: Fixed after two visits and I had show them where the problem was happening. 2. The backlights not working. SUV in the garage currently to address this problem as on 12/06/2017. 3. Window regulator gone bad. Replaced and FIXED it. 4. Auto sense start & stop feature not working if the AC is ON. - Still not fixed as on 12/06/2017. SUV is with the dealers regarding this issue. 5. Numerous minute scratches all over the car the day it was bought. I was so disheartened seeing the scratches. All these complaint were taken to the dealer & The Audi North America too. After explaining the problems the service providers were not able to even figure out the problems. I had to go twice to explain them over & over. The dealers are still trying to figure out the solutions for some issues. I have already visited the dealer at least 6-7 times & right now my car is still in the garage since 2 weeks. The Audi USA are of no help. They took 2 months to respond to my case & said that the dealer would take care of it.And the car is still in the garage as I write this review. My Only question after buying brand new car are: 1. Why should I undergo this mess and waste of time/energy after buying a BRAND NEW CAR. 2. How come AUDI has not done any quality control before delivering the car. 3. How can they deliver a car like this to the customers and then have the customer go over this pain, distress and frustration. 4. Why should I visit dealers again and again to leave the BRAND NEW SUV for repairs after paying full price to buy the vehicle.

We bought a 2015 A6 7 months ago. This car rides like a dream, has power and comfort. But, you would think as much as you spend on these cars the service would be a lot better. We had our oil changed at Cavender Audi in San Antonio and they would not even reset the oil service alert (you are unable to do it yourself in MMI). Then when your complimentary data service runs out after 6 month you have to pay $800 for 30 months. Toyotas Entune is free, Fords, SYNC is free and I am sure there are a lot more companies that provide complimentary service like this. Chevy allows you to use your current phone data plan which costs $10 month. So bottom line the car is outstanding but as much as Audis cost they could at least give you complimentary data or at least let you use your phone company.

When the car had 40,000 miles and was over the time part of the express warranty (but not the mileage part) a light went on and I was told a valve in the turbo charger (that was redone and improved by Audi) needed replacement. This fixed the problem, but Audi only paid for the part not the over $300 of labor to replace the part. Given the history, they should have paid for the entire repair. They do not act like an upscale brand seeking to create a positive Audi Experience.

I have been financed 3 Audi A3s and previously have upgraded and re-financed but when my renewal came up on my 3rd I decided to pay it off & keep the car - I had no confidence in the staff & was not comfortable using them again. This is a shame as in the past theyve always been great - I dont know what theyve changed but now they are atrocious! Sales staff either have no knowledge or are not allowed to work out figures. My appointment to discuss refinance/upgrade options was booked by Audi with a sales rep. but every time we needed a figure he had to go to the manager for 10-15 mins and then come back to us to repeat what the manager had said!! I asked for a monthly figure on a particular car if I didnt pay a deposit & when I said I couldnt afford the figure his response was Its only 20 a month more than you told me you could afford, cant you find that?!!What a disgraceful thing to say to a customer, if he thinks an individual can find it, then surely an international company can work a deal so THEY find it! A few days later I called & asked if they could re-quote if I were able to pay a small deposit (if I sold mine privately and used the sale money to pay deposit), and was given EXACTLY THE SAME MONTHLY PAYMENT FIGURE as when I wasnt paying a deposit!! When I questioned this the salesman blamed me as he said I took the print out of his original quote so he no longer knew what that was!! Overall he showed no interest in looking after an existing customer & getting them to continue doing business with Audi, he had no idea what information he had previously given and left me feeling that I couldnt trust him or Audi as a company. Ive always loved Audis but Im very sad to say that based on this experience I will not use them again.

Do your research before buying any Audi. It is always a headache when things go wrong, but it is unacceptable when Audi America blames loyal customers for Audis poor engine performance. While driving on a dark 2 lane highway in Vermont our Audi engine seized without warning. My college-age son waited alone for 5 hours before getting towed 40 miles to the nearest Audi service center. The following Monday Audi service shared the news that the engine had metal shavings in it, total engine failure. The car has 61,000 miles on it and had been well maintained. With service records in hand we took the case to Audi for review. Audi conducted a sloppy investigation and ultimately let us know that we were out of Warranty. Also, they pointed to a policy where they claim only Audi can service the car. When asked to produce the policy and to fact check the information in the case history, Audi stopped responding. David Weissland President of Audi America was included on all emails and was fully aware of our dilemma. He stood by the customer service resolution. Quotes for a new engine $12,000.00-$14,000.00. My son could have been killed; Audi has shown they do not care. If you have had this happen to you please file a report with NHTSA so that we can hold these criminals accountable.

