Infiniti is a good car for all. Foreign but still nice for the cost of parts. Would recommend to all anytime. Very pleased with variety options. The cosmetics and features for this car are wonderful and a small upgrade goes a long way for appeal and overall look of the car. Not that it needs an upgrade at all to begin with but personalizing a car is an amazing feeling. Also very slick and innovative design. Can come in 2-4 doors and a gorgeous car style. It is sharp, attractive, and great on gas mileage. It also has great lifespan for a car. Mine has 345k miles and still smooth sailing. 2-5 seats in the cars and extremely comfortable and safe. A lot of comfortable space and leg room for sure and much space for luggage and anything else you may think of.

My first Infiniti was an 06 M45. Love the car. It has performed like a champ for five years with very little maintenance outside of what was scheduled. I liked the car so much, I bought a M35X for my wife, and she too loves her car, and it has performed flawlessly. I now own a M56s as well as the M45. My cars are serviced by Infiniti Of Dayton in Dayton Ohio.. The service staff is top notch, and the Service Manager, Don ** goes above and beyond to ensure that all of my concerns are heard and dealt with right away.

The timing chain went on my car nearly $5000 worth of work and parts to fix. My very helpful garage (Lia Infiniti) said to call Infiniti consumer affairs to ask for their help, as it is a known problem, with this specific recall notice (I knew nothing until car went wrong) with the QX56 model and my car was still fairly new with very low mileage. My car happened to not have a recall on its Vin number but the fault still happened. Because of this and out of its warranty when I bought it they wiped their hands of it. Pretty disgusted with Infiniti consumer affairs as this is a well known problem and even had recalls on this issue. I would never buy another Infiniti purely because of this. The Lia Infiniti garage I used had excellent customer care and tried everything to get it down in price.

My jx35 passenger airbag deactivation light turns on randomly. I took my automobile to the dealer at least six (6) times and dealer couldnt reproduce it. I recorded several videos of this issue where my wife or even myself is in the passenger seat and the deactivation air bag light turns on while the car is in motion. Finally, the Department of Transportation and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration released a recall. Occupant detection system may disable pass air bag on 03/12/13. Also, we are experiencing a problem with the city mpg. I obtained an average of 10mpg instead of 18mpg offered. This is definitely a fraud.

The air conditioner comes on by itself and you cant shut it off. You also have no control of the defroster, so this could very easily be the cause of a dangerous driving situation. I am convinced that this is happening to every 2003 Infiniti G-35 that was made. This is without a doubt a safety hazard and needs to be taken care of free of charge by the dealer.

I bought a brand new 2018 Q50. Within the year I have had several problems with the tires. The tire pressure warning is always coming on. I put air in the tires and a few weeks later the same warning comes back on. This has happened to me several times. A few weeks ago I got a flat tire while driving and had to have my car towed to the Infiniti dealer because much to my surprise my brand new Infiniti did not come with a spare tire! No one told me this when I purchased the car. After spending $415 for a new tire and wheel alignment, I now have another tire with a bulge in it. I asked Infiniti to give me a new tire without charge and was told that they can’t help me and suggested I go to the manufacturer. I informed them that being that they could not help me I would not be a repeat customer and I was told that that was OK with them???

I purchased my 1st Infiniti almost 2 years ago. I have spent more time in a loaner car than the car I purchased. The motor has to replaced at 37K miles. The head gasket has been replaced twice and my car is currently back in the shop again. The car has left me stranded twice! This is a manufacturer defect! I guess my safety and wellbeing is not a concern for Infiniti or the BBB. Im assuming I would need to get injured or possibly killed in this car (lemon) before Infiniti will acknowledge the obvious defect. Infiniti/Nissan pride themselves on having award-winning Customer Service. I unfortunately would need disagree as this is the first Infiniti I have owned and the Customer Service/concern I have received has been anything but award winning!

I have had my 2017 QX30 since Jan 1st, 2017. Since then the car has been in the service dept 3 time. The first time because the USB ports needed to charge my cell phone were not working. I received a loaner and waited 5 days for them to figure out how to correct it. Two and half weeks after the USB ports were fixed, the main screen in the car which controls pretty much everything - went BLACK. I took the car back to the service dept, got another loaner and only for them to tell me that they are aware of the issue, that they were able to replicate it but they dont have a fix for the problem at this time. A car that only has 2,770 miles on it, which is part of a luxury brand should not be having these types of issues, and they answer that there is no fix at this time is NOT an acceptable one. To add insult to injury, they continue to sell the vehicles knowing there is no fix for this defect. The dealer says they are at the mercy of the Engineering dept working on the case, but INFINITI what are you going to do to remedy this situation.

I own a 2006 Infiniti G35 that I purchased new. It now has 136,000 miles on it. I brought it to my dealer about 2 years ago when my doors had rusted and were replaced under a special extended warranty. At that time, I showed them an issue that I was having with my hood. When you raise it, it catches on the corners, in both corners near the windshield. Raising the hood has resulted in bending the corners of the hood and the quarter panels, resulting in paint chipping and rusting. It looks terrible, plus it’s often hard to raise the hood. The dealer told me that this resulted from having service at a non-Infiniti dealer, and that they did not lube the hood hinges as they were supposed to. I have never in my life heard of such an issue or service requirement. This issue is all over the Internet. Its just a very poor design in either the hinges or the hood/quarter panels that should be admitted to by Infiniti. Owners should be provided with restitution in terms of repair and resolution of the problem. I was at a service garage today and the mechanic said that every G35 he has serviced has had the same problem. Is anyone aware of a class action suit regarding this issue?

