2026 Audi A6
The 2026 Audi A6 continues as one of Audi’s core executive-class luxury sedans, offering a blend of comfort, technology, performance, and understated elegance. Positioned between the smaller A4 and the larger A8 in Audi’s sedan family, the A6 appeals to buyers who want a premium, sophisticated vehicle suitable for executive travel, daily commuting, long-distance cruising, or a combination of all three. Audi’s commitment to refined driving dynamics, a premium interior, and advanced features remains strong in the A6, making it a compelling choice in its segment.
Design & Exterior Identity
The 2026 Audi A6 presents a refined and purposeful exterior design that balances modern aesthetics with classic sedan proportions:
Sleek silhouette: Long, low stance contributes to both aerodynamic efficiency and elegant presence.
Signature grille: A wide, bold grille and focused headlight design convey modern Audi identity.
Clean bodywork: Smooth lines and precise detailing create a premium and timeless look that avoids trends that quickly age.
Subtle sophistication: The A6’s styling emphasizes dignity and refinement rather than aggressive sportiness.
The exterior design suits buyers who want a professional yet stylish luxury sedan.
Powertrain & Performance
The 2026 A6 is engineered for confident performance that aligns with its luxury positioning:
Turbocharged engine: A turbocharged four-cylinder or a more powerful V6 (depending on trim) provides balanced performance and efficiency.
Automatic transmission: A refined automatic gearbox delivers smooth shifts and lively responses when needed.
Available all-wheel drive: Quattro all-wheel drive enhances traction and composure in varied driving conditions.
Power delivery: Tuned to offer both calm cruising and responsive acceleration, suitable for freeway merging, passing, and daily traffic.
While not a sports car, the A6 has enough power to satisfy drivers who expect confident acceleration and stable high-speed behavior.
Driving Dynamics & Comfort
The 2026 A6 strikes a balance between ride comfort and dynamic control:
Steering: Precise and balanced, supporting confident highway cruising or responsive city driving.
Suspension tuning: Optimized for comfort over long distances while still reducing body roll in dynamic cornering.
Noise isolation: Enhanced sound insulation helps make cabin environments calm and serene, even at highway speeds.
All-weather capability: Available all-wheel drive improves confidence in rain, light snow, or changeable conditions.
Driving the A6 feels composed, refined, and suitable for executive-class transport.
Interior Comfort & Luxury
Inside, the A6 delivers a premium cabin environment that combines quality materials, comfort, and functional design:
Seating: Supportive and comfortable seats with available adjustments and heating/ventilation for long trips.
Materials: High-grade upholstery, soft-touch surfaces, and refined trim elements elevate the cabin’s atmosphere.
Space: Generous front and rear passenger room make the A6 ideal for chauffeur-style travel or executive comfort.
Refinement: Thoughtful layout and quiet operation reinforce the A6’s luxury focus.
The interior blends elegance with everyday practicality, suitable for work, travel, or leisure.
Technology & Connectivity
The 2026 A6’s technology suite supports modern expectations without overwhelming drivers:
Digital driver display: Customizable readouts for speed, navigation, and vehicle information.
Central infotainment system: Intuitive menus and responsive interface integrate navigation, media, and settings.
Smartphone integration: Wireless connectivity supports today’s digital lifestyles.
Connectivity features: Multiple USB and charging options support passengers and drivers alike.
Technology focuses on clarity and convenience rather than distraction.
Safety & Driver Assistance
Safety systems in the A6 are designed to support confidence and peace of mind:
Adaptive cruise control: Helps maintain safe distances with minimal driver stress on long drives.
Lane assist systems: Support stability and help keep the vehicle centered at highway speeds.
Automatic braking and collision mitigation: Aim to reduce impact risk during sudden situations.
Blind-spot and cross-traffic alerts: Enhance awareness in urban and highway environments.
These systems operate in harmony with the driving experience rather than commanding it.
Strengths of the 2026 Audi A6
Executive-class refinement: Quiet, composed, and comfortable cabin suitable for business or leisure.
Balanced performance: Turbocharged power with available all-wheel drive makes everyday driving confident and stable.
High-quality interior: Premium feel without over-the-top opulence.
Modern technology: Useful connectivity and entertainment without distraction.
Sleek design: Timeless exterior styling that fits professional identities.
Trade-offs & Considerations
Cargo space: Adequate for a luxury sedan but smaller than larger SUV competitors.
Ride firming in sport settings: Suspension tuned for precision can feel firm compared with comfort-only rivals.
Fuel economy: Competitive but not class-leading.
Electrification options limited: Buyers seeking full electrification may look at separate models in the Audi lineup.
Who the 2026 A6 Is Best For
The 2026 Audi A6 is ideal for buyers who:
Want an executive-class luxury sedan with balanced performance and elegant styling.
Appreciate refined interior comfort for driver and passengers.
Prefer a vehicle that excels at both city commuting and highway cruising.
Value a combination of modern technology and intuitive controls.
Seek a premium vehicle that doesn’t shout, but expresses confidence and quality.
Bottom Line
The 2026 Audi A6 continues to deliver a refined, balanced package that combines luxury, performance, comfort, and modern technology in a respected executive sedan. Its smooth power delivery, elegant design, and premium interior make it a strong contender for executives, frequent travelers, and anyone who wants a luxury daily driver without excess. For buyers who value dignity, comfort, and confident performance, the A6 remains a compelling choice.

2017 Audi A3 under 45k miles needs a brand new fuel canister and a NEW TRANSMISSION! The Factory warranty expired less than a month ago but I was in quarantine on top of sky high Covid cases. Dealership has had my car now for 2 weeks and sent an estimate for $10,800+. Then had the nerve to say they would cover half!! Like what! Half?? I’m mind blown that this can even be an issue on this new of a car, but it’s even more mind boggling that its an AUDI. They use to be my favorite brand. I’m afraid to even get this car back as it’s obviously a lemon, and it doesn’t seem like they will stand behind it.
I bought a Audi Q5 2015 back in October 2014. At the moment picking up the car and paying for the balance, the person who assist me promised to give me the new Apple cable connector to plug my iPhone, which was unavailable at time. When they received the new cable they never called back to pick it up. A few weeks ago in July 2015 I called asking for the cable. The person who helped back then was no longer working for Audi of Mississauga and they said they couldnt give me the cable as promised.I called Audi Canada and after made me wait three days for an answer they said they couldnt give the cable. Now, in October 2015, when I picked the car they gave a Gift Certificate for $50. Now in July 2015 that I want to use the same dealer Audi - Mississauga - Ontario - Canada, said it was expired. I would never recommend this car made Audi to anyone. The sales representative, Alex **, provided us with the worst customer service ever. Never answered his phone and had the courage to sent text messages. Very disappointed. I regret 100% buying this car. Next time I will go for a Range Rover without doubt.
Has to be one of the worse car manufacturers on the planet. Bought a 2010 Q5 from an Audi dealer. Dealers claim they inspect the vehicle. Have had it now for a year and a half. Put 7k miles on it. I have already spent around $5k in repairs and it is in the shop again with the dealer saying the engine needs replaced for another $11k. I now have to spend another $5k to pay it off and not have a car. Engine currently has less that 70k on it. I will never purchase another Audi/VW product in my life.
Six months after purchasing a 2007 Audi A6 with 57k miles the steering control module required replacement. The cost to fix was $2,600. Because this obviously a result of poor engineering and not a wear and tear issue I wrote a complaint to Audi directly. Their response: We are sorry to learn of your issue however the car is not under warranty (they wont acknowledge the fact that this is a common issue as seen on many Audi forums) and because you did not buy at an Audi dealership and you are not a loyal Audi customer (1st Audi and last) we will not assist with repair. The point of my writing this is that their vehicles are over engineered and repair record and costs are absurd. Oh and dont even try to bring to someone other than an Audi dealership because they cannot work on them. And the dealerships know this full well!!! I am through with the 4 rings of death as my mechanic calls them and switching back to Lexus. Dont get taken by the looks of what I think is a great looking vehicle like I did. You will be surely regret it and be shopping for a new car ASAP.
I have a 2015 Audi A3. I am the only owner of the car. It has 42k. Last week while driving to work, I felt a weird shake, at first I thought I had a flat tire. But I quickly realized that I wasnt that lucky. (insert sad face emoji here). The check engine and EPC (I may have those letters wrong) lights were on. Long story short the car was flatbed towed to the dealership. They gave me a loaner (Q3) and I was on my way. Later that day, they called and said my car had a bad fuel injector. They ordered the part and said my car would be repaired the next day. The next day, I was called and told that while replacing the fuel injector, they discovered that a piston had exploded! They called it a catastrophic engine failure. That is still a little hard to digest. Fortunately, my car is still under warranty. Audi is replacing my whole engine. I own another Audi and I am a fan of the brand. I will comment again when I get my car back, sometime this week. Hopefully, I will be happy.
The A/C unit in my 2008 Audi TT seized necessitating $1,600 to repair. I called Audi customer service and was led to believe they would help. One week later, Customer Service called back to inform me that no assistance would be provided.
I leased a car with Audi in Dec of 2015 and prepaid my taxes. In May of 2017, the car was stolen. There were injuries to the driver. Audi came back to me in 2019 trying to collect property taxes again. At no time did Audi attempt to make the situation better nor did they even discount the second lease. They also failed to turn in the car as stolen in 2017 with the assessment. And then they turned me over to a collection agency after coming forward two years later.
Variety is great. The vehicle has hands on compatibility and an amazing stereo system stock inside with bass functions of a custom audio input system. Music is great for me and I loved that about the Vehicle. You cant go wrong with a classy, luxurious look. The vehicle has these looks plus the modernization of newer vehicles. The capabilities within its representation actually complements the vehicles abilities very well. I literally never see small cars with a lot of room but the Audi is made for small vehicle, great gas but holds more passengers than most cars and is about equal to an SUV passenger. Upgrading is Automatic. It also works very well for the car. I personally believe that if you want your dream car and get it drive until it Falls completely apart with this vehicle you would be driving for Eternity. They need to distribute a new vehicle call Audi Eternity.
