Powertrain & Performance.
Audi markets the 2025 Q3 primarily with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 engine in the 45 TFSI variant. This engine produces 228 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard quattro all-wheel drive, delivering a 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) acceleration time of around 7.4 seconds.

Earlier base-level versions, like the 40 TFSI, used to offer 184 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque, but this trim appears phased out in the 2025 lineup.

Fuel Efficiency.
The 45 TFSI model rates around 23 mpg combined (20 city / 28 highway).

Size & Practicality.
You get a compact luxury SUV footprint—about 176.6 inches long, 72.8 inches wide, and a 105.5-inch wheelbase—all contributing to nimble handling in urban settings. Cargo space is approximately 23.7 cubic feet behind the rear seats and expands to about 48.0 cubic feet when folded.

Interior & Technology.
The cabin is well-appointed with Audi’s MMI infotainment, available virtual cockpit digital gauge cluster, and modern touches like LED lighting packages on select trims. Premium options include Bang & Olufsen audio, wireless charging, and a panoramic sunroof.

Safety & Driver Assistance.
Audi’s safety suite includes core features like Audi pre sense, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

Price Points.
In the U.S., the 45 TFSI Quattro starts near US$39,800. Canadian pricing tends to be higher based on past model trends—usually landing in the mid-$40,000 CAD range for comparable trims. The Premium 40 TFSI model, which may remain available in some markets, started around US$38,700.

Summary — What Stands Out (No Table, Just Highlights).

Luxury and value: Positioned as an accessible entry into premium Audi ownership with rich materials and strong tech offerings.

Performance: Swift yet smooth thanks to a robust turbocharged engine and quattro AWD.

Efficient and functional: Decent fuel economy for its class and respectable cargo capacity for everyday use.

Modern interior: Digital instruments and optional premium amenities elevate the cabin experience.

Competitive pricing: Attractive starting points for a luxury subcompact, especially in the U.S.

Bottom line: The 2025 Audi Q3 is an ideal choice if you want a compact luxury SUV with sharp looks, solid performance, modern tech, and AWD capability—all without reaching Q5 price territory. While ride comfort might not top its class, its agility and premium ambiance make it a compelling urban SUV.

I love the variety and theres so much more variety than other makes. It is so enjoyable and I have owned two different ones. It is a very attractive and sexy vehicle. People ask me all the time Where did you find such a beautiful car. Or they say your car is so beautiful. The upgrade is even more beautiful and the only reason why I havent upgraded is because I am so attached to the one I have now. But as far as upgrades, I have so many to choose from and each one is lovely. The car is also very spacious. Myself, my husband, and my three children all fit and we have taken it on family vacation and everyone is comfortable throughout the entire ride.

I had the flaps replaced twice on my 2008 Audi TT Roadster, and just yesterday, the convertible top would not close. Therefore, I am going to have to replace the flap motor again. In addition, the rear driver side light keeps going out, and just yesterday, the check engine light just came on. I love the car but handle all the problems related to the 2008 Audi TT.

In March 2014, I had a problem with my Audi A3 2009 plate. I took it to my local garage and they managed to get it repaired at a cost of about 2 Thousand Pounds. The problem concerned the gear box short circuiting. Three months later, Audi sent me a letter requesting to change the gear box oil to mineral oil as there is a common fault found within Audis because the original oil could cause a short circuit and burn the unit; which is what happened to my car. I requested compensation but Audi refused because I had not taken it to an Audi garage, as I didnt know that I had to. Moreover, I believe that Audi was supposed to be a very reliable car. Unfortunately, I was wrong and will never buy an Audi again.

I am the owner of a 2009 Audi 1.8t of which clutch failed on 86000 km. After I complain about the clutch at Audi Paarl, they convince me that there was nothing wrong with the clutch. I drove from Worcester to George in the middle of the night and the clutch failed completely. The car is still under motor plan but Audi in George dont want pay the damage because, according to them, the car is not standard and the cars suspension is modified. Audi Paarl and Audi George differs from each other. The bill is R29000.00. Can someone help with advice?

My year 2010 Audi A4 2.0 TFSI Quattro has started to burn excessive oil due to a design/manufacturing fault. Local dealer in Turkey, Audi Turkey (Dogus Otomotiv) is not responsive with my issue since it is a design problem so should take the manufacturers responsibility. Finally I had to have my cars engine rebuilt by paying 4500 USD to one of the official service point in Ankara, Turkey, last week. Now I am so disappointed about my Audi car and the local dealer of it (and also Audi AG, Germany). Therefore I have started a protesting campaign to make them hear my and thousands of desperate Turkish customers voices. Please send your supports and help me with this campaign to succeed and maybe to change this frustrating situation, causing a huge dissatisfaction and disappointment about the brand AUDI in Turkey.P.S.: You can investigate and check the general look, image/reputation of Audi Turkey/Dogus Otomotiv which is also the local dealer of Volkswagen cars in Turkey especially about their customer satisfaction levels that I believe you also recognize it is very low level. Thanks for your supports and helps. Those may help solving our customer satisfaction problems with our local dealer!

I would love to share my THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Of buying the car! I bought a new AUDI Q3 2018 from Audi North Miami Beach! A month ago! I always wanted Audi and was focused on that model for a long time before. So finally I collected my last funds and went to the Dealership! First and foremost from the minute I came to the dealership my experience was completely disappointed! First of all the personnel are non-educated and absolutely lost in knowing their product at all! But the most horrible was that in 3 weeks after buying the car I went to pick up my registration sticker to the Dealer. I parked my brand new car Q3 in the parking spot of the Dealer. In 15 minutes after when I came picked it up and got back to the car I was sooo negative surprised that my amazing brand new car was crashed! Right on the Audi parking spot! Of course I was claimed that fact... They tried to cover that fact! I was remembering that and the next day after I called Dealership and let them know that my car was crushed on their territory! Manager was completely indifferent of helping me to solve that issue! He was aggressive and try to defend himself. Now that car will be in the Carfax! And not by my fault at all! I hope I can prevent many people. Do not have any BUSINESS with awful!!! Dealership in the world ever! I would NEVER EVER!!! RECOMMEND NO ONE TO BUY THE CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! BE AWARE PEOPLE!

There are so many Audi models like A3 R8 Q7 Cabriolet A5 TY SS, so many letter number variations to please the most picky buyer. The different letter number combinations each have distinct factors. I love the Roadster! It is so sporty and sleek with so many extras and small touches that make it distinct. The appearance rivals that of the most opulent cars. You can upgrade by package and any type of upgrade and personalization is available. You have the power to build your perfect car! I got mine fully loaded and was extremely happy with the package. The extras made the entire experience of owning and driving the car a most pleasant one. The car looks mid size to small but fits passengers very comfortably with tons of head and leg room. There is also plenty of storage space.

I purchased a 2016 CPO Audi from Audi of Naples. There was no mention of a “DEDUCTIBLE” every time you need to use the CPO warranty. I was given no paperwork as to the fact there is a deductible on the CPO warranty. I just took my vehicle in as the air conditioner was not cooling. Since it was 2,000 miles past factory warranty the CPO warranty was applied. I asked if there would be any charge and was told that there would not be a charge as it was all covered under CPO. I was even called the next day and told that the good news was everything was covered by the CPO and I would owe nothing. When I went to pick up the car I was presented a bill for $85.00. I was told there was no charge for the warranty work but they were required to collect an $85 deductible for Audi. I argued with them and finally had to pay it to get my car released. I filed a complaint with Audi and after a week and a half they just called and said there was nothing they could do and I would be responsible for the $85 deductible every time it needed warranty work. I would never even consider buying another Audi and will be glad to warn others. I have owned many Mercedes Benz and have never had an issue with their CPO. Looks like trying an Audi for the first time ended up being a bad deal.

Purchased 2013 Audi A5 with 2k miles no warranty. Developed a very bad vibration from front end, no damage, changed wheels and tires still no better. Seems that vibration is a common problem with this model, search any Audi forum and you can see for yourself. Replaced minor this and that up to 25k when the engine started making a diesel sound. Mechanic tells me problem; timing chain and tensioner is common with this motor and charges me $2500 to repair. Before assembly shows me where the timing chain has bore a hole in the side of the motor due to faulty part (picture).Notified Audi of America who tells me so sorry to hear that however if you want to take the car to a dealer and have them disassemble (at your own cost) we will look into it... Really? I guess a picture documenting the problem isnt good enough. Replace more this and thats and develop a clicking in the front end from both wheels, another common problem with Audi requiring more mechanical labor... Dont even care at this point, Ill keep the windows up! 45k miles and another light on the dash equals more time in the shop, this time its the Camshaft for some reason, and cant just replace one... Another $4500. They say its difficult to have brand loyalty with Audi? No kidding.Just keep getting slapped in the face from this Audi, no quality and no customer service help. The its a common problem with Audi cars keeps ringing in my ears. I saw a post on an Audi owners site that said something like If you cant afford a couple grand for a repair, youre driving the wrong car. A very true statement! Do yourself a favor and look at a few Audi owners’ websites before making a purchase, youll be glad you did. For me, Im covering this overpriced piece of junk and letting it set before it costs me anymore money to drive. The Audi experience!!

I had an Audi Q5 and it had navigation moon roof, all wheel drive, fast. It had heated seats and I loved the car. It also had 20 inch wheels and was silver and black in the inside. The rugs were all weather and it was great in the snow. It had the S line which is a faster model and better options on the inside of the vehicle. I would of liked it in white but they did not have it. But it fit about 7 people good. 2 in the front and 4 in the back. My kids loved this vehicle. It drove everyone around perfect. It was comfortable. This vehicle I recommend to anyone. My family purchased one.

