Nissan Kills Off Its Fanciest Sedan To Invest In EVs

The Nissan Cima is dead. Why should you care about the death of a fancy Nissan technically never sold in the USA?rnWell, it's another significant sign that the humble sedan is currently on life support and manufacturers are more than eager to pull the plug. The Cima used to be a clear statement of wealth in a country where the government has clear rules on how big a car is allowed to be unless you want to pay a huge tax bill. Nissan launched the Cima in the late 1980s, just as Japan's economy started booming. Nissan sold 36,000 during the first year, enough for the car to get a phenomenon name after it. In short, the Cima Phenomenon was Japanese citizens spending buckets of money on luxury items, one of which was this luxury sedan. The first and second-generation Cima were JDM products, but the third-gen model was launched in other markets in 1996. That was back when sedans were still highly sought after, though Nissan badged it as the Infiniti Q45 for different markets. The last and final version was sold as the Q70L in the USA, though it was an in-between model that didn't know what it wanted to be. The modern equivalent is the Infiniti Q50, though most US customers would likely opt for the QX50 crossover. Nissan is canceling the Cima for two reasons. First, the Japanese giant is pouring its money into electric vehicles. Secondly, the current ICE Cima does not meet Japan's newly introduced noise standards. The third reason is quite embarrassing. While Nissan may have sold 36,000 Cimas during its first year on sale, it only managed to sell 75 units in 2021. If you take a closer look at the history, it appears Nissan planned to ax the Cima much earlier. There was a two-year production gap from 2010 to 2012, but Nissan started production again following dealer and customer demand. The result was a poorly received hybrid version of the Cima, which also didn't help the poor sedan's cause. It's not all bad news, however. Nissan and its alliance partners can now spend $26 billion on EVs. Late last year Nissan unveiled four EV concepts, including an SUV, a truck, a roadster, and a compact crossover. rnWhile it's sad to see another famous sedan die, it does seem like it's for a good cause. The man behind the current GT-R is in charge of making Nissan's EVs fun to drive. Seems like a decent trade-off.

I recently bought a 2016 QX-70. I previously owned a 2003 FX-45. I was looking forward to having an integral Navigation system. To that end I paid some $160 for an upgrade that took over four hours to load. The system is useless. In the three weeks I have owned it I have had several instances where after putting in an address it says. Sorry no data available. My Garmin Nuvi and Google maps found all of those in a very short time. Infiniti needs to fire whoever does that mapping program and use Garmin or Google. Very disappointing in an expensive vehicle.

I purchased a 05 QX56 3 years ago and know I have nothing but problems my brakes go out while Im driving, I have to pull over and turn off truck and turn it back on, my lights turn on and off when the light switch is off, and my dashboard lights turn on... I found out my IPDM module is not working. My window motor does not work, my rear window hatch went out. My 3rd brake light stopped working. And my memory seat does not work. My cruise control stopped working. Went to Infiniti and Nissan. All they do is give me the runaround!!!

I purchased the car and 6 days later the engine blew. Long story short, Patrick ** said take it to Garcia. THE ENGINE NEEDED REPLACED. After 2 weeks I got it back. When I got it back the engine ran but the air conditioner was broke so the next day took it BACK FOR AIR CONDITIONER. Then I had this car for 3 weeks and it overheated. The engine light came on...I havent been driving it. I am going to take it in for repairs again but I am afraid I have been too trusting. Now its been 2 months. I am going to take it in. I hope CarHop/UAC make it right. I have had this car two months and Im afraid to drive it anywhere for fear it will break down. I am taking to THEIR mechanic tomorrow. My warranty is good. Ill have it FIXED again. Hmmm fixed...right.Updated on 07/16/2016: Well its been a couple of weeks update. I called 07/15/16 to tell them I had fixed the car. It cost me but I would pay them Aug 1 my July 1 bill. They said no. That if I didnt pay the full amount they would disable my starter. WELL...AN HOUR LATER I CHECKED AND YES ONCE AGAIN STRANDED WITHOUT TRANSPORTATION. I am a single 32 yr who has to not only figure out a way around but I have PTSD. This is not my idea of good customer service. That car altogether has ran for maybe 2 1/2 weeks total. I finally get it working and Garcia turns it off. I need a lawyer.

I recently purchased a 2008 Infiniti G35. It was in great condition all around except for some interior paint that was coming off on the inside door handles and on the steering wheel. I figured this was from normal wear and tear and I can live with it. I could possibly fix it up later down the road. Well after having the car for about a month, I noticed that I had paint coming off in my hands when I drove to and from work. I work about 11 miles from my home, only about a 15 min drive. Not far. The paint on the inside door handles and on the steering wheel was a rubber type of back paint, and it was literally coming off in my hands most of the time when I drove. Not normal wear and tear. I did a little research on this problem and it turns out this is a known problem with 07 and 08 and it was fixed in late 08 and 09 models. Great, Ill take it in since Im still under warranty and have them fix it. Before I take it in, I called Infiniti USA, their customer service number, and talked to a lady on the phone and told her about my issue. She told me that she has seen this before. It is a known defect, and to just take it into my local dealership and they will replace the parts. I read about this online and it was the answer I was expecting so I said thanks. The next day, I drove to Tim Dahle Infiniti in Salt Lake City. When I got there, I am told that this is wear and tear and is not covered. I explained that this is not normal wear and tear and is a known defect. He says he can no longer cover this issue, and when Infiniti has done it in the past, it was under a goodwill clause where they do it only for people that have had a long history with Infiniti. The service manager recommends that I contact Infiniti USA to see if they can approve it to be done. Well, I explained that I had already contacted them and they said to just bring it in. We gave them a call again. I get a different story this time, and have to file a request to have a specialist get back to me about this issue. About a week later, I get a call saying this will not be honored or covered under the manufacturers warranty. I specifically came from an Acura TL that I had previously owned to Infiniti because of this lightly better engine specs and on the recommendation of several friends and family members that have Infiniti, but I never had an issue like this with Acura. For a $40,000 car, you would expect a car dealer to honor the warranty that they put on the car, especially for an issue that is well known and documented. They even changed the interior paint in newer models so this problem doesnt happen anymore. With plenty of records online of people having this taken care of under warranty, I find it hard to believe they can do it for some cars and not for all. I am extremely unhappy with how this had turned out. I am hoping Infiniti learns from this and will cover it eventually but well see. For now, I will not recommend Infiniti to anyone again. If anyone knows of a way to convince them to cover this, or any other advice, I would love to hear about it.

I purchased a 2003 Infiniti G35 in 2006. I am having problems as outlined in a recall issued by Infiniti; however, they are telling me that my car is not part of the recall. When I called the dealership, they said that the previous owner had already taken advantage of the recall so if I want the issue resolved, then I have to pay $650. I have already paid for a new air conditioning compressor and a motor for my passenger side window to find out that the issue was with the audio circuit board. The recall said: On some model year 2003 G35 Sedans manufactured through August 21, 2002, the audio and temperature controls may not operate as expected. When using the audio equipment or the temperature controls, the unit may become inoperative. In some cases, this can be corrected by turning the ignition switch off and back on again. In other cases, the unit remains inoperative and requires service by an Infiniti technician. To prevent this condition, Infiniti has initiated a Voluntary Service Campaign to replace the audio finisher circuit board on these vehicles at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. This campaign affects approximately 23,998 Infiniti G35 Sedans in the United States. The notification letter stated: Thank you for your purchase of an Infiniti 2003 G35 Sedan. Infiniti is committed to providing the highest levels of product quality and customer satisfaction as part of the Total Ownership Experience program. Through our product performance monitoring, we have identified that the audio and temperature controls may, on occasion, not operate as expected. To ensure your satisfaction and to prevent any inconvenience, Infiniti is replacing the component that controls the audio and temperature controls on your vehicle with an improved version. Your Infiniti dealer may have already contacted you to schedule an appointment and to have this component replaced, at no cost to you. If not, please contact your nearest Infiniti dealer to schedule an appointment at your earliest convenience. This free service should take less than two (2) hours to complete, but your Infiniti dealer may require your vehicle for a longer period of time based upon their work schedule, or parts availability. If you require alternate transportation, please schedule an appointment in advance so your Infiniti dealer can ensure a free service loan car is available for your use.If you have any questions or concerns about your Infiniti G35 Sedan, please contact your Infiniti dealer or contact an Infiniti representative toll free at (800) 662-6200. If you reside in Hawaii, please call (808) 836-0888.Thank you for providing us an opportunity to ensure ongoing satisfaction with your new Infiniti G35 Sedan. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Infinitis variety is interesting and unique. Its appearance was silver with a big body. It has a wonderful shiny color that gleamed in the light during the day or night. Magnificent appearance. Its huge inside with lots of space available and optional third row for more seating.

I love my Infiniti sedan. I bought it used at 85k miles. I have zero problems with it. Just regular maintenance which is reasonable. It rides beautifully. It’s pretty. I would love to get a new one.

We have had our new QX80 for about 2 weeks. My wife keeps complaining about her legs going numb. She was very uneasy spending the large amount on the vehicle and its so nice she feels it could be making too big of a statement for our family. I keep reminding her its a safe suv and were not making a large statement, we are just buying a truck that fits our family from a dealer that buys from us. Unfortunately I too have been driving it lately and my legs go numb as well. Not sure what to do.