I bought my 2016 Audi Q5 in air day weekend of 2016 and Ive had 3 separate issues and now 3 recalls in the car within a matter of 9 months. 30 days in my sunroof started to rattle so bad it sounded like the glass was going to fall out. Take it to have it fixed and issues with getting a courtesy vehicle. I got a small A3 which is not comparable to a Q5... Just pointing out the obvious! Also they werent very thrilled about giving me a car even though that was used a sales tactic because that was one of the things I liked about their service and having a luxury SUV! They had to take out the sunroof and put something around the whole thing so it doesnt rattle. Issue was fixed and hasnt come back.Came back in probably 2 months after that when other random rattle sounds started to pop up. One in the back trunk area and one by the dash. Again did not want to give me a courtesy vehicle and again I had to insist. Im a mother of a small child, that time is precious to me and Im not sitting in a dealership with a small kid, no thanks! Trunk issues resolved, front they couldnt figure out and I hear from time to time. Now the final one is my window makes a high pitch screeching sound when I roll it down. Seems to happen in hotter weather. This is getting looked at this week and the 2 out of 3 recalls! This car has been plagued with problems and not the safe luxury SUV I spent $50,000 on to keep me and my daughter safe! Im so disappointed and disgusted with Audi and how Ive been treated. This is not the service or car I expected from them at all!! I called Audi America today and was told they couldnt buy my car back because it had recalls! Really? Why do you think I want to see it back to you, Audi??? Im not safe in this malfunctioning car you sold me!!! And now you dont want it back? SHOCKER! As for the dealership, they can care less and are so rude it blows my mind! Huge mistake buying an Audi! Ive been a Volkswagen/Audi customer for more than 12 years. My very last Audi was a 2005 Audi A6 3.2 Quattro sedan. I have leased it brand new for three years then purchased at lease-end. I ended up selling it to CarMax last Friday, 5/25/12. For almost seven years of A6 ownership, with 5 year/50K warranty included and purchased an additional 5 year/75K extended warranty with expensive repairs in mind, it was one hell of a ride. It was pampered like a baby and well-maintained. Its body is built like a jet and runs like a bullet train until 71K came. On 7/5/11, I took it to my local Audi dealership due to ABS warning light. They advised to have the 75K service done at the time and I said okay and they went ahead and performed the 75K service. After an hour or so, my advisor came back and informed me that while running some software update, the Parking Brake Control Module crashed. Guess what? It had to be replaced. Wow! They added another problem to the existing problem and that has always been the case every time I set foot to any Audi dealership and I would always pay for it! So, the Parking Brake Control Module was replaced for $794 excluding the 75K service which was $775 for a total of $1569 in one visit. After almost a year, on 5/8/12, I took it to the same Audi dealership with 77K on it due to the intermittent PRNDS all highlighted in red plus the ABS light came back. The car stayed in the dealership for 3 days. My advisor said it needs a new transmission and a new ABS pump and module for a grand total of $16K. Cha-ching! Wow! Keep in mind that I still owe around $10K on the car. I was totally overwhelmed! I called Audi of America and asked for some assistance and offered 50% off the total repair cost. I still need to pay $8k for it. I felt that it wasnt enough due to the fact that Im still making monthly payments plus the car has been well-maintained and had low mileage for the year model which lead me to the question of How can it suddenly break just like that?On May 25, 2012, I went to another dealership to trade it in. They checked and appraised the cars worth. To my surprise, they said the cars transmission is in good condition and theyre willing to buy it for $10K. I was so surprised to know that the transmission was not even an issue and I would still get $10K for it. That very same day, 5/25/12, I took my A6 to CarMax for appraisal just to have a comparison. Guess what? They found nothing wrong with the transmission. The appraisal report said, Transmission good condition, etc. and they were willing to pay me $10K. Well, well, well, the truth came out. Right that very moment, I realized Ive been cheated on, lied to by Audi for so many years. That was the very reason why I sold my A6 to CarMax that very same day. I dont mind paying for expensive maintenance for I knew it was bound to happen since its a luxury car but the fact that Audi was a greedy and a dishonest brand, it wasnt worth keeping at all. Maybe I didnt even need to have that Parking Brake Module replaced after all. I wanted to share this grim experience I had with Audi to the consumers out there who are stuck in the four rings of hell or are planning to purchase it. Let this serve as a warning or lesson to you and to those who are still okay with Audi, good luck. Im glad I got out of it but it took me thousands of dollars to realize that I dont want anything to do with Audi anymore.

Dear Customer Care, I am an AUDI A6 User and would like to express my view how AUDI INDIA is and how their Service center and how they are malfunctioning and ruining the name of Audi. I have been using the Audi A 66 past 7 years which is now 86000 kms been running but now the service centres are just malfunctioning the customers with very high price, making problems in the car and then expressing then the said parts needs to change or else they cannot do any thing.Audi India has created a customer which is just for a name sake and cannot do anything. The name says as customer care which means for customer but they are saying the words of Service centres and nothing else and also one of the executive told me he cannot do anything. Then why Audi India has created a CUSTOMER CARE. Its better you remove that and close that customer care and make it customer information centre.I sent my car for a regular service and on the receipt of the car after service i noticed that an error is showing on my cluster which says oil level is low so i immediately complained the service centre and asked them that you charged me for the oil change etc but why it is showing which was not showing earlier. Then they took the car back and after 5 days they said I need to pay Rs. 125000 to change the cluster so I am so upset that it was not there before service and after they service they deliberately make the programming in such a way that this error showing and now make money from the customer. At the outset so called customer care is also cannot do any thing. After my complaint the service team relation ship manager is calling me and saying that this error was there past one year and now showing. Is it possible? Also she is claiming that we can get it verified but the question is from where can i verify this? When i ask the same question to Audi India customer care they also says what the service centre says is right. What does this means, as I have all the rights to make sure what the problem is and get it verified but there is no answer with any one.It seems nobody at AUDI wants to address the concern and leave the customer at a mercy that either I pay or get rid of the problem or i close the issue. This is the kind of service level AUDI INDIA is doing and your dealers are killing the Audi India Image. I wish i wouldnt have purchase the Audi and it is my worst decision to buy Audi Car now. I am not going to recommend this car to any one and will also put on all the forums so that all the future buyers should understand the After sales service support that Audi India has. I also wish i would have been in Europe or USA where the law is such that the Audi India has a responsibility to answer. This is it. Thanks. Jai **

Very dissatisfied with the amount of rust on my 2006 Audi A3. Its unbelievable. I see many cars on the road many years older that dont have half the rust mine has accumulated. Its over 500 dollars just to buy the metal for the door. No glass, electric... Etc. Its a wonder if the metal was defective. Now I have an airbag recall. My seats as well have cracked and ripped. That started at 75000 miles.

I purchased Q7 4.2 2007 in 2006. It was one of the first 1000 made worldwide and I received complimentary maintenance service up to 50K miles. Zoltan ** at Seattle University Audi was very good. So good, we bought another car from him later. :-) I have now (2014) 86K miles on it. I have had some small issues like broken window screen on the left side and stuck screen on the right (so far I have not fixed any). Cracked and eventually separated air filter housing intake (I have used Gorilla tape for that). I have changed brake pads, spark plugs, battery, some light bulbs. All by myself. No major issues. This car is very well made and I am very happy with it. Its heavy on gas, but I already knew that when I bought it. All fluids are done on time, most of the time at Audi dealer. It burns oil, but thats nothing new. Considering mileage, I have not had any serious problems. I am going to keep driving it and see how much longer it will last. Hoping for 300K.

From day one of my purchase I had issues with my A8. Now 4 years later have had heating fail 2xs, suspension fail, windshield leak, electric fail numerous time, bolts come loose in both doors, breaks squeak and be told that is normal. My Audi has had maintenance to it (outside of normal service) every 2 months. Called Audi American to explain my issues. They were able to pull the 16 work orders so they saw my issues were valid. After weeks of dealing with them, I was told that I should go back to where I purchased to see if there are any incentives that could be used to get me into a new car. That is Audi loyalty. Buy a car that is a straight lemon and they will allow you to buy a new car with incentives at the dealership. I will never buy another and highly recommend people to avoid.