My name is Dimitri **. I leased a brand new 2010 Audi A5 from Prestige Audi of North Miami beach. With my lease, I was told to bring my car to them every time its time for service. The car said its time for a service so I made an appointment to drop it off. They called me and told me it was ready, so I went to pick it up. I took it home. When I get in to my car, I always approach the driver side. Well one day, I backed the car in and the next morning, I approached from the passenger side and I noticed there was damage to my passenger front wheel.Well, it was dented in multiple places and bowed out at the top of the wheel well plus paint damage. So I said to myself, I didnt do it, maybe I got hit but let me take it to Audi to see what theyll say. So I went there to speak with Fernando **. I told him the situation and he said let me see it and Ill tell you if we did it here. His exact quote was, Ive been working on this lot for 9 years and I know what kind of damage this lot can do and that damage was done here. He told me that where they keep the cars after they service them, is enclosed by a fence and they covered that fence with a white cloth so people cant see in and steal or vandalize the cars. And as one of the porters was parking my car, he didnt notice that a pole was also covered by the white cloth and he pulled it up as far as he could and while doing that, he hit my car damaging the front end. So they damaged the car on their lot. I have that in writing that the car was damaged on their lot while being serviced. So he was very nice in the beginning and said to bring it and they will fix it. I dropped it off on August 8 to be repaired and they said it would take four days. Two weeks later, after no phone call, I called them and it just so happened to be ready. I was like, great, Im coming to get it. I got there and I looked to see if they repaired the car correctly. As I was looking it over, I noticed that the headlight on the damaged side was sticking out more than the other side and there was still a few marks on the bumper. So I told them and they said they would fix it. Another week went by. They call and told me that if I dont bring back the loaned car they gave to me while my car was being fixed, they will charge me. So I brought the car back like they asked. When I got there, I inspected it again and I noticed that the hood of my car was extending over grill of the car. I can stick my fingers under the hood when the hood should be closed. I told them to bring another A5 to compare and u can tell there was a difference. I have pictures and videos of all the damage. If needed. I am paying more than 600 dollars a month for my lease and I take care of the car like its my baby. I leave it with them and they damaged the car. The car will never be the same once its gone to the body shop. It will never be the same and has lost value of my car. If someone checks the car, they can tell there were repairs done. I called them and asked them whats going to happen now. They said that they will do nothing to resolve this matter. Thats why Im writing you to see what I can do as Im only one person dealing with a huge company who doesnt care about the customers. Why should I keep paying the same payment when my car is not new anymore? I would understand if I did the damage, but I didnt. They damaged my car and dont care because theyre not paying for it. The manager called me today and told me to bring the car back and get my car and stop nitpicking. Is it nitpicking or do I just want what I deserve my car (in perfect condition, just like I had it when it rolled of the assembly line)? I dont know who can help me with this situation but I would love for you to help me or point me in the right direction because they dont listen to anything I say. They are trying to take advantage of me because Im young and I am a nice person. But enough is enough (plus I paid for this month and I wasnt even able to drive my car at all, so I paid for nothing).

Variety is great. The vehicle has hands on compatibility and an amazing stereo system stock inside with bass functions of a custom audio input system. Music is great for me and I loved that about the Vehicle. You cant go wrong with a classy, luxurious look. The vehicle has these looks plus the modernization of newer vehicles. The capabilities within its representation actually complements the vehicles abilities very well. I literally never see small cars with a lot of room but the Audi is made for small vehicle, great gas but holds more passengers than most cars and is about equal to an SUV passenger. Upgrading is Automatic. It also works very well for the car. I personally believe that if you want your dream car and get it drive until it Falls completely apart with this vehicle you would be driving for Eternity. They need to distribute a new vehicle call Audi Eternity.

Back in 2017, car had EPC light illuminated, would lose power while driving, would idle roughly and then not turn on. Had it towed to Audi Honolulu. Found electrical wiring burning through to the gas tank (couldve blown up) and so they replaced the gas tank and the wiring at their goodwill more like to save a lawsuit. Anyways April 2019 now, same issues with EPC light, idling and losing power then it not turning it on. Got it towed to Audi El Paso. Apparently, cylinder 1 and 2 in the engine are at 0 psi compression and we need a new engine.Mind you every service has been done at an Audi dealership and its only got 60,000 miles on it. Told they wont be covering any costs and told by Henry at Audi El Paso he wont even provide a loaner vehicle unless we agree to pay $10-13k for a new engine. What a joke. My thing is why wasnt this issue found in 2017 when the car had the exact same issues? Its their job to fix the car right. I am going to be taking my claim further until I get results. Googling the same car and I see so many people with the same issues. When will Audi take customers seriously? Makes you wonder how many Audis are a safety hazard driving around and could blow up any second. My families safety comes first and it should come first for Audi too.

I bought an A4 a year and a half ago used but in incredible condition. Now for my confusing part. The car starts to idle rough, push the turn off button and keeps running for a few seconds. The engine light appears the next day. Ran code and came up timing. I then read it been quite the problem it seems. People having catastrophic engine failure at worst. I then see Audi has been sued.I contact the lawyer firm representing the plaintiffs (on the tensioner failure) and was sent a form because my Audi was one of the models affected. Was told as long as I bring it to an authorized Audi dealership it would be covered 100% and if brought to an independent repair shop $1500 would be covered. Well I called the only dealer near me 50 miles away and was told, Yes we are aware of the extended warranty and yes Audi will cover it. Okay great!!! Had the car flat bedded there. Got a call they received my car. Great then a service advisor called and said it would be a few days to a week to repair. I was told it a 10 hour job. I said okay. Then a few days later I called back because I had a question. The service advisor told me, I was just about to write you an email. I have some bad news. Audi will only cover 25% of the repair and need maintenance records. What!!!! What happened to you know all about the extended warranty and look forward to seeing your car. I said as far as the maintenance records they are all listed on Carfax. Was told they cant use that. (Why? Extended warranty companies use them along with Edmunds.) I dont know. Like I said Im confused completely. Its been over a week and havent heard a word back from anyone. I will say for the record the employees I did talk to were very polite but polite doesnt answer why I havent heard back about the status.

It was horrible. This was my first time buying a used car and it turned out to be the worst experience of my life so far, with all the headaches, confusion, lies and scummy dealers and dealerships. On June 1, 2010, I purchased (financed) a 2005 Audi A6 with 58,000 miles. The car was treated and maintained, as told. By the end of January, I experienced almost a near death accident while on my way home driving the car. It began to shake out of control. The steering wheel locked up and the brakes locked up. I was scared for my life so I pulled the emergency brake. And before I hit the car parked to the right of me, the whole car shut off completely and wouldnt start. I thought I needed a jumper but that wasnt the answer so I had the car towed to the nearest parking space until Audi of Manhattan opened for business the next morning.I paid for the car to be towed there where they diagnosed that my 6-month old investment’s engine failed and seized up. I got the estimate of repairs from the dealership. They told me it would cost a whopping $6,000 for a new motor and about $3,000 for the repair work from Audi. I was sad to hear the news but was confused, alongside with the service team, at why a motor with 64,000 miles would seize if there was nothing wrong and the car was treated like a charm.I finally got enough money, after a few months of parking garages and receiving tickets for my car being unable to move, to pay for the repair. I spent $3,999 on a motor and about $1,000 on repair work.Im writing as an innocent consumer who faced an evil and crooked dealership without the knowledge of what they were capable of doing. And thats ruining innocent consumers like me life and pockets as we know it. I was stuck with a car that was unable to move, let alone start, so I can drive. Paul ** offered no assistance. Audi of America was no help either. Thats why Im turning to this consumer help and small claims court to seek the justice I deserve and stop the crooked dealers out there from destroying another consumer’s hard work and earned money.

When I took it to the Audi service shop, they blatantly lied to me after doing a service and check, and said nothing was wrong and perhaps I should buy a new sensor. I kept going back and kept getting the same spiel. Anyways the car engine has died and they are quoting me 10k to rebuild the motor. The Audi has a lot of different models and they range from the more affordable A3, to the luxury R8. Theres something for everyone whether they need a sedan, SUV, or sports car. The smallest sedan (A3) still comfortably fits five people and the luxury sedans are very spacious and the SUVs even more. The R8 is pretty spacious even for it being a sports car. Audis also have a very sleek and beautiful design. Lights can make or break a car, and Audi lights are very nice. The shape of the car is very recognizable and distinct. They have a lot of different upgrades to choose from too. You can personalize the color of the exterior and interior, upgrade your radio, camera, GPS, etc.

Bought a certified pre-owned 2009 Audi A4 Quattro 2.0 in December 2010 and within two weeks the oil light came on. Brought it back for service, thought it was a simple oversight and that it had been fixed. Little did we know then how that yellow check oil light would come to dominate our lives, limit our use and enjoyment of the car, and empty our wallets. Within the first three years we had the car serviced so many times for excessive oil consumption that we finally took to the internet and found we werent the only ones with this issue. After 43,000 miles and countless service visits, we demanded that Audi rectify the problem and (because the car was still under warranty), they replaced the pistons and rings at no cost.Fast forward two years to December 2015, and, at 91,000 miles (just outside of warranty, of course) an ominous turn off engine immediately and check oil warning appeared on the dashboard. Brought the car in for service right away and found that the engine had a leaking intake manifold. Dealer replaced manifold at cost of $1K. One week later, check engine light went on. Brought the car back to Audi and this time, the water pump needed replacing (another $1K). A few days later, that ominous turn off engine immediately and check oil warning appeared again. Brought the car back YET AGAIN. Service department informed us that they had found metal shavings in the engine pan, indicating that engine parts were grating and the engine was compromised. They told us that we needed an entirely new engine, at a cost of almost $11,000!! We were livid. Dealer went to Audi North America and they offered to pay for half. Now we are stuck with a dead car and the prospect of having to pay another $5300 (for a total of $7300 since December) to make what is now a lemon drivable. We believe that Audi should take full ownership of this, as they replaced the pistons and rings on an engine that they knew was faulty. And, we are left wondering if the replacement of the intake manifold parts somehow compromised the engine, resulting in the engine failure (the timing of the engine failure was just a bit too coincidental). We bought this car for what we thought was exceptional Audi performance, reliability and service. Its unbelievable to see here how many others have suffered the same substandard customer service for what is clearly an inferior, shoddily manufactured car. Perhaps theres another class action suit against Audi- this time for engine failure- waiting to be brought to light. My hope is that by writing this, others will steer clear of all Audi cars, both new and used. Maybe once Audis bottom line is affected, theyll start paying more attention to quality control and the real people who drive their cars.