Bought a used (but looked like-new) 2004 Audi A4 1.8T. It had 82k miles on it from the previous owner of 10 years. No accidents, what could go wrong? Seemed like a diamond in the rough. Carfax said it never had major repairs done to it whatsoever. Seriously good deal right? Wrong. The dealers had left the car light on and blamed the last owner for making it a problem and having to change the battery. Dealers said theyd replace the battery before they sold it to me. Okay. Bought it, picked it up, went home. It sat there. Few days later? Dead car. Called the dealers, had them tow the car, sat in their off-the-map shop for 4 days with no communication because the mechanic was too busy and sounded annoyed the one time I tried to get in touch. It finally came home to me, only to find a scratched side mirror that wasnt there before (I have picture proof) and a check engine light. Next few days - dead again. Battery was fine, its something electrical. This is a good a time as any to mention that the car is completely automatic and locks everything. Can hardly get into the drivers side, all other doors are locked, trunk is locked, no real locks inside or key hole for truck, nope. All automatic. Huge hassle. Im getting a refund. Its more money than its worth. NEVER AGAIN.
In 2007, I purchased a 2003 Audi convertible A4 - 3.0. A few months after purchasing the car with 40,000 miles on the car and 1 month after the warranty expired, the CVT transmission went out. I contacted the local Audi dealer after a lot of wrangling the dealer reluctantly advised Audi would help me with 50% of the repair cost. My portion of this bill was $2,800. 40,500 miles after the transmission was replaced, I need yet another transmission. I called the local Audi dealer and was told that they warrant these transmissions for only 1 year. I asked if Audi would cover a portion of the cost of another transmission and he said no. I called the Audi headquarters and again was told that they only guaranteed the transmissions for 1 year. The lady I spoke with told me that they covered my first transmission replacement at 75% of the cost (I was told 50% by the dealership) and by my calculations, if they covered 75%, then the replacement transmission cost was in the range of $11,200! Bottom line: Audi has a faulty CVT transmission and they should back their product. I realize nothing last forever, but three transmissions within 80,500 miles is ridiculous!
Audi offered a decent amount of models to offer the buyer a variety of cars to choose from. It was nice to see different kinds of cars that fit my needs and having the possibility to choose the best fit. They offer an amazing array of features for your new bought car. Additionally, the cars all look great, modern, and sleek. From what I saw their personalization options looked very promising if I ever need to use it in the future. My Audi has 5 seats and that exactly what fits my needs. The other Audi cars that I reviewed before deciding to purchase my current car had different passenger capacities ranging from high to low, just what fits each customers needs. I would definitely recommend Audi cars to my friends and family.
I bought from FLOW AUDI in Greensboro (NC) a brand new AUDI RS5 convertible on April 1st 2013. Vin # WUAC6AFH6DN900220. With just 9,000 miles, the RS5 had a very bad problem with the breaks. When I pushed the breaks, the car was shaking, especially when I try to use the break at the speed of 75/80 mph. On November 15th 2013, I brought the RS5 at the dealer in Greensboro and I spoke with the service manager. The service manager gave me a courtesy car to use and in the afternoon, I was contacted by an adviser of the Audi service in Greensboro. This adviser told me that my car needs new pads and new rotor and that these parts are coming from Germany and the wait to have this parts was 2 weeks. The service adviser told me that during these 2 weeks I could drive my car. When I told him that the problem with the breaks was very bad especially at 80 mph, he answers me back that the speed limit is 65 mph.The next morning, I went to pick my car to the dealer in Greensboro and when I told the service adviser that driving over the speed limit is my problem and that the car is supposed to handle higher speed than 80 mph, I was very impolite and he threw the document of my car on the desk. When I told him that he has to be polite, he told me ** YOU. My reaction wasnt really polite and he told me again ** YOU and he was intimidating me. Only the intervention of the manager of the service at the location stopped him. After this issue, in any case the AUDI Dealer changed the front rotors and pads in 2 weeks. After 2000 miles, I had the same problem and on February 2014 I went again to the AUDI Dealer in Greensboro (NC). This time, the service manager told me that I have to replace the back rotors and pads. On March 2014, after the changing of the back rotors and pads, the car had the same problem and was very dangerous to drive it. I have many witnesses that can testify that wasnt possible to safety drive the car. I went again to the dealer and at the end, the service manager told me that this defect was normal. I also wrote to the customer service at AUDI without any positive answer, only words. On April 2014, I tried to trade the car at the AUDI Dealer asking for a different car without this problem. The valuation of my car with only 12000 miles was ridiculous. At the end of April, I trade my AUDI with a brand new Maserati, and I am very satisfy. I will never buy another AUDI.
I have been attempting to use the Audi US website (as well as Audis global website) for over 3 hours as of 3:55 PM US Eastern Time on 28 April 2019. Audi - whether at their US or audi.com (global) website provides no way to contact Audi - whether by phone, by chat or by email and whether at their global or US websites to deal with this issue. I was trying to start the purchase of an Audi. So as to German competitors to Audi - both the BMW and Mercedes websites work perfectly and responsively. Given this experience, I will not be purchasing an Audi/Volkswagen/Porches for my new care, which I will buy in 2019. What a sad state of affairs for a global company, which has violated pollution control laws in the very recent past in the EU, USA and possibly elsewhere.
This is our 4th Audi including 5000s A6, and now A4 FWD 2013. For the first 20,000 miles the car was great. Suddenly, without warning the car acted like it was turned off when you pressed on the gas pedal and then as you depressed further it was like the lights went on and the tires would spin and accelerate excessively. It happens when either my wife or I drive it and it is sporadic but puts us in extreme danger when it occurs. One time I almost hit another car and my wife was almost hit 3 times when pulling out at intersections and onto the highway. It has been to the dealer several times and they explained that it is functioning as expected. The mechanics said that almost all FWD A4s with CVT have this issue to different levels of severity and that we were lucky to have gone 20,000 miles without an issue. The dealer has been very accommodating but unless it fails or throws a code there is nothing they can do. Audi acknowledges privately there are problems with the CVT but I am guessing they dont want another recall on them. We are trying one more time before we get rid of the car and buy something other than an Audi.
I had the flaps replaced twice on my 2008 Audi TT Roadster, and just yesterday, the convertible top would not close. Therefore, I am going to have to replace the flap motor again. In addition, the rear driver side light keeps going out, and just yesterday, the check engine light just came on. I love the car but handle all the problems related to the 2008 Audi TT.
I like the Audi R8 for the sleek design and makes me feel young again. The power behind the wheel is awesome. Life itself seems to stop existing when you jump on the highway. Very clean high-class interior. Comfortable heated and cooled seats for both summer and winter months. Purrs like a baby whilst idle. Good things for this brand. Always recommend upgrades. Better stereo system and bass boost. Get the heated seats and tinted windows. Really only meant for a two seater person vehicle but has a back seat.
I was only looking for a certain model, but Audi had so many choices. If you didnt know what you wanted there would be lots to choose from. The decision would not be easy. I got everything I was looking for. If I didnt like the appearance I wouldnt have bought the car. They have all the upgrades you need depending on what youre willing to spend and what you want on your car. The passenger space should be sufficient. Being as I am single, it is not too important to me now. But there is plenty of room for passengers of all sizes.
If you ever consider buying a used Audi make sure it has an extended warranty for as long as you plan on owning it!!! They break down often and when they do it will cost you a fortune to fix!! You will get sucked in thinking, Ok Ill fix this problem then I should be ok, then next month another issue and it happens every month, and it is major money every time!!! Last one I owned was an A6 with 70,000 miles, car book value is around $10,000 they want $6500 to repair a mechatronic, car will not shift out of park when its cold, no way to bypass it, and they dont even have the part!!! I now own a $10,000 piece of **!!!
The technology in the Audi A4 sedan is complicated and not user friendly. The manual is not helpful either. It is a great ride but it uses premium gas which is a pain. I bought it because it is highly rated in crash tests. I have only owned it 8 months so I dont know how its long term durability will be but it is rated highly in this area.
Audi ULTRA S-TRNC Gearbox FAILS weeks out of warranty on 38 month old A6. Bought an AUDI A6 Ultra S-TRNC July 2016. Have full service history with Audi. Approved garages spending over £35k, out of the blue Friday 2/09/19 heard a strange whining noise from the engine. Took it into Audi Stirling who advised Gearbox pump had failed and resulted in gearbox damage, it will cost £9117.60 to fix, neither the dealership I bought it from Audi Stirling or Audi UK all the way up to the Managing Director were interested and refused to help me. Just kept saying out of warranty. Their aftercare is appalling and when you investigate the Gearbox online the internet is littered with Ultra S-TRNC fails with no help from AUDI. Not even a warning light on the dashboard lights up no warning at all. Today I have written to WATCHDOG and to 2 national papers. Not what you expect from a leading car manufacturer!!!!
I really dont know where to start. I can fill pages and pages showing what bad company I trusted when I bought an Audi Q5. The car is extremely bad, no quality at all. Many problems with the gearbox, the breaks squeaking, steering wheel making bad jerking movements, and the list goes on. But what is really the worst is not the extremely bad quality of the car but the unbelievably bad service. I never took my car to the Audi dealer and they actually knew what was the problem. It stayed one time a full month at the dealer and they were not able to know what was the problem. Now I am facing a problem with the ignition, they told me we need to update the software and we need to get the software from Dubai and I have been waiting for that for a month now and still nothing. Very bad car, extremely bad service and dealing with the Audi people is like dealing with crooked con experts. My car is by the way only at 40000 Km and I hate it already so much. My advice to all: DO NOT EVEN THINK OF BUYING AN AUDI.
Audi offers luxury SUV thats fun with up to date technology. Off road 4 wheel drive thats sleek, roomy, efficient, and good on gas. Its eco friendly and well made. Its also family friendly. Its sporty and has great interior and comfortable seats. Its safe and great for road trips. Best company ever.
Audi having very good models and variety is big! Got mine about three years ago and Im ready to get another one soon! On this time Im planning to get different color and model! Features are really good! Absolutely love them! Having Bluetooth, GPRS, and other cool features what I really love! If you want to ride a round really cool car then get Audi. I havent upgrade my car yet but Im really planning to because I have been visiting their website and there is bunch of stuff what I really really like! The car is also very big and very nice! Fits everybody and everyone really nicely in it! I having a big family and Im very satisfied! So its highly recommend!
