I purchased an Audi used with 21,000 kms. Since owning it, I had some major stuttering during acceleration. The technicians had it in the shop no less than 5 times replacing parts or cleaning injectors. Just before warranty ran out, I asked if I had their commitment to repair this known problem before the warranty ran out - I had this in writing. Sure enough, even though I was promised a fifth time that it was repaired, the same issue occurred. Since this was after warranty the dealer had to use good will, but after a few attempts gave up and pretty much left me to deal with Audi Canada directly. Audi Canada suggest it was the wiring harness or computer that could have been making the issue and offered to pay 50% of the total cost. Even though this should have been covered under warranty in the first place, they would not budge and gave me an ultimatum that if I didnt accept the offer, they would retract it. Even worse, after agreeing, I asked if this would be a guaranteed fix. They said, No guarantee and no refund if this did not fix the issue. So, less for me. I will NEVER buy an Audi again. I love the look and feeling of the drive, but the customer service was absolutely brutal. Never have I been treated so poorly for such a top price item. I was basically speaking to a brick wall when dealing with Audi Canada. The dealer was great but had to abide by Audi Canada. Seriously, think twice before you buy an Audi!

I had the flaps replaced twice on my 2008 Audi TT Roadster, and just yesterday, the convertible top would not close. Therefore, I am going to have to replace the flap motor again. In addition, the rear driver side light keeps going out, and just yesterday, the check engine light just came on. I love the car but handle all the problems related to the 2008 Audi TT.

Car was purchased in Toronto in mid Oct, 2018, driven to Naples, Florida in early November and parked in a condo garage 100 yards from the Gulf of Mexico with the passenger side exposed to winds from the Gulf. In mid January a braking issue was noticed when braking at highway speeds. Audi service determined that the issue was caused by rust on the passenger side brake rotors and advised that because this was a result of outside influences the repair cost would not be covered by the warranty. Does this seem reasonable when other equivalent cars parked in the same condo location over 8 years had not encountered the same problem?

I bought a used car, a 2003 Audi A4 1.8T, from this dealer on 7-27-2012. The next day, the engine check light was on and I took it to a repair shop to examine it. Also, the coolant alarm keeps popping up. The technician told me the catalytic converter needs to be changed along with other issues. Fixing the engine check light problem will cost me $1,000, not to mention the two complete junk tires that need to be replaced. Furthermore, the system was recoded several months ago by the dealer. They tried to hide this information by storing code to the system so that the engine check light wont be back on unless you drive it for several miles. I only have this car a week. The engine was too hot for me to keep driving when I was on my way back home after I brought the issue to the dealer. He told me the car is fine. However, I have to stop and turn off the engine after driving two minutes because the engine was too hot. It took me five hours to drive 20 miles on the express way which was really dangerous. The dealer intentionally hid the major issue of the car from me - the buyer - and refused to fix the issue. Neither did he agree to get this car back and give my portion of money back. This is really a nightmare. It is really dangerous to drive a car at 20 miles/hour speed on an expressway and to stop it abruptly just to let the engine gets cooler. That is crazy.

I am driving an Audi in Hong Kong. I had some paperwork problems with my car and had to contact Audi to get the needed document. The staff is genuinely uninterested and referred me to a automobile association alleging that only the association can get the document for me. So I called the association who explained patiently that the certificate should be issued by Audi the manufacturer, which makes sense. So I called the dealer in Hong Kong again and that staff gave me the same answer, utterly uninterested, and offered no solution to me at all. I dont expect that the dealer can solve my problem quickly and once and for all but at least they can appear to be more helpful. For Audi which aspires to be a top brand in the world, they should be more careful in engaging local dealers. Some are totally unprofessional and may just ruin their reputation. In my case, I will NEVER buy another Audi (because I am terribly pissed off).

Buyer Beware!!! These cars have transmissions and clutch issues!!! I purchased a 2021 brand new off the lot with only 6 miles and 5 months later I started having transmission issues barely escaping off the highway alive when the car decided to shut down on me. The engine light came on stating that I had transmission failure and it completely shut off after I barely made it off onto the ramp, luckily I was near an exit, otherwise it would have shut down on the highway. People please read up on Audi’s and their transmission issues before purchasing!!! Because the dealership will be of no service to you once the car starts to fail, they are in the business of making money!!!

We have had a 2015 Audi for the last 30000 miles. In this short time it seems that so many things are not meant to last. The tires need replaced, the windshield wipers are worn, and the brakes are squealing. We just found out that every time you replace brake pads you have to also replace the rotors - even if they arent damaged because they supposedly wear out in the same time frame. The maintenance costs are incredibly high and the parts dont seem to last long. Overall we are disappointed in the quality of the vehicle. If you buy one, expect a couple grand a year in maintenance in the first couple of years. We are concerned about whether these costs will skyrocket with age of the vehicle. We would recommend not only looking at initial cost of any vehicle but just as important the expected maintenance costs to keep up a vehicle, so you can make sure you get the expected level of quality in what you buy. We will not choose Audi again in the future.

I purchased my Audi S7 as a CPO at 49000 miles. The moment I received the car I noticed it had unusual shifting between 1st and 2nd gear, and how it behaves with just stop and go movement. It would be worst in stop and go traffic where the transmission would make a clunky noise and could be felt under the floor. So far they’ve updated ECM and Transmission Software, replaced Mechatronics, replaced multiple motor mounts and control arms ball joints etc, replaced weeping coolant and transmission fluid lines... and after being the 6th week in the shop currently they will replace the Dual Clutch and hope this solves the problem. This has already been my 4th time in the shop and the car has now spent over 60 days in the shop for the same issue. I’m even hesitant to take the car back anymore knowing how hard it was to battle a transmission problem from the start. It’s unfortunate all Techs only look for Fault Codes on a Computer when the problem can be a caused by a mechanical failure. At the end of the day, it’s not a shop foreman’s car, and he will never feel what you feel with the vehicle.

I own a 2015 AUDI A4. I have enjoyed the car and like the ride very much. However, after a little more than 4 years since I bought the car new, there is a severe problem with the air conditioning system. Since I live in South Florida, its essential that this works. The AC evaporator failed and needs replacement. The cost quoted me by AUDI in Naples to repair this was $4740 plus tax. Most of this cost is due to labor since it is extremely difficult to replace. The service tech explained to me that the part itself is a little over $1000, the rest is labor cost. This charge to me is due to poor quality on the part of AUDI. This part should not have failed after only 4 years. In addition, the car is poorly designed if it takes a skilled AUDI mechanic so many hours to repair. The tech said that the entire dash needs to be removed. Im very dissatisfied. Im not about to pay this much. What will fail next and and what price to repair it? I will have to get rid of this car since it is useless after less than 5 years. Needless to say I will not be buying an AUDI to replace it.

I initially bought an Audi because of their quality and excellent engineering. However, I dont believe I will ever purchase another automobile from this manufacturer again. At 60000 miles my MMI system experienced a complete failure. The Navigation display would not come up, the radio wouldnt work, the navigation system completely failed. I took the car to the dealer here in Denver and was told the 5F MMI component would have to be replaced. Cost of the part $2200, $400 for labor. To say the least this is outrageous. Needless to say I am done with Audi, they are obviously not the reliable luxury cars I thought they were. Save your money! Dont patronize.

In January of 2015 I purchased a CPO 2010 A5. Within 6 months I began having serious mechanical difficulties with the car. Although to date all issues have been rectified by the service department, the sales department has been unwilling to make an acceptable deal with me to put me into another vehicle when clearly my vehicle is a lemon. The general manager has never even responded to my attempts to contact him. Since I purchased the car, it has been associated with a recall and a class action suit. It has been in for service no fewer than 6 times, and yet the dealership nor Audi Corporate is willing to work with me. This will certainly be my last dealing with Audi of Huntington, and mostly likely, the last Audi I will own.

I leased an A3 clean diesel from Audi Coral Springs in April of 2013 with the intention to buy if the car performed as well as the salesperson assured me it would. I was looking for a high performing car with significantly reduced emissions. I considered the Audi diesel, hybrids and electric cars. I chose a model that would no longer be available in the US (A3 clean diesel hatchback). There were only a handful available in the country and one of them was at Audi Coral Springs. Because I was set on this car and there were so few, I had no bargaining power and paid an enormous premium for the car. The leasing process itself was torture. The dealership had one printer and it wasnt working so the entire transaction took more than 4 hours. When the diesel emission fraud became public, I contacted the dealership and Audi USA. I was told over and over that the emission fraud was no big deal and that Audi owed me nothing. Basically I was told that Audi is handling this and that no one in the company could deal with my complaint. Audi has decided kill its brand and ensure that its customers go elsewhere. As for Audi Coral Springs... the personnel at the dealership were down right rude. I returned the car at the end of the lease only to be told that I had to sign a document that if anything happened to the car while in the hands of the dealer (the only place I could return it), I would be legally responsible for the damage. The document stated that I was required to maintain auto insurance on the vehicle until it was in the hands of the manufacturer which would take weeks to months. Ripped off a third time by Audi Coral Springs. I asked how I would know when to release the insurance and I was told not to worry about it. Needless to say, given Audis horrible, horrible customer service and casual attitude about defrauding the public, I will never drive an Audi again. I now have a Lexus hybrid and the experiences could not have been more different. One star for this dealership is really one too many.

I purchased an Audi W12 my first and I custom ordered the car. I had less that 5,000 miles on my Pirelli tires that were a special order. I got a flat tire in the seam of the tire. I was told by roadside service that I waited for over an hour to take it to the nearest tire facility. On Sunday nobody is open and the spare is a dingy. The drive home was 2 hours. The following morning I took the car to the nearest tire center per roadside assistance. Pirelli requested the tire center to ship the tire to Pirelli to evaluate the tire for the reason the tire went flat. After 3 months and to have Pirelli say they were short handed and it would be another month until they could evaluate the tire. I reached out to Audi North America as I purchased the tires and the car from them. AUDI gave me this response we are not responsible for our vendors and the tires. We can not do anything. It is not their issue on any tire related problem, even though I purchased the $3,000 worth of tires from AUDI. I asked for a supervisor from Audi and was told BY THE AGENT THE BUCK STOPS with him and he will not do anything and it is not Audi issue. If youre going to sell a $135,000 car and tout about your customer service when this was my 2nd Audi and my last purchase. Thank God no one was hurt but I would think any company would stand behind their product and vendors.