Audi Midtown Toronto (Agincourt Autohaus). I have a regular service (odometer 118364) at Audi Midtown Toronto on Sept 01, 2011 and mentioned there is a vibration at front wheel during acceleration (all season tire). After service, the technician told me that should be the tire problem and charged $21+tax. On Sept 29, 2011, I rescheduled for service of vibration at front wheel because it still happened (change to snow tire). After service, the technician told me he didnt feel anything and charged $31.50+tax. On Oct 11, 2011, I rescheduled service again of vibration at front wheel because it still happened and the technician told me he didnt feel anything. Maybe the floor mat? On Nov 29, 2011, it brought up the same problem again. This time the foreman told me the same store didnt feel anything, it may be the floor mat. On Dec 13, 2011, it brought up the same problem again and I drove to show the foreman whats going on and told him not the tire or floor mat problem. At the time, the foreman felt the vibration at front wheel during acceleration and rescheduled on Dec 16, 2011 for check up again. After check up, he told me he didnt feel anything. It may be the floor mat? So I have to bring this problem to Audi Uptown on Dec 20, 2011 and schedule service on Jan 06, 2011. Finally, they found out the drive shaft problem and told me its under warranty. After job was done, suddenly they told me that this part is not under warranty. They did it before (on Feb 02, 2011 and Mar 03, 2011) and I needed to pay for parts and labor of $982.5 +tax. I told them this case and brought up on Sept 01, 2011 at Audi Midtown Toronto (Agincourt Autohaus) and I will talk to them should it be under warranty period. On Jan 9, 2011, I met up with Audi Midtown Toronto (Agincourt Autohaus) the service manager, Rolf ***. He told me that from the past two times, if CV boot is broken that can cause. This happened on May 13, 2010 and Sept 01, 2011. What? Same side broken twice in 2 years. What kind of material are your parts using? (Because still in warranty period odometer 118364 Sept 01, 2011) Is that easy to damage the drive shaft even the CV boot broken? I pay almost $50k for Audi. Why are the parts (CV boot, drive shaft and even the engine) easily broken? I should post this case to public and let people know about my case. It is below todays requirement and service standard. I am very disappointed because of Audi Midtown Torontos (Agincourt Autohaus) mistake (in five times visit. I have all service date and time in my email). The drive shaft can be replaced under warranty. The other thing was the wrong CV boot (left side) was broken two times (May 13, 2010 and Sept 01, 2011. It looks like its very easily broken) and why they didnt find this problem (drive shaft vibration) when they replace the CV boot at the same time? It looks like he wants to make stories to cover their mistake?

Since purchasing my Audi A6 2.0t Premium Plus it has been nothing but problems. Right now my horn and AC dont work. Just go to a forum for the brand of car youre looking to buy and search for the specific car, you will find one problem after another! I wish I could rate my service at ZERO stars. In brief, returned to my car at end of work day and battery was dead. Called AAA and quickly started it with a jump. Drive for 30 minutes and picked up my dog. Got back in car and battery dead again. Friendly stranger provided a jump. Started up quickly. Drove home and parked. Lights and radio automatically turned off as usual. Locked. Scheduled Audi roadside assistance for a.m. and appt at dealership. Car was again quickly jumped and started. Drive 30 minutes and dropped off at RVA Audi dealership. Got new battery but was told not covered by warranty because power left on. Pray tell how that is possible when radio AND lights are automatic???? And, even if this lie were true, the battery, if properly functioning, would be jump started, and would then be good to go. This is yet another attempt by Audi to evade responsibility for warranty coverage. 2nd time in the short 8 months I have had this car! So disappointed in how unethical this company has become. #lastaudiforthisgal

This brand offers a whole assortment of different models. Absolutely everyone needs to purchase one. These cars have very distinct and beautiful features, new models include touch screens and awesome radio, beautiful leather seats, and the engine is wonderful. The car is beautiful on the outside too. There are lots of different upgrades and personalization. Some of the upgrades would include a touch screen, an awesome radio system, upgrade to leather seats and touch screen radio system, upgrades the engine. Also the passenger capacity is awesome, for a sporty car, this thing is just so great. You can fit you and your neighbors family in this thing. You would think that there would not be too much room because of the sportiness but there sure is.

I own a 2014 Audi Q5 TDI that I had driven from Pensacola Florida to Kansas City Missouri to see relatives. During weekend of June 13 a warning came on dash of AdBlue fault, car will not restart in 400 miles. I called Molle Audi in Kansas City first thing Monday to try get car in for check and repair if necessary. I was told they had no appointment openings but they would try to work it in as quickly as possible. I informed them I MUST have car back the next week as I planned to drive back to Florida. After not hearing anything for two days, I called them on Thursday for status. They had not touched it and said they would try the next day. They did not touch it that day but promised they would get it the next Monday. It had sat for an entire week even though they knew I needed it urgently. Monday they did diagnose it as bad AdBlue pump and absolute soonest they could get it in would be Friday the 19th. I was told Audi policy was to not expedite shipments for any reason. The car did finally get repaired and I received it on Tuesday June 30. My complaint is that they do not care whatsoever about customer needs and will do exactly what they want when they want no matter the situation. I will NEVER darken the doors of that dealer again, nor will I ever purchase any German brand auto due to their arrogant, insensitive attitudes and business practices.

Please be aware that Audi subcontracts out their Roadside Assistance. I was stranded for 2 hours with a flat tire. The Jack Rabbit company Audi uses accepted a call to assist me. I waited 2 hours. They did not show up. When I called to ask where they were they stated they do not change tires. No one called to let me know. Audi then called a different subcontracted company who sent a teenager who was unable to change my tire because he could not locate the wheel locks. He was never inserviced on its location.I had to call Audi back and after 3 hours they sent a flat bed to tow my car to Audi. I paid for this poor service for 3 years. They do not notify their customers that Roadside assistance is subcontracted out to multiple incompetent poorly inserviced vendors. In addition a Audi subcontracted company inspected my car at lease end. It received a score with no issues that I was responsible for. Within 48 hours I had 2 tires with nails in them. One had blown out while driving. Did they truly inspect the car thoroughly? I hope this helps all who read this and please do your own due diligence to verify their Roadside Assistance Protocols.

As of 2020 this car is now 8 years old with 120K kms on it. In the last four years this car has had a number of issues that I have never experienced with much cheaper vehicles I previously owned. Lets see what went wrong... Ball bearings had to be replaced last year, both rear view mirrors -drivers and passengers sides have come unglued, now the coolant is leaking and the water pump needs to be replaced. The worst of all is that the car has been eating oil like crazy - needs to be topped off every 1000kms now - apparently it is due to the issue with the pistons on multiple vehicles but Audi is doing nothing about it. German engineering hasnt proven to be all that great. Sure the car feels nice to drive and handles well but considering the upper class it is not made well. Not buying another Audi again - the amount of issues and the cost of repairs are not worth the nicer interior and nicer handling than your average Mazda or Chevy.