We recently purchased an Audi Q3. The car has been with us for 5 months and has a 5000+ plus on it. Suddenly, the front wheel developed bubbles. Now all wheels have alignment problem. They informed us that bubbles are due to potholes. As far as my recollection goes, there has not been any major potholes that we encountered. I am extremely unhappy with the way the car has deteriorated in standard over the past few months. I believe I am talking about premium luxury car whose features had been put to vast testing and certified of performance that has enabled them over the years to set such high price value. But if a tire alignment could change and develop bubble if the car goes through a pothole, I am seriously wondering the kind of test they have done to certify it. How could I trust this car when I travel in snow? I am extremely disappointed with the car. I had once liked Audi so much that we did not look at any other brands hoping it would be truth in engineering as promised. But now I regret my decision.
My daughters 5 year old Q5 with complete and proper maintenance and just 63,000 miles had the engine blow. The dealership in Minneapolis says dont bother to fix it. Does anyone know if these engines have had a long history of problems? Seems highly irregular that a well cared for car blows up at 63,000 miles.
I bought my dream car, a 2014 A7 TDI, at the beginning of the year. With 8500 Miles, it stalled in the middle of the road, and would not restart. My first concern was that maybe my husband put in unleaded gas instead of diesel. After calling the Audi Roadside Assistance (which I will never use again) and waiting for 2 hours for a tow truck, my car was finally taken to the dealership. They do not know what is wrong - it wasnt the gas. I am so frustrated. They need to keep my car for a week to diagnose, and longer if necessary. I do not want my car back. I have lost my passion for my car and brand Audi.
Did you know that Audi has a monopoly on their key fob programming? Me neither. And, this mistake cost me almost $2000 and left me without a car for over three weeks. I admit that I didnt have a back-up key. Initially, I hired a Locksmith recommended on Audi USAs website. He was able to get in the car, setting off the alarm system, but was unable to program the key fob. I then towed the car to the dealer using an Audi recommended roadside assistance towing company. They blamed the Locksmith, that is recommended on their website, for breaking the comfort module. The Audi dealer and Audi Customer Care acted like they were concerned, they werent. Instead, they pointed fingers at me for seeking out and using an independent Locksmith, that was recommended on their website. The lesson learned is never, ever buy an Audi - unless you enjoy throwing money away, wasting hours of your time, and being without a car for over three weeks over a minor mistake.
The Audi FSI engines are subject to heavy carbon build up so beware before buying one. My issue that I have beside the carbon build up is the timing chain. My 2007 4.2 Q7 jumps out of timing, causing the SUV to shake at idle speeds, misfire, and turns on the CEL light that makes you fail smog tests. At this time, Audi service center has had the SUV for about 4 -5 weeks and still cant fix the problem. The entire engine has to be dropped to service the 4 chains and chain tensioners, etc. The dealership avoided dropping the engine and we recently found out were trying troubleshooting by moving can adjuster to the another side of engine. They gave us a loaner to use but just want our SUV back and fixed to smog for DMV, then get rid off. The Audi dealership stated that they had to recently service 4 engines that had timing problems and think they will see more as the Q7s age with miles. I just want to know if anyone else has had the same problem with the timing on their Q7 3.0 or 4.2. If so, please contact me. Want to hear your problem and how it was resolved. My miles is about 74,000 miles. I think Audi will need recall or repair or class action suit is needed. 2014 is coming and the 2007-2009 will hit higher mileage and should all have problems with these thin timing chains.
I initially bought an Audi because of their quality and excellent engineering. However, I dont believe I will ever purchase another automobile from this manufacturer again. At 60000 miles my MMI system experienced a complete failure. The Navigation display would not come up, the radio wouldnt work, the navigation system completely failed. I took the car to the dealer here in Denver and was told the 5F MMI component would have to be replaced. Cost of the part $2200, $400 for labor. To say the least this is outrageous. Needless to say I am done with Audi, they are obviously not the reliable luxury cars I thought they were. Save your money! Dont patronize.
I just finished a conversation with the Audi chat line regarding my 2011 Audi that is only hard wired for an iPhone 4 with regard to the music system. She informed me that Audi has not updated the technology to accommodate an iPhone 5. I couldnt find anything on the internet that even mentions Audi working on this. Couldnt they pull an engineer to remedy this problem or offer some way to overcome this? I will probably be making a new purchase soon, and now my car is worth less than any other Audi year because of this lack of current technology.
I have a 2014 Audi A6 3.0 and was reading the comments on this website when I came across the comment from one person indicating that on his A6, he experienced transfer of clothing dye to the seats. I have exactly the same issue with my A6. I complained to the dealer and got nowhere except that the dealer stated that they could remove it if I wanted them to. I just told them to forget it and DID it myself. The problem with this issue is that I owned a Subaru Legacy prior to the Audi (Subaru is much cheaper car), with perforated leather seats and never had this problem with the Subaru. Other than this problem and a couple of programming issues that I simply disagree with, I am totally satisfied with the Audi (The rating above refers only to the seat issue).
I had terrible problems like delay, extra charges, poor service, etc., while buying Audi Q5 from Pashankar Auto, Audi Pune, India. And I was promised by Audi Pune that they will compensate this with an efficient service. After 6 months, my car had problems with the accelerator automatically increasing after 3 hours of continuous driving and engine temperature raising to 100 degrees Celsius. I made a complaint to Audi Pune to get it checked and to be provided a courtesy vehicle as promised by them during purchase. But even after 3 days, they are unable to provide a proper courtesy vehicle and take the vehicle for servicing. First of all, how does a car like Audi Q5 - 3.0 TDI had this problem after only 3000 km of driving and how can Audi Pune offer this kind of lousy service?
You pay $60,000.00 for an Audi and this is the message you get. So, the built in Navigation system is now virtually useless. For many months I’ve had issues with the Audi website. Trying to pay my car payment online is a hassle and becomes a giant waste of time each month. The online financial services portal on their website always has issues and makes it impossible to make your payment online without calling customer service. When you try to get a hold of anyone through the phone whether it’s Audi or Audi Financial there’s an extremely long hold time, and if you take advantage of the “call back” option they have you may be able to get a call back days or even weeks later in some of my personal experiences. As I’m writing this review this issue still has not been resolved. If you are looking to finance your vehicle through Audi Financial, or care about having a good customer service experience I would highly suggest you rethink choosing Audi. So far I have enjoyed my vehicle and haven’t had any issues as a first time Audi owner, but this customer service experience will definitely be a huge part of any future decision I may make about purchasing a vehicle through Audi. Customer service and online ease of use go hand in hand with a quality vehicle, especially when it’s a luxury brand.
I have been financed 3 Audi A3s and previously have upgraded and re-financed but when my renewal came up on my 3rd I decided to pay it off & keep the car - I had no confidence in the staff & was not comfortable using them again. This is a shame as in the past theyve always been great - I dont know what theyve changed but now they are atrocious! Sales staff either have no knowledge or are not allowed to work out figures. My appointment to discuss refinance/upgrade options was booked by Audi with a sales rep. but every time we needed a figure he had to go to the manager for 10-15 mins and then come back to us to repeat what the manager had said!! I asked for a monthly figure on a particular car if I didnt pay a deposit & when I said I couldnt afford the figure his response was Its only 20 a month more than you told me you could afford, cant you find that?!!What a disgraceful thing to say to a customer, if he thinks an individual can find it, then surely an international company can work a deal so THEY find it! A few days later I called & asked if they could re-quote if I were able to pay a small deposit (if I sold mine privately and used the sale money to pay deposit), and was given EXACTLY THE SAME MONTHLY PAYMENT FIGURE as when I wasnt paying a deposit!! When I questioned this the salesman blamed me as he said I took the print out of his original quote so he no longer knew what that was!! Overall he showed no interest in looking after an existing customer & getting them to continue doing business with Audi, he had no idea what information he had previously given and left me feeling that I couldnt trust him or Audi as a company. Ive always loved Audis but Im very sad to say that based on this experience I will not use them again.
I have a 2010 Avant 4 Audi wagon that has had persistent, unresolved issues from day one, up to the point that my car, at just 4 years old, is now mechanically failed unless a new engine is put in to the tune of $15,000. I have been meticulous with maintenance on this car. From day 1, oil consumption has been an issue - was told that it was within specs (a quart every 1,000 miles - really?) - until an oil/pressure test was performed, which my car failed. Piston/rings were replaced, which still did not ultimately resolve the issue. Lost complete power in the car while driving a highway speeds (no steering, no brakes, black dashboard - in rush hour traffic) - could have been seriously injured. Towed again to Audi, which many hundred dollars later was told the problem should be resolved, but cant guarantee the repairs. One month later, car shuts down again while driving, with alarms to turn engine off - low oil pressure. AGAIN, towed to Audi - told to replace camshaft bridge and replace oil pump (almost $2,000 MORE) - only to be told that the low oil pressure light continues to come on, and the only recommend now is to replace the engine to the tune of $12,000-$15,000. Which is ridiculous. The KBB street value is nowhere near what has been invested in repairs in this car. I was told We understand your frustration, but the only thing Audi (national) can/will offer is to double the customer loyalty discount IF I buy a NEW Audi from this dealer, and my car has little to no value without the engine. I am without a car, and cant get my car back unless I pay for the $2,000 that didnt resolve the problem. It seems reasonable to me that a car, built on performance and truth in engineering should last longer than 4 years, particularly when properly maintained as mine has been. Further, dependability in a car is an assumed concept that Audi touts in ALL their media. I would further expect BOTH Audi and the dealership to stand behind their cars, but all I get is We understand your frustration, and these issues are no fault of your own, though I have to pay for them. The service department admits that my car has a history of repairs way beyond the normal range for an Audi, but theres nothing they can, or will do. I clearly have a poorly engineered car, that cant be driven, and is virtually worthless. I CANNOT believe Audi (national as well as the dealer) wont stand behind a badly produced car, and rectify a bad situation.