I bought my 1996 Audi A4 in 2009. At the start of 2010, I took my car to (Audi Artarmon, NSW) because I was experiencing erratic revving quite seriously. Audi Artarmon cleaned my fuel system and assured me that the problem was now fixed. However, as soon as I drove my vehicle from the servicing center, the problem still existed so that was ($1,500) down the drain. It took some complaining but I eventually got a full refund. I then moved to the Gold Coast where I decided to take it to (Audi Gold Coast Center). They advised me of a few reasons for the problem and told me that they could fix the problem. After picking my car up and driving it down the Gold Coast highway for 5 minutes, my car completely broke down and whilst I was on the phone to the servicing manager, he was shouting at me trying to say that it was not their problem and that these things just happen. So I sorted out a tow truck myself and paid for a taxi to get myself home. The car got towed back to Audi. The next day, they advised me that I needed a new throttle body at a cost of $1,000, but was advised that the cost would be taken care of due to what had happened. I went to pick my car up after the work had been done and the servicing manager started to demand that I pay for the work done to my car or else I would not be allowed to drive it away.I then had to rush to the bank before it closed and made a withdrawal in order to pay the prick of a manager. After all of this, it was no wonder that nothing had even remotely changed with the performance of my car! I had to move to Mackay (1000kms north) so I drove my car up, however, my fuel gauge stopped operating and the car was being very erratic with its revs. I did make it to Mackay though by guessing my fuel consumption. After more complaints, I eventually got a refund from Gold Coast Audi, as if they were trying to pay me to keep quiet. The last straw came when I moved to Newcastle (NSW). I drove my car down from Mackay, which was a long trip but my vehicle seemed to take it very well. My car did not start the next day so I decided to take it to Newcastle Audi Center where they told me I needed a new fuel pump, which would cost $900. I decided to get an independent mechanic to replace my fuel pump for half the price. However, somehow that mechanic did something to my cars immobilizer and I was forced to have it towed back to (Newcastle Audi), which was quite embarrassing. I was advised by Newcastle Audi that I needed a new engine control unit which would cost $3,000. I agreed to have this done as I needed my car. After a few months of trying to come up with the money, I finally had enough to pay for my vehicle. Upon picking my car up, I noticed that the whole dashboard insert was not working at all (speedometer, tacho, fuel gauge) and I asked them why. However, the servicing manager refused to take any responsibility and angrily denied any wrongdoing. The service I received from Newcastle Audi was absolutely appalling. For anyone who has any intention on buying an Audi of any sort, get ready for ignorant fat cats who think that they are above you and can talk down to you. I am so fed up with Audi, all they care about is money. Even the Audi Australia head office doesnt seem to care at all.My car has been undriveable for almost a year now, yet those ** are probably living it up with their fat checks. I am giving my 1996 Audi to a wrecker now. I paid $7,000 for it 3 years ago but I simply have no more energy, money or time to put up with the thieves that Audi are.

I continue to search for an affordable solution for my once beautiful Audi A4 under 100k miles as of today. The topcoat split open and the entire car looks like a jigsaw puzzle. Audi offers no help; no solution. The fix for me would be circa $1K. What could that possible mean to a rich organization like Audi. For me, however, because Im now retired, its not an option. My cars appearance is very nice. I got the color that I specified. The dash in my car looks more like black wood. It has a built in CD player, GPS navigation system and digital display. Its so cool and easy to read for mileage and gas. I had pin stripping put on mine. I also got the digital panel and voice activated GPS which I love as Im bad at directions. Its so helpful. You can also add a DVD player inside or internet. Size wise, I wanted more roomy model because I have long legs. My Audi can fit 3 in the front, but that is a little cramped for space and does not leave much legroom. But you can easily fit 3 in the back seat with lots of leg room, and still ride comfortably in the back.

Audi a5 from 2008 - 2 days before holiday on 26.04.14 the window cable mechanism breakdown, cost 225 for the part only+ labor cost 3h. On the 4th of May 2014 on our way to Venice, it was raining, a skylight take place, our central console dead (navigation, radio, media, no oil check, completely dead). Went to audi dealer in Venice, paid 80 euros to check the BUS Interface. The part need to be replace, 330 euro for the part + 120 euro labor cost, as is a UK car they need to order the part from UK. After 3 days in Venice we decide to buy a GPS for 150 euros and continue our holiday (Italian audi dealer check and top up our oil Castrol edge 5-30W ONLY SINCE the car was new 1500 km). Later on the 10th of May 2014 we arrive in a nice city call Brasov in Romania and the engine stop with no engine sign on. We call a service. They come to investigate our case and surprise they check the (ENGINE 135000 miles) timing chain and the top (plastic) tensioner. It was broken into pieces damage @ few 3000 TBC. We left the car in Romania and return to Jersey Channel islands UK by plane. The conclusion is the audi company diminish our entire holiday + 4500 into parts and labor cost. We plan to pay a visit to our insurer as we have full comprehensive insurance on the car + travel insurance, hoping they will do something for us as the car is not in the warranty anymore..... I have a 2015 Audi A5, with 26400 miles on it. I purchased the car with 11,000 miles on it in April. I began experiencing a LOUD brake squeaking 2 weeks ago. It squeaks when I lightly apply the brakes. The service department at Audi told me that the brake pads only had 10% wear so its Not the Pads. They then told me that I would need to drive about 60 mph or FASTER, then apply the brakes... I am NOT going to try this dangerous and potentially deadly act.I think that there is a design issue that must be addressed. I have owned probably 12 cars in my life and NEVER has this happened with no answer. The lemon law in Illinois is quite clear and I actually received a new car because of this law. I am sure there are other owners that has the same issues... We must start writing to Audi and people who can help... This must get resolved. Im ready to drive the car to the dealer and leave it there until its resolved. I know that this is a non warranty issue but there is an obvious defect.

I have been financed 3 Audi A3s and previously have upgraded and re-financed but when my renewal came up on my 3rd I decided to pay it off & keep the car - I had no confidence in the staff & was not comfortable using them again. This is a shame as in the past theyve always been great - I dont know what theyve changed but now they are atrocious! Sales staff either have no knowledge or are not allowed to work out figures. My appointment to discuss refinance/upgrade options was booked by Audi with a sales rep. but every time we needed a figure he had to go to the manager for 10-15 mins and then come back to us to repeat what the manager had said!! I asked for a monthly figure on a particular car if I didnt pay a deposit & when I said I couldnt afford the figure his response was Its only 20 a month more than you told me you could afford, cant you find that?!!What a disgraceful thing to say to a customer, if he thinks an individual can find it, then surely an international company can work a deal so THEY find it! A few days later I called & asked if they could re-quote if I were able to pay a small deposit (if I sold mine privately and used the sale money to pay deposit), and was given EXACTLY THE SAME MONTHLY PAYMENT FIGURE as when I wasnt paying a deposit!! When I questioned this the salesman blamed me as he said I took the print out of his original quote so he no longer knew what that was!! Overall he showed no interest in looking after an existing customer & getting them to continue doing business with Audi, he had no idea what information he had previously given and left me feeling that I couldnt trust him or Audi as a company. My 2010 A4 consumed oil from the moment I bought it used at 63,000 miles. It used 1 qt every 1000 miles and according to Audi thats normal. Using their math and Mobil 1 I would never have to change oil as I would have added 10 qts before it was time to change the original 5 qts in the pan. Audi said they fixed the car before I bought it but will not release the service records from the servicing dealer in Florida or from Audi of America. How can you comply with Class Action Settlement if you cant have access to the records. What are they hiding? Never mind, the car broke an engine valve at 101,000 miles, just after my extended warranty expired. Been round and round with Audi Customer No-Care, the Audi Customer Experience they call it. More like a nightmare. After providing all my mileage logs and records, service records and all the receipts from the auto stores from adding oil they say it is with Customer Retention and Resolution. I have filed complaints with several state attorneys general, the EPA and safercar.gov. Next will be letters to the Wall Street Journal, Car & Driver, Road & Track and Consumer Reports. We have to stand up to their arrogance and disregard for US Laws and our rights as owners and consumers. I cant afford a $7,000 repair and still make payments on a car I cant drive.

Audi car models somewhat look the same but I am okay with that and would maybe recommend it to someone. The driving is good but the verity is lacking a little bit. I do not think that there is actually a way to customize the car. I just drive it because I have to. The car is small and usually only holds about 3 people but we can all squeeze together. It is kinda nice but I wish it had more space to move around and carry people around with it. I like bigger cars but my spouse wanted this brand of car. I would probably choose a different dealer next time and get a car that is bigger.

I own a 2013 Audi A6. It came with a 4 year 57,000 mile warranty. My car was perfectly maintained. The engine blew up (ring failed, destroying the block). The car had only 39,000 miles. You would think no problem... Wrong. The warranty had expired by 9 months. So Audi wanted to charge me $10,000 for a new motor. I went through the roof. They then offered to pay half if I bought a $3700 extended warranty (a wash), I said, See you in court. I called corporate and they said if I didnt take the offer they would rescind it. A not so subtle threat. They came back and said, half price and no warranty. Reluctantly I agreed. The way I was treated by the dealership and the company, it’s obvious that Audi does not stand by its product. I highly recommend that any consumer stay away from Audi product. Bad company.

Last month, within minutes after sharing my concerns about the condition of my car (a total of (5) phone calls within a 30 minute time span) with the local Audi service advisor(s) my 11 month old 17K mile SQ5 engine locked up while driving on the interstate. Other than a ticking sound coming from the engine, the car did not display a single indicator light before failure. One month later after repeatedly sharing my concerns to Audi of America and local dealership personnel, (customer experience, aftersales and service) regarding the financial implications (lowered resale value) of an engine replacement and requesting a replacement car. Audi has replaced the engine and offered me a few dollars to trade up to a new car. I find it very difficult to view this as an opportunity for the local sales team to sell me yet another new car at invoice of course. On the surface, one might suggest this is a generous offer for such a loyal member of the Audi family. However, I have recently purchased (3) brand new Audis since September 2012, a Q5 2.0T, a 2013 A6 3.0T and a 2014 SQ5. I pose the question is this an oversight on Audi part or does this speak volume for Audis lack of respect for my business and others.

