Audi has all kinds of things: sedans, SUVs, cross-overs. Most of them have a sporty slant - and is not worth it unless youre buying a sports car. It’s the standard size for a coupe. You can customize the interior, wheels, paint color and entertainment but there isnt anything spectacular. They’re a higher class of automotive, but nothing really stands out against the other people theyre up against.

I have purchased an Audi A6 2.7TDI in May 2010. The details of vehicle are as follows: Vehicle Type : AUDI A6 2.7 Tdi. Makers Name : Audi India. Fuel used : DieselThe vehicle is giving trouble continuously since the same was purchased in 2010. We furnish below the list of some of the major defects we noticed. The vehicle was sent for repairs to Hyderabad. 1. Water leakage problem occurred in September 2010, and the water pump was replaced with a new one. 2. The belt of the alternator was found to be broken. 3. Steering jam problem. 4. Brake problem was noticed after repairs en route; for example, Hyderabad to Nagpur. 5. Front wind shield cracked and replaced in October 2011. 6. Servicing and minor repairs in June 2012 at Nagpur workstation. 7. Fuel line problem occurred immediately after servicing at Nagpur workstation.8. During the past, the vehicle was stranded en route twice in the span of 2 years.First of all, in September 2010, we found some defects. The same was communicated to Audi India for the defects in the vehicle were water leakage, defective alternator, and defective steering jam. The vehicle was sent to Olympus Motors Private Limited, Hyderabad for repairs. While communicating the defect to you, I had already notified to please note I cannot pull on with such problems often & often in a new vehicle with only 7000 km of run. I am very much disturbed with problems like this, and as such, request you to kindly take back the vehicle, which is running with all these manufacturing defects. The vehicle was sent to Hyderabad for repairs for four times, but the problems in the vehicle continued. In addition to the above, some brake system failures were generated en route from Hyderabad to Nagpur, which was again repaired by Audi technicians, who came all the way from Hyderabad to Nagpur for these repairs. In October 2011, a crack was noticed at the left corner of the front windshield which gradually developed and was then replaced with a new front windshield by your Hyderabad-based workstation. However, every time, the vehicle needs to be sent to Hyderabad and received back at Nagpur in a closed van. The cost of transportation of Rs. 80,000 was incurred by us for replacing front windshield glass worth Rs. 40,000.The vehicle was continuously giving us trouble and was required to be sent to Hyderabad for repairs 4 times, but the list of the problems continue to be growing even today, though the same was sent for regular servicing and timely repairs at your authorized service stations. The vehicle continued to be out of order for some or the other reason. This vehicle was sent for servicing at your Nagpur-based workstation for servicing in the end of June 2012. Some or the other small manufacturing defects lead me to rethink about my decision of purchasing the vehicle and more particularly Audi-made vehicles. The manufacturing defects crop up every time and lead to dissatisfaction. After servicing the vehicle, some problem of fuel pump choke-up cropped up; and the vehicle was detained for about 20 days at the Nagpur workstation for getting certain spares. The net effect was that the vehicle remained idle for no fault of us, even if the same was sent for servicing on time. The vehicle is again sent for repairs on 21.07.2012, since the diesel leakage problem was noticed in the vehicle. It appears that the diesel tank was improperly fitted or alignment must have been disturbed. It is noted that the vehicle traveled for 30,431 km till date and remained with continuous problems with such a short run. I am very much perturbed and dissatisfied by the everyday problems in the vehicle. I therefore request you to kindly take back the vehicle. It is regretted to state that I am sorry to continue to own this vehicle any more, and therefore, Im inclined to request you to kindly take back the vehicle and refund us the cost I had already paid along with interest thereon at 18% per annum.

My 2010 Audi Q5 3.2L has a carbon buildup problem that was covered under a 10 year, 120K mile extended warranty due to an Audi created defect. I was NEVER notified by Audi of this problem or the extended warranty. I started to get a CEL over a year ago and my local mechanic tried to resolve the problem multiple times, even replacing air flow parts but it never resolved. I paid the $180 at the Audi dealer to get a full diagnosis and they confirmed the carbon buildup problem. But they wont fix it because I confirmed this issue 2 MONTHS after the 10 year mark (and only 75K mileage) even though the problems started well before. The company has NO GOOD WILL and DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY. It will cost me over $2000 to clean the carbon out -- a known defect that Audi created and now WILL NOT MAKE GOOD ON. It is obvious that they created the problem but they even tried to blame my mechanic for the problem since they dont know what the mechanic might have done to my vehicle. GOOD JOB AUDI -- PASSING THE BLAME ONTO YOUR CUSTOMERS. BUYER BEWARE. I am disgusted at their lack of consideration.

I bought an Audi Q7 from Audi Alto Pennant Hills and also bought extended warranty. The car has been sent back for repairs more than 3 times and still there is the same problem or new problem. The AUDI Mechanics are either poorly trained or totally not professionally qualified. Each time it is so hard to speak to someone from the service department. Every phone call, the receptionist will give an excuse that All the servicemen are on the driveway or not on their desks. I have called them 5-6 times each day just to leave my number and no one calls me back.I have to CALL and CALL! I even have to ask my friends to try calling to reach the Service Department and they too experience the same problem - leaving their phone numbers and no one call back at all. Funny thing is that I am a car owner of a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Fiat, Mercedes-Benz and unfortunately this AUDI Q7 which is definitely the WORST purchase I ever made in my life. I have never encounter any problems with my other cars at all. I will never buy another AUDI in my life again as the AUDI brand and reputation has been seriously tarnished. BAD and POOR customer service. Do not buy from AUDI ALTO PENNANT HILLS unless you want to be disappointed by faulty cars and poor service by their mechanics. Extremely disappointing!!!

I purchased a Certified Pre Owned Audi A8 with 17K miles. Audi claims they have a 300 point checklist and vigorous standards for accepting vehicles in to the program, for which there is usually a premium to pay. When I received my vehicle, it was immediately very evident, while the car was still on the transport truck that it had been in a serious accident. The entire drivers side of the vehicle had been repaired and repainted. There are still creases in the front and rear door. The paint is mismatched. Sand marks are still visible under the paint. The windshield was replaced with the incorrect windshield so the heads up display does not function properly. One tire had extensive damage and was plugged adjacent to side wall. I was advised not to drive the vehicle with that tire by our local Goodyear Tire Center. There is paint overspray on the instrument cluster and dash that simply will not come out. I can continue on - the car is a mess. The dealer isnt responding so I called Audi. My customer care experience with Audi has been atrocious. They have absolutely no concern that one of their dealers sold a car as certified but didnt check the simplest of items. The damaged tire alone should have precluded the car from being certified. The first person from Audi Customer Care that I spoke to ask me so what do you want Audi to do? Well, I guess that about sums it up. They fight tooth and nail to escalate the problem to management, and when they said they would - i had to call them back, Its been nearly three weeks. I advise you to stay away from Audi Certified Pre Owned vehicles. They program isnt worth the paper it is written on. Ive purchased CPO BMWs and Porsches in the past and had fabulous experiences. Audi just doesnt measure up. Im embarrassed that Ive allowed myself to be taken advantage of this way, and Im furious that Audi just doesnt care.

Audi covers about every market in variety from compact to SUV to sport. No trucks and thats ok. Waiting to see them advance with newer electric technologies. Audi is stylish, performs like a dream and has some of the sexiest designs. If you cant at least admire an Audi by its appearance then try its performance. ;) Their upgrade and personalization options were great... plenty of options. They could expand on selections but the array provided was satisfactory. I was happy with my choices but could always use improvements. I have a 4dr A6. Its just fine... all their cars within the classes are pretty comfortable. Looked at everything and space for capacity wasnt really an issue. Just purchase towards your needs. Dont buy a 2dr with a family with kids.

I initially bought an Audi because of their quality and excellent engineering. However, I dont believe I will ever purchase another automobile from this manufacturer again. At 60000 miles my MMI system experienced a complete failure. The Navigation display would not come up, the radio wouldnt work, the navigation system completely failed. I took the car to the dealer here in Denver and was told the 5F MMI component would have to be replaced. Cost of the part $2200, $400 for labor. To say the least this is outrageous. Needless to say I am done with Audi, they are obviously not the reliable luxury cars I thought they were. Save your money! Dont patronize.

In winter 2016 I have bought brand new 2017 Audi A4 Premium Plus for 47k. It was this new version with cool digital gauges and new technology. It was rather exciting. I was thinking at the time that this small luxury sedan was worth the money. Then in December 2020, I got the message that my car doesnt support any more Google maps and from December 31 will stop working. Really after 3 years my car is obsolete and exciting feature that I have chose this car for is no longer available. I have contacted dealerships right away to see if I can upgrade my car, but answer was no, and I should probably get a new or newer Audi in order to have that ability. So 4 years after I cough up 47k for this Audi and planning to keep it in the family for longer, this car lost one of features that was their top selling point. I had a numbers of Audi cars so far in my life A4, A6, Q5 and Q7. I can tell you one thing. I will never ever again buy a Audi. It is like throwing away you money for something that will be obsolete in 3-4 years. Really sad from company that I had a the time on top for my vehicle needs.

Audi has always been the talk for passion, brand, status, and icon in China. However, when it comes to after-sales support and repair in Audi 4S workshop, they are the least trustworthy partners to go for. My vehicle was sent in for major repairs after a serious accident. Estimated damage came close to USD16,000.00. According to Audi 4S China, most items will be newly ordered and replaced. But to my surprise, all items were dismantled, badly reworked, poorly repainted, and installed as new. The vehicle was so badly repaired that some area is out of proportion. My assessment of this repair is only between USD 3,200.00-4,800.00. What a broad daylight robbery in Audi 4S China. I hereby humbly request Audi Germany to look into this matter urgently, as I believe Audi Germany and worldwide do not practice such disgusting custom. Please do not hesitate to contact me for details - photographs and repair information.

