I own a 2013 Audi A6. It came with a 4 year 57,000 mile warranty. My car was perfectly maintained. The engine blew up (ring failed, destroying the block). The car had only 39,000 miles. You would think no problem... Wrong. The warranty had expired by 9 months. So Audi wanted to charge me $10,000 for a new motor. I went through the roof. They then offered to pay half if I bought a $3700 extended warranty (a wash), I said, See you in court. I called corporate and they said if I didnt take the offer they would rescind it. A not so subtle threat. They came back and said, half price and no warranty. Reluctantly I agreed. The way I was treated by the dealership and the company, it’s obvious that Audi does not stand by its product. I highly recommend that any consumer stay away from Audi product. Bad company.

I am driving an Audi in Hong Kong. I had some paperwork problems with my car and had to contact Audi to get the needed document. The staff is genuinely uninterested and referred me to a automobile association alleging that only the association can get the document for me. So I called the association who explained patiently that the certificate should be issued by Audi the manufacturer, which makes sense. So I called the dealer in Hong Kong again and that staff gave me the same answer, utterly uninterested, and offered no solution to me at all. I dont expect that the dealer can solve my problem quickly and once and for all but at least they can appear to be more helpful. For Audi which aspires to be a top brand in the world, they should be more careful in engaging local dealers. Some are totally unprofessional and may just ruin their reputation. In my case, I will NEVER buy another Audi (because I am terribly pissed off).

I leased my 2014 Audi A6 in April 2014. In less than 2 years, I have had 7 or 8 flat tires. This last tire went flat within 12 hours of being replaced and after driving 3 miles. Audi is now unwilling to replace the tire. Each tire is very expensive and of course extremely time consuming to have all this repair work. I even have to upgrade my AAA membership because I have had so many service calls.

Very dissatisfied with the amount of rust on my 2006 Audi A3. Its unbelievable. I see many cars on the road many years older that dont have half the rust mine has accumulated. Its over 500 dollars just to buy the metal for the door. No glass, electric... Etc. Its a wonder if the metal was defective. Now I have an airbag recall. My seats as well have cracked and ripped. That started at 75000 miles.

My purchase day was overshadowed by joy of buying a car, failing to see that Audi was not about the purchaser nor providing all 10s service. What has really maddened me today is I get a call I am thinking is a survey of my recent servicing, only to get hung up on, unable to express my concerns due to lack of professional communication. I thought I was saying yes to the rep saying all my information correctly. But after being hung up on, it left me wondering what was the call about. Not even a goodbye, thank you. Audi wants buyers to think they are for satisfaction but they only do things that is necessary just to say they have done it because they dont care if they have met the goal or provided customer satisfaction. I have been battling with them ever since my purchase but my concerns are not what they care to hear. I had to have a second delivery in which even direct, specified, unsatisfactory issues were not even addressed that I had pointed out in a written response. I wish I would have took my business elsewhere. Sometimes I wonder the true value of the whole deal.I wish there was another rep I could make a formal complaint to but I am going to keep long for that. It almost seems as if a $60,000 price means nothing to the dealer about committing to satisfaction. I have had a repair done and the console piece pop right off the next day, which clearly was not attached properly, only to have the same issue serviced again in less than 2 months. I see why people buy BMW and Mercedes. The service is better, the agreement is firm, and you are not judged. They make it known to please give us all 10s on the survey at Greensboro Audi but they are less than 6. I like my car but the way I feel about how they treat me, sometimes I just want to sell it back just to rid myself of the association with Audi.

I have been financed 3 Audi A3s and previously have upgraded and re-financed but when my renewal came up on my 3rd I decided to pay it off & keep the car - I had no confidence in the staff & was not comfortable using them again. This is a shame as in the past theyve always been great - I dont know what theyve changed but now they are atrocious! Sales staff either have no knowledge or are not allowed to work out figures. My appointment to discuss refinance/upgrade options was booked by Audi with a sales rep. but every time we needed a figure he had to go to the manager for 10-15 mins and then come back to us to repeat what the manager had said!! I asked for a monthly figure on a particular car if I didnt pay a deposit & when I said I couldnt afford the figure his response was Its only 20 a month more than you told me you could afford, cant you find that?!!What a disgraceful thing to say to a customer, if he thinks an individual can find it, then surely an international company can work a deal so THEY find it! A few days later I called & asked if they could re-quote if I were able to pay a small deposit (if I sold mine privately and used the sale money to pay deposit), and was given EXACTLY THE SAME MONTHLY PAYMENT FIGURE as when I wasnt paying a deposit!! When I questioned this the salesman blamed me as he said I took the print out of his original quote so he no longer knew what that was!! Overall he showed no interest in looking after an existing customer & getting them to continue doing business with Audi, he had no idea what information he had previously given and left me feeling that I couldnt trust him or Audi as a company. Ive always loved Audis but Im very sad to say that based on this experience I will not use them again.

I have a 2010 A4 which has been perfectly maintained and cared for since purchased brand new from Pfaff Audi, the largest Audi dealer in Canada. At the time of purchase I was considering the S4 model but because of the price difference I was hesitant. One of the salespersons mentioned that Pfaff also have a tuning division that specializes in tuning German cars such as Porsche, BMW and Audi and I could have my car electronically chipped inexpensively and that because they were the Audi dealer the warranty would not be affected.Less than 3 years later with only 85,000 km (approx 52k miles) on the odometer when I took the car in for a regular scheduled maintenance I was informed that there was a broken piston. The dealer was quite sympathetic and acknowledged that they had never encountered this issue with such a relatively new car. They said they would make a request to Audi to defray some of the substantial costs involved in the repair.Audi replied that they would not consider helping in any way because (1) the car was past the warranty (85,400 warranty apparently is until 85,000 km) and (2) the car had been electronically chipped. Notwithstanding the fact that the tuning was done by an authorized Audi dealer and I had been assured that it would not affect in any way the warranty there has never been any suggestion that the tuning could have led to the piston breaking. In communication with Audi they completely disavowed any meaningful relationship or joint responsibility with the dealers claiming that they are independent operators. The fallacy of that assertion is obvious to all but the most credulous. It appears to me that the broken piston in such a new, well maintained car is likely a manufacturing defect. Audi refuse to acknowledge that but do implicitly admit that a broken piston is something that Audi owners may expect with no hint of apology or assistance. Quite the attitude from a so called luxury car maker. In summary I am out $10,000. On the Audi ledger they have lost 3 customers within my immediate family not to mention the scores of business colleagues and friends who are only naturally curious to know why my expensive new car was off the road for 3 weeks for repairs. Incredibly, Audi have managed to turn an Audi aficionado into someone who doesnt have a good word to say about them. All for the sake of a small contribution to my repair costs. At least BMW/Infiniti will be happy.

Im one very disappointed customer in Audi brand and this will haunt me for the rest of my life and I doubt the credibility and integrity of Audi. Customers mean nothing to Audi in my view. My car has been lying in the Audi Polokwane branch for the past 5 months, I gave the dealership authorization to fix the vehicle on the 8th of February and they have never contacted me to give me any update on the progress since then no loan vehicle in the 6 months. Im still paying for the vehicle on a monthly basis and have to make alternative travel arrangements and also save money towards the hefty bill of approximately R67 000 initially R103 000. In all this Audi doesnt care how their loyal client to survive. My service history shows you that I depended on the vehicle because I used to service it on average every 3 months (15 000km). Its my only vehicle. Im struggling to carry on with my daily duties and AUDI JUST DOESNT CARE. To them it seems it was just GOOD RIDDANCE to rubbish when they sold me the vehicle. This A6 is my second Audi but honestly after this treatment I doubt I can ever buy this brand again. Now I doubt everything about the brand from Customer Service/Quality/Integrity/Reliability/the ability of mechanics (I meant why would an overhaul take 4 months, when its new parts) to Durability. A 2.5-year-old vehicle requiring an engine overhaul whilst my family has a 24 yr old Toyota Corolla still going strong, maybe Im comparing apples with bananas, a good strong well-built quality affordable Japanese vehicle with an expensive poor quality German vehicle I dont know.Below is a statement from the Audi South Africa website and honestly to me none of it, is true looking at my situation. e.g. Vehicle has no quality, I mean it essentially requires a new engine at 130 000 km, I get no support, I dont feel respected either. Our relationship is just based on me losing out in many ways. Also I dont think the cars are revolutionary but quick fix to last 2 yrs or less.Audi After Sales - Quality and Prestige - The day you purchase your Audi, you dont just buy a car. You become part of a legacy that is characterised by innovation and beauty, prestige and quality. You begin a relationship founded on mutual respect and admiration that progresses into the bonds we form with you through our valuable services and aftercare support. That is why we dont stop at designing revolutionary cars, we also go on to design outstanding support products specifically created to meet the exacting needs of the discerning Audi customer.Im a very dissatisfied customer and I strongly believe this vehicle had a factory problem though I may not be able to prove it. How can an injector which is part of the fuel system fail without warning? I believe its taking forever to fix (4 months) because it was never assembled properly and I was used to get rid of it, its an engine rebuild at my costs nogal. As I mentioned above, it was just a case of GOOD RIDDANCE. I believe this problem on the vehicle is probably unheard of on this models but Audi just wont admit. Otherwise it could have been sorted in 2 weeks at most. Its a factory fault. This is poor customer service of the highest order. This whole experience has left me traumatized badly. It has also changed how I perceive Audi considering I was such a loyal customer having bought my 1st Audi in 2011 (A4 1.8T).