I leased a brand new car from Audi Queensway in Ontario in February 2015 because I thought Audis were awesome cars and naturally assumed the service levels would be too. After I purchased the car I found it to be noisy as if it was not sealed properly and took it back to Queensway. They looked at it several times and advised me that what Audis sounded like. I had a 20k Dodge that sounded much better. After a few more months, I was still unhappy and then took my Audi to Oakville on 03 September. I booked it in a week in advance and explained the problem. After a service person drove the car, he told me he suspected that the tire was causing this. After waiting the entire day, I called Audi to find out whats happening and was told that the tire needs replacing at my cost as its wear and tear. I explained to them ad nauseam that this was a new car and I reported this problem from the time I got this car. They werent interested nor helpful. They suggested I take it back to Queensway as its preowned. I then had to convince them that the car was bought brand new as they assumed its pre-owned. I also mentioned to them that I had purchased every possible warranty and insurance so that I do not have to have any issues.Audi Oakville was adamant that Queensway should sort out the issue. I explained that I bought an Audi and warranty and any dealer should be able to sort out the issue. After speaking ad nauseam to the service manager and admin person, no help was offered other than this is my fault and if I wanted the problem resolved, I should pay for a new tire. I was asked to pick up my vehicle (with the fault not rectified and bring it back another time). I explained that I needed my car for work and that I had taken the day off to get this service done. My wife took time off work and drove me to Audi to drop the car off. Now I also needed to get life to fetch my car. I was also given a lecture by the service manager about how my driving may have caused this issue. After explaining to him again its a new car, I discontinued my call due to his condescending nature. No loan car or hired vehicle was offered to me.I then called Audi head office to explain my dilemma. The first service person after listening to my issue then told me it will be sorted out the next business day. I told her I do not have a vehicle. She told me it was the end of her shift and could not help further. Apparently because she took the call, she could not get anyone else to assist. At 4 pm, she advised that she will arrange with Oakville to provide a hired car. We called back many times and this was not done. After many more calls to her, she had the audacity to hang up on my wife. She also advised no supervisors were available. After many more calls, another assistant directed us to a supervisor who was available named Sunny. Sunny was helpful and we then explained the entire story to him. HE advised that his boss is aware of the problem and at 6 pm last night advised that she will call me this morning.I called 4-5 times this morning and she did not answer. At 12:50 when I called again Audi head office was closed. Yes, now head office is closed and Audi Oakville who I called said my car is ready to pick up with the problem unresolved. I must pay 1500 Cad to have my wheel alignment checked and done and also pay for a new tire which they cannot do anytime soon. So here I am. Audi will not arrange for me to be fetched. I will take a taxi to fetch my car as my son starts school next week and I was asked to drive my car away from the dealership without a fault being repaired.I will advise my insurance company as I assume Audi will assume liability if anything happens due to the related problem. The service manager at Audi Queensway was helpful and has offered to look into the matter sometime next week. I was also advised that certain tires provided by Audi wears differently and this may be the issue. This was communicated by Audi Queensway and Audi Oakville. Imagine that a brand new car with less than 18000 km and I may have tires that wear easily.I spoke to my salesman who sold me the car and apparently I dont have much recourse in terms of returning my car. Ive owned Fords, BMWs, Volvos, VW etc. in the past and Ive never encountered such pathetic service. Never was I constantly given excuses of what cannot be done but rather how can they help me. I regret this purchase and wish I could cancel this transaction without financial consequence but assume now that my monies have been paid and my warranties are paid I am stuck with this vehicle. I will get rid of this car as soon as I can and will certainly go with another brand.

Ive been purchasing Audi vehicles for the last fifteen years; primarily A6 Supercharged vehicles. Last March, I traded-in my 2016 A6 Prestige Supercharged for the 2021 A6 Prestige 55. From day one there have been issues. There has been nonstop rattling from the dash. The trunk opens without touching the button on the remote or truck latch door. Other times, when pressing the button on the trunk handle, the trunk wont open at all. I would have to take the key fob out of my pocket and press the button in order for the trunk door to open. That defeats the purpose of having the trunk door button on the trunk. This is another flaw of all 2019 and newer models. Numerous times when closing the trunk, we walk away and the trunk opens again without us touching anything!Same with the doors. Numerous times, we are unable to open the doors by placing our hand behind the door handle when the key fob is in our pocket. We have to take the key fob out of our pocket for the door handle to work. The dash rattle has been addressed numerous times, but never fixed. Its a horrible design flaw. No matter what the dealership attempts, it wont fix the poor design flaw. The bottom screen went out three times since purchasing the vehicle. The first time within two weeks of the purchase. Stay away from Audi vehicles from 2019 to current. Too many design flaws.

Audi offers a lot of variety and different styles from SUVs to sedans. Audi SUVs are 4 passenger and sedans 4 as well. Audis sport models offer 2 passenger seating with race car features. I prefer sedans but the variety in styles is amazing. Audi is designing cars better than the rest at a good price. It is leading the way in stylish car making. It has a distinct style from the rest of the other luxury car makers. It has a very luxurious style to all their models and come fully loaded with all the features that you want. The stereo system is amazing and the speakers are booming. Audi offers a variety of upgrades and many personalization options to make it styled to fit your personality and everyones needs. Upgrade to all leather seats and power everything.

My 2014 Audi A6 TDI Prestige is an absolutely great car, except for the leather driver’s seat stretching and getting dye transfer from clothing less than 2 months from purchase. While other luxury cars, with light colored interiors, do not suffer from dye transfer - the 2014 Audi does. I consulted independent leather experts that informed me that the aniline leather treatment method (dyes probably from Asia) experience problems. This is not as bad as leather stretching and looking aged/worn after 2 months. The sign of a great company is not that they are 100% problem free, but rather the way that issues are handled. I was looking for a win/win situation after buying 5 new Audis, but rather experienced total frustration with our 5th purchase.Overall, Audi builds a really great car - but, Audi of America customer service is terrible. In our free market economy, the result is Audi is losing a paying customer. Sad and a pity, but dealing with Audi of America has shown my wife and me that they really dont care about after sales customer satisfaction. We are only writing about our experience and resultant decision to not buy Audi products in the future. For the readers of this review, we can only highlight our saga and ask that you draw your own decision. Thanks.

Back in 2017, car had EPC light illuminated, would lose power while driving, would idle roughly and then not turn on. Had it towed to Audi Honolulu. Found electrical wiring burning through to the gas tank (couldve blown up) and so they replaced the gas tank and the wiring at their goodwill more like to save a lawsuit. Anyways April 2019 now, same issues with EPC light, idling and losing power then it not turning it on. Got it towed to Audi El Paso. Apparently, cylinder 1 and 2 in the engine are at 0 psi compression and we need a new engine.Mind you every service has been done at an Audi dealership and its only got 60,000 miles on it. Told they wont be covering any costs and told by Henry at Audi El Paso he wont even provide a loaner vehicle unless we agree to pay $10-13k for a new engine. What a joke. My thing is why wasnt this issue found in 2017 when the car had the exact same issues? Its their job to fix the car right. I am going to be taking my claim further until I get results. Googling the same car and I see so many people with the same issues. When will Audi take customers seriously? Makes you wonder how many Audis are a safety hazard driving around and could blow up any second. My families safety comes first and it should come first for Audi too.

Originally I had purchased my vehicle at Biener Audi. I purchased an S3 2017 Model. Brand New this vehicle came with approx. 70 miles on it. I found out that they transported it from Audi of Smithtown. I, then proceeded to take it to this location. One of my issues was the hood & the windshield. The hood is cracked (from a pebble most likely states a professional who I had examine it; they touched it up & didnt allow it to dry long enough so it came off.) Audi of Smithtown has no reglect of this happening. Another issue is inside of my vehicle, the main console buttons are sticky-like. After going back and forth with Audi of Smithtown, they agreed to take it off and look if its warranty or not. They will take it off as a courtesy. They state sticky substance is inside. They wont do anything for me. They ordered the part for me but are claiming I have to come out of MY pocket for $970 because they dont deem this as a warranty issue. Are you kidding me? This vehicle came in such horrible condition! My first Audi. To be exact my issues consisted of: Scratched up interior panels. Damaged hood/windshield from transportation. Abnormal creased seats from getting in and out from test drives. My fiancé & I clearly knew that this vehicle had been sitting on a lot for a LONG time. It was so dirty after they finished detailing it. Back bumper deep scratches. Console buttons sticking, rough. Scratched up alternator (cosmetic). Front bumper full of dings (black spots). Dings on headlights/scratched up.Im VERY unhappy and UNSATISFIED with BOTH Audi of Smithtown and Biener Audi. This was the WORST experience Ive ever had. Ive opened up a case with Audi of America (corporate) and theyve stated case has been escalated as high as possible. They wont do anything for me its up to the dealership to make it right. Please save yourself a headache. Dishonest dealerships terrible customer satisfaction. Bieners part: Some people involved were: Patrick ** (sales person). Service Manager (Stephen **). Six months after purchasing a 2007 Audi A6 with 57k miles the steering control module required replacement. The cost to fix was $2,600. Because this obviously a result of poor engineering and not a wear and tear issue I wrote a complaint to Audi directly. Their response: We are sorry to learn of your issue however the car is not under warranty (they wont acknowledge the fact that this is a common issue as seen on many Audi forums) and because you did not buy at an Audi dealership and you are not a loyal Audi customer (1st Audi and last) we will not assist with repair. The point of my writing this is that their vehicles are over engineered and repair record and costs are absurd. Oh and dont even try to bring to someone other than an Audi dealership because they cannot work on them. And the dealerships know this full well!!! I am through with the 4 rings of death as my mechanic calls them and switching back to Lexus. Dont get taken by the looks of what I think is a great looking vehicle like I did. You will be surely regret it and be shopping for a new car ASAP.

I really dont know where to start. I can fill pages and pages showing what bad company I trusted when I bought an Audi Q5. The car is extremely bad, no quality at all. Many problems with the gearbox, the breaks squeaking, steering wheel making bad jerking movements, and the list goes on. But what is really the worst is not the extremely bad quality of the car but the unbelievably bad service. I never took my car to the Audi dealer and they actually knew what was the problem. It stayed one time a full month at the dealer and they were not able to know what was the problem. Now I am facing a problem with the ignition, they told me we need to update the software and we need to get the software from Dubai and I have been waiting for that for a month now and still nothing. Very bad car, extremely bad service and dealing with the Audi people is like dealing with crooked con experts. My car is by the way only at 40000 Km and I hate it already so much. My advice to all: DO NOT EVEN THINK OF BUYING AN AUDI.