Dear Customer Care, I am an AUDI A6 User and would like to express my view
Dear Customer Care, I am an AUDI A6 User and would like to express my view how AUDI INDIA is and how their Service center and how they are malfunctioning and ruining the name of Audi. I have been using the Audi A 66 past 7 years which is now 86000 kms been running but now the service centres are just malfunctioning the customers with very high price, making problems in the car and then expressing then the said parts needs to change or else they cannot do any thing.Audi India has created a customer which is just for a name sake and cannot do anything. The name says as customer care which means for customer but they are saying the words of Service centres and nothing else and also one of the executive told me he cannot do anything. Then why Audi India has created a CUSTOMER CARE. Its better you remove that and close that customer care and make it customer information centre.I sent my car for a regular service and on the receipt of the car after service i noticed that an error is showing on my cluster which says oil level is low so i immediately complained the service centre and asked them that you charged me for the oil change etc but why it is showing which was not showing earlier. Then they took the car back and after 5 days they said I need to pay Rs. 125000 to change the cluster so I am so upset that it was not there before service and after they service they deliberately make the programming in such a way that this error showing and now make money from the customer. At the outset so called customer care is also cannot do any thing. After my complaint the service team relation ship manager is calling me and saying that this error was there past one year and now showing. Is it possible? Also she is claiming that we can get it verified but the question is from where can i verify this? When i ask the same question to Audi India customer care they also says what the service centre says is right. What does this means, as I have all the rights to make sure what the problem is and get it verified but there is no answer with any one.It seems nobody at AUDI wants to address the concern and leave the customer at a mercy that either I pay or get rid of the problem or i close the issue. This is the kind of service level AUDI INDIA is doing and your dealers are killing the Audi India Image. I wish i wouldnt have purchase the Audi and it is my worst decision to buy Audi Car now. I am not going to recommend this car to any one and will also put on all the forums so that all the future buyers should understand the After sales service support that Audi India has. I also wish i would have been in Europe or USA where the law is such that the Audi India has a responsibility to answer. This is it. Thanks. Jai **

This review is about Audi Canada and dealers In Toronto. I purchased a 2010 demo S5 in 2019 and I have not had a consecutive 6 months or more without this lemon of a vehicle breaking down. From new transmission to all sorts of electronic fixes, the radio, buzzing sounds, catalytic converter, windows, clutch, coolant reservoir, etc. etc., the most incredibly annoying is that I am on my 7th (yes, SEVENTH) thermostat replacement - the first 5 by Audi and under warranty and the last 2 on my dime! When attempting to have them recall this part and or compensate me for 6 (and ongoing) failures of the same part, they basically told me theyre not responsible. Comically, one set of thermostat had to be replaced only days after Audi Midtown installed a new one. This was my first and last Audi! Never Again!

I have a 2010 Avant 4 Audi wagon that has had persistent, unresolved issues
I have a 2010 Avant 4 Audi wagon that has had persistent, unresolved issues from day one, up to the point that my car, at just 4 years old, is now mechanically failed unless a new engine is put in to the tune of $15,000. I have been meticulous with maintenance on this car. From day 1, oil consumption has been an issue - was told that it was within specs (a quart every 1,000 miles - really?) - until an oil/pressure test was performed, which my car failed. Piston/rings were replaced, which still did not ultimately resolve the issue. Lost complete power in the car while driving a highway speeds (no steering, no brakes, black dashboard - in rush hour traffic) - could have been seriously injured. Towed again to Audi, which many hundred dollars later was told the problem should be resolved, but cant guarantee the repairs. One month later, car shuts down again while driving, with alarms to turn engine off - low oil pressure. AGAIN, towed to Audi - told to replace camshaft bridge and replace oil pump (almost $2,000 MORE) - only to be told that the low oil pressure light continues to come on, and the only recommend now is to replace the engine to the tune of $12,000-$15,000. Which is ridiculous. The KBB street value is nowhere near what has been invested in repairs in this car. I was told We understand your frustration, but the only thing Audi (national) can/will offer is to double the customer loyalty discount IF I buy a NEW Audi from this dealer, and my car has little to no value without the engine. I am without a car, and cant get my car back unless I pay for the $2,000 that didnt resolve the problem. It seems reasonable to me that a car, built on performance and truth in engineering should last longer than 4 years, particularly when properly maintained as mine has been. Further, dependability in a car is an assumed concept that Audi touts in ALL their media. I would further expect BOTH Audi and the dealership to stand behind their cars, but all I get is We understand your frustration, and these issues are no fault of your own, though I have to pay for them. The service department admits that my car has a history of repairs way beyond the normal range for an Audi, but theres nothing they can, or will do. I clearly have a poorly engineered car, that cant be driven, and is virtually worthless. I CANNOT believe Audi (national as well as the dealer) wont stand behind a badly produced car, and rectify a bad situation.

Purchased Audi Q7 2017 from Farmington Dealer. Around 600 miles, I was hearing lot of noise from the passenger side wheel. Had gone to the dealer about the noise and they said since it was new and they did a visual inspection, Later this continued several occasions. Finally at 5000 miles, they asked me to go for a long drive, which I did, at 9000 miles. They said it is the problem with the tires and they need to be replaced, so had contacted the dealer and German Audi. Instead of replacing the tires they offered to replace 2 tires and rest two tires I have to pay from my pocket. I sent some emails to Audi of Germany but they fell into deaf ears. This shows their excellence in Testing and launching the vehicle. I am selling my Audi q7 as I dont have any faith in the German engineering (Audi), also suggest not waste your valuable money on imported cars and be a American. German Engineering = Blown Engine at 130K. Im very disappointed with my experience owning a 2009 Audi A4. Ive owned the car for the majority of its life (starting at 20K miles) and had taken great care to perform regular maintenance. I had driven it carefully and loved the car (while it worked). However, at 50-60K I had massive oil consumption problems which Audi refused to believe were the cause of poor design. At 70-80K I had enough and called corporate (thanks to a suggestion from a mom & pop Audi mechanic, NOT Audi dealership) which replaced the piston rings for FREE and fixed my oil consumption. Then at 130K the engine finally blew, with no warning. I went to corporate with all of my maintenance records asking for help, since a normal car (not even talking LUXURY here) should last well over 130K miles. They led me along for 2 months, along with the dealership in Wilmington DE, and afterwards, quoted me an insane price for replacing the engine ($10k+), even with discounted labor. When I sent a detailed email to the North America CEOs (Audi & VW), they sent me to a rep who essentially said theyve done all their due diligence & fulfilled their responsibility by settling a class action lawsuit and refused to provide any kind of measurable assistance to me, personally. Too bad they never informed me of this lawsuit (despite me having problems during the time of the lawsuit), and I never received any kind of actual help from the company. I went through so much grief with this car, and all because of faulty engineering, which the company would not take responsibility for (settling a class action lawsuit, without informing me, is their definition of taking responsibility). They dragged me along for 2 months, while my car was rusting in my driveway. This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my nearly 30 years of existence. How anyone can claim this company is reliable (after this lawsuit, after their emissions scandals, and specifically after the way they treated me) is beyond me. I will never buy an Audi (or VW, at this point) again... And I will make sure to tell my story for the rest of my life, working in Corporate Finance (Audis target market). Because this CAN and WILL happen to you. The same engine issues the 09-11 A4s had, the 2017 A4 will probably have as well (since its a new engine design). And Audi doesnt care, because theyll just settle any upcoming lawsuit and pay that small percentage of claimants that were actually informed... And tell the others to go fly a kite. Much cheaper than actually standing up and holding yourself responsible for your poorly designed vehicles.

I drive a 2012 Audi TT RS. Life got in the way and the vehicle sat on my driveway (not running) for 540 days. During this time not a drop of water entered the vehicle cabin. BONE DRY!!! I finally got around to bringing the vehicle in for service. They replaced the battery, flushed the A/C, brakes and performed an oil change. They also performed an exterior and engine bay detail. Within 10 days the vehicle had 3 inches of water in the passenger side floor.I immediately called my dealership, Audi Sewell North Houston, and their response was, Oh, yeah I know what is going on. This is common on the Q5. Apparently there are two drain holes in the engine bay just below the windshield to allow water to drain out of the engine bay. These drains WERE NOW CLOGGED. The dealerships response was that they must have been clogged before. I find this assertion ludicrous as it SAT ON MY DRIVEWAY FOR 540 DAYS WITHOUT A DROP OF WATER IN IT!!!I took the issue to their GM, Jackson **, and he basically told me the exact same story I got from service. Which means he did no actual work and just regurgitated what he was told from service. I then took the issue to Jacquiline **, managing director, who did not get involved. I then took the issue to Audi of America who again repeated what the GM and service tech told me. So, I am stuck filing a claim with my insurance and having a vehicle with diminished value to flooding and both Sewell and Audi refuse to accept any responsibility. If you value your money I would stay as far away from both Sewell and Audi as possible.

I own an Audi A4 Quattro that with less than 60.000 miles started with a metallic sound from the front wheels, it turned out that the bearings had to be replaced... I had a extended warranty which Audi refused to honor. It is very disturbing that a company that is so proud of their 4-wheel drive would have such premature problems with their wheel bearings. To add insult to injury, the dealer had not updated the history of the car with the repairs done, the brand said there must have been internet problems. To me, it seems like a deliberate effort to hide problems that may affect other owner, which is the reason I am posting this complaint to ConsumerAffairs.

