2026 Audi A6 e-tron

The 2026 Audi A6 e-tron represents Audi’s electrified vision of a modern executive luxury sedan. Rather than simply electrifying an existing gasoline model, Audi has developed this vehicle with a focus on electric performance, refined comfort, and advanced technology. It is positioned to serve buyers who want a premium electric driving experience without sacrificing sophistication, interior space, or everyday usability.

The A6 e-tron blends quiet electric propulsion with a premium cabin and confident dynamics, making it suitable for daily commutes, long highway trips, and executive transport.

Design & Exterior Presence

The exterior design of the A6 e-tron reflects Audi’s contemporary electric identity while maintaining the elegant proportions expected of a flagship sedan:

Sleek silhouette: A low, aerodynamic profile enhances range and visual elegance.

Closed or refined grille design: Signals electric identity while preserving a sophisticated front end.

Clean body lines: Reflect a modern yet understated luxury aesthetic.

LED lighting elements: Provide a futuristic but tasteful look that complements the bodywork.

The overall styling balances modern electric cues with traditional luxury sedan proportions, projecting confidence without being overly aggressive.

Electric Powertrain & Performance

The 2026 A6 e-tron is designed around a fully electric drivetrain that prioritizes balance, range, and smooth power delivery:

Electric motors: Provide strong, instantaneous torque typical of electric propulsion, making acceleration responsive and effortless.

Battery system: Positioned low in the chassis to enhance stability and weight distribution while maximizing passenger cabin space.

Transmission: Seamless single-speed transmission enhances smooth acceleration and efficiency.

All-wheel drive options: Available configurations may offer dual electric motors for improved traction, handling, and performance.

The electric architecture delivers a refined and near-silent driving experience, with instant throttle responsiveness.

Driving Dynamics & Efficiency

The A6 e-tron’s handling and ride quality are tuned for luxury and confidence:

Adaptive suspension: Offers a balance between comfort and dynamic control depending on driving mode.

Steering: Precise and communicative, maintaining driver engagement despite the silent EV character.

Regenerative braking: Adjustable to offer smooth or more assertive deceleration that recovers energy.

Range focus: An optimized battery and aerodynamic design work together to prioritize real-world range without sacrificing performance.

Electric power suits both relaxed cruising and responsive acceleration, making the A6 e-tron versatile across driving scenarios.

Interior Comfort & Design

The cabin of the 2026 A6 e-tron is crafted for serenity and premium comfort:

Spacious seating: Comfortable front and rear passenger space supports long journeys.

High-quality materials: Soft upholstery, refined trim, and thoughtful design elements reinforce luxury.

Quiet environment: Electric propulsion and insulation create a calm interior atmosphere.

The interior blends modern layouts with tactile quality, making it suitable for both driver and passenger comfort.

Technology & Connectivity

Digital instrument display: Provides customizable information — from speed and navigation to battery and energy use.

Central infotainment interface: Integrates navigation, media, and vehicle settings in a responsive interface.

Smartphone compatibility: Seamless wireless integration enhances connectivity for calls, apps, and directions.

Performance displays: Electric-specific feedback on energy usage, range, and charging status.

Technology in the A6 e-tron is designed to support daily life and long journeys without distracting from the driving experience.

Safety & Driver Assistance

The 2026 A6 e-tron includes a comprehensive suite of safety features and assistive technologies:

Adaptive cruise control: Provides easier long-distance driving with automatic speed and distance adjustments.

Lane assistance: Helps keep the vehicle centered and stable at speed.

Automatic emergency braking: Offers proactive safety support in unexpected situations.

Blind-spot monitoring: Enhances awareness during lane changes or highway travel.

Safety features contribute to comfort and confidence, particularly on highways and in urban driving.

Strengths of the 2026 Audi A6 e-tron

Instant electric torque: Smooth, responsive acceleration without the lag of internal combustion engines.

Refined ride: A focus on quiet operation, composure, and passenger comfort.

Premium interior: Spacious and tastefully appointed cabin suitable for luxury travel.

Advanced technology integration: Digital interfaces and connectivity suited for modern lifestyles.

Flexible driving modes: From efficient relaxed driving to more dynamic engagement.

Trade-offs & Considerations

Charging dependency: Long trips require access to DC fast charging infrastructure for convenience.

Battery weight: Though positioned for balance, the battery adds mass compared to traditional sedans.

Range variance: Real-world range depends on speed, weather, load, and accessory use.

Cost: A premium EV typically carries a higher upfront price compared with non-electrified alternatives.

Who the 2026 A6 e-tron Is Best For

The A6 e-tron is ideal for drivers who:

Want a premium electric sedan with luxury presence and refinement.

Appreciate smooth, silent electric performance for daily commuting and long drives.

Value advanced technology and modern connectivity features.

Seek a premium vehicle with reduced emissions and a future-ready powertrain.

Prefer a blend of comfort, efficiency, and responsive handling.

Bottom Line

The 2026 Audi A6 e-tron positions itself as a refined electric answer to the modern luxury sedan. With responsive electric propulsion, a composed ride, premium interior comfort, and advanced technology, it appeals to buyers who want luxury without compromise in an all-electric package. The A6 e-tron blends everyday practicality with future-oriented performance, making it a compelling choice for those transitioning to electric mobility while retaining premium identity.

I had an engine oil change in Feb 2015 (long lasting oil for 10.000 KM). Now after exactly 6-month my service indicator shows service due, although I still have 4000 KM to reach the 10000 km. I called the service centre. They said I should visit. Does the service centre control service intervals on cars computer? A3 Sportback 8P, 2013, 18.8 KM.

From day one of my purchase I had issues with my A8. Now 4 years later have had heating fail 2xs, suspension fail, windshield leak, electric fail numerous time, bolts come loose in both doors, breaks squeak and be told that is normal. My Audi has had maintenance to it (outside of normal service) every 2 months. Called Audi American to explain my issues. They were able to pull the 16 work orders so they saw my issues were valid. After weeks of dealing with them, I was told that I should go back to where I purchased to see if there are any incentives that could be used to get me into a new car. That is Audi loyalty. Buy a car that is a straight lemon and they will allow you to buy a new car with incentives at the dealership. I will never buy another and highly recommend people to avoid.

I own an Audi A4 Quattro that with less than 60.000 miles started with a metallic sound from the front wheels, it turned out that the bearings had to be replaced... I had a extended warranty which Audi refused to honor. It is very disturbing that a company that is so proud of their 4-wheel drive would have such premature problems with their wheel bearings. To add insult to injury, the dealer had not updated the history of the car with the repairs done, the brand said there must have been internet problems. To me, it seems like a deliberate effort to hide problems that may affect other owner, which is the reason I am posting this complaint to ConsumerAffairs.

The variety of its models and colors are elegant, contemporary, visually beautiful and versatile. It also has many advances in technology, ergonomic and safer. It stays at the forefront and allows me to update my equipment and accessories whenever I can with different options to meet my needs. Also, the passenger capacity is excellent. There is no discomfort and space is enough for both passengers and luggage. Everyone has their space to move and be comfortable.

I purchased a new A-4 and complained about the performance to the dealer several times. I was always told everything was OK. When the car had 40,000 miles and was over the time part of the express warranty (but not the mileage part) a light went on and I was told a valve in the turbo charger (that was redone and improved by Audi) needed replacement. This fixed the problem, but Audi only paid for the part not the over $300 of labor to replace the part. Given the history, they should have paid for the entire repair. They do not act like an upscale brand seeking to create a positive Audi Experience.

My new Audi required a tow to Ft Worth from Abilene (2 Hours) because of engine failure. The service department could not figure it out and ordered a new engine form Germany. 4 weeks later it finally comes in and I am left with no car for 4 weeks and Audi Ft. Worth really does not care. Then they need me to drive up to Ft Worth to pick up the car. I do get them to deliver it. One week later the transmission is slipping and ** service manager assures me it is in my head and the car is meant to slip. They would work me in in 2-3 weeks if I insisted on coming in. I drive 6 hours to Houston Audi who got me right in and found that the bolts were not tight on the new engine and was causing the slippage. Ft Worth Audit won’t answer their phone and take appointments only weeks in advance. ** is useless.

I bought an Audi Q7 from Audi Alto Pennant Hills and also bought extended warranty. The car has been sent back for repairs more than 3 times and still there is the same problem or new problem. The AUDI Mechanics are either poorly trained or totally not professionally qualified. Each time it is so hard to speak to someone from the service department. Every phone call, the receptionist will give an excuse that All the servicemen are on the driveway or not on their desks. I have called them 5-6 times each day just to leave my number and no one calls me back.I have to CALL and CALL! I even have to ask my friends to try calling to reach the Service Department and they too experience the same problem - leaving their phone numbers and no one call back at all. Funny thing is that I am a car owner of a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Fiat, Mercedes-Benz and unfortunately this AUDI Q7 which is definitely the WORST purchase I ever made in my life. I have never encounter any problems with my other cars at all. I will never buy another AUDI in my life again as the AUDI brand and reputation has been seriously tarnished. BAD and POOR customer service. Do not buy from AUDI ALTO PENNANT HILLS unless you want to be disappointed by faulty cars and poor service by their mechanics. Extremely disappointing!!!

I have an Audi TT Quattro. I have had problems with the instrument cluster for a while. Finally, the center window went out or shall I say, the words are broken and you cannot read them. It was off and on for a while then it went out. I had my Audi in for service. I asked the dealer and I was told there was a recall on that problem. As I search, there are many people having the same problem. My problem is that the recall is over. I didnt get a recall notice. Is there anything I can do to get the instrument cluster repaired? So far, this is the second Audi I owned and the A6 seems to be fine. Please help me.

Hello car friends, well I am here to share my experience with Audi cars. I warn you this is not going to be a good review. My first experience with a Audi was a A-6 year of 2008. The electronic problems were non stop from windows to internal lights to the motor engine lights going bad in my car seat to my power window motor failing to my radio not shutting off which yes eventually drained my battery and left me stranded. This all happen with my car just being 3 yrs old. I can’t stress enough how unreliable Audi cars can be. There is more, my timing chain, starter also went bad all within 80,000 miles. I decided to sell the car and upgrade to a Q-5. What a huge mistake this decision was as well. My repairs on my Q-5 2013 have been even more of a headache. I noticed there are other reviews on here with other cars burning oil. Well I’m also a victim as well of the car burning oil with just 70,000 miles on the car. Thankfully it was under warranty but what a nightmare of experience. The dealership had my car for 3 weeks. The dealership is in upper saddle river NJ. This happen in the summer of 2017. Fast forward to just 2 weeks ago 03-19-2018 the car just skip timing I’ve been told the car is beyond repair and requires a new engine with just 110,000 miles that’s right a new engine. Thankfully I purchased the extended warranty. I can’t wait to get my car back. It’s going for sale immediately! Audi needs to stop worrying about the look of the car and focus on the soul of the car. I’ll never buy a Audi again!!!