I am leasing a Audi A7. I love it. BUT recently I had a 2019 loaner and they redesigned the shift and it’s flat out dangerous. They made the park a button in the soft. So when you naturally move your shift to “park” it’s now reverse. I didn’t know this on the loaner. Upon putting it in “park” I almost hit someone because it was actually reverse and I was going about my business of gathering my purse and water bottle. They should make the first gear neutral then reverse then drive. It just doesn’t make sense to me. Yes you can get used to it but when your husband or kids borrow the car and aren’t used to it...it can be dangerous. So I am very likely not getting another Audi as this shift design is permanent. Now...I love my 2018 with the old shift. It’s comfy and rideable like a dream. She is beautiful and I get lots of compliments daily. Technology is amazing. If they change the shift design when my lease is up I would likely lease another. I have had great service and the dealership is beautiful with great amenities.

I would love to share my THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Of buying the car! I bought a new AUDI Q3 2018 from Audi North Miami Beach! A month ago! I always wanted Audi and was focused on that model for a long time before. So finally I collected my last funds and went to the Dealership! First and foremost from the minute I came to the dealership my experience was completely disappointed! First of all the personnel are non-educated and absolutely lost in knowing their product at all! But the most horrible was that in 3 weeks after buying the car I went to pick up my registration sticker to the Dealer. I parked my brand new car Q3 in the parking spot of the Dealer. In 15 minutes after when I came picked it up and got back to the car I was sooo negative surprised that my amazing brand new car was crashed! Right on the Audi parking spot! Of course I was claimed that fact... They tried to cover that fact! I was remembering that and the next day after I called Dealership and let them know that my car was crushed on their territory! Manager was completely indifferent of helping me to solve that issue! He was aggressive and try to defend himself. Now that car will be in the Carfax! And not by my fault at all! I hope I can prevent many people. Do not have any BUSINESS with awful!!! Dealership in the world ever! I would NEVER EVER!!! RECOMMEND NO ONE TO BUY THE CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! BE AWARE PEOPLE!

In winter 2016 I have bought brand new 2017 Audi A4 Premium Plus for 47k. It was this new version with cool digital gauges and new technology. It was rather exciting. I was thinking at the time that this small luxury sedan was worth the money. Then in December 2020, I got the message that my car doesnt support any more Google maps and from December 31 will stop working. Really after 3 years my car is obsolete and exciting feature that I have chose this car for is no longer available. I have contacted dealerships right away to see if I can upgrade my car, but answer was no, and I should probably get a new or newer Audi in order to have that ability. So 4 years after I cough up 47k for this Audi and planning to keep it in the family for longer, this car lost one of features that was their top selling point. I had a numbers of Audi cars so far in my life A4, A6, Q5 and Q7. I can tell you one thing. I will never ever again buy a Audi. It is like throwing away you money for something that will be obsolete in 3-4 years. Really sad from company that I had a the time on top for my vehicle needs.

DAY 200: Tire Flats and Tire Expert (Not from AUDI) points out that Tire has torn out Heavily. Looks like Tire was not a quality one. Day 250: Windshield Breaks due to Temperature Pressure. (Wow what a quality again). DAY 260: Another Tire Burst in middle of road which should have almost lead to a major accident. (THIS HAPPENED SUNDAY 02/05/2017). (Total Miles 11500).Currently it is running on SPARE tire. I am just scared to touch the vehicle again. I have driven so many Cars and been driving for more than 5 years. But never had such a GREAT experience. That too with a NEW car which is still under warranty. DID AUDI has provided me very low quality tires and other accessories. These are costing me a ton to get it repairs... Does AUDI has nothing to do with it. This is ridiculous that after paying thousands, AUDI gives you such a quality car. WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW. My name is Dimitri **. I leased a brand new 2010 Audi A5 from Prestige Audi of North Miami beach. With my lease, I was told to bring my car to them every time its time for service. The car said its time for a service so I made an appointment to drop it off. They called me and told me it was ready, so I went to pick it up. I took it home. When I get in to my car, I always approach the driver side. Well one day, I backed the car in and the next morning, I approached from the passenger side and I noticed there was damage to my passenger front wheel.Well, it was dented in multiple places and bowed out at the top of the wheel well plus paint damage. So I said to myself, I didnt do it, maybe I got hit but let me take it to Audi to see what theyll say. So I went there to speak with Fernando **. I told him the situation and he said let me see it and Ill tell you if we did it here. His exact quote was, Ive been working on this lot for 9 years and I know what kind of damage this lot can do and that damage was done here. He told me that where they keep the cars after they service them, is enclosed by a fence and they covered that fence with a white cloth so people cant see in and steal or vandalize the cars. And as one of the porters was parking my car, he didnt notice that a pole was also covered by the white cloth and he pulled it up as far as he could and while doing that, he hit my car damaging the front end. So they damaged the car on their lot. I have that in writing that the car was damaged on their lot while being serviced. So he was very nice in the beginning and said to bring it and they will fix it. I dropped it off on August 8 to be repaired and they said it would take four days. Two weeks later, after no phone call, I called them and it just so happened to be ready. I was like, great, Im coming to get it. I got there and I looked to see if they repaired the car correctly. As I was looking it over, I noticed that the headlight on the damaged side was sticking out more than the other side and there was still a few marks on the bumper. So I told them and they said they would fix it. Another week went by. They call and told me that if I dont bring back the loaned car they gave to me while my car was being fixed, they will charge me. So I brought the car back like they asked. When I got there, I inspected it again and I noticed that the hood of my car was extending over grill of the car. I can stick my fingers under the hood when the hood should be closed. I told them to bring another A5 to compare and u can tell there was a difference. I have pictures and videos of all the damage. If needed. I am paying more than 600 dollars a month for my lease and I take care of the car like its my baby. I leave it with them and they damaged the car. The car will never be the same once its gone to the body shop. It will never be the same and has lost value of my car. If someone checks the car, they can tell there were repairs done. I called them and asked them whats going to happen now. They said that they will do nothing to resolve this matter. Thats why Im writing you to see what I can do as Im only one person dealing with a huge company who doesnt care about the customers. Why should I keep paying the same payment when my car is not new anymore? I would understand if I did the damage, but I didnt. They damaged my car and dont care because theyre not paying for it. The manager called me today and told me to bring the car back and get my car and stop nitpicking. Is it nitpicking or do I just want what I deserve my car (in perfect condition, just like I had it when it rolled of the assembly line)? I dont know who can help me with this situation but I would love for you to help me or point me in the right direction because they dont listen to anything I say. They are trying to take advantage of me because Im young and I am a nice person. But enough is enough (plus I paid for this month and I wasnt even able to drive my car at all, so I paid for nothing).

Purchased a brand new Audi A4 four months ago. There is excessive brake dust on the wheels, even with daily cleaning, and the car rolls back on seemingly flat surfaces. The service due light is also coming on only after 2400 k.m. The dealership has advised me that all this is normal. I know it is not, I have been driving for over 25 years.

I am so disappointed and disgusted with my 2009 Audi A5 that I cannot even express how bad my Audi experience is so far. I should have stayed with my Mercedes Benz. I took my car to the Audi dealership to get my window fixed and they actually caused 3 more things to break on the car and now I have to pay for it when the car is under warranty?? They put a faulty motor for my window which caused a short and now my xenon headlight is not working and they want me to pay for the headlight which they caused to break. Horrible experience with Audi service. Dealerships have incompetent and badly trained mechanics and customers need to pay for that. I will make sure I will disclose on every page I can to warn customers not to buy an Audi.

My car is a 2004 3.0 Liter A4, with mileage around 250,000 km. While driving 60 kph, the oil warning light flashed and the engine quit. I thought it was the timing belt but when the mechanic took the heads out, he discovered the engine seized up due to thick sludge that clogged the oil filters, starving the top part of the engine damaging the heads. The timing belt was not broken but stripped. The engine had to be replaced.I found one 2005 A4 which had the exact same problem of oil sludge but in better shape. The repair cost over $7,000. I submitted a claim to Audi Canada but was denied. The reason was the oil sludge warranty extension covers up to 10 years, but mileage limit is 190,000 km. I was told this warranty extension was issued in June 2011. In the U.S., the same program has been in place since 2004 and there is no mileage limitation; however it covers only 1.8T engines from 1997 to 2004. Why is Audi Canada only offering the oil sludge warranty extension only in 2011, 7 years later compared to Audi America? Why are we Canadian owners not provided with the advisory? Anyone with oil sludge problems with 3.0 liter engine? Please email **. Im planning to take action against Audi Canada for not providing and advising owners the oil sludge warranty extension advisory.

