Back in 2017, car had EPC light illuminated, would lose power while driving, would idle roughly and then not turn on. Had it towed to Audi Honolulu. Found electrical wiring burning through to the gas tank (couldve blown up) and so they replaced the gas tank and the wiring at their goodwill more like to save a lawsuit. Anyways April 2019 now, same issues with EPC light, idling and losing power then it not turning it on. Got it towed to Audi El Paso. Apparently, cylinder 1 and 2 in the engine are at 0 psi compression and we need a new engine.Mind you every service has been done at an Audi dealership and its only got 60,000 miles on it. Told they wont be covering any costs and told by Henry at Audi El Paso he wont even provide a loaner vehicle unless we agree to pay $10-13k for a new engine. What a joke. My thing is why wasnt this issue found in 2017 when the car had the exact same issues? Its their job to fix the car right. I am going to be taking my claim further until I get results. Googling the same car and I see so many people with the same issues. When will Audi take customers seriously? Makes you wonder how many Audis are a safety hazard driving around and could blow up any second. My families safety comes first and it should come first for Audi too.

Do your research before buying any Audi. It is always a headache when things go wrong, but it is unacceptable when Audi America blames loyal customers for Audis poor engine performance. While driving on a dark 2 lane highway in Vermont our Audi engine seized without warning. My college-age son waited alone for 5 hours before getting towed 40 miles to the nearest Audi service center. The following Monday Audi service shared the news that the engine had metal shavings in it, total engine failure. The car has 61,000 miles on it and had been well maintained. With service records in hand we took the case to Audi for review. Audi conducted a sloppy investigation and ultimately let us know that we were out of Warranty. Also, they pointed to a policy where they claim only Audi can service the car. When asked to produce the policy and to fact check the information in the case history, Audi stopped responding. David Weissland President of Audi America was included on all emails and was fully aware of our dilemma. He stood by the customer service resolution. Quotes for a new engine $12,000.00-$14,000.00. My son could have been killed; Audi has shown they do not care. If you have had this happen to you please file a report with NHTSA so that we can hold these criminals accountable.

Buyer Beware!!! These cars have transmissions and clutch issues!!! I purchased a 2021 brand new off the lot with only 6 miles and 5 months later I started having transmission issues barely escaping off the highway alive when the car decided to shut down on me. The engine light came on stating that I had transmission failure and it completely shut off after I barely made it off onto the ramp, luckily I was near an exit, otherwise it would have shut down on the highway. People please read up on Audi’s and their transmission issues before purchasing!!! Because the dealership will be of no service to you once the car starts to fail, they are in the business of making money!!!

Audi Q7 is a great family car. It had the largest and most comfortable third row and is the most spacious SUV that we found. It is sleek and great looking from the outside while the interior looks modern and has the latest technology. The interior lighting also feels very calming. As for the upgrade options, we got the technology and sports packages which included nicer wheels, better steering and everything from GPS to do radio.

Purchased 2009 Audi from Jack Daniels Audi in Upper Saddle Rive NJ about 2 years ago. Disrespect and deception seem to be the norm at this dealer, and I was soon to find out with Audi USA also. The car broke down within the first weeks of ownership. I was on my way to IL from NJ when it just died in PA. I called the dealer and they were no help saying call Audi USA. I informed the dealer I need a rental car to get home for work. Long story short, it took NJ consumer affairs action to get reimbursed. The car was eventually picked up, at my expense, and driven to IL. The car burned oil at a rate of 1 qt per 750 miles. Sometimes more. I informed the Audi dealer, they stated all Audis burn oil. It was unimaginable, this is how the car was designed. I was finally told by the dealer that a oil fix was available, and after 3 attempts, they said it was done. On attempt 4 I was told drive 100 miles and bring it back, didnt make 100 miles, and broke down on the side of the road. I was told the timing chain was no good and needed replacement, then I dont hear from the dealer for weeks. Dealer called 2 weeks later, saying rings, pistons and values need replacement, FOR EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION! 2 more weeks and I get a call from Audi USA that they WILL NOT ship the car to me in California. The car is in IL, ruined my familys vacation, and now its stuck there. Audi has even now backed out of their offer to make a deal on a new Audi even though I will NEVER buy another Audi. The car is junk, bad dealers, and horrible customer service.

So I own a 2013 Audi A4 with 83000 miles on. This car is very bad and unreliable. The car burns lot of oil. Last time when I went to the dealer and told them about the issue the guy was like, That not our problem. This issue is a thing that Audi must take care of. I believe as we consumers should pay a dollar because many people have this problem and Audi should recall their A4s.

My 2014 Audi A6 TDI Prestige is an absolutely great car, except for the leather driver’s seat stretching and getting dye transfer from clothing less than 2 months from purchase. While other luxury cars, with light colored interiors, do not suffer from dye transfer - the 2014 Audi does. I consulted independent leather experts that informed me that the aniline leather treatment method (dyes probably from Asia) experience problems. This is not as bad as leather stretching and looking aged/worn after 2 months. The sign of a great company is not that they are 100% problem free, but rather the way that issues are handled. I was looking for a win/win situation after buying 5 new Audis, but rather experienced total frustration with our 5th purchase.Overall, Audi builds a really great car - but, Audi of America customer service is terrible. In our free market economy, the result is Audi is losing a paying customer. Sad and a pity, but dealing with Audi of America has shown my wife and me that they really dont care about after sales customer satisfaction. We are only writing about our experience and resultant decision to not buy Audi products in the future. For the readers of this review, we can only highlight our saga and ask that you draw your own decision. Thanks.

I have a new 2017 Q7 Premium, 3500 miles. When pulling away from a stop sign or stop light, the engine pauses from time to time. So much so, that once in a while, it can be a safety hazard with oncoming traffic. Also, the GPS system works sometimes, and most of the time the routes are completely crazy, taking me 100s of miles out of the way of my destination. My car has been at the dealership for 5 days now, and they called yesterday to inform me that the pause is inherent to the vehicle, just get used to it! As for the GPS, corporate office knows it doesnt work, and they may or may not try and fix it?? So, this vehicle costs a pretty penny, but aint worth it. Im offering to leave it on their lot and walk away if I can have my money back??