Car has 20k miles. It has had key fob unrecognized, have to walk away, come back, it works. Ive had engine shut off on highway due to overheating (thank God I was next to the shoulder lane). My check brake light indicator comes, lights up on the dash, brake lights however work fine. Dealer so far has added antifreeze (it wasnt low to begin with - just above min) cant find problem with light, would have to tear car down. Then I was rear ended at stop light, 8k in repair done by Audi, car now vibrates. Took it to sunny side Audi bodyshop, they sent me to Sunnyside Audi dealer in middleburg OH, (place of purchase/service) and they try to sell me tires and balance after saying nothing wrong with car alignment. Cant guarantee me that it will fix the problem. I did NOT have a vibration problem before being rear ended.I called Audi America, they sent me back to dealer to try to work something out. My tires have PLENTY of tread left as I used winter tires for at least 8k miles of the 20k. Just a horrible experience with the car, with the service, with the repair work of Audi manufacturing, sunny side Audi service, sunny side Audi collision center. Ive owned Honda, Toyota, Ford and Acura, not had any problems. Acura replaced a 600.00 part under warranty. It failed 2 years later after extended warranty expired and they fixed it again, free of charge under good faith. Audi should learn from this. Im going back to Acura. Im not unreasonable. I offered to pay for tires if indeed it takes care of problem. If it doesnt they should. As I said it 100% did not shake/vibrate before accident. The other electrical issues I just deal with until lease end.

I bought 2010 Audi A4 for my son with 101k mileage, engine broke down at 115k! Called mechanics and they all agree that I need a new/used engine as Audi has an engine that no one wants to open and find what the problem is! All mechanics agreed that Audi’s engine has problems and that Audi USA know about the issue. Bad experience. Never an Audi.

I bought my 2016 Audi Q5 in air day weekend of 2016 and Ive had 3 separate issues and now 3 recalls in the car within a matter of 9 months. 30 days in my sunroof started to rattle so bad it sounded like the glass was going to fall out. Take it to have it fixed and issues with getting a courtesy vehicle. I got a small A3 which is not comparable to a Q5... Just pointing out the obvious! Also they werent very thrilled about giving me a car even though that was used a sales tactic because that was one of the things I liked about their service and having a luxury SUV! They had to take out the sunroof and put something around the whole thing so it doesnt rattle. Issue was fixed and hasnt come back.Came back in probably 2 months after that when other random rattle sounds started to pop up. One in the back trunk area and one by the dash. Again did not want to give me a courtesy vehicle and again I had to insist. Im a mother of a small child, that time is precious to me and Im not sitting in a dealership with a small kid, no thanks! Trunk issues resolved, front they couldnt figure out and I hear from time to time. Now the final one is my window makes a high pitch screeching sound when I roll it down. Seems to happen in hotter weather. This is getting looked at this week and the 2 out of 3 recalls! This car has been plagued with problems and not the safe luxury SUV I spent $50,000 on to keep me and my daughter safe! Im so disappointed and disgusted with Audi and how Ive been treated. This is not the service or car I expected from them at all!! I called Audi America today and was told they couldnt buy my car back because it had recalls! Really? Why do you think I want to see it back to you, Audi??? Im not safe in this malfunctioning car you sold me!!! And now you dont want it back? SHOCKER! As for the dealership, they can care less and are so rude it blows my mind! Huge mistake buying an Audi! Shouldve stuck with Infiniti!

I bought this car new in 2007 - A6. Today 80,000 miles basically 10,000 miles year, always took care of it like diamond service in time never speed, during this last 8 years I tried always find the best in the car and ignore the worst like when you love something you look only qualities. But the true is this car sucks. Today was raining. I went for lunch and for my surprise when I open the door a lake inside my car. Thats it - taking this to a Mercedes dealership. Get any money I can for it and moving to a Mercedes or something else. Audi is full of marketing but far from perfection. A car that can hold the rain is not a car.

Audi Midtown Toronto (Agincourt Autohaus). I have a regular service (odometer 118364) at Audi Midtown Toronto on Sept 01, 2011 and mentioned there is a vibration at front wheel during acceleration (all season tire). After service, the technician told me that should be the tire problem and charged $21+tax. On Sept 29, 2011, I rescheduled for service of vibration at front wheel because it still happened (change to snow tire). After service, the technician told me he didnt feel anything and charged $31.50+tax. On Oct 11, 2011, I rescheduled service again of vibration at front wheel because it still happened and the technician told me he didnt feel anything. Maybe the floor mat? On Nov 29, 2011, it brought up the same problem again. This time the foreman told me the same store didnt feel anything, it may be the floor mat. On Dec 13, 2011, it brought up the same problem again and I drove to show the foreman whats going on and told him not the tire or floor mat problem. At the time, the foreman felt the vibration at front wheel during acceleration and rescheduled on Dec 16, 2011 for check up again. After check up, he told me he didnt feel anything. It may be the floor mat? So I have to bring this problem to Audi Uptown on Dec 20, 2011 and schedule service on Jan 06, 2011. Finally, they found out the drive shaft problem and told me its under warranty. After job was done, suddenly they told me that this part is not under warranty. They did it before (on Feb 02, 2011 and Mar 03, 2011) and I needed to pay for parts and labor of $982.5 +tax. I told them this case and brought up on Sept 01, 2011 at Audi Midtown Toronto (Agincourt Autohaus) and I will talk to them should it be under warranty period. On Jan 9, 2011, I met up with Audi Midtown Toronto (Agincourt Autohaus) the service manager, Rolf ***. He told me that from the past two times, if CV boot is broken that can cause. This happened on May 13, 2010 and Sept 01, 2011. What? Same side broken twice in 2 years. What kind of material are your parts using? (Because still in warranty period odometer 118364 Sept 01, 2011) Is that easy to damage the drive shaft even the CV boot broken? I pay almost $50k for Audi. Why are the parts (CV boot, drive shaft and even the engine) easily broken? I should post this case to public and let people know about my case. It is below todays requirement and service standard. I am very disappointed because of Audi Midtown Torontos (Agincourt Autohaus) mistake (in five times visit. I have all service date and time in my email). The drive shaft can be replaced under warranty. The other thing was the wrong CV boot (left side) was broken two times (May 13, 2010 and Sept 01, 2011. It looks like its very easily broken) and why they didnt find this problem (drive shaft vibration) when they replace the CV boot at the same time? It looks like he wants to make stories to cover their mistake?

In March of 2017, I walked into the Audi Mission Viejo, California dealership to have a minor repair on my leased 2014, A8. They said it would take 15-20 minutes so I took the time to look at the new A8 cars that were available. Jon, the salesman came up to me and asked if he could help – I said I was just looking because my lease doesn’t come due for another 2 months. He said, “How would you like to save a couple hundred dollars per month and get a new one today”. My first question was what happens to the old lease where there are 2 more payments due. He said that those payments would be wrapped into the new lease and even then, I would save a couple hundred dollars per month.I explained that this would be the only way I would be interested in getting a new car that day because I was actually thinking of other less expensive cars and wasn’t particularly happy with the service I had received from Audi during the current lease. Enticed by the offer, I ended up picking out a new 2017 A8, and before I left, I realized that I wasn’t even coming close to a couple hundred-dollar savings, in fact the payment was about $60 less. I just accepted this considering that they took back the other car with still two months of payments. He also told me that even if there was some minor wear and tear Audi waives that when you are leasing a new car and “staying part of the family”.Fast forward 2 years and my wife and I are moving to a new home. We are getting a mortgage and something shows up on my credit which is 820 on the FICO scale. I’m told by the bank that I need to do a conference call with Audi and an outside credit company that deals with these situations. During the call, I am told by Edgar at Audi that I still owe $3,236.74 from the 2015 lease. He explained that the amount due was because Audi took a loss when they sold the car, excess wear and tear, and lease payments that were still due. I pointed out to him that I have never seen one single bill via mail or any other form in two years. Also, while I was speaking to him, I checked my online account with Audi which showed all past and current leases and nothing showed there either. He agreed that this is a problem and I should contact my dealer and Audi of America. He also said that this does not show on my credit as something that is outstanding but then, when I pointed out that is why we are having this call, he said that should never had/have an effect on my credit. What am I supposed to do, call Audi every time I need a loan and have my credit checked? I will NEVER have anything to do with Audi or any company affiliated with Audi, they are as crooked as they come.Oh, and by the way, on another subject that you as a consumer should be aware of, several months ago I asked for a copy of the lease for my wife’s 2015 Q7, they ended up sending someone else’s credit application which had a lot of personal information like social security number, DOB, where they work, how much they make, etc. When I called back to let them know, they made the same mistake and sent me yet again someone else’s information. Third try, I finally got a copy of my lease. Bad business is the best I can say for Audi!

We had a horrible experience with the Q7 TDI Diesel Buyback program (2012 Audi). The process was long, hard to figure out and not very customer service friendly. I felt I was treated like I did something wrong. All I did was buy a Turbo Diesel Audi. My family of 4 were left without a car for 3 days, before we had our buyback money to buy a new car as we only have 1 for all of us. Everyone was rude to deal with. When you spend this amount of money on a car you expect a certain level of customer service, we did not get treated well. I would not recommend Audi to anyone I know. And I will not buy another Audi.

In winter 2016 I have bought brand new 2017 Audi A4 Premium Plus for 47k. It was this new version with cool digital gauges and new technology. It was rather exciting. I was thinking at the time that this small luxury sedan was worth the money. Then in December 2020, I got the message that my car doesnt support any more Google maps and from December 31 will stop working. Really after 3 years my car is obsolete and exciting feature that I have chose this car for is no longer available. I have contacted dealerships right away to see if I can upgrade my car, but answer was no, and I should probably get a new or newer Audi in order to have that ability. So 4 years after I cough up 47k for this Audi and planning to keep it in the family for longer, this car lost one of features that was their top selling point. I had a numbers of Audi cars so far in my life A4, A6, Q5 and Q7. I can tell you one thing. I will never ever again buy a Audi. It is like throwing away you money for something that will be obsolete in 3-4 years. Really sad from company that I had a the time on top for my vehicle needs.