I purchased a 2005 Audi A8L a year ago (Jan. 18, 2011) from Checkered Flag Audi. This was supposed to be my dream car, but it’s a nightmare, a lemon. This was not an impulse purchase as I own a 1997 Audi A6, which is the perfect car with no major problems. I’ve always purchased new cars, but the A6 was my first used purchase. I like the look of the A8, but not the new A8 price. So for months I looked for the perfect used Audi A8 with reasonable miles and nice features. So I didn’t hesitate when I found the 2005 A8L at your dealership. However, it has been the worst mistake I’ve ever made. The car has spent over (200) two hundred days in service since I purchased it last year. I’ve been making car payments on a vehicle that I can’t drive because it’s in the service department on Virginia Beach Blvd. The last time I saw my car was Dec. 16, 2011, and it was broke down on the side of the interstate. Here’s a list of some of the things that have been replaced, repaired or broken by the Audi service technicians. The list may not be complete since I’m not able to locate the car and retrieve the service records in the glove compartment. The front end replaced (a problem when we initially purchased the vehicle).New radiator, which we had no problems with until we took it in for service.New water pump (scheduled maintenance).Electrical system (MII). Had problem during test drive and took 2 trips and over 80 days to diagnose and fix.Lock and lug set (dealership lost when diagnosing front end work).Serpentine belt (scheduled maintenance). The whole pulley and belt system due to improper install. This caused my car to break down on the interstate on December 16, 2011 and it’s still at the dealership. I’ve not received any communication since the 1st week in January 2012. A dent in the rear bumper while being serviced. This happened while the car was being service.Damage windshield reservoir due to frontend work (damaged when the front end was serviced and has not been replaced).Cracked center console due to MII replacement (damaged by Audi technician during installation).Bad rear air shock, which is a problem we discussed with Alan **, Mark (the car salesman), and the business manager when I signed the contract. Alan assured me that since the car hadn’t been serviced they would diagnose the problem and fix it. I was told it was not a covered repair and they packed it with grease.Battery replacement--during one of the many service appointments the battery ran down. It was in the shop for over a month when I received the call. I was forced to pay $186.00 to replace the battery and it was clearly not something I caused. This is an excessive amount of repairs. I would understand and expect to have these problems if I purchased my car from Charlie Faulk or The Auto Connection. However, I purchased my car from Checkered Flag Audi, a so-called reputable dealership. I found out that the car was not service prior to me purchasing it. That explains the problems during my test drive which the manager (Alan) assured me that everything would be taken care of (the problems would be minor). I guess they need to make the quota for the month at my expense. My car has been in the shop on every major holiday, except for Thanksgiving. We can’t take it out of town because it will not make the trip. I bought this car for my wife, and I don’t ever want to see her stuck on the side of the busy interstate again. I’m paying car payments on a car that I don’t have; more important, the car won’t live pass the loan amount. I only have a year left on my warranty and I fear that I will be stuck with an unusable car because you sold me a bad product. Checkered Flag Audi should be ashamed to sell such a poor product. I purchased my car from your dealership because I wanted a quality used car from a reputable establishment. This is not the case.I believe I’ve been very patient and cooperative in this matter, but enough is enough. I’ve left many messages for Alan and my calls have not been returned. I will be seeking legal counsel or better yet 10 On Your Side to expose the type of dealership that I purchased my car from.

Audi has horrible customer service reps that lie through their teeth. I was told I wouldnt be covered on a manufacturing defect because I didnt have a long enough loyalty history (That just means I havent given them enough money yet). When I asked how much money Ive spent with them so far, they had no idea and had to call me back after talking to my dealer. How can you rate my loyalty and not know how much Ive spent as your customer? The part I wanted them to fix was in the turbo, it costs $40.00 but the job runs $2,500 so I was looking for a discount on the incredible service charge. They didnt think it was worth it. Ill never buy another Audi again.

Audi offer sports cars, they are very nice and comfortable. Has a clean and very nice look. Audi probably makes the best look for a car thats why it makes me so happy. Basically on all Audis, they have real nice spoilers. Usually they are low level ones and they make the car in general look very good, the engine as well. Most Audis carry 2 passengers, but the Audi I drive thankfully has 4 seats, so Im not affected by this. Most people are though. Sadly, I have close friends that have a 2 seat Audi. However, the workers were very cool. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy a new car or a car from Audi.

I purchased my 2012 Audi TT used with approximately 7,000 miles on it. I drive the car regularly without any issue and am currently at 38,000 miles. One day the car stopped operating properly and was towed to the Sewickley Audi Dealership, a certified Audi Dealership. After various diagnosis, the service department contacted me to inform me that the car will need an entirely new engine! I was shocked. Although the car was a 2012, the mileage was relatively low for needing an entire new engine. A car should not age because an owner did not drive it year round (which is likely what the original owner did).Audi USA and the dealership offered to covered 75% of the cost of the new engine and the repair because the warranty had expired 1.5 months ago. I was very disappointed in this. I still cannot believe that a car with 38,000 miles could possibly need a new engine. With no other option, I paid for 25% of the repair at $2,500. I will never buy another Audi.

I bought a A4 Quattro, manual transmission, new in January of 2012 from Hiley Audi in Huntsville, Alabama. The vehicle has had the water pump and one injector replaced under warranty and the PCV valve, various modules and gaskets O rings and other items replaced at my expense as well as the shocks that were leaking more oil than the EXXON Valdez. All of this occurred after the car was barely out of warranty. The service department has actually been quite good at diagnosing the problems associated with the vehicle however the expense of having those issues rectified is prohibitive. Now with a little over 100k miles on the car, its burning a quart of oil every 600 miles. No one at Audi notified me about the class action suit on these engines for excessive oil consumption however they did notify me of the extended warranty on the cam chain tensioner which after requesting the replacement they refused to repair even while the car was still under warranty! In short, Im stuck with $6K repair bill for replacing this dog of an engine. The people that work at Audi can only be as good as the management team and in short, the management team at Hiley as well as Audi of America are terrible. On a side note, I have an ACURA RSX that I bought new in 2003 with 200k miles on the odometer that doesnt use a drop of oil and a 1997 BMW 318is with a 168K on the clock that doesnt use any oil either. Basically Audi sells cars that are throwaways after 100,000 miles. In short, if you expect Hiley or Audi of America to stand behind their products, you will be sorely disappointed.

I have bought the Audi A4 since 2005. I purchased CPO for the extended warranty. I have had a 2001, great car and a 2006, another really great car. I was ready to update to a 2013. I found the car online and it is a beautiful car. However, I have had about 3 recalls in the two years that I have owned it. At the time I purchased the car, I bought it sight unseen but by online photos. I discovered the following... the spare tire is not regular size tire but a “donut”, dual temperature control is not standard, the Cd changer no longer exists, and 60/40 split folding seats were not available, as well as a push-button parking break which would probably not be of much service if your accelerator gets stuck and you need to shift to neutral to try to stabilize the car. Features that seem to be standard (or just luck on my previous buys) are now optional or obsolete. Wish I had kept my ‘06, looking to trade-down. When did leather seats become leather inserts... ugh... Oh, yes, the turbo diverter valve has a gasket and required a new piston driven diverter valve, the cost for replacement is approx $3500.00, Why has this issue not been a recall since the issue is addressed online when you get the diagnostics code. Shame on you Audi... Sacrificing quality for cheap.

It had been making strange noises so she took it to the Audi dealership to have it looked at before she left. About an hour away from Charleston, the engine blew. Audi did nothing to help us even though we had the car serviced at the dealership every 10,000 miles for this exact reason. They even still expected us to make our monthly car payments. We ended up getting a new engine put in because our new car repair service had found a 2005 engine that was pretty reasonable. The same thing happened again last Friday.

As of 2020 this car is now 8 years old with 120K kms on it. In the last four years this car has had a number of issues that I have never experienced with much cheaper vehicles I previously owned. Lets see what went wrong... Ball bearings had to be replaced last year, both rear view mirrors -drivers and passengers sides have come unglued, now the coolant is leaking and the water pump needs to be replaced. The worst of all is that the car has been eating oil like crazy - needs to be topped off every 1000kms now - apparently it is due to the issue with the pistons on multiple vehicles but Audi is doing nothing about it. German engineering hasnt proven to be all that great. Sure the car feels nice to drive and handles well but considering the upper class it is not made well. Not buying another Audi again - the amount of issues and the cost of repairs are not worth the nicer interior and nicer handling than your average Mazda or Chevy.

Car failed the oil consumption test in April 2016 full rebuild of engine followed. Never ran right since. Have been back 4 times with cylinder 3 misfire code. Dealer changed Coils, injectors. New spark plugs. Now Im told it is carbon build up on the intake valves, and it needs to come apart again to clean the valves. They had it apart 3 times and no mention of carbon. Carbon build up is called contamination so the extended warranty policy I purchased from them (Fidelity) does not cover this. Fuel injector cleaner, like Sea Foam will prevent this if used periodically. This is not mentioned in any Maintenance schedule. Lost all faith in the Audi mechanics I had my local mechanic de-carbon the valves with NO results 78,000 miles on the car and I am at a loss. Lemon laws dont cover it. While radio presets is a small problem compared to say, engine problems, it is that Audi has been nonchalant about a feature not working at all since the time of purchase. I have had the 2002 A4 Audi since 2007. I bought a certified pre-owned Audi. I have had issues from the beginning. I have had several repairs related to the engine, spark plugs, fuel lines, alternator, etc. In 2009, basically, I had a new engine. I had moved to NJ and did much less driving than before, but that did not stop the issues. Recently, (10/31/2011) I brought the car in for service where the service people charged me over $1000.00 and they said that the car was in good shape and did not need to come back in for another year. Basically, my car sits in one spot, M-F, I drive on the weekends to run errands, no more than a 20 mile radius from where I live. In January, I have been driving to different places for interviews and looking at houses, stuff like that. All within a 200 mile radius. On 1/19/2012, I was driving on I-80 to an interview, I was 23.8 miles from my destination, when I heard a pop, the check engine light came on, and smoke was coming from my hood. When I got to the dealership, they brought out pieces of my transmission. It will now cost approximately $8000-10,000 to fix the transmission.

Audi A4 2003 original owner - After replacing our timing belt and water pump, a problem with heating begins. Then three years ago, the dealership asked us to replace the heater core to resolve the problem with blowing only cold air instead of hot through the heating system during the winter. The cooling system works fine. I was against that because there wasnt any reason the heater core to stop working at once. I changed the dealership, but they obviously had the same policy everywhere not to diagnose, only replace part in order to make money. I gave up and replaced the heater core. As I expected, it didnt resolve the problem at all. After three years of flushing the system at the same dealership, they diagnosed again that the heater core shall be replaced at my expense. It is very disappointing that a relatively good car has so bad service and looks like a not professional service at all.