The car been in & out dealer to body shop 4 times since after Aug 19. Each time after body shop fixed, the condition is more awful, over paint or damage rubber, especially the tail light is crack and water inside the tail light. Now the new car is been repaint from front bumper, both side door in side, right front passenger door... Some area when body repaint without tell me! Both rear side door inside paint is rough, windshield and window has clear coat spray spot, window edge and door edge is over paint. Last thing, even now the dealer still not repair my DVD monitor and driver side seat belt buckle! I been send e-mail back to Infiniti consumer affairs 3 times since 10/19, plus I call them and leave message over 3 days too, still no one reply me e-mail or call me back. Very bad customer services for manufacturer. Very terrible and dont care. I recently purchased a 2008 Infiniti G35. It was in great condition all around except for some interior paint that was coming off on the inside door handles and on the steering wheel. I figured this was from normal wear and tear and I can live with it. I could possibly fix it up later down the road. Well after having the car for about a month, I noticed that I had paint coming off in my hands when I drove to and from work. I work about 11 miles from my home, only about a 15 min drive. Not far. The paint on the inside door handles and on the steering wheel was a rubber type of back paint, and it was literally coming off in my hands most of the time when I drove. Not normal wear and tear. I did a little research on this problem and it turns out this is a known problem with 07 and 08 and it was fixed in late 08 and 09 models. Great, Ill take it in since Im still under warranty and have them fix it. Before I take it in, I called Infiniti USA, their customer service number, and talked to a lady on the phone and told her about my issue. She told me that she has seen this before. It is a known defect, and to just take it into my local dealership and they will replace the parts. I read about this online and it was the answer I was expecting so I said thanks. The next day, I drove to Tim Dahle Infiniti in Salt Lake City. When I got there, I am told that this is wear and tear and is not covered. I explained that this is not normal wear and tear and is a known defect. He says he can no longer cover this issue, and when Infiniti has done it in the past, it was under a goodwill clause where they do it only for people that have had a long history with Infiniti. The service manager recommends that I contact Infiniti USA to see if they can approve it to be done. Well, I explained that I had already contacted them and they said to just bring it in. We gave them a call again. I get a different story this time, and have to file a request to have a specialist get back to me about this issue. About a week later, I get a call saying this will not be honored or covered under the manufacturers warranty. I specifically came from an Acura TL that I had previously owned to Infiniti because of this lightly better engine specs and on the recommendation of several friends and family members that have Infiniti, but I never had an issue like this with Acura. For a $40,000 car, you would expect a car dealer to honor the warranty that they put on the car, especially for an issue that is well known and documented. They even changed the interior paint in newer models so this problem doesnt happen anymore. With plenty of records online of people having this taken care of under warranty, I find it hard to believe they can do it for some cars and not for all. I am extremely unhappy with how this had turned out. I am hoping Infiniti learns from this and will cover it eventually but well see. For now, I will not recommend Infiniti to anyone again. If anyone knows of a way to convince them to cover this, or any other advice, I would love to hear about it.

Infiniti g20 and I30 are good standard cars. They hold up and last awhile. Although the cv axles and the starter go out. They drive smoothly and have a number of options for upgrades including Bose sound systems and built in navigation. The Infiniti i30 has a standard CD player and stereo with a 6 cd capacity housed in the trunk. It has leather seats and a mesh automatic window cover to help with the heat. Also, the powerful v6 engine, navigation and sound system are extremely useful. It is Bluetooth capable and steering wheel controls make placing phone calls, changing the station, or increasing the volume seamless. Large backseat and passenger seat space are great and there is also front passenger seat heating as well. The back has child lock if needed on both doors. Also, comfortably fits a car seat and two other passengers in the back.

Hi, angry and disappointed Infiniti customer here. I purchased my 2004 Infiniti Fx35 back in 2011. I was very happy with my vehicle until I came back from boot camp. U.S Marines and noticed that my dashboard was bubbling up all over. It look ugly. I feel embarrassed to give people rides. I dont like this car anymore. I did some research about this, and found out that I was not alone. There are hundreds of Infiniti customers who are on the same boat as I am. Most of them took advantage of the extended warranty, which I did not know anything about, did not receive a letter, was not notified until it was already too late.I called my dealership where I bought the vehicle, and they simply said I needed to pay a little over $1,000 to have it replaced. Thats ridiculous! And a little crazy. Like I mentioned above, I am not a happy customer. Called the Infiniti customer affairs number, and they were not willing to help with this matter issue. Case closed. Im screwed.

I purchased my 2014 QX60 after thoroughly researching all mid sizes luxury SUVs. I have always driven a Toyota so this was my first experience owning an Infiniti. The car worked beautifully for 18 months. THEN... Car starting having start up issues on July 2015. Several times a week it would take 3-4 tries to start the vehicle. I presumed it was the battery. At that time the dealership jump started my battery which they said was still good and told me to drive my car more often. Lol! Then several weeks later problem with starting the car returns. I hold off on bringing the car in until September when the car does not start one morning. Infiniti road service jumps my car and the dealership agrees to replace my battery. Three days later my car stalls twice while driving the car in reverse and the power steering fails while vehicle is in drive. Took the car in the next morning (Monday) and they checked it and said everything seemed fine. :(LUCKILY while pulling the car back from the service garage the car stalls for the service technician. At that point I was given a loaner vehicle. During this visit they noticed that a wire was loose underneath the car. I believe it was the body control module wire that was loose. For this visit they really thought they had the problem solved and return the car to me the following day. Four days later the car stalls again while driving and does not starting on the first try. I returned it to the dealership and got a loaner for the second time. During this time they replaced the hybrid battery as well as the key remote battery and they even replaced the new battery just to make sure all batteries were new at the same time. They kept my car for 2 weeks just to be sure it was fixed.Four days later car takes 3 tries to start so I take it directly to the dealership and got another loaner vehicle. During this visit they have been replacing both the hybrid computer and the body control module computer. They have had my vehicle for 3 weeks. The vehicle is still not working so now they think they will replace the harness! Oh and by the way, while the vehicle was at the dealership for 3 weeks parallel parked in an unofficial parking spot in a lot that is overcrowded. Yesterday a delivery truck backs into my vehicle and now the side bumper needs to be replaced. I have never has this kind of experience with a car in my life. My first Luxury vehicle is my least reliable car ever. I have started the buyback process with Infiniti and I will do my best to warn others to not waste their time or money on these cars.

Upon purchase of our new JX35, wipers did not work day of purchase. Drove home from dinner in rain w/o wipers. Car was then recalled for a rotor problem. Then on Oct. 20, 2013 at 10 months with under 5,000 miles, the entire dash went blank. Our connected cell phone heated up and we drove home because we were leaving for two weeks to CA. When we returned, we called the dealer because our new car was dead! A tow truck took the car to the dealership on 11/5/2013. We were told it would take 2 days to get a part and repair. Now, Nov. 10, 2013 and still no sign of when the new 2013 JX35 will be repaired. We no longer trust the car since we believe all the electronics and wiring received extensive damage in the electrical malfunction. We have requested a buy back by Infiniti to trade for a new Infiniti. We do not know if anyone else has had any similar electrical problems. We had serviced this car at Infiniti in July for regular maintenance and had not used the auto much since that service! We are awaiting confirmation from Infiniti that they will swap the defective lemon JX35 for a new vehicle!!! We feel this should have been resolved with the dealer long before now!!

I purchased the flagship Infiniti QX56 on March 27th 2017 from an Infiniti Dealership here in the North East. As of today I havent even put 2500 miles on the vehicle and its been the dealers service 3 times. The A.C. fan coupler and battery drain issues. The battery was just installed by the previous owner in 2015 at an Infiniti dealer and clearly reads that it has an 84 month warranty. However, Mandie from Infinitis North East Consumer Affairs Region stated that the battery warranty was only good for the prior customer and does not carry over to me. I would have to purchase a new battery from them for the tune of $180.00. My dispute was it made no sense because if a battery installed by the dealer with a clear record of warranty from Infiniti who cares who owns it 1st, 2nd or 3rd. The warranty should cover the battery not the person. Im not the only person having these battery drain issues and Infiniti is well aware that their vehicles are doing this. A lot of the online blogs Im reading is that the Infiniti has been experiencing issues with their batteries lasting 2 years max then they start dying. I think they should be investigated.