They stated that they dont know why it kept acting up, but they would not give me a replacement for equal value. I contacted their corporate office, and they werent able to do much either. I purchased an Audi A4 2.0 in March 2000 (**). The car had engine oil leakage and engine oil has to be topped up every 5,000 km initially and then the situation worsened to having to top up more and more regularly until now, top up engine oil every few hundred km! It was reported that my car was not the only one having this problem. Finally in November 2011, Audi Company, Euromobil Sdn Bhd (located in Kawasan Perindustrian Temasya, Shah Alam, Selangor DE, Malaysia) contacted me and informed me that my new car would be given an overhaul service and an Audi staff would contact me on when to send in my car. When I did not hear from them after a couple of months, I called and was informed that the person-in-charge had resigned and therefore did not respond to my calls. This indicates a lack of management coordination, no customer follow-up and the inconvenience of topping up the engine oil continued.Audi Salesman, Mr. Danny, managed to arrange with customer service executive, Mr. ** to have my car sent in on 20th February 2012 to Audi for the overhaul service. I was informed that it would require two weeks to have the car overhauled. I had made arrangements to rent a car for use while my Audi was in the service center. When I arrived, unfortunately, I was informed that the overhaul could not be carried out as there were too many cars being serviced and therefore could not attend to my car but I was informed it could be done the following week. Since I was there, I sent in my car anyway to have a minor body repair work and repainting and I was told that the overhaul would be carried out after that. When I went to collect two weeks later, I was informed that the overhaul was not done! Customer Service Manager, Mr. ** apologized and rescheduled the overhaul service for 26, March 2012. This time I requested Mr. ** to please arrange to provide me a car for my use when I next send my car for the scheduled overhaul. Mr. ** assured that he would try his best.On March 16, I contacted Mr. ** to check if he had managed to arrange a car for my use when my car was being overhauled and he confirmed he had made the arrangement. Therefore, it was confirmed that I could send in my car on 26, March 2012 and I expected to drive away in the car arranged by Mr. **. When I arrived, Mr. ** informed that the arranged car was not available. I was really upset as I have a business meeting at 10 am! Therefore, I had no choice but to drive away in my own car to attend the business meeting. Again, through no fault of mine, my car was not given the overhaul as arranged and assured by Audi!People buy Audi because it is reliable, stylish and comfortable. It is a pride to own an Audi and lots of pleasure to drive it. Customers have been assured of the dependable and good service, including after sales service. From what I have written, you can imagine how very upset, disappointed and frustrated I am with your distributor and their service. It has caused me lots of inconvenience, precious time and expenses in hiring a replacement car for use. I am officially lodging a complaint with your company.

All they asked was, is my car fixed. Did not address my request, a no would have been fine but instead - just ignored me. Joke Steve ** is not big on customer satisfaction. I was happy that there were several models to choose from with different features. It is a luxury brand and that is what I felt when in the car and I enjoyed it. It seemed to fit me well. The model that I had was compact so the passenger capacity was not that good. But it seated 4 people comfortably. There were larger models available but I enjoyed the way the smaller model handled. It looks good and had a classic style and color. I like new features but I dont like flashy features that add no value to the car. The car I had was not new but I liked that the newer models had a lot of features as options. It was nice to know that if I wanted to upgrade to more features later, they would be available.

Bluetooth in A5 Cabriolet 2013 unusable - I have 3,800 miles on this 2013 car and am ready to sell it. I make a lot of calls while driving. People cant hear me over the noise and tell me Im screaming at them. This is with the top up. I have been to Audi twice and been told that nothing can be done. A car over 50k deserves service and functioning equipment. When I bought the car, I was clear to the salesman that voice control was important to me. It is disabled in the Cabriolet. Originally I had purchased my vehicle at Biener Audi. I purchased an S3 2017 Model. Brand New this vehicle came with approx. 70 miles on it. I found out that they transported it from Audi of Smithtown. I, then proceeded to take it to this location. One of my issues was the hood & the windshield. The hood is cracked (from a pebble most likely states a professional who I had examine it; they touched it up & didnt allow it to dry long enough so it came off.) Audi of Smithtown has no reglect of this happening. Another issue is inside of my vehicle, the main console buttons are sticky-like. After going back and forth with Audi of Smithtown, they agreed to take it off and look if its warranty or not. They will take it off as a courtesy. They state sticky substance is inside. They wont do anything for me. They ordered the part for me but are claiming I have to come out of MY pocket for $970 because they dont deem this as a warranty issue. Are you kidding me? This vehicle came in such horrible condition! My first Audi. To be exact my issues consisted of: Scratched up interior panels. Damaged hood/windshield from transportation. Abnormal creased seats from getting in and out from test drives. My fiancé & I clearly knew that this vehicle had been sitting on a lot for a LONG time. It was so dirty after they finished detailing it. Back bumper deep scratches. Console buttons sticking, rough. Scratched up alternator (cosmetic). Front bumper full of dings (black spots). Dings on headlights/scratched up.Im VERY unhappy and UNSATISFIED with BOTH Audi of Smithtown and Biener Audi. This was the WORST experience Ive ever had. Ive opened up a case with Audi of America (corporate) and theyve stated case has been escalated as high as possible. They wont do anything for me its up to the dealership to make it right. Please save yourself a headache. Dishonest dealerships terrible customer satisfaction. Bieners part: Some people involved were: Patrick ** (sales person). Service Manager (Stephen **). Audi has good variety of models but could have more because it is considered to be a luxury brand. I would also like to see different kinds of SUVs, midsize and large cars. My wife loves this 2012 A4. We bought it new in 2012. Its great looking (black on black), drives well and has plenty of room plus its a manual transmission model, a requirement for her. Issues include a weird bug in the emissions control system which causes the engine check light to come on intermittently when she fills it up with gas and a finicky air flow meter which needs cleaning frequently. Its been in the shop four times for the intermittent check engine light with a lot of expense and no result. We just live with it. Another annoyance are the constant Emails and Snail mails we received advising us to trade the car in on a new one from Audi. The trade in offers were well below Kelly blue book trade in value and wouldnt stop coming although I continuously asked the senders to cease sending them. Also, Audi no longer provides a manual transmission so the offer is pretty much moot to begin with. Last, the service costs are way to high even in the warranty period and the only people that can turn off the maintenance reminder is the dealership. In conclusion, its great looking and driving car with a dubious fuel delivery system and really poor support from the dealership and Audi of North America.

Audi a5 from 2008 - 2 days before holiday on 26.04.14 the window cable mechanism breakdown, cost 225 for the part only+ labor cost 3h. On the 4th of May 2014 on our way to Venice, it was raining, a skylight take place, our central console dead (navigation, radio, media, no oil check, completely dead). Went to audi dealer in Venice, paid 80 euros to check the BUS Interface. The part need to be replace, 330 euro for the part + 120 euro labor cost, as is a UK car they need to order the part from UK. After 3 days in Venice we decide to buy a GPS for 150 euros and continue our holiday (Italian audi dealer check and top up our oil Castrol edge 5-30W ONLY SINCE the car was new 1500 km). Later on the 10th of May 2014 we arrive in a nice city call Brasov in Romania and the engine stop with no engine sign on. We call a service. They come to investigate our case and surprise they check the (ENGINE 135000 miles) timing chain and the top (plastic) tensioner. It was broken into pieces damage @ few 3000 TBC. We left the car in Romania and return to Jersey Channel islands UK by plane. The conclusion is the audi company diminish our entire holiday + 4500 into parts and labor cost. We plan to pay a visit to our insurer as we have full comprehensive insurance on the car + travel insurance, hoping they will do something for us as the car is not in the warranty anymore..... So the conclusion is what can get any WORSE than buy and drive an AUDI on a peaceful holiday .... WHERE IS THE GERMAN QUALITY????? It never been probably.

My name is Dimitri **. I leased a brand new 2010 Audi A5 from Prestige Audi of North Miami beach. With my lease, I was told to bring my car to them every time its time for service. The car said its time for a service so I made an appointment to drop it off. They called me and told me it was ready, so I went to pick it up. I took it home. When I get in to my car, I always approach the driver side. Well one day, I backed the car in and the next morning, I approached from the passenger side and I noticed there was damage to my passenger front wheel.Well, it was dented in multiple places and bowed out at the top of the wheel well plus paint damage. So I said to myself, I didnt do it, maybe I got hit but let me take it to Audi to see what theyll say. So I went there to speak with Fernando **. I told him the situation and he said let me see it and Ill tell you if we did it here. His exact quote was, Ive been working on this lot for 9 years and I know what kind of damage this lot can do and that damage was done here. He told me that where they keep the cars after they service them, is enclosed by a fence and they covered that fence with a white cloth so people cant see in and steal or vandalize the cars. And as one of the porters was parking my car, he didnt notice that a pole was also covered by the white cloth and he pulled it up as far as he could and while doing that, he hit my car damaging the front end. So they damaged the car on their lot. I have that in writing that the car was damaged on their lot while being serviced. So he was very nice in the beginning and said to bring it and they will fix it. I dropped it off on August 8 to be repaired and they said it would take four days. Two weeks later, after no phone call, I called them and it just so happened to be ready. I was like, great, Im coming to get it. I got there and I looked to see if they repaired the car correctly. As I was looking it over, I noticed that the headlight on the damaged side was sticking out more than the other side and there was still a few marks on the bumper. So I told them and they said they would fix it. Another week went by. They call and told me that if I dont bring back the loaned car they gave to me while my car was being fixed, they will charge me. So I brought the car back like they asked. When I got there, I inspected it again and I noticed that the hood of my car was extending over grill of the car. I can stick my fingers under the hood when the hood should be closed. I told them to bring another A5 to compare and u can tell there was a difference. I have pictures and videos of all the damage. If needed. I am paying more than 600 dollars a month for my lease and I take care of the car like its my baby. I leave it with them and they damaged the car. The car will never be the same once its gone to the body shop. It will never be the same and has lost value of my car. If someone checks the car, they can tell there were repairs done. I called them and asked them whats going to happen now. They said that they will do nothing to resolve this matter. Thats why Im writing you to see what I can do as Im only one person dealing with a huge company who doesnt care about the customers. Why should I keep paying the same payment when my car is not new anymore? I would understand if I did the damage, but I didnt. They damaged my car and dont care because theyre not paying for it. The manager called me today and told me to bring the car back and get my car and stop nitpicking. Is it nitpicking or do I just want what I deserve my car (in perfect condition, just like I had it when it rolled of the assembly line)? I dont know who can help me with this situation but I would love for you to help me or point me in the right direction because they dont listen to anything I say. They are trying to take advantage of me because Im young and I am a nice person. But enough is enough (plus I paid for this month and I wasnt even able to drive my car at all, so I paid for nothing).