I have leased Audis Flagship Sedan A8 in June 2013. The array of different problems ranging from complete replacement of steering system to the faulty MMI screen unit appeared shortly after. Though I was not enthused by these shortcomings, I liked the driving dynamics of the vehicle and enjoyed beautiful warm interior design. The pinnacle of this technological marvel came around 12000 miles. I have noticed a humming noise coming from the tires. I took the car to the local Audi dealership. Upon inspection of the vehicle, the service manager informed me of the following: Audi created the unique size of the tire (265/40/R20) and there are only Pirelli tires available in this size in all-season configuration. All these tires are making humming noise, even a new ones. Therefore he cannot help me. He also stated that many of his customers complain about this problem and he personally dislike Pirelli products. I was left with no choice, but to continue driving and listening to this humming symphony.By 20000 miles the noise became so loud, that it was hard to listen to the radio or talk on the phone without raising my voice. I placed a phone call to Pirelli headquarters who promptly refused to replace their product under the warranty. Taking into consideration that Ive been a loyal Audi customer for 14 years, I decided to write a letter to the executive committee of Audi of North America. I have informed them that they installed a low quality product on their Flagship Sedan and they created the size of the tire which is not available from any other tire manufacturer but Pirelli. Therefore they are equally responsible for this error in judgement. I have received a reply from so called Regional Expert shortly after. The letter was written in a monotonous standard script, which is most likely mailed to all their valued customers. The bottom line of the letter stated that I am a valued member of the Audi family, but I can take my problem somewhere else. Any other correspondence I wrote to Audi of North America in this regard and their main office in Germany was left unanswered. So, I went ahead and replaced noisy Pirelli tires with the same noisy Pirelli tires for the cost of $1300.00 and continue driving and listening to this humming noise, but to a lesser degree, while counting the days until I return this leased vehicle and forget about this nightmare.I want you all to know, if you decide to acquire one of their vehicles and you come up with a problem, which cannot be resolved on the dealership level, do not expect any help from the company no matter how many years you had been a valued member of Audi Family and no matter how much money you had previously spent on their products.

I subsequently did received notice of driver side airbag recall from Audi on 4/5/2016 with the letter indicating no replacement parts were available and I would be advised when they would be. I now have received another notice for the passenger side airbag with same note that no parts are available and I will be advised when that would occur. There is a decent amount of variety available if you are looking for something that fits with the Audi image. Most people are familiar with the models Audi has put out. The car I ended up getting in the end was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Its a pretty standard car size with a pretty standard passenger capacity. Carries four people comfortably, five if you stick someone in the middle in the back. Most of the extras I wanted came standard, and there were a few more things I hadnt thought about that were really appealing and I couldnt pass them up. I was able to personalize my choice in all the ways I had hoped to. Cars have gotten so fancy these days that its almost impossible to find a new car that doesnt come with a bunch of stuff standard that some people might not even want!

Audi Financial Services is the weakest link in your organization, and needs fixing. First, I explored purchasing my Audi A8L at the end of my lease. The forms were to be mailed to me, but I never received them. Second, I then explored selling the car to CarMax, and received a purchase quote of $54,022 on September 29, good through October 6.Third, on October 1, I asked Audi about a 1-month lease extension, gave my credit card information, but when told of the amount ($2,164.42), I canceled the request at once. Your agent didn’t cancel as I asked. I’m now disputing that amount on my credit card. Fourth, when I tried to sell the car to Carmax on October 5, Audi sent another purchase quote — adding more than $4,270. I refused this exorbitant second quote, as I was within the time parameters of the first quote. After five hours of conversations with Audi agents in three states, Audi agreed to stand by the original purchase quote. During those five hours, however, I was often faced with “waiting for the next available agent” up to 20 minutes, voicemails, and agents who could not make decisions and passed me off to others. I needed one agent who could respond quickly and make a prompt decision. This litany of poor customer service is abysmal and unworthy of Audi.

I purchased a 2005 Audi A8L a year ago (Jan. 18, 2011) from Checkered Flag Audi. This was supposed to be my dream car, but it’s a nightmare, a lemon. This was not an impulse purchase as I own a 1997 Audi A6, which is the perfect car with no major problems. I’ve always purchased new cars, but the A6 was my first used purchase. I like the look of the A8, but not the new A8 price. So for months I looked for the perfect used Audi A8 with reasonable miles and nice features. So I didn’t hesitate when I found the 2005 A8L at your dealership. However, it has been the worst mistake I’ve ever made. The car has spent over (200) two hundred days in service since I purchased it last year. I’ve been making car payments on a vehicle that I can’t drive because it’s in the service department on Virginia Beach Blvd. The last time I saw my car was Dec. 16, 2011, and it was broke down on the side of the interstate. Here’s a list of some of the things that have been replaced, repaired or broken by the Audi service technicians. The list may not be complete since I’m not able to locate the car and retrieve the service records in the glove compartment. The front end replaced (a problem when we initially purchased the vehicle).New radiator, which we had no problems with until we took it in for service.New water pump (scheduled maintenance).Electrical system (MII). Had problem during test drive and took 2 trips and over 80 days to diagnose and fix.Lock and lug set (dealership lost when diagnosing front end work).Serpentine belt (scheduled maintenance). The whole pulley and belt system due to improper install. This caused my car to break down on the interstate on December 16, 2011 and it’s still at the dealership. I’ve not received any communication since the 1st week in January 2012. A dent in the rear bumper while being serviced. This happened while the car was being service.Damage windshield reservoir due to frontend work (damaged when the front end was serviced and has not been replaced).Cracked center console due to MII replacement (damaged by Audi technician during installation).Bad rear air shock, which is a problem we discussed with Alan **, Mark (the car salesman), and the business manager when I signed the contract. Alan assured me that since the car hadn’t been serviced they would diagnose the problem and fix it. I was told it was not a covered repair and they packed it with grease.Battery replacement--during one of the many service appointments the battery ran down. It was in the shop for over a month when I received the call. I was forced to pay $186.00 to replace the battery and it was clearly not something I caused. This is an excessive amount of repairs. I would understand and expect to have these problems if I purchased my car from Charlie Faulk or The Auto Connection. However, I purchased my car from Checkered Flag Audi, a so-called reputable dealership. I found out that the car was not service prior to me purchasing it. That explains the problems during my test drive which the manager (Alan) assured me that everything would be taken care of (the problems would be minor). I guess they need to make the quota for the month at my expense. My car has been in the shop on every major holiday, except for Thanksgiving. We can’t take it out of town because it will not make the trip. I bought this car for my wife, and I don’t ever want to see her stuck on the side of the busy interstate again. I’m paying car payments on a car that I don’t have; more important, the car won’t live pass the loan amount. I only have a year left on my warranty and I fear that I will be stuck with an unusable car because you sold me a bad product. Checkered Flag Audi should be ashamed to sell such a poor product. I purchased my car from your dealership because I wanted a quality used car from a reputable establishment. This is not the case.I believe I’ve been very patient and cooperative in this matter, but enough is enough. I’ve left many messages for Alan and my calls have not been returned. I will be seeking legal counsel or better yet 10 On Your Side to expose the type of dealership that I purchased my car from.