I bought a brand new 2018 Audi Q5 thinking it as my dream car. It brought such a dismay & disappointment within a few days of buying with lots of problems popping up every day. Problems seen and fixed: 1. There was this squeaking noise from the back: Fixed after two visits and I had show them where the problem was happening. 2. The backlights not working. SUV in the garage currently to address this problem as on 12/06/2017. 3. Window regulator gone bad. Replaced and FIXED it. 4. Auto sense start & stop feature not working if the AC is ON. - Still not fixed as on 12/06/2017. SUV is with the dealers regarding this issue. 5. Numerous minute scratches all over the car the day it was bought. I was so disheartened seeing the scratches. All these complaint were taken to the dealer & The Audi North America too. After explaining the problems the service providers were not able to even figure out the problems. I had to go twice to explain them over & over. The dealers are still trying to figure out the solutions for some issues. I have already visited the dealer at least 6-7 times & right now my car is still in the garage since 2 weeks. The Audi USA are of no help. They took 2 months to respond to my case & said that the dealer would take care of it.And the car is still in the garage as I write this review. My Only question after buying brand new car are: 1. Why should I undergo this mess and waste of time/energy after buying a BRAND NEW CAR. 2. How come AUDI has not done any quality control before delivering the car. 3. How can they deliver a car like this to the customers and then have the customer go over this pain, distress and frustration. 4. Why should I visit dealers again and again to leave the BRAND NEW SUV for repairs after paying full price to buy the vehicle.

I am Disha and I bought an Audi Q7 for Rs. 94 lakhs from Bengaluru, two years and four months back. The reason was its speed as I had to travel to different cities and it was a business requirement too. I bought two more Audis for my business officials and purpose. But my experience with Audi is very bad. The first Audi car of mine is Q7 and it is a little over two years old. I have spent Rs. 45 lakhs on my Q7 already for it to run efficiently. Currently, I gave the Audi for service purposes a month ago and I have still not got it back in spite of me paying the full amount. The excuse is that they are not able to get the automobile parts and its still to reach India from overseas. I now curse myself for my fleet of Audi. I have a Q3 and an A4 too which are also the same and I had spent huge amount of money on them just to keep them running. Along with the performance of the car, high maintenance cost and bad after sales and dealership services I still thought of keeping my cars but I am not able to get my car back after giving it for servicing. So I regret my decision of buying the Audi cars and would not recommend anyone to buy such cars or any of Audi cars at all. My name is Disha and I am an established businesswoman of Bengaluru.

This brand offers a whole assortment of different models. Absolutely everyone needs to purchase one. These cars have very distinct and beautiful features, new models include touch screens and awesome radio, beautiful leather seats, and the engine is wonderful. The car is beautiful on the outside too. There are lots of different upgrades and personalization. Some of the upgrades would include a touch screen, an awesome radio system, upgrade to leather seats and touch screen radio system, upgrades the engine. Also the passenger capacity is awesome, for a sporty car, this thing is just so great. You can fit you and your neighbors family in this thing. You would think that there would not be too much room because of the sportiness but there sure is.

2004 Audi TT - The heat wave we experienced this past summer caused my rear window to separate from the convertible top. I have attempted numerous ways of repairing it. All have failed. Audis solution is an entire new top at $4600. Corporate became involved and Commonwealth Audi offered a 20% discount, which is still not affordable. Mercury Insurance refused to pay for it stating this is normal wear and tear! The car was stored in a garage and the top was used maybe 10 times in a 3 year span. The car cost $28,0000 which was paid in full and is 10 years old. I expected the quality of an Audi to outlast much longer than this. I am now driving it around with a playground ball holding it in place. Most recently its running on hot now and will need repair. It has been one thing after another and I am extremely unhappy with this car and the responses I have received from both my insurance company and Audi.

Audi Financial Services is the weakest link in your organization, and needs
Audi Financial Services is the weakest link in your organization, and needs fixing. First, I explored purchasing my Audi A8L at the end of my lease. The forms were to be mailed to me, but I never received them. Second, I then explored selling the car to CarMax, and received a purchase quote of $54,022 on September 29, good through October 6.Third, on October 1, I asked Audi about a 1-month lease extension, gave my credit card information, but when told of the amount ($2,164.42), I canceled the request at once. Your agent didn’t cancel as I asked. I’m now disputing that amount on my credit card. Fourth, when I tried to sell the car to Carmax on October 5, Audi sent another purchase quote — adding more than $4,270. I refused this exorbitant second quote, as I was within the time parameters of the first quote. After five hours of conversations with Audi agents in three states, Audi agreed to stand by the original purchase quote. During those five hours, however, I was often faced with “waiting for the next available agent” up to 20 minutes, voicemails, and agents who could not make decisions and passed me off to others. I needed one agent who could respond quickly and make a prompt decision. This litany of poor customer service is abysmal and unworthy of Audi.

On the 18th September 2011, I attended their showroom at Audi Centre Sydney and inspected the above vehicle. The following date on the 19th September 2011, I purchased the vehicle from them at a price of $28,000. I was never at any stage offered by the salesperson (George **) to test-drive the vehicle and was only told that Audi Centre Sydney had thoroughly checked the vehicle. After having taken delivery of the vehicle, I immediately noticed the Gearbox of the car had problems. Also, the brake was scratchy when I applied it.Two weeks later, I called Audi to have the vehicle looked at. One of their technicians drove the vehicle and agreed that there was a problem with the gearbox and the brake that would need couple days to rectify the problems. Upon consultations with **, Head of Service Department, my vehicle was booked in for the 14th November 2011 as a loan car became available then.On the 14th November 2011, I was given a loan car but returned it the very next day because the loan car carries a hefty $3,300 accident excess, which I found uncomfortable but on the same day, I was informed to pick up my vehicle as it required a new modified clutch to rectify the problem. However, the new modified clutch would not be available until the New Year 2012 and I was advised to contact him in January 2012.As requested, I made contact with ** in the first week of January 2012 only to be told that the new modified clutch had to be ordered from Germany first. Why wasnt the new modified clutch ordered sometime after the 14th November 2011? **, Head of Service Department informed me that the new modified clutch would be available in Australia by the middle of February 2012. Accordingly, the vehicle was booked in for the 28th of February 2012 to have the works completed to rectify the problem. However, on the 27th of February 2012, I received call from Ryan in the Service Department informing me that the new modified clutch had not yet arrived due to the new modified clutch has not been released yet and so the scheduled time of the 28th February 2012 was cancelled. In addition, they were not certain when the new modified clutch would arrive.I immediately called **, Head of Service Department, and was told that the new modified clutch may not be available until the end of March or early April with no certainty of the delivery date. In addition to this whole saga, I have been offered by **, Head of Sales Department to pay $5,000 for a replacement vehicle which I find totally unacceptable as I would not spend any more money on a product I do not have any confidence in or else wait for the new modified clutch seemingly indefinitely. As we are now in April 2012, nearly seven (7) months after having purchased this vehicle from Audi Centre Sydney at a price of $28,000, the present position is totally unacceptable. Having regarded to the fact it would seem that the vehicle was defective from the time of sale, the only satisfactory outcome to this drawn out frustrating period is that I return the vehicle to them and receive full refund of $28,000 that I paid for this faulty vehicle. If I have not received their immediate response within seven (7) days from this email to my satisfaction, I will lodge the matter with the Consumer, Trader and Tenancy Tribunal under the Motor Vehicle Division for their determination.

Ive been purchasing Audi vehicles for the last fifteen years; primarily A6 Supercharged vehicles. Last March, I traded-in my 2016 A6 Prestige Supercharged for the 2021 A6 Prestige 55. From day one there have been issues. There has been nonstop rattling from the dash. The trunk opens without touching the button on the remote or truck latch door. Other times, when pressing the button on the trunk handle, the trunk wont open at all. I would have to take the key fob out of my pocket and press the button in order for the trunk door to open. That defeats the purpose of having the trunk door button on the trunk. This is another flaw of all 2019 and newer models. Numerous times when closing the trunk, we walk away and the trunk opens again without us touching anything!Same with the doors. Numerous times, we are unable to open the doors by placing our hand behind the door handle when the key fob is in our pocket. We have to take the key fob out of our pocket for the door handle to work. The dash rattle has been addressed numerous times, but never fixed. Its a horrible design flaw. No matter what the dealership attempts, it wont fix the poor design flaw. The bottom screen went out three times since purchasing the vehicle. The first time within two weeks of the purchase. Stay away from Audi vehicles from 2019 to current. Too many design flaws.