Ive had my 2013 Audi allroad for 8 years, it currently has 112000 miles. Its always been serviced and repaired by Audi. 25k miles ago I started to need to top up oil between services. Audi then stated that this was normal. I didnt really believe that and started to do some research on my own and found that the early TFSI engines 2008-2012 have an inherent design fault which leads to high consumption of oil. **Gradually the problem got worse and during a service when I yet again made them aware of the issue and my research findings, they said the turbo was burning oil and needed to be replaced before they could do anything. This was done and $4k later my car was still burning oil. Problem got worse and worse. At 1 qrt every 600 miles Audi said that the abnormal use was due to a leaking top cover gasket and they could not do anything until this issue was corrected. I made them aware that the engine bay would have been full of oil if the top cover gasket was to blame but went ahead to fix the gasket at the same time as the timing chain was replaced. The problem still remained. I have now spent yet another $1k to perform a oil consumption test which concluded that the car is now using 1 qrt each 200 miles! Which is everything else but normal. Audi finally says that the piston rings need to be replaced and because the car is now out of warranty I have to pay for everything out of pocket!!!The fact that Audi from day one blamed everything else and asked me to spend premium $ to fix whatever they said was the issue instead of taking responsibility for their faulty engines is ridiculous and everything else but premium. Its so savage and ruthless to bleed your customers of money knowingly that there is an issue with the engines. This is not what I expect of a premium car company. Whoever is considering of ever buying or owning a new or used Audi please think twice!

Ours is the second Audi convertible weve had, and the engineering is top notch. And service has been excellent also, so I can see it could be bewildering for some people like me to come across these horror stories. However, Ive always been concerned about the what if something breaks? aspect. Especially with a cloth roof! Well, I hated to let the last Audi convertible go (it was a gorgeous amulet red). But I was afraid of the cost of repair, if something did go wrong, so Im somewhat consoled by these stories (sorry, folks).Anyhow, we had the first convertible, an A4, for 6 years and there were no problems after they fixed a squeaky speaker soon after we took ownership. Otherwise, I remember the only issue was one side of the glove box, where the plastic hinge ripped a little, so it was hard to close properly. As for the A5 weve had now almost 4 years, the battery failed and they replaced it under the warranty (phew, beat the expiration date... that things around $300!). Also, the transmission seemed to jerk through gears, and they did spend 3 days (!) repairing that under warranty. The only other oddity is a silly thing... the black button that resets the trip meter... its lost or peeled its paint and looks an ugly white. Ill definitely get that fixed soon before its done 50,000 miles! So, to sum up, these cars have been excellent to drive (note that were spoiled after having had a Sebring convertible previously). I am concerned about the transmission not being as smooth as that in a new Honda Ridgeline we bought last year. So I predict well keep the Audi up to two years more but next time, I think well LEASE the next Audi or maybe even a BMW.

Like many on here (including Javier - Dec 5, 2018), my Audi was expensive to maintain. I bought it new in 2010 and immediately it used to much oil. After many arguments with the local dealer (near Chicago), they finally got Audi America to cover the cost of fixing the issue (a piston ring issue they kept quiet). Somewhere north of 50k miles, the turbo went. Again, I had to press the local dealer and Audi was quietly fixing another issue they knew they had so they replaced the turbo. Then at 93k, my car would not start while out running local errands. I had to have it towed to an independent garage that works on Audi within the radius covered by my insurance road side assistance. This was a weekend but on Monday they called with the bad news that the tensioner on the timing chain went and damaged the valves. Their solution was to replace the engine with a used one, so I got the local Audi dealer involved. They said it was covered, so I spent $115 to have it towed to the dealer. I found out later this was part of a class action suit and the dealer wanted 8800 to replace the engine head. Audi said my warranty was voided, even though I did all my maintenance (65k, 75k,85k, etc) because I fell outside the time limit to do the maintenance (i.e. every 12 months), even though I drive few miles since retirement. I donated the car to charity and wrote a letter to the CEO of Volkswagen America, who used to be the President of Audi America. In all my years of driving and all of the cars/makes I have owned (many well over 100k), never have I had a timing belt/chain issue. Do yourself a favor and buy something other than an Audi or you do want an Audi, either lease it or trade it off before it is too old and you experience the heavy maintenance cost of owning these vehicles.

I have a 2004 Audi A8 with 98,000 miles and the transmission died. Other much cheaper cars go for much more than this mileage before they encounter a transmission failure. Audi wants $10,000 to replace the transmission, effectively forcing me to junk the car at this point. The attitude at customer service at Audi USA is essentially tough luck. I think a premium vehicle such as this one, should have more accountability from the manufacturer and it cannot be normal for the transmission to go at 98,000 miles especially when the maintenance has been done by the book all along.

Did you know that Audi has a monopoly on their key fob programming? Me neither. And, this mistake cost me almost $2000 and left me without a car for over three weeks. I admit that I didnt have a back-up key. Initially, I hired a Locksmith recommended on Audi USAs website. He was able to get in the car, setting off the alarm system, but was unable to program the key fob. I then towed the car to the dealer using an Audi recommended roadside assistance towing company. They blamed the Locksmith, that is recommended on their website, for breaking the comfort module. The Audi dealer and Audi Customer Care acted like they were concerned, they werent. Instead, they pointed fingers at me for seeking out and using an independent Locksmith, that was recommended on their website. The lesson learned is never, ever buy an Audi - unless you enjoy throwing money away, wasting hours of your time, and being without a car for over three weeks over a minor mistake.

I have been an Audi owner for almost 15 years. I finally purchased a brand new 2008 Audi RS4 and have had a problem with my starter. It sometimes just doesnt start, no rhyme or reason. After about 15 minutes, it will start. I have had the car serviced. In fact, it was at the Audi garage for six months. I picked it up today. By the way, it took them almost 45 minutes to get the car to me, then made me sign legal papers clearing them of any legal issues that might occur. I got the car home after driving 120 miles to get it home, parked the car and one hour later it would not start. I told them about the problem when it was serviced which, by the way, was for transmission problems. I paid ten thousand dollars for the service and when I got it home, it wouldnt start. I have owned four previous Audis and was an Audi enthusiast. I am so disappointed in the whole situation that I am done with Audi. I feel taken advantage of and would like some help. Over the last five years, Audi has really let me down. I thought by purchasing one of your higher end cars, it would have guaranteed me a little more consideration. By the way, the same garage had 168 dollars in toll booth fines which went unpaid until I received a letter from the state asking me to appear in court. When I called the garage and I told them, they acted like no big deal. Well, to me, it is a big deal. I have been without my car for six months and when I get it home from the dealer, it wont start. There was a recall on oil consumption on my 2011 Audi Q5. I took it to the dealership to have them check and repair, as soon as I got the information. I did this every time the oil light went on. They put in oil, reported back that all was well. Then, at time before this last one, ran a test, said to come back in 1,000 miles. This last time, the oil light went on and I went to service. They ran tests, now Audi says that I need a complete piston job at 77,804 miles. This is a modern car, how is it I should need a engine rebuilt at these miles. I chose a model that would no longer be available in the US (A3 clean diesel hatchback). There were only a handful available in the country and one of them was at Audi Coral Springs. Because I was set on this car and there were so few, I had no bargaining power and paid an enormous premium for the car. The leasing process itself was torture. The dealership had one printer and it wasnt working so the entire transaction took more than 4 hours. When the diesel emission fraud became public, I contacted the dealership and Audi USA. I was told over and over that the emission fraud was no big deal and that Audi owed me nothing. Basically I was told that Audi is handling this and that no one in the company could deal with my complaint. Audi has decided kill its brand and ensure that its customers go elsewhere. As for Audi Coral Springs... the personnel at the dealership were down right rude. I returned the car at the end of the lease only to be told that I had to sign a document that if anything happened to the car while in the hands of the dealer (the only place I could return it), I would be legally responsible for the damage. The document stated that I was required to maintain auto insurance on the vehicle until it was in the hands of the manufacturer which would take weeks to months. Ripped off a third time by Audi Coral Springs. I asked how I would know when to release the insurance and I was told not to worry about it. Needless to say, given Audis horrible, horrible customer service and casual attitude about defrauding the public, I will never drive an Audi again. I now have a Lexus hybrid and the experiences could not have been more different. One star for this dealership is really one too many.

Six months after purchasing a 2007 Audi A6 with 57k miles the steering control module required replacement. The cost to fix was $2,600. Because this obviously a result of poor engineering and not a wear and tear issue I wrote a complaint to Audi directly. Their response: We are sorry to learn of your issue however the car is not under warranty (they wont acknowledge the fact that this is a common issue as seen on many Audi forums) and because you did not buy at an Audi dealership and you are not a loyal Audi customer (1st Audi and last) we will not assist with repair. The point of my writing this is that their vehicles are over engineered and repair record and costs are absurd. Oh and dont even try to bring to someone other than an Audi dealership because they cannot work on them. And the dealerships know this full well!!! I am through with the 4 rings of death as my mechanic calls them and switching back to Lexus. Dont get taken by the looks of what I think is a great looking vehicle like I did. You will be surely regret it and be shopping for a new car ASAP.

I purchased a new 2019 A8 - and there is a problem with the software on the engine control module. This leads to misfires and power loss - and Audi has no fix for the issue (they are suggesting a software update will be coming in 9 months). How can you sell a $95k car and not stand behind it - just a joke - Audi should be ashamed.

I got my Q3 brand spankin new and for the first 2 years it was excellent. Now in my 3rd year, Ive had my vehicle serviced twice for rear-view camera malfunctions. Now, my vehicle wont turn on. Im stranded. I have what I suspect to be some sort of major computer malfunction because despite my turning the vehicle off, the radio turns on by itself and is what I suspect to be the reason why my battery has drained (and no, I never got the battery service light prior to this incident, in fact, I didnt get any service indicator lights). Once I miraculously got it started, the speedometer and computer mph reading defer by 25 mph - at a red light the computer reads Im going 25 mph. I also get the occasional TPMS on my dash and my tires are fine. This wouldve cost me a fortune if my vehicle werent still under warranty. Its only 3 years and 8 months old and has less than 42000 miles.

Audis are great Cars. Audi A6 is my favorite model and I wouldnt choose any other vehicle. They come equipped for the buyer, and it can be personally customized to each individual. The appearance is great and unique in its own way... I love the details in and out of the car. It runs great, comfortable and lots of room. The options for personalizing the Audi A6 is off the charts and very amazing. I love the great quality and everything else you can choose. The passenger capacity is 5 but Im pretty sure you can squeeze an extra body or two if you really wanted to... But I dont recommend it.