They were saying that over the course of two years and the wires being held back together by tape that they became loose. We then got State Farm involved and did a 3 way call with the dealership and they agreed to do another tear down at the cost of State Farm, as I had requested them not do any repair work as I would take it up with the previous body shop. But State Farm wanted to send an adjuster out to get an estimate of the damage. Hear nothing until 12-26-2018 When I got an email about the findings and if I wanted to do the repairs or not, and I did NOT respond to the email I instead asked Tim ** the service adviser why I was receiving the email and if it was just automated because the last communication I had during the 3 way call was that State Farm was paying for the repairs not me that I never wanted the work done if I was going to be responsible for the bill. He text me and said “Let me verify with State Farm that they are bringing a check by today or tomorrow”. 12-27-2018 I hear from Tim ** that State Farm is denying the repair and that the repair has already been completed because they sent him over the document containing the estimate he took that as approval for repairs is what he told me. I asked to see said document because I was not in any communication about the repair being done until after the fact. He texts on the same date how pissed he is because the State Farm claims adjuster would not allow him to speak to his supervisor and ask if I would call them the next day and allow a 3 way call with the supervisor of said claims agent “Carter”. Over the next business day when Tim ** realized that State Farm was not going to pay for repairs as they did not and have no right to do approve repairs to my car only I can approve said repairs and I NEVER approved ANY repairs!! So they start looking at me for the money, first telling me the cost of the repair telling me & the advisor at Audi of America that I need to pay it and go after my insurance company for reimbursement. Then when they realize I am not about to pay almost 2k for this repair they then tell me they could charge me the 725$ for the rental car which my agreement was for a “Loaner” car… A few days going back and forth with my local agent, this dealer, and the sheriffs department they then agree to release the car for a lowered amount of $500 and they put my broken part back in and keep their new part. I declined once again as the only thing I approved was a $149 diagnostic fee. I then call Audi Financial who I have the vehicle financed with and told them the story and they really weren’t much help. So after being threatened with the cost of the loaner Audi I decided to return it and get a few things out of my car since it was clear they were going to have it for quite some time. When they finally bring my car around for me to retrieve property out of they had in my front seat my LICENSE PLATE to take with me… talk about taking possession of something I have paid 27k for to this day… WOW! Then I start looking into legal options and possibly even just letting Audi reposes the vehicle as it was going on 3 weeks and no one wanted to help me when this dealer was Clearly STEALING MY CAR!!! I let it go for a week or two this new year as I was stressing way too much. Today on 01-21-2019 I call and speak with service manager Allen, I was being nice considering this dealer has done nothing but rob me for 4 weeks as I’m paying a car payment and insurance on a car they have. I ask if they would consider $350 instead of $500 like they had offered a few weeks back to just put this all behind us since they were in the wrong for doing repairs I never approved and he said no that is not what he and the service advisor offered me and that to take the car off the lot it would be the full $500. I said, Okay if you all want to continue being crooks I will find a way to get my car and he interrupts me and says that they are not crooks and if that is how I felt that I can pay the full invoice price and to not come up there to get the vehicle until I have all the money including the loaner car and hangs up!!! Here I am going out of my way to be the bigger person and Pay them money of any amount other than $149 and I get that type of attitude and yelling from a member or management?? I guess this is what to expect when owned by Buttler Automotive Group out of Macon Ga… Update to come when I retrieve my car.

UPDATED 1/12/2021: I bought a brand new Q7 from Audi 3 yr ago with 5 miles on it. At least 2 of those yrs my truck would say down 1 quart of oil at least every couple months and I would always take it in to Audi then it started being monthly. It would read down 1 qt of oil and I still would take it in thinking that this was normal :(. So now my Q7 dash saying down 1 quart of oil. It’s been 3weeks and when I took it in to Audi I demanded to know why is this happening :(. I was informed that I need my engine to be rebuilt which will cost $19,000 and that my warranty just expired a few months ago @50,000. I complained BIG TIME then Audi said they will pay 75% but I’m responsible for $4980 which I still feel is crazy. How do I go from $89,000 new truck to a piece of junk in 3 years. I HATE I choose Audi to invest my money with cuz this was a waste. :(ORIGINAL REVIEW: I save my hard earn money for 5 years to be able to put a down payment on my Dream 2017 Audi Q7... I was so excited. I dotted all my is and crossed all my t’s just to end up with a Lemon. :( I did research on my Audi truck before purchasing it and when the time came as a single mother I was so excited to finally for the 1st time purchase me a brand new truck with only 3 miles on it... This new Truck quickly went from Dream truck to nightmare truck. :( About a month after I bought my new truck I was hearing a squeak from my breaks. I immediately called the dealership and they told me that was Audi new braking system and with a lil more wear & tear on my truck it would go away. But it never did. :( 3 months later I took my truck to Audi dealership because the squeak From my breaks got louder to the point when I leave for work @5 am my Neighbors could hear me which was so embarrassing as a 1st time new proud car owner... (I’ve had 5 used vehicles in my life all which were a piece of crap always need’n work... I thought my dream Audi truck would be different.)So when I took my truck to Audi they acknowledged that they can hear what Im hearing But at this time there’s nothing that could be done because their system is not showing nothing mechanical is wrong with my truck. So I’m like, You hear this loud ** noise But youre gonna stand here in my face and tell me nothing can be done at this time to keep putting wear and tear on my new Q7 and it will go away? And Audi was like YES.On another occasions I called and complain that the noise is even louder and someone in the service department told me the next time I drive my 2017 Audi Q7 put some speed behind driving then hit breaks real hard and that should fix the problem. Uhhh, I said, that don’t seem safe. I was pissed and felt like I had been had by this premiums upscale car company. So I call corporate and again to my surprise They ask me, What did the dealership say when you took it in? And in so many words the lady says, We can’t do nothing about your truck unless the dealership says it’s a problem. I couldnt believe my ears. I was so hurt. I felt like I was dealing with a slick talking used car salesman. So my complaints and taking my trucks back to different Audis hoping to get this problem fix went on till right now as I write this complaint. And I have yet to still get anyone at Audi to do anything to fix my problem. Its like I NEVER had a brand new vehicle because from the beginning It was a problem... My prayer is that someone learn from my mistake in putting your trust in where I bought my brand new 2017 Audi Q7 and where I’ve communicate with them about this noise on numerous occasions. Audi Financial located 2490 Skokie Valley Rd Highland Pk, IL 60035. I’ve also complained and Have taking my Truck on a few occasions to Audi Orland Pk 8021 159tg St Tinely Pk, Il 60477.As a single mother you hear all the time about how salesmen and dealerships take advantage of women and I do feel like that’s whats happening to me. When I’ve spoken to my Pastor, friends or co-workers about this issue Im having with my truck everyone is shock that Audi is treating me and my truck situation like they Have over this year. My Pastor told me, It’s not that something went wrong with your vehicle. That’s the big thing. It’s how youre being treated about the whole thing... with no respect or not standing behind Audi name. I will continue to write letters & complain about Audi till someone Listens and helps me... Thank you for your time.