We purchased a used 2015 QX80 with 65,000 miles on it. We did love the car and was an amazing ride till this week. We had some issues and it was running very rough and the engine light came on. So we had it towed to a local shop and he said the codes it was pulling it was something internal (P0011 & P0021) and we needed to have it looked at from a dealer. So the Local Nissan diagnosed it as stretched timing chains. They said it was right about $4000 to fix it. So this car just has 105,000 miles on it and we paid nearly $38,000 for it. So I have a car that I paid nearly $40,000 dollars for it, I have only put 40 thousand miles on it and I have to put $4,000 into it to get it running. I called the Infiniti Consumer affairs and got nothing but sorry. I explained that I have a stay at home mom with 5 kids and we are on a very tight budget, etc. She then said that I would have to have it towed to Infiniti instead of Nissan???? Same company? They said they cannot have Nissan look at it and this was done by one of their master mechanics. So this means tow it a third time with and pay another diagnose fee for what? Infiniti should step up to the plate here. I asked the girl I spoke with to give me a supervisor and she said there were none. She was reading from a script as you could tell just to get you off the phone. I then asked her how she would feel if you purchased a car for 40,000 dollars and only got 40K out of it and now have to put 4 thousand dollars into it. She said she could not reflect on that? This is what customer service departments have come to? No emotions or anything. Just firmly I cant reflect? I said, (ask your CEO or director how they would feel if their mom of 5 was going through this). Again nothing. After doing research, this is a problem that Infiniti knows about but is doing nothing. Just look around on some blogs and you will find them. As well there are issues with the catalytic converters at $1,300 a piece for both sides. I was just wanting them to do whats right and stand by the product. I am a sales manager that travels the US and trust me that I will share this story with every individual I come in contact with. In my business I tell my people to treat people right and they will come back every time... Treat people like you want to be treated and you just built a successful business. I cannot believe this company and its products. We will never purchase another Infiniti or Nissan and I will make sure my kids remember what we are going through when they make their decisions for a car. I will share this story at every sales meeting, and while visiting clients for sure!!!

We purchased the JX35 when it first came out in 2012. Weve had a few minor issues related to recalls (gas tank fuel pickup tube re-route and fuel gauge re-calibration). We have also had the same problem with the right front passenger airbag switch. This has been recalled several times, and after the last service inspection the re-calibration of the sensor seems to have corrected the problem. Im not having the shuttering problem with the transmission either. Its the original transmission which performs very well. It appears that the cars manufactured shortly after mine had the new XTronic CVT which seems to be a real problem. My experience with Infiniti Consumer Affairs has been very positive. I had a problem with my navigation unit going haywire (constant re-setting) during a cross country trip. Consumer Affairs made arrangements for me to take the car to a Nissan dealership since there wasnt an Infiniti dealership anywhere close to our location. As it turned out, the problem didnt re-occur until we returned home. Our dealership found that there was an issue which called for a firmware update. Im very satisfied with Infiniti and thankfully havent had the negative experiences as seen on this site.

I have an 2008 G35. This year I have had several issues. My car would not turn off without cutting the battery. It happened twice before where I spent 10 mins trying to turn it off pushing the button. After the 3rd time it would not turn off unless we disconnected the battery. We brought it to the shop and was told the computer went bad along with all the electrical in the car and would cost $10,000 to fix!!!!! We took it to Infiniti. I was told that the computer was fine that it just needed fuses and some simple repairs. Fortunately that did fix it and was covered under the insurance. Then I purchased two tires for the back. After 4,000 miles the outside of the tires are bald. Being a mom who only really drives in town maybe 10-15 miles a day with some long distance driving a couple times a month. I had to change one tire without bringing the car to the tire center bc it was flat in my driveway. No big deal right? Once we changed that tire all of a sudden going down the road the slip light came on and then the VDC light came on. Now the VDC is very important bc it drives the car safely and is discouraged not using it To the point that is considered dangerous. (Why would you even make that a option if its dangerous?) I had to stop several times within 20 mins on the side of the road and turn the car off to reset it as actually pushing the VDC button didnt work. This went on for a week. I finally got around to take the car to the tire place to fix the defective tires. After they fixed the tires they reset all the sensors as they do every time they change the tires and I havent had an issue since. We have had no real issues besides this other than the clear coat coming off the hood and the door handle color coming off. I purchased my car in cash for half its value from someone in a bind when it was a year old. This was a limited G35. It has everything Infiniti offered in a vehicle including a racing engine. They made them for only half the year that year. I have over 100,000 miles on my car and these have been the only issues. I am happy with Infiniti however I hate the new designs coming out now.

Infiniti produces a good variety of nice car models. They make coupes, sedans, crossovers, and SUVs. I have had a good experience with my car and I would recommend Infiniti. Its a very reliable car. My car is a four-door SUV with stitched leather seats and can seat up to five people in two rows of seats. This car is nice if you carpool or have a small family. I wish there was a little more room though.. The seats are very comfortable and it has the option of including All Wheel Drive. I would recommend getting All Wheel Drive if you plan to go off-roading or live where it snows.

The company resolved 100% and responded to me directly. I dont believe they even knew this was here. Im very pleased with Infiniti Financial Services and have leased with them for 15 yrs. this was a very shocking and guess one off situation. No need to contact them. Thank you.

Smooth riding experience. Comfortable in every way. Its feels like you are riding on air. It gives you a chance to be able to see whats going on with the comfort of the ride. Beautiful is everything you can describe it. The looks of it gives you a reason to want it more than you realize it. You can talk about how long your car looks and how long it gives. I love how you can make your own decisions when you are on the passenger side. Give you a chance to relax and let it go to a good long ride. You carry it to a car dealership and they treat you with great respect, make sure everything is taken care of and puts a smile on your face to comfort you.

I have this car for about a month, took it twice to the dealership for the loud wind leaking noise on both front doors (when driving at 70mph or more). They loaned me a similar car which dont have the same issue. They tested twice and confirmed that it makes the loud sound. Tech adjusted the doors to no avail. Second time they said that they called Corporate but there is nothing to do, it a factory defect and I have to live with it. Looking for options, including a lawyer.

Very disappointed so far from Infinity Customer Service. Even though I have a 2005 FX35 and a letter from Kevin Martin (VP of Total Customer Satisfaction at Infinity) stating that the dashboard had a problem and would be under warranty for 8 years, both Infinity and my local dealer (Bergstrom Auto in Appleton WI) have, so far, failed to stand behind the letter and repair my dash. I was planning on replacing my FX35 with another one, but am certainly reconsidering that. One guy on this board mentioned a class action lawsuit. Does anyone know if there really is one of those?

This compact SUV handles well, offers relative quiet and comfort, good visibility and fair fuel economy. We like the rear view camera, the leather seating, the moon roof and generous storage space. All wheel drive is great on wet roads. Good audio, bluetooth phone and proximity sensors are a plus in driving and parking. GPS does a neat job. Nice car.

There are exceptional vehicles available through Infiniti. From Sporty sedans to family friendly SUVs, there is going to be a car for everyone at Infiniti. There are also a number of different packages and upgrades available. There will be something for everyone. Whether you are interested in a sport package, cold weather package, family upgrades, you will be able to find what you are looking for. There is also very good customer service throughout the life of the car you purchase. My Infiniti (which was an FX 35) was the first five passenger vehicle I had ever ridden in that was actually comfortable for all 5 of the passengers. The design and feel of the seats was only to be believed when ridden in. Infiniti has a distinctive luxury look. Whether one year old or ten years old they are a car that will make people turn and look.

Day one of ownership of a QX60. Blind spot monitor light goes on and off whenever it wants. We Drove three hours back to have them look at it. They told me to go home and enjoy my new car. Telling me they cant fix anything that isnt coding. I had to take pictures to prove the light would flash and come on because no one would believe me. It cant code if it truly thinks there is a car there that it sees, even when Im on a two lane road and there isnt a car there.Forward crash warning turns itself off when it wants. Many phone calls and I just keep getting brushed off. Two months later it finally codes. They took three weeks to try and fix, but after 2 years and numerous trips back, its still not fixed. We would find it sitting outside in back row at the dealership and not even being worked on. Yet they had it for about three weeks.Brake issues, pedal makes noise. I would push the brake and when I release the brake it would make a noise. Yet they promised they would take care of me and make everything right and is at the highest standards. haha Id hate to see low standards. My service dealership that I take all our vehicles to for oil changes, tells me I have a head gasket leak. I said I have always smelled antifreeze and told the deal I purchased from all the time. They just blew me off like I was just complaining about nothing. Today I was told by my Infiniti dealer that it is normal for all Infiniti to have a head gasket leak. Yes thats right it IS NORMAL for that to happen. Cabin seal on drivers side had pulled out first time I washed it. Paint on rear tail gate was repainted because the paint was bubbling from rust.YES we supposedly purchased this car bran new. Please if anyone else has experienced any of this please contact me. I really dont need to deal with all this stress. Its physically making me sick. I think when flood waters went through Des Moines Iowa my car may have been too close and received some damage that no one is admitting to. This flood was before I purchased the car. Yes I have contacted the BBB and the attorney generals office.

I bought my 2003 G35 brand new. I paid a very high price for a luxury car that turned out to be a lemon. I had trouble with the AC unit and radio almost from the very beginning. I was not informed of the recall campaign at all. I took my car in five-seven times during the recall with the same problems on the AC unit and radio, and it was never fixed. I now found out that there was a problem that they were aware of, and they never fixed it even while on warranty. I called Infiniti consumer affairs; they said that my radio was already replaced, and they were not going to do more. I have all my service orders that state the repeated visit, with the same issues. Im not going to let this go. I work too hard and paid a lot of money, for me to have to pay more due to a Nissan manufacturer mistake. If there is a lawyer that would take my case and help with a class action suit, please contact me. I will also begin a search for an attorney to take my case. This will not end until Nissan is stood up to!

I like a nut not only did I buy one Infinti (QX60) but I bought the second one, a G37. The QX60 a week after I bought the Gas gauge was reading Zero mile with a 1/4 tank of Gas. I got told it was bad gas, then I was told Im driving down hill so that affects it. Then I was told the Infiniti corporate had to assess the SUV. It took them 2 tries and they replaced the entire Gauge system. Then I had issues with the Transmission. Took it countless time and they kept saying that the software needed to be upgraded. After filing a complaint they replaced the Trans and it took over 9 months to get it done. Then I bought a G37 certified. I thought buying a certified would get me a better value and it would be reliable. It started to leak Differential fluid. Was told the Diff overheated and it leaked fluid. Then the Tires got a nail and they refused to fix them, when they said that it was covered under the maintenance. I have to say the SERVICE FROM INFINITI IS POOR AT BEST. IF YOU CALL INFINITI CONSUMER AFFAIR AND GET AMANDA HANG UP and wait the 30 days and get someone else. If you ask for a manager and Tommy. Hang up as he will give you lip service. Buy a Lexus or Acura!!!