I was told at Infiniti of Cool Springs when purchasing my new Infiniti in July 2011, that if I purchased the maintenance plan it would cover all of the advised maintenance on my vehicle up to 75,000 miles. But I recently found out, not much more than a year later, that it only covers 10 oil changes and tire rotations. One year later, I only have 2 left. I was also told at the day of purchase that I needed to have my vehicle serviced every 3,000 miles, so I have tried to do this. Little did I know that I was quickly diminishing my maintenance plan that really does not cover everything that needs to be serviced anyway. I was also told that if I purchased a tire maintenance agreement that it would cover my tires if they needed to be replaced for so many miles. I was told today that this was never added. Beware of maintenance agreements at this dealership, since I would have been better off to pay for all necessary oil changes and tire rotations. This would have been much cheaper. This is very misleading!

We have had so many problems with our 2013 JX35 and are so disappointed in the quality of this car. It started with airbag problems and being told by the service department that it was operating normally. We took pictures and videos of the way it was operating and still we were told it was working as it was designed to. Finally looked up recalls myself and found where a recall had indeed been issued. I called our service advisor and he was totally unaware of this. Sad that a customer has to bring such an important matter to the people we trust with servicing our cars. When Infiniti of Gwinnett obtained the new part, it was installed but we continued to experience the same problem. We took the car in again and they said they had made an adjustment and we should have no more issues with it. Nope, problem was still there. Again we took videos and pictures for them. We were informed that everything had been checked and it was working as it should. Frustrated, we bypassed the dealership and reported it directly to Infiniti. Infiniti did send a company engineer to look at it. When I met him at the dealership, he immediately started lecturing me as to the dangers of airbag deployment, how it was the last resort in a collision, etc. He even showed me a 5-minute video describing the danger. I again stated that I knew the airbag wasnt operating correctly because it would go on and off intermittently. He said it could be from the way we were sitting in the seat. Sounded a little ridiculous to me, as if they were just trying to make a different argument every time they were challenged. I said I would not drive the car unless it was fixed. He did some calibrations and we have had no problems since. Other issues with the car includes leak above drivers door (tube running down from sunroof was not connected at the factory). Rubber on passenger side roof line came out (also done improperly at the factory), entire piece of the side where it was coming out had to be replaced and repainted. Have a continuous rattle coming from around the sunroof. We have had it in the shop no less than five times and is currently there again. We are being told that the magnets between the cross bars and the sunroof are too small and they are going to have to replace them. This last time a representative came and rode with me so they could verify the rattle. It was noted by her and taken to the dealership. They called three days later and said it had been fixed. She was on her way to drop it off when she heard the rattle so she turned around and took it back. Currently, I have not had my car for over a week. Also while they were trying to locate the problem, they found a loose bolt in the console (again something not done properly at the factory). It speaks to the amount of time that my car has been in the shop when they are coming to me to pick up the car for repairs. This last time they brought me the QX60 as a loaner car. I noticed immediately that the transmission is much smoother on it. My JX acts like it is always searching for the right gear the tach revs up and drops quickly and revs again. I talked to them about the significant difference and the mantra was Its operating as it should. They stated maybe the CVT may have been tweaked some on the newer cars. Its very obvious to me that this car is a lemon. Dealer said they could do nothing for us as far as replacement. The General Sales Manager said they could possibly give us the trade in value and sell us a vehicle (if the salesman agreed) at dealer cost. He stated that was as much as they could do so therefore, I am going to file paperwork under the Georgia Lemon Law. Bottom line, I strongly suggest that the Infiniti JX35 not be purchased. It is also worth noting that they have replaced the JX35 (after only one year) with the QX60. Rebranding maybe? Could it be due to problems with the JX35? Just very odd, dont you agree?

My wife and I have a 2015 Q60 S Limited edition. It was broken into two days ago by someone popping the cover on the key entry and jamming a screw driver into the lock causing the windows to roll down giving them easy access to the car and contents and causing damage to the door and lock. After doing an internet search I found that this is a known issue with Infinitys dating back to 2008 and therefore making the cars a target. I would like to have Infinity fix this issue with our car and others so that the windows will not just roll down when a screw driver is jammed into the key entry. Possible solutions: Disable the roll down feature, remove key cylinder or other. At this time they will do nothing and the dealership will not comment on the known issue. They referred me to Infinity consumer affairs that offered nothing.

We are leasing a 2017 QX70 that currently has 6,000 miles. It has been to the dealer twice because the battery keeps dying. The 1st time they just replaced the battery without asking what would cause it to drain. The 2nd time, they finally decided to test the electronics to see why the battery keeps draining. Aside from the inconvenience of a dead battery TWICE, we have had a loaner car for a month and still dont have the car fixed. We filed a report with Infiniti Consumer Affairs who sent the case to their legal team to see if we could break the lease without penalty. Brian, the CA rep assigned to our case takes two to three days to return phone calls. He finally called today to say CA determined we cannot break the lease under the Lemon Law. Our car is still not fixed and the dealer has yet to confirm when we can expect it to be fixed. We will never buy another Infiniti again as this is a joke. The car isnt even used enough to have had its first oil change! And there is no guarantee the push button start is truly the problem, so this could keep happening.

Infiniti is an overpriced luxury. They make minimum number of models and they all look very similar. The cars look a lot like traditional Honda or Toyota. I own a sedan and it comfortably seats 4 adults. The interior options are ok, but the styling is boring. The color choices are also very standard. The car has all the high end features but the performance of these features leaves a lot to be desired. The stereo options with Boss are nice and the nav system is offered, but the nav system performance is poor. Also, when using the car for kids, the child latch hooks are very difficult to access.

Infiniti Q50 hybrid top of the range, 4 wheel drive, active lane control, every extra on the car. Always driven SUVs found the car whilst superb to drive not to my liking, so asked if they would consider buying it back. Now I realize everybody has to make a living but they have offered me what is basically 27,000 pounds less than the car cost new! OK it has 9,000 miles on the clock so I would of expected to lose a reasonable amount. On asking different car main dealers nobody seems interested as soon as you say Infiniti. I am puzzled by this as I thought I was buying a luxury car. My question is does anyone out there know of any reason for this? And any advice on what I could do to get a few thousand more for my car? I would be very grateful.

I have a midsize sedan and its fully loaded. I have the available features it came with and its amazing enough. Its a beautiful black car with sunroof and push auto start with navigation. Its also great on gas and is very spacious with leather seats. The seats warm up as well and sits enough people for me. My family is a family of four and its good to have enough room. There are exceptional vehicles available through Infiniti. From Sporty sedans to family friendly SUVs, there is going to be a car for everyone at Infiniti. There are also a number of different packages and upgrades available. There will be something for everyone. Whether you are interested in a sport package, cold weather package, family upgrades, you will be able to find what you are looking for. There is also very good customer service throughout the life of the car you purchase. My Infiniti (which was an FX 35) was the first five passenger vehicle I had ever ridden in that was actually comfortable for all 5 of the passengers. The design and feel of the seats was only to be believed when ridden in. Infiniti has a distinctive luxury look. Whether one year old or ten years old they are a car that will make people turn and look.