Quattro is the wagon 4.2 liter inline six cylinder all wheel drive dream car I own. I wanted a sportscar with room for all the kids and cargo. This is a wagon thats an Audi! Two thumbs... only Porsche has anything close to its class (in my eyes). I find my car incredibly beautiful with a sporty look and room for everyone. Lots of horse power to the wheels and luxury everything inside. I did get upgraded rim size and style and performance in the stock rims. They actually got me a set of official 19 inch Audi touring race car rims, so I didnt mind the great but overpriced touring sport tires they sold me when they got in.

Ive purchased a brand new 2013 Audi S5 Cabriolet and took delivery from dealership in middle of 2012 with 4 years/50k warranty. 22 months into the ownership (at 9,500 driven miles) car started to pull to the side and required a wheel alignment at a cost of over $550. I was told that although the mileage was low, this wheel alignment is considered normal wear and tear. Although I strongly disagreed, I ended-up paying for it. Last week while driving, my front left tire completely deflated. After removing the tire in order to replace it with a spare I noticed that the inner part of rubber is showing steal metal belts. Next day I took the car to dealership and was told that:a) Car needs another wheel alignment (it currently has 19,300 miles on it). b) All 4 tires are under 3/32 (as measured by Audi Service Consultant) and need replacement even though they are rated for 50k. Since the car is still under warranty and since this is very odd that another alignments is needed and that I also now need to replace 50k rated tires on a car with 19,300 miles on it I called Audi Corporate office and opened a Case # ** with request for FULL reimbursement of expenses.Unfortunately Audi decided to decline my request, citing wear and tear. Im beyond of being disappointed and strongly disagree that this is normal wear and tear. After consulting with my legal counselor who has advised me that I have over 90% chance of successfully getting Audi to reimburse me for wheel alignment and tires and therefore, in addition to filing this complaint with bbb.org I will also be taking Audi to Small Claims court and will publish verdict with details of the case on as many blog sites as I can find. After all Im certain that Im not the only customer with similar problem and will make other consumers aware of possible issues/pitfalls they may be facing if they buy an Audi! Lack of responsibility by Audi after selling a luxury and expensive automobile in unacceptable and will not go unchallenged.

I lease an Audi A3, 2018. Within 11 months the car starts to lose power, while driving the car would be going 65 miles then randomly drops to 5 miles then starts back up, in 20-30 seconds. Went to Audi with the problem. They can’t find the problem or mimic the problem so they have the car back. It did it again while driving on the highway??? The car lost power and the driver behind me, switch lane to avoid me and ran into another car. I brought the car to Audi for over 5 months, and nothing can’t be resolved. Spoke to Audi of America, spoke to Terice and she was trying to help me, then she told me the same thing Audi tells their customer, The problem can’t be mimic, so they can’t do anything about it. This is one of my worst experience with a Auto Company and I will get my lawyers involve.

So I purchased a pre-owned 2007 Audi A4 2.0T with 40K miles and the car has been a lemon since the day I bought it. The turbo blew and we replaced it, and now the motor blows!!! Audi USA told us that the motor blew because of a camshaft issue known to this vehicle and that all would be covered under warranty. We took it to 2 dealerships and they BOTH refused the issue. How can such a new car become completely worthless??! They want us to pay $15K to change the motor! We cant even drive the car. AUDI is a terrible company to work with, and not once did they help us. I am so disappointed and disgusted with my 2009 Audi A5 that I cannot even express how bad my Audi experience is so far. I should have stayed with my Mercedes Benz. I took my car to the Audi dealership to get my window fixed and they actually caused 3 more things to break on the car and now I have to pay for it when the car is under warranty?? They put a faulty motor for my window which caused a short and now my xenon headlight is not working and they want me to pay for the headlight which they caused to break. My 5 year old Audi A5 with 54,000 miles needs a new engine due to Audi having fitted a faulty cam shaft adjuster and faulty piston rings. I was getting 200 miles to a litre of oil and the top of the engine being starved of oil due to the faulty cam shaft adjuster. My cars worth £11000 approx. The engine replacement is almost £12000. Having contacted customer services who said theyll try and help with the costs and have now said they wont. The dealer has managed to reduce the cost to £10,250. Im convinced its due to the above mentioned fault recall code 15d6. Im told you cant determine when that engine was made to clarify this. I just thought Id be shown a bit more goodwill as the cars only 5 years old.

We purchased a very clean, well maintained, used Audi A4 3.0 CVT with only 26,000 miles on it from a Range Rover/Audi dealer for our daughter as she went off to college in 2010. We had planned this car, being German built with Innovation through Technology to last her until she graduated and was able to get her first job. The Audi was serviced on a regular basis, then at 42,000 miles the transmission started acting up. After numerous trips to dealer and mechanics, the news was the transmission was shot and it would take $8,500 to repair/replace. The Audi at 48,000 miles is now a parked. A worthless hulk of nuts & bolts. After countless calls with Audi America, polite lip service with no results. We were extremely disappointed to find that Audi America simply does not stand behind their brand.Upon further research, discovered there was a class action suit to a poor design on the CVT Automatic Transmission, which accused Audi of concealing problems from consumers. Audi denied allegations but agreed to reimburse some customers...mmm. An indirect admission? We unfortunately discovered this settlement too late in the process as a result of no communication or proactive involvement by Audi. We have no recourse on our initial investment which equaled to 1/2 years of college tuition. Although my daughter did enjoy her 3 1/2 years driving an Audi at college, the reliability and disappointment by Audi America not supporting their Audi brand will forever taint all of us. Audi will be viewed as the inferior German car that cant be trusted.Closing note: Daughter is about to graduate college and she is considering her purchase on a new car when she starts her job. Her final will not include Audi, but a more respective brand this time around; BMW, Mercedes Benz, Mini, Lexus? We, our friends and anyone else we come across who may be interested in an Audi, will certainly hear the story of our college student deceived by Audis Truth in Engineering. No such thing!