Infiniti is a very pleasant and sustainable car as it meets the standards of quality. And good performance. It has sports and sedan. The experience of having a car of this type is very satisfactory as it is a high quality automobile and excellent handling. Its very fast, safe and economical. The capacity of people you can carry in it varies as it has the ability to perform very well even with 6 or 7 passengers. Theres also customization in terms of color, size of rims and rings, lines in paint, upholstery, sound equipment, speakers, screens, visual improvements, sunroofs and electric windows.

Purchased a 2020 QX50 and its already been towed twice because it simply would not start. In both cases the car was in a safe place however, I was without a vehicle. Infiniti services scheduled the tows. The first tow took over a day to pick up the car. The second time the tow took over 2 days to be picked up. The AutoStart had be replaced....in a 2020 vehicle. I classify Infiniti as a luxury vehicle and with that expect a reliable vehicle and attention to the customer experience. I give Infiniti a ZERO on both ratings.

I took my car in to Herb Chambers Infiniti Westboro, MA for the airbag recall on Oct 5th 2017. A few days later my airbag light came on. I took my car back to Infiniti and they are saying its not their fault. They will not repair it. I complained to Infiniti consumer affairs and they also said they will not repair it. They said the cost is $2,888. The airbag light was never on until they did the recall work on it and now Infiniti will not repair it.

I love my Infiniti. There is plenty of easy access to great seat belts and tinted windows. The car has a very long life for its battery. You receive a couple year warranty. The car lives up to all internal an external expectations. The quality of each accessory of the car and its internal parts speak very high of the car industry in general. You can fit 2-6 people in this car comfortably. Lots and lots of leg room and each seat is heated when its cold and cool to the touch when its hot out. The safety features rank 1 in the future car industry. Lexus, Audi, Buick cars that I felt would live up to my expectations of cars in the future didnt make or meet my approval.

My EX 35 has 55k miles. Steering makes groaning/thumping sound when turning right and going over bumps. Took it to dealership (Lupient in Minneapolis) and was told this is due to problem with steering box and will have to be replaced at cost of $2,100. Asked about warranty and was told steering was out of warranty at 50 k miles and that existing drivetrain warranty (6 years or 70k miles) would not cover. Was told to contact Infiniti consumer affairs. Did so with same result. Steering is most critical system on a car (as wings are to airplanes); this car has not been abused and Ive never encountered such a problem in any of the ten cars Ive owned (4 of which have been Nissan/Infinitis). Ive found internet references to this problem with this car - this must be a manufacturer defect. Is Infiniti copying the GM strategy of rebuffing serious safety complaints until serious problems occur? I would like for infiniti to make good on this issue and help me repair this problem.

I just bought my 2004 Infiniti G35 with get this, only 4K miles on it. The elder lady who drove it before leased it and never drove it. So I have been super happy with the car. Its sexy, it runs great. It has all the bells and whistles brand new cars have coming out today. So cut to the chase, I walk to my car that is parked in front of my house to hop in and run errands. My neighbor is talking to me but I am in a hurry so I just start up the engine. It revved but didnt turn over. No problem, probably didnt hold it long enough. Nope, keeps revving but no turn over. I am thinking, I have gas in the car whats the problem? Maybe a little air in the line sure give it a little gas and it will start. I am telling the car took a 180 from hell and went from being the easily start right up smooth ride to the rev it up like its a freaking 1960 bug engine and then proceeded to smoke. Yay! So naturally I turn the car off immediately (mind you I just paid my car payment lol) and proceed to figure out how I am going to resolve this issue. I called the dealership and was put on hold for forever then It went to voice mail. Called again and a lady picked up. She seemed nice but ended up being a peon robot worker bee. I told her my situation and she said the next available appoint is August 14th. I said that is in 9 days! Can you make an exception, I have to go to work tomorrow and I would at least need a rental car. No sir, but would you like me to make you the appointment? Yeah, that robotic. So I got the manager on the phone and he gave me a couple farm out mechanics and I got on for the next day at 9 am. It is the night before so I got the tow set up and the rental car situation all worked out. I am going to have them look at everything and I am going to pick my next fuel pump, and have them look at my engine because I can tell me motor mounts are loose and my Transmission likes to jump out of first gear a lot as well. I saw that there was a recall for the fuel pump and called Infiniti affairs. The lady took over 30 minutes to find my car and proceeded to tell me that there is no recall and to talk to the dealer. Then she told me there actually IS an AIRBAG recall. Okay great, so glad I called in otherwise my airbags wouldnt be functioning and they said they didnt tell me because I was not linked to my car. So all of you out there reading this, make sure you called Infiniti affairs 1 (800) 662-6200 and make sure you are attached to your car so you will get the recalls. Most Infinitis have a recall of some sort. I will also get my dashboard looked at as I see there are a lot of complaints about that. I would also note to take your car to get serviced at an actual Infiniti dealer. You cannot trust anyone else. If anyone has any questions comments or any advice that would help me with my 2004 Infiniti G35 feel free to email me at **. Thanks for reading!

Upon purchase of our new JX35, wipers did not work day of purchase. Drove home from dinner in rain w/o wipers. Car was then recalled for a rotor problem. Then on Oct. 20, 2013 at 10 months with under 5,000 miles, the entire dash went blank. Our connected cell phone heated up and we drove home because we were leaving for two weeks to CA. When we returned, we called the dealer because our new car was dead! A tow truck took the car to the dealership on 11/5/2013. We were told it would take 2 days to get a part and repair. Now, Nov. 10, 2013 and still no sign of when the new 2013 JX35 will be repaired. We no longer trust the car since we believe all the electronics and wiring received extensive damage in the electrical malfunction. We have requested a buy back by Infiniti to trade for a new Infiniti. We do not know if anyone else has had any similar electrical problems. We had serviced this car at Infiniti in July for regular maintenance and had not used the auto much since that service! We are awaiting confirmation from Infiniti that they will swap the defective lemon JX35 for a new vehicle!!! We feel this should have been resolved with the dealer long before now!!

Got this JX35 in November of 2013 and have had the following issues with less than 30k miles on the car. Door molding was falling off so it was replaced as the plastic was bowed. Both sun visors fell down and were replaced with new ones. Roof rail seals came out and when I asked the dealer to pop it back in, they told me the whole rail had to be replaced. The instrument cluster and dashboard shut down and restart while driving. And it is very noticeable at night or early morning as I have no gauges to follow in the dark. So the navigation computer was replaced but has not resolved the issue yet and the dealer doesnt know what to do with it. The transmission was very sluggish and when I asked the dealer to check I got a call that it has to be replaced and it was. Now, 5k miles later its doing it again. There have been a couple of recalls in the middle, with recalls on the recalls as the service adviser put it, so they have replaced a bunch of door latches on the car again and again. The latest one is my key. Neither key will work, so I cannot get in the car using the key-less feature and I have a very hard time starting the car even when I hold the key near the start button. The GM at the dealer claims they have informed Infiniti Corporation and I have been waiting for a response for 9 months now! In summation, if I can get in the car and get it started, I may get stuck on the road in the middle of the night with a broken transmission while not knowing where I am or which way to go because all of my instruments have stopped working. Other drivers wont help because the pieces falling off my car has damaged their car and they are angry. At this point, Infiniti is jeopardizing my life and life of others around me very frequently and without remorse. I guessing this will qualify as a lemon but have to check with a lawyer!

Everything has gone wrong with Infiniti. I just had to have a transmission installed and it only has 125K miles. Lots of electrical problems, sun roof broke, and drivers side door wont stay open. I should have bought a Toyota.

We buy this car if we paid for a cheap nice car. Its only good way to travel around the world and pay insurance for this. Otherwise it isnt a overpaying. Its a four seat car with nice comfortable seat of black type of car and it helps seat more people in a car per travel without stress. Appearance of a car just looks pretty normal and pretty depending the bright shine and coolest looking function.

I bought a 2007 Infiniti FX 35 and the dashboard started having bubbles all over it due to a manufacturing defect. I was never notified by Infiniti about this defect and a warranty extension issued on it. When I called the dealer I was told that it would be 1500 to replace the dashboard. I called up Consumer Affairs and wrote them a letter explaining the issue. They told me that there is nothing they can do about it and if I dont want to ever buy an Infiniti that is fine by them. Stay away from these cars. Buy Lexus or some other quality luxury car. These cars are cheap and the company does not empower their staff to take care of customers. In these times where every brand wants to offer a differentiated value proposition and experience for its customers, the old-school Infiniti is going in the opposite direction. No wonder they are way behind the other luxury brands.

They ruined my credit over $100, because I had a typo in a single month of car payment. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and never had a clean payment history. They didn’t bother contacting me and marked me 30 days late. So now I can’t get the best mortgage rate when I’m trying to buy a house. Their customer service is also very rude when I try to dispute this.

I purchase 2014 Infiniti QX70 at Aug 19, 2014. The car come with lots thing need repair. The dealer tell me is ok, they will take care for me and like brand new. Lots body paint, look like its been touch up. After 3 months between dealer and their official body shop, now dealer drop my case and tell me contact Infiniti consumer affairs because I been file with them on Aug. The car been in & out dealer to body shop 4 times since after Aug 19. Each time after body shop fixed, the condition is more awful, over paint or damage rubber, especially the tail light is crack and water inside the tail light. Now the new car is been repaint from front bumper, both side door in side, right front passenger door... Some area when body repaint without tell me! Both rear side door inside paint is rough, windshield and window has clear coat spray spot, window edge and door edge is over paint. Last thing, even now the dealer still not repair my DVD monitor and driver side seat belt buckle! I been send e-mail back to Infiniti consumer affairs 3 times since 10/19, plus I call them and leave message over 3 days too, still no one reply me e-mail or call me back. Very bad customer services for manufacturer. Very terrible and dont care. If anyone know the professional lawyer please let me know, or already file action lawsuit against Infiniti I would like to joining.