I have bought the Audi A4 since 2005. I purchased CPO for the extended warranty. I have had a 2001, great car and a 2006, another really great car. I was ready to update to a 2013. I found the car online and it is a beautiful car. However, I have had about 3 recalls in the two years that I have owned it. At the time I purchased the car, I bought it sight unseen but by online photos. I discovered the following... the spare tire is not regular size tire but a “donut”, dual temperature control is not standard, the Cd changer no longer exists, and 60/40 split folding seats were not available, as well as a push-button parking break which would probably not be of much service if your accelerator gets stuck and you need to shift to neutral to try to stabilize the car. Features that seem to be standard (or just luck on my previous buys) are now optional or obsolete. Wish I had kept my ‘06, looking to trade-down. When did leather seats become leather inserts... ugh... Oh, yes, the turbo diverter valve has a gasket and required a new piston driven diverter valve, the cost for replacement is approx $3500.00, Why has this issue not been a recall since the issue is addressed online when you get the diagnostics code. Shame on you Audi... Sacrificing quality for cheap.

We all know the Takata airbag recall is huge. But some manufacturers are getting it right, and some are not. AUDI IS NOT. They have limited cars affected by the recall compared to other manufacturers, but my car (2012 Q5) is affected. I called Audi several times and they are not offering any option to pay for a rental car or loaner call. I called the dealer too, but they wont do anything unless Audi pays. Audi told me to call the dealer and then the dealer told me to call Audi. I was just bounced around and around with no answers. My husband owns an Acura and the local dealer paid for his rental car for 2 months while he waited for the replacement part (which came this week). Audi is doing nothing, which I find unacceptable. They want the consumer to be stuck with the risk, which I also find unacceptable. All Audi car owners in this situation should put pressure on Audi to take the approach Acura/Honda is taking (and maybe other manufacturers, I am not sure who else). Based on the experience Ive had, I would never buy another Audi.

Audi has cars for everyone. From the college student that wants to spend 30 grand to the corporate executive who wants a R8 Plus to show off at the country club when he golfs with his buddies. These car are really top notch when it comes to appearance. You pull into the parking lot at the bank that you work at and people stop in their tracks to stare at the paint and rims. Amazing technology. No more car phones in the arm rest. This is touch screen goodness. If you want to tint the windows or put on a 68mm turbo these cars are for you. It was an amazing experience driving this car on a daily basis. Fast, luxury and technology all wrapped into one beautiful car. Either youre bringing the kids for ice cream or driving your other girlfriend to a hotel this car fits you and all the equipment youll ever need. Golf clubs, bikes really anything youd ever need.

In January of 2015 I purchased a CPO 2010 A5. Within 6 months I began having serious mechanical difficulties with the car. Although to date all issues have been rectified by the service department, the sales department has been unwilling to make an acceptable deal with me to put me into another vehicle when clearly my vehicle is a lemon. The general manager has never even responded to my attempts to contact him. Since I purchased the car, it has been associated with a recall and a class action suit. It has been in for service no fewer than 6 times, and yet the dealership nor Audi Corporate is willing to work with me. This will certainly be my last dealing with Audi of Huntington, and mostly likely, the last Audi I will own.

Always been an AUDI fanatic. I was finally able to buy my own and now look at the rust. Feeling frustrated now that AUDI does not honor its warranty (I am still under the corrosion warranty). The engine block, subframe and underbody should be coated to resist corrosion, but it is not what looks like - probably a defect in the material, but still Audi does not honor the warranty. I was very excited when I purchased my first Audi which was a brand new 2020 Audi Q3. I had been wanting an Audi for quite some time, however this has by far been the worst car purchase I have ever experienced. I bought this car in June of 2020 and today is 8/13/2020 and today marks the 3rd time I have to drop this brand new car off for servicing. I hadnt even driven the car 500 miles yet before I got an error message stating system malfunction. I shut off the car and restarted it and few minutes later, same error message.Took it for servicing and supposedly they fixed it after a week or so but few days later after driving my vehicle, got the same error message. The second time I took it in, they kept my car for 22 days and replaced the turbo and again while leaving I was told that the issue was resolved. Got my car back and then few days later, I got the same error message. I am beyond dissatisfied with my purchase and this was least expected. I am very turned off and would never ever purchase another Audi and would never recommend an Audi to anyone. I wish I could just return this car. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED WITH AUDI AND SUPER FRUSTRATED.

Purchased 2009 Audi from Jack Daniels Audi in Upper Saddle Rive NJ about 2 years ago. Disrespect and deception seem to be the norm at this dealer, and I was soon to find out with Audi USA also. The car broke down within the first weeks of ownership. I was on my way to IL from NJ when it just died in PA. I called the dealer and they were no help saying call Audi USA. I informed the dealer I need a rental car to get home for work. Long story short, it took NJ consumer affairs action to get reimbursed. The car was eventually picked up, at my expense, and driven to IL. The car burned oil at a rate of 1 qt per 750 miles. Sometimes more. I informed the Audi dealer, they stated all Audis burn oil. It was unimaginable, this is how the car was designed. I was finally told by the dealer that a oil fix was available, and after 3 attempts, they said it was done. On attempt 4 I was told drive 100 miles and bring it back, didnt make 100 miles, and broke down on the side of the road. I was told the timing chain was no good and needed replacement, then I dont hear from the dealer for weeks. Dealer called 2 weeks later, saying rings, pistons and values need replacement, FOR EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION! 2 more weeks and I get a call from Audi USA that they WILL NOT ship the car to me in California. The car is in IL, ruined my familys vacation, and now its stuck there. Audi has even now backed out of their offer to make a deal on a new Audi even though I will NEVER buy another Audi. The car is junk, bad dealers, and horrible customer service.

I have a 2010 Avant 4 Audi wagon that has had persistent, unresolved issues
I have a 2010 Avant 4 Audi wagon that has had persistent, unresolved issues from day one, up to the point that my car, at just 4 years old, is now mechanically failed unless a new engine is put in to the tune of $15,000. I have been meticulous with maintenance on this car. From day 1, oil consumption has been an issue - was told that it was within specs (a quart every 1,000 miles - really?) - until an oil/pressure test was performed, which my car failed. Piston/rings were replaced, which still did not ultimately resolve the issue. Lost complete power in the car while driving a highway speeds (no steering, no brakes, black dashboard - in rush hour traffic) - could have been seriously injured. Towed again to Audi, which many hundred dollars later was told the problem should be resolved, but cant guarantee the repairs. One month later, car shuts down again while driving, with alarms to turn engine off - low oil pressure. AGAIN, towed to Audi - told to replace camshaft bridge and replace oil pump (almost $2,000 MORE) - only to be told that the low oil pressure light continues to come on, and the only recommend now is to replace the engine to the tune of $12,000-$15,000. Which is ridiculous. The KBB street value is nowhere near what has been invested in repairs in this car. I was told We understand your frustration, but the only thing Audi (national) can/will offer is to double the customer loyalty discount IF I buy a NEW Audi from this dealer, and my car has little to no value without the engine. I am without a car, and cant get my car back unless I pay for the $2,000 that didnt resolve the problem. It seems reasonable to me that a car, built on performance and truth in engineering should last longer than 4 years, particularly when properly maintained as mine has been. Further, dependability in a car is an assumed concept that Audi touts in ALL their media. I would further expect BOTH Audi and the dealership to stand behind their cars, but all I get is We understand your frustration, and these issues are no fault of your own, though I have to pay for them. The service department admits that my car has a history of repairs way beyond the normal range for an Audi, but theres nothing they can, or will do. I clearly have a poorly engineered car, that cant be driven, and is virtually worthless. I CANNOT believe Audi (national as well as the dealer) wont stand behind a badly produced car, and rectify a bad situation.

I really liked this car until something bad happened. One of the nice features of the Q7, or most any other high end SUV is the ground radar which helps you park and warns you of objects in the road. This is especially important in a large SUV where you have limited visibility. But this feature did not work on my new 2017 Audi Q7. While parking, I ran over an object that sliced open the oil pan. It looked like someone had taken a knife to a cheap aluminum beer can. I thought how could an SUV have such a cheaply made oil pan? I know one doesnt take a Q7 off-roading every day, but youd think you could do it every once in a while, no?Then more bad news when the Audi shop told me that I had to also replace the oil pump. I was stunned by this as the oil pump is up high and wasnt touched at all in this incident. I have asked and still do not have an adequate response from anyone at Audi. Does one have to replace the oil pump anytime the pan is removed?Next problem was that as I had no idea the oil pan was sliced open, I drove less than a mile back home without any oil in the engine. At first there was the typical light on the dashboard indicating that I should replace the oil. I thought that was strange with a new car but I was almost home so I continued. Then just when I was turning the last corner a larger warning came on to say that I should shut the car off as it was out of oil. Which I did seconds later. But now I am concerned that the motor is damaged and the warranty violated.Anyhow, now I have to pay a couple thousand bucks to get my new Q7 back on the road, not to mention my concern over the health of the engine in the future. I think I should junk the car, but I paid an awful lot of money for it. This whole thing is partially my fault for running over the object, but I really think that Audi oversold the intelligence and robustness of their new Q7.