I purchased a Certified Pre Owned Audi A8 with 17K miles. Audi claims they have a 300 point checklist and vigorous standards for accepting vehicles in to the program, for which there is usually a premium to pay. When I received my vehicle, it was immediately very evident, while the car was still on the transport truck that it had been in a serious accident. The entire drivers side of the vehicle had been repaired and repainted. There are still creases in the front and rear door. The paint is mismatched. Sand marks are still visible under the paint. The windshield was replaced with the incorrect windshield so the heads up display does not function properly. One tire had extensive damage and was plugged adjacent to side wall. I was advised not to drive the vehicle with that tire by our local Goodyear Tire Center. There is paint overspray on the instrument cluster and dash that simply will not come out. I can continue on - the car is a mess. The dealer isnt responding so I called Audi. My customer care experience with Audi has been atrocious. They have absolutely no concern that one of their dealers sold a car as certified but didnt check the simplest of items. The damaged tire alone should have precluded the car from being certified. The first person from Audi Customer Care that I spoke to ask me so what do you want Audi to do? Well, I guess that about sums it up. They fight tooth and nail to escalate the problem to management, and when they said they would - i had to call them back, Its been nearly three weeks. I advise you to stay away from Audi Certified Pre Owned vehicles. They program isnt worth the paper it is written on. Ive purchased CPO BMWs and Porsches in the past and had fabulous experiences. Audi just doesnt measure up. Im embarrassed that Ive allowed myself to be taken advantage of this way, and Im furious that Audi just doesnt care.

Beware if you are an Audi owner. I love their cars but their customer service sucks! I have had the same part on my vehicle replaced every year for 6 years. No one could find out the problem so I assumed they would just keep doing this. Wrong! If you have ANY repair service done, even at the dealership, make sure you call up Audi Customer Service and get a Case ID number. The repair on your vehicle, even through a dealership, is NOT accessible to anyone else. In other words, unless you call up Audi every time you have an issue they will not accept that it even occurred. Receipts dont help.My dealership was repairing the part out of what they call goodwill. What is that? I thought they were repairing it because of a design or part flaw on their part. It should be expected to be replaced. I shouldnt have to be grateful they fixed my car! This last time the repair lasted a year and a half so the warranty on the vehicle and that part is over. Its only $1100 to fix a door seal! Maybe because they should last the life of the vehicle.

The engine block, subframe and underbody should be coated to resist corrosion, but it is not what looks like - probably a defect in the material, but still Audi does not honor the warranty. My beliefs on my favorite car manufacturer are corroded as long as the structural & vital parts of my car.

2011 S Line Q7 WORST CAR EVER AND AUDI does not back products. At 30k miles had so many issues that was in shop over a month and had to pull engine. I asked Audi to trade it for me for a 2011 with similar Miles at no cost and they never responded. I went to Executive Office - They would not even address my question. All they asked was, is my car fixed. Did not address my request, a no would have been fine but instead - just ignored me. Joke Steve ** is not big on customer satisfaction. I beg you - go to Mercedes. GL is better vehicle and service is 1000 times better.

Audi has plenty of models and always are available to choose and purchase. The sellers are always nice with you and show you the best deal. Cars always have an appearance of a luxury car in both sides, outside and inside. It also provide the best comfort while driving, make it pretty excited to drive my car and drive with friends and it also provide the best technology for a trip. I have taken my car to install some features in the back of my car, including the exhaust pipe, I have also changed the steel wheels to make it look more pretty and luxury. The passenger capacity on my car is also acceptable. It always have been comfortable for my passengers or family when we have a trip. Its the best deal.

The brakes on my Audi S5 failed completely at the weekend, with 3 children in my car travelling at 70 mph... and luck more than anything that I didnt have a major crash. No warning light, nothing to suggest there was a problem - one moment I had full braking capability, the next nothing. Went to Audi Uk, and because I cant prove beyond doubt that it is a car fault... they arent interested. I have bought 3 Audis new in the last 10 years - £150k spent to date and wont ever buy another one. Awful customer service! It could happen to you.

Audi ULTRA S-TRNC Gearbox FAILS weeks out of warranty on 38 month old A6. Bought an AUDI A6 Ultra S-TRNC July 2016. Have full service history with Audi. Approved garages spending over £35k, out of the blue Friday 2/09/19 heard a strange whining noise from the engine. Took it into Audi Stirling who advised Gearbox pump had failed and resulted in gearbox damage, it will cost £9117.60 to fix, neither the dealership I bought it from Audi Stirling or Audi UK all the way up to the Managing Director were interested and refused to help me. Just kept saying out of warranty. Their aftercare is appalling and when you investigate the Gearbox online the internet is littered with Ultra S-TRNC fails with no help from AUDI. Not even a warning light on the dashboard lights up no warning at all. Today I have written to WATCHDOG and to 2 national papers. Not what you expect from a leading car manufacturer!!!!

For many months I’ve had issues with the Audi website. Trying to pay my car payment online is a hassle and becomes a giant waste of time each month. The online financial services portal on their website always has issues and makes it impossible to make your payment online without calling customer service. When you try to get a hold of anyone through the phone whether it’s Audi or Audi Financial there’s an extremely long hold time, and if you take advantage of the “call back” option they have you may be able to get a call back days or even weeks later in some of my personal experiences. As I’m writing this review this issue still has not been resolved. If you are looking to finance your vehicle through Audi Financial, or care about having a good customer service experience I would highly suggest you rethink choosing Audi. So far I have enjoyed my vehicle and haven’t had any issues as a first time Audi owner, but this customer service experience will definitely be a huge part of any future decision I may make about purchasing a vehicle through Audi. Customer service and online ease of use go hand in hand with a quality vehicle, especially when it’s a luxury brand.

My car is black, super shiny and is an all wheel drive. Its fast and has a great stereo system. Leather seats are awesome. My favorite part is that the seats are heated. I also love the look of the cars logo. My car draws the attention of people quite often. The wheels look nice and sharp. I can always personalize my car. Id love to add turbo to make my car go super fast. I love racing others in my Audi. I can paint it if I wanted or add a better sunroof. I can fit all my friends inside. We all go on long rides. It never looks like a clown car. Theres plenty of space in the back and the front of the car. It has electronic seats to move forward and back if more room is needed. I love Audis!

2015 Audi A4 brakes are an embarrassment. Brakes squeak when cold or wet, not a little but enough to turn heads at stop signs and in parking garages. The dealers recommendation was to drive down the freeway at 65 or 70 mph and stomp on them engage the ABS. Great, safe advice - thanks Audi. Im glad to see that Audi has known about the issue dating back to (at least) 2012 from owner experience blogs - but pay their customers the same lip service in 2016 as they did four years ago were aware and were working on a solution. So much for Truth in Engineering.