I have a Audi R8 car. I love the car but the service that Audi give is crap. I had a problem with the clutch so went to Audi. They told me it needed a new clutch at the cost of £3000 pounds so I told them to get on with it. The next day they phoned up to tell me it needed a new oil cooler and pipes that the mechanic broke when removing the gearbox at a cost of £2000 pounds. After one week they phoned again to tell me that they had broken the clutch master cylinder pedal and pipe and it would cost £1200. I think that Audi should come over to UK from Germany and train these people how to work on their cars. People are going to get fed up of being ripped off by the UK Audi dealers. A pissed off Audi owner.

Bought a new 2012 A6 18 months ago. About 3 weeks ago started getting a strong mold smell coming from the AC. Took it to the dealer who said they had repaired it, but the smell persists. Scheduled to go back tomorrow for more work-- they mentioned installing charcoal filter and ensuring that the water drains are clear. Worried that we are inhaling large amounts of mold by following their instructions to keep running the AC. Anyone have similar problems? Cant stand the smell much longer.

I have a 2010 Avant 4 Audi wagon that has had persistent, unresolved issues
I have a 2010 Avant 4 Audi wagon that has had persistent, unresolved issues from day one, up to the point that my car, at just 4 years old, is now mechanically failed unless a new engine is put in to the tune of $15,000. I have been meticulous with maintenance on this car. From day 1, oil consumption has been an issue - was told that it was within specs (a quart every 1,000 miles - really?) - until an oil/pressure test was performed, which my car failed. Piston/rings were replaced, which still did not ultimately resolve the issue. Lost complete power in the car while driving a highway speeds (no steering, no brakes, black dashboard - in rush hour traffic) - could have been seriously injured. Towed again to Audi, which many hundred dollars later was told the problem should be resolved, but cant guarantee the repairs. One month later, car shuts down again while driving, with alarms to turn engine off - low oil pressure. AGAIN, towed to Audi - told to replace camshaft bridge and replace oil pump (almost $2,000 MORE) - only to be told that the low oil pressure light continues to come on, and the only recommend now is to replace the engine to the tune of $12,000-$15,000. Which is ridiculous. The KBB street value is nowhere near what has been invested in repairs in this car. I was told We understand your frustration, but the only thing Audi (national) can/will offer is to double the customer loyalty discount IF I buy a NEW Audi from this dealer, and my car has little to no value without the engine. I am without a car, and cant get my car back unless I pay for the $2,000 that didnt resolve the problem. It seems reasonable to me that a car, built on performance and truth in engineering should last longer than 4 years, particularly when properly maintained as mine has been. Further, dependability in a car is an assumed concept that Audi touts in ALL their media. I would further expect BOTH Audi and the dealership to stand behind their cars, but all I get is We understand your frustration, and these issues are no fault of your own, though I have to pay for them. The service department admits that my car has a history of repairs way beyond the normal range for an Audi, but theres nothing they can, or will do. I clearly have a poorly engineered car, that cant be driven, and is virtually worthless. I CANNOT believe Audi (national as well as the dealer) wont stand behind a badly produced car, and rectify a bad situation.

Last summer I had a damage on my car and they took it to repair. After three weeks they call or I call and they told me that they dont have this Spare part. It took about two more months or more to repair it. Two days ago my back door window was broken while someone was stolen the car. Second day I call and ask about the glass they told me within two hours will answer you. That was yesterday morning till now nobody call and I am with my glass broken trying to find it anywhere else to buy it. Really they are terrible agent.

I initially bought an Audi because of their quality and excellent engineering. However, I dont believe I will ever purchase another automobile from this manufacturer again. At 60000 miles my MMI system experienced a complete failure. The Navigation display would not come up, the radio wouldnt work, the navigation system completely failed. I took the car to the dealer here in Denver and was told the 5F MMI component would have to be replaced. Cost of the part $2200, $400 for labor. To say the least this is outrageous. Needless to say I am done with Audi, they are obviously not the reliable luxury cars I thought they were. Save your money! Dont patronize.

Audi A4- an 8 year, 97,000 mile, disposable car. I purchased a CPO 2010 Audi A4 in 2013 with low mileage from Tom Williams Audi in Birmingham Alabama. Since purchase, I have always had it serviced at Jack Ingram Audi in Montgomery, Alabama. Since owning it I have had two major engine issues and the last one has caused it to be a throw away car. Immediately upon purchase, with about 22,000 miles the car was burning a lot of oil and after continual visits to Audi for over a year, they informed me of the excessive oil consumption recall and it did not pass the excessive oil consumption test. Under warranty, the car underwent the #2 engine rebuild around 2014-2015 at about 35,000 miles. After that repair, everything seemed fine until October 2018, when the car began shaking and the engine light went on. I brought it to Audi and they said it was a fouled spark plug. However, 30 days later, with 97,000 miles, the car began shaking again but this time the engine light came on and was flashing and the car would not drive. I had it flat-bedded to Audi, where I was told there is an extended timing chain/tensioner warranty, so not to worry. Audi paid to replace the timing chain/tensioner but I was told I needed a valve job for 4100.00, because of damage to the engine when the timing chain failed. I was told because of a pending class action lawsuit that Audi would pay on a sliding scale which would be 25% for my year and mileage. That would leave $3400.00 cost to me for a car with a $4000.00 trade in value. Although being shocked about all this, I approved the work because I was not in a position to buy a new car, especially with $0 trade in money. However, I get another call today, telling me that there is more bad news, that at least two of the pistons had bent and there is something possibly cracked and I need a long block (ie new engine) for $11,000 of which Audi will pay 25% to repair due to the class action timing chain litigation. It makes no financial sense to spend $8250.00 (75% of the 11,000) for a car with a 4000 value. However, if I dont repair it, Audi owes me 0 for the total loss of my car that was working fine until the timing chain failed. So at 8 years and 97,000 miles, this Audi A4, luxury car is a throw away car. Audi should have had to cover the engine damage caused by the faulty chain. This is the lions share of the repair cost. I feel Audi should owe me the full trade in value of the car because it broke as a result of the timing chain which they admit was faulty. Audi customer service was curt and told me to file with the class action suit when I asked if they would consider paying anything additional (this was several days before the fairness hearing was held on December 12). I would never advise anyone buy an Audi after this experience.

I bought a brand new Audi Q3 2015 last year. Audi was my dream car before, but after buying this car I am feeling guilty of buying this car. I had a service @ one of the dealership last year. They had done wheel alignment and rebalance last year. The service was bad and when I gave the car for routine maintenance at different dealership they wanted me to pay again for rebalancing and wheel alignment. I have contacted Audi to complaint on the bad service. They took a complaint but never called me back with resolution. One of the customer care representative told me that I have to reach out directly to dealer and they wont help me in this issue. I dont understand why I need to buy a luxurious car who dont even take care of their customer concerns properly. I will never buy this car and planning to sell this car in near future. Bottom line - its not my dream car anymore.

Audi A4 2.0T - 69k miles and Im in the hole almost $8k!! Bought the car certified pre-owned with 32k miles. Keeping up with all recommended maintenance and caring for the car inside and out, this vehicle has been nothing but a lemon. Its been on a tow truck 4 times in 3 years. In the shop 6 times outside of regular maintenance. Cylinders replaced. Pistons replaced. A/c gone twice! I can go on... I dreamed of having this car, and now I cant get it sold quick enough. Going all American! Shame on Audi for poor design putting Turbo on a 4 cylinder car and straining the ** out of the engine causing parts to weaken faster for replacement. Overpriced car doesnt even hold value. Never again! That just explains why there is so much inventory of Audis for sale everywhere. People cant get rid of them quick enough.

I recently leased a 2021 Audi Q5 Sportback and after riding it for a couple of hours I noticed that the engine makes a whistling noise at low RPM (around 1500) when accelerating. This is loud enough that you can easily hear it on highways. Moreover, the turbo makes a loud hissing noise whenever I accelerate. I also test drove 3 more Q5s and they all made the same noises (both whistling at low RMP and high hissing noise). So, I took it to the dealership to exit out of my lease and they said since this issue is happening on all the cars there’s no easy way to get out of the lease and they can buy back the car and the sum of money out of my pocket was 11,000 dollars. So, I called Audi USA and they said they cannot do anything with lease termination and there was basically no way for me to get out of the lease without losing too much money. They suggested I should take it to my local service to thoroughly diagnose this and I did. They gave me a report that quotes: Customer states at low rpm there is a whistling sound coming from the engine. Customer went on test with shop Foreman previously. Technician performed road test and confirmed whistling noise. Technician scanned vehicle and found no faults or DTC pertaining to engine bay. Tech was able to test drive identical model to compare and found noise is normal and from wastegate opening high speed/ low RPM under load. Vehicle is operating as designed. So basically, the engine of a $61K German made car makes different types of noises, and they call it operating as designed and there is no good solution that I was given by neither the dealership nor Audi USA. So, if you are sensitive to random engine noise (this is by far different from cool sporty engine sounds) Id steer away from Q5. This is my first lease from Audi and will never come back.