Purchased 2013 Audi A5 with 2k miles no warranty. Developed a very bad vibration from front end, no damage, changed wheels and tires still no better. Seems that vibration is a common problem with this model, search any Audi forum and you can see for yourself. Replaced minor this and that up to 25k when the engine started making a diesel sound. Mechanic tells me problem; timing chain and tensioner is common with this motor and charges me $2500 to repair. Before assembly shows me where the timing chain has bore a hole in the side of the motor due to faulty part (picture).Notified Audi of America who tells me so sorry to hear that however if you want to take the car to a dealer and have them disassemble (at your own cost) we will look into it... Really? I guess a picture documenting the problem isnt good enough. Replace more this and thats and develop a clicking in the front end from both wheels, another common problem with Audi requiring more mechanical labor... Dont even care at this point, Ill keep the windows up! 45k miles and another light on the dash equals more time in the shop, this time its the Camshaft for some reason, and cant just replace one... Another $4500. They say its difficult to have brand loyalty with Audi? No kidding.Just keep getting slapped in the face from this Audi, no quality and no customer service help. The its a common problem with Audi cars keeps ringing in my ears. I saw a post on an Audi owners site that said something like If you cant afford a couple grand for a repair, youre driving the wrong car. A very true statement! Do yourself a favor and look at a few Audi owners’ websites before making a purchase, youll be glad you did. For me, Im covering this overpriced piece of junk and letting it set before it costs me anymore money to drive. The Audi experience!!

I brought a new Audi A4 in 2013 and it has less than 50K miles on it as of today. Last year in June, the car doesnt accelerate and starts shaking while moving. I had to get it towed to the service shop where and after 3-4 days of tests, they informed me that they would need to fix the engine which would cost anywhere from 5-8K. Given that it was out of warranty, they expected me to bear the costs. It was ridiculous to even think that a premium car like Audi runs into such issues with less than 40K miles (at that time) and that they talk about warranty. It was really shameful and after several calls and discussions, they fixed the issue. However the fear of recurrence has always stayed and I have not been confident to take it for any long drives. And I got it serviced 3-4 months ago (450$ bill) and was praying that it continues to work fine. And again yesterday the car wouldnt start. The EPC lights turn on and again I had to get the car towed to the servicing shop. They now inform me that I should first get the starter plug replaced (845$ - parts and labor) so they can diagnose further as to why the EPC light is on. I dont know what else they are going to come up with tomorrow and the mere thought scares me. So much for a premium car. The car wouldnt even last 50K miles without an issue though I have been getting it serviced on time with Audi service center only. What are my options to pursue further with the Audi care team?

I called corporate to complain and they did nothing about it. I dont recommend you purchase a car from this dealership or an Audi for that matter. They break done easily and their parts are very expensive. If youre going to buy a german car buy a BMW. Its a much better car and their customer service is much better.

Audi offered a decent amount of models to offer the buyer a variety of cars to choose from. It was nice to see different kinds of cars that fit my needs and having the possibility to choose the best fit. They offer an amazing array of features for your new bought car. Additionally, the cars all look great, modern, and sleek. From what I saw their personalization options looked very promising if I ever need to use it in the future. My Audi has 5 seats and that exactly what fits my needs. The other Audi cars that I reviewed before deciding to purchase my current car had different passenger capacities ranging from high to low, just what fits each customers needs. I would definitely recommend Audi cars to my friends and family.

This brand has a fairly wide variety of models. Including Audi A3 Sedan, Audi Q3, Audi A4, Audi A3 Cabriolet and many more exclusive and family cars. The variety of models range from sedan to cabriolet. I had the Audi A3 Cabriolet, it was a beautiful cobalt blue. It had a nice range of features. Mine was a standard wheel drive. The stereo was very nice as well. You can option this beautiful car out to your hearts content. You can add a turbo, choose your color, change stock stereo set and much more. The capacity in my car was good. However, I would imagine a sedan being much more spacious and better for family than my cabriolet. My cabriolet had enough room for myself and my school supplies, however.

I have a new 2016 Audi A6 with an eight year bumper to bumper warranty. The only warranty I did not get was for the exterior paint and leather seats. I am the only driver of this car and no longer have kids at home, so thought I didnt need it. Starting a few months ago the leather front seats began to warp and crinkle. Now the leather on the back seats are beginning to crinkle as well. The first time I took it into Plaza Audi in St. Louis the service department put conditioner on my leather in hopes it would fix the defect. Clearly it did not. The second time, the new manager said clearly theres something wrong and hed reach out to his Audi rep to determine how to get this repaired and he snapped a couple photos. Somehow Brad **, Audis Midwest Rep has declared that my seats defects are due to outside influence. He cant say what that outside influence is or why fine leather seats buckled and crinkled on their new car. I was told my only remedy is Audi Customer Experience. After weeks of an investigation Joanna at Audi Customer Experience told me that no one in their department is a technician so they have to rely on what their Audi rep tells them. So, WHY is there a department that can essentially do nothing but repeat what their rep has told them? I took my car to another Audi service department. Experts there agreed I could not have caused this damage and theyd get back to me in a couple days. Ah ha, but because Brad ** has already made a ruling on my car, NO OTHER AUDI SERVICE DEPARTMENT can question his ruling. Then I contacted corporate communications. Just got another callback. Good grief, corporate communications circled me BACK to Audi Customer Experience who only repeated to me exactly what Brad **s original ruling! Ronald ** at Audi Customer Experience repeated again that Audi blames ME for the manufacturers defect on my leather seats. He would not let me tape the conversation. Ronald ** refused to give me the name of his boss. He says hes speaking for Audi worldwide and no one can help. I can pay for the new leather seats and Plaza Audi will kindly install them for free. I feel like Im playing a board game that keeps sending me back to the same place with every move. Any suggestions?

My 2010 A4 consumed oil from the moment I bought it used at 63,000 miles. It used 1 qt every 1000 miles and according to Audi thats normal. Using their math and Mobil 1 I would never have to change oil as I would have added 10 qts before it was time to change the original 5 qts in the pan. Audi said they fixed the car before I bought it but will not release the service records from the servicing dealer in Florida or from Audi of America. How can you comply with Class Action Settlement if you cant have access to the records. What are they hiding? Never mind, the car broke an engine valve at 101,000 miles, just after my extended warranty expired. Been round and round with Audi Customer No-Care, the Audi Customer Experience they call it. More like a nightmare. After providing all my mileage logs and records, service records and all the receipts from the auto stores from adding oil they say it is with Customer Retention and Resolution. I have filed complaints with several state attorneys general, the EPA and safercar.gov. Next will be letters to the Wall Street Journal, Car & Driver, Road & Track and Consumer Reports. We have to stand up to their arrogance and disregard for US Laws and our rights as owners and consumers. I cant afford a $7,000 repair and still make payments on a car I cant drive.

I financed a 2006 A4 Used from Douglas Motors in Summit. In less than two weeks, the headlights keep flickering off. They change one and didnt change the other. While it was still under warranty, I decide to buy the second headlight and have it changed by my personal mechanic ( I also took pictures). I went back to the dealership because the engine light came on. To my surprise, they took a diagnostic from a Volvo and try to pass if off as my Audi, telling me to pay $700 and something dollars for a repair that doesnt belong to my car. I went to my personal mechanic plus Audi to verify. Audi told me they only deal with P codes, whatever that meant. So I ask for a copy of my original diagnostic, they said its wrong and not company policy to disclose the paper work. Right now, my oil pump failed at 64000 miles, and I bought the car 53000 miles. The dealership never change batteries, Ive changed it since I got it. I changed tires. Please, I need help on what to do with this lemon car that Im financing.

Audi has reinvented itself by being the first to present the bolder grill style now seen in all brands. Current models appeal to both young and old buyers in a way few brands can. Their models tend to be less sleek and more assertive than competitors. Ultimately, their lineup portrays conservatism with a understated power and style buyers want. Audi is excellent in personalization under the hood and in performance enhancements. Most models are available in trim packages that include significant improvement for power, handling, ride control and braking. Their interiors are currently without equal and need little to no upgrades. Their technology options are current but not overly cutting edge.Depending upon the category of vehicle Audi general is average to above average in passenger capacity. Passenger comfort is more of a hallmark than capacity. They have everything you could want except hybrids. Audi has class leading small, medium and large cars. They have competitive SUVs and trendiest sport models. They are only rivaled by Mercedes for variety in performance models and upgraded trim packages.

Ive had nothing but problems with my Audi S6 since I bought it. Dealer just replaced 2 leaking high-pressure fuel pumps and 5 fuel injectors a couple weeks ago. I was driving home after I got it back and smelt gas but didnt really think much of it at the time and thought it may have been something I was driving past. The next morning when I was letting the car warm up and getting my kids ready for school, I noticed the gas smell again and saw the car spewing gas from the engine. Car was towed to the dealer and they said it was a fuel injector failure. Called Audi of America and they basically said sorry for your issues, but just deal with them; we dont care about you or your kids, in short. This car is unsafe and Id just like to warn everyone of this failure and the way AUDI responds to the problems. The car was running with no warning that fuel was spewing from the engine! Hows that for engineering? If only someone drove by and threw a cigarette butt, or I drove the car and the leaking gas ignited. This is now 2 fuels leaks; one right after the dealer fixed the other. Oh, let me also mention that the AUDI dealer had my car for 4-months to fix the first fuel leak! They were arguing with me that it was a bad battery in the car. It was only after some techs were sent in from another AUDI dealer that they discovered the fuel issues.