It cost $2100 for the job and then expect me to pay another $2100 again on top of all the routine maintenance. Worst service, even worse reliability. This car has let me down every time. I was looking for a 2012 model Audi TT with white exterior and red interior. This model is not easy to find. I went to Continental Audi, located in Naperville, Illinois. They offered me a good deal and got my $2,000 deposit, but they were unable to get me the car. I waited for 2 weeks and I still have not received any news. I then requested for the refund, but the dealers did not reply my phone calls and simply just ignored me. Until now, I still havent got my deposit back. I do not recommend this dealership at all, because their service is really bad and disappointing. As customers, we should be treated nicely. With that being said, they owed me the money, and they procrastinated to refund it to me.

The appearance of Audi vehicles are really unique and very luxurious. Some features include sport mode, push to start technology, leather interior and even off road mode. You can choose between various colors and you have a large options for upgrades. You can upgrade your car with tinted windows, change wheels, change the interior. Passenger capacity depends on what model of car you purchase. My Audi doesnt really have much room so maybe 3 people can fit in it since the back of the car is really small.

I bought a brand new 2014 diesel Q7. I loved it, loved how it drove, the gas mileage, its acceleration and handling. I loved the sound system and how roomy it was, and how comfortable it was to drive and ride in from almost any seat. 3rd row kind of sucked, but usually their kids anyway. So what happened? The government. Freakin California says they lied about emissions. Diesels anywhere else in the world (literally - Ive been there) are mainstream BECAUSE of their fuel efficiency. So they pay me 8K to keep my car and fix it so that it meets ridiculous standards of emissions. I got it fixed May? of 2018. Its now been in the shop 2x for 7-10 days per time because of the ad blue light indicator/system being faulty. This last time they thought there was air in the lines so they had to have the mechanic drive it for 50 miles (with my permission - I live 2 hours from the dealer) to verify purging of the system. They also found out I had it chipped at some point - way before their fix and of course now they want to say their warranty for the fix is no longer viable. My performance chip that is no longer even connected due to their re-construction of my exhaust system has nothing to do with their ad-blue fiasco. Of course, in Audis best interest they no longer offer diesel vehicles in the US but will still offer them overseas. Along with VW who has a smashing replica in 2019 of what this car used to be. I used to love my Audi, now its an anchor and potential money pit.

Audi of North America gets an F for customer service. I had the worst experience ever dealing with their representative over a new Q5 I purchased. Two phone calls (ended nowhere), I escalated the issue to a supervisor who not surprising was same useless when it comes to settling disputes between the customer and the dealer. The car came with a license plate cover on the front grill, but my state does not mandate/issue a front license plate and the grill. There are two big holes that cannot be covered by a license plate. Audi refused to replace the bracket with one that does not have the license cover despite their promise at the dealership that they would switch it. I am done with the brand!

This brand has a fairly wide variety of models. Including Audi A3 Sedan, Audi Q3, Audi A4, Audi A3 Cabriolet and many more exclusive and family cars. The variety of models range from sedan to cabriolet. I had the Audi A3 Cabriolet, it was a beautiful cobalt blue. It had a nice range of features. Mine was a standard wheel drive. The stereo was very nice as well. You can option this beautiful car out to your hearts content. You can add a turbo, choose your color, change stock stereo set and much more. The capacity in my car was good. However, I would imagine a sedan being much more spacious and better for family than my cabriolet. My cabriolet had enough room for myself and my school supplies, however.

Audi a5 from 2008 - 2 days before holiday on 26.04.14 the window cable mechanism breakdown, cost 225 for the part only+ labor cost 3h. On the 4th of May 2014 on our way to Venice, it was raining, a skylight take place, our central console dead (navigation, radio, media, no oil check, completely dead). Went to audi dealer in Venice, paid 80 euros to check the BUS Interface. The part need to be replace, 330 euro for the part + 120 euro labor cost, as is a UK car they need to order the part from UK. After 3 days in Venice we decide to buy a GPS for 150 euros and continue our holiday (Italian audi dealer check and top up our oil Castrol edge 5-30W ONLY SINCE the car was new 1500 km). Later on the 10th of May 2014 we arrive in a nice city call Brasov in Romania and the engine stop with no engine sign on. We call a service. They come to investigate our case and surprise they check the (ENGINE 135000 miles) timing chain and the top (plastic) tensioner. It was broken into pieces damage @ few 3000 TBC. We left the car in Romania and return to Jersey Channel islands UK by plane. The conclusion is the audi company diminish our entire holiday + 4500 into parts and labor cost. We plan to pay a visit to our insurer as we have full comprehensive insurance on the car + travel insurance, hoping they will do something for us as the car is not in the warranty anymore..... So the conclusion is what can get any WORSE than buy and drive an AUDI on a peaceful holiday .... WHERE IS THE GERMAN QUALITY????? It never been probably.

Ive had nothing but problems with my Audi S6 since I bought it. Dealer just replaced 2 leaking high-pressure fuel pumps and 5 fuel injectors a couple weeks ago. I was driving home after I got it back and smelt gas but didnt really think much of it at the time and thought it may have been something I was driving past. The next morning when I was letting the car warm up and getting my kids ready for school, I noticed the gas smell again and saw the car spewing gas from the engine. Car was towed to the dealer and they said it was a fuel injector failure. Called Audi of America and they basically said sorry for your issues, but just deal with them; we dont care about you or your kids, in short. This car is unsafe and Id just like to warn everyone of this failure and the way AUDI responds to the problems. The car was running with no warning that fuel was spewing from the engine! Hows that for engineering? If only someone drove by and threw a cigarette butt, or I drove the car and the leaking gas ignited. This is now 2 fuels leaks; one right after the dealer fixed the other. Oh, let me also mention that the AUDI dealer had my car for 4-months to fix the first fuel leak! They were arguing with me that it was a bad battery in the car. It was only after some techs were sent in from another AUDI dealer that they discovered the fuel issues.

The issue that I have experienced was: 1.5 months back I had my 5 year old Audi A3 cut out on the motorway due to the engine mis-firing. I had RAC tow the car into Audi Nottingham where they said one of the injectors had failed which caused fuel to enter into the engine and cause this issue. I paid £1200 to get this fixed. A month later the car cut out again with the exact same symptoms, so I had it taken into Audi Sheffield. After having the car for 2 weeks they are still not able to re-produce the failure but can confirm from the vehicle computer system that the engine is mis-firing. After buying a premium car, and having it taken only to an Audi dealer for any services/repairs it is really disappointing to experience first hand the lack of quality with both the car and the service received. It occurred on: 11/06/2019.This meant that I was put in danger by the engine cutting off on the motorway. I was left without a car for 2 weeks during the initial breakdown. I was left without a car for another 2 weeks during the second week. I have lost all confidence in the car, the Audi group and the capability of the Audi technicians who are meant to be the best at what they do. I would like Audi to take ownership for selling me a car with a faulty engine and actually get it fixed. There comes a time when they need to stop looking for every excuse as to why the car engine is failing and look into what is causing the engines to fail in a car that is 5 years old with 60K miles on the clock. This is the most disappointed I have ever been with a car company or the services I have received from any car OEM! I look forward to your prompt response on this matter.

I have purchased an Audi A6 2.7TDI in May 2010. The details of vehicle are as follows: Vehicle Type : AUDI A6 2.7 Tdi. Makers Name : Audi India. Fuel used : DieselThe vehicle is giving trouble continuously since the same was purchased in 2010. We furnish below the list of some of the major defects we noticed. The vehicle was sent for repairs to Hyderabad. 1. Water leakage problem occurred in September 2010, and the water pump was replaced with a new one. 2. The belt of the alternator was found to be broken. 3. Steering jam problem. 4. Brake problem was noticed after repairs en route; for example, Hyderabad to Nagpur. 5. Front wind shield cracked and replaced in October 2011. 6. Servicing and minor repairs in June 2012 at Nagpur workstation. 7. Fuel line problem occurred immediately after servicing at Nagpur workstation.8. During the past, the vehicle was stranded en route twice in the span of 2 years.First of all, in September 2010, we found some defects. The same was communicated to Audi India for the defects in the vehicle were water leakage, defective alternator, and defective steering jam. The vehicle was sent to Olympus Motors Private Limited, Hyderabad for repairs. While communicating the defect to you, I had already notified to please note I cannot pull on with such problems often & often in a new vehicle with only 7000 km of run. I am very much disturbed with problems like this, and as such, request you to kindly take back the vehicle, which is running with all these manufacturing defects. The vehicle was sent to Hyderabad for repairs for four times, but the problems in the vehicle continued. In addition to the above, some brake system failures were generated en route from Hyderabad to Nagpur, which was again repaired by Audi technicians, who came all the way from Hyderabad to Nagpur for these repairs. In October 2011, a crack was noticed at the left corner of the front windshield which gradually developed and was then replaced with a new front windshield by your Hyderabad-based workstation. However, every time, the vehicle needs to be sent to Hyderabad and received back at Nagpur in a closed van. The cost of transportation of Rs. 80,000 was incurred by us for replacing front windshield glass worth Rs. 40,000.The vehicle was continuously giving us trouble and was required to be sent to Hyderabad for repairs 4 times, but the list of the problems continue to be growing even today, though the same was sent for regular servicing and timely repairs at your authorized service stations. The vehicle continued to be out of order for some or the other reason. This vehicle was sent for servicing at your Nagpur-based workstation for servicing in the end of June 2012. Some or the other small manufacturing defects lead me to rethink about my decision of purchasing the vehicle and more particularly Audi-made vehicles. The manufacturing defects crop up every time and lead to dissatisfaction. After servicing the vehicle, some problem of fuel pump choke-up cropped up; and the vehicle was detained for about 20 days at the Nagpur workstation for getting certain spares. The net effect was that the vehicle remained idle for no fault of us, even if the same was sent for servicing on time. The vehicle is again sent for repairs on 21.07.2012, since the diesel leakage problem was noticed in the vehicle. It appears that the diesel tank was improperly fitted or alignment must have been disturbed. It is noted that the vehicle traveled for 30,431 km till date and remained with continuous problems with such a short run. I am very much perturbed and dissatisfied by the everyday problems in the vehicle. I therefore request you to kindly take back the vehicle. It is regretted to state that I am sorry to continue to own this vehicle any more, and therefore, Im inclined to request you to kindly take back the vehicle and refund us the cost I had already paid along with interest thereon at 18% per annum.