Just serviced my 2013 A4 at AUDI Santa Monica dealership. Probably the worst experience had with them, they overcharged me by almost $300 (Paid ~$615 while last service was the same and it cost me ~$300, Service Rep claimed that last time workload was less than this time which is not true), been a hectic week for me so had no energy to argue with someone who is probably not responsible. My coolant light sometimes turns on and I have been to that dealership 3 times while car was UNDER WARRANTY to fix this issue and every time I was assured it was fixed and the issue never got fixed. Been regularly servicing my car over there (Have done all required services with Audi) during this period but I was informed that I need to pay an abnormal fee since there is an issue with the coolant pump and parts need to get replaced and it wont be UNDER WARRANTY since it is a new issue which is not the reality (Paperworks proves my statements). Had the same issue with my brakes, no one ever mentioned to me that my brakes have issues (Been following companys guidelines and scheduled maintenance) so now it is going to cost me ~$1K to fix. It is smarter to not go after $300-$1K more for someone who can potentially be your repeat client and make you more money than the change these service departments are after. (I know this since I am a Business Analyst.) Please educate your dealerships on how to run a business. GOODBYE AUDI FOREVER, from now on will take my car to a reputable decent mechanic. Will never also purchase another AUDI in my life.

My 2014 Audi A6 TDI Prestige is an absolutely great car, except for the leather driver’s seat stretching and getting dye transfer from clothing less than 2 months from purchase. While other luxury cars, with light colored interiors, do not suffer from dye transfer - the 2014 Audi does. I consulted independent leather experts that informed me that the aniline leather treatment method (dyes probably from Asia) experience problems. This is not as bad as leather stretching and looking aged/worn after 2 months. The sign of a great company is not that they are 100% problem free, but rather the way that issues are handled. I was looking for a win/win situation after buying 5 new Audis, but rather experienced total frustration with our 5th purchase.Overall, Audi builds a really great car - but, Audi of America customer service is terrible. In our free market economy, the result is Audi is losing a paying customer. Sad and a pity, but dealing with Audi of America has shown my wife and me that they really dont care about after sales customer satisfaction. We are only writing about our experience and resultant decision to not buy Audi products in the future. For the readers of this review, we can only highlight our saga and ask that you draw your own decision. Thanks.

My Audi ownership experience was pretty frustrating and ultimately a big disappointment. I bought a 2012 A6 from the Audi Exchange in Highland Park, IL. The vehicle supposedly had undergone a thorough 300+ point dealer inspection process; one so exhaustive that no other manufacturer can lay claim to a more thorough Certified pre-owned inspection process. Wow, sounded impressive. So, imagine my surprise when, not long after I purchased my car, I learned that it had been in a serious accident and the repairs had not done to spec. I contacted the Audi Exchange about it. At first they denied any knowledge of the accident. But when I brought the car in to be examined, they did admit to knowing about the damage. However, they just hemmed and hawed and said they didnt think the work looked *too* bad. Bottomline: they said you bought a used car and that was it.I contacted Audi of America figuring they would intervene. But, to my surprise, all they did was send me a canned thanks for sharing your concerns response and I never heard from them again. So much for the pledge to do everything we can to keep the dream alive by offering you an ownership experience that rivals even those of the most exclusive clubs in the world. I keep getting marketing mail from Audi encouraging me to come by and check out new models. Uh, no thanks. I would rather walk than buy another Audi.

Very long story but in summary, 2012 Audi Q5 has faulty timing chain tensioner (known issue) which causes catastrophic engine failure costing over $10,000.00 to fix. Audi dealership has been great trying to help but are obviously hindered by Audi America in assisting. Audi consumer affairs department literally chuckled when my wife was explaining the situation and said things could always be worse and would should be thankful that they are helping at all. When we requested that the case be escalated, we were told we were at the highest level already and nothing else could be done. A real shame, we have two VW/Audi cars currently and have had many in our families over the years. If this is the end all be all decision in this matter... These will certainly be the last 2 VW products we will ever own. Very disappointing... The Q5 has been my wifes favorite car and my GTI has been my favorite... Could be the end of our loyalty to the brand.

On the 18th September 2011, I attended their showroom at Audi Centre Sydney and inspected the above vehicle. The following date on the 19th September 2011, I purchased the vehicle from them at a price of $28,000. I was never at any stage offered by the salesperson (George **) to test-drive the vehicle and was only told that Audi Centre Sydney had thoroughly checked the vehicle. After having taken delivery of the vehicle, I immediately noticed the Gearbox of the car had problems. Also, the brake was scratchy when I applied it.Two weeks later, I called Audi to have the vehicle looked at. One of their technicians drove the vehicle and agreed that there was a problem with the gearbox and the brake that would need couple days to rectify the problems. Upon consultations with **, Head of Service Department, my vehicle was booked in for the 14th November 2011 as a loan car became available then.On the 14th November 2011, I was given a loan car but returned it the very next day because the loan car carries a hefty $3,300 accident excess, which I found uncomfortable but on the same day, I was informed to pick up my vehicle as it required a new modified clutch to rectify the problem. However, the new modified clutch would not be available until the New Year 2012 and I was advised to contact him in January 2012.As requested, I made contact with ** in the first week of January 2012 only to be told that the new modified clutch had to be ordered from Germany first. Why wasnt the new modified clutch ordered sometime after the 14th November 2011? **, Head of Service Department informed me that the new modified clutch would be available in Australia by the middle of February 2012. Accordingly, the vehicle was booked in for the 28th of February 2012 to have the works completed to rectify the problem. However, on the 27th of February 2012, I received call from Ryan in the Service Department informing me that the new modified clutch had not yet arrived due to the new modified clutch has not been released yet and so the scheduled time of the 28th February 2012 was cancelled. In addition, they were not certain when the new modified clutch would arrive.I immediately called **, Head of Service Department, and was told that the new modified clutch may not be available until the end of March or early April with no certainty of the delivery date. In addition to this whole saga, I have been offered by **, Head of Sales Department to pay $5,000 for a replacement vehicle which I find totally unacceptable as I would not spend any more money on a product I do not have any confidence in or else wait for the new modified clutch seemingly indefinitely. As we are now in April 2012, nearly seven (7) months after having purchased this vehicle from Audi Centre Sydney at a price of $28,000, the present position is totally unacceptable. Having regarded to the fact it would seem that the vehicle was defective from the time of sale, the only satisfactory outcome to this drawn out frustrating period is that I return the vehicle to them and receive full refund of $28,000 that I paid for this faulty vehicle. If I have not received their immediate response within seven (7) days from this email to my satisfaction, I will lodge the matter with the Consumer, Trader and Tenancy Tribunal under the Motor Vehicle Division for their determination.

Ive had my 2013 Audi allroad for 8 years, it currently has 112000 miles. Its always been serviced and repaired by Audi. 25k miles ago I started to need to top up oil between services. Audi then stated that this was normal. I didnt really believe that and started to do some research on my own and found that the early TFSI engines 2008-2012 have an inherent design fault which leads to high consumption of oil. **Gradually the problem got worse and during a service when I yet again made them aware of the issue and my research findings, they said the turbo was burning oil and needed to be replaced before they could do anything. This was done and $4k later my car was still burning oil. Problem got worse and worse. At 1 qrt every 600 miles Audi said that the abnormal use was due to a leaking top cover gasket and they could not do anything until this issue was corrected. I made them aware that the engine bay would have been full of oil if the top cover gasket was to blame but went ahead to fix the gasket at the same time as the timing chain was replaced. The problem still remained. I have now spent yet another $1k to perform a oil consumption test which concluded that the car is now using 1 qrt each 200 miles! Which is everything else but normal. Audi finally says that the piston rings need to be replaced and because the car is now out of warranty I have to pay for everything out of pocket!!!The fact that Audi from day one blamed everything else and asked me to spend premium $ to fix whatever they said was the issue instead of taking responsibility for their faulty engines is ridiculous and everything else but premium. Its so savage and ruthless to bleed your customers of money knowingly that there is an issue with the engines. This is not what I expect of a premium car company. Whoever is considering of ever buying or owning a new or used Audi please think twice!

This is my fifth Audi. The first 3 were great, but the 4th went back under the Texas lemon law. This Q8 is one repair away from doing the same, and thats a shame. Its sporty, powerful, handles better than youd think an SUV could, the interior is magnificent - best execution of a touch screen EVER. But its full of many of the same electronic gremlins that sent my A8 back: incredibly intrusive electronic nannies, the adaptive cruise is simply unusable, sometimes the seat memory works, most of the time it doesnt. And my personal favorite are windshield wipers that activate on their own for no apparent reason. There are far too many good choices on the market to put up with this expensive aggravation.

My car is a 2004 3.0 Liter A4, with mileage around 250,000 km. While driving 60 kph, the oil warning light flashed and the engine quit. I thought it was the timing belt but when the mechanic took the heads out, he discovered the engine seized up due to thick sludge that clogged the oil filters, starving the top part of the engine damaging the heads. The timing belt was not broken but stripped. The engine had to be replaced.I found one 2005 A4 which had the exact same problem of oil sludge but in better shape. The repair cost over $7,000. I submitted a claim to Audi Canada but was denied. The reason was the oil sludge warranty extension covers up to 10 years, but mileage limit is 190,000 km. I was told this warranty extension was issued in June 2011. In the U.S., the same program has been in place since 2004 and there is no mileage limitation; however it covers only 1.8T engines from 1997 to 2004. Why is Audi Canada only offering the oil sludge warranty extension only in 2011, 7 years later compared to Audi America? Why are we Canadian owners not provided with the advisory? Anyone with oil sludge problems with 3.0 liter engine? Please email **. Im planning to take action against Audi Canada for not providing and advising owners the oil sludge warranty extension advisory.