You can get leather seats and customize the cabin to have various options such as extra features in the entertainment system. You can have four to five people inside. I bought an Audi 3 in July 2010. After only a few months, I already noticed a problem with the oil. There was always a red warning light. After referring the problem to Germany, they replaced all the piston rings and engine gasket. They have also replaced the battery, and recently, the ignition switch, because the car would not start after several attempts. It was very embarrassing to have an Audi, which only over a year old, to be towed because it wont start. With all these abnormal malfunctions in a 16 month old car, it is obviously a lemon. Of course, the car dealer would not admit that it is defective. I am demanding a replacement, but they refused. I was informed that the 2-year warranty covers only parts and service, but not replacement . It is totally disappointing to have a car that claims to have high end technology, but would not start! Is there no manufacturers warranty from Audi? I no longer want to use a car that can compromise my safety!

Ive been the owner of several Audi motor cars. I idealize the style and implied quality. I purchased my current car new. 2006 A4 2.0T S-Line. Ive been the only driver. The vehicle has 72K miles and now 10 years old. Its always parked in a garage at home, work and the airport. The point is the car is pristine. I was made aware of a problem that the Audi 2.0T engine was having with certain series of VINs. The years ranges 2005 to 2008. The supplier of the forged metal cam shafts identified a quality defect in the hardening process. There are blogs and details with VIN on the web and some vague messages from Audi confirming the problem and series numbers and warranty extension 10 years or 120k miles. As you might have surmised by now my 2006 A4 2.0T S-Line, broke down on the highway on a Sunday and needed to be towed to my local German Autowerkes shop. Audi was not going to pay for the tow 30 miles away and offered no assurance that the car falls under the extended warranty. I had to get the car repaired and which totaled $5,200. I thought AudiCare would be reasonable and offer some form of assistance. After 2 weeks back and forth with Kimberly a well trained bad news breaker of sorry sucker and thanks for being an Audi customer, she did indicate in guilt that I might have gotten help if I took it to the Audi dealer and pay $2K more. So long story short if you plan on keeping an Audi more than 3 years, dont.

Audi A4- an 8 year, 97,000 mile, disposable car. I purchased a CPO 2010 Audi A4 in 2013 with low mileage from Tom Williams Audi in Birmingham Alabama. Since purchase, I have always had it serviced at Jack Ingram Audi in Montgomery, Alabama. Since owning it I have had two major engine issues and the last one has caused it to be a throw away car. Immediately upon purchase, with about 22,000 miles the car was burning a lot of oil and after continual visits to Audi for over a year, they informed me of the excessive oil consumption recall and it did not pass the excessive oil consumption test. Under warranty, the car underwent the #2 engine rebuild around 2014-2015 at about 35,000 miles. After that repair, everything seemed fine until October 2018, when the car began shaking and the engine light went on. I brought it to Audi and they said it was a fouled spark plug. However, 30 days later, with 97,000 miles, the car began shaking again but this time the engine light came on and was flashing and the car would not drive. I had it flat-bedded to Audi, where I was told there is an extended timing chain/tensioner warranty, so not to worry. Audi paid to replace the timing chain/tensioner but I was told I needed a valve job for 4100.00, because of damage to the engine when the timing chain failed. I was told because of a pending class action lawsuit that Audi would pay on a sliding scale which would be 25% for my year and mileage. That would leave $3400.00 cost to me for a car with a $4000.00 trade in value. Although being shocked about all this, I approved the work because I was not in a position to buy a new car, especially with $0 trade in money. However, I get another call today, telling me that there is more bad news, that at least two of the pistons had bent and there is something possibly cracked and I need a long block (ie new engine) for $11,000 of which Audi will pay 25% to repair due to the class action timing chain litigation. It makes no financial sense to spend $8250.00 (75% of the 11,000) for a car with a 4000 value. However, if I dont repair it, Audi owes me 0 for the total loss of my car that was working fine until the timing chain failed. So at 8 years and 97,000 miles, this Audi A4, luxury car is a throw away car. Audi should have had to cover the engine damage caused by the faulty chain. This is the lions share of the repair cost. I feel Audi should owe me the full trade in value of the car because it broke as a result of the timing chain which they admit was faulty. Audi customer service was curt and told me to file with the class action suit when I asked if they would consider paying anything additional (this was several days before the fairness hearing was held on December 12). I would never advise anyone buy an Audi after this experience.

My 2010 Audis soft top started to leak this summer. It had just gone out of warranty. A top should not fail so soon for an expensive car like this. The best Audi will do is sell me the top at half off (only $2,000 plus labor). They are unwilling to stand behind their product and replace the top that obviously was poorly made. This will be my last Audi.

I bought a used 2005 A4 convertible (Cabriolet 1.8T) with 48K miles on it. It now has 58K miles on it, and the TCM part on the transmission is faulty. I hear that this problem is common, yet Audi has yet to admit to their mistake. I doubt that I will be purchasing another Audi in my lifetime.

I have a new 2019 Audi Q5, Prestige trim level, that comes with Active Lane Assist that will steer the car to the center of the road if you accidentally go over the line. There is an accompanying control that issues a loud DING and dash warning if the car thinks you are driving without hands on the wheel. The problem is that on straight roads, with hands on the wheel, I get frequent false alerts. Audi has implemented this by detecting if no input is sensed on the wheel for 15 seconds, it assumes no hands on the wheel and issues the alert. Driving me crazy! Dont buy this trim level. Waste of money and Audi just says the car is working to specifications, though other of their cars do not do this.

I had proof that a change order had gone through but was told I had to take the vehicle which I had been quite excited about. The Manager was also out so I contacted the dealership the next day. To no avail. I got in touch with Audi in Michigan where they have a special unit Called Flagship since my car the A8L is considered Audis Flagship vehicle. I sent them all the information including a copy of the verified change order. I wanted them to change the wood or vehicle. If you ever consider buying a used Audi make sure it has an extended warranty for as long as you plan on owning it!!! They break down often and when they do it will cost you a fortune to fix!! You will get sucked in thinking, Ok Ill fix this problem then I should be ok, then next month another issue and it happens every month, and it is major money every time!!! Last one I owned was an A6 with 70,000 miles, car book value is around $10,000 they want $6500 to repair a mechatronic, car will not shift out of park when its cold, no way to bypass it, and they dont even have the part!!! I leased an A3 clean diesel from Audi Coral Springs in April of 2013 with the intention to buy if the car performed as well as the salesperson assured me it would. I was looking for a high performing car with significantly reduced emissions. I considered the Audi diesel, hybrids and electric cars. I chose a model that would no longer be available in the US (A3 clean diesel hatchback). There were only a handful available in the country and one of them was at Audi Coral Springs. Because I was set on this car and there were so few, I had no bargaining power and paid an enormous premium for the car. The leasing process itself was torture. The dealership had one printer and it wasnt working so the entire transaction took more than 4 hours. When the diesel emission fraud became public, I contacted the dealership and Audi USA. I was told over and over that the emission fraud was no big deal and that Audi owed me nothing. Basically I was told that Audi is handling this and that no one in the company could deal with my complaint. Audi has decided kill its brand and ensure that its customers go elsewhere. As for Audi Coral Springs... the personnel at the dealership were down right rude. I returned the car at the end of the lease only to be told that I had to sign a document that if anything happened to the car while in the hands of the dealer (the only place I could return it), I would be legally responsible for the damage. The document stated that I was required to maintain auto insurance on the vehicle until it was in the hands of the manufacturer which would take weeks to months. Ripped off a third time by Audi Coral Springs. I asked how I would know when to release the insurance and I was told not to worry about it. Needless to say, given Audis horrible, horrible customer service and casual attitude about defrauding the public, I will never drive an Audi again. I now have a Lexus hybrid and the experiences could not have been more different. One star for this dealership is really one too many.

There was a recall on oil consumption on my 2011 Audi Q5. I took it to the dealership to have them check and repair, as soon as I got the information. I did this every time the oil light went on. They put in oil, reported back that all was well. Then, at time before this last one, ran a test, said to come back in 1,000 miles. This last time, the oil light went on and I went to service. They ran tests, now Audi says that I need a complete piston job at 77,804 miles. This is a modern car, how is it I should need a engine rebuilt at these miles. If there were really problems with this model, it should be Audi that fixes the car. Why would anyone want to buy an Audi with this kind of engine and the inability to fix their cars.

Beware if you are an Audi owner. I love their cars but their customer service sucks! I have had the same part on my vehicle replaced every year for 6 years. No one could find out the problem so I assumed they would just keep doing this. Wrong! If you have ANY repair service done, even at the dealership, make sure you call up Audi Customer Service and get a Case ID number. The repair on your vehicle, even through a dealership, is NOT accessible to anyone else. In other words, unless you call up Audi every time you have an issue they will not accept that it even occurred. Receipts dont help.My dealership was repairing the part out of what they call goodwill. What is that? I thought they were repairing it because of a design or part flaw on their part. It should be expected to be replaced. I shouldnt have to be grateful they fixed my car! This last time the repair lasted a year and a half so the warranty on the vehicle and that part is over. Its only $1100 to fix a door seal! Maybe because they should last the life of the vehicle.