We have a 2005 FX35 with the dashboard bubbling issue. We received no notification of an extended warranty with respect to the dashboard defect. We have lived at the same address with the same telephone number and email address that we provided Infiniti when we first took our car in for service in 2009. We purchased the 2005 from CarMax in Richmond, VA in 2009 and there were no dashboard issues. We were never notified of an extended warranty because of this material defect. When I googled the problem in 2014, I contacted Infiniti customer service and they said the extended warranty had expired 1 year earlier and there was nothing they could do. We open and read all of our mail each and every day before discarding and we never received an extended warranty. We contacted Jeb **, service manager, at Infiniti in Richmond, VA. He said there was nothing he could do. He also stated that he personally found that Infiniti was more willing to work with car owners to repair the dashboard even if it was passed the 8 year extended warranty if they were customer who took their vehicles to Infiniti for repairs (I guess because Infiniti makes money on these folks and are more willing to honor fixing this known defect on a high end expensive vehicle). We are just sick. We were told by YOU (ConsumerAffairs) that because we were calling 1 year later that you refuse to cover the cost of this dashboard which is well over $3000. I was appalled! We have babied and taken wonderful care of our car. It looks like it is 2 years old when it is, in fact, 11 years old. We were planning to purchase another Infiniti but will not if we know you dont honor your loyal customers. What can you do for us? I am writing you for the second time a year later because we have to drive in this car to work each day only to look at a disgusting dashboard that keeps getting worse. Wont you please help us! We dont take our cars for repairs to the local Infiniti dealer because we take it for all of its scheduled maintenance to the local Nissan dealer which is closer to our home. Arent you the same company? Why dont you honor this dashboard replacement when you know it is a known defect and nothing we have done to the car? (We even keep a shade screen up each and every day in our front window). Please do the right thing and replace our dashboard. We only have 80,000 miles on our car and are planning to keep it a long time. Please help!

DO NOT TRUST INFINITI. Infiniti Leasing will attempt to take money from you in every way possible. After being a loyal leasing customer for almost 7 years, I returned my second leased Infiniti FX35/37. At the time of leasing I pre-paid for any minor damages, scratches, small dings, etc. When I turned the vehicle in I was told everything was good. BUT, approximately 4 months later I received a phone call from a debt collector saying I owed Infiniti additional money to cover minor scratches and dings. I attempted to resolve this with the dealership who said it outside their responsibility. I attempted to resolve this with Infiniti Leasing who said that I needed to work with the dealership. After many months of back and forth and risk to my credit rating - I gave up and just paid. Thank you Infiniti - Merry Christmas to you... I hope this small bill you overcharged me was worth losing a customer for life and the negative reviews I will give to everyone I meet.

Front radar is not working properly called and said it is under warranty vehicle has only 20,000 miles. Dealer states the radar bracket was bent and that something hit car to bend it. Vehicle has no damage and has never been hit. Dealer says the front of vehicle is plastic and something could of hit it and bent bracket which is not physically possible. Spoke with Infiniti regional manager and she was just as bad and has no clue of what is going on. She just agreed with dealer. Never again will I purchase a vehicle from a manufacturer that will not stand by their warranty.

I just purchased the QX60 2015 with the collision avoidance system. I was disappointed that you have to turn on the system each time you get in the SUV. Why would you not be able to turn it on and leave it on. If you ever need it that would be the one time you did not turn it on. Also the insurance company would not give credit for the feature because it has to be turned on each time. Go figure as to why anyone would want it turned off.

Decent amount of models but need more in the large sedan category and more sport type cars would be nice. The large SUVs look like a remake of the Nissans. Though I know both are owned by the same there needs to be a difference if someone is going to be paying a higher price. The front looks amazing. Just looks like its angry and is ready to go. The on-board navigation and the whole system though is bad. The infotainment system Infiniti needs to be revamped because it is slow and old. The upgrade options are a little pricey but not as bad as other dealers. Some are worth it like going to the premium but the personalization could be better on them. Back seats have decent amount of leg room though me being a tall guy the person behind me can become squished between the seat. Plus when I get out, the auto bring the seat back can make it even worse and I have to manually stop it.

I just bought a new Infiniti 2015 Q50. The car is advertised to give me 19 mpg in city, 29 mpg highway and a combined 22mpg city-highway. This vehicle gives me a highway mpg of 12mpg. I drove the car for 1.5 hr just to test it and it did not improve. I took the car to the dealer I originally bought from and they say that the EPA reviews and that they are not responsible for that review. I believe that is unreal for a car to provide less than half mpg than what it suppose to. I called Infiniti and they said the same thing and only provided me with few tips on how to improve it.Also my front passenger seat makes a weird sound (something loose) when I head a pothole. The dealer said that all Q50 makes the same sound and there is nothing they can do in that case. Its a manufacturer problem. I have been with the car for just a month and I am not happy. I would not recommend purchasing this car. I am paying a lot of money to have this type of issue.

Having worked on and been a part of numerous Infiniti car company dealerships over the last 15 yrs, and now finally owning one of their products, its come to my attention that their brand quality is largely compromised. My situation is as follows. Having a late model Infiniti that was bought used, I concluded nothing is perfect and things would need to be fixed. However, I have never owned a vehicle with a melting dashboard. Having fixed numerous dashboards over the years for Infiniti on the FX models in 2009 to 2011, it had occurred to me that there are many other models with the same problem all the way up until 2012. The dash will crack and ultimately degrade to the point where it is unable to be cleaned/touched or even looked it through the window due to high amounts of glare it produces when driving (melting area becomes very shiny) understood the vehicle is out of warranty, but Infiniti has no remedy or cause for concern to fix these problem cars dashboards. I know there are plenty out there too. No wonder Lexus is the company to be.