There is a decent amount of variety available if you are looking for something that fits with the Audi image. Most people are familiar with the models Audi has put out. The car I ended up getting in the end was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Its a pretty standard car size with a pretty standard passenger capacity. Carries four people comfortably, five if you stick someone in the middle in the back. Most of the extras I wanted came standard, and there were a few more things I hadnt thought about that were really appealing and I couldnt pass them up. I was able to personalize my choice in all the ways I had hoped to. Cars have gotten so fancy these days that its almost impossible to find a new car that doesnt come with a bunch of stuff standard that some people might not even want!

Repeated issues with carbon build-up which turns the engine indicator light on. Audi has cleaned the valves previously, at no charge to us acknowledging this problem and that it will likely recur. It has recurred, but now they want $1300 to remove the engine for a thorough cleaning. 2009 was the first year for the Q5 and a fair solution would be to recall this car or take care of the cost for this recurring problem. Audi has declined any further assistance. We will never purchase an Audi again.

The rugs were all weather and it was great in the snow. It had the S line which is a faster model and better options on the inside of the vehicle. I would of liked it in white but they did not have it. But it fit about 7 people good. 2 in the front and 4 in the back. My kids loved this vehicle. It drove everyone around perfect. I leased an Audi A6 and turned it in one month early pull ahead lease for S5. Don’t get me wrong I love the actual car but the service has been a nightmare. Charging me so much money 5 months after I turned the car in. Trying to charge for excise tax that I paid but they applied to the actual car payments. In doing so when I did pull ahead deal instead of it looking like I had a car payment left it looked like I owed excise tax. After many calls and hours of my life I’ll never get back they acted like they figured it out. I made a pay off turn in settlement for the extra miles and thought it was over. Then I get a bill for excise tax in the mail. When I try to explain to the specific department they tell me they just received this bill from my city. I called the clerks office and they told me the excise tax for the A6 was sent in April 2018 and they are trying to make me pay it in April 2019. They lied over and over and after making the previous settlement and really still trying to collect excise tax I already paid them. Now I have to spend all kinds of time trying to get this dealt with, and no one will just make good on it. I was told BMW service is phenomenal... And I honestly wish I leased with someone else. Lesson learned... Never again.

The car is constantly in for service. 25 trips to dealer in 4 years. Towed 6 times. AC at 3k broke, door handle for $600, Audi lied about oiling issue, and after national class action, they did a poor job of repairing motor. Timing chain sent 3 codes while under warranty and they cleared and sent us home. At 28k/98k miles, the timing chain failed and the engine repairs were $14k... Audi did not handle our requests very well. After a lot of patience, they only offered to sell us another Audi. Only to say our $50k car was worth $5500 with 98k miles. Audi makes great vehicles that are fun to drive. Audi Financial Services is destroying that brand with Wells Fargo-like customer service. Audi Financial Services has wrongfully repossessed my vehicle and inflicted emotional pain on my family. We have kept our word and done everything we promised including making monthly payments and keeping up insurance and taxes and registrations. We have leased and then purchased two luxury vehicles from Audi. We previously leased an Audi A6 and then purchased that vehicle at the end of the lease by signing paperwork and simply continuing to make payments until it was paid in full and transferred to us. At the end of our lease for our new Audi Q5 we received a letter and email informing us of the option to purchase the vehicle. We called Audi Financial Services in February of 2016 and the sales person outlined the terms of the buyout. After we agreed upon that he described an option to add an extended warranty for $50 extra. I agreed to this. When I received the paperwork the next week the terms of the financing were exactly as agreed in the call, but the price for the warranty was $170/month. I tried to call Audi Financial services but was left on hold for stretches of 20 minutes or more. I took the action to simply mark out the additional extended warranty, which was a separate item, and signed the document agreeing to the finance payment for three years.I returned that document to them and began making my normal monthly payments, most of them higher than the required amount as I was paying down the purchase price. I made them without interruption for 16 months. I never heard from Audi. I never received an email, phone call or letter. Occasionally I would receive service options from the dealership, but no other communication. On July 21st, 2017 while I was in San Diego on business (at Comic Con), our car was taken in the middle of the night from our 3 and a half acre property. Damage was done to the driveway in the process. My wife and children were asleep only feet away from armed repo men. The next day my wife called me in a panic, saying that we had been robbed. I had her call the police. She went to our neighbors asking if they had seen or heard anything and put the entire neighborhood on alert for thieves. When the deputy sheriff came he said that it appeared to be consistent with repossession. This was the first point that we even thought to try again to talk to Audi. The sheriff noted that normally they would be notified that this action might take place and the owner of the vehicle would also have some notice so as not to be surprised and potentially end in shootings. When I started calling from San Diego I was placed on hold multiple times for an hour each time. When I was finally able to speak to people at Audi Financial Services they seemed confused, noting that they did have my phone, email and address and saw my payments in the system. I was placed on hold three times while they tried to sort out the confusion on their end. One representative noted that the only reason for repossession was either non-payment of insurance or non-payment of the monthly payment. I assured her neither was the case. After several hours I reached someone named Jasmine, who would not give her last name, who gave me the name of the repossession company who had taken the car. She said that the car had been “out for repossession for many months”. I asked why I had never been notified. She had no answer. The loyalty of fans I see at Comic Con should never be lavished on a company like Audi. Loathsome human beings.

I leased an A3 clean diesel from Audi Coral Springs in April of 2013 with the intention to buy if the car performed as well as the salesperson assured me it would. I was looking for a high performing car with significantly reduced emissions. I considered the Audi diesel, hybrids and electric cars. I chose a model that would no longer be available in the US (A3 clean diesel hatchback). There were only a handful available in the country and one of them was at Audi Coral Springs. Because I was set on this car and there were so few, I had no bargaining power and paid an enormous premium for the car. The leasing process itself was torture. The dealership had one printer and it wasnt working so the entire transaction took more than 4 hours. When the diesel emission fraud became public, I contacted the dealership and Audi USA. I was told over and over that the emission fraud was no big deal and that Audi owed me nothing. Basically I was told that Audi is handling this and that no one in the company could deal with my complaint. Audi has decided kill its brand and ensure that its customers go elsewhere. As for Audi Coral Springs... the personnel at the dealership were down right rude. I returned the car at the end of the lease only to be told that I had to sign a document that if anything happened to the car while in the hands of the dealer (the only place I could return it), I would be legally responsible for the damage. The document stated that I was required to maintain auto insurance on the vehicle until it was in the hands of the manufacturer which would take weeks to months. Ripped off a third time by Audi Coral Springs. I asked how I would know when to release the insurance and I was told not to worry about it. Needless to say, given Audis horrible, horrible customer service and casual attitude about defrauding the public, I will never drive an Audi again. I now have a Lexus hybrid and the experiences could not have been more different. One star for this dealership is really one too many.

In 2014 I had purchased a 2006 Audi A3 with 30,000 miles, with a clean title. It was great for the first year or so and once it hit 60,000 miles, I had absolutely nothing but problems. Around 60,000 miles, I was on the expressway, and my car started to jolt back and forth, that ended up being because the fuel rail sensor went bad. A couple thousand miles later, my alternator goes bad, without any warning, leaving me stranded. Shortly thereafter, I was on my way to class and I had a severe cylinder misfire. Mind you, this is all within less than a years time. After all of those issues were fixed, I thought everything that could have possibly broken was fixed. Next thing you know, my A/C is now only blowing cold air when Im going 80 MPH down the expressway and blowing hot air when its idling or going slower than 80. I also got my car scanned to see why the check engine light turned on again, and it turns out that I have another two cylinder misfires and my fuel pump is going bad. This car only has 70,000 miles on it and has had more problems than I ever imagined. I am beyond disappointed in Audi and the quality of their vehicles and how unreliable they are. I will most definitely not be purchasing another Audi or any German car for that matter.

Took my car at the appointed time (11 am) in for a full service (309) it was running perfectly well no faults whatsoever. They said the service would take about 1-2 hrs. I contacted Audi at 3 pm to say I was calling to collect my vehicle. They said the lady that dealt with you is just on the phone, Ill ask her to ring you back. I waited 20 mins, rang again, told them how long Id been waiting and want to speak to a manager. Again they said Ill get the manager to ring you straight back. 45 mins later and fuming I rang again. This time they said your car is just being washed now it will be about 15 mins. Now my car has a fault, its jerking and jumping as if it is being starved of fuel. I have just looked at the air filter and its. The one I put in 18 months ago, in my service book its (air filter) been ticked as replaced and crossed out and ticked as not replaced. So no new air filter, not even cleaned, fluids NOT topped up they said thats extra. So almost six hours for a service. I dont think a Boeing 747 would take that long. Bad service, certainly the longest, lied to several times. Get your service book stamped by any reputable garage. Audi is NOT all its cracked up to be very, very expensive and work NOT carried out.

I like the Audi R8 for the sleek design and makes me feel young again. The power behind the wheel is awesome. Life itself seems to stop existing when you jump on the highway. Very clean high-class interior. Comfortable heated and cooled seats for both summer and winter months. Purrs like a baby whilst idle. Good things for this brand. Always recommend upgrades. Better stereo system and bass boost. Get the heated seats and tinted windows. Really only meant for a two seater person vehicle but has a back seat.