Everything about Audi is fantastic. I am not familiar with other cars made by this brand, but I have seen commercials that seem like Audi has good variety in their body styles. Its appearance is very sleek and stylish, with a great deal of technological features while youre driving. I love both the handling and technology of this car. Upgrades are a breeze. They come easily and quickly and personalization is key to this company. Each car seems tailored to its driver. Passenger capacity is fine. Additionally, the cars all look great, modern, and sleek. From what I saw their personalization options looked very promising if I ever need to use it in the future. Although the car was a certified pre-owned they had not performed the 35k maintenance on the car. Less than a month later they charged $450 for the 35k maintenance. I have been driving the car long distances between Pittsburgh and Chicago on a bi-weekly basis and other than having to watch the oil and add every 1500 miles the car has operated flawlessly. I like the quattro in the snow. I am concerned though about the reliability of the vehicle and will be trading it for a Chevy Cruise first chance that I get. Purchased Audi Q7 2017 from Farmington Dealer. Around 600 miles, I was hearing lot of noise from the passenger side wheel. Had gone to the dealer about the noise and they said since it was new and they did a visual inspection, Later this continued several occasions. Finally at 5000 miles, they asked me to go for a long drive, which I did, at 9000 miles. They said it is the problem with the tires and they need to be replaced, so had contacted the dealer and German Audi. Instead of replacing the tires they offered to replace 2 tires and rest two tires I have to pay from my pocket. I sent some emails to Audi of Germany but they fell into deaf ears. This shows their excellence in Testing and launching the vehicle. These vehicles tend to be extremely visually pleasing, stylish and sleek. These are usually futuristic looking and quite stunning to see. And these vehicles tend to be quite accommodating to multiple passengers with the exception of the spot models. They usually have great leg and head room. Great size for families or large people. And there is a fair amount of variety and selection. I do feel they are highly overpriced when it comes to maintaining the vehicle. They can be reliable but when they break parts can cost more than the vehicle itself. Custom wheels, custom sound systems, custom paint and custom interior options. Also custom accessory packages. These custom features tend to increase the price dramatically.

I purchased a 2021 Audi RS6 from the dealer then found horrible paint and body defects on the entire vehicle days later. Audi USA would not respond to my attempts at contacting them until I called them out on Social Media. Apparently, that’s the only way to get anyone to respond. Even still, I was told by Audi to “trust the dealer and their attempt to make it better.” So I did and it is even more so ruined. Audi has not offered any customer service when purchasing a vehicle of this caliber and price point. Severely disappointed.

I purchased a 2014 A6 from Bell Audi in NJ. The dealership service department is horrible. Not only do they not service the car correctly they try to rip you off by trying to sell you other parts. I called corporate to complain and they did nothing about it. I dont recommend you purchase a car from this dealership or an Audi for that matter. They break done easily and their parts are very expensive. If youre going to buy a german car buy a BMW. Its a much better car and their customer service is much better.

I have bought the Audi A4 since 2005. I purchased CPO for the extended warranty. I have had a 2001, great car and a 2006, another really great car. I was ready to update to a 2013. I found the car online and it is a beautiful car. However, I have had about 3 recalls in the two years that I have owned it. At the time I purchased the car, I bought it sight unseen but by online photos. I discovered the following... the spare tire is not regular size tire but a “donut”, dual temperature control is not standard, the Cd changer no longer exists, and 60/40 split folding seats were not available, as well as a push-button parking break which would probably not be of much service if your accelerator gets stuck and you need to shift to neutral to try to stabilize the car. Features that seem to be standard (or just luck on my previous buys) are now optional or obsolete. Wish I had kept my ‘06, looking to trade-down. When did leather seats become leather inserts... ugh... Oh, yes, the turbo diverter valve has a gasket and required a new piston driven diverter valve, the cost for replacement is approx $3500.00, Why has this issue not been a recall since the issue is addressed online when you get the diagnostics code. Shame on you Audi... Sacrificing quality for cheap.

My year 2010 Audi A4 2.0 TFSI Quattro has started to burn excessive oil due to a design/manufacturing fault. Local dealer in Turkey, Audi Turkey (Dogus Otomotiv) is not responsive with my issue since it is a design problem so should take the manufacturers responsibility. Finally I had to have my cars engine rebuilt by paying 4500 USD to one of the official service point in Ankara, Turkey, last week. Now I am so disappointed about my Audi car and the local dealer of it (and also Audi AG, Germany). Therefore I have started a protesting campaign to make them hear my and thousands of desperate Turkish customers voices. Please send your supports and help me with this campaign to succeed and maybe to change this frustrating situation, causing a huge dissatisfaction and disappointment about the brand AUDI in Turkey.P.S.: You can investigate and check the general look, image/reputation of Audi Turkey/Dogus Otomotiv which is also the local dealer of Volkswagen cars in Turkey especially about their customer satisfaction levels that I believe you also recognize it is very low level. Thanks for your supports and helps. Those may help solving our customer satisfaction problems with our local dealer!

I owned a Q5. I bought it for less than 2 years with numerous problems. First, engine consumed too much engine oil; and apparently, it was due to piston ring problems. Its sent to workshop for 3-4 times for engine oil measurement, and finally, I had to leave the car for more than a month and had to quarrel for courtesy car. Car was OK for a few months, and then last month, it has gearbox malfunction. I think its megatronic(?) defect. I was asked to wait for 3 days as part was supposed to come from Singapore, and I ended up waiting for 2 weeks. When they called, they tried to give me an appointment which was 2 weeks later, until I screamed at them!I sent in the car a few days ago, and again, I dont ever expect to have a courtesy car like I used to enjoy from BMW. Whats amazing? Well, car is under warranty, but sorry, no courtesy car. They changed the megatronic plus rendered the 60,000km service. I left the car for 1 week. I just called to report another 2 minor problems, cigarette lighter not working and seat adjuster not working. Their answer was You need to wait longer, because you report additional problems. if you want your car back, then send in another time for these two problems! What can I do? Its not the technicians fault but the companys! They only know how to sell but dont care the service! Typical management! The problem all started with them not caring or hiring more technicians to handle the service and repair. So many cars got problems, but so few technicians are working on them. There are so many Audi users who are facing the same problem, in case you dont know or dont care! Its not worth paying so much for this kind of experience.

I bought a brand new Audi Q3 2015 last year. Audi was my dream car before, but after buying this car I am feeling guilty of buying this car. I had a service @ one of the dealership last year. They had done wheel alignment and rebalance last year. The service was bad and when I gave the car for routine maintenance at different dealership they wanted me to pay again for rebalancing and wheel alignment. I have contacted Audi to complaint on the bad service. They took a complaint but never called me back with resolution. One of the customer care representative told me that I have to reach out directly to dealer and they wont help me in this issue. I dont understand why I need to buy a luxurious car who dont even take care of their customer concerns properly. I will never buy this car and planning to sell this car in near future. Bottom line - its not my dream car anymore.