I would like to know how to lodge a formal complaint about my Audi S3 and the dissatisfaction I have received from Audi roadside assistance and Audi Service Centre in Parramatta. When I first walked into the Audi Parramatta dealership when purchasing my S3, the level of service and communication was outstanding! I was so pleased with how I was informed every step of the way and the progress on when my car was being built. It all went downhill from there as soon as I left the dealership.About 8 months of owning the car the centre console panel started to flack up and peel exposing the aluminium underlay of the part of the car. Shortly after that my car overheated and the warning light came on for me to turn off my engine and put coolant in the car. I was stranded with my 1 year old and my 3 year old. I called the Audi roadside assistance and was told that someone would be there within an hour. 4 hours later no one turned up so I was forced to drive the car myself with my 3 year old and 1 year to the Parramatta service centre for them to add coolant to the car. Then I was emailed a survey about the roadside and because I gave them a 0 mark they called me the next day asking why I had marked them so low. I explained that I was left stranded for hours on end with my 2 kids under the age of 3 and had to drive my overheated car to the service centre myself. I was told by the person on the phone that the job was not logged and that is why no one came or called. Then when I booked in my car for the service I was told I had to wait close to 2 weeks for the new part to arrive. I waited weeks and no one from the Parramatta service centre got in touch with me so I had to call them to follow up with them to confirm my appointment and confirm the part had arrived. I dropped it off and had arranged a loan car. I inquired about the terms and conditions of the loan car agreement. I was told by MASON that I would have to pay $2500 excess regardless if I got into an accident and it was not my fault. So I couldnt even utilise the loan car which is why I asked for the loan car so I could use it for work. I missed an entire days work because of this information that was wrong! I was mislead and deceived into signing this legally binding agreement. Then to top it off after missing an entire day of work to have a part in my car changed, I was called at 3:30 PM to tell me the part had been damaged, mind you the car was dropped off at 8:00 AM that morning. There is no way it was damaged when leaving the factory in Germany, clearly it was damaged when the staff opened it. I know this because the Assistant Manager Chris told me that the part comes wrapped in bubble wrap and layers of other material to protect and it gets delivered in a box. I was then told I have to wait another week and a half for another part to come in.2 weeks later I am yet to hear anything from Audi Parramatta service centre. The website clearly states that first class service to Audi consumers when clearly that is not the case. What is the point of having an Audi if the staff cannot even communicate with its consumers, when they cant even advise its consumers of correct information on an agreement, when my car over heats and parts are damaged and when roadside leaves its consumers stranded? It is a joke that I have spent all this money on this car and to be so dissatisfied. No one at the service centre offered any sort of compensation or help with anything. Not even a sorry.Today after waiting 2 weeks for the new part to arrive I dropped my car off again to Audi Service Centre to have the part changed. I wasnt even called to pick it up even though I left my mobile number with Jeffery, instead my husband was called and when I got to Audi to pick my car up I had to wait 20 minutes as Jeffery was too busy to see me. He told me that he had delayed his lunch and that he had been waiting for me, what kind of employee at a service centre even says that to its customer? On top of that my car not only got damaged whilst they changed the part, the part they fitted doesnt even fit correctly and the installer has now damaged two parts of the console of my car. The worst experience Audi has delivered, worst service and lack of due diligence is unbelievable. I now have to wait even longer to have new parts brought in and I am told Chris or Jeffery will be in touch but it will be a while. The worst Service Centre ever!!!

We purchased an Audi Q7 with 92,000 km on it from Sydney. We looked at it on the 21st March 2012 and bought it for the price advertised on the 22nd March 2012 with no questions asked. We were offered 3 year new car warranty for $3,500, which we paid up with also no questions asked. On the 21st, we were asked to pick up the car at 10 am on the 22nd. We came at 10am and the car was not ready. We waited for 2 hours. There was a problem with the Audi but they didn’t tell us exactly what, they just said it’s not a big deal. The day before, we explained to them that the car must be ready at 10am as we were driving to Melbourne. We were then approached by a group manager who said that we can’t have the 3 year warranty, it was a mistake and that we can have a 2 year warranty for $2,600. We did not want to accept this. Finally, they agreed to give us as promised 3 year new car warranty for $3,500 but the lady that does that was away so they promised the next day I would get the paperwork for the warranty from Anna Marie. Of course, I never did. I called 3 times and finally got the paperwork but it was for the 2 years, which is not what was promised. Therefore, there was a lot of emailing back and forth. After 2 weeks of having the car, the seat broke and the buckle broke cup holders jammed. We did a diagnostic scan of the Audi computer which showed engine faults and other faults. Vince ** from Audi Alto NSW confirmed there is nothing wrong with the car. Since the car was under the 3 month warranty Audi Brighton (Melbourne) had to get approval from Audi NSW, which has taken 3 days and I still don’t have my car. A week ago when I went into Audi Brighton, someone looked at the car and noted all the problems and made me an appointment for a week’s time. At this point, that dealer knew that the car was from NSW and that it was under the 3 month warranty but they didn’t bother to contact anyone in the meantime. So on when I took my car in, they said it will take approx 5 hours and will call me when done but they realized that they need Audi NSW approval. 3 days has gone past and my car is sitting in Audi Brighton and they still haven’t touched it. Both the dealers are lying and making up excuses. I am fed up with this. I just want my car fixed as it hasn’t even been a full month. I don’t think that it was appropriate that Audi NSW sold me a faulty car or at least didn’t tell me about it. I have not yet experienced something as horrible as this. What can I do? What are my rights? This is just shocking.

On March 17, 2012, I purchased a new 2012 Audi A7 from Fletcher Jones Audi in Chicago, Illinois. I live in Saint Louis Missouri. I had not seen the actual vehicle that I was purchasing because the dealership was going to ship the vehicle to me. While I was waiting on them to bring the vehicle from the garage, we completed all of the paperwork. When I finally saw the car, my husband, myself and two other people that were with us noticed all of the white spots/blotches all over the car. The car is black. The salesman assured me that by the time they shipped the car to me, they would have all of these paint issues corrected/removed. The sales contacted me on March 22 to inform me that the car was being delivered on Saturday, March 24. I asked him if all of the white spots had been removed from the car and he stated yes, that the car is in perfect condition. The truck driver delivered the vehicle to me on the morning of March 24th. Once the car was removed from the bed, both my husband and I immediately noticed that the same white spots where still all over the vehicle. We informed the driver and contacted the salesman on the spot while the truck driver was still there. The salesman, as well as his boss and the manager of the dealership all assured us that the issue would be handled and corrected and not to worry, that they would do whatever it took to get the paint problem corrected. The salesman stated that he looked the car completely over before putting it on the bed of the truck and that there were absolutely no spots on the vehicle. He said the transporter must have done something to the vehicle because it was in perfect condition when it left their dealership. For the next two weeks, my husband and I spent time calling and emailing the dealership to find out what they wanted us to do and how they were going to fix the problem. Finally, they instructed us to take the vehicle to a local Audi dealership here in Saint Louis. We made an appointment and took the vehicle to Plaza Audi. They looked at the vehicle and tried to do some minor corrections and that did not work, so they told us to bring it back another day so that they could keep it and do a completed detail and buff and try to buff the spots out. They kept my car for three days and when I picked it up, they informed me that they were not able to correct the issue and that we they would recommend we take the car to their auto body/collision center to see what they recommend. We made an appointment and took the car to Plaza Collision Center. They then completed an estimate of what the car would need to have done in order to get rid of the spots. They said that the spots were in the paint so the hood would need to be re-painted and the other areas of the car they could buff the spots out. They gave us everything in writing and told us to get with Fletcher Jones to see how they wanted to proceed. For the next month, we tried to contact Fletcher Jones and the service center guy at Plaza Audi told us that he had been trying to contact Fletcher Jones to see how they wanted to proceed. In the meantime, I went ahead and made Audi America (the parent company/owner of Audi) aware of the issue and got them involved. After Christine at Audi America made several phone calls to both dealerships and collision center, she instructed me to contact the collision center to set up a date for repair. When I contacted Ben at the collision center, he informed me that he was waiting to see how Fletcher Jones wanted to handle the payment of the repair. I waited about a week and still did not have a date for repair. Christine then contacted me back and told me that everything had been squared away and that I should take my vehicle to the Plaza Collision center on June 11, 2012. I took my vehicle in and the collision center told me that they would be done in 3-4 days. They gave me a Chrysler Caravan as a loaner vehicle. On June 14th, I contacted Plaza Collision to see if my vehicle was ready and they told me that it was not ready. Ben ** promised me that once I returned from vacation on June 23rd, my vehicle would be ready. On June 25, I contacted Ben and he told me that he did not know the status of my vehicle and that he would call me back. He never called me back. Finally on June 27th, he informed me that they had not even started on my vehicle. He told me that they had not done anything to my vehicle. I told him that I was coming to get my vehicle that same day. When I got my vehicle, my husband and I noticed that in addition to the white spots, I now have brown swirl burn marks on my hood from them using the machine and trying to buff the spots from my hood so much instead of just re-painting it. Christine contacted me to ask if my vehicle had been repaired to my satisfaction and I informed her of everything that had happened. She told me that she was going to escalate my issue to her boss because it had gotten to the point where I had been more than patient. A week later on July 5th, I was told that the collision center would not be able to repair my car until August 9th. I was told by Nick, who is the service manager at Plaza Audi, and Christine that I would bring my vehicle in and that I would be given an Audi loaner vehicle not a minivan. Audi also agreed to compensate me one notes car payment for all the time, headache, frustration, mental anguish, etc. that I had suffered during the last five months. I took my car in to the dealership this morning and was informed that they did not have any Audi loaner vehicles but they would deliver me an Audi loaner vehicle by the end of the day. At the end of the day on August 9, I am being told that they do not know when they will get an Audi loaner vehicle and that they will call me when they get one. I now have my car returned back to me and the repairs have still not been made.

After explaining several times to Audi corporate employees and this supervisor, my issues were brushed off and I was presented with their proposed resolution which was to lubricate my brake pads, a procedure that had already been performed on my vehicle previously without resolving the issues. This is the most unprofessional customer service I have dealt with and thanks to their horrible customer care and retention department I will be trading in my vehicle for a BMW, where the customer service actually listens to and cares for their consumers.

It varies from sport car models, to mid size suvs, to full size suv, and amazing cars. If youre looking for a car for the family then the Q7 is amazing, I love how smooth it drives. The appearance of Audi gives you that sleek, business, sophisticated look. Not only are Audis head turners, they also are remarkable on the inside with some of its features for the higher models. I personally like the backup cameras, the automatic mirrors, and the signal to let you know there is a car on the side of you. You can experience any upgrade such as the seats. Most cars come with the standard black leather seats, but you can replace it with the tan or red. For the Q7s I know they can fit 5 people comfortably and as far as the sport cars you have to be a short person to fit in it. The full size cars are extremely roomy.