Audi ruined my paint job. I purchased a 2002 Audi Q3 four wheel drive. I have had my car serviced at Fort Worth Audi. I have spent several thousands of dollars on my car for service at the dealerships. On 12/14/11, I took my car to the Audi dealership for an engine light check. The issue/complaint is that my paint on the car is ruined. I took the car in; it was serviced and it came out with white splotches. The car did not look like it does when I took it in. I have pictures of the car taken in July of 2011. It shows the cars paint as being spotless. I did have an accident where the right rear fender was run into. Audi is saying that the company which worked on the fender ruined the overall paint job of the car and that they are not liable. The issue is that I took the car in for service, the car was dirty but it did not have the white splotches. Audi services the car, washes the car and it comes out with white oxidized splotches all over the car. I spoke to the manager and he says he is not responsible for the problem. I will end up getting a lawyer to work out the issue. The Audi manager says the paint is just oxidized due to age of car. However, the car could not have oxidized in the 3 days it was at the dealership. Something happened at this dealership.

AUDI Q3 2016. Since the day I leased this vehicle, I am getting all these troubles and also got a safety recall. DAY 1: BRAKES went BAD. FIXED at Dealership at ROCHESTER HILLS, MICHIGAN. (Dealer said it was may because of bad shipment). And there was no compensation given to me. DAY 180: Safety Recalls. FIXED at Dealership at Ken GARFF, LEHI, UTAH. (Here was no compensation again). DAY 200: Tire Flats and Tire Expert (Not from AUDI) points out that Tire has torn out Heavily. Looks like Tire was not a quality one. Day 250: Windshield Breaks due to Temperature Pressure. (Wow what a quality again). DAY 260: Another Tire Burst in middle of road which should have almost lead to a major accident. (THIS HAPPENED SUNDAY 02/05/2017). (Total Miles 11500).Currently it is running on SPARE tire. I am just scared to touch the vehicle again. I have driven so many Cars and been driving for more than 5 years. But never had such a GREAT experience. That too with a NEW car which is still under warranty. DID AUDI has provided me very low quality tires and other accessories. These are costing me a ton to get it repairs... Does AUDI has nothing to do with it. This is ridiculous that after paying thousands, AUDI gives you such a quality car. WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW. If something happens to me, who is responsible. (I have good driving record since day 1).

@audiofficial @Audi @vw @etron_audi @bbb_north_america @bbcnews @newyorkermag @nytimes @washingtonpost The worst car company that exists, I have dealt with many higher end companies that have dignity, accountability & responsibility. My mom could have died at Audi’s hands, to this day they keep saying we need to pay for a diagnostics test for them to even consider trying to figure out why the engine started to go around 30k miles, we have had to put oil in the car weekly to date and the most serious debacle: the gas tank imploded in the back seat because of where it’s located the entire back area of the car became gas soaked slowly. Audi could have cared less and we had to pay for it, the mechanic who worked on it used to work for Audi...He said if anyone would have been near this car with a cigarette/match it would have exploded. Deplorable humans and company, #zeroaccountability for a very serious situation. I still have not heard back, only from the bots & robots that respond that WE NEED TO PAY FOR A DIAGNOSTICS TEST. Despicable company. #consumersbeware

I lease an Audi A3, 2018. Within 11 months the car starts to lose power, while driving the car would be going 65 miles then randomly drops to 5 miles then starts back up, in 20-30 seconds. Went to Audi with the problem. They can’t find the problem or mimic the problem so they have the car back. It did it again while driving on the highway??? The car lost power and the driver behind me, switch lane to avoid me and ran into another car. I brought the car to Audi for over 5 months, and nothing can’t be resolved. Spoke to Audi of America, spoke to Terice and she was trying to help me, then she told me the same thing Audi tells their customer, The problem can’t be mimic, so they can’t do anything about it. This is one of my worst experience with a Auto Company and I will get my lawyers involve.

Audi has horrible customer service reps that lie through their teeth. I was told I wouldnt be covered on a manufacturing defect because I didnt have a long enough loyalty history (That just means I havent given them enough money yet). When I asked how much money Ive spent with them so far, they had no idea and had to call me back after talking to my dealer. How can you rate my loyalty and not know how much Ive spent as your customer? The part I wanted them to fix was in the turbo, it costs $40.00 but the job runs $2,500 so I was looking for a discount on the incredible service charge. They didnt think it was worth it. Ill never buy another Audi again.

Car failed the oil consumption test in April 2016 full rebuild of engine followed. Never ran right since. Have been back 4 times with cylinder 3 misfire code. Dealer changed Coils, injectors. New spark plugs. Now Im told it is carbon build up on the intake valves, and it needs to come apart again to clean the valves. They had it apart 3 times and no mention of carbon. Carbon build up is called contamination so the extended warranty policy I purchased from them (Fidelity) does not cover this. Fuel injector cleaner, like Sea Foam will prevent this if used periodically. This is not mentioned in any Maintenance schedule. Lost all faith in the Audi mechanics I had my local mechanic de-carbon the valves with NO results 78,000 miles on the car and I am at a loss. Lemon laws dont cover it. Next step is NY AG and small claims.

There are lots of cars to select from. For example, cars range from SUVs to Sports Vehicles, like the Audi R8. Another very good vehicle to purchase would be the Q7. That SUV has everything a family needs to travel and not only is it good for traveling, it is very elegant too. All Audis offer all the newest and best technology up to date. They all have navigation, Bluetooth, etc. Most of the SUVs have sun roofs too. They are very beautiful from the inside and out. You can choose from no features, to all features. It gives you a wide option to personalize and and upgrade your vehicle. Another thing is that to upgrade it is very reasonable prices. The passenger capacity is also amazing. It has a very roomy passenger seat and backseat in the Audi Q7 and it still has lots of room in the trunk.

My cars appearance is very nice. I got the color that I specified. The dash in my car looks more like black wood. It has a built in CD player, GPS navigation system and digital display. Its so cool and easy to read for mileage and gas. I had pin stripping put on mine. I also got the digital panel and voice activated GPS which I love as Im bad at directions. Its so helpful. You can also add a DVD player inside or internet. Size wise, I wanted more roomy model because I have long legs. My Audi can fit 3 in the front, but that is a little cramped for space and does not leave much legroom. But you can easily fit 3 in the back seat with lots of leg room, and still ride comfortably in the back.

The Audi e-tron is an UNBELIEVABLE vehicle!! I would pay 300K for this vehicle. Its a high-end vehicle and is more than the typical SUV, but it is only twice the price, which means if one is willing to sacrifice a little for it, or work a second job, it can be purchased by an average family. Work a second job, and you can afford this vehicle. Yes, you need to work hard to have GREAT cars, but it is worth it, trust me!! :)

They had an absolute huge selection of family friendly vehicles for me to choose from, which made it a really hard choice to pick a specific vehicle. Each of the vehicles were spectacularly invincible looking. They had a really nice glow to them and caught the eye right away - of myself, my spouse, and my child. Seeing all the upgrades made me want personalization, and there were a lot of choices to personalize a vehicle of my choice - color, seating, doors, etc. Having a young child, safety is my number one feature to look for. Since I have a one year old and a newborn on the way, seating is a huge factor in my buying a car. So having at least a five-seater is mandatory and that was available which was nice.

I cannot find the words how unhappy we are with the customer service from Audi Financial services. Its mind boggling how a luxury automaker offers such a poor customer service experience from their financial services team. I was told that the only way to set-up auto pay for my lease was to call your 800 number for Audi financial services. After waiting on hold over 30 minutes I was cut off. I called back again and again with hold times so long it was extremely frustrating that it could take so long to get thru to a live person. Finally, after much wasted time, I reached an Audi financial services rep who sent me an Audi form which I completed. It included our correct checking account number and banking details so we could set-up a recurring automated monthly deduction from our checking account. It took many attempts to contact Audi Financial Services again to confirm Auto pay was set up which was a timely process since there was not a e-mail or internal confirmation of the payment details. Its extremely difficult to get a live person on the phone and your hold time are so long. Finally got Audi to confirm all was set up. Again after much time got confirmation auto pay also set up.I then received a past due statement, so again after so much time on hold, rep said I gave Audi incorrect checking account # so our monthly bill was not processed and we were past due on our account. Audi rep told me this was my mistake since I gave Audi incorrect checking account # even though I explained to Audi rep again that our Auto pay form went through with no issues on first payment. This went on and on, with no one from organization even thinking to check first to make sure that there was no mistake was on their end, before taking up much of my time to prove it.Finally, Audi rep admitted that they made a mistake and must have keyed in an incorrect account # different than the number on the form I provided for auto pay. They told me they would process it with correct # and assured me this would not happen again. Unfortunately, last week I again received another past due statement after I was assured this would not occur again. After spending a lot of time again trying to get thru to a person at customer service number, a rep said someone would call me back. Again, no one did or ever has as they promised they would. Since I got our first Audi, each month I spend so much time on the phone trying to have Audi employees careless mistakes rectified and there is no other phone number or higher level person to contact. I am left with the Financial Services 800 number and long hold times each time I am forced to make a call.Never have I ever experienced such horrible customer service with any company as Audi and been so unhappy with a product as I have been with Audi. Its shocking the lack of care with employees have for customer service, not to mention the on-going monthly headaches I have had due to Audi Financial Services incompetence. We have bought many luxury cars over the years. All offer good customer service. Those companies do what they say they will do. Its easy getting ahold of customer service with their 800 number and there are no issues with auto payment set-up or execution. It takes a lifetime to build a reputation (as Audi should know and recognize historically) and only a few minutes to lose it. Each month I waste so much time trying to correct their incompetent mistakes which still has not got resolved. I also told Aud I would like to return both cars to them since can not get issues resolved, no one cares and no one ever calls back as they promise they would.