Brakes dont last more than a few months before they have to be replaced. Now the motor that controls the driver seat has stopped working. I am a SEVEN-TIME Infiniti owner. On 11-9-19 we leased a new Infiniti QX-60 from Infiniti of Columbus in Dublin, Ohio. We traded in a 2017 QX-60 coming off lease. One week after the trade in, we received a bill for $2,493.84 from Infiniti Finanacial Services, due immediately for payoff on the OLD lease, which contractually the Dealer was to have paid off. I tried to reach our salesman Stephen ** by phone several times that day, with NO return calls. I then emailed to Mr. ** as to why our now turned in vehicle had not been paid off. He replied by email that their finance/accounting department had told him that the check had been mailed. 10 days later on 11/25/19 I called Infiniti Financial Services who stated that NO payoff check had been received.I again emailed Mr. ** our salesman who again stated that he again checked with accounting who yet again verified the check had been mailed. One week later on 12/2/19 I again called IFS who again stated that no check had been received. I agained emailed and called our salesman repeatedly who no replies this time. I then called the Sales Manager Radu ** at the dealer who said he’d immediately resolve the issue. 3 days later I again called IFS and no payment had been received. I multiple times emailed and called the Sales Manager Radu ** with no replies. On 12/5/19 I then called the Finance manager Mike ** who proceeded to sort the issues out. The next day he got back to me on 12/6/19 and told me the check was NEVER ISSUED as the salesman had told me, until 12/3/19 and that Infiniti Fine isl Services had LOST the check. On 12/7/19 I received a collection letter from IFS, at which time I called Infiniti Consumer Affairs to assist with my payoff issues and lack of customer service from the dealer. I again spoke with Mr. ** the finance manager on 12/9/19 who stated he would overnight another payoff check. That same day I received a call from Austin, a Regional Manager for Infiniti Consumer Affairs in Nashville who stated he would also assist in resolving this matter. On 12/11/19, I spoke with Austin again, as well as an IFS representative who stated BOTH the lost check and the replacement checks had been received and who emailed me a payoff letter. On January 4, three weeks later I received a NEW collection letter from IFS for the original amount as well as a check from IFS for the same payoff amount made out in my name. I called IFS, who stated the account was now in collections with the loss recovery department which was closed on a Saturday. I again called Infiniti Consumer Affairs and requested that the case be re-opened. On Monday 1/6//20, I again called Consumer Affairs as Austin had not called despite my leaving several voicemails at his direct dial number. They connected me to him, and he partied me in with IFS and then the Loss Recovery Department. Austin refused to stay on the line as he was “too busy to continue helping” and stated he would call me in follow up 2 days later. I then spoke with Frank ** at Infiniti Financial Services loss recovery department with my attorney listening in, and Frank proceeded to laugh as he reviewed the case facts. Upon his review, and after spending 75 minutes on the phone with multiple people, in addition to over 4 hours spent on calls and emails prior, Frank proceeded to tell us that IFS had refunded the second payment from the dealer to me instead of the dealer, and simultaneously referred me to multiple collection agencies (several of whom had called me already earlier that day). Mr. ** explained that he indeed could NOT avoid the check erroneously mailed to me and that I had to deposit the check, and mail a personal check along with the bill and collection notice to pay off the 2017 Infiniti, and stated he would no longer pursue collection of this account and refused to e-mail me confirmation of this or our discussion. The next day on 1/7/20 I deposited the erroneously issued check from Infiniti for $2,493.84 and simultaneously mailed a personal check for the same amount via Certified Mail, return receipt requested.Austin, from Infiniti Consumer Affairs called me once on W. 12/8/19, while I was on an emergency phone call. I am a physician and was unable to take his call. Less than 60 seconds later, I called Austin back at Cinsumer Affairs and again left multiple voice mails with NO return call. I hope anyone considering owning/leasing an Infiniti will give second thoughts after reading our horrible saga of repeated failures at giving proper customer service at all levels of management.

My black Infiniti began having paint issues. At first I thought it was damaged by something in the environment, etc. But upon inspection, you could clearly see the distinct outlines of the decals that had been placed on the car years earlier. The damage began there has now spread over entire car. I dont know if the paint or clearcoat had a chemical reaction to the paint or perhaps the decals prevented the coating from doing its job or perhaps the solvent sprayed on to remove the decals had some kind of effect. I researched on the internet and found several other issues of the transportation decals causing delayed paint failure on Infiniti vehicles. It is obvious from photos that the damage is not random or naturally occurring.

It has been nearly 2 months since I have paid off my auto loan with Infiniti on a 2008 G37S, and they have not sent me my title. I have called and called, and no one has a clue: (a) where the title is, (b) when I can expect to receive it, and (c) what the problem is. They are completely inept. Everyone I talk to tells me something different. One person told me that I overpaid (the payoff amount I was given) by $650, and that they would mail me a refund check. I have not received that either. The reason why I paid off my loan early was because I needed to sell my car since I was moving to Alaska. The person I sold the car to has had it for 2 months without me being able to provide them with a title. No one at IFS cares. Every time I call, they are trying to get off the phone with me from the beginning because they do not have an answer. I have asked to speak with a supervisor and they tell me this is not possible. So what do I do? Sue them? How can I make them give me the title to the car I bought from them? They cant get any more money out of me so they have absolutely no motivation to uphold their end of the contract and send me MY title.

This is terrible on their rep. I cant help what the previous owner didnt do but I need this eyesore fixed. I seen a Michigan claim with only approx 300 people. 2010 Infiniti G37x - The transmission was destroyed by the transmission radiator when it allowed coolant to flow into the transmission, flushing transmission fluid. (1) Sudden thump suggested an unseen road hazard. (2) After 2 hrs garaged and 2 miles: trans would slam into gear, surge forward 3 secs after full stop; shifting began clunking; trans would slip into N and engine rev; finally at ~30 miles engine light lit, and only 1st gear worked. Repair costs = estimated value of vehicle. Separate Review to be submitted on Jim Coleman Infiniti (Rockville, MD) and Infiniti USA.

I purchased a 2014 Infiniti q50 in February 2014. It FLOATS/DRIFTS/TRAVELS across lanes BOTH directions even when the steering wheel is level and straight. I notice it more on the freeway however, it does it in the city as well. I took it into the dealership in May to have the issue looked at by the local Infiniti dealership. They say they cant find anything wrong. I took it back to the dealership again in May 2014 (Memorial Day weekend) and wanted a Master Tech to ride with us, he rode with us and saw the issue more than once however, decided that it needed an alignment which is crap (It wouldnt travel in both directions!)!! The car had 3000 miles on it and needed an alignment??? Ok so, they did an minor alignment but, it still drifts/floats and travels across both lanes without any help. I have to constantly actively steer the vehicle to keep it in the lane! My local dealership tells me that they cant find anything mechanically wrong with the vehicle. I was told by the local dealership Manager that they were instructed by NISSAN/INFINITI Corp NOT to work on my vehicle until the Infiniti engineer comes out to drive the vehicle on 6/24 however, based on all of the negative comments about, I doubt that he will help me. Do I hear Class Action?? ? I traded in my 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe that I had bought used and NEVER had any problems with for this piece of crap! My Intouch Apps have never worked correctly. The backup camera doesnt work until you put the car in reverse 3 times, my dual screens have locked up 5 times and will not correct themselves unless you pull the vehicle over and turn off the car and turn it back on. My Oil & Filter light came on at 3499 miles and the first Oil/Filter change isnt until 5000 miles!! ! I DO NOT FEEL SAFE IN THIS VEHICLE!! I have told the dealership Manager and Consumer Affairs that I DO NOT feel SAFE in this vehicle! I purchased this vehicle because we are having another grandchild which means that her car seat wouldnt fit in the coupe. I WILL NOT ALLOW MY granddaughters or my pregnant daughter in this vehicle!!!