The car is constantly in for service. 25 trips to dealer in 4 years. Towed 6 times. AC at 3k broke, door handle for $600, Audi lied about oiling issue, and after national class action, they did a poor job of repairing motor. Timing chain sent 3 codes while under warranty and they cleared and sent us home. At 28k/98k miles, the timing chain failed and the engine repairs were $14k... Audi did not handle our requests very well. After a lot of patience, they only offered to sell us another Audi. Only to say our $50k car was worth $5500 with 98k miles. Great looking car, Audi just isnt worth the poor service issues...

I purchased my 2012 Audi TT used with approximately 7,000 miles on it. I drive the car regularly without any issue and am currently at 38,000 miles. One day the car stopped operating properly and was towed to the Sewickley Audi Dealership, a certified Audi Dealership. After various diagnosis, the service department contacted me to inform me that the car will need an entirely new engine! I was shocked. Although the car was a 2012, the mileage was relatively low for needing an entire new engine. A car should not age because an owner did not drive it year round (which is likely what the original owner did).Audi USA and the dealership offered to covered 75% of the cost of the new engine and the repair because the warranty had expired 1.5 months ago. I was very disappointed in this. I still cannot believe that a car with 38,000 miles could possibly need a new engine. With no other option, I paid for 25% of the repair at $2,500. I will never buy another Audi.

She called me one evening and told me that the engine light came on and the car had slowed down. Luckily, she was 5 minutes from her apartment and close to an auto shop. When she parked the car, all of the oil leaked out. I had to pay for a replacement engine because there was internal damage and a hole in the oil pan. I love Audi the car, but Audi financial services is an absolute nightmare.
I love Audi the car, but Audi financial services is an absolute nightmare. I lease an Audi A4 in 2011. I leased a car from Audi in 2011 and promptly returned the car in outstanding condition a few days before the end of the lease. About a week before returning the car, some vandalism was done on a fender. I put a claim in with my insurance company and the car was completely detailed not on for the fender but bumper etc. It looked almost in showroom condition. BTW I live in Manhattan. The lease also allowed me to have 30,000 miles on the car. When I returned the car, it only had a little over 14,000 miles on it. If I still needed a car, I would have bought it. I even asked friends if they may be interested in buying it from me if I bought it. It was that much of a deal. Audi employs a vendor named SGS to do car inspections. The inspector spent over an hour inspecting every inch of the car. At times he actually pulled out a magnifying glass! I have leased many cars and have never had an inspector like this. I was outraged when he listed tiny scratches, a tiny ding on the side door and a hairline crack in the rear tail light. He gave me an estimate of what I need to pay for Excess wear and tear. I kept asking him do define excess wear and tear. He showed me a tiny scratch on the hood that exceeded 2/3 of an inch or something like that. I kept saying that the tiny scratch is far from excess wear and tear. Finally I just grabbed his write and decided to call Audi myself. About two months later, Audi called me asking for proof that I turned in my car. I asked her why they dont just get the information from Audi Manhattan where I returned the car. She said that Audi Manhattan is difficult to communicate with and it was easier to just get the information from me. I run a small business and do not have time to do someone elses job. I explained that Audi Financials internal problems are not my problem, but if I find the document I will send it to them. About a month later, sure enough, I found the document, made a copy and sent it to Audi Financial. I then get a bill 5 months later from Audi Financial for over $1,000. There were excess wear and tear charges AND they claimed I turned in the car 20 days late. (I turned the car in early.) So the fighting with Audi financial will continue. There are a lot of hot cars out there. You dont need Audi. I have leased from Lexus and Toyota. I had no wear and tear charges with them and never had the car put through the body shop a week before returning it! DONT LEASE FROM AUDI!!

After bringing my 2012 Audi S5 with 30,000 miles to Audi NYC several times, and without them being able to resolve my issues - I contacted Audi corporate offices hoping they can assist in resolving my issues with extremely squeaky brakes. After explaining several times to Audi corporate employees and this supervisor, my issues were brushed off and I was presented with their proposed resolution which was to lubricate my brake pads, a procedure that had already been performed on my vehicle previously without resolving the issues. I would caution anyone against purchasing a new or used Audi solely based on their horrendous customer service and deceptive service practices. I purchased a new 2017 Audi Q7 and almost immediately notice an obnoxious squealing noise from the front brakes, especially when they were cold. On multiple occasions I mentioned this to my service advisor at Bluegrass Audi when I was having work done on the vehicle. I was consistently told that the noise was normal and was just due to the nature of the brake pads. I recently received a notice of a Class Action Settlement, “Mercado v Volkswagen Group…: that specifically addressed this very issue and I have also learned that there were several Technical Service Bulletins (2050735/1) issued in early 2018 by Audi that addressed this issue and specifically how service departments should fix the issue. Unfortunately, my service department never addressed this issue and I am apparently stuck dealing with the obnoxious squealing. I contacted Audi USA to see what could be done and was told they could not offer any assistance and my only option would be to take legal action on my own. This is tremendously disappointing for a company that holds itself out as consumer focused.

I purchased my Audi S7 as a CPO at 49000 miles. The moment I received the car I noticed it had unusual shifting between 1st and 2nd gear, and how it behaves with just stop and go movement. It would be worst in stop and go traffic where the transmission would make a clunky noise and could be felt under the floor. So far they’ve updated ECM and Transmission Software, replaced Mechatronics, replaced multiple motor mounts and control arms ball joints etc, replaced weeping coolant and transmission fluid lines... and after being the 6th week in the shop currently they will replace the Dual Clutch and hope this solves the problem. This has already been my 4th time in the shop and the car has now spent over 60 days in the shop for the same issue. I’m even hesitant to take the car back anymore knowing how hard it was to battle a transmission problem from the start. It’s unfortunate all Techs only look for Fault Codes on a Computer when the problem can be a caused by a mechanical failure. At the end of the day, it’s not a shop foreman’s car, and he will never feel what you feel with the vehicle.