As of 2020 this car is now 8 years old with 120K kms on it. In the last four years this car has had a number of issues that I have never experienced with much cheaper vehicles I previously owned. Lets see what went wrong... Ball bearings had to be replaced last year, both rear view mirrors -drivers and passengers sides have come unglued, now the coolant is leaking and the water pump needs to be replaced. The worst of all is that the car has been eating oil like crazy - needs to be topped off every 1000kms now - apparently it is due to the issue with the pistons on multiple vehicles but Audi is doing nothing about it. German engineering hasnt proven to be all that great. Sure the car feels nice to drive and handles well but considering the upper class it is not made well. Not buying another Audi again - the amount of issues and the cost of repairs are not worth the nicer interior and nicer handling than your average Mazda or Chevy.

I have never regretted anything more than my purchase of the 2019 Audi e-tron. The only upside is that I leased the thing and I am now anxiously counting down the next 33 months (2 more of which I likely wont even see the car), until I can get rid of it. We bought the car on December 30, 2019. I had the car a week and the entire back end lighting system failed. They had no idea what the issue was, so it took a few days to figure that out. Then, they had no replacement part, and no estimated time for when one would be received. Communication was awful and we had to beg for updates. Finally, my husband called Audi USA after multiple different stories from the service department, and told them if this is how this was going to be we wanted to get rid of the car. Magically, the light bar showed up to the body shop the next day! Had the car back two weeks, and someone rear ended me while sitting at a light. Not horrible damage, but not trivial either. Again, no freaking parts to fix the car, and no idea of when they might have any. Again, begging everyone for information and getting the run around. Another call to Audi USA and still no parts (they were able to find a few, but there are still several outstanding with no ETA). The car has been sitting at the body shop now since 2/13/20, and there is no end in sight. How, how do you sell a car and not have the appropriate parts to fix it??? No communication, no apologies for how awful the whole situation is. Basically, just a your out of luck attitude. Several people at my childs school have asked me about the car, and I have given them every awful detail, and have persuaded several to look for something, anything else!!!! So, I am now paying close to $1000 for an electric car that I cant drive and likely wont for a minimum of 3 months, and have the pleasure of driving a rental that I am filling with gas pretty much negating the point of the electric car. Thanks, Audi for literally the most awful service I have ever had the displeasure of paying for. Let me leave you with a wonderful piece of advice a college professor gave me in the event anyone from Audi reads this, Proper prior planning prevents poor performance.

I am writing this message to alert those of you who drive Audi Q7. Last Thursday, I escaped disaster when my Q7 brakes failed while I was driving. I by Gods grace saved ladies and kids who were on the road. Moved the gear from D to P after which it started to slow down and then stopped. I reported the incident to Audi dealer. They got the car towed, performed all the tests and told me that the brakes are fine. And they confirmed it through tests and road tests. I know they are hiding the truth because of Audis image but my conscience is not allowing me to keep quiet and let someone else be the victim of the same situation.

Got my 2017 Q7 in February of 2016 from Audi South Austin and took my car for issues to North Austin Audi. It sound like old truck.) and ash tray on the passenger doors dont close.Every time I call its hard to get an appointment which always is a minimum of 3 weeks out to 3 months. Even if I am lucky to take my car in nothing gets done except the excuses. They dont provide statuses. I have to call them to find out whether I am getting my car. I owned Acura before and I regret making this choice. I am very close to giving up this car as I am dreading the fact that it breaks down I have to deal with service nightmare. Is Audi building a few or more lemons and attempting to outrun their flawed
Is Audi building a few or more lemons and attempting to outrun their flawed automobiles with marketing dollars and by sweeping the (hopefully few) flawed machines under the rug? A search of these Audi forums disclose a number of late model A8L vehicles with similar problems and a lack of any candid acknowledgement by Audi that they intend to stand behind their product and make good on their promises and warranties.Apparently, Audi America is instead intimidating dealers, directing them to not touch the car or refusing to pay them for warranty repairs unless they buy into the deceit that is part of the game of concealing rather than admitting and resolving these recurring problems. I suspect that these problems may result from there being two classes of vehicles coming of the A8 assembly lines in Neckarsulm, Germany. The vehicles sold to Diplomats and dignitaries, limousine services, top Audi executives and engineers may receive vehicles built when the assembly line may move at one (slower) speed or the more awake shift employees, and the rest of us, well, we get a mixed collection of manufacturing oversights and defects, hopefully not too many in any one vehicle.I suspect there is also a schism between the engineers, mechanics and the bean counters as the integrity of the engineers and mechanics would almost certainly be willing to admit and resolve these nagging problems. What appears to have happened unfortunately is that the manipulator/managers have decided they can disguise the flaws, claiming as designed and suppress any information which would cause buyers to think twice before buying into a flawed brand.A specific issue here is a new vehicle purchased from Audi of Fairfield, in Connecticut last summer under the Audi European Delivery Program, delivered at the Ingolstadt, Germany factory in June, 2012 and subsequently driven around Europe and shipped to the USA and Connecticut. The vehicle was delivered in the USA in November 2012 at Fairfield, Connecticut.Repair requests have been made in Berlin, Amsterdam, Fairfield and in Vermont. As of the beginning of February 2013, Audi of America has now directed that two different Audi dealers not service or touch the car to implement any of the needed repairs. Audi of America appears to be gaming the Lemon Law system of requirements where a car has to be documented for three or four visits to the dealer to attempt repairs prior to invoking a state Lemon Law. This might also explain why several dealers in Europe had serviced the car and were requested in writing to address some of these issues, yet nothing was documented which would satisfy the lemon law requirements. Dirty pool!In summary: Seat sensor - airbag deactivation, outside mirror heat not working, tranny hard downshift when slowing, radio station refresh, cell phone loss of pairing - persistent, console rattle, door close/locks malfunction when cold, clunk (repeatable) on acceleration from stop, MMI system fails to play .wav and .flac files, interior headliner lights flicker, front suspension rattles on rough road, and intermittent seat belt warnings failure.Issues identified in detail:The front passenger seat disables airbag protection intermittently when 115-pound person is seated. It is a recurring issue since June. A mysterious knock/clunk behind the dash is evident on every acceleration from a complete stop. Probably caused by the motor mount or strut tower yet, buried deep behind the engine. It is a recurring issue since June.Since the transmission program changed in September, prior to US delivery, there is a hard downshift when slowing and when engaging reverse on a hill. It is worse than the original programming yet CT dealer and Audi America refuse to document what software version was installed at European delivery and what change was made in Connecticut after arrival in USA. It is a recurring issue since November. The central touch locking fails when weather is cold repeatedly during December and January. It is a recurring issue since November. Radio stations on MMI do not refresh when traveling from city to city, requiring changing to frequency mode selection and then dialing across the entire band to locate a station. It is a recurring issue since November.Bluetooth pairing with cell phone fails intermittently approximately 50% of the time, despite having replaced phone with an older model, for one on the Audi approved list. One cannot re-attempt pairing while driving due to safety interlock. It is a recurring issue since November despite software upgrade, which seems to be the catchall phrase without actually documenting what issues are designed to be fixed by each upgrade as is common practice in the computer, photo and network hardware industry. The MMI system fails to play .wav and .flac files despite assurances by the salesman that this functionality was part of the MMI as it was in a prior documented software versions. It makes no sense whatsoever to pay for a premium B&O sound system only to discover that the system only plays MP3 and other compressed files. Audi America staff went to the extreme to ask the salesman to search his email history for a paper trail of the (verbal) assurances and then had the salesman mysteriously forget and now denies having ever made such assurances. Dirty pool indeed.Other issues identified are: outside mirrors heating fails to melt ice or clear fog, persistent vibration / rattle in center console dashboard, interior headliner side lights flicker when set to dimmest level, front (left?) control arm(s) or strut rattles on rough road surfaces, car whoops when driving over any bump or speed bump after start - diminished after warm-up, and seat belt reminder warning sounds only work intermittently. All in all, the vehicle incorporates very impressive and even amazing design and engineering. The sad and inexcusable disappointment is the stance taken by Audi of America in their efforts to hide, disguise, deny and then frustrate repair attempts. Brad **, to be specific, is preventing this lemon from coming to the attention of CEO Keogh. This is so contrary to the fine tradition and integrity of the AUDI brand that some heads should certainly roll.[more about the numerous European Delivery Program fiasco to follow]

I purchased this car 4 years ago from a friend who purchased it new. It had around 4,000 miles when I got it and in 4 years I put roughly 10,000 miles on the car and serviced it regularly. At around 14,000 miles in June of this year the car started blowing an excessive amount of bluish smoke from the exhaust so I took the car in to the dealership thinking they over filled the oil during an oil change. After 3 weeks of back and forth they tell me it needs a head gasket to my complete amazement. I explained to them that is impossible considering the car has never over heated, never asked for coolant and always ran at the same temp but they insisted. I naturally went online and began combing through message boards blogs and reviews discovering that there has been many documented FACTORY defects in this type of engine and the only way to fix it is to replace the engine. I passed this information along to the local Audi dealer and they stated the FACTORY rep says this is the fix and after raising hell they charged me $600 and fixed it. After 2-3 weeks I get the car back and day 1 the same problem pops up again just as I knew it would so I called the Audi dealer and took the car back. Roughly 1 week after they had it I received a call from them to inform me the car needs a new engine to the tune of roughly $30,000 and of course I called Audi North America explained my problems and obvious anger and concern as to how my $150,000 car needs a new engine at 14,000 miles and they of course were super nice explained they will do what they can to help and would get back to me. The dealer calls me several days later and says the Factory is willing to cut you a break and fix it for $5,600!!!!! Wow thank you sooo much so generous of you to charge me $6,000 to replace a defective engine you built that was destined to fail from the assembly line. Small back story....I purchased a 2007 Gallardo brand new with 0 miles in 2007 and at 103 miles the crank shaft sensor went bad and it sat in the shop for 3 months waiting for the part to come in (same company). Terrible customer service - obviously hate repeat customers. And if it costs them money would rather not help you. Mercedes Lexus Toyota would have stood behind their product where Audi refuses to do so!