I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan V6. The air system is stuck on auto and my audio (radio) and rear defroster no longer works. I have no control whatsoever on the entire air system. The problems started in 2009, as I lost control off, and on until about six months ago when everything went dead. I had recall work done on the audio circuit board in 2003 and now that Infiniti dealership in Guelph told me that it is the same part which is at fault. This diagnosis cost me 57 dollars. I called the Woodchester dealership in Mississauga that did the original warranty work and they told me that they no longer will back their work because the Voluntary Service Campaign Audio Finisher Circuit Board recall is over with. This is a total scam that Nissan has managed to sidestep even though they issued a recall. They replaced my part, all right, but this same part was again faulty and an obvious health and safety concern exists here. As far as I am concerned, they should once again replace this faulty part since they probably replaced it with a new one that again is faulty. How can I possibly drive this car when no front windshield air or rear defrost exists especially with winter fast approaching. The least they can do is pay for the part again since the dealership wants to charge me approximately 1700 dollars to replace both the circuit board and the radio. If I dont get satisfaction out of this I will never buy a Nissan vehicle again. There are so many people complaining about this. It is pretty laughable that no one from the government has forced the issue. I guess that will be my next step. Whats your move Nissan? Are you gonna take the responsibility for the vehicle you made or are you gonna wait till someone gets killed because they cant see the road while they are driving?

Theres a lot to like about the entire Infiniti line: its always been a comb
Theres a lot to like about the entire Infiniti line: its always been a combination of performance, quality and luxury. My Q50 4-door is my fourth, although the first three were the G37s and the Q60 sport models. And until now, I dont remember ever having any problem whatsoever. Until now. So Ill dispense with further platitudes and go right to the issues. It wont drive in a straight line and Ive been told that this is a function of steer-by-wire. Seriously? They did this on purpose? Driving around town you cant tell but as soon as you hit a straight on a highway, you become aware, because the car constantly drifts either right or left, which requires making a steering adjustment every few seconds. (And no, it isnt the wheel alignment.) On a long drive this is fatiguing in the arms and in your head. You cant relax. Ever! Also, having a car that constantly drifts is just plain dangerous. I have another appointment with my local service dept but I dont have high hopes.Theyve over complicated the NAV/audio display systems. Controls for the NAV system are in 3 different places. The USB (my primary music listening) display system wont perform the simplest tasks properly, either manually or by speech (which is a total fail). I live in south Florida, where you have to be afraid of the drivers around you. I dont have the luxury of taking my eyes off the road to try and figure out how to make things work.Infinitis Consumer Affairs Dept has been less than useless in these matters. The first person they assigned to my case, some regional manager named Shala, didnt return my many calls and when I finally caught up with her and explained my situation, she never followed up. (I complained about Shala but no one followed up on my complaint.) The second person, someone named Amanda, said that the car was performing within its design parameters. Again... less than useless. So this is the current state of affairs with Infiniti Customer (Consumer) Affairs. They dont care.Of the various drive modes, I prefer the Sport setting, as it tightens up the steering and the suspension but there is no way to permanently set it. It requires an adjustment every time you start the car. Gas mileage around town is an abysmal 15 mpg and I do not hot rod the car. (In all fairness, it does get 31 mpg on the highway, even without Eco mode.) Theyve done away with the warning buzzer for the rear camera, making using the camera problematic. You have video but you have to guess how close you are to things youre backing up against. And finally, I use the auto seat adjusts for driving and exit positions and sometimes when Im getting out, it resets itself to the driving position, catching me in between. Ouch! My 2011 Q60 sport was the best car I ever had. I should have bought it when the leaser came due. This Q50? Meh!

In a two-month span of time my Infiniti G37x seem to have sudden and explained acceleration. On the first occasion, I, Mark **, was the driver. I took the vehicle to a carwash. At the end of the wash I was waived forward by the guys who towel dry the vehicle. As I stepped on the accelerator the vehicle shot forward at a high rate of speed. I was surprised but blew it off as a fluke. Approximately one month later my wife was driving the vehicle. She was a red light; as the light started to turn green she moved her foot from the brake to the gas pedal and the vehicle again took off at a high rate of speed. Its not the kind of thing that happens regularly, so its difficult to know if its a real problem or human error. Frankly, after it happened with my wife I was really concerned because she is an extremely careful driver. Truth be told, she drives quite slowly.I would like to have the vehicle checked out and perhaps have the black box read to see if there is a sudden acceleration problem. Im not sure who or where I should go to have this matter fairly examined and if there is an independent body who evaluate complaints of this nature. As a direct consequence the vehicle was involved in an accident (second acceleration), resulting in approximately twenty thousand dollars in damage to my vehicle and additional damage to other vehicles and property. The vehicle went from a complete stop, traveled about 100 feet striking another vehicle at speeds in excess of 50 mph. In the first incident at the carwash, one employee jumped out of the way and I managed to bring the vehicle to a quick stop.

The 2017 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid we bought is fairly affordable for luxury cars and it is fuel-economic. It is luxurious and has an impeccable safety record. It has a modern and sleek appearance, smooth curved edges, not boxy or bulky. The shape makes for fast and breezy driving. You will have an enjoyable, four-wheel drive. Standard features include: in touch displays, a glowing start button, and LED headlights for more advance and updated models. You can go on the Infiniti site to build your own vehicle. You can upgrade and your entertainment system can be updated. You can personalize your own color and technology like 4g wireless, et al. It is very easy to do. A sedan of a later model can have three rows of three passengers each very comfortably. You can upgrade seating for no additional costs.

I am the sad owner of a 2003 Infiniti FX35. I have had so many problems with the car and I will never ever even consider buying another Nissan product. My problems consisted of a non-working gas gauge, a CD player that skipped like crazy from the start of my ownership, replaced both front end wheel bearings, replaced the brakes twice and now the final overheating. No one including Infiniti of Orland Park who charged me $700.00 for a new after market radiator can figure out the problem. After a diagnostic, technician from Infiniti of Orland Park, IL; said, I need a radiator. I was told an Infiniti radiator would cost me $1200.00 but they can replace my defective one with an after market radiator for only $750.00. I elected to have them replace the radiator with the after market one. After their Technician replaced the (defective?) radiator with the new after market radiator, I received a call from their service writer and he said that the car was still overheating and blowing out cold air.I was told by Infiniti of Orland Park Pros that it would take at least 5 hours of additional labor to figure out the problem. In other words, the attitude was come in and pay us $750.00 for nothing and get your FX35 Infiniti out of here. He also suggested the cars life was over due to the 130,000 miles I had on it.In the mean time I have been driving my beater (183,000 Mile) Ford Expedition that I was forced to buy so that I had a car while 3 auto shops are trying to figure out whats wrong with my very expensive FX35 with the 130,000 miles on it. I am a Sales Trainer for a major Mattress Company and travel throughout the USA educating large groups of Sales Associates. There is not one class that I do not tell this story to. I am and will warn everyone I ever speak to about Infiniti and tell them to never buy or even suggest one to their worst enemy.