My son-in-law and I went in to the Audi car dealers on Hawthorne Boulevard in Torrance. We went in the door, and out of the door, to the cars parked outside. We looked around, and passed a few sales persons. They never greeted us. In fact, they never said a word. Disgusted at this kind of treatment, we walked back through, and left. So much for my interest in buying a car from them.

Audi 2007 a4 2.0 Engine Defects - I bought an Audi convertible and a SUV together. I use the old used SUV and love it, but my Audi I treated like a baby. Tons of maintenance and care. It had a recall and camshaft replacement. Then oil consumption/oil pressure problems. Then second camshaft replacement. Feel like I was lied to about my engine problems. Now I need new engine. Was told by a mechanic all the defects and recalls caused metal in engine and ruined my engine. He said its Audis fault.

My car is black, super shiny and is an all wheel drive. Its fast and has a great stereo system. Leather seats are awesome. My favorite part is that the seats are heated. I also love the look of the cars logo. My car draws the attention of people quite often. The wheels look nice and sharp. I can always personalize my car. Id love to add turbo to make my car go super fast. I love racing others in my Audi. I can paint it if I wanted or add a better sunroof. I can fit all my friends inside. We all go on long rides. It never looks like a clown car. Theres plenty of space in the back and the front of the car. It has electronic seats to move forward and back if more room is needed. I love Audis!

Brand new car when the complete computer that is based at the dash died. It powers pretty much everything in the car. Module was changed under warranty. Since then the radio will not hold preset stations. Audi says while other customers have complained of same they have no reason to think its an Audi problem. Sent me to sirius xm who say it is an Audi module problem. That they should replace a plug in and that will solve the issue. Dealer says not their problem. So I continue paying monthly for a radio that does not do what it is designed to do. Anyone else experience this? I am in between a rock and a hard place.

I purchased a 2021 Audi RS6 from the dealer then found horrible paint and body defects on the entire vehicle days later. Audi USA would not respond to my attempts at contacting them until I called them out on Social Media. Apparently, that’s the only way to get anyone to respond. Even still, I was told by Audi to “trust the dealer and their attempt to make it better.” So I did and it is even more so ruined. Audi has not offered any customer service when purchasing a vehicle of this caliber and price point. Severely disappointed.

I bought my dream car, a 2014 A7 TDI, at the beginning of the year. With 8500 Miles, it stalled in the middle of the road, and would not restart. My first concern was that maybe my husband put in unleaded gas instead of diesel. After calling the Audi Roadside Assistance (which I will never use again) and waiting for 2 hours for a tow truck, my car was finally taken to the dealership. They do not know what is wrong - it wasnt the gas. I am so frustrated. They need to keep my car for a week to diagnose, and longer if necessary. I do not want my car back. I have lost my passion for my car and brand Audi.

I purchased an Audi used with 21,000 kms. Since owning it, I had some major stuttering during acceleration. The technicians had it in the shop no less than 5 times replacing parts or cleaning injectors. Just before warranty ran out, I asked if I had their commitment to repair this known problem before the warranty ran out - I had this in writing. Sure enough, even though I was promised a fifth time that it was repaired, the same issue occurred. Since this was after warranty the dealer had to use good will, but after a few attempts gave up and pretty much left me to deal with Audi Canada directly. Audi Canada suggest it was the wiring harness or computer that could have been making the issue and offered to pay 50% of the total cost. Even though this should have been covered under warranty in the first place, they would not budge and gave me an ultimatum that if I didnt accept the offer, they would retract it. Even worse, after agreeing, I asked if this would be a guaranteed fix. They said, No guarantee and no refund if this did not fix the issue. So, less for me. I will NEVER buy an Audi again. I love the look and feeling of the drive, but the customer service was absolutely brutal. Never have I been treated so poorly for such a top price item. I was basically speaking to a brick wall when dealing with Audi Canada. The dealer was great but had to abide by Audi Canada. Seriously, think twice before you buy an Audi!

These vehicles tend to be extremely visually pleasing, stylish and sleek. These are usually futuristic looking and quite stunning to see. And these vehicles tend to be quite accommodating to multiple passengers with the exception of the spot models. They usually have great leg and head room. Great size for families or large people. And there is a fair amount of variety and selection. I do feel they are highly overpriced when it comes to maintaining the vehicle. They can be reliable but when they break parts can cost more than the vehicle itself. Custom wheels, custom sound systems, custom paint and custom interior options. Also custom accessory packages. These custom features tend to increase the price dramatically.

I purchased my 2012 Audi TT used with approximately 7,000 miles on it. I drive the car regularly without any issue and am currently at 38,000 miles. One day the car stopped operating properly and was towed to the Sewickley Audi Dealership, a certified Audi Dealership. After various diagnosis, the service department contacted me to inform me that the car will need an entirely new engine! I was shocked. Although the car was a 2012, the mileage was relatively low for needing an entire new engine. A car should not age because an owner did not drive it year round (which is likely what the original owner did).Audi USA and the dealership offered to covered 75% of the cost of the new engine and the repair because the warranty had expired 1.5 months ago. I was very disappointed in this. I still cannot believe that a car with 38,000 miles could possibly need a new engine. With no other option, I paid for 25% of the repair at $2,500. I will never buy another Audi.

I drive a 2012 Audi A6 SuperCharged. A few days ago I received a recall for fuel pump change, in that I called the nearest Audi dealership to make an appointment for the change on 01/26/2017. In the process of the change I decided to have an oil change. At the dealership everyone was very nice and took care of me within the process of the service and assured me that the fuel pump and the oil change has been taken care of and paid 140.27 dollars for the oil change. The biggest part me going to the dealership was because of the recall for the fuel pump because of the letter I received a few days ago. This morning 01/27/2017, after my daily routine coming home the car engine suddenly turned off. The worst part of this was that I was traveling on a highway, Palisades Parkway to be exact. On the dashboard of the car there were no indication of something wrong. The fuel gauge was indicated as that the car had fuel in the car. Not thinking about the amount of fuel that is in the car, I thought that there was something wrong with the engine itself. Thinking back from yesterdays service, the service was for the fuel pump recall. Thinking that it couldnt be fuel because I just came out of the service for this problem, but to be sure I called a friend to bring some gas to put in the car. Sure enough after adding fuel into the car the car started and I was able to drive to the nearest gas station to fill up.In all, this complaint is for the service at the Audi Town Motors of Englewood NJ where they specialize in Audi. Having trusted that an Audi dealership would know how to service an Audi car, was the worst mistake of my life. Driving a car in the highway, all of the sudden losing an engine and feeling a life or death situation was something that I wanted to share. Cars flying by me trying desperately to move the car to a safe place to park was something that no one should experience. I would like to formally put a complaint to the Audi Town Motors of Englwood NJ at 400 South Dean St Englewood NJ 07631. For the life or death situation I was in and amount of time I had to suffer for the mistakes that the Audi made, in a recall that Audi of America formally gave out to all of the Audi owners.

BRAND NEW 2017 Q7 BRAKE NOISE AT 6500 MILES AND THEY CANT FIX IT. There are videos reviews and complaints all over the web on this same issue. All Audi USA states is they are working on a fix. How long does that go on for until they step up and fix the issue. They wont fix it because it will cost them too much. Every time I go to dealer service I get the same (its normal). We bought a CPO 2011 Q5 from a dealer in Chicago. As we were driving it home to Ohio, I noticed that one headlight was brighter than the other. Long story short, it turns out that it had been in an accident. The dealer refused to let us return it, or have it fixed at their cost. My dream car turned into my worst nightmare. Audi customer service is by far and away the worst I have ever dealt with. I got my Q3 brand spankin new and for the first 2 years it was excellent. Now in my 3rd year, Ive had my vehicle serviced twice for rear-view camera malfunctions. Now, my vehicle wont turn on. Im stranded. I have what I suspect to be some sort of major computer malfunction because despite my turning the vehicle off, the radio turns on by itself and is what I suspect to be the reason why my battery has drained (and no, I never got the battery service light prior to this incident, in fact, I didnt get any service indicator lights). Once I miraculously got it started, the speedometer and computer mph reading defer by 25 mph - at a red light the computer reads Im going 25 mph. I also get the occasional TPMS on my dash and my tires are fine. This wouldve cost me a fortune if my vehicle werent still under warranty. Its only 3 years and 8 months old and has less than 42000 miles.

I bought an A4 a year and a half ago used but in incredible condition. Now for my confusing part. The car starts to idle rough, push the turn off button and keeps running for a few seconds. The engine light appears the next day. Ran code and came up timing. I then read it been quite the problem it seems. People having catastrophic engine failure at worst. I then see Audi has been sued.I contact the lawyer firm representing the plaintiffs (on the tensioner failure) and was sent a form because my Audi was one of the models affected. Was told as long as I bring it to an authorized Audi dealership it would be covered 100% and if brought to an independent repair shop $1500 would be covered. Well I called the only dealer near me 50 miles away and was told, Yes we are aware of the extended warranty and yes Audi will cover it. Okay great!!! Had the car flat bedded there. Got a call they received my car. Great then a service advisor called and said it would be a few days to a week to repair. I was told it a 10 hour job. I said okay. Then a few days later I called back because I had a question. The service advisor told me, I was just about to write you an email. I have some bad news. Audi will only cover 25% of the repair and need maintenance records. What!!!! What happened to you know all about the extended warranty and look forward to seeing your car. I said as far as the maintenance records they are all listed on Carfax. Was told they cant use that. (Why? Extended warranty companies use them along with Edmunds.) I dont know. Like I said Im confused completely. Its been over a week and havent heard a word back from anyone. I will say for the record the employees I did talk to were very polite but polite doesnt answer why I havent heard back about the status.

I found the Audi Q5 to be a very attractive car compared to other models that I had reviewed. It has a lot of features that I wanted in a car and the price was within my budget. I chose the Audi because of safety ratings that it has, it rides great and it had most of the features that I wanted. The car has GPS, which comes in handy often. It has WiFi and drives smoothly to be an SUV. The SUV has lots of power and acceleration is great. I enjoy the fact that it has Bluetooth and Sirius Radio as well as heated and vented seats. However, it does not have a convenient USB port and the GPS system took some time to program. I would change the location of the cup holders. I find it awkward to drive and use my cup holder because of where its located. I also wish I had steering wheel heater and that it had the in dash readout. But overall the Audi Q5 is a great car.