My new Audi required a tow to Ft Worth from Abilene (2 Hours) because of engine failure. Then they need me to drive up to Ft Worth to pick up the car. I do get them to deliver it. One week later the transmission is slipping and ** service manager assures me it is in my head and the car is meant to slip. They would work me in in 2-3 weeks if I insisted on coming in. I drive 6 hours to Houston Audi who got me right in and found that the bolts were not tight on the new engine and was causing the slippage. Ft Worth Audit won’t answer their phone and take appointments only weeks in advance. ** is useless.

I drive a 2012 Audi A6 SuperCharged. A few days ago I received a recall for fuel pump change, in that I called the nearest Audi dealership to make an appointment for the change on 01/26/2017. In the process of the change I decided to have an oil change. At the dealership everyone was very nice and took care of me within the process of the service and assured me that the fuel pump and the oil change has been taken care of and paid 140.27 dollars for the oil change. The biggest part me going to the dealership was because of the recall for the fuel pump because of the letter I received a few days ago. This morning 01/27/2017, after my daily routine coming home the car engine suddenly turned off. The worst part of this was that I was traveling on a highway, Palisades Parkway to be exact. On the dashboard of the car there were no indication of something wrong. The fuel gauge was indicated as that the car had fuel in the car. Not thinking about the amount of fuel that is in the car, I thought that there was something wrong with the engine itself. Thinking back from yesterdays service, the service was for the fuel pump recall. Thinking that it couldnt be fuel because I just came out of the service for this problem, but to be sure I called a friend to bring some gas to put in the car. Sure enough after adding fuel into the car the car started and I was able to drive to the nearest gas station to fill up.In all, this complaint is for the service at the Audi Town Motors of Englewood NJ where they specialize in Audi. Having trusted that an Audi dealership would know how to service an Audi car, was the worst mistake of my life. Driving a car in the highway, all of the sudden losing an engine and feeling a life or death situation was something that I wanted to share. Cars flying by me trying desperately to move the car to a safe place to park was something that no one should experience. I would like to formally put a complaint to the Audi Town Motors of Englwood NJ at 400 South Dean St Englewood NJ 07631. For the life or death situation I was in and amount of time I had to suffer for the mistakes that the Audi made, in a recall that Audi of America formally gave out to all of the Audi owners.

Bought a new Audi Q7 from this dealer 5/19/17. I am 55 years old and a professional in my field and felt like it was time for my first luxury vehicle. I did my homework and knew I wanted a luxury SUV. My choices came down to Audi, Volvo + BMW. I choose the Audi Q7 2.0 Premium Plus Package. Seemed like a wonderful car.... Fast forward to 3/11/20 without any warning the engine blows a rod through the engine block. The car has 85,375 miles on it and has been properly serviced on oil changes (every 10,000 miles). I go out of my way to take care of my vehicles with proper maintenance. I take it to nearest Audi dealership (Ontario) for repair/answers on why this happened. They suggest it be turned over to Audi (Corp.) for a claim. I also called Audi (Riverside) and the man that sold me the car (Dan) was no longer there, but once they heard I had started a claim with Audi (Corp.) they said there was not much more they could do for me. Audi (Ontario) offered me 20% off what is now going to be an engine replacement. My talks with Audi (Corp.) was insulting to me.....absolutely no help. They went through the motions of taking a report, but at the end of the day did absolutely nothing to stand behind their name on what has to be a wrong situation for this to happen. When I asked why they would not do more or stand behind what feels so wrong to me they said it was because I had my service (oil changes) done at my own mechanic and warranty on the car stopped at 50,000 miles. I understood the warranty at 50,000, but to have a violent engine blow without warning at 85,375 miles made no sense to me. My mechanic is certified and licensed with 35 years experience and used the Audi recommended oil. The Audi (Corp.) Rep Sean comes off as wanting to help, but in my opinion he gathered information to work it against you....beware. This infuriated me, but what choice did I have but to get the repair done. Audi did the repair at a cost to me of $11,903.82. This is not right as I still owe over 3 years in payments on this purchase and they could not give me a reason at the service department on why this happened. Consumer beware. If you have choices on your luxury SUV purchase dont let it be Audi if you expect support from them on an injustice. In hindsight, I wish I had chosen Volvo.

I purchased this A4 Audi in 2012. At the time, it still had the manufacturer warranty and still does. I had several issues with the car due to Audi design of the steering and ball joints. Currently, I was having trouble with fuel door on the car opening. So I brought it in to ask them to fix it. I was told by Robin that the problem is with the comfort module due to water damage! THEY said they assumed it was water damage and it is not covered by manufacturer warranty! She tried to show me water damage; I did not see any. She said that she might have given me too much information but they cannot complete the FIX because they will not connect the comfort module because the problem IS NOT FIXED unless I pay $812. On March 17, 2012, I purchased a new 2012 Audi A7 from Fletcher Jones Audi in Chicago, Illinois. I live in Saint Louis Missouri. I had not seen the actual vehicle that I was purchasing because the dealership was going to ship the vehicle to me. While I was waiting on them to bring the vehicle from the garage, we completed all of the paperwork. When I finally saw the car, my husband, myself and two other people that were with us noticed all of the white spots/blotches all over the car. The car is black. The salesman assured me that by the time they shipped the car to me, they would have all of these paint issues corrected/removed. The sales contacted me on March 22 to inform me that the car was being delivered on Saturday, March 24. I asked him if all of the white spots had been removed from the car and he stated yes, that the car is in perfect condition. The truck driver delivered the vehicle to me on the morning of March 24th. Once the car was removed from the bed, both my husband and I immediately noticed that the same white spots where still all over the vehicle. We informed the driver and contacted the salesman on the spot while the truck driver was still there. The salesman, as well as his boss and the manager of the dealership all assured us that the issue would be handled and corrected and not to worry, that they would do whatever it took to get the paint problem corrected. The salesman stated that he looked the car completely over before putting it on the bed of the truck and that there were absolutely no spots on the vehicle. He said the transporter must have done something to the vehicle because it was in perfect condition when it left their dealership. For the next two weeks, my husband and I spent time calling and emailing the dealership to find out what they wanted us to do and how they were going to fix the problem. Finally, they instructed us to take the vehicle to a local Audi dealership here in Saint Louis. We made an appointment and took the vehicle to Plaza Audi. They looked at the vehicle and tried to do some minor corrections and that did not work, so they told us to bring it back another day so that they could keep it and do a completed detail and buff and try to buff the spots out. They kept my car for three days and when I picked it up, they informed me that they were not able to correct the issue and that we they would recommend we take the car to their auto body/collision center to see what they recommend. We made an appointment and took the car to Plaza Collision Center. They then completed an estimate of what the car would need to have done in order to get rid of the spots. They said that the spots were in the paint so the hood would need to be re-painted and the other areas of the car they could buff the spots out. They gave us everything in writing and told us to get with Fletcher Jones to see how they wanted to proceed. For the next month, we tried to contact Fletcher Jones and the service center guy at Plaza Audi told us that he had been trying to contact Fletcher Jones to see how they wanted to proceed. In the meantime, I went ahead and made Audi America (the parent company/owner of Audi) aware of the issue and got them involved. After Christine at Audi America made several phone calls to both dealerships and collision center, she instructed me to contact the collision center to set up a date for repair. When I contacted Ben at the collision center, he informed me that he was waiting to see how Fletcher Jones wanted to handle the payment of the repair. I waited about a week and still did not have a date for repair. Christine then contacted me back and told me that everything had been squared away and that I should take my vehicle to the Plaza Collision center on June 11, 2012. I took my vehicle in and the collision center told me that they would be done in 3-4 days. They gave me a Chrysler Caravan as a loaner vehicle. On June 14th, I contacted Plaza Collision to see if my vehicle was ready and they told me that it was not ready. Ben ** promised me that once I returned from vacation on June 23rd, my vehicle would be ready. On June 25, I contacted Ben and he told me that he did not know the status of my vehicle and that he would call me back. He never called me back. Finally on June 27th, he informed me that they had not even started on my vehicle. He told me that they had not done anything to my vehicle. I told him that I was coming to get my vehicle that same day. When I got my vehicle, my husband and I noticed that in addition to the white spots, I now have brown swirl burn marks on my hood from them using the machine and trying to buff the spots from my hood so much instead of just re-painting it. Christine contacted me to ask if my vehicle had been repaired to my satisfaction and I informed her of everything that had happened. She told me that she was going to escalate my issue to her boss because it had gotten to the point where I had been more than patient. A week later on July 5th, I was told that the collision center would not be able to repair my car until August 9th. I was told by Nick, who is the service manager at Plaza Audi, and Christine that I would bring my vehicle in and that I would be given an Audi loaner vehicle not a minivan. Audi also agreed to compensate me one notes car payment for all the time, headache, frustration, mental anguish, etc. that I had suffered during the last five months. I took my car in to the dealership this morning and was informed that they did not have any Audi loaner vehicles but they would deliver me an Audi loaner vehicle by the end of the day. At the end of the day on August 9, I am being told that they do not know when they will get an Audi loaner vehicle and that they will call me when they get one. I now have my car returned back to me and the repairs have still not been made.

First I purchased a pre-owned vehicle 2015 Audi A3 motor 1.8. I custom made a few thing. Wanted to make a big purchase my dream car the luxury car that I wanted, on 3/31/18. Now after one year and 8 months my engine literally broke in pieces, I was driving and my car was not heating up but I noticed that it was losing power while I was driving. I worked in a dealership so I have a lot of knowledge about cars. I got out and I see pieces of the engine everywhere. I was 3 away from home. Call the dealership. They tell me that is no warranty. My car has only 38,000 miles. Im still making payments. When I purchase they said my power train is cover until 50,000. I call Audi 1800 number. Also tell me is not cover. So I had to paid $450 dollars of towing the car back home. Now they said for me to tow the car to South Audi in Orlando which is $150.00 more plus for me to paid $190 diagnostic and I call warranty they said contact the dealer. Im so disappointed, I really thought I was buying a durable car. Im a person that take care the vehicle. I have all my maintenance up to date. Always check the fluid. How can they not help me with nothing. So Im paying a vehicle that is sitting in my garage. Be careful what you buying. Im sure this engine had factory defects. So disappointed.