I was told by both the dealership and Audi USA that Audi never extends coverage and will not provide any warranty assistance (even in the case of potential negligence). The dealership initially refused to provide a loaner, however, after extending the expected completion of the repair four times, the dealership provided a loaner. They replaced the engine with a rebuilt-engine costing over $8,000 and completed the work on June 14th (26 days in the shop).Beginning July 1st, the rebuilt engine began leaking oil around the camshaft valve cover. The dealership inspected the car and agreed to contact the company from which they purchased the rebuilt engine. They needed to get approval from the supplier before doing any repairs. In the meantime, they told me to continue driving the car. After I called the dealership four times for an update, the dealership informed me that they needed pictures. I emailed pictures to the dealership immediately. I called the dealership four more times for an update and on July 28th, I was told that I could bring the car in August 3rd. The dealership added a high temperature sealant to the valve cover and I picked up the car on August 4th. 34 days to get the oil leak fixed on the rebuilt engine and a total of 77 days from the initial engine failure.

I leased an Audi Q5 and had an issue with my lease payment and attempted to contact Audi using live chat and was told they could not help with any accounting issues to call the phone number to customer service. When I called I was put in the holding system for about 20 minutes. Got an associate and while he was helping resolve the issue he cut me off. Called back and was put back in the hold system for another 20 mins. Got an associate who took care of one piece of the problem and told me she needed to transfer me to a different department which she did. And guess what, yes put back in the hold system for another 20 minutes. One of the most frustrating customer service experiences EVER!

I had the flaps replaced twice on my 2008 Audi TT Roadster, and just yesterday, the convertible top would not close. Therefore, I am going to have to replace the flap motor again. In addition, the rear driver side light keeps going out, and just yesterday, the check engine light just came on. I love the car but handle all the problems related to the 2008 Audi TT.

The issue that I have experienced was: 1.5 months back I had my 5 year old Audi A3 cut out on the motorway due to the engine mis-firing. I had RAC tow the car into Audi Nottingham where they said one of the injectors had failed which caused fuel to enter into the engine and cause this issue. I paid £1200 to get this fixed. A month later the car cut out again with the exact same symptoms, so I had it taken into Audi Sheffield. After having the car for 2 weeks they are still not able to re-produce the failure but can confirm from the vehicle computer system that the engine is mis-firing. After buying a premium car, and having it taken only to an Audi dealer for any services/repairs it is really disappointing to experience first hand the lack of quality with both the car and the service received. It occurred on: 11/06/2019.This meant that I was put in danger by the engine cutting off on the motorway. I was left without a car for 2 weeks during the initial breakdown. I was left without a car for another 2 weeks during the second week. I have lost all confidence in the car, the Audi group and the capability of the Audi technicians who are meant to be the best at what they do. I would like Audi to take ownership for selling me a car with a faulty engine and actually get it fixed. There comes a time when they need to stop looking for every excuse as to why the car engine is failing and look into what is causing the engines to fail in a car that is 5 years old with 60K miles on the clock. This is the most disappointed I have ever been with a car company or the services I have received from any car OEM! I look forward to your prompt response on this matter.

My new Audi required a tow to Ft Worth from Abilene (2 Hours) because of engine failure. The service department could not figure it out and ordered a new engine form Germany. 4 weeks later it finally comes in and I am left with no car for 4 weeks and Audi Ft. Worth really does not care. Then they need me to drive up to Ft Worth to pick up the car. I do get them to deliver it. One week later the transmission is slipping and ** service manager assures me it is in my head and the car is meant to slip. They would work me in in 2-3 weeks if I insisted on coming in. I drive 6 hours to Houston Audi who got me right in and found that the bolts were not tight on the new engine and was causing the slippage. Ft Worth Audit won’t answer their phone and take appointments only weeks in advance. ** is useless.

Purchased 2020 Q7 for over 80K. Sever safety issues began around 1000 miles. Vehicle would abruptly stop on the highway. Had truck for 8 months, 5 of those months spent in service. After 3 conversations with their corporate services who kept telling me they were reviewing my file and get back to me in a couple of days, which never happen. They would call me back after a month. This happened 3X while my Vehicle stayed in service. Finally I hired a lemon law attorney. Audi quickly settled but why they not simply by my car back. Instead, their neglect cost them a loyal customer who has purchased 4 Audi. We got our money back due to the lawsuit and bought a Mercedes. Audi could have simply taken the vehicle back and put us in a new Q7 but instead chose to ignore our safety concerns. Not only did they lose our loyalty but lost a customer to a competitor. I was also ready to trade in my Audi A7 but now would never consider an Audi and hopefully people read this review and think twice before they think about purchasing an Audi.

I have owned several German autos... BMW, Mercedes and Audi. Of the three brands, the Audi Q5 Premium Plus (2010) has been the best by far! The only problem has been with the emissions system fouling due to the direct fuel injection; a problem common to many current brands. Audis service has been excellent in correcting any and all problems! My biggest complaint is the cost of replacement parts... extremely high ($53.00 for a plastic visor clip)!

My Audi A4 was well designed/attractive. It has a nice handling, smooth ride and black on black with black tinted windows. It also had a great black leather interior to match the slickness Of the black exterior. It is definitely a nice car and one of my absolute faves because it was very stylish, fresh, sleek and cool. It almost reminded me of a Batmobile because it was so nicely designed and had a lovely exterior. It was in the luxury world but not as expensive as a Benz or BMW. I loved the Audi A4 but wish it had more tech features. Also, it needed lots of repairs and had recalled items which was very annoying. So when it started to break down I was ready to get rid of it instead of pouring money into repairs.

My 2010 Audis soft top started to leak this summer. It had just gone out of warranty. A top should not fail so soon for an expensive car like this. The best Audi will do is sell me the top at half off (only $2,000 plus labor). They are unwilling to stand behind their product and replace the top that obviously was poorly made. This will be my last Audi.

I leased the 2012 Audi Q7 in 2013. From the very beginning, the car burned a lot of oil. I kept having to put 2 qts of oil every time. They would not do a consumption test and said it was all in my head. Now my car barely 4 years old wont start. They told me I might need a new engine and it would cost 18000. But to access it properly I needed to pay 2600 for a proper diagnosis. Customer service would not assist me saying that my car was out of warranty. I thought a 60 something thousand dollar car would perform better. Very disappointed in Audi service and the product.

These vehicles tend to be extremely visually pleasing, stylish and sleek. These are usually futuristic looking and quite stunning to see. And these vehicles tend to be quite accommodating to multiple passengers with the exception of the spot models. They usually have great leg and head room. Great size for families or large people. And there is a fair amount of variety and selection. I do feel they are highly overpriced when it comes to maintaining the vehicle. They can be reliable but when they break parts can cost more than the vehicle itself. Custom wheels, custom sound systems, custom paint and custom interior options. Also custom accessory packages. These custom features tend to increase the price dramatically.