In winter 2016 I have bought brand new 2017 Audi A4 Premium Plus for 47k. It was this new version with cool digital gauges and new technology. It was rather exciting. I was thinking at the time that this small luxury sedan was worth the money. Then in December 2020, I got the message that my car doesnt support any more Google maps and from December 31 will stop working. Really after 3 years my car is obsolete and exciting feature that I have chose this car for is no longer available. I have contacted dealerships right away to see if I can upgrade my car, but answer was no, and I should probably get a new or newer Audi in order to have that ability. So 4 years after I cough up 47k for this Audi and planning to keep it in the family for longer, this car lost one of features that was their top selling point. I had a numbers of Audi cars so far in my life A4, A6, Q5 and Q7. I can tell you one thing. I will never ever again buy a Audi. It is like throwing away you money for something that will be obsolete in 3-4 years. Really sad from company that I had a the time on top for my vehicle needs.

I took in the car as the windows smash and grab gets scratched out every time I open the windows (all of them). Response was a sorry and they took it in to be fixed. 2015/11/26 - My car went in for a service and they smashed it and had to wait until January driving a smashed car. Brand new car now turned into a smashed one and I must just accept a sorry???Response was: It is regrettable that your car got damaged whilst in for service. We do sincerely apologize for the mishap despite us taking extreme caution with our customers cars. Please understand that we do not plan these things but they do happen at all dealerships. We are transparent and accept responsibility for the incident. I have arranged for your car to come in around the 2nd week of January 2016 once everything returns to normal. And then they ask me not to rate them with Audi SA - May I please ask that you do not participate in the survey with IPSOS should they decide to call you. May I ask that you rather participate in the survey once we have repaired the damage on your car? This rating is very important to us and I think the whole experience has been tainted by this unfortunate event. Now I went over a month ago as here is a list of problems. Loud sound when I hit the brakes and go over humps, the car cuts power when I drive it, the car doesnt lock, the dashboard and speedometer switches off while Im driving, when you put the car on reverse it does the opposite and when you put it on drive it reverses before it moves forward (at my sons school when I put it on drive it reversed into another car). The soft top needs to be tightened as well, no rain sensor as well, its as if electrically it is messed up.Over a month ago they asked me to bring it in and one of their technicians drove around Sandton to listen and also said he knows what the problem is so I need to book it in and it will take days to fix it. I asked if I will get a loan car and they said ok. When we went back to their office where they said the booking agents were in a meeting and I must just leave my number, they did phone me and booked it in for the 8th of June. When the car started not locking I phoned them again as I was very worried then Ismail asked me to bring it in this Monday, I asked for my loan car and was told I will never get one as the previous guys did not even book a loan car for me and if I want to wait then they can only fix and give me a loan car in July.Clearly Audi doesnt care about the owners safety. I decided I have to take it as I fear for my life, I dropped it off at Audi on Monday morning and even today I havent got feedback as to what is wrong with the car??? I really thought the technician that drove with me said he knew where the problem is. I really want Audi to give me my money and take their car back. I seriously dont think its fair that its their technical fault and I must suffer!!! Now I phoned at 7h25 today to speak to Ismael or the dealer principal (was told Ismael is around but they cant get hold of him and the dealer principal will be in around 1 pm). I still dont know what is wrong with my car or HOW IM GETTING HOME TODAY as I had to take Uber to come to work and drop off my son.

I recently paid off my 2011 A4, financed entirely through Audi Financial Services. I needed the title to purchase a new A4 Prestige. I called Audi Finance to get the title. I was told that they had sent it to my home address after the last payment had been made. When I said I had never received it, the customer service rep said they would look into sending a lien release letter so I could go to the DMV and pay for a duplicate title... so I could buy another Audi. I then asked for them to send me a duplicate title. After a long wait she said they could do that for $25 and it would take 4-6 weeks. Which is amazing since they never sent the title, I never missed a payment, and I was eager to go to the local Audi dealer to finance the purchase of a 2017 A4 Prestige. Thats not going to happen. Audi Financial Services is the weakest link in your organization, and needs fixing. First, I explored purchasing my Audi A8L at the end of my lease. The forms were to be mailed to me, but I never received them. Second, I then explored selling the car to CarMax, and received a purchase quote of $54,022 on September 29, good through October 6.Third, on October 1, I asked Audi about a 1-month lease extension, gave my credit card information, but when told of the amount ($2,164.42), I canceled the request at once. Your agent didn’t cancel as I asked. I’m now disputing that amount on my credit card. Fourth, when I tried to sell the car to Carmax on October 5, Audi sent another purchase quote — adding more than $4,270. I refused this exorbitant second quote, as I was within the time parameters of the first quote. After five hours of conversations with Audi agents in three states, Audi agreed to stand by the original purchase quote. During those five hours, however, I was often faced with “waiting for the next available agent” up to 20 minutes, voicemails, and agents who could not make decisions and passed me off to others. I needed one agent who could respond quickly and make a prompt decision. This litany of poor customer service is abysmal and unworthy of Audi.

I bought a brand new 2014 diesel Q7. I loved it, loved how it drove, the gas mileage, its acceleration and handling. I loved the sound system and how roomy it was, and how comfortable it was to drive and ride in from almost any seat. 3rd row kind of sucked, but usually their kids anyway. So what happened? The government. Freakin California says they lied about emissions. Diesels anywhere else in the world (literally - Ive been there) are mainstream BECAUSE of their fuel efficiency. So they pay me 8K to keep my car and fix it so that it meets ridiculous standards of emissions. I got it fixed May? of 2018. Its now been in the shop 2x for 7-10 days per time because of the ad blue light indicator/system being faulty. This last time they thought there was air in the lines so they had to have the mechanic drive it for 50 miles (with my permission - I live 2 hours from the dealer) to verify purging of the system. They also found out I had it chipped at some point - way before their fix and of course now they want to say their warranty for the fix is no longer viable. My performance chip that is no longer even connected due to their re-construction of my exhaust system has nothing to do with their ad-blue fiasco. Of course, in Audis best interest they no longer offer diesel vehicles in the US but will still offer them overseas. Along with VW who has a smashing replica in 2019 of what this car used to be. I used to love my Audi, now its an anchor and potential money pit.

The Audi A4 2014 rarely has any problems and has spacious interior with luxurious feel to it. The style is classic that can stand the test of time. It stands out from the other cars because it is one of the kind design, there is no mistake it has its own style. I am happy with it because it meets my need and want. I enjoy the smooth ride it provides and my passenger gets a special treat from riding in this car. Although the upgrade and personalization can be pricey, but what is the point of driving a car if you dont experience the special unique that is offered by the car? It is worth the money.

Car has 20k miles. It has had key fob unrecognized, have to walk away, come back, it works. Ive had engine shut off on highway due to overheating (thank God I was next to the shoulder lane). My check brake light indicator comes, lights up on the dash, brake lights however work fine. Dealer so far has added antifreeze (it wasnt low to begin with - just above min) cant find problem with light, would have to tear car down. Then I was rear ended at stop light, 8k in repair done by Audi, car now vibrates. Took it to sunny side Audi bodyshop, they sent me to Sunnyside Audi dealer in middleburg OH, (place of purchase/service) and they try to sell me tires and balance after saying nothing wrong with car alignment. Cant guarantee me that it will fix the problem. I did NOT have a vibration problem before being rear ended.I called Audi America, they sent me back to dealer to try to work something out. My tires have PLENTY of tread left as I used winter tires for at least 8k miles of the 20k. Just a horrible experience with the car, with the service, with the repair work of Audi manufacturing, sunny side Audi service, sunny side Audi collision center. Ive owned Honda, Toyota, Ford and Acura, not had any problems. Acura replaced a 600.00 part under warranty. It failed 2 years later after extended warranty expired and they fixed it again, free of charge under good faith. Audi should learn from this. Im going back to Acura. Im not unreasonable. I offered to pay for tires if indeed it takes care of problem. If it doesnt they should. As I said it 100% did not shake/vibrate before accident. The other electrical issues I just deal with until lease end.

This vehicle has very luxurious features like a navigation and heated seats. I enjoy sitting in the car every time I drive. I love this car. There arent much upgrade options because the base model has a lot of features.

I took delivery of an Audi A8L that I purchased from Audi of Fairfield (in Connecticut) on September 1, 2011. I already owned a BMW 5 series and another car, but neither had all-wheel drive. So I wanted to get the Audi before the first snow. I took delivery on Sept. 1 only to accommodate the dealer, Audi of Fairfield, who wanted to close the sale in time for an end-of-month bonus. On Sept 1, Audi was offering $3000 to BMW owners who purchased an A8, but you have to own the 7 series, not the 5 series. Six days later, on Sept. 7, Audi of America extended the offer to those A8 purchasers (like me) who own a BMW 5 series. Neither the dealer nor Audi of America feels the least bit obligated to extend the offer to me. If you bought a $20 shirt at a department store and it went on sale 6 days later for $18, there isnt a department store in America that wouldnt give you the $2. But it seems that when you buy a $90,000 Audi 8L from Audi of Fairfield and take delivery earlier than you needed the car to accommodate the dealer, neither the dealer nor the parent company will extend to you a $3000 rebate that you become eligible to receive only six days later! I want to sue the **, perhaps by claiming that their behavior violates the covenant of good faith and fair dealing that courts in most jurisdictions read into contracts.

Car looks great and modern in every model. It doesnt look outdated or ugly and I would recommend. The colors dont make it look tacky or cheap. The shiny sleek exterior is reflective upon my money spent. The cost of buying this car is rather high and the look should appear to be classy as well. I thought it was great that this car had a variety of customizations and personalizations that fit my needs and wants. I believe that they met every standard I had set. The car does fit five people but Ive managed to fit six. I think that it does offer more space than what it seems to be. Everybody is comfortable and happy regardless.

I bought a used car, a 2003 Audi A4 1.8T, from this dealer on 7-27-2012. The next day, the engine check light was on and I took it to a repair shop to examine it. Also, the coolant alarm keeps popping up. The technician told me the catalytic converter needs to be changed along with other issues. Fixing the engine check light problem will cost me $1,000, not to mention the two complete junk tires that need to be replaced. Furthermore, the system was recoded several months ago by the dealer. They tried to hide this information by storing code to the system so that the engine check light wont be back on unless you drive it for several miles. I only have this car a week. The engine was too hot for me to keep driving when I was on my way back home after I brought the issue to the dealer. He told me the car is fine. However, I have to stop and turn off the engine after driving two minutes because the engine was too hot. It took me five hours to drive 20 miles on the express way which was really dangerous. The dealer intentionally hid the major issue of the car from me - the buyer - and refused to fix the issue. Neither did he agree to get this car back and give my portion of money back. This is really a nightmare. It is really dangerous to drive a car at 20 miles/hour speed on an expressway and to stop it abruptly just to let the engine gets cooler. That is crazy.