I purchased a new Q7 and two months later, it leaks gasoline on the monoblock. One week later, two days after supposed repair, the same failure reoccurred. One month later, they said its fixed but I obviously have my doubts and they dont accept to exchange for a TDI to avoid the possibility of putting my family at risk again.

I leased an Audi A6 and turned it in one month early pull ahead lease for S5. Don’t get me wrong I love the actual car but the service has been a nightmare. Charging me so much money 5 months after I turned the car in. Trying to charge for excise tax that I paid but they applied to the actual car payments. In doing so when I did pull ahead deal instead of it looking like I had a car payment left it looked like I owed excise tax. After many calls and hours of my life I’ll never get back they acted like they figured it out. I made a pay off turn in settlement for the extra miles and thought it was over. Then I get a bill for excise tax in the mail. When I try to explain to the specific department they tell me they just received this bill from my city. I called the clerks office and they told me the excise tax for the A6 was sent in April 2018 and they are trying to make me pay it in April 2019. They lied over and over and after making the previous settlement and really still trying to collect excise tax I already paid them. Now I have to spend all kinds of time trying to get this dealt with, and no one will just make good on it. I was told BMW service is phenomenal... And I honestly wish I leased with someone else. Lesson learned... Never again.

2004 Audi TT - The heat wave we experienced this past summer caused my rear window to separate from the convertible top. I have attempted numerous ways of repairing it. All have failed. Audis solution is an entire new top at $4600. Corporate became involved and Commonwealth Audi offered a 20% discount, which is still not affordable. Mercury Insurance refused to pay for it stating this is normal wear and tear! The car was stored in a garage and the top was used maybe 10 times in a 3 year span. The car cost $28,0000 which was paid in full and is 10 years old. I expected the quality of an Audi to outlast much longer than this. I am now driving it around with a playground ball holding it in place. Most recently its running on hot now and will need repair. It has been one thing after another and I am extremely unhappy with this car and the responses I have received from both my insurance company and Audi.

It is safe and others should have it to not be in danger when this is a great car for almost everywhere to drive through such as off roads, some highways, streets in neighborhoods, the roads off at the stores, also the drive thrus. I would say it has a nice appearance and should be recommended for others so they can appreciate the looks of the car and how well it is for people to drive with barely any problems having to be on the car at all.The various upgrade helps it get lighter and to be more safer they add protection inside the car also which is very great for kids, children so they wont have any technical difficulties as the other fast supercars that dont really have any protection inside, within or without it. An Audi helps gets people to places like an average car. The capacity and the weight the car takes on is incredible because it still holds against heavy people such as myself and my other family members who are always entering my car to go to places wherever. For others it would helpful so there would still be a engine functioning.

2017 Audi A3 under 45k miles needs a brand new fuel canister and a NEW TRANSMISSION! The Factory warranty expired less than a month ago but I was in quarantine on top of sky high Covid cases. Dealership has had my car now for 2 weeks and sent an estimate for $10,800+. Then had the nerve to say they would cover half!! Like what! Half?? I’m mind blown that this can even be an issue on this new of a car, but it’s even more mind boggling that its an AUDI. They use to be my favorite brand. I’m afraid to even get this car back as it’s obviously a lemon, and it doesn’t seem like they will stand behind it.

I have brake issues, rotors keep getting scratched, shaking Error messages on the on the main display. They have repaired it and said that it’s all good. However less than one week later the same issue repeated. The same all over again. However this time I have transmission slip failure, driving system failure.

UPDATED 1/12/2021: I bought a brand new Q7 from Audi 3 yr ago with 5 miles on it. At least 2 of those yrs my truck would say down 1 quart of oil at least every couple months and I would always take it in to Audi then it started being monthly. It would read down 1 qt of oil and I still would take it in thinking that this was normal :(. So now my Q7 dash saying down 1 quart of oil. It’s been 3weeks and when I took it in to Audi I demanded to know why is this happening :(. I was informed that I need my engine to be rebuilt which will cost $19,000 and that my warranty just expired a few months ago @50,000. I complained BIG TIME then Audi said they will pay 75% but I’m responsible for $4980 which I still feel is crazy. How do I go from $89,000 new truck to a piece of junk in 3 years. I HATE I choose Audi to invest my money with cuz this was a waste. :(ORIGINAL REVIEW: I save my hard earn money for 5 years to be able to put a down payment on my Dream 2017 Audi Q7... I was so excited. I dotted all my is and crossed all my t’s just to end up with a Lemon. :( I did research on my Audi truck before purchasing it and when the time came as a single mother I was so excited to finally for the 1st time purchase me a brand new truck with only 3 miles on it... This new Truck quickly went from Dream truck to nightmare truck. :( About a month after I bought my new truck I was hearing a squeak from my breaks. I immediately called the dealership and they told me that was Audi new braking system and with a lil more wear & tear on my truck it would go away. But it never did. :( 3 months later I took my truck to Audi dealership because the squeak From my breaks got louder to the point when I leave for work @5 am my Neighbors could hear me which was so embarrassing as a 1st time new proud car owner... (I’ve had 5 used vehicles in my life all which were a piece of crap always need’n work... I thought my dream Audi truck would be different.)So when I took my truck to Audi they acknowledged that they can hear what Im hearing But at this time there’s nothing that could be done because their system is not showing nothing mechanical is wrong with my truck. So I’m like, You hear this loud ** noise But youre gonna stand here in my face and tell me nothing can be done at this time to keep putting wear and tear on my new Q7 and it will go away? And Audi was like YES.On another occasions I called and complain that the noise is even louder and someone in the service department told me the next time I drive my 2017 Audi Q7 put some speed behind driving then hit breaks real hard and that should fix the problem. Uhhh, I said, that don’t seem safe. I was pissed and felt like I had been had by this premiums upscale car company. So I call corporate and again to my surprise They ask me, What did the dealership say when you took it in? And in so many words the lady says, We can’t do nothing about your truck unless the dealership says it’s a problem. I couldnt believe my ears. I was so hurt. I felt like I was dealing with a slick talking used car salesman. So my complaints and taking my trucks back to different Audis hoping to get this problem fix went on till right now as I write this complaint. And I have yet to still get anyone at Audi to do anything to fix my problem. Its like I NEVER had a brand new vehicle because from the beginning It was a problem... My prayer is that someone learn from my mistake in putting your trust in where I bought my brand new 2017 Audi Q7 and where I’ve communicate with them about this noise on numerous occasions. Audi Financial located 2490 Skokie Valley Rd Highland Pk, IL 60035. I’ve also complained and Have taking my Truck on a few occasions to Audi Orland Pk 8021 159tg St Tinely Pk, Il 60477.As a single mother you hear all the time about how salesmen and dealerships take advantage of women and I do feel like that’s whats happening to me. When I’ve spoken to my Pastor, friends or co-workers about this issue Im having with my truck everyone is shock that Audi is treating me and my truck situation like they Have over this year. My Pastor told me, It’s not that something went wrong with your vehicle. That’s the big thing. It’s how youre being treated about the whole thing... with no respect or not standing behind Audi name. I will continue to write letters & complain about Audi till someone Listens and helps me... Thank you for your time.

Ive been a Volkswagen/Audi customer for more than 12 years. My very last Audi was a 2005 Audi A6 3.2 Quattro sedan. I have leased it brand new for three years then purchased at lease-end. I ended up selling it to CarMax last Friday, 5/25/12. For almost seven years of A6 ownership, with 5 year/50K warranty included and purchased an additional 5 year/75K extended warranty with expensive repairs in mind, it was one hell of a ride. It was pampered like a baby and well-maintained. Its body is built like a jet and runs like a bullet train until 71K came. On 7/5/11, I took it to my local Audi dealership due to ABS warning light. They advised to have the 75K service done at the time and I said okay and they went ahead and performed the 75K service. After an hour or so, my advisor came back and informed me that while running some software update, the Parking Brake Control Module crashed. Guess what? It had to be replaced. Wow! They added another problem to the existing problem and that has always been the case every time I set foot to any Audi dealership and I would always pay for it! So, the Parking Brake Control Module was replaced for $794 excluding the 75K service which was $775 for a total of $1569 in one visit. After almost a year, on 5/8/12, I took it to the same Audi dealership with 77K on it due to the intermittent PRNDS all highlighted in red plus the ABS light came back. The car stayed in the dealership for 3 days. My advisor said it needs a new transmission and a new ABS pump and module for a grand total of $16K. Cha-ching! Wow! Keep in mind that I still owe around $10K on the car. I was totally overwhelmed! I called Audi of America and asked for some assistance and offered 50% off the total repair cost. I still need to pay $8k for it. I felt that it wasnt enough due to the fact that Im still making monthly payments plus the car has been well-maintained and had low mileage for the year model which lead me to the question of How can it suddenly break just like that?On May 25, 2012, I went to another dealership to trade it in. They checked and appraised the cars worth. To my surprise, they said the cars transmission is in good condition and theyre willing to buy it for $10K. I was so surprised to know that the transmission was not even an issue and I would still get $10K for it. That very same day, 5/25/12, I took my A6 to CarMax for appraisal just to have a comparison. Guess what? They found nothing wrong with the transmission. The appraisal report said, Transmission good condition, etc. and they were willing to pay me $10K. Well, well, well, the truth came out. Right that very moment, I realized Ive been cheated on, lied to by Audi for so many years. That was the very reason why I sold my A6 to CarMax that very same day. I dont mind paying for expensive maintenance for I knew it was bound to happen since its a luxury car but the fact that Audi was a greedy and a dishonest brand, it wasnt worth keeping at all. Maybe I didnt even need to have that Parking Brake Module replaced after all. I wanted to share this grim experience I had with Audi to the consumers out there who are stuck in the four rings of hell or are planning to purchase it. Let this serve as a warning or lesson to you and to those who are still okay with Audi, good luck. Im glad I got out of it but it took me thousands of dollars to realize that I dont want anything to do with Audi anymore.

I am a new Audi customer and definitely did not expect this company to be so incompetent. First off, the app is a joke. It doesnt really do anything useful so we never use it. I also had a hard time connecting my Audi account to Audi Financial Service in order to set up an auto-pay. I tried numerous times but the website seemed to have an issue all the time. When I called the customer service to get help, there was a long wait about 20-30min in a Thursday morning around 9am PST, which shouldnt be the busiest time of the day or the week, and the representative who came on the line was very disrespectful and not helpful. He sounded like a high-school kid who wasnt motivated to do anything at all. So the only way at this moment to set up an auto-pay is to fill out the paperwork and mail it to Audi. Unbelievably old school. Ive only owned the car for 3-4 months but already regret it. Ive owned a few cars in the past from different makes, but Audi is definitely the worst.