I personally drove a 2004 special edition TT and I can honestly say by far, this little speed demon is the most fun, exciting, smooth, reactive and never disappoints. Custom leather seats crafted to meet the high standards Audi always adheres to and often exceeds are a favorite for me. This vehicle is eye-catching with very unique and sexy lines. The interior is just as impressive, modern, sophisticated, clean and perfectly positioned to maintain maximum control of this power packed superior machine. It feels as though you’re in the cockpit of your very own rocket ship at a creamy soft leather seat. Youll turn more than a few heads as you glide effortlessly with speed, precision and power, hugging the road like you really mean it. I have a 2014 Audi A6 3.0 and was reading the comments on this website when I came across the comment from one person indicating that on his A6, he experienced transfer of clothing dye to the seats. I have exactly the same issue with my A6. I complained to the dealer and got nowhere except that the dealer stated that they could remove it if I wanted them to. I just told them to forget it and DID it myself. The problem with this issue is that I owned a Subaru Legacy prior to the Audi (Subaru is much cheaper car), with perforated leather seats and never had this problem with the Subaru. Following this chain of events, the car is still in my driveway with the engine in parts in the trunk and the dealer, Barrier Audi, refuses to even pay for the items stolen out of the car:March 29, 2013 - The car died while driving and would not restart. Pete, my son who does not own this car but was driving the car at the time, had the car towed to Barrier Audi. They confirmed that the engine would not start and told him that the engine would have to be torn down in order to determine the cause and extent of potential damage. April 16, 2013 - My son received the following email from Dave (service writer) at Barrier: I spoke with Gary this morning and he informed me that you had emailed him asking for Audi to assist with this repair. Gary has asked me to get authorization from you to do some tear-down so we can determine exactly what needs to be replaced. Essentially you would be agreeing to cover the labor costs ($900) to tear down the engine. Once we know exactly what needs to be done, we can approach Audi and ask for assistance. They may help with some financial assistance but please understand that they may choose not to participate as well and in that case, if you chose not to proceed any further, you would be responsible for the costs of the tear down. Please let me know if you would like to proceed.April 17, 2013 - My son replied to Daves email: Lets go ahead with the tear-down. Sorry for the delay in response. Between work, kids, and wedding planning, things have been a little crazy. June 2013 - My son told me that he had been trying to work with Barrier and Audi Customer Experience to determine what options may be available to repair the car other than the $7,000 estimate that was provided to him by Barrier Audi for a new engine. There have been ongoing problems with the engine in this car from the time it was new, and all we were told was to put oil in it whenever the light came on. Apparently Audi refused to even have a conversation about options for assistance in this repair until he produced every receipt for every quart of oil he added to the car approximately every 500 to 1,000 miles over the 107,000 miles it was driven. He had requested service records from both Larson Audi and Jobs Audi, but received no response from either. He had no work order from Barrier Audi and no invoice. June 27, 2013 - My husband and I met with Dave, the Assistant Service Manager at Barrier Audi. We told him that Pete was not the registered owner of the car; that I was the registered owner. Dave clearly had no interest in a conversation other than Bring all of your receipts for every quart of oil ever put in the car. What we told him was that we were longstanding Barrier customers and understood that they got pulled into this when the car died. We told him that all we are asking is for Barrier to help sort it out with Audi since they and we all know that there is a well-documented problem with this engine. We also told him that we first leased it from Audi Financial and then purchased it from Audi Financial so Audi has already made a lot of money on this car. He turned red in the face a lot but would absolutely not engage in conversation. We asked him why anyone that we know would ever buy another Audi and he said he didnt know. He did not provide the Service Order or provide me with an invoice to pay for the engine tear down. He did not ask me to take the car home. We left with no further resolution.July 26, 2013 - We were told by the service writer that that there is a tech at Barrier Audi that is interested in buying the car as is. We did not respond. We are continuing to try to get service records from the other two Audi dealers. August 21, 2013 - I realized that I did not receive a monthly statement from VW Credit for the Audi. I made an online payment on August 21, 2013. September 4, 2013 - I received a certified letter from VW Credit stating that they had my vehicle and were going to sell it because I broke promises in our agreement. Since no one had tried to contact me from Barrier Audi, I was stunned. I called VW Credit and spoke with Brandon. I asked him what promise in our agreement was broken and why they had the car and planned to sell it. He did not know. He transferred me to Audi Customer Experience when I requested that I speak with someone at Audi.I was transferred to Audi Customer Experience. Andrew, the representative who took the call, did some research and told me that Careful Asset Recovery had the car. He also told me that he would have a release processed so that I could pick up the car and bring it home. He said that they would waive the Voluntary Surrender fee of $250 and that there would be no storage charges. He said that he would look into the circumstances that caused the car to be picked up and call me back. He also said that he would get the service records from the other dealers.September 9, 2013 - We had the car towed home to my house. All of my sons belongings were missing from the car. September 23, 2013 - After not hearing back from Audi Customer Experience, I received an email from Audi Customer Relations Center asking if I was pleased with the resolution of my case. I responded extremely negatively and told them that the case was not resolved. September 23, 2013 - After not hearing back from Audi Customer Experience, I found that Andrew had left a message on the wrong phone. I contacted Andrew and asked about the status with VW credit. He told me that when he contacted Barrier Audi, they told him unbelievably that they had no knowledge of the car. He had not received any of the requested documentation from the other dealers. He transferred me to VW Credit so that I could determine the status on the account there as he had no organizational responsibilities for them. VW Credit was closed for the day.September 24, 2013 - I called VW Credit to get status on the account. I found that over $1,000 had been added to my credit account. Dana did not know why and did not know why I had been charged $250 as a voluntary surrender fee when I had not surrendered the car, and in fact, had no idea that the car was being towed. Dana said that she would call me back after she researched the charges and that it might take up to 72 hours. I was told that I had abandoned the car at the dealership and that the amount of the engine teardown, which was not authorized by me had been added to my car purchase account. I have never seen the work order nor bill for the teardown. VW Credit seemed startled that I had no information nor requests for payment from the dealer, but they also clearly could not find any such communication in the records.September 25, 2013 - Dana from VW Credit called back and I asked what the charges were for and was told that they were: Collection charges (I told Dana that they could not be collection charges since the account was current. Dana agreed); Storage charges (I told Dana that they could not be storage charges since Audi Customer Experience had them waived. Dana agreed); Service charges from Barrier Audi who had said that they had no knowledge of the car (I told Dana that I had not authorized any work, nor had I seen any invoice. Dana agreed that these should not be service charges but that Barrier Audi had the amount placed on the account.)I was also told that their records stated that Barrier Audi had contacted them (VW Credit) to have the car towed. I was then told that I had abandoned the car at the dealership and that the amount of the engine teardown, which was not authorized by me had been added to my car purchase account. I told her that I had never seen the work order nor bill for the teardown. I had also not been asked to pick up the car. Dana seemed startled that I had no information nor requests for payment from the dealer, but she could not find any such communication in their records either. I asked what reason Barrier Audi gave for their actions and Dana said that they could not locate a reason in the file. I asked if they made a habit of towing cars with no reason and was told that they typically simply do as the dealer requests. I asked if VW Credit was aware that in Washington state, no one can be charged for car repairs without a signed work order. I was told that they do not know about laws in the state of Washington or any other state and that I would have to take it up with Barrier Audi. VW Credit waived the $250 voluntary surrender fee and tried to conference Gary **, the Service manager at Barrier Audi. He was not available. Dana left a message for him to call her back. He did not call her back. I did not receive a statement because VW Credit thought that they still had possession of the car. They were surprised to hear that I had the car at home. They said that they would put a rush on sorting out the account. I filed a complaint with the Washington State Attorney Generals office.October 7, 2013 - I received an email from the Attorney Generals Office with a letter attached from Audi of America. They stated that since I had not provided the service records (which had been requested from the two dealers weeks before and not received) that they could not do anything. They also stated that the VW Credit issue was completely separate and not their problem. Mr. ** also stated that he had no response from VW Credit. October 9, 2013 I received an email from Andrew with two attached service orders from Larson Audi and Jobs Audi as requested by him September 4th and by me in June.October 21,2013 - I sent an email at Andrews suggestion to request a time to speak with Mr. **, the Barrier Audi Service manager. October 23, 2013 - My husband and I met with Mr. ** in his office on October 23. He acknowledged that there are three known issues with the engine that is in my A4. He detailed the issues. He stated that there were fixes for two of them and he did not know if they had been applied to my car. He also told us that Audi had told the dealers that the extreme oil usage in the car was normal and that oil should just be added every time the light came on. Audi later told them that it was not normal and that there were things that needed to be done to correct the problem. Given these problems, we were told that the engine warranty had been extended to 120,000 miles. This was the first time that anyone had told us about an extended engine warranty.Mr. ** told us that he was not aware that the car was being towed until the two truck driver showed up and asked for the keys. He said that they had no responsibility to notify the registered owner and in fact, we were told that it was not their responsibility to determine the registered owner of the car. This is notwithstanding the fact that we told his Assistant Manager back in June that I was the registered owner of the car. He maintained that Barrier did not have the car picked up. He also told us that Barrier never charges storage fees, nor do they file mechanics liens because they are onerous in the state of Washington. He also maintained that he had no idea about how any additional charges wound up on my credit account. He said that VW Credit must have initiated the car pick up. This is unlikely since VW Credit had no idea that the car was at Barrier Audi until contacted by Barrier Audi and the account was current.I asked him if he would assist us in getting the funds, presumably for the unauthorized work, separated on the credit account. He said that he would try but that he really had no influence with VW credit. I told him that I had still never received a copy of the work order nor an invoice. He said that he would take care of that right away and print it while we were there. He brought it up on his screen, looked at it for a minute and told us that he could not print it because his PC hung. We asked if he would email it and he agreed. He told us that he would contact the local Audi representative to see what could be done and that we would need to supply the work orders. We told him that we would email them which we subsequently did. I also asked if he would provide the detail of how the car came to be towed. We did not receive the work order or invoice.October 29, 2013 - I received a response email from Mr. **. He listed the additional service information that is required by Audi and told us that from now on we were to deal directly with Audi. The work order was not provided, nor was an invoice. October 30, 2013 I responded to his email and asked him again to provide the work order and invoice. I also asked him to provide the detail regarding how the car came to be towed. I received a response from him. It had the work order attached as well as the email that my son sent back in April to ask them to tear down the engine. The only detail provided regarding the vehicle pickup is:While we would have liked to contact you, we did not have any personal information of yours, Peter was our only contact. Because the car had been sitting on our lot for 4 months we found Audi Financial was the legal owner of the vehicle and contacted them. Due to privacy issues, they do not provide us with your personal information. 1 month later Audi Financial paid for and picked up the vehicle. As far as personal possessions that is something you will need to talk with Audi Financial about as they took possession of the vehicle.I contacted VW Credit following this email. According to them, Barrier contacted VW Credit in July about having the car picked up. This was shortly after the offer to buy the car by a service tech was received and ignored. They knew who the registered owner of the car was and made no attempt whatsoever to contact me about the situation. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and asked for the charges to be reversed from the account, reimbursed for the towing charges to bring my car home and the cost of my sons stolen possessions. They continue to say that it is not their problem.

My 2014 Audi Q5 was 1 year old in May 2015. I purchased it from Cavender in San Antonio, TX. My drive out price $60k. Every time I do a road trip more than 1.5 hrs I get excruciating pain in right leg. Last two cars were Lexus and BMW Z4 simultaneously. Never had this issue. Have talked with service dept and salesman multiple times even an email that included the owner. Have elevated issue to Audi cust support and talked/emailed with 2 ladies. The first just wanted to close the case. The second genuinely seemed concerned for the lack of cust svc and follow through by Cavender. I didnt want spectacular deals but didnt want them making a big profit on 1 year trade in or new car but we never even got close to those details. I am now looking at Volvo and Mercedes. Very disappointing. And everyone I know is accustomed to me keeping cars for a long time are asking why and getting all the details. Too bad Audi and Cavender.

Car engine stopped at 65 miles an hour on freeway. Lost all power & steering. Could have been killed. From what I hear other Audi owners have experienced same episode. Dont buy an Audi if you are concerned with your safety!!!