I first purchased this vehicle in December 2016. After having the vehicle for a couple of days we noticed that the car jolts forward on the initial start daily. This is a rather aggressive jolt and is not unnoticeable. We contacted the dealership immediately and they stated that it was likely because it was cold outside. Of course come spring the issue remains and we take the vehicle in for service. The dealership claimed to have re-calibrated the transmission and sent the car home. There was no change and the issue remained. Long story short they eventually replaced the transmission and yet the problem remains. The dealership is stumped and claim that they have switched the parts with another Q5 and it also has the issue so the problem is now common to most Q5s so there is nothing wrong with the vehicle and I should come pick it up. Unsatisfied with this response I met with the sales guy who originally sold the vehicle. There is now depreciation on the vehicle and I would be at a loss of $12,000 if I opted to trade the car in. I contacted Audi Canada who investigated the complaint and are now siding with the dealership that this is common with Q5s. There is nothing to be done!! I could of course contact another dealership to see if they had other suggestions... huh?? This is of course after Audi Canada has spent almost $20,000 to repair the problem. One would think that they would have all known it was a common problem before spending all this time and money. Be forewarned anyone looking to purchase a Q5 - this is a common issue that cant be rectified so if you dont enjoy a sudden jolt each day you start your car you might want to stay clear of this purchase.
I bought an Audi Q7 from Audi Alto Pennant Hills and also bought extended warranty. The car has been sent back for repairs more than 3 times and still there is the same problem or new problem. The AUDI Mechanics are either poorly trained or totally not professionally qualified. Each time it is so hard to speak to someone from the service department. Every phone call, the receptionist will give an excuse that All the servicemen are on the driveway or not on their desks. I have called them 5-6 times each day just to leave my number and no one calls me back.I have to CALL and CALL! I even have to ask my friends to try calling to reach the Service Department and they too experience the same problem - leaving their phone numbers and no one call back at all. Funny thing is that I am a car owner of a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Fiat, Mercedes-Benz and unfortunately this AUDI Q7 which is definitely the WORST purchase I ever made in my life. I have never encounter any problems with my other cars at all. I will never buy another AUDI in my life again as the AUDI brand and reputation has been seriously tarnished. BAD and POOR customer service. Do not buy from AUDI ALTO PENNANT HILLS unless you want to be disappointed by faulty cars and poor service by their mechanics. Extremely disappointing!!!
One thing you can count on with any Audi: the worst customer service of any car brand, anywhere. Their number here in the USA is inevitably busy and offers a call-back, one which never happens. I would stay as far away possible from Audi, please dont waste your time & money with this company.
I was on my way home from work when my 2007 Audi Q7 died on me. Took it to the dealer (who of course was gonna ** me with parts and labor prices). Told me engines out of time and I need a new one. I am paying 600/month for a broken p.o.s. German engineering, super pricey car and my parents have an older Jeep running past my Audi... What a joke.
Bought this car brand new. I only had one issue during the 120K miles on it. Audi replaced the water pump at a oil change visit and then gave me extended coverage at no charge. (What Auto company does that?) The brakes do need to be replaced about every 25-30k miles. Routine maintenance is not terribly expensive. The car I replaced this car with is a Porsche Macan. I love the drive of the Macan but routine maintenance is very expensive. Spark plugs at 30K. Drain transmission at 40K. Plan on at least 1K per visit. The Audi was very dependable and a great car. My wife bought a 2018 S5 Sportback that is so much fun to drive. This is a great car company and look forward to visiting their manufacturing plant in Germany!!
Purchased a Q7 and is still under warranty and it has an exhaust leak and Audi claims its not covered under the factory warranty. This is a new car still under warranty and they wont cover it. Buyer Beware. Dont buy an Audi and expect warranty work to be covered.
My car is black, super shiny and is an all wheel drive. Its fast and has a great stereo system. Leather seats are awesome. My favorite part is that the seats are heated. I also love the look of the cars logo. My car draws the attention of people quite often. The wheels look nice and sharp. I can always personalize my car. Id love to add turbo to make my car go super fast. I love racing others in my Audi. I can paint it if I wanted or add a better sunroof. I can fit all my friends inside. We all go on long rides. It never looks like a clown car. Theres plenty of space in the back and the front of the car. It has electronic seats to move forward and back if more room is needed. I love Audis!
Bought a 2009 Audi S8 from Vin Devers Audi In Sylvania, OH. The service department had just completed the requires 55,000 mile service. I received the vehicle and had it scan 2 days after by my local mechanic. He found the car to have low voltage to the TB and other areas, as well as the vehicle running lean. The vehicle was accompany by a 30 day 1000 mile warranty for engine, trans and some other areas. Within 2 weeks I got a check engine light and the EPC light came on and the car will not drive above 40 MPH. Took the vehicle to my local dealer and they found wiring then was repair when the vehicle had only 10,000 miles and paid for by Audi Corp. Spoke to the Sales MGR and SVR MGR and was told there is nothing they could do. I opened a case with Audi corp and was told the same thing even though they paid for the original repair. I now have to pay to repair poor workmanship by Audi trained techs for faulty work. I will never buy another Audi and hoping everyone else will boycott their product.
I wanted a new car. Bought a used 2004 Q5 from a used car lot in Olympia. Three weeks after I driving off the lot the transmission goes out. $2109.00 later - the steering column, 6 weeks later - oil leak. Biggest regret of my life!!
Audi S8 2007 5.2 v8 - I have been having a problem with the coolant level for more than 12 months. Audi maintenance center tried to solve the problems 4 times and the problem keeps coming back. They do not know how to fix the problem. During this annoying and catastrophic experience through the last year, the car was parked for more than 6 months for solving this problem without any results. The body of the car has been scratched from 5 different areas 2 different times. Is this really how Audi deals in maintenance? I have complained to the GM of Audi in Jordan and he invited me for a cup of coffee at his office. I went there, met him, drank the coffee and the maintenance manager was there. They promised me that this problem will be solved, but the problem still exists without any improvement in this dramatic claim. What should I do?
Car engine stopped at 65 miles an hour on freeway. Lost all power & steering. Could have been killed. From what I hear other Audi owners have experienced same episode. Dont buy an Audi if you are concerned with your safety!!!
I am driving an Audi in Hong Kong. I had some paperwork problems with my car and had to contact Audi to get the needed document. The staff is genuinely uninterested and referred me to a automobile association alleging that only the association can get the document for me. So I called the association who explained patiently that the certificate should be issued by Audi the manufacturer, which makes sense. So I called the dealer in Hong Kong again and that staff gave me the same answer, utterly uninterested, and offered no solution to me at all. I dont expect that the dealer can solve my problem quickly and once and for all but at least they can appear to be more helpful. For Audi which aspires to be a top brand in the world, they should be more careful in engaging local dealers. Some are totally unprofessional and may just ruin their reputation. In my case, I will NEVER buy another Audi (because I am terribly pissed off).
Audi handled great. Good gas mileage. Fuel economy opt and looks good. I used a 2017 for about a month. Hated to give it up. Looks like a luxury sedan handles like a sports car. Very roomy.
The car looks good but it lags with the start up horsepower. Im use to speed like I had in at Acura TSX. This is just a disappointment. Im gonna hook it up with all the bells and whistles then Im listing it for sale. Ill take the loss.
On May 19th my five year old (under 69,000 miles) Audi A4 had a “piston failure” in which the piston came loose and eventually shattered the skirt. As a result, the engine needed to replaced. I was told by both the dealership and Audi USA that Audi never extends coverage and will not provide any warranty assistance (even in the case of potential negligence). The dealership initially refused to provide a loaner, however, after extending the expected completion of the repair four times, the dealership provided a loaner. They replaced the engine with a rebuilt-engine costing over $8,000 and completed the work on June 14th (26 days in the shop).Beginning July 1st, the rebuilt engine began leaking oil around the camshaft valve cover. The dealership inspected the car and agreed to contact the company from which they purchased the rebuilt engine. They needed to get approval from the supplier before doing any repairs. In the meantime, they told me to continue driving the car. After I called the dealership four times for an update, the dealership informed me that they needed pictures. I emailed pictures to the dealership immediately. I called the dealership four more times for an update and on July 28th, I was told that I could bring the car in August 3rd. The dealership added a high temperature sealant to the valve cover and I picked up the car on August 4th. 34 days to get the oil leak fixed on the rebuilt engine and a total of 77 days from the initial engine failure.
I am the owner of a 2009 Audi 1.8t of which clutch failed on 86000 km. After I complain about the clutch at Audi Paarl, they convince me that there was nothing wrong with the clutch. I drove from Worcester to George in the middle of the night and the clutch failed completely. The car is still under motor plan but Audi in George dont want pay the damage because, according to them, the car is not standard and the cars suspension is modified. Audi Paarl and Audi George differs from each other. The bill is R29000.00. Can someone help with advice?
I have audi Q5 and I really love my car but the agent here in Egypt, they are terrible. For the usual car Service they are less than fine. Last summer I had a damage on my car and they took it to repair. After three weeks they call or I call and they told me that they dont have this Spare part. It took about two more months or more to repair it. Two days ago my back door window was broken while someone was stolen the car. Second day I call and ask about the glass they told me within two hours will answer you. That was yesterday morning till now nobody call and I am with my glass broken trying to find it anywhere else to buy it. Really they are terrible agent.
Audi 2007 a4 2.0 Engine Defects - I bought an Audi convertible and a SUV together. I use the old used SUV and love it, but my Audi I treated like a baby. Tons of maintenance and care. It had a recall and camshaft replacement. Then oil consumption/oil pressure problems. Then second camshaft replacement. Feel like I was lied to about my engine problems. Now I need new engine. Was told by a mechanic all the defects and recalls caused metal in engine and ruined my engine. He said its Audis fault.