Car failed the oil consumption test in April 2016 full rebuild of engine followed. Never ran right since. Have been back 4 times with cylinder 3 misfire code. Dealer changed Coils, injectors. New spark plugs. Now Im told it is carbon build up on the intake valves, and it needs to come apart again to clean the valves. They had it apart 3 times and no mention of carbon. Carbon build up is called contamination so the extended warranty policy I purchased from them (Fidelity) does not cover this. Fuel injector cleaner, like Sea Foam will prevent this if used periodically. This is not mentioned in any Maintenance schedule. Lost all faith in the Audi mechanics I had my local mechanic de-carbon the valves with NO results 78,000 miles on the car and I am at a loss. Lemon laws dont cover it. They all have navigation, Bluetooth, etc. Most of the SUVs have sun roofs too. They are very beautiful from the inside and out. You can choose from no features, to all features. It gives you a wide option to personalize and and upgrade your vehicle. Another thing is that to upgrade it is very reasonable prices. The passenger capacity is also amazing. This is an Australian review of a sale conducted in Australia and this matter is due to be hear at a tribunal hearing later this month, but thought I would share my experience as l am sure, well l am certain it happens by default to many others. Purchased the 2013 Q5, fully optioned for around $90K AUD, as a tempter to buy from this dealer, they gave me the Audi Corporate Package - (3 years free service and invitations to corporate events, race days, family days etc.). Noticed in the first 3 months when I went out on long drives, the Sat Nav was giving out inaccurate road directions, wrong time estimates for arrival, in some cases up to 2 - 3 hours difference. On a highway that a bypass built some 4 years ago, when I was on that bypass, it didn’t exist on my maps, according to the Sat Nav on was driving on farmland, but clearly I wasn’t - it was obvious the Sat Nav had software that was many years old. When I went to book my first service - I was told that the first service was going to cost me $1000 (this was some 9 months after I purchased the car), I said NO I get free servicing for 3 years, he said NO, I can’t see anything, so you have to pay, so I showed him my Audi corporate card and then he says, oh yes okay, it’s free. I tell him that the Sat Nav needs an upgrade because it’s so old - he says, that will cost $800 - I tell him the car is brand new when I purchased it - in fact it wasn’t even on the lot, l was waiting for it to arrive from Germany, that’s how new the car was - he said, it’s a spare part and so you have to pay $800.I speak to the sales guy who sold me the car - he sympathizes, says he will see what he can do, but invariably the expectation is the consumer needs to pay - I never hear back from him. I call the General Manager of the dealer and he bluntly states, it’s a part you have to pay for it - that they sold the car as is from the manufacturer. So I call Audi Australia and they say it has nothing to do with them, that the sale was between myself and the dealer and I have to take it back there.I call Australian consumer affairs, they send out an officer and he negotiates a compromise that I pay 50% of the retail price of the upgrade - I refuse. Matter is before a tribunal hearing later this month. I call Audi Australia and say in 11 months, I have never been invited to any Audi event, any family day, race day, corporate function, yet it was part of the purchase price of the car and influenced where the car was purchased from. Audi Australia calls back - oh yes we see we didn’t do that, well we will make you a priority for the next event. To this day, priority has not equated to definite, nor have I been told what event, or when it’s at - nor by virtue of the fact that I hold a valid corporate Audi pack, that I should be invited to attend that event anyway so nothing was been offer to compensation the last 11 months - so now the hearing will be on 2 counts. I am told by Audi, that Audi upgrade their software on the Sat Nav every 4 years and I purchased my car on the 24th of December 2013, and the global upgrade happened on the 14th of Jan 2014, so it was just bad luck for me.One of the many claims is that a product was sold that was not fit for purpose and the selling a car as is, doesn’t apply to a new car, it needs to be fit for purpose and the reasonable intention of purpose. I would never of thought a company like Audi would conduct itself in the manner above, I am quite appalled and hence the litigation - this issues themselves aren’t big issues, but the conduct of both the dealer and the corporate company are appalling and rely on the fact that over here, people may think it’s too expensive or not worth the time to take them on - well game on Audi! Having said that, the Q5 is a fantastic car, one of the best I have ever had, but will never buy another one again!

Please be aware that Audi subcontracts out their Roadside Assistance. I was stranded for 2 hours with a flat tire. The Jack Rabbit company Audi uses accepted a call to assist me. I waited 2 hours. They did not show up. When I called to ask where they were they stated they do not change tires. No one called to let me know. Audi then called a different subcontracted company who sent a teenager who was unable to change my tire because he could not locate the wheel locks. He was never inserviced on its location.I had to call Audi back and after 3 hours they sent a flat bed to tow my car to Audi. I paid for this poor service for 3 years. They do not notify their customers that Roadside assistance is subcontracted out to multiple incompetent poorly inserviced vendors. In addition a Audi subcontracted company inspected my car at lease end. It received a score with no issues that I was responsible for. Within 48 hours I had 2 tires with nails in them. One had blown out while driving. Did they truly inspect the car thoroughly? I hope this helps all who read this and please do your own due diligence to verify their Roadside Assistance Protocols.

I have always believed in the Audi brand - the prestige of a German engineered vehicle was something I aspired to drive. Two years ago, my mother bought a new 2012 Q5. This was when I set my mind to buying my own Audi. A little over a year ago, I bought my first vehicle, a used 2010 A4. I could not have been more thrilled, and always offered to drive friends and family around, just to show off my new ride. From the moment I purchased my A4, all I could think about was buying the next Gen version or even the new A3 that I ogled over at the Detroit Auto Show. Unfortunately my perspective on the quality of an Audi built vehicle has changed entirely. My complaint is with Audi, not the dealership. My car has less than 100,000 miles on it and has a MAJOR engine failure outside of recall/warranty. For a car to need a camshaft and 2 cylinders replaced at 4 years old (amounting to $5,500-$9,000 in repairs) signals a defective engine, not bad luck. The car has never missed a service appointment. The entire situation is completely ridiculous.I will never purchase or do business with Audi again. The level of interest shown in my personal well-being and overall desire to do the right thing is mind-boggling, and I have never in my life seen such apathy from a company towards a customer with a major mechanical failure outside of their control. I had planned for this to be my first Audi. After this debacle it is definitely my last.

I purchased a new 2019 A8 - and there is a problem with the software on the engine control module. This leads to misfires and power loss - and Audi has no fix for the issue (they are suggesting a software update will be coming in 9 months). How can you sell a $95k car and not stand behind it - just a joke - Audi should be ashamed.

I have informed about the same to the local dealer but they refuse to look after our complaint. Hoping for a quick action.