I have purchased 2 Infiniti Qx56 SUVs brand new. My current 2012 has been in the shop over 10x with the same problem. The dealership explains the problem to me and how this is unique. Each time the cause is something different when they document it and check you out. Now the truck is out of warranty and it will be my responsibility if it happens again. Trust me when I say, It will happen again. Being stranded and having to be without my own vehicle for days. One time it was in the shop for 21 days, they claimed they were waiting for a part from overseas. I did contact Infiniti corporate office and they refused to do anything. I had bizarre electrical problems with my first Infiniti QX56 as well. I had it in the shop multiple times and no one could ever figure that unique problem out either. I purchased my second one because it was the new body style and it was very spacious. The sales team was very sligh about and claiming it was all revamped and no issues reported. They do have a good looking vehicle but I will never never again buy an Infiniti. For the price ($80,000) you would expect more. I am currently leasing 2014 QX60. Overall very happy with the car, however certain things make me worry. At about 150 miles (ONE-HUNDRED and FIFTY)... I had to replace my transmission. Not repair or adjust: completely replace it. At about 2900 miles I have noticed issue with fuel-gauge: both computer estimated one, and the arrow one. Computer estimate keeps jumping up and down, and the arrow one is stuck at quarter tank most of the time, randomly moving up and down. I truthfully never know how much gas I have. Auto lights....they are always on, even when it is day time and sun is bright and shining. One of the welds in the trunk is a bit too big, so when trunk opens up it makes a squeaky noise (annoying). Now, I am leasing it, so if tomorrow all 4 wheels falls off... I dont really care... just putting it out there to inform others.

Within a year from buying my Infiniti FX35 from an Infiniti dealership, the fuel gauge began to erroneously display the gas level of my fuel tank. The issue presented itself with fluctuating readings, showing 1/2 tank, then rising up to 3/4, and then decreasing to nearly empty, no matter the amount of gas in the tank. My only defense to this game of Empty Tank Russian Roulette, and the severe headaches/anxiety/burden it presented/posed was to reset my odometer at every full tank, and refuel when the distance traveled totaled close to 340 miles. Currently, regardless of the volume of actual gas in my tank, my gauge reader floats near the E, with the corresponding red light illuminated to add insult to injury. I would randomly check on recall sites to see if this issue has been reported by others, and Ive seen the issue arise in later models and in other model types. The last straw, prompting this post, was my stranded wife and child, where our strategy to guess the fuel level failed us, highlighting the million dollar question: Why do I need to have a strategy to guess the fuel level for a luxury vehicle, with the safety of my family at stake?

Purchased a fully loaded Infiniti JX35 FY13 and owned it for just over a year. Someone pulled out in front of me and ended up hitting them in the back of their vehicle. My Infiniti ended up with damage to the front bumper, hood and right quarter panel. I dropped off the vehicle to be repaired in October 2013 and now I sit here writing this article six weeks later after getting into a conversation with both Infiniti and Courtesy Collision auto repair. Essentially, I am in a circle jerk as both parties keep pointing fingers at each other over a part from a company called Hunter which is required to complete the calibration of my car. The repair shop states car was done two weeks ago and cant complete the work until Infiniti supplies them with this sensor. When I check with Infiniti, they told me I was the first person in the USA to have a front end accident with this vehicle so they didnt have any of these parts available yet. I find this unacceptable that a luxury vehicle mfg can not repair vehicles they have sold a year after first customer shipment. I am also surprised I am the only person to have had an accident in this type vehicle. Either a testament to the safety of this vehicle or really bad luck on my part. It now looks like I will not see my vehicle until early 2014 (3 months). There is no guarantee since Hunter cannot provide a solid date for delivery of the item. Infiniti wont help me, auto repair shop wont give me vehicle back because systems in the car can go haywire without this part so here I sit making payments and losing precious time on my warranty! Bottom line: if you end up in an accident in your JX35, they cannot repair your car. Buyer BEWARE!!!

I purchased my Infiniti G35 at Glenn Nissan in Lexington in 2009 with roughly 30,200 miles on it. I purchased it as is. Two months after the purchase, I started having problems with the vehicle. I immediately had to replace all serpentine belts in the engine, replace the rubber lining on one door because it kept coming loose and was finally too stretched out to re-glue, replace lights in the vehicle that keep burning out, replace my drivers windshield wiper several times/year because it’s bent and shreds the wiper. I have had to replace the tires twice due to flat spots. I am leaking oil in the engine and now need new gaskets and O rings. Every time I go through a car wash, the water leaks into my trunk badly. I can find up to an inch of water where my spare tire is at any given time.My airbag light is on and needs a $1,200 fix due to what they assume is a broken clock spring. My tire pressure sensors are broken and now the key fob isnt working (according to Infiniti, the car isnt recognizing the key fob signal) and will need a whole new computer system. I pulled the Carfax report and noted the car had sustained flood damage and had been issued a rebuild title in California. I met with Infiniti and the dealer told me the Carfax report must be wrong and that all of the issues I have had with my car are normal wear and tear. The dealer then proceeded to contact the KY Department of Motor Vehicle and told them to remove the incorrect Carfax data without my permission (I am the owner of the car) and they indeed did remove the information. My Kentucky title is clean and I am in the process of trying to obtain the California vehicle history of my car. I contacted consumer affairs at Infiniti and they said their records reflected my car had sustained flood damage and had a rebuild title. However, Glenn Nissan in Lexington has declined to address my issues, and only to cover their own behinds. Im not even sure what I should do next. I will never buy another Infiniti again.

I understand cars having some issues over time, but the dashboard on my FX35 is completely a manufacturing defect. And it has been proven to be a vendor/supplier issue across the entire Nissan/Infiniti brand. Florida just had a class action suit won against Nissan for Altimas. There were two before this won in different states against Infiniti. My car currently is waiting for the Takata Airbag recall appointment. Why cant they replace the dash when they remove it to replace the deadly airbags? I actually would be willing to help cover part of the cost of the new dash since they already will have to remove it to replace the passenger airbag. What it comes down to it cars are a BIG purchase for MOST people. German cars dont have sticky bubble filled melting dashboards, so why is this a problem for Japanese car manufacturers? If I remember correctly Toyota and Lexus have similar class action suits. I honestly feel that at the very least, these companies should in good faith repair the shoddy materials at 50% of the cost.

I bought a brand new 2010 G37 in Blue Slate. Soon after taking it home, I noticed that I was getting chips in the paint. At first I thought nothing of it and chalked it up to road hazards. Well, I must have 50 chips all over the car’s hood, roof, front and rear quarter panels - it’s just crazy. I have never owned a vehicle that chips as easily as this Infiniti. I contacted consumer affairs and was told there were no recalls for this at this time. They told me to bring the car to a local Infiniti dealer for an assessment. The service manager ** at Circle Infiniti looked at it. He said, “Yep, there are chips all over the car.” He took some pictures and told me to have consumer affairs contact him. I just received a call from Infiniti’s consumer affairs who told me that the chips were natural. Are you kidding me? Infiniti sucks and I would never buy another vehicle from them.