I have a close friend who bought an Infiniti and after just six months was rear ended. Underinsured driver and the problem lies where Infiniti does not provide replacement parts, what??? If you’re making these cars how do you not provide PARTS? My friend was covered for two weeks of rental and is now for the last four weeks is paying over $600 a week ONLY because of fault of Infiniti NOT providing parts in a timely manner. DO NOT BUY Infiniti. Their customer service sucks!!!

Why wont Infiniti stand behind theyre product? I have a 2003 G35 with 70,000 miles and it is now having the same electrical problems that everyone else who owns the 2003 is having; radio dead, battery drained, AC stuck on, fan goes full blast then low. I dont understand why Infiniti wont help. This will be an expensive fix. I loved the car. I will never buy another and I will tell everyone I know not to buy Infiniti. Service needs to stand behind this product. You guys are wrong!

Infiniti offers a lot of room, comfort, design, technology, etc. It is one of the best cars that you can purchase for the price and the type of style that it is for a great vehicle. The Infiniti also has some of the best appearance and features. The technology within the vehicle is very nice and it has a whole lot of buttons. It also has chrome wheels as well as the sporty look on the inside and outside of the vehicle with leather seats. The upgrades on this vehicle is marvelous. It has various upgrades from the rims, radio system, Bluetooth, etc. and many more different features. The passenger capacity is very roomy. It has large cargo trunk and it is very efficient for the seating in the back and the front of the vehicle. It is a good and great product.

I am about to pull out what little hair I have left! We purchased a fully loaded JX35 5/13/2013. Soon after we started to experience transmission problems. The car would shake and jerk between 20-30 mph. We returned the car to Infiniti of Manhattan in 6/1/2013. The service department couldnt provide us with an answer as to when the car would be returned or provide us with an answer as to what is wrong with the car. 6/15/2013 they informed us they would need a new transmission! So we demanded that the get us a new car because this car is obviously defective. The car had less than 300 miles on it at the time of replacement. They told we will not get a replacement contact Infiniti USA. We did and they told us they will do everything to fix the problem. Meanwhile, the transmission had to be ordered from Japan. The car was returned to us 7/16/2013. We made two car payments on a car that we didnt have. Now not even a year later with 7000 miles on the car the transmission fails again! No answer as to when the car will be returned same silence from Infiniti USA. I have tried to break lease, unable to. We have contacted New York State Department of Consumer Affairs awaited their help. Save your money. DONT BUY THIS CAR OR ANY CAR FROM INFINITI!!!!

The styling is terrific. It is comfortable to ride & to be a passenger in. And it is safe! If I lend the car to relatives, they are comfortable in it & they feel it is a safe drive. Frankly, if I finally wear this car down (and it doesnt seem likely in the near future), I am getting another Infiniti.

I had a schedule on Jan 2, 2019 12 noon to 5 PM to have my QX59 inspected (as required by Infiniti) and made a confirmed appointment (have an email from them Nobody called and nobody showed up wasted 5+ hours.) When called not even an apology. Useless company Infiniti and their inspection Contractor AIM Inspections. Will NEVER get an INFINITI again.

Brought my car in for regular maintenance, was told airbag switch (OCS) needs replacing - $4,100. Airbags will not function. Told the entire front passenger seat would be replaced. No other means of repair. NHTSA issued recall 7/8/08 for this exact item. My cars make, model and year ARE listed on the NHSTA website as being covered. Infiniti Corp tells me it is NOT covered. Issue elevated to Eric ** in Infiniti Consumer Affairs Dep’t who refused any kind of assistance because car is out of warranty - ignoring the NHTSA campaign entirely. Mr. ** refuses to even discuss why NHTSA would include my car in the campaign but Infiniti does not. They will not do the repair at cost, or at a reduced price, or give it any further consideration whatsoever. Car has been meticulously maintained and all required services completed throughout life of my 2008 EX35 Journey. Took four days for Infiniti Consumer Affairs to make a decision, while dealership hassled me to return loaner car before the matter was handled by Corporate. Worst Customer Service Ever.

My jx35 passenger airbag deactivation light turns on randomly. I took my automobile to the dealer at least six (6) times and dealer couldnt reproduce it. I recorded several videos of this issue where my wife or even myself is in the passenger seat and the deactivation air bag light turns on while the car is in motion. Finally, the Department of Transportation and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration released a recall. Occupant detection system may disable pass air bag on 03/12/13. Also, we are experiencing a problem with the city mpg. I obtained an average of 10mpg instead of 18mpg offered. This is definitely a fraud.

Nissan Infiniti has many features like lane assistant when you get off a lane, and has a nine inch touchscreen with Android auto to control stuff you normally do on your Android phone like Google maps, YouTube, take calls and etc. It is touchscreen so you can fill it with all kinds of widgets from the play store. It takes very little gasoline and is the fastest most reliable car. It also has active wipers in bad weather and self parking assistance. You can personalize the dashboard at the front of the vehicle. The seats covers can be changed into aftermarket ones. And the tires are customizable like always. The user capacity is the same like any other four door sedan. Mostly three or four can fit in the back and a person in the front passenger seat. The driver seat and the passenger seats have more dedicated foot room.

They look like good vehicles. They are nice in appearance and have very nice lines and are very sleek looking. They are the best looking line of cars that money can buy. They have big cars and small ones - trucks that are luxury and SUVs that are all wheel drive. They are black, white, blue, grey, silver, green, sand, charcoal. You can customize the car as you see fit. It is very accommodating in the options. You can choose to put in it very nice features to have. It is very good. It has enough room to do what needs to be done it the respect of making enough room to have all your friends and dogs and cats and whatever you can put in there.

I own an FX35, bought it new and drive it up and down the street to work. Its 7 yrs 2 months with 46K miles. I noticed a tiny blemish on my dashboard in January 2013 and did not pay much attention to it. By mid-June, the tiny blemish turned into 5 tiny blemishes. Still not worried about it, I went on vacation for the summer. Upon my return on August 26, I got in my car and was shocked at the amount of bubbles on my dashboard. In the space of 2 months, the issue progressed to such proportions I could not stand to drive my car! I asked around to a couple of body shops to see about getting it fixed and they told me to see the dealer, thats not normal. Then finally, my car wash attendant said that theyve washed 3 other Infiniti cars like mine and said that there is a warranty for that and this is an issue with many Infiniti FX cars. I did some research and sure enough its all over. Its known. I called Infiniti Consumer Affairs and my car missed the warranty by 2 months. June 15, 2013 was my cut off date. I went to the dealership and they said that I barely missed the cut-off. Infiniti should cover this issue and the dealership went ahead and sent in the request for a part. I got a call 1 day later and Infiniti said they will not cover the repair because its past the extended warranty. I argued that this is not normal for a car to do this. Infiniti used defective materials in their so-called luxury car, but they will not stand by their brand. I am very pissed at this problem! I was considering trading my car in for another newer Infiniti FX35 of JX but now that this issue has come up, no way!! NO MORE INFINITIs for this wary and very angry car buyer! I rate Infiniti as no stars, very, very pissed off angry consumer!

I have purchased/leased 6 different cars from Infiniti 2 Q70Ls 2 Q50 and 2 QX80s on 1 of the cars, the last one I will ever purchase from Nissan or Infiniti. They returned an electronic transfer back to my bank without me knowing it, So I made scheduled payments per closing and assumed all was well...as a result of that returned transfer which they couldnt explain they showed me 3 straight months of 30 day late payments. They apologized but refuse to correct it with the credit agencies, the only blemish on my credit is a result of their incompetence and laziness. They are not a good company and I would not trust them...

I bought a brand new 2010 G37 in Blue Slate. Soon after taking it home, I noticed that I was getting chips in the paint. At first I thought nothing of it and chalked it up to road hazards. Well, I must have 50 chips all over the car’s hood, roof, front and rear quarter panels - it’s just crazy. I have never owned a vehicle that chips as easily as this Infiniti. I contacted consumer affairs and was told there were no recalls for this at this time. They told me to bring the car to a local Infiniti dealer for an assessment. The service manager ** at Circle Infiniti looked at it. He said, “Yep, there are chips all over the car.” He took some pictures and told me to have consumer affairs contact him. I just received a call from Infiniti’s consumer affairs who told me that the chips were natural. Are you kidding me? Infiniti sucks and I would never buy another vehicle from them.