Hello car friends, well I am here to share my experience with Audi cars. I warn you this is not going to be a good review. My first experience with a Audi was a A-6 year of 2008. The electronic problems were non stop from windows to internal lights to the motor engine lights going bad in my car seat to my power window motor failing to my radio not shutting off which yes eventually drained my battery and left me stranded. This all happen with my car just being 3 yrs old. I can’t stress enough how unreliable Audi cars can be. There is more, my timing chain, starter also went bad all within 80,000 miles. I decided to sell the car and upgrade to a Q-5. What a huge mistake this decision was as well. My repairs on my Q-5 2013 have been even more of a headache. I noticed there are other reviews on here with other cars burning oil. Well I’m also a victim as well of the car burning oil with just 70,000 miles on the car. Thankfully it was under warranty but what a nightmare of experience. The dealership had my car for 3 weeks. The dealership is in upper saddle river NJ. This happen in the summer of 2017. Fast forward to just 2 weeks ago 03-19-2018 the car just skip timing I’ve been told the car is beyond repair and requires a new engine with just 110,000 miles that’s right a new engine. Thankfully I purchased the extended warranty. I can’t wait to get my car back. It’s going for sale immediately! Audi needs to stop worrying about the look of the car and focus on the soul of the car. I’ll never buy a Audi again!!!

I am the owner of a 2009 Audi 1.8t of which clutch failed on 86000 km. After I complain about the clutch at Audi Paarl, they convince me that there was nothing wrong with the clutch. I drove from Worcester to George in the middle of the night and the clutch failed completely. The car is still under motor plan but Audi in George dont want pay the damage because, according to them, the car is not standard and the cars suspension is modified. I have been financed 3 Audi A3s and previously have upgraded and re-financed but when my renewal came up on my 3rd I decided to pay it off & keep the car - I had no confidence in the staff & was not comfortable using them again. This is a shame as in the past theyve always been great - I dont know what theyve changed but now they are atrocious! Sales staff either have no knowledge or are not allowed to work out figures. My appointment to discuss refinance/upgrade options was booked by Audi with a sales rep. but every time we needed a figure he had to go to the manager for 10-15 mins and then come back to us to repeat what the manager had said!! I asked for a monthly figure on a particular car if I didnt pay a deposit & when I said I couldnt afford the figure his response was Its only 20 a month more than you told me you could afford, cant you find that?!!What a disgraceful thing to say to a customer, if he thinks an individual can find it, then surely an international company can work a deal so THEY find it! A few days later I called & asked if they could re-quote if I were able to pay a small deposit (if I sold mine privately and used the sale money to pay deposit), and was given EXACTLY THE SAME MONTHLY PAYMENT FIGURE as when I wasnt paying a deposit!! When I questioned this the salesman blamed me as he said I took the print out of his original quote so he no longer knew what that was!! Overall he showed no interest in looking after an existing customer & getting them to continue doing business with Audi, he had no idea what information he had previously given and left me feeling that I couldnt trust him or Audi as a company. Ive always loved Audis but Im very sad to say that based on this experience I will not use them again.

This car will last me forever. Great high end car. Comes with all the bells and whistles like your butt to be warm. Love the leather which means I get heated seats. The sunroof is so great to have even if you only need a little air. Automatic windows are great. Could use a few more upgrade but for the most part I am happy with what I have and could not dream about getting rid of it anytime soon. There is plenty of leg room for everyone. There is even 3rd row which is nice when you ride the extra room. I would never get rid of my car.

Took my car at the appointed time (11 am) in for a full service (309) it was running perfectly well no faults whatsoever. They said the service would take about 1-2 hrs. I contacted Audi at 3 pm to say I was calling to collect my vehicle. They said the lady that dealt with you is just on the phone, Ill ask her to ring you back. I waited 20 mins, rang again, told them how long Id been waiting and want to speak to a manager. Again they said Ill get the manager to ring you straight back. 45 mins later and fuming I rang again. This time they said your car is just being washed now it will be about 15 mins. Now my car has a fault, its jerking and jumping as if it is being starved of fuel. I have just looked at the air filter and its. The one I put in 18 months ago, in my service book its (air filter) been ticked as replaced and crossed out and ticked as not replaced. So no new air filter, not even cleaned, fluids NOT topped up they said thats extra. So almost six hours for a service. I dont think a Boeing 747 would take that long. Bad service, certainly the longest, lied to several times. Get your service book stamped by any reputable garage. Audi is NOT all its cracked up to be very, very expensive and work NOT carried out.

We own an Audi A4, and loving it. The car was serviced regularly at Pacific Audi. The only problem we experienced was with the oil consumption, it took up oil like we have never seen in any car before. We complained a few times before warranty was up, but nothing was done. When we elevate our complaint (after warranty period), this is what Pacific Audi Svc folks told us because we waited too long, i.e. post warranty period, it will cost $500+ to do the oil consumption test, and if our car needs to have the piston replaced it will cost about $10K - $15K. We were livid. We took the car to Long Beach AUDI for 2nd option again. Our Audi A4 is a great car, handling is great. We are actually considering another Audi. We will NEVER return to PACIFIC AUDI again to buy or to have our car serviced. They always tried to gauge us. There was always a problem, if not one thing its another. We had to bring it to our mechanic for a 2nd opinion because we dont trust them, this time we took it to Long Beach AUDI. Read more if you want to know how much Long Beach AUDI charged us to fix the oil problem.

In 2014 I had purchased a 2006 Audi A3 with 30,000 miles, with a clean title. It was great for the first year or so and once it hit 60,000 miles, I had absolutely nothing but problems. Around 60,000 miles, I was on the expressway, and my car started to jolt back and forth, that ended up being because the fuel rail sensor went bad. A couple thousand miles later, my alternator goes bad, without any warning, leaving me stranded. Shortly thereafter, I was on my way to class and I had a severe cylinder misfire. Mind you, this is all within less than a years time. After all of those issues were fixed, I thought everything that could have possibly broken was fixed. Next thing you know, my A/C is now only blowing cold air when Im going 80 MPH down the expressway and blowing hot air when its idling or going slower than 80. I also got my car scanned to see why the check engine light turned on again, and it turns out that I have another two cylinder misfires and my fuel pump is going bad. This car only has 70,000 miles on it and has had more problems than I ever imagined. I am beyond disappointed in Audi and the quality of their vehicles and how unreliable they are. I will most definitely not be purchasing another Audi or any German car for that matter.