2012 Audi S4 with NGY transmission (TSB issued by Audi). Vehicle has 69,000 miles. Driving in morning traffic and vehicle stops accelerating and all electronics go dead. Sitting in the middle of the freeway trying to get vehicle functioning. Restart it and vehicle flashes gearbox malfunction and stops accelerating about every mile. Not a fun experience on an LA freeway. Audi dealer says it needs a new transmission for $12,000. After the third call to Audi USA and being read the same canned speech the person tells me that it’s my problem and Audi will do nothing to help fix the car. I ask to speak to a manager and I’m told they do not participate in customer direct communications and they will not change the final decision. My conclusion is that Audi could care less about their customers and their cars are just plain junk. They look and drive nice but are complete electronic and mechanical disasters. This car and my 2012 A6 will be traded in and Audi can plan on me. Doing everything I can to spread the word about their poor customer service and poor quality.

I leased a q5. Great car, and a fine enough experience during my lease. However post lease the actions of Audi have me considering talking to a lawyer. Prepaid overage miles, was not credited. Called in to give them my transaction number and their office is not taking calls at this time due to high volume. No call back option, no hold option, and I get this message for a week straight of attempts. 2 weeks later I finally get through to the team, give them my prepaid transaction number and they said I should receive a zero account balance shortly. One month later I get a bill again without my prepayment applied. Again their phone number for Audi USA is not accepting calls. If this touches my credit which it has threatened to do I will have to seek a legal remedy. Ridiculous that I have to spend this much of my time and effort to fix their issues. Its a beautiful car but WALK AWAY!

I took in the car as the windows smash and grab gets scratched out every time I open the windows (all of them). Then they lied to me and said its the type of rubber Audi uses which scratches all their windows so they cant help me or change it. 2015/04/14 - My car is new and its not even a month old and it is flashing oil change. Response was a sorry and they took it in to be fixed. 2015/11/26 - My car went in for a service and they smashed it and had to wait until January driving a smashed car. Brand new car now turned into a smashed one and I must just accept a sorry???Response was: It is regrettable that your car got damaged whilst in for service. We do sincerely apologize for the mishap despite us taking extreme caution with our customers cars. Please understand that we do not plan these things but they do happen at all dealerships. We are transparent and accept responsibility for the incident. I have arranged for your car to come in around the 2nd week of January 2016 once everything returns to normal. And then they ask me not to rate them with Audi SA - May I please ask that you do not participate in the survey with IPSOS should they decide to call you. May I ask that you rather participate in the survey once we have repaired the damage on your car? This rating is very important to us and I think the whole experience has been tainted by this unfortunate event. Now I went over a month ago as here is a list of problems. Loud sound when I hit the brakes and go over humps, the car cuts power when I drive it, the car doesnt lock, the dashboard and speedometer switches off while Im driving, when you put the car on reverse it does the opposite and when you put it on drive it reverses before it moves forward (at my sons school when I put it on drive it reversed into another car). The soft top needs to be tightened as well, no rain sensor as well, its as if electrically it is messed up.Over a month ago they asked me to bring it in and one of their technicians drove around Sandton to listen and also said he knows what the problem is so I need to book it in and it will take days to fix it. I asked if I will get a loan car and they said ok. When we went back to their office where they said the booking agents were in a meeting and I must just leave my number, they did phone me and booked it in for the 8th of June. When the car started not locking I phoned them again as I was very worried then Ismail asked me to bring it in this Monday, I asked for my loan car and was told I will never get one as the previous guys did not even book a loan car for me and if I want to wait then they can only fix and give me a loan car in July.Clearly Audi doesnt care about the owners safety. I decided I have to take it as I fear for my life, I dropped it off at Audi on Monday morning and even today I havent got feedback as to what is wrong with the car??? I really thought the technician that drove with me said he knew where the problem is. I really want Audi to give me my money and take their car back. I seriously dont think its fair that its their technical fault and I must suffer!!! Now I phoned at 7h25 today to speak to Ismael or the dealer principal (was told Ismael is around but they cant get hold of him and the dealer principal will be in around 1 pm). I still dont know what is wrong with my car or HOW IM GETTING HOME TODAY as I had to take Uber to come to work and drop off my son.

Beware if you are an Audi owner. I love their cars but their customer service sucks! I have had the same part on my vehicle replaced every year for 6 years. No one could find out the problem so I assumed they would just keep doing this. Wrong! If you have ANY repair service done, even at the dealership, make sure you call up Audi Customer Service and get a Case ID number. The repair on your vehicle, even through a dealership, is NOT accessible to anyone else. In other words, unless you call up Audi every time you have an issue they will not accept that it even occurred. Receipts dont help.My dealership was repairing the part out of what they call goodwill. What is that? I thought they were repairing it because of a design or part flaw on their part. It should be expected to be replaced. I shouldnt have to be grateful they fixed my car! This last time the repair lasted a year and a half so the warranty on the vehicle and that part is over. Its only $1100 to fix a door seal! Maybe because they should last the life of the vehicle.

Audi offers a lot of variety and different styles from SUVs to sedans. Audi SUVs are 4 passenger and sedans 4 as well. Audis sport models offer 2 passenger seating with race car features. I prefer sedans but the variety in styles is amazing. Audi is designing cars better than the rest at a good price. It is leading the way in stylish car making. It has a distinct style from the rest of the other luxury car makers. It has a very luxurious style to all their models and come fully loaded with all the features that you want. The stereo system is amazing and the speakers are booming. Audi offers a variety of upgrades and many personalization options to make it styled to fit your personality and everyones needs. Upgrade to all leather seats and power everything.

I own a 2013 Audi A6. It came with a 4 year 57,000 mile warranty. My car was perfectly maintained. The engine blew up (ring failed, destroying the block). The car had only 39,000 miles. You would think no problem... Wrong. The warranty had expired by 9 months. So Audi wanted to charge me $10,000 for a new motor. I went through the roof. They then offered to pay half if I bought a $3700 extended warranty (a wash), I said, See you in court. I called corporate and they said if I didnt take the offer they would rescind it. A not so subtle threat. They came back and said, half price and no warranty. Reluctantly I agreed. The way I was treated by the dealership and the company, it’s obvious that Audi does not stand by its product. I highly recommend that any consumer stay away from Audi product. Bad company.