I own a used 2003 Infiniti G35, unlike many of the other problems people have posted about the newer Infinitis breaking down, this ones a little different. I am truly sorry that so many people have had so many problems with this car company, I mean look at their rating. I am giving 2 stars ONLY because before this I really havent had many issues with the car besides for regular maintenance. About a week ago my car started to stall out on me, the steering wheel would lock up and my dash slip and VDC off lights would come on. It would also be a challenge to get it restarted, a few minutes setting did the trick. The first time it stalled was on the highway, which was extremely scary and luckily I was in the right-hand lane and able to pull over to the side of the road. The reason for this review is because I brought my car to my local mechanic as quick as I could, he checked it out and told me I needed both of my Camshaft sensors replaced. A whopping $792.60, mind you I am 23 years old, thats a lot of money to me. Its a lot of money to most people. I did some research and found out that The 2003-2008 Infiniti G35 models were SAFETY recalled for these exact sensors. So I thought to myself how great it was that I could bring it into an Infiniti shop to have it fixed for nothing, since it is a SAFETY recall, and there are no time limits on getting a car fixed for SAFETY recalls. Apparently I was informed that the sensors for my car were discontinued 5 years ago, which was 2010, meaning only 7 years later did they stop fixing this particular safety recall. I was told that they could not work on my car because they could not get the INFINITI sensors and they could not work on my car with the aftermarket sensors. That is ridiculous, what if someone rear-ended me at 70 mph on the highway and killed me because my car stalled and died? Have people been injured by this before? Do owners of Infinitis of certain ages not matter anymore? Do they only care about the people spending 40 and 50 grand on the 2014 and 15s? I have called and was told that my car is no longer under warranty, obviously, I knew that. But like I said earlier SAFETY RECALLS do not have expiration dates because they put peoples lives in danger. So I had to pay the $792.60 bill to my mechanic for something Infiniti couldve (shouldve) fixed for free. I have an open case for a call this Monday to see if they can reimburse me my almost 800 bucks for something which was out of my control. I was told it was highly unlikely because of my vehicles age. I would AT LEAST like to get reimbursed my 389 dollars for the parts. If I do not get reimbursed I am going to put a story about this into my local news station who specializes in things like these. Maybe theyll take interest and put Infiniti on blast to the world. How many people have they done this to? Have people been killed or injured because of them not fixing this SAFETY DEFECT? Not every 23-year old has $800 to fix their car and could take it from the mechanic without being fixed only to have it die again and may seriously injure them. This is completely irresponsible. Based on the companys rating on this site Im sure these complaints arent uncommon.

I love my Q70L. I am 510 and I love room in a car. The car exceeding my expectations. It has a huge backseat and a huge truck. It is truly the grand daddy of cars. Thank you Infiniti for making this amazing machine.

My Q50 has 88,000 miles on it and is out of warranty. It has always been meticulously maintained. This week while parking the engine suddenly failed. The local Infiniti dealer inspected the engine and found that it had, in their words, a catastrophic failure. There were no signs of wear or burning. Something in the number two piston tore up. The oil pan showed large chunks of metal. I had expected this engine life to be at least 150,000 miles. Infiniti Customer Service response to my complaint was that the car was out of warranty and I will have to pay for a new engine.

My 2015 Infiniti Q70 is not what I expected. Sluggish transmission, bad on gas, and my car has a rattling sound. I have 11000 miles on this car. The Q50 is a better car. I took my car back to the dealer for the 4th time and Im still having a railing sale. This should not be happening at 11000 miles.

Ive owned my QX60 for less than three months and after less than 3k miles the bottom portion of the drivers seat no longer heats or cools, however, the back part does. I took it for warranty work to the Infiniti dealership in Silver Spring, MD and they told me that the seat immediately worked for them which I know is a lie because amazingly it didnt work after I got back in the car. They said they hooked it up to the computer and the computer showed it was working properly, however, they never showed me the computer results nor did they show me that the seat worked. In addition to the seat not working properly the rear windshield sprayer was clogged and they blamed it on the dealership who sold it to me. They unclogged it, but it still doesnt spray, it just shoots out washer fluid. Buying this vehicle was a waste of my money and I shouldve known better than to purchase another Nissan product considering I owned an Altima several years ago and the alternator went bad with only 30k miles. In addition, the CD player in the Altima would jam anytime a CD with a paper label on it was put in it. They replaced the CD changed once, but the 2nd time it happened it was out of warranty and they wouldnt replace it. Based on that I should never have purchased another Nissan product and I wont ever again. The only reason I didnt purchase an MDX is because it cost several thousand more, but it wouldve been worth paying the extra thousands because thats probably what Ill spend on the QX60 after the warranty is up.

Infiniti has really nice selection especially the colors. They have beautiful interiors and lots of combinations. I really love the SUVs and the Sedans and have bought both before. They have the most beautiful cars out there. Infiniti is sleek, modern, but unpretentious. They are stylish and sophisticated, but without the fuss of many other high end models. I love the Sirius XM and sun roof options. But I wish other features were at a more reasonable price point. Bluetooth is cool too but Id love screen integration as standard. There are lots of opportunities for capacity especially in the SUVs. It fits people comfortably and is great for my family. I dont ever have to worry about anyone getting smushed.

I bought a ‘05 G35 coupe in 2009 as a preown. From the very beginning, I had issues with that car. First, the engine knocked and started to eat oil more. Gas got replaced. Just after that the moon-roof broke. The dealer tried to make me pay $2000 to fix it while the car was still on warranty. Now the air bag light is blinking. Just to get it checked they asked me $300. They tried to change belts that have 30k on then and my clutch that got wet after 30k (supposedly due to the way I drive) just for that another $2000. They are out of their minds. People, please do not buy that **. It’s over-priced and just a garbage. I was in love with Infiniti. Now I hate myself for spending that ton of money on a car that’s ** and has problems with everything (alignment since new, radio, moon-roof, airbag light flashing, clutch not being able to switch gears, loud engine even being replaced). I don’t know what to say. I hate dealers. They are a bunch of legal criminals that will suck 100 times more money then the repair really cost. And service—what’s that? Buy Infiniti, it means no service. I’m getting a ride off that car and I will never come back to that company.

Infiniti is by far the worst car to lease. Not only is the seating very uncomfortable but also created more back problems for me. The lumbar system in these vehicles is horrendous. What is even more upsetting, is their website has been down for days now. I cannot see my payoff amount. When I asked to remove the automatic payments option so I can make the last full payment (so I would not be overcharged with autopay) I was neglected and hung up on 4 different times. Customer service is a complete joke. One guy couldnt even get the volume on his headset to work. Do not lease from this company. Its time for Americans to stick with their bread and butter (Ford, Chevy, etc.)!

Infiniti is an overpriced luxury. They make minimum number of models and they all look very similar. The cars look a lot like traditional Honda or Toyota. I own a sedan and it comfortably seats 4 adults. The interior options are ok, but the styling is boring. The color choices are also very standard. The car has all the high end features but the performance of these features leaves a lot to be desired. The stereo options with Boss are nice and the nav system is offered, but the nav system performance is poor. Also, when using the car for kids, the child latch hooks are very difficult to access.

Although my wifes Infinity is 8 years old it only has 40,000 miles and was always garaged. Not left out in the Florida Sun except for short shopping trips. The problem is the vinyl on the dash is starting to crack in 6 places. Asked about replacement at the dealer and was told over 2000 dollars. I am going to buy a new car next year but it will not be an Infinity. I have never heard of this problem until checking on this web site.

2010 Infiniti G37x - The transmission was destroyed by the transmission radiator when it allowed coolant to flow into the transmission, flushing transmission fluid. (1) Sudden thump suggested an unseen road hazard. (2) After 2 hrs garaged and 2 miles: trans would slam into gear, surge forward 3 secs after full stop; shifting began clunking; trans would slip into N and engine rev; finally at ~30 miles engine light lit, and only 1st gear worked. Repair costs = estimated value of vehicle. Separate Review to be submitted on Jim Coleman Infiniti (Rockville, MD) and Infiniti USA.

Where should I start. A few months ago my 2014 Kia Optima SX Turbo began to show condensation on the front driver side fog light. I took it to my nearest Kia dealership (Ourisman Kia in Chantilly, VA) and they were very prompt in helping out and nice. Great group of people and great service department. The service department changed the whole fog light assembly and the issue continued to occur. Ourisman Kia escalated the issue to Kia Headquarters to see what could be done. Within a week a representative contacted me and was very polite in explaining the process. The Kia representative explained that because we had already changed the fog light assembly, he had to escalate the issue to a different office. The representative stated that someone from that office would contact me within two or three business day. I talked to the initial representative on 10 August 2016 at 17:30 pm and since then I have yet received any phone calls from the other department that is supposedly handling my case. I have called four separate times (08/15/2016, 08/17/2016, 08/19/2016 and 8/22/2016) directly to the person in charge of my case and nothing. I have been able to talk to other representative and they have been very helpful, but they tell me they cant do anything because my case has been escalated to a different office. Im hoping to get a phone call soon, but for now worst experience Ive ever had with Kia.

I bought a CPO 2011 FX 35 in 8/14 and that car has been the worst purchase I ever made! The car has stalled out on me at least 10x while in transit, several times with my children in the car; and I have had several close calls in being rear ended! This car has been back to Lynbrook Infiniti every month since 10/14 and spent the entire month of December 2014 at that dealership and is back there now again for the same issue! I have contacted Infiniti HQ and they refuse to look at buying the car back or replacing it - instead telling me that they will send it to another dealership located in NY! Meanwhile I pay for a car thats been in the shop more times than its been in my driveway! My kids refuse to get into the car because of the number of close calls that theyve experienced and I cant blame them!Wish I had read more reviews before I put my family Im danger and wasted time and $.

After putting a deposit down for a second hand q30 it took 3 months to arrive. The car is registered as a 2 litre even though it is a 1.5 litre engine. Had the car for 5 months and Infiniti still havent managed to get the DVLA to change the log book. I was told the VIP service was available when I bought the vehicle. Now I am told its no longer available which means a 4 hour round trip for a service. Windscreen washer failed and it took them 6 weeks to repair. To top it off wanted me to pick my car up from the service centre two hours away even though the courtesy car was from down the road. They could not drop my car to me. Good car but if you do not live local to a service centre I highly recommend not getting this car.

The company offers different variety of models so you can find one to fit your needs no matter what your priority is when buying a car at a worthy price for a great traveling vehicle. I wanted something safe to get me from one place to another and the car I got is very sleek and looks very fancy - like the bat mobile but safer and kids love it too! Theres a variety of colors available for inside and outside of the car and its easy to identify in a crowded parking lot. It fits about as much as most small cars - two in front including the driver and 3 in the back. When necessary it can fit more realistically.

I am the owner of a 2007 G35. Out of nowhere, my engine blew on the freeway at 60K miles. I have worked on cars my whole life and serviced this vehicle properly. The warranty on it is 6 years 70K and it gave out on the 7th year. They denied my case. I talked with a variety of representatives for a MONTH and got nowhere. I bought an Infiniti with the belief that this was a quality car... What a disappointment. Unbelievable how fixing (or not fixing) an engine for a longtime Nissan/Infiniti customer is more important than keeping my business and the business of every single person I know. Luckily, I regained control when the engine gave out. Imagine if I didnt. Imagine if my wife and daughter were in the car. Despicable. Please contact me before you EVER think about buying a Nissan/Infiniti.