2015 Infiniti QX60 - Probably the worst car I have ever had. A basic station wagon with a weak engine and sloppy transmission. No power, horrible brakes, handling. The tires are the worst. I hydroplane all the time in rain. Absolutely no traction in the snow even in snow mode. Making a buzzing and whistling sound like our 2013 JX did.

Infiniti had the variety I was looking for. Including models, mods, colors, etc. The dealership had many models on hand so I saw the features and models upfront. Going in, I knew what most of the features were but it helps to have them all there and I got to test drive it. There are many versions and upgrades to choose from and the reps were very knowledgeable about everything and answered all my questions about the differences. I went in wanting a 4 door but I got a 2 door and it worked out fine.

There are so many varieties. Im a very big fan of this brand and I have been a fan since the first time I laid eyes on this particular model. I would recommend this to anyone looking to buy a great car at a great price. The appearance is the best. Its interior styling is suited for anyone with class and style. The overall smooth touch of this vehicle sticks out from any other model. There are many upgrades from having a sunroof added to having leather seats put in. You can also have a front or rear camera added if needed. The passenger capacity has enough room inside for luggage and passenger. You can even carry a pet if you like. The seats adjust just fine.

I am so sad the new JX has the face of a growl. I was hoping it had the high rounded eyebrow like my 2004 FX. I really love the new QX but it is too tall for me. I was planning on purchasing the JX when it was released this spring but I really do not like the front of the car. I will not buy a new Infiniti this year. I will have to look at new vendors.

I didn’t want for it to come to this l, but I feel like others should be warned. In Aug 2016 I leased a 2016 Q50 from Infiniti on Camelback. I love my car and planned to purchase it after the lease, up until these last couple months. In the beginning of October 2018, it started running hot and overheating, on October 24th took it into Infiniti of Scottsdale for an inspection and they gave me the all clear saying they couldn’t replicate the issue and nothing was wrong with my car after having it for 2 days. The service tech told me if it continues to call them back and bring it up.On my way home from the dealership, my car was running hot but not overheating and when I looked in the coolant reservoir, it was pretty much empty after just being filled at the dealership. I called and the service tech said to email him the photos which I did and never received a call back (it was the weekend). I continued to drive my car just adding 1/4 quart coolant, if not more, a day until the “low oil pressure, stop vehicle” light came about 8 days later (800 miles). I then had my car towed to Infiniti on Camelback where I purchased the car and had them look at it for the same issue. I was told that there was sludge in my engine and I had “lack of maintenance.”Before even being asked to provide all my receipt of oil changes, they noted on my car that there was lack of maintenance. They changed the oil at Infiniti on Camelback, still couldnt replicate the losing coolant and overheating issue and once again sent me on my way and told me to continue driving the car. Fast forward to Thanksgiving Day (4 days after getting my car back), we are driving to our families in Surprise Arizona from Chandler Arizona and about 45 minutes into the drive, I try accelerating and it doesn’t do anything. I pull into the suicide lane as I couldn’t do anything else and once the car finally hit about 20 mph the motor seized and started knocking. As it being Thanksgiving, Infiniti on Camelback is closed, we called the Infiniti towing line so they could tow the car in and we would have someone just come get us so we could still enjoy Thanksgiving. We were only quoted 90 minutes for the tow, but sat on the I10 for almost 4 and a half hour. I called Camelback the next day and spoke to the service manager. They refused to give me a loaner, and said that I would need to purchase a battery for $250 and $759 to break my car apart, before they could start the diagnostic on my car. That is ridiculously high for a battery for 1 and why am I being charged labour for something that should be under warranty?I purchase a battery from Infiniti of Peoria for $150 and self installed it. They still refused to do any diagnostic unless I paid them the $750 to break my car down. As my car in the last month had been given the all clear, and now they were saying I never did oil changes and it was my fault the motor and turbos blew. The service manager was VERY rude to me and just kept repeating “your lack of maintenance,” refusing to listen to anything else I had to say or look at any of my maintenance reports.I didn’t feel comfortable moving forward with them so I transferred my car to Infiniti of Coulter AFTER speaking with a service technician who said he “doesn’t see why warranty wouldn’t approve it because it been checked 2 times in the last month and I have all my oil records. It sound like the coolant is mixing with the oil.” He told me at first if warranty didn’t approve it, but he didn’t see why they would. It would be $350 to pay, easy, told him to go ahead. I still mind you have not had a loaner vehicle. They did the inspection and to my understand they had all my service records and submitted the claim, the claim came back asking for my photo of the top of my engine which brought the charge up to $1400. I asked him what he thought was going to happen and he said he wasn’t sure but he still didn’t feel like it would be denied. After thinking about it, I really didn’t have any other choice and said go ahead.About a week passed and I heard nothing, I called asking if I would be able to get a loaner and he said yeah I should have something Thursday [on Monday]. I said okay and we left it at that. On Thursday I called to see when the loaner would be ready and he said my claim came back denied so I wouldn’t be able to get a loaner and the price on a used engine and turbo would be $14,000 or he could find a new motor but it would be about $14000 plus my $1,400 I already owe them. I’ve called consumer affairs numerous time and escalated it due to the fact they denied it “due to the sludge being in the engine it an automatic denial for lack of maintenance of the vehicle.” Well come to find out the claim was submitted with 2 service records. Of course they would deny it! I asked the service tech to attach the records so they can reevaluate and was told “no amount of service records can change their decision.”Well come back to this week after waiting since the 23rd or December for a call back from a regional supervisor in consumer affairs, I get the call telling me there will be no other communication and that I am not only responsible for a new motor but continue to pay the lease [done on Nov 1 2019] and any damaged that will be due after turning the lease in. So after paying almost $40,000 for the car, I now will have to pay an additional $20,000 for a motor and $470 a month till November. Not only that, I’ve made 3 payment on a car that’s been sitting at Infiniti with no loaner provided, lost out on not only Thanksgiving but Christmas and New Years with my family because I had no transportation to get there. Not only that but I’ve been having to rely on rides to work or paying for Lyfts. I’ve never in my life had such a bad experience with a company. I’ve personally purchased 2 vehicles from Infiniti and in the last 3 years my dad has purchase almost 6. I was a very loyal Infiniti customer but now I will never be back to any Infiniti or Nissan dealership. I’ve spoked with 3 master techs, without even telling them what’s happened to the car just showed them the videos and photos, ever since one of them have said, “there is a leak in my head gasket and coolant is mixed with my oil.” Sludge take thousands of miles to build in an engine, not only was it taken 800 miles prior and given the all clear AT AN INFINITI DEALERSHIP but the oil was changed 3,000 miles prior, and we still have the oil from that change. Not only did this happen to my car but is now happening to multiple other Infiniti’s and has (to my knowledge in Arizona only) happened to at least 6 others who have had their motor replaced already, through warranty or paying for it themselves. Mind you, I also paid for the 3 years or 45000 miles maintenance package for $499 that Infiniti on Camelback never attached to my lease.