My Audi experience has been a nightmare. My wife and I bought a 2011 Q5 on April 4, 2011. When the car had 28000 miles on it, the low oil light came on. We were told it was from a defective hood latch, which the dealer replaced. The light came on again in several thousand miles and we were told this time it was a pressure regulating valve, which was replaced. The light came on a third time and we were told an oil consumption test needed to be initiated. I know its hard to believe, but the oil light came on a 4th time. Day Audi of Monroeville advised me that VW/Audi had a known defect with their 2.0 turbo engines and I would need the pistons and rings replaced in the vehicle. First they needed to send the oil consumption results to the Audi Corporation and get the work approved. Audi advised the dealer that my Audi, which only has 40,000 miles on it, was consuming a normal amount of oil, and no further repairs were needed. The dealer advised the oil light would continue top come on, just bring it in and get it topped off when it does. They also offered to buy my vehicle back at a lowball auction price. Audi is a joke of a corporation that could care less about their customers. I would never recommend a Volkswagen or Audi to anyone as a result of being treated in this manner.

I have a 2015 Audi A5, with 26400 miles on it. I purchased the car with 11,000 miles on it in April. I began experiencing a LOUD brake squeaking 2 weeks ago. It squeaks when I lightly apply the brakes. The service department at Audi told me that the brake pads only had 10% wear so its Not the Pads. They then told me that I would need to drive about 60 mph or FASTER, then apply the brakes... I am NOT going to try this dangerous and potentially deadly act.I think that there is a design issue that must be addressed. I have owned probably 12 cars in my life and NEVER has this happened with no answer. The lemon law in Illinois is quite clear and I actually received a new car because of this law. I am sure there are other owners that has the same issues... We must start writing to Audi and people who can help... This must get resolved. Im ready to drive the car to the dealer and leave it there until its resolved. I know that this is a non warranty issue but there is an obvious defect.

These vehicles tend to be extremely visually pleasing, stylish and sleek. These are usually futuristic looking and quite stunning to see. And these vehicles tend to be quite accommodating to multiple passengers with the exception of the spot models. They usually have great leg and head room. Great size for families or large people. And there is a fair amount of variety and selection. I do feel they are highly overpriced when it comes to maintaining the vehicle. They can be reliable but when they break parts can cost more than the vehicle itself. Custom wheels, custom sound systems, custom paint and custom interior options. Also custom accessory packages. These custom features tend to increase the price dramatically.

The shiny sleek exterior is reflective upon my money spent. The cost of buying this car is rather high and the look should appear to be classy as well. I thought it was great that this car had a variety of customizations and personalizations that fit my needs and wants. I believe that they met every standard I had set. I went and bought a used B7 RS4 recently - 2007. I have owned multiple Audis over the years and this one takes the cake. I also took mine to Molle Audi in Kansas only to be told that they dont know how to handle RS4. First they said that clutch hose is bad - charged $500 and changed it. Problem persisted so I reported it back to them. Then they charged $900 to change slave cylinder. Problem persisted so I reported it back to them. Their manager said they would have to take transmission apart. I said if I wanted someone to randomly test whats broken, then I would have taken it to someone other than Audi dealership - back road shops.Cons: Very over-hyped. Yes they are amazing. But not when you have to spend serious amounts of money at each maintenance interval - belts, axles, brakes, transmission and engine mounts. Yes, there is a sensor in engine mounts. Get ready to spend some serious dinero. Carbon cleaning has to be done every 20k miles. This is not a Ferrari or Audi R8 or Aventador where I should have to take my car into maintenance for $800 every 20k miles. Of course, gaskets, manifold arm flaps and many other items come into play at the same time. This is a rare car. So dealerships never carry parts for it. If you need anything, it always has to be ordered leaving your car useless for days at the dealership. Even if they overnight it, it still takes too long. Not many can work on it. I took my car to two dealerships (Audi) and they told me bluntly that this is not an everyday car and they would have to consult with someone in Germany. I almost lost my footing. For a car with 420 HP, it sure isnt as fast as cars with 420 HP. An S4 with few bolt-ons becomes just as fast as this - I tested this at a 3.5 mile grand prix track. And they are half the cost. No A4 or S4 will give you a rush like this, but this thing requires constant maintenance where A4/S4 dont. Shoot me but I said it and I owned S4 before this. This is my third Audi and fourth German in the house. MRC shocks go bad and then you have to pay arm and a leg for it. Stock clutch has a problem. Look up transmission clutch issues on B7 RS4. Stock LUK clutch/flywheel combo goes bad after x number of miles based on driving patterns. Lads, this is a 8,200 RPM beast. Why did Audi screw up by using cheap parts? So if you are looking to buy a B7 RS4, make sure it will shift gears above 7,500 rpm from 2nd to 3rd and so on. Also, due to this issue, many RS4s are plagued with Transmission synchro issues - another $1,000 just in parts. Needless to say, resale value already isnt good. Add maintenance headaches to that. My car was in dealership garage more than it was in my own garage. Quattro system is great and has saved many lives. However, it is nothing close to Attesa on Nissan/Infiniti or the AWD system that Mercedes or what Land Rover has. In short, its nothing out of the ordinary. Look up car reviews and be the judge yourself.

Yes. Hello! I purchased an Audi 5 Quattro in August. Recently, I was ready to turn my vehicle on when I was terrified by a loud banging on the glass. I screamed, thinking someone was trying to break into the car. I called Audis national line, and was told that they knew of no such incidents. I called my dealer, who said it had had a couple of like reports, but no breakage. The dealer just called back to say it would need the car through the weekend to loosen and lower the moon roof, as that was Audis international fix, and, indeed, breakage has occurred on some vehicles. I love my car, but I am very concerned, as I bought the car, specifically, to safely transport my granddaughter. Should I be assured by the fix? Will it compromise my vehicle? Where is Audis recall? This is an Australian review of a sale conducted in Australia and this matter is due to be hear at a tribunal hearing later this month, but thought I would share my experience as l am sure, well l am certain it happens by default to many others. Purchased the 2013 Q5, fully optioned for around $90K AUD, as a tempter to buy from this dealer, they gave me the Audi Corporate Package - (3 years free service and invitations to corporate events, race days, family days etc.). Noticed in the first 3 months when I went out on long drives, the Sat Nav was giving out inaccurate road directions, wrong time estimates for arrival, in some cases up to 2 - 3 hours difference. On a highway that a bypass built some 4 years ago, when I was on that bypass, it didn’t exist on my maps, according to the Sat Nav on was driving on farmland, but clearly I wasn’t - it was obvious the Sat Nav had software that was many years old. When I went to book my first service - I was told that the first service was going to cost me $1000 (this was some 9 months after I purchased the car), I said NO I get free servicing for 3 years, he said NO, I can’t see anything, so you have to pay, so I showed him my Audi corporate card and then he says, oh yes okay, it’s free. I tell him that the Sat Nav needs an upgrade because it’s so old - he says, that will cost $800 - I tell him the car is brand new when I purchased it - in fact it wasn’t even on the lot, l was waiting for it to arrive from Germany, that’s how new the car was - he said, it’s a spare part and so you have to pay $800.I speak to the sales guy who sold me the car - he sympathizes, says he will see what he can do, but invariably the expectation is the consumer needs to pay - I never hear back from him. I call the General Manager of the dealer and he bluntly states, it’s a part you have to pay for it - that they sold the car as is from the manufacturer. So I call Audi Australia and they say it has nothing to do with them, that the sale was between myself and the dealer and I have to take it back there.I call Australian consumer affairs, they send out an officer and he negotiates a compromise that I pay 50% of the retail price of the upgrade - I refuse. Matter is before a tribunal hearing later this month. I call Audi Australia and say in 11 months, I have never been invited to any Audi event, any family day, race day, corporate function, yet it was part of the purchase price of the car and influenced where the car was purchased from. Audi Australia calls back - oh yes we see we didn’t do that, well we will make you a priority for the next event. To this day, priority has not equated to definite, nor have I been told what event, or when it’s at - nor by virtue of the fact that I hold a valid corporate Audi pack, that I should be invited to attend that event anyway so nothing was been offer to compensation the last 11 months - so now the hearing will be on 2 counts. I am told by Audi, that Audi upgrade their software on the Sat Nav every 4 years and I purchased my car on the 24th of December 2013, and the global upgrade happened on the 14th of Jan 2014, so it was just bad luck for me.One of the many claims is that a product was sold that was not fit for purpose and the selling a car as is, doesn’t apply to a new car, it needs to be fit for purpose and the reasonable intention of purpose. I would never of thought a company like Audi would conduct itself in the manner above, I am quite appalled and hence the litigation - this issues themselves aren’t big issues, but the conduct of both the dealer and the corporate company are appalling and rely on the fact that over here, people may think it’s too expensive or not worth the time to take them on - well game on Audi! Having said that, the Q5 is a fantastic car, one of the best I have ever had, but will never buy another one again!

