Maserati Automobile Model 2025 Maserati GranCabrio
2025 Maserati GranCabrio
The 2025 Maserati GranCabrio returns as the open-top counterpart to the GranTurismo, offering Italian style, luxury, and performance in a convertible grand tourer format. It blends Maserati’s heritage of elegant design with modern engineering, making it a compelling choice for those who want top-down motoring with a distinct sense of exclusivity.
Design and Exterior
The GranCabrio mirrors much of the GranTurismo’s sleek silhouette but with a fabric soft-top roof that folds away to provide an open-air experience. The long hood, muscular fenders, and low-slung stance convey performance and elegance. Maserati’s signature trident emblem dominates the grille, flanked by slim LED headlights and a sculpted front fascia. The roof is designed to maintain a coupe-like profile when raised, while still retracting quickly and quietly to enhance usability. Customers can choose from a wide range of exterior colors and wheel designs, emphasizing personalization.
Interior and Comfort
The cabin of the 2025 GranCabrio blends sporty driver focus with luxury craftsmanship. Premium leather upholstery, carbon fiber, Alcantara, and wood trim options allow for bespoke customization. The 2+2 layout means the front seats are spacious and comfortable for long journeys, while the rear seats are best suited for shorter trips or smaller passengers. With the roof down, Maserati has added extra insulation and wind deflectors to maintain comfort at higher speeds. Heated and ventilated seats, along with a premium climate control system, ensure comfort in any season.
Technology and Infotainment
The GranCabrio features a modern digital cockpit centered around a 12.3-inch infotainment display with Maserati’s Intelligent Assistant system. It integrates navigation, media, and connectivity features with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. A secondary 8.8-inch display handles climate and seat functions, reducing button clutter. A customizable digital gauge cluster and available head-up display enhance the driver’s focus. Audiophiles will appreciate the available Sonus faber premium sound system, designed to deliver crystal-clear audio even with the roof down.
Performance
The 2025 GranCabrio offers multiple powertrain options. Most models feature the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 “Nettuno” engine, producing around 490 to 550 horsepower depending on trim. This engine delivers a strong balance of performance and refinement, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and available all-wheel drive. Enthusiasts can expect rapid acceleration and a top speed well over 180 mph, depending on configuration. Maserati has tuned the suspension to provide a grand touring balance—comfortable on long drives but sharp enough for spirited driving.
A highlight is the Folgore variant, Maserati’s fully electric version. Using a tri-motor setup and a large battery pack, the GranCabrio Folgore delivers immense power—over 750 horsepower—and instant torque, making it the quickest version in the lineup. It also offers fast charging capabilities and a competitive driving range, positioning Maserati within the growing high-performance EV convertible market.
Driving Dynamics
Maserati emphasizes driving pleasure in the GranCabrio. The car features adaptive air suspension, Brembo brakes, and multiple driving modes that alter throttle response, steering feel, suspension stiffness, and exhaust sound. With the top down, the exhaust note of the Nettuno V6 becomes even more prominent, giving drivers the emotional connection Maserati is known for. The Folgore, while silent in comparison, offers a futuristic driving character with precise power delivery and exceptional handling thanks to torque vectoring.
Safety and Assistance
Modern driver-assistance features are standard, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking. Maserati has integrated these systems in a subtle way so they support the driver without diluting the GranCabrio’s engaging nature.
Practicality
As a luxury convertible, practicality is secondary, but Maserati has ensured a usable trunk and decent cabin storage. The soft-top roof design helps preserve trunk space compared to heavier retractable hardtops. With seating for four, it remains one of the few high-performance convertibles capable of carrying more than two passengers, even if the rear seats are snug.
Overall
The 2025 Maserati GranCabrio combines timeless design, Italian craftsmanship, and thrilling performance with the added freedom of open-top driving. Whether in its V6 form or the cutting-edge Folgore EV, it delivers a grand touring experience that blends elegance with excitement. It stands apart from German rivals by offering a more emotional, character-driven approach, appealing to buyers who value not just performance, but style and presence.