I purchased a QX70 in July 2017. I love the car but I started noticing a musty smell when I turned on the A/C about 6 months after I bought. I took the car into the dealership and they told me to changed the cabin filter which I did and to turn off my a/c about a mile before my destination. Ive owned cars for 35 years and Ive never heard of such a thing, especially in Florida. The new filter seemed to help but then the smell came back. My son in law said it smells like an old man with body odor and Ive also heard it smells like rotten onions. I took the car back to the dealership about 6 months later and they did an ozone treatment which didnt really help. I took it back 2 months later after my friends who were visiting from out of town started coughing profusely when they got in the car. Evidently shes allergic to mold. The dealership performed another ozone treatment which didnt help. Infinity supposedly did a mold a test after keeping my car for 3 weeks in the shop. I have not seen the mold test but I can still smell the musty smell. The smell seems to be most noticeable on the passenger side as soon as you turn on the A/C.

What a JOKE!!! I have an Infiniti (2nd one) and it is leased thru Nissan/Infiniti. Anyway, I went to trade in the car on a competitive brand and Infiniti will no longer let you to trade your car in (have the other dealer payoff and buy the car). I have leased for over 30 years and never had a problem trading in car at a different dealer/brand. They said I have to buy the car, register it and pay sales tax then trade to the new dealer and pay another tax and registration for the new car. PATHETIC COMPANY!! No wonder nobody wants their cars any longer. Soon to go the way of the Edsel.

Having worked on and been a part of numerous Infiniti car company dealerships over the last 15 yrs, and now finally owning one of their products, its come to my attention that their brand quality is largely compromised. My situation is as follows. Having a late model Infiniti that was bought used, I concluded nothing is perfect and things would need to be fixed. However, I have never owned a vehicle with a melting dashboard. Having fixed numerous dashboards over the years for Infiniti on the FX models in 2009 to 2011, it had occurred to me that there are many other models with the same problem all the way up until 2012. The dash will crack and ultimately degrade to the point where it is unable to be cleaned/touched or even looked it through the window due to high amounts of glare it produces when driving (melting area becomes very shiny) understood the vehicle is out of warranty, but Infiniti has no remedy or cause for concern to fix these problem cars dashboards. I know there are plenty out there too. No wonder Lexus is the company to be.

I have a 2009 Infiniti G37x AWD, and at this point, I regret buying an Infiniti and will never buy one again. I have had the car 11 months. It had 67k miles on it when I bought it. Now it has about 83k. About two weeks ago, while driving down the interstate, the service engine soon light comes on. The next day I call the dealer and they say bring it in Monday. My catalytic converter has gone out, which will cost $1,500.00 to replace. I pay to have that replaced. I pick the car up on Tuesday, and Thursday the light comes on again. I take it back to the dealer, and within five seconds, the service tech says, Yep, now it’s your other one.” It’s another $1,500.00 to replace. I just got in the car and drove off. After filing a complaint with my local BBB and Infiniti Consumer Affairs, they offer to pay for the other being replaced. But ICA has to send a credit card to me with the amount they agreed to pay before they can replace the part, and they still have to order it. After speaking to Michele today, she then tells me it could take 4 weeks to get this credit card. These cars are cheaply made. I absolutely hate the 7-SPD transmission really. I could have just got an Altima. It basically looks just like it. Note to all, don’t buy these cars. They are no good as I’ve seen in previous statements. Get a Lexus!

My 2007 FX35, which only has 50K miles on it, has several cracks on the vinyl part. Per Infiniti dealer, it’s a wear and tear problem. How would a luxury car seat wear just around 40-50K miles on it! I noticed online that it’s a common problem and mainly for the brick color. They need to recall this cheap vinyl, and replace it regardless of warranty.

It is a nice luxury car - fast, comfortable, clean. Nice smooth drive in short and long distance. Nice exterior and interior. Nice lights in the front and back of the car. 4 wheel drive. Its got a CD player and sleek design. Luxury benz feel. Good for kids and cargo. Lots of room for my 2 dogs for vet appointments. Lots of room for my 2 kids and their toys and drinks and cups. I also like the amount of space for groceries. Theres customizable tints on windows, headlights and back lights, color of exterior and interior. I customize the GPS as well.

I have a 4 door sedan which seats 5 comfortably. Infiniti has a wide range of models from sports cars and coupes to trucks and suvs. Great engines with lots of power. All wheel drive which comes in handy in the northeast and a very good awd system. Very unique sounding engine along with a stylish new body which they just came out with getting away from the legacy models that have been the same for some time. The upgrades include real leather, nose speakers, sports seats, suspension and engine upgrade. Navigation is also an option, backup camera comes standard.

My vehicle is the G37 Coupe which is upgraded to the Q60 coupe which will be my next choice. Other larger models offered by Infiniti and all offer luxury, style and performance are QX60 crossover, Q50, Q70 AWD and more that come with premium packages that can be purchased or leased. Infiniti is awesome and nothing less than wonderful. It is luxurious and premium high performance vehicle with adaptive steering, digital transmission and the latest technology available. It runs smoother than imaginable. It has smooth sleek sexy lines and turns heads. If we are personalizing and building an Infiniti, I will choose the Q60 coupe. It begins with the V6 400 HP engine - digital suspension, direct adaptive steering, LED headlights, alloy wheels, personal technology inside out. Passenger capacity in my choice would be two rows and 4 passengers but remember its a two door coupe. I put the back seat down in the cargo area for my K9 passengers and they have plenty of room and are safe. Infiniti has other larger models with larger passenger capacity.

The Infiniti QX60 has great safety features, but the Navigation/Bluetooth is still in the ox-cart Stone Age. Getting driving instructions also slow and tedious, compared to GMC Onstar, which answers the phone immediately, compared to long wait with Infiniti. And, GMC downloads instructions immediately, compared to tedious, roundabout method with Infiniti. If it were not for the excellent features, I would stick GMC and OnStar, which are far superior to Infiniti.

Purchased a 2004 FX45 in early 2013. Seeing the dash bubbling and condition, I contacted Infiniti. I was concerned that it may be a chemical reaction and possibly not safe to breathe or would compromise the integrity of the dashboard. After my local dealer told me it was out of warranty, I contacted Consumer Affairs at Infiniti. Boy, they were no help. I do not understand why my vehicle that was serviced at my local Infiniti dealer since it was new - never bothered to fix this issue with the previous owner. I thought Volkswagens customer service was bad - but Infiniti not fixing such a blatant issue with their luxury vehicles is just bad for PR and repeat customers. I was going to purchase a newer Infiniti 70 model, but heck if I give them $60k after this.

We bought our 2008 G35X new. At 23K miles (mostly highway), we started getting warning lights for VDC off, slip and brakes. It was still under warranty, so I took it to the dealer (Dorschel Infiniti of Rochester) who said they had to charge me for the inspection if they couldnt find anything wrong. After inspecting, they said the only problems were that the rear pads had only 2mm left and the fronts 4mm. They strongly recommended a brake job for $379 per each axle. I was an automotive engineer for 20 years so I questioned this, but was told that 25K miles was normal for rear brakes and 27K miles normal for fronts. Given the long and horrible history weve had with this dealership, I was more than a little skeptical.I contacted Infiniti customer service, who told me that 30K miles was normal brake life and they werent going to do anything. She also said that she just had a similar complaint, so she recently checked into it. When I told them that they were about to lose a customer, the rep asked if there was anything they could do to keep us. When I said, Yes, replace my brakes, she said they wouldnt because brakes are wear items and arent covered by warranty at all.

I have a 2005 G35 Sedan and I wouldnt drive another Infiniti if they gave it to me. The CD stopped working years ago, Ive replaced brakes a thousand times, it drinks oil like water, and worst of all, the interior must be made from the worst of all leather look-alikes. The passenger door panel is pulling away and the arm rest, and sides of front seats have all split. I weigh about 106lbs so its definitely not due to heavy pressure points. Its ridiculous and everyone else I know that has one has the same issues. They are good looking cars but the quality sucks.

I bought the Q70 for its features but the exterior is nothing special. The car is very average looking and doesnt inspire the same excitement that a Mustang or Corvette would. The car is usually used just for commutes to work so the five person passenger capacity is more than I need. When I have given rides, passengers were comfortable and had space for themselves. There are so many upgrade features! The heated seats, navigation AND weather, and voice recognition are so amazing to have. Ive become so spoiled by the heated steering wheel, especially on these frosty winter mornings! The radar comes in handy, and the rear camera, and makes parking less worrisome. I have to even say the Boss speakers have converted me into a radio listener. Such a great sound. Like that option for AWD available, anti-lock breaking, and Sirius radio available. Love that there is a hybrid version available that gets get great mileage.

I am the sole owner of my 2005 Infiniti G35, bought in new September 2005 and only serviced by the dealer up until recently when I realized they are ripping me off. Since I have had it I must say it is by far the worse vehicle I have owned. It has an oil consumption issue in which the dealer has pretended to know nothing about or that they have never seen before. Every 1000 miles I have to put oil in it. I have replaced the cockpit because of a fuel gauge issue, which they have claimed to never have seen before (but first they replaced the sensors in the fuel tank). I have replaced the rack & pinon steering, and did I mentioned the only thing they could do is refer me to a salesperson to purchase a new vehicle. I will never buy another Infiniti. I wish there was an advocate out there for people like me when manufacturer does nothing.