Did you know that Audi has a monopoly on their key fob programming? Me neither. And, this mistake cost me almost $2000 and left me without a car for over three weeks. I admit that I didnt have a back-up key. Initially, I hired a Locksmith recommended on Audi USAs website. He was able to get in the car, setting off the alarm system, but was unable to program the key fob. I then towed the car to the dealer using an Audi recommended roadside assistance towing company. They blamed the Locksmith, that is recommended on their website, for breaking the comfort module. The Audi dealer and Audi Customer Care acted like they were concerned, they werent. Instead, they pointed fingers at me for seeking out and using an independent Locksmith, that was recommended on their website. The lesson learned is never, ever buy an Audi - unless you enjoy throwing money away, wasting hours of your time, and being without a car for over three weeks over a minor mistake.

A few weeks after I was sold a car from TNT Auto Sales in Lugoff, I started having issues with the car. The car was not holding water and would overheat numerous times throughout the day. I took it back to the dealer to have it checked and I was told to wait and they couldnt do anything. I was told not to leave the car on the lot as well so I had to keep driving it. I called, texted, and went to the dealer almost everyday or every other day about the car. Nothing was done and finally the car broke down on me and will not crank or anything anymore. I told the dealer what happened. Nothing was still done. I didnt even get to make my second car payment before the car broke down on me. Now, I am stuck with a car that I just purchased that is not drivable and a car payment still. I bought an Audi A4 2010 model. It was great at first. Then, after a week, my power window got stuck. Since then, there are a lot of problems coming from the car. Sounds came from the front right tire that even your service center could not detect, engine jerking, all four tires nearly burst as the service and maintenance did not have my car checked properly during my car service time, and a lot more. All I’m doing now is keep on spending on the maintenance. And the service center here in Glenmarie, Malaysia always makes me wait and don’t always solve the problem. What are you selling, Audi? Is it your car technology that you said is better than the rest or are you selling your parts and services? Does buying an Audi means that I have to spend more on maintaining or I don’t have to worry about anything? Now, the lock sensor does not work. Please do something, Audi, as I am getting fed up with your brand! To me, Audi did not deliver whatever they promised in their advertisement. That’s the worst lie towards consumer.

My story is very similar to the one from Denise, Chatham, NJ. I therefore will not repeat all the problems I had with my Audi A4 2009. This is the short form. I owned 5 Audis. I have always been an avid fan. I purchased my latest A4 new in 2009. The car turned out to have one problem after another. In 2013, at 55,000 miles I brought the A4 to the Audi dealer gain. Flow Motor in Greensboro, NC. I told them that the oil consumption is way too high. (I have done so at all previous service visits.)Well in front of other customers I was told in a lengthy lecture that I was wrong. Topping of oil is quite normal, I was told. In fact I was treated like and idiot and so embarrassed that I dropped the subject. Instead of addressing my concern about the oil consumption the technician told me that I need a new manifold, new water pump and other items which were not covered by the warranty. Later I found out about the class action lawsuit and the fact that a lot of Audi owners had the same problem with excessive oil consumption. Brought the A4 back to have this oil leak fixed according to the class action lawsuit. Guess what? Now the technician thinks the oil is consumed by the turbo and this has to be fixed first, for about $ 2500 before he can work on the other oil leak. This just does not sound right. Again, I reported high oil consumption already in 2013, but was told this is normal. Now it is not normal anymore and a $ 2500 cost to me. My oil consumption was always the same from the first year to now about a quart per 400 miles. I do not trust the dealer nor the car anymore. My only desire is to get rid of it as fast as I can.

I then asked for them to send me a duplicate title. After a long wait she said they could do that for $25 and it would take 4-6 weeks. Which is amazing since they never sent the title, I never missed a payment, and I was eager to go to the local Audi dealer to finance the purchase of a 2017 A4 Prestige. Thats not going to happen. I loved my A4 but Im not going to pay Audi Finance for the privilege of being treated like garbage. The BMW 330ix looks pretty nice...

Audi has a wide variety of models from 2-door sedans all the way to SUVs. The cars are sleek and eye-catching with a very modern look. The dealer can do an upgrade for a price depending on what you want, they have a lot of options. The 2016 Audi Q3 2.0T Premium Plus SUV is my favorite. It looks awesome and can fit 5 people.

The vehicle has never missed a service and yet it has had issues since the very first week it was purchased new from Audi Centre Perth in May 2010 for just over $100,000.00. See the History of excess oil consumption which is ongoing, gearbox malfunction at 62,000km, and now the catastrophic engine failure at 102,000km, due to the faulty timing chain tensioner. The most disappointing thing of all is that once you actually begin to investigate these issues it is very clear to see that Audi were well aware of these issues all along. In fact, only after legal action in the USA, they agreed to rectify these issues at no cost to owners. The oil issue is covered for an extended 8 years or 88,000 miles for 3 options of rectification, and the engine failure due to the faulty timing chain tensioner is covered for 10 years or 100,000 miles with a replacement of the engine. However by far the worst part that I find completely outrageous is the fact that there was a recall in the USA of all vehicles with this engine type to replace the faulty Timing Chain tensioner due to the significant number of engines having to be replaced, yet Audi Australia failed to even advise owners of the high probability of a catastrophic engine failure. The lack of disclosure to Australian owners denied them and me the option of even paying for a replacement tensioner, at a much smaller cost, and prevent what appears to be the inevitable engine failure and the significant cost to rectify that. The exact situation that I find myself in now.The failure of Audi Australia and the Audi Service Centre to inform me at any stage that there was a known defect in the timing chain tensioner, and advise me that it would be wise to replace it at a small cost now, rather than be left with an enormous unexpected cost down the track. The cost is one thing however the absolute inconvenience of the vehicle being off the road for 3 weeks now, combined with having to hire a car and not being offered a loan car after 3 weeks, is also unacceptable.

I purchased a 2021 Audi RS6 from the dealer then found horrible paint and body defects on the entire vehicle days later. Audi USA would not respond to my attempts at contacting them until I called them out on Social Media. Apparently, that’s the only way to get anyone to respond. Even still, I was told by Audi to “trust the dealer and their attempt to make it better.” So I did and it is even more so ruined. Audi has not offered any customer service when purchasing a vehicle of this caliber and price point. Severely disappointed.

I traded my Mercedes for a gorgeous brand new 2012 Audi A8 L. My nightmares
I traded my Mercedes for a gorgeous brand new 2012 Audi A8 L. My nightmares with Mercedes pushed me away from ever buying another Mercedes product. But the nightmares have returned. 3,700 miles EGV failure. Audi came and towed it to the dealer. Parts had to be ordered from Germany. 5 days, 10 days, 14 days of waiting. Wrong parts arrived. After pushing them to pull one out from another A8 in inventory they finally agreed. In the meantime, I was offered to drive a new Infiniti M series from another dealer because all of the 15 Audi loaners were out. I didnt miss my A8 much because the Infiniti was amazing (note to self...).4,500 miles and the navigation screen wouldnt rise from dash because of a motor failure. 3 days of downtime. 7,000 miles - My dash lit up like Christmas lights due to a mysterious computer glitch. Towed again. 2 days of downtime. Mechanics couldnt find cause. 10,500 miles - Trunk doesnt open due to a motor issue. 1 day of downtime. 14,000 miles - Right side Hella made headlamp housing needed replacement due to moisture build-up. This happened on my Mercedes too at 22,000 miles. I have never experienced any problems with Koito or Ichikoh headlamps. 1 day of downtime. 16,000 miles and its Christmas lights again. All lit up and no engine. Towed again. A sensor was replaced after 2 days. 18,200 miles - HVAC failure. Aluminum die cast compressor clutch cracked and needed replacement. Since then a slightly noticeable noise when operating. It used to be dead quiet. Dealer disagrees... 19,000 miles - Super annoying rattling and humming coming from passenger side door. Loose component found in window regulator. Simple fix.I guess this is a common situation with Audi quality and reliability. For a price inching near $105K, I expected a high quality product. I was wrong. My decision to ignore all the consumer review agencies was indeed a stupid thing to do. All of the repairs were done under warranty. The time without my A8 due to quality issues is ridiculous. The headaches of going back and forth to the dealer is unacceptable. Its the very last Audi I will ever own. Colleagues and friends never have issues with their Lexus/Toyota, Infiniti/Nissan, and other Japanese makes. My 2007 4Runner with 77,000 miles had absolutely ZERO problems. My 2010 997 had a few issues but nothing near my Audi. My brothers Acura TL has had zero issues. Ive decided to get rid of my A8 this month. Im going for the Lexus LS F Sport. It may be a bit boring compared to the Audi, but Im tired of wondering whats going to breakdown today! I am convinced the Germans should rely on Japanese suppliers for electronics! The Germans have the greatest ideas but theyre poorly executed...