Following this chain of events, the car is still in my driveway with the engine in parts in the trunk and the dealer, Barrier Audi, refuses to even pay for the items stolen out of the car:March 29, 2013 - The car died while driving and would not restart. Pete, my son who does not own this car but was driving the car at the time, had the car towed to Barrier Audi. They confirmed that the engine would not start and told him that the engine would have to be torn down in order to determine the cause and extent of potential damage. April 16, 2013 - My son received the following email from Dave (service writer) at Barrier: I spoke with Gary this morning and he informed me that you had emailed him asking for Audi to assist with this repair. Gary has asked me to get authorization from you to do some tear-down so we can determine exactly what needs to be replaced. Essentially you would be agreeing to cover the labor costs ($900) to tear down the engine. Once we know exactly what needs to be done, we can approach Audi and ask for assistance. They may help with some financial assistance but please understand that they may choose not to participate as well and in that case, if you chose not to proceed any further, you would be responsible for the costs of the tear down. Please let me know if you would like to proceed.April 17, 2013 - My son replied to Daves email: Lets go ahead with the tear-down. Sorry for the delay in response. Between work, kids, and wedding planning, things have been a little crazy. June 2013 - My son told me that he had been trying to work with Barrier and Audi Customer Experience to determine what options may be available to repair the car other than the $7,000 estimate that was provided to him by Barrier Audi for a new engine. There have been ongoing problems with the engine in this car from the time it was new, and all we were told was to put oil in it whenever the light came on. Apparently Audi refused to even have a conversation about options for assistance in this repair until he produced every receipt for every quart of oil he added to the car approximately every 500 to 1,000 miles over the 107,000 miles it was driven. He had requested service records from both Larson Audi and Jobs Audi, but received no response from either. He had no work order from Barrier Audi and no invoice. June 27, 2013 - My husband and I met with Dave, the Assistant Service Manager at Barrier Audi. We told him that Pete was not the registered owner of the car; that I was the registered owner. Dave clearly had no interest in a conversation other than Bring all of your receipts for every quart of oil ever put in the car. What we told him was that we were longstanding Barrier customers and understood that they got pulled into this when the car died. We told him that all we are asking is for Barrier to help sort it out with Audi since they and we all know that there is a well-documented problem with this engine. We also told him that we first leased it from Audi Financial and then purchased it from Audi Financial so Audi has already made a lot of money on this car. He turned red in the face a lot but would absolutely not engage in conversation. We asked him why anyone that we know would ever buy another Audi and he said he didnt know. He did not provide the Service Order or provide me with an invoice to pay for the engine tear down. He did not ask me to take the car home. We left with no further resolution.July 26, 2013 - We were told by the service writer that that there is a tech at Barrier Audi that is interested in buying the car as is. We did not respond. We are continuing to try to get service records from the other two Audi dealers. August 21, 2013 - I realized that I did not receive a monthly statement from VW Credit for the Audi. I made an online payment on August 21, 2013. September 4, 2013 - I received a certified letter from VW Credit stating that they had my vehicle and were going to sell it because I broke promises in our agreement. Since no one had tried to contact me from Barrier Audi, I was stunned. I called VW Credit and spoke with Brandon. I asked him what promise in our agreement was broken and why they had the car and planned to sell it. He did not know. He transferred me to Audi Customer Experience when I requested that I speak with someone at Audi.I was transferred to Audi Customer Experience. Andrew, the representative who took the call, did some research and told me that Careful Asset Recovery had the car. He also told me that he would have a release processed so that I could pick up the car and bring it home. He said that they would waive the Voluntary Surrender fee of $250 and that there would be no storage charges. He said that he would look into the circumstances that caused the car to be picked up and call me back. He also said that he would get the service records from the other dealers.September 9, 2013 - We had the car towed home to my house. All of my sons belongings were missing from the car. September 23, 2013 - After not hearing back from Audi Customer Experience, I received an email from Audi Customer Relations Center asking if I was pleased with the resolution of my case. I responded extremely negatively and told them that the case was not resolved. September 23, 2013 - After not hearing back from Audi Customer Experience, I found that Andrew had left a message on the wrong phone. I contacted Andrew and asked about the status with VW credit. He told me that when he contacted Barrier Audi, they told him unbelievably that they had no knowledge of the car. He had not received any of the requested documentation from the other dealers. He transferred me to VW Credit so that I could determine the status on the account there as he had no organizational responsibilities for them. VW Credit was closed for the day.September 24, 2013 - I called VW Credit to get status on the account. I found that over $1,000 had been added to my credit account. Dana did not know why and did not know why I had been charged $250 as a voluntary surrender fee when I had not surrendered the car, and in fact, had no idea that the car was being towed. Dana said that she would call me back after she researched the charges and that it might take up to 72 hours. I was told that I had abandoned the car at the dealership and that the amount of the engine teardown, which was not authorized by me had been added to my car purchase account. I have never seen the work order nor bill for the teardown. VW Credit seemed startled that I had no information nor requests for payment from the dealer, but they also clearly could not find any such communication in the records.September 25, 2013 - Dana from VW Credit called back and I asked what the charges were for and was told that they were: Collection charges (I told Dana that they could not be collection charges since the account was current. Dana agreed); Storage charges (I told Dana that they could not be storage charges since Audi Customer Experience had them waived. Dana agreed); Service charges from Barrier Audi who had said that they had no knowledge of the car (I told Dana that I had not authorized any work, nor had I seen any invoice. Dana agreed that these should not be service charges but that Barrier Audi had the amount placed on the account.)I was also told that their records stated that Barrier Audi had contacted them (VW Credit) to have the car towed. I was then told that I had abandoned the car at the dealership and that the amount of the engine teardown, which was not authorized by me had been added to my car purchase account. I told her that I had never seen the work order nor bill for the teardown. I had also not been asked to pick up the car. Dana seemed startled that I had no information nor requests for payment from the dealer, but she could not find any such communication in their records either. I asked what reason Barrier Audi gave for their actions and Dana said that they could not locate a reason in the file. I asked if they made a habit of towing cars with no reason and was told that they typically simply do as the dealer requests. I asked if VW Credit was aware that in Washington state, no one can be charged for car repairs without a signed work order. I was told that they do not know about laws in the state of Washington or any other state and that I would have to take it up with Barrier Audi. VW Credit waived the $250 voluntary surrender fee and tried to conference Gary **, the Service manager at Barrier Audi. He was not available. Dana left a message for him to call her back. He did not call her back. I did not receive a statement because VW Credit thought that they still had possession of the car. They were surprised to hear that I had the car at home. They said that they would put a rush on sorting out the account. I filed a complaint with the Washington State Attorney Generals office.October 7, 2013 - I received an email from the Attorney Generals Office with a letter attached from Audi of America. They stated that since I had not provided the service records (which had been requested from the two dealers weeks before and not received) that they could not do anything. They also stated that the VW Credit issue was completely separate and not their problem. Mr. ** also stated that he had no response from VW Credit. October 9, 2013 I received an email from Andrew with two attached service orders from Larson Audi and Jobs Audi as requested by him September 4th and by me in June.October 21,2013 - I sent an email at Andrews suggestion to request a time to speak with Mr. **, the Barrier Audi Service manager. October 23, 2013 - My husband and I met with Mr. ** in his office on October 23. He acknowledged that there are three known issues with the engine that is in my A4. He detailed the issues. He stated that there were fixes for two of them and he did not know if they had been applied to my car. He also told us that Audi had told the dealers that the extreme oil usage in the car was normal and that oil should just be added every time the light came on. Audi later told them that it was not normal and that there were things that needed to be done to correct the problem. Given these problems, we were told that the engine warranty had been extended to 120,000 miles. This was the first time that anyone had told us about an extended engine warranty.Mr. ** told us that he was not aware that the car was being towed until the two truck driver showed up and asked for the keys. He said that they had no responsibility to notify the registered owner and in fact, we were told that it was not their responsibility to determine the registered owner of the car. This is notwithstanding the fact that we told his Assistant Manager back in June that I was the registered owner of the car. He maintained that Barrier did not have the car picked up. He also told us that Barrier never charges storage fees, nor do they file mechanics liens because they are onerous in the state of Washington. He also maintained that he had no idea about how any additional charges wound up on my credit account. He said that VW Credit must have initiated the car pick up. This is unlikely since VW Credit had no idea that the car was at Barrier Audi until contacted by Barrier Audi and the account was current.I asked him if he would assist us in getting the funds, presumably for the unauthorized work, separated on the credit account. He said that he would try but that he really had no influence with VW credit. I told him that I had still never received a copy of the work order nor an invoice. He said that he would take care of that right away and print it while we were there. He brought it up on his screen, looked at it for a minute and told us that he could not print it because his PC hung. We asked if he would email it and he agreed. He told us that he would contact the local Audi representative to see what could be done and that we would need to supply the work orders. We told him that we would email them which we subsequently did. I also asked if he would provide the detail of how the car came to be towed. We did not receive the work order or invoice.October 29, 2013 - I received a response email from Mr. **. He listed the additional service information that is required by Audi and told us that from now on we were to deal directly with Audi. The work order was not provided, nor was an invoice. October 30, 2013 I responded to his email and asked him again to provide the work order and invoice. I also asked him to provide the detail regarding how the car came to be towed. I received a response from him. It had the work order attached as well as the email that my son sent back in April to ask them to tear down the engine. The only detail provided regarding the vehicle pickup is:While we would have liked to contact you, we did not have any personal information of yours, Peter was our only contact. Because the car had been sitting on our lot for 4 months we found Audi Financial was the legal owner of the vehicle and contacted them. Due to privacy issues, they do not provide us with your personal information. 1 month later Audi Financial paid for and picked up the vehicle. As far as personal possessions that is something you will need to talk with Audi Financial about as they took possession of the vehicle.I contacted VW Credit following this email. According to them, Barrier contacted VW Credit in July about having the car picked up. This was shortly after the offer to buy the car by a service tech was received and ignored. They knew who the registered owner of the car was and made no attempt whatsoever to contact me about the situation. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and asked for the charges to be reversed from the account, reimbursed for the towing charges to bring my car home and the cost of my sons stolen possessions. They continue to say that it is not their problem.