I really liked this car until something bad happened. One of the nice features of the Q7, or most any other high end SUV is the ground radar which helps you park and warns you of objects in the road. This is especially important in a large SUV where you have limited visibility. But this feature did not work on my new 2017 Audi Q7. While parking, I ran over an object that sliced open the oil pan. It looked like someone had taken a knife to a cheap aluminum beer can. I thought how could an SUV have such a cheaply made oil pan? I know one doesnt take a Q7 off-roading every day, but youd think you could do it every once in a while, no?Then more bad news when the Audi shop told me that I had to also replace the oil pump. I was stunned by this as the oil pump is up high and wasnt touched at all in this incident. I have asked and still do not have an adequate response from anyone at Audi. Does one have to replace the oil pump anytime the pan is removed?Next problem was that as I had no idea the oil pan was sliced open, I drove less than a mile back home without any oil in the engine. At first there was the typical light on the dashboard indicating that I should replace the oil. I thought that was strange with a new car but I was almost home so I continued. Then just when I was turning the last corner a larger warning came on to say that I should shut the car off as it was out of oil. Which I did seconds later. But now I am concerned that the motor is damaged and the warranty violated.Anyhow, now I have to pay a couple thousand bucks to get my new Q7 back on the road, not to mention my concern over the health of the engine in the future. I think I should junk the car, but I paid an awful lot of money for it. This whole thing is partially my fault for running over the object, but I really think that Audi oversold the intelligence and robustness of their new Q7.
Ive had my 2013 Audi allroad for 8 years, it currently has 112000 miles. Its always been serviced and repaired by Audi. 25k miles ago I started to need to top up oil between services. Audi then stated that this was normal. I didnt really believe that and started to do some research on my own and found that the early TFSI engines 2008-2012 have an inherent design fault which leads to high consumption of oil. **Gradually the problem got worse and during a service when I yet again made them aware of the issue and my research findings, they said the turbo was burning oil and needed to be replaced before they could do anything. This was done and $4k later my car was still burning oil. Problem got worse and worse. At 1 qrt every 600 miles Audi said that the abnormal use was due to a leaking top cover gasket and they could not do anything until this issue was corrected. I made them aware that the engine bay would have been full of oil if the top cover gasket was to blame but went ahead to fix the gasket at the same time as the timing chain was replaced. The problem still remained. I have now spent yet another $1k to perform a oil consumption test which concluded that the car is now using 1 qrt each 200 miles! Which is everything else but normal. Audi finally says that the piston rings need to be replaced and because the car is now out of warranty I have to pay for everything out of pocket!!!The fact that Audi from day one blamed everything else and asked me to spend premium $ to fix whatever they said was the issue instead of taking responsibility for their faulty engines is ridiculous and everything else but premium. Its so savage and ruthless to bleed your customers of money knowingly that there is an issue with the engines. This is not what I expect of a premium car company. Whoever is considering of ever buying or owning a new or used Audi please think twice!
So I own a 2013 Audi A4 with 83000 miles on. This car is very bad and unreliable. The car burns lot of oil. Last time when I went to the dealer and told them about the issue the guy was like, That not our problem. This issue is a thing that Audi must take care of. I believe as we consumers should pay a dollar because many people have this problem and Audi should recall their A4s.
Audi of North America gets an F for customer service. I had the worst experience ever dealing with their representative over a new Q5 I purchased. Two phone calls (ended nowhere), I escalated the issue to a supervisor who not surprising was same useless when it comes to settling disputes between the customer and the dealer. The car came with a license plate cover on the front grill, but my state does not mandate/issue a front license plate and the grill. There are two big holes that cannot be covered by a license plate. Audi refused to replace the bracket with one that does not have the license cover despite their promise at the dealership that they would switch it. I am done with the brand!
This review is about Audi Canada and dealers In Toronto. I purchased a 2010 demo S5 in 2019 and I have not had a consecutive 6 months or more without this lemon of a vehicle breaking down. From new transmission to all sorts of electronic fixes, the radio, buzzing sounds, catalytic converter, windows, clutch, coolant reservoir, etc. etc., the most incredibly annoying is that I am on my 7th (yes, SEVENTH) thermostat replacement - the first 5 by Audi and under warranty and the last 2 on my dime! When attempting to have them recall this part and or compensate me for 6 (and ongoing) failures of the same part, they basically told me theyre not responsible. Comically, one set of thermostat had to be replaced only days after Audi Midtown installed a new one. This was my first and last Audi! Never Again!
I leased an Audi Q5 and had an issue with my lease payment and attempted to contact Audi using live chat and was told they could not help with any accounting issues to call the phone number to customer service. When I called I was put in the holding system for about 20 minutes. Got an associate and while he was helping resolve the issue he cut me off. Called back and was put back in the hold system for another 20 mins. Got an associate who took care of one piece of the problem and told me she needed to transfer me to a different department which she did. And guess what, yes put back in the hold system for another 20 minutes. One of the most frustrating customer service experiences EVER!
Purchased 2009 Audi from Jack Daniels Audi in Upper Saddle Rive NJ about 2 years ago. Disrespect and deception seem to be the norm at this dealer, and I was soon to find out with Audi USA also. The car broke down within the first weeks of ownership. I was on my way to IL from NJ when it just died in PA. I called the dealer and they were no help saying call Audi USA. I informed the dealer I need a rental car to get home for work. Long story short, it took NJ consumer affairs action to get reimbursed. The car was eventually picked up, at my expense, and driven to IL. The car burned oil at a rate of 1 qt per 750 miles. Sometimes more. I informed the Audi dealer, they stated all Audis burn oil. It was unimaginable, this is how the car was designed. I was finally told by the dealer that a oil fix was available, and after 3 attempts, they said it was done. On attempt 4 I was told drive 100 miles and bring it back, didnt make 100 miles, and broke down on the side of the road. I was told the timing chain was no good and needed replacement, then I dont hear from the dealer for weeks. Dealer called 2 weeks later, saying rings, pistons and values need replacement, FOR EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION! 2 more weeks and I get a call from Audi USA that they WILL NOT ship the car to me in California. The car is in IL, ruined my familys vacation, and now its stuck there. Audi has even now backed out of their offer to make a deal on a new Audi even though I will NEVER buy another Audi. The car is junk, bad dealers, and horrible customer service.
Audi q3 is very good. But, some technology features missing. It drove well and the turn radius and acceleration was excellent on the vehicle. The Audi is built to last mileage-wise with less issues than the other car brands. I like its performance of drive and quality of build/Longevity. The outside look of the vehicle and how it drove over railroad tracks and potholes was significantly different than the other cars I test drove. However, there is no back-up camera, no navigation, media went in and out. For the price you pay for the car, you would think these items come standard as they do in less prestigious brands such as Honda, Ford, and Chevy.
Always been an AUDI fanatic. I was finally able to buy my own and now look at the rust. Feeling frustrated now that AUDI does not honor its warranty (I am still under the corrosion warranty). The engine block, subframe and underbody should be coated to resist corrosion, but it is not what looks like - probably a defect in the material, but still Audi does not honor the warranty. My beliefs on my favorite car manufacturer are corroded as long as the structural & vital parts of my car.
Audi A4- an 8 year, 97,000 mile, disposable car. I purchased a CPO 2010 Audi A4 in 2013 with low mileage from Tom Williams Audi in Birmingham Alabama. Since purchase, I have always had it serviced at Jack Ingram Audi in Montgomery, Alabama. Since owning it I have had two major engine issues and the last one has caused it to be a throw away car. Immediately upon purchase, with about 22,000 miles the car was burning a lot of oil and after continual visits to Audi for over a year, they informed me of the excessive oil consumption recall and it did not pass the excessive oil consumption test. Under warranty, the car underwent the #2 engine rebuild around 2014-2015 at about 35,000 miles. After that repair, everything seemed fine until October 2018, when the car began shaking and the engine light went on. I brought it to Audi and they said it was a fouled spark plug. However, 30 days later, with 97,000 miles, the car began shaking again but this time the engine light came on and was flashing and the car would not drive. I had it flat-bedded to Audi, where I was told there is an extended timing chain/tensioner warranty, so not to worry. Audi paid to replace the timing chain/tensioner but I was told I needed a valve job for 4100.00, because of damage to the engine when the timing chain failed. I was told because of a pending class action lawsuit that Audi would pay on a sliding scale which would be 25% for my year and mileage. That would leave $3400.00 cost to me for a car with a $4000.00 trade in value. Although being shocked about all this, I approved the work because I was not in a position to buy a new car, especially with $0 trade in money. However, I get another call today, telling me that there is more bad news, that at least two of the pistons had bent and there is something possibly cracked and I need a long block (ie new engine) for $11,000 of which Audi will pay 25% to repair due to the class action timing chain litigation. It makes no financial sense to spend $8250.00 (75% of the 11,000) for a car with a 4000 value. However, if I dont repair it, Audi owes me 0 for the total loss of my car that was working fine until the timing chain failed. So at 8 years and 97,000 miles, this Audi A4, luxury car is a throw away car. Audi should have had to cover the engine damage caused by the faulty chain. This is the lions share of the repair cost. I feel Audi should owe me the full trade in value of the car because it broke as a result of the timing chain which they admit was faulty. Audi customer service was curt and told me to file with the class action suit when I asked if they would consider paying anything additional (this was several days before the fairness hearing was held on December 12). I would never advise anyone buy an Audi after this experience.
Brand new 2024 Audi A6 TDI - I have 6000 km and there are a few things that I dont like about the car but will not mention them as I should have been more detail-oriented when I tested the car. You should never rush into buying an car unless it meets ALL your safety requirements. What I am complaining about has to do with the brakes. They grab when you have almost stopped. They seem to stick when they are wet. They make a sound as though the pads and caliper are stuck. If you slowly pull out with your foot still on the brake, they make a God-awful sound. And that is when they are dry. When wet, you talk rep your life into your hands with these brakes. They really stick and the sounds are horrible. If I am wearing a soft sporty shoe, I still cannot bring the car to a smooth stop. Forget about it with firmer dress shoes. Its a horrible experience. Guess what? They just gave me a loaner, after I complained about the brakes. It had 400 KM on the odometer and the brakes did the very same thing? They told me that it had to do with some brake technology. I say nonsense. This appears to be an endemic problem. Its unpleasant and dangerous.
Theres Lots of different options for me to go through and I was especially fond of the A8. Its Very easy to drive and safe. Audi is a great brand to drive. This vehicle has very luxurious features like a navigation and heated seats. I enjoy sitting in the car every time I drive. I love this car. There arent much upgrade options because the base model has a lot of features.