About 8 months ago I leased a QX30 because I have friends who love Infiniti so I was excited to give it a try. This car is a DANGEROUS vehicle. We went to the dealership to try and get out of the lease and roll into something else because they asked us to come in and talk after I emailed my disappointment. All they were concerned about was trying to fleece us out of more money, not help us solve the problem. Here are just a few of the issues with this car: motor shuts off when you come to a stop so that when you try and go out to make a turn, it bogs down and delays (I have almost been hit because we live on a busy highway). The visibility is so poor and there are no added mirror insets on the side view mirrors to help with this problem. When you come to a stop the a/c shuts off and when you go it turns back on except blows hot air, auto door locks with key fobs dont work properly, it will not pair well with my iPhone (apparently has compatibility issues), back tailgate does not always unlatch and is heavy. I was told these parts are made by Mercedes with an Infiniti logo...if it were Infiniti I would be ashamed to have my logo on this car. I do truly hope no one is hurt in this car, myself included.Guess my husband and I will have to continue to draw straws to see who has to drive this plastic heap of junk each day until our lease is up. We were given the opportunity to test drive a QX60 and it was so nice and quiet and drove like a luxury car is should. But then they decided to try and really stick it to us because if you are extremely disappointed, they really dont give a darn. Hopefully we can stop anyone else from making the mistake of purchasing this vehicle and after our experience today, they dont get a good review on customer service either.

I have leased two vehicles from Infiniti, a G35 and a G37. I had no problem when my lease was up on the G35, because I went right into another lease on the G37. I leased the vehicle for 39 months. At the end of the lease term I opted to return the car to the dealership (March 2014). Several months after I turned in the car I received a bill for $300.00, which they said was for processing the return of my leased vehicle (which by the way was in excellent condition and only had 26K miles on it)... Well, okay, so I paid that. I get home from work yesterday to find a letter from a collection agency. It seems that Infiniti sent me to a collection agency for $59.23 that I owed them for the personal property taxes on the car for January - March 4, when I returned the car. One would think that after having a 6 year relationship with Infiniti - paying my payments in a timely manner and ALL personal property taxes that I had to pay to them, someone would pick up the phone and make a phone call to verify that I had received the bill for the $59.23 in personal property tax that I owe them. But no, they just sent me to collections. I JUST received the actual bill from Infiniti a few days ago. I would like to just say, Thank you Infiniti and I will not ever consider leasing or buying another Infiniti again! I am not sure why after 6 years they would think that I would not pay the $59.23 in personal property tax that I owe. I paid them thousands... crazy!!

Like many others with the 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan, my radio has stopped working and I have no control over my A/C. Infiniti had the voluntary recall where they fixed the issue, but of course all they did was put a band-aid on it. The original owner of my car already took it to them to be fixed so I cant even take it to them without them asking for some ridiculous amount to fix it again. If they would not have integrated the controls for the A/C and radio on the same control panel in the first place, we would not have to deal with all this crap now. Of course, calling them is useless, they avoid the issue and try to act like this doesnt happen to thousands of others with the same model. Luxury car huh? My Honda Civic never had these kinds of problems.

I specifically told the salesman when I made my test drive appointment that I havent been in an Infiniti in years and that I wanted to test drive a car and see if this might be of interest to you. I also advised that I didnt have much time as I had to get dinner home to my family but I wanted him to give me a few lease numbers to look at and think about over a few days. I had to repeatedly tell this salesman that I was not buying a car that night and that I wasnt going to make that decision without thinking about it and discussing with my spouse. His response was, Cmon man, I have to make two deals tonight. Rather than providing me with some numbers to think about and offering to follow up with me in a couple days, he repeatedly kept making offers which I had to repeatedly say, Im not buying a car tonight! After saying no about 10 times, he said ,Cmon man, youre killing me, I have to get rid of a car tonight. Never once was he interested in what I needed and what I was looking for. Since when did I stop in to a dealership to help out a salesman hit his goals?! Im there to shop a car that I might be interested in and needed some time to consider my options. After coming back with deal after deal and pressuring me to buy the car, I finally just walked out of his office because he obviously didnt care that I didnt have much time, that I repeatedly said this is something I need to think about and discuss with my wife, and that I needed to get dinner home to my family. On my way out the door, I looked at the receptionist and said, You guys just lost me for life. She said, Youre kidding. I said No, Im not. At that point, I made the decision that I would never be coming back to this dealership to buy an Infiniti. At that point, a gentleman came running out to my car and banged on my window as I tried to pull out. I rolled down my window whereby he said, Im the general manager, what happened, what happened, what happened? I said, You want to know what happened? I specifically told your salesman what the purpose of my visit was tonight. It was to test drive a car and get some options to think about. I liked the car and would have most likely come back later this week to make a purchase. I said, I didnt appreciate the hard sell and the fact that the salesman wanted to make me feel like I had to help him out. He then kept saying, What happened, what happened? I said I had no interest in being pressured 12 different times to buy a car when I was clear what my position was. He said, You dont understand, I have a certain number of cars that I have to sell. I said, Its not my responsibility to help you sell your cars. He then replied, Well, if you werent going to buy a car tonight, then I never had you anyways! I then drove off.Are you kidding me? The GM of the dealership is telling me that well I never had you anyways? This entire experience was the worst car dealership experience Ive ever encountered. Since when did it become all about, I have to make two deals tonight and cmon man, I have to get rid of a car and I never had you anyway? Whatever happened to listening to the customers needs and then seeing what you can do to oblige with their situation and what theyre asking for? If this salesman would have simply listened and understood my needs, then he would have given me some options to consider and asked if he could follow up in a few days. I loved the car and was convinced I was coming back to buy but I just couldnt do it that night! Now, as a result of this experience, not only will I never buy from Lake Norman Infiniti, but I never want to buy an Infiniti, period! Your general managers approach and comment about never having me anyway sealed the deal for me. As far as Im concerned, he represents the Infiniti brand and if this is what your brand is all about, then no, thank you. As the general manager of the most prestigious private club in Charlotte, I will be certain to share this experience with as many influential individuals that I can. This was borderline harassment and was an embarrassment to the dealership and the Infiniti brand. I respectfully request a phone call from a senior officer within the Infiniti corporation to further discuss.

Well, I guess I am not alone. When it comes to Infiniti, I echo the same problems being mentioned on this site (a/c and radio will not turn off) and many others. I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 with only 45K miles and I have to deal with this. I take care of my car but I now have to worry about what else is going to happen to it. Needless to say, it is not going to get fixed. I dont have the money to fix their ** ups. So if anything else goes wrong, I will just drive it until it falls apart. I will never buy Infiniti again, never. I will tell anyone that listens not to buy it. So, lets facebook this one to death, maybe they will listen.

I bought a 2011 M56s. Driving to work one day my check engine light came on and my car started jerking. So I drove to the Infiniti dealership to have it looked at... Found out the solenoid switch needed to be replaced. They replaced it and about a month later I started hearing this whining noise in the engine took it back to the dealership and they told me my timing chain could be bad. My question was why would that be and does that have anything to do with the solenoid switch they recently replaced. I was told, “No they have nothing to do with each other, but we will have to charge you 1400 bucks to look and see if the timing chain is the problem.” WTF… just to look and see. So I did my homework and found out a couple of people had this issue. Well the fact they lied about the solenoid switch and the timing chain didnt worked together - pissed me off because that was far from the truth. They actually work hand in hand to make sure that the oil is pumped correctly thru the engine. I called a friend of mine who is a certified INFINITI Technician in New Jersey and he told me not only does INFINITI know this is a problem, the technicians across the US knows this is a problem because the solenoid switch cant handle what it needs to handle. Once they goes bad that would cause you to have problems the timing chain - and if the timing chain cant be fixed, you ultimately have to get a new engine. Isnt that some stuff... Not only does Infiniti knows - the dealerships know as well. But the dealerships with put in on Infiniti and say it’s their problem. But you charge people to fix the solenoid switch knowing that he could cause a problem with the timing chain and engine. If you know it’s a problem why do you swap them out knowing it really doesnt fix the issue? This should be a recall issue for Infiniti, but then they tried to say I was out of warranty. The warranty is not an issue if you already know the part was going to be a problem when you built the car. How do I start a class action lawsuit for this…

My local Infinity dealership was selling a pre-owned car. Due to Infiniti being a reputable dealership, I had confidence in purchasing a used car from them. I would not have thought that they would sell a car with a major internal flaw. I test drove the car, looked at the Carfax, and things checked out fine. I purchased the car end of February 2020. A week later, when I was trying to set up my bluetooth and stream music, this feature was not working at all. When I try to make phone calls, the system goes in and out, and I am unable to stream anything from my phone. I took it to a Ford service center (the car is a Ford CMax Hybrid), and they could not diagnose by a quick look. They recommended that since I had just bought the car, I should take it back to the dealership to have them look at it.I called Infinity, and spoke with the sales rep who sold me the car, in addition to the sales manager. They did not even want to look at the car, and tried to tell me that everything was fine when they sold me the car. They did not want to have anything to do with fixing the bluetooth issue. The sales manager basically said oh well it was sold as is. I would have expected them to tell me that this feature was not working/a system was broken, but no one shared any of this info with me. I thought a company like Infinity would not do something like this, but I was sadly wrong. On another note, it took 3 phone calls to get someone to talk to me about this. Nobody was calling me back initially, this should be telling. Now, in order to get this fixed, I will have to pay several hundred dollars that I dont have, so that I can make phone calls in my car and listen to music.

Michelle at Consumer Affairs is the most ineffective, rude person I have ever dealt with in a customer service position. Infiniti made many mistakes in the sale of my vehicle which ended up causing damage to the vehicle and they have yet to repair the damage and be responsible for the added expenses to me. I will definitely never be buying another Infiniti. A car is only as good as the company that makes it. It was a very disappointing experience!