I bought Audi A4, 2008 model sportline from a dealer in Jordan. After one month, I found that there is a major problem in the engine. I went to the dealer in Jordan who said that he cant repair the engine and he dont have any spare parts for the engine. The dealer policy is to replace the engine which cost about $16,250.00. We tried to find the spare parts from the local market but we cant so our car is stopped since three weeks. I dont know how people can buy Audi car while the dealer cant provide good service and spare parts. Actually, we pay $37,000.00 for such car but we cant use it because the dealer service is very bad. We lose too much for that and waiting for the AUDI company to keep their reputation.

We own an Audi A4, and loving it. The car was serviced regularly at Pacific Audi. The only problem we experienced was with the oil consumption, it took up oil like we have never seen in any car before. We complained a few times before warranty was up, but nothing was done. When we elevate our complaint (after warranty period), this is what Pacific Audi Svc folks told us because we waited too long, i.e. post warranty period, it will cost $500+ to do the oil consumption test, and if our car needs to have the piston replaced it will cost about $10K - $15K. We were livid. We took the car to Long Beach AUDI for 2nd option again. Our Audi A4 is a great car, handling is great. We are actually considering another Audi. We will NEVER return to PACIFIC AUDI again to buy or to have our car serviced. They always tried to gauge us. There was always a problem, if not one thing its another. We had to bring it to our mechanic for a 2nd opinion because we dont trust them, this time we took it to Long Beach AUDI. Read more if you want to know how much Long Beach AUDI charged us to fix the oil problem.

Audi is stylish, performs like a dream and has some of the sexiest designs. If you cant at least admire an Audi by its appearance then try its performance. ;) Their upgrade and personalization options were great... plenty of options. They could expand on selections but the array provided was satisfactory. I was happy with my choices but could always use improvements. I have a 4dr A6. Its just fine... all their cars within the classes are pretty comfortable. Looked at everything and space for capacity wasnt really an issue. Just purchase towards your needs. Is Audi building a few or more lemons and attempting to outrun their flawed
Is Audi building a few or more lemons and attempting to outrun their flawed automobiles with marketing dollars and by sweeping the (hopefully few) flawed machines under the rug? A search of these Audi forums disclose a number of late model A8L vehicles with similar problems and a lack of any candid acknowledgement by Audi that they intend to stand behind their product and make good on their promises and warranties.Apparently, Audi America is instead intimidating dealers, directing them to not touch the car or refusing to pay them for warranty repairs unless they buy into the deceit that is part of the game of concealing rather than admitting and resolving these recurring problems. I suspect that these problems may result from there being two classes of vehicles coming of the A8 assembly lines in Neckarsulm, Germany. The vehicles sold to Diplomats and dignitaries, limousine services, top Audi executives and engineers may receive vehicles built when the assembly line may move at one (slower) speed or the more awake shift employees, and the rest of us, well, we get a mixed collection of manufacturing oversights and defects, hopefully not too many in any one vehicle.I suspect there is also a schism between the engineers, mechanics and the bean counters as the integrity of the engineers and mechanics would almost certainly be willing to admit and resolve these nagging problems. What appears to have happened unfortunately is that the manipulator/managers have decided they can disguise the flaws, claiming as designed and suppress any information which would cause buyers to think twice before buying into a flawed brand.A specific issue here is a new vehicle purchased from Audi of Fairfield, in Connecticut last summer under the Audi European Delivery Program, delivered at the Ingolstadt, Germany factory in June, 2012 and subsequently driven around Europe and shipped to the USA and Connecticut. The vehicle was delivered in the USA in November 2012 at Fairfield, Connecticut.Repair requests have been made in Berlin, Amsterdam, Fairfield and in Vermont. As of the beginning of February 2013, Audi of America has now directed that two different Audi dealers not service or touch the car to implement any of the needed repairs. Audi of America appears to be gaming the Lemon Law system of requirements where a car has to be documented for three or four visits to the dealer to attempt repairs prior to invoking a state Lemon Law. This might also explain why several dealers in Europe had serviced the car and were requested in writing to address some of these issues, yet nothing was documented which would satisfy the lemon law requirements. Dirty pool!In summary: Seat sensor - airbag deactivation, outside mirror heat not working, tranny hard downshift when slowing, radio station refresh, cell phone loss of pairing - persistent, console rattle, door close/locks malfunction when cold, clunk (repeatable) on acceleration from stop, MMI system fails to play .wav and .flac files, interior headliner lights flicker, front suspension rattles on rough road, and intermittent seat belt warnings failure.Issues identified in detail:The front passenger seat disables airbag protection intermittently when 115-pound person is seated. It is a recurring issue since June. A mysterious knock/clunk behind the dash is evident on every acceleration from a complete stop. Probably caused by the motor mount or strut tower yet, buried deep behind the engine. It is a recurring issue since June.Since the transmission program changed in September, prior to US delivery, there is a hard downshift when slowing and when engaging reverse on a hill. It is worse than the original programming yet CT dealer and Audi America refuse to document what software version was installed at European delivery and what change was made in Connecticut after arrival in USA. It is a recurring issue since November. The central touch locking fails when weather is cold repeatedly during December and January. It is a recurring issue since November. Radio stations on MMI do not refresh when traveling from city to city, requiring changing to frequency mode selection and then dialing across the entire band to locate a station. It is a recurring issue since November.Bluetooth pairing with cell phone fails intermittently approximately 50% of the time, despite having replaced phone with an older model, for one on the Audi approved list. One cannot re-attempt pairing while driving due to safety interlock. It is a recurring issue since November despite software upgrade, which seems to be the catchall phrase without actually documenting what issues are designed to be fixed by each upgrade as is common practice in the computer, photo and network hardware industry. The MMI system fails to play .wav and .flac files despite assurances by the salesman that this functionality was part of the MMI as it was in a prior documented software versions. It makes no sense whatsoever to pay for a premium B&O sound system only to discover that the system only plays MP3 and other compressed files. Audi America staff went to the extreme to ask the salesman to search his email history for a paper trail of the (verbal) assurances and then had the salesman mysteriously forget and now denies having ever made such assurances. Dirty pool indeed.Other issues identified are: outside mirrors heating fails to melt ice or clear fog, persistent vibration / rattle in center console dashboard, interior headliner side lights flicker when set to dimmest level, front (left?) control arm(s) or strut rattles on rough road surfaces, car whoops when driving over any bump or speed bump after start - diminished after warm-up, and seat belt reminder warning sounds only work intermittently. All in all, the vehicle incorporates very impressive and even amazing design and engineering. The sad and inexcusable disappointment is the stance taken by Audi of America in their efforts to hide, disguise, deny and then frustrate repair attempts. Brad **, to be specific, is preventing this lemon from coming to the attention of CEO Keogh. This is so contrary to the fine tradition and integrity of the AUDI brand that some heads should certainly roll.[more about the numerous European Delivery Program fiasco to follow]

I purchased a new 2019 A8 - and there is a problem with the software on the engine control module. I traded my Mercedes for a gorgeous brand new 2012 Audi A8 L. My nightmares with Mercedes pushed me away from ever buying another Mercedes product. But the nightmares have returned. 3,700 miles EGV failure. Audi came and towed it to the dealer. Parts had to be ordered from Germany. 5 days, 10 days, 14 days of waiting. Wrong parts arrived. After pushing them to pull one out from another A8 in inventory they finally agreed. In the meantime, I was offered to drive a new Infiniti M series from another dealer because all of the 15 Audi loaners were out. I didnt miss my A8 much because the Infiniti was amazing (note to self...).4,500 miles and the navigation screen wouldnt rise from dash because of a motor failure. 3 days of downtime. 7,000 miles - My dash lit up like Christmas lights due to a mysterious computer glitch. Towed again. 2 days of downtime. Mechanics couldnt find cause. 10,500 miles - Trunk doesnt open due to a motor issue. 1 day of downtime. 14,000 miles - Right side Hella made headlamp housing needed replacement due to moisture build-up. This happened on my Mercedes too at 22,000 miles. I have never experienced any problems with Koito or Ichikoh headlamps. 1 day of downtime. 16,000 miles and its Christmas lights again. All lit up and no engine. Towed again. A sensor was replaced after 2 days. 18,200 miles - HVAC failure. Aluminum die cast compressor clutch cracked and needed replacement. Since then a slightly noticeable noise when operating. It used to be dead quiet. Dealer disagrees... 19,000 miles - Super annoying rattling and humming coming from passenger side door. Loose component found in window regulator. Simple fix.I guess this is a common situation with Audi quality and reliability. For a price inching near $105K, I expected a high quality product. I was wrong. My decision to ignore all the consumer review agencies was indeed a stupid thing to do. All of the repairs were done under warranty. The time without my A8 due to quality issues is ridiculous. The headaches of going back and forth to the dealer is unacceptable. Its the very last Audi I will ever own. Colleagues and friends never have issues with their Lexus/Toyota, Infiniti/Nissan, and other Japanese makes. My 2007 4Runner with 77,000 miles had absolutely ZERO problems. My 2010 997 had a few issues but nothing near my Audi. My brothers Acura TL has had zero issues. Ive decided to get rid of my A8 this month. Im going for the Lexus LS F Sport. It may be a bit boring compared to the Audi, but Im tired of wondering whats going to breakdown today! I am convinced the Germans should rely on Japanese suppliers for electronics! The Germans have the greatest ideas but theyre poorly executed...

I have been an Audi owner for almost 15 years. I finally purchased a brand new 2008 Audi RS4 and have had a problem with my starter. It sometimes just doesnt start, no rhyme or reason. After about 15 minutes, it will start. I have had the car serviced. In fact, it was at the Audi garage for six months. I picked it up today. By the way, it took them almost 45 minutes to get the car to me, then made me sign legal papers clearing them of any legal issues that might occur. I got the car home after driving 120 miles to get it home, parked the car and one hour later it would not start. I told them about the problem when it was serviced which, by the way, was for transmission problems. I paid ten thousand dollars for the service and when I got it home, it wouldnt start. I have owned four previous Audis and was an Audi enthusiast. I am so disappointed in the whole situation that I am done with Audi. I feel taken advantage of and would like some help. Over the last five years, Audi has really let me down. I thought by purchasing one of your higher end cars, it would have guaranteed me a little more consideration. By the way, the same garage had 168 dollars in toll booth fines which went unpaid until I received a letter from the state asking me to appear in court. When I called the garage and I told them, they acted like no big deal. Well, to me, it is a big deal. I have been without my car for six months and when I get it home from the dealer, it wont start. How do you like that for Audi service?