Audi has plenty of models and always are available to choose and purchase. The sellers are always nice with you and show you the best deal. Cars always have an appearance of a luxury car in both sides, outside and inside. It also provide the best comfort while driving, make it pretty excited to drive my car and drive with friends and it also provide the best technology for a trip. I have taken my car to install some features in the back of my car, including the exhaust pipe, I have also changed the steel wheels to make it look more pretty and luxury. The passenger capacity on my car is also acceptable. It always have been comfortable for my passengers or family when we have a trip. Its the best deal.
Audi has many different options. The standard vehicle is well equipped and seems like it is the upgraded vehicle. I like that there is a backup camera and touchscreen. I like that the sedans are still sporty and have a sleek look to them, but still functional. Also, the vehicle is very roomy and I can easily fit my two car seats in the back without overcrowding the kids. There is plenty of room in the trunk and room to stretch. Their vehicles are very user friendly.
My 2010 A4 consumed oil from the moment I bought it used at 63,000 miles. It used 1 qt every 1000 miles and according to Audi thats normal. Using their math and Mobil 1 I would never have to change oil as I would have added 10 qts before it was time to change the original 5 qts in the pan. Audi said they fixed the car before I bought it but will not release the service records from the servicing dealer in Florida or from Audi of America. How can you comply with Class Action Settlement if you cant have access to the records. What are they hiding? Never mind, the car broke an engine valve at 101,000 miles, just after my extended warranty expired. Been round and round with Audi Customer No-Care, the Audi Customer Experience they call it. More like a nightmare. After providing all my mileage logs and records, service records and all the receipts from the auto stores from adding oil they say it is with Customer Retention and Resolution. I have filed complaints with several state attorneys general, the EPA and safercar.gov. Next will be letters to the Wall Street Journal, Car & Driver, Road & Track and Consumer Reports. We have to stand up to their arrogance and disregard for US Laws and our rights as owners and consumers. I cant afford a $7,000 repair and still make payments on a car I cant drive.
I have a 2008 audi 07 4.2. 50k it start burning 1.5 qt of oil every thousand miles and it also leaking water from the top. Very disappointed from Audi.
Car started burning oil at 95,000 miles. Dealer says they have never heard of the problem (but this is obviously not true because there are online complaints on this very issue). We usually keep our cars 150,00 miles and have done all the required maintenance and repairs (by the local dealer). Selling the car - wont buy another Audi. Very disappointed in Audi. They should do a recall and fix these problems.
Shocking, embarrassing, enraged are words that come to my mind while I own a 15-day old Audi Q5 from Mumbai (**). Previous to Audi, I owned an E class much to satisfaction of services, good customer relationship shared, robust after sales service and a fantastic road side problem solving assist. Everything seems missing after I shifted my brand loyalty with great deliberation from the sales executive and my misjudgement, of course. My expectation in every department of the service is a complete failure and way below expectation. The very purpose to pen down the displeasure is the extent of discontent I have towards the working of Audi. The experience I share herewith are a testimony to my so-called growing hatred to the brand. My conclusion is worth reading which may affect your reputation, since spending lakhs if I am not satisfied, I cannot even keep you happy and smiling for sure.My experience until I received the delivery was a rude and shocking administrative negligence. My booking, my loan approval process, my excess registration amount paid due to untimely management of affairs, had already raised doubts on my decision of ownership of Audi. The only saving grace in the entire process was the CRM and delivery procedure conducted, was overtly warmth filled, which of course did not happen at Mercedes. There was a delay in loan processing, which seemed that neither profile, previous bank history, vehicle owned previously, nor a flawless CIBIL record could help getting my loan clearance. No browny points for all the above characteristics, understandably so, since your VW finance is a new company and would look into smallest details - but killed my time in the process. After the bank approval and knowing that the car registration cost is due to hike (which is an information I provided), no steps were taken to expedite the process and save customers cost, resulting in me shelling off couple of lakhs for no fault of mine. No remorse or courtesy extended towards the same but citing government policy, the sales executives shirked their administrative laxity. Such critical, immediate and subtle PR issues are what customers (usually time constrained) of this segment look out as factors whilst buying a premium vehicle.A temporary registration sticker attached was the way the car was delivered, unaccompanied by an Audi personnel as it is a temporary number, making it extremely unprofessional, unethical and uncalled for procedure. On my way back, I was a victim of an embarrassing traffic constable tantrums. Giving my license was the only way out as I dont believe in bribery. In spite of repeatedly calling your executives, nothing was done to retrieve my license and I was left by myself to fight it out at the wrong doing of the company. It was another display of poor and pathetic after sales. Also, it showcased the dismal relationship shared between the traffic authorities and the dealer. All it took me was a letter such as this and a few personal trips explaining the reason of my innocence in the mistake committed. Afterwards, I was given back my license without any fine levied. A situation as embarrassing as this, for me, was an experience which I cannot forgo. But sadly, you, as a company, could not do anything--very sad! It leaves me with an after thought, Was I responsible for the mayhem? If not, what is the companys role in pacifying me?My E class was traded in and the administrative process was delayed so much so, that one of my EMI of E class reached my account and I had no option but to clear the same. As a result, now after 15 days of delivery of my car, when the trade in person calls up and gives me another shocker to tell me a draft of 40k is ready for my disbursement when the EMI I paid was around 45k. It was another unaccounted and unexplained loss to myself again.Tell me after reading until this stage, was anything worth a fine memory, worth a brand change, worth value for money? No--only agony, torture, and mental trauma. If thats not all, the forthcoming incidence is an absolute hell of a climax for the biggest mistake of my life to own an Audi.Considering Q5 to be an SUV, an off-roader with 4 wheel drive and Quattro (Audis signature technology), I ventured on my journey to my Pune residence via expressway on the 15th night and returned back on the17th morning with a return trip to Pune - scheduled to be on the night of 17th itself for an extended weekend work. My journey overall to Pune was not so pleasurable, one because of some screechy noise on speeding above 100 which seems to come only when windows are slightly open - but that was not the case in my scenario when I checked.Secondly, some seat rattling at higher speed is such a put off riding an SUV. I reached the night of 17th and to my dismay, the next morning, I saw that the tire was deflated. Without driving, I called in the puncture repair guy to get the cause examined. A crack was observed in the tire on the inner surface of the rear wheel which, according to the puncture guy, was a sign of health and safety hazard so he advised a tire replacement. This might have occurred due to some sharp object piercing the tire and can be termed as a minor accident case.My point is, when a tire as heavy as this can wear off, what is the safety proposition of this vehicle? Questions such as this have no answer. What followed after this was a series of phone calls to road assist, service station, Audi Mumbai, Audi Pune, etc., all adding to my panic. But no one seems to give solution but shirking their responsibility by giving each other numbers. This means that I, in state of panic, have to keep making calls with no robust solution found for me to go for work in Pune or return to Mumbai. Then, I, too, should have made not less than 12 calls all combined but what was noteworthy was that there was no call back from anyone responsible when an Audi customer is in need. It was absolutely disgusting! To add to my dismay, I get a phone call from a dealer in Pune saying, I can order a tire for you. You need to pay in advance for the same and that the tire will come in a week time. It just looked that he wanted business but when asked for customer assistance, he had no clue and just hung up the phone. How could he suggest replacement without even looking at the tire? How can he ask me to pay for it at the first place since it is only a 15-day car with not even 400km run? I had so many questions to ask someone responsible. How can a 15-day old tire wear off? Where is problem assist? Where is the tire manufacturing warranty? Where is the problem solving? Why is the customer not put to ease first?Rather having one person taking onus on the call and advise appropriately, I was made to talk to so many people without even getting a solution, which I term as an amateurish administration. An immature, unprofessional treatment mended to a premium car owner leaves me doubtful for a long-term ownership. I thank Almighty that nothing untoward occurred, which I know for a fact if it was Mercedes, I would first be put to ease, followed by the option suggested to solve the problem temporarily so that my work does not stall and then contact me for an absolute solution with agreement of both parties involved. This is what I call service and not what I received - wasting my entire day on phone calls, waiting that someone will get back with some solution for me.Also, the step tire was rather a rude shock to me, seeing the size, the nature of the tire and the black ugly design it gives - all shows the audience the punishment meted out for replacing the original tires. Wouldnt it be Audis insult to have such cars rolling in the market? With BMW, I remember that I was not allowed to open the car bonnet during a test-drive as per their policy since it may give an impression to customers that it is a faulty car. I respected it and I believe firmly that the image of the car should be a priority when you deal with this segment of a car.I was finally recommended by Audi Pune service station that there is no solution than to sport the ugly step tire and travel expressway not going beyond 60 km/h. I did follow this and was scared every minute of my 4.5-hour journey filled with fright, anger and shame (which otherwise takes me 3 hours). What an added trauma and time wastage! Now, with all what has transpired, do you still think I should be an Audi loyalist? If yes, I need concrete reasoning, or else, I am trading in this vehicle for some other vehicle. But the next steps for not having an appropriate reply or a solution would be to take this up with the companys top brass, followed by complaining to the international center for making them aware of how pathetically their Indian counterparts are handling affairs, approach the consumer court for a full refund for dissatisfaction of the product and the agony it has caused me mentally, post this on the Facebook, and start my verbal propaganda of the horrible 15-day ordeal with Audi. I am forever thanking my stars that these incidents did not happen after the warranty expires as the people in Audi would not even have responded to my queries at all.I presumed that I am making a wise decision by changing brand, but having looked at the support system that your after sales can offer, I am seriously on the look out for the Audi brand change. Your company has made a good mark in the Indian car industry but that must be due to the policies and work of the top management level, which was perhaps also one of the driving force for me to purchase an Audi. But, if your employees do not become face of Audi by proper training in management and PR, it would not need much time to succumb to its competitors. I expected care, concern, warmth and since nothing came my way, I am now a completely dissatisfied Audi customer, which I am sure you, too, can relate to.I am looking forward to the manner my complaint is going to be addressed. It will be the factor to reinforce my belief in Audi and in doing so understandably shall cause you discomfort since it may involve overhauling of few processes. My letter will benefit those hundreds of customers who have lost their way on how and what to complain and be a perfect document to not be deterred or rather help them from being troubled. Kindly find a solution at the earliest to avoid further media and legal formalities. I wish you the best with all of what you are doing - maybe its a bad experience for me personally.