We have purchase our first ever Maserati, after many years as a Rang Rover driver.Apart from the outstanding engine in the Levante, I am hugely surprised by the comfort and handling of the car, there is no comparison between the two SUV vehicles, the Levante is far superior. What crowned the purchase was the attention to detail undertaken by the sales executive Rosie Cox. She approached all of our needs and questions with full clarity, no hidden sales jargon, allowing a smooth purchase, with no Hic ups. What has been especially pleasing is the amount of follow up contact Rosie has had with us, from making sure we arrived home safely, to regular checks on the vehicle and our satisfaction.Great car, with a fantastic team at Graypaul Maserati Birmingham, a special thank you to Rosie, who goes the extra mile without being asked!
NEVER BUY THIS CAR!We bought Ghibli, its a total disaster !!!!From the begging car was giving a lot of problems. After 30k miles!!!!!!!! Car had a very big issue!!! Had to send it to Sicily to repair. Guess what !!!! Problems with engine !!! They dont change any parts for your engine - you have to change it !!!! Warranty doesnt cover the car anymore!!!! To change an engine plus work - 24k!!!!! For a car of 100k with 30k miles!!!! Spoke with Maserati - they said its not their problem! Because car was serviced not in their official shops!!! (And it was serviced in Malta but a mechanic with license to serve these specific types of cars). So they will always find the way to send you their crap and charge you as much as possible and once you want proper service - you will NEVER get it with them. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON GARBAGE CARS!!! You wont even get ANY DECENT SERVICE!!!
My Maserati Ghibli is the best Maserati ever. Elegant, fast and innovative at the same. I counldnt buy a better car.
Very very Bad experience with Maserati ghibli.... no buy this garbage please go to Bmw or Mercedes, but no this brand...e una marca di merda e la vogliono portare a livello di marche tedesche... vergogna no buy please....
I bought this product on sale and i love it! The product is so much fun and its a great conversation starter. All my friends are really enjoying it as well, which has made me the coolest person in the group.
THEY SOLD ME A RECALL. I LOST IN COURT BECAUSE THEIR LAWYER TOLD THE JUDGE THAT ONLY THE NHTSA CAN FINE CAR COMPANIES. SO NOW IM GOING TO TAKE IT TO THE NHTSA. MASERATIS ARE TRASH
Underrated car. Extremely underrated. I dont get why people hate it and say that BMW is the best. BMW is just uncomfortable and trashy. This is like comparing PORSCHE to Ferrari. 2 different cars with different specifications, origins, technologies, and designs. Great car to be honest.
if you dont want to get scammed, DONT BUY from The Bay and dont buy a Maserati watch from them. i got a watch from my pops for his bday for $500 and not even two months later, the watch broke out of nowhere, glass just cracked. Went to the bay for them to tell us that they didnt have anymore in stock and since its been past 30 days to go Maserati for the warranty. Emailed Maserati because theres no number to call and they said they cover warrant bought from them directly so go back to the bay. PS their warranty is a joke, going to post a video on youtube about that specifically. At the end of the day, neither of these businesses want to fix the issue, so if youre think of shopping at The Bay or buying a Maserati watch, DONT. you will just get screwed and robbed for your money! i will never shop from the Bay again and or buy any Maserati products. Scammers!
Probably the worst warranty support on any car I have owned. Bear in mind if you buy a car there are very few dealers, those that exist do not know the cars particularly well. The aftersales support is awful as it goes to a foreign helpdesk who are not native English speakers and its highly unlikely they will understand the issue. Expect to be put out repeatedly and expect it to cost you money. Probably better to buy a BMW...
An everyday Ferrari , classic , executive , responsive , passionate , sexiest car in the world.
THE REAL STORY about Maserati - Vulcano ?I Know all about that ! Untrustworthy , Unreliable , Negative ! To Trust maserati , means to distrust your own mind ! your money your decision but you has been warned !!! VULCANO Domenico .