I recently leased a 2021 Audi Q5 Sportback and after riding it for a couple of hours I noticed that the engine makes a whistling noise at low RPM (around 1500) when accelerating. This is loud enough that you can easily hear it on highways. Moreover, the turbo makes a loud hissing noise whenever I accelerate. I also test drove 3 more Q5s and they all made the same noises (both whistling at low RMP and high hissing noise). So, I took it to the dealership to exit out of my lease and they said since this issue is happening on all the cars there’s no easy way to get out of the lease and they can buy back the car and the sum of money out of my pocket was 11,000 dollars. So, I called Audi USA and they said they cannot do anything with lease termination and there was basically no way for me to get out of the lease without losing too much money. They suggested I should take it to my local service to thoroughly diagnose this and I did. They gave me a report that quotes: Customer states at low rpm there is a whistling sound coming from the engine. Customer went on test with shop Foreman previously. Technician performed road test and confirmed whistling noise. Technician scanned vehicle and found no faults or DTC pertaining to engine bay. Tech was able to test drive identical model to compare and found noise is normal and from wastegate opening high speed/ low RPM under load. Vehicle is operating as designed. So basically, the engine of a $61K German made car makes different types of noises, and they call it operating as designed and there is no good solution that I was given by neither the dealership nor Audi USA. So, if you are sensitive to random engine noise (this is by far different from cool sporty engine sounds) Id steer away from Q5. This is my first lease from Audi and will never come back.

Audi A4 Quattro 2009 - I just bought my car 4 months ago and it has 60,000 miles on it. I noticed excessive oil consumption problems. Just had the oil change 1 month ago, have driven it 000 miles and have added 1 quart of oil. Took it in to the Audi dealership in Boise, ID and they have suggested a new crankcase pressure regulating valve and a software update, which will cost me $250 if I fix it. If the dealership fixes $500 in just labor costs alone. This is first step to the problem. If this doesnt solve the problem, then I have to get the cylinders replaced, which they estimate a $5,000 repair. This car is a joke! I will never buy another Audi again, and hopefully, the company will realize the issues and fix the problems. How can you pay $40,000 for a car and the engine goes out at 60,000 miles. Sticking with a Lexus for sure!

We bought a CPO 2011 Q5 from a dealer in Chicago. As we were driving it home to Ohio, I noticed that one headlight was brighter than the other. Long story short, it turns out that it had been in an accident. The dealer refused to let us return it, or have it fixed at their cost. My dream car turned into my worst nightmare. Audi customer service is by far and away the worst I have ever dealt with. On top of that my car guzzles oil (about a quart every 300 miles or so), and Im still living the nightmare of trying to have it fixed under the pending lawsuit against Audi. I would NEVER buy another Audi again.

I drive a 2012 Audi A6 SuperCharged. A few days ago I received a recall for fuel pump change, in that I called the nearest Audi dealership to make an appointment for the change on 01/26/2017. In the process of the change I decided to have an oil change. At the dealership everyone was very nice and took care of me within the process of the service and assured me that the fuel pump and the oil change has been taken care of and paid 140.27 dollars for the oil change. The biggest part me going to the dealership was because of the recall for the fuel pump because of the letter I received a few days ago. This morning 01/27/2017, after my daily routine coming home the car engine suddenly turned off. The worst part of this was that I was traveling on a highway, Palisades Parkway to be exact. On the dashboard of the car there were no indication of something wrong. The fuel gauge was indicated as that the car had fuel in the car. Not thinking about the amount of fuel that is in the car, I thought that there was something wrong with the engine itself. Thinking back from yesterdays service, the service was for the fuel pump recall. Thinking that it couldnt be fuel because I just came out of the service for this problem, but to be sure I called a friend to bring some gas to put in the car. Sure enough after adding fuel into the car the car started and I was able to drive to the nearest gas station to fill up.In all, this complaint is for the service at the Audi Town Motors of Englewood NJ where they specialize in Audi. Having trusted that an Audi dealership would know how to service an Audi car, was the worst mistake of my life. Driving a car in the highway, all of the sudden losing an engine and feeling a life or death situation was something that I wanted to share. Cars flying by me trying desperately to move the car to a safe place to park was something that no one should experience. I would like to formally put a complaint to the Audi Town Motors of Englwood NJ at 400 South Dean St Englewood NJ 07631. For the life or death situation I was in and amount of time I had to suffer for the mistakes that the Audi made, in a recall that Audi of America formally gave out to all of the Audi owners.

My 5 year old Audi A5 with 54,000 miles needs a new engine due to Audi having fitted a faulty cam shaft adjuster and faulty piston rings. I was getting 200 miles to a litre of oil and the top of the engine being starved of oil due to the faulty cam shaft adjuster. My cars worth £11000 approx. The engine replacement is almost £12000. Having contacted customer services who said theyll try and help with the costs and have now said they wont. The dealer has managed to reduce the cost to £10,250. Im convinced its due to the above mentioned fault recall code 15d6. Im told you cant determine when that engine was made to clarify this. I just thought Id be shown a bit more goodwill as the cars only 5 years old.

Bought this car brand new. I only had one issue during the 120K miles on it. Audi replaced the water pump at a oil change visit and then gave me extended coverage at no charge. (What Auto company does that?) The brakes do need to be replaced about every 25-30k miles. Routine maintenance is not terribly expensive. The car I replaced this car with is a Porsche Macan. I love the drive of the Macan but routine maintenance is very expensive. Spark plugs at 30K. Drain transmission at 40K. Plan on at least 1K per visit. The Audi was very dependable and a great car. My wife bought a 2018 S5 Sportback that is so much fun to drive. This is a great car company and look forward to visiting their manufacturing plant in Germany!!

Purchased my car in 2012 with 45,000 miles on it. Immediately it started burning through a quart of oil every 5 weeks or so. I complained to the dealership. They said it was normal. I complained again. They said it was normal. I complained again. They said it was normal. I had to burrow myself so far up their ** for them to take a look at the car. They performed an oil consumption test which it failed. They said I had to replace the engine. Thankfully, I was 475 miles under the warranty expiration. From that point forward the car never worked properly. An ignition coil change, 3 issues regarding misfiring, repair work for several diagnostic codes. All in, on top of my $450 month payment & $6k deposit, I spent about an additional $10k repairing the car.Additionally Audi USA covered another $10k worth of work. Thats $20,000 worth of repair work over 4 years. A $1,000 bill every 10 weeks. At 130,000 miles I pulled into a parking lot, car was running fine (after a $1,300 repair bill the week before). I got out of the car and realized I forgot to grab something at another store. I immediately got back into the car and pushed the key in the ignition. It didnt start. Needed to have the car towed. The dealer tells me they have to rebuild the entire engine again.Audi USA called and left a message yesterday (Ive been without a car for 3 weeks now and had a loaner for all of 4 days) that the case has gone to the highest level and there is nothing they will do about it. They said if I have any questions I can call the case handlers direct number. Seems that direct number goes directly to a voicemail void that never gets checked because my phone calls have yet to be returned. Looking at the number of issues and similar complaints all over the web I am baffled that Audi refuses to take responsibility for their poor design and the numerous faults that continue to occur on this engine model.

The garage was supposed to call me back tonight just after 6:00 but guess what, the lad who answered didnt seem capable of taking my phone number down after twice telling him what it was. What is the point of paying premium prices for a so called premium car when all you get is back street garage services? Cant see my family buying from these again. (Five cars in all.) I have recently learned that the terms and conditions that I agreed to are in fact not what the contract that I signed represents. I am also very upset to learn that the market value that I was guaranteed was in fact false and was grossly overstated by at least $13,000. Even more so, I am upset by the fact that after consistently being assured and led to believe that a lease contract was far better to do instead of purchasing because I was getting a much better deal, this also has now been found to be false, and that the actual purchase price of the vehicle is an estimated $7,000 to $8,000 more than what I agreed, not to mention the fees that I paid upfront that were added back into the remaining amount due.I am bothered by the fact that Ashley with Audi Financial Services stated that she would have never agreed to sign a contract like the one that I was led to sign by the misrepresentation of facts. She also stated that the amount that was calculated for my 2010 A5 was more than what the normal payment should be. In referring to my contract and the terms, she stated that she had never seen one like this before. Jim, the manager at Audi Financial Services, stated that my true intent to purchase the car instead of leasing was evident by the fact that I made a down payment of $26,124.00. He also stated that he wished that there was something that he could do, but that his hands were tied. He advised me to contact Audi USA and/or the dealership to address modifying the contract terms and purchase price based on the information that had surfaced. Since the dealership has shown that deceptive and misleading actions were conducted in order to have me agree, I contacted Audi USA.Since then, I have been working with a representative named Rob. While he is nice and very apologetic, I feel that my efforts to work in good faith are potentially one-sided. This conclusion is based on my last conversation with Rob, in which I welcomed him to please pull the recorded conversations between Ashley, Jim, and myself to verify that Audi Financial Services agreed that my contract was written to be unfair to me. He stated that he did not think that it was possible for him to. He also stated that he would try to see what, if anything, could be done to modify my contract. I advised him that since my decision to enter into a contract with Audi of Columbia was based on misleading, false, and/or undisclosed information, if I would have been made aware of the true nature, costs, and terms of the contract, I would have never agreed to sign.Based on todays fair market value, Audi USA has been paid in full, but instead, I am being informed that I, in fact, owe an estimated $23,000 more, not including interest and finance charges. I am now being placed in a situation with Audi where I am being forced up against the wall to either agree to the grossly-inflated price, or watch Audi take possession of a car that is technically paid for due to the fact that my contract ends on 06/13/13.