In 2009, I purchased a used 2008 Audi A4 S-line at Valenti Audi. I just paid off the car in March 2014. Last October, we were advised to replace the timing chain. When the timing chain goes, they said, the car will stop running. We were at 100,000 miles, so we put the $2500 timing chain in. Over the years, all service and repairs and maintenance were done at Valenti. We were very careful. The car seemed to use a lot of oil, and it ate tires, but we were told this was normal for AWD.I was very much looking forward to 5 more years of driving. A few days ago, the check engine light came on. Then there was a rattle. Then it sputtered. I took it to Valenti. They told me the camshaft was cracked and what I heard were pieces of it rattling around. The turbo had also gone. Oh - and my front drivers side tire was falling apart. That would cost, at a minimum, $4960, but it might be $9000 to put in a brand new engine. Then they revealed that on some Audi A4s there had been an extended warranty provided because of this camshaft problem - but not for my VIN number. And, they said, I have more miles on it now than the extended warranty would have covered anyway.Well, if I had known the car was going to blow up, knowing there was this warranty might have spurred me to find another car. My $7,000-8,000 trade-in has now become worth $0. Audi said they would take it as a trade-in if I bought a new Audi. $1500. And then they showed us a bunch of cars and offered us the sticker price on all of them, no discounts. They had us over the proverbial barrel. They clearly knew the manufacture of the camshaft was defective. We were not notified and were given no time to rectify this. We had the car consistently repaired at this place; they did not warn us of impending trouble. And then when it fell apart, we were told we could have $1500 for our car. Well, they said, “After all, it doesnt run. Its really not worth anything”.
I bought a 2009 A4 2.0T Quattro and it was a problem from day 1. The car was consuming so much oil! At its worst it was doing 1ltr every 120km. When I took it to the Audi service shop, they blatantly lied to me after doing a service and check, and said nothing was wrong and perhaps I should buy a new sensor. I kept going back and kept getting the same spiel. Anyways the car engine has died and they are quoting me 10k to rebuild the motor. I told Audi Australia that I have done my research and am aware of the recalls, and class action lawsuit against them for the flawed motor but they are still refusing to do anything about it. Im left with a useless car, back on the bus and frustrated! Does anyone else have any ideas or helpful suggestions where to go from here??
I read Jamess experience because Im looking for experiences related to Audi on the internet. Me And my husband had a very serious accident with our Audi Q5. It was a miracle no one died or was injured. Please do not use the cruise control! If you want me to better explain, I will ask someone to help me to write the experience in english language. Im searching for problems Audi related to Cruise control, sudden acceleration and not working airbags. Thanks.
I bought my 1996 Audi A4 in 2009. At the start of 2010, I took my car to (Audi Artarmon, NSW) because I was experiencing erratic revving quite seriously. Audi Artarmon cleaned my fuel system and assured me that the problem was now fixed. However, as soon as I drove my vehicle from the servicing center, the problem still existed so that was ($1,500) down the drain. It took some complaining but I eventually got a full refund. I then moved to the Gold Coast where I decided to take it to (Audi Gold Coast Center). They advised me of a few reasons for the problem and told me that they could fix the problem. After picking my car up and driving it down the Gold Coast highway for 5 minutes, my car completely broke down and whilst I was on the phone to the servicing manager, he was shouting at me trying to say that it was not their problem and that these things just happen. So I sorted out a tow truck myself and paid for a taxi to get myself home. The car got towed back to Audi. The next day, they advised me that I needed a new throttle body at a cost of $1,000, but was advised that the cost would be taken care of due to what had happened. I went to pick my car up after the work had been done and the servicing manager started to demand that I pay for the work done to my car or else I would not be allowed to drive it away.I then had to rush to the bank before it closed and made a withdrawal in order to pay the prick of a manager. After all of this, it was no wonder that nothing had even remotely changed with the performance of my car! I had to move to Mackay (1000kms north) so I drove my car up, however, my fuel gauge stopped operating and the car was being very erratic with its revs. I did make it to Mackay though by guessing my fuel consumption. After more complaints, I eventually got a refund from Gold Coast Audi, as if they were trying to pay me to keep quiet. The last straw came when I moved to Newcastle (NSW). I drove my car down from Mackay, which was a long trip but my vehicle seemed to take it very well. My car did not start the next day so I decided to take it to Newcastle Audi Center where they told me I needed a new fuel pump, which would cost $900. I decided to get an independent mechanic to replace my fuel pump for half the price. However, somehow that mechanic did something to my cars immobilizer and I was forced to have it towed back to (Newcastle Audi), which was quite embarrassing. I was advised by Newcastle Audi that I needed a new engine control unit which would cost $3,000. I agreed to have this done as I needed my car. After a few months of trying to come up with the money, I finally had enough to pay for my vehicle. Upon picking my car up, I noticed that the whole dashboard insert was not working at all (speedometer, tacho, fuel gauge) and I asked them why. However, the servicing manager refused to take any responsibility and angrily denied any wrongdoing. The service I received from Newcastle Audi was absolutely appalling. For anyone who has any intention on buying an Audi of any sort, get ready for ignorant fat cats who think that they are above you and can talk down to you. I am so fed up with Audi, all they care about is money. Even the Audi Australia head office doesnt seem to care at all.My car has been undriveable for almost a year now, yet those ** are probably living it up with their fat checks. I am giving my 1996 Audi to a wrecker now. I paid $7,000 for it 3 years ago but I simply have no more energy, money or time to put up with the thieves that Audi are.
We had an Audi years ago and wanted to have another one. The Q7 fit our needs. However, it has been a terrible experience. The brakes will not stop squeaking and the dealer says they have relayed the problem to Audi but nothing gets done. 80% of the people who own this car are complaining according to the dealer. The squeaking is so loud that you are embarrassed to drive the car when anyone can hear. It is awful. Please do NOT buy this car. Audi, please listen to your customers. I will stop people on the street and tell everyone not to buy this car.
My 2012 Audi a7 has been in 5 times since February to repair the air conditioning which has been blowing hot air. Audi has still not been able to fix the problem and refuses to replace the system. Their excuse is they need to find exactly which part is failing. They have fixed a leak - twice and repaired the pressure switch - twice... Nothing has corrected the problem and they still refuse to replace the system. The car is still under the original manufacturer guarantee. Audi just blows hot air!
I purchased the Audi Allroad 2001 in 2006 w/ 56,000 for 21,000. At 1st people took advantage for any type of repairs. Now I have someone honest. Car runs great w/ 160,000 mi. Self leveling suspension works great, no more bag problems and engine is strong. This is a luxury car in & out.
The navigation system will not find towns, airports nor streets. Once the car has been to a location, it can then navigate back (some sort of memory). I live on Long Island, New York, the Audi navigation could not find Laguardia Airport. Popular department stores are non-existent in navigation. Towns such as Woodbury and Baldwin also dont exist. Ive been back to dealership 3 times (they give a nonsense tutorial). They also state that most people use their phones instead.
We purchased an Audi Q7 with 92,000 km on it from Sydney. We looked at it on the 21st March 2012 and bought it for the price advertised on the 22nd March 2012 with no questions asked. We were offered 3 year new car warranty for $3,500, which we paid up with also no questions asked. On the 21st, we were asked to pick up the car at 10 am on the 22nd. We came at 10am and the car was not ready. We waited for 2 hours. There was a problem with the Audi but they didn’t tell us exactly what, they just said it’s not a big deal. The day before, we explained to them that the car must be ready at 10am as we were driving to Melbourne. We were then approached by a group manager who said that we can’t have the 3 year warranty, it was a mistake and that we can have a 2 year warranty for $2,600. We did not want to accept this. Finally, they agreed to give us as promised 3 year new car warranty for $3,500 but the lady that does that was away so they promised the next day I would get the paperwork for the warranty from Anna Marie. Of course, I never did. I called 3 times and finally got the paperwork but it was for the 2 years, which is not what was promised. Therefore, there was a lot of emailing back and forth. After 2 weeks of having the car, the seat broke and the buckle broke cup holders jammed. We did a diagnostic scan of the Audi computer which showed engine faults and other faults. Vince ** from Audi Alto NSW confirmed there is nothing wrong with the car. Since the car was under the 3 month warranty Audi Brighton (Melbourne) had to get approval from Audi NSW, which has taken 3 days and I still don’t have my car. A week ago when I went into Audi Brighton, someone looked at the car and noted all the problems and made me an appointment for a week’s time. At this point, that dealer knew that the car was from NSW and that it was under the 3 month warranty but they didn’t bother to contact anyone in the meantime. So on when I took my car in, they said it will take approx 5 hours and will call me when done but they realized that they need Audi NSW approval. 3 days has gone past and my car is sitting in Audi Brighton and they still haven’t touched it. Both the dealers are lying and making up excuses. I am fed up with this. I just want my car fixed as it hasn’t even been a full month. I don’t think that it was appropriate that Audi NSW sold me a faulty car or at least didn’t tell me about it. I have not yet experienced something as horrible as this. What can I do? What are my rights? This is just shocking.
There are 2 words for them... They are horrible!! I have excellent credit, paid all bills either early or on time... Never late. When it was time to return the car that only had 14,000 miles after 36 months, the charges were insane. I have leased over 12 cars (BMWs, Mercedes, Jaguars) and never had such a hard time. I am done completely with Audi. They can take their cars and do whatever they would like.
Audi demands respect, commands the road, close second to none. I personally drove a 2004 special edition TT and I can honestly say by far, this little speed demon is the most fun, exciting, smooth, reactive and never disappoints. Custom leather seats crafted to meet the high standards Audi always adheres to and often exceeds are a favorite for me. This vehicle is eye-catching with very unique and sexy lines. The interior is just as impressive, modern, sophisticated, clean and perfectly positioned to maintain maximum control of this power packed superior machine. It feels as though you’re in the cockpit of your very own rocket ship at a creamy soft leather seat. Youll turn more than a few heads as you glide effortlessly with speed, precision and power, hugging the road like you really mean it. This car fits you like a glove, and for that, youll want to give it all of your love.