I have never owned an Audi product, so I decided to lease a 2017 Audi Q7 3.
I have never owned an Audi product, so I decided to lease a 2017 Audi Q7 3.0 to determine if I would shift from the Benz and BMW world. The car is good, very good but I have problems with obtaining satisfactory maintenance service. My first bad experience was at Audi of Silverspring, MD where I schedule to take my car in and booked a Loaner. On getting there, I was referred to Enterprise somewhere at the back of the Audi facilities. Enterprise wasted my time and within one hour, the provided 2 cars that did not work. I called my Service Associate multiple times and left messages. I did not get him and he never replied my call. At the edge of one hour, I decided to go back to Audi. I still did not meet my Service Associate. I told them to give me my car and left in annoyance without doing the service (they have not started working on it after one hour). I took it to Audi of Bethesda, MD but was very dissatisfied with their service as well - location difficult to locate, no clear directions that the Dealership location is different from the Service Center, poor estimation of completion time, technicians handled the car roughly and carelessly. I tried reaching through the text I got but no response even though the text stated I could use it to reach my service technician - bad responsiveness. On the next one, I went back to Silverspring and planned to wait while the service was done so I would not run into issues of getting a Loaner car. I got my car back but before I drove back home, the lever used to open the Hood fell off like three times. I kept putting it back and it kept coming off. I then decided to keep it in the Glove Compartment but before that, I took a picture and sent it to the Audi Silverspring SMS text line that the Service Person uses to communicate. I explained and requested a callback. I never got one but after 2 weeks, I got a text asking if I was satisfied. I referred him to my earlier SMS with the picture but never got a response back up till now. I called to leave a message to advise I was trying to get this resolved before leaving an online feedback - no response. Great cars but very poor maintenance service department(s).

I took in the car as the windows smash and grab gets scratched out every time I open the windows (all of them). Response was a sorry and they took it in to be fixed. 2015/11/26 - My car went in for a service and they smashed it and had to wait until January driving a smashed car. Brand new car now turned into a smashed one and I must just accept a sorry???Response was: It is regrettable that your car got damaged whilst in for service. We do sincerely apologize for the mishap despite us taking extreme caution with our customers cars. Please understand that we do not plan these things but they do happen at all dealerships. We are transparent and accept responsibility for the incident. I have arranged for your car to come in around the 2nd week of January 2016 once everything returns to normal. And then they ask me not to rate them with Audi SA - May I please ask that you do not participate in the survey with IPSOS should they decide to call you. May I ask that you rather participate in the survey once we have repaired the damage on your car? This rating is very important to us and I think the whole experience has been tainted by this unfortunate event. Now I went over a month ago as here is a list of problems. Loud sound when I hit the brakes and go over humps, the car cuts power when I drive it, the car doesnt lock, the dashboard and speedometer switches off while Im driving, when you put the car on reverse it does the opposite and when you put it on drive it reverses before it moves forward (at my sons school when I put it on drive it reversed into another car). The soft top needs to be tightened as well, no rain sensor as well, its as if electrically it is messed up.Over a month ago they asked me to bring it in and one of their technicians drove around Sandton to listen and also said he knows what the problem is so I need to book it in and it will take days to fix it. I asked if I will get a loan car and they said ok. When we went back to their office where they said the booking agents were in a meeting and I must just leave my number, they did phone me and booked it in for the 8th of June. When the car started not locking I phoned them again as I was very worried then Ismail asked me to bring it in this Monday, I asked for my loan car and was told I will never get one as the previous guys did not even book a loan car for me and if I want to wait then they can only fix and give me a loan car in July.Clearly Audi doesnt care about the owners safety. I decided I have to take it as I fear for my life, I dropped it off at Audi on Monday morning and even today I havent got feedback as to what is wrong with the car??? I really thought the technician that drove with me said he knew where the problem is. I really want Audi to give me my money and take their car back. I seriously dont think its fair that its their technical fault and I must suffer!!! Now I phoned at 7h25 today to speak to Ismael or the dealer principal (was told Ismael is around but they cant get hold of him and the dealer principal will be in around 1 pm). I still dont know what is wrong with my car or HOW IM GETTING HOME TODAY as I had to take Uber to come to work and drop off my son.

We recently purchased an Audi Q3. The car has been with us for 5 months and has a 5000+ plus on it. Suddenly, the front wheel developed bubbles. Now all wheels have alignment problem. They informed us that bubbles are due to potholes. As far as my recollection goes, there has not been any major potholes that we encountered. I am extremely unhappy with the way the car has deteriorated in standard over the past few months. I believe I am talking about premium luxury car whose features had been put to vast testing and certified of performance that has enabled them over the years to set such high price value. But if a tire alignment could change and develop bubble if the car goes through a pothole, I am seriously wondering the kind of test they have done to certify it. How could I trust this car when I travel in snow? I am extremely disappointed with the car. I had once liked Audi so much that we did not look at any other brands hoping it would be truth in engineering as promised. But now I regret my decision.

There was a recall on oil consumption on my 2011 Audi Q5. I took it to the dealership to have them check and repair, as soon as I got the information. I did this every time the oil light went on. They put in oil, reported back that all was well. Then, at time before this last one, ran a test, said to come back in 1,000 miles. This last time, the oil light went on and I went to service. They ran tests, now Audi says that I need a complete piston job at 77,804 miles. This is a modern car, how is it I should need a engine rebuilt at these miles. The appearance of the car is very high end. The color choices are great too and they let you choose the colors of the car and let you do any upgrades you think would be better for the car. I also love the fact that I can suit it to my style and that it looks sporty but is also a great family car. Typically you can only hold one other passenger in the sedan models but they all have SUVs which hold more people so its good for families.

I took delivery of an Audi A8L that I purchased from Audi of Fairfield (in Connecticut) on September 1, 2011. I already owned a BMW 5 series and another car, but neither had all-wheel drive. So I wanted to get the Audi before the first snow. I took delivery on Sept. 1 only to accommodate the dealer, Audi of Fairfield, who wanted to close the sale in time for an end-of-month bonus. On Sept 1, Audi was offering $3000 to BMW owners who purchased an A8, but you have to own the 7 series, not the 5 series. Six days later, on Sept. 7, Audi of America extended the offer to those A8 purchasers (like me) who own a BMW 5 series. Neither the dealer nor Audi of America feels the least bit obligated to extend the offer to me. If you bought a $20 shirt at a department store and it went on sale 6 days later for $18, there isnt a department store in America that wouldnt give you the $2. But it seems that when you buy a $90,000 Audi 8L from Audi of Fairfield and take delivery earlier than you needed the car to accommodate the dealer, neither the dealer nor the parent company will extend to you a $3000 rebate that you become eligible to receive only six days later! I want to sue the **, perhaps by claiming that their behavior violates the covenant of good faith and fair dealing that courts in most jurisdictions read into contracts.