Following this chain of events, the car is still in my driveway with the engine in parts in the trunk and the dealer, Barrier Audi, refuses to even pay for the items stolen out of the car:March 29, 2013 - The car died while driving and would not restart. Pete, my son who does not own this car but was driving the car at the time, had the car towed to Barrier Audi. They confirmed that the engine would not start and told him that the engine would have to be torn down in order to determine the cause and extent of potential damage. April 16, 2013 - My son received the following email from Dave (service writer) at Barrier: I spoke with Gary this morning and he informed me that you had emailed him asking for Audi to assist with this repair. Gary has asked me to get authorization from you to do some tear-down so we can determine exactly what needs to be replaced. Essentially you would be agreeing to cover the labor costs ($900) to tear down the engine. Once we know exactly what needs to be done, we can approach Audi and ask for assistance. They may help with some financial assistance but please understand that they may choose not to participate as well and in that case, if you chose not to proceed any further, you would be responsible for the costs of the tear down. Please let me know if you would like to proceed.April 17, 2013 - My son replied to Daves email: Lets go ahead with the tear-down. Sorry for the delay in response. Between work, kids, and wedding planning, things have been a little crazy. June 2013 - My son told me that he had been trying to work with Barrier and Audi Customer Experience to determine what options may be available to repair the car other than the $7,000 estimate that was provided to him by Barrier Audi for a new engine. There have been ongoing problems with the engine in this car from the time it was new, and all we were told was to put oil in it whenever the light came on. Apparently Audi refused to even have a conversation about options for assistance in this repair until he produced every receipt for every quart of oil he added to the car approximately every 500 to 1,000 miles over the 107,000 miles it was driven. He had requested service records from both Larson Audi and Jobs Audi, but received no response from either. He had no work order from Barrier Audi and no invoice. June 27, 2013 - My husband and I met with Dave, the Assistant Service Manager at Barrier Audi. We told him that Pete was not the registered owner of the car; that I was the registered owner. Dave clearly had no interest in a conversation other than Bring all of your receipts for every quart of oil ever put in the car. What we told him was that we were longstanding Barrier customers and understood that they got pulled into this when the car died. We told him that all we are asking is for Barrier to help sort it out with Audi since they and we all know that there is a well-documented problem with this engine. We also told him that we first leased it from Audi Financial and then purchased it from Audi Financial so Audi has already made a lot of money on this car. He turned red in the face a lot but would absolutely not engage in conversation. We asked him why anyone that we know would ever buy another Audi and he said he didnt know. He did not provide the Service Order or provide me with an invoice to pay for the engine tear down. He did not ask me to take the car home. We left with no further resolution.July 26, 2013 - We were told by the service writer that that there is a tech at Barrier Audi that is interested in buying the car as is. We did not respond. We are continuing to try to get service records from the other two Audi dealers. August 21, 2013 - I realized that I did not receive a monthly statement from VW Credit for the Audi. I made an online payment on August 21, 2013. September 4, 2013 - I received a certified letter from VW Credit stating that they had my vehicle and were going to sell it because I broke promises in our agreement. Since no one had tried to contact me from Barrier Audi, I was stunned. I called VW Credit and spoke with Brandon. I asked him what promise in our agreement was broken and why they had the car and planned to sell it. He did not know. He transferred me to Audi Customer Experience when I requested that I speak with someone at Audi.I was transferred to Audi Customer Experience. Andrew, the representative who took the call, did some research and told me that Careful Asset Recovery had the car. He also told me that he would have a release processed so that I could pick up the car and bring it home. He said that they would waive the Voluntary Surrender fee of $250 and that there would be no storage charges. He said that he would look into the circumstances that caused the car to be picked up and call me back. He also said that he would get the service records from the other dealers.September 9, 2013 - We had the car towed home to my house. All of my sons belongings were missing from the car. September 23, 2013 - After not hearing back from Audi Customer Experience, I received an email from Audi Customer Relations Center asking if I was pleased with the resolution of my case. I responded extremely negatively and told them that the case was not resolved. September 23, 2013 - After not hearing back from Audi Customer Experience, I found that Andrew had left a message on the wrong phone. I contacted Andrew and asked about the status with VW credit. He told me that when he contacted Barrier Audi, they told him unbelievably that they had no knowledge of the car. He had not received any of the requested documentation from the other dealers. He transferred me to VW Credit so that I could determine the status on the account there as he had no organizational responsibilities for them. VW Credit was closed for the day.September 24, 2013 - I called VW Credit to get status on the account. I found that over $1,000 had been added to my credit account. Dana did not know why and did not know why I had been charged $250 as a voluntary surrender fee when I had not surrendered the car, and in fact, had no idea that the car was being towed. Dana said that she would call me back after she researched the charges and that it might take up to 72 hours. I was told that I had abandoned the car at the dealership and that the amount of the engine teardown, which was not authorized by me had been added to my car purchase account. I have never seen the work order nor bill for the teardown. VW Credit seemed startled that I had no information nor requests for payment from the dealer, but they also clearly could not find any such communication in the records.September 25, 2013 - Dana from VW Credit called back and I asked what the charges were for and was told that they were: Collection charges (I told Dana that they could not be collection charges since the account was current. Dana agreed); Storage charges (I told Dana that they could not be storage charges since Audi Customer Experience had them waived. Dana agreed); Service charges from Barrier Audi who had said that they had no knowledge of the car (I told Dana that I had not authorized any work, nor had I seen any invoice. Dana agreed that these should not be service charges but that Barrier Audi had the amount placed on the account.)I was also told that their records stated that Barrier Audi had contacted them (VW Credit) to have the car towed. I was then told that I had abandoned the car at the dealership and that the amount of the engine teardown, which was not authorized by me had been added to my car purchase account. I told her that I had never seen the work order nor bill for the teardown. I had also not been asked to pick up the car. Dana seemed startled that I had no information nor requests for payment from the dealer, but she could not find any such communication in their records either. I asked what reason Barrier Audi gave for their actions and Dana said that they could not locate a reason in the file. I asked if they made a habit of towing cars with no reason and was told that they typically simply do as the dealer requests. I asked if VW Credit was aware that in Washington state, no one can be charged for car repairs without a signed work order. I was told that they do not know about laws in the state of Washington or any other state and that I would have to take it up with Barrier Audi. VW Credit waived the $250 voluntary surrender fee and tried to conference Gary **, the Service manager at Barrier Audi. He was not available. Dana left a message for him to call her back. He did not call her back. I did not receive a statement because VW Credit thought that they still had possession of the car. They were surprised to hear that I had the car at home. They said that they would put a rush on sorting out the account. I filed a complaint with the Washington State Attorney Generals office.October 7, 2013 - I received an email from the Attorney Generals Office with a letter attached from Audi of America. They stated that since I had not provided the service records (which had been requested from the two dealers weeks before and not received) that they could not do anything. They also stated that the VW Credit issue was completely separate and not their problem. Mr. ** also stated that he had no response from VW Credit. October 9, 2013 I received an email from Andrew with two attached service orders from Larson Audi and Jobs Audi as requested by him September 4th and by me in June.October 21,2013 - I sent an email at Andrews suggestion to request a time to speak with Mr. **, the Barrier Audi Service manager. October 23, 2013 - My husband and I met with Mr. ** in his office on October 23. He acknowledged that there are three known issues with the engine that is in my A4. He detailed the issues. He stated that there were fixes for two of them and he did not know if they had been applied to my car. He also told us that Audi had told the dealers that the extreme oil usage in the car was normal and that oil should just be added every time the light came on. Audi later told them that it was not normal and that there were things that needed to be done to correct the problem. Given these problems, we were told that the engine warranty had been extended to 120,000 miles. This was the first time that anyone had told us about an extended engine warranty.Mr. ** told us that he was not aware that the car was being towed until the two truck driver showed up and asked for the keys. He said that they had no responsibility to notify the registered owner and in fact, we were told that it was not their responsibility to determine the registered owner of the car. This is notwithstanding the fact that we told his Assistant Manager back in June that I was the registered owner of the car. He maintained that Barrier did not have the car picked up. He also told us that Barrier never charges storage fees, nor do they file mechanics liens because they are onerous in the state of Washington. He also maintained that he had no idea about how any additional charges wound up on my credit account. He said that VW Credit must have initiated the car pick up. This is unlikely since VW Credit had no idea that the car was at Barrier Audi until contacted by Barrier Audi and the account was current.I asked him if he would assist us in getting the funds, presumably for the unauthorized work, separated on the credit account. He said that he would try but that he really had no influence with VW credit. I told him that I had still never received a copy of the work order nor an invoice. He said that he would take care of that right away and print it while we were there. He brought it up on his screen, looked at it for a minute and told us that he could not print it because his PC hung. We asked if he would email it and he agreed. He told us that he would contact the local Audi representative to see what could be done and that we would need to supply the work orders. We told him that we would email them which we subsequently did. I also asked if he would provide the detail of how the car came to be towed. We did not receive the work order or invoice.October 29, 2013 - I received a response email from Mr. **. He listed the additional service information that is required by Audi and told us that from now on we were to deal directly with Audi. The work order was not provided, nor was an invoice. October 30, 2013 I responded to his email and asked him again to provide the work order and invoice. I also asked him to provide the detail regarding how the car came to be towed. I received a response from him. It had the work order attached as well as the email that my son sent back in April to ask them to tear down the engine. The only detail provided regarding the vehicle pickup is:While we would have liked to contact you, we did not have any personal information of yours, Peter was our only contact. Because the car had been sitting on our lot for 4 months we found Audi Financial was the legal owner of the vehicle and contacted them. Due to privacy issues, they do not provide us with your personal information. 1 month later Audi Financial paid for and picked up the vehicle. As far as personal possessions that is something you will need to talk with Audi Financial about as they took possession of the vehicle.I contacted VW Credit following this email. According to them, Barrier contacted VW Credit in July about having the car picked up. This was shortly after the offer to buy the car by a service tech was received and ignored. They knew who the registered owner of the car was and made no attempt whatsoever to contact me about the situation. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and asked for the charges to be reversed from the account, reimbursed for the towing charges to bring my car home and the cost of my sons stolen possessions. They continue to say that it is not their problem.

Bought a 2009 Audi S8 from Vin Devers Audi In Sylvania, OH. The service department had just completed the requires 55,000 mile service. I received the vehicle and had it scan 2 days after by my local mechanic. He found the car to have low voltage to the TB and other areas, as well as the vehicle running lean. The vehicle was accompany by a 30 day 1000 mile warranty for engine, trans and some other areas. Within 2 weeks I got a check engine light and the EPC light came on and the car will not drive above 40 MPH. Took the vehicle to my local dealer and they found wiring then was repair when the vehicle had only 10,000 miles and paid for by Audi Corp. Spoke to the Sales MGR and SVR MGR and was told there is nothing they could do. I opened a case with Audi corp and was told the same thing even though they paid for the original repair. I now have to pay to repair poor workmanship by Audi trained techs for faulty work. I will never buy another Audi and hoping everyone else will boycott their product.

I was happy that there were several models to choose from with different features. It is a luxury brand and that is what I felt when in the car and I enjoyed it. It seemed to fit me well. The model that I had was compact so the passenger capacity was not that good. But it seated 4 people comfortably. There were larger models available but I enjoyed the way the smaller model handled. It looks good and had a classic style and color. I like new features but I dont like flashy features that add no value to the car. The car I had was not new but I liked that the newer models had a lot of features as options. It was nice to know that if I wanted to upgrade to more features later, they would be available.

There are so many Audi models like A3 R8 Q7 Cabriolet A5 TY SS, so many letter number variations to please the most picky buyer. The different letter number combinations each have distinct factors. I love the Roadster! It is so sporty and sleek with so many extras and small touches that make it distinct. The appearance rivals that of the most opulent cars. You can upgrade by package and any type of upgrade and personalization is available. You have the power to build your perfect car! I got mine fully loaded and was extremely happy with the package. The extras made the entire experience of owning and driving the car a most pleasant one. The car looks mid size to small but fits passengers very comfortably with tons of head and leg room. There is also plenty of storage space.

Purchased 2013 Audi A5 with 2k miles no warranty. Developed a very bad vibration from front end, no damage, changed wheels and tires still no better. Seems that vibration is a common problem with this model, search any Audi forum and you can see for yourself. Replaced minor this and that up to 25k when the engine started making a diesel sound. Mechanic tells me problem; timing chain and tensioner is common with this motor and charges me $2500 to repair. Before assembly shows me where the timing chain has bore a hole in the side of the motor due to faulty part (picture).Notified Audi of America who tells me so sorry to hear that however if you want to take the car to a dealer and have them disassemble (at your own cost) we will look into it... Really? I guess a picture documenting the problem isnt good enough. Replace more this and thats and develop a clicking in the front end from both wheels, another common problem with Audi requiring more mechanical labor... Dont even care at this point, Ill keep the windows up! 45k miles and another light on the dash equals more time in the shop, this time its the Camshaft for some reason, and cant just replace one... Another $4500. They say its difficult to have brand loyalty with Audi? No kidding.Just keep getting slapped in the face from this Audi, no quality and no customer service help. The its a common problem with Audi cars keeps ringing in my ears. I saw a post on an Audi owners site that said something like If you cant afford a couple grand for a repair, youre driving the wrong car. A very true statement! Do yourself a favor and look at a few Audi owners’ websites before making a purchase, youll be glad you did. For me, Im covering this overpriced piece of junk and letting it set before it costs me anymore money to drive. The Audi experience!!

Vehicle (2016 A6 Quattro) has shut off while driving. Vehicle has shut off while at a stop light; would not immediately restart. Fiddled with the gears, put in park. Got vehicle to start after about 30-60 seconds. 30-60 seconds is a significant amount of time at a stop light that has just turned green. This has happened 3 times. Enter vehicle; start; put in reverse or drive to exit my driveway; car has shut off while attempting to exit driveway, 4 times; warning/Prompting me to put it in park. Brakes or rotors make a scratching noise; notice if driving close to a wall or median (to reflect the sound) when windows are down. Have had brakes checked by dealer multiple times and have been told they were fine. However, they make a constant noise. My parking sensor has been stuck in a position that makes vehicle think the passenger side front bumper is in contact with something. Will usually go back to normal by the next day. This has happened twice. Also has 2 recalls. 1 has not been completed. The other, the airbag recall, has been unable to be repaired. Dealer states they have not been sent the parts. This has been ongoing for months now.