There were plenty of models for me to choose from and packages were varied. Also the pricing on models allowed me to consider different options. Many on site vehicles to test drive. Very sleek look. Regardless of the model they all were very well design. Loved the options of the interior. Leather looked great and tan leather was awesome. Also color variety was nice. Was excited to get heated seats and a navigation system for a great price. Seats an average amount of people. There was decent leg room in the back and the passenger seat allowed for quite a bit of room. Also enjoyed the mobility of the back seats.

Buyer Beware!!! These cars have transmissions and clutch issues!!! I purchased a 2021 brand new off the lot with only 6 miles and 5 months later I started having transmission issues barely escaping off the highway alive when the car decided to shut down on me. The engine light came on stating that I had transmission failure and it completely shut off after I barely made it off onto the ramp, luckily I was near an exit, otherwise it would have shut down on the highway. People please read up on Audi’s and their transmission issues before purchasing!!! Because the dealership will be of no service to you once the car starts to fail, they are in the business of making money!!!

I bought my Audi A6 a few months ago, and I was happy with it until a few weeks ago in which it started having problem with dash switches and eventually all switches lost their functionality. I could no longer use satellite navigation nor mobile. Because the car is under warranty, I took that to Audi Stafford. I was told that corrosion has developed under the switches! Since it is an outside influence, the warranty does not apply! Such a strange reason to decline the warranty. This is a major problem, and I hope it is a one off. Otherwise, I call that a major design fault. If this is the case, then all Audi having this switching feature needs to be recalled; and I certainly like to know if this is the case. I could not convince the service manager, and that is why I am contacting you.I like to have an explanation and reason why a car of this age (less than 3 years old) must develop corrosion. Bear in mind that corrosion is a gradual process. And now even worse, the Audi is not even accepting to fix the car under warranty. I was very disappointed when I heard that the switches carry no IP rating. That means they are susceptible to humidity, let alone water ingress. If this happens to a Ford Escort, I will still be surprised. We are talking about a top class car, and I do expect minimum requirement. Some time ago, my son dropped my Nokia into the sink. The mobile stopped working for a few days, and then it came back to life.I am dealing with issues like that, and we design electronics and mechanical devices. All PCBs used have an extra water proof cover to prevent it from any ingress and even splash of water. Does Audi protect its internal electronics with anything? I do not like to use any harsh language at all, as this may be a one off case; however, this car must be repaired under warranty.I had another issue like that a few years ago with my other car, Toyota Avensis; and it was not even under warranty (after 6 years) when both of its front lights failed. Toyota finally accepted to repair my car when I wrote to Watch dog and Trading Standard. I appreciate your immediate attention on this matter.

I have a 2005 Audi A6 3.2. It has 102,000 mi. I jumped in the car to go to work and it would not start. Turned the key, steering was locked, gear shifter was locked, only the MMI was working. Had it towed to the Audi dealer and they told me the ignition switch was bad. $881 later and $375 for the tow, I was back running. 3 weeks to the day after, the same thing happened. Same symptoms. Towed back to the dealer and now its the Access Control Module. This means the whole steering column needs to be replaced. Quoted $1700 plus another $375 tow.Heres the good stuff now: prior to sending the car the first time to Audi, I did my research. There is thousands of Audi owner complaints about the same problem with the same symptoms. I told the service guy this and he told me they would check it out. They assured me it was the key switch which was not letting the key communicate with the steering column module. Now this time it is diagnosed with what thousands other have felt with. Audi USA is just telling me to suck it up. They know there was a problem when back in 2009 when they released TSB related to the exact problem. The fix was to replace with a newer updated Steering Column Module.Audi will not help me at all. $50,000 car and they dont stand behind it. Toyota stepped up a few times and did the right thing. It cost them some money but they gained many more new customers. Everybody do yourself a favor and dont buy an Audi. They dont care about the customer, only themselves. Its evident, they knew about a problem and are doing nothing about it. Like back in 2011, they knew about CVT transmission problems. But a federal judge ruled that Audi tried to conceal it from customers. Please dont make the same mistake I did.

We purchased a new Audi A6 TDI in 2014. We have monitored all the court action but really just been waiting. Recently we took our car to Larson Audi in Fife for some service. The goodwill package that we had received but never activated had expired. When we called Audi to request they reissue it they pretty much told us to get lost. We did not lie, cheat and rip off consumers but they treated us like criminals, it was horrible and embarrassing. I would never buy another Audi or Volkswagen product given how poorly we were and are being treated.

We purchased a Pre-Owned Audi Q5 from Audi-West Chester, PA that was burning a quart of oil per month by 30,000 miles. I notified the salesman and manager the same day of purchase that the add oil message had appeared on the way home. From that point on neither would return my calls or emails and were always in meetings when I showed up. By 70,000 we were burning a quart each week! All along we were told by Audi West Chester that this was normal for any 2.0T.Recently I scheduled an Oil Consumption Test to be done at another dealer that I have dealt with, Mechanicsburg PA which was a nightmare of a process. This dealer confirmed numerous times over the past 2 years that burning oil was normal while I was in for other service. When I returned to conclude the oil test I was told the engine was burning 3 quarts of oil per 1,000 miles and Audi would probably cover 75% of the repairs, but before they could submit a claim I would have to pay $289 for another engine test.Yesterday, I received a call saying Audi agreed to pay 25% of a $5,000 repair due to high mileage. The fact that I had written documentation of the problem existing at 30,000 miles made no difference. No part of this warrants the premium price paid for these vehicles. I hope the 2009-2011 2.0T class action law suit gets extended, then all 3 of my Audi vehicles would be involved in class actions. What a great company. Seeing Audi reduced the factory warranty after moving production to Mexico tells me Audi dealers know they must put on a good show in the sales department and then add some smoke and mirrors to rake in the cash for service. Great business model.

Purchased 2006 A4 used in March of 2007 with 8,000 miles. Two weeks after purchase, stranded, due to bad coils. The car is towed and repaired under warranty. One month later coils fail again - Im stranded again. Car is towed and repaired. After that the car is excellent mechanically for about 75,000 miles of meticulous, by the book maintenance by an outstanding independent Audi shop. Replaced plastic center console glove box latch twice. I finally improvised with velcro. Cmon Audi cheap, fragile, plastic latch on a 30K car! The Check Engine remained lit from 10,000 miles on. The dealer and Audi shop would diagnose every tune-up and oil change but the light would come back after 10 miles or so. At 60,000 control module for auto door lock and alarm failed - quoted $525.00 repair. I decide to manually lock and unlock driver door. All other doors locked properly but the alarm would not set without manually locking the driver door. 110,000 mile driver side power window actuator, $350.00. 115,000 oil sensor/plug $690.00. Next rear fuel pump located in gas tank, $800.00. Now the car is dead from camshaft failure at 135,000 miles. The dealer quote is $11,200.00. Ive driven many makes in 40 years of car ownership: GM, Honda, Acura, Lexus, BMW. None have left me stranded by the roadside. Acura, Lexus and Bimmer easily exceeded 150,000 miles. Im headed back to Acura or Lexus after I figure out how to dispose of the Audi A4 occupying a space in my garage.

This car brand is amazing, thoughtful and generous. They had a ton of variety of cars in the showroom and in the lot so you see the different models. The cars were clean and the dealer was as well. They also had catalogs of cars with different colors, features, and tons of custom options. The added features were clearly listed on the cars with their prices. The upgrades were not that highly priced as I would have expected. The passenger side was very comfortable and had a lot of features, more than my last car. The safety in airbags was also a good peace of mind.

Do not buy cars from Audi Las Vegas. They are liar and receiving customers they make my husband sign on paper that he didnt understand what it means because it doesnt speak English. They told him one thing and then lie and there and the manager is the biggest liar of them all. And when you go to Audi customer service support they cannot help you. They tell you to go back to the agency that Full of liars.

I am not an Audi customer, but rather a former employee of one of their stores. The store I was working at engaged in shameful practices towards customers and had such a weak employee staff it was laughable. Half the sales staff were not properly trained while the other half were vicious sharks wanting to have any and all customers landed in their hands to ensue an aggressive close. In other words, while looking at the car a customer may be with a person who has almost no knowledge of the product, but when the time comes to discuss numbers an expert at digging in your budget is presented. If any type of issue would arise that was questionable, they were experts at rearranging the conversation to avoid answering questions or resolving the matter. Most of the barely trained sales team were not even able to pretend that they had any decent level of manners or education. Multiple customers would complain about this but it was never addressed properly or effectively. The cars themselves? Lets just say that more than 30% had issues immediately after the sale. It is really hard to sell a car that a customer brings back the next day for service.

Our family purchased a 2011 Audi A5 with 2.0 T engine. The Timing Chain (Tensioner) failed at 70,000 m. The engine head and pistons (predictably) are wrecked. The car was maintained according to the Audi schedule with the Dealer from whom we purchased the car. All the records are verified by the dealer. The standard warranty is 50,000 m. This engine/car has the Oil Consumption problem that precipitated the Class Action Suit. So, the car was used as designed, maintained as designed, - and it FAILED as designed! The failure is due to lack of lubrication of the Timing tensioner/chain. Something absolutely beyond the consumers control (beyond filling the engine as specified).4/5/15: The car is at the Dealership in Austin Texas - the Dealership says they have talked to Audi and both are trying to escape the manufacturers responsibility to fix the problem. It seems that the only (implied warranty) service to the customer that Audi will deliver is when threatened by a lawsuit (class action suit as prev). In summary: The engine was maintained as required; the car was used as designed; the consumer fulfilled all their responsibilities; the engine (built by a prior-respected engineering company) failed - beyond all control of the consumer within a small portion of the design life of the engine. How is it not Audis responsibility? Get decent Audi! Before another Class action suit gets kicked off.

Had a few issues with a European delivery, Audi customer support was a complete joke. They stood in the way of information and anything resembling a resolution. Very disappointing, DEFINITELY not a premium experience. To be avoided.