As much as I would of loved to give Audi 5 stars it would be just as unethical and misleading as them and the experience I had with them was. •06/04/2019: My 2010 Audi A4 2.0T mechanical defective timing chain tensioner edition had been effected and damaged in which I paid out of pocket for earlier this year only to find out AFTER the repairs had been made by a less expensive shop that worked within my budget; that this would’ve of been covered by Audi, if they had done their due diligence and notified me but they didn’t. Dealerships aren’t first choice for many people when big major repairs take place especially one as silly and unbelievable as this. If I had been notified correctly back in December 2018 this could’ve all been avoided and properly/thoroughly addressed by Audi themselves within Audi itself but instead I had to take the cost effective and unaware consumer route due to Audi & Audi Nashua’s failure to notify me of this matter. •10/05/2019: Brought my vehicle in for the timing chain matter (that Audi was sued and settle on) amongst other things that had been effected post timing chain failure with hopes that this time Audi would rectify the situation now that the timing chain is going again less than 5 months later in which could of been properly addressed and fixed this time without the constraints of a budget for such a ludicrous repair especially so early in a cars life. However, Audi of Nashua refused to do so regardless of the 24 pages of service records dating back to purchase in 01/2018 with only 64k Miles that I had provided which were more than sufficient enough. Trevor the service rep even seemed impressed with the records. Instead of trying to remedy the matter, I get the diagnosis that I was clearly already well aware of but Audi Nashua wanted me to fix components on the vehicle FIRST out of my pocket that would of been repaired at no cost to me had they notified of this disaster problem to begin with 11 months ago. So now that audi is refusing to back their product like they should’ve my vehicle sat on their lot for days collecting dust and leaking oil from main seal instead of at least beginning the repairs like I had asked. •10/12/2019: Danielle the extremely unprofessional service whatever position at Audi, stated via text “to bring back the loaner or face a $75/day charge so that other customers may have access to the loaner while they wait for parts and repairs to come in.” Basically telling me to pickup my barely drivable Audi with just 100k on it so other customers can have transportation because apparently they are more important than me. So I did. No word back or anything about these parts they ordered either. Reached out to Audi USA and that rep on the phone was as clueless as can be and offered no help. I told Danielle I wasn’t paying for anything as the service team had done nothing except REITERATE everything I already knew, and let my car leak oil until it was nearly bone dry upon pick up. Basically made me feel that because my 2010 peasant Audi isn’t a 2019 I need to go pound sand as that problem is not theirs. •11/08/2019: Here we are less than 5 months later and guess what? Timing chain is going again. This time now that I know this would’ve and should’ve been covered correctly the first time, Audi of Nashua refused to do so regardless of the fact this Audi had been serviced there by previous owner and my 24 pages of service records I had provided that were more than sufficient. Now my car that should of been fixed correctly months ago is now parked lifeless and inoperable as Audi Nashua & Audi brand have completely left me high and dry all because of their own negligence. Now I have gotten the attorney general of NH involved to handle this consumer conflict with hopes that these people will finally rectify the mess that could of and should been avoided.

We have had a 2015 Audi for the last 30000 miles. In this short time it seems that so many things are not meant to last. The tires need replaced, the windshield wipers are worn, and the brakes are squealing. We just found out that every time you replace brake pads you have to also replace the rotors - even if they arent damaged because they supposedly wear out in the same time frame. The maintenance costs are incredibly high and the parts dont seem to last long. Overall we are disappointed in the quality of the vehicle. If you buy one, expect a couple grand a year in maintenance in the first couple of years. We are concerned about whether these costs will skyrocket with age of the vehicle. We would recommend not only looking at initial cost of any vehicle but just as important the expected maintenance costs to keep up a vehicle, so you can make sure you get the expected level of quality in what you buy. We will not choose Audi again in the future.

On May 19th my five year old (under 69,000 miles) Audi A4 had a “piston failure” in which the piston came loose and eventually shattered the skirt. As a result, the engine needed to replaced. I was told by both the dealership and Audi USA that Audi never extends coverage and will not provide any warranty assistance (even in the case of potential negligence). The dealership initially refused to provide a loaner, however, after extending the expected completion of the repair four times, the dealership provided a loaner. They replaced the engine with a rebuilt-engine costing over $8,000 and completed the work on June 14th (26 days in the shop).Beginning July 1st, the rebuilt engine began leaking oil around the camshaft valve cover. The dealership inspected the car and agreed to contact the company from which they purchased the rebuilt engine. They needed to get approval from the supplier before doing any repairs. In the meantime, they told me to continue driving the car. After I called the dealership four times for an update, the dealership informed me that they needed pictures. I emailed pictures to the dealership immediately. I called the dealership four more times for an update and on July 28th, I was told that I could bring the car in August 3rd. The dealership added a high temperature sealant to the valve cover and I picked up the car on August 4th. 34 days to get the oil leak fixed on the rebuilt engine and a total of 77 days from the initial engine failure.

@audiofficial @Audi @vw @etron_audi @bbb_north_america @bbcnews @newyorkermag @nytimes @washingtonpost The worst car company that exists, I have dealt with many higher end companies that have dignity, accountability & responsibility. My mom could have died at Audi’s hands, to this day they keep saying we need to pay for a diagnostics test for them to even consider trying to figure out why the engine started to go around 30k miles, we have had to put oil in the car weekly to date and the most serious debacle: the gas tank imploded in the back seat because of where it’s located the entire back area of the car became gas soaked slowly. Audi could have cared less and we had to pay for it, the mechanic who worked on it used to work for Audi...He said if anyone would have been near this car with a cigarette/match it would have exploded. Deplorable humans and company, #zeroaccountability for a very serious situation. I still have not heard back, only from the bots & robots that respond that WE NEED TO PAY FOR A DIAGNOSTICS TEST. My family has owned 6 VWs and Audis. The A4s were flawless, and the Tiguans worked well. The 2010 Q5 had mechanical and component issues and the new 2014 Q5 is getting gas mileage 10-20% below EPA sticker. Our overall mileage average is 10% below the city EPA value even though we live in the suburbs of Boston, and rarely drive into the city. I believe it is costing me $300-400 more per year in fuel. Audi says the car is operating within specification but I know what my mileage reading are. The Audi customer service people were professional when they delivered a finding I did not agree with. Otherwise the car works as promised. Have other readers had poor gas mileage???

I would like to bring your attention this issue, hopefully I can gain support to have this issue resolved. Hopefully someone that actually cares about the Audi brand and their promise of excellent after sales services contacts me. My details are on the Audi system. I bought the car brand new from Audi in November 2011. On the 3rd day I had a serious clutch shudder and was informed Audi where I have always taken my car, that it was due to my driving style. I took the car in 40 times to the dealership (as per my tracker records 0) in total to have the clutch issue address, gearbox issue and oil consumption issue, and kept getting told there was no issue. Eventually after almost having numerous accidents due to the inability to put off from robots and standing starts, I went to Audi and offered to pay to have them remove my gearbox and clutch to find the issue at my own expense and only then did they drop the gearbox and clutch, only then did they pick-up. I quote that my clutch was worn. This statement does not make sense as I have been experiencing this since day 3 after receiving my brand new car and I believe the statement made that it was my drive style was a lie. This process took almost 4 years. They informed me that my model does not actually have any sensors to pick up this issue, it is a manual. So I dont know how they could tell me that no issue was found. At 8000 km they change a major gear part in my gearbox and I was not informed of this nor was I allow to request a fix, replacement or repair. Most recently, my cars ecu unit on the steering wheel was showing errors on my dashboard. Audi Burma stated that they could find no evidence of this, even after a I showed them a video of the issue. Nor did they inform me to be careful as this affects my abs, which put my life in danger. On the evening that I collected my car from Audi which they had for a week, I notice a loud knocking noise on my front suspension. I took the car to Audi as no longer trusted that Audi branch they found my steering arms were damaged, required replacement. I was informed by that they were so warm I could have had a serious accident had I continued to drive. So this car was release by the dealership and no any quality check done is beyond me so this is the third time Audi has put my life as risk.I have proof that my car was at the dealership 40 times in four years yet there are only 8 job cards created, no explain has been offered for this nor after at least 30 requests to have the original job cards, nothing has been forth coming. During this period I had informed the dealership of excessive high oil usage starting in early 2014. They ran test (so they told me) but refused to show me the results and said there was no issue. I took my car to a different dealership, they ran the same tests and found that indeed my car was using an excess amount of oil and recommend that my engine be rebuilt as per Audi technical papers. This test was done 4 weeks prior to my maintenance plan running out. Now the dealership refuses to rebuild my car and has delayed the whole process till after my maintenance has expired. When I query this, they say Sorry your car is out of maintenance plan and I must pay for the repair.Audi customer care in south Africa has been informed of all these issue and have all the recordings of the conversations, yet they will not do anything to assist me. I was promised a meeting with the regional after sales manager. He contacted the branch and then refused to meet with me. So clearly if a customer complains they simply ban you from the premises and then hope you will go away. I have this in an office letter from Audi customer services. I have never in my life ever heard of this happening to anyone. Currently I still have a broken gearbox which was first reported to Audi in 2013 and excessive oil usage problems. Therefore, I ask that someone with authority get involved as the customer service department refuses to supply me with management contact details and messages left for customer service manager go unreturned.

Car failed the oil consumption test in April 2016 full rebuild of engine followed. Never ran right since. Have been back 4 times with cylinder 3 misfire code. Dealer changed Coils, injectors. New spark plugs. Now Im told it is carbon build up on the intake valves, and it needs to come apart again to clean the valves. They had it apart 3 times and no mention of carbon. Carbon build up is called contamination so the extended warranty policy I purchased from them (Fidelity) does not cover this. Fuel injector cleaner, like Sea Foam will prevent this if used periodically. This is not mentioned in any Maintenance schedule. Lost all faith in the Audi mechanics I had my local mechanic de-carbon the valves with NO results 78,000 miles on the car and I am at a loss. Lemon laws dont cover it. Next step is NY AG and small claims.