I have been attempting to use the Audi US website (as well as Audis global website) for over 3 hours as of 3:55 PM US Eastern Time on 28 April 2019. Audi - whether at their US or audi.com (global) website provides no way to contact Audi - whether by phone, by chat or by email and whether at their global or US websites to deal with this issue. I was trying to start the purchase of an Audi. So as to German competitors to Audi - both the BMW and Mercedes websites work perfectly and responsively. Given this experience, I will not be purchasing an Audi/Volkswagen/Porches for my new care, which I will buy in 2019. What a sad state of affairs for a global company, which has violated pollution control laws in the very recent past in the EU, USA and possibly elsewhere.

2004 Audi TT transmission problems! 70k miles and Audi wants $7000 to replace my transmission! I got all the routine oil change and services. The car has been garage kept, one owner (me) and its been babied. It jerks, bucks, jumps and the tires squeal and peel out when Ive been on the road for only about 15 minutes. Its like getting whiplash every time you drive! Audi headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI offered me a trade-in! Fred Lavery Dealership in Birmingham said transmission needs complete replacement. Really? **? The car only has 70k miles on it and has been the scheduled services. I have done nothing wrong! Ryan, the so-called Eastern District Supervisor at Audi, said Im asking too much of Audi to take care of this; its passed the 50k warranty! He said if I would have done this earlier in 2008, they would have replaced the transmission. Really? Thats how Audi treats customers? I checked the internet. There are hundreds of Audis with transmission problems just like this! There should be a 100k warranty from the factory on the transmission and Audi should stand behind their vehicles. Audi knows this problem exists with TTs. Im going to file a lemon law complaint and contact the president of Audi until this is fixed! I spent way too much money on this high performance vehicle to have the transmission crap out like this, and then theyre going to stick it to me with a ridiculous $7000 transmission replacement, which they said theyd reduce but thats not good enough. They need to replace my transmission because its Audis bad design that everyones transmission is going out. Shame on you Audi! I thought you were better than this.

My wife leased a brand new Audi Q3, after the first month the breaks were grinding and squeaking, took it in and they said they were fine, 2 months later same thing and they said they were fine but also that Audi has high performance brakes and this is normal!!! Actually gave us a pamphlet to prove it!! I took it to a different dealer who said they would have Audi look into it, brought it in and got the same response. I took the service manager out and test drove 4 other Q3s, (the loaner we got all the time did not have this issue) and 1 other had the same grinding issue. They say there is nothing they can do. One guy actually told me to go 40MPH and slam on the brakes a few times!!! LAST AUDI EVER.

I bought a brand new Audi Q3 2015 last year. Audi was my dream car before, but after buying this car I am feeling guilty of buying this car. I had a service @ one of the dealership last year. They had done wheel alignment and rebalance last year. The service was bad and when I gave the car for routine maintenance at different dealership they wanted me to pay again for rebalancing and wheel alignment. I have contacted Audi to complaint on the bad service. They took a complaint but never called me back with resolution. One of the customer care representative told me that I have to reach out directly to dealer and they wont help me in this issue. I dont understand why I need to buy a luxurious car who dont even take care of their customer concerns properly. I will never buy this car and planning to sell this car in near future. Bottom line - its not my dream car anymore.

Had a few issues with a European delivery, Audi customer support was a complete joke. They stood in the way of information and anything resembling a resolution. Very disappointing, DEFINITELY not a premium experience. To be avoided.

I bought a A4 Quattro, manual transmission, new in January of 2012 from Hiley Audi in Huntsville, Alabama. The vehicle has had the water pump and one injector replaced under warranty and the PCV valve, various modules and gaskets O rings and other items replaced at my expense as well as the shocks that were leaking more oil than the EXXON Valdez. All of this occurred after the car was barely out of warranty. The service department has actually been quite good at diagnosing the problems associated with the vehicle however the expense of having those issues rectified is prohibitive. Now with a little over 100k miles on the car, its burning a quart of oil every 600 miles. No one at Audi notified me about the class action suit on these engines for excessive oil consumption however they did notify me of the extended warranty on the cam chain tensioner which after requesting the replacement they refused to repair even while the car was still under warranty! In short, Im stuck with $6K repair bill for replacing this dog of an engine. The people that work at Audi can only be as good as the management team and in short, the management team at Hiley as well as Audi of America are terrible. On a side note, I have an ACURA RSX that I bought new in 2003 with 200k miles on the odometer that doesnt use a drop of oil and a 1997 BMW 318is with a 168K on the clock that doesnt use any oil either. Basically Audi sells cars that are throwaways after 100,000 miles. In short, if you expect Hiley or Audi of America to stand behind their products, you will be sorely disappointed.

This is the worst car purchase I have ever made. The car is so small when there is another passenger in the car. I drove the 2017 Audi Q3, when I took a vacation. Could only fit 1 piece of luggage in the cargo area. The backseat is not roomy enough for a sardine. Horrible on gas. Can only use premium. I should have kept my Buick Enclave. That was a sweet ride!

I owned a Q5. I bought it for less than 2 years with numerous problems. First, engine consumed too much engine oil; and apparently, it was due to piston ring problems. Its sent to workshop for 3-4 times for engine oil measurement, and finally, I had to leave the car for more than a month and had to quarrel for courtesy car. Car was OK for a few months, and then last month, it has gearbox malfunction. I think its megatronic(?) defect. I was asked to wait for 3 days as part was supposed to come from Singapore, and I ended up waiting for 2 weeks. When they called, they tried to give me an appointment which was 2 weeks later, until I screamed at them!I sent in the car a few days ago, and again, I dont ever expect to have a courtesy car like I used to enjoy from BMW. Whats amazing? Well, car is under warranty, but sorry, no courtesy car. They changed the megatronic plus rendered the 60,000km service. I left the car for 1 week. I just called to report another 2 minor problems, cigarette lighter not working and seat adjuster not working. Their answer was You need to wait longer, because you report additional problems. if you want your car back, then send in another time for these two problems! What can I do? Its not the technicians fault but the companys! They only know how to sell but dont care the service! Typical management! The problem all started with them not caring or hiring more technicians to handle the service and repair. So many cars got problems, but so few technicians are working on them. There are so many Audi users who are facing the same problem, in case you dont know or dont care! Its not worth paying so much for this kind of experience.