The issue that I have experienced was: I did lease 2017 Maserati Lavente S on 11/11/2018 . When a car has about 3000 mil,my rare brakes broke down ( after making complaint to dealer ,they decided to change under warranty....they said that they never see that problem before!!!)Today my car has only 16000 mil and l still have a problems with brakes,my front tires are completely (probably alignment, that none one see in dealer during car service???) bold,my design front seat is popped,my color paint around car front headlight coming off. An beginning of october2020 I was driving the car in a rainy day,at the middle of the road car shut down completely, I have to call Maserati road assistance to send a towing.I was waiting over 4 hours .Maserati towing never showed up ( they said that they are too busy!!!everything is documented in Maserati road assistance)With a price of 102.000 dollars I was expecting little bit better quality .but in that case price does not match a quality!!!
HI EveryoneI bought Maserati Ghibli from H.R Owen 2016 Summer, since than i am regret to get this from them.1: When winter came , wheel start knocking when turn full right or left, its look like broken something from inside, according to trading standard its MISS SOLD and i could go to COURT, because they didnt tell me this problem even they didnt know till people start calling for complaint and bring cars back. But they found briliant idea to cover this. This annoying noise becasue CHARACTERISTIC from common fault. One of they engineer told me its common fault and they dont know how to solve it.2: After 4 months old brand new car both rear tyres get bolt, when i went back to service , they told me wheel aliment or agliment has been fault and needs to be repair and NOT COVER WARRANTY!!! Reason is i hit to curve ?? Can i believe that? I have 3 more car and few times i hit the curve when parking, nothing happened , kangoo , jaguar and mercedes but maserati gave fault since than i change 3 times tyres because they not cover as a warranty.3: When my service has became a due they send me email and i told them i just bought house now will do service few months latter, they didnt warn me about anything if service they must do late can cause something, Anyway after a few month i get contact with them and also mean time car give another fault Diesel Particular filter has been full, Guest what because of late service they not cover this , and i just told them dont do anything to my car i will come and collect. I been another place to finish my service. They are very big liar and what ever happened to car its not cover warranty, now this case will go to court. If you think to buy maserati do not buy ghibli , also never work with HR OWEN they are worse than everyone!!!!
Underrated car. Extremely underrated. I dont get why people hate it and say that BMW is the best. BMW is just uncomfortable and trashy. This is like comparing PORSCHE to Ferrari. 2 different cars with different specifications, origins, technologies, and designs. Great car to be honest.
I wish I could give them zero star , I got 2018 Maserati , 1 year old car , most of my times waisted at service, I have been to the service department for bunch of noises over 6 times , I called their customer service I said lemon law says I can return the car , guess what , they offered me 1 time payment on my car very funny spending 80k on my car and one year every 2 months be at the service drive loaner car for 1 week , 2 weeks , 3 weeks and at the end they cant find a noise , my break has a problem, I had to change front tires cuz they got flat for the garbage break , one year old tire , they said its dangerous to drive even , I was so excited when I got the car now I feel like Im driving a garbage car , has noise from everywhere, they dont do anything cuz its under warranty they dont want to spend money as soon as warranty over they call you hey we figured out the noise pay 10k so we can fix it , Im going to sue Maserati to learn how to treat their customers and when you have been to the service with a brand new car zero mileage over 6 times they better take their car back . Watch me Maserati . Its my turn .
I enjoy my Maserati, it has a soul and is great to drive which puts a smile on my face. Perfect it is not, the manufacturers dont keep many parts in the UK so a repair might take a while they come from Italy. Dealers are hit and miss particularly with the service and warranty work!German cars will win you over for reliability and all round good egg but loose out on the character which is why you buy a Maserati !:)If you love your Maserati youll give it 5*, but if you dont youd only give them 3*
PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE OR LEASE THIS VEHICLE!!!! For the sake of your money, its best to avoid this car at all cost. This is because I leased a 2018 Levante, and theres issues everywhere with this car!! The maintenance of this car is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE, and everything you fix or need to change will cost you out of pocket. The dealership depending on which one you go will not help you much. Unless you are tempted to get hooked by them and get you to buy or lease another of their trashy vehicle to lock you for a 3 year lease. Be very careful!
Never had any issues so far. Great cars!
Love my Stradale
Maserati driver, Levante owner....one of the best car in the world!