I bought a new M35X in 2010. I live in Ohio and I bought the AWD version to drive more safely in our winters. The car came equipped with Goodyear RSA tires. I bought the car in April and everything was fine when on flat dry roads. If there were uneven surfaces the front end trembled. When wet, the car had no traction despite being AWD. In winter, it was dangerous to drive and tended to rotated when on ice or snow. It had no traction. I complained to the dealer, Infiniti of Columbus, about the problem and after a test drive, they said nothing was wrong. I tried again, explaining that the car could not accelerate in the snow even with traction control on and would go into slides at slow speeds. The dealer was no help so I complained to the next level. The short of it is that the manufacturer did not care. The Infiniti representative said everything was normal. I started reading message boards and found that others had the same problem. The solution seemed to be tire replacement. The message boards suggested Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires. I tried once again to get Infiniti to do something but was turned down. I purchased the MXV4 for this winter and it solved all of my traction, steering, and trembling complaints.I know there are other 2010 M35X owners suffering the same problems. For your own safety, buy a good set of all season tires. You will be amazed at the difference and get furious that Infiniti put a tire on the vehicle with those performance characteristics. I guess there is a reason why Infiniti is a third tier luxury brand. Customer care is non-existent.

My vehicle is a 2001 Infiniti I-30. I have this car serviced at a local Nissan dealership since I purchased the car there in 2009. The car developed some idle problems and Nissan told me that it was the ECM (the vehicles computer). I had the ECM and a valve replaced 2 years earlier at Nissan, but they indicated that they could not do anything since it was an Infiniti part, but to contact Infiniti consumer affairs because they are likely to help with the problem since this part is over $1000 and should last more than 2 years. They indicated they would do this for a Nissan part.I contacted InfinitI consumer affairs and they instructed me to take it to an Infiniti dealership and get the problem verified. I explained to them that I was just at a Nissan dealership and they are actually the same company, but they insisted. Since I needed to get this problem fixed, I took it there. They kept the car for a week and a half and after all this, they told me they couldnt help because the part was out of warranty. They knew that the part was out of warranty before I took it into an Infiniti dealer and now I was out $145 service fee which they would not pay either.I asked to speak to a supervisor and Yadiri told me there was none. When I insisted, she indicated that a supervisor was not there. When I kept up, Jeane (the supervisor) came on the phone. Jeane indicated that the warranty was not the only issue (contradicting her subordinate) and indicated that car mileage and customer loyalty was also a factor. I indicated to her that I was an extremely loyal customer having my car serviced at Nissan consistently. She ignored my remarks and repeated over and over that they were not going to cover the part. This is ridiculous. Infiniti consumer affairs is a farce. People have purchased new Infinitis because of my vehicle as Ive always loved the performance and told people about it. Even though the car was old - this appealed to my friends because it showed reliability. I will make it my goal in life to get as many people away from the Infiniti cars as I possibly can. If someone at that company was smart, they would read the reviews in this section.

I purchased my I35 new in 2002 and now have 120,000 miles. It is a great car with no repairs -- maintenance only and my mechanic suggests I can get 100,000 more miles. No rust.

I lease my Infiniti QX70 2017 on October 2017. Since then I had very bad experience with their service. It start with the fact that they didnt provide my the additional tool to change my Tire. I waited 3 ours to someone to come and change my tire (I could do it by my self, but I didnt find the special key). When the help arrived he also didnt have the special tool and I was suppose to wait 7 hours for towing. Last week I heard big explosion while driving and the Exhaust fell down.I didnt bump anything!!! And when I went the the Mechanic, they blamed me to bump something and pay 1500$ to replace the exhaust. It was impossible to bump something since the bump was in the posterior part of my exhaust. I try to talk with consumer affairs but they denied my concerns. This for sure my last Infiniti ever. And of curse, all my friends tried to prevent me to lease Infiniti. I feel so bad that I didnt hear to their advice.

I am so sad the new JX has the face of a growl. I was hoping it had the high rounded eyebrow like my 2004 FX. I really love the new QX but it is too tall for me. I was planning on purchasing the JX when it was released this spring but I really do not like the front of the car. I will not buy a new Infiniti this year. I will have to look at new vendors.

There are sports, sedans, SUV models and I believe trucks. Perfect for a single person or a big family. This luxury brand is very reliable and lasts a long time! I have a G35x and it comfortably holds 4 passengers and myself. We always use my car for road trips because it is very spacious. I imagine the SUV would be even better! The appearance is very sleek and expensive looking. I love my LED lights and the way they move with my car when it turns. I also like the inside clock feature which is very eloquent! You can choose an upgraded package that allows you to have Bluetooth features and GPS right on your navigation screen.

Submitted an inquiry on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. On October 22, Lauren, Regional Manager over the dealerships in my area responded to the inquiry by calling and introducing herself in a voicemail. I have returned her call and left messages three times on October 23, 2015 and no response. Come on Infiniti. I need help desperately! It appears that Lauren called to introduce herself by phone to enable her to say a call has been made, but she is not really trying to connect with me. At least thats the way it appears. I have a serious issue and I am not hard to get a hold of. It is unacceptable that Ive got to go an entire weekend without having spoken to anyone and my vehicle remains in an immovable state. I have taken my car to two (2) Infiniti dealers and currently it sits in downtown Chicago at the Bermans dealership. Orland Park Infiniti initially had my car, but they say they are unable to fix it. HOW IS IT THAT THE COMPANY THAT MAKES THE INFINITI CANNOT FIX IT?

I had my vehicle in at Coulter Infiniti (AZ) for service for recall work on the timing chain. I had to have it towed back into them several weeks later when the car broke down again. They said it was just a loose battery cable. I knew it wasnt but they insisted that it was. They told me it was all fixed and I could take my long road trip to CA without an issues at all. Of course the car broke down as we got to CA and so I called Coulter Infiniti and they said they couldnt help me. I found Orange Coast Infiniti and they helped a ton. I am 1 month later now and still my car isnt repaired. Orange Coast has been awesome and found out that Coulter installed screws in the last repair on the timing chain and it cause the CAM arm to break and oil to leak out. My QX56 needs an entire new long block due to metal in the engine from this faulty repair. I have been talking with Coulter Infiniti for a month now and they wont back the warranty and insist that I have to have my car towed back to AZ to have the dealer that broke my car fix it. They wont honor service warranty for the repairs at Orange Coast Infiniti. I am a month out of my car, rental bills piling up, $2,000 tear down cost at Orange Coast Infiniti to diagnose the cause of the issue and $26,000 repair bill and NOBODY at Infiniti Corporate helping me or stand behind their warranty with their own dealer!!! I cant afford all of this and an attorney already told me it is a losing battle to go up against a car manufacturer. I would be out thousands of dollars without reimbursement from Infiniti. Infiniti Consumer Affairs is a JOKE. They dont help their customers at all. They just cover up for their crappy dealerships!!! I am so upset and in tears over this. I have no idea where to go or what to do.

Unsatisfied and disappointed. Recently purchased a brand new 2015 Infiniti QX60 with only 16 miles on it. I purchased this vehicle after talking with the salesperson and being very clear as to my vehicle needs. I depend heavily in the navigation, safety features and cutting edge technology. Therefore, I was sold a vehicle that was to meet all these needs. I was sold the premium technology package and other luxuries. However, now that I have had the opportunity to drive the vehicle and put it through its paces Im very disappointed with the vehicle and Infinitis customer service.First of all the Navigation system is old and out of date. Some of the local roads have not been updated to the navigation. I have called the dealership but they failed to update the system without an extra $400 dollars payment, even though I was very clear with the salesperson and I was assured that the technology package included this and it had the latest update.Secondly, the technology on this vehicle is dated and a few years behind the competition. My previous vehicle was a 2013 luxury vehicle from a competing company and its Bluetooth, safety features and technological efficiencies were superior to this vehicle. This vehicle does not have blind spot indicators (while driving) even though I was very clear to the salesperson when purchased. The Bluetooth lacks connectivity and functions as offered by the competition. The stereo system is inferior to what I had in my 2013 vehicle.Third and final disappointment is with the engine performance and MPG. The engine lacks the power and it feels like a snail. I am not expecting it to drive like a Ferrari but to have enough power to maneuver through traffic and acceleration speed to enter major expressways. The window sticker stated and the salesperson confirmed that it should get 19 mpg in city and 29 mpg highway. I have yet to see such a performance. The Infiniti QX60 delivered to me gets 12 mpg city and 17.8 mpg highway. Horrible mileage.I have called the dealership and they have failed to take ownership of the issues stated above. I have also called Infiniti directly and they took the same lackadaisical response to my concerns and requests. If I would have known these issues I would have NEVER purchased this vehicle. I have not started to scratch the surface on the craftsmanship of this vehicle yet I am regretting every single minute of buying this vehicle. Be aware this car does not compete to others in its class. It fails miserably. Customer service does not measure to the competition. If youre expecting quality and great customer service LOOK ELSEWHERE. You will not find it here.

I bought a used 2005 G35. Being that it was used, I got the Infiniti Premier warranty. Ha. After a short time of driving the car, I complained of engine noise. They said the car was fine. I had the check engine light come on, so I took the car back. They said, Its just low on oil. I was concerned because the oil had just been changed 2,400 miles earlier. Four thousand miles later, the engine spun a bearing, and I took it to them and said there was a problem prior to warranty expiring. They told me, Sorry. Sorry is what the quality of Infiniti cars and service is. I will never purchase another Nissan or Infiniti product ever again. I will be busy spreading the word on the internet and contacting my lawyer.

I purchased a 2013 M37S. I needed brake pads and rotors at 9,000 miles then rear brakes at 13,000 miles. Now I need brakes again at 22,000. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. I have owned many cars in my life and this is the first time I have ever needed brake repairs at this rate. I will never buy Infiniti again and I also own a QX60. I am going back to LEXUS.

Infiniti manufactured a faulty dash in the Infiniti fx35, which bubbles and cracks (after your warranty is up). Infiniti knows the material is damaged at my fault to the customer. Yet they will not pay for $2500.00 repairs. Infiniti will not discount the repair. However certain customers have been granted this courtesy. I guess Infiniti appreciate certain customers more than others. I have filed a complaint with them as well. There has to be something that can be done... I will never purchase another Infiniti!!