Ive been the owner of several Audi motor cars. I idealize the style and implied quality. I purchased my current car new. 2006 A4 2.0T S-Line. Ive been the only driver. The vehicle has 72K miles and now 10 years old. Its always parked in a garage at home, work and the airport. The point is the car is pristine. I was made aware of a problem that the Audi 2.0T engine was having with certain series of VINs. The years ranges 2005 to 2008. The supplier of the forged metal cam shafts identified a quality defect in the hardening process. There are blogs and details with VIN on the web and some vague messages from Audi confirming the problem and series numbers and warranty extension 10 years or 120k miles. As you might have surmised by now my 2006 A4 2.0T S-Line, broke down on the highway on a Sunday and needed to be towed to my local German Autowerkes shop. Audi was not going to pay for the tow 30 miles away and offered no assurance that the car falls under the extended warranty. I had to get the car repaired and which totaled $5,200. I thought AudiCare would be reasonable and offer some form of assistance. After 2 weeks back and forth with Kimberly a well trained bad news breaker of sorry sucker and thanks for being an Audi customer, she did indicate in guilt that I might have gotten help if I took it to the Audi dealer and pay $2K more. So long story short if you plan on keeping an Audi more than 3 years, dont.

Audi S8 2007 5.2 v8 - I have been having a problem with the coolant level for more than 12 months. Audi maintenance center tried to solve the problems 4 times and the problem keeps coming back. They do not know how to fix the problem. During this annoying and catastrophic experience through the last year, the car was parked for more than 6 months for solving this problem without any results. The body of the car has been scratched from 5 different areas 2 different times. Is this really how Audi deals in maintenance? I have complained to the GM of Audi in Jordan and he invited me for a cup of coffee at his office. I went there, met him, drank the coffee and the maintenance manager was there. They promised me that this problem will be solved, but the problem still exists without any improvement in this dramatic claim. What should I do?

I bought 2010 Audi A4 for my son with 101k mileage, engine broke down at 115k! Called mechanics and they all agree that I need a new/used engine as Audi has an engine that no one wants to open and find what the problem is! All mechanics agreed that Audi’s engine has problems and that Audi USA know about the issue. Bad experience. Never an Audi.

It is safe and others should have it to not be in danger when this is a great car for almost everywhere to drive through such as off roads, some highways, streets in neighborhoods, the roads off at the stores, also the drive thrus. I would say it has a nice appearance and should be recommended for others so they can appreciate the looks of the car and how well it is for people to drive with barely any problems having to be on the car at all.The various upgrade helps it get lighter and to be more safer they add protection inside the car also which is very great for kids, children so they wont have any technical difficulties as the other fast supercars that dont really have any protection inside, within or without it. An Audi helps gets people to places like an average car. The capacity and the weight the car takes on is incredible because it still holds against heavy people such as myself and my other family members who are always entering my car to go to places wherever. For others it would helpful so there would still be a engine functioning.

I leased an Audi Q5 and had an issue with my lease payment and attempted to contact Audi using live chat and was told they could not help with any accounting issues to call the phone number to customer service. When I called I was put in the holding system for about 20 minutes. Got an associate and while he was helping resolve the issue he cut me off. Called back and was put back in the hold system for another 20 mins. Got an associate who took care of one piece of the problem and told me she needed to transfer me to a different department which she did. And guess what, yes put back in the hold system for another 20 minutes. One of the most frustrating customer service experiences EVER!

I have a 2015 Audi A3. I am the only owner of the car. It has 42k. Last week while driving to work, I felt a weird shake, at first I thought I had a flat tire. But I quickly realized that I wasnt that lucky. (insert sad face emoji here). The check engine and EPC (I may have those letters wrong) lights were on. Long story short the car was flatbed towed to the dealership. They gave me a loaner (Q3) and I was on my way. Later that day, they called and said my car had a bad fuel injector. They ordered the part and said my car would be repaired the next day. The next day, I was called and told that while replacing the fuel injector, they discovered that a piston had exploded! They called it a catastrophic engine failure. That is still a little hard to digest. Fortunately, my car is still under warranty. Audi is replacing my whole engine. I own another Audi and I am a fan of the brand. I will comment again when I get my car back, sometime this week. Hopefully, I will be happy.