I took in the car as the windows smash and grab gets scratched out every time I open the windows (all of them). Then they lied to me and said its the type of rubber Audi uses which scratches all their windows so they cant help me or change it. 2015/04/14 - My car is new and its not even a month old and it is flashing oil change. Response was a sorry and they took it in to be fixed. 2015/11/26 - My car went in for a service and they smashed it and had to wait until January driving a smashed car. Brand new car now turned into a smashed one and I must just accept a sorry???Response was: It is regrettable that your car got damaged whilst in for service. We do sincerely apologize for the mishap despite us taking extreme caution with our customers cars. Please understand that we do not plan these things but they do happen at all dealerships. We are transparent and accept responsibility for the incident. I have arranged for your car to come in around the 2nd week of January 2016 once everything returns to normal. And then they ask me not to rate them with Audi SA - May I please ask that you do not participate in the survey with IPSOS should they decide to call you. May I ask that you rather participate in the survey once we have repaired the damage on your car? This rating is very important to us and I think the whole experience has been tainted by this unfortunate event. Now I went over a month ago as here is a list of problems. Loud sound when I hit the brakes and go over humps, the car cuts power when I drive it, the car doesnt lock, the dashboard and speedometer switches off while Im driving, when you put the car on reverse it does the opposite and when you put it on drive it reverses before it moves forward (at my sons school when I put it on drive it reversed into another car). The soft top needs to be tightened as well, no rain sensor as well, its as if electrically it is messed up.Over a month ago they asked me to bring it in and one of their technicians drove around Sandton to listen and also said he knows what the problem is so I need to book it in and it will take days to fix it. I asked if I will get a loan car and they said ok. When we went back to their office where they said the booking agents were in a meeting and I must just leave my number, they did phone me and booked it in for the 8th of June. When the car started not locking I phoned them again as I was very worried then Ismail asked me to bring it in this Monday, I asked for my loan car and was told I will never get one as the previous guys did not even book a loan car for me and if I want to wait then they can only fix and give me a loan car in July.Clearly Audi doesnt care about the owners safety. I decided I have to take it as I fear for my life, I dropped it off at Audi on Monday morning and even today I havent got feedback as to what is wrong with the car??? I really thought the technician that drove with me said he knew where the problem is. I really want Audi to give me my money and take their car back. I seriously dont think its fair that its their technical fault and I must suffer!!! Now I phoned at 7h25 today to speak to Ismael or the dealer principal (was told Ismael is around but they cant get hold of him and the dealer principal will be in around 1 pm). I still dont know what is wrong with my car or HOW IM GETTING HOME TODAY as I had to take Uber to come to work and drop off my son.
I continue to search for an affordable solution for my once beautiful Audi A4 under 100k miles as of today. The topcoat split open and the entire car looks like a jigsaw puzzle. Audi offers no help; no solution. The fix for me would be circa $1K. What could that possible mean to a rich organization like Audi. For me, however, because Im now retired, its not an option. If youre buying a pretty auto for the long haul, skip Audi... it peels.
I bought my Audi A6 a few months ago, and I was happy with it until a few weeks ago in which it started having problem with dash switches and eventually all switches lost their functionality. I could no longer use satellite navigation nor mobile. Because the car is under warranty, I took that to Audi Stafford. I was told that corrosion has developed under the switches! Since it is an outside influence, the warranty does not apply! Such a strange reason to decline the warranty. This is a major problem, and I hope it is a one off. Otherwise, I call that a major design fault. If this is the case, then all Audi having this switching feature needs to be recalled; and I certainly like to know if this is the case. I could not convince the service manager, and that is why I am contacting you.I like to have an explanation and reason why a car of this age (less than 3 years old) must develop corrosion. Bear in mind that corrosion is a gradual process. And now even worse, the Audi is not even accepting to fix the car under warranty. I was very disappointed when I heard that the switches carry no IP rating. That means they are susceptible to humidity, let alone water ingress. If this happens to a Ford Escort, I will still be surprised. We are talking about a top class car, and I do expect minimum requirement. Some time ago, my son dropped my Nokia into the sink. The mobile stopped working for a few days, and then it came back to life.I am dealing with issues like that, and we design electronics and mechanical devices. All PCBs used have an extra water proof cover to prevent it from any ingress and even splash of water. Does Audi protect its internal electronics with anything? I do not like to use any harsh language at all, as this may be a one off case; however, this car must be repaired under warranty.I had another issue like that a few years ago with my other car, Toyota Avensis; and it was not even under warranty (after 6 years) when both of its front lights failed. Toyota finally accepted to repair my car when I wrote to Watch dog and Trading Standard. I appreciate your immediate attention on this matter.
I have a good experience with Audi. I had 2 Audi and they never broke. The only problem is the oil consumption, I think they should start figure out this problem because is not fair that you purchase a vehicle in 40k or 50k and have this kind issues.
My new Audi required a tow to Ft Worth from Abilene (2 Hours) because of engine failure. The service department could not figure it out and ordered a new engine form Germany. 4 weeks later it finally comes in and I am left with no car for 4 weeks and Audi Ft. Worth really does not care. Then they need me to drive up to Ft Worth to pick up the car. I do get them to deliver it. One week later the transmission is slipping and ** service manager assures me it is in my head and the car is meant to slip. They would work me in in 2-3 weeks if I insisted on coming in. I drive 6 hours to Houston Audi who got me right in and found that the bolts were not tight on the new engine and was causing the slippage. Ft Worth Audit won’t answer their phone and take appointments only weeks in advance. ** is useless.
In winter 2016 I have bought brand new 2017 Audi A4 Premium Plus for 47k. It was this new version with cool digital gauges and new technology. It was rather exciting. I was thinking at the time that this small luxury sedan was worth the money. Then in December 2020, I got the message that my car doesnt support any more Google maps and from December 31 will stop working. Really after 3 years my car is obsolete and exciting feature that I have chose this car for is no longer available. I have contacted dealerships right away to see if I can upgrade my car, but answer was no, and I should probably get a new or newer Audi in order to have that ability. So 4 years after I cough up 47k for this Audi and planning to keep it in the family for longer, this car lost one of features that was their top selling point. I had a numbers of Audi cars so far in my life A4, A6, Q5 and Q7. I can tell you one thing. I will never ever again buy a Audi. It is like throwing away you money for something that will be obsolete in 3-4 years. Really sad from company that I had a the time on top for my vehicle needs.
After owning Mercedes for 30 years, I bought an Audi in 2012. Big mistake. As much as I enjoyed my TDI, it was not possible buy another; Audi keeps changing their design for the worse; and my experience with the sales staff at two dealerships was enough to make me realize they do not care about customer loyalty. All they want to do is move existing inventory as fast as possible.
I recently paid off my 2011 A4, financed entirely through Audi Financial Services. I needed the title to purchase a new A4 Prestige. I called Audi Finance to get the title. I was told that they had sent it to my home address after the last payment had been made. When I said I had never received it, the customer service rep said they would look into sending a lien release letter so I could go to the DMV and pay for a duplicate title... so I could buy another Audi. I then asked for them to send me a duplicate title. After a long wait she said they could do that for $25 and it would take 4-6 weeks. Which is amazing since they never sent the title, I never missed a payment, and I was eager to go to the local Audi dealer to finance the purchase of a 2017 A4 Prestige. Thats not going to happen. I loved my A4 but Im not going to pay Audi Finance for the privilege of being treated like garbage. The BMW 330ix looks pretty nice...
2013 Audi Q7 center console delaminating. Buyer beware! The silver console surrounding the shifter is bubbling at various locations. Car always garaged yet Audi contests it was caused by outside influences which it was not and refuses to cover it under the manufacturers warranty. After going through this, I wouldnt recommend Audi to anyone if they wont standby their product and uphold their warranty. As for me, this will be my last Audi. Never again.
In January of 2015 I purchased a CPO 2010 A5. Within 6 months I began having serious mechanical difficulties with the car. Although to date all issues have been rectified by the service department, the sales department has been unwilling to make an acceptable deal with me to put me into another vehicle when clearly my vehicle is a lemon. The general manager has never even responded to my attempts to contact him. Since I purchased the car, it has been associated with a recall and a class action suit. It has been in for service no fewer than 6 times, and yet the dealership nor Audi Corporate is willing to work with me. This will certainly be my last dealing with Audi of Huntington, and mostly likely, the last Audi I will own.
Do not buy cars from Audi Las Vegas. They are liar and receiving customers they make my husband sign on paper that he didnt understand what it means because it doesnt speak English. They told him one thing and then lie and there and the manager is the biggest liar of them all. And when you go to Audi customer service support they cannot help you. They tell you to go back to the agency that Full of liars.
Similar to other reviews, I have experienced the inability of my Audi Q5 to hold its stereo presets. Audi has said that it is an issue with Sirius XM, but I am not seeing the same issue with other makes and models. While radio presets is a small problem compared to say, engine problems, it is that Audi has been nonchalant about a feature not working at all since the time of purchase. It, along with several other service issues in which I had to be the one to get a matter taken care of, shows the lack of accountability on Audi’s part, and will be the reason that I will never purchase another Audi and will actively prevent friends and family from making the same mistake.
I have Audi Q7, 2010 model s line. After I parked for a week and not using it I found that the front air suspension is lowered. After I started it go to the normal level but the rear suspension it always having the same position. So my question: is it normal the front air suspension to get lowered after stopping the car for a few days? Please, I need quick help. Thanks.
I drive private for 10 years a Audi a4, now I will build a stretch Limousine from the Audi a4. Course it is one of the best cars I ever had... So I hope I can find a Limousine builder who can a a4 into a 8+1 persons Limousine for the European market.
In March 2014, I had a problem with my Audi A3 2009 plate. I took it to my local garage and they managed to get it repaired at a cost of about 2 Thousand Pounds. The problem concerned the gear box short circuiting. Three months later, Audi sent me a letter requesting to change the gear box oil to mineral oil as there is a common fault found within Audis because the original oil could cause a short circuit and burn the unit; which is what happened to my car. I requested compensation but Audi refused because I had not taken it to an Audi garage, as I didnt know that I had to. Moreover, I believe that Audi was supposed to be a very reliable car. Unfortunately, I was wrong and will never buy an Audi again.