Has to be one of the worse car manufacturers on the planet. Bought a 2010 Q5 from an Audi dealer. Dealers claim they inspect the vehicle. Have had it now for a year and a half. Put 7k miles on it. I have already spent around $5k in repairs and it is in the shop again with the dealer saying the engine needs replaced for another $11k. I now have to spend another $5k to pay it off and not have a car. Engine currently has less that 70k on it. I will never purchase another Audi/VW product in my life.

Long term Audi owner, six different models over 20 years and now having issues with burning oil and flat tires and bent rims (2013 A5). Dealer trying to deal with issue but Audi Canada, or whatever third party company represent them in Canada, are incredibly difficult to deal with. Stonewalling and reading from the same old manual of trying to get the customer off the phone with no opportunity to escalate call. No contact info provided for Audi Canada management including the office of the president, as if they were in a bunker somewhere in Germany. Appalling attitude and no resolution. This will be the last Audi I buy or lease because of the arrogant attitude.

My purchase day was overshadowed by joy of buying a car, failing to see that Audi was not about the purchaser nor providing all 10s service. What has really maddened me today is I get a call I am thinking is a survey of my recent servicing, only to get hung up on, unable to express my concerns due to lack of professional communication. I thought I was saying yes to the rep saying all my information correctly. But after being hung up on, it left me wondering what was the call about. Not even a goodbye, thank you. Audi wants buyers to think they are for satisfaction but they only do things that is necessary just to say they have done it because they dont care if they have met the goal or provided customer satisfaction. I have been battling with them ever since my purchase but my concerns are not what they care to hear. I had to have a second delivery in which even direct, specified, unsatisfactory issues were not even addressed that I had pointed out in a written response. I wish I would have took my business elsewhere. Sometimes I wonder the true value of the whole deal.I wish there was another rep I could make a formal complaint to but I am going to keep long for that. It almost seems as if a $60,000 price means nothing to the dealer about committing to satisfaction. I have had a repair done and the console piece pop right off the next day, which clearly was not attached properly, only to have the same issue serviced again in less than 2 months. I see why people buy BMW and Mercedes. The service is better, the agreement is firm, and you are not judged. They make it known to please give us all 10s on the survey at Greensboro Audi but they are less than 6. I like my car but the way I feel about how they treat me, sometimes I just want to sell it back just to rid myself of the association with Audi.

I purchased a pre-owned vehicle at the end of May, 2009. I had previously used this dealer in Mendham NJ as I had purchased a New Vehicle many years ago, however had never purchased a pre-own vehicle ever. Unfortunately the vehicle was never inspected or provided maintenance by Audi although they have a service department. The first week the maintenance light came on, I called and oops they will do a complimentary maintenance. Two weeks later I am driving (over an hour) to work get cut off, go to use the horn, the horn does not work.I call in they find it strange only to find out that the horn cannot be repaired as the entire thing has to be replaced. On Friday the maintenance light came on. I take it in, they said Did you notice that your check engine light was on? I said no as it was not on, they said Well we turned it off. I said Is there a problem? They said Well sometimes it comes on but we turned it off. The next day my check engine light came on. The vehicle is due for an inspection at the end of the month. Yesterday I went to pick up my girl in school and the car would not start. I thought I needed it to get towed, finally it started. I have send emails and left messages. No one is returning my calls. The only people that call are sales associate. When I tell them the issue, they said we will have someone from service give you a call. No one has as of yet. The vehicle that I had purchased new I did over $8000.00 in repairs to get it ready for inspection. At the end after they told me it was ready the service guy calls and said, Your torque converter, the check engine light came on. We will not charge you for labor as this should have been noticed. We will only charge you for parts excess of $2500.00. If this is not rectified, I will never use Audi of Mendham, NJ again and the marketing will be negative as word of mouth is the worst marketing tool yet.

I was very excited when I purchased my first Audi which was a brand new 2020 Audi Q3. I had been wanting an Audi for quite some time, however this has by far been the worst car purchase I have ever experienced. I bought this car in June of 2020 and today is 8/13/2020 and today marks the 3rd time I have to drop this brand new car off for servicing. I hadnt even driven the car 500 miles yet before I got an error message stating system malfunction. I shut off the car and restarted it and few minutes later, same error message.Took it for servicing and supposedly they fixed it after a week or so but few days later after driving my vehicle, got the same error message. The second time I took it in, they kept my car for 22 days and replaced the turbo and again while leaving I was told that the issue was resolved. Got my car back and then few days later, I got the same error message. I am beyond dissatisfied with my purchase and this was least expected. I am very turned off and would never ever purchase another Audi and would never recommend an Audi to anyone. I wish I could just return this car. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED WITH AUDI AND SUPER FRUSTRATED.

I was thinking of the words to describe my experience with Audi and the best word that I could think of is UNFORTUNATE. That is exactly how I feel unfortunate that I purchased an Audi. An Audi is a perfect example of the old adage all that is glitter is not gold. At first glance, the car is beautiful, sadly the most important component, the engine, is garbage and I cannot get the stain of the green from the stain of the fake gold off of my finger.I purchased a 2013 Audi A4 in May 2016. I had owned a Mercedes for many years and my car was totaled due to a flooding in my area. During this period, my car was great which led me to the delusion that all German cars would bring me the same level of service. Sadly, I was mistaken, very mistaken. Within two months, my car needed a replacement of the air condition. A few months later, the car required a water pump replacement. Well, you may be thinking no big deal. Wait, it did not end there. Within 6 months of purchase, my beautiful Audi needed an entire engine. Of course, according to the dealership and the warranty company, that was all my fault because I had failed to maintain the car. And, although I provided documentation that I had indeed changed the oil, that did not matter because after purchasing the car with 38,000 miles and driving it an additional 12,000 miles the oil in the car was so dirty that it caused the timing to shift. After contacting the manufacturer, the representative advised me that the car should be good for $10,000 miles. I advised her that I had it for only 6 months, her response, Well the previous owner must not have changed the oil. So, my advice to all is DO NOT PURCHASE AN AUDI. Not only is it poorly manufactured, they will only blame you for its poor construction. And, you will be stuck paying for a car note and a brand new engine. Thanks to this car I am further in debt. I wish I would have stayed with Mercedes. I HATE AUDI!!!

I bought a used 2005 A4 convertible (Cabriolet 1.8T) with 48K miles on it. It now has 58K miles on it, and the TCM part on the transmission is faulty. I hear that this problem is common, yet Audi has yet to admit to their mistake. I doubt that I will be purchasing another Audi in my lifetime.

Car has 20k miles. It has had key fob unrecognized, have to walk away, come back, it works. Ive had engine shut off on highway due to overheating (thank God I was next to the shoulder lane). My check brake light indicator comes, lights up on the dash, brake lights however work fine. Dealer so far has added antifreeze (it wasnt low to begin with - just above min) cant find problem with light, would have to tear car down. Then I was rear ended at stop light, 8k in repair done by Audi, car now vibrates. Took it to sunny side Audi bodyshop, they sent me to Sunnyside Audi dealer in middleburg OH, (place of purchase/service) and they try to sell me tires and balance after saying nothing wrong with car alignment. Cant guarantee me that it will fix the problem. I did NOT have a vibration problem before being rear ended.I called Audi America, they sent me back to dealer to try to work something out. My tires have PLENTY of tread left as I used winter tires for at least 8k miles of the 20k. Just a horrible experience with the car, with the service, with the repair work of Audi manufacturing, sunny side Audi service, sunny side Audi collision center. Ive owned Honda, Toyota, Ford and Acura, not had any problems. Acura replaced a 600.00 part under warranty. It failed 2 years later after extended warranty expired and they fixed it again, free of charge under good faith. Audi should learn from this. Im going back to Acura. Im not unreasonable. I offered to pay for tires if indeed it takes care of problem. If it doesnt they should. As I said it 100% did not shake/vibrate before accident. The other electrical issues I just deal with until lease end.

This brand has a fairly wide variety of models. Including Audi A3 Sedan, Audi Q3, Audi A4, Audi A3 Cabriolet and many more exclusive and family cars. The variety of models range from sedan to cabriolet. I had the Audi A3 Cabriolet, it was a beautiful cobalt blue. It had a nice range of features. Mine was a standard wheel drive. The stereo was very nice as well. You can option this beautiful car out to your hearts content. You can add a turbo, choose your color, change stock stereo set and much more. The capacity in my car was good. However, I would imagine a sedan being much more spacious and better for family than my cabriolet. My cabriolet had enough room for myself and my school supplies, however.

It has been my greatest misfortune to have bought an Audi A4. Early on we recognized that we had two problems: one was the ever changing and replacing of the fuel pump and the second was the sludge problem. The first recognition of the sludge problem was on March 18, 2008. This receipt I have. It said Rich found possible oil sludge problem. We then visited Life Quality automobiles of Bay Ridge again on September of 2008 and November of 2008. On one of these dates we paid close to $6000 to fix the sludge problem. The receipt that I do have for 3/18/2008. We also have a service and change of oil at the Audi service center Life Quality. All service and oil changes have been made at Zumbach when were living in NYC. Then Life Quality and Audi of Brooklyn when we moved to Brooklyn.I dont have the receipt for September or November of 2008. I never thought that I would need it for a future claim. I went to the offices of Audi of Brooklyn in May of 2011 to try and get copies of the work but since they bought out Life Quality of Bay Ridge, they only kept the receipts for 2 years and they destroyed any receipts that would have been in my file. Their computer system shows I was in on those two months but they cannot see the details of those days.Once we did pay for the sludge problem, we were under a new 8-year warranty. In June 23, 2009, I was at Audi of Brooklyn and the sludge problem occurred again. I do have this receipt and they fixed the problem again; but since we were covered under the warranty, we did not pay this time.It has been painful monetarily to own an Audi. This sludge problem is ongoing and recurring. To ask me for copies of receipts after three years is unfair. In September of 2008 I had just moved into my new house in Brooklyn and I had just given birth to my son. It is understandable that some papers would have been misplaced.I would like to be reimbursed for my hardship with this car and the funds I paid to fix the initial sludge problem. The car right now has a sludge problem. I can’t keep fixing this problem; it is annoying. I really feel that I received a damaged engine and I would like Audi to replace it with a new or used undamaged engine. It is more costly for them to have to keep fixing an ongoing recurring problem.I am enclosing all and any of the receipts I do have. Replace my engine and reimburse for sludge costs.
